Phenomenal service! Carl went above and beyond explaining everything from the styles of furniture and pros/cons of each material, to the types of protection plans and delivery options. He made the transaction seamless but very detailed when it came to pricing. If you’re looking for solid furniture at good prices, go in stores or give them a call and ask for Carl. We just had our mattresses delivered, the delivery personnel were on time. They fixed the remotes, brought in the new mattresses and too away the old one. They were courteous and professional.

We ended up purchasing a new living room set with his expert guidance. We thought we would have to wait several weeks for our furniture, but we had it within a couple of weeks. Delivery went well and we are very happy with our choice.

Two stars is being merciful.Tge furniture is bland and way overpriced as well as overrated.I have built custom bookcases and made and help make a ton of custom made to order cherry furniture.My uncle and aunt owned the Cherry Shop for over 30 years.Now he made quality cherry furniture the old fashioned way.This gawdy and looks to me to be machine gun style mass produced cheap looking step above take home in a box and put together nonsense is not quality to say the least

Our salesperson was Brandon, and he did a phenomenal job helping us find new living room furniture! He was attentive to our needs and wants and showed us a variety of options.

I ordered a bed from the somerset location about a year ago, I paid half down on the bed in store and then made payments as I could until I was able to fully pay it off. Before I got to pay it off they called me in the summer last year and said my bed and everything was in and asked when I could pay off the remaining balance, I told them at that time i couldn't pay it fully, they said that was ok. Two months ago I paid it fully off.....to then get a call after a couple days saying the warehouse had "MISPLACED" my mattress and id have to come back and order a new one. I went and spoke with the manager, i told him how I would just like my money back since I was now going to have to wait for a new mattress, he explained to me he could order me one that was just like the one i originally ordered since they had already stopped making the mattress i wanted in the beginning and that he would most definitely have it here withing 2 weeks. I waited the two weeks they finally called me to tell me it was all in, I then drove to the somerset warehouse loaded my bed and brought it home. Once here I began putting it together only for me to be missing hardware for the head and foot boards. I called back again they said the warehouse would have the parts I need. I drove up there again, they gave me a bag of hardware, which I got to looking at it and was the same hardware I had already used on the rails. Luckily I looked at it before we left. I told them the problem they then got to looking at my order to find out they sent me thr wrong rails. He said they were in the warehouse still so he went looking for them. He finally found them after about 40 mins of searching, only to tell me there was a manufacturing defect and that's why they gave me the wrong rails, but he could have the correct ones for me in two weeks, again. This was our first time dealing with ashley, but I can absolutely say for sure it will be the last time we deal with them. Sincerely, One very unhappy customer.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! If it was possible to give a negative star rating I would. Do not buy the protection plan that they tell you will cover any damages that happen to the furniture. They will NOT fulfill the agreement. We spent thousands of dollars at this store in just the past few months and regret it. We will NEVER buy anything else from them and will tell everyone else to do the same. Pitiful customer service and the poor communication between management leads to a seemingly incompetent staff.

I have a recliner at home from a company that doesn't manufacture couches. So I knew it would be difficult to find a couch that would match it closely enough without clashing. I am giving a one star because I have to otherwise I will give it a zero star. I was here to buy sofa and coffee table for my house and David Davis navigated me in store and I choose sofa and coffee table for my living room but both were very overpriced so we decided to negotiate with him. Than we settled on one price and he said he will give us a call when he is ready. We waited for his call more than week but never received any call from him so we called him back multiple times but he never answered back. Will never shop again here. Worst customer service ever and worst experience ever.

Worst store experience ever. We're getting ready to move into a new townhouse and we were looking to spend between $3K-$5K on a new mattress with massaging base. We walked around for 15 minutes while 2 employees stood there doing absolutely nothing yet refused to even acknowledge we were even there.I reckon because we were dressed casually in jeans and tshirts they just assumed we didn't have the money to pay for what we were looking at. Well guys you know now what happens when you assume, just sayin. Fairly certain Kemper furniture will appreciate our business!!!

0 out of 10. Would not recommend. By far the worst furniture store I’ve been to. Completely overpriced furniture of the same quality you would find at Big Lots, incompetent sales people that treat customers like they’re an inconvenience, and delivery policies that seem to change with the blowing of the breeze. I’m not sure where the entitlement comes from working in a furniture store, but after spending over $4k on a couch, I don’t feel as though my wife should have left the store crying after being talked down to and belittled.

I will never buy from Ashley Furniture in Somerset again. It takes way too long to get your order and then you get the run around on order status. I had to call 5 times to find out what was going on after more than 8 weeks waiting. UPDATE: Finally got delivery, but...they sent the wrong love seat!!!

We stopped in today just to look around and ended up finding an amazing mattress in the mattress showroom. We had a few questions and Ross helped us with everything we needed, including on how to test to see if a mattress really is be the best one to take home -- that really sealed the deal on the one chosen. We were window shopping while in Somerset and burning some time for the day, when we decided to stop in at this Ashley store to look at some living room furniture. A wonderful young man, Ross, welcomed us as we started wondering around. Told us if we had any questions to ask away. He then sat down and let us go about our business. I'd much rather look around myself than have a salesman follow me around and try to sell me anything and everything under the sun. So we found this lovely couch and loveseat and sat for about 10 minutes discussing and talking. Well, we finally talked ourselves into buying the furniture. We found Ross and he helped us so swiftly and smoothly get approved for interest free financing and even saved us OVER $600 on the set, even after we had sat down and was about to purchase the set for the displayed price. He said we deserved the memorial day sell coming up. Goes to show he wasn't trying to con us into buying them because the discount came AFTER we already decided to purchase the furniture! So thank you Ross for being so kind and helpful and it was a joyful pleasure to make this purchase with you!!!!

If I could rate less then 1 star I would. They have very little in stock. You have to order everything and it takes at least 3 months. I would never recommend shopping at the Somerset location. All stores are independently owned.

Couldn't find what I was looking for, but it's always fun to shop. The sales people let you know they're available to help and then give you space to look around. Not high pressure or hovering. When I did ask for help the sales associate seemed like he wasn't 100% familiar with what they had...maybe he was new.

Everyone was friendly, store was clean, but nothing was for sale.

I ordered my furniture October 2021. I had to repeatedly call and FINALLY got my furniture delivered September 2022. The chest was damaged and was told “you can refuse it they can try to fix it”. My couch had an indention in the fabric that had almost created a hole in the fabric of the couch. It has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE dealing with them. I will NEVER again do business with them and will tell everyone I know to never use their services.

Nice furniture, sometimes a little pricey

I now know why they had no people in the store. I found a sectional that I put a deposit on, then I found it on the Ashley store site $1000.00 cheaper and they told me they wouldn't honor it. They wouldn't even come down a little. I then got my money refunded and went to another Ashley store and got it $1000 dollars cheaper. Imagine that! Don't go to the store in Somerset because they are greedy and rude. Go to Kemper or anywhere else than this chain in Somerset. I can't believe I was treated this way. Also a note that not all the Ashley stores are this way, but the one in Somerset is horrible. Save your money and your time.

The only reason I'm rating 1 star is because I couldn't give them a zero. Walked into the store to use a store credit to find employee's checking their watches(it was an hour before closing) Only for them to not honor the store credit. Manger was leaving and wasn't the least interested in helping or explaining why they wouldn't honor it. Ended up driving another hour to another store who did honor it and service was top notch. The Somerset location will never get my business again and to think I was about to give them a good chunk of money. If you are looking for great customer service, please don't waste your time like I did, shop elsewhere.

Had to order a couch that I wanted, this was back in Oct of 2020, couch finally showed up in Feb 21.The couch showed up damaged and had to be sent out for repair. The repair was made! Currently still waiting on the ottoman that I purchased with it, and was told it would be an additional 3 weeks again. Never would I recommend doing business with this store.

Be prepared if you ever have to order for them you have a long wait coming. We waited two and a half months for a loveseat I would have gave zero stars but it's not an option

I like the furniture i chose. It is a great addition to my living room and a bedroom. However there is a small tare in the arm of the sofa. Which i pointed out to delivery person. He took a picture and told me Ashley would send someone to either repair or replace. Im still waiting to hear from Ashley about this. Hence the 3 star review.

They were rude when I asked them to price match the Ashley website furniture I had also a coupon for $50 off that I got with my credit card which they refused to honor. And the furniture took almost 8 weeks to get. Needless to say I didn't buy it because they would not honor their own coupon.

We ordered all furniture that was needed for an apartment. We were promised it was all there. When we pulled to the loading dock, their wasnt any mattress or box springs. After deliberating with amanda, at the ashley store, she informed us we would not be getting them, she would have to order them. Now we have nothing but rails, headboard and foot board. We will never darken ashley furniture's door again. Also, we paid for the mattress and box springs. I wouldnt recomend this store to my worst enemy.

Update February, we're still waiting for things to get fixed, they told us they've got the parts to fix it, we're just waiting for it to be fixed.. when it's fixed I will update this whole post to reflect that we're hopefully satisfied with our purchase.. We've recently bought about $4,500 or more of furniture from Ashley's we're still waiting for almost 2 months now for the last things to come in.. our Mattress we bought is already denting after only a month it was showing in the center, I have sent photos and called repeatedly, I still haven't received any emails back in response to the photos, not sure if I ever will.. I am hoping they will help us in the end but so far I feel very nervous having spent $1299 for a Mattress that starts deforming after a month.. I will redo my review once this is all over and I waited as long as possible to even write this review because I really hoped I would get it resolved.. this is why I bought from Ashley and not Walmart or some Discount place..

Large showroom with an excellent selection of quality furniture. Although we didn't purchase on our last visit, the salesman was helpful and was not clingy or pushy at all. They were however attentive to any questions we had. We did pick out what we want and plan to purchase after the first of the year.

I regret that I am unable to give a 0 star rating. Single worst shopping experience of my life. From the in-store process to dealing with management for weeks to waiting months on my items to be delivered, all aspects of my $6000 purchase make me physically ill and angry when I think of them. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. I’ve never left a review on anything before, but this store deserves it and any future customers should get a fair warning. Don’t do it!!!

I'm only giving Ashley HomeStore a 3 star as of now. I dont like reviewing until after I hv received my furniture so that way I can review the entire process. Saleperson was nice but you know they have to be to make that sale, they gotta earn a living too. This person was not pushy, and did not hover around...she actually gave us time to look around before approaching us again. I told her what I wanted, she pointed out a few suggestions and helped my purchase stay within my budget. I was approved for a credit limit fairly quickly, just enter your info into a kiosk and it instantly verifies you for credit depending on how good your credit is. I purchased a bed, mattress that was on closeout sale and the mattress base, comforter set, 10 yr protection plan, and mattress cover for $2,888.00. My monthly payments will be in the $120 range on a 2 yr payment plan which I am ok with as it's another open line of credit which helps build my credit. The more open lines of credit you hv the better for your credit history. If I can remember, I will come back in 4 weeks and update my review as that's how long it takes to get everything ordered and delivered. Oh delivery charge for local area was $79. ***8/30/19 Bed delivery came within 3 wks of purchase, delivery guys were nice, and very efficient. My original bed was a sleigh bed with storage which didnt fit with mattress base...if get a fancy mattress that raises up and down the base will not fit d/t the storage drawers. Delivery guys told me to call the store back and they would replace the bed which they did. Replacement bed came another 2 wks or so later and mattress base worked great. All in all I was ok with the service. My monthly payments are $124 a month.

We placed our order for a hide a bed and recliner 5 weeks ahead and were assured they would arrive in time for our house guests. They did not. The salespeople will apparently say and do anything to make a sale. Beware.

The buying process was pleasant. However, it took over two months to get our furniture because they forgot to notify us that it had arrived. We were told one month. I was not pleased with the way the delivery guys were banging around and dropping heavy metal rails and such on our floors. I was scared they were going to scratch them.

I loved the selection of furniture and would have given 5 stars, however, the sales lady did not give me the discount I was supposed to get (online price match). I asked her several times if she applied the discount prior to the transaction being complete and was told yes, only to find out after the receipt was printed that she did not honor that price match. After much discussion, she finally honored the online price.

I ordered and paid in full a chair amd a half with an ottoman Feb. 16th, 19. After a month it was not in, I called. It was to be on a truck March 28th. I went in on March 26th just to check on it. They told me it "might" be in the end of April. I had them return my money. The day I ordered the items I was told they were available. Never doing business there again. The same day I requested my money back I went straight to Kemper, the furniture I bought there was in my living room in 4 days. Go to Kemper.

I was unhappy with the customer service I got.. I wanted to purchase additional items but I felt the person who was servicing me couldn't work with me. She was going to charge me two times for shipping . I wanted buy a couch and chair but wouldn't work with me on the price. So I went somewhere else to buy what I was looking for and who was willing to work me on the price. Sucks for y'all because I had money to spend. I'm very displeased with your customer service. Your customer service sale associates are rude, snotty, and very stuck up. Then I tried to call your store several times no one could hear me so they just kept hanging up. I was told I'm sorry our phone lines are messed up . It's been over three weeks I was told it would only take three weeks to receive my items. And I still haven't received my stuff. I won't be coming there ever again ..!

What's suppose to be 3 to 4 weeks has turned into 6 weeks. Still haven't recieved my furniture! Not very happy about it at all and this will be my last purchase at Ashley Furniture.

I won’t ever be buying anything from the Ashley’s in Somerset again, I order furniture almost a month ago told me it came in on Monday so I call to go pick it up they tell me it’s not there so I talk to the manger maridith and she tells me it is and that I have to give a 24 hours notice it’s tuesday at 1 so I said okay I can come pick it up weds after 1 and she tells me they can’t do that, that she wants a 48 hour notice. Remind you I’ve already paid for this furniture and I can’t pick it up on the day I want? You have to pick it up when they say you can. Horrible experience.

Went with a friend, "just looking." Found 2 beautiful Scarlet and Gold pillows, on sale. They are so soft to the touch..a real bargain! Then as I casually looked around, I discovered a gorgeous kitchen island, which has the exact colors in my kitchen. We ordered it. Cannot wait for it to arrive!!😀😎😍

We stopped in looking for a new bed for my 15 yr old, we were quickly greeted by Sharon, she let us know that if we did not find what were looking for on the floor she could show us more on the website. After looking through the site my son found "his" bed, while ordering Sharon was able to get us a great discount. She completed the transaction quickly and efficiently. I really had a good experience at your store and Sharon was so super helpful, she was very patient and professional and I really enjoyed my time with her. She went above and beyond to try and find what I wanted, she tried her best to make sure I was happy when I left the store and I was. When I went to go buy the staple pieces for my living room, the process of trying to pick certain pieces was almost enough to make me drink myself into a complete stupor. However, Morgan was there, saving me from the plight of having to be an adult for once in my life. I don't do well with any type of decisions-. In all seriousness, the environment of the store was comfortable. The employees were incredibly nice--especially Morgan who was helpful and incredibly nice. She gave me a realistic price and help me settle a delivery date for my living room suite. Morgan being realistic was extremely appreciated considering that I was often "talked into" trying to but "add-ons" with other stores. Don't waste your time at other furniture stores who want to sell you as much as they can!!

Beth and the other lady that helped us (sorry I cannot remember her name) are so fun to work with. We went in to look at a sectional we saw on the website and Beth asked if we needed help with anything. We never felt pushed or bothered like most salespeople tend to do. The customer service is great and because of these friendly ladies we will share our experience with others and we will be back to purchase again when we need to!

They installed my front panel on my bed upside down, I mean seriously. When I order a crystal piece for my bed they said it was for for and then only gave me one when I called back they took a message and never called me again and I've spent thousands there over the years. I won't be back

Very overpriced, came in interested in buying furniture and couldn’t get any help. I don’t know if I didn’t looked like I couldn’t afford it or not but nevertheless I did not enjoy my experience.

No one acknowledge my presence. Sofa I wanted to sit on was stacked on top of another one. No description on tag. Scanned UPC with my phone (twice), Was NOT even a sofa. Dissatisfied

Took forever to get my sectional and when I finally got it they had screwed up and sent the wrong addition to my sectional..

I will only walk in to physically see the furniture im interested in, and then ill leave lol. So long story short i had cash in hand, ready to buy that day for my mother in law. I was ready to purchase a kitchen island that was around 1200$ But they couldnt sell the display island and had no more available. They wanted me to wait a month and would not come off the full price and got snoody. Lol so i took my cash to Ashley in Richmond Ky. Got that exact same island for 750$ WITH 2 BAR STOOLS that were 100$ a piece...didnt make me pay for them though ^_^ So satisfied with Ashley furniture in Richmond. And remember people....furniture is negotiable ;) because our time and money are valuable. Thanks Ashley of Somerset for only leading me to the same furniture but way cheaper with no snoody nobodys. =) P.S. the island is wonderful.

So I walked in with my wife and children, asking about sectionals, each question I asked the salesmen rolled his eyes and acted annoyed. He was unbelievably rude, we literally walked out it was so bad. Majority of my furniture from My bedroom suite to my kitchen table is ashley. The furniture for my newly finished basement I can promise won’t be.
