I was very disappointed with Ashley. Purchased a Chest for my son. Was charged a certain price. Next day same chest was marked down $100.00. Spoke with Manager said could not adjust price and credit the difference.because had gone through, told him any ither company would certainly have given me the sale price. Therefore, i will not shop ag Ashley’s again . His reasoning was not accurate. Of course he could have credited my Visa. Actually, that is a very poor practice of Ashley’s.

I love the couch that I received, but the customer service was horrible! The way they make you pay for your furniture in the store could really use a procedural refresh. The general manager of the store talked with me and gave me an exact price for three pieces of furniture, he then charged my credit card and I paid the full amount confidently, knowing that the general manager knew what he was doing. He then charged my credit card and I paid the full amount, confidently assuming that the general manager knew what he was doing. However, then an itemized receipt was created and I briefly looked, saw the accurate total amount and theee items. I should have fully examined this receipt (that was created AFTER I already paid) because it only listed two of the pieces I wanted and the third thing on the receipt was the furniture protection plan. I realized this error the day before delivery. When I called to take care of it a sales person at the store told me that I would most likely get the third piece sent to me at no cost, but that the manager would call me. The manager never called back and he never called back a second time when I tried again I had to go to the store to speak to the manager in person. He would not acknowledge the error and gave me basically a $25 discount which was nothing. I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone who can help me. This is ridiculous! They should not have clients pay for items after a verbal quote , they should look at a printed out itemized paper just like all the other furniture stores give you before you pay. In addition to that, their manager doesn’t call you back and their sales people give you false information and tell you you will most likely have your problem taken care of at no cost. It’s such a headache!

Sana is great! Edit 9/23/2024: Takes very long time to deliver. It’s been over 5 weeks, we still haven’t received our sofa chaise. Also no tracking or update of order unlike Bob’s, they have tracking updates. Called customer service twice, they said arrival date to warehouse is September last week, and now called again delivery pushed back to October. Also, the one who selled us, Sana, “gave” us a “discounted price” because there’s a “sale”. From $1299 to $950ish, thought we had a good deal but went home and check the website for that same product and the price on the website is the same as the “discounted”. So basically we can typically order it online and get a cheaper price without fooling us that she gave a big discount in-store.

If I could.give a zero at this point I would. After spending 2 hours in store and deciding on a mattress, my fiance and I were quoted a price by one of the MANAGERS. After getting approved for a credit card to finalize the sale, the manager "received a call" with an issue. We were then told that the call received informed the manager that he couldn't give us the quoted price of $1000 because it wouldn't profit the store. Instead he had to charge me $1600 for our mattress. And there was, of course nothing he could do. So now I have a credit card for no reason that can't be closed without impacting my credit and no mattress. It's a real shame because both the manager and the person he was training seemed nice and easy to work with. I was sorely mistaken. I left the store quickly because I was so upset and felt very taken advantage of.
Sana was probably one of the best guides i’ve met, me and my mother have been looking for a couch for almost 8 months and we found the perfect one with her help! We love the couch and appreciate everyone’s help!!
I ordered my table six weeks ago, and I was told I would receive it within two to six weeks. After six weeks had passed, I called to check on the status, only to be informed that the table had been discontinued. They offered to find a different table that matched the chairs I had ordered. I requested a refund, but they insisted on speaking to the manager to see if they could locate the original table elsewhere. After waiting an hour without a response, I called back and was told it would take another three weeks to get it. This whole experience has been a complete joke—I'm extremely disappointed.

Don't buy from this Ashley furniture. If you do, don't bother with the warranty. They won't actually cover it even though they say they will. Your order will be delayed. They never answer their phone or return calls. The furniture is JUNK. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra on quality furniture. Whatever you buy from here will fall apart long before your 5 year warranty is up and then they won't cover it anyway.

I purchased a sleeper Sofa through these guys that fell apart in 3 months, and this store then failed to honor the insurance/warrantee i purchased through them, then this location's manager threatened me and told me never to contact them again or else, I've never had a worse customer experience nor have I had a store manager physically threaten me like this before only to have their corporate customer service do nothing!!!!!!

I’ve been looking in the market for a leather couch with power reclining. All I saw was way too expensive or too big. I happened to find one (Warnerton) that was perfect and moderately price and was able to take advantage of the sale they were having that weekend. The sales people were patience with me accommodating and friendly. I have gone to this location in the past and will use them again for other future furnishings.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is by far the WORSE Ashley’s I ever came across. They are very unprofessional and rude after they get your money. They made a mistake with delivering me the wrong color furniture that I paid $1300 for. They don’t take accountability for their wrong doing and try to blame everything on you. I ordered a tan couch from the showroom floor and they delivered a grey couch that wasn’t even on the showroom floor for display. how do you mess that up? It was THEIR mistake. so November 15th I was due for someone to come to my house to pick up the wrong grey furniture (love seat and couch)and deliver the tan couch that I purchased. The driver did not give me time to meet him and get my furniture taken away, before he pulled off I called him and he tells me oh I already left call and reschedule and pay another $150 fee. So I called the store in cantonville to address the issue and they never have an answer they talk in circles and always say let me have my manager call you back and they never call back. So I called corporate to address the issue and the manager at corporate was just as nasty and rude. All I wanted was the color couch that I paid for. I even was willing to pay again the reschedule fee just to get this couch out out my house and get the couch I originally picked out . The manager said she closed my ticket and was not sending me another driver and how it’s an even exchange and the couch is mines now. They don’t even work with you or care that you’re a paying customer. So now I’m stuck with a grey couch that wasn’t what I originally picked from the showroom floor at the store. They are evil and karma will hit them. Stay away from this store and beware if you want to be tricked and scammed out of your hard owned money. This Ashley is ghetto. Go where people have class and dignity with them.

**BEWARE** If you're even considering buying furniture from this store, I strongly suggest reading this review and checking out the Better Business Bureau website reviews. I made the mistake of buying a sofa bed on November 6th, which arrived at my home today- a full month later on December 6th. But that's not even the worst part. The item delivered was the wrong piece of furniture! I called the store immediately and spoke to the manager (Will). He promised to call me back at noon to check if they had the couch in stock. However, he never did. Upon calling back, I was informed that he had already left for the day. The best is yet to come. When I explained the situation to Aleena Khan, the customer service representative, she blamed me. She explained that it was my fault that the order got messed up because I did not clearly articulate to the sales associate (Ana Rivera) that we wanted the sofa bed option. What??? "Of course I did. However, she was not even willing to consider the idea that THEY made the mistake. Now, I am stuck with a 30% "restocking fee" and no couch. For reference, the sofa bed couch cost $824, and they made a $250 mistake (30% of the cost) that I am paying for. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS FURNITURE STORE!!!!!

Trying to shop on the website, and failing. I've chosen 7 different items to look at as a result of my search with filters, and every one of them is out of stock. There is no option to not search for out of stock items, so I've just wasted my time. Do better with your website. I'll shop elsewhere - someplace that actually has things in stock.

Not that great, initially everything was fine, the salesmen were a bit pushy, but the delivery was where the problem was. The deliverymen barely spoke any English, only knowing key phrases enough to do the job, while rushing out the door when I wanted to send the item for return, well $300 later (pick up fee and restocking fee), I now have to wait for them to get the item I ordered out of my living room. Don't let them rush out on you if you use them. I bought my last few pieces of furniture from Ashley over the years, and I'm still looking to buy some more things but I don't think I will come back after this. If not for this I probably would have used them again. The experience overall just left a "bad taste" and felt like bad business to me. I recommend going elsewhere and buying from a company with better customer service and return policies. If there's a problem they don't want to help, but they will gladly take your money and run.
We purchased $3673 of furniture at Ashley’s Aug 25. The salesman Thaer promised us we would have it delivered by sept 15. We purchased this based on this delivery “promise” due to needing it for a special occasion on Sept 23. We asked to cancel it since we have not received it yet and they said it’s 30% of sale to cancel the order. We are extremely disappointed. The salesman was so assuring we would have it. I feel he totally lied to get the sale. We expressed how important it was to get it before the 23rd and they did not fulfill their promise. Very unresponsive as well.

I went in ready to buy a sofa, with cash. Bryan came over and began to tell me about wait times, etc. I asked about the free delivery stated in their flyer. The flyer had no fine print. Bryan then informed me there was a minimum purchase of $1500 to get free delivery. I said its false advertising and illegal. He said do you want to speak to the manager, and I said, no, you speak to him. The manager comes over belligerantly saying our ad has always said that. So I said, then it's always been false advertising and ILLEGAL. Manager was still arguing with me. I said I'm leaving you just lost a sale. Went directly to Gavigans and got a good deal from nice people. And no wait for delivery .

A nice location with good prices. The customer service is great. I had an issue with an order due to me needing to cancel and they were able to work with me and didn’t give me a hard time. For that I’ll definitely be returning in the future for more furniture purchases.
Very disappointed in our purchase here. Bought a king size mattress and frame here. Their brand mattress. After being repeatedly upsold by the sales people we managed to convince them to look in our budget. Memory foam, felt fine for the 10 minutes or so we laid on it in the store. More than once we were assured by the sales associate and service people that we could return the mattress after 30 days for a full refund. I took off work for the delivery day. The truck no showed. I got no curtesy call or anything. Just a day of vacation burned. Rescheduled for a Saturday and it got delivered. We slept on the mattress for about 2-3 weeks and found that there was a great deal of sinking sagging into the mattress. Whoever is lighter (we are not especially large people) ends up on a slant towards the smaller person- this is a king size mattress. This mattress is not firm enough for us. I called the store to ask about refunds or exchanges. I was told at first that that shouldn't be a problem. Then when the customer service person got in contact with the regional manager suddenly this mattress wasn't covered for refunds or exchanges. He said we had 3 days to figure out if we wanted it not 30 days. How is it possible to figure out if a mattress is going to work for you in 3 days? We were guaranteed our money back before 30 days. It felt extremely scammish. All we could get was our delivery fee back for the missed delivery, and a $50 dollar (that's right you see it) discount on our purchase. Ive never dealt with such a shady company before. Buyers beware. I would have been happy to return this mattress for full price and use that towards a different mattress in store. Over all 0/5 starts. Only buy name brand there because this company will straight lie to you and steal your money while telling you there's nothing they can do about it and cant honor the return policy we were clearly told.

If you could leave zero stars, I would. Tayyad came over to see what he could help with but was not actually wanting to help. The service we were given could only be compared to the sleeziest used car salesperson you could imagine. I don't know if he thought that there wouldn't be a big enough commission for him because of our ages or what. He was not interested in answering any questions or offering suggestions. We left as quickly as we could and went to Columbia where William was very pleasant to work with and didn't make us feel that we were an inconvenience. I suggest if you need anything, DO NOT GO HERE but to Ashley in Columbia instead. It will be a much better experience.

Ashley furniture is the WORST furniture buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We spent nearly 8K on furniture in Nov. of 2022. Putting aside the fact that it took 3 months for our furniture to arrive, when it finally arrived on Feb. 8, 2023. I noticed a manufactures sticker on one of our couches. I peeled it off and there was a huge hole in the couch. I approached the driver who was still in our home, and asked him if he would take that piece of our sectional back and he said that would not be necessary as it would leave our couch missing a piece and instead he would take pictures, which he did, report it and that Ashley’s would be in touch with a replacement piece. Fast forward to later that day, we called our local store let them know what had happened and they explained they could not do anything at the store level but could email the service center. They asked us to email them with photos which we did immediately. After 48 hours we had not heard back so we called again, the store told us they had not heard back and advised they can’t call the service center and only communicate via email. They advised we call the service center. We then called they service center and again explained our story and we’re asked to send photos, which we did. Since that day Feb. 8th we have been on the phone daily with the store and the service center with zero resolution and no responses to our complaints or the fact that we had a couch delivered with a whole. We spent $8K at this store and it offers ZERO customer service, no communication, no managers to speak with and worst of all damaged furniture. What an incredible disappointment for such a large company that claims to produce excellent furniture. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Because if you ever run into an issue you will get no help from your local store and they have no corporate office to assist. An absolute nightmare. We are still stuck with a coach that has a huge hole in it and zero assistance from The store, customer care or anyone on Facebook.

NEVER EVER BUY anything- not even a $10 duster from this company. Go to Costo where they stand by their products and will refund you if ther standards are not met. There is no customer service @ Ashley and the bed I bought had to be made to break. Spent hardearned money buying a sleigh bed. Took 5 long months to arrive. Six months later, the slat disconnects from the frame around the headboard area. l inspect it and the entire slat system was screwed into the sideboard with four small sized screws. No railings. No support System. My adult weight was being supported by 8 very small screws. I call the store and they send me to a useless customer service line. I call them and they hung up on me twice - their line crackled. third time I get a response to Send pix to an email and wait for a response in 7 to 10 business days. You guessed right- I've been sleeping on the floor on my mattress and nobody has even acknowledged receiving my email and photos. it's been 12 business days and I am due for surgery on my back, of all places in 3 weeks. What a nightmare. I should have spent $300-$400 more to buy a bed at Costco. I have to spend $1000+ and then take this nonsense to the trash. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY even if they are last store on earth, unless you feel like flushing your hard earned $$$ down the toilet.

I purchased there in 2017. The sales person was great. But she didn't stay long and was in sales for some time based on our conversation. Well I paid for one of those furniture demage coverage, it I didn't use it I would get my credit back. We'll must be the fine fine print that it can only be used in the store. No one line purchases or as I was told you just lose your money after 30 days. Now I don't need another lamp or a picture. And items that I found are truly over priced at Ashley can get them at big box store for much cheaper. So never get the so call protection plan even if i had to use it they don't make my furniture anymore. A real rip off and horrible customer service. They could even give me the name if the CEO and clueless on district manger. So I found a face book space were peaple are sharing horror stories. Stopped in the store yesterday to look for a living room set. The salesperson who came up to me, as well as someone identified as the manager, were unable to answer simple questions about furniture dimensions and what models were on the floor for me to look at. Turns out, this store is not part of Ashley corporate but independently owned. Did not buy here and went down the road and purchased from Gavigan's.

My parents and I ordered two sets of tables with chairs during Black Friday of 2021 and had an estimated delivery date of 8-12 weeks as it was an order. We finally received the tables 31 weeks later. 31!!!! I understand that there are supply chain issues going on, but every time I called before they said it's not available yet. Originally we were told by the sales associate that we could get free shipping if we ordered extra chairs and refuse during delivery to get our full money back. Once we refused the extra chairs we were charged with a delivery fee. Called Ashley furniture and all they could tell me is "sorry you no longer meet this promotion". The promotion was 31 weeks ago and youre telling its the same thing? Not only did the manager tell me that the items were delivered to the warehouse in December of 2021, they didnt even attempt to delivery till now. We waited even longer to receive our items and they still charged us shipping. The sales associate clearly lied to us and ended up paying more on items than we were supposed to. 100% will not be shopping here ever again and would recommend everyone to avoid Ashley furniture because clearly the employees are giving false information.

Had a terrible experience with Ashley furniture, specifically the delivery service. I was given a date for delivery, and was told the truck broke down so they couldn't deliver. Then the date was rescheduled for the following day. Sunday comes around and I wait home all down and the delivery never arrived. I was not notified at all that the order would not be delivered. They then proceed to schedule my delivery for Monday, without speaking with me or confirming I would be home. I was not home and they attempted to make a delivery.I never told them I would be home Monday, and then they said well it takes 72 hours to reprocess and schedule a delivery. 0/5 experience and customer service has not been helpful one bit.

I purchased a love seat and a sofa. I waited several months for the delivery. Today it arrived and the 2 delivery guys couldn't get the sofa in my house. I told them to stand it upright and angle but they said no. I agreed to take the love seat and stated I wanted a refund for the sofa. I called the store and was told I would not be allowed a refund for the full amount and they would train 30 percent of my purchase of the sofa When they were bringing in my love seat they kept banging it into my walls and other furniture. I wouldn't recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. I'd give it zero stars if it were an option

Went in nervous, but needing to furnish my new apartment. Nate Was my sales man and he was very attentive and helped me match all the items for my bedroom and living room. Unfortunately they were not able to help me so I went to price busters instead and got everything I needed and more. Everything came in less than a week where as Ashley’s said I would have had to wait 14 weeks.
I love my furniture! Mats was a very professional and honest salesman at Ashley furniture. If you need new furniture at Ashley's I really recommend asking for Mats.
I love this location the nice young lady Tatyana I think that’s her name. She really helped us with deciding . She was patient with us and very friendly:) wish more sales associates were like that . Can’t wait to receive our new furniture. So thanks to the young lady Tatyana were so excited.
I purchased Furniture on Nov 18th and was told at the time of purchase that all items were in stock. The receipt stated 8 to 12 weeks, which I understood given the current COVID delivery times. Upon the end of 12 weeks I went back to the store which I still had not received the items purchased. I noticed on the website the items were now at a sale price 300 dollars less, and I was told by store associates that per the policy I wouldn't be able to receive the discounted price. The store associates then proceeded to show me my order which had a couch of a totally different color than what I ordered. After being argumentative the sales person I dealt with was able to rectify that I was correct. The store associates were argumentative and not accommodating. I will never shop here ever again they have horrible customer service 😒 I got a refund for the couch and I'm still waiting on bed and dining table.
I went to this shop for “just lookin”. But the crew over there were very helpful and nice, and I end up buying. Hayel the tall guy over there was very helpful and understanding. While I was there on of the ladies who work there found a baby fox in the parking lot. She took it to the vet because it was injured. I think her name is Tatyana.Such a great lady. This is the baby fox in the pic.
I was very pleased with Tatyana's customer service and her pleasant personality. I recommend allowing her to assist with your furniture needs. I can't wait to allow her to assist me in shopping for my new dining room set.

I ordered my furniture and was told it would take 6-12 weeks . I checked every few weeks on when it will be delivered they kept changing the date and told me if it would be after my delivery date they will offer me good compensation. I got my delivery yesterday after 5 months and when i called for compensation they told me we gave you a big discount when you ordered so we cant offer anything. they lied to me for 20 weeks they never planned to offer anything. terrible customer service .

If you want your furniture in about six months, then shop at this store… If you want it any sooner, then don’t try to shop here. They’ll tell you an estimated delivery date, provide no updates, and if you call to inquire they just tell you “next month....next month” every time. Complete ridiculousness.
The online purchase process went pretty well. The only issue I have is when I went to the store to see the product before purchasing it online. The salesman wasn't very helpful in getting a power cord for the recliner. He actually said there wasn't one available. I was about to leave the store before I decided to use the cord from another recliner. My plan was to buy the chair at the store but after that experience, I decided to buy it online. I didn't want that store or salesman to get credit for my purchase. Also that salesman and his manager told me the sales price ended that day, however the following day it was still on sale and a price drop of $37.
New update ! We are now at 14 weeks since ordering I was told 2 weeks ago it will be in end of November beginning of December …. Of course I call back and some how now it’s end of December beginning of January ….. guy on the phone says you should probably cancel your order …. So I’ve waited 14 weeks received 3 different times it will come in yet nothing yet and no offer for compensation or anything. The worst part about it I know 2 others who have ordered the same couch from a different location and received they’re orders already this is crazy. I placed an order 10 weeks ago I was told it would take 8-12 weeks. The salesman told me even though it’s saying that it will be sooner I can assure you that. when I called a month ago they said it’s coming in next week. I decided to call again and get an update and now they are saying another 3 weeks . This is past the 12 week window with a lot of run around and no help this is ridiculous. I asked for compensation they said only after delivery can we do that ? How does that make sense they took my money gave me a ton of run around and aren’t even offering to compensate me. I don’t recommend this place at all it’s been a nightmare. I am left with no couch . No compensation . Just run around

The sales representative Ola was very nice and helpful. However, outside of that, working with Ashley Furniture has been a complete NIGHTMARE! My husband and I attempted to make a simple return a few days after a purchase and they kept giving us the run around about getting someone to pick up our return. They kept promising to return our calls but never did and we had to keep calling them for updates. None of the staff ever remembered the status of our issue each time that we called. Ultimately, we were promised a refund to our account since they can’t seem to accept our return, but when we called again we were informed that we’re getting a store gift card that has yet to arrive. We will never be shopping with them again so we definitely have no need for the gift card..
The good news was that the sales associate who helped us in May was very helpful as my wife and I picked out furniture for our newly finished basement. And she effectively managed our expectations, telling me that it was likely our furniture would not be in for up to three months; delivery around the end of August.Since the end of August, the goalposts have been moved multiple times, as two pieces of our sectional sofa still had not been delivered. Last month, they told me that these pieces would be in on 10/6.Since nobody ever answers the phone at the store, I drove over, only to find those two pieces are still missing. In speaking to the manager, the story got more interesting. The pieces I am missing are actually in warehouses in the US, but are committed to other orders - PLACED AFTER I PLACED MINE!The manager has reached out to his supervisors to try to rectify this, but after 48 hours, I still can't get an answer. Still, nobody picks up the phone at the store, and the email address the manager gave me won't recognize my emails. Buyer beware - yes, there are supply chain issues around the world. However, whatever system Ashley has for fulfillment doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.I will update this review if/when my order has been fulfilled.UPDATE 10/14 - For the last week, I've both called customer service and stopped in to the store, and every person tells me a different timeline ranging from a "couple weeks" to February. I tried to get the regional director on the phone (the store manager mentioned him by name), but the customer support team told me there's no way to connect me, and refused to have him call me.One of the managers at the store showed me a list of dates for shipments, complete with how many of my outstanding chaise (the ottoman is now in stock, so I'm only waiting on one piece now) coming in the next few months, but she couldn't tell me where I am on the waiting list.I've taken the suggestion of "Jessica O." And reached out by email to the support team, but I can't help but get the impression they really don't want to hear from me. Her response is clearly copied and pasted - if she really wants to help, she has my full name and the location of the store I made my purchase. DO NOT SHOP AT THE CATONSVILLE STORE. I have been since June trying to get my furniture. It wasn’t until I persisted for a status that I had to finally cancel the order and get my money back. At first they told me they would have to charge me a 10% restocking fee on furniture they never could produce. Then I was told that I was outside of the timeline and they would not charge me. Then the credit card I used I had to be canceled due to fraudulent charges I no longer have. And first I was told by a representative they would take the information confirming that from the bank over the phone. Then I was told in this age of Covid I have to get a letter signed by the bank indicating I got a new card. I asked for a check and they do not reimburse by check. Wish me luck. I asked myself so long as I get my money back why is it important to Ashley Furniture for me to prove I got a new card. Take your business somewhere else or if you decide to do business with them prepare yourself
ZERO STAR !!!!!!!! Never ever go to Ashley store, these people and their customer service is pathetic, I placed my order in June and they asked me to pay full amount in order to receive the furniture in 8 to 12 weeks, and it was a BIG BIG BIG lie, they never delivered my furniture, it's been 5 months and my house is still empty.. They never called me to inform about this inconvenience and never gave me any satisfied customer service. So I went to the store to talk to the manager and as usual the Manger never showed up, and they just gave me my money back after 5 months. So disappointed!!

Don't even waste your time here. We bought a complete living room set in the beginning of June 2021. It's still not here. The first time I called in August, they said it would be here on the 31st. Then, I called Sept. 1, and they said it would be here on the 14th. No explanations, no information, nothing, and bordering on rude when they said they had a paper I had initialed that said 16 weeks for delivery, and I asked them if I had initialed it, then why didn't I have a copy of said paper, cos all my paperwork says 12 weeks? No response :-P 16 weeks later, I decide to call the store and ask for a refund. No answer. I try half an hour later, and let it ring for 2 minutes. No answer. This is during normal business hours around 10-12. I get frustrated and call customer service (And Ashley furniture doesn't make it easy to FIND that main number...just sayin'.) and I spoke to a great CSR named Taylor in Brandywine, who was able to give me information about my order, and when the last few pieces were expected in, and the dates of upcoming shipments of the missing pieces in my order. The Catonsville store has access to that information. Why couldn't they do that when I asked? Because I spoke to her, I decided not to cancel the order, and Catonsville is lucky in that regard. But not setting foot in THAT store again.

The worst store on the planet!!!!!! It appears that they outsource their deliveries to a "third party vendor". The issue is that this vendors doesn't meet the same professional that I received when I purchased my bedroom set . The furniture was purchased 0n 18 Aug.2021 . Now on the date that the delivery was shipped, I noted that the driver parked on the business property two doors away a never made an attempted to check to see the address where he was. My guess we are a business , and because it was a bedroom set the driver was probably confused. But the driver should had confirmed the location but instead they leave while I'm attempting to yell and wave to get there attention and just leave without delivering my furniture. Now I have to wait for a later date to get my shipment. No to mention, "Don't Ask for a refund, they will threaten keep 30% of your money. they even proposed charging me another delivery charge!!!! How about that for customer service. I found out that the driver side no one answered upon their arrival, Well I guess not if you are at the wrong place. Oh by the way my address is clearly marked on the mailbox, the drive stated he took a picture of the door so he could prove the delivery was made . Again they should have payed some attention to me yelling and waving at them. In closing, their third party delivery company should keep close to the professional standards of both Regency/ Ashely

One of the more impressive furniture stores within the Catonsville area. The customer service was great, I went in looking for a new couch and Ms.Aleena was able to accommodate all of our wishes and we left the store happy.

My initial visit went fairly well. The second visit to finalize the sale was not good at all. The sales lady whose name is Hope, was suppose to meet me there to complete the sale (it was her day off and I was willing to reschedule but she was adamant on meeting me that Wednesday) but she never showed up. She never called to cancel the appointment nor did she attempt to notify me that she could not make it. She did not call the store to see if I showed up, which I did, and I waited almost an hour for her to show before I left. I ended up going to Ashley's in Columbia where I was greeted by a terrific salesman whose name is Eric and he assisted me with my new purchase and all is well. Just waiting on the arrival of my new merchandise. Thank you Eric for a job well done and, excellent customer service.
Update: Went back after my vacation to get my refund and was charged STILL charged the $89 delivery fee despite then not delivering the couch I purchased. In addition to $288 "restocking fee" for the couch I WANTED. I would not recommend this store. Fine in store purchasing experience. Everything after was awful. Purchased my couch in March 2021. It was set to be delivered on June 23, 2021. When my time window was confirmed I had the couch I'd been using moved out. The couch did come during the time window on the 23rd. When it arrived, The delivery people measured the door frames and the exterior of the packaging of the couch and shook their head and would not bring it in. It was a loveseat, I was told by my sales rep at Gavigan's Furniture up the street, that any loveseat should be able to get through a 29-inch door because you can turn it to its side and turn it different angles. I was trying to explain this to the delivery people but they did not speak English. They took the couch and left. I spoke to Ashley about it they were trying to come up with replacements but nothing panned out. They said I had to come into the office to get a refund. I left my house at 7:00 p.m. because I was extremely busy to go get a refund and they said they could not issue me a refund for 72 hours, and at that time I would have to come in. I am going on vacation. So basically at the end of the day I spent $1,400 in March, I currently have no couch, I also don't have a refund, and I have to be inconvenienced further after my vacation in order to get my money back. I went up the street and got a couch 10 minutes after leaving the store that was in stock and can be delivered in 12 days. I would never purchase anything from Ashley furniture again. Very unaccommodating, not helpful at all, terrible experience.
I really had a bad experience with them first of all I order a coffee table it was supposed to deliver in 4- 6 week but it took them 3 to 4 month still not delivered then finally I went to their store and chose one of the sample in the floor bc I wasn’t getting the one that I order bc their excuse that it is out of stock now. Why they couldn’t tell me when I ordered it??? They have very poor service . So the sample I chose the person deliberately scratched it while delivering. My experience is really bad. This is my last time purchasing anything from them.
I was on the search for a couch and stopped here. They had a decent selection. Hope was my sales advisor and helped me on my search. Hope was very helpful and showed me pieces within my budget. I did notice that other sales advisors were sitting at desks and when you walked by none of them would even look up and smile or say hi. We purchased items from them back in early March -- still no furniture, we've been told lie after lie and keep getting "delayed" -- Customer service is beyond awful and trying to get ahold of anyone on the phone is nearly impossible. The lack of competency and straight carelessness is beyond infuriating. They clearly DO NOT CARE about you as a customer. Save yourself the trouble and do not purchase from them.

Zero should be an option. This is the cheapest and most poorly manufactured furniture you will ever spend money on and they have poor customer service. Do not waste your time, enegery, or hard earned money. Save up and go someplace else. We regret spending all our money in there everyday we sit on teh one side of our couch since we cant sit on our broken chaise ( see photo).
Do not purchase furniture from this particular store. They are eager to help you when you come into the store to purchase furniture, but as soon as they have your money, they really do not care about you. I purchased furniture from them back in January 2021 and was told that the furniture would be delivered by the end of March due to the pandemic, March came and went, still no furniture. I had to call them to ask about the furniture, each time I called it was one lie after another. They kept switching the dates back. Finally when it was time for me to be able to get my full refund, the furniture magically appeared and it was ready for delivery, minus one item. So they delivered my furniture, only for it to be damaged. I called the store and spoke with two different people, the first guy I spoke with, act as if he was ready to get off and didn’t really care that my furniture was damaged. He was no helped at all. Then I called the next day, spoke with another person, Alaine, I think that’s how to spell her name, she was very nasty and rude. She acted as if she didn’t care at all about me being upset about my furniture being damaged. I guess being that it wasn’t her furniture, she could care less. When I asked to speak with the manager, she lied and said the manager was not there and said his name was Robert. I asked when would the manager be back in she said Friday. I’m not sure if she gave me the correct manager name but I will be sure to reach back out to them on Friday to see. The only question I asked if they could come and pick up the damaged item, she said that it would be $150.00 charged fee for them to pick up something they damaged, then she got real nasty real quick. I asked for the corporate number and thanked her and ended the call. Unacceptable! I was not going to go back with someone who lacks customer service skills. I will never purchase anything else from this Ashley Furniture store.
My husband and I have been shopping for furniture for the past 5 months, trying to find the ones we really liked at a great deal. We went to pretty much all of the big furniture stores in the area, Havertys, La-Z-Boy, Marlo, Regency, Value City, etc... only to find ourselves disappointed or pressured to buy something. The staff members at this Ashley furniture store are SUPER friendly and helpful, and no one pressured us to make a decision right there and then. This made us WANT to buy something. We purchased a sectionals sofa, a cocktail table, and a bench, and the staff helped us get a great discount. We stayed a little after store closing time to complete our purchase, and everyone remained helpful and kind until the end. Although we need to wait 8-12 weeks to get my furniture, which I will update my review again when we receive our items, we are very satisfied with the overall experience so far! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who wants to buy the furniture they like at a great deal.
I went to this store and we bought some on sale recliners in October 2020. Was crazy, but figured because of the pandemic, we didn’t receive them until about end of December/early July. Their service at the store was fine, but every time I’ve called in to the store, I’ve been kinda unimpressed. Once I was put on hold, waiting for someone to pick up, and when they picked up, they didn’t say a word, then just hung up on me. It is now May 2021 and I need to deal with a warranty I have on the chairs and I have called 4 times and the phone just keeps ringing. I spoke to someone once that asked me to hold and never got back to me. I was on hold for so long that I was told to leave a voicemail or call back later by an automated message. I understand customer service is a difficult and thankless job, but consistently this store is downright terrible when you call in to speak to someone.
There was a matter that I needed to solve pertaining to the mattress that I bought. The person that I spoke with name is Shane his custermer service was impeccable, It's very refreshing.
Now that's how customer service is done professionally above and beyond.
Ashley Furniture in Catonsville is horrible, do not spend your money there. I ordered furniture 10/25/2020 and as of 03/29/2021 I still had not receive the furniture. They don't communicate with you at all. I had to keep calling because the date keep changing. The store manager Victor is a poor excuse of a manager not empathy or compassion shown what so ever but proceeded to tell me he us waiting for furniture too. I ended up canceling the order, called what was suppose to be the corporate office I spoke to Chris on 03/29/21 he stated that he was emailing his manager and the district manager would get back to me and if I didn't hear back by 4pm on 03/31/21 to call back. I called and spoke to a young lady I belive her name was Taneka (I am not too sure but I know her name began with T). She proceeded to tell me that a manager not going to call me back because the order was canceled and I would not be getting any type of compensation. I never asked for any compensation.

I purchased a sectional from Ashley in Catonsville a little over 2 months ago and paid in full. I was told that it would be delivered within 4-8 weeks. I understand that places are experiencing delivery delays due to COVID, however, it would be an honest business practice if the salespeople were transparent about that. This enables the consumer to make a better informed decision as to whether they want to wait for extended delivery, or shop elsewhere for faster service. I spent alot of money for my sectional and it did not arrive after 9 weeks. So, I called about the delay and was told very casually that I would have to wait another 10 weeks! Now I am left with an empty room with no seating, the store has my money, I have to wait an additional 2 1/2 months without furniture, and I was told that I would have to pay a percentage of my purchase if I cancel my order! It is not fair for Ashley Homestore to benefit from the increase in revenue from sales and delay delivery of products from 5-6 months or more without letting the customer know this up front. Moreover, the store manager with whom I spoke was very condesending and dismissive. She told me, &"Well, I have your initials on the back of your receipt. You only have a copy without the signature. You agreed to up to 12 weeks, so turn your receipt over and look!&" While it is fine that I agreed via my initials to a maximum of 12 weeks, I was told 8 weeks, which is printed on the front of my receipt. I just wonder how many others have experienced this sort of &"bait and switch&" treatment. I would not have issue had they been truthful at the time of purchase, or even called to inform me that there would be an extended delay. I would have planned accordingly. However, they did not and I feel deceived and disrespected. I just want what I paid for and the timeframe to be honored. I understand that situation beyond anyone&'s control sometimes happen. However, in this regard, the store is selling lots of furniture, taking the customers money, profiting from that, and leaving the customer hanging for months on end with no guarantee of delivery date. They have profits. I have no return on my investment! This is unfair to the consumer! I deserve to have my furniture delivered as soon as possible, as well as an apology for the disregard of my patronage and disrespect.

My husband and I were looking for a comfy couch and went to Ashley Furniture. The selection was wonderful and the prices were great-it helped that we went during a sale. I was very impressed with our sales person, Jim Craumer. He let us look around without any pressure and was able to answer all of our questions. It was such a pleasure shopping because Jim helped without pushing us into an expensive model. I normally do not like talking with sales people because for the high pressure and their need to make a sale. Jim Craumer was not like that at all. Thanks for the wonderful experience and we can't wait to get the couch!!!

Big beautiful store, nicely laid out so you can walk through and enjoy your shopping experience. I will say though that this is one of the less impressive Ashley Furniture Stores I have been to. The furniture stock looks like nothing new had been brought in for quite a while. We visited in August 2020 and was super disappointed. I don't know if it's the Pandemic that has affected this store so badly, but they are badly in need of a refresh. They need new stock. I also didn't find what I was looking for so there's that. Good natural light coming in the front of the store though. And fairly decent pieces of furniture albeit dated.

Delightful experience! Went in looking for a couch, had a very helpful (but not pushy) salesman named Timothy who could not have been nicer. Helped explain our options and financing and answered all of our many questions. We got exactly what we wanted for exactly what we were hoping to pay. Great experience, strongly recommend!
Finding the component that needed replacing was not at all difficult. The lady at Ashley Home repair parts is knowlegeable and kind. However, the part has to be ordered and paid for in person on site at the Ashley furniture store. Not only that, the part cannot be delivered to my residence, but to the Ashley store where I again have to go to pick it up even after having paid a high delivery price to the store. I order many items on line that have relatively low delivery fees or none at all and the items are delivered to my home. The above is why so many stars are deducted as I rate the Ashley Home Furniture's less than great replacement furniture parts service.

This has to be hands down one of the worst business I have ever dealth with. I repeat DO NOT buy anything from here!!! I ordered bedroom furniture in January and I have yet to receive them. 2 weeks ago they brought the furniture with parts missing and said they would order it. 1 week later I called them to get update and said they had never placed the order and they were doing it now. Another week passes by and they send the wrong order. I&'m still waiting and have yet to get my bedroom furniture. I can&'t even express the anger I&'m feeling dealing back and forth with them. Man I wish I had read the reviews first. Please do not buy anything from there!!! Worst customer service ever!!
I have never had such an AMAZING shopping experience! I was shopping for a mattress and boxspring for my wife who was about to have a procedure. The sales agent, Jordan was very knowledgeable about the product, and modeled for us how we could have the best possible solution for our sleep needs. We left with an affordable option that will allow for my wife to recover comfortably. Aqsa, when checking me out, realized that my warrant had printed erroneously, and that instead of 5 years, I was guaranteed 10. Thank you so much Ashley Furniture!

I'd have to say it wasn't a very enjoyable experience. I felt very rushed the whole time which was very frustrating considering the amount of money I was spending. I was literally chasing him around the store to get to the registers. It was almost as if he was trying to push me out the door so he could make his next sale. I had to tell him to slow down so I could process everything. That to me is extremely unprofessional.This will be the last time I go to Ashley. I will be sure to pass on my experience to friends and family to not use that store or company.
Derin Belanger was our sales associate in the Columbia, Maryland store, and HE WAS SO AWESOME!!! He didn't sell us, he guided us and was real, open and honest. He made sure we were comfortable with our purchase. He didn't force us or try to convince us to make a purchase we were not comfortable with at all. He became like a friend. We have done business with Ashley Furniture for many years. We always buy the protection plan that is offered. The few times we have filed a claim in the past were absolutely no problem. Now they use a company called GBS and they are a scam. We contacted the BBC about them not covering rips and tears in fabric furniture. They said the rips or tears are &"thread separation&" and they do NOT cover that. Their response to the BBB was a LIE! They stated that they were eager to resolve our problem. When we called them back to work toward a resolution , they said the claim was still denied and they had no intention of resolving our issue. They lied to us, the public who reads the reviews on the BBB and to the BBB. I also contacted ASHLEY FURNITURE about the company with whom they chose to do business and did not receive a response. Needless to say, we will no longer do business with them. Read the reviews on GBS before wasting your money. They deny almost every claim submitted to them according to reviewers. Ashley Furniture really needs to rethink who they choose to provided the protection plan.
After recently moving to Maryland, I visited the Columbia, MD store in search of a Sleeper Sofa. After visiting multiple furniture stores, I have to say that the quality of help that I received from Kevin Caffrey (I believe that’s how you spell it) was top notch. I for one hate shopping and he was able to make the experience absolutely painless for me. Kevin was very knowledgeable of the merchandise and was able to help me find the perfect furniture for my bachelor pad. Also I have to say the customer service rep, Angelina, who handled the financing part for me was great. She was very articulate in explaining the financing process and made me comfortable with the decision that I made. Overall the experience was terrific and I look forward to making future purchases at this location...
I went for new living room furniture and had several stores to visit. Ashley was my first stop. I had a little problem with a salesperson. I was disappointed. I had money to spend and I came to buy. I was going to leave until someone else offered to assist me. I give 5 stars because I didn't have to go anywhere else. I was satisfied when I left.
I ordered complete bedroom sets for 2 kids, 2 sofas and an additional dresser. I was told the furniture will come in 2-4 weeks. It has been 8 weeks. I was not notified of the delay until I called to find out what was going on. I then had to pay additional money to borrow mattresses for my children until their furniture comes in. I am still waiting on the furniture I ordered and paid for !
I bought sofa with chase from Ashley furniture. Ask them for 100% lather and paid $4000. I had 5 year warranty also. After 3 years lather got pilled off from different areas, I contact them and i have been advised only stain covered by warranty, not lather pilled off. I felt so helpless and my sofa is look like $200 sofas now.. I strongly suggest make sure you got quality product from somewhere else. not from ASHLEY. DISAPPOINTED !!!!!
Extremely unhappy with our experience regarding delivery of our couch. We were told it would take 2-6 weeks to receive it. Ordered sectional Nov 13th, called a few days later by a woman in the store saying estimated delivery was Dec 12th. That date came and went and we heard nothing. We called and they said it would potentially be the next week. Heard from no one again and we called again on the 23rd. A woman said Jan 10th !! Which is 9 weeks since we ordered! Will not support this business again!
This business should be defined by its broken promises, horrible communication, and terrible customer service. I would not recommend to anyone in my professional or personal networks. BROKEN PROMISES. Save yourself. It is only now that I&'ve read these reviews and it appears that I could have saved myself the headache by heeding the warning of other people here. I purchased my furniture from here on November 17th. They said it would be 2-6 weeks to fulfill my order (but they usually get it done with 4 weeks). That was a long time for me but I fully expected to have my new set by December 28th at the latest.HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION. A few weeks went by and I had not received an update. I had to call them to get an update. On the call, they told me that they attempted to call me in November 24th. This was a lie I entertained, and asked them why they didn&'t leave a message if they called me. They lied and said they were unable to leave a message. This was also a lie because I check/delete my voicemails religiously. I definitely would have preferred that they were honest and say I slipped through the cracks. At any rate, they told me on this day that&'s order would be in December 26. That was within the timeframe so I was not upset at the date. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. December 26TH came and went. I had to call them again. They said my scheduled delivery date was the December 31st. Unacceptable because it was not within the time frame. The next day they called me back and said they could finally schedule my delivery -YAY! No. They said my new delivery date was January 6th. This whole thing could not have gone worst. When I spoke to the phone operator, she was very dismissive. When I asked to speak to the manager, she said that the manager stepped out and would not speak to me. I asked her how there was a store open with no one managing it. Miraculously, she found the &"manager&" who said her name was Nimra. Nimra said that the quoted delivery date was between 2-6 weeks but they have an extra 2 weeks to actually deliver the products to me. Um, says who? I would NOT have ordered the products if I knew that they would take 2 months to be delivered. I asked to be refunded and Nimra said that I would be charged a 10% cancellation fee. I do not plan on paying for a company&'s mistakes and frankly, their dishonesty. I hoped I would not have to resort to negatively reviewing someone&'s business, but I really do wish I would have been warned about their practices. Perhaps is Nimra and Sherri (who was apparently out of town with a family emergency ) would have made themselves available to me and made an effort to fix the issue, I would not have had to resort to such measures. Oh well, it&'s the readers luck. My headache will hopefully save you from the same misfortune.
Purchased sofa on November 19 and was told 2-6 weeks for delivery. On December 3, they called to tell us they would deliver on December 27. We were SO excited to get our new sectional in time to laze around on it after Christmas. We&'ve never bought such a big sofa before and it was the best holiday gift to ourselves EVER! So, rearranged holiday visits, work schedules, parental duties and old furniture to get ready for our new sofa. I just got off the phone with the store to see what time and they quickly told me that was only estimated and we are now scheduled for Janiary 12. First of all, I&'m having a super hard time believing you and, second, why are you making us wait 8 weeks without so much as calling? Booooooooooo Ashley. Happy holidays to you, too. Geez.
Do not buy your furniture from here. I went to Ashley home furniture store to make a big purchase on a couch that I want to keep for years. I invested over 2000 on a sectional couch . I purchased an extensive warranty which covers any incidentals that is good for 5 years after my manufacture warranty which is good for one year I’ve had my couch for a total of 4 months and for the past two months I have been going back and forth with their third party Maintenance service that is supposed to repair your couch this third-party service is only available on Fridays and one Saturday a month and can’t give you a timeframe of when they’ll be in your home until supposedly the day before two times I’ve had an appointment scheduled for the maintenance man to come look at the couch the first time they didn’t call me the day before and set up a time frame the second timeThe maintenance me and lied and said he had been to my house call my phone five times and knocked on my door numerous times I was home all day long this is not true once I Scheduled a third appointment to have the couch looked at And took off work again the maintenance man let me know that this was a manufacture defect and he would not be able to fix the couch the couch would have to be replaced then called back by Ashley furniture she wanted to set up a date to come pick up my couch to rebuild the inside. So not only did the maintenance man inform me that this is a manufacture defect ashley will not provide me with A new portion of my sectional after all the money I’ve spent headache I’ve went through with the third-party service department the lies I dealt with when the sales rep told me the couch he told me if anything was ever wrong with it they were fully replace any portion that didn’t meet company standards also that if I called my extended warranty Provider that I would be provided a free cleaning kit for my couch that also is not true please do not fall for the Maroge that their sales people try to sell you I would never do business with Ashley furniture again and unfortunately I’ll have a broken $2000 couch in my home for an extended period of time Because I trusted the name Ashley furniture
Update: was called by Ashley Furniture and was told they will replace it. Considering shopping at Ashley Homestore? Consider this: I bought a bedroom set for daughter. After 3 weeks the box spring broke. Despite being under a one year manufacturer&'s warranty and despite purchasing an extended warranty, the &"customer service&" department refused to replace it. Way to stand by your product!

Walked into the store on Black Friday 2019, I could've counted on one hand how many customers were in the store, I got in walked around and no one greeted me, when I was ready for some assistance to purchase my chair, I had to go looking for an employee, one lady just looked at me, and the others at the table was debating who's up next, the guy who got me didn't even mentioned his name or any kind of information, I was asking all the questions. he only gave me a card after I brought that sofa. the customer service in that store was very bad and Ashley needs to address this.
Went to several stores and Ashley had the best selection of what we were looking for. Good prices and service. Jordan and Enshika were fantastic help.

Customer Service was non existent. My girlfriend, two year old daughter and myself entered Ashley furniture and was not greeted or asked if we could be helped. Their were several people at the entrance. A woman came in directly after my family and I and she was greeted immediately. They asked her if there was anything she needed help with and so on. My family and proceeded to walk the whole store and still nobody came to ask if we needed help. One lady spoke barely but did not offer any assistance. We then finally went to the desk and spoke to a gentleman who appeared to be in charge and it wasn’t only until then when a Representative came over and offered assistance. When I told him nobody offered assistance the representative proceeded to tell me first that the lady has cancer and is a little slow these days and then proceeded to tell me the other women were managers and can’t assist anyone. These were the same women who offered assistance to the woman who came in directly behind me. We got approved for the dining room set online or we would not continued to do business. The service was awful.

Salesman Jordan Qassim greeted my daughter and I at the door as though we were special guest. He was extremely attentive but not overzealous. We were invited to try out as many couches as it would take until I found just the right one. I am very pleased with my selection. I only hope that it will fit well In my family room, smile. I became so excited that I forgot to take the measurements of this particular sofa and chaise. I recently relocated to Maryland from Northern California. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to move my favorite couch that I had purchased from Ashley HomeStore there. It was my plan to search for site once I got settled in. The sales people are really nice to work with. However the front office staff are rude and condescending. For some odd reason my phone number was not listed correctly and they were not able to reach me. It resulted in our delivery being delayed by more than 45 days. When we finally went to the store after being on the phone multiple times them they said when you sign you should have verified everything was correct. She was very insistent that it was my fault. May be I need glasses but they could have intimated me via post/email .

We bought living room furniture and a coffee table 2 months ago, sales people are nice but when you are buying furniture from them make sure their return or exchange policy, even on a future order return as they charge 10% restocking fees on the things they even don’t have in stock, it’s a franchise not a Ashley owned store, so be careful while making your final decision, also look around for some other furniture buying options. Make sure check delivery of your furniture before the driver leaves, delivery service is not responsible for any damages/marks, you forgot to check hence keep the damage furniture. Very tricky store policies, I hope that’s helps other people while making decision.
I had really good experience with store and employees. First of all the good thing about the store is they work to make us happy ! They are not typical salesmen! Bedroom set came, yet the most important parts -the bed supports are missing! how great is that? And they are saying they are out of stock. I just don't get how it works? Called the store, of course, they don't have any information about it. Called the warehouse, same- no info. Who supposed to know the answers? They would have let me know that the most important parts of the bed are still out of stock, but instead they decided to sent the set without those parts. Now the bed set is here, yet I cannot use it. And most importantly, nobody is telling me when I will be receiving them. On top of that, the drawers on dressers are not sliding right. One corner sticking out and the other is not.

I had an extraordinary experience today shopping for a formal , but new style complete dining room set. I’ve been shopping for about a month and I found myself attracted to the new platinum look. They are plentiful in most large furniture discount stores, but I found them to be overpriced and of poor quality. I’m an older lady and used to fine furniture I walked into ASHLEY today and was met by a very pleasant Tim Boyd. I told him what I wanted. We walked around, and with his helped I spotted my dream dining room set in about 15 mins., plus it was on-sale for 1/2 price. Timothy made me very comforts and offered pricing which I was not aware of. A beautiful set of very good quality. We ventured on to the business desk to complete the transaction, where I met Ahisah, who was also very polite and professional. The whole process took about 45 minutes. An A-plus for both of them and a Definite 5 Stars to Ashley Furniture

Horrible customer service, horrible, low quality furnitures, we bought complete sofa and love seat, within a year, middle seat broke, even though we had extended warranty and paid additional $150:00 for repair, they are still giving us run arounds, refusing to repair or give us another sofa which they said they would if they couldn't repair the sofa, contacted customer service-said it would take a week for us to talk to a manager, What? Beware people!
Came during the Labor Day sales, and had a relatively pleasant experience in the store. The associate who helped us was really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and did his best to meet our needs. When we decided we'd hold off and come back another day, the associate told us if we would just make the purchase he'd give us a special discount, a price we couldn't get anywhere else. Afterwards, I realized the prices we paid were actually much higher than the ones online on the Ashley's website. They also delayed the delivery of the furniture by several weeks after I was guaranteed by the associate that it would arrive within a certain timeframe. A little disappointed, but not a super bad experience overall.
Pushy know it all Salesman and bashed my President who is doing an awesome job at MAGA!!! We'd made the deal and when writing up the order and paying going over invoice he left out the main unit in which the purchase was for, the Chest and then got smart saying "he told us what we were getting," in which he did not and he blew the entire $2,000.00 purchase and the deal was CANCELLED right then and there because of his know it all sarcastic attitude and money was refunded. We got a much better deal at REGENCY FURNITURE much less than the $2000.00 and it INCLUDED the Chest Drawer AND DELIVERY AND SET UP. Got a blessing in disguise.

The sales Associate Cameron and the Customer Service Representative Louise were very attentive and professional and the purchasing process was a pleasant experience. The furniture was received and set up as scheduled. The quality of the furniture (Flynnter Queen Panel Bed) is below satisfactory. The inner (owner-facing) side of the footboard is roughly finished (similar to the way the back of furniture is usually finished), constituting a very unpleasant look and feel for the bed owner/user. The transversal mattress-supporting boards are unfinished, with splinters coming out all along them. Happy with the service, unhappy with furniture quality.

Do not go to this store, they are complete scam artists. Ordered furniture and when they sent the wrong thing doing a bare and switch they charged us 400.00 to do a restocking fee and would not allow us to send it back when it was delivered. They are complete thieves! They steal money from their customers plain and simple!

This was our first time here to purchase furniture for our new home. Jordan Qassim was our sales associate and he was awesome! He let us know that he was fairly new, and was very honest about what he knew and what he didn't know. He's very personable and genuine. My fiancé and I recently purchased a house and were looking to furnish the entire house. We originally went to another furniture store and had a NIGHTMARE experience. We decided to check out Ashley’s Furniture in Catonsville and it was the best decision! When we walked in lovely Aneika greeted us right away! She was very helpful and let us pursue the showroom until we were ready to make a decision. We got a great deal on a Sofa & Loveseat! Aneika & Aqsa were great to work with - they were both very helpful and informative! Let me preface this by saying that I have had an amazing experience with Ashley Furniture Homestore in a different state in the past (Lexington, KY). I could not be happier with my purchase of an entire living room and bedroom suits and two bookshelves. The Catonsville location, however, was an entirely different experience. I purchased a bed and mattress on 6/1 and was initially told that it would be available on 6/12. After that date passed, I was informed that they were "waiting on the mattress" and that the new expected date was 6/17. When I did not receive a call on the 17th, I called the store. Customer service there was completely unhelpful, and I received no information beyond "we are still waiting on the mattress." The new expected date was then moved to 6/19. Again, no call on the proposed new date. When I called the store again, I was greeted by the same unhelpful customer service representative, only to be told about the lack of a mattress. My wife then called, while I was at work, to file a complaint and see if she could get any additional information. The very same unhelpful customer service person was rude and hung up on her. When she called back to speak to a manager, she was told the manager would return her call, only he never did. On 6/21, I personally went into the store and spoke with one of the managers, TJ. He at least feigned interest and attempted to be helpful. Though I still got no explanation why the mattress was missing for so long, he tried to find another one and add it to my ticket, stating it would "be in the warehouse on 6/28." I asked for a scheduled delivery date on 7/13. Within the preceding two days, I did not receive an automated call for a 2-hour window as I had been expecting. I called the store yet again, and the very same customer service person answered, only to ask "who told you delivery was scheduled? You must be mistaken." When I explained I had spoken with TJ and that he was supposed to schedule delivery, she said "well, we're still waiting on the mattress." I was placed on hold again and was disconnected. At this point, I gave up and went with a different furniture company. I was able to purchase and receive the items within 1 week, where Catonsville Ashley Furniture failed in 6 weeks. The sheer ineptitude and lack of compassion/consideration of their customer service is mind-boggling. Truly, the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. To this day I still have no idea what happened. After canceling my order and demanding a refund, I received a call from their corporate customer service, stating the "mattress ETA is tomorrow (7/19), and that my director will comp you $400 if you're interested." So, let me get this straight. You're willing to discount $400 off of a $2200 mattress that has been delayed 6 weeks? It would be egregiously insulting if it weren't so comical. I would give this even less stars if possible. You are better off going some place else.

Do NOT waste your time....Its poor quality furniture and a sales staff with horrible ethics. I am sad to say I purchased several items here and am disappointed with all of them. Especially the Caroline dresser...It is not even a year old and all the silver is peeling off. I reached out to customer service and they told me the peeling is not covered and its just the laquer on the dresser. After several attempts at speaking to a manager that could help me and the customer service reps told me there is no one there I can speak to.The sales manager just point blank said.."there is nothing he can do". I spent almost $10,000 that day and as soon as I walked out the door and they got their commision .. It was the attitude of ..."oh well". Its very disappointing my daughter is out a dresser and Im out all this money! Every single purchase I made that day has some sort of problem!! AND check your receipt !!!! The salesman tried to tack a extra $350 on at the end like I was confused on the price!! Buyer beware at this location o
The entire company had terrible customer service — the couch I purchased has metal sticking out (this is the 2nd time with the same couch) & cut me, my husband, and baby since the metal was sticking out ankle level. Every person I’ve spoke with has had a short attitude - I even sent picture in of the cuts & a woman named Jackie with their local corporate office got nasty & tried to accuse us of lying. Your furniture is faulty & at this point (with metal STILL STICKING OUT OF MY COUCH) we are speaking with a bodily-injury attorney if this isn’t resolved.

I want to be clear that TJ Mose from the Catonsville store is getting this 5 star review. My rating in no way reflects my overall experience. If I could give my entire experience a negative star review, I would. I purchased a couch and chair from this location. My purchase experience was great. The store honored the online pricing and delivered the furniture the same week. From there it went downhill. The chair was delivered broken and missing the back cushion and the accent pillow. For customer service issues you are forced to deal with Regency, which is nothing short of a nightmare. After going several rounds with Regency for 2 weeks with no acceptable solutions to the issue, I went back to the Ashley Store where I met TJ. It took him about a week, with emails and phone calls to several layers of management, but he was able to get a new, complete chair delivered to my home. Without his help, I'm certain I would still be in the nightmare that is Regency customer service. It's unfortunate that even with TJ's exceptional service, it has tainted me when it comes to future furniture purchases. I will not purchase from Ashley or any other furniture store that contracts with Regency for the customer service side of their business. It just isn't worth it. Thank you again, TJ for providing exceptional customer service. Your counterparts at Regency could learn a thing or two from you.

I purchased a couch on June 9 from the Ashley Homestore in Catonsville. As part of that purchase agreement, they have a price matching policy that provides price matching if the same piece of furniture is discounted within 14 days of purchase. After approaching the company (both in store and their ownership), they said the policy does not apply after the couch is delivered. The couch was delivered before we found the lower price, which was 12 days after purchase. No where does it say delivery causes the 14 day window to prematurely close. I've also heard that online pricing is not included, which the policy also does not say. The management was almost impossible to get a hold of as they hung up several times and I kept hearing they were busy on the floor. Even after showing up, I had to wait 45 minutes before the manager, Masse, returned from his trip to the bank. He then told me he had no authority to refund money even though he wished he could and that only the district manager could do that, but he couldn't provide the district manager's contact information. While I like the couch I received, their customer service has been about the worst I have ever encountered, and they have lost more from me in potential business then this refund would have cost them.

My girlfriend and myself visited the store hoping to look for items to help furnish our new place. The sales person, Monique, didn't bother us unnecessarily and asked us if we needed anything only a few times as we entered different parts of the store. It was really nice not to harassed during our visit. When we made a decision on the product that we wanted, Monique was very knowledgeable on the products that we asked about. When it was time for us to make our purchases, Lousie was very polite and provided us with the information that we needed to know and checked us out promptly. I hope that we receive the same treatment when we visit again.

It was a great experience buying from Ashley @ catonsville store. Timothy helped us choose the items and Anshika helped us with the billing. I would say both deserve a full star rating.
I spent a lot of time swinging by all different furniture stores in route 40. Ashley was definitely one of the worst places. They sneakly added a protection plan + shipping fee and some other bs adding +$400 to the price which they did not mention at all. Thank God I looked over the shoulder of the employee when he was about to swipe my credit card. I ended up getting the EXACT same sofas at Regency for a lot less + free shipping and 5 year warranty.
This is our second trip to the store and both times we have had excellent service. Waleed helped us find the perfect couch set to fit our strange shaped living room and Anshika was super friendly and helpful checking us out. We come here first when looking for furniture that is reasonably priced.

OK, while I don't want to be followed around a furniture store, this was the total opposite where I had to hunt down a salesperson. Even after I found one, he wasn't all that interested in helping me. They're in quite a competition with the furniture store right up the street, so open to price and delivery bargaining.
Upon arrival, Eddie E greeted us at the door and informed us of the current promotions. We perused the furniture for a while and Eddie helped us find the perfect peice to meet our needs. It was a great experience and I was thoroughly impressed with his product knowledge. Thanks for the help Eddie!
Walked in looking for couches and a dining room set. And even though we didn't get anything the experience was a good one. Mr. Dante Wahl( if I spelled your last name wrong I apologise), was great. He assisted us with fabric selections, knew about the products, and whatever he didn't know about he made sure to make it a point to find out. Always was very positive. We wanted to shop around before making a decision but if we do decide to go Ashley it will be there and with Dante. Appreciate the level of customer service and will recommend to my troops here at fort Meade.

Don&'t do it. Their stuff is cheap and the delivery ordeal (Regency furniture- a separate company and a huge pain to deal with) was a nightmare. We got a three seat couch, and because it&'s technically sections, you can see through a crack in the middle. It&'s also partical board, not hardwood.
I had a great experience shopping at Ashley Catonsville Store. As soon as I entered the store Waleed, salesperson greeted me and introduced himself. He showed great patience in assisting me with two items I purchased. Rani, customer service explained the financing terms and its length. They were both professional. I enjoyed my experience in working with them.
Tad confused as you can haggle on prices at this store? The prices are at least 50% higher than online ashley pricing. It is very strange. Wait time for furniture is very long as well. Buy offline imo.
These are the most dishonest people I have worked with in all my years buying furniture. They blatantly lie about prices, raising them so high and then giving you fake discounts. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before ever walking into their store as clearly this is an everyday practice.Here is my experience in summary. We walked into Ashley last week interested in a couch - they had a 50% off sale going and we worked with Dontae (Tim). He claimed since we were their last customers of the night, they would work us up an extra special deal. After giving us the &"deal&" we let them know we would have to get our measurements and return the next day to purchase. They agreed to hold the price for us. When I researched the couch further when I get home, the 50% price given was 20% above the online price. I was quoted ~$6,000 given a 50% plus a 20% that brought the couch down to ~$2100 for a couch that was listed at ~$1800 online. I went in the next day to confront them and they claimed they were not aware that the product was way cheaper online than it is in store. They are all brilliant actors over here by the way. After a few minutes of Sam the Sales manager looking &"stressed&" about corporate not communicating true prices to them, he matched the online price. I paid for the couch and was promised a call within 4 days to set up delivery. It&'s been 6 days and they have not called. I called the store and they stated they will deliver sometime in the next couple weeks. Not sure why I had to call for this update. I now await my couch and will update the review after delivery.

We purchased a couch yesterday from Ashley Furniture in Catonsville and had a very good experience. Dante Waul was the salesman and he was excellent. He was very attentive and worked hard to help us any way he could. We needed a smaller than typical couch and he went all over the store with a tape measure and returned to us with the options. He was not pushy at all but he was obviously eager to please. He helped us consider the best buy for us and the specific needs we had. The store was having us a sale and we were very pleased with the price and quality of the the couch we finally chose. When we asked about delivery, Dante sought and returned to us with exact details about the delivery dates and procedures since it was a floor model. Then while chatting he learned that we were also going to be looking for a new mattress for a second home we had in Virginia. He found out for us that Ashley could deliver one for us there that we picked out in Catonsville, MD. He spent a lot of time with us to test the wide range of mattresses to help us select the best one for us. He made our experience actually enjoyable, which doesn't happen often in furniture stores. We'd also like to than Aisha for her pleasant help in finalizing the sale and paperwork.

RE: Dante Waul - on Friday, April 26, 2019, my husband asked me to stop past Ashley furniture to look at some new furniture for our home. We need furniture for our dining room, living room, theater room and basement. I was greeted by Dante WAUL. Initially I was taken aback I am an older person and I don’t usually expect respect and courtesy when being greeted in most retail establishments. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Dante’s demeanor and respect for my space. He introduced himself and told me about the promotions and sales the store presently had going on. He allowed me to look around without following or overwhelming me. I was impressed with his product knowledge when it came to the mattresses in your bedding department. He took his time and explained in great detail all that I needed to know about products that I am interested in. I am extremely grateful for the amount of time and genuine concern. Dante allowed me space and time to shop without being pressured. I was already angry when I came into the store, as I had just left another furniture store only a block away where the salesman followed every step that I made and he continually asked me if I had any questions. I was so annoyed I didn’t want to bother stopping in your store but I did anyway. I’m very glad that I did! Dante really knows how to connect with his customers. I worked for a major, international retailer as a Business manager for many years and we were taught that the most successful employee has a relationship with their guests; from remembering a guest name, to showing them a new accessory to go with a piece they may have recently purchased! I want it to be known that I don’t write reviews as rarely do I find a retailer where the sales reps are knowledgeable, respectful and courteous. Also that same day, I have gone to another retailer and the sales associate kept referring to me as “Honey”! I am old enough to have been this person’s grandmother. When I find a great business, with exceptional employees, like Dante, I am eager to share my experiences with purveyors like yours with family, friends and acquaintances. I know that no one has to be nice to me kind, respectful of time and space it makes it very easy and comfortable to stop by your establishment and want to shop. Dante gets a 10 out of 10! He is definitely a great attribute to your business. I have taken pictures of everything that I want to purchase from your store and shared them with my husband. Ashley furniture I will never buy from them again. I found this nice sofa online. Februrary I received my tax money and decide to buy the sofa. I had just moved in my apartment and thought this sofa would be nice. They called me to set up the date in march for April delivery. So I thought everything was all set. April 1st I all sudden got an email saying that my furniture been cancel. I called up and I talked to customer service. And they said the reason why it was cancel because they try to get the money from my card without success. That is bullshit. Because when I place the order February I had more then enough to purchase this furniture. I am so very upset! I will never buy a piece of furniture from Ashley. I rather take my business to Bob's or Bernie & Phyll. I have never had this problem with any furniture store. Especially when I use my debit card the money leave the bank the same day. What they told me was an absolute lied.

So you wont be able to clean them up or remove your food stains after each meal and they will stay there for ever!! So I called them and ask to send someone over to fix it because I believed it is manufacturer's defect! but despite the first day that they are so welcoming (cuz they want to sell their products to you right?) no one responded to my emails or pay attention to my request. However, they convinced me to buy insurance as well!!! You can see how this table looks like after just 3 weeks of use!

I was lied to, but this review will never see the light of day because they protect their own. Massi told me he would get me a mattress, whatever it took. He and Lee both said they would call Paula and they had ways of working it out, pulling from other orders, other store inventory, etc. Lies, all of it! Very disappointed in their complete lack of professionalism. Massi is a LIAR and Lee is a LIAR! SHAME ON BOTH OF THEM.

My husband and I went to Ashley’s to purchase a living room set. JR is a great salesman, he was patient while we decided what we wanted, and his experience made our purchase smooth and quick. He is such a friendly person, and we even learned a little about him. We will go back to Ashley’s in the near future for more furniture purchases and will ask for JR. We will also tell our family and friends to ask for him as well.

Went in and was greeted by Lee. Lee is a good salesman, he knows a lot about the furniture that they sell. The prices in the store are on the high side, but this is not cheaply made stuff. If you want furniture that will last this is the place to go
I have no plans to return. After being greeted at the door and politely stating I&'d look around and letting him know if help was needed he kept hounding me. Strike two is their furniture is a step up from bottom quality like JC Penny sells. Look at the fiber board and thin plywood stapled on the backs of furniture. In some pieces they fixed loose backs with screws.
I'd been looking for a quality sleeper sofa for a while and Eddie Elahi helped me find a great one. Very professional and he made sure I got what I wanted.
I purchased a dining room set on February 21, 2019. My salesperson Zawar, and he was great. I went in the store, told him what i was looking for and in less than 30 minutes he pointed out exactly what I was looking for. I went during their 50% off sale on everything, and that was a plus. This isn't my first time shopping at Ashley Furniture Homestore, I have purchased my living room and bedroom sets, very satisfied. I only gave 4 stars because I don't like the 2 - 6 week delivery time frame. Other than that people were friendly and I had a great salesperson.

I did not purchase anything from this store. I was interested in buying a couch, sectional, or chaise sectional. I visited the store on two separate occasions. Each time I was never greeted at any point while in the store nor was I asked if I needed any assistance. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the 1st time (although not deserved). I assumed things would be different on my 2nd trip. There are mostly white employees at this location. I am African American. On this visit, one of their employees came down the aisle. There was my mom & I and a white couple close by browsing. He literally ignored us and went right over to the white couple. You draw your conclusion. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture (at least this location) unless things change with the customer service.

They are deluding customers with sale price. For the bed set, the total price of $1200. When you add the individual item price, the total was $1400. They advertise $300 off the the set. I have expected $1200 - $300 = $900. But they calculated $1400 - $300 = $1100. They are cheating customers. Be careful for what you are buying!!

Very bad experience. The district manager was not honest and the price is not honest. We were sold some furniture for prices more than they advertised. When we discovered this we went back to the store to ask refund. But they did not refund us but only removed the tags from the furniture. Dishonest and we will not recommend anyone to purchase there.

Just purchased my sleeper sofa with the help of Lee Fox and manager Massey. As soon as I️ walked in, I️ was greeted by sales rep Lee whom, without any added pressure, made me feel welcomed and attended to. He provided me with the latest sales information and allowed me to stroll around on my own. I️ told him what I️ was looking for, he listened intently, and pointed me in the right direction without any tactics to upsell me. I️ ended up choosing my sofa and got it with a great deal thanks to manager Massey. This is my second large purchase from this location and I️ will return again.

Worse experience of my life, they don't take any responsibility after delivering damaged items. And when you call them to inform about the damaged items , they misbehave on the phone. The web is full of their bad customer service and poor quality of products. If you really want to buy Ashley, then buy online so you at least get some good customer service and price is always better on the Ashley website.

After all this when I went back to store to talk with manager, he told me same story that we are working on it but don’t know when will it resolve. He told his wrong name to everybody. What type of manager of a store use fake name? Be careful they have very very bad customer service on the top of bad quality. I am not the only one who has an issue with their furniture and customer service. Read reviews about them on other platforms before to buy anything from them.

I purchased a floor sample model recliner on Jan. 20 on Jan 26 sat down and reclined the chair and it broke. probably only sat in it 4 times I contacted the store and was told they couldn't do anything for me because it was a floor model. I talked to 2 different people at customer service and was told the same thing. This is the last I will make a purchase from them. 500 dollars for a recliner to last one week and absolutley no help I absolutely could not believe that

If I was able to rate negative stars I would. The WORST place to shop! After a "no show" for the first delivery appointment they came 2 weeks later with only half of what I ordered. . . and it was damaged in 2 places and had a repair from previous damage. Not worth the time to buy inferior furniture and get horrible customer service! NEVER AGAIN!

Route 40 in Catonsville has many furniture stores. Be sure to give this one a look. Good furniture, varying qualities, but prices are very good. The floor is laid out so that you can visualize the living and dining room items that will work together, for an open floor layout. Lots of accessories on display.
