April was an excellent sales associate. She followed up with us. She was knowledgeable and not pushy. We came back because our experience with her was very sincere.

It’s been almost 2 months and I’m still beyond salty about what happened so I have decided to edit my review to forewarn others. To give you some background, I moved across the country, splitting households and looking for a new furniture for my daughter. We visited the store twice looking at options and I was between a set at Bob’s and Ashley. We found a really pretty white dresser set on the floor and asked the saleswoman if she could price it up. The total she gave me was substantially less than what was on the ticket. I said “is that right?” no less than 3 times.. not only did she double check she called her manager over to look over her shoulder as she was in training. They even commented “it must be the MLK sale. That’s a great deal.” the total price was approximately $500 for two dressers. Online these same dressers were about $1500+ delivery. Even when I was checking out, the ladies at the register were surprised it was in stock to deliver that coming Saturday. Cut to Saturday…. A truck arrives and they start bringing off two dressers that are nothing like what I ordered. One even had damage to the leg where the fake wood was peeling off. I said this is absolutely not what I ordered, and they told me I had to refuse delivery, and that I should go to the store to figure out what happened. What happened was the saleswoman put in the wrong item numbers. Or added a number that didn’t even exist. The store manager, Mindy, was in shock and told me she would have to talk to her district manager to see if they could honor the original price but doubted it. But they couldn’t do anything until they were returned to the warehouse. This took days because of a big snowstorm. However, I called multiple times and left multiple messages and did not get a return phone call. I waited 8 days, until I went back into the store. She told me that they could take $200 off. I was incomplete disbelief. She said she would call the district manager again and see if he could do more. She called me later and told me he could offer up to $300 off. At this point, I would’ve still owed over $800 to get the original set that was promised to me… the one that two different people confirmed was the correct price. I said “never mind. I just want my money back.” Not only that, I had to go back into the store to receive the refund. When I went in, I talked to the original saleswoman. She was lovely, and as I said, she was in training and I don’t believe it should be held against her, seeing as she asked a manager to double check her work. Everyone makes mistakes. In my entire life, I have never dealt with such incompetence, rudeness, and a company that absolutely just didn’t care about the situation, or that the error that was 100% on their end. They did not care to honor their word. They also didn’t care that I was eyeballing about $3000 worth of additional furniture, (a sofabed and a big dining set) and I was waiting for some move reimbursements from work to purchase. So they lost that sale in the end. They also lost future sales for the entire company because I will never step foot in an Ashley furniture again in my life, nor will my family or my friends, because trust me I have told everyone I know and even those who have years of retail experience were in disbelief. So I hope it was worth. Your closest competitor down the road got my money in the end. All $4k of it.

I would not recommend purchasing furniture from this store. We purchased a bed for my toddler here and it wasn’t even a year yet when the wood on the headboard started peeling on each side. I glued one piece back on so it didn’t look crappy but the other side I did not touch. When I put a claim through GBS protectall protection plan they denied it because I glued the one side. They told me to contact Ashley furniture as I had the one year manufacturer warranty. After speaking with them they said they would not fix it or replace it because it didn’t happen within 72hrs of delivery. I’m unsure why they give customers a ONE YEAR warranty if it only applies for the first 72hrs. They also said it was normal wear and tear. I’m sorry but a headboard should not be peeling within a year of purchase. Poor quality furniture and poor customer service.

Went into Ashley Furniture in Glen Burnie looking for bedroom furniture for my Mother. Noma was incredible. Not pushy, gave us our space to look around but there when we needed her. Honestly she was the reason we bought my Mothers whole bedroom set at that particular Ashely Furniture location. (We had other options) Noma also fought for us to receive free delivery fee, no tax including 18% off complete bedroom set. A deal we couldn’t refuse. All the women there were fantastic.

Eric was awesome! Gave us space to look around and let us come to a decision without being harassed like in most furniture store. Ms. Morgan verified our design since it was different from the display. The lovely Ms.Anita was more than happy to assist with how we go about setting up the purchase! Noma, Ananda and Nevaeh were a 3 beautiful queens who were a pleasure to work with and made the transaction go smoothly. Entire visit was less than 30 mins but the customer service was out of this world!! We will be back the next time we are in need. We have found our furniture needs team!!

Was happy about what I paid for regarding my bedroom set purchase and the sales person was extremely helpful. It would have been 5 stars if it were not for the mattress 30 day policy. I guess on the type of mattress my son would like and guessed wrong. I mentioned it to the store the day after it was delivered and they proceeded to tell me that it would cost me $400 plus a delivery fee of $90 to replace it. I was confused by that because the mattress I wanted to replace it with was cheaper than the mattress I originally bought. Somehow I feel like I got a raw deal in that the assumption was that it would be an even swap. Very disappointed.

We picked up a couch and loveseat. Because of some initial confusion from the Ashley web site, I looked online for the items and found it at a lower price. I presented this information to the store. While they didn't match the price, they include free delivery and setup that got the price close. We felt the store personnel were honest and very helpful, making it worth the few extra dollars.

I was fortunate enough to have the manger Anita help me and she was wonderful

Justin was helpful. He was patient and explained everything in detail.. Financing was an easy process.

I was quoted for a sofa by the sales lady who was very nice and that’s where normality ended. The Manager told me they would send a payment link within an hour to pay for it. Three days later I had to call the store as I still hadn’t received the link. They finally sent it the following day. I tried to make payment but my card was charged and voided immediately. I emailed the payment company but they never responded. I called the store manager again and he contacted them and told me I was putting the address in wrong. I put it in as per their instructions and it still wouldn’t accept it. Overall they hit my credit card for eight $1500 charges. They were returned but this shouldn’t be allowed to begin with. I emailed and asked for a regional manger to contact me to sort out their mess but no one contacted me. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a company try so hard not to take my money. In the end I purchased the same sofa from ABA in Annapolis for $100 cheaper.

Terry helped my husband and I find just the new sectional we were looking for to upgrade our living room. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun!

Great experience today at this store. We are always so tempted by the online prices at rando furniture stores and Amazon....but often disappointed with what appears on the doorstep. Therefore, if we can get within 5-10% of online price, we prefer to support local stores as the money goes to our community, and we get the benefit of seeing/ touching the furniture to make sure it is what we want. This isn't a huge store but they do have a reasonable selection of all furniture, and when we walked in, we were greeted by Justin who said to look around and grab him if we needed anything (very laid back - GREATLY appreciated!). Turns out, our preference was something we hadn't looked at online and really only became an option for us once we saw it and used it in the store. We then talked to him about some availability, features of different pieces, and their ability to match other stores (both in the area and online). He worked very hard to get us the best deal possible and was always very low-key and non-pushy about everything - Justin was GREAT (I should say, all the sales and checkout staff were friendly and smiling, even those dealing with customers with issues). We got a good deal and it is being delivered in a few days, so this place is a WIN in my book.

I was in the market for new bedroom furniture and my business went to Rooms to Go based on this experience. And that order was received with a week and a half. Do better Ashley’s.

Justin and Eric were so awesome! Listened to exactly what we wanted and showed us! We got a bed, couch, and table.

The sales rep who originally helped us at Ashley’s in Glen Burnie, MD was very nice to work with but waiting for our furniture that was supposed to be delivered in 3-4 weeks has been nothing but a headache. We ordered 2 sofas and one loveseat. One sofa was somehow lost in shipping so they gave us a refund for it. We were told our other sofa and loveseat would be there soon. When it came we realized after they set it up that it was not the furniture we ordered. It was supposed to come apart so we could get it down the basement. This furniture does not come apart. We called the next day to inform them and also let them know about some defects with the furniture they sent so they were aware how poorly it was put together. We sent photos and videos as well. They asked us to hold on to this furniture until they could send us the right furniture. This was back in January, it is now April and we still do not have our furniture and we are still holding that furniture for them. In the meantime, my 2 year old granddaughter cut her back on a staple that was sticking out of the foot rest while picking up her toy. She now has a scar from it. And just yesterday my youngest granddaughter who is 1 found a staple on the floor under it and put it in her mouth. Thank god she didn’t choke on it. I was on the phone for 3 hours today trying to get my refund and get this furniture out of my house because it is a hazard and I am over it. They gave me the run around and dropped calls and transferred me to six different people. I was told I need to speak to a corporate manager and given a number to call. Then when I called they said it doesn’t work like that you can’t just speak to a manager. This furniture is made so poorly that the staples come out just from sitting on it, the seems are sewn too tight and look like they are coming apart in some areas, the recliner lever doesn’t work, the foot rest does not have enough padding so your legs are on fabric covered wood, right on the edge of it. I just wasn’t my refund since I do not want to receive more defective furniture after seeing how this set is made. I should be charging them a storage fee for holding this furniture for them all of this time. I will never buy from Ashley’s furniture again. So disappointed in their customer support. It should be this difficult.

When I ordered a delivery for our new sofa I specifically asked at least 4 times for a delivery option that ensured the sofa was brought into our living room space, so I didn't need to hassle with it up the stairs myself. I was ensured that it would be brought into our living room with the option we chose. When the delivery personnel brought it, they did not bring it into our home past the garage, stating that I bought the wrong service. When I called back to have it fixed I was told I by corporate that I would be able to pay the difference to have the team come back and complete the delivery process. When I called the store to fix the issue, I was told to wait for a call back. I then got a call from the warehouse informing me of the policy I opted for (the policy that didn't include in home delivery when I specifically requested it). After not getting a call back from the store, I called again and then was told to pound sand and figure it out.

This is our family’s second purchase at this Ashley’s and will return for future purchases.

Very helpful without being pushy. No wasted time but got exactly what we want.

Purchased a couch on January 15th. The delivery people arrived February 10th with the couch, and decided they would not carry the couch into the house and down the stairs. They claimed that the couch would not fit on the stairs, citing specifically that the ceiling was too low. The ceiling had over 18 inches more clearance than required for the couch at lowest point, and in terms of width, the staircase is 6 inches wider than the couch. It was very clear to me from their demeanor that they did not want to carry the couch down the stairs, rather than it actually being the case that it doesn’t fit. I called the store, and they said they would arrange for a different delivery team, and if I did not hear back by the 12th I should call them. I call multiple times throughout the week on and after the 12th to nobody picking up the phone. I finally get a hold of someone on the 15th, who rudely tells me that what was told to me by the person I spoke with on Saturday was not true, and that the order was marked by the delivery team as “complete.” She said I would either have to pay for the delivery team to come back, or pay an order cancellation fee. I then call corporate who claims the fees are determined by the store and they can’t do anything. I go in on the 17th, and request they reschedule delivery with a different crew or issue a full refund, because frankly a delivery attempt was not fully completed. Tracey, the manager on duty, does reduce the cancellation fee to about $80 (instead of $174). Tracey was very professional, polite, and did what his higher ups allowed him to do to resolve the issue. That having been said, this issue (through no fault of Tracey’s), was not resolved adequately. I have paid Ashley $80 for two people to have shown up to my house and decide they don’t want to bring the couch in as they are paid to do, and for them to not answer the phone when I try and get in contact with them. The only way for Ashley Furniture to make this right is to return the remaining $80. Considering I received no product and no genuine delivery attempt, I do not believe that would be unreasonable. I would advise anyone looking to actually see the furniture they purchase in their home to shop elsewhere.

Ashley furniture is where we tend to shop but it makes it an easy decision when the sales people are very friendly and helpful. Tracey our salesman was amazing. And Ashley who did all the paper work was just as amazing. Thank you!

I'm a returning customer and I went into the Glen Burnie store on Black Friday Nov. 2023 and purchased a large sofa. The whole experience was bad from the Salesmen (Victor) to the signing paperwork and checking out. No one seemed to know what they were doing, everyone was all over the place and they ended up ordering my sofa in the wrong configuration. I wasn't awear of this because Victor never showed me and had me sign off on the configuration. My sofa was to take 4-6 weeks per my invoice and it took 9 weeks so they were out of contract with me and no one called to explain this. I had to call weekly for updates! Finally I get my sofa and it's completely wrong so I had to paid an additional $150 to have them come back out and pick it up on their timeframe mind you so i had to take off of work to accommodate this pick up. Then they wouldn't reorder the right sofa for me and made me come back into the store for another 1.5 hours to just get the run around about how Tracy the store manger, and Kevin the worthless store manager, and TJ the big boss and Ashley and Patience behind the counter all couldn't do anything for me! Tracy the manager walked around to interview some guy, Ashely and Patience had their hands tied, Kevin was so horrible, unprofessional, and rude. No one took an once of their time to help me get this sofa reordered from the start the right now and sent me on my way with the expectations that everything would be handled on their end. No one ever calls me with an update, I had to call daily asking for an update on my pending order and if it got approved by corporate and then they have the nerve to tell me to come back into the store and redo all of my financing paperwork for the third time! I canceled my order and will go spend my money somewhere else. By far the the absolute worst experience I have ever had and wouldn't recommend this store to save my life. I even called corporate and they said this Glen Burnie store is a franchised owned store so you aren't going to get anywhere with customer service and this location. Sometimes they just don't even answer the phone and when you leave a message they certainly don't return your call. Ashley came in behind the desk after just smoking a cig and smelled so bad, not a care in the world about professionalism. I have kept my cool this whole time and have been understanding and extremely patience but I'm so over this and can't wait to cancel my Ashley credit card so I never had to see or deal with this company again. I wish Tracy, Kevin or big boss man TJ would give me a call. I bet they wont even see this review. Shame on all of them for the the lack of service they provided and I hope no one else gets treated like I did. Two thumbs down for Glen Burnie Ashley Furniture, Never Again, Avoid With All Costs!

My bedroom set was delivered yesterday (1/23/24) and the wrong rails were sent. I sent them back and spoke to the warehouse supervisor and was told they would deliver the correct rails the next day. I have not received a delivery time so I called the warehouse. I expressed to the supervisor that I needed the rails on 1/23/24 but no later than 1/24/24 the response I received was the call being disconnected. I called back immediately and no answer. This is unacceptable, since I see other reviews with wrong parts being delivered.

I always purchase my furniture from Ashley's. I usually go to a different location- but this one was nearby at the time.. We had two salesmen arguing over our sale in the middle of the showroom and it was quite embarrassing. Manager was involved and waived our shipping fee. Would probably recommend another location.

The Funitire is cheap I bought a bedroom set and the dresser drawers keep falling a part , I keep glueing them back together what a waste of money I’m so disappointed .

Avoid their financing company. The monthly payments are cheap for a reason. After the promotional period, the interest rate is so HIGH that you will pay 3X the purchase price & you will be stuck with the furniture bill for YEARS.

Bought a mattress they delivered the wrong one first when they delivered the right one it was defective kept poking me in side and it the most uncomfortable thing ever. I went back to the store and they said that there was nothing they could do. Now I have a bill for 2 k and a defective mattress. They rip you off

Went into the Ashley Showroom in Glen Burnie to look into an outdoor patio set I saw online. They had the set we were interested in and decided to buy it. Our salesman Sean, had a great customer service attitude and was very knowledgeable on the set we were interested in. I also found a couple items to decorate the porch with. Checking out at the service area Patience was a sweetie in making my transaction easy. Kudos to both employees for their kindness today!

Went the store on Wednesday 7-23-25 looking fir a new mattress found the one I liked and Anita took care of me very well she was awesome

I had the worse experience ever with them. Ordered a table with 4 chairs, my chairs were not put together correctly and when i called customer service 7 times they told me someone will come out Jan 4 to fix them. I will never order from them again.

I was there at ashley furniture yesterday and the sales lady was very strong personality and argued with me. We had a mailer advertisement for upto50% and she said there was no such thing and the manger lied as well that it was only online. Me and my husband said call us when you get the numbers and until now they have not called. We went to Regency furniture at glenburnie md and bought a whole bedroom set at 60% off and great service from both sales person and manger. 12 Yeats of doing business with Ashley furniture has made me regret ever doing business with them . Horrible sales person and management. I strongly recommend Regency furniture at glenburnie md

Terrible Customer service and support. Purchased multiple pieces of furniture along with the 5 Year Protection Plan from GBS that Ashley promoted to me. Reclining sofa stopped working and I called to have it repaired. Technician told me the mechanics and electrical in the sofa were junk. GBS denied the warranty claim stating it was a manufacturers defect. Ashley is selling furniture with known manufacturers defects (per the technician) and selling a 3rd party warranty that won't cover the defects. We have tried multiple times to speak with customer service or a Regional/District Manager who could hear and understand my complaints. Unfortunately nobody at Ashley seems to care about the situation because I have gotten zero response or resolution. I have stopped in the store several times and I have given plenty of opportunity to rectify the situation. This has been dragging out for over two months. The store managers can't even get a response from their superiors so I can only assume they don't care. Ashley has turned a very loyal customer into an unhappy customer by just ignoring the situation and not doing what is right. I would expect the same if you decide to purchase anything from Ashley.

There's a reason why Ashley Furniture is so highly rated and considered the best large furniture company - the entire team there was amazing. Ajanni took care of my wife and I and we were able to get a sectional, reclining chair and rug for an awesome price with a great warranty with no *hidden loopholes*. They were very accommodating and open with us, super patient and was able to handle everything we wanted! No complaints, just happiness.
