We are thrilled with Dorian at the Ashley Furniture store in Rosedale. We told him what we were looking for. He was knowledgeable about the options throughout the store. He took us right to a few options. Was quick to answer questions in color choices etc, even when one didn’t list the color we preferred on the sign. He just provided info, no pressure, gave us privacy to talk and decide without hovering and when we were ready he priced out our final choices, presented them. Let us think, and weigh options and quickly processed a sale. Called his manager for some extra off. Super grateful as I dread furniture shopping so absolutely thrilled. He’s now my go to for furniture. He gave me his card and cell. That’s Service!!

It has been a disaster so far! Ordered furniture in July and wasn’t delivered for 2 months. Bed frame was finally delivered last week and there were no slots to out the mattress on. Still sleeping on the floor!!! Slat still have not been delivered!!! And no call back or concern! Nothing!!! She mad at Ashley in Baltimore!!! Never again!!! I’m from NY and have furnished my entire home using Ashley in Nanuet- never a problem. We are just devastated!!!

0 stars if i could give one.. but the order was massively delayed after a commitment given for the delivery date each times. The communication was a complete train wreck—DORIAN blatantly strung us along, avoiding any accountability for the delay. Then straight up refused to give the phone to the manager when asked, meanwhile continuously arguing about the fact that he had given us a wrong timeline… When we demanded an explanation, they had the audacity to blame it on someone who supposedly no longer worked there. We were forced to waste more time going back & forth with him. Once we got in hold of the manager, it happened after 8 to 9 minutes duration then we were finally able to connect to the manager. Dorian needs to be fired immediately for this pathetic excuse of service, and I will never set foot in that store again.

ZERO STAR!! We have had an absolute headache dealing with Ashley Furniture and their employees in this location, particularly. They have been completely negligent when it comes to keeping us updated on the status of our delayed furnitures (sofas). Despite repeated promises, we’re the ones constantly having to reach out to them to find out why our furniture still hasn’t arrived. They claimed they had the sofas in the warehouse, yet it still hasn’t arrived. It’s been incredibly frustrating, and I wanna warn anyone considering buying from them to proceed with caution. Be prepared for your furniture not to arrive for at least 12 weeks, even though they initially guarantee a much shorter time frame. DO NOT fall for the false promises of delivery within four weeks. We’re extremely disappointed, and if we could rate their customer service, it would be beyond zero.
Came in the store and Mr Bob greeted me respectfully. He never pushed and limited to offer his help w questions. When he was needed he was awesome. I would happily go back and ask for him specifically

We had a wonderful experience with Dorian at this Ashley location! He couldn’t have been more helpful to answer all of our questions, provide pricing when asked, and gave us space when needed. He was so knowledgeable about the whole store and if there was anything we were looking for, he had the perfect recommendation. The manager, Kadie, was amazing as well. She was so pleasant to talk to. She gave us a ton of information about our furniture and shipping/delivery. We left so informed about what we bought. Very happy with our experience overall and would recommend!
Dorian was absolutely amazing! He was so knowledgeable of all the styles, knew the data and programs involved, and wasn’t pushy at all- I felt like I was shopping with my new, best friend! The store was undergoing a repainting, but it did not impact the shopping experience at all. The store was also well laid out and clean!

For the area, they do have the better selection at decent price points. However, the experience here is definitely less than ideal. It’s run by young “adults” who haven’t been properly trained. There was one who seemed to know what she was doing but had a terrible attitude with her coworkers (not a good look in front of customers), and I even saw an employee vaping inside! I seemed to have a better idea of what the process was than these kids. It seemed like they just wanted to get a sale and ship you out. I’m not going back there. It’s ran poorly.

I am sad to say that the great service was only to get me to buy furniture. I was told by the manager receive my chairs on September 19. Not only have I not received them. I cannot get a hold of the manager who sold them to me or anyone at the store. I have left two messages on his private cell phone and no one will answer the phone at the store . So very disappointing!

I would highly suggest seeking furniture elsewhere. I ordered a set for my daughter all of the pieces did not arrive after the delivery driver insisted I tip him. I followed up with the store and manager and they are not responsive this was over two weeks ago. Still no word on when I should expect the missing furniture pieces.

I had a very pleasant experience with Imya Awkward. She was super nice and knowledgeable about the merchandise we were looking at.
Unfortunately, I had to come back to revise this review from 5 stars to 1. The purchase process was seamless, but our order ended up being significantly delayed so we had to cancel it. We were slow rolled on the communication, and when we asked why they weren’t transparent with us about the delivery timeline, we were told “you know how salesmen are.” We had to go back in person to cancel the order. I wouldn’t shop at this store again.

If I could rate no stars I would.. I ordered bar stools the employee that helped was so nice. But the way my experience went I will never order from here nor go back, I talked to other people & they had terrible experiences also. I was definitely not treated fairly, the manager Richard cares more about making sales than anything. I wanted to return my bar stools before they were shipped because I was scared of them being too small. But I paid with Apple credit card, & they aren't suppose to take those, & but when I explain to him I wanted to just get a refund & go somewhere I can physically see them, he tried to talked me out of it, mind you it was a week day as well, he said "can you come back on Saturday, a day I'll be making sales". I laughed it off & said I rather get it done. & then magically he couldn't refund me, & said I would need to get a letter from Apple. & I was so tired I just didn't wanna deal with it anymore, & I'm down $826.

Just went to Ashley Furniture on Pulaski Hwy today. Justin is such a blessing! Purchased an entire living room set (Sofa, Love Seat, Chair & Ottoman). Justin was very knowledgeable but was honest when he didn't know an answer to a question I had. I definitely appreciated that since that's not what salesmen normally do! He gave us space but was near to answer any questions at a moments notice. Finally, when I paid for everything, the other gentlemen (Mr. Richard and Mustafa) that helped in the back were so very helpful! All 3 worked together and I was able to get the best price possible. Thank you so very much!

As I walked in, the floor rep was busy with another customer so it afforded me the chance to look around. I passed by the sales desk and YANNA immediately asked if I had been greeted/was being helped. While she is not a floor rep, she went ABOVE & BEYOND (as did the Manager, Richard). She directed me to options of the specific item wanted; verified availability, measurements and color options. The end result? A sale and very happy customer!

Been calling for service on my sofa for over 1 year now someone from service tell me I have to pay as I'm out of warranty. As I call to late. They just scamers there all the manager are scamers they be playing games I got a 3k sofa sitting in my house that I can't use.
Truth be told, when I originally made a purchase at this location in August of 2022, I was incredibly happy. I love the couches I got. However, I am incredibly frustrated with the customer service I received. When my wife and I were looking for couches we decided on a budget before going out shopping. We were helped by Bobby Berry, whom we shared our budget with. We had found something we liked at Ashely but continued to look at our options. We found a similar couch at a different store and Bobby was able to price match for us. Happy with the price matching, we decided to purchase from Ashely. We were then instructed on which loan to take to match our monthly budget for the couch. Unfortunately, I was not made aware that I was purchasing the couch with a no interest deal that lasted not even 2 years, the promotion lasted till March 10th, 2024. We took out a 3 year loan and were none the wiser that we had been roped into this trap. So now I got slapped with an additional $1,319.33 (interest charged from the initial purchase) and with an interest rate of 29.99%. While I do love my couches, business practices like these are unacceptable. Should anyone want furniture from here, go for it. However, I recommend a personal loan. The bank they use is Synchrony. Again, neither from Ashley Homestore nor Synchrony was I made aware of the promotion or the extra money I would have to pay. I wouldn't want anyone else to get taken advantage of.
Horrific, furniture ordered, they charged my account and stated I should have delivery in four days. Four days later no one answers the phone, I go to the store they promise to call me as computers are down for a week, no one ever calls. Corporate also doesn’t answer. I go into cancel, they can’t cancel as computers are down. Needless to say they currently have my money and I have nothing.

I would not recommend this store or this brand to anyone. They are highly unresponsive to customer issues and the customer service is horrible. They never communicated and scheduled delivery for my order. I had to go to the store several times to find a resolution and it is still unresolved.

I talked to Rick the manager and the terrible costume service, and it going to take almost a month to fix the broken couch. $900 waisted on a terrible couch. They do not accept return. Please buy you couch somewhere else. My terrible couch is the McLeland Gray 2 seat reclining sofa.

I initially rated my experience as a 5. I had to revisit this after my purchase. Here's why....I made a purchase on 3.17.24 and was told that I would receive a call for delivery within 1-2 days. The call never came... I followed up to get a delivery date and was told that my furniture was sent to another customer. I was told that I would be called back with a delivery date...again, no call. Unprofessional and criminal how customers are treated

Had no issues taking my order, making me sign up for their credit card, and setting up delivery to my address in PA. Just to be told 8 weeks later at the time of scheduling delivery that they have to transfer my order to a different warehouse. And then another week later be told that they don't deliver to my town in PA.

It it's a nightmare I'm experiencing right now. Ashley furniture delivers has been at my house 5 times. I still don't have what I paid for. They kept bringing broken furniture. I tried to get help from the store, and I received a hard time because they wanted me to deal with the delivery people. I didn't buy from the delivery company. My problem is' too much to write. Broken furniture, missing parts, ect. My whole body hurt because what Ashley Furniture has put me through. I feel so taking advantage of .

The worst store there is I advise you don’t order a single item from this location. They don’t return phone calls nor do they update you on the status of your pieces. The workers are very rude and the Manager Richard is never anywhere to be found. Don’t order from Ashley period, corporate does ABSOLUTELY nothing to help find solutions to your problem.

Worst possible customer service ruined the fun of this gorgeous couch. It's hard to imagine a big successful furniture chain would have such bad post sale service. Picked the couch by myself and unpacked at home. Noticed there were a few holes in cloth at the base of the couch where they punched staples during manufacturing. Called them same day, sent emails as well and had to follow up for about 8 weeks where someone may pickup the phone once in a few days, had conversations with 4 different store representatives and everyone told me the Ashley service department was not responding to their emails. So I was told to follow up with their service department by myself, I instead reached out to my bank and after a few weeks they told me since I signed the papers before pickup my dispute wasn't valid. The couch is comfortable but this was a disappointing experience.
Bob was incredible. He was patient with me, my wife, and our children as they run around the store. He was not pushy and gave us time and space to make up our minds, which my wife and I appreciated.
We had a great furniture buying experience yesterday at Ashley. We worked with Dasean and Jojo. They were both incredibly helpful and kind as we are new to buying furniture. Dasean was welcoming when we first got to the store but let us browse at our own pace. He checked in with us a few times to answer questions and then was very speedy to get us all checked out. Jojo helped with our payment and made everything very smooth. We would definitely come back again!

Usman helped us pick out a great couch when we were really split between a lot of different models. Usman got us a color option were weren't even aware of on top of that. He was super informative, wasn't pushy, was transparent about the price, and our options; overall he was helpful instead of just trying to make a sale. Overall it was genuinely easy and I'll definitely be back to shop with him for anything we need in the future as he's awesome.

Terrible service and no care for customers. One sales associate will tell you one thing and another will tell you something completely different. They don’t answer the phone and when they do, they barely talk, just mumble! First of all, when my parents went to buy furniture, no one was helping them and had to wait for a while to even get a purchase made. Then, when they FINALLY received their furniture, it had scratches on it plus missing pieces. When requested to exchange items they were willing to only take some of it, so my parents ended up just returning some furniture as it was a never ending game. They ended up getting rest of their new furniture for the house from Value City as they actually listen and help!
Usman was an excellent sales associate! We found a table we loved and he was a huge help in getting us an amazing deal!! 10/10 definitely recommend!

I purchased a TV stand and coffee table from the Ashley store in Maryland back in July. While I received the TV stand at the store, I was informed that I had to wait an additional 2-3 weeks for the coffee table. On the night I picked up my TV stand, I received a call notifying me that it was actually meant for someone else and had been given to me by mistake. This resulted in a significant waste of my time and effort. To apologize for their mistake, they assured me that they would deliver both the coffee table and TV stand within 3 weeks. However, they later canceled the delivery option and insisted I pick them up myself. This was a frustrating experience, and I believe Ashley did not treat customers with the respect they deserve, especially regarding the time and money spent. This situation left me quite disappointed

I normally dont like giving bad reviews, but I work in customer service and I dont like being told lied to just get my business. We came into Ashleys to buy a sectional and Dorian helped us find a sectional. The only reason we came to Ashleys was because Value City time frame to deliver was a bit long and we told Dorian this specific realson. Dorian said he would check to see if the furniture was in stock and if so it could be delivered the next week. Thats the only reason we placed a order. After a week and half goes by no one called us to schedule delivery as we were told. We went back to the store and spoke with the manager who had his child in the store at the time and was very unprofessional. His name was Richard and he told he saw our order in the system and was expected in stock on 9/12 and we could call his personal number to follow up in a few days. We called Richard on 9/13 no answer, we called the store a few times and it went right to voicemail. I found a customer service number online and they told me my order still didnt have a delivery date or even knew when it was expected. So all in all I believe Dorian lied to us just to get the sale. I do not recommend this store at all and I will be canceling my order and going back to Value City.
One star because the quality of this furniture is sub par and they aren't even that inexpensive of a store to begin with. We have bought multiple couches from Ashley and each time we get suckered in to believing it will be different. We were up sold on a higher quality product that supposedly would last longer and has more a durable material because we had issues with the less expensive style we picked the last time. Low and behold, not even 6 months after having our couch it is pilling just like the old styles. We have asked our sales rep what can be done about this and we keep getting deflected and ignored. They should sell used cars over there because that's the type of person you're dealing with. All we wanted was to have the cushion fabric replaced.I will be bringing the cushion into the store to see if I will still be ignored.To future customers, just spend the extra money elsewhere or get Costco furniture up the road. The furniture will last longer and you won't even have to worry about a poor customer service department post purchase.Edit: we understand pilling is not covered under warranty. Our complaint is we were lied to by the sales rep. We explicitly stated we were concerned about pilling and we're told that would not happen with this more expensive couch based on the higher quality material and it did. Even faster than the less expensive one we purchased before this one.

Everyone here is very unprofessional. I was told I did not sign an invoice and because of that my account was locked. I never received any invoice to sign. Cherrelle, the manager, sent over the invoice for me to sign and told me she would call me back once it was received. I never received a call. I called the office the next day and asked for an update. Though the invoice was sent in less than 5 minutes of receiving, Cherrelle was just now seeing it. She told me she would work on unlocking the account and give me a call back. I decided to visit the location in person instead. Once I arrived, the regional manager stepped in and it was uncovered that my account is locked because Cherrelle never sent an email to unlock it. She then had trouble sending the email for whatever reason. I was asked to wait for a response while we waited for a response. It wasn’t until I requested a refund that I was able to receive my This entire situation was been extremely unprofessional. I do not know how this lady is a manager. She has no sense of professional communication, decorum or general common sense. Richard, the general store manager, was the most pleasant part of my visit today. He was well spoken, apologetic and able to step in and correct her mistakes.

had the absolute worst experience with this store, we had a problem with the furniture and they didn't want to help us the people at the desk kept giving us fake numbers to call, and then once we walked away they would start laughing, instead of helping to solve the problem they just act dumb and laugh, Trust when i say they will get what they deserve. Update: As great as J.R. was on the front end is as bad as Ashley was on the back-end/delivery of our purchase. We were given a Sunday delivery date. This was odd because they shared with us that they don't deliver on Sundays but, policies change so we went with it. We were also told that we would receive a call the day before our delivery informing us of the 3 or 4 hour window. That call didn't come so we called and were rushed off the phone with a woman repeating to us "They'll call, they'll call" and implying that our question was stupid. We'll they didn't call on Saturday nor on Sunday. We reached out they told us we understood it wrong. Unfortunately, we have a paper trail showing that we were in fact right. That didn't really matter to them. We got our rep. on the line. He said he would escalate it to the GM. We aren't sure that this happened because we didn't hear back from our rep. and haven't heard from him since. A few days later with no word we called the store again. They said they would deliver on a Friday (I believe) they arrived with only 1/2 of our purchase. They put it back in the truck and went on their way. We finally got a date and a window of time. They came last Thursday and I can say that the delivery guys were terrific. Professional and efficient. We didn't enjoy being treated like it was a privilege to buy from Ashley. We also didn't like being gaslit or flat-out lied to regarding the delivery. Their sales team is very good on the front end. The back end execution was not only awful it was disrespectful. It is isn't good when you are trying to get answers regarding a major purchase you made and it feel like everyone is running away from you or worse blatantly lying to you. Which is precisely how we felt.

I placed an order at the white marsh location and when the sectional arrived, it was sent in the wrong configuration. I had to decline the order since it would not fit in my apartment. I visited the store and to find out what options I had to get a replacement as soon as possible. Richard took care of me and showed me the best options I had to replace my order. It is Saturday and I will have my furniture delivered on Wednesday! If you visit the white marsh location make sure you talk to Richard.
Ashley Furniture has always been my number one choice, especially the Rosedale location. My sales associate, Dorion, was very knowledgeable, attentive and patient. I left with more then I originally chose and am happy with my purchase. I will be recommending this location and my sales rep, Dorion, to friends and family in the future.

I first gave 5 stars but i have reduced it to 3 stars..shame that as a courtesy how to clean leather furniture literature along with conditioner and cleaner sample not given when furniture is delivered..what's even worse I spoke with a salesperson who was clueless as to what brand or what to purchase in order to keep the leather furniture from cracking...how do u sell leather furniture and not know that.....and was told to use lysol wipes to clean my leather furniture and worst of all I was put on hold for along time to speak with an amateur sales person.

I want to share my ordeal of a purchase I did at Ashley. On January 15th, I purchased a sofa, love seat and high quality mattress from this store. The sales representative made very tall claims of how good of a deal we are getting and also the excellent customer service Ashley provides which made us ended up buying the products. We received the delivery in 2 weeks but the love seat had a cut which we noticed immediately and sent back. Ashley took another 15 days to send us a replacement of the love seat with another cut on it but this time the delivery guys would not wait and they left. We called Ashley immediately complaining about the product and asking for a replacement. They assured to help asking us to send pictures. But they were all false claims. It has been over a months now and these people would not address it. They have rejected the claim and want to repair it. Why should in the first place I accept a product which is defective when I have paid the full price of it? Their customer service is pathetic and never responds back. We visited the store couple of times and they would keep telling you that sales and service are 2 different departments and they cannot help. Ashley is a big fraud trying to fool customers by selling defective products. I have seen multiple reviews(which I wish I had seen before making the purchase) for Ashley where customer had faced same issues. Please take those reviews seriously if you care for your money. I can vouch for them. I spent my hard earned money on buying products which I thought would make my home beautiful but now when I see it in my living room, it hurts that I spent so much money. I wish i had not gone to Ashley. So if anyone is reading this review and decides not to choose Ashley, I would find peace because I am tired of following up with them trying to get my problem addressed and dont want you to be in the same shoes.
Please Beware! We were told we could cancel or return our order for a full refund if it didn't fit in our living room. Just pay delivery fee. They lied just to get the sale, and then we were stuck. We tried to cancel 2 weeks before delivery and was told that we would only receive 60% store credit. I do not recommend!
This has been a horrible experience from beginning to end. If looking for furniture buy elsewhere. The reps here will tell you anything but the truth to get you off the phone. Because we were moving across state lines we wanted to shop with a furniture company in both locations to be ahead of our move and get our furniture in a timely manner. We went to a local Ashley's in Richmond and once the rep found out we were moving to Baltimore said " We don't ship there!" and walked away leaving us to assist ourselves. We tried to be invoiced over the phone at the Baltimore location for weeks! No one ever emailed us the invoice. We went into this location and the reps assured us we could get the furniture within the specified time. Every deadline that they said we would hear from them or get the living room set has come and gone without hearing from them. We have had to call them so many times to just hear the same excuses. Which is someone giving a random date that it would be delivered. No two reps will give you the same date because they just make it up. This all could have been avoided with honesty on their part from the beginning. We have been working with a "manager" at this location who assured us we would have had our furniture by now or he would reach out. When we called to follow up today, we were told he is out on leave.The bottom line is you will spend thousands of dollars with them and never know when you will receive your furniture. At this point, I would like a full refund. Do yourself a favor and shop anywhere else. This has been a horrible experience.

The cheap plywood frame within our couch broke within 6 months from normal use, well within the claimed factory 1 year warranty that they refuse to honor. Additionally we purchased the extended warranty, and they still aren't doing anything to make things right. Run from these con artists. They won't honor the warranty on their cheaply made furniture.
Absolutely terrible customer service. One person will tell you one thing and another will tell you different. It’s clear no one has had proper cohesive training in this place. We’ve tried multiple times to file a claim with the “insurance” we bought just for a different excuse of why it’s not covered. The last person we spoke to said manufacturing issues are covered to an extent..yet our beam being broken isn’t but “a screw coming loose” is. A screw must be loose in whoever did the underwriting for this plan. Also, “to an extent” .. who decides what that extent is?! I asked for proof in writing of what the “extent” is and what it includes/excludes. The response to that? “It’s not about proof.” What does that even mean???? Now we are at the point where Ashley no longer makes replacement parts for our couch (that is still within the warranty window that we purchased) so best they can do is return the $90 we had to pre-pay for a specific replacement part BEFORE THEY EVEN KNEW IF IT WAS POSSIBLE! We had to call multiple times to just get that info alone. Each time we were told that the manager would give us a call back within the next business day—surprise, surprise that NEVER happened. Now they’re saying that nothing is covered, they can’t replace anything, and if we want our $90 refunded we need to go in store and see what they can do about it. We live an HOUR away! Luckily we just moved back from across the country or we’d really be SOL. Absolutely unacceptable. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO A “PROTECTION PLAN” BECAUSE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY! And certainly don’t go to this location. Though to be fair, we’ve had problems at another location too. Do better, Ashley. This is pathetic.
This was the worst experience I have had. DO NOT USE ASHLEYS IN WHITE MARSH. The furniture is junk and they don’t stand by their product.
4 plus months and 3 deliveries later we finally got 4 pieces in the right color. Last time going there.
SO disappointed in Ashley’s customer service. Have had our couch less than a year keep in mind. Every cushion is textured cause the fabric is pilling. The top and back of our cushions looks like it’s literally growing fur. Ashleys will not do anything because it’s “cosmetic” not a manufacturer defect. I’m sorry but no couch should do this LESS THAN A YEAR of owning. not to mention someone on their end cancelled our delivery and we didn’t find out till the day of. When we had already gotten rid of our old furniture so my husband had to find a bunch of people to go grab it with him from their warehouse. I cannot justify paying so much for a piece of furniture for it to be complete junk. Shame on you Ashley’s. You’ll never have my business again that’s for sure.

For the price I paid for this furniture I would have expected better service and quality. I had my sofa for less than 6 months when bowing and creaking started. The issue was deemed customer use, and I was unable to discuss the issue with anyone. Not sure how sitting on a couch, its ONLY purpose, and the piece no longer functioning for that purpose could be called customer use when less than 6 months have passed. To me that is the definition of a manufacture defect. Unfortunately, I will not be returning for any future home needs.
I ordered a lot of furniture - most people reference delays. My issue wasn't so much a delay as it was the delivery men couldn't figure out how to get the furniture into our house. They damaged walls, doorframes and made a huge mess. Ashley sent a different crew who put the furniture in my house and set it up in less than 10 minutes. I forwarded photos to Ashley of the damages as they asked and they told me to get an estimate - I sent the estimate and then they washed their hands of me. Never took steps to file the insurance claim, pay for the damage of wallboard repairs and paint and even didn't follow thru on sending a gift card they had promised. I would not shop at Ashley or its parent company ever again.

Still waiting for a bed that I ordered in Feb of 2022. My most recent communication from the store said that it would be in on July 3rd! Very dissatisied with the sales and service at this store. I was initally told it would arrive by the end of April and should have left the store at that time. When I turned to leave the store and go elsewhere, I was told it could be ordered from a store in VA and arrive mid March. The mattress and boxspring arrived in time in time for my guests the end of April so they slept on that. I'm still looking at boxes in my room because the rails and footboard arrived in June but the headboard was damaged. Spoke to someone at the store who promised to return my call but never did. I have contacted customer service but they said I needed to contact the store for compensation. At this point, the only thing the store has done is take my money.
I was supposed to have my furniture delivered on Saturday May 28. It had been ready for almost a month, but because the delivery policy doesn’t allow you to get a time frame, you have to take a WHOLE day off from work and you don’t find out the time frame until the day before…. So, Saturday arrived and I had been notified the delivery would be between 8am and Noon. I woke up early and I got a text saying the delivery was 15 minutes away…. Awesome! Driver calls me when he is 5 minutes away. The conversation starts Ok, but then as I’m providing instructions on where to park, the driver starts ordering me to “listen, listen! LISTEN!!!” I was spoken to as if I were a dog! I end up hanging up cause that is not about to happen. Long story short, driver shows up, looks at me, types a few things on his phone, get back in the truck, and leaves! I called both the delivery company (third party picked by Ashley) and Ashley furniture. Delivery company never did call me back. When I called Ashley, I spoke to Kevin, the manager. He seemed apologetic and said he would call me back Monday morning with details on when and how they would get me my furniture. I asked him if he was sure he would call Monday since it would be Memorial Day. I was assured I would get a call. It is now Wednesday, June 1…. Still no phone call. I guess Ashley wants to keep their furniture and 8 will keep my money and my business. I will never do business with Ashley again! HORRIBLE experience!

I wish there was an option of zero rating, I would have given that to them, extremely pathetic service from Ashley and specially this location. I never got an honest answer. I ordered a Sofa set back in January 2022 and they gave estimated time 4-12 weeks and representative even went on saying " its just an estimated time and mostly it arrives in 4 weeks" Then they give me delivery date in end of March and then mid April. When I did not get my sofa delivered in 12 weeks, I went there to cancel the order, then they said its been shipped and should arrive by May 3rd, I am still waiting and whenever I call their response is "Its in transit". I wonder its in transit from Mars planet..!

Most of the items in my home which includes two bedrooms, a dining room table, and a couch, are from Ashley Furniture. I ordered a bedroom set February 25th I understood there was a delay but when I called they have had my bed for over a month so I asked if they could deliver it. I'm so tired of sleeping on the floor. My folks are elderly and went through some stuff with covid so now they live here. However when I tried calling Ashley they told me that they will not deliver my bed even though that they have it. It seems they would at least deliver it to make space at the warehouse but they denied my request. Because I'm very tired of sleeping on the floor I have decided to cancel the dresser so I can get my bed. On the other hand I'm thinking about canceling the whole thing. It would have been nice to have my bed delivered and whenever the dresser come in that could have been delivered then since they don't have a confirmed date. Now that's good customer service. Ashley furniture has lost me as a faithful customer.
This store is one of the worst customer service experience I have ever had, their delivery truck hit my car, last year and I still waiting for some one to help. They have very poor service, the parking lot is always empty. I wonder why? 🤔

Went in tonight to browse for a new couch. JR approached us very professionally and let us know he was there to help but have us space. He was very personable and checked in a couple times without being pushy. He answered questions and was knowledgeable. Extremely poor service. They took full payment for the furniture and it’s been more than six months, they only delivered a half of a dining set. They’ll leave you stuck with no one responding and a bot responding on yelp. It’s a terrible experience. Just look at all the reviews posted here before you go, they actually deserve a negative star rating.
Let me premise this post with the the sales associate Richard whom I worked with on 11/26/2021 was a stand up guy, and I really enjoyed him. I felt good working with him, and felt that I could have negotiated, but I also felt he did his job top notch , and he deserved compensation.Now since then, this is about the store. And since I am taking to Yelp, is only because after looking, it appears this is where you get ahold of a manager since I cannot seem to get one on the phone. I have been calling the store since last Saturday. On Wednesday, I was able to get through to a woman who I asked if they could help me. My husband's family lives in Baltimore, hence why we went to that store, but we live closer to the Milsboro, DE Ashley. We were informed that they work with the same store, so they were able to help us if we wanted to purchase that day. We ended up settling on a reclining sofa and loveseat, $2200plus later. The receipt I have says 8-12 weeks, and we were told end of February at the latest. I was also told to call in two weeks after purchase to get estimated arrival. I did, and there was only confirmation of purchase. I ignored it, moved on. Now with February ending, and being unable to track and had not heard from anyone from Ashley I began to try to make contact. The corporate Ashley pointed me to the store we bought from, which I was unable to get anyone to answer the phone since February 19. On February 23rd, around 7:30 PM (me thinking slow time) I got a woman on the phone (no name). When I spoke with her I explained the issue, and she said that our estimated arrival was April 10th. My first annoyance was, where is the communication? Are we supposed to just sit on our thumbs when we were told February? My next issue was her attitude. She told me we signed something that said that it could take up to 16 weeks. I said the documents I had in my possession said otherwise. She said well I was wrong. I asked what compensation we would get, and she said nothing until 16 weeks was up, which would be in March. And then I could cancel my order, order something else, or just wait. I said well that wasn't the contract, and what other compensation, which I was told nothing. At this point, I had already given my information and phone number, and said okay, well I need to speak to a supervisor then. She said fine, and hung up on me promptly. I was pretty angry at this point, but still hoped I could speak to someone tomorrow.I again called on February 24th, and spoke to a gentleman. He said that the manager had stepped out to lunch. I gave him my information, and told him I didn't want to rehash everything, but I had been hung up on, and wanted to speak to someone higher than an associate. He agreed, and took my information. No one called me back. Still have not heard back today. My frustration comes from several areas. First, the lack of communication. I have ordered from Ashley before, and have never experienced this lack of regard. I know people are busy and COVID has everything higher in price and back dated, but communicate. Second, asking for some type of compensation or solution versus just deal with it seems like the least they can do. Lastly, the lack of ability to even speak to someone, let alone staff hung up on me. I am not trying to be a "Karen", but I am taking to Yelp, because I see there is a manager that is responding on here. Based on ratings I am not alone.

I received a response from Ashley furniture store corporate office stating that because I pick the furniture up I wave my manufacture warranty. Why would I waive a warranty. I purchased the furniture from the store manager and the lady who was an even authorized should do this transaction.You guys are horrible and are just out to get people for their money. Even the warranty I purchase would not cover it because the couch was just purchased. I was told that this is being reviewed and I make it another couch. The response on the review says something totally different.Please read the review response I got. Do not shop at this furniture store it's a rip off and does not want to honor defective items. Less than 30 days. I kept the item in the box wrapped up that I got it in. When unwrapping notice it was torn. You cannot justify that.I emailed the customer service line as she suggested in the response, I've gotten no response as of yet. Do not buy from Ashley's
I purchased a living room set the end of December 2021. I picked the item up from the warehouse and kept the item in a box for two weeks until I moved to my new home January 2022. After opening the couch we saw legs were missing and the couch had a hole in it. I purchase a extended warrant. I was told I waived my one-year manufacturer warranty because I picked the item up. Which was never disclosed to me. The extended warranty I purchased will not cover the item because the item is only less than 30 days old. This is heartbreaking and wrong. I was also told that Regency furniture now owns Ashley furniture. They refuse to fix or give me a new set. Please do not purchase from this company. Value city, and Bob’s honor all warranties and is much better than Ashley’s. Beware!!!!!!!!!
I was missed informed my the sale associate, that the king size mattress. I order on October 25,2021 would arrive in 3 weeks . It's January 5,2022 and I still sleeping on my couch. Every time I call the store. I get the run around with the staff on a time-line. They are rude in telling me to read my contact.
If a zero rating were possible ,I would be using it. This location does not concern themselves with the customer after taking your money. We purchased furniture in April 2021 . After 3 deliveries beginning in October of very damaged furniture...we have requested SEVERAL times to have management contact us. As of this email we are STILL WAITING! Cannot express enough you should NOT purchase here. Most certain there are other companies that would VALUE your business especially after the sale of severalthousand dollars!!!! Sales employees are condescending when you ask to speak with manager. Each call we are told he is unavailable.
If I could give their customer "service" zero stars, I would. Avoid this place like the plague. Sure, they are helpful when you want to buy something from them. However, after you've left the store, even though they SAY they offer a 1 year warranty on their products, they do NOT honor that warranty. I have a sofa bed that is only 8 months old. The entire frame snapped off of the sofa and tore my fabric. It is totally unusable. You would think they would replace it right? Nope - not Ashley Furniture! Instead, they have given me almost a month of runaround, transferring me from one person, one department to another (sometimes in another country even) and not a single person at this company has listened to me, or offered me an acceptable remedy. At first they offered to "ship me the part" so I could fix it myself ! What?? Then they offered to come and take my sofa (my only place of seating) to their shop to "determine if it can be fixed". This was after they had someone come to my apartment and tell me that it could NOT be fixed and that I would be getting a replacement. This company has been an absolute nightmare. I still do not have a usable sofa bed that I spent over $1300 on only 8 short months ago. I have reported them to the consumer protection division of the Md. Attorney General's office who will be taking over the investigation at this point. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a massive headache and tons of wasted time and do NOT shop at this company !!!

Don’t not get furniture from Ashley Stewart they will take your money and have you waiting for furniture for months.They don’t answer the phone and your contract will end before you get your furniture. I purchased furniture at the one on Pulaski in Baltimore.I had to go up there and get ratchet and ghetto for them to give me part of my order.But I wind up getting a refund for my daughter bedroom set cause they thought I was going wait til 01-22-2022 for it and I wasn’t.I got my money back and took that and got a bedroom set from ikea. Plus I got furniture from them and value city and I got all my furniture from value city before I got anything from them. Please don’t get no furniture from them at all.
If I could give them no stars, I would. Where to begin? Our order ran later than 16 weeks. Multiple deliveries were required for a single order and furniture often required repairs or replacement (dings, malfunctioning parts, etc.). Their service quality is terrible. Good luck getting these people on the phone for status updates. The phone often rings forever and even when they do pick up, it's the same old song and dance ("your order will be arriving soon." but never does). The young saleswoman who works here (long dark hair, slight accent), whose name escapes me, was condescending and rude towards me and my wife. Do yourself a favor: find somewhere else to shop for furniture. This is not the place to go.
In August of this year we ordered a bedroom set for our guest bedroom, that was to be delivered the first part of November. We had to pay for it on full the day we ordered. Based on the commitment of the delivery date, we gave away our old guest bedroom set.The bed was delivered on November 5th, but was not set up as the delivery people said it was missing a piece and the warehouse said to send it back, they would add the missing piece, and would then re-deliver the following week.So when we called to check on the delivery, we were informed that THEY HAD SOLD OUR BEDROOM SET TO SOMEONE ELSE AND WE WOULDN'T RECEIVE OURS UNTIL FEBRUARY 2022!! What kind of a business pulls that crap on their customers!? That is the worst treatment I have ever gotten from ANY company!!And now we have no place for my 90 year old mother-in-law to sleep over Thanksgiving!!AND they generally never answer their phone, or they leave you on hold indefinitely. This company is the absolute worst. Stay as far away from them as you can.

Ashley Furniture is the worst i purchased a bedroom set on May 31st 2021 and it has been almost 4 1/2 and i have nothing. No updates unless i call. One person says one thing and another person says something else. I have made several calls to this store and even made a complaint to the corporate office no response
Update! Even worse service today! No couch again. Nobody on Ashley side helped email or phone call and the delivery company manager hung up on me, delivery people gave up after five minutes saying it's bigger than last couch, then started saying crap about me in Spanish not realizing I'm Spanish! HORRIBLE! How do I have friends and family with no issues and this is the sh*t I get?!? I'm baffled. Horrible. Can't say it enough.

First off they never answer the phone. If they do, they always seem frustrated to speak to you. My guess is because so many people try to contact them and they don't respond. If you call the main office they tell you to call the local office. In my case, they have part of my order now for 3 weeks but they don't have the key component of our bed frames...the rails!! Honestly how can rails be back ordered or not part of the bed frame they're designed to work with. Then they told me September I would be able to schedule my delivery. Followed up with them and they say October. Called again today . Now it's mid November!!! For bed rails!!!! I think I only gave 2 stars because I assume the product will be at least decent if I ever get it!!! Probably not though the way things are going already.
Getting the run around about my furniture delivery no answers 2 weeks later sitting on the floor for the time being
I am very disappointed, I ordered furniture and it was scheduled for delivery 9/25. They called me the day of delivery and said the truck broke down and they could not make the delivery, mind you i had already gotten rid of my living room set to make room for this delivery. I have called the store 4 days in a row and they have given me a run around. I have been told my furniture hasn’t been scanned back to the warehouse for a delivery to be scheduled. I talked to someone today and my furniture still hasn’t been scanned but now they can schedule a delivery date but not until next week. I will be without furniture for over a week by then. They have made no accommodations to help get me my furniture any quicker or work with me since I have taken off work once already. They charge you if you are not there for the delivery but they can not come through on their end and the buyer is supposed to just deal with it. Their furniture it nice but not worth this hassle. Corporate really needs to work on the delivery system they have, if there is a mishap on their end they should be the one reaching out and working with the buyer to get it corrected not the other way around.

3.5 star rating is decieving. Based on old reviews. All recent are 1 stars. Purchased $2500 dining set on 9/11 with 9/17 delivery between 8a-12p. 12:30p called store for ETA, rep advised to wait. Called back 17x at 3p, once rep finally answered she said there was nothing they could do--call Mid-Atlantic delivery. Called delivery at 4p, she gave 417p ETA and confirmed I was the first stop so if the ETA is now 417, they likely don't have product on truck but 11p deliveries are also common because drivers can't break until truck cleared. 430p called back for revised ETA, given 459p. Expressed discomfort with 11p delivery and female living alone and called store back. Emailed the customer care web address to escalate, no response. Store rep said delivery rep gave incorrect info. Delivery is between 7a-7p and the schedule was switched making me last without a courtesy call despite confirming the 8 am delivery the night before. Expressed how I missed work waiting and would be charged 3% restock if they came and I wasn't home after waiting 14 hours; she indicted a manager would call back but couldn't speak at the moment because customers were fighting in the store. It's been 2 hours since the 459 ETA was given, so no call back or delivery. I've called the store another 10 times. No answer from store or delivery compensation. No refunds offered, only cancel shih site credit. Now 2 hours after last successful contact, disputing charges with the better business bureau and credit card company for products not recieved.
Horrible horrible customer service. We were scammed into a warranty for our couch. The salesmen promised it would cover any dog damage and any type of fluid damage. We had a flood in our house and the couch was destroyed by the water and our dogs chewing on it. Called the warranty company, who then brought out a tiny bissel vaccum to clean only the tops of the cusions removing no water from the couch. Now it smells moldy. Called them back to fix the problem and now they say they dont cover that kind of damage and we need to talk to ashley. Ashley told us they will not do anything for us and the employee that sold us the warranty no longer works there, so it's not their responsibility. Do not fall for the warranty scam like we did. We spent a lot of money on our couch and the warranty and now its all gone. Ashley should be completely ashamed of themselves for allowing their employees to run scams like this. This company is trash. Thanks for nothing.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced!
I visited your Pulaski Hwy location. I found a sectional I was interested in. I asked where the recliner was and the associate pointed. The rocker recliner was up against the wall. Not at all convenient for trying it out. The price quote I requested was scribbled on a business card. Upon leaving the store I told another associate to have a nice day, they said 'ok'. 🤷🏼♀️ The associates need a refresher course on customer service and courtesy.

The sales manager Eric is a corporate schill who cannot help ypu with everything. The salesperson gave us a warm greeting as we entered the store. Throughout our visit, he was friendly, patient and professional. Those qualities made the sales' process much easier. We were very pleased, because we got what we wanted. We were also pleased to have given the salesperson the sale as well as our business to Ashley HomeStore!
Bought a living-room set and dining set. Back in may almost $6000 spent. Sales rep was M.I.A. we had to hunt one down for service day of purchase. Went to counter to pay. Rep was quick to take the money. Now we are waiting still for our living-room set. Every 2 weeks we called then every weeks to get an update on delivery. The date keeps changing. No clear answers on why a delay and consant changes of delivery date. Not once hasnashleys called us. Iys August now. And nothing. Ridiculous. Ashleys is quick to take that cash but garbage at providing customer service.

Overpriced.
Our furniture came quickly and assembly was efficient. However when I inspected our furniture we found a hole in one of our drawers. I contacted them the same day it was delivered regarding this issue and they said they would process the claim. I have not heard anything from them since .. I call regularly to see when they will get us an replacement and they have no answer. Our furniture was delivered in April... it's now July. We have been very disappointed with the customer support.

8 months....its been 8 months since I have started my warranty claim for a replacement sofa. 5 months dealing with the company GBS that Ashley's likes to push ok everyone, and now over 3 months dealing with Ashleys funiture customer service department who don't have a clue what they are doing and will just keep delaying any information to another date 2-3 weeks later. Then you call again and the same thing happens. Stay as far away from Ashleys and any other store owned by Regency Funtiure.

Where do I even start. My sofa chaise “delivery” was an hour late without any communication. The delivers walked in looked at my doors and said we’re not doing this and left (no measuring, the sofa didn’t even make it off the truck). I call this store and no one answers so I have to drive out here.... I get to the store and there were 5 associates sitting around on their phones. I’m told I can cancel but I still have to pay a 30% restocking fee of the subtotal... despite the associate incorrectly answering my questions asked during the purchase. I’m also told I can’t get the little money I’d get back back until the next day when it’s back in stock. I said it would have been nice had someone answered the phone so I didn’t waste gas to be told something that could have been handled over the phone.. the associate answered well were under staffed (again walked in and saw 5 associate on their phones)I contact corporate and they recommend to call the store manager and request the restocking fee be waived... I call the store manager and wait for a call back in the time frame provided (the call never came so I had to call again). The store manager said she won’t waive the fee but it’s only 30% off the cost of the chaise (completely different price than the sub total I paid but apparently the contract is up to their interpretation as it fits their business). I just walk in and there are 8 associates doing nothing and 1 appearing to work (clearly very understaffed). I was looking forward to using Ashley’s to finish furnishing my home but NEVER AGAIN! Save your money and try Bobs or even IKEA because this store will take your money and that’s about it.
This place is a scam. These people will lie through their teeth to get a sale go anywhere else to get furniture. I went in to get a couch, they didn't have the one I wanted in-stock so they recommended another one. Their radio add promises free shipping but that was a lie. It is only for orders over 2000. I asked what would happen if it didn't fit. "Oh you would just be refunded. " She said. I told them I lived on a small street and the truck probably won't fit down the road. On delivery day they drove the truck down my street and and tore down all my hanging lights. Then they did a half hearted attempt to deliver the couch before giving up. When I called to complain "sorry deliver won't be refunded and we are charging you 3o% to restock." So now I'm out a few hundred and have a smashed up home. They said they would cover the repairs but at this point I'm not counting on it.

The look of Amici sectional in my living room is amazing! However, we bought the 2 piece sectional, and immediately sitting on it felt like it has been in use for couple years. We bought it on 4/18/21, they said that it could take up to 16 weeks to be delivered, and called us literally at the end of following week to schedule the delivery which happened on 5/11. 18 days into using it by 2 adults only, it still looks great. But when you sit on it, it just feels like our 8 years old furniture that we just replaced. So, we tried to convince ourselves that that is just simply the quality of this sectional. We decided actually to add the armless chair the the middle of the sectional to make it bigger. We waited 2 weeks for it. Which is fine. My husband picked it up today at the store. When he brought it home, the quality of the cushion on it is definitely different than the other cushions on our sectional. And it is the whole 1" difference. It's also harder, sturdier, just the way we liked it and what we hoped the new sectional would feel like. We went back to the same store. Talked to the manager. Showed her the pictures and the difference between the cushions. She made a "case". She sent an email to their customer service, along with the pictures we provided. We'll see what happens from here. The thing is we really like the way this sectional looks like. It's just the darn cushions needed to be better quality. I'm actually afraid that since my delivery happened so unexpectedly quick, that somebody actually returned this sectional and they just delivered it to us. Btw, the delivery was a very smooth process. Now, again, this is just what I assume. Based on that just a week prior to them scheduling delivery they had no idea how long will take, and then the cushions looking like they've been in use for quite some time. So, if this is what happens after only 18 days of use by 2 adults only, I would definitely give not even 1 star to it. Even though it looks so beautiful. I hope Ashely Furniture customer service department comes up with the solution to this issue that would work for us. Again, if we hadn't bought that additional chair, and realized the difference in quality, we would have thought that that's the way this sectional is. But, now sitting on that part where the chair goes in the sectional HS anywhere else on it, feels sooooo different. But, here are some things that Elizabeth O'Brien, that's the manager's name, said to us: "since they didn't contact me ( she meant ppl from wherever she sent the email on Saturday) it doesn't give me a hope. Because how can they know someone didn't jump on the furniture!!!!!" I was like, lady, do you see monkeys or 2 serious people in front of you?? What did she think about what life style we live?? And then she also said something like "you get what you pay for" not exactly those words, but that's what it sounded like. To what I said $1800 is not a small amount to pay for an average sectional. On my husband's question about giving us at least a bit hope with "customer is always right" he didn't even finish when she interrupted him with "ok, you're right" but with such attitude. When I purchased furniture last year I went months without furniture and then finally got you guys to give me my money back and then I was able to get something somewhere else the same day. Then my mother just recently purchased furniture the delivery people came was really nasty to my mother in law and said it wouldn't fit through her door and then you say she can't have the furniture she purchased and there will be a 30% restocking fee that's insane. Bought a dining set in the store. They sent the wrong bench and charged me $50 more to basically fix their mistake. They break down items to match the price guarantee but I still paid $50 to get what I ordered originally yet originally paid the correct price overall. Customer service is not a word in their vocabulary. I have been called a liar and put at blame for their mistake which they even told me was theirs on the phone. I bought a dining set, tv stand, couch and oversized chair and ottoman. The living room set I am still waiting for but they told me it could take 16 weeks. The unprofessionalism is unparalleled. If you are lucky enough to get everything ok then good luck to you. I will not spend another dollar with this company. $4000 and I was treated like an enemy. I am extremely happy to buy the rest of the furniture I plan on ordering with another company. All for $50 and the rudeness of your employees. I will also glue the nail heads back in the chairs myself because I can’t even imagine the headache that would cause even with buying protection plans. Ariana is a joke. Liz seemed a little better but still the absolute most combative person to deal with. Do not shop here. Update:Replacement bench that I had to pay an extra $50...extra to paying for the cost of it. They wouldn’t take the bench they put in the wrong order for back. Had a literal 20 min standoff with the delivery guy. Called the store Liz wouldn’t get on the phone but the girl who answered and relayed all the messages for 20 minutes because Liz was busy...for all that time. Way to go Liz. The girl who answered was very empathetic and reasonable. Girl....you are better than Ashley!!!! The delivery guy threatened me because he wouldn’t take the bench I DID NOT ORDER back. I had to ask him to put his mask on and wait outside. If there was a punchline… This would literally be the funniest story I could tell. It’s just sad. 6/2022 I still have the dining set, rarely use so it’s held up. The couch was replaced 6 months later by a crate and barrel. I sold the Ashley one on FB and felt bad for the person who bought it. It was already sagging and very uncomfortable. You could feel the wood in between the cushion and the backing. But it was an “in between” for them.
We got a great deal on new sleeper sectional. Salesman was a great help found us exactly what we needed. They were not pushy at all.

Wonderful experience. I came here after a horrible experience with Bob's Discount furniture in Hunt Valley. From the first minute I called, the woman who answered the phone went above and beyond to assist me. I went into the store that same evening and was able to find what I needed and ordered it. It was delivered within a few days and I could not be happier with the entire process, including the delivery team. I will never buy furniture anywhere besides here. They are excellent!

I was especially impressed with our follow up visit to pick up a picture we had purchased the day before. I was in and out very quickly, thanks to the friendly, pleasant office staff that processed the paperwork and packaged up the picture for transport. You are very fortunate to have Liz on your team to help ensure complete customer satisfaction. Hats off to her and her colleagues who work the desk. Let me start with "better read ALL of the fine print on the back of that invoice". Got a great deal on a floor model package since they couldn't get the sofa. That's about where "great" ended. I took a lot of pictures before we left and unfortunately, it was to no avail. there was some corner damage that I didn't notice until 5 min after the delivery driver left. According to Customer Service "you shouldn't have signed and should have refused delivery and they would have taken it back". Since you signed for delivery, you are out of luck. Customer service then offered advice "next time" to which I could barely refrain from saying "there isn't going to be a next time. Instead of addressing a small issue, they prefer to lose my business forever. Guess they have more business than they can handle which didn't seen the case when the place was deserted and the salesmen said "it's been a slow month".
Ashley Furniture is trash. Its far from quality. Although it may look nice, it doesn't hold up. Do not purchase the protection plan, it is a scam, and they'll make excuses not to cover or fix your furniture. Everything that glitters ain't gold.

Horrible customer service. Don’t believe them when they say your furniture will be delivered with in any sort of reasonable timeline. They promised me I wouldn’t be treated this way and that they would provide me updates - and yet I never get updates. My furniture is now scheduled to be in 15+ weeks after I bought it. I was guaranteed 12 weeks. Awful awful customer service. Do not give them your money.

No pressure. Had a budget...worked with us. Got a bed, dresser, nightstand and high end serta mattress.... $7.00 under budget. Very happy. Our Salesman, Richard, did a great job. Even threw in a plush Serta sheep to close the deal.
I am writing to discuss fraudulent practices by Ashley Furniture Homestores in regards to a purchase made from their Rosedale, MD location. The company has a Lifetime Warranty on their frames and they refuse to honor that warranty, first informing me that the LIFETIME warranty only lasts a year, and then informing me that they refuse to honor it because of "customer use". The warranty on their website specifically states the frames are covered under normal customer use. I have tried contacting them numerous times and continue to be told they won't do anything. They are no ignoring me entirely. If you research Ashley Furniture you'll see the large number of consumer complaints against them for these very reasons. They charged me a $150 service fee to come repair the couch, with no intention of ever doing so. The technician had to "come back" with the correct parts, after which I was told that they would not fix it. I've requested a full refund from them for breach of contract, but they have refused to respond. I'd be happy to discuss this with you further, and hopefully we can get something done about this company doing fraudulent business. So much value and variety
100% NEVER EVER BUY FROM ASHLEY. They provide cheap furniture, which would not be a problem if they had a true warranty system. Instead, GBS wil not answer your claim, or will fight you. I personally filed a claim and never heard anything. When asking ASHLEY, the response is "not our problem". Love the back of their brochure that says Customer Service - From beginning to end we will provide you with the highest level of customer service. WHAT A JOKE!
Everything here looks cheap but isn't
Good evening, I purchased a sectional sofa from the rosedale store in June/July 2019. After 1 to 2 months I noticed the zippers on one of the back cushion&'s is broken, allowing the stuffing to fall out. Could have been that way from the start... but I never looked at the underside. I had a serious car accident in August 2019, and was i injuried and not able to handle anything until March 2020. Which was within the year mark. The color of the sofa is splotchy and all of the cushion&'s became out of shape within 3 to 4 months. When I contacted the store in March via email, I was told once they opened back up after COVID, they would reach out to fix the situation. In July I got a phone call from the store saying they couldn&'t do anything since it was after the year. They sent me 2 cushion&'s, the bottom ones... which doesn&'t help with the broken zipper... because that one is a back cushion. (Which is attached and couldn&'t be replaced.) I have call and emailed multiple times and they ignore or hung up. This is just sad and far from good business practice.
I would give a 0 star if it was an option . They are puch of liars working there to scam your money. I placed in and order 3 months ago for 10k . Which they said only would take 4-6 weeks . After 3 months they can not fulfill the order . Making an excuses over manger knows about this but he isn’t available. And if I want refund they want 30 % restocking fee . Just cause they couldn’t gmfill up my order . Friendly advise shop elsewhere. Don’t stuck your money in this store
High prices
Where do I begin. Customer service was great until there was an issue with the delivery, then their customers service skills went out to the door. Never mind we are in a PANDEMIC and the third party vendor think its ok to enter people homes without shoe coverings. I have kids and I will not let any one enter my home without foot covers. My own family doesn't even enter my home with their shoes on. Once this was addressed to the store customer service was not a priority. $1,600 was spent so this is no chump change. I wish I would have known this was going to be the experience I would have never spent my hard earned money there. I wish I could give 0 Stars!

Initially I intended to just pop in an do some quick browsing however I ended buying that impressive bed and mattress. The sales associate was extremely helpful and I think it was a good deal. Will definitely be going back without a doubt.

Honestly, I was most worried about delivery since most of the recent reviews were based on that (of course due to covid). We visited Ashley's on about 3rd week of August and Richard assisted with everything that we needed for our new home! We ordered a bedroom set and a couch and made sure everything we ordered were in-stock. Richard ensured we would get them on the exact date we were moving in and it happened! The delivery crew were very diligent and quick at their task. We are overall very satisfied with the purchase. I'm not sure if we got lucky to get away with our furnitures arriving on time but for us it was an amazing experience!
Sales people are to pushy
We have had the absolute worst customer service. Every time I call they are getting frustrated with me; because I’m asking for an update on my delivery. The sofa was originally purchased in July. When we placed the order they said 6-8 week lead time, I understood and placed the order. I called back 6 weeks later, they said the sofa was expected in August 24. I started prepping for the sofa to call, called today, they said IT WOULDNT SHIP UNTIL SEPTEMBER 28. I have received zero emails, zero calls, zero texts, in regards to my order. They have been ignoring my calls. I would most definitely shop somewhere else. Do not buy anything from Ashley furniture, we have had the WORST customer service. We ordered our products at the end of JUNE and we haven't received one e-mail, text, or call about the product. The associates at the Middle River location have been so frustrated with me and have the worst attitude when i call. No one picks up and i end up having to call 2/3 times and waiting on hold for 10+ min to ask for an update. I emailed corporate 3 times, with no response! Save your money and time, and do not purchase from them. The sofa set we ordered was supposed to be delivered the end of August, again i received ZERO info regarding my order, i called Aug 28, because my order was supposed to ship Aug 24, and they advised my order wouldn't ship until SEPTEMBER 28!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also am unable to cancel it until Sept 8. Save your money, time, and frustration. They are probably going bankrupt and are just holding orders. I was told to reach out to corporate, and i have several times with no response ! good luck
It’s how a company handles the issues that defines them. Anyone can be nice and polite when they’re trying to sell you something. Notice, most of the 5 star reviews are pre-sale, which is complete when it’s delivered. But look at the 1 star reviews. There’s a pattern here and that’s the concern. Bad service and furniture that is CONSTANTLY VERY LATE. They did the same to me. Ordered a couch and it ended up being almost 2 months late. Their standard response....”let us take a closer look at this”. I’m amazed anyone still buys furniture here. If you do, I wouldn’t count on it being on time and I hope you and all your visitors are comfortable sitting on the floor. I’ve since tried La-Z-Boy. Better service all around, from sales, to service & delivery, and ON TIME. Customer reps were very helpful long AFTER the sale. Had an issue with a recliner. It was fixed under warranty, ON TIME. But warranties are only as good as the company standing behind them. Read all of these complaints. Are you comfortable with what you’re reading?

Bed, nightstands, dresser with mirror, high dresser, bench, and the vanity and chair. Also the king size extra firm mattress. First week I found a split in the beam of the headboard, next the king extra firm mattress began to sag. It took repeated calls and 8 months to exchange the beam. 9 months to send someone out to look and measure the sag of the mattress.They wouldn't rectify a less than a year purchase of an extra firm king mattress. Clearly it is sagging, even the tech they sent out confirmed it. It folded up when he took it off the bed. Ashley said it is not a manufacturer's defect. So they are saying it's my fault the mattress is sagging. I am 6 feet tall and I weigh 238lbs. I won't do business with them again. They have lost a valuable customer. I advise you to spend your money for furniture somewhere else. Try Lazy-boy furniture that is where I am going.

Love it but still waiting for furniture
At this point, we have been waiting for our couch for THREE MONTHS. You have read that correctly. When we ordered the couch, they told us 2-6 weeks. Every time we call, there is a new reason for why we can neither learn our delivery date or we are given a delivery date that is either a few days or a few weeks later. This is ridiculous!
Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced!!! Their delivery guys said they couldn't bring my couch upstairs (there are 5 elevators in the building, they tried one and refused to try again). When I called the store, they finally answered the phone after not responding for three days. They want to charge me nearly $400 for restocking fee, even though their guys were too lazy to try another elevator and took my couch with them!!! If I pick a different couch, they said it will take up to 4 weeks for it to be delivered (If it's in stock, if not then longer). Meanwhile, I have no furniture but a dining table and a bed and I can't buy a couch anywhere else because they still got my money. What a ridiculous company!! I regret ever entering the store! Please, don't purchase anything there!
I was going to write a long review but I&'ll just sum it up to this: if you find something that you like in this store, do a quick google search of the name of the furniture and you&'ll find it somewhere else for way less(to be clear I mean less then their sales price). You can find the name of the furniture on their website because they don&'t display information about the furniture in the store.Example: a couch in this store will be priced at $5400 with a sale of 50% off plus 10% off(not the same as 60% off) which brings the price to $2430 plus tax and delivery. If you search online for the same couch at a different store( like Best Buy) you&'ll more than likely find it for under $2000. The price difference obviously varies per item but the point is that you should look around before buying here because they jack the price up.
I’m a big fan of this store thanks to Victor and Ariana. I didn’t feel pressured into buying what I didn’t want or what I couldn’t afford. The price was significantly cheaper than VCF with delivery! I’ll be going back sooner than I planned to finish furnishing my house.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Ordered a couch almost a month ago. Was told it was going to be delivered within a week. Then received a call that their system had a glitch and the couch was actually out of stock. I’ve called every couple days and have gotten different answers as to when the delivery will be, each answer pushing the delivery date a couple days forward. Employees that are not willing to help and would rather place the blame on somebody else instead of remedying the situation. Terrible communication, terrible service. Will be canceling the order and I suggest you avoid this company at all costs possible.
The wife and I came to buy a dining room table, that we had been looking at on line. Mike greeted us immediately upon entering door. He was very helpful, he had tremendous knowledge of the various pieces of furniture we inquired about. He informed us of sales price as well. Mike reminded us of finance options that we could take advantage of as well. We ultimately not only brought a different table that he showed us off the showroom floor, we also brought a couch and loveseat as well. We always enjoy Ashley Furniture and will continue to purchase our furniture needs from them.

My family and I visited the Pulaski Hwy showroom hoping to replace our basement furniture. We were helped by Richard who found us the perfect couch and recliner that fit our space specs. I visited the golden ring store and the salesman and manager were great. They gave me a great deal on a power loveseat and sofa. Then another great deal on a dining room set. Will shop there again for sure.

The furniture we picked out and received is great quality but we had issues with the delivery. We paid for the delivery of the furniture and when we received it one of the pieces of our sectional was broken. They offered to bring it back and switch out the broken piece but told us if we wanted the new piece to be delivered that it wouldn’t be until the next week even though it wasn’t our fault that the piece had been broken. After the movers left I got home and noticed that they chipped our door in multiple places while taking it off of the hinges & the door frame was banged up and broken in multiple places from the couch being brought in. My neighbors told me that they saw the movers not being careful with the furniture while bringing it from the truck into our house. Overall, we did not receive great service from the company.
My sales rep Muhammad was very professional and helpful. He was very knowledgeable of his store and was able to get me the best deal for living room furniture. I highly recommend this location. The inventory is great and Muhammad’s customer service skills are superb.

I visited Ashley Furniture Homestore in Rosedale Md to purchase a sofa..The salesperson(Sunshine*) was very helpful in selecting the sofa..Delivery was on time as stated .However, the sofa had some flaws and was returned to the factory. I did receive another sofa within a week. The workmanship was not as great as i expected.
Leroy Lamotta provided excellent service with his warmth, and transparency in allowing me to understand my options and taking the time to learn what I wanted and needed. Leroy focused on finding me the right furniture for me as oppose to making a purchase that doesn't benefit me. My family and I bought a long sectional couch. I worked with Mr. Leroy LaMotta and his service and patience with us as we were trying to figure out colors and measurements was impeccable. He made us feel like we were the only ones in the store. He gave us the best service and took care of all of our questions and concerns. While my husband and I were going over options, trying to sort things out and pondering over our decisions, Mr. Leroy would give us our space, deal with other clients and knew just when to come back to to check in with us. By far he's one of the best sales reps that we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Most importantly, we never felt pressured, persuaded or pushed to make a decision that we were uncomfortable with and that is something that you dont get often when you are out shopping for furniture. Love my new sectional couch it looks great in my basement, its great quality and loved my experience working with Mr. Leroy. Would highly recommend him and the store to all my family and friends.

I bought furniture here 2 years ago. They took about 2 1/2 months to send my furniture. When they delivered the furniture was dinged and banged up. They offered me two hundred dollar store credit that i never used. The process of trying to find out what happened to my furniture was awful. It looks like they were blowing me off avoiding my phone calls and when They did talk to me they were very rude. I would never buy furniture from here again. I recently found another furniture store at security mall and they had the same exact table I got and it was in better condition//much cheaper. Ashley furniture is not all that. I’m just waiting for them to go out of business just like all those other crappy chain stores.

He was very nice and extremely helpful always in site but not a bother. upon purchasing when something came up that he wasn't sure of he got a very nice young lady named Ariana, who helped us out tremendously with the best purchasing option for us, and she and Mr. Leroy answered all of our questions professionally. My husband and I stopped in this Ashley store more than once on our quest for family room furniture. Each time we were greeted promptly and friendly by a sales associate. We were not followed or harassed, however, a sales associate was easily found to answer questions when needed. We were torn between a sofa set from a competitor store so we made repeated stops to Ashley to help us decide. Once we decided on our purchase, we called our associate to place our order and only spent 10 minutes in the store paying the bill and getting our receipt! Delivery is expected in 2 weeks! Can’t wait to sit on our new sofa and loveseat.

I just wanted to share my experience with customer service rep Muhammad Zain. I first spoke with him over the phone regarding a online delivery price for a product I was interested in. He explained to me the difference in the online prices for delivery and in the instore. He advised me of what the pricing would be if purchased instore and welcomed to help me when I came into the store. To my suprise he was there to greet me with a friendly smile like he knew who I was. I ask to see Muhammad and that I had called earlier right away he knew who I was and what I was there for. Without any pressure but a sincere interest he helped me complete my purchase sharing all options with me. He made me feel real comfortable and it was my pleasure working with him. Seam stitching on two of my sectional back cushions is coming apart and this hasn't been in my house a month and they wont take care of this because I picked it up from the warehouse. Inconsiderate..bad customer service..worst products ever. I also scrolled through and see that you just ignore rotten reviews and praise good ones. I have the invoice and the tag from the furniture that covers product defects in cushions for 1 year. It says nothing about that being voided because I picked it up. I'll be phoning corporate this week. Update 2/1- thanks for the great response and customer service with my issue Ashley..said no one ever. I sewed up up my couch in the faulty seams by hand today.

My husband furnished our new apartment in Baltimore Harbor He spent 9,000$ Totally furnished. At Ashley Furniture, now 8 months later the couch is peeling and cracking. Wear and tear we are in our 70s no babies no grandkids.I went back to store manager Victor great. He said nothing could be done. We called corporate office. I am told floor model Full Price) not returnable. We paid 500$ % year warranty and told not for fabric of couch. This is unacceptable. I will fight this to the end. ilene glick

False advertisement, one day one rep gives me one price the next day different pers3and Manager gives me another price. Ashleys website staes they price match but they do not as the website show. Very bad customer service. Ashleys charged me delivery fee even though i picked the furniture up with my own truck. I would not recommend supporting Ashley's furniture, purchase from a different company. Do not know how to treat customers. False advertisement just to get you in the store.

Deceitful and Deliberate Rip-Off Went to the store to find a sectional, and buy it that day. A salesman met me at the door and pointed me in the right direction, informing me of their "half off" sale. I found the sectional I was looking for and... wow!!! It was over double the online listed price on Ashley's website. Confused and thought I might have been looking at the wrong product, I tried to find a sales person. Nobody was to be found. I guess because I wear a carhartt coat and jeans I was just a time wasting tire kicker; there was no way I had $3k in cash and ready to buy anything. I went back to make sure the product was the same I found online and that's when I noticed the product number was backwards on the slip in order to make it difficult to price their furniture. I checked a few other items to confirm. It was correct. The first few letters are changed to numbers, the last numbers also change, center numbers are backwards. Even after the "half off," prices were still several hundred dollars above the online price. I'm not sure if this is all Ashley Homestore's, but I was not taking a chance on a company and deliberately tries to deceive customers with sales on inflated prices and changing product numbers to add confusion. I bought my furniture elsewhere and saved nearly $1000.00. I gave them 2 stars because at least someone pointed me in the right direction and did me the favor of not being around to convince me to buy.
I wanted to upgrade my bedroom suite and through a lot, I mean a lot of online research I found Ashely Home Store had what I was looking for. I searched other stores (Macy's, Pottery Barn, Value City, etc.) but could not get what I wanted that was within my budget. My husband and I decided on visiting Ashley Home Store to see and feel the bedroom suite I saw online and if they had any good deals. We went of black Friday, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Jazmin. We told her what we were looking for, and she took us around untile I found what I was lookiing for. Lo and behold, there it was the bedroom suite of my dreams. Jazmin said that if we made a purchase on anything in the showroom we would get a 60% discount. What a deal. We went for the whole enchilada (king size bed, dresser and mirror, chest, end tables, box spring and mattress--the most comfortable I have ever layed in) for a bargain. I was immediately sold; but I was really impressed me the most was their customer service...it was one of the best I have experienced given that it was on black Friday. I definetely come back to Ashley Home Store and would recommend it to all my friends.

This is part 1 of a review. The shopping experience only. Devon was my sales associate and he was great! I had a whole dining room and living room to furnish. I would ask him to rearrange the furniture in the store so we could match it so I could see what it would look like in my new house, and he did!! The store was having a sale that day so I got great deals and was able to get everything I need to furnish both the living room and the dining room and some things for my walls also. After reading some of the reviews, I am honestly concerned about the delivery process. I&'m hoping I get everything that I picked out in the timeframe as promised all on the same day. (2 items were floor models). So this is just part one. So far so good. Thank you Devon!

It Bites Big time
I've never posted a bad review before, but I just wanted to make people aware of this store. Absolutely the worst customer experience I've ever received. I waited more than 8 weeks for my order to come in, and then it came incorrectly with some damaged items. I was also charged more for the order, and I'm still waiting for a refund. This has been a terrible experience. I will certainly not go back to Ashley again.

I am in the process of buying a home, and I cannot have anything new on my credit report. I explained this several (6) times to the sales person, Sunshine. She insisted that a credit check was not necessary for a program where you pAY $39 AND THEN HAVE 100 DAYS TO PAY IT OFF. My intention was to pay the $39 and then come in with cash and pay it off after my settlement date Nov 26th. I had to fill out a form and take it back to the finance desk where I again asked if there is a credit check and explained, again, why I could not have a credit check at this time. Another salesman heard me, and whispered something into the finance person's ear and walked away. The finance person then said that yes, a credit check is ran to see how much I approve for. If I would have let her continue, I could have lost my house. Also, Sunshine, the sales rep, did not explain any of that to me about approval. My son and I spent almost 2 hours in there picking out my living room furniture. It was a complete waste of my time. I was so angry when I left that store and I will never step foot in that location again. I did, however, go to the Ashley in Bel Air, where I was treated wonderfully, and ended up buying a completely different living room set that I will be much happier with. I took cash this time to purchase. I highly recommend Mike and Eric at the Bel Air location. Super service!

This is a great store with friendly people. I was greeted at the door by Leroy a friendly and knowledgeable sales person. He directed me to what I was looking for and then backed away leaving me time to talk with my wife about the sectional we were considering. After a few minutes he came back over to us and talked to us about the quality of the furniture as well as answered a few questions I had. He then backed away giving us plenty of space to think and talk. We decided to buy the sectional at what we thought was a good price. The woman who checked us out was pleasant and did a nice job as well. I left the store feeling great. The next day I looked on the Ashley website because I wanted to see a picture of my new purchase. The sectional was listed for $200 less than I’d paid 12 hours before. I drove back over to the store where once again I was greeted by a friendly sales person. I told him about my situation and he directed me to customer service. They immediately adjusted the price and refunded me the $200. The only reason Ashley doesn’t get 5 stars is because they should know their prices and not allow a customer to overpay on an item like I did. Otherwise this is a great store with great people. I would recommend it to anyone if they are shopping for reasonably priced, good quality furniture.
I found out the store and online share the same name but the store is a franchise. I wanted to purchase what I saw online in store and pick it up to avoid the high delivery fee but since they operate differently, it made better financial sense for me to go with the online option. We recently purchased a home and were looking to furnish several rooms. We visited Ashley Homestore - Rosedale to see if anything in their inventory would suit our needs. We had visited another store that day and left without making a purchase. We were greeted by Mr Michael Bonincontri. He was a very kind and patient salesman. There were no pressure tactics employed. He continued to tell us to take our time and not to feel pressured because his goal was that we leave the store happy and satisfied. We ended up purchasing sets for three rooms. We were very pleased with Mr Bonincontri and appreciated not feeling pressured or ignored. He afforded us time to make our decision without lurking around as many salespeople do. We had a very pleasant experience and would visit Ashley again to work with Mr Bonincontri.
The worst... Bedroom set delivered with damage and now we have been waiting for approximately two months for our dining set to be delivered. Each time you call, the date is pushed back..

Took well over a month to get our furniture! They kept give up wrong dates of when we would receive it and every time we checked in it got pushed back later and later. Then they didn’t follow through with their delivery times. Never checked in, never gave an honest answer. I will never purchase furniture from here again. Too careless of a company to order from!
If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. I had furniture delivered last weekend. 1st, the bed was delivered with damage to it...2nd, I ordered 2 mattresses with the bed...one for the bed purchased, and one for another bed. They brought 1 in the WRONG size. It is a week later and I still do not have a delivery date set for the correct size. Not only have they not called me back ONCE, every time I call they tell me they have notes in the system that I am supposed to be picking it up! NOT ONCE did I ever imply or indicate that was picking it up or was able to pick up a mattress from a warehouse!!!! THEN they had the audacity to tell me that there was a DELIVERY CHARGE for the correct merchandise after they brought the incorrect the 1st time - WHAT KIND OF OPERATION ARE THEY RUNNING?!?!?!?!?!?! Lastly - - - The mattress I paid for was more expensive than the one I need and for some reason I am paying EXACTLY the same price for a TWIN mattress as the FULL one......that is some serious BS. I have called corporate to speak with a manager and apparently there is a 24/48 hour turn around time to even get a call back!!! I will NEVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN!
Last May , 2019,I bought all my furnitures for my new house in this branch at Pulaski Highway because it is very near my address. My sales rep Dajah was the best sales rep ever. She was very patient and her convincing sales power is awesome. Mohammed, the manager was equally helpful to us. However, we had lots of issues afterwards. I ordered a complete dining set and only chairs were delivered and the table was missing. The table was delivered late and it has a damage. It was replaced later. This mistake delayed our housewarming. This is my greatest concern..... All costumers of Ashley who used Synchrony for financing, please take note of my complaint. Check your statement account because, you might be robbed of huge amount of money. Here is the story... I opened an account with Synchrony for my appliances w/c is payable in 60 months without interest. Lo and behold, as per my Financial Statement, I should pay a due amount of $321.00 and incurred an interest of &222.78 when I should be only paying $157.17 without interest based on my contract with Ashley. Is that fair? I felt I am robbed of my hard earned money. I called Synchrony and was told to contact Ashley to rectify the mistake. I called twice and nothing was done. Synchrony employees were helpful and advised me to go to the store to address the issue. My contract specified that it is payable for 60 months WITHOUT INTEREST. The lady claiming to be a manager told me that they will address the issue on Monday because the Finance officer was on leave. Dont they have an asst Finance Officer that will address the issue asap that has been questioned since last week? Attention owner of this Ashley branch, please train your managers and other staff on proper relationship with costumer. They are so cold in dealing with me. Teach them how to smile a little bit. If I did not review my statement of account , I will be robbed of undue interest. Tell your managers to be careful with transactions that will make costumers pay more money they don't need to pay. I like Ashles products very much but this time, I regret doing business with this Ashley , Pulaski branch because of those people who are so CARELESS and dont have concern to costumers who brings money to the company that pays their salaries.I was really upset with what they did with my account. Ashley Costumers out there, check your Statement of Account, you might also be paying money you don't need to pay. Again, the owner of Ashley in Pulaski Highway, please take note of this big mistake, investigate and make person who did this BIG MISTAKE accountable for this unacceptable act and help me resolve this on the soonest possible time. I am so mad and upset with this. It consumed so much of my time and energy.
Not a very friendly store.
From the moment entering the door, I felt welcome. I was asked did I needed help, said what I was looking for and the store was mine to ponder. The salesman (Richard) kept checking to see if I was ok and needed any help. After my shopping around and picking out what I wanted. I generously helped by Richard and the ladies behind the checkout desk. I walked out very pleased with selections and the wonder customer service that I received. Ashley HomeStore is now my personal furniture store. Thank you for knowing how to treat your customers.
Save yourself a headache and buy somewhere else, horrible customer service, bait and switch tactics on products, and had to wait over a month to deliver. Bought a mattress from here and the receipt only said &"queen mattress&". I confirmed with the salesperson that this was the mattress we were looking at and even had him write out the name and description on the receipt. Luckily I still wasn&'t sure so I snapped photos of the bed and model on mattress tag. Oh and they have this great policy of not scheduling a delivery until after your order is in the warehouse and guaranteed 5days wait once it at the warehouse because they&'re always backed up.Mattress arrived and was a cheaper model I could even find it online for cheaper than what they charged so didn&'t accept delivery. Called them to ask them to deliver the mattress I ordered and they went back and forth that was the mattress you ordered. Finally they went back and looked at the floor model and said that is a more expensive mattress and costs $200 more....looked up online and again found that model number for a cheaper price than what they quoted.Ok, just cancel my order and give me a refund and I&'ll buy it online for cheaper. They have the nerve to say NO Refunds (I don&'t have a mattress at this point). Probably should have just filed a chargeback with my CC company but paid the additional charge. Did they try to rush my order? No, waited another 3 weeks (arrived at their warehouse but again another 4 day wait for their earliest delivery) oh I forgot they don&'t tell you what time of day they&'re going to deliver until the day before for a 4hr window so you basically have to take the whole day off to wait for them.Bought a leather couch set from Ashley too but never again. I hope this post saves someone from going through what I went through.
Today I walked into Ashley HomeStore knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase, and with the double check of dimensions and details by Victor, him and the rest of the staff had me in and out with no hassle in a matter of minutes, with all questions answered. Very friendly, helpful staff at this location. 5 stars, highly recommend!!
Very bad customer service.We had defective sofa with lumps and bubs that appeared after a few months. They send out 3 different people to look at the problem. They aggreed that the sofa if defective but we still getting the run around from everyone we speak too .Aya Amin the manager never calls back .You cant be that busy for hours and days to resolve a dissatisfied customer.They sell disposable furniture and no customer service. The managers snd customer service needs to learn how to talk to customers and not talk back with no resolutions. SHOP ELSEWHERE!!

I am so frustrated with this store!! Waited almost 6 weeks for new living room furniture to be delivered and the delivery people broke the frame on the sectional and didn’t even tell us. Then they tried to deliver a soaking wet ottoman. Now they say it may take another 6 weeks. When we called the store, they never even apologized or offered to compensate us in anyway! Additionally, the sectional is not configured as it was ordered. There is a long section and a shorter section, they got it backwards. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again!!
Really good people inside they’ll get you a great deal most of the time, however after you have ordered your furniture the people you deal with after that are very frustrating. You can hear them laughing on the phone the delay your order without giving you a heads up. I love the furniture just wish there was people there that were more helpful for delivery date.

Today, my boyfriend, Erik, and I went in to purchase our first set of furniture for our new home that we just recently moved into. Devon was our salesman, and he was extremely helpful and patient with us as we changed our minds one what we wanted a million times! He also worked with us and our budget. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and the young women who made a million phone calls for us to make this all of possible! Thank you so much, guys! Cannot wait to get our new furniture.
Majority of mattress didn't have price on them, and the ones that did have the price were over priced. Sales people weren't interested in helping unless you looked at the expensive beds.

Store is massive with a huge selection. I was offered help from several associates. My only complaint is the pricing. Everything was half off. But below about $1600 you have to pay for shipping.. prices were cheaper on Amazon.

As a Manager of a business, I am more than dissapointed at the way my family has been treated. We purchased bedroom furniture for my daughter and have been treated horribly from tje time our damaged furniture arrived at our house. 3 times they have attempted to deliver our furniture, and 3 times they brought the damaged product. We have left message after message for management to call, and we have not received anything. Every peice of furniture by another company has delivered a quality product. We are now taking Ashley Furniture to small claims court. Maybe a subpoena may get their attention. I wish I could give 0 stars.
NEVER BUY in ASHLEY. I guess I have to give at least 1 rating to post this review. My worst experience ever and my last visit to any Ashley. It's not about this particular store but the whole chain of stores in and around Baltimore. We bought couple recliners in 2014 and took 100$ insurance. We didn't use it though. We bought some furniture in 2017 and were given store credit as we had to return one of night stands. That furniture had small scuffs and we were given 75$ gift card. It said it expires in 6 months. So we went to Bel-Air store to use it and they said gift cards never expire. The store rep took the card back into their office and came back and said he marked as expiration removed. 2 years later recently we went to buy our furniture for secondary bedroom and wanted to use the gift card along with store credit for one of the returned item. They said the gift card doesn't have balance despite showing it has 75$ when checked online. I had to go through multiple corporate calls with no luck. They never answer calls. They will say manager calls back but no luck. Finally I gave up on that $75. We ordered a bed and dresser and they applied store credit. The 100$ insurance we paid back in 2014 is available to use and we wanted to apply to this order. They said they can't apply as the 2014 order was under my name and 2017 order was under my wife's name. It doesn't make sense even though the orders are for same household. So, we asked them to split our current order into multiple invoices and apply them. They said that they have to charge delivery for both even though we are getting them delivered the same time to same house which again doesn't make sense at all. Finally we ended up paying 140$ extra over the loss. This is my last purchase ever with Ashley. WORST EVER.

Very nice place!!! When my son and I walked in we were greet and given a flyer. Leroy was so kind and easy to work with he wasnt trying to push me to get nothing so helpful!!!
We went in looking for a specific table and chair set we saw online. Once we got to the store we found out the table comes in another color but without matching chairs. Devonne worked with us to find matching chairs, moving things around so we could visualize it. He was patient and accommodating and we will definitely go back to him for future furniture needs.
I heard good things about Ashley furniture, so when my wife and I bought our first home we went straight there. We purchased a living room set and bedroom set in March. The furniture was delivered two weeks after (second week of April) we purchased it and within 4 days the chair was splitting on one side. I called the store immediately and was told to take a picture of the issue and send it. I did that and when someone from the store called me back, they said "Oh it just needs extra fabric, I will set it up and send out a tech. " I tried to explain, that it wasn't the fabric that was missing, the entire side of the chair was coming apart ( I can fit my arm down the side). Anyway, the earliest a technician could come out was in May (second week), so I had to have a broken chair for 4 weeks before someone even came out to see it. The tech comes in and literally looks at it and says, " Oh this needs an entire new side!!!" Well, duh! I knew that. He then continues to state that he will order the new side and call when it arrives. So its now the third week of May and my chair is still broken. I call to say it was delivered and I need to set up a technician to come out. Well the earliest a technician can come to my house is July 15th!!!! I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in this furniture and the customer service. I spent thousands of dollars on this furniture and I also pay for the protection plan and I have to wait almost FOUR MONTHS to get my chair fixed. I have also sent TWO emails to the store and have not received a response. Needless to say, I am beyond frustrated with Ashley Furniture. I am calling and asking for a NEW chair to be delivered and if that does not happen I will return my furniture and NEVER return. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
My rep Sunshine was super friendly and professional. She is a perfect example of outstanding customer service. Very knowledgeable and patient. The only professional who greeted us when entering the store. I would have left if it was not for sunshine. It seems I was profiled due to my appearance. I was not dressed in my normal business attire,due to me just purchasing my home, running many house errands, i was any normal house clothes. I was in a rush to get furniture immediately, because I got rid of all my old furniture. I came in due to a coupon that was mailed to me welcoming me to the community and offering 60% off. I was there quite sometime because of the particular measurements i needed for my living room, I had become frustrated, but Sunshine reassured me we would find something, which we did. Thank you Sunshine! As a Property Manager I know the value of good customer service. I made my purchase under B. Gray if you need to verify my actual purchase.
The other month I bought a lovely sectional from Ashley's. I am so pleased! I had shopped around at some of the more expensive stores where the cost of the sectional was twice as much after their meager Memorial Day "sales". I looked at the fabric options, the construction, and the cushion fill and I was much more impressed with what I saw at Ashley's. Many thanks to Liz O for all her help!!

Liz o’Brien Was excellent! Not pushy but knew about the merchandise and was very accommodating. We were there early and told her that we would be back. When we returned she thanked us for returning. My husband was in auto sales for over 20 years and the “be back” customers who actually do return are few. We would definitely return because of the excellent service!
I was helped but Victor at the Rosedale location and he did a stellar job. Frequently asked if we needed help or had questions, but was not bothersome or too pushy. Got an excellent deal on furniture for our new home and will definitely be coming back for our next pieces.
The in store Senior Sales Associate - Michael Bonincontri, was extremely helpful and attentive in assisting us in finding and pricing the right Dining room set. the service and attention were quick and professional. A week or so later, the delivery happened at our home location. Again, it all went very smoothly. They had all of the right furniture, the delivery guys were prompt, efficient, and professional when they showed up to deliver and assembler the furniture. It was our first time shopping and making a furniture purchase from Ashley, and it was high marks all around!!
My family and I had a great experience at Ashley. Our salesperson, Liz, was patient and welcoming from the start and made us feel at home while we were looking around. She helped us narrow down our choices and was always available for questions (and we had plenty!). The staff at this store was great - furniture shopping is always a dreadful task - but they made it smooth and seamless for us. I would DEFINITELY return and always go to Liz.
So to start off I was greeted immediately as I walked in the door by Liz she was very nice and formal, from then on she was outgoing and helped me find the furniture of my liking. After going through some options on the screen we settled on a sofa sleeper and center table. For sure a good buying experience definitely recommend this place for all your furniture needs. Liz was my sales associate and she was the most pleasant person. She was professional and went beyond to help me find the exact pieces I needed. In addition to going beyond she wasn’t pushy like most sales associates. I didn’t even plan to purchase anything today even though I needed these pieces badly. They were so patient with us and our little ones as we tried to find the furniture we wanted. My wife and I didn’t feel pressured to hurry with our decision because Liz and Colby were so patient. We were so grateful for our experience with them and at this store. We highly recommend this location and consultants if you need furniture.
We made a trip out to Ashley HomeStore just to check some options out for our newly purchased home. Upon walking in we were greeted by Liz (sales). Liz, outlined the layout of the store and let us wander around. Whenever we had a question Liz was readily available to answer. After a full walk through of the options Liz helped us envision pricing options and available packages to get what we wanted combined into one sale. We ended up checking off a large part of our to do list all in one trip! Liz (sales) and Lauren (CSR) helped close out the deal during check out. They were both very friendly and informative. The ladies messed up on the total, overcharged by $22, then the they all ran to the back , which seem shady for like 15 mins, i dont like that one bit!!!
I worked with Michael Bonincontry to purchase a bed I found on the website and fell in love with. Michael was very easy to work with and never pressured me. After I showed him a picture of the bed from the website he found it immediately on the sales floor. The price was EXCELLENT!!!!!! I still cannot believe how much I paid. Once the bed is delivered I plan on returning to purchase the dresser. Hopefully I can work with Michael again.
Do not waste your time and money on the store. We ordered our bed since March of this year and we’ve been told by the store the bed will be delivered between 2-6 weeks and it’s June now and our bed is not here yet. What a joke! It’s been 13 weeks since we bought our bed and we didn’t get it yet! They always have issues. From the store to the warehouse. Manger of store Brittney was not helpful at all, in fact was rude. 1st, time we spoke to here she told us “it is what it is”. Lol. What a joke! 2nd time we spoke with her, she hung up on us and gave us the wrong number to Ashley’s corporate office when we asked for it. 2 weekends were wasted where we had to stay in the house to get our bed, but we never got it. 1st Weekend, they delivered the wrong bed, and 2nd weekend they forgot the “hardware” for the bed. I mean how stupid is that? We call to complain to customer service and they were not helpful, we spoke to the store manger Brittney and she was not helpful at all and we also spoke to their warehouse corporate and the woman we spoke to was also rude and not helpful. So, please do not make the same mistake that we did. All they care about is selling their furniture and not delivering it.
With poor customer service, undependable delivery scheduling, lack of communication and hidden fees I would never shop here again. They said the furniture would be delivered in 3-4:days but was going to take closer tone weeks. When cancelled I was told there was a 10% restock fee and that a brand new, never opened mattress cover (in original wrapping) could not be returned once it left the building. None of that was told in advance of purchase. Not first time I was disappointed with their service but will be the last.
My husband and I recently bought a house! To our greatest disappoint our current couch would not fit through the door to our new home leaving us is quite a predicament. We decided to go to Ashley’s to see what options they had. I was a bit hesitant to go here because of a past experience my family has had with the overall company. Upon entering the building we were warmly greeted my Liz. We explained our situation and with that she told us to look around while she did some research. When she came back she have us multiple options of couches that met our wants and that came apart for easy access through our small door. Liz was so patient with us as we all hung out on different couches and recliners to get the feel of the right one for us. After we decided she gave us all of our financing options and made it work! That was 4 days ago, and just like that my couches should be here any moment. If need some furniture go hang out with Liz. She’s awesome.
We had such a positive experience at Ashely HomeStore and specifically with Sunshine! She was a no pressure sale person that let us look around, take our time and ask questions with no pressure. We had 3 kids with us and we never felt like anyone judged us when they were a little loud or when they needed us as we spoke with salespeople. We did end up purchasing what we wanted at the price we wanted but even if we left without purchasing anything I would leave a positive rating because it was a comfortable environment to browse furniture in!
We were looking for a sleep sofa. Our sales person, Victor, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in showing us all available options. He provided information about each piece we looked at so that we could make an informed decision. He was able to answer all of our questions. We felt absolutely no pressure, and he allowed us time to think over what we wanted to do. We will definitely return to Ashley for any future furnishing needs for our home.

We purchased a dining room set from Ashley’s and had great customer service in the store when we purchased our table, no problem there. We opted for pick up instead of delivery and our table was ready within 6 weeks as promised. The problems started when we went to assemble the table. Half way through we notice that a large piece of the barstool bench was missing from the box. We called customer service and was transferred 3 times before getting back to the warehouse service center. They didn't seem to care that a large piece was missing but went ahead and said the missing piece would be delivered within 10 business days. Inconvenient but fine, we’ll wait for the piece. We move forward with assembling the rest of the chairs when we realize one of the parts is noticeably more slanted than the rest and therefore will not piece together (they’re metal legs). I call them again and I’m given a lousy “yes, yes I’m sorry I know...” and told that we have to take the part back to the warehouse so they can “inspect it”. I ask what they do after they “inspect it” and the customer service rep says “well I’m not sure that’s not my area of expertise”. You’re joking right? So now we have to make the trip back to the warehouse so they can ‘inspect’ the pieces and most likely have to wait again for them to delivery the right parts. We spent too much money on the set to have these issues. Our mistake for making the purchase from Ashley’s. This place is a joke. Take your money elsewhere.

I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. As soon as I walked in I was kindly greeted by Daja Brodie with a big smile & I explained to her that I didn't have a lot of time but decided to get new furniture for the new townhouse my kids & I we're moving into. I had pictures from the owners since I loved how they had it decorated. So I showed Daja the photos & no sooner she already had taken me to the 1st couch that was similar to the photo. (which I ended up buying right then) I was surprised by her knowledge of everything & remembering exactly what I was looking for. For the second couch I must say I'm sure I tried Daja's patience because I couldn't decide on the second couch & then once I did and paid for it I ended up going back and going with the original couch she showed me once again knowing exactly what I wanted. But through all this she never complained or rolled her eyes but instead she kept a smile on the entire time & saying it what was fine. Because of Daja & my experience with the other employees at checking out & setting up delivery, I came back the next day with my 2 kids and once again Daja helped them both pick out there new bedroom sets & mattresses. She is never fully satisfied. My family is also bilingual which can get confusing because we switch back and forth between languages without realizing. We had the pleasure of working with Kalin today who made our experience at Ashley a complete pleasure, and effortless. He was patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to what we needed, and nailed it when it came to showing me couches that were exactly what I was looking for.I didn't have to settle for something I kind of liked because he showed me the couch I LOVED. He made it so easy also ended up leaving with a completely unplanned dining room set. The store manager worked with us when it came to delivery( as the two orders where going to separate address and the free shipping wouldn't have applied) which was very much appreciated. Ashley Furniture's incredible customer service speaks volumes about the culture of the company. Kalin's impeccable customer service and friendly demeanor is a huge asset to the company.

Hour late on 4 hour delivery window Dresser drawer was broken. Two attempts to have it repaired and they continue to send wrong parts. It's been three weeks now.. Wish we would've spent $1500 elsewhere. No urgency on management side. Just wasn't handled professionally.
Me and my mom bought a floor set from Ashley and turns out after we bought it we were informed that someone else bought a piece from our set. When the sales associate called she said it was the night stand that was missing so we went to another Ashley’s and bought another night stand. Turns out we were misinformed and someone bought the chest not the night stand. So now we have two night stands and no chest. We got a refund, and had to buy a chest that wasn’t apart of the set. It was just a real unconvince but we straightened everything out. The items we bought are beautiful and we are happy with our purchase, but we had to spend extra money for miscommunication on their part.
I would’ve given 5 stars, however, waiting over a month just to get my set is very disappointing. If I find it somewhere else and can get it sooner, I’ll probably cancel the order.

I recently purchased from this location. My sales rep was Kalin Fowlkes & Ariana the office manager was very efficient, helpful & knowledgable on all aspects merchandise i was purchasing. I was quoted a price over the phone and was guaranteed by Muhammad the sales manager to receive the same for instore. Everyone is very friendly. Over all i am extremely pleased with my purchase and will recommend this store and their employees. Thanks again for the great service
My sales agent Dashae Wiggins was awesome, she was the reason I returned after visiting other stores. She was helpful but not pushy giving me time to search and decide without pressure. My experience at other stores was either indifference or breathing down your neck so I value Dashae’s approach. She was patient with my indecisiveness.. I was determined to replace my sectional immediately but had a hard finding one to fit my needs. I did finally purchase one and it’s all due to the help I received. Overall, I was so impressed with the professionalism and attention by the entire staff at Ashley’s. Everyone was polite, they spoke and smiled as I looked around the store. Will definitely recommend this store to my friends and family.

Honestly, we asked so many questions, asked for so many price comparisons, asked for different couch configurations — Liz was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind! She worked with us every step of the way and was so patient. Buying furniture is definitely a headache, but Liz’s personable demeanor and smile made furniture buying so tolerable! Great service. I have bought several things from Ashley Furniture with the assistance of Michael Bonincontri (Mike). He measured the furniture for me, had me sit on it and lay on the mattress to make sure I was comfortable before I bought it. I told him exact details of what I would like in a sofa and a mattress and he was very insightful and matched the furniture to my needs. I'm not sure if you're aware that you have a salesman working for you that is either high on the job or uses weed fragrance cologne. While Quincy was nice in greeting us, I basically just decided against purchasing anything and quickly left the store. I felt uncomfortable asking for different salesperson, so my friend and I just left. Kind of appalled that I would encounter this at Ashley versus somewhere like Value City.
Good selection but pricey
On May 1, 2019, I requested a quote for the price of a sleeper couch and when the order was placed, the item was switched from the sleeper couch, which was quoted at $597.56, to a regular sofa. The item I was being sold was not the item that was being shipped. Here is a detailed outline of what happened.May 1,2019- I went into the Ashley Home Store in Rosedale, MD. I was working with Devon F. I picked out a couch that was on the sales floor. The couch is clearly labeled &"memory foam sleeper&". Please see the picture and zoom in on the tag on the arm of the chair on the left side of the picture. I requested a quote for the Velletri- Pewter Sleeper Sofa. He returned with the quote, I mulled it over and then committed to buying the Velletri Pewter Sleeper Sofa. In addition, I purchased two replacement pillows and 4 dining chairs. The total amount of the bill was $1453.93. May 3, 2019- I returned to the store to cancel the additional dining chairs due to the colors clashing with my table at home. When I finished my return, I asked for an itemized receipt of my return. During this time, it was requested by the customer service agent that I schedule my delivery. When I returned home, I reviewed the itemized receipt and noticed that the receipt stated that I ordered a &"Velletri Pewter Sofa&". I google searched the sofa and it was shown that there is a regular sofa and a sleeper sofa. I contacted the store and verified which couch was being delivered. I returned to the store and offered to show the manager the picture which indicated that the model I had seen and received a quote for on May 1,2019 was a &"memory foam sleeper&" to which she replied that the tag on the couch on the floor was &"available as a sleeper&" which is NOT the tag that was on the item when I purchased it. I requested that she either change the order and ship the requested Velletri Pewter Sleeper Sofa to reflect the item I requested to purchase, or cancel my order. She refused to change the price of the couch to reflect the price promised for the Velletri Pewter Sleeper Sofa and also denied a refund for the couch unless I paid a restocking fee.I left the store on May 1, 2019 convinced that I have purchased the Velletri Pewter Sleeper Sofa but instead, the couch style was switched to a regular couch when I went to check out. This is false advertisement. I was sold an item under a guise that it was a different item and that I was receiving a discount.STORE AND COMPANY ARE DOING NOTHING BUT BRUSHING ASIDE THIS ISSUE. They baited me in with what I wanted and then switched the product. DO.NOT.SHOP. HERE
Great Service, actually paid attention to me instead of ignoring me because I look young. Daja was really good and gave me space to look around. She also learned about the space I had to furnish and what I kind of furniture I wanted and gave me some suggestions. She let me come to my own decisions and gave me whatever information I needed with no pressure to buy. I would definitely buy again here.

We visited Ashley furniture 3 times the day we purchased our sofas. We were concerned about the measurements and so the salesman, Michael Fletcher had a measuring tape to measure the peices we were interested in. We made our purchase and now that the couches have been delivered, they do not match the measurements provided on the day of the sale. The store refused to waive the pickup fee to exchange the sofa for a loveseat. Customer service has been a nightmare to speak with, at one point when I asked for a phone number to corporate, I was given a cell phone number.
Had a wonderful experience just shoppong around for mattresses. the salesman who helped us, Leroy, was so kind and attentive. He really took into consideration our needs and price range. He and (i assume) manager Mohammed were able to present us with a great deal. Im honestly not used to being treated with the respect I was shown at this store. We will definitely be purchasing here.
The sales guy was very friendly and helpful. Went there on a Wednesday and seen that they was having a midnight madness sale on Friday with 75% off with free delivery. He went to see if i could get the sale price a couple days early, he came back with a manager and she said that was fine. Explain that a needed a sofa low to the floor because i had a cat. That was fine, he ans the manager rook me around the store and showed me a few sofas that was nice. When it came to pay the sofa was not 75% off like the sign and the sale guy said it was. The manager took the guy in the back and spoke with him. They say it will take 2 weeks or more forbthe sofa to be delivered. They get you to sign the receipt but they never tell you that you can not come back and cancell the order or there will be a restocking fee. The sale said free delivery as well as the sales rep but when i got my receipt they charge for delivery and they never offer the warranty on the sofa because i had a cat. What does a cat have anything to do if a stain gets on the sofa or something else happens to the sofa? All and all the sales rep was really nice but they need to explain everything to the customer before they hurry them up to sign the receipt. To me that is saying that all the manager wants is your money.
I wish I could provide 0 stars. The sales associate, Michael Fletcher measured the sofas incorrectly and now that they have been delivered, the store is holding us responsible for picking up the sofa to exchange it. Speaking with customer service has been a nightmare. At one point, I was provided a cell phone number and told it was corporate. I will never choose Ashley furniture again.

I recently went into the Rosedale store and was quickly greeted by "Sunshine" (nickname). She was dressed appropriately and was very knowledgeable about what I needed to purchase. She let me take my time to decide and answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Ashley to anyone that wants quality furniture and great prices. Several years ago, I purchased a dining room and kitchen sets from Ashley also and am still thrilled with my purchases.
I came into the store last week and Dawna T. helped me, she was so patient with me and my husband as we were so undecided. She answered every question my husband and I had. I was so shocked that she only worked for the company for a few months, because she really knew her stuff. I didn't purchase on that day because I'm not moving for a few months but I will definitely be going back to see Dawna!
Had a very good experience selecting a new sofa at this branch. Michael Fletcher did a great job of assisting me - answering all my questions without exerting any pressure at all. They were also able to provide me a very good price for a wonderful sofa. The store also had a much wider selection of furniture to view and assess than other branches I've visited. This rate goes to the individuals in the front desk of Ashley at Rosedale who were making fun of my concern and incompetent enough to resolve my issue. It seems that they have hidden agendas and since they are not fazed about the company's reputation on how they treat costumers, they could be doing it like a pro. The girl who answered me on the phone a couple of times that claimed herself as the manager and claimed the name "Britney" is bringing the company's name at a loss. She is not an asset. Unfortunately, I have to go to BBB-Business Bureau as my last resort in order for my concerns to be resolved. I was treated unfairly and ridiculed while trying to cancel a warranty furniture protection of which I believe is not going to be beneficial to me . I was on the phone back and forth with the customer service of the warranty company and the front desk of Ashley Rosedale for the cancellation of the said product but only to be told several times that once the product is purchased, it is final with no significant reason why? But when you go read the terms and conditions at the back of the invoice it clearly states that you can return a merchandise within 30 days upon purchase. I have made my complaint even before the last furniture was delivered and made note of every phone call, date, and email made via the warranty company. The girl who was on the other end of the line who answered me on April 8, 2019 sounded like an illiterate, uneducated front desk with no training of customer service. They already screwed the delivery of the furniture at the beginning of the purchase and felt something fishy going on. It is stated that delivery will be in 6 weeks but I never thought it would be that long but that was okay. What is not okay is when they try to let me pay at least half of the second delivery when the merchandise has been sitting all along in the warehouse! I went and checked on the status of every item online. I spoke with the manager again and she reiterated that I have to shoulder the other half of the delivery but could not provide me a reasonable answer why should I pay when it was not my fault. When I went to their warehouse, the two kind ladies on the front desk were asking me why was I charge for a delivery fee when all of my items are there waiting and ready to be delivered. They cleared it out and made arrangements free of charge and admitted there was a mistake of communication at the showroom. This just shows that the individuals manning the showroom store are incompetent, disrespectful, and maybe even deceitful. If you have issue about your recent purchase, I suggest you go to the store and do not leave unless it is taken cared of. DO NOT CALL. If not resolved, go to BBB and file a complaint so the upper executives will know about the unfair treatment.

Went in there to look at a sofa we saw online and we pull up and there’s this extravagant sale going on, even better! The couch online was listed at $1,500 but the couch on the floor was at $3,600. We started comparing other things we were looking at online and same situation. The sale on living room furniture was 50% off. The store salesman stated we could have it for online prices... but that’s not a sale? And the store manage worded it as they can do what they want because it’s a franchise and separate from the actual corporation. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Totally disgusted. There wasn’t a single sofa we looked at that wasn’t more than double the online listing price.
Bought my dining room set here. My salesman Muhammed Zain was wonderful. Professional, courteous and very helpful. The delivery was speedy and the delivery men were great. I will be buying all of my furniture here. Great selection and excellent quality.
My husband and I decided to start looking for a new couch over the holiday weekend. We had a very nice experience in the store. They had a large selection and very friendly staff. We decided not to make a purchase at this time, but we never felt pressured. I would definitely go back to this location in the future.

I would give it zero stars if Yelp would let me! Terrible store, do not buy furniture from Ashley or Regency furniture. My new reclining sofa broke after 30 days of use. I am now 4 weeks later and still have a broken unusable sofa. Customer service is non-existent and they do not stand behind their products. The customer service rep from the store wouldn't even provide me with the store managers name so I could speak with them. I asked for a refund or replacement, was told it was against store policy and I would just have to wait for the 30 day old sofa to be repaired. Their 3rd party repair companies are also lacking in customer service.

Just stopped in Ashley furniture home store on Pulaski highway looking for a living room set and had the pleasure of working with Muhammad Zain. Muhammad is a very knowledgeable, friendly , non pushy salesman I have met in a long time. My husband and I were not really sure what style of furniture we wanted and Muhammad was very patient with us and was able to answer every question we had even though he was not sure if we were going to buy anything or not. He definitely made us feel as if we were his only customers the whole time we were there. If interested in buying from Ashley I would definitely recommend him as your salesperson. Ashley Furniture is one of my places to shop. I love how the employees greet you at the door with warm welcoming faces. From start to finish was a great experience. I went to purchase a living room set and bedroom set on 2/20/19 and with the help of Victor and Yasmeen I was able to get a great deal of savings! I absolutely love the friendliness and patience they provided during my visit. I love the quality and brand names that Ashley sell as well. Overall, I had a wonderful experience thanks to Ashley's well trained professionals! Keep up the good work guys!!!
The only reason I am giving Ashley's one star is because I can't go lower. Besides the prices being marked up 300% I purchased the Gamaliel 2-Piece Sectional with Chaise on Saturday February 16th and was told that my items would be delivered on Thursday February 21st. They tell you that you'll get a call the night before delivery with a 4 hour window (NEVER HAPPENED) and that the driver will call you when they are 15 minutes away (NEVER HAPPENED)!!!!! On the day of delivery I was told my window was between 12-4, at 2:47pm I became nervous because it was getting late so I called the store only to be told that I missed my delivery... I told the rep from the store that it was impossible for me to miss my delivery because I hadn't received a call from the driver. She then told me that they knocked on my door which is impossible because I have a condo and they'd have to use the call box to even get in the building. I was then transferred to the warehouse who told me at 3pm and was told the same thing and that my furniture had already been scanned back into the warehouse. They then offered to deliver me my items on the following Tuesday claiming that was the next available date, to which I explained was unacceptable. I told them I would come and pick up the couch myself on Friday, to which they told me ok. When I called Friday morning warehouse manager, told me that I couldn't come and pick up the couch because it wasn't back at the warehouse. After telling them they better find my items because I was coming to pick them up miraculously, the truck had just pulled in to bring it back to the warehouse. Nonetheless after being given the run around for a day and a half they offered me only $150 off, and a $75 gift card. Moral of the story DONT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!
The saleswoman Ashley was very polite and after I told her what I wanted she lead me to the exact furniture I wanted. Ashley deserves the highest recognition for her efforts.
Beware the "Jewlery Store" sales model scam. Everything is marked up 300% so they can "discount " it to 75% off. The same item other retailers sell for $300 is marked as on sale for 300, with an original price of $1100. But if it's always on sale at 300, then it was never 1100. Very shady sales practice
By far the worst furniture store ever they charge you a 10% serivce charge if you pay for your order and want to change or cancel it. I never even picked up the order. First and last time coming I will never be back.
My husband and I were greeted right away by Michael. He explained the sale to us, asked us what we were looking for and let us look around for a bit by ourselves. We felt no pressure, and it was refreshing to walk around without a saleperson hounding us. When we had questions, he was readily available, offered assistance and made the purchase seamless. The staff at the back desk and staff near the front when we left were all very courteous. I would definitely recommend this store to friends and family. We don't have a delivery date for the furniture yet (we were assured we'd be contacted within few days), but we left today purchasing a sofa, loveseat, and kitchen table set that we are quite excited to receive.
I was actually a few minutes early and Leroy opened he door and invited me in. Purchasing a sofa is a big decision and he was both patient and informative! He explained my options and actually showed me an option that I had not previously stopped at. Come to find out that was the one I ended up purchasing! Victor and Brittany (manager) did an amazing job helping us pick out our new furniture set! They were so extensive and placed pieces of different displays together so we could see what matched and went together! Victor went the extra mile to carry a display table over to the couch that we wanted and help us match! Along with our now new rug! It was an exceptional experience, I did not feel pressured or felt like I had to buy anything. Victor checked in with us during our visit & by the end, we picked out our perfect living room! Don’t ever buy from here , they don’t have good return and exchange service, in fact they don’t have this service once u get your stuff it takes Moreno then two months to deliver and if you don’t like it you can’t return or exchange if they let you exchange they charge you 100 s of dollars . And their products are extremely expensive the same product I found later for 150 they were selling for 600 . Don’t don’t ever even walk In this store , it’s a trap .
After visiting other furniture stores, Ashley homestore stood out far beyond the others. The store was amazingly clean and organized. Upon arrival I was greeted by a store associate name Liz who was able to direct me to a theater sofa I only could have dreamt of. The price was good but the store manager Brittany made it better. She even through the protection plan for free. Once everything was decided on, Ariana checked me out. All of the store associates were professional and fun. I'm happy I gave this location a chance.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Ashley store on Sunday, 2-10-19. Ashley Furniture was having a huge President's Day sale so we decided to stop in "spur of the moment". We had been looking for a Dining Room set for several months, even though we really did not need one. Ours was just older and outdated. Our Salesman, Muhammad, was wonderful! He was extremely thorough, conscientious of our needs and listened to us without hovering over us and pushing for a sale. As my husband and I are on a fixed income, we asked if there were any other discounts we could receive if we purchased the set. Muhammad spoke to his Manager, Brittany. I asked if we could meet her in person and he satisfied that as well. Brittany was able to assist with a little more discounted price and we opted to then purchase the set that day! Thank you Brittany for your wonderful personality and the ability to provide us with the additional discount! We then proceeded to check out. No one pressured us to purchase the Protection Program but after thinking about it, my husband and I decided it would be a good idea to purchase with our new investment. While at check out, my husband and I had fun and a wonderful chat with the other three young ladies sitting behind the counter while our transaction was being finalized. The three mentioned are Tiffany, Ariana and Samantha. They were just as fun, congenial and friendly as Muhammad and Brittany. So, excited about our purchase, my husband and I wanted to write a review to compliment the above mentioned individuals, all five of them and their service. When we went to write the review, we found that the exact same set had been listed at a lower price on-line. A little dismayed, I contacted the store and explained what we had found on-line. Muhammad said he would check this out. He said he would do everything he could to allow us to receive the on-line pricing and would let us know. He called us back with good news. Ashley Furniture approved the on-line pricing for us and we saved an additional, almost $160, in discount pricing! Kudos to all mentioned, Muhammad, Manager- Brittany, Tiffany, Ariana and Samantha. They all deserve a "great-job commendation" from my husband and I. We had already visited the Elkton and Bel Air Maryland stores looking for a Dining room set. We will go back to the Rosedale store! Yes, we rated this a 5-star. However, the only reason we rated an overall 5 was for the staff and service. We would like to add that the delivery/pick up could be a little more hassle-free. Free delivery for purchases over $1,800 and we did not qualify for free delivery. Maybe lower the free delivery for purchases $1,000 and over?? Staff-they all deserve more than a 5-star rating but that was not an option. Thank you all! P. S. I went in looking for a recliner, Leroy my salesman quoted me prices on the recliners I liked. Costumer Service Reps Samantha and Tiffany helped me choose the recliner that suited me best and gave me a fast and friendly checkout. & Also the store manager Brittany was able to help give me the best price that fit my budget. Great experience!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. A We didn't buy anything yet. The presidents day sale has pretty good prices. Beware though, the advertised "free" delivery and free financing are only for qualified purchases. Confident we will be back before presidents day sale ends.

Overpriced compared to other furniture stores
Kudos today to Leroy, the sales associate who helped me with my purchase at the Rosedale Ashley store. He greeted us with a smile and reassured us he only wished to share the advertisment with this weekend's sales along with the promise he would leave us to our shopping. Wow! No pressure! Very nice! When my husband and I had a few questions about a living room set, Leroy generously shared how the furniture was made, answered all our questions, and even offered to move furniture around so I could visualize placement in my home. In my opinion Ashley doesn't pay this man enough. I highly recommend Leroy and I planned on requesting him in regards to future purchases!

Ashley store as a whole is rubbish. . . . . I went into the Rosedale location on December 22, 2018 to purchase both a living and dining room set in cash. . . no credit nothing cash. . . around the holidays and noticed that there was not a single soul in the building. . . so with that in mind they told me that they would give me a great deal if I purchased everything today. . . so I did. . . . along with the furniture they gave me half off on the warranty and free shipping. . . I thought great. . . . I will definitely be returning to purchase additional items. . . . even opened up an Ashley Furniture credit account. . . . . once I got home I noticed that my receipt was for a 3 piece sectional and not the 4 piece sectional that I showed the sales person in the store and repeatedly said that I wanted. . . I called the next day and again no problem they said to come in and they would fix the problem. . . I am beyond ecstatic. . . . now it comes down to the delivery which I was told between 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. . . I was okay with that until I kept getting phone calls rescheduling my delivery dates. . . . the 6 week mark will be on February 2, 2019 but I was told now that I will have to wait until February 16, 2019 to have the furniture sent to the warehouse and the furniture would be delivered 3 to 4 days after that. . . I called the store. . . spoke to the store manager Brittany and she said that if I wanted another set I would have to pay the difference. . . . I contacted the regional office for the area to see if they could contact the manufacturer to see what the delay was and they told me that the manufacturer does not have a number. . . which is a lie because every company has a number. . . . I told them that I was not happy and all they could say was sorry. . . . I would never order another piece of furniture from them again. . . . customer service on all levels is garbage. . . . I should have went to Value City as my gut told me to. . .
Would like to tell every one what a horrible experience my 84 yr old Father received . He purchased a table and 4 chairs and was extremely unhappy with it for many reasons. He called the store on the same day he received the set and told them so . He never got a return call . My brother and dad went back to store and they basically treated him like shit . And still did nothing about the set . Saying that he had 78 hours to say he didn't want the set . As I said they made several calls and went into the store to no avail . This is unacceptable customer service in my opinion . This has been going on since Dec. 31st . A month and nothing but ignorance was used to fix this for my dad . I would not recommend this or Middle River store to anyone . Sorry if you got stuck using them .
I purchased a furniture peice that is supposededly sorinella king upholstered bed frame and Tempur-Pedic mattress together . This bed frame that I picked didnot have any other color as I discovered now but during my store visit the sales person said they had and send me the norrister which is no problem . However , this bed frame had a base on which the boxes sit higher than the one we picked . So made the bed really high and I was not able to tell why . I liked the way it looked so I tried days to see if it's comfy but I felt it was way too high then we saw in the store . Also the mattress seemed a bit too hard . I went back to see my option on how I can be happy with my purchase and work things out and out my concerns . Then I realize the product seen on the store and placed for order weren't same . The sales man had also told me since it's Tempur-Pedic they had amazing return and exchange policy and 90 day free try out time and if i don't feel comfortable I can exchange or return without questions asked and no charge . Now as I go and talk to manger I would be paying 300 dollars more to exchange and another 300 to but low profile boxes . So I ll pay 600 more dollars . They even told me it was my fault to sign the delivery and also wait for 30 days to come back while they told me I had 90 days to try out . Also sold me the wrong item with diff specifications. Please don't purchase from here or put everything the sales man says in writing and make the manager sign it and video tape the conversation or whatever because I overheard the other sales person going through the same pitch to other customers about 90 day trial free return or exchange if u don't like it .
Had a great experience at this Ashley store! Michael was very helpful and patient to show us all the pieces of furniture. We're really pleased with the dining room set we purchased from here!

do not buy from this store. the manager is a liar and very sketchy! been trying to resolve a refund of $4,000 for 2 weeks. britney, the manager, refuses to get on the phone or call me back to deal with this issue. i have purchased multiple amounts of furniture from ashley stores in nc and have never had a problem. the lack of credible management in this store is beyond horrible. i have since filed a report with the baltimore bbb and will seeking a consumer rights attorney, which is completely unbelievable that i have to pay for an attorney when i was within the 72 hour refund time frame to cancel my order!!!!!!!! again, shop somewhere else! the frederick store has amazing customer service.

I am currently experiencing the worse case of customer service, rudeness and incompetency that I have ever had in my entire purchasing history. I honestly wish I could give Ashley Furniture store, delivery, warehouse and management a &"0&"( no star). I have been in contact with Ashley corporate over a dozen times to rectify a $8,000 delivery of worthless, cheap furniture. My initial complaint fell on deaf ears from the store manage to the delivery manager to the warehouse and manager and now corporate. Case in point: 90% of the items arrived less then my standard of new items. My sectional arrived soaking wet from the rain and ruined the integrity of the wood and upon sitting after two weeks, the wood inside the couch broke into pieces. The staples of the upholstery became unhinged, the chairs to the dining set were wobbly and the bench chairs were unstable in the legs and the flats on one of the beds could not fit in place , so the delivery installed left it unsecured and upon mentioning in an attempt to correct ripped through the upholstery of the bed.To say this experience is a nightmare is an understatement. These items were delivered in November and the only option I was given was to stage a makeshift manufacturing plant and wood shop in my home and wait for new pieces of the furniture to arrive in the mail and call Ashley Furniture to exchange legs from chairs etc. Why is the company more focused on the bottom dollar and not the customer. I will be posting this in all my social media sites and passing it along to all my family friends and coworkers and pray this goes viral. It is time for corporations and company&'s to pay attention to their customers needs and their own selfish needs hidden behind so called policies.I deeply regret I did not make these purchases with more bang for my buck with Amazon and Wayfair.Abdul I would like to hear from you!

I was a frustrated customer at the time I was trying to pick out a kitchen set at the Catonsville store had been there three times in one week this gentleman named Lee came walking up in change my whole life lee was so polite and loyal to helping me fine what I wanted to complete my home I know I had gotten on his last nerve but he not once show me that he was ready to kick me out the door we Finally found the kitchen set my dreams an I want to thank lee from the bottom of my heart for everything the patience he had was was awesome thanks lee your customer synelPeacock

Regarding my second purchase from the location on Pulaski Highway. I placed the order two days ago (1/14/2019). I called to cancel the order today (1/16/2019) and was told I cannot cancel over the phone. I had to go to the store in person to cancel, because that is store policy. Now, despite the fact that I fell on ice yesterday and hit my knees on concrete and shouldn’t be going anywhere, I limped into the store to cancel my order. The manager told the financing rep just don’t call to confirm the purchase and walked off. I have no idea what that means and have no written confirmation my order has been cancelled. I called the main customer service number and was told they can’t cancel my purchase because it was made in a store and Therefore they can’t do anything. I asked for the corporate number and was told there isn’t one. I need to go back to the store and deal with it there. I called the credit card number and they don’t show my purchase as yet, therefore there is nothing to cancel. I am therefore writing both as a warning to future customers and for documentation purposes that I cancelled my furniture within two days of ordering it every different way I can think of, and I still have NO WRITTEN CONFIRMATION that my order was cancelled. There is now documentation in multiple places that I have tried to cancel a single item, with extreme difficulty, to no avail, except with increasing exasperation at every attempt. As is plainly evident by my 2 posts, ordering furnitures from this company is a smooth and easy process, UNTIL you attempt to CANCEL an order or RETURN something...then it is nothing but red tape, unnecessary ugliness & extreme exasperation. I ordered everything I wanted and received a great deal on my purchases. The place was clean and the rest of the staff was courteous and efficient. It didn’t take an hour to get through the process. I received a call the next day confirming my purchases were in the warehouse, and ready for delivery the next weekend. I had my two bedrooms all set to go in 1 week 🎉. I would definitely recommend Michael to my friends and family.

I would not buy a lamp from this place. Horrible service!! Delivered damaged sofa and love seat and it has been over 2 weeks and no response from them. Charged us non-refundable insurance on furniture for over $700. After many calls and emails no response. Very poor service. Never use this company.
Muhammed was a wonderful sales associated who help me and my wife pick out a sectional. We have been shopping for over a year looking for a great sectional at a great price and Ashley Furniture had exactly what we needed. Muhammed was very informative and did not pressure us whatsoever which was a nice touch. Great customer experience and great prices overall!

Very poor service and don't wanted to match online price. Never receive my money back, called in after 3 weeks and now they telling me I have to drive back again and they have to process the refund again. So Mad. Waste of time and Money. Be CareFul People ! Would Highly recommend to check the price online(high chance you will get the same thing cheaper somewhere else) before running to store. Never going to this Store again.
My wife and I went to Ashley in Rosedale after a positive experience in Bel Air. Once we walked in, we felt very welcomed as Michael Bonincontri offered his assistance. We were in the search for a new dining room table but chose to browse to see what choices we had. He wasn’t pushy, very polite, and helped us with all our options available when we finally made our choice. It was a very pleasant experience for us, and we will definately be coming back for all our future furniture needs.
I had a great experience with Mike at Ashley furniture! I was moving into a new home and was working with limited space. Off of just showing him a picture of the living room, he gave me all his recommendations of what could work. We found the perfect couch that’s fits perfectly! Delivery was earlier then expected and they set everything up in no time. I was very please with my outcome.
Before you go into any Furniture Store printout the listed cost of the item in order to avoid a huge mark up by sales personnel. In addition, Google the item to see if you can get the item cheaper from another furniture store.
My wife and I went looking for a chair. We purchased the chair along with a table clock, I saw in the store. Before leaving we purchased two more items. My Saleman Devon was great along with the lady who takes the payments. As we were about to walk out, it all went to Hell in a handbasket. Remember I purchased a table clock when I first got there, I guess there aren't any bags to put it inside, I had to carry it out. As I walked towards the door another salesman snatched it from me and when I say snatched. He snatched the clock out my hand and told me you wont be stealing shit from this store, he walked off. As we tried to tell him I have a receipt for it, he said get away from him. He didn't want to look at the receipt, but jumped in my face and wanted to fight. With all the commotion brewing, another staff member walked up and she said yes he purchased the clock. Now he's trying to apologize to me and my wife Hell No we don't want your apology now. The manager Max( didn't give me a last name), sent him to the back, he apologized for what happened. Once again being an African American couple we got discriminated against, sadly the salesman was African American also. I'm writing this because we were totally embarrassed and humiliated in front of all the customers, this guy approached me and treated me like I was a criminal glad the police weren't called to try and lock me up for making a legal purchase. When we left a customer stopped us outside, to ask if they needed them to be witnesses to what just happened. I wouldn't even be writing this right now, if he went about this differently. Ask for my receipt I'd showed him and life goes on. Ashley furniture needs to retrain or train their staff on customer service.
