Usually hate walking into a furniture store, instant pressure from a salesman. Not here at Ashley. A very brief introduction and then we were left to shop. Richard, at White Marsh, MD was great. When I approached him with questions he was courteous and quick to answer our questions. We negotiated to our satisfaction and Richard went out of his his way to get approval from his manager. Be aware of the insurance scam involving premium protection. They will not help you if your furniture is damaged, so do not waste your money. Ashley Furniture employees at this location are aware of this scam, they even provided me with a corporate number and confirmed they never replace damaged items. If Ashley Furniture knows about this, why do they promote this fraudulent insurance company?

Today is the best! I’m moving into my place Saturday and the sofa I wanted wasn’t able to be delivered initially for 6-8 weeks! Called in last minute and spoke with Manny in customer service and he assured me to come in and he could help. With the help of him and Ariana(the manager), they were able to get me my sofa delivered in less than 1 week! I’m truly grateful for my experience! They are pleasant to do business with and they made it a very easy decision! I’m glad I went with them because otherwise I would have been settling out of not wanting to wait for something that was not as good quality! Thanks again Manny & Ariana! Pleasure doing business! My experience at the Ashley Store on Rt.40 was a pleasant one. Nancy (Salesperson) greeted me at the door with a smile. She asked how she could help me? I was seeking a sofa bed for the basement. Nancy showed me various sofabeds in stock ( color, size, and price). She demonstrated how the bed would unfold or come out from the sofa. After chosing a sofabed, we begin to chat about life in general. We spoke how the merchandise would be financed, delivery fees, and taxes ( the whole package). Nancy's whole mannerism was professional. As a salesperson, Nancy listened and answered all my concerns. Thank you. Kudos! 😊👍🏾🎉

Easy process was in ordered and out less then 30 minutes

My experience shopping for and selecting a new couch and loveseat at this store was great. I came to the store multiple times over several weeks to just sit on couches and make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Dorian was very professional in assisting me and gave me the help I needed but I never felt smothered or pressured in any way. Manny assisted with the purchase and was equally pleasant and helpful. I felt informed and like they were telling me all of the important details about the furniture and warranty that I wouldn't have thought of. I haven't received the items yet but I will update the review when that happens. Thank you!

Worst place to buy chairs,the delivery is expensive and is the worst, they don't communicate and the bubble wrap is all torn, exposing your furniture to dirt and damage.plus they also charge to return, 🤦the only nice thing I got were the tables

Since moving to Maryland, we have consistently returned to the Ashley store on Pulaski Highway. After four separate purchases, we remain delighted with the quality, delivery, and overall service. On our most recent visit, we were delighted to be assisted by Da Sean for the third time! He and Manny, who handled the sales details, provided a seamless experience for the New Year’s sale. Both Da Sean and Manny are 10-star professionals who make furniture shopping a pleasure.

We bought multiple items from this store, including a console table. Everyone was very welcoming during the purchase, but after we got it home and noticed it was missing a glass/mirror trim strip, the support disappeared. I contacted the store immediately and was told they would call back with a resolution, but they never did. When I called again the next day, I was told that because it was a floor model they can’t do anything about it. No replacement part, no repair option, nothing. Disappointing.

I went into the Store located at 8823 Pulaski Highway Baltimore Maryland . I placed an order for a bedroom set and sofa sleeper for my Mom at an Assisted Living Home , The order was never delivered as Ashley Furniture was waiting for some items to be in stock . My Mom’s health has declined she will no longer be able to stay in her assisted living home . I called Ashley’s furniture on 11/28/25 to let them know that I will not be accepting the delivery which was scheduled for 12/8/25 . I let them know on 11/28/25 that I needed to cancel my order I spoke with Arianna she informed me that the installation hold had to be removed once this was removed she would cancel my order and my refund would take 21 days since I paid by check . I asked why is that I wrote the check on 11/13/25 it cleared my bank on 11/13/25 why do I need to wait 21 days for my refund she told me she would call me back she didn’t . I called on 12/2/25 I spoke with Kim she’s telling me I need to go into the store to finish cancelling my order I asked her why did I need to go in ? I was not told that on 11/28/25 I am not in Baltimore at this time I live in Atlanta and I am home at this time I will not be able to go to the store in Baltimore which is located at 8823 Pulaski Highway . I let her know that I should not have to go into the store to cancel considering that I am not in Baltimore currently and the delivery was never made . I asked to speak with a mgr I was put on hold serval times only to be told by Kim that I will need to come in to the store to cancel . Again I asked for a mgr . I was never allowed to speak with a mgr . I was told that I still need to go into the store . This is not how you conduct business ! I requested the number for Ashley’s Corporate office I was told I will have to place you on hold to see if I have the correct number for Corporate , Kim came back and said she was not able to give me Corporates number this is totally unacceptable ! I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley’s Furniture and will tell EVERYONE I know of this experience . Very easy! We stopped in just to take a look Because we needed a new couch and we ended up finding one we actually liked. Gwen Let us know that shipment could not be till Christmas Eve but we needed the couch sooner and so we said we would be flexible with color, but Gwen was able to work it out for us that we got the color we actually wanted and it will be arriving on Monday! Super easy and painless compared to other furniture experiences we have had.

This is a very nice store. They have a lot of pieces and it is organized very well, easy to find anything you are looking for. The customer service was very good. I had a wonderful experience at Ashley Store. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted with a smile by Gwen. She had a customer prior to my coming. But assured me she would help me as soon as she could. She checked on me periodically, to make sure I was ok. I was able to purchase two beautiful pieces of furniture. The staff at the counter (management) were very helpful, explained everything to me and thanked me for coming! It was a welcomed experience with all the discord in the world today.

Buying from Store Manager Ariana was great — no pressure at all. I spent over $5,000 on a king-size bedroom set. Ashley uses third-party delivery companies for white glove service. Mine was handled by Diverse Logistics and Distribution, LLC (Tampa, FL), who then subcontracted to a local company. The delivery team (2-hispanics) showed up in a basic white truck with a small company name printed on the driver door. They damaged my hardwood & 3 day old LVT floors, walls, and some of the furniture. When I pointed it out, the driver denied it and told me to sign on a tablet — no text, just two signature boxes. He said it was just to confirm delivery. Later, I was told I had signed a "No Fit Waiver". I explained to Edwin that I was never told I was signing a waiver - and more importantly, that it makes no sense to sign a "No Fit Waiver" after the delivery was completed, especially when multiple pieces were damaged during the process. "Check the timestamps on the tablet!" Ashley won’t help unless the delivery company removes the waiver — and they’ve denied everything. On top of that, the furniture has issues: drawers don’t open, bolts are missing, and multiple pieces are damaged — and I paid extra for a warranty. The store hasn’t been helpful. Ariana went silent, and customer service (Edwin and Yancy) have been dismissive. I have everything on camera showing them pushing the furniture through my doorway and dragging furniture across my hardwood floors. I’ve already contacted the BBB and Ashley’s corporate office. Next up: the Attorney General in MD and FL. Bottom line: be careful with Ashley’s third-party delivery companies — they don’t take responsibility and have no problems with employing dishonest people. Ashley has lost my business for good and I am prepared for litigation.

Had an awful return experience. Was promised no restocking fee with 72 hours returns. Then was charged $150. Wasn’t notified beforehand of this. Customer service has been awful. They were very attentive when I wanted to buy something. Avoided me as soon as they made the sale. Ariana and Gwen were great in the store! Just didn’t help me much as soon as I paid for the order.

Ordered a dining room set about 2 weeks ago and scheduled delivery for today, August 4th. We did not hear from anyone from Ashley furniture until we contacted them. They stated the furniture would not be in the warehouse until sept 7th and delivery would be set up sometime after that. There was no reason given as to why a delivery date for August 4th was set up besides delivery typically takes 8-12 weeks. This is extremely unprofessional and inconvenient, especially considering we were told all items were in stock of day of purchase. We ordered other furniture from other stores and it arrived in less than 2 weeks. I will not be purchasing any more products from Ashley’s

I had a great in-store experience with no pressure to buy anything. I ended up buying something because I was comfortable.

Please do not ever lease a mattress through Ashley on line. I went ahead and leased a mattress because that way if I didn't like it I could return it at least I thought so. I have had the mattress for 2 weeks and I called Ashley they gave me a number to call since it was done on line so I called them and told them that the mattress is not working out and I wanted to return it well come to find out they will not take the mattress back since it's not in the box and I said what the person that I talked to asked me if it was still in the box and I said no because how are you going to sleep on a mattress if it's still vacuumed sealed and still in the box so she processed to tell me they will not take it back which is stupid especially since you are leasing it and you don't own it so I will never buy or lease anything from Ashley ever again so again do not ever get anything from Ashley. Very poor customer service so now I'm stuck with a mattress that I do not even like absolutely ridiculous. Again very poor customer service.

Ms. Gwen and Ms. Imya helped me out today. I went to three different furniture stores in the area and none were as professional and welcoming as they were. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Upon entering, I was greeted by Gwendolyn Greene she asked us if we needed any help and showed us the way to tour the show rooms. I was on a search for a particular couch for my first apartment. I searched the store and came up on a larger version of it, instantly sad because I thought it was smaller. A couple minutes go by and Ms.Gwen approached us again and was able to point me in the correct direction. I was super happy the moment I laid eyes on the couch( the midnight madness sectional). After that, Ms.Gwen helped me out the whole the step of the way of how I could go about ordering, payment, and shipping options.As a 25 year old getting her first apartment I was overjoyed to feel so comfortable with her making what is to be a couple of my first adult purchases. It didn’t feel like I was just dealing with a sales associate trying to sell me a couch. I received genuine care and concern on picking out this piece. I will definitely be back soon!

I went to this store before moving out of state and Gwen had excellent service with me, after moving I contacted her again and was able to make my purchase with her, she was very patient and attended to all my requirements, very happy with my purchase.

I worked with Gwen today to find a brand new sectional and she was so incredibly helpful. I had gone to five other stores prior to this one with no such luck, and was feeling a little lost. I ordered my sofa in August and it was supposed to arrive in Sept 2024. When the delivery date arrived, I was told that the sofa had some issues while shipping to Baltimore. They then ordered it back to arrive it by Oct. 18th. when contacted for scheduling delivery, I was told that it is going to be delivered sometime in Nov. 2024. I finally decided to go to Ashley and cancel my order. When I did that, the floor manager called Bob discounts (he confirmed with us) and told us that they have the same piece of furniture in their outlet and will have ours sofa delivered to us in 3 days. I was surprised that Bob will carry their product specially when the sofa was costing almost $1,600. Anyways, finally it arrived on October 28th. It's been only 4 months (not even 4), the quality of fabric is so bad that it started to shred out. Also, the cushions have lost their stiffness. I am not that heavy either that my weight made it go bad. now these cushions looks like 10 years old. I would never recommend anyone to buy any furniture from Ashley at all! Such pathetic company. i would have been better off with 1/4th of price from Amazon! at least that would have lasted for a year!

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. Buying furniture from this store went great after spending nearly $8000. Once they got my money, things changed very rapidly. It was a true challenge trying to get anyone from the store to answer my calls when I had issues. One of the managers answered once, but when I tried multiple times afterward, nothing. I will NEVER patronize this store again. Awful service! Corporate solved my issues, but beware of this location. Now I see why it was so empty when I walked in. If I ever shop Ashley again, I will be going to the Hunt Valley store. I will NEVER go to this store again with my money. AWFUL experience. I am a leader in my field and I would train or fire any employee who conducts themselves in this manner. They knew my number once I called and complained once. I was ghosted by this store after my complaints. Again, corporate took care of me. This store should be shuttered.

Feel like I’m being ran around!!! I ordered furniture the first part my living room set came fine. My second part which was the bedroom furniture came damaged and mismatched. I gotta call this department and that department instead of headquarters taking the entire order and reprocessing the damaged and mismatched furniture they only provided the exchange for damaged furniture what about this mismatched dresser that doesn’t match my bedroom set! I’m overwhelmed bc I had to put this together as they sat it (the boxes of broken down furniture) in my living room bc I didn’t point them to a specific room???? I didn’t want them inside my rooms of my house. So I don’t get set up! Just trash service and consideration. I choose it bc it’s a Big Box Name store but boy was I disappointed. Still working on my mismatched furniture btw.

Came in with exactly what I needed to order. The gentleman who helped me set it up. The same day, I called back and confirmed the order. No issues. Hopefully delivery and set up goes smoothly.

He took us right to a few options. Was quick to answer questions in color choices etc, even when one didn’t list the color we preferred on the sign. He just provided info, no pressure, gave us privacy to talk and decide without hovering and when we were ready he priced out our final choices, presented them. Let us think, and weigh options and quickly processed a sale. Called his manager for some extra off. Super grateful as I dread furniture shopping so absolutely thrilled. He’s now my go to for furniture. He gave me his card and cell. That’s Service!!

It has been a disaster so far! Ordered furniture in July and wasn’t delivered for 2 months. Bed frame was finally delivered last week and there were no slots to out the mattress on. Still sleeping on the floor!!! Slat still have not been delivered!!! And no call back or concern! Nothing!!! She mad at Ashley in Baltimore!!! Never again!!! I’m from NY and have furnished my entire home using Ashley in Nanuet- never a problem. We are just devastated!!!

0 stars if i could give one.. but the order was massively delayed after a commitment given for the delivery date each times. The communication was a complete train wreck—DORIAN blatantly strung us along, avoiding any accountability for the delay. Then straight up refused to give the phone to the manager when asked, meanwhile continuously arguing about the fact that he had given us a wrong timeline… When we demanded an explanation, they had the audacity to blame it on someone who supposedly no longer worked there. We were forced to waste more time going back & forth with him. Once we got in hold of the manager, it happened after 8 to 9 minutes duration then we were finally able to connect to the manager. Dorian needs to be fired immediately for this pathetic excuse of service, and I will never set foot in that store again.

ZERO STAR!! We have had an absolute headache dealing with Ashley Furniture and their employees in this location, particularly. They have been completely negligent when it comes to keeping us updated on the status of our delayed furnitures (sofas). Despite repeated promises, we’re the ones constantly having to reach out to them to find out why our furniture still hasn’t arrived. They claimed they had the sofas in the warehouse, yet it still hasn’t arrived. It’s been incredibly frustrating, and I wanna warn anyone considering buying from them to proceed with caution. Be prepared for your furniture not to arrive for at least 12 weeks, even though they initially guarantee a much shorter time frame. DO NOT fall for the false promises of delivery within four weeks. We’re extremely disappointed, and if we could rate their customer service, it would be beyond zero.

She was so pleasant to talk to. She gave us a ton of information about our furniture and shipping/delivery. We left so informed about what we bought. Dorian was absolutely amazing! He was so knowledgeable of all the styles, knew the data and programs involved, and wasn’t pushy at all- I felt like I was shopping with my new, best friend! The store was undergoing a repainting, but it did not impact the shopping experience at all. The store was also well laid out and clean!

For the area, they do have the better selection at decent price points. However, the experience here is definitely less than ideal. It’s run by young “adults” who haven’t been properly trained. There was one who seemed to know what she was doing but had a terrible attitude with her coworkers (not a good look in front of customers), and I even saw an employee vaping inside! I seemed to have a better idea of what the process was than these kids. It seemed like they just wanted to get a sale and ship you out. I’m not going back there. It’s ran poorly.

I would highly suggest seeking furniture elsewhere. I ordered a set for my daughter all of the pieces did not arrive after the delivery driver insisted I tip him. I followed up with the store and manager and they are not responsive this was over two weeks ago. Still no word on when I should expect the missing furniture pieces.

Unfortunately, I had to come back to revise this review from 5 stars to 1. The purchase process was seamless, but our order ended up being significantly delayed so we had to cancel it. We were slow rolled on the communication, and when we asked why they weren’t transparent with us about the delivery timeline, we were told “you know how salesmen are.” We had to go back in person to cancel the order. I wouldn’t shop at this store again.

If I could rate no stars I would.. I ordered bar stools the employee that helped was so nice. But the way my experience went I will never order from here nor go back, I talked to other people & they had terrible experiences also. I was definitely not treated fairly, the manager Richard cares more about making sales than anything. I wanted to return my bar stools before they were shipped because I was scared of them being too small. But I paid with Apple credit card, & they aren't suppose to take those, & but when I explain to him I wanted to just get a refund & go somewhere I can physically see them, he tried to talked me out of it, mind you it was a week day as well, he said "can you come back on Saturday, a day I'll be making sales". I laughed it off & said I rather get it done. & then magically he couldn't refund me, & said I would need to get a letter from Apple. & I was so tired I just didn't wanna deal with it anymore, & I'm down $826.

Just went to Ashley Furniture on Pulaski Hwy today. Justin is such a blessing! Purchased an entire living room set (Sofa, Love Seat, Chair & Ottoman). Justin was very knowledgeable but was honest when he didn't know an answer to a question I had. I definitely appreciated that since that's not what salesmen normally do! He gave us space but was near to answer any questions at a moments notice. Finally, when I paid for everything, the other gentlemen (Mr. Richard and Mustafa) that helped in the back were so very helpful! All 3 worked together and I was able to get the best price possible. The Ashley furniture store at Rosedale was absolutely amazing. I must say Dorian specifically helped me find a dining table that will fit my needs. As I walked in, the floor rep was busy with another customer so it afforded me the chance to look around. I passed by the sales desk and YANNA immediately asked if I had been greeted/was being helped. While she is not a floor rep, she went ABOVE & BEYOND (as did the Manager, Richard). She directed me to options of the specific item wanted; verified availability, measurements and color options. The end result? A sale and very happy customer!

Truth be told, when I originally made a purchase at this location in August of 2022, I was incredibly happy. I love the couches I got. However, I am incredibly frustrated with the customer service I received. When my wife and I were looking for couches we decided on a budget before going out shopping. We were helped by Bobby Berry, whom we shared our budget with. We had found something we liked at Ashely but continued to look at our options. We found a similar couch at a different store and Bobby was able to price match for us. Happy with the price matching, we decided to purchase from Ashely. We were then instructed on which loan to take to match our monthly budget for the couch. Unfortunately, I was not made aware that I was purchasing the couch with a no interest deal that lasted not even 2 years, the promotion lasted till March 10th, 2024. We took out a 3 year loan and were none the wiser that we had been roped into this trap. So now I got slapped with an additional $1,319.33 (interest charged from the initial purchase) and with an interest rate of 29.99%. While I do love my couches, business practices like these are unacceptable. Should anyone want furniture from here, go for it. However, I recommend a personal loan. The bank they use is Synchrony. Again, neither from Ashley Homestore nor Synchrony was I made aware of the promotion or the extra money I would have to pay. I wouldn't want anyone else to get taken advantage of.

Horrific, furniture ordered, they charged my account and stated I should have delivery in four days. Four days later no one answers the phone, I go to the store they promise to call me as computers are down for a week, no one ever calls. Corporate also doesn’t answer. I go into cancel, they can’t cancel as computers are down. Needless to say they currently have my money and I have nothing.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT THIS PLACE!! I bought my couch with Bob he said it would take 2 1/2 weeks to receive the couch. It took 2 months months to receive my couch and they sent a broken couch. I talked to Rick the manager and the terrible costume service, and it going to take almost a month to fix the broken couch. $900 waisted on a terrible couch. They do not accept return. Please buy you couch somewhere else. My terrible couch is the McLeland Gray 2 seat reclining sofa.

I initially rated my experience as a 5. I had to revisit this after my purchase. Here's why....I made a purchase on 3.17.24 and was told that I would receive a call for delivery within 1-2 days. The call never came... I followed up to get a delivery date and was told that my furniture was sent to another customer. I was told that I would be called back with a delivery date...again, no call. Unprofessional and criminal how customers are treated

I received received great service from Bob, and we will seeing him soon to help me select a new mattress. I recommend anyone to come to see Bob at Ashley furniture
