So I share a joint account with my ex.girlfriend 3 years ago . Recent purchase she had 1 more payment left so she decided to go Ashley and purchase something for $ 1750.00 without my authorization or provide a signature for the new contract should had her close past account and open a new account in her name only why this didnt take place I don't understand I blame sale person I will never purchase nothing from them no more and it did effect my credit score of -5 points.
I spoke to a salesman over the phone and he was so disrespectful!! He said that anything I bought under a certain price range was "trash"! Good luck with his furniture career. This location will not have many customers buying if they continue to be insulting. Got my furniture from a nearby place the same day with no fuss. Trust me, I will be telling all my friends and family if they ever mention this company's name as a place to potentially buy furniture.
Store manager tries to educate customers when sales associates fail to deliver accurate information. Attempts to do so in condescending manner. Not a time to joke when a customer expects one thing and then is told another. Go to Columbia! Went there and had a great experience. Avoid Frederick at all costs. Paula in Columbia was 5 star by the way!

I had a deeply troubling experience at Ashley’s Furniture Store in Frederick, MD. When I asked Zia, the sales associate, about the price of a bed and two nightstands, he responded with a disrespectful and condescending tone, questioning if I was there to just ask about prices or actually make a purchase. This behavior was incredibly rude and uncalled for, especially in front of my family. When I expressed my displeasure, Zia arrogantly mentioned that he didn’t want to waste his time running back and forth if we were not serious buyers. His gangster-like demeanor was shocking and completely unprofessional. I then spoke to the store manager, who appeared uninterested and remained seated while I explained the situation. His lack of response or action to address the issue was disheartening and suggested that such behavior might be tolerated at this location. As we were leaving, Zia sarcastically wished us “good luck,” which felt like a veiled gangster threat. This experience not only ruined our shopping trip but also raised concerns about our safety. I strongly advise everyone against visiting Ashley’s Furniture Store in Frederick, MD. The staff’s disrespectful attitude and lack of proper customer service are unacceptable. This store needs to address these serious issues immediately to prevent other customers from having similar experiences. NOT TO MENTION THAT I went to a nearby store and bought a similar product and made my decision in just 10 minutes. The staff at the next store mentioned that I worked previously at Ashley’s store and they are a total mess.

Our sales person was fantastic! His name was Zee ( spelling may be wrong) not pushy but always there to answer questions and very personable. I will ask for him again. As for the sectional we purchased we love it. The price was great and quality seems very good. How long will it last well we have a cat and two teens so we can only pray!
First things first these photos are old and right now they have the best deals and service we got lots of stuff from this location and all of this is great and the people here are awesome I totally think people should come here!
We went against our son's advice, who worked from them previously and bought a sectional sofa here. When we bought furniture from them. The furniture we replaced was 25 years old and was looked great and was still good functioning order. We just wanted something new. Less that 5 years we have a hot mess because within a year of the purchase the fabric stared peeling. Now 2 cushions are very frayed. $1700 for some trashy furniture we could have bought at good will. We bought a warranty from them and of course they don't cover these issues. We definitely won't purchase their garbage again. I hope you don't make the same mistake we did.

Probably one of the worst experiences buying from them. We purchased a bunkbed that was supposed to have a rolling drawer under it, when the furniture came there was no drawer and when I called I was told that option is only available in the Twin over Full not the Twin over Twin that we purchased. They also sent broken boards and not enough hardware to put the ladder together. I opened a service ticket with them and have yet to hear back from them. The rolling drawer was ordered and no update has been provided. Now the store will not answer emails or phone calls and we have missing and broken furniture. Its just TRASH.
Maria was fabulous! She really helped us figure out how to best furnish our awkward living room space. She had ideas we never would have thought of and that we love! She listened to our likes and needs and wasn’t pushy. We’re so excited to receive our furniture.
Bought a sectional along with a recliner from Lori she was very helpful. Considering she’s very new gave us our space to look around. Not really sure what the last persons complaint was about must have been having a bad day. Since none of the sales people we seen weren’t following people like hawks.

Steve was very helpful today . He showed me where to look for the leather sofas I was trying to find and explained the sale to me . When I found the sofa & oversized chair I wanted he wrote me up quickly and explained since wasn’t in stock would be 2 to 6 weeks to get . I asked him about a senior citizen’s discount ( usually forget to ask but had just read about asking on the State Police Alumni site I belong to) he was nice and explained he would ask his manager and the manager was kind enough to give me a discount. Thank you for all your help . Next time I will be at Ashley Home first .
Tammy was such an incredible help in helping me pick out the bed frame and dresser I needed! She helped explain the differences in each piece I was interested in and made sure I got everything I needed. She made the whole process a breeze and I am so happy with the whole experience.

I bought an accent chair and after only 6 month the metal frame snapped. For 2 months I called, sent emails, only for them to tell me that the break was not covered by the warranty. Their product broke! They refused to take responsibility. Do not buy from them expecting quality or service. What a rip-off.

Be careful with this location and the delivery dates. We bought furniture and were told a delivery date of last week of November/first week of December. That was on November 11th. Then on our order form, I noticed a date range written after our agreement of two months. Our fault for not double checking but it was definitely not written in the delivery location and done nefariously at the bottom of the page. We’ve been told we’ll be lucky to get furniture in two months.

She took me from a dissatisfied buyer wanting to return the items to an advocate for Ashley Furniture. Had some hiccups on delivery (not their fault) but she went above and beyond to make it right. I've lived in Frederick for over 20 years, the reason why I stayed in Frederick is because of the people, Michelle, Lucas, and Linda are all examples of what I mean by the people. All were great.

I went to Ashley Store in Frederick, Maryland on Wednesday, 10/11/3. I was greeted by a very pleasant employee Dominic Rohr. We are so quick to complain about service, we tend to not give credit when its due. This young man was extremely helpful, courteous, patient (taking time not making me feel rushed) You would have thought I was looking to spend a lot of money. No! I was looking for a chair. Well with his help I found one. This is what we need in todays time. Kind, Helpful people. I purchased a bedroom set in the Hagerstown Store. I really like Ashley Furniture. I must say Dominic is a keeper and definitely an asset to Ashleys.
I couldn’t say anything bad about this Ashley’s! Awesome customer service and very personable! He took his time with his customer and didn’t rush his sale! Keep up the hard work Dominic Rohr!
Ignacio & Lucas were great! I visited the store 3 times before finally making a purchase and each time they were super helpful and patient, not pushy at all. The whole process was smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend either of these gentlemen.

We had an excellent experience shopping for, and ultimately purchasing, a couch and loveseat at Ashley Frederick, MD. I highly recommend shopping with the assistance of Lucas! When we entered the store, he met with us briefly to explain the current sale, and then kept a respectful distance so we could shop at our own pace. That said, he was always readily available when we had any questions. Lucas' knowledge, patience, and consummate professionalism played a primary role in our positive experience! :-)

Absolute junk quality furniture and poor customer service. I recently bought a dining table and chairs for around $2,000. It was damaged upon delivery. It took 4 visits to the store, escalation to management, and several months to get them to address the issue, which they were initially trying to claim didn't exist. Fast forward a few months after they finally fixed that issue and a lot of the finish is wearing off of the table surface and seating areas. After reporting the issue, nobody followed up, causing me to have to revisit the store and ask for status. I was told it was denied because it's cosmetic and normal wear and tear, even though I'm within the 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Some of the seats haven't even been used, yet the finish is coming off. Ashley will not do anything to assist. At this point, I have a new 6,400 square foot house to furnish and will happily take all that business to another place. I beg you... please avoid Ashley.

Horrible service. My sales person didn't seem to know anything... and that's fine if she is new... but to completely ignore us isn't okay. She didn't even try to find out info for us. Then, the manager approached us in a very pushy way. We had an idea of what we wanted but just started to gather information. And to have 1 person not care about us and a 2nd person try to push us without providing us with info is not what we expected from Ashley.
We came in looking for a number of things for the new house. Greg greeted us right away and was very polite and wasn’t pushy at all. He’s very knowledgeable. Also gave us a great discount. If you’re planning to shop here, you should definitely ask for him.

The furniture is great but the delivery is -10. Trying to get last piece of furniture ordered and it has been defective twice and they still make us the last stop and show up late every time. Pick up in store or hope like hell nothing is wrong with it the first time.
Jazmin at the Frederick store greeted us at the door,. She was very helpful, polite and patient. She and got us a great deal and explained all the costs for delivery. We left feeling we had made the right choice.
The quality of the furniture was sub-par for the pricing. Customer service was fine, and the atmosphere was OK. There was only 1 modern couch with bells and whistles. Recommend keeping exploring other options unless you absolutely fine something you love at a reasonable price.
We recently purchased furniture from Ashley's and couldn't be happier. We purchase a reclining sofa and loveseat. The salesman was very polite and professional, the finance lady as well. We were given an estimate on the delivery date and we received Text messages on the time of arrival. Very pleased all around.

Before I get to the main reason for the one star rating, let me first say that the staff at the 7th Street, Frederick MD location was great and deserve a five star rating.With that said, ASHLEY FURNITURE as a manufacturer of furniture is terrible and deserve a negative (-) 6 star review.My wife and I purchased a leather reclining loveseat with middle console. Yesterday around 11:00 a.m., it was delivered and set up by the delivery team.As a disabled Veteran, I live in chronic pain every second of my life. I've had multiple surgeries on my back resulting in permanent hardware placement/implants. I rely on our ten year old recliner loveseat for comfort and rest. But it requires replacement.Around 6:30 this morning I woke up to being flipped backwards and looking up at the ceiling fan, laying in pain.The new recliner had already fallen apart before even having it for 24hrs!!We have already contacted Ashley Furniture and will be having this poorly constructed loveseat recliner removed from our home ASAP. I will be taking my business elsewhere for future furniture needs.DO NOT BUY ASHLEY FURNITURE UNTIL THEY MAKE THEIR BUSINESS A QUALITY OVER QUANTITY BUSINESS.

The employees in the store were helpful and the prices are reasonable. However, the delivery people showed up at noon instead of the promised window of 3:00-7:00. They were rude and abrupt. One chair was damaged and the balked about taking it back. We have no idea how long we will wait for the replacement.

Keyen is the kindest, most patient salesperson I’ve ever encountered. We arrived around 8:20pm and they close at 9pm so we knew we were on a time crunch. Keyen helped us pick out a dresser and a couch, provided multiple price breakdowns, and got us checked out by 8:58pm. He wasn’t pushy or rushing us at all. He was extremely efficient and knowledgeable of the store which helped us pick exactly what we wanted! Linda was also very nice doing the final part of the sale. I will definitely be back when I need new furniture!

Ashleys Furniture repair and customer service is horrible. We bought the warranty for our couch that we purchased in October. Not even 6 months later the couch frame and spring broke from regular sitting. I contacted Ashley's (April 13) and they asked to email them pictures. They kept saying they weren't getting them, I sent them as an attachment, pdf, directly in the email and it finally worked via Google drive. They said they emailed it to the service department who then asked me to resend them the pictures again. We scheduled the service and they said the ordered the parts. The parts didn't arrive when they said so I called and it turns out they sent them to the wrong house and the parts were reordered. They were supposed to be delivered the same day as the repair guy was coming - then they day of they had to cancel the repair because the parts were now arriving a date late (5/19). So now it's been a little over a month without a couch to sit on. We go to reschedule and the earliest time was (6/6) 3 weeks later. Now today after waiting at home and taking off work for the 8am to 11am window, I get a call at 10:30am from the repair service saying they can't come and resubmitted the ticket to Ashley's because they only submitted a work order for 1 hr when the couch repair takes 3 hrs. So we STILL don't have a couch to sit on. This is unacceptable and I will not be ordering from Ashley's again and will encourage others not to either.

The staff at Ashley store was very courteous and professional. The sales person took her time to explain everything about the product. There was no selling pressure. We wanted to make some changes to our order and the staff was very helpful in doing so.

The office staff are fantastic. The salespeople are great. The delivery/warehouse staff are rude and thoroughly unprofessional. Luckily the store manager straightened out a delivery issue where the driver of the truck told my husband he was not from Ashley and left without delivery, telling his office we were not home, and then tried to charge us a delivery fee. We had to go back to the store to straighten things out and arrange for a second delivery date. From what I gather, this is a common occurrence.
Salesperson gave different price then online. Went back to talk to him he was not in. They called the manager. He was the most impersonal person I have ever had contact with. If you don’t want to deal with people you may want to get another job
Would leave 0 stars if possible. Sales staff lies to you that they are giving you something for free, only to find out you get the money back in the form of store credit in a few years. Then when furniture arrives half of it is the wrong color because the salesperson put it in wrong. They refuse to do anything to make it right. My options according to them are to wait another month for the correct items or come buy something else which will still take weeks. I'm left with no furniture in the meantime. Also they said it wasn't their fault that they put in the wrong order. Go anywhere but here for furniture.

Horrible cheap furniture. I purchased Ashley Barrali Loveseat - Fog and sofa in 2021. Was backorder and finally delivered 2022. It hasn't lasted a year. There are staples poking out of back, the cushion is filled with disgusting greenish fill that isn't even an actual pillow. Just stuffing in the zippered upholstery. My 9 month old daughter cut herself on the nails poking from back not to mention I emailed the Frederick MD Ashley's and didn't receive a reply about factory defects. I have had far too many issues considering I "believed" Ashley's was high end and im learning that fir the price i should have gone to havertys or lazy boy. I actually bought better make cheaper on warfair. Disappointing and disgusting. I see that the management reply for 5 star reviews. Now let's see if they respond to such egregious errors. I can't have this in my home such costly disappointment

Told sales rep was buying sectional couch for 2nd story of townhouse. Sales department representative told me at purchase that if there was any issues make sure the delivery guys brought furniture back on truck so I could get a FULL refund. Delivery guys show up, boxes never leave the truck because they stated it wouldn’t fit up the stairs. I never had possession of the furniture and now they’re charging me a 30% return fee… for what?

These guys are nothing more than crooks!! We spent over $17,000 In furniture with these guys and everyone from the regional manager, TJ, and their staff have been treating us like trash. They make empty promises, their third party delivery service is rude and unprofessional, and incompetent sales guy. There are better furniture stores out there that treat their customers better and won’t lie to you. Please stay far away from these people
I forgot his name but it was the guy with the Peruvian wife. He was great and helped us out with the entire process. We had a problem at delivery and he made sure to get us a replacement. The reliable customer service is what will break or make any company
I had a quality complaint. They refuse to take action, threatened to call the police if I returned to the store with the merchandise. Had a ssles person pretend to the store manager I have complained to the attorney general this is a culture issue that all employees are involved inBEWARE if something is wrong you are on your own. Hire a lawyer before you do business with them.

BUYER BEWARE! I don’t like to post bad reviews but the experience I had and the lack of accountability from this store requires it. This is not a corporate Ashley location. They are a franchise owned by the same owner as Regency furniture, so Corporate Ashley will do nothing for you if you have issues. After purchasing over 12k worth of furniture and waiting 6 months to receive everything. The coffee table is stained , The bed frame is uneven. The dining room table is missing pieces . Upon calling and being redirected to service center. Extremely rude service by service associate Yancy Salazar , without ever seeing the issues or wanting hear are issues claimed that the bed frame is fine and that is just the way it is. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I would get a call back that never happened. Ashley has a reputation for taking care of its customers and having good customer service which is why I chose to do business with them but now I definitely feel cheated not knowing that this isn’t even really Ashley at all. They will say whatever to make the sale but when there is an issue they will act like you are crazy.
Only reason they are getting 2 stars is because their selection of furniture is decent. Sales Reps - 5 Stars... I've had great experiences with every sales rep I've worked with there. Delivery/Installation/Service - 1 Star... I've never been as disappointed in a store on this front than I have with Ashley. Their 3rd party contractors that they use to install the furniture routinely install products incorrectly, or not sufficient enough (assembled my kitchen table and left without ensuring it was sturdy), and they constantly strip the bolts that they use to secure the furniture so if that they ever need to be disassembled, it's nearly impossible to do so. They delivered and installed my kitchen table on 12/31, I checked it for cosmetic issues, in which there were known, so I signed the papers to acknowledge receipt of delivery and the team left. I realized the next day that the table was not sturdy and likely wasn't tightened enough to secure the table top. I called the store to get someone back out to fix it since they all but stripped the bolts when they installed it (again), and I was told nobody could come out until 1/31. So they sell you a product, they use sub-par 3rd party contractors to come install the products, they don't do it correctly, then it takes them a month or more to come fix it. The only reason I would think to use Ashley is they have visually nice products, and they offer 60 months 0% financing. When purchasing 20k+ worth of furniture, that perk is beneficial. I would not use them if you care about how your furniture is delivered, assembled, or serviced.

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, especially 1 star reviews. The only reason(s) Im leaving a one star review is because I liked our sales lady and it’s the lowest option you can choose. My wife and I bought quite a bit of furniture from the Ashley store in Frederick about 2 months ago. Long story short…..the table we bought started peeling on the top and one of the legs cracked down the middle. We thought no big deal there has to be a warranty. We emailed the pictures and filled out the claim form. They emailed back with “we are denying your claim because it’s cosmetic and you didn’t report this when it was delivered” uhhhhh your correct…it was a couple of months after we received the furniture and I stated that in the email🤷🏼♂️. Last time I checked a cracked leg isn’t cosmetic it’s structural IT HELPS HOLD THE TABLE UP!! Anyway that was the short version. If you can afford it, buy from an Amish furniture store. We went there after all this happened and yes it was freakin expensive but completely worth it. Ashley furniture is the bottom of the barrel

I made the mistake of buying furniture From Ashley Furniture in Frederick. I had to return the Queen Adjustable Base because when it was placed on the bed and the mattress was put on it was so high I could not even attempt to get into my bed. I immediately called to cancel it and have it picked up. I was then charged another $100.00 to have this done and I had 72 hours to get the $100.00 to them if I wanted it removed. When they came to pick up the adjustable base the two guys pointed out to me that the leg on my dresser was cracked and that there was a large spot on the side of the bed that was scraped. They pointed this out before they removed anything so that they would not get the blame for it. The furniture was not cheap when I purchased it and it is of inferior quality and cheaply made.Don't purchase anything from Ashley because they will not give you a refund for the returned merchandise they only want you to take a store credit which I do not want because I will never buy from them again. The furniture is inferior. RUN DON'T WALK RUN from Ashley furniture store.If they were to pick up this furniture they would charge me a pick up fee and then charge me a new delivery fee.

Lakeisha at the Frederick store was very pleasant and helpful with our checkout process. We had some issues with pricing for a split delivery because the night stands we purchased were not in stock, but she was patient, understanding, and very responsive to our concerns. She made the process smooth and we appreciate that! Update: Guess i spoke to soon because She never actually scheduled our delivery although she verbally told us a date. We have been waiting for our bed over 20 days and now will have to wait another week or 2! Unacceptable! Update: After several attempts to get in touch with management and determine a resolution to the mistake Lakesha made,, Brandon, a manager, offered us a 30% discount for future purchases... why would we purchase anything in the future knowing the inadequate work on their part for scheduling deliveries? We were also told that he would be reaching out to the regional department to provide a post sale discount due to the negligence of not scheduling the delivery despite providing us with a delivery date. We have yet to hear anything back from him after multiple calls and even going back into the store to speak with a different manager, Jack. The customer service is frankly non existent. Still no bed has been delivered despite being paid in full, and no discounts or refunds have been provided. I would advise everyone to stay far away from this store!
I visited the Frederick store location recently and was introduced to my sales representative, Aidan. He did an admirable job through the entire buying process. I was virtually uncertain of the exact sofa I wanted but after a walk around the showroom floor and with Aidan searching on the computer, I/we found what we wanted. After several discussions, I finally called Aidan and finalized the purchase. Aidan was professional, knowledgeable, very helpful, and above all he demonstrated extreme patience. I recommend Ashley, and any of their fine employees. Thanks to all of you whom I worked with to make me a very satisfied customer!

I typically do not leave bad reviews. I like to give a business the benefit of the doubt that perhaps if my experience was not the most pleasant it could have just been a bad day at that business. This is the reason why I never left any review from my experience with Ashley furniture in Frederick, MD from March of 2022. Yet it seems at this point that it is necessary, therefore I have no choice but to leave a review in the hopes that I can spare someone else from going through a similar experience. What makes it worst is that I've always believe that Ashley furniture was top notch and so I waited for a sale to go because I knew I wanted to purchase several items. Honestly, from the moment I walked into the store my experience wasn't great. I will admit it was later in the evening but I walked around the store for at least 30 mins before any sales associate acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. I brushed that off and continue with my shopping. During the purchasing process there were many unprofessional things that transpired that once again I brushed off. Though my in person experience was far from what it should of been I again felt I didn't need to leave a bad review. The drama continued when we received our sectional it was very badly damaged in the back. After several phones calls, email exchanges with pictures and sending out a repair person that took one look at the back and said the entire piece needed to be replaced did they put in a request for a replacement. This was a back and forth saga for many months on top of the fact we had yet to receive our bed frame that had been initially ordered back in March. Now lets fast forward to July yes it wasn't until 4 months later that the new sectional got delivered along with the bed frame. When the bed came the delivery people could not assemble the bed because upon assembling they discovered pieces were missing. That's right not only did we have to take down our original bed so that the new one could be assembled, but once the new bed frame was completely out of the box that it was discovered that they couldn't assemble the bed. In turn they had to disassemble what was done repack the bed in the boxes and take it back. We had to then put our old bed back together. At this point my frustration had reached it's limits and I could no longer tolerate this so I called the store and told them I did not want the bed and explained the entire situation to them which I signed, noted a rejection on my receipt and explained that I didn't want be charged for the bed especially since it was their fault. Fast forward to present day and I look on my Ashley account and I was charged $300! This is associated with not accpeting the bed a restocking fee. This makes no sense!! I can accept the fact if I changed my mind and that Ashley held up to their responsibilities and delivered a bed and assembled it accorndingly especially since I had already paid a delivery and assmbly fee. This was Ashley's mistake from the very beginning so to charge the customer for your mistakes is unprofessional. Let's not forget that everytime a delivery was going to take place or a repair person was sent out someone had to be home to answer the door which means rescheduling to accommodate the time block they give you. Considering my entire experience I am beyond shocked that they would even charge me for this! All I can say is BUYER BEWARE! **UPDATE** As of today 11-16-2022 I am happy to report that Ashley furniture corporate office reached out to me and VERY professionally handled my situation. They apologized for my experience and issued me a refund for the additional charges. I will admit after my conversation today I would give Ashley furniture another chance. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars for that reason. Thank you Ashley corporate office for rectifying this situation and potentially gaining a customer back.

He answered all of my questions, then some. It was his responses to my technical questions that sold my husband and I on the sectional we ended up purchasing. We literally just left from our second visit, where we’re looking for a dining set for our home. We found the perfect pieces, and once again we looked for Ignacio and he was right there to help us! Do yourself a favor, RUN. The customer service here is absolutely horrible. Delivery drivers showed up to my house and left without dropping my bed off. Now they’re trying to charge me another $150 for delivery fee and if I want to cancel my order they’re trying to charge me a 30% restocking fee. They are crooks. I’ve been waiting for over 2 months to get a dresser fixed that I bought from them. After you buy the furniture you’re screwed. You better hope everything works out because they source all their deliveries out and the people who fix their furniture is an outside agency. Go to Value City Furniture. They are great. I have had no problems dealing with them. There are not all about money there. I bought a living room set in the recliner was too big to fit. They let me return it. NO RESTOCKING FEE!!! I will never return to Ashley furniture
I have a “fake” wood rectangular table NG in just 4 months, tried to call for warranty to replace and no one was able to help me out to replace it. I’m truly disappointed in the fact I lost my $ to this store. Never again.

How do you walk into a store about to drop $13,000 and not get help? I was judged the moment I walked in. I asked the saleswoman a few questions to re-engage the conversation and it lasted 3 min only to find her texting with all the other sales reps. Awful store. Bri is the best salesperson at Ashley. I am a very picky person and for her to get me to make a quick decision in buying a whole living room set and bedroom set says a lot about her sales skills. We ordered a medium table and chairs from Ashley's. They arrived undamaged but in an ebony color. (Pictures available) We notified the warehouse and the 7th street Ashley's (in person) immediately. We were in compliance with notification of manufactoring defect - wrong color within 72 hours. Request full refund of the purchase price and the $150 penalty fee in lieu of a store credit. Additionally, Ashley's headquarters assigned a pick up date without consulting us on a date we were unavailable and stated that if we were not home we must keep the furniture. Headquarters has inflexible policies and lots of people who say I can't help you.Buyer beware. There are holes in the ceilings at the store.
The best furniture visit ever! Not only was Bri friendly and helpful. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail for my husband and I. Getting the couch of our dreams was so easy and fun ! If you have going here I suggest that you look for Miss Bri! She will take care of you. Danielle processed our order and she was fast and friendly! She explained all the ins and outs of our furniture insurance and made checking out a breeze. Great customer service and will defiantly come back again because of the excellent service I got from Bri and Danielle!
Zero stars. Never purchasing anything from here again. Save your money and purchase from a quality retailer. All my Ashley furniture is trash and they're protection plan is a scam. They do not cover anything!! Do not purchase anything from this company with the insurance they give you that anything that could happen to your furniture will be covered through they're warranty because it will not be.

UPDATE: Came back looking for a recliner and was followed around the store like a hawk… After being shown a couple chairs that weren’t what we were looking for we decided to just keep looking on our own. New sales girl offered to show us some on the computer but we were here to actually sit in something. We went on looking and she came back to us a few minutes later after “watching us not sit in a certain chair” then proceeded to have us check it out multiple times. Kinda pissed us off so we ended up leaving. Found one at another store that didn’t have pushy salespeople. So sad since our last visit was a great experience. First Visit: Was looking for a sectional for our living room checked out a couple places before Ashley Furniture. Should have just came here first! Very clean store, with lots of furniture! So many different sectionals to try. We found one that we loved. One of the sales ladies (Bri) helped us through the process. She was terrific! She truly made the experience so much more enjoyable! Will definitely come back here in the future.

Very poor customer service. Received a phone call stating my check cleared and I could pick up my merchandise. When I arrived they would not give me what I purchased. Said I had to wait and that the call must have been in error. The check did clear on my end. Didn't even get an apology for the error. Very disappointed ☹️ The manager of the store called me after seeing my review and apologized.
Horrible experience!!!! My daughter’s bedroom set was delivered and two of her dresser drawers are broken. Submitted photos and was told someone will get back to me. I’m still waiting? Delivery driver showed up to my house today with a bed that I also bought. They called me and I told them my father would be right there. The driver said that was fine. My dad showed up and they were gone. Driver and the dispatch person were very disrespectful. Very hard to understand them they spoke very little English.

Our sales rep was great. Promised us the world! The day of delivery we found out our bed frame is missing hardware. I had to follow up with AF and their warehouse few times so they can order it. So far, no issues. A week later the hardware arrives. Called the warehouse and requested for an installer to come out. They install was rescheduled for a week away. No issues. I opened the hardware to make sure everything has been delivered. Found out that 4 plates that connect the bed together are missing. Had to call the warehouse again and explain to them what is missing, again. They placed another order for additional missing hardware. The original people that delivered supposedly took notes and pictures of everything that was missing and were going to report it to the warehouse. I guess that never happened. 3 weeks later I am still waiting for parts to arrive so we can put our bed together.

We have never been to an Ashley Furniture store but needed new bedroom furniture. We visited the Frederick location and were so pleased by what we found. Our Sales Associate Liana was phenomenal. She was so helpful in sharing what the store had to offer and got us all set up with great pricing when we made our final decision. Our customer service rep, Danielle, was also a pleasure to work with. Very friendly and helpful. Working with Liana and Danielle was like working with friends I've known forever. A fantastic experience!

I came in today (Memorial Day) and I can't say enough amazing things about Daja! That girl is amazing. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted already. The store was really busy today and short staffed. No one noticed me walking in and wandering around at first. (Which was initially ok because pushy sales people make me so nervous). When I came up to Daja to ask for help at the back desk, she was immediately apologetic and quickly took action. Daja was personable and went above and beyond for me. She was patient with me, and really made sure I understood her answers when I had questions. Daja offered suggestions and alternatives that were so helpful. All while she was multi tasking several other things for different customers and also for staff.. never once did I feel like she was neglecting my needs though while she was already balancing so many other things she needed to also get done. She had a lot on her plate, yet continuously offered excellent customer service.. better customer service than you would expect from someone with half her work load. Whatever she is getting paid, is not enough! I am really appreciative for my experience today, and can't thank Daja enough for that!
I wish I could give them a 0. Run, don't walk AWAY from this store!! The saleswoman incorrectly ordered my very expensive couch and although the store drawing and store model on the floor matched what was SUPPOSED to be ordered, they provided zero compensation for delivering an incomplete product after 4 months of waiting for it. They also never notified me when my couch was ready. I had to pay several hundred additional dollars and wait again in order for my couch to even be useable (including a another shipping fee), I was passed around to more than a handful of different employees and got different answers each time on what would be done to remedy the situation. The end result? Them doing absolutely nothing. Not only were they unhelpful, but I got an attitude from the person who had to order my missing piece as if I was the one inconveniencing them. The atrocity that is their customer service will never make it worth ordering a piece of their furniture.
they had a great sale, but fell way short on delivery. the two front posts for the head board never showed. the lack of communication, the failure to reach out to me and address the issue. failure to properly compensate me for taking a vacation day off for 1/2 the the 2 posts are supposed to be delivered next week. fingers crossed.
seriously having the worst luck with this store. the first delivery date they were a no show and never bothered to call. the second delivery date, they showed up and dropped off the king size bed frame and the head board was missing both posts. fast forward to today, the third delivery date, they delivered the headboard again. still missing the two posts.
Liana and Danielle were kind, and a pleasure to work with. They were knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable asking plenty of questions.
We needed barely an extra inch to get a couch through the basement doorway & couldn’t make it work. I let the salesman convince me they’d make it fit. We finally had to send it back w/ the delivery guys. Ashley charged us a ridiculous 30% restocking fee. I made a mistake in measuring and lost a sizable chunk of my paycheck as a result The office person handling the issue couldn’t even bring herself to make eye contact. We won’t return to this furniture store chain ever again.
Usually walking into a furniture stores someone working the floor will approach you 1~5 mins upon your arrival. Ashley furniture was the opposite. We found a set of furniture we were ready to pull the trigger on and had to walk around the store to find help to find they had 1 person working the floor on the weekend of their Presidents’ Day promotion trying to help 4 groups of customers at once. We left frustrated to REGENCY FURNITURE down the road and so happy we did. Ashley’s furniture bedroom set was superior quality than the one at regency, however We were able to purchase the “Ashley furniture” brand bedroom set we loved at regency furniture and they somehow beat Ashley’s price by nearly $1000 and had 0 sales tax for their promotion. If you like something at Ashley furniture, ORDER IT THROUGH REGENCY AND SAVE TIME AND MONEY.
I have to say after 2 buying experiences at Ashley that we will no longer do business with this company. The quality is most definitely sub-standard. We have had continuous frame issues with our first sofa frame cracking within 1 year, and the second within 6 months. We also had seams coming apart on the cushions on the second sofa within 4 months. To be clear we go “easy” on our furniture without dropping in to it or having kids jump on it, no pets etc. so to say we are disappointed is a complete understatement. And the fact that Ashley said the frame wasn’t covered by the warranty they sold us in addition to the furniture just makes this experience even more lackluster. So if you want to spend 2-3K every couple of years on replacement furniture then this is the place to shop.
Good stock and prices are for the most part easy to find. They had a surprisingly large selection of mattresses including higher quality mattresses like Tempur-Pedic. The man working there that my family member asked questions to was nice enough although I thought it was a bit weird that they didn't do business cards. The place also seemed a little dirty, although not to the extent that I wouldn't go back there. I think for most of the large furniture they won't sell the storefront items anyways(unless they're discontinued).

You only have 72 hour to made a complain and when you call they never pick up or they refuse to give a email. My furniture paint was horrible on my dinning table also they want you to waste a all day for deliver.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They don't care about their customers at all. They make promises they do not keep and then when you complain they tell you it's not their problem....call corporate. When you do call corporate they try to send you back to the store. A horrible company and I will NEVER buy from them again nor would I ever recommend them to any of my friends or patients.
Read the most current reviews before you shop at Ashley's furniture. I have ordered $6,000 worth of furniture on Labor day weekend. I was promised to get it before the end of this year. Now they are saying it's pushed back to March. Even in March they are not sure. REALLY!!! I am business owner too. But this is really a bad business practice. First, you shouldn't lie to get a business. Two, I got your business and money so hell with you now, attitude. Please, like I told the branch manager, change way you do business. Everyone knows, it's time of corona, then adjust business policy accordingly. I am just very upset with Ashley's furniture.

We ordered a sectional in March, 2021 and were told it would take 8-12 weeks for delivery. By August, we heard nothing, so we called the store, and were told we should hear something soon. We didn't. I called again in October, and was told everything was in, however one piece was in a warehouse, somewhere else. Customer service at the Frederick store send they would send an email to check on it. I called back the following day, and no one had any information for us. We almost canceled the order, and I wish we would have at that point. In late October, we received a call saying it would be delivered November 4th. We cleared out our living room in preparation on Nov 1. At 5pm on Nov 3rd, we were told the sofa was damaged and couldn't be delivered. We then said we wanted to cancel the order and receive a refund. Approximately 10 phone calls later, and one trip to the store, we were informed that part of the sectional had been scanned in for delivery, and we couldn't receive a refund until those items made it back to the warehouse. We ended up contacting our credit card company, provided them with the invoice, and played voicemails for a fraud rep. Long story short, that's how we got our money refunded by 11/4/21. We will never purchase anything from Ashley again. Update: Ashley never called to let us know if those items made it back to the warehouse. Today, 12/6/21, Ashley called and informed me that our entire sectional was in the warehouse, ready for delivery now. I told them that I requested the entire order be canceled on 11/3/21. The woman looked at the notes associated with the order then, told me that she was able to see it was canceled, and I could come to the store for a refund anytime now. I feel like someone just played a joke on us, but its real life.
I bought a dresser/night stand set. One drawer on the dresser broke within a month and another drawer won’t close all the way. Been dealing with this since August and keep getting told that someone will contact me, yet no one has. All I want is to exchange the item for one that’s not defective however apparently that’s not an option. I’ve purchased multiple couches and other furniture from this store and this will be the last. I don’t recommend doing business with this company.
If you want to purchase furniture have it come in 6 weeks later than the contract states to then have the moving crew somehow not be able to get it through a 36 in doorway to then have the moving crew send it to a warehouse 2 hours away from your house. Then you call said warehouse and ask them if they will load it into the moving truck you know have to rent to then have them say nope tough luck, which will basically make your life miserable you end up cancelling the order, so yeah if you want the worse customer service experience of your life then go ahead and give them your money to be disappointed
I was at this location yesterday to purchase a sofa. I had went there early in the afternoon and Kyree Hanson assisted me. He was very friendly and greeted me while giving me space to look at options while he checked on availability for me. I left the store empty handed but I call him when I got home with a few questions. He politely responded to me and I informed him that I would think about it. Later in the afternoon, I returned to the store. When I got there he assisted me while assisting another customer. He was basically juggling two customers and answering phones. I had asked why he wasn't wearing a button up shirt, he indicated that one of the staff members which services pick-ups was off and he had picked up the staff members shift. So technically he was working two positions at the time. I am writing this review because while I was there I heard the Sales Manager, Jack Kirkpatrick, yelling at Kyree. I walked closer and gathered that Jack wanted Kyree to place tags on furniture. The manager continued to belittle Kyree while I was standing there with the other customer who he was servicing. It is highly unprofessional to reprimand an employee while he is working and picking up phone calls while trying to complete two sales. In addition, Jack walked over to two other salesperson to inform them of the situation. As a manager, he should NOT be instigating to other employees about the situation. This is not high school and I would like to believe that Ashley HomeStore does not condone this behavior. The two sales person were not busy and did not even try to help answer phones and openly stated "I'm not doing his work for him". In this day an age, team work is the best approach rather than this dog eat dog world mentality. Secondly, as the phones were ringing Jack walked away. He did not even assist in answering phone calls. Nor did he apologize for the situation. Kyree was the one who apologized. In my opinion, Jack should have been professional and rolled up his sleeves to assist rather than barking orders. Customers who are in the store should always be serviced first. All other duties are secondary in my opinion. 5 Stars for Kyree's service 0 Stars for Management
8-12 weeks is a lie (this wasn’t a special order either). Coming up on 20 weeks right now and no one has a clue where our furniture is/what the hold up is and apparently there’s no one within Ashley Furniture anywhere that you can speak with for help. What a joke. You also need to call to get any update on your purchase. They got our $4,000 and that’s all they’ll ever get from us.

Waited months for new living room set to come in and when it finally delivered its damaged and now we're left seating on camping chairs while we wait who knows how long for replacement to come unbelievable

BUYER BEWARE… I walked in to NOT be greeted or even seen by anyone. I wanted to see if this particular bed was on display and to get a price check. I found the item. Still no one in site working. I purposely walked around the entire store to see if someone could help me. Two women were talking loud amongst themselves at the customer service desk. I passed two women (that o realized later that they worked there) in the middle of the floor and they just stared and watch me go by. A white couple walked in and was immediately greeted and serviced. I intentionally walked around the entire showroom one more time (stopped to price check on my phone, touch items, etc) still no one in site! As I made my way to the door the white couple was leaving and the workers acknowledged them. Once I left out the front I purposely walked passed all 4 works sitting at the computer and table on their phones like no customers were ever in the store. The guy that helped the couple just say there on his phone after they walked out and I was passing by. I was a ghost. I didn’t exist. If I was a thief I could’ve pull a truck up and loaded it myself! They would’ve never said a word or acted like they cared to see anything happen. This is my first time in this store and it gave me horrible, racial vibes. I will make sure to let my friends/neighbors know to go to a different location because this one sucks!
If there was a 0 satisfactory score I would use it! With the limited availability of furniture I went on the word of the sales person when I ordered a dresser and nightstand for my daughter. I opted to pick it up at the store to avoid extra cost, still paid $40 for it to go to the store. We were told it may just need some hardware on it and that would be it. My total was almost $700 for a dresser and night stand. It came in and it was to be assembled furniture. My husband took it. But they want a signature that it was in acceptable condition. Since it was 96° and he works outside all day he said he wouldn’t pull the boxes apart to look at each piece and he would only sign that he was picking it up. They gave him a copy. As soon as he got home we opened the boxes and of course they were damage because the quality ranked with pressed particle board furniture like Walmart! I’ve had better luck with Walmart personally. Since I refused to have them reorder one (because it wasn’t what I was told I was buying), I paid a 30% restocking fee? Wth for? I don’t know because no one would buy it, it was damaged!!!!! So I am out $180 because they don’t train their sales people on what they are selling. And as soon as I said I didn’t want to reorder the exact same thing the manager became extremely rude. Don’t ever shop at Ashley’s!
I'm confused as to how you can advertise a new huge sale when the items I purchased from the last huge sale are no where to be found yet?! I understand that things are backed up but shouldn't it be best practice to fill your existing orders first?!
I bought a reclining sofa for $2,000.00. It was delivered on May 1, 2021. The delivery men put a big hole in my entrance wall. We called and went into the store and Linda Green took picture of damages and sent to the delivery co. The store manager was NO help. It is August and still NO ONE has contacted us. I will be sure to tell everyone I know to NEVER buy anything from ASHLEY FURNITURE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DELT WITH!!!
I was sent to this store to get an item and the guy there, I don't know his name but he had dreads and was African American . But he did tell us his name was Jay keep in mind he was the only African American that was there at the store working. He helped us out but said that they didn't have the item I was looking for. Then he told us to go an hour and thirty minutes away to another Ashley store in Falls Church VA telling us they had two of the items I was looking for in stock. He wrote us a card with all the managers names at the other store and everything on that card. We drove an hour and thirty minutes to the other store and when we got there and asked them, they said they didn't have the item I was looking for. I showed them the card that the guy wrote for me and they called the Frederick MD store and asked them to talk to the man that gave us the card and lied to us saying that the store had the item. Then when the manager called the Frederick store, the other employees lied saying that they didn't have anyone that worked there that fit the description of the man that helped us. They also said that they didn't have a man that worked there named Jay. Ashley Ashley ASHLEY fix your system and your employees I have never seen a disorganized company like yours. Maybe employees are confused and don't know anything about their Job. Never coming to any of your stores again including Regency, Marlo and Ashley. To anyone reading do waste your time going to these stores go on Amazon you'll have a better experience with everything.

No one welcome us or asking to help. We left. One helper was at a desk, i walk right by,the lady was by the door was on the phone with her dog , another young man just standing near the lady talking to the dog. They were at the front door. I would say bad service.
Order somewhere else! I ordered furniture back in April and still have no furniture! They have pushed back the delivery 4 times and at this point has forced my family into a bad spot to host out of town family with foldout lawn chairs and boxes for tables to eat at since this place can't seem to keep their promises. Trust me don't shop here unless you want to be screwed over. NOT HAPPY!!!!
Don’t waste your time to visit this location. Their manager has no customer service skills and very disrespectful to customers. I was buying two queen size beds. Price came down to 3200 dollars. When I declined warranty coverage, he raised the price by 200 dollars to pressure me to accept warranty. He claimed price is still the same but could not explain why price with warranty was 3,200 and price without warranty was 3400 dollars.
My story: placed an order on the Ashley website and this is the store that was.picked to fulfill the order. The date is CONSTANTLY GETTING pushed back over and over. I placed the order on April 8th 2021, and the date has gotten pushed all the way to July 3rd. I'm wondering if I will ever get the furniture I ordered. The only response.i got when calling the main Ashley furniture line is that the store doesn't have the item I ordered.in stock. Well this seems very odd to me as it's been 2 months since I ordered the couches. Edit: So it came in about 4 months after I ordered them. But the quality of the sofas and the service was amazing. I didn't pay for the delivery to come in side the house and assembly, but they carried it into the house for us making life easier on me and my wife. Although it was a long wait, I think it was worth it. We're super happy with the couches and I'm changing my review to 4 stars.
Bought 2 sofas from Ashley. Jeremy was our sales rep and he was very patient as we looked at and sat on many sofa's until we found the one for us. He was wonderful through the entire process and we would recommend him without hesitation. With his help, we were fortunate to locate sofas they had in stock and got them delivered in 2 weeks. No small feat during Covid delivery delays. They delivered on the date they gave us and the delivery guys were very professional and courteous.
My boyfriend and I were in Ashley Furniture Frederick this weekend and had such a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to be helped by Marty who was patient, kind, and seemed to have our best interest at heart. Not only was Marty great, but the women working in the office were kind and supportive as well. We are eager to receive our furniture when it comes in.
Terrible furniture that last but a year. Save your money. It looks nice and is affordable but it isnt quality stuff.
We bought several rooms of furniture yesterday and had the best customer service I have had in years. Maria was amazing, I never felt rushed and I felt like she really cared. We would have been in there forever without her help and design skills. Super excited about our purchases. Anti was awesome with helping us with financing and delivery. Two great women one great experience.

the store was great - BUT do NOT purchase anything from ASHLEY!!! The customer service is the WORST!!! I have a table which was delivered over a year ago, but had missing parts (not little parts, supporting structural parts which give the table stability)....they did come once (after over 6 months) to fix the table & a leg which broke on one of the chairs - but I was told by the repair guy ASHLEY did not order the correct parts, and he could not fix the table or the chair -- so here we wait again!!! I have asked ASHLEY to replace the table & chair - they said NO, asked for a refund (I will return it all)- they said NO...I asked to speak to a manager one several occasions - this didn't happen either....I contacted the corporate office for Ashley, but in my state (MARYLAND) ASHLEY stores are franchises, and corporate is unable to assist me....I do not know where to go to get this resolved.....ASHLEY SHOULD replace or refund -- PLEASE!!!! if I could give the ASHLEY company zero stars -- or even negative ratings - I WOULD!!! do not buy from them!!!! there are so many other furniture companies out there - find one who cares about quality and customer satisfaction....this is just not right....

The past two visits have been a great experience. Cameron was friendly, helpful , knowledgeable and not too pushy with purchasing. After receiving some furniture, I had a few billing questions- went to store and was helped by Larry. Larry was also very helpful and patient. I would have given 5 stars but the delivery company used is absolutely terrible. The delivery guys got grease on our walls and felt the need not to say anything. When asked they just laughed. Guys also had a terrible attitude when asked to tighten drawer handles, ended up refusing piece due to damage and driver started slamming things
I would show zero stars if I could. Terrible experience! Do not shop there, they lie to your face about the services and options you have and then do not follow through. Furthermore, they do not follow Covid-19 protocols. I bought a mattress and was told that delivery/pickup was available for extra fee - they delivered the new mattress and refused to take away the old one. The salesperson did not offer any sort of protection on the mattress there to lay down on or test them and there were no visible covers/protective items to use. I was told I would be taken care of if any issues arose in terms of comfort...that is also a lie...now I have a mattress that is uncomfortable and horrible and they refuse to stand by their word. BEWARE and DO NOT Shop here...you will be sorry!
Oh, if I could only give zero stars...buyer beware...worst customer service! We bought a complete bedroom suite at the beginning of February. It was delivered today, and the delivery men assembled the bed frame incorrectly. They screwed the left brackets on the right and the left brackets on the right side of the bed frame. Unfortunately, we did not notice the mistake until one of the storage drawers under the bed was unable to open. When contacting the Frederick location where I purchased the set, they did ZERO to rectify the situation. Continued to say, "I don't know, all we can do is send an email." They told us not to try to reassemble ourselves, but to let their service department handle. Unfortunately, they were unable to give us any idea on the turnaround time for a service technician to fix. On top of their aloofness, Linda the office manager had an extremely poor attitude and refused to escalate the situation. The furniture is beautiful and seems to be quality mad; just bad, bad, bad customer service!

I purchased a Couch and love seat from Ashley furniture less than a year ago with the warranty. Before the year was out, there were staples punching through the fabric, the seams on the cushions began to fray and come apart and the sofas began to sink in. I have had to put several pillows under the cushions so that we do not sink into the sofa. I contacted the store in November. Vandelyn (Van) Clark, Customer Service advised me to take pictures and send to the warranty department and copy her on the issues. I did this a patiently waited for a response. I never received a response. I have contacted both Van an the warranty service several times to try to get help with the issues. Van has contacted the warranty department as well as her supervisors and we still have not been contacted by the warranty department to get the damage fixed, replaced or refunded. After doing this for the past few months, I am frustrated and disappointed in the quality of the furniture and the lack of response. I do not recommend buying furniture from this company instead go to another place with better customer service and products that hold up. I am not able to purchase new furniture yearly and should not have to. I expected the company top fix, replace or refund the money we paid. I now plan to also report this to the better business bureau as well.

Some of the display furniture has knicks and makes me wonder how long it would last. Quality is paramount. If a piece is not going to last at least a decade, I hesitate to spend money.
I had a very good experience with Seth this past Saturday. Honestly I typically hate shopping for furniture because I feel like the sales people can be a bit overly helpful and don't read the customer's cues. Seth found a great balance of asking questions and checking back but allowed me to browse. In the end I selected and purchased the right bedroom set and mattress for me.

Quality of the furniture is excellence. Availability and staffs inability to give me any reasonable explanation of delay in delivery schedule is the reason for missing stars. Understand Covid delays but its been almost 4 months and my order hasn't been completed. Given an expected date that would have make it close to 5 stars. This has definitely impacted the chances i come back to ashley for my furniture needs.
Kyree and Anit were absolutely AMAZING! Kyree was able to find me a sofa, loveseat, table, and chair that could get to my home in a quick timeframe. When there was an issue with the delivery team, Kyree and Anit helped me quickly resolve all of the issues, stress-free. Thank you so much!
Buyer beware! Don’t get sucked in to thinking 65% off is a good deal. The mark-ups are so high that I found my exact same piece of furniture at another Ashley store for $70 less despite the Frederick store’s “sale price”. And the kicker is that there are no cash refunds, just store credit.
** Buyer Beware ** We have ordered from this Ashley store with relatively good experiences until today. After waiting weeks for our new sofa, the delivery crew attempted to deliver today, but after a half hearted attempt at getting the sofa through the door, they gave up. We have never had any issues getting furniture in or out of our house, until today, even after we took a similar sized sofa out in preparation for this delivery. Everything went back and we were told to go to the store for a refund. Of course the delivery crew drove off without replacing the door they took off. When we got to the store we were told we had to wait for the delivery crew to check the items back into the warehouse. When asked what happens if they didn't, we were assured they would and our inconvenience (no living room furniture for now) was ok because that's "company policy". So essentially Ashley furniture doesn't have a good customer satisfaction policy once you order your furniture. Also, they kept the pre-paid tax we paid as a re-stocking fee for the return. Not sure how it is legal to collect funds as a tax and then decide later to use it towards something else.
HA. If I it could give negative stars I would. This location and their store manager ELIZABETH are a complete joke. This so called manager also hung up on me as well because she didn’t want to hear me be rightfully upset. Avoid this store & company at all cost! Not worth the lies and the hassle you’ll go through with them. Elizabeth, you need to find a new career.

Absolutely terrible customer service. We ordered furniture in early October and were told it would be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. Just called for an update and now they are saying it won't arrive until February of 2021! This person I spoke to was extremely rude and kept telling me that I agreed to a 12 week delivery time frame, which it didn't occur to me at the time, but February is beyond a 12 week delivery time frame. When I hung up upset and realized that, I called back and now they will not answer the phone. I've called several times and it just rings and rings. I also mentioned that I would want to cancel the order if it was going to be that far out and was told that there would be a cancellation charge if I did so! Would not recommend this company to anyone.
We ordered a sofa with chaise back in July. July 15th. We understand with corona things are taking a bit longer. We were told 8-12 weeks. We went into the store to check on delivery, 2 Weeks ago and they said the end of November. It’s been longer than twelve weeks. He holidays are coming and we’ve been more than patient. We were charged immediately, but no one seems to care if or when you get your item. Very frustrating, since we’ve loved Ashley in the past.
The delivery date kept getting pushed off they cannot provide even an approximated delivery date complete fault of their own. Sales people tell you usually arrives in 2 to 4 weeks, we guarantee 6 weeks. Well 6 weeks turn to 8 weeks to more so we asked for our money back. They charged us 10% restocking fee for stock they dont even have nor have any idea about receiving? Do not buy from here unless it is off the floor.

***PLEASE READ, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE***I had been putting off writing this review until all ongoing issues had been resolved, but I'm beginning to believe this will go on forever. I know furniture inventory is very light at this time due to Covid-19, but I assure you there is far better places to give your business. Dealing with Ashley Home Store is not just a bad experience; it is physically and mentally exhausting. It is by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had dealing with customer service. The quality of service you can expect from Ashley Home Store is that of Spirit Airlines, Comcast, and The Weinstein Company. You would be better off buying furniture out of the back of a truck, from a crackhead behind a Wendy's. Please do not believe the positive reviews on Yelp and Google, the majority of them are made before the purchaser receives any of their ordered items. This is because they ask you to leave a review right after you make the purchase. They give you a card with the name of the sales clerk and ask you to leave a good review. I almost fell for this myself as the customer service up to that point was relatively good. I genuinely found the team members to be friendly and helpful, because they are, up until they swipe your card. Around late July I purchased roughly $3600 worth of items including a king mattress and bedroom set. The mattress was recommended by everyone's favorite sales representative Cameron. It was a floor item, but I was assured it was sealed and had no damaged whatsoever. Due to it being a floor item, it could not be sent to me with the rest of my order. A few weeks later, I returned with trailer to pick up the mattress. Upon receiving the mattress the bag was visibly wet. To this, I was assured it was completely sealed, and there was a small leak in the warehouse. I was told the mattress was moved immediately, and had suffered no damage. Upon retuning home close to an hour away and unpacking the mattress, I noticed a massive stain on it. I called Ashley the next day as soon as they opened and was told I would be called back later that day. I was called back and told I would get a measly $100 gift card for my trouble. What followed was close to six total calls spanning over 3 days. I was told to contact corporate. Corporate said it was my fault for not noticing the damage when it was picked up and I needed to call the store...that's not an exaggeration either they really told me that. It was an absolute joke. I was finally told days later if I brought back the king sized mattress to the store, close to an hour away, I could be refunded.... Naturally I said no. The installation crew was unable to put the legs on the dresser, as the screws were completely wrong. Two of the drawers on the chest were extremely wobbly and would pop back out when pushed all the way in. I have gotten higher quality furniture from Facebook Marketplace. At this point I had to once again contact Ashley. I was instructed to send pictures of the damage and issues and put a note explaining the problems on the release form. This was on a Tuesday, 3 days later I was called by customer service and was told the screws would be sent to me in.....7-10 business days . Once I have received the screws, I am to call them back and set up an appointment with a technician. The technician will then come and install the screws and "take a look" at the damaged chest. I was given no estimated timeframe on how long I would have to wait for a technician to come.Once again, it was my hope to wait until this whole nightmare had concluded before posting this but with so many people buying new homes and furniture I felt it only right to warm people before they spend there hard earned money at that absolute travesty of an establishment. I will be sure to update my review when this whole situation has reached its conclusion. Therefore, I wouldn't hold your breath....
***PLEASE READ, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE***I had been putting off writing this review until all ongoing issues had been resolved, but I&'m beginning to believe this will go on forever. I know furniture inventory is very light at this time due to Covid-19, but I assure you there is far better places to give your business. Dealing with Ashley Home Store is not just a bad experience; it is physically and mentally exhausting. It is by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had dealing with customer service. The quality of service you can expect from Ashley Home Store is that of Spirit Airlines, Comcast, and The Weinstein Company. You would be better off buying furniture out of the back of a truck, from a crackhead behind a Wendy&'s. Please do not believe the positive reviews on Yelp and Google, the majority of them are made before the purchaser receives any of their ordered items. This is because they ask you to leave a review right after you make the purchase. They give you a card with the name of the sales clerk and ask you to leave a good review. I almost fell for this myself as the customer service up to that point was relatively good. I genuinely found the team members to be friendly and helpful, because they are, up until they swipe your card. Around late July I purchased roughly $3600 worth of items including a king mattress and bedroom set. The mattress was recommended by everyone&'s favorite sales representative Cameron. It was a floor item, but I was assured it was sealed and had no damaged whatsoever. Due to it being a floor item, it could not be sent to me with the rest of my order. A few weeks later, I returned with trailer to pick up the mattress. Upon receiving the mattress the bag was visibly wet. To this, I was assured it was completely sealed, and there was a small leak in the warehouse. I was told the mattress was moved immediately, and had suffered no damage. Upon retuning home close to an hour away and unpacking the mattress, I noticed a massive stain on it. I called Ashley the next day as soon as they opened and was told I would be called back later that day. I was called back and told I would get a measly $100 gift card for my trouble. What followed was close to six total calls spanning over 3 days. I was told to contact corporate. Corporate said it was my fault for not noticing the damage when it was picked up and I needed to call the store...that&'s not an exaggeration either they really told me that. It was an absolute joke. I was finally told days later if I brought back the king sized mattress to the store, close to an hour away, I could be refunded.... Naturally I said no. On Thursday of this week I went into the store after searching around at some other places first that all told me they couldn't get me something till 2 months away or what they did have wasn't what I was looking for or they wouldn't deliver it, but when I came in I was helped out by Kyree to find the perfect sofa for me and at the best delivery time. In would also like to thank Anit because she made the purchase part of it very easy as well.
We bought a small item for $160 one evening. Brought it back first thing in the morning to exchange for a different color. We were told their is nothing they can do and to call corporate. Called corporate and they said no exchanges is a hard policy for the company and no exceptions can be made. We spent $2200 a few weeks ago. Good thing for us we learned that Ashley has zero customer service on an small sale and not a bigger ticket item. I can’t imagine how upset I would be if I spent thousands. We gave them 4 opportunities to help us and all 4 times they chose to lose a customer for life over a few dollars. They can keep the $80 profit they made on the sale. It will cost them forever on our lost business. Also they never shared this policy before the sale. Only afterwards.
I purchased a floor model, I am aware of all sales final for floor model, so I carefully inspected before leaving, no damage. It arrived with the back of the frame broken. I called in which I was told it was a floor model and sold as is. My issue was it wasn’t broke when I saw it at the store. So I took the bottom off to inspect and where the wood is broken it’s because the wood used had a huge knot it and should not have been used to build furniture with. They have done nothing to try and resolve this.
If you want to deal with incompetency and liars then this is the place to shop. I can take you through an awful post purchase experience that&'s still continuing a month after purchase if you would like. But I think it&'s best summed up that the employees don&'t actually know the features of the products they sell or put in orders for, they don&'t send your info to their insurance partner in a timely manner (yet to get a full refund you can&'t even see if you like the furniture you bought since you have to cancel three days after order, this is mass produced stuff, not custom orders), and by timely manner I mean within two months.

Take your money elsewhere to a business who sees you and engages you. No one spoke to me the whole time I wandered around and unbeknownst to them I was ready to buy on the spot! Not helpful and would not price match like they claim, after we already purchased a piece of furniture. The price was a $355 difference from their Ashley Furniture website to this Ashley Home Store location. We canceled our order because of the lack of help or explanation to their reason to not price match their own prices.

He occasionally checked in on us to make sure we were good. Transaction was one of the easier purchases I've ever made. He turned us over to Ms. Van for final processing and she was just as pleasant. Will definitely be coming back here for future household items. Service at its finest!!!

My girlfriend went in last week looking for things for her room. She complained to me that it smelled like smoke, which bothers her asthma, and there were no safety precautions in place for the customers or the employees. She says that there are some really cute things there, but she isn't stepping foot in the store until the smell and safety measures are implemented.
I was there with family a few days ago and the store reeked of smoke like someone was in the store smoking and I noticed there really isn’t anything protecting your staff as well as the customers. I would go back, but I really think with this pandemic going on the safety of your employees and customers need to be reevaluated

Plenty of furniture to chose from, good quality, sales people are helpful. One thing I have never been happy about (used them several times) there is always a backorder or delay with the order.
I worked with Cameron and Van. Both of them provided me a great shopping experience. Cameron took time with me as I decide on the bedroom set. I ended up selecting the Coralayne bedroom set. He worked with me to make sure that I stayed in my budget. Van handled the paperwork process and did an exceptional job of working with me through the process. She even shared the 5-year warranty that I ended up adding. Both Cameron and Van were helpful, kind, patient, and professional. I receive my bedroom set in two - six weeks so I will provide an update more than likely.
My wife and I were just in the Gaithersburg store and Elaina V. worked tirelessly in helping us select a chair. Even though this was going to be a small sale, she gave us her full attention. We can't say enough about her professionalism and her desire to please.We certainly will return and make Ashley our go to spot when we need furniture in the future!
I went in for a Mattress and one sales person passed me up I almost left the store, but then a wonderful young man named Kyree approached me and stayed with me until I was satisfied with my selection. He answered my questions and demonstrated the differences for me. I felt heard, welcomed and satisfied. Once satisfied with my selection he escorted me over to the sales counter and introduced me to Ms. Van, she was gracious and helpful too, I will truly be returning to Ashley Furniture Store, SOON.

Ashley's saved us after we went to Wolf's Furniture and had a nightmare experience. We explained the story of our unfortunates to the manager that helped us complete a sale (had came in earlier and set up a backup plan couch from salesman John who was off, highly recommended!) Of a couch and he said he'd do everything he could to get us the couch ASAP as we had already waited for one from Wolf's for 3 months! He quoted us a 3-6 week wait and said he'd try to get it to us within the first 3 weeks. 3 days later we got the call that our couch was ready for delivery!! They also worked with us on the purchase of a picture we saw and loved because of our ordeal! Thank you Ashley's for putting customer satisfaction first and seeing it through!

The over aggressive salesman must have thought I was uneducated. The sectional I was interested in was on sale for $1625 online. He told me the price would be $2000 plus shipping and setup. When I mentioned the online$, he acted like he didn’t know they even had a website! Told the sales to give your best $ and I would pay cash on the spot for a good deal. Went to discuss with management, 30 mins. Later , said they would honor the online $. Pound sand you morons!!$

My husband and I shopped at Ashley Furniture in Frederick today and bought a sofa. We went to several furniture stores as well as visited a couple of stores on line. My far Ashley had the better furniture of any place we visited. The sales associate, Maria, was very knowledgeable about the type of sofa we were interested in and showed us a good variety. We left to go to look in other stores but returned to buy one of their sofas. There was no comparison. Maria did her magic and took us to customer service. Our customer service rep was Juanita who was just as knowledgeable about her job as Maria was hers. Juanita told us about what we needed to know from delivery time frame to cost to warranty information. Both were very kind and personable and the time frame they spent with us was not rushed. We will not hesitate to shop at Ashley Furniture again.

The attention and assistance provided by "SOLA" (Sales Associate ) was extraordinary. Sola was focused and dedicated to ensuring that I was successful in my mission. In addition to finding and procuring the items that I sought, Sola contributed greatly to resolving other decorating initiatives. The entire visit was rounded off by the professional and courteous manner in which "VAN" closed out the transaction. I was moving and got lucky with a really good fall sale. I ordered a sofa, love seat, and 3 piece table set. I&'m perfectly happy with the sofa and love seat... don&'t love the tables but that&'s not the store&'s fault. What is the stores fault is that I paid for delivery which was supposed to be 2-6 weeks after ordering. Everything was delivered late. I would have rathered just pick everything up myself. I wouldn&'t suggest buying anything here unless it is already in stock, or you don&'t need it in the near future.
Purchased a console bar from this location on Sunday, Feb 23, 2020. We selected to pick it up from the warehouse. We were told the warehouse is open every day but Sunday. Luckily, we lost the warehouse address they gave us and had to call before going on Monday because it turns out the warehouse was closed on Monday. Finally we pick up and bring home the product on Tuesday but in putting it together we realized that one of the pieces was not cut properly making it impossible to assemble. Contacted the store and the only option they have is for us to bring the piece in for them to assemble. Will update this review once we have tried that..

When I bought furniture for my bedroom bellow was a very good sales man. He was there for my entire process and not pushy. Then when it came time to check out Juanita was amazing and looked like she knew what she was going as well as being extremely nice toward me.

Went to the store looking for a particular type of chair. Mike was the repre-sentative that was helpful in finding what I was looking for. He gave me the information that I needed and was helpful and patient! I told him that I had to think about it and that I would be back. Unfortunately, Mike was not working when I went to purchase the chair that he helped me find. Cameron helped me with the purchase and explained the delivery and warranty in detail again and got me setup with the purchase. Cameron was not pushy and was gracious when I told him that I wanted Mike to also receive credit for the sale. Good experience with both gentlemen and would deal again with either of them. Bought Living Room 3 piece sofa. Store experience was good but delivery man deliberately delivered bad 3 seat sofa. On my wife's concern he said the wrinkles will go away in a week. Believed him and then nightmares started. CS keeps on saying "You accepted so its yours...they only can fix and cant replace! But its a brand new sofa. They sent technician twice (who comes once every 2 weeks). Both times technician felt that this sofa will have to be replaced..but then Customer service changes story and says No it can be fixed. Now they are sending technician 3rd time. Meanwhile they even said we will send you fabric & you replace yourself? How in the world they expect me to do this. I even bought extended service plan for $499 its such a rip-of place . Never ever go here. The worst customer service in past 30 years.

My husband and I were looking for a recliner/rocker we have shopped at Ashley’s before but the closest is about 30 min away from us. Well worth the travel. We walked in and were greeted by a couple of sales people. super nice great personalities. We chuckled talked about a statement piece that they had and then was asked what we were there to look for today. Michael was our salesman and he was great! He directed us to the recliners and didn’t breath down our necks to hound us. He magically appeared when we had a question and was able to answer those questions. We did not feel pressured nor did we feel like we were ‘just a sale’ he was great! He obviously knew what he was doing! Here found out that this was his first day (with Ashley). They have a keeper. Then when it was time to check out Juanita assisted in making the process a smooth and simple one. She was able to get all information we needed about check out and our financing and our credit terms. She was awesome. Thanks for making our purchase a simple one!
We had a great experience at Ashley furniture on getting get deals on 2 recliners received them are very happy with them. The employee Cameron was very helpful with the purchase and the employee Juanita was also helpful with the final paperwork. We will shop there again.
My husband and I visited the Ashley HomeStore for the first time on Saturday, February 8th and had a wonderful experience. We had a wonderful Sales Associate named Kyree greet us as we entered the store. We were shopping for a new sectional for our family room and he guided us where to browse in the showroom. He left us to browse on our own and would check on us from time to time always helpful. We ended up purchasing a sectional as well as an area rug which we bought off the floor and they discounted even more. We decided to do the financing through Ashley which is interest free for 2 years and only took minutes to be approved. During the check out process, Louise was our customer service representative who was also very pleasant and thorough making it a speedy process. Now we await our furniture to be delivered with free shipping in just 2 weeks. I would definitely go back to Ashley again for future purchases.
My sales associate John was very, very helpful! He was very honest and really helped me make the best decision about my purchase. Thank you John! Louise, my CSR, was obviously having a bad day disnt even acknowledge me, I was standing right there and she was asking John questions that should have been directed to me. She then put the paper on the counter and just told me to sign here and here without explanation. I had to ask John what I was signing and he then asked her the same. She was complaining about things that I shouldn&'t know about as a customer. John gets a 5! Louise gets a 3 and that&'s just because she finally smiled at the end.

The whole experience was wonderful from the moment that we walked in. The management team is exceptional and everyone team member in the store are very friendly. The delivery crew were very professional and man does it look great in the house.

Ordered the first week of January with a deadline of February 15th. Were promised most of our items were in stock and everything would be in on January 22nd. They call us January 30th to tell us only ONE item was in stock and they would miss our delivery deadline. The floor manager on duty said he would be right back to talk to my husband about it, then wandered off and didn't return. Finally the store manager talked to him and promised to pull from "other wearhouses" and that our deadline would be met. Will update when that does or doesn't happen.
Went into Ashley home store because we saw they were having a big sale. Went into to look for a bar console and a tv stand with fireplace. When we 1st walked in Maria T. Greated us and explained the sale to us. She she not pushy and let us walk the store. When we found a couple items we liked she got us pricing. We decided to go ahead with our purchase. Anit was also very kind during the finance process and final papers send off. Ended up with a bar console, a bedroom set and a beautiful butterfly picture. We bought our couch before Thanksgiving last year. We had been looking for a couch for more than a year. The design or the price wouldn&'t work. We needed something for Thanksgiving as we had guests coming over. If it weren&'t for Logan, our sales associate we wouldn&'t have found our couch. He perfectly understood and matched our choice with an available couch in their store within minutes. Logan and Louise together worked with us for the price and helped make us get the perfect couch we love.

Went into Ashley on two separate occasions this week to purchase 2 living room sets. Jacob was FANTASTIC to deal with, was fast to respond, worked with the Manager to get the best deal possible, and was not pushy at all! Was very impressed with the quality of the furniture and you just can't beat the deals they give you. The checkout procedure was so quick? I would give 0 stars but it will not let me! We purchased a fabric sectional less than 1 year ago, and the fabric is pilling like an old sweater! We do not have small children or pets. After several emails and 7 phone calls, they will NOT do anything about it! No replacement, no refund, no store credit - NOTHING, and told me to purchase a sweater shaver!!! When I asked for the President/Owner of the company, the manager did not have that information. That is BS! We will NEVER shop there again!!!

If you do this, make sure you are prepared to make all the payments before the 18-month term ends. If you don&'t, you will have to pay ALL the deferred interest charges! That can amount to hundreds of dollars!!We received the delivery call sooner than quoted and the couch arrived quickly thereafter. The installers were quick and professional. They were careful to avoid dinging my walls and doorways. When the assembly was complete, they provided a quick tutorial on the power adjustment features. Kyree and Logan were both very helpful, kind and patient. One of the best things I liked about this store is the sales associates are very informative and available when needed. I was looking for the perfect living room furniture for a new home purchase, and I was exhausted from all the online searching and store visits. I just happened upon the Ashley location in Frederick, and took a shot. Turned out to be the best move ever! Cameron greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in the door, but didn't apply any pressure or follow me around the store trying to "sell" me. When I had a question about a few pieces, he was very helpful and offered to get me the best deal he could to fit my budget. With Cameron's help, I ended up not only finding the sofa I wanted, but I was able to find pieces for a bedroom and dining room too! When it was time to do the paper work, my customer service rep, Anit, was amazing in making sure all my items, pricing, and delivery were correct. She even made sure the pictured items matched what I bought. Overall, it was a great buying experience, and I got much more than I bargained for. From now on, I'll start all my furniture shopping at this Ashley location.

I just recently bought a new couch and mattress from Ashley on 7th st and had the pleasure of working with Logan (my sales associate) and Anit (my customer service rep). It was a really pleasant experience shopping there and I did not feel hassled, but could always find Logan when I needed his assistance. After Logan helped me pick out the perfect couch and mattress, Anit was a delight to work with over in financing and she truly made the process a breeze. I would not hesitate to buy from Ashley again, and I will definitely recommend it to others.

I had problems with ordering a Sofa and Arm Chair set online so I came to the Home Store to buy it in person. Even though the store did not have the Sofa set I wanted in store, Maria, a sales associate, ordered it for me from Ashley's warehouse. She even got the store owner to marked down the price to match the low online price! The Customer service rep, Juanita was explained the develop and warehouse shipping process and was overall helpful throughout the process.
Went in to look for a bunk bed and 2 leather sofas. David, our salesperson, was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Anit, who processed our order was fun and friendly while making sure all the order details were correct. Great overall experience!

We dealt with Sales Associate Kyree who was very patient, helpful, informative, kind and got us the best deal. He helped us find the right furniture to suit our needs and readily answered our questions. We will definitely deal with him again the next time we have furniture needs. When it came time to check out and setup the delivery the Customer Service Rep Louise was just as polite, helpful and courteous! A wonderful furniture buying experience all around!
Went in to purchase a dinning room table the gentlemen that helped me was nice (but I hate how they are sharks at the door waiting for you ). He told me how they were having a "great sale" 60% off, mind you the same table was online for the 60% off price, but I was told that if I ordered online I would have to pay $150 for delivery. At the store they charge $70 for delivery or you can pay $20 to pick it up yourself. I ordered a table and asked how long I had to change my mind. 72 hours which seemed fine. I ended up finding a table later the same day, so I called to cancel my order and they said I had to come into the store to cancel it. "They aren't allowed to type in my credit card number it would be fraud". Somehow I am sure if I wanted to add to my order I would be able to do that over the phone. I will never shop their again!

Bought a recliner for a Christmas gift. I was told every week for four weeks that it was coming the following week. A few days before Christmas I was told that they messed up the invoice and it would be a another 3-4 weeks. I was told I could come in and pick up the one on the sales floor. Great, so I show up the following day after paying someone with a truck to meet me there and the chair had already been sold off of the sales floor. The worst part is the manager who saw that I was upset just disappeared. He didn’t say a word to me. So after four weeks they can’t even tell me when I can expect my chair to show up.

David was understanding and very knowledgeable of how to find a new sofa that fits in my tight space stair case. Did not rush me in any way to buy a product and let me take my time. Van helped expedite and get me on my way flawlessly when I was ready to make the purchase. Highly recommend the staff and location!
DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!! My items all arrived damaged. One was missing pieces and the assemblers put it together wrong. They drilled holes where they should be. They also left a mess after they removed the items and left. I want to cancel and they still want to charge me a 30% restocking fee. What will they restock! It&'s all junk. I don&'t want to risk taking another day off of work to have the same thing happen. The store said they would send a new team and &"most of them are good&". I don&'t want to take that risk. Also, everyone I had contact with from purchase through this issue lied or misinformed me about one thing or another. I called corporate and have to wait 24-48 hours for a response. My husband called back to check on it and they hung up on him. I found out too late that there is even a FB group for what crooks the stores are and to not buy from them.

I will never purchase from here again. My husband an I purchase a mattress from them an the delivery guys who brought it to our home was very rude an disrespectful. They also broke something in my home while they were bringing in the mattress an it didn’t seem to either bother them. Contacted the store an the manager there was not caring at all. My husband an I wanted a refund on our mattress because of the way we were treated an the manager said they could not refund our money. My husband am I have been dealing with Ashley’s for years when we were in Georgia and Virginia an never had a issue but this Ashley here located in Frederick are not friendly at all an I feel they do not care about there customers because if they did they would screen the people they send out to your home to delivery your furniture. We will never shop at Ashley in frederick Md again!!!!

Where to begin....Probably the worst experience buying furniture ever! When we received the quote for the furniture we noticed there was a warranty attached, we told our sales rep to remove that thinking the price would drop by the amount of the warranty. When the new quote came back they dispersed the warranty price through out the cost of the furniture. We received our furniture with 3 pieces being damaged and needing to be sent back twice for repairs. Then less than 3 months later our couch has broken and we now have to wait a month for the repair work to be done. Never again would I buy something from Ashley’s.

Their furniture last about a year before you start seeing signs of wear and tear. We bought a leather couch and it started peeling right around a year. Crap furniture.
Friendly & helpful staff. Lot of selection and reasonable prices.
Poor quality furniture. Every part of this purchase we have regretted. Delivery with damages several times. Now couch less than 6 months old has broken structural components that we have to wait a month for repair. Our holiday guests now get to sit on broken furniture, we will be sure to tell them where we got it from.

I went to the store in Frederick Nov.15 after finding a chair advertised on their website that I wanted to try before I purchased. The "Klorey Chair" was priced $219.99. The salesman said the price (after he was generously taking 40% off the priced marked in the store) would be $253.00 (!). I showed him the store ad. He said, no, the price is what he said. Is this the way to run a store ? He then wanted to know if I wanted "to order today". This is no way to run a business. Why bother to advertise one price when you don't honor it in the store?

When I entered the store, using a cane and walking with some difficulty, Maria immediately went and got a wheelchair and pushed me through the store while she helped me find what I wanted. Cameron was very patient with us while we decided which sofa/loveseat/chair combination we wanted to purchase. He didn't hover around us when we didn't need him which made us feel like we could really focus on what we were doing. We even had to leave to re-measure and make a 2D model of our small living room to make sure we had our ducks in a row. Ultimately, he helped us decide on a sofa and recliner combo for our small space. When it was time to "check out," Anit was helpful and thorough. Even though we had remained in the store until closing, Anit didn't rush us through the final steps.

We did purchase the power sofa with adjustable headrest and USB ports; I believe we will love it! It was very comfortable! we bought my daughter a $900 couch and paid 150 for delivery. The delivery service claimed it could not fit in the elevator when in fact all her other furniture including a queen size bed fit in the elevator. They demanded an additional 120 to take it up the stairs and would only take cash. How could delivery cost $270 for a $900 couch. That is unacceptable service. She bought the couch at the FALLS CHURCH, VA location where the office manager was not helpful. I have tried contacting their customer service through email, facebook and twitter and no one has responded. I would never shop here again.

My husband and I recently purchased a 3 seat couch, loveseat and oversized chair with ottoman from the "Belcampo" set and we are very pleased with our experience both with the staff and the furniture quality for the price! We were helped by both Tami and Eli and they were super nice!
My wife and I were looking for furniture for our new house and we found a great living room set at Ashley's. We stopped in on a weekend where they were running a special discount but we weren't able to buy till Monday. The manager extended the discount and when we came back on Monday to purchase they honored the original discount and ended up reducing the price further for us. Great experience! Would highly recommend, cannot wait for our furniture.

I had a wonderful sales associate - Kyree who assisted us and helped us get the best price for what we needed. Then came the rest of the experience which we less than wonderful. The person who wrote up the sale and took our money oh and lied about when you order could be delivered. I was told that they could most likely deliver when we needed but I had 72 hours to cancel if the delivery date didn't work, she was to call the next day to let me know (since the items we purchased were in stock). She didn't call next day as stated then to my blame, I got busy and didn't call within my 72 hours (nor did they call me as promised). I called a few days later and was told by person answering phone that it should be in soon and they will call to schedule. When they did, I was told that they only deliver to the place I needed it delivered to on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday's. If they would have told me that for the beginning I would not have purchased. We were purchasing for a beach house and would only be there on certain days (but not a Thursday - due to work commitments). I was very disappointed that to make a sale they omitted that one VERY important detail. I spoke to management who was "sympathetic" but feel it was just her job to "agree" and get me off the phone. My piece was delivered today, It was delivered as promised but the delivery men left my house full of styrofoam pieces (from the packaging) when I inquired on cleaning it up. . . . they said sorry we don't do that. Excuse me, I didn't, make the mess. Par for the course with a terrible experience I chose NOT to furnish my remaining 4 rooms with Ashely Furniture and picked a large local furniture store near the house we bought. Believe me it was a wonderful experience from start to finish including delivery - where men made sure everything was as they found it. There was one small hiccup and they have already made arrangements to remedy the situation at our convenience. Talk about night and day experiences. I will never use Ashley again - even if they were giving they items away. Again our sales associate Kyree was the best part of the deal. Buyers beware and do your homework if you have any special circumstances.
I have gone to a variety of furniture stores looking for a new sectional. I was quickly greeted by Kyree, who helped me navigate thru the showroom. He also explained the One day sale pricing with no sales tax and free delivery. I can say enough about his professional salesmanship and his honesty. He made the whole experience enjoyable. And I would also like to mention to Louise who made the purchasing process quick and easy .
Having had a horrible experience with Pottery Barn furniture (6 month delay scheduled for sofa delivery) we cancelled that order and headed for Ashley Furniture in Frederick, MD where we were met by Kyree Hansen. Kyree, friendly and courteous, went right to the computer to find what we were looking for. Found us a sofa bed in stock that we will have delivered next week. Reasonable prices, easy friendly check out by Candice, and wonderful service at Ashley Furniture, all found right in town. No need to look further!
Terrible experience- we ordered $12,000 worth of furniture, including three pillows. They had one pillow in stock, the others we had to order. We wrote a check and took the pillow with us. They called, said they needed the pillow back until our check clears the bank. Ok fine, understandable. We get a call a week later to come pick up our pillows. We show up, only one pillow is there. We get another phone call the following week to come pick up our items, we get there and there’s still the same single pillow. Third time we get a call saying that they are no longer able to order the pillows we requested. We paid in full with a check so in order to reimburse us they have to get us a check from corporate. We were also told we would receive a $100 gift card for all the troubles. It’s been two months and we have no reimbursement, and no gift card. Never again will I deal with this store. Thankfully, the furniture that was ordered and delivered properly is all decent quality and looks nice in our home.

We went in to buy 2 couches on "sale" with "free" shipping - couches that we have been looking at for a while. We instantly noticed that the "sale" tags had been changed out and the "retail" price had been adjusted upward. These couches were online for ~790 each. Note - this brand is actually made by Ashley. We showed the rather snooty salesman the price online and after several minutes of "talking" to his manager, he said they could meet it but we would need to pay for shipping which took it up to about $2100. We showed him a site we use that offered the couches for the sale price that included free shipping. We were willing to pay $1600 and he said "Good Luck with That". We just smiled and left. We paid less than the sale price and just had them white gloves delivered and set up for $1400. With their Ashley tags on them. So to that salesman, we did just fine thank you very much! The store is a good place to see the furniture in person at least.

Service at this store was wonderful. Prices were meh, though make sure you check, double and triple check on delivery dates. The store will tell you one thing and then you wait...and wait...and wait. I purchased a sofa from them almost a month ago and I still have not received, even after being told - at time of purchase - that the sofa was NOT a special order. If I didn't like the sofa I would cancel the order. However, if i do not receive by the end of this month (Sep 2019), I will cancel and look elsewhere for another.
This place is absolutely horrible we came in 6 months ago and was told it would be here by now, but got a call last week that it's now going to be here even LATER. Then we were told we would get updates on the furniture, but their communication skills are atrocious. We were just told that it was on "back order" and would take an additional moth. Not once were we offered a refund, because if we were, we would've done it ASAP and gone back to Gladhill, who by the way, got us out furniture in less than two months. This place is absolute crap. The lady at the front had an attitude, and at the end of everything being set up, she asked us for a review!!!! I will NEVER be going back here for anything I need. I highly recommend ANY furniture store that isn't this place.

They delivered my couch without feet, I’m still waiting for it. First it was delayed because of the holidays, now the packages maybe got lost. If you get something delivered with a missing part send it right away back or you can fight around with customer service. First and last time I bought something with them!

Pushy salespeople, high prices, incompetent staff. Avoid this place, if possible. I had to return to the store 3 times to deal with a simple billing issue. Store manager refused to return my phone calls. Prices are 30-50% higher than the same furniture online, even the Ashley website!
I just had a great experience shopping at Ashley's, we were greeted by Felipe who told us right away that there was a 50% and up to 65% sale in the whole store, we were only looking at the possibility of replacing our living room and ended up buying not only a living room set but also a dinning room table. I was there with my 2 year old who wanted to just run around and Felipe was really good with him, my mom was so happy with the furniture sets she found that she changed her mind with Felipe at least 3 times after he was all ready to get us processed however, he was very patient, answered all of our questions and high-fived my 2 year old while we figured out what we were doing. We then closed everything up with Jothi who made sure to explain the protection plan we bought, the refund policy, and even suggested that we check all the furniture when it arrives and if the items have any flaws before and/or after installation to not accept the items and return them to be replaced. The process was very fast and efficient and we're very excited to get our furniture soon. I only hoped that it would be in stock at the store so that we could get it sooner than the 2-6 weeks they mentioned might take.

Kyree was very easy to work with and made it a smooth transition though the purchase process. There was a dispute since the item had two tags on it that reflected different process. PLEASE BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! I have to admit that Quality is great here and that's why this was not the first time we bought furniture from Ashley, but it was our first time buying from the Frederick, MD branch for $2K value and this was a disaster. First, everything went well during the buying process, then things went totally wrong when the delivery taken place super DELAY, 5 WEEKS after the date of purchase. Here are what happened; -2 chairs were discolored, beige instead of ivory -Full bed (white) with head and foot boards came wrapped but when unwrapped it had permanent stain of finger prints and scratches all over. -2 sofas came nicely wrapped, but 2 delivery guys are too small and were not able to pass them through the basement doorway. -A study desk DID NOT COME with and was informed to us only 1 day before delivery date that it was back ordered and not yet know when is it gonna be available to deliver. Here are the situations, thanks to Anit at least she understood and tried to compromise at some point; -We unconditionally ACCEPTED 2 chairs, not a big deal! -We conditionally ACCEPTED the full bed with an agreement from the Warehouse Manager that it will be followed up with a cleaning of the stains/scratches and the date would be confirmed in 48 hours from the delivery date. Turned out it was a joke, no contacts from the manager until NOW. -We REJECTED 2 sofas since the guys were not capable of pushing them through. Ashley hires unprofessional delivery men with no or limited communication of a proper English. They only said 'No' to you when you tried to guide them how to do it correctly and once they stuck at the door they wanted me to bring them a hammer so that they could remove the door. When I hesitated to do so, they changes their mind and said 'I don't touch' and just intended to leave them in the middle of the stairway that was when we asked him to call the Manager to solve what to do next. -A study desk is still nowhere to be seen in my house. . . . no promises, no indicators of when will it be delivered and it has been almost 6 weeks. Every time I call back to the store, they always flip their word for excuses, kept changing the date with no guarantees which date, often even had a bad temper towards us in the phone calls, demonstrating no customer satisfaction guarantee whatsoever!!!! PLEASE RUN OUT OF THE STORE, THEY ARE NOT FOR YOU. AGAIN, BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

We had a great experience with my sales lady but during billing Anit guided me well and confirmed every piece of my bedroom set, which was not done earlier when we went to the other store!! Extremely excited in all aspects of our new purchase...
Well the experience went down hill very fast. After returning home, I found out the SAME furniture I purchased online was cheaper than the stores pricing. I called and was bounced around several times. I was given the excuse of the online website being a third party and sometimes they do have better deals but was offered a price match.... Awesome right? Wrong!! The lady walked me through the new pricing step by step as I wrote everything down and told me that she would put in notes on my account so my husband could go back in for the adjustment. My adjustment she quoted was $406. When my husband gets there he is told the adjustment is only @ $130 after tax and delivery was added. I was told my quote yesterday included that pricing. None of it made sense because the couch alone was $250 less online and the chair $150. (These figures were given to me by the rep and I looked up the coach online to begin with) no body seemed to know what to do since the lady I spoke to was not there. My husband was bounced back and forth and said he was done with the nonsense and cancelled the order. We will be buying our furniture elsewhere but unfortunately my husband took a unnessesary hit on his credit because he applied for their in-store credit card now for no reason. Wish I knew how to delete my previous review bc in the end their customer service is lacking and no one wanted to handle the situation once a problem arised. Not to mention they refused to give us back our original receipt that had my notes on them from my conversation and the breakdown.. too bad for them I still remember the numbers and will contact Corp so they know how horrible their customer service is.

Just wanted to take a moment to say how wonderful Monique was today. My fiancé and I went in to look at couches, and Monique was there to greet us. We told her we were just looking around but we'd get her when we're ready. We proceeded to put our butts on every couch. Now, typically, furniture sales reps follow you around and don't give you space, which I really can't stand. It legitimately drove me to leave a previous furniture before coming to Ashley. Monique gave us plenty of space, but was available when we had made our decision. She was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy. Thanks, Monique!
My family's experience at Ashley's was excellent. Originally my family's plan was to simply look for a possible replacement for our old living room couch's, however we also ended up buying a new queen size bed. Our sales associate John was extremely helpful and patient with as we kept debating on what to get. John was very helpful in explaining the types of beds that Ashley had on offer and which bed suited our needs the best. Our customer service representative Louise was extremely helpful during the financing of our new bed and two couch's. She explained how the process went and the types of financing options that we had as well as explaining that days sale and how the pricing for all of our items would be. Overall our experience was very good and hassle free, both John and Louise were courteous, professional and very helpful.
We recently moved into a new place and needed new furniture to really liven up the living room. We had no idea what we wanted but Cameron, the sales assiciate, really helped us out in deciding. He gave us recommendations. Told us where to look. We ended up with the perfect couches for our apartment and all help goes to him. It didn't stop there, though. Jothi really helped with the financing. She also has fantastic customer service, she notifies us of our order updates on a regular basis.

My husband and I visited Ashley furniture for the first time on July 4th weekend. The service we received and the prices they had were great so we ended up purchasing a couch and chair from their store. Although we have not received these items yet we are looking forward to receiving them soon. Logan and all staff there was very helpful.

We visited Ashley furniture in Frederick MD on 7/14/2019 and were greeted by salesperson Karen. We were very pleased at the sale in progress which Karen explained in detail. She did not hound us while we looked at bedroom sets but simply said to let her know if we had any questions. She checked back with us from time to time and showed us newly arrived bedroom sets we had not yet seen. We ended up purchasing a bedroom set and mattress and a tv stand. The sale they had at the time was wonderful and both sales person Karen and customer service rep Louise really took care of us and made our entire experience very pleasant.
Cameron was both helpful and patient, especially since I couldn't make up my mind at first. Louise provided great customer service when it came time to pay. Would recommend both to anyone looking for new furniture!
This store is a joke, I made a purchase less than a month ago, one of the items was damaged I contacted the store and was actually easy to get that taken care of, on the other hand when I tried to return one of the other pieces a living room set they gave me hell. Salesman promised we could return(after I stressed about how I was unsure because I was redoing my living room and was sure that it would match or have the space for the new sofa) he said returning was easy and guaranteed never mention how long I would have to return and I asked that question about a thousand times) well while trying to return I came across two people, one couldn't do anything and said I would have to pay a 30%restocking fee but I should call the next day, I called the next day and she said that the furniture was in my house for too long and they couldn't take, she ignored me when I said that the salesperson promised me and said that everything is on the back of the contract(yes, I was dumb for believing the salesman word while he's only trying to make his commission and get us out of the door) but when I asked her for a copy of my contract because they should sure have on file she hung up on face. No calls back no nothing. Horrible experience, will never recommend this store to anyone. So if you're in Frederick do not go to Ashley on 7th Street. Now I'm actually concerned cause I got the insurance/care plan on my furniture and I wonder how are they going to treat me if I ever need it). The 3 stars is because the delivery man and first person that I dealt with when the furniture was damaged were real nice.
We were met at the door by sales associate, Logan. He briefly informed us of what to expect and the layout of the store and set us free. We especially like this because we felt "hounded" at the store we went to before going to Ashley Furniture. I thanked him for briefing us and then allowing us to browse and try out the furniture. True to his word, he checked on us once and we told him we were narrowing our choices down to three and then we would come find him. We made our decision, found Logan and everything was great from there on out. Once we reached the sales desk, Jothi was the one who assisted us. She was very careful to double check all information and to fully explain everything we needed to know. She emphasized not accepting the furniture when it was delivered if it had even minor damage. I appreciated her thoroughness and multiple reminders. Our furniture has yet to be delivered, but this part of the review has only to do with the staff we encountered inside the store. I will update later with a review about the delivery procedures and staff involved. In short, Logan and Jothi for the win! Thank you for making a potentially stressful experience easy!

She was attentive to our needs with respect to budget and lifestyle. She addressed our questions honestly and without pressure to buy - the perfect balance between giving us space and being there for us when we needed assistance. The financing process was expedient and the delivery process was explained in detail. We feel that Ashley Furniture is family-friendly business that is constantly providing the community with great sales and high-quality furniture, both contemporary and traditional. Our only complaint is that there were too many pieces to choose from, which made our buying experience a little longer than expected. We recently purchased a new love seat from Ashley. It had been several years since I visited the showroom, and I was pleasantly surprised with the selection. It appears that they have more stylish and quality pieces when compared with the past. We decided on a fairly inexpensive piece to go in our kids play area, and we have it scheduled for delivery this week. Karen, our sales associate, was very friendly and professional; she got us in out of there pretty quick. Jothi was the finance associate who processed the order and scheduled delivery. I think there was a bit of a language barrier with Jothi...when we asked what the standard delivery hours were, she couldn't provide us with a direct answer. While I can appreciate that delivery is outsourced to another company, given that Ashley is the selling Party, someone should be able to tell us the standard delivery hours. Other than that, we had a great experience.
We had a great experience working with Maria and Anit. We haven't had our furniture delivered yet, but our experience in the store was great. They were able to find us something that fit all the requirements we were looking for, and it was quick and easy.
I have always been a fan of Ashley furniture so I was expecting great furniture but it’s all in the customer service that will get us to purchase. Our sales associate Cameron didn’t disappoint us. He didn’t crowd me which I appreciate. I must also mention Logan. He wasn’t our sales person but he was working with another couple. He moved items around was so patient. The customers he was working actually told us we should’ve asked for him. Then Logan said “Cameron is awesome too so you will be well taken care of”. That spoke volumes to us. My furniture was just delivered, in-and-out in record time. The movers were very careful and professional handling my items, and they're in excellent condition (both the movers and my furniture). I would like to thank my sales associate Logan for helping me find a couch and coffee table that met my requirements. He showed me a few options based on my input, gave me some space to look around, and was right there when I was ready with a question or needed help measuring. Thanks as well to Jothi for helping me check out and schedule my delivery. Do not adhere to there online prices. Put heavy Pressure into buying protection plans. Does not honor or adhere to product availability timelines. Store told us a day when product can be picked up in store, then changed date twice by a few weeks and didn't even call us. The item was in stock in warehouse, store just failed to put in into system properly. Just wants to get sale, delivery of product is an afterthought... Don't buy from Ashley furniture in Frederick. Still do not have our item.

I went to find a bed frame and Kyree, my sales person, was absolutely great. He helped me look at what I wanted and found me something at the price I wanted. He was so helpful. Then when I checked out, Jothi was also great and very helpful She explained all of the details to me.
We have been here twice and bought most of our furniture. Their 4th of July sales are very good. Salesman Logan and customer service reps Jothi and Anit were all friendly and helpful.
Great experience shopping for and finding new living room furniture. Logan J. was great to work with. No high pressure in your face sales. He gave us info and let us shop and discuss, but was nearby with answers when we had questions. We planned on a long search, but thanks to Ashley's deals and Logan's no hassle approach, we were able to find something that made us and our budget happy. Louise was very friendly, helpful and thorough while finalizing our transaction at the customer service desk.

Kyree was extremely helpful, respectful, and patient. I looked at the floor models and browsed through the wondersign catalog kiosk and then received a rough estimate from Kyree. I then continued to other furniture stores in the area which had me looking through catalogs by myself and would look up the product online to quote me a price. I went back to Kyree at Ashley Furniture because I was able to get a more personalized service. He did not try to upsell or push for a sale. We discussed multiple options and if he did not have an answer to one of my questions he would ask a manager or someone who would know to get an answer. The checkout staff was very friendly, including Anit, who handled the checkout process without any issues. Note: This review is only about the buying experience. I just purchased the items today and will be awaiting delivery to see the final product.

Logan was the perfect salesperson. He had just the right mix of helpful and informative, but didn't hover over us - like a good waiter who shows up to help at the perfect intervals. There was the usual back-and-forth about price, discounts, etc. , but he was accommodating, and in the end we were satisfied with our purchase of a sofa, love seat and dining table for our new home. Customer Service Rep Anit was outstanding. So pleasant, personable, knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations. This is the second time we've made a furniture purchase at Ashley's in Frederick, MD and both experiences have been more than satisfactory.
It was a decent experience. Most of the furniture seems high-priced for the quality, but we managed to find a couple of the things we needed. They offered me 0% interest for 3 months which I took advantage of, but that application process and the checkout was complicated and took way too long. I may go back later though to see if we can find anything else for our house while my line of credit is still active. It was not a terrible experience, just not great.
Cameron helped my boyfriend and I pick out the perfect couch and dining room set. As soon as we walked in, we were kindly greeted. Cameron explained the AMAZING deals they had today and gave us space to look around - unlike most sales people that hassle you the whole time. Cameron made the whole process easy and was friendly and easygoing the whole way. Then we completed payment and shipping info. with Louise. She was also wonderful, and reviewed everything we were purchasing before charging my card. Since some of our purchased items were in stock, some not, she was even going to go the next step and email a supervisor to see if we could receive our furniture in two shipments. She called us within 30 minutes to give us the update too. Cameron and Louise made our furniture buying experience easy, painless, and fun.
Kyree was my sales guy and he was awesome! He explained everything and showed me everything because I could not make up my mind, so he was very patient and professional. I wanted certain accommodations for my sofa piece and he got that for me. Everything went smoothly!! And Louise was my customer service rep who wrapped everything up nicely with the paper work side of things and she was so knowledgeable and so nice. I really trusted her expertise.

My wife and I went into Ashley just to look at furniture for our new home. We had floor plans of all of our rooms and a measuring tape in hand. The first salesperson asked us if they could help us and we gave the "no thanks, just looking around" response. They said ok, and brought us the sale papers. . . Then started to ask what we were looking for. . . "Just bought a house and we're just looking around, nothing in particular. " At this point I (licensed engineer) was measuring up items and making notes on our floor plans. The salesperson told us that the furniture we were looking at wouldn't fit in the room and started drawing on graph paper to "show" us it wouldn't fit. Meanwhile I had dimensioned floor plans in hand. . . We sat through 4 iterations of this because their math kept changing. My wife and I tried gracefully and numerously to say "thanks, but we're fine on our own, and we're just looking anyway" but we could not shake this salesperson. It ended up we asked them to get us some paperwork so my wife and I had a chance to get out of there. We ended up going to Wolf's Furniture and dropping about $6K that day. Why? Because they left us alone and let us do our thing. Oh, and the furniture fits just fine.
My salesman at Ashley was very helpful and showed me different options she thought would be best for me. Anit from customer service was great as well! She was friendly and helped me with all my questions and scheduling my delivery. I’ll definitely go back to Ashley furniture for all my furniture needs!

My husband and I went into the Frederick MD store and was helped by Monique and Louise. They were both wonderful to my husband and I. They let us walk the floor and would check on on us every so often. It was a nice change from other places where the salesman follow you around Nd drive you crazy. I would ask for either one of them when I went shopping there. We bought our furniture on Sunday May 26th and our furniture was delivered the following Saturday. Unbelievable I know.
Had a good experience in the store. My two orders have changed anticipated delivery date 3 times. The paperwork states 2-6 weeks for delivery. The store states they get an extra two weeks for delivery so I have to wait 8 weeks before I can receive a refund. One order isn't anticipated until 9 weeks after ordered. If I would've known I had to wait 8 weeks for NON-CUSTOM furniture I never would've ordered it! VCF warned me this would happen but I thought it was just competition. I will NEVER order from here again or suggest to anyone. So now I will have an empty house until I can receive a refund. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a culverbach bedset from the Frederick MD store, and it was so much trouble dealing with them. The delivery was anything but smooth, they dented walls, and put huge gouges in the furniture. They dropped a dresser drawer on our nightstand, fixed it with putty, and told us the night stand was supposed to look that way. It took over 6 months to get a replacement for the nightstand. They never call you back when they say they will. Once they finally scheduled for someone to take the nightstand back, the pick up team didn't drop off another nightstand. I had to go back and fourth 40+ minutes to this store 5 times to get anything from them. Don't purchase from here unless you want to be highly disappointed and deal with hours of wasted time with their terrible customer service.

I was at the frederick store today with my mom we seen the add on there website the loveseat where on sale for 279.00 and i ask the sale man about them and he said he could sale one for that price except i have to pay 150.00 delivery fee i told him i had someone to pick it up and he still said they have to charge the delivery fee so i left if that not a rip off i don't know what is we went to big lots and got one and a discount to i would not by nothing from Ashley it sad my mom live on a fix income and they want charge a delivery fee when you have someone picking it up for you that just stupid.

My son, who hates shopping, was in need of a new dresser. We went to Ashley Memorial Day weekend and found d one he liked in minutes. With the sale they had, we ended up also getting a twin bed to replace his loft, and a nightstand. We weren't shadowed by lurking pushy salespeople at all, but found one immediately when we had made our selection. They do not pay there employees on time. My fiance has waited 5 weeks now for 2 paychecks due. This is unacceptable and they keep giving him the run around. Blaming the new "pay scale" as to why they have not been paid. Do not trust this place. This is unethical.
I just had the best shopping experience at Ashley Homestore in Frederick Md. Nicholas, the sales associate was very helpful and knowledgeable about furniture I was trying to decided between. He explained everything in detail and made sure I had all the information I wanted to make the best decision for me. He then introduced me to Kyree, who was very nice and also made sure I understand the warranty I purchased. Kyree explained how the picking up of my funiture works. They both gave me the same estimated date of delivery. I actually enjoyed my experience and will return for future purchases. My hope is I will get the same sales associate.

My wife and I just moved to Maryland and were in desperate need of furniture for our new home. The sales rep Logan, helped us navigate the store to find our desired look. Once we pieced together our living area, Candice, Mayuri and Tyoti in Customer Service were very helpful with trying to get us to stay within our budget. They were able to help us receive our furniture as quickly as possible. This store exceeded our expectations!
I went to the Ashley furniture store in Frederick to look for living room furniture for my new place. Karen, a sales person, approched me at the door. She mentioned that everything in the store is 50 percent off only that day! When I told her my budget, she mocked me in an indirect way that was very disrespectful. Then she tried to hard to sell me a couch and a chair while I was looking for a sectional in a very decieving way!!!! She said she will give me another 10% off which will make it 60% off and that it will tale 5-7 days to be shipped. I purchased the set, then I went online and found out that the original price was already the price after (her 50% off)!!!! So all she did was the 10%, and next day I was told that it will arrive 5 weeks later!!! I canceled my order and will never be shopping in Ashley's again! When I went to the store, other employees mentioned how decieving she can be!!!! I think the company needs to focus on choosing their sales people! They woukd benefit more from people that are honest and can build relationships, not people who just want to sell anything to make a sale!!!
I had a great experience shopping in your store today. I came in just to look but found a very cool couch and loveseat that has a little tech that I really like. Karen was very helpful and nice. She told me that the delivery would be more like 3-4 weeks but it was really 2-6 weeks. The only thing that I don't like about Ashley is that delivery takes weeks to get. This is the third piece of furniture that I have purchased from them. Kyree the sales associate was great. He is very sweet and helpful.

One star is giving too much credit. Waited 2 months for my order and it still wasn’t totally fulfilled(all pieces not ready/together). I had to make several calls for updates as well as an email- that went unanswered. Then they give arbitrary delivery times and are not willing to work with you, yet charge you a 25% restock fee. I tried to cancel the order due to lack of customer service but again, that would incur a fee. Customer service stops once you swipe your card. The store sales associates have no problem being pushy and all about you until it’s time for you to actually need them to do their part. Never again. Take your money elsewhere.

He showed me many options for mattresses and brand new bed sets and also showed me comparing prices to cheaper options because he was understanding of my budget. Usually salesman have tried to up charge me, but Nick was very understanding of my situation and my budget and did the best I give me all my options. It was nothing but wonderful to work with him and I highly recommend him as a sales associate! Sales representative: I have to begin by saying I usually can't stand shopping for furniture because of the high pressure sales tactics. To my surprise, that was not the case on this occasion. Our sales representative, Julian, was very friendly and informative without being overbearing. He allowed us to discuss our options without hovering over us, which made us feel very comfortable with his approach. In the end my son purchased a sectional for his new apartment at a very fair price. My wife and I plan to return and purchase furniture set for her mother. Store: Ashley had a very selection on contemporary as well as traditional styles to choose from.

Service was fine while I was looking and buying but once I purchased is when I had issues. I bought this furniture while they were having a promotion and if you bought over $3999 you got a free 55” tv. Salesman checked with corporate to ensure I was eligible for the free tv since he did an internet price match. Even with the internet price I spent 5k. The paperwork he gave me was incomplete to register for the free TV. I called numerous times but the salesman did not return my calls. If I did catch him he said he would check and call me back but never did. I stopped in and inquired and another salesperson said I wasn’t eligible since I got the internet price. Finally was able to reach the salesman (3/10/19) after trying for almost 3 months to get a hold of him and he remembered the situation but said his manager said I wasn’t eligible. I contacted corporate and they referred me back to the Frederick store. To say the least Ashley just lost a loyal customer. I have bought close to 15k in furniture in the past 10 years, no more. Customer service was horrible after purchase plus don’t honor their agreements. Don’t tell me one thing when I’m buying then renege after I make the purchase. Never again!!!!
I always have a positive experience at this store. I think I've shopped here numerous times now and have always been happy. Karen has helped me a few times and always understands that I'm in a rush with my kids either in the store with me or in the car! The sales service reps, Mayuri and Anik are wonderful - they made sure we were able to pay for our couch just the way we wanted. They took care of us quickly while also adding a personal touch and relating to our autistic son with one of their autistic family members. I will continue to go back to this store over all others! And the furniture and warranty are always great!
I had a great experience today; I was greeted by Tami as soon as I entered the store. Tami checked in every once in a while, but did not hover; this was greatly appreciated. Tami answered all my questions and was able to get me the best deal possible. I was not planning on buying today, as I'm in the home buying process now. She offered a great solution that allowed me to take advantage of the anniversary sale, but not make the full purchase or take delivery until June/July when I move. I only had to put a small amount down. Anti, the customer service representative, took care of everything when I was ready to finalize everything. As stated above, overall a GREAT experience and offered a solution that allowed me to take advantage of the current promotion.
Ashley furniture home store is terrific. They have high quality items. I went in to purchase a Lift Chair and I knew what I wanted ahead of time so it took 20 minutes to seal the deal. Nick my sales agent was very helpful and the checkout process with Van was very easy and fast.

We went in just to "look" and walked out with new furniture ordered! The furniture is beautiful! The people who helped us Carlos and Elizabeth were two of the employees who helped us with a great experience of shopping and to purchase at the store. There was a problem with our paperwork and they both worked on the process until they got it right! We had to wait a while but we didn't mind because it was worth the wait. We love our new sofa! I had been looking for just the right one for months with no luck. Maria our sales Associate asked the right questions and got us to the perfect sofa! Mayuri set up our delivery and we were in and out and very happy!

Yesterday (Wednesday) I get a call saying they can not make my delivery that day due to the weather. I tell the person on the phone I understand but I really needed it Thursday or Friday. I explain I’m moving in Saturday and need my living room furniture. I explain I work 5 minutes away from my new house so I am flexible when they want to do it within those 48 hours even if they tell me last minute. The person makes it seem like that won’t be an issue and says I would hear from someone to plan that. No on calls me before end of day Wednesday to reschedule. I wait until lunchtime today (Thursday) no one comes facts me. I call the store they say they had no idea it was cancelled but they can put me in for next week. I tell them that I was given the impression it would be resolved prior to Saturday. They said they would contact their warehouse to see if special arrangements were made. I call back before end of business because I never heard back. They act like they just got the response and no one made any special arrangements to accommodate. The women on the phone at the store doesn’t want to deal with me so she quickly gives me the warehouses number. First girl I talk to tells me that I have no argument to get preferred delivery or any of my $150 delivery fee back because weather is listed in the small print. I ask for her supervisor and she says all my supervisor is going to so is give you next weeks dates like me. I get the supervisor and that’s exactly what she tells me. My only option is to pay full price to get my delivery a week later than scheduled or cancel. I asked why no one contacted me or told me this in the first place and I am told the same thing. Karen at Ashley Furniture was a great help to me when I went in to look for living room tables and a recliner. She was knowledgeable and very nice to work with. Mayurl in the ordering and finance was quick with the paperwork and got me out of there quick and assured me my furniture would be delivered soon and she would check on it everyday. this store is a joke they charge you to have the items delivered to the store for pickup. i purchased a recliner waited 3 weeks for it to come in it was the wrong color. they said they would make it right so they sent it back and two weeks later the new recliner arrived and it was the same color.... i got my money refunded I'm never stepping foot in that store again. thanks ashley home store for the wasted time it was a blessing in disguise their furniture is cheap garbage anyway
We actually bought our first Living room set on our own from Ashley about 17 years ago! (No I don't have that set anymore 😛.) But now shopping for new home and didn't feel like the Sales Reps wanted to assist much. It's all good though because we were just getting ideas and visions for what we want, and will definitely buy at the Ashley Furniture store more local to where we purchased the Lake House.
Great inventory, great lighting, and the sales team is not aggressive. My rep was helpful and the manager was reasonable in negotiating a better price for my family. I will definitely return here for any future furniture needs.

Had the worst experience ever. We had looked online and found a dining set we liked and wanted to see it in person. After talking to the sales person he said I believe we can price match our online price let me check. After being gone 10 minutes yep we can match but let me check on shipping. Another 10 minutes gone comes back yep online offering free shipping we can do the same. . . ok just come over here let's take time put all your information in oh would you like the warranty to cover furniture and then you get 5 years coverage. . no thanks are you sure. . no thanks so then he says ok meet me over with my manager in 5 minutes. . . we go over and sit and wait and wait over 30 minutes later sorry we cannot give you the free shipping. . . . so you wasted all of this time telling me what you could do so you could get all my information and then when I won't buy your warranty coverage forget the free shipping? Off to another company to find my furniture. . . very disappointing to have a company promise one service and then not honor it after you asked your manager and told us yes!

DO NOT BUY from this store, I would give it zero stars if it would let me. I received my reclining sofa and 30 days later the wood frame holding the back of one side broke. Customer service will not give me a refund or send me a replacement sofa. They said that it will take 30 days for someone to come to my home to assess the sofa and determine whether or not it can be fixed.
Came to look for a sofa for our family room the sales associate Logan was very professional and informative he gave us plenty of space while we were making our decision which was greatly appreciated. Once we made the decision he introduced us to the financial associate Mayuri who was a pleasure to work with she was informative and her personality made the process enjoyable. Had a great experience in this store. We were offered help as soon as we walked in the door. Monique asked what we were looking for and when we expressed that we wanted to just look around, she explained the layout of the store and said she would check on us and to make sure we let her know if we had any questions. After looking for a little bit, she checked up on us and got a better idea of the style we were looking for. From there she took us directly to what is now going to be our new living room. She listened and recommended beautifully. Not once did I feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. When we did finish our decision making, we met Van to help us with the financial stuff. She too was very nice and went over the financials and delivery information thoroughly. Furniture shopping can be super stressful and these ladies made it easy. Monique even did a great job with entertaining and including the kids the big decision making!

The overall experience that my father and I had at this store was sub par at best. The salesman told my father his furniture would be delivered in time for our move and when we called to check the delivery they told us it wouldn't be until 2 weeks AFTER we moved. Fast forward to our delivery day and 2 men in an unmarked truck come out to deliver our furniture on one of the coldest days of this season after a bad snow. One of the men felt compelled to lecture me about ice on the walk way. I salted the walk way the previous day and there was nothing but small patches of ice with salt still on the walkway. To top it off Ashley never told us that our order was separate shipments and the delivery men did not know when the other piece was being delivered so here we now are with 2 out of 3 pieces of furniture and no idea when the third will arrive.

I priced items online but went into the store to check out the pieces in person, assuming prices would be the same or at least in the same ballpark. What I found was the same 4 items in store totaled $700 more in store, even with the in-store 50% off sale. Wow. The sales associate said he could match the online price. That process turned into a lengthy and difficult transaction. I should have just ordered online but felt compelled to let them price match since I was there, even though the sales associate, Carlos, spent very little time assisting me ( not his fault at all - I had already picked out the items). He was very friendly but didn’t really provide anything I needed. Candace was very helpful price matching but had difficulty locating one item even though I was able to quickly find it online. She was able to work around it and sent an email to corporate. Although my invoice showed a balance due she assured me it would be fine. I called three days later to confirm since I hadn’t heard from anyone. Candace was professional and friendly toward me but the interaction between all of the associates in front of me was far less than professional. Mayuri finished ringing out the transaction when Candace was called away. She was very nice when asking me to complete the survey but prior to that she interrupted Candace assisting me to complain about a customer she had just spoken to on the phone. Although Candace asked her to wait, she interrupted and proceeded to complain about the customer. It seemed that she was completely unaware of how inappropriate her behavior was. Overall, I got the price I wanted and the furniture should be delivered timely but based on the environment in store, I’ll probably just order online from now on.
We had great experience with sales assoc. Carlos so helpful and made sure we got what we wanted in style and color for new recliner. The customer service rep. Mayuri was very nice and helpful in trying to get us credit for our past purchases when we didn't need to use the protection plan in five years. My husband and I are very happy Ashley customers. We purchased our master bedroom set and our great room furniture at the Frederick location about eighteen months ago. We love our furniture and appreciate the staff that assisted us during our visits. Most recently, we returned to the store on MLK Day to discover the dining room set we wanted had been discontinued. We were incredibly disappointed. Fortunately, Sales Associate, Thomas and Customer Service Representative, Candice located the very last table, chairs and buffet in the system. My visit to the Fredericksburg store was very pleasant. Emily was wonderful showing me around the store until I found the perfect sofa. Lily checked me out very quickly and was very nice. Told me it may take up to 6-8 weeks to receive the sofa. I got it in about 2 weeks. Delivery guys were very nice. I would go back there again when I need more furniture. Thank you, Jewel Lair
Marty was extremely helpful and patient. I'm the type of shopper who doesn't want to be bombarded with sales reps following me around as soon as I walk through the door. He introduced himself and let me know he was there for assistance and didn't becoming overbearing while I took the time to browse. He assisted on the sale and was knowledgeable in the types of finance and was able to have the purchase completed in a short period of time. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were on a search to find the right sectional for our new apartment. We had to of lapped the store 5 times before we knew exactly which model we wanted. There was even a point where we contemplated leaving and coming back but luckily Karen stopped us to ask us if we had picked anything yet! Karen was extremely helpful in helping us select our sectional, price match the online price we knew of, explaining the protection program, and explaining delivery. We walked out with a great deal and a sectional that we know will be of great use in our new place.
Have been looking for recliner sofas and love seats in many furniture stores. Monique at Ashley Furniture in Frederick was totally awesome. Very polite and pleasant person who was totally respectful of clients time, wanting to look on their own without a sales person over their shoulder. She checked on us occasionally, and when we had a question, she was right on top of it. We ended up buying these items from her, as well as the coffee table and end table. Mayuri helped us at the customer service desk and was also very pleasant to deal with.

I purchased an entire bedroom set in October from Ashley Furniture in Frederick. My in store experience was okay. Logan was my sales person and wasn't too pushy. He was able to take care of us quite well and found us what we were looking for. We were able to get in and out in a normal amount of time. After the typical 4-6 week waiting period to receive our furniture is when the nightmare has begun. Our furniture was delivered and improperly assembled. We couldn't tell because of the way it was assembled under the mattress and bed. The crew didn't assemble the supports correctly/at all. Luckily my husband found this out and was able to correct it before we slept on it our we may have fallen through the bed and gotten seriously hurt. That wasn't it though. We also noticed on the storage bed that the side panel had also been damaged and was coming apart. I immediately called Ashley the same day it was delivered to inform them of this (I didn't notice this on the walk through with the delivery crew as they were also rushing me). Ashley ensured me they would be putting in a service request to have someone come out and immediately repair/replace the part. Fast forward 8 weeks and over 10 phone calls having to call the store for updates I had no one out to my house and no calls from Ashley or updated. I had to call them for everything. They send two parts in extremely damaged boxes with no instructions that weren't even the correct parts and expected me to fix my own bed. Needless to say I am one frustrated customer. Every time I have called the store the manager is never there. Last night Candice (the store manager) was finally working said she is looking into it and seeing how she can help us and seeing if she can replace our bed. I have purchased furniture from competitors and have never had these issues. I highly recommend if you are thinking of going to Ashley to not. Their customer service at Ashley is terrible post purchase.

We received wonderful service from Carlos Carpio in choosing a new mattress. He listened to our needs and after asking a few questions, he helped us to narrow down our options to find "our" mattress. After having purchased two other mattresses in specialty stores over the past two years, this is the first time we felt truly assisted rather than directed by a salesperson.
We ordered a couch, ottoman and toy chest. We have waited a while for the delivery, but it finally came today. I was told yesterday that I would get a call from the warehouse with the time for delivery. No call by 12:30pm yesterday so I called Ashley and was told the warehouse had until 5:30 to call me. At 5:15, I had still not heard so called back to Ashley furniture and a nice gentleman helped me and called the warehouse himself and shortly after we got a time window. Overall, we like our furniture and it looks nice. But we have one new couch upside down in the living room because the warehouse did not send the right legs! Now we have to wait with a couch on the side for 7 to 10 days and then figure out what to do with these legs or call for someone. Also on the couch there was a black mark. On the new couch just delivered. And on the white toy bench it came with a nick/scratch/scrape. Ugh. Not sure on the quality at this place. When we went to the kids section, most of their furniture in there was scratched up. I just thought it was from being on the floor, but my brand new piece came with a scratch on it.
My husband and I were in need of a couch and we found the perfect sectional here! Price was slightly cheaper online and our saleswoman, Maria, helped us by doing a price adjustment. She was fun to work with and it was such a smooth process!
I bought my couch in December 2018. Maria and Candice were great. They made the process very easy and efficient. I was going to buy it on-line, but I learned that the warranty could only come if I bought it in store. They had it in stock and it was delivered promptly at my convenience and the guys who delivered it were awesome, professional, and helpful. I will return to Ashley Furniture again!
I was excited to order with Ashley Furniture again for a new living room set purchased. Unfortunately they dropped the ball and lacked accountability in delivering on their promises. Would not recommend shopping here again to my worst enemy! From start to finish my experience was awesome! I am moving into my first apartment and did not have to stress over finding and purchasing furniture because of the outstanding employees at the Frederick Ashley. They were able to find me options within my budget and took the time to make sure I was getting quality furniture that will last.
