To give this store this rating is far too generous. My experience with this company in general has been a nightmare. Between the lack of communication/ product knowledge, poor customer service and just out right lying, I'm surprised they sell any merchandise at all. Apparently good customer service and honesty is something that is nonexistent. And I will NEVER!!! purchase anything else from this location or any other again.

First of all , i love my new sleeper sofa ., . The guys who delivered my sofa told me , they were not allowed to take the sleeper up stairs in my den . I was absolutely not happy to hear that . I was aware they could not put it together, but they can put the sofa in any room of my choice . They just left my sofa in my hallway . I love your store . I need a new bedroom set . if , they are not allowed to take your furniture up stairs I have to look somewhere else.

I would not recommend this store. We are very disappointed in their level of customer service. From not being truthful about not having a table in stock when we ordered it with other items, misrepresenting when the table would be delivered (we were given several different delivery dates), and including when we finally cancelled the order after finding out that the table was discontinued. We had to travel back to the store to cancel adding more inconvenience to an already frustrating situation. Compounding the unbelievable lack of customer support is we were told the refund check would take 10 business days at the store, it’s approximately 1 month with no check ( we paid cash for the whole order I must add) so after calling customer support, we were told we were given incorrect information and it would take in additional week or so, for the refund. Unbelievable. Stay away from this store!

I was very disappointed with Ashley. Purchased a Chest for my son. Was charged a certain price. Next day same chest was marked down $100.00. Spoke with Manager said could not adjust price and credit the difference.because had gone through, told him any ither company would certainly have given me the sale price. Therefore, i will not shop ag Ashley’s again . His reasoning was not accurate. Of course he could have credited my Visa. Actually, that is a very poor practice of Ashley’s.

I forgot the name of the gentle man with middle eastern ascent who attended to me, he went above and beyond and should be given the opportunity to train other sales representatives on how to deal with customers. I love the couch that I received, but the customer service was horrible! The way they make you pay for your furniture in the store could really use a procedural refresh. The general manager of the store talked with me and gave me an exact price for three pieces of furniture, he then charged my credit card and I paid the full amount confidently, knowing that the general manager knew what he was doing. He then charged my credit card and I paid the full amount, confidently assuming that the general manager knew what he was doing. However, then an itemized receipt was created and I briefly looked, saw the accurate total amount and theee items. I should have fully examined this receipt (that was created AFTER I already paid) because it only listed two of the pieces I wanted and the third thing on the receipt was the furniture protection plan. I realized this error the day before delivery. When I called to take care of it a sales person at the store told me that I would most likely get the third piece sent to me at no cost, but that the manager would call me. The manager never called back and he never called back a second time when I tried again I had to go to the store to speak to the manager in person. He would not acknowledge the error and gave me basically a $25 discount which was nothing. I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone who can help me. This is ridiculous! They should not have clients pay for items after a verbal quote , they should look at a printed out itemized paper just like all the other furniture stores give you before you pay. In addition to that, their manager doesn’t call you back and their sales people give you false information and tell you you will most likely have your problem taken care of at no cost. It’s such a headache!

Sana is great! Edit 9/23/2024: Takes very long time to deliver. It’s been over 5 weeks, we still haven’t received our sofa chaise. Also no tracking or update of order unlike Bob’s, they have tracking updates. Called customer service twice, they said arrival date to warehouse is September last week, and now called again delivery pushed back to October. Also, the one who selled us, Sana, “gave” us a “discounted price” because there’s a “sale”. From $1299 to $950ish, thought we had a good deal but went home and check the website for that same product and the price on the website is the same as the “discounted”. So basically we can typically order it online and get a cheaper price without fooling us that she gave a big discount in-store.

If I could.give a zero at this point I would. After spending 2 hours in store and deciding on a mattress, my fiance and I were quoted a price by one of the MANAGERS. After getting approved for a credit card to finalize the sale, the manager "received a call" with an issue. We were then told that the call received informed the manager that he couldn't give us the quoted price of $1000 because it wouldn't profit the store. Instead he had to charge me $1600 for our mattress. And there was, of course nothing he could do. So now I have a credit card for no reason that can't be closed without impacting my credit and no mattress. It's a real shame because both the manager and the person he was training seemed nice and easy to work with. I was sorely mistaken. I left the store quickly because I was so upset and felt very taken advantage of.
Sana was probably one of the best guides i’ve met, me and my mother have been looking for a couch for almost 8 months and we found the perfect one with her help! We love the couch and appreciate everyone’s help!!
I ordered my table six weeks ago, and I was told I would receive it within two to six weeks. After six weeks had passed, I called to check on the status, only to be informed that the table had been discontinued. They offered to find a different table that matched the chairs I had ordered. I requested a refund, but they insisted on speaking to the manager to see if they could locate the original table elsewhere. After waiting an hour without a response, I called back and was told it would take another three weeks to get it. This whole experience has been a complete joke—I'm extremely disappointed.

Don't buy from this Ashley furniture. If you do, don't bother with the warranty. They won't actually cover it even though they say they will. Your order will be delayed. They never answer their phone or return calls. The furniture is JUNK. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra on quality furniture. Whatever you buy from here will fall apart long before your 5 year warranty is up and then they won't cover it anyway.

I purchased a sleeper Sofa through these guys that fell apart in 3 months, and this store then failed to honor the insurance/warrantee i purchased through them, then this location's manager threatened me and told me never to contact them again or else, I've never had a worse customer experience nor have I had a store manager physically threaten me like this before only to have their corporate customer service do nothing!!!!!!

I’ve been looking in the market for a leather couch with power reclining. All I saw was way too expensive or too big. I happened to find one (Warnerton) that was perfect and moderately price and was able to take advantage of the sale they were having that weekend. The sales people were patience with me accommodating and friendly. I have gone to this location in the past and will use them again for other future furnishings.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is by far the WORSE Ashley’s I ever came across. They are very unprofessional and rude after they get your money. They made a mistake with delivering me the wrong color furniture that I paid $1300 for. They don’t take accountability for their wrong doing and try to blame everything on you. I ordered a tan couch from the showroom floor and they delivered a grey couch that wasn’t even on the showroom floor for display. how do you mess that up? It was THEIR mistake. so November 15th I was due for someone to come to my house to pick up the wrong grey furniture (love seat and couch)and deliver the tan couch that I purchased. The driver did not give me time to meet him and get my furniture taken away, before he pulled off I called him and he tells me oh I already left call and reschedule and pay another $150 fee. So I called the store in cantonville to address the issue and they never have an answer they talk in circles and always say let me have my manager call you back and they never call back. So I called corporate to address the issue and the manager at corporate was just as nasty and rude. All I wanted was the color couch that I paid for. I even was willing to pay again the reschedule fee just to get this couch out out my house and get the couch I originally picked out . The manager said she closed my ticket and was not sending me another driver and how it’s an even exchange and the couch is mines now. They don’t even work with you or care that you’re a paying customer. So now I’m stuck with a grey couch that wasn’t what I originally picked from the showroom floor at the store. They are evil and karma will hit them. Stay away from this store and beware if you want to be tricked and scammed out of your hard owned money. This Ashley is ghetto. Go where people have class and dignity with them.

**BEWARE** If you're even considering buying furniture from this store, I strongly suggest reading this review and checking out the Better Business Bureau website reviews. I made the mistake of buying a sofa bed on November 6th, which arrived at my home today- a full month later on December 6th. But that's not even the worst part. The item delivered was the wrong piece of furniture! I called the store immediately and spoke to the manager (Will). He promised to call me back at noon to check if they had the couch in stock. However, he never did. Upon calling back, I was informed that he had already left for the day. The best is yet to come. When I explained the situation to Aleena Khan, the customer service representative, she blamed me. She explained that it was my fault that the order got messed up because I did not clearly articulate to the sales associate (Ana Rivera) that we wanted the sofa bed option. What??? "Of course I did. However, she was not even willing to consider the idea that THEY made the mistake. Now, I am stuck with a 30% "restocking fee" and no couch. For reference, the sofa bed couch cost $824, and they made a $250 mistake (30% of the cost) that I am paying for. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS FURNITURE STORE!!!!!

Trying to shop on the website, and failing. I've chosen 7 different items to look at as a result of my search with filters, and every one of them is out of stock. There is no option to not search for out of stock items, so I've just wasted my time. Do better with your website. I'll shop elsewhere - someplace that actually has things in stock.

We purchased $3673 of furniture at Ashley’s Aug 25. The salesman Thaer promised us we would have it delivered by sept 15. We purchased this based on this delivery “promise” due to needing it for a special occasion on Sept 23. We asked to cancel it since we have not received it yet and they said it’s 30% of sale to cancel the order. We are extremely disappointed. The salesman was so assuring we would have it. I feel he totally lied to get the sale. We expressed how important it was to get it before the 23rd and they did not fulfill their promise. Very unresponsive as well.

Very disappointed in our purchase here. Bought a king size mattress and frame here. Their brand mattress. After being repeatedly upsold by the sales people we managed to convince them to look in our budget. Memory foam, felt fine for the 10 minutes or so we laid on it in the store. More than once we were assured by the sales associate and service people that we could return the mattress after 30 days for a full refund. I took off work for the delivery day. The truck no showed. I got no curtesy call or anything. Just a day of vacation burned. Rescheduled for a Saturday and it got delivered. We slept on the mattress for about 2-3 weeks and found that there was a great deal of sinking sagging into the mattress. Whoever is lighter (we are not especially large people) ends up on a slant towards the smaller person- this is a king size mattress. This mattress is not firm enough for us. I called the store to ask about refunds or exchanges. I was told at first that that shouldn't be a problem. Then when the customer service person got in contact with the regional manager suddenly this mattress wasn't covered for refunds or exchanges. He said we had 3 days to figure out if we wanted it not 30 days. How is it possible to figure out if a mattress is going to work for you in 3 days? We were guaranteed our money back before 30 days. It felt extremely scammish. All we could get was our delivery fee back for the missed delivery, and a $50 dollar (that's right you see it) discount on our purchase. Ive never dealt with such a shady company before. Buyers beware. I would have been happy to return this mattress for full price and use that towards a different mattress in store. Over all 0/5 starts. Only buy name brand there because this company will straight lie to you and steal your money while telling you there's nothing they can do about it and cant honor the return policy we were clearly told.

My experience was very well processed the guy i spoke with , matt really nice guy very patient because we did look through alot and he went the extra mile and took several different measurements for several different choices to makes sure we were sure and satisfied.
I had a great experience at Ashley's Furniture Bryan was the associate who helped us, he was accommodating proficient and knowledgeable and we ended up making a purchase due to his great advice and assistance.
If you could leave zero stars, I would. Tayyad came over to see what he could help with but was not actually wanting to help. The service we were given could only be compared to the sleeziest used car salesperson you could imagine. I don't know if he thought that there wouldn't be a big enough commission for him because of our ages or what. He was not interested in answering any questions or offering suggestions. We left as quickly as we could and went to Columbia where William was very pleasant to work with and didn't make us feel that we were an inconvenience. I suggest if you need anything, DO NOT GO HERE but to Ashley in Columbia instead. It will be a much better experience.
Kudos to our salesperson “Matt” who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. I would recommend Matt for all your Ashley furniture needs. Our living room set arrived in less time than anticipated. Everything was delivered in perfect condition. Set up was quick and efficient. Very happy with our purchase!
Ashley furniture is the WORST furniture buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We spent nearly 8K on furniture in Nov. of 2022. Putting aside the fact that it took 3 months for our furniture to arrive, when it finally arrived on Feb. 8, 2023. I noticed a manufactures sticker on one of our couches. I peeled it off and there was a huge hole in the couch. I approached the driver who was still in our home, and asked him if he would take that piece of our sectional back and he said that would not be necessary as it would leave our couch missing a piece and instead he would take pictures, which he did, report it and that Ashley’s would be in touch with a replacement piece. Fast forward to later that day, we called our local store let them know what had happened and they explained they could not do anything at the store level but could email the service center. They asked us to email them with photos which we did immediately. After 48 hours we had not heard back so we called again, the store told us they had not heard back and advised they can’t call the service center and only communicate via email. They advised we call the service center. We then called they service center and again explained our story and we’re asked to send photos, which we did. Since that day Feb. 8th we have been on the phone daily with the store and the service center with zero resolution and no responses to our complaints or the fact that we had a couch delivered with a whole. We spent $8K at this store and it offers ZERO customer service, no communication, no managers to speak with and worst of all damaged furniture. What an incredible disappointment for such a large company that claims to produce excellent furniture. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Because if you ever run into an issue you will get no help from your local store and they have no corporate office to assist. An absolute nightmare. We are still stuck with a coach that has a huge hole in it and zero assistance from The store, customer care or anyone on Facebook.
My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture on Saturday February 18, 2023. The Gentleman named Will assisted us and it was a professional and friendly experience. Will was very detailed oriented, and helped us through the entire process. We got a very nice sofa set. We appreciate Will. He then directed us to Pamela at the desk, and she was welcoming, informative, and cordial. Pamela was professional, as well as kind. Thanks Ashley Furniture. You did good.

I purchased there in 2017. The sales person was great. But she didn't stay long and was in sales for some time based on our conversation. Well I paid for one of those furniture demage coverage, it I didn't use it I would get my credit back. We'll must be the fine fine print that it can only be used in the store. No one line purchases or as I was told you just lose your money after 30 days. Now I don't need another lamp or a picture. And items that I found are truly over priced at Ashley can get them at big box store for much cheaper. So never get the so call protection plan even if i had to use it they don't make my furniture anymore. A real rip off and horrible customer service. They could even give me the name if the CEO and clueless on district manger. So I found a face book space were peaple are sharing horror stories. Stopped in the store yesterday to look for a living room set. The salesperson who came up to me, as well as someone identified as the manager, were unable to answer simple questions about furniture dimensions and what models were on the floor for me to look at. Turns out, this store is not part of Ashley corporate but independently owned. Did not buy here and went down the road and purchased from Gavigan's.

Nate greeted me at the door with a friendly smile. The piece I originally loved could not fit my space so, he offered an alternative that was absolutely perfect! Not to mention more affordable for me. Great experience! I will definitely be back in the future. Five years ago, I wrote this store off and vowed to never come Back because of the salesperson attitude! Today Nate changed that!!

So, I was looking for furniture for my new apartment and decided to stop by Ashely's. A sales rep named Jay helped me out. I found everything I needed and was provided exceptional customer service... definitely would shop there again.
Went in nervous, but needing to furnish my new apartment. Nate Was my sales man and he was very attentive and helped me match all the items for my bedroom and living room. Unfortunately they were not able to help me so I went to price busters instead and got everything I needed and more. Everything came in less than a week where as Ashley’s said I would have had to wait 14 weeks.
I love this location the nice young lady Tatyana I think that’s her name. She really helped us with deciding . She was patient with us and very friendly:) wish more sales associates were like that . Can’t wait to receive our new furniture. So thanks to the young lady Tatyana were so excited.
I purchased Furniture on Nov 18th and was told at the time of purchase that all items were in stock. The receipt stated 8 to 12 weeks, which I understood given the current COVID delivery times. Upon the end of 12 weeks I went back to the store which I still had not received the items purchased. I noticed on the website the items were now at a sale price 300 dollars less, and I was told by store associates that per the policy I wouldn't be able to receive the discounted price. The store associates then proceeded to show me my order which had a couch of a totally different color than what I ordered. After being argumentative the sales person I dealt with was able to rectify that I was correct. The store associates were argumentative and not accommodating. I will never shop here ever again they have horrible customer service 😒 I got a refund for the couch and I'm still waiting on bed and dining table.
I went to this shop for “just lookin”. But the crew over there were very helpful and nice, and I end up buying. Hayel the tall guy over there was very helpful and understanding. While I was there on of the ladies who work there found a baby fox in the parking lot. She took it to the vet because it was injured. I think her name is Tatyana.Such a great lady. I ordered my furniture and was told it would take 6-12 weeks . I checked every few weeks on when it will be delivered they kept changing the date and told me if it would be after my delivery date they will offer me good compensation. I got my delivery yesterday after 5 months and when i called for compensation they told me we gave you a big discount when you ordered so we cant offer anything. they lied to me for 20 weeks they never planned to offer anything. terrible customer service .

If you want your furniture in about six months, then shop at this store… If you want it any sooner, then don’t try to shop here. They’ll tell you an estimated delivery date, provide no updates, and if you call to inquire they just tell you “next month....next month” every time. Complete ridiculousness.
The online purchase process went pretty well. The only issue I have is when I went to the store to see the product before purchasing it online. The salesman wasn't very helpful in getting a power cord for the recliner. He actually said there wasn't one available. I was about to leave the store before I decided to use the cord from another recliner. My plan was to buy the chair at the store but after that experience, I decided to buy it online. I didn't want that store or salesman to get credit for my purchase. Also that salesman and his manager told me the sales price ended that day, however the following day it was still on sale and a price drop of $37.
New update ! We are now at 14 weeks since ordering I was told 2 weeks ago it will be in end of November beginning of December …. Of course I call back and some how now it’s end of December beginning of January ….. guy on the phone says you should probably cancel your order …. So I’ve waited 14 weeks received 3 different times it will come in yet nothing yet and no offer for compensation or anything. The worst part about it I know 2 others who have ordered the same couch from a different location and received they’re orders already this is crazy. I placed an order 10 weeks ago I was told it would take 8-12 weeks. The salesman told me even though it’s saying that it will be sooner I can assure you that. when I called a month ago they said it’s coming in next week. I decided to call again and get an update and now they are saying another 3 weeks . This is past the 12 week window with a lot of run around and no help this is ridiculous. I asked for compensation they said only after delivery can we do that ? How does that make sense they took my money gave me a ton of run around and aren’t even offering to compensate me. The sales representative Ola was very nice and helpful. However, outside of that, working with Ashley Furniture has been a complete NIGHTMARE! My husband and I attempted to make a simple return a few days after a purchase and they kept giving us the run around about getting someone to pick up our return. They kept promising to return our calls but never did and we had to keep calling them for updates. None of the staff ever remembered the status of our issue each time that we called. Ultimately, we were promised a refund to our account since they can’t seem to accept our return, but when we called again we were informed that we’re getting a store gift card that has yet to arrive. We will never be shopping with them again so we definitely have no need for the gift card..
DO NOT SHOP AT THE CATONSVILLE STORE. I have been since June trying to get my furniture. It wasn’t until I persisted for a status that I had to finally cancel the order and get my money back. At first they told me they would have to charge me a 10% restocking fee on furniture they never could produce. Then I was told that I was outside of the timeline and they would not charge me. Then the credit card I used I had to be canceled due to fraudulent charges I no longer have. And first I was told by a representative they would take the information confirming that from the bank over the phone. Then I was told in this age of Covid I have to get a letter signed by the bank indicating I got a new card. I asked for a check and they do not reimburse by check. Wish me luck. I asked myself so long as I get my money back why is it important to Ashley Furniture for me to prove I got a new card. Take your business somewhere else or if you decide to do business with them prepare yourself

Never ever go to Ashley store, these people and their customer service is pathetic, I placed my order in June and they asked me to pay full amount in order to receive the furniture in 8 to 12 weeks, and it was a BIG BIG BIG lie, they never delivered my furniture, it's been 5 months and my house is still empty.. They never called me to inform about this inconvenience and never gave me any satisfied customer service. So I went to the store to talk to the manager and as usual the Manger never showed up, and they just gave me my money back after 5 months. So disappointed!!

Don't even waste your time here. We bought a complete living room set in the beginning of June 2021. It's still not here. The first time I called in August, they said it would be here on the 31st. Then, I called Sept. 1, and they said it would be here on the 14th. No explanations, no information, nothing, and bordering on rude when they said they had a paper I had initialed that said 16 weeks for delivery, and I asked them if I had initialed it, then why didn't I have a copy of said paper, cos all my paperwork says 12 weeks? No response :-P 16 weeks later, I decide to call the store and ask for a refund. No answer. I try half an hour later, and let it ring for 2 minutes. No answer. This is during normal business hours around 10-12. I get frustrated and call customer service (And Ashley furniture doesn't make it easy to FIND that main number...just sayin'.) and I spoke to a great CSR named Taylor in Brandywine, who was able to give me information about my order, and when the last few pieces were expected in, and the dates of upcoming shipments of the missing pieces in my order. The Catonsville store has access to that information. Why couldn't they do that when I asked? Because I spoke to her, I decided not to cancel the order, and Catonsville is lucky in that regard. But not setting foot in THAT store again.

The worst store on the planet!!!!!! It appears that they outsource their deliveries to a "third party vendor". The issue is that this vendors doesn't meet the same professional that I received when I purchased my bedroom set . The furniture was purchased 0n 18 Aug.2021 . Now on the date that the delivery was shipped, I noted that the driver parked on the business property two doors away a never made an attempted to check to see the address where he was. My guess we are a business , and because it was a bedroom set the driver was probably confused. But the driver should had confirmed the location but instead they leave while I'm attempting to yell and wave to get there attention and just leave without delivering my furniture. Now I have to wait for a later date to get my shipment. No to mention, "Don't Ask for a refund, they will threaten keep 30% of your money. they even proposed charging me another delivery charge!!!! How about that for customer service. I found out that the driver side no one answered upon their arrival, Well I guess not if you are at the wrong place. Oh by the way my address is clearly marked on the mailbox, the drive stated he took a picture of the door so he could prove the delivery was made . Again they should have payed some attention to me yelling and waving at them. In closing, their third party delivery company should keep close to the professional standards of both Regency/ Ashely

One of the more impressive furniture stores within the Catonsville area. The customer service was great, I went in looking for a new couch and Ms.Aleena was able to accommodate all of our wishes and we left the store happy.

My initial visit went fairly well. The second visit to finalize the sale was not good at all. The sales lady whose name is Hope, was suppose to meet me there to complete the sale (it was her day off and I was willing to reschedule but she was adamant on meeting me that Wednesday) but she never showed up. She never called to cancel the appointment nor did she attempt to notify me that she could not make it. She did not call the store to see if I showed up, which I did, and I waited almost an hour for her to show before I left. I ended up going to Ashley's in Columbia where I was greeted by a terrific salesman whose name is Eric and he assisted me with my new purchase and all is well. Just waiting on the arrival of my new merchandise. Thank you Eric for a job well done and, excellent customer service.
Update: Went back after my vacation to get my refund and was charged STILL charged the $89 delivery fee despite then not delivering the couch I purchased. In addition to $288 "restocking fee" for the couch I WANTED. I would not recommend this store. Fine in store purchasing experience. Everything after was awful. Purchased my couch in March 2021. It was set to be delivered on June 23, 2021. When my time window was confirmed I had the couch I'd been using moved out. The couch did come during the time window on the 23rd. When it arrived, The delivery people measured the door frames and the exterior of the packaging of the couch and shook their head and would not bring it in. It was a loveseat, I was told by my sales rep at Gavigan's Furniture up the street, that any loveseat should be able to get through a 29-inch door because you can turn it to its side and turn it different angles. I was trying to explain this to the delivery people but they did not speak English. They took the couch and left. I spoke to Ashley about it they were trying to come up with replacements but nothing panned out. They said I had to come into the office to get a refund. I left my house at 7:00 p.m. because I was extremely busy to go get a refund and they said they could not issue me a refund for 72 hours, and at that time I would have to come in. I am going on vacation. So basically at the end of the day I spent $1,400 in March, I currently have no couch, I also don't have a refund, and I have to be inconvenienced further after my vacation in order to get my money back. I went up the street and got a couch 10 minutes after leaving the store that was in stock and can be delivered in 12 days. I would never purchase anything from Ashley furniture again. Very unaccommodating, not helpful at all, terrible experience.
I really had a bad experience with them first of all I order a coffee table it was supposed to deliver in 4- 6 week but it took them 3 to 4 month still not delivered then finally I went to their store and chose one of the sample in the floor bc I wasn’t getting the one that I order bc their excuse that it is out of stock now. Why they couldn’t tell me when I ordered it??? They have very poor service . So the sample I chose the person deliberately scratched it while delivering. My experience is really bad. This is my last time purchasing anything from them.
I was on the search for a couch and stopped here. They had a decent selection. Hope was my sales advisor and helped me on my search. Hope was very helpful and showed me pieces within my budget. I did notice that other sales advisors were sitting at desks and when you walked by none of them would even look up and smile or say hi. We purchased items from them back in early March -- still no furniture, we've been told lie after lie and keep getting "delayed" -- Customer service is beyond awful and trying to get ahold of anyone on the phone is nearly impossible. The lack of competency and straight carelessness is beyond infuriating. They clearly DO NOT CARE about you as a customer. Save yourself the trouble and do not purchase from them.

Zero should be an option. This is the cheapest and most poorly manufactured furniture you will ever spend money on and they have poor customer service. Do not waste your time, enegery, or hard earned money. Save up and go someplace else. We regret spending all our money in there everyday we sit on teh one side of our couch since we cant sit on our broken chaise ( see photo).
Do not purchase furniture from this particular store. They are eager to help you when you come into the store to purchase furniture, but as soon as they have your money, they really do not care about you. I purchased furniture from them back in January 2021 and was told that the furniture would be delivered by the end of March due to the pandemic, March came and went, still no furniture. I had to call them to ask about the furniture, each time I called it was one lie after another. They kept switching the dates back. Finally when it was time for me to be able to get my full refund, the furniture magically appeared and it was ready for delivery, minus one item. So they delivered my furniture, only for it to be damaged. I called the store and spoke with two different people, the first guy I spoke with, act as if he was ready to get off and didn’t really care that my furniture was damaged. He was no helped at all. Then I called the next day, spoke with another person, Alaine, I think that’s how to spell her name, she was very nasty and rude. She acted as if she didn’t care at all about me being upset about my furniture being damaged. I guess being that it wasn’t her furniture, she could care less. When I asked to speak with the manager, she lied and said the manager was not there and said his name was Robert. I asked when would the manager be back in she said Friday. I’m not sure if she gave me the correct manager name but I will be sure to reach back out to them on Friday to see. The only question I asked if they could come and pick up the damaged item, she said that it would be $150.00 charged fee for them to pick up something they damaged, then she got real nasty real quick. I asked for the corporate number and thanked her and ended the call. Unacceptable! I was not going to go back with someone who lacks customer service skills. I will never purchase anything else from this Ashley Furniture store.
My husband and I have been shopping for furniture for the past 5 months, trying to find the ones we really liked at a great deal. We went to pretty much all of the big furniture stores in the area, Havertys, La-Z-Boy, Marlo, Regency, Value City, etc... only to find ourselves disappointed or pressured to buy something. The staff members at this Ashley furniture store are SUPER friendly and helpful, and no one pressured us to make a decision right there and then. This made us WANT to buy something. We purchased a sectionals sofa, a cocktail table, and a bench, and the staff helped us get a great discount. We stayed a little after store closing time to complete our purchase, and everyone remained helpful and kind until the end. Although we need to wait 8-12 weeks to get my furniture, which I will update my review again when we receive our items, we are very satisfied with the overall experience so far! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who wants to buy the furniture they like at a great deal.
I went to this store and we bought some on sale recliners in October 2020. Was crazy, but figured because of the pandemic, we didn’t receive them until about end of December/early July. Their service at the store was fine, but every time I’ve called in to the store, I’ve been kinda unimpressed. Once I was put on hold, waiting for someone to pick up, and when they picked up, they didn’t say a word, then just hung up on me. It is now May 2021 and I need to deal with a warranty I have on the chairs and I have called 4 times and the phone just keeps ringing. I spoke to someone once that asked me to hold and never got back to me. I was on hold for so long that I was told to leave a voicemail or call back later by an automated message. I understand customer service is a difficult and thankless job, but consistently this store is downright terrible when you call in to speak to someone.
There was a matter that I needed to solve pertaining to the mattress that I bought. The person that I spoke with name is Shane his custermer service was impeccable, It's very refreshing.
Now that's how customer service is done professionally above and beyond.
Ashley Furniture in Catonsville is horrible, do not spend your money there. I ordered furniture 10/25/2020 and as of 03/29/2021 I still had not receive the furniture. They don't communicate with you at all. I had to keep calling because the date keep changing. The store manager Victor is a poor excuse of a manager not empathy or compassion shown what so ever but proceeded to tell me he us waiting for furniture too. I ended up canceling the order, called what was suppose to be the corporate office I spoke to Chris on 03/29/21 he stated that he was emailing his manager and the district manager would get back to me and if I didn't hear back by 4pm on 03/31/21 to call back. I called and spoke to a young lady I belive her name was Taneka (I am not too sure but I know her name began with T). She proceeded to tell me that a manager not going to call me back because the order was canceled and I would not be getting any type of compensation. I never asked for any compensation.

This is the worst company to deal with i have spent over 5k with them back in September and im still waiting on my kitchen set every time they tell me a day i call them and they say it got extended for another week please go send your money somewhere else that will probably give you better customer service and not be rude like the managers and will probably get you furniture in time not just give excuses about covic.

My husband and I were looking for a comfy couch and went to Ashley Furniture. The selection was wonderful and the prices were great-it helped that we went during a sale. I was very impressed with our sales person, Jim Craumer. He let us look around without any pressure and was able to answer all of our questions. It was such a pleasure shopping because Jim helped without pushing us into an expensive model. I normally do not like talking with sales people because for the high pressure and their need to make a sale. Jim Craumer was not like that at all. Thanks for the wonderful experience and we can't wait to get the couch!!!

Big beautiful store, nicely laid out so you can walk through and enjoy your shopping experience. I will say though that this is one of the less impressive Ashley Furniture Stores I have been to. The furniture stock looks like nothing new had been brought in for quite a while. We visited in August 2020 and was super disappointed. I don't know if it's the Pandemic that has affected this store so badly, but they are badly in need of a refresh. They need new stock. I also didn't find what I was looking for so there's that. Good natural light coming in the front of the store though. And fairly decent pieces of furniture albeit dated.

Finding the component that needed replacing was not at all difficult. The lady at Ashley Home repair parts is knowlegeable and kind. However, the part has to be ordered and paid for in person on site at the Ashley furniture store. Not only that, the part cannot be delivered to my residence, but to the Ashley store where I again have to go to pick it up even after having paid a high delivery price to the store. I order many items on line that have relatively low delivery fees or none at all and the items are delivered to my home. The above is why so many stars are deducted as I rate the Ashley Home Furniture's less than great replacement furniture parts service.

I have never had such an AMAZING shopping experience! I was shopping for a mattress and boxspring for my wife who was about to have a procedure. The sales agent, Jordan was very knowledgeable about the product, and modeled for us how we could have the best possible solution for our sleep needs. We left with an affordable option that will allow for my wife to recover comfortably. I'd have to say it wasn't a very enjoyable experience. I felt very rushed the whole time which was very frustrating considering the amount of money I was spending. I was literally chasing him around the store to get to the registers. It was almost as if he was trying to push me out the door so he could make his next sale. I had to tell him to slow down so I could process everything. That to me is extremely unprofessional.This will be the last time I go to Ashley. I will be sure to pass on my experience to friends and family to not use that store or company.
Derin Belanger was our sales associate in the Columbia, Maryland store, and HE WAS SO AWESOME!!! He didn't sell us, he guided us and was real, open and honest. He made sure we were comfortable with our purchase. He didn't force us or try to convince us to make a purchase we were not comfortable with at all. He became like a friend. After recently moving to Maryland, I visited the Columbia, MD store in search of a Sleeper Sofa. After visiting multiple furniture stores, I have to say that the quality of help that I received from Kevin Caffrey (I believe that’s how you spell it) was top notch. I for one hate shopping and he was able to make the experience absolutely painless for me. Kevin was very knowledgeable of the merchandise and was able to help me find the perfect furniture for my bachelor pad. Also I have to say the customer service rep, Angelina, who handled the financing part for me was great. She was very articulate in explaining the financing process and made me comfortable with the decision that I made. Overall the experience was terrific and I look forward to making future purchases at this location...
I went for new living room furniture and had several stores to visit. Ashley was my first stop. I had a little problem with a salesperson. I was disappointed. I had money to spend and I came to buy. I was going to leave until someone else offered to assist me. I give 5 stars because I didn't have to go anywhere else. I was satisfied when I left.
I ordered complete bedroom sets for 2 kids, 2 sofas and an additional dresser. I was told the furniture will come in 2-4 weeks. It has been 8 weeks. I was not notified of the delay until I called to find out what was going on. I then had to pay additional money to borrow mattresses for my children until their furniture comes in. I am still waiting on the furniture I ordered and paid for !
I bought sofa with chase from Ashley furniture. Ask them for 100% lather and paid $4000. I had 5 year warranty also. After 3 years lather got pilled off from different areas, I contact them and i have been advised only stain covered by warranty, not lather pilled off. I felt so helpless and my sofa is look like $200 sofas now.. I strongly suggest make sure you got quality product from somewhere else. not from ASHLEY. DISAPPOINTED !!!!!
Extremely unhappy with our experience regarding delivery of our couch. We were told it would take 2-6 weeks to receive it. Ordered sectional Nov 13th, called a few days later by a woman in the store saying estimated delivery was Dec 12th. That date came and went and we heard nothing. We called and they said it would potentially be the next week. Heard from no one again and we called again on the 23rd. A woman said Jan 10th !! Which is 9 weeks since we ordered! Will not support this business again!
Do not buy your furniture from here. I went to Ashley home furniture store to make a big purchase on a couch that I want to keep for years. I invested over 2000 on a sectional couch . I purchased an extensive warranty which covers any incidentals that is good for 5 years after my manufacture warranty which is good for one year I’ve had my couch for a total of 4 months and for the past two months I have been going back and forth with their third party Maintenance service that is supposed to repair your couch this third-party service is only available on Fridays and one Saturday a month and can’t give you a timeframe of when they’ll be in your home until supposedly the day before two times I’ve had an appointment scheduled for the maintenance man to come look at the couch the first time they didn’t call me the day before and set up a time frame the second timeThe maintenance me and lied and said he had been to my house call my phone five times and knocked on my door numerous times I was home all day long this is not true once I Scheduled a third appointment to have the couch looked at And took off work again the maintenance man let me know that this was a manufacture defect and he would not be able to fix the couch the couch would have to be replaced then called back by Ashley furniture she wanted to set up a date to come pick up my couch to rebuild the inside. So not only did the maintenance man inform me that this is a manufacture defect ashley will not provide me with A new portion of my sectional after all the money I’ve spent headache I’ve went through with the third-party service department the lies I dealt with when the sales rep told me the couch he told me if anything was ever wrong with it they were fully replace any portion that didn’t meet company standards also that if I called my extended warranty Provider that I would be provided a free cleaning kit for my couch that also is not true please do not fall for the Maroge that their sales people try to sell you I would never do business with Ashley furniture again and unfortunately I’ll have a broken $2000 couch in my home for an extended period of time Because I trusted the name Ashley furniture

I just visited the Ashley store on Baltimore National Pike. I asked about a Bar High Set. The salesman said they didn’t make these sets and walked away. Leaving me standing there, not knowing if I might be interested in anything else. As I made my way to the door, he said maybe I should go to Regency. I am still shocked at his dismissive demeanor. Walked into the store on Black Friday 2019, I could've counted on one hand how many customers were in the store, I got in walked around and no one greeted me, when I was ready for some assistance to purchase my chair, I had to go looking for an employee, one lady just looked at me, and the others at the table was debating who's up next, the guy who got me didn't even mentioned his name or any kind of information, I was asking all the questions. he only gave me a card after I brought that sofa. the customer service in that store was very bad and Ashley needs to address this.
Went to several stores and Ashley had the best selection of what we were looking for. Good prices and service. Jordan and Enshika were fantastic help.

Customer Service was non existent. My girlfriend, two year old daughter and myself entered Ashley furniture and was not greeted or asked if we could be helped. Their were several people at the entrance. A woman came in directly after my family and I and she was greeted immediately. They asked her if there was anything she needed help with and so on. My family and proceeded to walk the whole store and still nobody came to ask if we needed help. One lady spoke barely but did not offer any assistance. We then finally went to the desk and spoke to a gentleman who appeared to be in charge and it wasn’t only until then when a Representative came over and offered assistance. When I told him nobody offered assistance the representative proceeded to tell me first that the lady has cancer and is a little slow these days and then proceeded to tell me the other women were managers and can’t assist anyone. These were the same women who offered assistance to the woman who came in directly behind me. We got approved for the dining room set online or we would not continued to do business. The service was awful.

Salesman Jordan Qassim greeted my daughter and I at the door as though we were special guest. He was extremely attentive but not overzealous. We were invited to try out as many couches as it would take until I found just the right one. I am very pleased with my selection. I only hope that it will fit well In my family room, smile. I became so excited that I forgot to take the measurements of this particular sofa and chaise. I recently relocated to Maryland from Northern California. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to move my favorite couch that I had purchased from Ashley HomeStore there. It was my plan to search for site once I got settled in. The sales people are really nice to work with. However the front office staff are rude and condescending. For some odd reason my phone number was not listed correctly and they were not able to reach me. It resulted in our delivery being delayed by more than 45 days. When we finally went to the store after being on the phone multiple times them they said when you sign you should have verified everything was correct. She was very insistent that it was my fault. May be I need glasses but they could have intimated me via post/email .

We bought living room furniture and a coffee table 2 months ago, sales people are nice but when you are buying furniture from them make sure their return or exchange policy, even on a future order return as they charge 10% restocking fees on the things they even don’t have in stock, it’s a franchise not a Ashley owned store, so be careful while making your final decision, also look around for some other furniture buying options. Make sure check delivery of your furniture before the driver leaves, delivery service is not responsible for any damages/marks, you forgot to check hence keep the damage furniture. Very tricky store policies, I hope that’s helps other people while making decision.
I had really good experience with store and employees. First of all the good thing about the store is they work to make us happy ! They are not typical salesmen! Bought a bedroom set from Ashley Catonsville ( big mistake). Since it was out of stock, been waiting it to be delivered for a few weeks. Bedroom set came, yet the most important parts -the bed supports are missing! how great is that? And they are saying they are out of stock. I just don't get how it works? Called the store, of course, they don't have any information about it. Called the warehouse, same- no info. Who supposed to know the answers? They would have let me know that the most important parts of the bed are still out of stock, but instead they decided to sent the set without those parts. Now the bed set is here, yet I cannot use it. And most importantly, nobody is telling me when I will be receiving them. On top of that, the drawers on dressers are not sliding right. One corner sticking out and the other is not.

I had an extraordinary experience today shopping for a formal , but new style complete dining room set. I’ve been shopping for about a month and I found myself attracted to the new platinum look. They are plentiful in most large furniture discount stores, but I found them to be overpriced and of poor quality. I’m an older lady and used to fine furniture I walked into ASHLEY today and was met by a very pleasant Tim Boyd. I told him what I wanted. We walked around, and with his helped I spotted my dream dining room set in about 15 mins., plus it was on-sale for 1/2 price. Timothy made me very comforts and offered pricing which I was not aware of. A beautiful set of very good quality. We ventured on to the business desk to complete the transaction, where I met Ahisah, who was also very polite and professional. The whole process took about 45 minutes. An A-plus for both of them and a Definite 5 Stars to Ashley Furniture

Came during the Labor Day sales, and had a relatively pleasant experience in the store. The associate who helped us was really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and did his best to meet our needs. When we decided we'd hold off and come back another day, the associate told us if we would just make the purchase he'd give us a special discount, a price we couldn't get anywhere else. Afterwards, I realized the prices we paid were actually much higher than the ones online on the Ashley's website. They also delayed the delivery of the furniture by several weeks after I was guaranteed by the associate that it would arrive within a certain timeframe. A little disappointed, but not a super bad experience overall.
Pushy know it all Salesman and bashed my President who is doing an awesome job at MAGA!!! We'd made the deal and when writing up the order and paying going over invoice he left out the main unit in which the purchase was for, the Chest and then got smart saying "he told us what we were getting," in which he did not and he blew the entire $2,000.00 purchase and the deal was CANCELLED right then and there because of his know it all sarcastic attitude and money was refunded. We got a much better deal at REGENCY FURNITURE much less than the $2000.00 and it INCLUDED the Chest Drawer AND DELIVERY AND SET UP. Got a blessing in disguise.

The sales Associate Cameron and the Customer Service Representative Louise were very attentive and professional and the purchasing process was a pleasant experience. The furniture was received and set up as scheduled. The quality of the furniture (Flynnter Queen Panel Bed) is below satisfactory. The inner (owner-facing) side of the footboard is roughly finished (similar to the way the back of furniture is usually finished), constituting a very unpleasant look and feel for the bed owner/user. The transversal mattress-supporting boards are unfinished, with splinters coming out all along them. Happy with the service, unhappy with furniture quality.

Do not go to this store, they are complete scam artists. Ordered furniture and when they sent the wrong thing doing a bare and switch they charged us 400.00 to do a restocking fee and would not allow us to send it back when it was delivered. They are complete thieves! They steal money from their customers plain and simple!

We decided to check out Ashley’s Furniture in Catonsville and it was the best decision! When we walked in lovely Aneika greeted us right away! She was very helpful and let us pursue the showroom until we were ready to make a decision. We got a great deal on a Sofa & Loveseat! Aneika & Aqsa were great to work with - they were both very helpful and informative! If you are in the market for new furniture I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stop by Ashley’s Furniture and ask for Aneika & Aqsa!

Let me preface this by saying that I have had an amazing experience with Ashley Furniture Homestore in a different state in the past (Lexington, KY). I could not be happier with my purchase of an entire living room and bedroom suits and two bookshelves. The Catonsville location, however, was an entirely different experience. I purchased a bed and mattress on 6/1 and was initially told that it would be available on 6/12. After that date passed, I was informed that they were "waiting on the mattress" and that the new expected date was 6/17. When I did not receive a call on the 17th, I called the store. Customer service there was completely unhelpful, and I received no information beyond "we are still waiting on the mattress." The new expected date was then moved to 6/19. Again, no call on the proposed new date. When I called the store again, I was greeted by the same unhelpful customer service representative, only to be told about the lack of a mattress. My wife then called, while I was at work, to file a complaint and see if she could get any additional information. The very same unhelpful customer service person was rude and hung up on her. When she called back to speak to a manager, she was told the manager would return her call, only he never did. On 6/21, I personally went into the store and spoke with one of the managers, TJ. He at least feigned interest and attempted to be helpful. Though I still got no explanation why the mattress was missing for so long, he tried to find another one and add it to my ticket, stating it would "be in the warehouse on 6/28." I asked for a scheduled delivery date on 7/13. Within the preceding two days, I did not receive an automated call for a 2-hour window as I had been expecting. I called the store yet again, and the very same customer service person answered, only to ask "who told you delivery was scheduled? You must be mistaken." When I explained I had spoken with TJ and that he was supposed to schedule delivery, she said "well, we're still waiting on the mattress." I was placed on hold again and was disconnected. At this point, I gave up and went with a different furniture company. I was able to purchase and receive the items within 1 week, where Catonsville Ashley Furniture failed in 6 weeks. The sheer ineptitude and lack of compassion/consideration of their customer service is mind-boggling. Truly, the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. To this day I still have no idea what happened. After canceling my order and demanding a refund, I received a call from their corporate customer service, stating the "mattress ETA is tomorrow (7/19), and that my director will comp you $400 if you're interested." So, let me get this straight. You're willing to discount $400 off of a $2200 mattress that has been delayed 6 weeks? It would be egregiously insulting if it weren't so comical. I would give this even less stars if possible. You are better off going some place else.

Do NOT waste your time....Its poor quality furniture and a sales staff with horrible ethics. I am sad to say I purchased several items here and am disappointed with all of them. Especially the Caroline dresser...It is not even a year old and all the silver is peeling off. I reached out to customer service and they told me the peeling is not covered and its just the laquer on the dresser. After several attempts at speaking to a manager that could help me and the customer service reps told me there is no one there I can speak to.The sales manager just point blank said.."there is nothing he can do". I spent almost $10,000 that day and as soon as I walked out the door and they got their commision .. It was the attitude of ..."oh well". Its very disappointing my daughter is out a dresser and Im out all this money! Every single purchase I made that day has some sort of problem!! AND check your receipt !!!! The salesman tried to tack a extra $350 on at the end like I was confused on the price!! Buyer beware at this location o
The entire company had terrible customer service — the couch I purchased has metal sticking out (this is the 2nd time with the same couch) & cut me, my husband, and baby since the metal was sticking out ankle level. Every person I’ve spoke with has had a short attitude - I even sent picture in of the cuts & a woman named Jackie with their local corporate office got nasty & tried to accuse us of lying. Your furniture is faulty & at this point (with metal STILL STICKING OUT OF MY COUCH) we are speaking with a bodily-injury attorney if this isn’t resolved.

I purchased a couch on June 9 from the Ashley Homestore in Catonsville. As part of that purchase agreement, they have a price matching policy that provides price matching if the same piece of furniture is discounted within 14 days of purchase. After approaching the company (both in store and their ownership), they said the policy does not apply after the couch is delivered. The couch was delivered before we found the lower price, which was 12 days after purchase. No where does it say delivery causes the 14 day window to prematurely close. I've also heard that online pricing is not included, which the policy also does not say. The management was almost impossible to get a hold of as they hung up several times and I kept hearing they were busy on the floor. Even after showing up, I had to wait 45 minutes before the manager, Masse, returned from his trip to the bank. He then told me he had no authority to refund money even though he wished he could and that only the district manager could do that, but he couldn't provide the district manager's contact information. While I like the couch I received, their customer service has been about the worst I have ever encountered, and they have lost more from me in potential business then this refund would have cost them.

I spent a lot of time swinging by all different furniture stores in route 40. Ashley was definitely one of the worst places. They sneakly added a protection plan + shipping fee and some other bs adding +$400 to the price which they did not mention at all. Thank God I looked over the shoulder of the employee when he was about to swipe my credit card. I ended up getting the EXACT same sofas at Regency for a lot less + free shipping and 5 year warranty.
This is our second trip to the store and both times we have had excellent service. Waleed helped us find the perfect couch set to fit our strange shaped living room and Anshika was super friendly and helpful checking us out. We come here first when looking for furniture that is reasonably priced.

OK, while I don't want to be followed around a furniture store, this was the total opposite where I had to hunt down a salesperson. Even after I found one, he wasn't all that interested in helping me. They're in quite a competition with the furniture store right up the street, so open to price and delivery bargaining.
Upon arrival, Eddie E greeted us at the door and informed us of the current promotions. We perused the furniture for a while and Eddie helped us find the perfect peice to meet our needs. It was a great experience and I was thoroughly impressed with his product knowledge. Thanks for the help Eddie!
Walked in looking for couches and a dining room set. And even though we didn't get anything the experience was a good one. Mr. Dante Wahl( if I spelled your last name wrong I apologise), was great. He assisted us with fabric selections, knew about the products, and whatever he didn't know about he made sure to make it a point to find out. Always was very positive. We wanted to shop around before making a decision but if we do decide to go Ashley it will be there and with Dante. Appreciate the level of customer service and will recommend to my troops here at fort Meade.

RE: Dante Waul - on Friday, April 26, 2019, my husband asked me to stop past Ashley furniture to look at some new furniture for our home. We need furniture for our dining room, living room, theater room and basement. I was greeted by Dante WAUL. Initially I was taken aback I am an older person and I don’t usually expect respect and courtesy when being greeted in most retail establishments. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Dante’s demeanor and respect for my space. He introduced himself and told me about the promotions and sales the store presently had going on. He allowed me to look around without following or overwhelming me. I was impressed with his product knowledge when it came to the mattresses in your bedding department. He took his time and explained in great detail all that I needed to know about products that I am interested in. I am extremely grateful for the amount of time and genuine concern. Dante allowed me space and time to shop without being pressured. I was already angry when I came into the store, as I had just left another furniture store only a block away where the salesman followed every step that I made and he continually asked me if I had any questions. I was so annoyed I didn’t want to bother stopping in your store but I did anyway. I’m very glad that I did! Dante really knows how to connect with his customers. I worked for a major, international retailer as a Business manager for many years and we were taught that the most successful employee has a relationship with their guests; from remembering a guest name, to showing them a new accessory to go with a piece they may have recently purchased! I want it to be known that I don’t write reviews as rarely do I find a retailer where the sales reps are knowledgeable, respectful and courteous. Also that same day, I have gone to another retailer and the sales associate kept referring to me as “Honey”! I am old enough to have been this person’s grandmother. When I find a great business, with exceptional employees, like Dante, I am eager to share my experiences with purveyors like yours with family, friends and acquaintances. I know that no one has to be nice to me kind, respectful of time and space it makes it very easy and comfortable to stop by your establishment and want to shop. Dante gets a 10 out of 10! He is definitely a great attribute to your business. I have taken pictures of everything that I want to purchase from your store and shared them with my husband. I bought this dining table from them and after the first meal I came to know that this dining table absorbs all the stains. So you wont be able to clean them up or remove your food stains after each meal and they will stay there for ever!! So I called them and ask to send someone over to fix it because I believed it is manufacturer's defect! but despite the first day that they are so welcoming (cuz they want to sell their products to you right?) no one responded to my emails or pay attention to my request. However, they convinced me to buy insurance as well!!! You can see how this table looks like after just 3 weeks of use!

Clean, well organized furniture store with a large selection. I was immediately greeted upon entering the store. The sales person was very nice and knowledgeable. I was lied to, but this review will never see the light of day because they protect their own. Massi told me he would get me a mattress, whatever it took. He and Lee both said they would call Paula and they had ways of working it out, pulling from other orders, other store inventory, etc. Lies, all of it! Very disappointed in their complete lack of professionalism. Massi is a LIAR and Lee is a LIAR! SHAME ON BOTH OF THEM.

My husband and I went to Ashley’s to purchase a living room set. JR is a great salesman, he was patient while we decided what we wanted, and his experience made our purchase smooth and quick. He is such a friendly person, and we even learned a little about him. We will go back to Ashley’s in the near future for more furniture purchases and will ask for JR. We will also tell our family and friends to ask for him as well.

So, if you're thinking of ever going to Ashley Furniture store, DON'T DO IT! The sales process, of course, is great. The customer service after that, TERRIBLE. Full of excuses "we use a 3rd party delivery service"....."that's bad information, who did you talk to?" "You'll have to pay a RE-delivery fee." On and on. AND.....they are willing to lose the whole sale (and try to charge me 30%) instead of delivering a different day (AFTER I had advised the time picked would not work). Unreal. WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER.

I did not purchase anything from this store. I was interested in buying a couch, sectional, or chaise sectional. I visited the store on two separate occasions. Each time I was never greeted at any point while in the store nor was I asked if I needed any assistance. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the 1st time (although not deserved). I assumed things would be different on my 2nd trip. There are mostly white employees at this location. I am African American. On this visit, one of their employees came down the aisle. There was my mom & I and a white couple close by browsing. He literally ignored us and went right over to the white couple. You draw your conclusion. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture (at least this location) unless things change with the customer service.

They are deluding customers with sale price. For the bed set, the total price of $1200. When you add the individual item price, the total was $1400. They advertise $300 off the the set. I have expected $1200 - $300 = $900. But they calculated $1400 - $300 = $1100. They are cheating customers. Be careful for what you are buying!!

Just purchased my sleeper sofa with the help of Lee Fox and manager Massey. As soon as I️ walked in, I️ was greeted by sales rep Lee whom, without any added pressure, made me feel welcomed and attended to. He provided me with the latest sales information and allowed me to stroll around on my own. I️ told him what I️ was looking for, he listened intently, and pointed me in the right direction without any tactics to upsell me. I️ ended up choosing my sofa and got it with a great deal thanks to manager Massey. This is my second large purchase from this location and I️ will return again.

Worse experience of my life, they don't take any responsibility after delivering damaged items. And when you call them to inform about the damaged items , they misbehave on the phone. The web is full of their bad customer service and poor quality of products. If you really want to buy Ashley, then buy online so you at least get some good customer service and price is always better on the Ashley website.

Recently, I bought a new house that’s why I went to this store to buy new furniture. I bought $ 5,000 furniture. During purchase, they told us that all items are 50% on sale but when we compared the prices from the website, found that they sold us everything at 20% higher price. When I went back to ask them, they admitted and refund the difference. They artificially increase the prices to run fake sale. However, the real issue started after the delivery, at the time of delivery we told the delivery person that almost all furniture is not in correct shape. He said that we need to call the store and we called the store and talk with the sales staff 20 times. She did nothing other than saying manager will call us back but the manager never called us back. After all this when I went back to store to talk with manager, he told me same story that we are working on it but don’t know when will it resolve. He told his wrong name to everybody. What type of manager of a store use fake name? Be careful they have very very bad customer service on the top of bad quality. I am not the only one who has an issue with their furniture and customer service. Read reviews about them on other platforms before to buy anything from them.

The floor is laid out so that you can visualize the living and dining room items that will work together, for an open floor layout. Lots of accessories on display.

Worked with Will Hamed who was amazing! Gave us our space to look around with plenty of time without pressuring us to make a decision. Was very helpful when we wanted an odd configuration of a couch set up but worked with us to make sure it was what we wanted. Highly recommend!

I go to this furniture store often and it is nice to see how much they have upgraded their services. They have a variety of options from kitcheware to sofas and beds. Their customer services has also improved tremendously, Zawar ( a sales clerk) was really helpful.

I came here to buy new sofas for my house, the prices were affordable and the quality is amazing. There are many options available, so if you want to narrow your search tell the sales clerks what you need. Zawar was the one who helped me out, great guy!
This place has sofas and table in fine quality, the prices seem reasonable as well. The sets I looked at seemed well polished and undamaged so it is worth shopping here. What makes it even more impressive is the customer service. The sales clerks are all really nice, especially Zawar, he showed me around the store and made sure I found what I was looking for.

I’m super picky when it comes to furniture but their salesman Masse was perfect!! Wasn’t pushy and let me take my time while being extremely knowledgeable on all products. Definitely recommend him and Ashley to everyone I know looking for furniture.

Great sales person (Lee Fox) who made it very pleasant experience from the beginning. I almost didn't go through with the sale because the manager who made me buy a vase for $28 ( which I gave to Salvation Army) to meet the free shipping price. Delivery and installation was smooth and within the delivery window and very nice people. Overall, beside the experience with the manager, I had a great experience with customer service and would have given it 5 stars.

I usually mainly leave negative reviews out of frustration, but I wanted to commend Sam's understanding and ethical business practices. So I am leaving this positive review. During the 2018 Black Friday sale event, my wife and I placed a large order at this store. 4 days later we realized our purchase was rushed and we went back to the store and met Sam the Manager. Sam welcomed us and understood our situation. He was very friendly. Although the notice to cancel our order was expired, Sam did us a favor and agreed to cancel the order without charging us the 10% fees as expected by the contract we signed. My wife and I will now take the time to define exactly what we want and if Ashley Furniture has what we want, we will shop there again. I am willing to give my business to a company that listens and understands its clients and that is not driven solely by greed. Thank you Sam.
Purchased a floor model dining room table. Picked it up later in the week. Was in good shape, price was fair. Also ordered a bedroom set and a couch. Took about 4 weeks to come in, which is what the estimated time frame was (4-6 weeks). Furniture was rather expensive, but it is all solid and good quality in my opinion. Wish they had some better financing deals... But I'd prefer to buy it out right and avoid the debt.

The worst company to ever do business with. First our sales guy J.O was nice. We did our business and was out. We purchased a sectional and dinning room set so I thought. I told my J.O I wanted the 5 pc. dinning set. When my shipment arrived I recieved 3 pieces. J.O told me it was an error in their behave and mine that I should have taken a closer look at my invoice and that there was no sign for a 5pc. set. Funny there is a 5pc. set online. Now they called me a liar. Anyway I had to pay more out of pocket. I felt as if I was paying more at this point. They never reassured i wasn't. I was then told after bickering back and forth I was going to get a 100 dollar rebate. Sam the manager then confirmed no it was not a rebate it was a store credit. I did not want that. Then I was told J.O would deliver my extra chairs to my house then I would have to return back to the store to get my refund after I recieved the chairs. 1 week later no chairs but the money was already pulled from my account. I call back J.O informs me he can't deliver anything until I go and sign for my purchase. At that point I'm pissed called corporate customer service just to hear I understand 10 thousand times but hear no resolutions out of Hanna's mouth. Instead so are you going to pick up your chairs. I ask can you pick up the chairs from warehouse and have them at the store to avoid 2 trips. She says oh I never thought about that or if we can do it. I'll have a corporate manager call you about delivery. No one called. I went and waited a whole day signing and picking up my chairs building them at home when all this should have been taken care of from a store level. Customer service is a joke in this company. They just want your money and the rest will fall on the customer. Never have I had such bad service. I have already let many people know and will continue to tell people so no one does business at Ashley Furniture that I know. My sister was going to make a purchase and a friend but I stopped them both.
All prices are marked up more than 2.5 times what you may find on their own website. And then they say its 50% off. If you confront them, they offer price match but you loose all other frills like quick/free delivery. 100% fake store!!!
The Catonsville location is amazing and JO is the best salesman I have ever encountered. Please go see him!!!! I visited another Ashley location and was completely disappointed. I decided to give the Catonsville location a try and I am so happy I did.

Then they wanted me to sign a new contract on a paid sale when I went to get my delivery fee refunded. Nope. Never again. Furniture is not that great. Flimsy.
My recent experience at Ashley HomeStore Catonsville was pleasant. I initially visited the store to view a few sofas I liked online. I made the decision to purchase a sofa that wasn't on my list, as I liked it the best. The only concern was, the Sales Associate was annoying. He greeted me when I walked in and continued to pop up, I even saw him following me as I went from sofa to sofa. Look, I understand they have a job to do, but I didn't like him stalking. Perhaps he could have just handed me his card and if I had any questions, I would have found him.
The Sales rep was very helpful and informative.
How do I even start. My salesperson John was awesome. Ashley Furniture as a company is one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I never write reviews but I went through so much with the exchange/return process with them that someone should watch out. So, I bought a bedroom set (which is super nice, I love it) and a Sofa and a loveseat - Geashill kind to be exact. Everything took about 6 and a half weeks to arrive, they wouldn’t deliver until EVERYTHING was available. Mkay, whatever, understandable. Everything WAS lovely until I noticed on my loveseat a brown water mark and a tear on the corner. THEN I sat on my sofa for about three hours max and the next day I have BITES all over me. Went to the doctors and got a doctors note, confirmed bites. Tried to contact customer service and unfortunately each Ashley furniture is independently owned so you have to wait until the store is open and or come in in person if you have any issues. Not only that, I have to contact the warehouse (STORE WOULDN’T DO ANYTHING AND ADVISED ME TO CONTACT WAREHOUSE FOR PROBLEMS WITH THE SOFA SET) which is only opened M-F 9am-5pm (maybe 10am) I can write a 10 page paper on my experience with the warehouse team because that’s another separate nightmare issue. SO if your couch is delivered on a Friday and you noticed something, good luck trying to get that situated because mine took over a month to get EXCHANGED for a damaged loveseat and possible bugs on the sofa which turned into a RETURN. It went from exchanged to RETURN without notifying me, I had to call to make sure I was still getting my sofa set EXCHANGED. Store confirmed with me that I will get my FULL refund, I asked and said that I thought it was an exchanged and the only answer I got was “no ma’am it is for a return”. Here I am waiting 2.5 weeks for an EXCHANGED that turned into a RETURN. So I said okay that’s fine, I want to keep my bedroom set. Store told me to come in and bring the Return receipt once the couch has been picked up. This past Saturday the couch has been picked up so I went Sunday to get a return on my original card. Here comes the BEST part. Got to the store, and was told that I have to wait for warehouse to check the sofa in before I can get a refund. NO ONE TOLD ME THAT. Mind you I live about half an hour away. I was told, once your sofa is picked up, come in and we will issue a refund. So manager got involved and told me that I DONT NEED TO COME IN AGAIN, AN ASSOCIATE AT THE COUNTER TOOK MY ID AND SAID WE CAN PROCESS THE RETURN FOR YOU OVER THE PHONE. Here I am calling today Tuesday to get a refund over the phone, and guess what? I HAVE TO COME IN. I am just so sick and tired of the run around. NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO ASHLEY FURNITURE. Purchase date: June 22,2018, it is now September 4, 2018. Just to give you an idea of how much headache I had to go through.
I will never step foot in this store ever again...the manager sucks, they trash talk their competition, lie about prices and worst of all they think people are dumb and cant read or count... furthermore customers are the reason yall have jobs...respect and appreciate us.....I wont be returning!! Extremely bad service and store. They are trying to fleece customers with bad return policies. The dealing associate kept on saying that you can return at any time. Did not say anything about restocking fee. The furniture ordered was cancelled within 24 hours and still 30% restocking fee was charged. There needs to be a class action suit against the Ashley stores and specially the one at Catonsville
This is the worst furniture store in Maryland. They are a rip off. Please stay as far away as possible! I bought a bedroom set and later found the same set at Bob’s furniture (Columbia) for half the price. I went back to cancel my order and the store manager (About 5 10”, with grey hair, and slim figure) charged me 10% cancellation fee and threatened to charge me more because I told him I wouldn’t do business with them again. His exact words were “I’ll charge you 30% since you won’t be our customer again”. I told him he has no right to charge more than 10%, and he replied that “ he is the manager and he can charge what ever he likes at his own discretion”. They ended up charging me 10% but I still got a better deal at Bob’s buying the same set despite the cancellation fee. Please, don’t take me words for it. Go in and compare their prices to other stores and you will realise that the post is true. I will strongly discourage anyone I know to buy from them.

Beautiful furniture. Attentive sales representatives....but Nasty centipedes crawling all over it in the showroom. As a repeat customer of Ashley furniture, i know presentation can be everything. I was ready to spend my new Ashley credit but I was very comfortable after that sight. Obviously I am not fond of insects. This location really needs to do something about the bug problem. Yuck.

I went to store to look some furniture and the salesperson said we will deliver within one week. Then I went next day to buy furniture and after buying and paying he said the furniture will come in 4 to 6 weeks. When I asked him he said yeah that’s how it is and unfortunately it won’t be delivered right away. First they lied when the furniture would deliver. I am really tired of waiting and I asked if they can deliver whatever they have available but they can’t deliver til next week because the trucks are full and not available. I feel like theg will say anything to get you buy their furniture and then they will change the statement I am just really really upset with this people and their store and I will never go back to buy anything else..

I don't understand how this company still operates. Terrible service. Purchased a product and changed our minds the next day. Went to the store to tell them we changed our minds but the check we wrote had already been charged so we we're issued a refund check. We were told it would take 28 business days, it's now been 40 business days. We've been in contact with the employees in the store along with corporate and have been getting no answers on where the refund check is. Today corporate called us back and let us know it would take ANOTHER 30 business days because of an issue on their end. This company sucks.
I went in for a sale over the Mother's Day weekend. The selection of living room furniture was great and the salesperson, Masse Sultani, was awesome. He didn't rush me or try to talk me into something that I didn't want. He didn't hover and allowed me to go back and forth between my 2 choices as many times as I needed too. Unfortunately, we didn't make a purchase only because, after Masse did some measuring for us, we discovered what we liked was too large for the room. One thing is certain, we will be shopping there again and I hope that Masse will be there!

We can't speak highly enough of our recent visit and the assistance we received from Sam. We happened to be vacationing in the area and stopped in on a whim. Sam was knowledgeable about the specific items we were looking at, very helpful, and knew exactly when to step back and let us talk to each other. Unfortunately the delivery fee back to our home was prohibitive, because Sam really deserved the commission after such a pleasant shopping experience.
My Husband and I were there to look living room furniture. A Salesman approached us and offered his help. We were just looking so he was very courteous and told us if we had questions to come see him. We walked around and he checked on us a couple of times. The husband and I just left after being in the store for two consecutive days. Masse was by far the best salespeople we have encountered. He presented himself in a five star way. In spite of us spending thousands of dollars we walked out with a smile on our face. As we transition into our new home, we will be returning to Ashley Furniture and asking for Masse.

I purchased my furniture on December 27th! The furniture was FINALLY delivered on March 14th. They assembled two bedroom sets and informed me that the 3rd bed could not be assembled because the bed was missing parts. The driver told me that the parts were in the warehouse and he would be back between 10 and 11 AM the next day to assemble the bed. 11 AM came and went, so I contacted the store. They informed me that the driver had no right to tell me they had the parts in the warehouse, or that they would return the next day. They were also unaware that the bed was not assembled, or that it was missing parts. Had the manager called me back that day (which I requested), they would have known. I have since been informed that the earliest they can return will be on the 23rd of March (IF THE MISSING PARTS COME IN). In the interim, I have a child who has to sleep on the floor surrounded by bed parts which WILL cause bodily injury if they happen to fall over on him. I have left numerous messages for the manager to call me back to no avail. They tell me the manager is too busy to speak with me EVERY TIME I call the store. I have contacted corporate headquarters to no avail. Customer service seems to believe that I have NO RIGHT to be angry or upset. Their unsympathetic, cold, unprofessional and half-hearted attempts to FIX the problem are UNACCEPTABLE. Again, it's all good until you pay for the furniture. At that point, this company will SCREW you over and do so in the most RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL manner that I EVER experienced with ANY company that I have ever had dealings with. Sorry and we'll send you a $50 gift card is NOT AN ACCEPTABLE fix for my current issue!

My wife and I have been to many name brand furniture stores in search of a dining table. Every place took atleast 20mins to understand our requirement but at Ashley it took our sales person (Max) less than 2 mins to show us what we really want and connected with us real quick. They don't try to hard sell any of there products . Also helped us narrow down to a set ,which my wife and I could agree on, by creating a combination of table, chairs and bench from 3 different models.

We needed a whole house furnished and I wanted Ashley so I stop by the Catonsville location and really didn’t see anything that I liked but was willing to forego that because I wanted Ashley. The salesman, Quinton, I could tell immediately he was just looking to make a sale. My observation was confirmed when I started to engage in conversation with him. He had no desire to listen to what I was saying or what I wanted, the conversation took such a turn where he made the comment that he knew how to communicate and at that point I just ended the conversation. If you have to “announce” your communication skills in the middle of a conversation where you are doing most of the talking and not listening it is clear to me that you don’t have a clue about customer service. Bottom line I went down the street to Value City Furniture and purchased about 5,000 dollars worth of furniture but I know for a fact we would have gotten more from Ashley because they had more of a selection than VCF, sorry that experience was inexcusable and there is no way I would spend my money in an establishment where that type of thing takes place.

Will, our salesman took care of all of our needs. Easy going salesman, not too pushy. His manager took extra good care of us and gave us a great deal with our multiple purchases.
They basically did a bait and switch we ordered a high top table and chairs delivered small chairs and then it's taken weeks and weeks and we still haven't gotten the chais replaced. It's amazing how quickly they can deliver items when you're a new customer but if you have a problem why is it taking weeks? Also a Salesman at another store is requesting credit card information through email which is not allowed I cannot recall his name(nick??) At the Catonsville md store but the manager at Ashley Home Store in Rosedale knows the name he is taking advantage of many customers also the sales person I spoke to said he was a derelict I can't believe this man is still working at this company my sales clerk was very nice and I liked her but unfortunately I don't remember her name. The furniture seems to be decent quality but the customer service is so bad. Let me add that the online prices are different than in-store prices. My advice is to go to the store to look at the furniture and then purchase it online you're likely to get a better price if you want the furniture put together I believe you have to go in store .... the world is a vampire ( song reference)

I was quoted 2 - 4 weeks for delivery of my items both of which was in stock. I've yet to receive my items and apparently they are still in transit. Very disappointed with the service.

Had an acutely unpleasant and baleful experience at Regency Furniture - a subsidiary of Ashley's, and across the street from Regency Furniture in Catonsville, MD. The manager at Regency Furniture was an uncooperative and menacing individual - demonstrating a repugnant demeanor, acrimonious tendencies, and deleterious leadership qualities. Upon requesting an innocuous confirmation regarding a price check on a piece of Furniture, the manager hastily dismissed my request and completely attended to another customer with a less pressing situation: it was simply greet the customer. The price check was requested because when we verified the price with Ashley furniture, the price was significantly less than the initial price we had paid; additionally, we have not received our furniture yet. While confirming the actual price with Ashley’s furniture - and addressing it with the manager - the manager refused to provide the refund, and continued to perpetuate his signature inclinations to be rude. After inquiring about the viability of cancelling the order completely, the manager belligerently said that we have to pay a 30% penalty fee - while Ashley's furniture told us it was actually 10%. Although I believe I handled the situation in very diplomatic, and candid manner, this manager displayed serious indications of contempt, indifference, and animosity towards me. At this point, I am less disappointed in his protestations towards considering giving the refund, relative to his absent-minded and self-interested propensity to act out of imprudence and unprincipled behavior. The simple courtesy of doing the right thing, and admitting that he was wrong to overcharge us through store confirmation would have sufficed and facilitated any financial dilapidation we may have incurred. Evidently, I intend on never going to this store again, nor will I refer my large network to this entity. Terrible service, substandard quality, and exorbitant prices; do yourselves a favor - and go buy your furniture somewhere else.
Great durable furnitures
Ashley has always been a bit of an odd place for me. The best way to describe it would be as a furniture mine.... Where you need to dig through a lot of slag to find the gem you want. Overall, it's pricey and tends to be behind the style curve by about 10 years but it's still a place you can go and actually touch and feel and sit in the exact thing you're getting.
This company needs to figure out what they are doing... It all started well. I went and purchased furniture, cool salesman was helpful, they matched online price. Their shipping period was long but at that time it was not an issue, however it later changed. So we went to go return the furniture. For some reason you can't do it over the phone, which was frustrating but you can move past that. So i went to the store, and they tell me 10% cancellation fee..... Online it states that you can cancel without issue as long as its 48 hours before delivery... at this point we didnt even know when it was supposed to be... The girl at the desk just kept reading me whats on the back of the paper for the purchase and would not honor the policy. Then she told me it is a corporate policy they are a franchise. Cool, that is fine. So online states no fee, that is the corporate policy. She said "No the store, online and corporate all have separate policies"....After which, I tried and they would not budge. So I paid it and will file a claim through my CC since they honor the benefits their "online company" puts forth. I would honestly never buy from here again, the manager, or she claimed she was, was rude and needs to think about what customer service is...they are not making enough money where my 10% made that much of a difference to them? I would definitely not recommend.
My experience was heartbreaking! I have to wait for a long time for my furniture to arrive (more than 4 weeks to be sleeping on the floor and eating without a table) and when delivered, it is incomplete because some of them were damaged in the process of the delivery. Ashley didn't offer anything to appease the customer's disappointment. Employees were not apologetic enough to the whole situation. I can sense that employees are not sensitive to their customer's feelings. They were not tactful. They didn't show concern. For me, Ashley is projecting a culture of "this is just plain business" attitude. They don't touch the hearts of their customers.
This is by far one of the worse Ashleys stores we have done business with. The managers here LACK customer service and still want to charge a 30% cancellation fee after they screw up and forget disclose important information before buying furniture. Take my word run the opposite way and steer clear from this awful business.
We had a great experience with Dante as our salesperson! After some negotiating problems with the manager, Dante was the perfect communicator, which led us to purchase several furniture pieces! We are very pleased with our purchased items and would go back to purchase more.....and absolutely ask for Dante as our Salesperson!
5 stars for my salesman Dante Waul, 0 stars for the manager. Labor Day weekend, I purchased a sofa & loveseat set, and a recliner. Dante was very attentive and was not pushy at all! I was told it would take 2 to 6 weeks to receive and be delivered to my house. It has been over 6 weeks and my furniture has not been delivered. They have the set, but do not have the recliner. I ended up having to speak to the manager in person at the store because he did not call me as requested, nor did the district manager who was at the store the previous day. Since it was past the 6 weeks, I asked for them to ship what they had now and ship the recliner when they received it. He gave me only 2 options, 1) pay a delivery fee of $70, which was a lie, it is $80, or 2) pick up the recliner myself when it comes in. Neither option was acceptable. What makes the situation worse is that he admitted/claimed that he tried to call about the recliner and had not heard back about it. In other words he wants me to wait for it indefintely and not compensate me in anyway for my time of broken promise or 6 weeks. Fortunately, Dante intervened and took care of the issue, giving me an acceptable resolution (hence the 5 stars!). I would definitely shop there again with Dante as my salesman. I hope to see him acheive the rank of manager!

Disappointed with customer service and delivery department. My daughter's loft bed was delivered without the ladder (which is a major piece to the bed) and the proper storage unit. I had to send pictures and convince the customer service reps at the store that it was infact the wrong storage unit. This is the unit that connects to the ladder and supports the bed. Customer service didn't know their own product. It took over a month to receive the missing parts. At their first attempt to deliver it, the delivery department had the wrong address. Even thought it was their fault and I gave them my correct address, they refused to deliver it that same day. Therefore, I had to wait another several days. The day is negotiable but, not the time of delivery and you are notified just the day before. So, if the time does not work for you, Ashley refuses to work with you to change the time window of delivery. My daughter was unable to access her bed that was not sturdy because of the wrong piece to support the bed for OVER a month.
The delivery time is too long i.e 2 to 6 weeks
We have bought several pieces of furniture from Ashley in the past and have always been satisfied, but were extremely satisfied with the service we receive from Dante Waul when we purchased our latest addition to the home, a dining room set. Dante was courteous and attentive and made sure we got the best pieces for the best price. Will definitely recommend.

I never give 5 star reviews but Dante Waul in the Catonsville store just made my day. First and foremost, I hate the idea of entering any business and having a sales person stalking. This is why internet shopping has become so popular, in my opinion. Well, I purchased a living room set from Dante and he was very helpful and pleasant. He didn't make me feel obligated to make a purchase nor make me feel that I needed to spend $5000 for 1 item for him to keep interest. He was patient and even worked up a good deal for me. I couldn't be happier. If you have to go into Ashley Furniture, go to Catonsville and ask for Donte. When my furniture arrives, I will give an update on the quality.

My sales associate was fantastic. I found almost everything I needed, and the quality is good. I did have to wait a few weeks as I had purchased quite a few items. So, if you can wait a few weeks, then for sure try there.

My husband and I bought a sectional couch from Ashley several weeks ago. J.O. Was our sales rep. It was delivered about five weeks later but the sectional was damaged. No one from Ashley ever apologized or asked how they could help. A replacement piece was delivered today and this was also damaged. I had to contact the store and the manager was not even willing to speak with me on the phone. J. O. Said there was nothing he could do to help. Terrible customer service. I will never purchase anything from Ashley again.

The delivery/assembly men put my Porter round table together with 2 correct screws and 2 drywall screws because they knew that the base did NOT fit the table top but said nothing. Because I did not discover this mistake until I moved 2 years later, customer service told me that there is nothing they will do and the director did not return my calls. After many years of faithful patronage, that was my last furniture purchase. Even their website is censored... I attempted to post my bad review for the table on Ashley's website but it has as of yet to appear over a week later.

This is by far the worse experience I've ever had. We purchased a bedroom set in late July. It was supposed to be in stock and would be delivered in 2 weeks. I called 2 weeks later and the representative said it could take up to 6 weeks, but all the pieces were in stock with the exception of the side rails. They gave me another ETA that was 2 weeks later, which was the end of August, then they gave me a date in September. I spoke to a manager and he said he would check into it and call me back. He never called me back. I went to the store for a refund on September 15 and found out the set was discontinued!!! Clearly they knew the set had been discontinued, but they never bothered to let me know. I will never purchase anything else from this location. The customer service is horrible!

Great options, go around holiday's to get even greater deals. We went around 4th of July and saved around $500 off of a couch. The associate helping us worked with our budget and we were able to negotiate a good deal with him.

I will never shop here again. They do not give refunds, after paying I learned I had to wait 6 weeks to receive my furniture. Then when I got it, they couldn't put it together and had to wait 2 more week for the right parts. Worse place to shop. They will suck you in but don't fall for it.
Great time at Ashley Furniture with Dante Waul! He provided excellent customer service. Beware!!! The delivery process is horrible! I was promised for my household goods to be delivered this past Thursday. The first phone call I received that Thursday stated that the truck was running behind 30 minutes. The second phone call I was notified the truck was running behind 2 hours. The third call I was notified the truck broke down and my couch would have to be rescanned back into the warehouse which takes 24-72 business hours. The rep informed me that she would give me a call Saturday with a delivery time for Monday. I did not receive a call from anyone at all that day. Here it is Monday and I had to call the store to inquire about my couch. I was then informed that they could deliver the couch Friday or anytime after that because they had openings then. I called to speak with the manager and was on hold for almost ten minutes. As a result I was reimbursed my delivery fees and will be picking up my own furniture from the warehouse. Buyers beware!!!

This would be our second visit to this location in Catonsville, MD. Out of all of the furniture stores up and down Route 40 we always seem to come back to Ashley's because of their people. Their prices and service are unbeatable! We first bought a top-of-the-line mattress and couch set that we love!!! So, we came back shortly after and purchased a matching coffee table. We had a wonderful experience with Hira, Sam and Pete. These individuals aren't like other furniture sales reps who just follow you around and breathe down your neck, they actually give you space. Planned on purchasing new furniture for a new apartment. While wandering the store a man JB would kindly ask if I needed anything and let me browse independently until I was ready. He was such a lovely guy I told everyone how much of a gentleman he was and how helpful he was to help me figure out how I could make it all fit in my new room. If you want a great deal and the best customer service come to this Ashley's. Ask for "AK" (Ankit Sharma), usually there on Saturdays and Sundays. This man will hands down get you the best deal and accommodate your needs. I order an new sectional originally to find that my unit had changed and I was gonna need it in the opposite layout. I called AK up and he took care of it in a 30 second phone call and had the paper waiting for me to stop in and sign. I'll be back and will ask for AK.

This store is absolutely terrible . Go Elsewhere!! How they setup their delivery schedule is horrible. Their Sales Manager Darlene should be in no position of management ANYWHERE. I am trying to get a better understanding of why they setup up delivery the way they do, and Darlene is making jokes that are not funny and it frustrated me that she was not taking the situation more serious. My original sales representative was great. It been down hill since I purchased my items.

Terrible customer service, terrible warehouse organization and even worse accountability. We recently purchased a mattress and floor model bed (the Wesley King Poster bed) with a dresser and night stand. Where we got these for a good price, we didn't encounter any issues until after pick-up. We were told because it was a floor model, they would not do delivery; we had to come pick up the bed, dresser and night stand - which was all well and good, we complied. Once we got home and were ready to put everything together, upon unwrapping everything, we realized we were missing all the nuts/bolts to put our bed together. Upon further inspection, we discovered we were also missing the screws to mount the mirror to our dresser and the knob to the front of our night stand was missing. Another issue is they did not pack all the right slats and slat legs. They actually packed a slat board that wasn't even a king size - it was meant for a full size bed and did not match any of the other equipment - so they gave us part of someone else's order. After calling into the Ashley store (Catonsville, MD), they said they could not help us over the phone and to physically come in. We came in the next day and they informed us they would have to order all the hardware which would take 1-2 weeks. We received the other equipment within a week fortunately, and was able to put our bed mostly together, however, they still left out 4 important nuts to secure the baseboards to the foot of the bed. We are now weeks into our order with an incomplete bed. Yesterday rolls along, the day of our mattress delivery and the driver arrives with a mattress that we didn't pay for - we paid a lot of money for a beauty rest pillow top and what they came with was not that. Come to find, they delivered our expensive mattress to someone else. They take the bed & boxspring and say they have to bring it back to their warehouse for rescanning and reshipping. No lead time as to when we can get a mattress. No one tried to expedite the order after THEY messed up, no one offered any further assistance, they just said oh we're sorry. We called into the store we purchased our furniture at and get hung up on 4 times. We ask to speak to a manager and they say no one is available - to put in a request and a manager can call you back in 48 hours. For a company that prides themselves on "honesty, integrity, accountability and customer service" we have yet to see any of this take place on what has been the most miserable experience with a company I have ever encountered. A small mistake along the way is one thing but to mess up on not one but every order made is absolutely ludicrous. They have no organization and no care to fix the problem - all they care about is making the sell. Once they have your money, you can't get a refund, they offer a store credit, so they don't bother with helping the customer after multiple mistakes on their end. so here we are 3 weeks into our order with no bed, very little customer service and what is becoming a price we paid for an incredibly inconvenient and frustrating experience with Ashley Furniture. Disappointed hardly describes my feelings for this company. We ordered from Value City and had every thing we ordered within DAYS. Zero issues. Do not make the mistake of going to Ashley's - go to Value Furniture and be treated with respect and like they give a damn about you.

Horrible horrible delivery issue with Ashely! Have been waiting for king bed for over 3 months. ETA is postponed consistently. We are even not allowed to cancel order because store manager told you he has no authority to cancel orders. Are you kidding me?? You cannot deliver a bed in 3 months and cannot give a correct ETA and now you are telling me we are not allowed to cancel it??? If you don't want to be pissed off so badly, Do NOT buy from Ashley!!! Never!

Absolutely awesome experience. Anthony and Quiton were both excellent. They were helpful but not over bearing like car salesmen. We were able to make our purchase and set-up delivery all in on visit. Dave was helpful also. Great store with super customer service!!!

I stopped into the store to see a living room set I had seen online. J.O. was the salesperson who helped us and he was wonderful. Very friendly and patient. Unfortunately, they didn't have the set in the store, however he tried to find it in another store for us. We ended up purchasing another set and have been extremely happy with our experience. Anshika, who checked me out and scheduled my delivery, and the sales manager were very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend the store.
I see there is a epidemic on late furniture delivery. I will add to this list as well. Been more than 2 months since purchase. Same story as the other customers, keep saying the furniture is coming. Still waiting. About ready to cancel and spend my money elsewhere.

Had a delivery date and was to receive a call the day before for the 4 hour timeframe...No call, so I called the store and was placed on hold-no one came to the phone. I called back, was placed on hold again, no one came to the phone! Their customer service is horrible!!
I went to Ashley Furniture store and i was greeted by a well dressed salesman his name is Timothy Dante Waul. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful and very polite. I was very pleased with my purchase and my salesperson. It was a good experience to go into a store and didn't get hassled by the salesperson. It was a pleasure for once. Timothy Dante Waul was our associate at Ashley and he went out of his way to help us. He didn't want us to leave until we were 100% satisfied and so he worked with us to make that happen. He even gave us his contact info in case we had any issues, and always responded right away. It has been a real pleasure working with him!
I have been waiting since The Saturday of Presidents Day Weekend for furniture that I was told would be delivered. We called and they said they had our couch but were waiting on a small kitchen table and chairs. they would deliver the couch but we would have to come and pick up the table and chairs. When pressed, we told them to cancel the table and chairs and deliver the couch, they said they found the furniture and would be able to deliver it this week. There was a snow storm yesterday and we were told if the delivery was canceled they would call. Also the said they would reach out to us 30 minutes prior to deliver - very important as my wife and I both work and we need the time to get to the house. Well after hearing nothing my wife just called today and was told they are 15 minutes away. I wonder if she is not there will they just leave - lets hope not. We had to push to get our furniture and then no communication unless we initiated it. The service with this company is deplorable and I will never go back and further will never tell anyone to shop here. If I could give no Star - I would!

My experience in the store was great. The man who helped me (J.O.) was so incredibly sweet and worked hard to get me the sectional I wanted. When I finally ordered the sectional, they assured me it most likely wasn't going to be the 6-8 weeks that they tell you. LIES!!!!! It has been over 7 weeks and I have heard nothing until today when I called. The woman I spoke with said that it wasn't supposed to come into the warehouse until March 17th which is over 8 weeks from my purchase. When I told her this, she double checked everything and my couch just so happened to be delivered to the warehouse today. Coincidence? I think not. Then, she told me it hadn't been scanned in, so she she would give me a call tomorrow. So, how long does it take to scan furniture in? how does she know it's been delivered if it hasn't been scanned in? I spent $1500 on this couch and have been sitting in my new apartment without it for two weeks. I am extremely disappointed and will most likely NEVER be stepping foot in this store again.

Not a pleseant exprience at all. I would never purchase anything from them again. Ive been waiting for my purchase for 6 weeks and still have not recieved my furniture for my new house. Any time I call to check the status of my order they postpone the delivery date, it happened 3 times so far. Do not recommend this place at all.

I work for a big commercial company I was looking for big purchases around $25,000.00. But we need to buy one dresser and a nightstand to show the CEO of the company. They made us jump through so many hoops just to get two pieces of furniture. We were at the warehouse to pick up the two pieces but after we had to wait for 30 minutes for them to get it off the shelf. This was the biggest joke so we Cancelled the purchase and went to value city down the road. Way better experience now they got our Business. Value city is very happy.

It's a really wonderful place for anyone who wants furniture. They have excellent customer care with best services. Employees seems really professional. There was a employee named Aqsa who really helped me in getting my stuff which showed how good she was in her work. I really recommend this store for your furniture.

Not a pleasant experience at all. After sales transactions is over, this company leaves little to be desired. I will NEVER purchase from Ashley again. Suggest you go somewhere else. After sales, which was a fine experience filled with promise. I was introduced to what I now believe is the Ashley Furniture way of doing business. - six weeks of waiting for the furniture - schedule a delivery date of 12/19 with a promise to call 48 hours ahead to confirm delivery (well i got that call, to be told that the truck had been in an accident and delivery would now have to be scheduled for 12/28) "a week later, really!!!" I unhappily renegotiated with the helpful store manager for a 12/23 delivery today! Guess what... DAMAGED, and NO MATTRESS on the truck.... I was asked to have the area cleared and ready for delivery... well i did that and now..... no mattress - when i called to arrange for delivery for the mattress that they forgot to put on the truck, i was told 2 to 6 weeks... and the same for the damaged piece. - On several occasions during this process, the stock answers were.. " I am not sure how that happened or I don't know what to tell you" Ashley Furniture.... You have a lot to learn and teach about customer service. Will not return!

Terrible experience. Dealing with customer service is a nightmare. Protection plan is worthless. Claims were denied which my subsequent internet research showed was the norm. I tried posting photos of the couch I bought on their website review section, to show how the color wore off over time and they deleted the review.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that we at least get the correct furniture delivered, which will be a miracle since they can't even spell a the customer's name correctly.
bought a furniture and got the protection plan and I was told all damages will be covered and when the time came to put the claim now I am getting the details that your damage to my sofa is not covered under the protection plan. When it is time to sell everything is yes and when you have problem there is always excuse or exception. GREAT JOB! won't be coming back there again.
Do not ever shop here i advise you. I thought these people were elegant and mature. You would think they care about customers but they don't. It took 2 weeks to deliver my headboard. Before they could get it out the truck, they were taking it back for damages. The new undamaged one was going to take 6wks. to come. Well, i wanted my money back. They tried to charge me $360. for cancellation and restock fees. And even though the set never made it off the truck and into my house, i would mot get my $150. delivery fee back either. I was so disgusted with them i wanted to sue them in the court of law. So i had to keep the set because i was not about to lose out on over $500. The very same day my new set was delivered, they had a big sale. Buy 1 and get the other piece free. What a smack in the face. I will never buy from them again and i advise you not to. Unless you can handle the feeling of being ripped off.

Bought furniture a complete bedroom set & mattress in December. When i bought the furniture they saleman said you dont need boxsprings just the mattress with with bedframe. So a week goes by we get our furniture the guy goes you need boxsprings with this frame. I call up their and they said come in and buy the boxsprings so i did. Get them home wrong width and height two totally differnt boxsprings!! The salesman sold me two wrong box springs so had to bring them back to the store. Then gave me a hard time because i took them out of the paper wrap. (DID NOT EXPECT TO HAVE AN ISSUE) had the furniture for a month was a sleeping on it and one night the whole frame broke and and we fell to the floor.I called the store they gave me the run around and straight up lied to me every time i called the location. Called corporate and still was an issue. They ordered me parts waiting a month finnaly got a part in and it was the wrong part that i needed! Its now Feb and i'm still sleeping on the floor due to them not doing their job correctly! Asked for a refund adn they said they couldn't do that. Finally she gave me a 100.00 giftcard but the frame cost me 658.00. Still paying full price for a broken bed frame! They are a horrible company, poor customer service, rude and they dont help you out at all! Hurry to sell you stuff but when it comes to fixing a issue poor service and trying to flip it around like it was our fault were having issues with a defected item. I will NEVER buy from them again. They lost my service.
Ashley catonsville are cheats. We ordered and paid for a King size bed frame . We were waiting for delivery when Ashley called us and is forcing us to take a queen size bed frame which had the same model number as a King size bed frame and now is asking for more money and is forcing us to accept the merchandise which is yet to be delivered. They very conveniently change everything on paper and blackmail you into taking
If zero was a option that's what I would rate it. The people are very rude and my couch was delivered broken, three months it's still broken and waiting on a replacement. Please go shop somewhere else.
My husaband and I went in looking for a couch during their "everything must go, no offers refused" sale, which was a complete scam. The sales person we had was extrememly arrogant. We found a sofa that we liked but it was over what we wanted to spend so we asked what the best they could do on the sofa was. We were pretty far away price wise so we told them what we were looking to spend and instead of saying that he didn't think he could get us there his response was "well this isn't the sofa for you then". After that we were no longer interested and got up to leave. No sooner had we reached the door he had ran to his manager and told him and they were laughing about what we had said. The manager then confronted me about my price range in front of the whole store like it was some type of joke. I firmly believe that they jacked the prices up on all the furniture so they could discount it and make it seem like you were getting a good deal. I went to the store after reading the reviews thinking that everyone has an off day, but the reviews were absolutely correct. This is the worst Ashley Furniture store I have ever been to, and I have been a loyal Ashley customer for at least 10 years. No longer. We went to Bob's Discount Furniture had a very nice and helpful salesperson named Glen and bought a sectional that was just as big as the sofa we looked at for $4,000 less. DO NOT go to Ashley Furniture Store in Catonsiville unless you want to be laughed at by rude sales people because you don't want to spend $5,000 on a sofa.

Sales person and Manager all the same team.. they will cheat you .. say something and will add in your invoice Warranty , which you never wanted .. very rude and horrible experience .. will never go there , I bought more than $5500 furniture and added price of warranty and charged more.. we trusted and did not check the invoice.. when we went back , they refused to help and show weird faces .. be careful and be aware of this store .. not honest at all. !!! I wish I have checked their reviews.. majority are complaining about their dishonesty and rude attitude..

Well this is my second time going there and I haven't had any problems.. On my first trip we ran into Terrell Suggs of the Baltimore Ravens so I guess everyone was on their best behavior. But, on the trip I just was nice. Very good sales person and gave me some decent discounts.
If it has a bad star I will give it to Ashley. If I saw reviews of Ashley before I happened to see this store, I would not get in this bad management store. Please be very careful of this store. Lots of good furniture store around, never be next poor customer of Ashley.
Bad customer service
Buying here is simply a bad idea. Looked a sofa that was priced at $900. I was told they would have to charge me addtl to deliver (which is normal). Asked about the consequence of finding a better price--they said they'd take care of that but they were certain I would find a better price. Purchased it... then checked at Gardiner's Furniture across the street 30 minutes later just for good measure. They had it for $599 with free delivery--and that was the regular price! Went back to Ashley (the same sales rep and manager) said that could I not get a refund AND they would not match it or even come close!! All within a 2 hour time span!! Had to get MasterCard to return the purchase.
Delievered a couch with no legs, how does that happen? Then were not willing to help get the matter resolved. I don't think they respect American Culture, they seem to be forgein owned, who knows who is financing this operation, and where the profits are going. I am filing complaints with the Better Business Buerau and the conditions I should have checked the Google Reviews.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Worst experience ever! Great couch - but the customer service has been ridiculous. Delivered the wrong piece of furniture, talked to 3 different people who were supposed to order the correct piece and last I called the piece still had not been ordered. no note even in the system that there was a problem. Chaise for the sectional was defective so they ordered a new one, its been sitting in the warehouse but no one has bothered to setup a delivery for it. which only happens on Tuesdays in my town btw! what!?? Returned a rug that we ordered because it was the wrong one. ordered a square rug, came in round. Dropped it off to them on Sunday, was told the ONLY lady who could process it was only there Mon-Fri. so we'd have to leave it and they'd get her to do it Monday when she got in. Wednesday night it still hadn't been processed or credited. They are about to be told to cancel my order all together and come pick up the rest of the couch!
5 piece sofa set purchased. Delivered today, and the armless recliner and right-arm facing recliner are defective. Delivery folks (3rd party, from "corporate") stated that they can't take it back, and defect needs to be emailed to corporate with pictures. We decline the furniture repeatedly, but delivery said they couldn't take it back, and furniture would have to remain in our home while we resolve this with corporate. Called Ashley, and they said that because we kept the furniture, they would not get involved. We told them we were not left with a choice. They said that it still wasn't Ashley's problem. After much yelling, they conceded to contact corporate (Regency furniture?) and try to help us get rid of this bad furniture. If Ashley holds up their end, I might change this review. But for now, avoid at all costs.
Don't waste your money here. Yes, Ashley Furniture has cheap furniture that looks good - but the furniture won't last and the customer service is absolutely terrible. I've never felt more abused and stonewalled in my life. My experience with Ashley Furniture has made Comcast customer service feel like I'm on the phone with Zappos. I've been lied to, I've been called a lair, and I've been downright insulted. My wife and I purchased a table from Ashley Furniture that clearly has a manufacturer defect, yet Ashley Furniture refuses to honor the manufacturer warranty - even though we are inside the warranty period. In fact, they refuse to even look at it. The top finish applied to our table looks like the cheap laminate covers you would put on a text book as a kid - and the finish is now peeling, chipping, bubbling and beveling - even though, my wife and I have barely have used the table and kept it covered for almost entire time that we've had it. Now, my wife and I are getting the run around from their customer service employees, who have done everything from tell my wife and I that we abused the table (is barely using a table abuse?), that we must have put a glass down on the table and caused water damage (how is this plausible theory if the damage is everywhere?), and that we caused the scratches (despite the scratches not truly being scratches but being beveling in the finish). Overall, if you don't want to feel abused and treated like dirt, don't do business with Ashley Furniture. After you've written them a check, you should expect them to not to honor any agreements or manufacturer warranties (unless you sue them). And you really shouldn't expect to be treated with any dignity or respect.
Please don't waste your time in this store. We waited two months for a living room set and never received it. Ended up cancelling the transaction and asking for our money back. At least the store manager was understanding about it but the sales man don't really care.

Please don't waste your money here. Yes they have cheap furniture which looks great, but it won't last and their service is absolutely terrible. We bought a couch from there, and within a month it broke. I bought the lifetime warranty, the first time they came out and repaired it without any issues. Two months later it broke again, well it's been 3 months and they have been giving us the run around about fixing it, and now they claim that it's abuse that caused the damage. So sitting on a sofa and reclining on a RECLINER is abuse? What a joke, I am calling them on Monday and giving them a final option before I report this to the BBB and possibly even contact my lawyer. It's simple, don't waste your money here, invest what you would have spent on something better.

I purchased dining sets and two other pieces of furniture last month. I was little worried about some of the unpleasant reviews, but decided to give it a chance. The sales person, Ed who helped me was professional and friendly, the customer service by the back staff was okay, and the furniture were delivered in 4 weeks, in good condition. So overall, I was happy with my experience.

Ok this is my first ever writing a review, I am so distraught and upset with their service that I had to do this. This is the worst store ever with the worst customer service. they delivered a torn love seat and a dining table without legs. I refused to accept the merchandise so now its been 2 months and am still waiting for the dining table and the love seat. Please donot waste your time . I so regret not seeing the reviews for this store. Its a waste of time and money.
I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing a couch through this place. My girlfriend and I found a great couch that was to be delivered 4 days after we bought it. when it came it was the wrong color...when i called the store, while the delivery men were still in my house, she acted like i was wasting her time and annoyed and told me, "well u cant keep the merchandise" ok..that wasnt my intention to keep the wrong couch. after a week of not even hearing from anyone, i call again and was told then that the person i spoke to should not have had them take the couch back, that they should have left it until the correct couch came. well that didnt happen. we were told we would receive a $50 gift card for our inconvenience. (which we have yet to receive nor hear anything else about) 2 weeks later, we call, AGAIN after not being contacted and they tell us they will call to set up a time. after not calling again a few days later, i called back and they set up a time to deliver it. I just went downstairs to get the meet with the delivery men and they brought the SAME COUCH, open box and all. when i called just now, im told that we have to wait till that couch is taken back to the warehouse, checked in, then they will call us, later this week to set up a time for NEXT week again to get the couch. we called corporate to tell them that we want a full refund, to which they said we have to drive back out to the store and do it. i HIGHLY recommend not wasting your time with these people. i am not one to write reviews but i was that disappointed.
As mentioned in other reviews, they 100% mislead you about delivery. We were quoted a delivery of 2-4 weeks, the bill of sale states 2-6 weeks, and even though we're still sitting on our old furniture 7 weeks later, they offer no explanation. No wonder they have a 'D' BBB rating.
