Amazing experience!

Absolute, worse experience I've had purchasing such a large item. I bought a queen sized bed that was delivered with missing pieces, the bed cost me 800 plus tax and a delivery fee. I called and returned to the store several times to have my issue resolved and I was told someone from the delivery warehouse would get back to me. After weeks of waiting I called delivery myself who told me that an order to "Fix" the bed was put in not a request for missing parts, which was the store employees first mistake. The individual I spoke to on the phone was great and let me know they could send out the missing pieces but it would take a few weeks. All of this communication happened in November it is now February and I still have not had a chance to sleep on my bed because the prices have not been delivered. All this for an overpriced bed, absolutely ridiculous.

Super delayed on ordered sofa, I have been waiting over 2months. We keep getting the run around about delivery date. Just be mindful that you may not get what you ordered in a timely fashion.

Kim gave great insight on the financing we chose, to the deliver process, and accurate Information on the warranty. Felt great leaving out knowing I got a honest deal. Highly recommend

Lamont was SO helpful. I am moving from out of state and he helped me set up a ticket online, making sure I got all the discounts available. He was very kind and knowledgeable. My experience in the store was excellent!! Felt taken care of but not stalked by sales person...prices are great...I couldn't give 5 stars, delivery was not the best experience...they failed to come on scheduled day...did show up for the next scheduled day ( week later) but forgot a few tables..which they did bring to me same day....I'll definitely shop there again and would recommend checking them out

My first experience here was great! I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. I found what I was looking for and was assisted through the entire process. The staff was very helpful and maintained professionalism during my shopping experience. I am very pleased with my purchase and hope to come back in the future!

Within seconds of walking into the store, I was greeted by James. He is everything an excellent sales associate should be - professional, friendly, anticipates customer needs, and provides quality assistance. He demonstrates that customer satisfaction is his # 1 goal.

When I walked in I had an exact image of what I wanted. Andrea greeted as soon as I walked into the store and patiently walked with me through the store as I sat on every couch and chair, and asked about the pros and cons of each fabric. I found a near exact to what I envisioned. I was in and out in less than an hour and can’t wait for my new sectional! I will definitely come back to The Ashley Furniture Outlet in Forestville.

Ordered two full size sofa beds, had to wait 2 and a half months to get them. Had to keep calling the store to get an update as to when my furniture was coming in because no one was calling me to keep me updated. After the items came in, the day of my delivery was scheduled for the windows of 10am to 2pm. When the drivers had not come within that time frame, I called the store to find out the status of my delivery. They showed up at 2:30pm. They tried to put the couch on the elevator straight, and I told them that if they would bring it back off and put it in sideways that it would fit. They were not willing to do that. They told me that I had two chooses, that they could leave it in the lobby and I have someone to take it to my apartment, or that they could take it back to the warehouse. I talked with the delivery manager that day while they were here and asked it he could have it delivered again and please send someone that knew what they were doing. They took my furniture back to the warehouse and cancelled my order. I have been back to the store three times trying to get this straighten out. I was given a telephone number for Ashley Delivery and they refuse to listen to me or call the store back. On my second trip back to the store, I stood outside the store door and called the store. There was a young man sitting at the desk and did not pick up the phone when I was calling. I waited a few minutes and then went inside the store to find out the supervisor that I needed to talk to was not there and would not be coming in until 4:30 that afternoon. Today is Aug 17, 2022. I called this morning to see if a supervisor was present in the store. The Lady told me that she was a supervisor, and I told her my name and that I would be coming in to get my refund because the other selections that they have available, I am allergic to the material, therefore, I see no need to order something that I cannot enjoy and sit on. After getting there this morning, I was told again that the supervisor that I needed to speak with was not in the store and would not be coming up until 4:30pm this evening. If the current supervisor in the store was not able to assist me, why not tell me this while I am on the phone rather than to have me to make a 3rd wasted there for nothing. I have my lawyer informed about this and I will be reporting this to BBB.

Well i just want to say that if your not in a hurry to get your funiture right a way, order from this this store. I place my order back in February.. and they said 6 to 8 weeks is now mid Aug.. and i am still waiting on my furniture.. they keep in telling me they waiting on one more piece for the last 3 month.. i had to go get my money back.. this is ridiculous.. the worst place to order...

Demetrius was perfect. Was not over bearing. He was attentive and asked all the right questons. Whats even more impressive... he was exceptionally dressed and very well spoken for someone under 25 years of age. Bravo to Ashley on a great hire and great saleman.

This store is a total scam! My mother paid for a couch and was to have it delivered. it never showed up and finally the store said, it was damaged and put on the damaged truck and sent away. They never called my mother to inform her... even on that morning of delivery. She had to track them down and ask what happened. They let her pick another couch...was suppose to deliver that... again the day of delivery ... the guy never showed up. She had to call the store....the delivery guy said, can I delivery it the next day. My mother was done and ask for her money back but, they do not give refund from the store. It has to come from corporate office within 20 days! Do not buy anything from this store! They are absurdly un-professional in doing business. No one does business this way and I am very surprised a company as big as Ashley has processes as ridiculous as this store.

Over half of their floor models are out of stock, so you can’t get them unless you want to wait 16 weeks. They will only deliver to your zip code on a certain day of the week and give a 4 hour window, so you have to take the day off work. I scheduled delivery for tomorrow and they said they have no record of it despite me paying for it. Sales lady to me when I followed up: “I just sell the furniture. Once I sell it, delivery is on our delivery coordinating team.” No ma’am, you sold me the furniture AND a delivery service that I paid for, so it is YOUR responsibility to make sure it happens as agreed upon.

Purchased an affordable sectional here with no issues! I love it. Delivery time was quick, I only waited a week or two. And the company that moved the furniture in and assembled it were extremely efficient.

This store needs to close. Very unprofessional and unorganized. I’ve been waiting on my furniture since April and very time I call they have no clue where my furniture is ;not to mention someone changed my furniture order without my knowledge and when one of my pieces came in .......the store resold my loveseat that I already purchased. I have been patient as possible with them. Nobody in that store knows what there doing. Now on top of waiting several months for my furniture m. Now the associate says they have no knowledge or proof that I paid a $300 dollar deposit for my items . I AM VERY UPSET. I won’t recommend this store/ company to nobody.

I’m still waiting on my Mattress I ordered in July! I’ve called the store several times and can’t get in touch with the manager, and today she is off…SMH I will never purchase anything from this store ever again and I encourage you not to buy anything from here either, it’s a big head ache!

The staff was professional, friendly and well informed regarding furniture. Although what I was looking for was not in stock the salesperson assisted me so well I referred others to this store and location, Ashley HomeStore Outlet has won me over as a returning customer.

HORRIBLE!!!! Customer service is terrible. I ordered a sectional because I was promised the delivery would definitely take place before the date I needed my item by. When I called to check the status I am told it will be a month after the quoted date. When I go in to cancel the order, I am charged a fee. I would have never ordered the item if I was not given the wrong delivery date. The salesperson wanted to get a sale, I was promised a date which was not correct and I was charged a fee for this. When speaking to the manger there was no understanding of the situation, nor was he friendly or provided good customer service. He did not care to hear that his employee provided inaccurate information, so I should not have been charged a fee.

Very rude employees. As young responsible black adults, me and my wife walk into the store to shop for our new home. Not a word was said to us by any of the employees. We walked through the whole store and out. Not a fly came by us to asked if we need help. It’s ridiculous how people stereotype young black people. I’m sure if it was a white person young or old, someone would have walked up to them and offer help. Employees at Ashley’s Furniture at Capital Heights need to do better. Just saying!!!

I went to this furniture outlet store expecting to find a bargain deal on furniture. But no bargains were found at this "outlet" store. The prices were the same as a regular furniture store. I definitely can find lower priced furniture elsewhere.

Absolutely Horrible Experience 🤬 (Daughter posting for my dad) This started out as a great experience but ended as a horrible, lengthy and stressful experience. I hope no one else will have the experience I did🤬. From the beginning I called the store and an associate was able to help me with the sofa I was looking for. The sales person was very accomplished and nice. I got there with my senior dad and we chose the items we wanted. We were told we could price match to their store on line as well as get free in home delivery and set up because of the amount of the purchase. I used their Snap payment plan system for part of the purchase. We go to check out and the total was different than we calculated. The associate cashing out tried to explain the total but it still didn’t add up to what I was calculating. The manager then stepped in and explained how they have to adjust the pricing to do the online price match but it still didn’t add up. I asked what am I missing? Each person neglected to mention the delivery and set up fee that I was being charged and tried to make me think I was calculating wrong. I should not have been paying delivery fee. But the manger then explained that because of the price match I can no longer get the free deliver. While I was unhappy I said ok. We went on to finish the process. I was quoted and saw on the screen the amount I was supposed to pay in store. I paid the in store balance and signed the agreement for the snap payment plan. After paying the fee and signing the stores system said I now owe $1000 to the store on top of what I had already paid. I was also quoted a delivery date of July 7th. Well it took 2.5 hours to figure out why I now have to pay $1000 more. The snap associate could not adjust anything because they didn’t have a supervisor to approve. The snap associate also would not send me an email verifying my refund and adjustment to the payment agreement. I had to get angry and nasty for them to even send me the adjustments in writing. I ended up leaving the store paying both fees and still having an agreement saying I owed them more than I do but I did finally get my email saying the situation happened and I would get things adjusted. On top of that…when I left The store I was told that delivery would happen through the snap leasing company. I just happened to inquire via email and was told by snap that I had to have delivery set up with Ashley. Had I not inquired I would still have no delivery date. I went back to the store to get the delivery date that is now a week later than the original date. To this day (4days later) I still don’t have my agreement adjusted or my refund. This was by far the absolute worst furniture purchase I ha e ever experienced!
