We didn’t think we could afford new couches, and were just wishfully looking at styles and selections. Ashley offered a lot of contemporary and classic styles. Shawn was showing my husband around while I went to the restroom. He found a couch and loveseat that checked all our boxes, and when I reminded him we could not spend our Christmas savings on furniture, Shawn informed us of the great 60 months no interest plan. I am so happy with our selections, the guarantees along with the savings, and the “white glove” delivery.

I originally went to the store planning to buy just a bed frame, but after seeing the variety of mattresses they had on display, I ended up buying one of those as well! The staff did an excellent job walking me through all the bed options, and they really helped me find the right fit for my needs. The manager, Mike, was especially nice and down to earth, which made the experience even better. Lauren was also really helpful during the process—she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my choice. Overall, it was a great experience!

I had a wonderful shopping experience at the Richmond Outlet while I was shopping for my new bedroom suite. Not only did they get me a phenomenal deal but they even were able to help me find the perfect mattress that has helped me find my best night's sleep ever. I just bought a Tempurpedic bed with an adjustable base including a comforter from Ashley Outlet in Richmond. I was a little worried because I wasn't able to get to the phone when they called the first couple of times but they were persistent and were able to deliver my items and set up my bed. They didn't leave until they made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. I want to thank Mike, Lauren and Maria. They did a great job working as a team. I feel like they went above and beyond because I failed to be there when I told them I would be and they continued trying to reach me. This is a really nice store but it was really the employees that went above and beyond. I would not only recommend this store but when I'm ready to buy furniture for my dining room I know exactly where I'm going to go and who I'm going to talk to. Thank you Mike, Lauren and Maria. You all are fantastic sales people. You showed great patience and persistence. I'll see you in a couple of months!

This place had such nice workers my 13 year old daughter and her friends were in there and they were laying on the beds trying them out and one of the works was very nice and polite and showed them how it works.
Lauren was both professional and personable. She listened to what I wanted and showed me the perfect chair. When I told her about how I had hurt my back, she also told me about a device I could put under my mattress that would lift the head or foot. She mentioned it could take the pressure off of my back. She is very knowledgeable and kind.

I don’t believe that I could have had better treatment anywhere else. He spent quite a bit of time with my daughter and me explaining each item. When I (finally) decided which dresser I wanted, he checked to see if they might have a second one. I had wanted 2 of them. He found a second one that was at a lower price. He then arranged with the manager to price them both at the lower price and added the clearance reduction on both. If I need any additional furniture, Ashley will be my first stop. Thank you all!

He even turned over the recliner I was interested in to show me the construction of it. I highly recommend Ashley Outlet. The delivery guys were kind and considerate and very efficient as well. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Went in and paid for a reclining love seat on the 27th April 2024 and was told delivery would be the 4th of May and was very happy with a quick delivery. Well, I hadn’t heard anything about conformation so I call thinking I would get the store and instead it was a call center, the lady couldn’t find my order by my telephone number so she transferred me to store. Sales lady was very rude by talking over me and not listening, all she wanted to tell me that the girl that made the sale was new and had forgotten to get my ID. Because of this she said their audit department placed my order on hold, I gave her the ID she wanted and asked to speak with a manager. The manager must have been standing there the whole time as it was very quick that she was on the line, from the start she was very rude and as she keep making excuses and telling me I probably was not going to get what I paid for plus paying for the delivery I told her to cancel the order and refund the card I had used, she then hung up on me without notice. Not wanting to leave it there I tried calling corporate but once again was directed to call center. The lady was very polite and courteous but also told me that the day I went in the new salesperson wrote it up as a quote but still charged me over 9 hundred dollars. She also said that they just created the new sales order today the 3rd of May 2024. How did they charge me with just a quote in the system? Still waiting to see if they do a full refund on card or if I have to take further action.
I got my new but demo couch 11/22/23 one of the recliner was messed up they've sent me 2 parts I didn't need when the technician did come he didn't fix the couch he left it still messed up I was told by several people not to go to Ashley furniture I didn't listen and went anyway big mistake people listen don't go to Ashley furniture you will regret it

Customer Service = Zero Stars! 1) No help from the employees when it came to finding a couch (all of them were sitting on their phones meanwhile looking at me waiting for their help) 2) No help when it came to them delivering the wrong sized piece to my home! They gave me a number to text for any issues after delivery, and I have yet to hear back. I’d advise you all to go to any other location.

I found same furniture at lexington overstock for a cheaper price. I wished I had looked around before buying.
Ordered a sectional waited 3 weeks to ensure complete delivery! Upon arrival it was only a partial delivery! We were not notified prior! There was NO communication from Ashley ! Just the delivery company the day of delivery! Still no communication of a partial delivery! I spoke with a representative from Ashley and was told I was basically lying then she looked in the history and realized it was there mistake ! Still no effort from Ashley to make it right! We will Never use this company again! 2 thousand dollars for half a couch ! If the remaining isn’t delivered in the next 2 weeks I’ll contact the BBB ! How insufficient can this company Be and still have a business! 😡😡😡😡

Deceitful and misleading. I purchased a cream almost ombre looking rug off of the clearance rack. When we unrolled it at home we noticed it wasnt ombre it was dirty.. (used) which was never mentioned during the purchasing process. The following day 2/18/24 we took the rug back to Ashley outlet richmond ky and spoke to the manager who informed us that once it's out the door it can't be returned, we had signed the 5 page store document receipt...NONE of this was discussed at time of purchase or that they sell dirty used products. While discussing issues with the manager he said all he could do was tell his staff to highlight the sentence pointing out returns/clearance store policies, and he could use this as a training opportunity.The salesperson( whom the manager referred to as one of his top seller) who sold the rug was present as well, she stated she didn't know the rug was dirty when she sold it to us and pointed us back to the manager who was present the whole time. The manager said we should have checked the rug before leaving, basically sol. The salesperson who sold us the rug said we could donate it to a shelter.... really?? Why is Ashley's selling items that are dirty. Then acknowledging that they sell dirty items, and I should have known since it was on the clearance rack. I guess business ethics and doing what is right is unimportant, a sale is a sale to them. Im stuck with the dirty rug! Buyer beware.

Really honest, down-to-earth guy and a lot of fun to work with! No pressure but when i was between two choices he offered advice to help me figure out what *I* wanted. I'd trust him with any purchase I make, anywhere! I was really happy to know he was over here right when I and my mother both needed new couches! I'm so looking forward to getting my new couch 😊You can't go wrong with the staff at Richmond, all of them are amazingly helpful and uncommonly honest salespeople! Financing was giving us problems but Jenny was so kind to help us figure it out to complete my purchase. 5 stars for the Richmond team!

Fake promises, LARRY FRANKLIN JUST LIED TO SELL. We ordered before Black Friday because it was supposed to be at the first week of December, the they scheduled until December 13th, then they confused the colors of the sofa (it was 2 parts) so they sent 1 on the right color and the other one was a different one. Now we will have to wait another week. NO PROFESSIONAL WORKERS NO LOGISTICS

Richmond KY I recently made a significant purchase of over $10,000 from this store during Thanksgiving weekend. We made it clear that we needed everything delivered that week, and if that couldn't be accommodated, we didn't want the item at all. When placing the order, we requested a discount, which we were told we received without questioning it further. We also specified that we didn't want a warranty for certain items, such as the TV stand. However, we were informed that removing the warranty would result in losing the discount. We were also told we could pickup the items. Somebody from their delivery department would contact us and we could schedule a pickup date. The delivery charge in turn would be refunded when we pickup. The warranty alone on all items cost me over $2000. After signing the papers, we realized that the prices we paid for each item were actually much higher than their online prices, indicating that no real discount had been applied. Moreover, our lawyer informed us that it is illegal to offer a discount contingent upon purchasing a warranty. We should have had the freedom to choose which items we wanted the warranty on. To make matters worse, our order was not delivered in one shipment, and the delivery team from Ashley's rescheduled multiple times, often for random dates and times. They showed no willingness to work with us or accommodate our requests. Their delivery charges were exorbitant as well. Every time I requested an alternative, such as picking up the items myself, which would have cost only a tank of gas as I lived just an hour away, my request was denied. The store assured me that I could pick up from their warehouse, but the warehouse insisted on delivery only. I must admit that the delivery drivers were the only positive aspect of this transaction - they were pleasant and professional. However, overall, this experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I will not be supporting this store in the future. It feels as if they only cared about making maximum profit and not really looking at a customer spending that kind of money.

As far as finding what I wanted, that was easy. I was able to find the kind of bed my mother wanting for two years, and found one for myself as well. I bought two mattresses that were very nice and, thankfully, on clearance. The mattresses alone were worth the purchase. For less than half price each, I got two fantastic Sealy mattresses. Not a single regret about the furniture I bought.The saleswoman was very eager to make the sale - which, honestly, I figured, because I'm sure they work on commission. And as we talked, I made it clear that the furniture was for a household of two disabled people. She assured me that the delivery guys would take care of things.Fast-forward to delivery day. The furniture arrives at the beginning of the delivery window they had told me - very nice and prompt. The guys come in to confirm where we want things, but when they see that the bed is still standing, they tell me that no, their job is delivery, not disassembly. They aren't going to be able to move the old furniture to make room for the new.I need to make it clear that I don't blame them. They're probably under some insurance caveats about accidental destruction of property and so forth. I do, however, blame the saleswoman. She assured me that this would be taken care of. Obviously, it wasn't, and if I wanted my *wheelchair-bound* mother to get to her bedroom, the bathroom, or her medications, I had to go against doctor's orders about strain and lifting to disassemble the old bed. Otherwise, I'd still have pieces of a bed and two mattresses in the middle of my living room, meaning none of my house would be accessible. I was running on adrenaline when I moved what I could. Mom's bed and both mattresses were installed, and it's a good thing I have this nice, new mattress, because my doctor now has me on two weeks of bed rest, extra medications, and another round of physical therapy to try to keep this from making my disability worse.I called their customer service center and was approved for a 5% refund of my purchase, or a store gift card for an amount I didn't even wait to hear. I don't have a reason to go to this store again. It's up to you if you think you can risk something like this for that sort of refund. The furniture itself is fine. Some of the staff, however, are willing to lie to make their sales. If you're able-bodied, this shouldn't really be a problem for you. If you're not, well... Good luck.
Lauren is the best! She is knowledgeable about the products and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend asking for her the next time you’re shopping at Ashley! The store had a great selection too. My fiancé & I bought the majority of our furniture from there.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the Ashley Outlet. Upon our request for a dog-durable couch, Alex gave us a tour of their sectional sofas and provided comparisons with other fabrics, alternate pieces, and different orientations to fit our home. Alex also inquired about our mattress, and we allowed her to show us the in-stock options. We ordered the mattress that best suited our specifications, and we will receive it within the next few days. She answered all of our questions and told us about the warranty options for both the couch and the mattress, and we left with great satisfaction in our purchases.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I purchased a couch and dining room table in 2021. We also purchased the 5 year protection plan, which we were told would cover everything from scratches to holes and stains. When I went to use the protection plan for the table due to scratches and the couch because the cushions were breaking down I was told I couldn’t use it because my table had more than 4 scratches (it had 5) and the cushions were not covered because it was more than one. So obviously the protection plan is a waste of $500. I cancelled the protection plan over 6 months ago and I am still waiting for my refund. I’ve been told close to 10 times that I would be receiving my refund or I would get a call back and still nothing. Every time I call I get the same response. It’s like no one wants to just give me my money back even though I have a right to get it back. I was told by GBS protection plan that I would receive 100% of it back, as well as someone by Ashley Furniture but then I have also been told I will only receive a prorated amount back. Regardless, the issue is I haven’t gotten anything back and I continue to call and get the ring around. We have bought several furniture items from Ashley Furniture but after this, NEVER AGAIN. And I will never refer Ashley Furniture to anyone, or the protection plan for that matter

I asked him what his problem was and unprompted he angrily says "I am not paying for any damages". I informed him no one had said anything about any damages and he said "I am an independent contractor I don't answer to anyone". I had to put him out of the house and load the sofa and love seat in myself just to ensure things didn't escalate. If you want to pick up furniture yourself I guess Ashley is an option. If you want furniture delivered GO ANYWHERE ELSE THE PEOPLE THEY HIRE TO DELIVER ARE RUDE ANGRY THUGS. I don't like to leave reviews like this but I wish my mother had known what she was getting into before she ordered her furniture. I am just glad I was there to help her move things. I can't imagine what her experience would have been like if she was by herself with that unhinged guy.

Actually my visit to Ashley's was quite pleasant ☺️. Jenny was very easy to work with and was not high pressure sales. That's generally when I would just walk away. She was very patient with me as I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I am very happy with the results.

**EDIT** Going to revise my review a little, because today was a HUGE bummer. We got a 3 piece sectional, and we're SO excited because it was to be delivered on the 13th. Today, they deliver 1 part of my sectional, and tell me I have to wait 4 weeks for the other 2 pieces. Why deliver 1/3 of a couch? Not to mention delivery drivers were rude, I wasted all morning moving things to help them get the "couch" in, because I was instructed to via email. They sat it outside, and then rudely said, well you carry it in, not us. I don't care to carry my one piece, of my 3 piece sectional in, but don't waste my time telling me I need to follow all of these steps for a delivery if they're only going to drop it off at my door, and tell me to deal with it myself. 3 stars is solely for the store staff at the Richmond facility, because so far the receiving of my furniture has been a nightmare. Great experience! They were super friendly to our kids as they tested out the couches and played pretend. Made getting our new sectional super easy, definitely plan on getting more furniture from them.

The customer service was great, as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and asked if we were looking for anything in specific or if we had questions. The managers ended up going out of their way to help deliver our dresser when we couldn’t get ahold of anyone to help us bring our dresser home. I was very impressed with the service we received!

We moved into a large house in June so we needed new furniture to fill the space. We ordered a bed and dresser on June 17th. We were told that delivery would be in 2 weeks. On the date it was to be delivered nothing arrived. My wife went back to the store where she was informed that the dresser wasn’t in stock so the delivery was on hold. There was no call to let us know or to ask if we wanted the bed delivered without the dresser. It was 2 days short of 4 weeks and the bed finally came. Twelve days later the dresser came. The total number of weeks for the dresser at this point is over 5. Opened the front of the box to remove the dresser only to find that every drawer on the right side was on top of each other. Every track on that side was pulled out of what I thought would be wood but it turned out to be particle board. So I spent over $1200 for something that if it were sold at Walmart would’ve been about 25% of the price. I immediately called and after a lengthy conversation I was told that they would call back within 48 hours. 48 hours later I got a call to schedule a service technician and was told that I would get another call within 72 hours. No call. My Mom got involved due to my work schedule and she called them again a week after that deadline passed. She was told that we would be called or messaged within 3 hours. Another lie. She called again and was told the same thing. So we were sent a text asking for photos and we were told that the dresser would have to be replaced because it was not repairable. So I haven’t moved the dresser. It’s still sitting where it was dropped. It’s been sitting in my living room floor, directly in my front door for the last 4 or 5 weeks. I’ve honestly lost count of how long it’s been there. I’m glad this is all that I bought from Ashley. I bought my living room furniture and new mattress for my bed from Furniture World. They were ready to deliver before I even got moved and they would call just to touch base on the delivery date that had been scheduled. I got a piece of furniture from Sim’s and it was way cheaper and made out of real wood. I picked it up as soon as I paid for it. Ashley Furniture has give me the run around on overpriced furniture that we’re going to be lucky to get 3-4 years of use out of. Customer service for this company is terrible. I will NEVER buy from them again. I’m still waiting and if I’m lucky they might get it delivered in a shade under 60 days. Unfortunately I have to give them 1 star when they deserve a review with negative 15 stars.

The staff seemed very nice. Unfortunately, when it came time to purchase the furniture, the price was higher than expected. This would’ve been fine, except the people working with us did not show the price breakdown. We asked them to remove a rug from our order, but they insisted it was already shipped (before we had paid). I asked multiple times for them to remove the warrantee to lower the overall cost of our item. The only way we could get the couch we wanted in our price range was by opting out of buying the included ottoman. Instead, we got stuck with a rug AND warrantee for both sections of the sofa I asked them to remove. Said warrantee would have covered the price of the ottoman if the staff had removed it, like I asked. I won’t be shopping here again until they are more transparent with their prices before I sign a contract.

Our experience has been awful. Be very cautious shopping here, especially for unassembled pieces. When we unboxed our desk today after delivery yesterday, we found that it was completely busted. The store will not help and just gave us a Louisville warehouse number to call. Several calls to different numbers have led to no fix at all. They cannot give us a refund, a replacement, or send us parts (told the part is too big to replace). We kept getting sent in circles. $300 and a lot of time wasted.

The worst place to buy from. They skipped my delivery 2 times. They had wrong contact information on file. The store never picks up the phone. They do not care about you period. They don’t offer to make the situation better or anything. Completely horrified by this experience overall. They didn’t even tell me I’d need a box spring when they Knew I was upgrading to a king. When you go to the store they sit on a computer and ignore you forcing you to hunt them down! Just for them to be rude and unhelpful and uncaring. I could Go on and on. I wouldnt Even get one star honestly.

IF I could give this 0 stars I would. We bought a brand new home and decided on a sectional from Ashley outlet of Richmond, we paid for the “white glove” delivery which is suppose to include delivery, setup and trash take away. Well they used a contracted company to deliver out furniture, these men didn’t speak 1 word of English EXCEPT “No English” and every time we tried to talk to them they threw their hands up and said “no English” so they threw the couch down took a picture, made a hole in our new vinyl flooring and basically ran out the door. We later found out, one of the cushions was missing as we were putting it together! After staying on the phone for HOURS trying to talk to someone besides a call center to fix our issues we had to drive 45 minutes to the store. After waiting close to a month to get the sectional itself now we have to wait even longer for the cushion to actually sit on it. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go somewhere else.

Low quality furniture!
I dealt with Jenny Johnson. She was WONDERFUL. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. No high pressure, just good customer service. BUT after the furniture arrives at your house, the sales people at the store can do nothing to help you. My couch arrived with damage. Customer service after that point STINKS!!! There is no way to get a real person on the phone and you are just left wondering if anybody knows or is going to help you. I have more furniture arriving before the end of the month. I am seriously considering canceling the whole thing.
I will never purchase anything from Ashley’s again. Under warranty, in the first year, I’ve had 3 covers for the sectional replaced and the recliner repaired twice. Which means someone has to come to my house and take the recliner apart and reupholster it. It’s so thin and cheap it just keeps tearing. The repair guy said he fixes nothing but brand new furniture as the quality has gone way downhill. I paid 3k for a recliner and sectional that is unbelievably cheap made. You definitely do not “get what you paid for” at Ashely’s Furniture.

Came in to look at coffee tables and end tables, found a set that we liked. Coffee table was priced at $649.99 and end tables were priced at $279.99 a piece (we were buying 2). We then found out that we were forced to pay for delivery to our home even though I have a capable truck. Was originally told the delivery fee was $159 but when we obviously weren't interested in that, only then were we told that was for white-glove and there was a lower drop-off only delivery for $99. All-in-all, it was around $1380 total after tax and delivery. We decided not to purchase. When I got home, I looked up the same exact set on Ashely Furniture's website and found that not only was the coffee table cheaper at $599.99, but the end tables were also cheaper at $249.99. Not only that, but shipping is free online. And to add the final nail in the coffin, you can put any working email address into their newsletter signup and get another $100 off any $750+ purchase. So at the end of the day, I walked on the $1380 from a supposed "outlet" store and purchased from their website for $1059. It has even already shipped and I've been given a delivery date of one day earlier than the store told me I could get it. If anybody reading this goes into this outlet store and finds something they want, compare prices online, it may save you hundreds of dollars.
The employees were friendly and found me exactly what I was looking for. My only issue is the entrance from the rest of the mall is barricaded with a wall. I have attempted to swing into this store a couple times during the past 6 months but was inside the mall and didn’t want to be exposed to the elements (rain and snow) to look for the furniture that I needed at the time. I wish the entrance leading to the mall was open more than likely I would have purchased many more items from Ashley’s.

The employees at the store were great. I was told that my items would be delivered in the middle of this month. The delivery has been awful and has not happened as promised. I missed a call from the delivery people, today, while I was at work. The voice mail that was left stated to call them to arrange delivery. I called them back less than 30 minutes later and have been told that my items are now on backorder because they used my order to fill an order for another customer! This is VERY POOR customer service and highly unprofessional. If I could rate this experience with less than one star, I would give zero stars. If they make this right and deliver my stuff, I will consider coming to edit my review. UPDATE: This business never did fill my order. I ended up canceling completely and shopping elsewhere. I will never step foot into another Ashley Furniture store ever again.

My brand new bed has slats that are so cheap they all broke a month ago. I've called to reorder a month ago and was told they would be shipped in 7-10 days. I never received them and when I called customer service they don't have my order. I called the store in Richmond KY where I purchased it. I requested to exchange the bed but they wouldn't do that. They said they would only send replacement slats which are going to break again because they are so thin and cheap. The manager said if they break again he would have to replace the entire bedroom set because it has been discontinued. In the meantime, we have been sleeping on a broken bed with a sunken mattress for a month. Still waiting for replacement slats. And the probability that they will break is high so we will again have to sleep on a broken bed and go through this situation again. Not going to buy anything from Ashley again. The solution to this situation was not acceptable.
Probably one of the worst experiences that I've ever had as a customer. We ordered a bedroom set from this store. Everything was delivered and assembled except for the roll slats for the bed. You think that would be a simple fix... but no. We are going on week three of sleeping on the floor because no one seems to know how to get the rail slats. We have visited the store MULTIPLE times with no help. They actually told me to drive two hours to Ikea and buy a set of slats from them! We drove to the store in Lexington where we were given the WRONG slats. I have called daily and am told something different every, single day. When you call, you are sent to their outsourced customer service reps that have absolutely NO CLUE what is going on. We were told last week that the rails slats were being shipped and would arrive this week. When I called this week to follow up, they had no knowledge of us even needing rail slats. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. I would NEVER recommend Ashley to anyone. I will actively make sure to tell people to not shop there. They literally could not care less abut their customers, but you better believe they took the money! Just don't do it. Go ANYWHERE else.

My sales lady Jenny was FANTASTIC!! store was nice and clean, however there was two other salesman working the floor were a bit rude. Asking if one stunk. The other fired off saying no. Implying that i was stinky. I did make my purchase and left. But I was left not feeling so great.

Ashley has beautiful showrooms of furniture. Their sofa all have pillows on them, I didn't know the pillows were not for sale and didn't come with sofa. This was very deceiving to me. Was very disappointed.

I bought a bedroom suite from Ashley back on 6/23 and was told it was going to come in 4 weeks and which it didnt come 8/23. Upon arrival it was damage done to the bed draws where not put on track sent a technician out to basically color in the scratches. Told I was going to receive a new bed and they only come out 3 times with a foot board and then say we have to order the bed again which can take another 3 week. Meanwhile they keep calling me to set up delivery but when they come they dont have the right pieces. Then was told on serval occasions that someone was going to call me back to make the matter right. Needless to say it is 10/12/22 and have yet still spoken with anyone. At this point Ashley can come and pick this bed back up. Mean while waiting on line i get hung up on several times. Even went to the store and they couldnt get the job done atp they can have this bed back and i would never buy anything again from Ashley Funiture.. #clowns P.S. There customer service sucks really bad.

FOR THE LOVE IF GOD AND FOR YOUR SANITY PLEASE DO BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. The absolute worst customer service. Delivery was cancelled 3 times. Fourth time it was delivered with mattress in box, which I was told I wasn’t purchasing a mattress in a box). Then after paying for white glove delivery the delivery guys told me they were only to drop my items off in the box. I refused delivery because it was wrong mattress and they refused to put adjustable bed together. I had so much trouble the manager volunteered to refund delivery fee plus $50. That was 7/21. It’s 8/10. I’ve contacted salesman 3 times and I still don’t have refund. Drove 35 miles to go to store. Some lady told me she was the manager but salesman told me manager was off today. She said she was just told yesterday and she sent refund. I asked her to print me proof and she refused. I asked her to call someone she refused. I told her I was trying to be nice instead of being a b&$#@ and she told me I was being a b&$#@. I just walked out. This is pathetic service. Owners need to do something. Look at the Facebook reviews and see people having same issues with this store. WARNING!!!!The main company was great but the store where items were purchased lied to me 4 times in order to make a sale it seems. Tried to tell me I couldn’t get my money back on furniture so, the main company gave me a refund on the furniture and I kept the tables and went elsewhere to purchase the furniture. Because of local store in Richmond I will not purchase anymore from company. When the tables came after 20 weeks of waiting which I was told 12 weeks( thanks to the local store in Richmond KY) when I looked over the tables there were numerous flaws that were in the workmanship and also some scraps from the delivery and after waiting 20 weeks and numerous lies from the store managers(2) different ones, we decided not to return the tables and have to wait another 20 weeks to get the same tables back on prob the same shape so, we just cut ties for the lose and will never buy again from Ashley. Also the delivery people that delivered the tables for Ashley smelled like an ashtray. They stunk! We smelled the smoke from their clothes for another day! Never again will I buy or even visit the store and have blocked from any emails.

They have a wide variety of storage buildings. They come in many different colors and styles. You can also order one if they don't have what you want. The sales people are really nice, and helpful. I found what I was looking for.
Do not buy from them! I have bought many pieces and sets of furniture from Ashley over the years. This will be my last. Three times they were supposed to deliver and never came or communicated to me to reschedule. Took off work and lost wages. Manager will not return phone calls. Supposed to credit my account for my troubles and have yet to do so.
The buying experience at Ashley was quick and easy. I knew what I wanted and the salesperson was helpful in getting the best deal. The problems arose when the furniture was supposed to be delivered. I ordered in December and was told an approx delivery date of March. It is now July as I write this and out of the 6 tables and 1 dining table I ordered only the chairs have been delivered. I have called and visited the store multiple times to be told that my delivery date was pushed back again and again. Later in June they told me the chairs could be delivered and scheduled a delivery of June 14. A day prior to delivery they called and canceled my delivery. I called again June 30 and they told me the chairs were in stock and could be scheduled for delivery as soon as July 5, so I agreed to that. FINALLY my chairs were delivered today. My table is still MIA but after 8 months I have finally got part of my order. I had to go to the store and the third time they finally explained that the order was supposed to be fulfilled as one package and while the chairs had been in and out of stock as well as the table, they had never been in stock at the same time so they couldn’t be delivered. I told them to separate the orders and deliver them separately, which they did. Manage my table will finally arrive soon but I’m not holding my breath. It’s okay to have items back ordered for 8 months but don’t string customers along and mislead them about when they will get their furniture. Not cool.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was they told me I could come get the things I purchased last night or today, but it says they are closed & no one's answering the phone. I m gonna ride by there anyways cause I don't see why they'd tell me I could come get it today if they aren't there?!?

They use your typical sales tactics and fail to fullfill their promises. Delivers are not on time or even close. They will charge your account months before they deliver your products and want to charge you a restocking fee for something that they have not delivered!! My advice is to stay away and shop elsewhere!!!!!!!!

I ordered a Sofa late last year and was given a time frame that has continually been pushed back. I was reassured two weeks ago that it would be available for delivery late this month and after speaking with them on the phone to see if that was still correct today I was informed that it was on manufacture back order and they had no idea when it would be in. Why would it be available to purchase if it’s not available?? Months without furniture wasted because they didn’t just tell me I can’t get it. If you want to receive your couch almost a year after ordering it then this is the perfect place for you. If not I suggest going somewhere else.

Wish I could give it negative stars. Worst furniture experience I’ve ever had. I purchased a whole bedroom suite from Ashely and have had 3 separate deliveries and replacements and still the furniture isn’t correct, the delivery drivers stained our rug banged up the walls. After giving them a third chance to make it right I finally when to talk to the store manager and he offered to either keep sending furniture out and disrupt our schedules until we get the furniture that is correct or we just keep the messed up furniture we have now and get a refund on our delivery fee, which is nothing compared to what we paid to get what was supposed to be the best furniture. Highly unsatisfied and want to just return the junk furniture, get a full refund and go get decent furniture somewhere else.
Nice lady with no pressure on us. Came and checked on us maybe twice but she gave us a card and said I'm around if needed. I love that. If I wanted someone to hang all over me while I shop. I would have went to a car dealership. A little space and let the customer look. If I have a question. I know your name. Love her low sell tactics. As soon as you walk in the door you are JUMPED by salesmen. Then again after walking maybe 15 ft then again in the back of the store. Let a person freaking look without feeling hounded. While trying to look and take pictures to ask questions about what I found that I liked and then was told it could be up to 20 weeks. I offered to buy the floor model and was told that 8 couldn't. I suggested to my friend that we run to Big Lots, as they sell Ashley brand furniture and the salesman actually rolled his eyes. I understand there are "shipping issues " at this time and I know that I suggested another store but I still wanted Ashley furniture....so totally shocked at the reaction of the salesman. I will not be back to Ashley not that it will hurt their sales but I had enough cash to buy 3 of those sofas on hand and I wouldn't dare buy something where a salesman rolls his eyes at me.
The staff treated me very well and were most helpful. Found just what I wanted for a very reasonable price. Delivery was great, the gentlemen were courteous and professional. The furniture has been very solid and beautiful in my home so I came back for more! It’s hard to beat the prices and quality at Ashley!

I'm on hold with Customer Service yet again to listen to the loop about how Ashley HomeStore has their own fleet, and own manufacturing etc etc etc. While I waited for 9 weeks for delivery of half of my order - that was paid in full - I've contacted the Customer Service department now for the 3rd time to get someone to look at the recliner that doesn't recline.......... Ashley HomeStore you can come get it and give me my money back.
Order a desk online that was in stock according to the website. A few days later I received a box that had been opened and retaped. Some hardware was missing ,they had tape the box so poorly that it pulled the finish off in spots on the desk. I then realized that only part of the desk had shipped. I called the next day , waited for a very long time to get hung up on twice. I was told it might be shipping in a few weeks. I understand product shortages and labor shortages , but not a customer service shortage. Extremely disappointed in this entire experience.

I have had the worst experience with Ashley. I ordered bedroom furniture in May. Was told it would be 4-6 weeks, but when that day came and went without any notifications, I called. Was then given a date of August 24. Again, the date passed, called back. Date for everything to be in the warehouse was August 26. Yet again, that date passed and I called back to hear that everything was in but the headboard, which wouldn’t be ready until November 5th. That’s almost 6 months from when it was purchased. I called again to see if it could be assembled without the headboard, as I have been sleeping on my mattress on the floor, and after being on hold for a while, was hung up on. Then tried the messaging option on their website, the chat closed before allowing my questions. I am beyond frustrated with this place. I just want communication about what is happening. I understand that Covid has delayed many things, but communicating dates and delays with customers who have already paid should be happening. I will not purchasing from this store again. If anything positive changes, I will edit my recommendation.

Just bought living room set from Raven Ford, we had to wait 6 weeks for the furniture only to find out when it was delivered pieces are missing. The delivery guy said nothing just unloaded furniture and left. I have been trying to contact the salesperson however every time I call the stores phone number it goes to a call center. I am furious and not impressed by the lack of professionalism during this process. No one, not even our salesperson called to let us know our order would not be complete nor has anyone.

As we walked in the store a man greeted us told us there was a Store Wide 30% off today, even gave us a flyer that stated the same thing. Only after we picked at a bed and mattress we was told it did not apply to bed and mattresses. I was nice and said will your flyer does not say exclude bed and mattresses and you said store wide when we came in. He said that was just the way the sale was, so they missed out on a 5,000.00 sale for false advertising in their store. We came to sleep outfitters got the same thing without 30% off for 2000.00 cheaper.

1 star as I’m being generous. This has been the worst experience and my issue is still not resolved. I ordered a sectional in April and was given a 4-6 week waiting window. Here I am writing a review on 7/7 as I have yet to receive my full order. After I FINALLY received a delivery date on 6/25 the guys show up with the WRONG pieces to my sectional. They quickly reassure me that they would get it remedied and have my complete order to me by 6/30 and I’m still waiting. I’ve not received a phone call with an update or anything. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTING!!! Do better Ashley Furniture!!!!

Delivery service is a fiasco and communication is extremely poor. After many failed attempts to schedule delivery at a time when I can be available I was finally able to confirm a date and time that I could make work. I completely rearranged my schedule to accommodate this date and time as it was the only possible delivery date I could make work within the next 30 days. After confirming this date and time I received an email/text the following day changing my delivery time to a frame in which I cannot be available. This was done without my consent beforehand. Customer service states they cannot do anything to correct the issue or help accommodate delivery. The local store cannot do anything and there is no way to contact the delivery service directly. Multiple tickets have been made to address this issue and all have been left unanswered and unresolved. Ashley makes zero attempts to assist their customers and really go above and beyond at making their customers feel unappreciated and unwanted. Thousands of dollars, weeks waited, and in the end I will likely have to cancel this order for a complete refund. I will never return to Ashley Homestore at any location based upon this experience. I contacted my closest Ashley Store in Richmond KY to possibly purchase outdoor furniture a friend had me ordering. Adding it was very to closing time. I received quick assistance from Raven. Very informative about process and followed up to make sure email had been received. Easiest purchase ever. Now waiting on delivery. When they will put together and take away the trash. Never left comfort of home. That’s the way to treat customers. . ⭐️

I’m writing to anyone out there that wants to purchase furniture from Ashley’s! They have horrible customer service. I bought table and chairs in September of 2020! It is April 2021. They are still unable to tell me when my chairs will be delivered! I have a table with no chairs for six months. They will sale you furniture and tell you that in the future you will get you furniture. No one will give you any answers. I called corporate and waited 15 minutes and was the. Sent to voicemail. After a week they called and said to call them. Again waiting 15 minutes got a representative who was unable to help. The connection was horrible and hung up on me. Called back again the representative was no help and asked to speak to a manager above her. He then told me that there is nothing he can do except tell me that maybe in the near future I will get these chairs! I told him I wanted to speak above him and he told me no one can help me! And hung up! I am so frustrated. I have purchased from Macy’s and Burke’s furniture and there quality is amazing and very honest people! Do not waste your time or money on Ashley’s furniture! There quality is horrible and customer service is worse!

We went into the Richmond store location this morning in hopes to find a sectional that we loved. Audura was the sales woman who helped us and she was fantastic! Answered all of our questions, didn't sugar coat the approximate wait time due to covid, and has given us many resources to reach out to as we await our new sectional! We couldnt have walked out happier given the covid restrictions. Thank you for all you help! Highly recommend!!
1 star isn't low enough, horrible experience from start to finish. Ordered 1/1/21 and told 8-10 weeks. Cancelled order on 3/22/21 after being told it would be another 4-6 weeks. Refund still not received on 4/2/21. Now being told that a ticket will have to be created and sent over to the finance dept. They had no problem taking my money, but definitely are dragging their feet returning it. I would avoid using this store. You are better off finding another alternative. As a side note, ordered from Fitzpatricks on 3/23/21 and was delivered on 3/25/21. Here it is, 4.6.2021 and I am still waiting on my refund.

Would not recommend. I ordered a sectional and ottoman sometime in January. The lady gave me an estimated wait of about 4 weeks, and sure I figured it may take a little longer, no more than 6 weeks surely. Well I call them about 3 weeks later to get an update, and they say one piece still hasn’t arrived, it’d be about a week. Okay that’s fine. Well now, 2 weeks later, call back to see and am informed that they only have half the sectional, and the other half, plus the ottoman won’t arrive until sometime in may, or maybe later... I’m sorry but that’s a heck of a lot longer than 4 weeks. Try 4 months... extremely disappointed, and I’m considering just canceling the order, But then I would have to repeat the process elsewhere. Great job Ashley Furniture , five stars....
Me and my mother came into the store looking to get her a better mattress, and when we asked to speak with a manager to get more details on the inventory, Bryant Cotten, was the most rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with. Highly do not recommend this business to anybody!

Downside was how long it took to arrive due to Covid, and issue with one piece...2 stars (being generous here) for service department as I was told 4 different things each time I called!! Too exhausting to repeat here, now I'm waiting on part and need to call again once it arrives!!
Great service at the store - Mattress arrived quickly - Best mattress me and my dogs have ever slept on. Note: Even though this mattress isn't "top of the line", it's still of excellent quality. However - for the money these things cost nowadays, it wouldn't hurt them to throw in a mattress protector - but i found a very nice and inexpensive one on Amazon.

On September 11, 2020 we bought furniture at the Richmond location . Our seller was Rebecca White. First off, She had told us once we Received ALL our items we wouldn’t receive a payment for three months after. Today it’s January 12,2021 (4 months later), we still haven’t received all of our furniture and have already made 2 payments. As you can tell here she was just lying to get sells. I went in to the Richmond store regarding this matter and nothing was done about it all I was told was “I was given false information”. well this is your employee given false information to your customers. Second off, yesterday I received and email regarding delivery for today January 12, 2021, so I accept the delivery. The delivery truck backs up into my driveway, sits there for a few minutes, and then just leaves WITHOUT AND EXPLANATION. So I had to call, and was told “they forgot to load the table in the truck when they were at the warehouse”. I took off of work today because of this reason, and they couldn’t fix THEIR MISTAKE and have it delivered to me today. I even told them it doesn’t matter what time it gets to me. And all they said was they will have to reschedule. I am beyond furious with this place and will never buy another item from them.
Terrible customer service and had to wait months for our furniture. After months of waiting the ottoman broke down in first 2 days then it took over a month to report it plus months to find out they couldnt replace it. Will never shop here again.
My husband and I had been looking for a new couch for almost a year due to Covid. We finally decided to head over to Richmond from Lancaster for Ashley Furnitures Black Friday sale, and I’m so happy that we did! We were greeted by Audra, who has taken care of us the entire time until our beautiful couch arrived on Tuesday, December 30th. The original estimated date was December 19th, so it was only 10 days later that it arrived. The guys delivering did a superb job as well.! We purchased the Alesandra couch. I have never owned a more comfortable, beautiful couch for such an affordable price. It is the perfect choice and exactly what I was looking for. Audra has excellent customer service skills and that is one of the best qualities to have as a sales associate. She always got back with me the same day that I reached out to her and gave me specific details on what to do and what to expect about my order. We will definitely shop at Ashley, Richmond, KY again! Buddy was so nice and helped us greatly. The store was nice and set up well. Everyone was friendly. They treated my 3 year old daughter with love. Such a great experience. They even helped us load up 2 vehicles with the new kitchen table and chairs we bought. Will use them again.
Yesterday I went in search for a new couch, as I walked in i was greeted asap by Mrs Rebecca and was informed of the sales going on and then was left to look at my own speed( no pressure ) love it! I found a few items I was interested in so Mrs Rebecca took the time to hear my concerns and advise me towards the best couch for me and my giant dog! (He's spoiled) after about a hr of talking and advising me I selected and purchased my new couch! Thanks For the conversation & the couch! Fantastic group of people!

My fiance and I went to Ashley looking for a bedroom suit and a kitchen table and ordered those items as well as a mattress, pillows and a coffee table. Audra was very attentive to us the whole visit and made us feel welcome without being pushy. She helped us weigh our options and choose what was best for our needs and nothing more. Her knowledge of the items in the store was amazing, I felt like I could ask her about anything and she would have the answers. When we got home and noticed the size of our bed set was wrong, they had it fixed within hours and saved us money in the process. However, the experience with delivery and the time delay/quality really brought this score down. We ended up getting a mattress elsewhere because ours was on back order all of a sudden. Almost everything we ordered arrived scratched and I’m just disappointed. It all looks and sounds great in the store but it goes downhill from there.
I ordered back in October and have not only not gotten my furniture yet. I called and got told all they are waiting on is the rails for the bed frame. THE RAILS. Two freaking wooden slats. I am not like these other people waiting months and months and I tried calling again but cannot get ahold of anyone and when I do I get told I’ll get called back by someone higher up. So here’s how this is going to go, you all can give me a call back OR I can come down there and cause a scene 😉 which do you prefer?? And DONT think you can remove this because I WILL go to Facebook and start a whole new list of complaints.
I bought a couch and loveseat from them three months ago. I was informed approximately 6-8 for manufacturing and delivery, with the possibility of a few weeks delay due to covid. I have never gotten any text updates on the progress like I was told I would. I have had to call them for updates, waiting on hold for over an hour at times. I was told two weeks ago when I called them my estimated delivery date was December 7, which had been moved up from the December 30th date I had gotten a few weeks before. I still got no text updates. I got no text or calls about delivery times or dates. So today I call again to check the status. They are now telling me March on one of pieces and February on the other. If I could give them zero stars I would. There should be absolutely no reason a completion date should move up and then be pushed back three months. Just buy somewhere else. I should have.

Was greeted by a young lady with a nice smile. She was not pushy but she offered her assistance if we needed her. After looking at all the choices of dinning sets. We of course had plenty of questions. The sales lady answered all of our questions. She also offered her advice on the easiest and cheapest way to make our purchases. Now all I have to do is be patient while I wait for my beautiful table and chairs to arrive at my door.
Friendly staff, but we were promised our furniture be delivered 6-8 weeks after ordering. Today, we were told it wouldn’t arrive until January—we ordered late August!!! We are paying monthly on furniture we will not get until months later!! Absolutely crazy.

The staff at this particular location was very nice and helpful when we ordered a bedroom set, kitchen table and chairs, and coffee table way back in July. Even after the sales associated wrote our order wrong it was fixed and they barely charged extra for the difference. The problems came after that, we were told it would take longer than usual for delivery due to covid, 2 after 6 weeks we had not heard a word about our delivery, I sat on hold for 45 minutes with their customer service team to tell me they were waiting on the kitchen table and chairs. The next day the sales associate called to inform me that they only thing they were waiting on was the mattress and that they could do a partial delivery (Now I'm confused) I told her the customer service told me a different status, she was supposed to call me back with the answer (Its been 3 weeks now) I agreed to partial delivery, and it was set up for the following Wednesday, On Monday I received a email and text confirming the delivery of ALL items. On Tuesday I received a phone call explaining that my mattress was on back order and it would be another 4 weeks before it could be in now. So I went to the store and spoke to the sales manager who said it was odd that the mattress was holding up an order, then proceeded to explain that the warehouse would take from someone's order that wasn't complete to complete another persons order faster regardless of the order date. (WHY WOULD YOU TELL A CUSTOMER THAT?) He then stated that he would try to steal someone else's mattress for me.... Then comes Delivery Day! The delivery people showed up early! A+ for effort, they then explained that the lamps for my LED headboard were missing and would come at a later date. (I'm confused) I noticed after they sat the coffee table down it had a scratch on the edge of it, the took pictures and said someone would call me within the hour from the warehouse (Its been 2 weeks no one called) After they left I moved the bed frame since they didn't center it on the wall and did not push it all the way against the wall either.. SUPRISE! the LED for the headboard is there, they just didn't plug it in...OH they didn't put the hard ware on the end tables! OH THERE ARE SCRATCHES ALL OVER THE HEADBOARD AND FOOTBOARD! So I called the store, the referred me to the customer service line, I had to sit on hold for another 40 minutes... At this point I'm steamed I did not just pay $4500 for scratched furniture.. All they can do is schedule a technician to come up on look at it... It took 2 days for the tech service to call and schedule a time (Which is 2 weeks away) to come out and look at this mess.. We cancelled the mattress since it was going to be another month, went to Sleep Outfitters found a comparable mattress and it was there in less than 72 hours. and $100 cheaper All they did was paint the scratches and you can still see where the damage was done.. He did order 2 new drawers since they couldn't be fixed. (Who knows when they will comes in) I'm not happy, I did not spend this much money for damaged furniture. It's a shame that I now have a line of credit that won't ever be used. I won't order from Ashley again.

While the store is understaffed, they made every effort to provide good customer service. Manager worked with me on an order to get me what I needed. Would definitely go back.

I always have the best experience at Ashley HomeStore. For instance, I walked in today with buying a bed in mind. Not sure what color, type, wood, iron, etc. A young man approached, Buddy is his name, nice & very well versed on every item in Ashley HomeStore. I told Buddy what size I wanted, queen size and it didn't matter what type of material it was made of because my budget was extremely tight. I just needed a bed and no accessories and off we went. Back to the sale items to something that caught my eye before we ever got to it. It was this gorgeous white leather queen size bed frame. When we finally arrived at the back Buddy said we have this "As Is". What's a few nicks & missing screws. I feel in love with the white leather bed. To the front we went & it is now mine, all mine. I just wanted to brag on Ashley Furniture Store in Richmond, KY. Yesterday, I rented a duplex and I am in need of furniture to furnish my place. My daughter and I stopped in at Ashley Furniture in Richmond, KY to look around and get ideas. The manager of the store quickly greeted us and asked if he could help us. After he found out we were just looking he told us if we needed anything to let him know. We browsed around the store for a very long time asking questions as we needed to or wanted to. Finally, I made up my mind about pieces of furniture that I wanted so we got the manager and he patiently and speedily made a list of the furniture I wanted and gave me a total price. I saved a huge amount of money by choosing the cash option to buy! Not only that but I have 6 months to pay in full with no interest! I also financed a new mattress and box springs! I highly recommend Ashley Furniture in Richmond, KY for all of your furniture and mattress needs! All of the staff are friendly, courteous, patient and have great prices!

I have never experienced such horrible customer service and discrimination in our area than during my 1st trip to this store. I can't wear a mask due to current health conditions and I have a service dog with me. Upon entering the store, I was asked if I had one, which is ok, I told them I couldn't wear one because of health conditions. The man asked me what were my health conditions. I just looked at him sternly because they are not allowed by law to ask. He then ignored me and went to the next customer. I walked around the store for 30 minutes watching as not only the same salesman but all of the other employees ignored me and helped everyone else there. Nothing was ever said to me as to why or even that they wouldn't help me without a mask. Literally the ONLY communication we had was what was mentioned in the beginning of the post. We recently bought a new home and had been researching online the items we wanted below going into the store. I walked out without anything and will not be going back.

Superb customer service. I told Buddy what I was looking for (color, style, price, etc) and within 20 mins I had purchased exactly what I needed. He took my needs and wants into consideration and presented me with several options. He was very informative about warranties and the overall structure of the pieces I purchased. AND to top it off, they taking all the extra precautions/protocols to insure the health and safety of their customers (due to COVID). I am very happy with the overall experience at this location.
I have been trying to call the Richmond, K.Y. store for the past 20 minutes to get a hold of a person who can help answer questions and make adjustments to my upcoming delivery time/date, but nobody will pick up the phone. It's 11:44 on a Wednesday and they are definitely open or supposed to be anyway. So, since I could not get a hold of a person by calling the store, I tried to use the online chat tool, the bot said it would connect me to an agent but apparently there wasn't an agent available to connect me to because nobody ever responded. Can't blame Covid-19 for this one because this Ashley Store had no problem connecting me with a sales person and taking my money when I made this purchase a couple weeks ago (during the height of the quarantine, retail has since got the ok to reopen with caution- this Ashley Store remained open "by appointment only" the whole time anyway). Hire more competent people please. This is extremely poor business practice and terrible customer service!

Didn't have what I really wanted/needed. A leather couch...why, I have 4 rescue dogs and they don't go well with overpriced cloth ,easy to get nasty furniture...ah well searched and found my perfect leather couch with a saving of over $500.00...which in turn bought my end tables!

We purchased a new sofa and furniture protection package. He got us the best deal, they have price matching so we could buy local and support our town and feel confident on who to call if we needed help, unlike buying online. They have a very nice selection any can order different selections for you. We special ordered and it is set to arrive in 4 weeks. Will let you know more at that time. A very good experience so far.
Had a really good experience here with Buddy the associate sales manager. He is very professional, friendly without being pushy and very helpful. We prefer to buy local when we can and they are known for quality. They didn't have the model of sofa we wanted but they ordered it for us and will deliver in 4 weeks. Pretty good for special order. They price match and offer furniture protection at a reasonable price. The only reason I didn't rate them five stars is that I will update after receiving our purchase. So stayed tuned!
I purchased a reclining couch and loveseat set not even a year ago, and not a few months in the back of the clutch broke... fixed with a bracket and some wood glue it never really felt right after that. Now the couches reclining mech. Is broken and I've been waiting a month and a half only to find out I will have to wait another month for someone to come and fix it. Why am I paying for broken furniture?
I have never been so disappointed with furniture in my life. the couch I bought has torn up twice since it was purchased just last year in March. the mattress is garbage, it doesn't hold up like it says and when we called about the warranty we are PAYING for they keep brushing us off. we have been in the waiting process to have our couch fixed for a month and a half. not to mention the visit was supposed to be today to fix it and was cancelled, now we have to wait another MONTH before someone will come to repair it. I will go elsewhere next time and will not recommend this store.
Great store layout, plenty to choose from, able to walk around and check everything out without a salesman following and pressuring a sale. As soon as we came through the door we were greeted by one of the best salesman I’ve ever dealt with by the name of Buddy. He instantly alerted us of all of the deals they had going on, and gave us a flyer with all of the rates. We told him we were looking for a specific collection, and within seconds we were looking at what we wanted. He let us take our time, and didn’t hassle us or ask us a million over bearing questions. Once we decided what we wanted, he pieced the deal together, and gave us plenty of options to choose from. We chose what we wanted and it was as simple as that. By far one of if not the easiest transactions that I’ve ever had with a business! If you’re in the market for new furniture, I’d highly recommend you check them out! It was EFFORTLESS!

I ordered a sectional couch on November 27th, it was scheduled for delivery on December 26th, and I still don’t have a complete set of furniture that I paid very good money for. Since purchasing the couch, I ran into so many issues. I tried to purchase the protection plan they offered and was told I could do this as long as it was before the couch was delivered. I went to the store on December 23rd and tried purchasing it but was told there was 72 hr time frame prior to delivery that it had to be added before then (not what I was told). The girl pretty much told me tough luck and there was nothing they could do. The couch got delivered on the 26th of December with half of it being broken. They left the correct piece and removed the broken one and set up a day for a new piece to be delivered. They also managed to put a nice large scratch in the floors of our brand new home. Fast forward to January 4th when the other half was suppose to be delivered... the couch came and I was told it was fine, but they sent a completely incorrect set of legs for it. So they left the couch sitting on the ground and told me they would ship the legs to me (3-5 days) and we could attach them when they arrived. Well, frustrated with everything that had happened we went to the store yesterday to talk to a manager and complain about the terrible time we have had. He pretty much told me that it wasn’t their fault and there wasn’t anything he could do. He called to check on the legs and found out that the order had never been submitted (had we not gone into the store we probably would have never gotten legs). He apologized and offered to refund me my $75 delivery charge.... that was all. Well the legs arrived today and I flip the couch over to discover the frame is broken. At this point, I’m furious. I call the store manager, he again, says he can’t do anything. So I call customer service twice and had an awful experience both times. They offered to send someone out to fix instead of sending me the brand new piece of furniture I paid for. When I asked to speak to whoever was head of the customer service department they forwarded me back to the main menu. After speaking to another service rep, she laughed at me when I told her and said that they don’t allow customers to speak to managers and I probably just sounded “too forceful” and that’s why the other person sent me back to main menu. This whole thing has honestly been a joke. With this being said, I highly recommend that you *DO NOT* shop at Ashley HomeStore.

Bought bedroom furniture on October 16,2019. It is now January and still no bedroom furniture. Stating now it will be February sometime. They didn’t tell me any of this until after the purchase and I waited and still waiting. I personally think the manager is arrogant and has the attitude of who cares you are waiting 6 months for furniture as long as he has a sale. Save yourself the trouble, if you find something at Ashley you like go buy it on Amazon. I bought tables that Ashley told me would take at least 8 weeks to get and got the same ones from Amazon in a week. Not to mention it was cheaper and you don’t have to pay Ashley’s ridiculous delivery fees either.

After having a terrible experience at my hometown Ashley store in Somerset, I called the Richmond store. Buddy took care of reordering my furniture with ease and made this experience much more pleasurable. Also assuring me of a delivery date where the other store there was no delivery date in sight after 8 weeks of waiting already.
We visited Ashley home store on Sunday, November 3. We were met by Pamela Walden who introduced us, my husband & I to the store. She told us to look around to see if we were interested in anything. After walking the entire store, we found & purchased a new sofa & a chest. We were pleased that we were not followed & hounded as we browsed. After finding what we wanted, it was easy to find Pamela &!complete the sale. We are definitely pleased with the service. We look forward to receiving our new purchases!
Sales people make all the difference even at the same brand store at different locations. Went to the Lexington location last Friday and just got the runaround. Was told one thing to begin with then that changed as we were starting the paper work so we walked out !!! Went to the Richmond store today and nothing but good honest help. We wasn’t run down lied to or hassled. When we didn’t see what we wanted we showed the sales rep the picture we took at the Lexington store of the leather living room suite we wanted so he pulled it rite up and still gave the discounts they were offering this weekend and 15 minutes later the financing was done and we were leaving. Or were we ? Nope such a good experience with them we decided to go on and look at new mattresses. Now we didn’t get the mattress today .... wife was totally wrong in her choice of softness and I was rite but anyways will discuss that further and go back in a few months when our living room suite is payed off.

I had a great experience while shopping at Ashley Furniture. They were very helpful and worked with us as much as possible. They had a good selection in the store and what they didn’t have there, they helped me find something similar to what I wanted online. I did have issues with the warehouse where the furniture came from because when my stuff arrived, it had multiple places on it where it had been scratched up. I’m not sure if that happened during delivery or if the stuff wasn’t handed carefully. Otherwise, great experience and I would shop there again for sure.

Ordered a beautiful couch! Had to wait over a month for it to be delivered.. Come the day it was to be delivered, no go! The driver must not know how to use google maps or answer his phone.. Was told it would be another few weeks to be delivered again. I'm now in the process of canceling my order as we speak.

Great place for great furniture
I would give zero stars if it was a possibility, but I'll settle for one. I was scheduled to have a TV stand delivered yesterday, that I'd been waiting for since Aug 16 might I add, but it never showed up. I received several texts during the day, saying the item was on the way, and even received one text that it was ten minutes from my house. Then. . . nothing. To make matters worse, my order has disappeared from the system, and no one in the entire Ashley organization seems to be interested in helping me track it down, despite numerous phone calls and emails to that end. So, I can promise you one thing. I will never, ever, buy a piece of furniture from this store again.

Generally I don't like giving bad reviews but this was the worst experience I've had making any type of transaction. The sales associate was breathing down our necks constantly and we initially left because of it but came back. You know it's poorly managed when you want to give a business your money and know exactly what you want and they find a way to screw it up. Went in today and told them exactly the 5 pieces of furniture I was purchasing. They couldn't figure out the price of the BOGO so I did the math for them. After doing 3 invoices and lord knows what for 80 mins the transaction never took place because they couldn't get the computer working. They said they would send me an email to complete the transaction but never received one. It must be a blessing in disguise because while the furniture is nice, the staff is beyond incompetent. They found a way to screw up the easiest transaction of the day and in the end I have no furniture and they lost out on $3G. One staff member who was the only competent one did try to help but ultimately it was too late. If you like long, drawn-out, painful, badgering, awkward transactions go here.

We have purchased rooms of furniture from Ashley in Richmond KY. Our Sales Associate Buddy Traber is AMAZING!!!! He is super patient (especially with me bc sometimes I'm just not sure). Buddy comes up with ideas to help me bc I'm visual (and that includes moving furniture around the store. Buddy feels more like our friend/family when we walk in the store (which has been often lately) and is never put out with us bc we are there so long. He works to get us the best deal possible. I'll always go back to Ashley, not only bc of the quality of furniture... but bc we love Buddy and his customer service!!!!

We came in a half hour before close (7:30) to find a mattress for our youngest son's new bed. He's pretty shy and the salesman saw that pretty quickly and was very good with him as we went through looking at different mattresses. By the end our son had warmed up to him and we were able to find something he liked. Great buying experience!

I have been searching for bedroom furniture for over a year. I found what i wanted at Ashley's. I went back and forth several trips to look at the suite and take measurements. I'm so very pleased with the patience and help i received from several employees. They were courteous not overbearing. When i had a question, they were knowledgeable able the items they sale. I havent had delivery yet but the puchasing process was lovely..

When we needed the help of the sales staff they were courteous and knowledgeable. Delivery of our new living room furniture was scheduled for the following week. So happy we went with Ashley.

Fantastic sales service, our salesman was very accommodating and cool. No show, no call on our delivery day. Now they are pushing us back one week. This might end with us canceling our entire 5k order after talking with an argumentative phone rep who had no power to right their wrongs. The Louisville warehouse may be at fault, but Ashley employees these people and are just as guilty. Follow up service is a D-. There are a number of reputable and honest furniture stores in the area.
The staff is very nice and helpful, especially Breanna. She was very patient and a joy to do business with. I purchased a bedroom suite last May and went in for a new couch yesterday. My only complaint would be the managers questionable taste in college basketball teams 😄.
I purchased this sofa after Thanksgiving. Will never buy anything power again. It is just too heavy! The guys that brought it t the house left it sitting a foot or two away from the wall. The description says 3 inches and I had said that to them at some point. My living room is small and I need as much space as possible. Anyway, the sofa does not line up. I contacted Ashleys after the holidays were over and my guest had left. Ashley said they would send an email out. I received a phone call and an email asking for pictures. So I sent pictures two weeks ago. Haven't heard from them since. The sofa is still out of alignment.

Ashley Home Store is close to my home which is a plus but it is a wonderful place to shop. We have bought many items from the Richmond KY store. The staff is always pleasant and ready to help.
