Dion Johnson was knowledgeable about the product we ended up purchasing which was the reclining Chapman Sectional. He was not pushy but very easy to talk with. The manager also extended his thanks to my wife and I. I am very happy with the customer service. We don't have the sectional yet but after we have experienced it for a while I will leave a product review.

Me and my boyfriend just moved to Baltimore and came here to find a couch for our new place. The staff was so incredibly welcoming and kind, on top of being super helpful with guiding us around the store and showing us couches that matched what we were looking for. Eric was helping us with our decision and purchase and was so great! The general manager even came out, introduced himself, thanked us for coming in, and assured us to take our time. We weren’t rushed or forced into any decisions, and were able to take our time and find our perfect fit. Finally, they covered every little detail about delivery and our protection plan to answer questions we didn’t even know we had! I would recommend this store to anyone looking into buying furniture.

Purchased a couch on January 15th. The delivery people arrived February 10th with the couch, and decided they would not carry the couch into the house and down the stairs. They claimed that the couch would not fit on the stairs, citing specifically that the ceiling was too low. The ceiling had over 18 inches more clearance than required for the couch at lowest point, and in terms of width, the staircase is 6 inches wider than the couch. It was very clear to me from their demeanor that they did not want to carry the couch down the stairs, rather than it actually being the case that it doesn’t fit. I called the store, and they said they would arrange for a different delivery team, and if I did not hear back by the 12th I should call them. I call multiple times throughout the week on and after the 12th to nobody picking up the phone. I finally get a hold of someone on the 15th, who rudely tells me that what was told to me by the person I spoke with on Saturday was not true, and that the order was marked by the delivery team as “complete.” She said I would either have to pay for the delivery team to come back, or pay an order cancellation fee. I then call corporate who claims the fees are determined by the store and they can’t do anything. I go in on the 17th, and request they reschedule delivery with a different crew or issue a full refund, because frankly a delivery attempt was not fully completed. Tracey, the manager on duty, does reduce the cancellation fee to about $80 (instead of $174). Tracey was very professional, polite, and did what his higher ups allowed him to do to resolve the issue. That having been said, this issue (through no fault of Tracey’s), was not resolved adequately. I have paid Ashley $80 for two people to have shown up to my house and decide they don’t want to bring the couch in as they are paid to do, and for them to not answer the phone when I try and get in contact with them. The only way for Ashley Furniture to make this right is to return the remaining $80. Considering I received no product and no genuine delivery attempt, I do not believe that would be unreasonable. I would advise anyone looking to actually see the furniture they purchase in their home to shop elsewhere.

We just left the Glen burnie location and had the best experience. Ashley furniture is where we tend to shop but it makes it an easy decision when the sales people are very friendly and helpful. Tracey our salesman was amazing. And Ashley who did all the paper work was just as amazing. Thank you!
I'm a returning customer and I went into the Glen Burnie store on Black Friday Nov. 2023 and purchased a large sofa. The whole experience was bad from the Salesmen (Victor) to the signing paperwork and checking out. No one seemed to know what they were doing, everyone was all over the place and they ended up ordering my sofa in the wrong configuration. I wasn't awear of this because Victor never showed me and had me sign off on the configuration. My sofa was to take 4-6 weeks per my invoice and it took 9 weeks so they were out of contract with me and no one called to explain this. I had to call weekly for updates! Finally I get my sofa and it's completely wrong so I had to paid an additional $150 to have them come back out and pick it up on their timeframe mind you so i had to take off of work to accommodate this pick up. Then they wouldn't reorder the right sofa for me and made me come back into the store for another 1.5 hours to just get the run around about how Tracy the store manger, and Kevin the worthless store manager, and TJ the big boss and Ashley and Patience behind the counter all couldn't do anything for me! Tracy the manager walked around to interview some guy, Ashely and Patience had their hands tied, Kevin was so horrible, unprofessional, and rude. No one took an once of their time to help me get this sofa reordered from the start the right now and sent me on my way with the expectations that everything would be handled on their end. No one ever calls me with an update, I had to call daily asking for an update on my pending order and if it got approved by corporate and then they have the nerve to tell me to come back into the store and redo all of my financing paperwork for the third time! I canceled my order and will go spend my money somewhere else. By far the the absolute worst experience I have ever had and wouldn't recommend this store to save my life. I even called corporate and they said this Glen Burnie store is a franchised owned store so you aren't going to get anywhere with customer service and this location. Sometimes they just don't even answer the phone and when you leave a message they certainly don't return your call. Ashley came in behind the desk after just smoking a cig and smelled so bad, not a care in the world about professionalism. I have kept my cool this whole time and have been understanding and extremely patience but I'm so over this and can't wait to cancel my Ashley credit card so I never had to see or deal with this company again. I wish Tracy, Kevin or big boss man TJ would give me a call. I bet they wont even see this review. Shame on all of them for the the lack of service they provided and I hope no one else gets treated like I did. Two thumbs down for Glen Burnie Ashley Furniture, Never Again, Avoid With All Costs!

My bedroom set was delivered yesterday (1/23/24) and the wrong rails were sent. I sent them back and spoke to the warehouse supervisor and was told they would deliver the correct rails the next day. I have not received a delivery time so I called the warehouse. I expressed to the supervisor that I needed the rails on 1/23/24 but no later than 1/24/24 the response I received was the call being disconnected. I called back immediately and no answer. This is unacceptable, since I see other reviews with wrong parts being delivered.

I always purchase my furniture from Ashley's. I usually go to a different location- but this one was nearby at the time.. We had two salesmen arguing over our sale in the middle of the showroom and it was quite embarrassing. Manager was involved and waived our shipping fee. Would probably recommend another location.

Avoid their financing company. The monthly payments are cheap for a reason. After the promotional period, the interest rate is so HIGH that you will pay 3X the purchase price & you will be stuck with the furniture bill for YEARS.
Bought a mattress they delivered the wrong one first when they delivered the right one it was defective kept poking me in side and it the most uncomfortable thing ever. I went back to the store and they said that there was nothing they could do. Now I have a bill for 2 k and a defective mattress. They rip you off

Went into the Ashley Showroom in Glen Burnie to look into an outdoor patio set I saw online. They had the set we were interested in and decided to buy it. Our salesman Sean, had a great customer service attitude and was very knowledgeable on the set we were interested in. I also found a couple items to decorate the porch with. Checking out at the service area Patience was a sweetie in making my transaction easy. Kudos to both employees for their kindness today!

I would like to offer an opinion on the service, but I cannot. I visited your store on June 9th at about 10:00. I walked around looking for a dining room and a bedroom set. I saw what I thought were salespeople relaxing with their phones. Your chairs look comfortable. I passed by them several times, but neither seemed to even look up. This was until a White couple entered. A salesman ran over to greet them. This is the same one that ignored me, a Black man, on multiple occasions. I guess it is a win-win. You don't seem to want my business, and I don't want to give it to you.

This is the worst furniture store along with their service center/warehouse in Brandywine MD. My dining room chairs started coming apart after two weeks. I paid $934.92 for 6 chairs. I have been calling and trying to get replacement since January 2022. Warehouse and Finance Department Ms. R...lied stating they had a resolution for me to go to Lowes to get the parts for the chairs. It is not my responsibility to repair new chairs because they had screws missing out of each chair. When they stated they would order the screws but it would take a long time - 6 months. Now she told the credit card dispute department that the screws are coming from overseas and next container is to arrive May 2023!! Stay away from this store, their warehouse, and store credit card. We haven't been able to sit on our chairs for 1 1/2 years by the time we may or may not get the screws for the chairs!! Horrible service!!
The Worse service you could possible imagine. The staff was unfriendly and did not Know the products on the floor. The sales person had such a heavy scent of cigarettes I could barley breath. The process of getting my purchased order to be added up took fifteen minutes. Then several things I did not purchase were added to my check out Bill. This took an additional Ten minutes to correct. It gets worse, I know you thinking I'm kidding. I ordered furniture from another Ashley store. I'm told they can't put furniture on same delivery truck because coming from TWO different stores. So I pay $119 for two separate deliveries. Now all my furniture is on the same truck paying delivery twice , which I was told couldn't be done. I spoke to the Store manager Mr Arron Reed , no Help whatsoever. Bottom line don't shop in Glen Burnie Ashley store. Very unprofessional, unreasonable & dishonest. I was told by the sales person not too worry about the double booked delivery. Now I'm out $119.00
I had the worse experience ever with them. Ordered a table with 4 chairs, my chairs were not put together correctly and when i called customer service 7 times they told me someone will come out Jan 4 to fix them. I will never order from them again.
I was there at ashley furniture yesterday and the sales lady was very strong personality and argued with me. We had a mailer advertisement for upto50% and she said there was no such thing and the manger lied as well that it was only online. Me and my husband said call us when you get the numbers and until now they have not called. We went to Regency furniture at glenburnie md and bought a whole bedroom set at 60% off and great service from both sales person and manger. 12 Yeats of doing business with Ashley furniture has made me regret ever doing business with them . Terrible Customer service and support. Purchased multiple pieces of furniture along with the 5 Year Protection Plan from GBS that Ashley promoted to me. Reclining sofa stopped working and I called to have it repaired. Technician told me the mechanics and electrical in the sofa were junk. GBS denied the warranty claim stating it was a manufacturers defect. Ashley is selling furniture with known manufacturers defects (per the technician) and selling a 3rd party warranty that won't cover the defects. We have tried multiple times to speak with customer service or a Regional/District Manager who could hear and understand my complaints. Unfortunately nobody at Ashley seems to care about the situation because I have gotten zero response or resolution. I have stopped in the store several times and I have given plenty of opportunity to rectify the situation. This has been dragging out for over two months. The store managers can't even get a response from their superiors so I can only assume they don't care. Ashley has turned a very loyal customer into an unhappy customer by just ignoring the situation and not doing what is right. I would expect the same if you decide to purchase anything from Ashley.
There's a reason why Ashley Furniture is so highly rated and considered the best large furniture company - the entire team there was amazing. Ajanni took care of my wife and I and we were able to get a sectional, reclining chair and rug for an awesome price with a great warranty with no *hidden loopholes*. They were very accommodating and open with us, super patient and was able to handle everything we wanted! No complaints, just happiness.

I use to love Ashley's Furniture however that has changed sadly the customer service they use to give at the Glen Burnie location use to be absolutely wonderful. They need new staff they are very unprofessional and do not know how to deal with customers when there is a problem however their manager Erin is great with solving issues if I could give him induvial stars I would. The star will hang up on you not answer the phone if they recognize your number I literally had to block my number to get a answer
Do not buy from Ashley!! You are forewarned! Look elsewhere! I tried to contact their support several times over several months to allow them to address our concerns regarding the damaged dining table set they delivered to us and over 3 months later, no answer or resolution! They completely disregarded our concerns and never sent the replacement parts. We received missing screws, badly damaged & chipped wood parts, and when moving the dining table, the base is unstable and falls apart(as in the T-shaped piece in the photos)!! This was such a disappointment. Buyer beware. We will not be buying furniture ever again at Ashley! Update: Although it took a few months and this post, my issues have been rectified and Ashley's were able to replace the damaged furniture.

She worked hard to make sure we understood lead times for items not in stock and exactly what options we had. Our next stop was with the General Manager Aaron. I purchased a dinning room table back in January 25th, I was told that it was going to take up to 6 weeks to receive my order. I call six weeks later and they told me I should be getting my table by the en d of the month (March) they were supposed to call me to arrange delivery. It is now April 26th and I decided to call the store to find out what’s going on and now the lady” at the phone told me that my order is going to be at the store in JULY!!! I asked to cancel the order to what she said that I needed to go to the store, the. I ask for the manager and she hang up the phone. I called back and no answer. This is beyond ridiculous. My next email will be with corporate.

Customer service in store good. It was the after service that is an issue. Manager in store obviously is not familiar with service department. Filed ticket for service, over 2 weeks later still waiting for call back. Called store 4 days later and was told that it takes 7-12 days for them to call back. Waited no call, talked with customer service, said the ticket was waiting for pictures. Again manager never said anything. Sent pics told 48-72 hr for return call. Surprise no call. Called service dept. They told me they just saw email and will need 24hr to return call. Asked to speak to supervisor and advised no supervisors were available would be, yep, 24hr for callback. Ad long as no issue with furniture should be fine.
Still waiting after 16 weeks for my order to arrive. Every time I call, it gets pushed back another month. I know there are supply chain issues but they make it very difficult to even get in contact with someone. Some days I've called and it just rings for 5 minutes straight. Even the main store website does not have any contact information for a customer service line. They only want you to contact your specific store. After "chatting" with the virtual assistant online, I received a phone number for Regency Furniture... ? Very disappointing. I'd highly recommend going somewhere else for furniture needs. Communication is key to satisfied customers.
I loved the bed when I picked it out. For the future I will get my furniture from somewhere else. The companies sale the furniture hire a contractor and you get the furniture through them. Its crazy to me. I got my furniture delivered a few weeks ago they where suppose to take it back and ship me a new one. It took less than a week and it was the same furniture.

I've had bad experiences with Ashley but I had finally learned my lesson with them now. I had originally bought a bed set and mattress from Ashley's. After ordering, the lead time for both items changed from what was originally told to me. I cancelled the bed set and got that elsewhere. I stuck with the mattress. After 5+ weeks of waiting, the mattress finally arrived. The guys who delivered the mattress asked me where I wanted it, which I replied upstairs (1flight). They then went back to the truck to grab the mattress and said that the mattress was too cold to bring upstairs and the it would not bend around the railing. They then set it in my living room and left. Why'd I get charged a couple hundred dollars to have it sit in my living room? I've had nothing but a terrible experience with Ashley's
I'm giving this store a 4, only because of the pricing. I know name-brand items will always be more expensive than off-brand items, but it's kinda ridiculous. As for the staff and cleanliness of the place, was immaculate. It was a great place to go to and feel better knowing it's not dirty. I would recommend, but as a back up plan.

If I could give no stars I would, absolutely horrible customer service and cheap quality furniture that breaks down within the first few months of use. Bought 2 reclining sofas in August and by November both are having issues with the footrests and one the wood frame inside the couch broke so backrest is literally hanging on the floor. I was conned into buying insurance on my 2 sofas and couldn't place a claim through them since it was too soon and had to contact the store where I made the purchase. Called the store on 11/23/21 placed a claim and never got a call back, called again later to get an update and I've gotten nothing but the run around. Called today 12/22/21 and was finally given a number to call, I call said number and they have no record of the claim I put in so now I have to start from scratch and do their job by taking photos and sending them in. I call the store back to inquire about why I was lied to and given the run around for a month being told "someone will call you it shouldn't be too much longer" and the manager is conveniently unavailable. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and would never buy anything from Ashley again, I shouldn't have issues with furniture this soon after purchase not too mention the same problem with both couches. My next step will be making complaints with Consumer Protection Agencies/BBB.
We shopped for furniture in June 2021, and this store had a decent selection and good prices. We were informed that supply chain disruptions would delay shipping, which was completely understandable. We finally received our shipment in December 2021. However, the customer service during these calls was abysmal. We had to call multiple times to confirm the status of our shipment. We ordered 2 couches and a dresser and if we had not canceled the dresser we would have waited until February 2022 for our delivery (without notice from the store) just because the store could not ship the couches separately!! We spoke to one employee at 12pm on a particular day, and called back about 3 hours later to check the status of our request, and this same person had barely any recollection of our call. Overall, go check out their selection but only buy things that are in stock and can ship immediately!!

I purchased a sofa at the Glen Burnie store in October and was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered in early December. My delivery came at the end of the day on a Friday and while the delivery team was nice, they were in a hurry to get out of there as soon as they pulled the wrapping off my furniture. After they left and I was moving the pillow and cushions around (my sofa has loose back cushions and a few throw pillows) I noticed 2 of the large back cushions were missing. The first picture is of the sofa in the store, the second is what I got. I called the store and was assured the issue would be resolved. That was almost 2 weeks ago and so far nobody has bothered to return my call. I've called almost every day since then and am told there is a ticket into the warehouse to see where the cushions are. The manger was supposed to call me back with a better resolution but he hasn't. Not sure how I'll get this fixed but I would be cautious about recommending them due to lack of communication. UPDATE: My cushions showed up today! While still not 100% happy with how this situation played out, they did ultimately make it right in the end.

So my wife and I bought two Sofas about 4-5 months ago. We spent around $1,200 each for these manual reclining sofas. All I gotta say is the the leg rest that reclines out is not made for bigger guts. Heck the whole sofa isn't made for big guys. The back rest reclining position doesn't stay up anymore it. The wood is cracked the cheaply made metal is bent. All in all these Sofas are cheap. I think I could of gotten better quality at a no name furniture store. I think I'll go back to Lazy boy. At least there sofas are made of steel and can handle adults. It's ridiculous you spend a this money on no good quality furniture only for them to fail miserably.
Never order from them again. Been waiting for 14 weeks for a coffee table and end tables and still no word. Called few weeks ago and they said would be here on the 7th and didn’t come. Called again said it would be on the 16th. Then tried to call the store for hours and no answer. Went to the store to see the girl on her personal phone and not answering the business line. Now they tell me its on back order after all this time. Don’t ever waste your time with this company. Go somewhere else.
After a 16 week wait for an item purchased in July that became a 2022 arrival guess what I did- CANCEL. Looked around picked another item out, really liked more than item #1, guess what the wait time that was stated - 16 Weeks. We'll see.
Just horrible. We ordered furniture in May! We got part of the order mid-October, but are still waiting on some of it, it's now mid-November, and I keep getting told to sit tight and wait. I understand there are supply chain issues, but I was told in May that usually it's a 4 weeks delivery window, but they promise it by 16 weeks just to be safe. That was a huge lie, reading other reviews, 4 weeks is definitely NOT their usual. It's been well over 16 weeks. I was finally able to get ahold of someone today and they told me that the piece we are waiting on was delivered to the wrong warehouse and to continue to wait. Please stop lying to your customers, be honest when they are buying. Let them know it might take 7 months for them to get their furniture!
I ordered my furniture on July 7th. It's been over 4 months and still nothing. I called and nobody answer. I go there and the store manager ,Kevin said " I DON'T HAVE TIME TO ARGUE WITH THESE PEOPLE". I ended up canceling the order and will never go there again. Go to VCF up the street from there...

In July 2021 we ordered a bed and two night stands. Of course, all were back ordered with the bed being delivered early November and tables in December. The bed was brought to our home November 5th but was missing a part, so the warehouse told to return it and they would re-deliver it all together.When we called to check out when it would be delivered, they informed us that they had sold our set to someone else and now we wouldn't get ours until February 2022!!Stay as far away from this company as possible.

If I could give this place a -10 I would horrible customer service I ordered a bedroom set and a living room set they delivered the bedroom set 2weeks after I bought it then it didn’t have all the parts to put the bed together 3weeks later they delivered the parts I ask the corporate office for compensation 1week later they called and offered me a 25 dollars gift card I was told my couch and love seat would be in on the 22 of October called today now another week out this place is a joke from the owners to the corporation to the store no help what so ever do not buy from them.
Shankar was very diligent in assisting me today. He truly went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. He took the time to understand my style and taste, so that he was able to suggest comparable substitutes if an item I desired was unavailable. He also checked the warehouse to see which items would be ready for my move in date, opposed to me having to wait for months to receive items. It was a very pleasant experience.

I ordered a bedroom set in June and it is now ending September, we received a call today saying everything is in however the furniture won’t be delivered for another 3 weeks. The saleswoman at the time of purchase told us “oh it says 16 weeks but it should be here in 4. Now 4 months later we’re still waiting. I spoke to a manager today and he was so unhelpful and refused to even give the store manager’s full name. Just completely unapologetic and matter of fact. No offering for the inconvenience that this has caused. Very unfortunate. Luckily only a month ago we had a wonderful experience at the Pulaski HWY location, therefore we won’t cut Ashely Furniture off as a whole, however the Glen Burnie location will never receive a dime from us ever again.
Purchased a new bed about 8 weeks ago. I was told breakdown of current bed and setup of new bed was covered. I signed the contract. Fast forward to delivery date and the guys refused to break down my old bed and tried to get me to take delivery of my bed. I called the store and Kevin, store manager, was worthless. He even told me, "I am offering you a new date for delivery, it sounds like you aren't willing to accept my offer of customer service." I called corporate and logged a complaint. My new date for delivery is now 3 weeks out. .. i bet money they stick me at the last time on the delivery date. NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN!
Seriously the worst service I have ever received. Would avoid this store and location like the plague! Due to covid lead times are expected and understandable. However, lack of communication, laziness, and unprofessionalism is not what you want when you’ve spent thousands on furniture. We ordered a sectional in store several months ago where girls at the front desk are texting during checkout and you can tell they have little to no experience based upon their answers regarding updates, installation, and follow up. After a few months we never received a single follow up call after paying for our sofa in full. We have since then reached out on numerous occasions and have been given absolutely zero information on when our sofa will arrive. They continue to tell us that “the company is being bought out or taken over by someone new and they can’t provide install dates.” Again, I get covid is causing long lead times along with foam shortages but you need to be more open with customers rather than lie to our faces. We backed out of our order and will never ever return to this location or any Ashley Furniture store again. Not worth the wait or the lack of service
I have been waiting for my furniture since June 5. Every time I call, the push the delivery date back. No one has give me a real date. Its only by estimation. I been told August 30 for the last 10 weeks. Now they told me the end of September. Ridiculous!!!!! The manager is no help. No one knows the corporate name for me to call and make a complaint. I bought a $2500 dining set. We opted to pick it up ourselves from the warehouse because we own a trailer. We picked the set of 7 large boxes up at the end of April. Our home was being renovated, so we felt it would be safer to leave the disassembled furniture in their shipping boxes until construction was completed. We opened the boxes and assembled the furniture the first week of August. At that time, we identified a deep scratch on table top and a smashed corner of the bench. They came out I of the shipping box like that. I called Ashley Home Store the following day. They asked me to send pictures, which I did so they could send someone to repair the damage. Didn’t hear a word, so called them 10 days later. I was told the damage was cosmetic and there was nothing they could/would do about it but if I didn’t like that answer, I could call “Corporate”. I was told by Corporate that I only had 72 hours from pick up to report damage. Of course, that fact was never specified either at time of purchase or pick-up. I believe when you spend that kind of money on NEW furniture, you should expect to get undamaged goods or the company would make it right. Not the case with Ashley. Once again, the consumer gets screwed!

Shady advertisement. Signs everywhere stating free delivery charge. Don't believe it. Furniture overpriced. Value City is a much better place. Also no refunds. Only store credit. Stay FAR AWAY. I purchased a sectional couch and dining set in February 2021. I was told at the time of purchase my items would be delivered between 8 - 12 weeks. It has now been 15+ weeks and they did a partial delivery of just the couch. (STILL do not have dining set!!) The couch that was delivered is the WRONG COLOR!! I had attempted to call the store 7+ times yesterday, and no one answered. It simply rang off the hook. I've reached out to customer care, and have not received a response. This is by far one of the biggest decisions I have regret making, as we have gone so many months without furniture, and when we finally get some of the order, it's the WRONG THING!!! Stay far away. Do not make the same mistake I did.
I ordered my furniture on 2/9/2021, it is now 6/3/2021 with a delivery date of 6/4/2021 and even though I’ve confirmed multiple times of the delivery address I now have to cancel my delivery due to Ashleys giving the dispatch place the wrong address. I now have to wait for the truck that has my furniture on it to get back from their deliveries tomorrow to unload and rescan my items just to SCHEDULE another delivery date. UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE. Almost a month passed my confirmed delivery of 8-12 weeks, 12 weeks in this case, and I still do not have a scheduled delivery. Will never be buying furniture from here again.

13th week and waiting for an actual delivery date. Were told up to 12 weeks, for the past 4 weeks when we call same lady answers and tells us there are 48 coming in next day, no follow up. Then we have 100 coming in, no follow up. Then we have 24 coming in then no follow up. When we asked to speak with a rep were told it comes from a manufacturer overseas and no way to speak with someone. Our next call will be to cancel order when this same trained liar tells us more fake expectations. We only ordered a sofa nothing else! Promised my current one to family that lost everything in a fire 8 weeks ago not just impacting us. Shame shame...
I have been looking to replace some furniture. So am browsing around at different places. Ashley is one of the places I looked. Ashle is VERY similar to another store. There is always someone to greet you at the door. They help you browse for what you want. Its easy and informative. Both stores are so similar that it's the salesmanship of the person you are working with that makes the deal. Both have basically the same decor. It made me think that I could be a salesman in compilation with other stores and just have a better approach to customers. In both stores the sales staff were not smiling or looked sad. But I can understand. Both parking lots were empty!!! I was the only customer..... . .
HORRIBLE experience. My fiance and I ordered a sectional and dining room set from them on December 14, 2020. We only ordered our dining set from them because they were on sale and offered free delivery with a purchase over $2000 and we were set on getting the sectional. We were told both would arrive by the end of January. By January they changed the delivery time to February. Then changed it to April. Then when we called to ask about it they said, "Oh it'll be here in March." Our dining set arrived mid- to end of February, which was great. Now we are at the end of April and STILL no sectional. Which would be understandable because of COVID, however every single week they give us a new timeline of when to expect it. "It''ll be in tomorrow," they say. When it doesn't arrive, we call and they say, "Oh no it will be in next week." This is how the conversation goes every single time we call. Today my fiance went to get an update and see if we can get a couch that they have in stock because we need a couch ASAP as it's been over four months without one. After they were rude and unheplful, my fiance cancelled our order. And Ashley Furniture tries to say we now have to pay more for the dining set we've already had for several months and will also have to pay for delivery on it since we're no longer getting the sectional ??? My fiance said we're not paying more and wants to return that too and they said no. Absolutely terrible service and experience. Please avoid shopping with them at all costs. I wish we had just canceled our order back in February; they are not worth the hassle. I cannot communicate enough how unpleasant and frustrating this experience has been. I'm usually pretty understanding about order delays and things that are outside of the employees' control, but they've made no effort to provide helpful customer service. If this was just a delayed couch, it would be one thing. But it's the poor service that's making me write this review. Every time we've called asking for updates or alternative solutions over the past few months they've been either rude, unresponsive, or just plainly unhelpful. Please avoid this store.

Every time I come here it is difficult for me to get assistance. I went over this past weekend and twice a couple months ago. I don't know if it's the way I look or what. I just get the vibe that they are only running to patrons that look like they may be spending more money. My last time purchasing furniture I got from Ashley's, however, another company who were attentive and friendly with me has my business now. Shame, I liked my Ashley's furniture.

Great experience! A friend suggested that I check out this store to furnish my new home. I found a sofa and love seat that matched my new living room perfectly! Bought the couch on Monday and it was delivered on Friday! It’s very well made and comfortable! Everyone was very professional and made this a super easy process. In love with my new furniture. I would/will purchase from this store again!

Awful experience. If you would like to enjoy your furniture within the same decade, you might want to consider purchasing from somewhere else. I purchased a couch around 8/22/2020 and as of today, 2/27/2021, I still have no couch and zero valid explanation. They were so nice and helpful up until they took my money, but here we are a half a year later, and they have been so unresponsive and do not care. They told me 4-12 weeks and we are now going into month 7 and I have not even received a simple “sorry for your inconvenience” from anyone. Every 3 weeks they call to push the date out 2-4 weeks. There was no transparency. Based on other reviews from here and other locations, this is not brand new to this company, they were fully aware of the issues they were facing and wasted no time taking my money. When I was purchasing this couch, a couple was in the store with the same complaints and getting a refund. I should have left at that point. The “manager” is a joke and very unprofessional. His bright idea was to tell me I could cancel it. Thanks genius! Again, not a sorry, not a “we will credit you a percentage for your inconvenience," not an “I can help you find something similar that we could get to you sooner,” not a “we will relay your concern higher up and see how we can make this better,” NOTHING! Corporate office is also a joke, so it’s no wonder this place is ran so bad. When I called them they instructed me to call the location I purchased from??? Right, because I didn’t think of that and that proved to be helpful? I canceled my order today. Seems like a scam to me. They lure you with the great deals, take your money, and never provide you with a product. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I found the same couch online for much cheaper. Do as someone else suggested- go to the store to look and try out but order online.

We ordered a sectional from them, it took over 2 months to be delivered. The day of delivery, we didn't realize it would come in such BIG pieces. We measured and it should've fit our space perfectly, but the delivery people weren't able to get it up our steps. Disappointed, but we probably should've measured the space in the stairwell. We went to the store a few days later to get our refund. THEY CHARGE A 30% RESTOCKING FEE! This couch was NOT a custom piece! Standard restocking fees are 10-15%. So they took almost $500 from me for nothing. If you ever decide to buy anything from there just know, their restocking fee is absolutely ridiculous if you ever have to return it. Won't be buying anything from Ashley Furniture again.
I purchased $4000 worth of furniture from Ashley, with the extra 5 year warranty. My end table and TV stand began to fall apart. I tried multiple times to have them honor my warranty on these items but they told me they were on separate invoices( even though I purchased everything on the same day and time) so the warranty would not cover these specific items. I made several calls to both the store and to corporate. I never recieved a call back. I even went back to the store, only to be told nothing could be done even though it was their mistake.
Overpriced. Couldn't find anything close to what we wanted. Had better luck on Wayfair.
Great place for furniture lovers
Worst experience, worst team and worst customer support I've ever been involved with. We paid in full up front and received "4-12 weeks plus delivery" after we signed. Spent the next few weeks trying to get tracking information to plan accordingly. Emailed every email with no reply (still haven't gotten one). Placed 15 calls to customer service (hours on the phone each) to be told only the store can help. Weekly calls to the store to get shifts in delivery every time (min 2 weeks each time). We were told the store manager is out, left early or unavailable. Most recently we called to be told "sometime in January" for delivery. The only resolution to date is "you can cancel and maybe find something in stock, we will have someone call you back to help".....no one ever calls back. After 14weeks of waiting we finally get ahold of the store manager and he tells us he will look into maybe giving us a $100 back for our trouble, he will call us back after some research...3 days and still no call. I am a repeat customer with years of buying from other stores, the Glen Burnie store is horrible and poorly run. Their customer service is deplorable and the Ashley brand should be ashamed that their customers pay in full with expectation of brand integrity and reasonable delivery, but, instead get fake updates, and recommendations of buying something else. I will be expected to wait over 18 weeks for a couch, that I will dislike every day I see it because of how miserable this experience has been, But, I will ensure every guest, friend, family member and business partner does everything they can to stay away from the Ashley Brand and most importantly the Glen Burnie store. This will go up on every review board.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I been waiting for my couches since July 15th. It is now November 13th, and I called to be told the other half of my couch won't be in until the end of this month. It's been 4 months and still don't have anything to show for it. The customer service is a joke and seem to blame everything on covid. They are also lazy on getting info to you when you inquire. Also , when you talk to them they make it sound like you are an in convince with a rude tone. You can only use the covid excuse for so long. I have actually called around and other places are backed up 2 week behind not 3 months. So please take your money else where, and don't waste your time.
I made an in-store purchase on 01/03/2020 and delivery was scheduled for 01/16/2020 with a four hour window between 11am and 3pm. I received my delivery around 12:30pm; which I thought was excellent. However, I didn't receive my total purchase. I asked the guys, where is my ottoman? They didn't understand what I was saying because they didn't speak English and I'm fluent in Spanish. Therefore, communication was horrible. I called to find out where my ottoman was and was told I'd get it as soon as another delivery could be scheduled. Not to mention, I had already paid an additional charge to receive the ottoman and still had to wait. This was my first purchase and it may be my last.

Purchased a sectional and full bedroom set from the Glen Burnie store. My sectional in stock date has been delayed 3 times each time being 2 more weeks out. When I spoke with the staff they were less than helpful almost as if I was a hindrance to them. Finally, I was able to speak to the store manager who said he would look into it and get back to me later that night or first thing the next day. Well, three days later no call back and still the same run around. He must never be at his store because I’m constantly being told he is off or went home early. If I would have know the customer support was going to be so poor I would have taken my business somewhere else. It’s very sad to say that I was a first time customer and now will be a last time customer of Ashley. Received message from customer support asking for my invoice number and contact info after this post. I immediately provided it and never was contacted by them. I had to call a half dozen more times to finally get someone. Here I am at the end of September and finally getting my furniture this week that I ordered in the first week of July. No credit towards my purchase has been offered or applied to my account. One staff member offered store credit 😂. Why would I ever want to buy anything else from you guys. Very poor customer service from corporate all the way to the store level.

If you want to work with a store manager and District Manager that are unprofessional and do not own their mistakes than you've come to the right store. If you want to never receive updates and ignored phone calls and emails, than this is the place for you. I purchased several pieces of furniture towards the end of May and to my surprise had it delivered only days later. When I received the furniture the bedframe was incorrect and another piece was malfunctional. I advised the delivery people and they told me to go to the store. I went to the store and it was a huge hassle...for them apparently. I showed them pictures and video of the malfunctioning item and they said they would look into it. They reordered the frame and I thought that was it. I periodically would check in with the store over the following weeks seeing as they never gave me updates. Eventually I went into the store to inquire about my furniture and was told almost verbatim by the store manager "Oops, my bad. I guess I was supposed to check the system manually for your furniture. It had been here for 2 weeks and since it wasn't claimed they sent it back to PA and has been pieced out to other people." When I asked about the broken furniture I was told it was taken care of. At this point I called the DM who said it was unprofessional and unacceptable and he would take care of it. I never heard from him again and he seems to dodge my calls and doesn't return my messages. Needless to say I contacted corporate and only then did I find out about the status of my bed which was still weeks outbut also found out the store manager AND district manager never scheduled a tech to repair it or replace it. They essentially lied to my face that they scheduled things. I had to do their job in order to get my furniture taken care of. I have written and called several times to the store and district manager about compensating me for my time doing their job. I have emailed the contact@ashley email and no response. Shocker. I have dealt with customer service corporate and they advised to try and get the store to compensate me before they suggested further corporate dealings. If I were you I would avoid this store particularly but also the Catonsville and Columbia locations since I know those are run by the same district manager. He surely isn't going to help anyone.

I didn't like how the sales associate was not tentative to my needs and was rushing me while giving outlandish prices when the website was totally different price. His personality didn't make me want to spend my money at this store.
DON'T BUY FROM this store. They take your money and do not communicate when your furniture is being delivered. I had to call the store three times. I was told my furniture was pushed back again till the end of October. I bought my furniture in July. They will NOT refund unless you go back to the store. I can not reach anyone on the customer service line. The people who answer the phone are so rude and not helpful. Do yourself a favor do not buy here.
Well I have to give it at least one star to be able to write a review. It all started when my dad and I went to the Ashley&'s to just look at the getting furniture. We were just trying to see what the options were out there right now. The sales person Kevin basically bullied us into buying the furniture that day by telling us it was the last day for the percentage off and the free financing. When the furniture got delivered it was nothing like the display in the store. We went back to try and get a replacement furniture set. Everything was going good. They passed us off to Sterling. Supposed to be a manager of some type. Everything was set up for delivery. Then Covid happened. So no deliveries. When I go back to set a new date when things opened back up I was giving the run a round. Sterling said I had to email his manager Douglas Gemza. I had several good emails with him saying that Sterling was supposed to get in touch with me and set up a time for the delivery. Sterling did not do that. Now he plays a hide and go seek game every time We go in. When you finally can catch him all he says is it&'s on order. I called corporate and got them involved and even filled a claim with the BBB so right now I guess I&'m waiting for furniture or some one to see that their employees are hurting their business and find a solution.

ALL LIES!!!!All their furniture is available online for cheaper than in store. Look for it on Amazon, Walmart, or just do a google search. I went to the store with my sister. I had no intention on buying anything. The salesman, woMr.w Geoff Sprague, who worked with my sister was so very helpful and kind both times we were there. He made me want to purchase a reclining sofa and loveseat 😀. I thank him and the store manager, Mr. Sterling for their excellent service.
Unfortunately, this horrible company stays in business. The furniture is extremely over priced in the stores and the service is simply miserable. Please do buy anything from Ashley unless you want subpar furniture and horrible customer service. I had a credit for not using our warranty and was lied too about how I could use it. Being forced into the store 🙄 to make a purchase made my skin crawl. This store is junky and disheveled. Everything is out of place. The same items online are more than 100 cheaper than in the store with free shipping. The so called store general manager, Sterling was so preoccupied with watching videos on his phone that he wouldn't respond to requests while we stood their watching him. He also refused to put his mask over his nose. When I requested the store number , he didn't know it and had to ask. You are the store manager. I immediately called corporate and was lied too over 4 times. Tamieka said she had taked with the district manager but couldn't recall his name. When pressed, she had never spoken to him. The store manager told me my credit was good for 90 day. It's only good for 30. I would have lost my credit. Their policies depend on if the manager likes you. I was told to call around and see if a manger would be willing to give the online price, because there is no policy saying they can't. It just depends on if they like you. What kind of shady unprofessional store is this.I asked for the district manager to call me. Of course he didn't. STAY AWAY, RUN, DON'T STOP OR LOOK AT THIS PLACE. LET THEM GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
Awesome store and great prices
I purchased a bed and realized it was defective. I called an reached a customer service rep, who said I could return the bed. She said to expect a phone call from a person who would pick it up. I never received a phone call. I called back multiple times, never got through but left a message several times. Nobody called me back. My husband called and never got through. We finally reached somebody after weeks of trying. The rep said since it had been over 72 hours they could not process the return. We were never told this. Also, we never got a call back and I was initially told I could return the bed. I told her we were told we could return the bed. She said she didn&'t have record of that. I told her that it&'s not my fault the didn&'t record the call; and I left multiple voicemails and never received a call back. She sarcastically said she would check the voicemails and hung up on me. This is absolutely unacceptable and needs to be resolved ASAP.
I bought sofa from Ashley with 5 years protection plan but sofa was peel within year and i called them they said it is not covered . Dont buy from any item from Ashley bec the item is very cheap qulity and you waste your money 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a sofa that came to my home damaged. I was made to pay a $75 pick up fee to have them come get the sofa from my home, before they would reimburse me the money I put down on the sofa I was purchasing. After the pick up I have gone to the store on numerous occasions to get my money back and I still have not gotten it. I call and I get no return call back. Customer service is horrible. If you have a problem with your purchase buyer beware! I lost over $300 and never purchased anything from them!!! They are friendly when you are buying from them, but not when you have an issue!!

Lie about prices. Jack up the prices extremely high and then knock some off and act like they're giving you a sale. If you go online the prices of the furniture are always much cheaper than in that store.

My fiancé and I went into the store with just a thought to look around for a living room set but we have an amazing experience and ended up purchasing a sleeper sofa, storage ottoman and seat and a half. Geoffy was very kind, helpful and was there for all my many questions. He was great a helping price out some sets for us. We then spoke with Kelly who was very nice and helped check us out with no problem. We had a great experience and look forward to out furniture being delivered! Thank you so much Geoffy and Kelly!

I had a very bad experience and customer service dont go to Ashley HomeStore in Glen Burnie Maryland I order a bed set in December 20, 2019 the bed came January 18 2020 and the headboard had big damage I returned it back and than nobody called 2 weeks later I kept calling the store and than i went to talk to the manager there and he said sorry this is the warehouse fault and he said I'm gonna call you the next day and he didn't call me and after two days later i called back to the store and they said there is no option for me and only i can only order another one and the bed came on February 15, 2020 and they came in everything was good but than they told me the footboard had missing screws than the warehouse manager talked me and his name was mark and he kept interpreting me when say what happened than he only says sorry and im gonna call you Monday nobody called me and nobody cares about the customer and now I talked to the store and now I didn't get help I talked to the warehouse and still didn't get help I need for them.
I stopped by this store in the market for a new couch (definitely had the budget for it), and to see in person what specials this store location had to offer. However, when compared to Ashley’s prices online, this stores MSRPs were by far marked up beyond reason. A lot of my previous furniture is from Ashley furniture and I’ve bought from multiple Ashley retailers in multiple states. I do understand that the Ashley is franchise and that each location can act as an independent owner with certain rights to make their own changes. HOWEVER, this store removed all the original Ashley price tags, that should have a barcode, and they had printed their own (poor looking) tags. Which didn’t hold any other specifications on it. A sale was going on, stating 50% off, yet the prices were marked up astronomically you would still pay more than the original suggest msrp. Not actually leaving you with a deal. Pros: I will say, they did have a variety of furniture that you could see in person if you researched online. The location and facilities were clean. It was wide and spacious and parking wasn’t lacking. Overall, I’ll probably just use Ashley online and try to avoid this store, as the sales persons were just a little more pushy than I needed. Also the Ashley is by far cheapest prices, they did offer to possibly match online prices but to be honest I wasn’t in a mood to haggle. Now if you like haggling it may not be a bad idea to stop by this store. I gave 3 stars because I didn’t buy and thing and for the pros listed. Not for the quality of the furniture but more about the buying experience.
I would caution anybody on purchasing items from Ashley Furniture due to the poor customer service. My review applies to the Glen Burnie store but also the district level office. I purchased some furniture for my living room on Dec 16. It was delivered on the 22nd and placed in the basement because I was busy doing some repairs to the house I had just moved in. I moved the furniture upstairs on the 26th and noticed that the zipper for one of the cushions was busted and that the Chair for the set did not match the other two units. On the 28th, I went to the store and spoke to the GM. He asked me to send him via email a picture of the busted cushion and the mismatched chair. I did what he asked. After not getting a response from four follow up emails and three store phone calls where I left messages, I personally went to the store and spoke to the GM. He was clueless on what I was talking about. I told the manager that due to the poor customer service I received I no longer wanted the merchandise. He told me on that day that he would try to pick it up and that he would call me back that day. HE NEVER CALLED ME. I sent three follow up emails and left three more phone messages within the following week and NOBODY CALLED BACK. I decided to call the customer care at the district level and explained to them my problem. I was informed that my problem would be brought up at the District manager level. I waited for a week and NOBODY CALLED BACK. After a week, I called the District level again, this time, I was patched to the Glen Burnie Store. A different manager, other than the GM, told me that there was nothing that they could do because 72 hours after the delivery had gone by and that I had not reported my problem. This was the answer I got after trying to solve this Issue for OVER A MONTH. I understand the 72 hours rule for reporting a problem once something was delivered. With this said, some common sense must apply. 1. Merchandise was delivered to a dark basement. 2. The company claims that the furniture has a one-year warranty. I would suspect that they could have sent somebody to take care of the cushion. (BTW I also purchased the 5 year plan.) 3. The chair does not match the color of the other two units. Here I am writing about this almost two months, eight emails, multiple calls to the store, and two calls to the “customer care” line. I placed a credit card dispute. I am hoping that somebody at a higher level reads this and helps me out. Despite all of the negative experience I still have hopes that Ashely Furniture (Owned by Regency) works with me towards a positive outcome. In such case, I would edit my review.
We went into the store just to look and found so many things we liked. Aaron Reed was a Rock Star in allowing us space and time to look in peace but keeping an eye on is to be sure to help if we had questions. We ended up getting three rooms of furniture, and Aaron did an awesome job getting us the best price and service! He was knowledgeable about all the products and was very accommodating with having our delivery scheduled for us. And during the purchasing process, Kelly was exceptional, too!
when we entered the store we were promptly and courteously greeted by our sales rep Aaron. He answered all of my questions and was able to show me a piece that i was looking for at a price within my range. I then made my purchase with Leslie the customer service rep who went over all the details including my warranty and delivery info. Altogether a great experience that i would recommend for anyone buying furniture and i will return for future purchases.

My husband and I just moved into our first apartment and we had nothing! Shankar (aka Sean) was extremely helpful and welcoming. He was very open about his personal experiences with whatever mattress and also couch we picked out. Our goal was to just get our sectional, but we ended up also purchasing a mattress and bed frame! We will definitely go back to Ashley&'s furniture, most likely this location as well for the rest of our furniture..
My wife and I needed some family room furniture so the first place we went was Ashley (we went during a holiday sale). This is because we bought a bedroom set there a couple years before and we liked the value and experience we received. We were greeted by Abdul S. as we walked in the store. I was impressed that he recognized us from our last visit over two years ago. He was no pressure at all and was there for us when we had questions. My wife saw something she really liked. That’s what it’s all about - right ;). Abdul gave us what I thought was a good deal (I didn’t have to haggle). I shook his hand and then Kelly did the post sale work. Both Abdul and Kelly were very pleasant and courteous. We will be back.

Abdul Shakoor was the absolute best! My husband and I literally has to start over buying furniture because we lost everything in a house fire. Abdul was very patient but not overbearing. He hung by but not too much in case we had questions. We told him the situation and that we needed to furnish 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, and family room. All I can say is that Abdul was amazing! He made some things happen in a short amount of time considering all we ordered. He personally called us to let us know that our furniture would be delivered on the day we were to move back in our house. Our furniture was delivered, installed by his amazing team, and swiftly. Bought a couch in November, and scheduled it to be delivered Jan 18th. They had a "truck break down" and rescheduled Monday 1/20th so I had to take off work to receive. No correspondence since. No one at warehouse or store will advise on delivery. Contemplating cancelling the order. All Ashley employees involved were rude and incompetent. NEVER SHOP HERE *Edit 1/22/2020 - Couch was delivered 1/21st, drivers attempted to get couch in front door, breaking storm door and broke a hole in the wall. When they couldn't fit in front door, they demanded $150 cash to carry around through rear entrance. FOLLOWED me to ATM to withdraw cash, then back home to carry couch around back. Tiffany Shultz, Administrative Assistant at the Brandywine corporate office has been the most RUDE and INCOMPETENT person I've ever spoke to. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS.
Do not go to this store. If you buy something and it ruined upon delivery they charge you a restocking fee if you don't want their damaged furniture. They don't repair the furniture as they should.
Last time I will order ANYTHING from Ashley. Purchased a bedroom set and a sofa and love seat. Was originally promised delivery in 1 to 3 weeks. So 6 weeks later we finally take delivery. Even the delivery guys came after the 4 hour delivery window. The actual furniture is average quality at best. Likely will have to replace in 5 years or less, and not from Ashley&'s.
I wish I could give them negative stars. I wish I had read the reviews before going here. I've used other Ashley Furniture's in other states but this one is shady and unreliable to say the least. We ordered our furniture in early November and it still has yet to be delivered. I call to follow up and get put on hold until I get hung up on or the "manager" never seems to be available. They've made three delivery attempts and each time have delivered the wrong items! We sit there with the delivery people with our invoice in hand and the item numbers they are delivering and it's completely incorrect. No one in the store seems to care or do anything to try to help us. The customer service is awful. No one cares there. Ashley corporate, reading the other reviews I would highly advise that you shut this store down. Super disappointed in your name being attached to this location and the employees in it.

We ordered a new bed frame and mattress, Aaron was super helpful and efficient with helping us find our dream bed! Leslie was awesome in processing our order. The staff overall was very friendly and made it a great experience I will definitely be back !
I Had purchased 2 couches on December 7 that’s would be available for pickup by the end of the week. My husband drove 2 hours to the warehouse to find out they were not even in stock. Our new estimate date to receive the couches would be first week of January. Now they called us on Friday stating the estimated date would now be January 15. This is absolutely unprofessional on their behalf.
Worst place to purchase furniture, im so livid! I bought my bedroom SETS since October and still haven’t recieved, first they told me dec 6 then dec 12 , then dec 17 now dec 22 ive been calling all day today no one picking up the phone, im highly disappointed as i wanted my furniture for Christmas/birthday, this is unacceptable! I will never go back and i do not recommend anyone going there!!!!!
Walked in and it took 10 mins for someone to try to help me (me & my family already knew it was our skin color) .. when we finally did get help the sale man was very pushy ! Now our couch is supposed to come today AND IVE BEEN CALLING 100 times to confirm a time and it just keeps ringing out .. you guys need to upgrade your phone line because this is unfair
Have an issue? Need to speak to their manager? Good luck. They're isn't one. You can ask over and over however they will tell you like a bad song stuck on repeat that they only work Wednesdays. Call on a Wednesday, and they'll tell you they're not there. Ashley Furniture, who is managing your store? No wonder it's two stars, it shows. Do not allow your salespeople; correction, con artists, to run the show. I use the word show because that is exactly what it is. You have curtains closed so the disorganized store appears to be in excellent standing. Don't even get me started on the orders you ship out. Can you believe the audacity to not ship legs to a couch? Seems pretty important if you ask me in order to finish a piece of furniture that was not cheap. Speaking of cheap. Did you know they will honor your coupons in store but then charge you full price once you leave? You can review the request over and over for the situation to be handled, yet somehow all you are left with is poor customer service and a lack of knowledge to be able to do something about it. Way to go Ashley Furniture. You have managed to irritate a very relaxed and clam minded individual. This location is fraudulent and disrespectful so I highly advise you looking elsewhere for your furniture needs.

Stopped in on 11/30/2019 to look at a mattress that my dad wants to get me as a Christmas present. I was looking online at the 14" Elite mattress that for a Queen size is listed as $359.99 plus tax on their website, so we wanted to stop in and look at it and possible buy it right there to take home. The mattress is almost right next to the door when you walk in so we walked over and saw that the mattress was listed as $899.99 plus tax, which is the same exact price that it was when I stopped in 3 months ago. They have a sign outside that reads "Mattress blow out sale" but all of the mattress's were the original retail price that they would be on any given day. So we asked a sales person, and I had showed him the same exact mattress that is listed on the website for the sale price and he said that is only online, which the website does not state at all. So I saw that the website has a price match guarantee and I asked if it was the same for in store and he said they would not price match the website to which my dad asked why and the consultant had informed us that "it's because the stores are franchised/independently owned and that they don't have to match the website. The website just cuts out the middle man (meaning cutting out the stores)." Every time I stop in here the prices are always over priced and their "sales" are not sales at all, save yourself the time and just shop online!

This store is horrible!!! My husband and i spent over $2,000 on furniture half we financed. First, Gerry the salesman tells us my bedroom set was missing it&'s headboard and would be in &"mid next week&" and my son&'s bedroom set would not be available until Mid December. The mid next week comes, and I have not heard from anyone. I call store, NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE and the voicemail is always full. I spoke with delivery and the associate tells me they can&'t see when my head Board is going to be available. So it&'s been two weeks and nobody has reached out to update us, and I have no idea where my furniture is or when it&'ll be delivered. The manager never called me back, and they turn their phones off early. The customer service is horrible and honestly I think the whole thing is a scam and the furniture is cheap, and poorly made. Any GOOD REVIEWS ON THIS SITE ARE OBVIOUSLY PAID FOR BY THE COMPANY OR PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! GO SOMEHWERE ELSE

This store sets its prices at *literally* twice the amount of the Ashley Furniture online store. The “Porter” nightstand is $900 at this store. The same nightstand is $350 online. This is because each Ashley store is independent and sets its own prices. Save your money, buy online.

George was AMAZING! He greeted my best friend and I as soon as we entered the building and informed us on the labor day sale they were offering. I was looking for bedroom furniture, since I&'ve literally have had the same set since I was 14, pathetic I&'m aware. I fell in love with a few pieces and George gave me an offer I could not refuse. He was so helpful, kind, and funny. 100% made it so easy to drop the kind of money that I did. I havent received my furniture yet, but I am so excited. Ya&'ll go see my mans George! I'm amazed this store is still in business. The complete and utter lack of respect and customer service that we received is truly astounding. Late last week, we were looking to buy a couch and love seat set and dealt with George, who at first appeared very friendly and helpful. He was quick to offer to help us "lower the price" and cut us "a good deal." He was all smiles as we signed up for a payment plan that was a bit higher than he originally quoted and we walked away feeling decently about it. Later on, we were looking online to price out some of their bar stools and we found the exact same couch and love seat set...for almost half the price we had just agreed to pay. Finding it weird, we looked at our contract which stated that we had 14 days to price match. We talked about it with George, who so generously offered us a whopping 5% discount. Shockingly, that didn't sit too well with us. We asked about either honoring the price or cancelling, to which he simply asked us to cancel. We talked to the manager, Sterling Moses, who told us he would match it. We asked about why we were told that we couldn't have that sale before, but he was too busy dancing to bother with replying. I get having fun at work, but not at the expense of customer service. When pressed, he gave a customer care number to call as if he didn't care to take care of an issue in his own store. The customer care number, by the way, wasn't even in service. We had to google the actual customer care number, which didn't do us much good as it was then Saturday and they aren't open on weekends! By the time we actually got ahold of someone, we would miss the 3 day window to cancel. So we decided to just count our losses and cancel our order entirely. I was at my weekend job, so my girlfriend went in to cancel our order, since apparently they can't do that over the phone. And yet, she was told that only I could cancel the order since we had put it under my name. I was forced to leave work to come and cancel the order, but when I showed up I was entirely unneeded. No ID was checked, it wasn't the same person who handled the original contract, they didn't even ask for my name! My girlfriend could literally have pulled a random person off the street and they would've cancelled the order without even checking to see if it was actually me. That's incredibly risky at best. Someone could've walked in and changed the delivery address and I would've ended up buying someone else's living room set. Before we cancelled, we asked again why the price was different from the online store. Manager Sterling Moses informed us that he wouldn't honor the online price because he didn't have to. I was absolutely floored at the audacity he had to tell customers, as they were cancelling an order, that he didn't have to honor the prices on the company website. As we left, we asked him for a business card. We wanted to know exactly who to blame for this fiasco, but he rolled his eyes and said he didn't have a business card. Surprised at this answer from the manager of the store, we asked to clarify "you don't have a business card?" He said "nope" and walked away as if he had better things to do than deal with angry customers. Who knows if Sterling Moses is even his real name? Save yourself the headache and order from their website, if you trust them enough to still buy from this company. It's not worth going into the store and being disrespected and treated like you don't matter.
Ashley furniture was having a great sale today! I found everything I needed with the help of Sharkar. He was very friendly and and provided fabulous customer service. Leslie completed my sale and was very friendly. I'll return to this store if I need more furniture in the future.

Wish I could give negative stars. Bought a recliner about 18 months ago, and the frame on the back of the chair broke. I bought the 5 year protection plan which the salesman assured me would cover the reclining mechanism as well as the frame for normal wear and tear. I try to get my chair fixed ashley furniture points me to the protection plan. The plan only covers soiling and staining of the fabric. I still have a little tag that came on the chair which says framing has a limited lifetime warranty. 18 months doesnt seem to be a lifetime of a recliner, try talking to the store they tell me to call corporate. Call corporate then they tell you to hold and disconnect you or transfer you some where else. The furniture must be designed to last just over a year so they can tell you sorry too bad. Their customer service is a joke. Buyers beware they are crooks and liars working at Ashley Furniture, you may be thinking your getting quality furniture but you would be better off going to Big Lots or using cardboard boxes because anything from Ashley is garbage. Called both (800) 477-2222 and (301) 782-3800 one tells you to call the other and vice versa. Both claim there is no such thing as a limited life time warranty to get my chair fixed.
Purchased bed on July 27th, bed arrived on August 1st with no legs for the footboard! Trouble ticket was entered on the 1st, was told I will have a 24 hour response... Had to call back on the 3rd, was told I will have a 72 hour response and the the part will take up to 10 days to show! Called back on 5th, they do not know if the parts were ordered. Finally they order my missing parts on the 6th. Still have to wait 7-10 days! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

This company has no integrity. I was also hung up on today. Then I was told there is no corporate office but I will find it in write a long letter about the treatment of their customers. This will be my first and last purchase from Ashley’s furniture.
The sales staff was grate now as far as the delivery people they spoke very little English I did not understand them they did not understand me. They did not want to move my bed or anything.
Furniture is beautiful but their online prices are much cheaper. They also don't let you know that so make sure you ask them to match the online prices. They also take FOREVER to deliver the furniture. We ordered a month ago and was told the 12th (today). I called today and now they are stating the 26th. UPDATE: Never heard from anyone on the 26th. Called the next day and still not all the furniture is available. They offered to waive the split delivery fee and at least deliver what they have. Getting some delivered on 7/30 but the rest MAY arrive 8/2 and be ready to be delivered. This is not worth the wait. Shop somewhere else! We have been in a new house with no furniture for over a month.
I had went to the local furniture store to purchase an overdue and much needed bed. We bought a rather expensive bed with adjustable base. I was informed after the purchase that it will be 7-10 days. That stinks. Since then I have been trying to get in touch with them to check the new delivery date. No return call from Ashleys like promised and my date has been moved back it seems. Not a happy camper right now. I want my $3000 bed. I could have went elsewhere and got it the next day. Waiting sucks....

I never leave a review, but I feel like I have to today, because I hope this can prevent someone else from being taken advantage of. From the beginning I was lied to when someone from the corporate store was visiting and told all the furniture is made in US, but when waiting for almost a month for my furniture I am told it because the chaise chair is coming from Japan. On top of that I waited 5 years for a warranty refund and after being bounced back and forth from the Warranty Company and Ashley Furniture I am told by Ashley Customer Service I had 90 days to claim the money, and was not told this information by anyone, because I had called prior before 5 years was up, and they told me I had to wait.They are a bunch of scammer so be aware!
I brought a mattress in 2017 from this store, paid a lot for it with a ten year warranty on it. Recently we noticed that the mattress was sinking in several areas so I called the store to schedule an inspection to get a replacement mattress. I was told that I have a 10 year warranty and I would need to pay $120 for the inspection of the mattress. The caller also stated if the mattress has any rips or stains the warranty is voided. My mattress has no rips but has a small juice stain on it. Caller stated that if the juice stain can’t be removed out of the mattress there would be nothing that they could do for me. This is crooked and wicked. They sale me a substandard mattress that cost a lot and I have to pay for it to be inspected and if it has a small rip or stain of any kind they can’t do anything for me. I will never as God as my witness buy another thing from this store. They sale you these extra warranties that have all these stipulation that if you don’t meet it voids it. What a waste of my hard earned money. I will not support and also will encourage my family and friends to go elsewhere to shop for furniture.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new mattress. We found a great one on their website for a even better price. I figured we could go in there, order the box spring and pick up the mattress because it was a roll up in a box. As soon as I walked in there, we were greeted and asked if we were looking for anything specific. I showed him a picture of the mattress and he immediately said, "Oh we don't carry those in store you have to have it delivered." I asked about ordering a box spring and they looked at us like we were crazy. He said that they don't sell the box springs in store. What's the point of having a store if you can't buy the same things online? Will not be going back.

I purchased a bed and dresser from this store. All I can say is RUN RUN RUN! I will start with the good, my sales rep was excellent. Also I love my bed and dresser. Now...the reasons why you should never shop at this location...I purchased my furniture in April of 2018, not too long after purchasing my first home. All went well with the transaction and I was told I&'d be called to confirm a delivery date as it was going to take 6 weeks for my items to come in. I was taken aback by the amount of time it&'d take to deliver but agreed. Six weeks came and went. At two months and after inquiring about my over $3K worth of furniture I decided to go in the store. I spoke to the &"manager&" (in quotes because he has no clue what he is doing and is extremely rude) who acted like he was doing me a favor by substituting my adjustable base for another. He couldn&'t comprehend why I&'d question why and inquire about what you are sending me in place of my purchase. I don&'t know maybe because the base was one of the most expensive pieces in my order and I want to make sure I am getting my money&'s worth... Finally the deliver guys show up 9 weeks later with my items. In the process of putting my bed together they completely shatter my ceiling fan. I now have to communicate with a delivery company to get my fan replaced (Ashley is not responsible of course because they choose to use an outside delivery company). To add insult to injury I am asked to purchase and make the repair and then they&'ll reimburse me. Needless to say that literally took another 6 weeks. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! They need to fire their manager, I am guessing he&'s the assistant store manager present on the weekends. He is in need to major service training. Also, read the other reviews, you will not receive your items for months and hope they don&'t break anything in your home in the process. I will never shop with them again!
The salesman was trying to pull a fast one on me, like he was trying to give me a good deal. I could have ordered the exact set online with delivery and tax included and It was $400.00 dollars cheaper.

The sales rep was great. Everyone and everything after was horrible. Poor customer service, the employees act unconcerned, calls are ignored. Delivery date was pushed back a dozen times and then on said date, the time is pushed back with no kind of heads up. Waited over two months for overpriced furniture. Unprofessional, waste of time and money. Go to literally any other store. The kind of business being run here is disgusting. I’m encouraging everyone to stay away from this place.

Well... I started shopping for a couch in March 2019. Spent so much time in this store, hours, found one that I loved but they couldn’t get it delivered as soon as we wanted it. My wife and I decided to wait and come back around Memorial Day/4th is July, maybe get a better deal? Went in yesterday and literally everything in the store was at least double the price with a sign that said “50% off!”. So the couch we saw in March, originally about 800, was now 2300 but 50% off (making it $1150). This was about the same for just about every piece of furniture in the store. A table set for $7000? Basic sofa for $5000? This retailer really, truly, thinks we as consumers are idiots. I’m absolutely disgusted by this tactic, and will never shop at this store/chain again.
I am a 3rd time buyer at this location. Abdul Shakoor was my Sales Associate this time. He greeted me when I walked in the door and was very friendly. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he got me a great deal and even matched the online price for me. He made the buying process easy and fast. I was in/out of the store in less than 30mins which was awesome since I had my 14 month old with me. I will definitely be back in the future to purchase other furniture.

Walked the whole store for 25 minutes and no one greeted or approached us. Furniture looks good but same anywhere else. Also, everything was overpriced. Customer service is essential for business and here was none.
Aaron was very friendly and helpful. He was knowledgeable about the product and even gave me an additional discount on top of the already great sale. The ladies at customer service, Leslie and Sekari were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning.

I called this store on a Thursday to inquire about some living room set I saw online. I spoke to the Sales manager TJ. I informed him I would come to the store to check out the items I saw online. He told me to ask for George when I come to the store. I spoke to George he kept saying I am going to give you a good deal and I said better than the one I have online. He said as long as the items are in my cart . I showed to him and he tried to charge me $200 for the delivery fee and I was told delivery fee is $99.99 for items 700-1000. The set was $719.00 after all the charges it became 1105. I told him I didnt want that set no more I wanted this other one. I haven't heard from this store yet. This is the first time I ever been in this store. I don't feel this store values my business.

Tamia greeted us immediately. Looked up my model couch I bought there, if it was still available for my sister. He was above and beyond helpful. A please to deal with. Sekari was extremely easy and fun to deal with. She helped us with our protection plan and shipping options. All around nice store and employees to work with.
I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. Sales person was great, but their 3rd party delivery company is horrible. The driver took my storm door apart and left my house with the door wide open and the storm door pieces on the foyer floor. I placed calls to the store, the warehouse, the corporate office and the delivery company. I was told they weren’t coming back to put the door back together. I would have to take pictures and get 2 estimates before I could file for reimbursement. I was then told that I told the driver to take the door apart!! WHY would I do that? He did this without any direction from me. My daughter suggested he use a planter to prop the door open, which he did, after he had taken the storm door apart and left the pieces on the foyer floor. Before I could get to the front door the drivers were gone. My front door was left wide open and the piece to my storm door left on the floor. After a total of 7 phone calls and several emails, I was told by Ashley that I would have to call the delivery company, because they couldn’t do anything! The delivery company is contracted by Ashley. My purchase was with Ashley not the delivery company. REALLY? I guess Ashley doesn’t care how they are represented. I will never buy from Ashley again!!
We had a great experience at this Ashley store. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Tamia. He was very friendly and personable. He left us to look around on our own and not feel that overwhelming feeling that sales people often give off. When we found the sectional that we were interested in, he was able to look up different prices for the different pieces we were considering. He also showed us around to other furniture we were considering. He was able to find it in the warehouse for us to pickup immediately as well. Tamia was a great gentlemen to work with! Also when filling out paperwork for the purchase, Desiree helped us and was very kind and got us out of there rather quickly. The rest of the team, including the manager, was also friendly (and had us laughing a ton) and made the whole purchase less stressful! I would definitely recommend them!

I had a great experience at Ashley’s! I have been looking for furniture and accessories for some time. I walked into the store to be greeted by Abdul who was very helpful, engaging and easy to work with from beginning to end. When we needed the assistance of a manager Johnny was understanding and very accommodating.
Nice clean store. Haven't shopped in Ashley furniture in a while. Aaron was the sales associate that helped, and Desiree cashed me out. Very friendly employees. Wish there was a little more sectionals at a more decent price but I think I got the sofa I'm going to have for a while.

Hands down best customer service I've experienced in a long time. From the moment I walked in, to the close of the sale and even the follow up. Tamia was professional throughout and wasn't that "pushy" sales associate that drives you out the door. Built great rapport in a short time which set the tone for the rest of the sales interaction. He really made the sales process smooth and easy. Once we decided on our furniture we were then taken to Desiree who rung up the order and also provided the same excellent service with a welcoming personality and demeanor. Nowadays people lack or forget to exercise simple conversation skills that can make a difference between "I'm just looking" to "I want to buy." Lastly, we were greeted and spoke with the Manager Johnny Walker who really made us feel appreciative of our business and took time to interact on a personal level outside of the sale. General convo and just being personable goes a long way and this sales team exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend buying from this location as this sales team will go above and beyond for you.
I am a second time buyer at this Ashley’s store and both times I’ve had amazing experiences. This time Sean helped me with my new table. He was super friendly & attentive but not overbearing like most furniture store workers are. I hate being hovered over and they didn’t do that here. (Which is awesome) aside from that Ashley’s always has the cutest furniture & pretty good deals.

My husband and I were looking for a sectional for our newly renovated basement and could not have been happier with Abdul at Ashley Furniture. He immediately greeted us when we walked in, but not in a overly aggressive “salesy” way that a lot of stores do. He gave us space to walk around while also keeping an eye on us if we had any questions and immediately came over to help. He provided us with additional creative options in order to meet our needs. AND he was able to give us a great deal on our furniture and protection plan. I can’t wait for our furniture to arrive! Thank you Abdul for your help. In all honesty, furniture shopping may be my least favorite type of shopping and you made it so easy.
I ordered a bedroom set. Abdul was my salesperson. The nightstand he ordered was from a different set, nowhere close to what I ordered. I sent it back with the delivery people. I've talked to Macy multiple times about making sure I get my money back for this piece and it's beginning to look like I'm just going to be out $200. Our calls get "disconnected" while I'm on hold while shes trying to get someone to see what they can do. Then she says shes going to "talk to someone" and email me about what they're going to do. Never get an email. Nothing. I've tried to call three times today and the phone just rings. Im very patient and nice so they're not ignoring me because I'm rude. The sad thing is, I really like the bed and dresser I got. I have one more bedroom that needs furniture and I need a new dining room table and a sideboard. I probably would have been back for all of this (maybe $5000-$6000 worth of stuff) but their inability to handle their $200 mistake means they've lost my business completely.

I purchased some furniture in store and was quoted a price that included a delivery charge. When I checked online while in the store, the price was a few hundred dollars cheaper. In addition, the delivery charge was advertised as being free. In store, they said that it's only free over $1700. I am very disappointed at the dishonesty of the store. The lowest price (whether online or in store) should be presented to the customer. Had I not looked online, I would have paid a few extra hundred dollars. You also received two throw pillows with the loveseat and two throw pillows with the sofa online. I was not offered the pillows to go with either in the store. We are in the process of refurnishing our entire home and I will not return to any Ashley store for future purchases.
My experience with this store was just terrible. We were obviously quite excited to get new furniture but they set a poor expectation on when we would get our purchase delivered. I called 6 times to discuss this matter with a manager, they were always unavailable and never called me back. They missed their 4 hour delivery window by 2 hours. Terrible customer service and no accountability for failures.

Marked up products so the consumer can feel special when the salesperson “hooks them up” by dropping it to only overpriced. Shop elsewhere, lots of better local options. Salespersons frequently attempt to talk the consumer into buying beyond their intended purchase.
Guy was nice. He was so patient with us! We wound up buying a new living room set and a bedroom set for my daughter. The loft bed arrived with missing parts, but the delivery guys were so nice and I realize it wasn't their fault. Ashley sent us the missing parts quickly, and we were able to assemble it ourselves.
We had bad previous experiences with the Ashley on route 40 before so my family decided to check out the Glen Bernie location. We had credit which we had to use from the previous purchase. Mr.Abdul was extremely patient and accommodating to us and went above and beyond in making sure that we were taking care of. He never made us feel like a burden even though we took our time during more than one trip. I will leave a follow up when the furniture arrives to review the full experience. Hopefully everything will be as easy and pleasant as our dealings with Mr.Abdul!
Great looking furniture. A piece was delivered, broken, in May, after my purchase in April. It is now mid-july, and the act or rectifying their mistake has been nothing short of pulling teeth. They keep insisting they can make delivery windows and then not making them, or delivering the wrong items. Update: finally got all my furniture after several months. Couch is less than a year old and completely flat cushions from less than average use. Don't waste your money here.
Store Manager Johnny is wonderful. I had some issues with Furniture taking too long and he took care of us. He gave us his personal number to keep us updated. They went above and beyond to keep us happy. My wife and I went into Ashley’s Furniture with the intent of just looking. We were greated by Andrew at the door. He immediately broke the ice with casual conversation which was great and then ask what we can in for. We mentioned we were looking for a new couch set. After looking at several options with us we then mentioned to him that we had multiple other needs as well. He took us through the whole store looking at every piece of furniture they had. After 2 hours in the store we left out of there with brand new couch and love seat, new coffee and end tables, all new bedroom furniture set, and all new dinning room set. Thank you again to Andrew who went above and beyond for us. If you need furniture I would highly recommend.
We told Abdul what we wanted and he showed us everything that matched our descriptions. He was very patient and helped us find our perfect sofa set! We were very pleased with Abdul’s and Ashley HomeStore’s service.
DO NOT BUY HERE! If I could give no starts I would. The staff is friendly when you first walk in and buy your furniture. But once they delivered and you have an issue with it, you lost them! I received a damaged piece ( an 800 dlls chair!) And called several times to fix this, and all I get is that the managers are not there and that they will call back. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't received a call, or email or even a text message. Their return policy is ridiculous! You have 72 hrs, and you have to pay restocking fee and can't just drop off, a pick up fee will be paid too. But as if it wasn't enough, you cant return a piece without a manager's approval.. so guess what! You will never get a call back. My recommendation is to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
My experience was okay. I came to the store and was assisted by Aaron who helped me select the items I needed right before the New Year.He was awesome. However, there was a few miscommunication. 1) We were told that we would get a call back on Wednesday in regards a delivery date, but we got called back on Thursday telling us they will call back the following Tuesday for an exact date. This may not sound like a big deal but we needed to make sure the furniture was delivered within a certain time frame otherwise we had to cancel the order. After 72 hours, you cannot get a full refund. This was discussed in the store! Finally, Tuesday came around and I got a call about the delivery date that was outside the dates. However, the lady was able to accommodated us. 2) The company gives a 4 hour window of delivery. Which is usually not a big deal, but we were still in the process of moving. On the day of the delivery, I believe I spoke to the manager and was told that the items will arrive at 10:30-10:40am. At 9:55am I received a called from the delivery driver stating he was there. I told him that I was enroute but it would take me 30 minutes. The driver was irritated and said that he could only give us 15 minutes grace period. I begged him to wait and he said Okay. Then, the manager calls and states that the driver cannot wait for us. I reminded him that I called that morning and was told 10:30-10:40. He recalled and said that 10am is still within the time we were originally given. I asked him to please give us time since we were on our way. The manager agreed and said he’ll ask the driver to wait. The driver than calls me back and said that the manager told him to leave. I told him that the manager did not said that to me. Again I plead with the delivery driver because we needed the bedroom set and there was a 25% ($800) restock fee. The driver had the nerve to tell me that he will wait only if we TIP. When we arrived at 10:27 am there was two Hispanic guys, a younger one and older one. I am Hispanic too so I spoke to them in Spanish. The younger guy was very pleasant. The older guy was the one that I was talking too on the phone. I thanked them both for waiting. While the guys were working the older guy vocalized his annoyance about the situation which I understood. We tipped them $120 and gave them water. We tried to be understanding that it was not their fault. The furniture was put together nicely.
