Thomas McClowskey was exceptional helping me pick out the right pieces for our small area. He was patient and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed. Haven't shopped at Ashley's for a couple years. Not sure why after this experience I'll definitely be back The manager is a jerk. Hope you don't have to deal with him. .

We started off by looking at a bedroom set,but then I noticed a platform bed and a sled bed which caught my attention. I looked all around and that one always drawn me back to it. Very nice and sturdy, blackish brown color Just love the way it stood out,that was the one I wanted.The gentleman was very happy to help me,he was knowledgeable and give good advice on what type of mattress that I should get. So when my husband came into the store,he notice that he was walking slow with a cane , and asked him would you like a wheelchair,and he said yes. To my surprise he kindly push him around in the store,and boy did he enjoyed thank,he really appreciate the associate help.So at that point I knew we had the right person to help us out. Which made us want the bed set more,we told him our budget and he went from that point to get us what we want. We are very grateful that we stopped at Ashley Furniture Store. We really live our set,thanks Ashley Furniture Store Associate.

Nice and friendly staff

I purchased a table from this store about a month ago and it was delivered two weeks ago. A few days ago, we noticed that the underside of the table was torn, which appears to be a defect. I already visited the store in person and was asked to send photos by email, which I did. However, I still haven’t received any response. I would really appreciate it if someone could follow up and help resolve this issue.

Overall the shopping experience at the Baltimore National Pike location was great! Everyone was polite and tried to assist. However, im very disappointed in how much your nickle and dimed with services. You opt to pay for delivery but they no longer take the old furniture and then you also have to pay for the option to have then set up the furniture in the location of your home. I feel like thats poor customer service. Furniture is not cheap and consumers choose Ashley's for the quality of the furniture and great indoor customer service is not extended through the entire process is disheartening.

My salesperson was Fabulous! I came to AF looking for a reclining loveseat and reclining chair. That was the beginning of my sales person’ going back and forth and up and down the furniture aisles showing me what was available. I kept changing what furniture I wanted for my house. I felt silly not making up my mind. If he felt frustrated he never displayed it. I was glad I finally chose the first set I wanted I also I was glad the sales person was still smiling. P. S The manager who put the financial agreement together also displayed the same level of attention to her job ad by extension to me. She easily explained each step of the financing my rights as a customer and took care to answer my questions.

I Purchased Navi Sofa on 27th Dec and before sales I was told if I don't like the Sofa just reject it and the delivery person will take the order back, i received the order in 2nd Friday and I told them to give me 5 mins i will check and let you know, Immediately the left the place within seconds the customer service after sales in very poor, I Don't Recommend.

Ashley furniture was the last furniture store we visited on Black Friday with my sons. We were immediately greeted with warmth and kindness by Thomas (another store had plenty of reps milling about, but they seemingly sized us up and went on their business). The selection was pretty good and Thomas did a good job explaining the quality and policies. We ended up making a purchase, and I couldn’t be happier with how smooth the process was and how things were explained. Would shop here again.

Don't buy the warranty from them. We did and our furniture had a warranty issue. Despite calling and talking to people over 5 times, nobody calls back and we have gotten nothing but the run around. Our furniture still has the issue despite the fact that it is practically brand new. Service dept does not return calls. Warranty with them is a rip off. Save your money.

You guys are very selfish and not customer-centric. Your sales person at Catonsville ordered a wrong profile pillow and you guys find it difficult to change it. You guys always have one error or the other and the store manager sooo unprofessional. But when they want to take your money they be drooling all over you.

My wife and I walked in to Ashley Home Furniture in search of a bedframe and mattress. The associates are friendly and attentive when you’re buying furniture, but their attitude changes the moment they realize you’re not making a purchase. We bought bedroom sets, a sofa, and love seats totaling several thousand dollars, and the buying experience itself was pleasant. However, during delivery, the sofa didn’t fit through the stairs, so we returned it and went back for a refund. When we arrived, a store associate greeted us and asked how they could help. After we explained that we needed to speak with a manager about the refund, the associate simply walked away without further assistance. When we finally spoke with the front desk and the manager, they initially tried to refuse the refund, even though I was clearly promised one if the sofa did not fit. I had to argue to get them to honor their word. They eventually agreed, but their demeanor was unpleasant and dismissive, making the entire experience extremely uncomfortable.

The service is horrible, they never answer the phone. Had a hard time getting the certificate of insurance sent to my condo for delivery of sofa that I purchased. When they finally did schedule me and appointment it was for a time slot outside of the time that my condo allows delivery. I explained to them in the beginning that the sofa had to be delivered between 9-5 they gave me a time slot of 3-7 and said they could not promise that the delivery would be before 5 pm . I had a hard time reaching the store by phone. I had to call customer service to call and they couldn’t get through either.

Omair was great. We are looking for beds and bedroom stuff. He gave a lot of advice, patiently answered our questions and listened our needs. Process was really smooth and I think we made a good purchase!

I had ordered furniture online for my son who was moving across country. We were given an exact delivery date. The day before, we learned a mistake happened, and wouldn’t be delivered for at least 2-3 weeks. I called the local store and spoke to Mana on the phone. His expertise and kindness to me was fabulous. He was able to reorder the exact furniture and arrange delivery and assembly only one day after the original date!! Thank you sooo much!

Tom McCloskey is the best sales associate I’ve ever had (and that’s counting every shopping experience, furniture or not). My partner and I had previously purchased a bedroom set from Ashley but it didn’t work for the space so we had store credit to use — Tom was very attentive while also giving us the time we needed to work through the room measurements, layout, etc. In the end, he took excellent care of us and we can’t wait to get our new bedroom thanks to him and team at Ashley-Woodlawn!

My parents recently purchased a sectional from the showroom at Ashley Furniture, and what started off smoothly turned into a really frustrating and disappointing experience. The sectional looked fine in the store, but once it was delivered to our home, it clearly didn’t fit properly in the space. When the delivery was made, my dad — who doesn’t speak English very well — was asked to sign the paperwork, and the staff made it seem like everything was perfectly fine. We later called the store and sent them pictures, and they even acknowledged that the sectional didn’t fit at all. But then came the excuse: since it was a showroom piece, it was a final sale — no returns, no exchanges. We went back to the store to speak with someone in person. The same salesperson who helped us admitted that he never told us it was a final sale. He was also extremely arrogant and dismissive, offering no real solution other than “we’ll check with corporate.” A week later, we were told the same thing — final sale, nothing they can do. This whole situation was handled terribly. No accountability, no transparency, and zero customer service. I’ll never shop here again and will make sure my family doesn’t either

I was aware they could not put it together, but they can put the sofa in any room of my choice . They just left my sofa in my hallway . I love your store . I need a new bedroom set . if , they are not allowed to take your furniture up stairs I have to look somewhere else.

I would not recommend this store. We are very disappointed in their level of customer service. From not being truthful about not having a table in stock when we ordered it with other items, misrepresenting when the table would be delivered (we were given several different delivery dates), and including when we finally cancelled the order after finding out that the table was discontinued. We had to travel back to the store to cancel adding more inconvenience to an already frustrating situation. Compounding the unbelievable lack of customer support is we were told the refund check would take 10 business days at the store, it’s approximately 1 month with no check ( we paid cash for the whole order I must add) so after calling customer support, we were told we were given incorrect information and it would take in additional week or so, for the refund. Unbelievable. Stay away from this store!

I love the couch that I received, but the customer service was horrible! The way they make you pay for your furniture in the store could really use a procedural refresh. The general manager of the store talked with me and gave me an exact price for three pieces of furniture, he then charged my credit card and I paid the full amount confidently, knowing that the general manager knew what he was doing. He then charged my credit card and I paid the full amount, confidently assuming that the general manager knew what he was doing. However, then an itemized receipt was created and I briefly looked, saw the accurate total amount and theee items. I should have fully examined this receipt (that was created AFTER I already paid) because it only listed two of the pieces I wanted and the third thing on the receipt was the furniture protection plan. I realized this error the day before delivery. When I called to take care of it a sales person at the store told me that I would most likely get the third piece sent to me at no cost, but that the manager would call me. The manager never called back and he never called back a second time when I tried again I had to go to the store to speak to the manager in person. He would not acknowledge the error and gave me basically a $25 discount which was nothing. I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone who can help me. This is ridiculous! They should not have clients pay for items after a verbal quote , they should look at a printed out itemized paper just like all the other furniture stores give you before you pay. In addition to that, their manager doesn’t call you back and their sales people give you false information and tell you you will most likely have your problem taken care of at no cost. It’s such a headache!

Sana is great! Edit 9/23/2024: Takes very long time to deliver. It’s been over 5 weeks, we still haven’t received our sofa chaise. Also no tracking or update of order unlike Bob’s, they have tracking updates. Called customer service twice, they said arrival date to warehouse is September last week, and now called again delivery pushed back to October. Also, the one who selled us, Sana, “gave” us a “discounted price” because there’s a “sale”. From $1299 to $950ish, thought we had a good deal but went home and check the website for that same product and the price on the website is the same as the “discounted”. So basically we can typically order it online and get a cheaper price without fooling us that she gave a big discount in-store.

She showed us a variety of recliners as well as a living room set that I was interested in. Sana also offered discounts that would help lower the price of the furniture we were purchasing. If I could.give a zero at this point I would. After spending 2 hours in store and deciding on a mattress, my fiance and I were quoted a price by one of the MANAGERS. After getting approved for a credit card to finalize the sale, the manager "received a call" with an issue. We were then told that the call received informed the manager that he couldn't give us the quoted price of $1000 because it wouldn't profit the store. Instead he had to charge me $1600 for our mattress. And there was, of course nothing he could do. So now I have a credit card for no reason that can't be closed without impacting my credit and no mattress. It's a real shame because both the manager and the person he was training seemed nice and easy to work with. I was sorely mistaken. I left the store quickly because I was so upset and felt very taken advantage of.

Sana was probably one of the best guides i’ve met, me and my mother have been looking for a couch for almost 8 months and we found the perfect one with her help! We love the couch and appreciate everyone’s help!!

I ordered my table six weeks ago, and I was told I would receive it within two to six weeks. After six weeks had passed, I called to check on the status, only to be informed that the table had been discontinued. They offered to find a different table that matched the chairs I had ordered. I requested a refund, but they insisted on speaking to the manager to see if they could locate the original table elsewhere. After waiting an hour without a response, I called back and was told it would take another three weeks to get it. This whole experience has been a complete joke—I'm extremely disappointed.

Don't buy from this Ashley furniture. If you do, don't bother with the warranty. They won't actually cover it even though they say they will. Your order will be delayed. They never answer their phone or return calls. The furniture is JUNK. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra on quality furniture. Whatever you buy from here will fall apart long before your 5 year warranty is up and then they won't cover it anyway.
