Very positive experience at the Churchville, MD location with Bobby L. and Marcie. We purchased a sectional and they made the process easy and efficient.

Bobby greeted us as soon as we entered. After finding out our preferences, he showed us directly the pieces that would work for us. He was very kind and helpful even moving a side piece so that we could see those pieces together. Marci, at checkout was efficient and courteous.

This place of business is a complete waste of space. The general manager and regional manager are completely worthless and could care less about their customers. The general manager is very timid and can’t make decisions and decides to hide behind a desk and try to do deals to a phone with her office manager. The regional manager is non responsive to any issues and ignores the emails sent to him since there is no telephone number to call him. Avoid at all costs. Their product is extremely cheap and the quality is very poor.

Bought a sofa and loveseat for $2000 an it is the worst piece of furniture that I have ever purchased. Cushions don't fit right and one section is sinking. The so called service person sent to fix it said it was cheap built with little support in the frame. It is a $2000 piece of junk.

Stopped in to browse on a Saturday and met salesman Mike Bonincontri. He was very pleasant and showed me furniture available based on what I wanted. Came back 3 days later he helped us move pieces around in the showroom. We were able to visualize what we wanted and purchased our new living room set. In addition to his great sense of humor, he was fun, professional and straight forward. Be sure to ask for Mike B if you're looking for furniture.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Made a purchase in-store 1 hour before close. The items would need to be delivered which is totally fine. The next morning at open, we called to cancel the order after realizing the furniture wouldn’t work. Called for two hours No one answered the store phone. Called corporate and got bounced around for another two hours. They would not cancel my order and they would not give me a refund. Eventually got the order canceled, but still no refund. Finally had to get my credit card company involved to return my money. Steer clear of this place at all costs.

I would like to thank both Don and Mrs P for helping me with a furniture purchase. They were both very friendly. Unfortunately, I cancelled the purchase. I ordered the furniture on July 3rd and today, on Sept 9th they told me it wouldn’t be available until December at the earliest, and even then, the chairs were discontinued so I could only get a dinette table without chairs. We like to sit down to dine. No offer was made to rectify the situation. It wasn’t a special order. It worked out, though. I got a much better set at Gavigans and it will be delivered within a week. Go to Gavigans.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Charlie and Mrs. P when shopping for our new living room set. Charlie was just all around amazing and sweet to work with. He helped us save extra money on our purchase and even went out of his way to find me a pen to take home (I made comments about how much I loved his pen and how it wrote); Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest impressions. Amber assisted my wife wit contactless pay and setup our delivery. The delivery crew was outstanding! They kept me informed of the status of my delivery starting the evening before. They called to see if I could accept delivery before my scheduled time, which I did. They arrived at 0800 and were done by 0810 with delivery and setup. They were professional and polite.

Amber and Adam were great with helping me get my bedroom set ordered! Update - 6/23/2025 I have had a terrible experience with delivery. I was notified a week before that my delivery would be Thursday, 6/19. To accommodate this, I got rid of all my current furniture. On 6/19, I received 2 automated calls that the furniture was on the way. Then, I received a call that they can only deliver to a military base on Wednesdays and Saturdays. After some rearranging, I had my mom make arrangements to be at my home on Saturday, 6/21, as I was out of town. When the furniture was delivered, there was no board of slats as I was told I ordered, but apparently did not because it doesn’t exist for a king size bed. Because I thought that was coming, I got rid of my box spring. After calling the store several times and never actually speaking to a manager, I was told they would provide me a box spring free of charge, which was great. However, now I’m told deliveries are only made to the base on Wednesdays (not Saturdays now for some reason) and THIS Wednesday is full so my box spring won’t be delivered until 7/2. So, I won’t be able to sleep on my bed for another 9 days. Additionally, I will have to take off at least part of the day to receive the box spring on 7/2. I love the furniture, but this fiasco has made me not want to order from this store anymore.

The sales guy forgot to order the side rails for the bed frame. Now we have to wait an additional 3 weeks for that to come in. I got rid of my old bedroom furniture to make room for this so our sleeping situation is not ideal right now. The store pawned me off to corporate customer service rep since i was not satisfied with that solution. The corporate office then told me the store should have given me other options to pick a new bed set that they had in stock. After that call received a call from the store manager, I asked for them to send me new options to look at. Going on 3 days later and haven't heard from them, not holding my breathe either. From what I gathered this store is only good at convincing you to buy things and not delivering on what they promised.

I had an incredible experience with Ashley Furniture's customer service! Our puppy had an accident on two of our couch cushions, and despite my best efforts, I couldn't remove the smell. When I called Ashley Furniture to see if I could order replacement cushion inserts, I was pleasantly surprised to learn they would send them to me as a courtesy. Not only did they offer to send the inserts for free, but when I called back for a tracking number, they informed me they were sending all five inserts as a courtesy. Wow! Amazing! A few days later, two cushions arrived, and to my surprise, they were complete cushions, not just the inserts! Now, I've received four out of the five, and it feels like we have a brand-new couch. Thank you, Tumulo & Adwin, for your outstanding customer service. We will definitely continue to shop at Ashley Furniture!

Awesome employees here! I absolutely recommend working with Terri if you have a purchase, she will work with you to all your needs and is super patient. She can also give you a really good deal. The management is also great, and are all very nice. Candice was very helpful from the managers and she helped us out with getting the best deal she could. They also have a very nice selection of furniture and the store is very well maintained. Their items are priced on the higher side, but if there’s a sale, then you can get a good deal. Do not use this location. I have now waited two months for my furniture to be delivered. Today delivery was happening and all the pieces were incorrect and were not what was ordered. Two months later, I still do not have the furniture. Called the store and spoke to Chavon “Sales Manager” who was unable to rectify the problem. I asked to speak to the general manager, and she was unavailable to take phone calls, and they would not be able to call me back until Monday. Definitely will be going to corporate. Absolute nonsense and absolute terrible customer service. Update: I spoke with the general manager on Saturday and she was going to speak with her manager and get back to me on Monday and I have yet to hear anything from her. It is now Thursday at 5:18 PM and still no callback. No resolution. No acknowledgment. I called yesterday and left my name and number again and still no return call. This is getting to be ridiculous. Update #2 It is now been a week since I was promised a call back by the general manager. I have called this location every day all week long to be told that the manager was not available or in meetings and that a message will be left for her to give me a call back. Again it is now Sunday at 3:30 PM and this manager has yet to respond back to any of the messages. I requested her manager’s contact information to which I was told I was not able to be given. I requested that a message get sent to him for follow up. I will continue to wait to see what Kind of follow up this manager has. As a manager of the company I work for, this is truly unacceptable. This is not a good business practice at all. Update #3 It is comical how the “owner” only responds to positive reviews. Update #4 Still no return call from the “General Manager” and an email was apparently sent to her boss to give me a call and I have yet to hear from him/her. Cannot make this up how terrible their customer service is. Think twice before using this location. There are plenty of other competitors out there. Update #5 Furniture finally delivered in full 2 1/2 months later. Not bad, outside of the fact that I now need to wait for a drawer handle replacement that came broken from the warehouse. Now that the furniture has been delivered, I will wait for the replacement handle to arrive and to see what compensation/refund the store will be providing. To date, the General Manager never returned any of my calls/messages left for her and her manager never bothered to reach out and return any call at all. I hope they right the situation sooner than later. Update #6 Attempted to contact the Bel Air location again tonight as I have yet to receive a call from the general manager, Candice. It has been a few weeks now since her original message where she told me she would give me a call back with some sort of resolution. To date, I have called the store numerous times left numerous message for both her and her manager to call me and have received a call back from neither one of them. Called again tonight and spoke to Chavon who again took 7 1/2 minutes to get on the phone and again had an attitude about him. Update #7 Absolutely ridiculous. As if it could not get any worse, I just went back and looked at the picture of the furniture that we ordered from the store and the furniture that was sent to the residence is not even the correct furniture. What an absolute disaster. I want someone to call me and I want my card credited back 100%. This is an absolute complete mess up on the part of Ashley at this point and I want management to call. Update #8 To make matters worse, I went back and looked at the picture of the furniture I ordered and the picture I received is not the furniture I ordered at all. It is completely different. They sent me the wrong damn set of furniture! I would like a call back from upper management as I’m tired of chasing your management team down for the past 2 1/2 months with no response. I will be getting an attorney involved if this is not resolved and rectified soon.

My Husband and I purchased a dining set. At purchase we were quoted two to three weeks for delivery. I called to check the status of our order at about two and a half weeks. The representative told me that it may come on the next truck. They actually have no clue. I called a few days later and was told it could take up to twelve weeks. The salesperson did not tell us this. If she had we would have looked elsewhere. We decided to cancel the order. Per Ashley's store policy the customer has up until two days before scheduled delivery to cancel the order without any fees. My husband went into the store to cancel. The representative tried to tell him there would be fees for cancelation even though our items had not even shipped let alone been scheduled for delivery. The moral of the story here is that if it may take twelve weeks to be delivered you tell the customer that. You don't say two to three weeks to make a sale. Honesty is the best policy. I hope that this is communicated to the staff. They should also probably be retrained on cancelation policy. The attitude that the representative had was completely unacceptable. If you want to continue to work in customer service I would consider working on that.

The night we picked out and ordered our daughter’s bed was fine. The gentlemen who helped us was great. Then we ran into issues. We were charged for the item we picked out, and were told that it wouldn’t be delivered until 2/16/25. As we were checking out, we were then told the bed would be delivered 6 days later. 6 days later a bed was delivered, but it was not the one we picked out. It was a bed with a cheaper listed price, and clearly not what was ordered. Within minutes, I called the store and was told that we would have to arrange a date for the wrong product to be picked up and pay a restocking fee. Thankfully the delivery company operator was able to help out and get the delivery truck back within 2 hours. In the mean time our 3 year slept on a mattress on the floor for a month and slept poorly due to rolling off the mattress. I made numerous calls and trips to the store with minimal help. I was told about 2-3 weeks until another would be in stock, then it became the end of February, then by the end of the first week of March. Thankfully, it was delivered the very end of February. Still haven’t heard any follow up from the store, or been offered any kind of discount or compensation for the numerous headaches and hassles. Out daughter loves her bed now that she has it, and if it wasn’t for that, it would be a 1 star review. We bought a living room set from value city in bel air the same weekend, and had 0 issues.

Picked out furniture in December. A gift from my family. Heard nothing for weeks. I finally call, they said they were waiting on 2 pieces. They could do a partial delivery while I wait on the other 2 pieces. Now it's February, still haven't heard from them. I call them to find out the sectional has been discontinued. So when were you going to contact me? They have another store that has the pieces, they are willing to give them to me with a discount because it's a floor sample. Ok.......your store had a floor sample that I saw and sat on when I was there. What happened to those two pieces??? In fact, I asked for the floor model when I was there in December. It couldn't be sold. Fast forward, they offer the credit. When I receive the two missing pieces I need to bring in the credit card to be given the credit. Wait, what? My brother used his credit card and he lives in California. Now he has to fly back here????? NOT!!!! Just credit back his card the difference. Not happy with the customer service AFTER the purchase. I guess she made her commission, the store made their profit and who cares about the consumer anymore. I will be glad when I can close this chapter. Still don't know when the 2 pieces will arrive. It certainly won't be expedited. I guess I have to call back in about a week for an update. Not happy!

It took me 2 days to make my decision. The first day I went in and looked at all the offerings for a new living room set. The selection was excellent. Terri (TJ) was so wonderful to work with. She showed me everything and understood when I said I'll have to go think about it all and come back the next day. I brought my husband with me on the return trip. He helped with selections and Terri took amazing care of us. We purchased a sofa, recliner, chair and ottoman, coffee table, 2 end tables and a TV stand with a fireplace insert. I would leave negative stars if I could. We made a purchase through Ashley/Regency back in September for 2 couches. Was quoted 8-10 weeks. Called at the 7/8 week mark they told me early/mid December. Still heard nothing so I contacted them again and was told the pieces were discontinued and the delivery date is now in march. No one tried to contact us no one told us anything. It’s absolutely horrendous way to do business. If you’re looking for new furniture look some place else.

I have been working with Rachel for about 6 months to get an issue with my old couch corrected. She did a ton of work to find part numbers and replacement cushions and covers to add a bit of life back into my couch. Unfortunately the covers were discontinued when we tried to order them. She had me meet with the store manager and made things right with me. It was a great experience and I’d recommend working with her again!

Charlie was very knowledgeable about the Ashley products and showed me several options that fulfilled my needs. He set up a great low pressure environment and helped give me additional information to narrow down my purchase. I’d definitely go back to him to furnish other rooms in my house!

I bought a bed from Ashley years ago and had issues with the sales person telling me they could order me one thing and in reality couldn’t and sold us something different. Got that worked out with a manager and we actually came back a year later and got a couch - went through the manager who had promised us a great deal - which we got - after the bed snafu. It’s been about 6 years with the couch and all the seams / side walls of the couch cushions have cracked open. For the price we got it at I’m okay. But if we hadn’t gotten it 50+% off I would be pissed. Fast forward and I just went into the store to look at the matching dresser / chest of drawers and nightstands to our bed. $2500 online for them. Go in there store and they told me “great new 20% off sale!” Except the store prices were more then 20% higher then online. They did honor the prices online but you had to know to ask. In addition when I tried all the drawers it felt like wood on wood. Nothing was seated right. When asked what was up the sales person said I had to understand they get opened every day and have been on the floor for three years. I said I planned on opening daily for 15+ years….Told me I should Check online reviews because no persons ever complained about it. Meanwhile at least a third of the reviews commented the drawers didn’t sit properly and glided badly. Ended up at Value City Furniture and bought complimentary dressers and night stand to our bed vs the matching. Gave it 3 stars vs 2 because the manager did right the wrong to us over the bed and their stuff generally looks nice and our bed has held up well over the years. But the couch quality is low and I was not at all impressed with the dressers / night stands.

I recently visited Ashley Furniture in Bel Air Maryland and had a very uncomfortable experience. From the moment we walked in, a sales associate was overly aggressive in her approach. She followed us around the store and kept popping up unexpectedly, making us feel uncomfortable. It was as if we were being stalked rather than helped. After the sixth time of her approaching us, we decided to leave. Based on this experience, we will not be returning to this location.

The purchasing experience was okay—the salesperson was nice but the checkout was EXTREMELY SLOW. We then had to wait over a month for delivery. The best part of the entire experience was the delivery team who was careful and attentive. The television console arrived with some minor marks and dings which we could have accepted with maybe a modest discount. I called the store, trying to reach them while the delivery team was still at my house, and calling at various times, again and again, received no response. Finally, after an hour, my husband tried from his phone and someone picked up on the first ring. No accommodation was made and we are now having to refuse delivery of this piece. We are told to expect at least another two weeks, maybe more, of waiting for a new console to arrive (and hope that this one is not damaged as well.)

This furniture store has a lot going for it—it's spacious, filled with high-quality pieces, and conveniently located with plenty of parking. However, I was surprised by the steep prices. Many items are marked up significantly higher than at other stores selling the same pieces, and I even found some items priced lower on their own website! While it’s great to see the furniture in person before buying, the experience was soured by lackluster customer service. The salesperson kept disappearing and wasn’t very helpful, which was disappointing. Despite the drawbacks, I'd consider returning just to browse and get a feel for the pieces before buying online. It's worth a visit for the in-person experience, but shop around before you commit!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. My wife and I purchased a sectional from here a few years ago with the warranty. We were told my the sales rep that the warranty would cover damage to the framing (we had a similar issue with a previous couch so we wanted clarification.) Recently the framing on the couch broke and we filed a claim with the 3rd party company they use. We were told that we would hear back in 48 hours. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything, I had to call the company just to be told that they denied our claim. They refused to go into specifics of why they did and even told us that they would charge us a fee to have someone come out and inspect the couch. When I called the store back to get some help they kept trying to pass me off to the 3rd party company or to their service center (who told us they couldn’t do anything.) after about 20 minted of talking to a rep at the store they finally connected me to a manger who assured me that he would reach out to the claim department and get more informality. Well…. It has been 2 weeks since that happened and we shockingly have not heard anything. This store will lie to your face to make a sale and just ignore you if you have any concerns. We bow have a broken couch and have gotten no help from the liars who sold it to us. I assume all of these reviews are From people who just bought their furniture and have not had to ask for any help from this company as they couldn’t care less after their commission check hits their bank accounts.

Customer service could be better, a little bottle of water as a courtesy could go a long way while you are shopping and spend thousands here. You can find pretty good deals here. Do review your invoice before paying, mistakes can happen.

order a recliner 6 week ago and have been calling the store for 3 days to get information on when it will come in. No one answers the phone. The manager of this store is a joke. He has his sales people standing around like hawks waiting to attach you soon as you enter the store, but will not answer the phone. next call is to corporate.

We went to Ashley Furniture today 2/18/24 looking for replacement couches for our 14 year old set. Terri Jones greeted us and let us know what specials were going on. I had an excellent experience at the Ashley Furniture Churchville Rd location. The store is large and has plenty of options. My partner and I were looking for a very sturdy yet tasteful bedframe. One of the employees, Amber, was efficient and knowledgeable during checkout and maintained a friendly, professional attitude while making the process quick and painless.

We recently purchased a bedroom set and sectional from your location. The purchasing process was as expected. No real issues. However the delivery arrangement was a nightmare. Amber (I believe in customer service or a receptionist) went above and beyond to resolve our issues. She was very helpful and knowledgeable assisting my wife with completing the delivery process.

We bought a bed for my parents, who needed something very specific, and Scott was so patient and kind. He never rushed or pushed us, and was always informative. We were in and out several times, and he was great every time. They now have the perfect bed!

After seeing a desk online, we visited the store to see if they had one on display which they did. Still one star/update Within 1 month of the couch we bought a seem was coming undone, we contacted for a replacement and the same seems are coming undone again on the new couch, as well as the springs in the cushion are about to come through the seat. Not worth the money spent, it's cheap furniture.

I had the most wonderful sales lady at the Regency/Ashley Furniture in Churchville Maryland. Her name is TJ when she approached my friend and I she asked us if we needed help and we said no just looking. She said if you have any questions let me know I’ll be glad to help. I saw a sectional I really liked. So we went back to talk to her and she was able to make it work for with dimensions and a configuration because the one in the store was too long on one side. I’m over the moon impression with her professionalism and kindness. And I love my new Celadon Raffia sofa and loveseat sectional. Its beige/cream with light gray undertones. And its deep just how I like it. And great quality too! I want to Thank TJ and her manager for taking the time call the manufacturer and get special order the armless loveseat that will fit in my living room space. Yeah ***** 5 stars

We purchased bedroom furniture the first week of August. We received our furniture (2 weeks vs. 6 weeks.). Our sales rep was very friendly. This isn’t the first time we’ve purchased from Ashley, but this time, our bedroom frame was delivered damaged upon arrival and they instructed us to call Ashley the next day. Since delivery, we have called Ashley Management five times in the last two weeks and awaiting a resolution. We will be happy to change our rating to 5 stars and update our review once this is resolved. UPDATE: 9/11/23 - I am updating my review to reflect a response from Ashley furniture. As of this morning, they are mailing out a new part to replace the damage piece. I am updating my 1 star to 4 stars, and then will make it 5 stars once we receive it. We appreciate management for their response and their willingness to work with us. UPDATE: 10/11/23 - Ashley Furniture deserves all 5 stars. We received the side railing replacement this week to replace our damaged piece. Thank you Ashley Furniture for following through and making us a happy customer!

My sales associate, Joanne Wagner, could not have been more helpful. Upon arriving, I was dropped off near the front door because of a knee injury that had me relying on a cane to walk. She got a wheelchair and came out to the curb to assist me. Without this expedited transport method we would have been hard-pressed to tour the entire store. Upon describing what type of furniture we were interested in, she led us to several attractive optional pieces to compare. This continued thru 5 separate furniture needs. All 5 pieces we were interested in seeing were presented by Joanne and she adequately provided answers to all our questions. She made certain that we knew the differences in each option. It was a long visit but we left with our sales receipt and the knowledge that Ashley would deliver all 5 pieces according to our timetable

Came in looking for a new mattress and frame/headboard. The salesperson Abdul S. was very helpful in assisting to make selections and was even able to get approval to get better pricing beyond sale pricing and lower delivery cost. It was a positive experience and looking forward to receiving the new mattress and frame/headboard picked out. Would definitely return to this location for future furniture purchases. Churchville Ashley Furniture I would NEVER AGAIN buy from! On 5/08/2023 the customer service my military husband and I received from the “manager” was problematic. Our order was canceled over the phone WITHOUT our permission then they tried charging a 30% restocking fee almost $700 without our knowledge!! We literally had to come up to the store to rectify the situation especially since we paid over $3200 in CASH for this expensive order. Since this store is independently owned there was no corporate customer service number. I will post on social media as well to be aware of the scammy fine print!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!! Ashley Homestore seriously damaged my mailbox and delivered the wrong furniture. Over 4 months later and my order is not complete and they have not reimbursed me for the property damage. This has been the worst furniture purchase that I have ever had or heard of. We purchased a sectional at the Churchville location on Nov 12,2022 for just over $3,000. Was told it would be ready for delivery in 4 weeks ( no problem ), 5 weeks went by and no contact. Called them and they said it should be another week. 2 weeks past, no contact, called again and they said they see it should be there soon. Eventually was scheduled for delivery on February 11th ( 91 days later !!!). At this point we were annoyed but whatever not a huge deal. On the day of delivery they unpacked the furniture and we noticed one part of the sectional was not what we ordered. There should have been cup holders , there weren’t. Ok that’s fine things happen. Driver took notes and pictures and we thought they made a report. They said we could keep the piece until we got the new one. Still to us it was a simple mistake and not a huge deal. Then after they left we see that our mailbox and post (which I had just installed a couple months prior) is now at a 45degree angle from the delivery truck hitting it. The post was snapped almost all the way through and the mailbox itself was dented. Called customer service , who asked for pictures of the mailbox and said they would forward it to the claims department and they would reach out to us in 72 hours. Asked if there was a way for me to contact them directly. And they said they only send them emails and there was no direct number for them or for customers. Waited until Feb 16th – called again . Was told they don’t see any record of the issue and asked for pictures of the wrong furniture and the mailbox. Gave me the same line about forwarding the issue up and waiting 72 hours. Feb 27th – called again , was again asked for the same pictures and given the same line about forwarding the issues up. Feb 28th was called by Yuri Rodriquez that said the delivery driver worked for them and they would take care of the mailbox and they would come out in a couple days to fix it. Didn’t hear back from them. Tried to call several times Finally got ahold of him and was told that “ The driver said that they didn’t hit the mailbox and they wouldn’t be doing anything about it, that if I still had an issue I need to call Ashley furniture again. Multiple calls to customer service , same line that they would follow up in 72 hours , with nobody ever following up about the property damage. Between Jan24th and now I have made over 20 phone calls to this company to try and get my issues resolved. Early March was called about the replacement furniture piece to schedule delivery , asked them to deliver to store and I will pick up from there since I don’t trust their drivers at this point. They agreed and said it should be ready for pickup in a week and they would call when its ready. 2 weeks later (March 21st) got a call from the store saying they were ready to schedule delivery. I informed the rep that I was supposed to pick up from the store. They said they would check , and then told me it was delivered to the store , and then sent back to the warehouse. Then I was told again it would be at the store on Friday (March24th) and they would call when its ready. It is now March 27th (135 days from ordering) I still do not have the piece of furniture I paid for and they have done nothing about my damaged mailbox. Update : Now the fabric on the couch is tearing from inside the couch.

We stopped in to 'browse' for an end table. Kesha was our sales associate. We told her we were looking for an end table and showed her pictures of other items in our living room. We are both in our 80's and walking with canes so she suggested she would look through the showroom and try to save us some steps. She did suggest several items and we had also taken a limited look around. We were able to find a piece but it was out of our price range. Kesha was able to work with her manager and get the price into our affordable range. Upon completion of the transaction Zarion "Z" wrapped the piece in plastic and was very capable in placing it in our vehicle.

Zarion provided an excellent CSR experience. Christian handled the sale, and was courteous, knowledgeable and both were super efficient.

I went to the Ashley furniture outlet in Churchville and had a great experience. Kevin the Sales Associate greeted us at the door. He saw my husband a few days prior and remembered his name. He provided detailed information on the furniture set that we were interested in buying. He was Knowledgeable about the inventory. He allowed us time and space when we needed to discuss privately to make a decision. We bought the first set and he promised to continue to work with us as we need to measure our space. When it came to paying for our furniture Amber from customer service diligently prepared our papers. She patiently waited as we had to call our financial institution multiple times to authorize the payment. A few days prior she patiently helped my husband locate information about a warranty on a previous furniture set that we bought from a different Ashley furniture store when we erroneously were told by an associate in Hunt Valley Store that we had to go to the original store. She was courteous and pleasant. Because of the service and reception that we received from Kevin and Amber as well as others we will definitely return to the store to buy our other furnitures. Ashley Furniture outlet at Churchville is 40 minutes from our home. The Hunt Valley store is 15 minutes. Keep up the great work. See you later Christie and Harley

We had a wonderful experience today at this store. Our Salesperson Christian was terrific in helping us selecting a bedroom set for my granddaughter. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the products. He was very professional and personable which made our experience fun and not stressful. When we went to checkout, Pumulo was so pleasant to speak with. She handled our transaction and explained everything so we understood and the process was quick and easy. This was our first visit to the Ashley location in Churchville, MD., and we were met by Christian, who was very attentive, helpful and patient. We appreciate all that he did for us, and today our sofa was delivered in perfect condition and we are very happy with it. We did not know that pillows would be included! Fast and efficient delivery men also. We also love the Pouf that we purchased for a foot rest. We will definitely buy more furniture there in the future, and tell our family and friends about this lovely store.

My boyfriend and I came in the store last night in search for a bed frame as our 2 year old frame from Ikea broke last night. We were helped by sales associate Kevin who was awesome and very resourceful! While my boyfriend and I were extremely anxious due to this unexpected event, Kevin assured us that everything would be okay, and it was! He found us a beautiful bed frame for an AMAZING price and was super helpful the entire process. We were also assisted by customer service rep. Amber who was extremely friendly and helped our last steps go by as efficiently as possible. I would recommend these two associates as well as the store to anyone! Very large selection of living room furniture, our sales associate Abdul was knowledable and quick to give us prices and availablity. Customer service representative Amber was pleasent and quick at completing our check out and giving us a delivery date. Over all a very pleasant experience.

The amount of 5 star reviews is astounding and I believe 100% people were compensated in some manner for their positive reviews... Let me tell you the real deal. I RARELY POST REVIEWS. Will never shop here again. All I wanted to do was order a replacement cushion. Ordered September 17th. Told 12 weeks for shipping. They couldn't ship to our home, we asked if it could come to the store and we could pick up. They said sure, but wanted to charge a $100 fee to have it shipped from their warehouse to their store. We refused to that. At 12 weeks on December 10th I called to check in on order status. A male rep told me that they had been shipped and allow 7-10 business days. I called on Friday 12/23, just hoping they might be in and I could snag them for Christmas. The male rep assured me nothing yet but they would call when they came in. Today, 12/27 I spoke with Brittany, who stated when looking up my order the order was just placed on the 10th of Dec. I said no I placed in September. She raised her voice and clearly with an attitude said NO DECEMBER 10th... I asked to speak with a manager. The manager Paloma recalls speaking to me the week prior and she said that she is not sure what's going on. Call the service department who handles these things. Now the service department says the cushions will be shipped to a Delaware warehouse, not the store, and they don't have a rep assigned to this order request. WHERE HAS IT BEEN THE LAST THREE MONTHS?! for a cushion and a cover. $300+ and horrible customer service, liars regarding shipping. No organization. Outrageously overpriced. We had to negotiate not paying $100 in shipping to have Ashley ship them to their own store so we could pick them up! We have requested a refund and I will never suggest working with this company or their affiliated store/partners again.

Will not be back.

Bought a dining room set for our new home on September 21st checked to make sure it was in stock and was assured that “all they had to do was Move a few chairs from one warehouse and we would be good for a delivery date within 7 to 10 days….. Called the store 2 weeks later and no one answered the phone…..waited another week and stopped by in person to check on the delivery date and found out they never moved the chairs to the other warehouse like promised I was told I would receive a call within 48 to 72 hours and of course never did! Went in to cancel the order and was told I could not do so until the chairs were moved to the warehouse on 10/19 came back on 10/19 and still could not cancel since the chairs were still not moved! I ended up canceling the charge with my credit card company. Totally unprofessional staff that does not follow through with their commitments! I bought a bedroom set from Value City and had a delivery date the day I made the purchase and delivery within 7days! Never again will I deal with Ashley Furniture, I will however continue to do business with Value City Furniture who I always have had excellent customer service.

The moment my family and I walked in, Mr. Charlie greeted us and allowed us to shop. He would check in on us periodically and interacted with my children, but he was NEVER "pushy". He helped us fill out a credit application and even had Zarion call to get our credit limit raised! Mr. Charlie was with us the whole time and made sure we got the best deal we could. He was so kind and patient and very sweet to my 3 boys...he even gave them tootsie pops while they were waiting. He was the sweetest salesman we've ever come across. Zarion was very sweet as well, explaining the financing to us and making sure we understood everything before we walked out the door. TJ at Ashley Furniture in Churchville MD. is the BEST !! We walked in expecting to be the "meat" in the shark tank (like used car shopping) but we we were warmly welcomed by TJ.. She showed us many options for our requests and NEVER pushed or forced us to settle on what she thought was best for us. Will I shop with her again? YOU BET !!

If I could rate zero stars I would. This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my 35 years on earth. Where do I start? The manager Tracey is very clearly on speed, she runs around like a crazy person and won't leave you alone and let you shop in peace. She ambushed us as soon as we walked in the door it felt like we didn't even get to take a single breath before she was on top of us talking extremely loudly. My father was asking her about door way widths that are acceptable for certain sofas in the store since we have a fairly small house and she wouldn't let him finish any of his sentences in full she kept cutting him off and giving answers that made no sense to simple questions. Tracey was horrible to work with and is the sole reason I will not be coming back to this Ashley. Our sales person, TJ was nice, but we barely got to interact with her since Tracey wouldn't leave us alone. Horribly run.

So ordered furniture was told be there in 12 weeks got an email saying will be 4 weeks later go up to look around at desks found out that the end table was disconnected were not fulfilling the order had to drive to next store to get on that was slightly damaged then when furniture did come the couch got damaged was told it doesn’t fit not the store problem now the corporate lackey says they not responsible for the damages caused by the delivery guys will tell everyone to swim away from here

Our sales professional at Ashley was Jasmine and we can’t say enough good things about how excellent our experience was. We received help with so many things we didn’t really consider but that she took the time to point out. Her help went a long way in us procuring the best design and quality furniture we could hope for. There’s lots of Ashley’s…but only one Jasmine!

We ordered a new sleeper sofa from Ashley Churchville. This is the fourth major piece of furniture we have purchased from Ashley in three different states. The others went well, but our experience at the Churchville store was so exceptional I had to write a review. After extensive online searching we found the couch we wanted in stock and on sale. But the "Minimum width for doorway delivery" was 32"--2.5 inches wider than the doorway to the room where we wanted it. Sales Associate, Terri measured the couch and found it that it would still fit, while General Manager, Tracy accepted her conclusion. The delivery went like clockwork and the room now has a comfortable, decor-fitting, sleeper sofa. Thanks Terri, Tracy, and the Churchville store owners for creating such an effective team.

I will see about giving 5 stars when I have them come back to fix the couch..it’s a Sectional and it coming apart in two places..

All and all it was a good experience. Except the communication on the sale that was going on. I was told the sale was everything. When I went to purchase i was told it was only on floor models!! It did not say that in the flyer I was given or by the sales person. He did do everything he could to get me the best possible price.

If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered furniture in December and was told it would take until March. I was called in March saying that it was delayed until May. I was called again today and they said they discontinued my furniture and I wasn't getting it after paying for it when I ordered. Completely unethical business practice. Will never shop here again.

My experience from POS to delivery was outstanding. I received communication the day before as they stated would occur. I received delivery notifications when they were 15 minute out and the delivery guys were fantastic. I also had an opportunity to work with Devyn Kolcun, Sales Manager who simply put, cares about the experience. I worked as a leader for Best Buy Corporate for 5.5 years and can state, with the level of service I receieved would shop there again and would offer referrals as well. Great job and thank you!

Typically you walk into a furniture store and there are a dozen well dressed men ready to pounce. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a wonderful young lady named Liz. She was very polite, professional and not pushy at all. I wandered the store for a while and returned with several barcodes of items I was interested in. Liz was able to help me find items was looking for, in the colors and patterns I preferred. Due to crazy sales going on during Labor Day, several items were on back order, but that's to be expected. I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience thanks to Liz. I will be returning to this particular Ashley HomeStore for all of my future purchases. Boston > Jersey.
