We are new to the region and needed some budget-friendly furniture pieces that would also look good in our space. At this point, we had gone to various in-person furniture stores and checked out online stores as well. The Ashley showroom was expansive and had lots of options for what we were looking for. The employees constantly checked in on us to see if they can help. They also helped us find a shipping option that would be cheaper and they helped us get additional discounts on some of the items. We had liked a coffee table and end tables set that was no longer being sold, but they sold us the floor model for a discount price, which was really nice of them. I think they really worked with us to keep the costs as low as possible. They also set up delivery for us (which was an additional cost, but necessary since we didn't have a vehicle large enough to bring the items to our home by ourselves) and the delivery was on-time. We had good communication from them the entire time. The furniture pieces we got were good quality for the price and look great. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had to wait a long time because the employee helping us had to go back and forth from the manager to us to get the pricing right and she was working with another customer, even though there was another employee and barely any other customers in the store (we were there late). I think maybe they could make the pricing and paying step more efficient.

She is very personable and easy to talk to any questions or concerns I might’ve had. I’m happy she is the one to approach me when I entered the store and was able to guide me through this new process.

No one ever answers the phone when you need support. I finally got the correct furniture delivered after two months of waiting. Their third-party that was used to deliver my furniture damage my hardwood floors. I’ve been calling them every single day and leaving voicemails yet no one has the decency or respect to return my phone call to fix this matter. If I didn’t live 2 1/2 hours away, I would drive to the store to speak to someone. But their customer service is very lacking and it’s very frustrating. I’m hoping this reaches and maybe they will return my phone call I’ve only left 15 to 20 voicemails

I have worked here and personally know how terribly you will be ripped off if you buy your furniture here instead of just right next door. Every step of this process from when I bought my furniture 2 years ago has been one big hassle from a confused teenage salesperson who sold me the furniture to the team that delivered it being incompetent and completely destroying bolts that were used to put together my furniture by rounding them off all the way to the managers who charge you for 5 year insurance but won’t cover any damages that THEIR team messed up . The only good people working in this place are the people answering the phones having to deal with pissed off people like me every day because they work for a backwards shady company.
Quality + Price = Good Value. Joe DeLuccia helped us through the entire process of selecting and ordering our new furniture. He is a senior representative and his knowledge was most helpful. The check out process was friendly, easy, and quick. Delivery was timely and very efficient.
Lots of options, clean store, and knowledgeable associates. Only issue was the 2 pieces of furniture we were interested in were not in stock at the store but not the locations fault at all.
Joe was the most helpful sales person, not pushy, just concerned that we received exactly what we were looking for, the rest of the staff were very helpful as well, so far it has been a 5 star experience.

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because the sales person was great. The problem though is that they’re wonderful when you’re giving them money but when it comes time for delivery they’re not good for their word. If you need something in a certain time frame THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Nothing but excuses. I was told Saturday for delivery of my bed so I had my old one sent to the dump. Now I have to get a hotel for a place to sleep for 4 days and I have to take a day off of work for a weekday delivery. I will NEVER shop here again. Beyond disappointed. I expected more from Ashley Furniture.

It’s falling apart, not even a year old
The salesperson Ashley was wonderful and listen to the needs I wanted in purchasing a new recliner. She took the stress off of me while shopping for a new recliner and got me in the chair with the color I wanted. Ashley is very good at her job and I will definitely use her for new furniture in the future. Thank you Ashley for your patience and knowledge.
Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Eric was the associate who helped us the first time we came in the store and was the reason we returned. We just moved to West Virginia and the experience has overall been stressful....BUT NOT HERE! Our experience here was PHENOMENAL! Brandon helped us out and was extremely professional the whole time. Would love to give 0 stars to this location for its customer service and product availability. A couch cushion was ordered over four months ago with an arrival timeline of 7-10 days. After countless calls and supposedly them reaching out to their parts department the same response is giving. A manager will not return a phone call, don’t buy the warranty that “covers anything” because that’s not true either. Out of the managers mouth you can go home and slice up the whole couch and we’ll replace it. Terrible experience

I recently purchased a love seat and a recliner chair. Now although the delivery was fast and efficient. Thats not the reason I’m writing this five star review. I had went in and was very confused on who to talk to in regards of actually purchasing the furniture, when I was greeted by a person at the counter in the back, I believe her name was Michaela. She was astounding. I was able to find what I was looking for and even get really good advice on the color of what I was purchasing. She also never wiped the smile off her face while I was there. She went above and beyond in making me feel like a VIP customer! Awesome management and staff there!

Do Not purchase from Ashley’s furniture!!! I just bought two days ago on 4/10 a clearance table set and 4 chairs for about $383. I told them that day me and my partner would pick it up Friday (Today) 4/12 to go pick the whole table set up and two of the associates wanted to show us the table, that one of the table legs was broken and snapped off….. So unprofessional how no one called me, informed me this information about the table leg being broken….. then now all of sudden their telling us in the heat of the moment I have to wait 7-10 business days for the new table leg….. close to two weeks is just plain wrong! I called customer service it was a nightmare trying to get the customer service number for my area to get any help. I was trying to get store credit or something! Luis the customer representative was trying to help me out called this location for the manager to call me. This manager was So unhelpful and couldn’t care less that one of her associates broke my table leg and the store manager SHOULD’VE gave me store credit for THEIR inconvenience. That was the whole reason I called, but she used me signing the contract as leverage! I told her I wanted it that’s why i signed it but it’s silly we have an upside table just lying in our house when we wanted to use it in our kitchen lol….. Bottom line, don’t go and buy furniture here. They’re ALL scam artists!
Would rather give no starts!! Was promised a 2 week delivery, 3 weeks go by and still no contact about delivery. Called and was told it was on backorder, called back to see if they could swap the backorder piece for another sofa instead. Was then told it actually came in but it was damaged so they had to reorder all together. Went in and canceled the original set and ordered something else, again promised it would be in no later than April 3. Received a call on April 1 everything was good to go for Saturday delivery. Friday no info on delivery time etc so I again called them and this time was told it was at the warehouse since Wednesday but it was not checked into their system yet and they would figure out what was going on. Called corporate and was told that my furniture is in fact not at the warehouse and it could potentially be delivered today but would need to be checked in and so it would possibly be next week sometime… So needless to say after no communication unless we contacted them, different stories, and no resolution we canceled the order! Do not buy from them as they lie, lack communication, and any resolution to issues!
We were greeted by Greg once we entered the store. Ask for a referred associate, but she was not in that day. Explained to him what we were looking for and told us to look around and try out the sofas. Let me browse without hovering.How refreshing !Candice came up and introduced herself. She was helpful and so nice. She also offered suggestions.We ended up with a beautiful sofa, chair, ottoman, rug and a bedroom chair. Candice was extremely easy to work with very helpful and gave me a great price! I highly recommend the store and Candice!!✨✨
My experience in this place has been nothing but stressful and unnecessary. An order was placed in November, it was determined that item ordered was discontinued during the 8-12 week wait for delivery. A customer would think that a place of business would call to notify the customer and arrangements would be made to rectify the mishap but that wasn’t the case. Order comes in at the 12 week wait and it was wrong because it was input incorrectly into the system at initial transaction. Long story short this place didn’t go the extra mile to make things right although I did get a call from the GM after making a call about the situation to come in and look for another piece. Selection was slim to none essentially. In addition when my wife and I started from scratch, we walked into Regency in Hagerstown in search for another piece and selection was not to our liking and because ASHLEY doesn’t update their site with discontinued merchandise and REGENCY works with them, my wife asked about the initial piece from a helper, the individual was quick to brush her off and indicate that it is discontinued. Moral of the story, ASHLEY and REGENCY will NEVER get our business again. They need to work on customer satisfaction and attentiveness. We had such a great experience at another place (not mentioning the name) cause it’s an insult to ASHLEY and REGENCY but order was placed on a Saturday and delivered next Saturday with no issues. Don’t bother responding to this message cause it won’t help anything. Beware future customers about these places

I’m never one to give reviews but this is the exception. Went to Ashley on Super Bowl Sunday to see what I could find and walked out with a new couch to be delivered and a smile. Austin was amazing, greeted me at the door, gave me space when I let him know I was just looking, but also was there within seconds if I had any questions. Him and the manager worked with me on getting me a great deal and crunched numbers with me. Dominique also was great! She was charming, efficient, and attentive to details. Between setting up the shipping and going over everything with me her and her team were able to make me feel comfortable, not get bored to the point I would look at my phone, and had me laughing along with their conversation like they knew me personally. Will recommend anyone I know to check out Ashley of Hagerstown if needing furniture.

I would give 0 stars if I could but I will give two stars for the positive experience we had when purchasing our furniture. When purchasing all staff were phenomenal, very helpful, and got exactly what we wanted. However, everything since delivery has been a complete dumpster fire. We are currently going into week 12 of this. When our sectional was delivered, the individuals delivering the furniture were very reckless with the handling (hitting the furniture on walls). Additionally, there were three damages that included ripped fabric and damaged wood under the upholstery. One damage is understandable maybe but three is a question about the quality. One of the damaged pieces was removed from our house and was re-ordered on 12/2 which is greatly appreciated but is just scheduled for delivery on Saturday, taking us to the 12 week mark. The half of a damaged sectional we currently have has made 0 progress since 12/2. Ashley’s solution was sending a repairman out (still waiting for that).Wouldn’t you think replacing it would the solution? Let’s just put a bandaid on the current issue. I called last week about getting our current damaged piece replaced, instead of continuing to waste time and wait for a repairman to come out and need to re-order it, and wait for a delivery 4-6 weeks again but we still haven’t heard anything. By the time we get our whole sectional it’s likely going to be 16+ weeks. The customer service that has been displayed in the last few weeks has been very disappointing to say the least. When customers are spending a good chunk of money on your products and you mess up, do better and fix the issues in a timely manner and be transparent about what is going on when a timeline is given and is not upheld to.

Worst company!!!!! Poorest quality!!!!!! You will never receive another penny from me! Purchased sectional $2500.00, in less than a year, with minimal use, 2 adults in our home, fabric was pulled, torn and pilled! Ashley wouldn’t help in anyway, we purchased extended warranty and warranty company denied our claim! In addition the frame appears to be damaged under the upholstery, that claim denied as well!! BUYER beware, I would steer clear of this place. Even the warranty representative that came to my home had terrible things to say about Ashley as a company. So disgusted, in less than 2 years I have to purchase new furniture.

When I went furniture shopping the staff were the most friendly and helpful people. Delivery went smoothly but I expected a battery pack for the recliner to be included as that is what I was told when I purchased my recliner. I called Ashley Furniture in Hagerstown and they had a battery pack waiting for me to pick up at the store right away. Thanks again to Miranda for getting this taken care of so quickly. I purchased an L-Shaped Sofa in April 2023 with a full warranty, totally paid. Just 4 months later, the sofa is deteriorating. I have reached out to the Hagerstown location and they are giving me the run-around. I have sent pictures and all the information requested. I have received a poor product and poor customer service. Hoping corporate is competent enough to assist; stay away from this location!

I purchased a sofa and love seat in November. Told I wound get it before Christmas. Didn't receive until the end of January. Broke the next week. I have called several times and no one will return my call. Absolutely do not buy from them unless you want to feel robbed. Worst furniture company ever. Buy elsewhere and save yourself the stress.

Don't do it! They are nice and helpful when taking your money for the sale. Beyond the sale, they forget they ever knew you. They sold several pieces of furniture. The sales lady was lovely and helpful, but when one of our furniture items had a defect they did nothing. We were directed to our warranty that we purchased. That too is useless! The warranty company came out and said it wasn't covered under warranty. However; the nice representative that came out to our home to look at the furniture said it was a manufacturer defect and the workers who assembled the furniture may have caused more damage. Long story short, the Hagerstown store gave us the run around. They received numerous calls from us. They said they would get back never did. The sales people are not receptive at all. Not that I wanted a tour, but it would have been nice to get a little attention, maybe I would have found something I liked. I think they thought I looked like I couldn't afford to buy anything, because I know I looked lost and no one asked if I needed help. Big mistake.

I purchased furniture on 12/31/22, I received a call stating that I have to come in and reapply for furniture. At first I was upset and said cancel, then my husband point our that they charge the card already. So today 2/18/23 I have called numerous times, the young lady working is Brittney who says she is the only one working and cannot find the paperwork that Dominque Nelson processed and that I have to redo my paperwork. What a mess, I have been call all day and half the time no one is answering the phone. I can't get my furniture delivered because they can't find the paperwork. Right now I am so pissed, this is so unprofessional. I am so disappointed I have always loved shopping at Ashley's but this has really given be a bad business perspective of Ashley Furniture.Do better.....Barbara Invoice 162205428

I visited the store because I'm looking to buy a new sofa. I was thinking maybe a leather one like I previously had. I was greeted at the door and told the salesperson I just wanted to look around. She was great she told me to find her if I had questions. I don't like to be pressured into a sale. Unfortunately there weren't many sofas to my liking but the prices were reasonable. I will check back.

Will never shop there again got a kitchen table set with six chairs. Two of the chairs were broke so I took them back to get them fixed or replaced refuse to do either because since I picked the furniture up there not responsible for anything that was wrong with the furniture so now I’m stuck with two broken chairs. The customer service sucked and they do not care about the customer. I’m letting you know it’s better to shop somewhere else.

My fiancé and I went to Ashley Furniture in Hagerstown, Maryland, looking for a couch for our new home. When we walked in, we immediately found the one we wanted, so I went to grab someone to help us with the process. Tyler Trainum was the employee who helped us with our purchase, and to say he went above and beyond for us would be an understatement. He thoroughly explained the process, he was transparent, and he answered all of our questions. Tyler made this experience enjoyable and stress-free, and even answered questions about different ways we could personally set up our living room. He helped us determine whether we should finance the couch, or buy it in full up front, and he was completely transparent and helpful when helping us determine what would work best for us personally. Tyler was extremely helpful and friendly and we appreciated his help so much. When we went to the counter to process the payment(s), Kiah Jassani helped us and walked us through every step of the process. She showed us examples of organized and color coordinated lists of the clients she has helped and updated about their purchase with shipping details, estimated time of arrivals, and any other details regarding their purchased furniture and/or shipment to ensure us that we would be taken care of and followed up with. After Kiah gave us all of our paperwork, she thoroughly described what was entailed in all of the papers she gave us, she explained to us what next steps to take, and she told us what to expect regarding shipment and installment. Both Kiah and Tyler gave my fiancé and I very helpful tips and information, and we walked out completely satisfied and excited to get our new couch. Both of these employees deserve a raise as they did an exceptional job helping us throughout this whole process.

We are very disappointed with Ashley furniture store in Hagerstown. My husband purchased two living room sets in 2020. One of which was leather or pleather. It's not even a year and my leather couch is peeling and ripping. I was told by a sales representative that it would be covered under store warranty since it was within a year. A gentleman from the store came to my house and took pictures and said Ashley would replace the cushions and they would be mailed to me. I waited about three weeks and then when I called. I was told by Tiffany that my case was closed. I was shocked to hear this. I was told the reason being was a mistake was made and that it was customer's fault. I will never make any purchases from Ashley. The furniture is cheap and the customer service is very poor.
Everyone was very helpful, including Valeria, Brittany, Rodney's and especially Vanessa. We had to return a table and chairs due to our inaccurate measurements. They really helped make the switch smooth. We love our new furniture.

Will never shop Ashley again. Bedroom furniture had 3 drawers that had bottom coming off so they wouldn't open or close and 1 stuck. Service tech (very unprofessional guy) came out and basically said he recommends only 2 or 3 items of clothing in the drawers to prevent that from happening. Received new drawers with no hardware and new drawers didn't fit so well either. Had to take hardware off old drawers and discovered screws were stripped by guys that assembled it. Furniture is cheaply made. So disappointing....spent thousands on furniture that doesn't work the way it was intended.
My husband and I recently closed on a new home and was in need of some new bedroom furniture. Due to spine disorder, we were considering a king size mattress with an adjustable base. We wasn't sure if we could afford it or not, but after working with Maranda, and Tiffany - we were able to purchase our bedroom furniture, art work, and the adjustable base to help protect my spine. Maranda greeted us at the door and stuck with us until we made up our mind. She was knowable and check on what was available and gave us the earliest delivery date. My first visit to the Ashley Homestore was just to look and the salesperson , named Ashley, greeted me and left me look. Two weeks later I went back and Ashley was there to help me narrow down my choices. She was very helpful. She was able to quickly find out which item were in stock and didn’t need to be ordered. Then at checkout the office manager was very friendly and helpful. Vanessa took care of delivery information and finalizing my purchase. I purchased a couch, loveseat, table and 6 chairs. All were delivered 3 days later. The delivery men were very nice. They set everything up where I wanted it. It was a great Labor Sale and I am happy with my furniture.
They have a good selection and great staff. Miranda was so helpful on the sales floor and answered all our questions (plus some we hadn't even thought of). Then Rodneya walked us through the financing and delivery details. They were both so friendly and made this a much smoother experience then we expected!

Horrible place they lie and take your money I've contacted the store multiple times and did everything asked of me even to the point of giving them more money to pick up the defective furniture they delivered to my home. I've tried to get help from the corporate office with no help and the manager Veronica is horrible and lies , I've escalated my problems with Ashley Furniture to the BBB now with hopes Ashley Furniture will do the rite thing and refund my money before this matter is handled in the court system , BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE STORES

I walked into the store today because I had to wash my cushions after something spilled on them. They were hard to fit back on so I went into the store and was greeted right away. Excellent service, which you dont find too often these days. Tamara was very helpful in helping us find a bed for my son. I was showing my husband the bed online and noticed it was cheaper online. I contacted the store and spoke with Brittani. She was very helpful and was able to price match the bed. I will definitely buy from them again.
DO NOT GO HERE. I bought a living room set here back in November. My furniture and apartment were damaged during delivery. When attempting to get the couch through the door, it wasn’t fitting. The guy came up to me and said “sign this”. I was in a meeting on my computer and figured that the furniture was already good to go and that’s what the signature was for since I had bought a bedroom set before and know that they ask you to sign before they leave. I go out a couple minutes later to them shoving and jamming the couch through the door. Once they finally got the couch in, they asked me to sign again and I told them no, that I’m not signing anything because they damaged not only the couch, but also my home. They literally just said “okay, we don’t need your signature” and left. I immediately call to make a report about it. After this, MONTHS go by and I hear nothing from them. I call again and another girl says that the girl I talked to isn’t there anymore so she will have to send a new email to corporate. Couple more months go by and nothing. I called again and was AGAIN asked to send the photos in so they could send it again. 8 months go by and I call AGAIN and the girl said that the 3 people I had spoke with no longer work there and I would have to resend everything again to be submitted yet again to corporate. I hear nothing back, until today wheee I am told that I am denied because of the apparent waiver that I signed, saying that it’s basically okay for them to damage my home to get the furniture in when I was not explained to what I was signing by the delivery guys. I will NEVER shop here again and I will NEVER recommend anyone here ever again

He explained the different sales they had for Memorial Day and all prices and options for the different items were clearly displayed. He ended up helping me pick out a new sectional! Signs showed a sale. No price tags on furniture. Depending on how you purchased, cash or finance, is how they offered you a deal. Was not a good experience. Felt like I wasn't getting a deal or sale at all. Will not go back.
I would rather pay thousands of dollars to go to carpentry school, spend years of my life building a piece of furniture, and have both my legs amputated, than buy anything from this store again.
Genesis and Rain were absolutely PHENOMENAL! They took the best care of us as we searched for some new furniture for our home! So sweet and the best customer service! 10/10 recommend!
I ordered 2 Tempur-pedic king size pillows and a mattress protector, still waiting 4 weeks for my order and was advised I might get it at the end of May. I was told that if I cancel the order I would be charged 10% It sounds more like extortion or a threat to me. So they will charge $80 dollars for merchandise that didn't receive. I'm very unhappy with these delays. Something really wrong with this. I feel that Ashley's needs to make this right. No tracking information and lack of motivation to make this right. It looks like I will wait 7 or 8 weeks which is totally ridiculous. I requested the manager give me a call and the lady attitude was like you have to call him after 12. She didn't want to even take a message for the manager to call me. Now they telling some nonsense that I was advised it could take up 8 to 12 weeks to receive my items. Nobody ever said that to me. If I had ordered it from Tempur-pedic then I would have gotten the items within 4 four days. But unfortunately I didn't qualify for Tempur Pedic financing. So I had to go threw the Ashley snap financing route. It's obvious that Ashleys store has some major shipping problems and if your financing the items using Snap that you will be charged 10% penalty fees for their delayed incompetence from the store or manufacturer. They should not sell things that they can't deliver in a decent timely manner. Ashley's store has some very beautiful things on the floor and unless they immediately have the items in stock which are very unlikely you're gonna wait a lot longer than the normal two weeks. I ordered very high end expensive pillows and a mattress protector. There was a time when you can order stuff from Ashley's and get your items within a week or two but it seems like that is not the case anymore. Buyer beware if you are going to buy from Ashley's you are going to face huge delays in getting your items in a timely manner. Be prepared for a empty house or apartment while your waiting for your furniture or items to arrive. So 8 to 12 weeks wait, interesting. What do you sleep on in the meantime. I was told 2 weeks, but that was a total lie.
Great experience with our purchase. Joe Deluccia helped us find exactly what we wanted with no hassle. He was quick to provide payment options, service contract information. Once he handed us off to the customer service department Rodneya Nash took over. She made the final process even easier. We made a purchase on July 31, 2021 for our entire house. With Covid being the cause of many hold ups throughout the year, I can say Ashley Furniture has been great experience. Between the time we spent having our house built, Ashley's were very understanding having to hold our furniture in their warehouse. We received several phone calls a month to update us on the status of our merchandise that was coming in. Our sales representative, Eric Reyes was great!! Very kind and patient with me when I was trying to decide for each room of our house. Thanks Eric!! The store honored the discounts online and I received even better customer service then what I would have got ordering online. Thankfully our house will be finished this week and I had the pleasure of speaking with Rodneya about scheduling our delivery. She is a very kind and respectful person when I call. She understands what has to be done and when I say she is on top of things I mean it. There was a form I had to fill out and she got everything I needed to do emailed to me in the same day. Thanks Rodneya!! I looked forward to dealing with people like Rodneya and Eric! I'll definitely be back to purchase more furniture in the future and have family members and friends know about the service.

Buyer Beware!... my advice is to check the online price from the corporate Ashley before you buy in store because they are all franchised ownership. My experience was that I saved 25% more online than the store could offer plus 18mo financing unlike the instore 12mo. I requested a refund via phone approximately 5 hrs after I was in store due to online being considerably less. The sales manager Brandon told me on the phone to come back to the store for the refund which is 45 minutes away. I did this the next day. The 3 ladies at the back of the store were the most unpleasant team of associates I have ever met in a customer service environment. They "office manager " refused to refund my sales tax to my card said it was not policy .... long story short a gentleman that assisted the grumpy ladies in the beginning of this was at the front of the store as I was leaving so I asked him why I didn't get my sales tax returned.... he said I should have because it was canceled within 72hrs. He went back and instructed the office manager to do it and she says I'm not doing it cause it's not our policy and if you want him to get it back YOU DO IT and handed him the credit card machine. I got 100% refund now... which is why the 2 star review and not 1. Again just be aware of how much you are paying cause you may find a better deal online and not deal with the office staff unprofessional demeanor.
Miranda was our saleswoman, and she was perfect for us. She was helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy. She has a great personality and is friendly and fun! We stopped in on Saturday evening of President's Day weekend and came back to purchase on Sunday after going to another place where I couldn't stand the saleswoman, and they didn't have enough help in checking customers out. Miranda was honest and upfront with us, which we appreciate. Taylor checked us out, and she was also very sweet! She explained things to us, and we ended up having an excellent experience in purchasing two new sofas. We feel really happy to have found what we needed with the service plan, which is a smart purchase. When I need furniture in the future, I won't even go anywhere else. There's no need.
My husband and I purchased living room furniture and a mattress last Thursday, and we are looking forward to our delivery this week.. We had a great sales experience with Raven and Taylor.. They worked with us and we made a great deal ... Thank you all for the great shopping experience!!

The sale went smoothly. However, look out if your furniture has any defects. Ashley does not stand by the warranty. I have been trying to get an answer since November and no one, including the store manager will help me. If I wanted junk, I would have went to Big Lots! Go elsewhere to purchase your new furniture!
Horrible experience. Kept getting calls from this store and when I let them know they were calling the wrong number the woman Vanessa was very rude and even said my husband was insecure. At that point my husband told her again this was the wrong number and she laughed and said ok I will call you to set up the delivery!! This was outrageous. Vanessa would not give us the manager so we called the Frederick store who was not a bit surprised by Vanessa's attitude. Customer service in Brandywine is closed today but they will be notified. A simple sorry we will remove your number would have sufficed. By the way we live an hour away from this store.
We truly enjoyed the awesome and friendly service. Our sales man was very helpful and gave us all the information needed to make an excellent decision. The best part of our experience was meeting the amazing qualified customer service representatives Ms. Christianna and Ms. Rain!!!! They gave us added information and a great service! Met at the door by Genesis. She was very helpful, gave us space to see what we liked, helped us understand different options, and was friendly and knowledgeable throughout our visit. We purchased a recliner and sectional with e 3-4 month delivery date. I see a number of reviews that indicate significant problems with delivery. I'll update as we move through this process, but the sales team and experience in the store was great.
Great service, explained to Joe I needed a sofa sturdy enough for 4 large dogs and easy to clean, he took the time to explain the pros and cons on the sofa I was interested in, he was extremely patient and helpful. Christiana was wonderful with checkout. All together a very positive experience. Will definitely shop there again.
Miranda was so busy bragging about how she reached her goal before the end of the month SHE typed in my order wrong and because of HER INCOMPETENCE and a wrong delivery they are demanding that I pay for her incompetence!!! They delivered the wrong items and expect me to pay for them to pick them back up. SHE should be held responsible!!!! I would give them less than a 1 if I could. Went into the store in Hagerstown and was immediately greeted by a friendly sales rep, Mike, that took me directly to the bedroom furniture that I was interested in. He gave us the bottom line deal and answered all of our questions. Was then taken to speak with Maria whom was friendly and helpful regarding all questions and completion of paperwork! They were truly wonderful and I would definitely go back for any future furniture needs!
Purched over $7000. Worth of furniture in March of 2021. I was told it would be approximately 3 months for delivery. Based in this information I went ahead and purched the furniture. It is now November 2021 and I have only received half of my furniture. They ignored my phone calls and when I do talk to them they just tell one lie after another. PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF THE GREIF AND SUFFERING GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Horrible customer service

I just purchased a sofa recliner at the Hagerstown Ashley Homestore. My salesperson Rodney was fantastic in helping me with my selection and applying discounts to the listed price. I recommend him for great, friendly and rewarding service. Taylor then assisted me with the purchase, scheduling delivery and explaining my warranties with me. I ordered a bedroom set on Sept 5th. I was told 12 weeks for delivery, worst case scenario 16 weeks. Mid October I decided to call the store to see if there were any updates on delivery times. Taylor advised me they had my mirror, headboard and rails but the rest of my items would be delivered on November 4th. I was ecstatic since that was way earlier than I was quoted. I made arrangements to have my current furniture removed for the delivery. I called the store on November 3rd and spoke to another representative that told me I was lied to, she had no idea where Taylor got that information and my items wouldn’t be delivered until January at the earliest. I called the store today and spoke to Vanessa, I told her that I am upset about the misinformation and delays, I want to cancel. She told me to come to the store and I could cancel while paying a 10% fee. She was rude and unapologetic. I called the corporate line to find out that the Hagerstown location is privately owned and they make their own rules for cancellations. Corporate advised they do not charge cancellations for online orders or any of their enterprise locations. Jasmine, who was very empathetic and helpful, got the general manager of Hagerstown on the line for a three-way call. Tyler showed zero remorse or accountability for his employees and simply stated “you signed a contract” and “we’re still within the 12-16 week timeframe”Now I have to pay $180 to cancel an order that would have been delivered beyond the expect timeframe (January is longer than 16 weeks) and well past the November 4th date I was told on the phone. Moral of the story- do not purchase anything from this location. Order online only if you need anything from an Ashley’s Homestore, the customer service is horrendous at Hagerstown.

I'm never shopping at Ashley Furniture ever again. I believe they lie about their delivery times to get the sale while other furniture stores are honest about their timeline. So please don't believe the 8-12 week delivery window that they try to sell you because it is not true in my experience and the experience of many others who left BBB reviews. In fact, this store has an F rating at BBB. Too bad I didn't check the BBB reviews before making my purchase. It's already been 19 weeks and no one can give me an ETA when I call the store. They are nice to you when they want the sale and take your money upfront, but you're chopped liver after that. I might just call them to get a refund on principle.Edit: I am aware of the issues with the supply chain. However, the problem is that Ashley Furniture needs to be honest about it before the sale because it was already an issue before the sale. Other companies actually say that it may take up to 6 months to receive the product due to the supply chain issues. Instead, Ashley furniture says 8-12 weeks and then apologizes when they can't obviously meet expectations. This is poor business practice. It may get you a sale in the short term, but it will cause you to lose sales in the long run due to poor reputation. For example, I will not be doing business with this company in the future. I also have already tried contacting the customer service but always get the "Sorry, but you will just have to wait" answers. In short, oh well.NEW UPDATECalled several times and each time the store asked for 2 more weeks. Long story short, we asked for a full refund and got an attitude from both the representative and manager for doing that. I will never do business with Ashley again. Not worth the trouble.
We have always loved Ashley furniture but due to COVID-19 many items are out of stock. This didn’t stop their newest team member Miranda! She searched for a bed that was in stock and then got it to a price we could both agree on. I really appreciated how she was so personable and asked the manager for help when she needed it instead of feeding us a lot of fluff. We live in Frederick and drove up to Hagerstown when our local store was out of everything and couldn’t seem to find us a bed we liked. The staff at Ashley Hagerstown is amazing. Our sales associate Eric was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and gave us a memorable customer experience. The ladies in Customer Service, Marie and Taylor, did the best job ever. There were several issues with the finance company, but they persevered and stayed on the phone with them until the issues were resolved and we could get our furniture. My only regret is that this only allows 5 stars… they should all receive 10++
Ashley was my customer service rep. She greeted me at the door and I never felt like she wasn't just pushing for a sale. She took the time to find out little things about me and what I had in mind when I was looking for my furniture. we walked and talked and sat on a lot of furniture. She was very knowledgeable about the styles and their functionality. I would defiantly buy furniture from her again. Christianna was also just as amazing. She took the time to make sure I understood every aspect of my purchase and the protection plan. She also took the time to talk with me and made me feel like I was more than just a customer. I will recommend this store and these two individual to my family and friends.
I had a great experience, my sales person was Eric who was wonderful, was able to pick out a sectional that I really liked. Helped me out greatly when my order came but sectional was too big to fit. Called to let them know and Taylor and Christianna were able to help and let me know what I should do due to the fact that the movers were trying to give me a hard time about having them take the sectional back as it was to big (also movers created a hole in my roof taking back down the only piece that they struggle to bring in). went back in to pick something else out and Eric once again was such a big help with it I also let him know about the damage that the movers created (hoping to get reimbursed for the damage but haven't heard anything yet) but over all the employees at Ashely's were so helpful and great.

Walked in was greeted but also stared at by a white woman with big eyes but anyway ERIC was assisting me and he's really awesome, has patience. He walked with me showed me different stuff answered questions and got me what I wanted. The store has a great selection, great quality. If it wasn't for ERIC I probably would have turned around he was super friendly. I had a great experience here and do recommend.

My Family likes a lot the quality of the furniture at Ashley. We bought the entire bedroom sets for our children when they married. Also my daughter bought her first living room furniture years ago when she was single. My son bought his dining furniture not long time ago, and also my son just bought the living furniture for his parents house (I’m his mother). The only thing that we dislike a lot in our last experience was the customer service at Ashley, they were extremely rude and disrespectful when we were for more than 3 times asking the delivery date for the furniture. We think that everybody that works with customers needs to have the ability to handle any type of question related with the furniture, and also to keep the good mood all the time with the customers instead of having a nasty attitude.
If I could give them less than 1 star I would. We purchased a fully motorized sectional and an additional recliner at the end of March. We were told that delivery was mid June with it most likely arriving by mid May, as everything was coming in early. It is now September 1st and the new estimated arrival is mid September. I have been promised many returned phone calls and never receiving any. At this point I think they are just blowing smoke. I have never dealt with such lackadaisical business practices in my life. Somehow every time you call a manager is never onsite. Who does this? When I asked for the managers name all I was given was a first name. How can you do business like this. I have requested that my furniture be delivered to my house within the next week or I am requested a full refund.
I came in needing furniture for my whole house. The entire team at this location was wonderful. Rodney worked with me for quite a while to make sure everything was just the way I wanted it. I'm thankful for their help and I will be returning to them for all of my furniture needs!

2nd best experience with the Ashley Furniture store in Hagerstown, MD. My husband and I had a very good experience the first time as well when we bought our couch. Rodney was very helpful and knowledgeable about what we were interested in buying that day. He got us a good deal on a dinner table, and we love it. It is going to work perfect in our new home. Also had a great experience at the desk for check-out with Taylor. She took the time to answer our questions. Everyone was very nice, helpful, and non-judgemental. We plan to come back in the next month for more furniture to add to our new home.

I wish I had read others comments prior to spending money with Ashley Homestore. It has been a very frustrating experience especially for my wife who has been trying to remain patient. 16 weeks since we ordered furniture and only part of our order showed up. She has been promised several times that someone would call her back or that an email would be sent but then we hear nothing. We keep getting told that they will pass on the message and then someone will call us back. The "call back" never happens. When we do actually get a hold of someone it is the same line "I am emailing corperate" well I guess corporate does not care because they are not responding either
We came in February and purchased close to 10,000 in furniture to furnish our new home. Eric was a great salesman but I can’t say much about management. We were told it would be delivered in May, May came then told June, in June we were told definitely end of June so we returned the furniture we were renting and at the end of June we were told July then in July August now that it’s August we are told October. They recommended us change our set so we decided to comply and they want an extra 2,000. I’m so disappointed and upset with the lack of professionalism. I have called the past two weeks asking for the general manager and I was promised he would call. Never called, every day I was told he was given the message so I called today two weeks later only to sit on hold for 22 minutes then I came in. There was a response to my post and I emailed just like it asked and no one responded. Also to add to my post - had a table delivered and it wasn’t finished and scratched my brand new floor up - sent pictures etc. they took the table made a claim and charged me 300.00 to pick up the table that ASHLEY didn’t finish correctly.

We stopped in on Friday July 23rd to just look around at some sectionals. We were immediately greeted by Auerlia Burlson. She was super friendly and helped point us in the direction we needed to go. We found a sectional that we really liked but wanted to go look at Value City Furniture as well. She have us her card and we told her we would be in touch. Needless to say we came back because VCF quality is not there. She made the process so easy and we ended up purchasing the sectional. Not only did she provide excellent customer service but she went above and beyond. The manager at this store was also super nice and very knowledgeable. The CSR Taylor was amazing as well. We would highly recommend!!

As I write this review I have been waiting 17 weeks now for an ottoman for my living room and in the delivery of some other furniture, there was a splice in the arm of the love seat. All this goes into this review. Before I share this I do have one positive. That positive being Ashley, who helped us purchase the furniture. She was very friendly and helped us with the needs we had. We purchased a new dining set as well as a complete living room set. Kudos to Ashley. I have attempted to call Ashley furniture in several occasions and I am surprised how a store of its capacity can repeatedly not have someone pick up the phone during store hours. We have even stopped into the store to inquire and several times have been told that the ottoman should be in at the end of the week. When we have stopped in one occasion we shared about the splice and the manager was very pompous, almost making it seem that I would have to take the furniture as is bc I should have inspected all of the furniture before I signed. Really? That to me is very poor customer service. Am I the only one who doesn’t fully inspect furniture when it’s delivered? And how many ends of the week week after week can you be told until that becomes totally unbelievable? So the splice is on the arm of the love seat…..here’s how it works to attempt to get a repair…. You have to have your local store get the information to the corporate headquarters and as the consumer you wait until they decide to call you. That may happen in 4-5 days or even more than a week. In our case we were told the material would be sent to us and once it arrived we were to call and an appointment would be scheduled for someone to come and install the fabric to repair this splice. Well the wrong side was sent so being that it wouldn’t fit we called to say this. And that’s when a situation became totally irritating. We now have no one that will call us back when we call corporate and the times we were called we seem to be running around the merry go round with what needs to be done. Or we are made false promises that are not acted upon. I need more furniture as we are slowly renovating our home and I will never buy another piece of furniture from this store. If all of this is fine with you then by all means this is your place to shop.

Originally had 4 stars. Changing to 2 stars. You can see my original review below. The couch I got was given an 8-12 week lead time. Since I bought it in late May, it has now been 20 weeks since I bought the couch, and I still don’t have it and the store has been pushing out the estimated date every time I call. I paid for this couch almost 5 months ago and still don’t have it!! The store also hasn’t called me at all or sent anything to provide updates recognizing that it’s late. Every communication has been from me having to call them to try and get an update, and even then it hasn’t been helpful. They also haven’t offered anything for my lost time, which would be fair considering I am pretty much giving a loan to the store without interest… I payed 2,000 to them in May, and I still don’t have what I paid for. So that’s money out of my pocket for that long without anything in return so far. Original: Rain and Jeremy were super helpful today in helping me buy a new couch! Only wish the couch I loved was in stock as now I am waiting 2-3 months to get it.
Ordered an ottoman on 12/27/20 and it’s still not in. I just keep getting a run around. They say they will call me back and never do. Poor customer service. I have bought other furniture there, but this is my last time dealing with them. They won’t even let me cancel the order over the phone, you have to go into the store. Terrible

great place if waiting over 6 months for furniture and 0 customer service, 0 followup and 0 problem solving skills is your thing. Purchased a complete living room set in Nov 2020, was understood that delivery would be delayed because of Covid 8 -12 weeks. I call on wk 12 was told all but the tables are in and they were going to call me when it all arrived in a couple weeks. we agreed to have what was in delivered and take care of the rest two weeks later. 2 wks come and go and i have to reach out again, im told at that time its going to be another month or so before they are in. they never once call and give updates, i was actually told on the phone by the GM that it was ok for me to call as much as i want SMH. kind of missing the point on the whole customer service thing. BTW, if you call enough they will eventually not answer the phone, be prepared to hide your number to have someone pick up. But dont settle for leaving a message, they will not return your call . In the beginning of this month i was told that the furniture will be delivered on 5/13. I then get a call saying my furniture is in the store and i can come pick it up (that was not the arraignment, they lied and said they did not have it noted that it was to be delivered to my home even though we spoke just 2 weeks earlier that it will be delivered , corporate did state that it did state that the furniture was to be delivered to my home) SO, it was suppose to be taken back to the warehouse last week and be delivered this week, I CALL (again) to make sure it was all taken care of and was informed that it was not picked up and it would be picked up this week to go through that whole warehouse,checkin, set up delivery process. after calls to the esculation department latest is it is suppose to be here this saturday. Even if it does show up that day, it is still a 6 month process to get a product that was paid in full in November. This store is a nightmare!! wonder if i qualify for the memorial day savings on the furniture i purchased during thanksgiving SMH
Do not recommend we purchased a couch set and waited over 7 months and still got the same answer that we got 4 months in so we just decided to just cancel and get a refund if you want to wait over a year for ur stuff this is your place. some one should have at least pushed to get our stuff in sooner since it’s been so long but no one seemed to care they could have at least offered some kind of discount off our order or something they didn’t try to make anything right won’t be giving our business to them

Rodney met me at the door with a warm greeting and very pleasant attitude. I told him what I was looking and he went straight to the pieces that I feel in love with. As we walked through the store I felt as if I was shopping with a friend. Once I found everything that I needed he took me to Taylor who sealed the deal. She was very friendly as well as very thorough in making sure everything that was on my receipt was exactly what I wanted. That made my experience pleasant and easy.
I was greeted by associate Josh I explained what type of furniture I was interested in he knew exactly what I wanted with great pleasure doing so ,Josh was very friendly didn’t rush and gave me other options as well. At the finally sale associated Taylor went over my sale of bill as well to showing me what’s in the system following by a picture . Taylor was friendly and took great pleasure doing so
My fiancee and I called before coming in because we were looking for a specific size and type of bed that we wanted to take home the same day. Greg helped us over the phone in verifying that he had a couple different options for us. When we got into the store he showed us our options that we could take home that day. He gave us time to talk privately about it, and was even able to lower the price a little bit. The buying process with Taylor was very quick and easy and she was so friendly and made sure to talk with us while we waited for everything to process. The only bad experience we had there didn't involve Greg or Taylor but involved another random salesman or manager. We don't know his name, but he was white had black short hair and was pretty tall. This gentleman talked down to another lady sitting at the desk, she was an African American woman. It was disgusting to see someone be so nasty over something he did wrong, especially if he's a part of management and ESPECIALLY to act so disgusting in front of customers. Greg and Taylor are the only reason we would consider going back, but that gentleman definitely needs to be put in his place. This purchase was made on 02/27/2021
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Rodney. We discussed what I was looking for and he took me around the store showing me all of my options. He gave me time to go back around and look at everything on my own and "test sit" some of my options. Talked to Rodney again and explained that I found several pieces I was interested in and that I would be back as soon as I decided on which piece would best suit my needs. Went back in a week later and he remembered who I was. I showed him the pieces I decided on and he was very professional and polite (and fun to work with). The work order was written up and he took me to the customer service department. Taylor greeted us very professionally and was very knowledgeable about our check out procedure. She was a pleasure to work with and answered all the questions I had. My overall experience was wonderful and I would definitely return for other business and will definitely recommend them to anyone!
Greg and Brandon helped my mom and I find the perfect furniture for our new home. Rain was also very friendly at the service rep desk. They made the process fast and easy. We will definitely be coming back for our future furniture needs!
For the love of God at least follow state mandates on mask wearing!It's not supposed to be a chin diaper! Put the darn thing over your mouth and nose if you want my custom!No one was wearing the mask anywhere near properly, thus it was a quick turnaround and they've lost the custom of both myself and my mother in law. Over 5k in sales lost because they couldn't be bothered to follow state law.Shame on them!

My husband and I had an amazing experience on 24Feb21 at Ashley Furniture in Hagerstown. MD. The customer service from sales associates, Rodney and customer service representative, Vanessa were beyond exceptional. The customer service level provided by both Rodney and Vanessa were exactly how customer service should be modeled. These two were the reason we continue to provide business to Ashley Furniture. Special thank you to Rodney for running around the floor and ensuring we are taken care of with our wants/needs. You made buying furniture for our new home quick and painless. You were very personalable and not looking at us as just a quick sale. You never rushed our questions and followed us through to the end. We will ensure we continue to buy through you individually. Terrible customer service. Vanessa and Erin have continuously been rude to us while we are trying to get our furniture. They delivered our couch with no legs! When we called they said they could get us free shipping on our chair that we were still waiting for instead of picking it up. Waited weeks to hear back about the legs and chair. Each time calling there was some excuse as to why something wasn’t right. We got fed up and called about our chair again. After Vanessa telling us she would get free shipping on the chair she claimed she had no idea what we were talking about when we called to schedule the delivery. After months of waiting, we still don’t have all of our furniture! Vanessa is also very rude whether it’s in person or on the phone.
TIPS FROM UNHAPPY FURNITURE OWNERS Update on broken furniture from Ashley Home Store (Hagerstown Md) Hindsight RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! Now if you are lucky to get furniture that has no problems, none of this matters. But if you miss seeing something broken and signoff, you own it through A LONG DRAWN OUT WARRANTY PROCEDURE... IF the delivery person says sign it anyway and the store will make it right...DO NOT SIGN. REJECT THE FURNITURE! BUT WE MISSED seeing the chair had a broken frame that the recliner mechanism attaches to. WHO NORMALLY TIPS FURNITURE OVER & INSPECTS THE FRAME? We saw the chairback didnt seem right, but let delivery guy talk us into accepting it. Should have noted the problem myself at least. Should have had the delivery guys flip the furniture over...INSPECT THE FRAME! Don't worry about inconvenience to delivery guys to check it All out. Take an hour if needed! BUT DO NOT SIGN UNTIL WITHOUT A DOUBT. We DID everything else right...recliner the recliners, check fabric/stitching, check for padding in backs/arms etc. SO..WE ARE $CREWED at this point! Don't deal with Ashley Home Store. Had we known what we know now, we would not have bought there. Honestly, anywhere likely had been the same way. IF you don't reject furniture on delivery and you find out it is broken (frame, etc.)....you are at the mercy of their warranty. Store does not care once 72 hour window is up. They have their money!...our money thru 3rd party credit. Only recourse is to dispute the charge if on credit card...but the store will legally refer to the signed receipt invoice. So you're really STUCK with a broken furniture under WARRANTY. AND THEY KNOW IT. WARRANTY process. File a claim. Store won't help you. They will act nice, but they really don't care. They will be quick to tell you contact CORPORATE office. They will remind you the store does not deal in SERVICE ISSUES. Back tomthe 72 hour window...maybe why they wouldn't return my phone calls...they knew! CORPORATE will remind you of what I said above...it's a SERVICE ISSUE after 3rd day. Corporate office will notify the 3rd party business for repairs. THIS CAN TAKE WEEKS...UP TO COUPLE MONTHS! In our case of the broken recliner chair frame... and who knows if the recliner mechanism is broken (not holding weight when semi-reclined). 6 WEEKS WAIT TIME for a service Technician to physically come to the house to verify what is wrong with the chair. 2 1/2 months from delivery date (Jan 16th)! And still can't be used. Technician will decide if the chair can be repaired to NEW CONDITION...or if it needs to be replaced. Takes almost THREE (3) MONTHS to officially determine! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! AND DOES THE STORE CARE...not really! Quick to remind you its not their problem. RIDICULOUS! And the most annoying part is the store manager does not care. No reply to my email even as little as to say sorry. And dare try to let a district msnager know! The store managers doing all they can to hide your problem. Will anyone reply to emails sent? No! The honest truth is these managers know this process and if they were to be honest, 99% of customers would flee...run as fast as they can. Contacted BBB.
My experience has been exceptional from purchase to delivery. I bought a dining set, area rug, and sectional sofa . Greg was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with my purchase. Vanessa is so personable and a delight to talk to. She arranged my delivery and gave me updates on my order. Aaron is the store manager who also checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. He was so kind and polite and always willing to take care of me. Edwin and Marvin delivered my furniture. They made sure to place everything exactly where I wanted it. They were very careful not to make a mess in my house because it was muddy outside from the recent snow. I will definitely be returning to Ashley for my furniture and decorating needs. These people have gone above and beyond.

What a amazing experience! I spent the whole day with this team working on refurnishing our new dream home. I give them a 10 out of 10 in customers service! I ordered a living room suite in November, was delivered in January and a week later I had them pick it all up due to 2 out of the 3 pieces were broken. Ten minutes after the furniture was delivered it was broken and I called the store. I did end up getting a refund for the furniture, however, I am still out $264. Which I am okay with at this point but I would not recommend this furniture and will not purchase any Ashley Furniture.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!!!!!! My parents and I went into the store today to check on the order status of a dining room table because it had been past the 12 weeks we were quoted to wait. Taylor a customer service representative who “helped” us told us it wouldn’t be coming in for another 8 weeks..... which considering covid and shipping delays was understandable but this was never communicated to us and when questioning why my parents never received so much as one phone call she proceeds to say in the “notes” in her database it said representatives had tried calling both my parents but there was no answer and they were unable to leave a voicemail. This was a complete lie. Neither of my parents had received a missed call nor voicemail from the store. Taylor then accuses my dads voicemail box of being full? She then proceeds to use the store phone to call my dads number on file and what do you know, my dads phone starts ringing and it was perfectly fine to leave a voicemail. It’s obvious the representatives never called and simply made up the fact that they did. The worst part is instead of owning up to it and just apologizing, Taylor tried blaming it on my dad and was extremely disrespectful and passive aggressive. I’m sure this one experience isn’t reflective of the entire store, however I do not recommend Ashley’s Furniture solely based on the lack and care of customer service!!
From the moment Sales Associate Janine greeted my wife and I, we felt no pressure of a sale. She seemed to have just the right amount of interaction to allow us to look around. Once we found the item that we wanted, she was able to help us make the right decision and led us to the Customer Service Representative Amanda, who was equally pleasant to work with. Went in to buy some new bedroom furniture. I almost walked out of the store when I saw that one nightstand was over $1,000 but we kept looking around. We found a set we really liked and Ashley D. was extremely helpful. The rest of the staff was very helpful as well, and Ashley did not pester us or force us into anything, like we experienced at Regency. Checkout was fast and easy and we are excited to get our new set. The sale prices definitely influenced our purchase.
Walked around looked at and sat on lots of furniture. We were in the store 45 minutes and not a single person talked to us or even greeted us. Sorry but we will never be back in this store. By the way we purchased a chair and 2 sofa's elsewhere.
Eric was extremely helpful, even to the point of moving an accent chair so we could pair it with a living room set we were looking at. He measured each set we looked at to ensure fitting into our living room space. We did find a great fit, and appreciated the help. Then Vanessa was extremely efficient and thorough in completing our sales paperwork. Great teamwork.
Well, first off, We had lots of questions. And our Sales Associate Joe answered every one of them. He was very patient and understanding during our entire shopping experience. We looked at a lot of Furniture . We were selecting furniture for 3 bedrooms and a living room. He was very knowledgeable to the brands and quality. I would also like to Thank CS REP Taylor. We were making a very large purchase and called our bank to make sure we would be approved as it exceeded our allowable daily balance. I was on that call for about 35 mins. She too was very patient and understanding.
The furniture is beautiful, and really good quality. What I really like is there's no high pressure sales pitch. Joe D. was great, he listened to us and didn't try to "oversell".....

Understand that I&'m very picky and was looking for a specific style of chair which is out if style right now so no one carries it and I hate shopping. At other stores we received a shrug and no help. Mr Reyes went well beyond the call of duty to help me find something I would not just settle for but like. Everyone was respecting COVID restrictions, the store was clean and comfortable, all the staff was pleasant and respectful. It was as enjoyable as shopping for furniture can be.
Originally I ordered my furniture from the Regency in Frederick. Aaron Baker was the manager there at the time. He is now at this Ashley. It was a very trying time because it was taking forever to get the original furniture, and so I went up to choose furniture that was not a special order. He walked through the store with me to see what my options were. And because the coffee table wasn't going to be in at the same time, Aaron brought my table on his day off, and put it together! 100% satisfied!

I was highly upset with customer service. No one greeted me throughout the entire visit. 3 or 4 sales representatives stood around in a circle and nobody ask if I needed assistance. I walked back around just to see anyone would ask, yet as I was leaving I turned the corner and one was just laying down on a piece of furniture like they're not on the clock. Didn't enjoy my experience for a first time coming.
My experience has been below one star. I understand delays with covid, but I purchased a dining room set had it delivered ine of my chairs had a problem with the fabric on the back so they sent another chair. This chair looked great until I went to sit in it the leg was broken! The stores shut down due to covid like 2 weeks later so I had to wait ( which was no problem) I went in early may spoke to the district manager who told me there would he a delay. Ok, again not a problem but here I am end of November still no replacement !! Not even a phone call from them. I just called spoke to the store manager and all I get is I dont know I can't answer that.. like seriously! She then told me end of December now. Why couldn't someone atleast reach out to me in the 7 months I've been calling and not getting any answers! Will never deal with them again!
Last weekend my husband and I had a fantastic experience picking out and purchasing new living room furniture. In the early months of the pandemic, our one love seat broke and while we looked around a bit in the summer we just didn't see anything we liked. We even visited the Ashley show room, but just weren't ready to pull the trigger I suppose or perhaps it was because we didn't have the right person helping us. Last weekend, Ashley was the one to assist us and could not have done better. She listened to what we wanted and needed and took us around to see a few different sets all of which had elements of things we wanted. She lead us to a set right by the front door that seriously checked all the boxes, one that wasn't showed to us on our previous visit, and we fell in love. We felt confident and decided to purchase it, at a fantastic price, so good that we got the accent chair as well. Checking out was easy and Amanda was so friendly. She was clear and explained everything and what to expect, especially with the delays in delivery due to COVID. From start to finish this experience was great and we will certainly be back when we need more furniture. If you go, ask for Ashley. She will be honest with you, doesn't push you towards something you don't want and was sales person of the month. After working with her it is so easy to see why!

I just received my bedroom furniture and it looks awful in my room. I hate it. To return it, I lose 30% and $169 for team to come get it. Ashley is NOT the place that guarantees that you will like it in your home. And they should with as much as a person spends. My house is full of Ashley furniture but no more- never again will I buy from them
In store service was great. None of the things I bought came in the time frame they had told me it would. Calling and asking they just tell you it will be in soon to get you off the phone. Called multiple times, they said they were looking at options and would call back but never do. Would not recommend unless looking to wonder where your items are and not have any helpful customer service.

I am a returning customer to this store, I was greeted by a sales rep named Ashley, who was engaging and very helpful, the pieces of furniture I wanted was actually on the selling floor, she took the time to walk me through everything, I was very impressed and she left me with no unanswered questions.. Next I was brought over to Vanessa, who took care of all the financing and again answered every question I had and assured me she would keep me informed weekly on the status of my furniture deliver. These ladies are amazing..

We purchased 2k worth of furniture mid August.. it&'s now the first week in November and I&'m still waiting. Rash time I call, they say it&'ll be 2 more weeks.. we were told 6-8 weeks, it&'s going on 12!
Thw customer service was upscale durin this covid-19 they still worked hard and had great concern for their visitors

Personally we have had the best experience. Going in I knew that as a nation many things were shut down. For two months many places stoped working. When I went in to Ashley I understood that. I was told upfront that there was delays. I accepted those terms. The front desk managers have given me updates every time I called. I really can&'t expect them to call me with updates, they have 100s of people that are waiting they would never be able to do this task. Overall they have been great. Our sells Rep Jack was awesome. The management team was very accommodating. We even had a mishap with one piece of furniture. I didn&'t get mad I called talked with the managers and they worked it out and fixed it quickly. People need to realize somethings are out of there hands and chill. Thank you Ashley Furniture Hagerstown. If you have patients you&'ll have a great experience.
I would give ZERO stars if I could. I never leave reviews but my experience with this store was so terrible I feel the need to let anyone and everyone know! First, we tell them which mattress we want while the kids & I are checking out all the cool features of how the bed reclines etc. so that would likely mean that’s what we want? Yeah? Ok so, we order that bed. We’re told to wait 7-10 business days before we get the mattress. After a month and a half we finally get our mattress, but there’s no remote with it for all the features like the one at the store.. ya know, the one we said we wanted 😑 so we call the store and they say it’s another $600 to get that adjustable frame???? What so we can wait another month or so to get what we originally wanted and assumed we were getting??? Very poor communication skills and even worse customer service. Never returning to Ashley’s again.
They said we would have furniture in 4 to 6 weeks it's been 3 months they were rude and I feel like they stole my 3,000 dollars. They won't even issue a refund horrible service never going to them again

Due to their quality and their solid built. My current dinning room, bedroom and living room sets are from Ashley. So, I decided to visit our local Ashley store on August 9th, 2020. I must say that I regret my visit. As I walked in with my partner we were "greeted" with a simple Hi, then the associate walked away. So, we proceeded to browse around the floor by ourselves. When we arrived the back counter a young lady looked at us up and down like we were something out of this world and didn't even speak to us. I saw a couple of people walk-in and next thing I see, an associate where helping them with their purchase. Why weren't we treated the same way? Just because we were latinos? Everyone at the store seems to be Caucasian which is nothing wrong with that. But if you have any difference with people from other backgrounds you should keep that aside from your work. Since you're at work to make business not to push your hate amount your customers. As we keep on walking to the back I found the dinning room that I was looking for. The North Shore dinning set with 8 chairs. I truly wanted that set since I have a few more pieces (bar and stools) of the same collection. As I was checking the dinning set for prices etc. No one, absolutely no one would of approach us or offer us any type of help. So, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. I didn't find the North Shore dinning set i wanted at first. But, I found a nice dinning room set that goes with the rest of my furniture and more importantly I was treated with respect and dignity. That's all it takes to make a customer experience go from 0 to a 100. Ashley could of have bank my $2,651.52 but your local employees don't know how to do business and even worse they don't know how to hide and fake their resentment against people who doesn't look or sound like them.

Just wanted to reach out and thank my sales rep Greg and the customer service rep Vanessa. Both were extremely helpful to me when it came to purchasing pretty much all new furniture. Not only did they make the purchasing process easy, but Greg and the district manager were able to give me a little extra percentage off of the top on an already great deal. I know when it comes time to purchase more furniture and tables, I will definitely ask to work with him again seeing as he is open, honest, and extremely professional.
So I purchased a fielding set for around 4000 dollars upon receiving set the pillows formed weird ripples in them and the sofa creaks loudly with every movement from delivery. Received on a Friday night and even though it is stated on website return policy 30 days this store does not follow it at all and claim to have no association with the website or the Ashley corporation but is a private store (even though logo is identical). They also stated items had to be returned within 72 hours and being this store is closed on Sunday when we tried to call and return we could not. Contacted them on Monday said that we were outside 3 day i guess the few hours on Friday count for 24 hours. Then they said service was the only option so upon calling service (even after purchasing their protection plan $250) they said that they do not service sound related issues. So now after I argued with ever person up to the regional manager they told me that they would do nothing to resolve this issue and had no intention of trying to rectify this situation. So now I am left with a 4000 dollar ripply creaky couch set that “will not” be repaired even though it was received this way. Please do not shop at this store or any of their stores you will absolutely regret it and they do not care. If you must shop at Ashley order online only you have the ability to return under their return policy (same products). I will be contacting better business bureau i pray people will see this post and save themselves the absolute nightmare that is Hagerstown Ashley furniture store.
Great first time buying a sectional for our living room. Greg was very helpful in answering all of our questions regarding delivery and protection plan, and Vanessa was very helpful in telling us the process for delivery and setting up a day to get our furniture. Had a wonderful experience shopping for living room furniture. Our sales associate Jack was very patient and informative. He actually walked the entire store with us at least 3 times. Amanda our customer service rep was also helpful by making the check out process quick and easy. The experience was so good that we sent our son back the next day to shop with Jack. Between the two of us we purchased 2 living room sets and one bedroom set.
Brandon helped us pick out the couch we wanted and we are very happy.
The last couple things I ordered have been destroyed and the customer service is horrible I call the 1-866# cant get ahold of anyone and send emails and never get answers back.

My family and I where in need of a new couch we enjoyed our experience in your Hagerstown MD location. The store was clean and the staff was nice. Brandon was our sales associate and he did an excellent job. Brandon was informative and polite. He inquired as to what we where looking for, he explained how the store was laid out and all the sales and financing offers, then he allowed my family and I time to shop peacefully while he remained available at a distance for questions until we needed him. We appreciate the service without pushy salesmanship. There was also a nice personal touch when he offered my 18 month old daughter a balloon as she roamed around like she own the place. We left happy and the new owners of a nice new couch plus a 3pc coffee and end table set all covered with a great 5 year warranty. Thanks Brandon keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience purchasing a sectional couch along with dresser/end tables for the bedroom. Scott showed us all the different options with the sectional and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Then he got us a great deal on only the parts we needed and helped us find the perfect bedroom set as well. I will definitely make sure I deal with Scott on any other trips there. Casey took over on the payment side of things, and even drew us a picture to confirm that what we were paying for was what we needed on the sectional couch, then she set us up with a quick delivery time. Fantastic service, highly recommended.

We bought our first couch about 2 weeks ago from here. We worked with Darnell and recommend working with him! He was patient and allowed us to browse and when we finished a lap he asked us if we had questions or had one we liked. We enjoyed being able to roam without being watched or followed. He was extremely helpful and personal! Casey was also super helpful getting us squared away with all the delivery and financing information. Both were amazing and super friendly!

After looking tirelessly for a bed, we stopped in Ashley in Hagerstown. We were greeted by Greg, we told him we were looking for a bed. He graciously let us look without hovering. He did walk over to explain the pricing and current percentages off. Greg requested us to feel at home, he will be around if we need him. After looking throughout the store, we not only decided on a bed, but the whole bedroom suite. He wrote up the sale and pointed out our discount. Casey was closing out our purchase and was so kind to assure us she will do weekly calls for updates for our delivery. She scanned for the warehouse she could retrieve the furniture quickest. He even got the district manager involved to get the best deal for us he could. Great experience at checkout too, Paige got is all squared away quickly and without any hassle.

Dealing with Ashley Furniture has been the WORST experience ever! We purchased new furniture for our daughter in November 2019. Ashley Furniture has owed us TWO refunds for THREE months. I have called numerous times (10 +). EVERY time they say they will email their corporate office and get back to me. I have NEVER gotten a return phone call. They totally ignore that fact that I call or that they owe us over $500.00.
We recently were in to look at living room furniture. We ended working with Scott and it was wonderful. He gave us space and attention while helping us find what we ended up taking home later that day. He was the salesperson everyone should look for to work with.
Greg and Paige was amazing!!! They did an excellent job with Greg showing us the couch’s and helping us figure out which one was right for us. Paige did a marvelous job helping us pay and giving us a time that the couch’s will be in. I highly recommend using these two nice people.

We declined at that time, but he came back after we we had decided to look into buying some furniture. Great timing on his part. Greg ran the numbers, and came back quickly to give us the information, and allow us to talk it over without any pressure. We decided not to get the entire set, and he wasn't pressuring us to buy. He reran the numbers a second time, and then we agreed. He brought us to Page, who graciously called synchrony for a credit increase. Page was very friendly, and made this process much easier and comfortable. She was very conversational, and I appreciate that. Furniture shopping can still be fun. Our salesman was Scott Sword. Pleasant and knowledgeable. He was very helpful. The store layout was cool. Biggest selection of the 3 furniture stores we visited. Scott got us a great deal. They offered a nice warranty that covers the living room set for 5 years and the delivery fee want bad either.
We recently moved to the Hagerstown area and were in need of a bedroom set. Greg and Page made it so easy to get what we needed. Their knowledge of the products and financing helped us to get the set we needed at a Great price. We will be returning for future purchases.

Pretty good layout and selection. Our sales associate, Greg, helped us out on several occasions, all while never being pushy or over the shoulder at all. He had some good suggestions and advice as we told him the configuration of our room that we were trying to re-furnish. Helped to get us a real good deal, that, so far, is meeting our satisfaction totally (we await the delivery soon). Page, our customer service rep, answered all our questions about stock, delivery options and timeframes, and offered us advice on if we were to change when we had scheduled the delivery. All in all, these two, and Ron, too, made for a pretty pleasing venture into Ashley today. Real pleased so far, I say, as we await the delivery coming up.

🙆♂️ Wow! What a store! Ashley HomeStore was a "huge", very clean, everything was tidy and in it's place kind of store. Did I mention that it was Huge? 🙄 Must have been a slow day though because when my wife and I walked 🚶in the door 🚪 out from all the rain ☔, there must have been about six or so salesman standing around chatting with one another probably about the big game 🏈 on Sunday. Anyway I just realized, I have to get ready for church right now so I can't write 📝 you guys a full tutorial about our trip to Ashley HomeStore. The gist of it is, we went in to buy a new bed to start building our credit, because we always paid for everything with a debt card 💳 or cash so we have "NO credit" for the past 40 years which is worse than having bad credit, so the four stars ⭐are because we're grateful for a chance to jump start our credit, but the way they did it was not entirely honest in my opinion! After we went through the contract for the item we purchased and went over the contract very thoroughly, initialed everything, and signed our first born over to them. Then they wanted the first payment including delivery 🚚 and set up charges and and a fifty dollar 💵 fee for pulling up a contract that already exists in the computer 🖥 then they really did something that upset me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian man and all,but I don't like to feel like I just been taken to the cleaners so to speak. We went to the next lady and she showed us a breakdown of everything and told us that it would take 2-8 weeks to get what we had just purchased to our home 🏡 in the meantime they want a nice payment, on time mind you, bi-weekly weather we have the product in our home 🏡 or not!!

Worked with some really great people. The whole process of buying a new bed (the first one I've bought in my lifetime) was painless. My only complaint is that the mattress had to be shipped to the store and I was not told in advance that I would be making payments on furniture that I might not receive for 2-8 weeks. This is a very important detail that I would like to have known upfront. Other than that, I was very impressed with everyone.

Took forever to get our order in, piece was damaged, waited again, finally called, they never even ordered a new piece. You would have thought they would offer to deliver for free, but no. Never shopping here again.

I usually know what I am looking for and that is what happened with the purchase of living room furniture. I did not need a salesman to "sell" me the furniture, I needed to know if color was available, price, and delivery time. I was shown what was available and I liked what I saw and Jack needed give me a price which was acceptable and then delivery time was given to me, longer than I expected but OK. Amanda in the office made the payment plan easy and this part went through sooner that I expected.
So there i was on Saturday afternoon driving down the road and what grabbed my attention you ask? Yes, you guessed it...a large yellow inflatable crazy waving man! It was at that moment i realized that i needed (2) more bar stools for an upcoming Superbowl Party. I went in the store and was immediately greeted by Sales Associate "Greg"...this guy was incredible although he faced some resistance from the store GM.....this did not deter Greg's persistent efforts to provide me the best possible service. Greg eventually got the deal done despite his "GM's" original objections to my request. But, honestly the entire experience was only made better by "Kayla". I believe she is the customer service manager for this store location. Kayla's charming personality combined with her product knowledge and computer proficiency led to the perfect transaction. I feel both Greg and Kayla deserve much more than the little $10.00 check stipend for being mentioned in this review. If i were the store GM I would buy them lunch today from the Outback and hand wash and wax their vehicles, as it is really hard to get great help!!! Shout out to my main man Todd Wanek for having such great staff at the Hagerstown Maryland store location.

Not only was Kayla (the store manager) beyond unhelpful, she was EXTREMELY RUDE. My mother had a medical emergency, leaving her not in conscious mind. I had to take over all responsibilities, including her order with this location. Kayla showed zero compassion for the situation I am currently in and gave me no violable options for help. She made me feel hopeless, on a simple furniture order which has not even be delivered. I called corporate and while they agreed that Kayla was beyond rude, there was nothing they could do because this is a franchise. I even called other locations, ran the situation by them, and they all would have allowed a cancellation. Kayla is choosing profit over human decency & I'm sorry this location has her representing them. Please choose to spend your money elsewhere, on a company that actually cares about their customers. I am truly embarrassed, disappointed, and to be honest, angry with how Kayla & this store are representing not only Ashley Furniture but humanity as a whole. Don't shop here please.

This is my second purchase from Ashley Furniture. The sales representative who helped us was named Ashley. She was very kind and helped us get the best price available. She also did not pressure us into making a decision. She let us take our time and look around after informing us of some information. When we went to check out, Amanda made sure to go over everything very thoroughly. Both ladies were very nice and I would recommend checking out the store for your furniture needs!

Purchased recliner in hagerstown store on Friday November 27th was told that it would be in to store on following friday that was a lie !! this is tuesday january 14th and still not in Than store manager talks down to me and tells me they have 8 weeks to deliver this to store ! this store is a joke and I will never purchase there ever again !!!
I wish I could actually give this place a lower score. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. Bought a sofa in store in Catonsville on November 29, 2019. Was called and told it was being delivered Dec 27. I rearranged my holiday and work schedules to be home to accept a delivery that never came. Oh yeah, and cleaned out all the old furniture to make space for the new. When I called to find out what time, I was told the sofa wasn&'t in stock yet and it would be delivered by Jan 13 (and that they would call me to schedule the day before). Got some phone call from some executive at the distribution center to apologize and said he would take care of it personally. Never heard from him again. Got called Jan 13 just before 5 pm to tell me my sofa would be here Jan 14 from 11 to 3 pm. Rearranged work again. Cleared out the space again. Then today at 11:30 am, get told the truck my sofa was on was in an accident (nobody hurt, thankfully). They would be 2 hours later than originally planned. Fine, accidents happen. They call back today at 3:30 pm to inform me sofa is not coming today. (Must. Move. Old. Flipping. Love. Seat. Back. Inside Again.) &"We can schedule you for Thursday, Friday or Saturday.&" I ask why they can&'t bring to me first thing TOMORROW (Wednesday) and am told there is a police investigation and nothing can be taken off the truck. So I begrudgingly schedule for Thursday and demand first delivery in the morning but then I start to wonder ... how do they *know* when the investigation will be over? Am I gonna get another call Thursday rescheduling delivery for the FOURTH BLOODY TIME? What ever happened to rando exec who said he was handling it? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. Wish me luck on getting my sofa. Hopefully we can have it by the SuperBowl, but not holding my breath.

At the Hagerstown MD store, my sales associate Ashley was friendly, outgoing and helpful. We were able to find the chest of drawers I liked and she negotiated a price I was happy to pay. Let me just start out by saying that my Sales Associate, Ashley, is a literal saint sent from the heavens!!! To make an EXTREMELY long story as short as possible..... I’m buying a house that is being gutted and renovated. I went to the Hagerstown store looking for living room furniture. I bought a sectional and coffee table, found out a week or so later that it’s wayyyyyy too big for the space. So, I go back for a second time and was lucky enough to work with Ashley to help me pick out a couch and love seat. She was beyond patient with me (and my mom), knowledgeable, friendly, and all around just super helpful as we tried out just about every option on their floor. Finally, I find a set I love and get it ordered and set up the delivery. Fast forward to today (less than 2 weeks from my closing date) when I find out from my contractor that the second set of furniture isn’t going to fit in the space either. Sooo, go back to the store for a THIRD time to pick out different furniture that will actually fit and ended up getting a different coffee table. Thankfully, Ashley was working when I went in and got my previous order cancelled, ordered my new couch, chair, coffee & end table set, entryway table, and a super cute mirror. Not only did she get my problem resolved, she did it with ease and a friendly attitude. She also was able to get everything I wanted ordered and delivery to my house set up for less than it would have been if I ordered it online! I cannot say enough good things about Ashley and I would highly recommend going to see her for any of your furniture purchases (hopefully you will be less of a pain for her than I was). Also, HUGE thank you to my Customer Service Rep, Casey, who was equally as helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly as Ashley. They were able to make my situation way less stressful and had us laughing the whole time while they were getting my issues resolved in a timely manner. Starting with dining area, he showed us several pieces, until I found what I wanted, table 4 chairs and a bench. Next was living room, I told Darnell what I didn’t want being a sleeper couch. After showing us what seem to be all the living room couches and love seats on the floor it was narrowed down to 2 sets. Darnell stated to me, he thought I was leaning to the first one he showed us. I told him yeah, “ I think you are right,” he said , “come on let’s see the first on again.” For me to sit on again. I said “sold”. Completing the set with end tables and a coffee table. On to the bedroom, I knew what I wanted in my mind, told him and he showed me one that I fell in love with. As we were getting ready to complete our sale, I mentioned I forgot, I needed a liquor cabinet. He said okay, “let’s look at some on the inventory screen”. Patiently helping me look and not finding what I wanted he said “let’s look what they are showing that is going with my dining set” and I found It. Which completed my shopping. Our customer service person “ Page” was just as wonderful to deal with also, very pleasant person even to the point of us joking around and laughing. Making sure all paperwork was completed and done. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the delay in delivery due to inventory being taken and certain items not being in stock and having to be shipped to their store. If you are looking to buy without any pressure ask for DARNELL.

I'm disappointed that I was told it would be 3 days for someone to tell me an approximate date for when my order would come in. Then someone called and claimed the system was down and that it would be a couple more days and that they would call me as soon as they knew. No one called, so I called and they still don't know. I'm close to cancelling this order if I don't hear from someone soon because I saw the exact same chair online for 30 bucks less anyway. I bet this store would be able to give me an approximate time frame as to when I would receive my chair!
Ashley, the sales representative, was very nice and let us roam the store. She asked if we had any questions several times and made sure that we understood everything. Page, the customer service representative, was also very nice and worked through the paperwork process quickly. I love the fact the she will be calling weekly to keep us updated on the status of our order and delivery. Great experience!
Truly the worst experience. Sales associates were rude, deceitful, and unhelpful. I dealt with Darnell and Kayla mainly, both lied about the price of the product and shipment details. I was told they could do an online price match and that the extra fees I was seeing was due to taxes. Later when I was able to look into the receipt further I realized it was never taxes they just lied about the price match, when I went back to the store to question it I was thrown from one unhelpful employee to the next, one of which even made the comment " oh this will be fun" with a smirk after looking up something on his system and then sending us to Darnell. The employees all went back and forth on if they even do price match and when calculating my purchase I was given different reasons for the extra charge such as taxes, a price matching fee(what??), an online delivery fee(for an in store purchase??), it honestly seemed like they just make prices up as they go. Kayla also informed me that they do not track their sales and cannot go back to see what they sold the item at in the past, coming from a sales background I found that very hard to believe. I was also told 2 week delivery, possibly 3. Well it's been 5 and now I'm being told another 3 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. I was told a manager named JD would contact me and never did. If the furniture ever arrives I hope there are no damages.
I truly enjoyed my experience at Ashley's furniture with salesman Tyler. He is very helpful. I mentioned to him what a good job he's doing as a salesman and his response was golden. "I'm not a salesman, I'm a people's person." Great family atmosphere at Ashley's. Two thumbs up guys!
We were looking for a twin bed. The store has very little inventory on the floor to see. They only had one bed to look at. I made the comment to the sales associate Greg who was helping us that it was solid wood and that's what we wanted. He showed us more stuff online and we picked one to buy. Greg had to keep getting the floor manager to answer any questions because he didn't know anything. When I went to pay, first I signed a paper that was explained as I was picking up the bed myself. The representative Tyler had his hand covering words that said it could take 2-6 weeks for delivery. I didn't see that until it was explained to us after a phone call. My copy of that paper was immediately folded and stuffed inside a brochure. Nothing was explained or pointed out to me. Then AFTER I signed the sales receipt it was told to me that the bed was not in stock and was going to take several weeks until I could get it. It actually took 4 weeks from the time we were in the store. And when we called to ask about the bed we were told I signed a contract that spelled everything out, that it takes 2-6 weeks for furniture to arrive. Also they won't refund money, only store credit. These terms were on the back which I was never made aware of. They are very deceitful in how they conduct business. We interacted with 4 different people while in the store because not one person seemed to know what to do, they would pass us off to someone else when we had questions. And then finally I find out that the bed, when we said from the very beginning we wanted solid wood, was made from MDF. That's very cheap material, easily breakable, poor quality. We easily could have gotten something better somewhere else for what we paid. DO NOT GO TO ASHLEY! I'm still deciding whether to contact the DA office about them it's so bad.
I walked into the store and was greeted by William Dixon, sales associate assisted me with purchasing, a beautiful leather sofa, loveseat, & chaise. Ricky was kind and knowledgeable of the products in the store and me feel very comfortable. Page, the customers service rep gave me all the information needed to seal the deal. After spending 4000$ on a sectional sofa with an extended warranty this store is not willing to deliver a full replacement of my furniture after the warranty company has decided to do so. When they sell you the product they rave how wonderful it is. One year later and a month not so much. The management is not customer focused and will not agree to not charge for the delivery of the replacement. This is the second time I have been dissatisfied with this stores customer service. Buyer beware!!!!

This location is great -- the sales associates don't pressure you and are good at allowing you to roam around and take your time. We worked with Ricky who has a great personality, is very knowledgeable and won our young son over immediately with a balloon. Our customer service rep was Casey, who was equally personable and took her time with us to make sure everything was right. And we really love our new couch. All around, a great experience!

The furniture we bought 2 weeks ago never left the facility so we canceled and was charged a fee of $93.
i did rate a 5 star for my initial experience , however since then my customer service after the sale is lacking to say the least. I now have to pick up my furniture that was suppose to be delivered in order for me to get it before the Thanksgiving holiday. Now the warranty i was suppose to receive is no longer available because its not being delivered and they don't want to do anything to accommodate the customer after the sale. On my job we take pride in customer satisfaction . Obviously This store does not.
Update on my review. Still pleased with the service we received when purchasing bed. Very very disappointed on how long bed lasted. Slept in it 3 times 4th time had it reclined fully up to watch tv and it broke. Cannot sleep in bed fully upright. Called to let them know bed broke already and they transferred me to i guess customer service at their main office. Wish i could remember her name but the most rudest person you could possible talk to. About 3 weeks later now and still cant sleep in bed. Paid around 3500.00 and we cant get anyone to come up and repair it. They call and they dont know how long it will take to get someone here to fix it. We were going to buy new living room furniture but i dont see that happening. Will buy somewhere else. Update 8 months later still no one came and fized our bed Leaving a five star rating for how helpful and nice and for giving us a discount. My husband has cancer of the esophagus and just came home from major surgery from john hopkins. I explained we needed a bed that you could sleep on at a 35 degree angle and perhaps a good deal on one because medical bills were putting a hurt on us. Well, lets just say they gave us a discount and really seemed to care about us. Now just waiting on bed to arrive and when it does I will leave feed back on how nice it is. They guaranteed us we wouldn't be disappointed. Again, thank you to the sales man that helped us so much

As an air BnB superhost I’m always looking to improve the experience for my guests. I’m a researcher and online shopper and went in knowing exactly the look/style that I wanted in my guest room. In this case I’m replacing my queen size bed frame with a upholstered tufted headboard and frame. Ricky was very accommodating and on a mission to help me find the perfect piece. Within a matter of minutes he knew exactly the bed to show me. It was love at first sight! He made sure it fit in my budget and walked me through the benefits of protecting my investment with their warranty program. Vanessa helped me finalize the purchase and we’ll long and short of it, I see a friendship in our future! I found a sleeper sofa that I really liked online but, wanted to see in person. I was able to go to our local Ashley's HomeStore and not only was I able to look at the sofa I wanted but, purchase it hassle free. Not only was Tyler our sales associate very welcoming, he was able to provide us with great deal on our new sleeper sofa. Absolutely horrible place to ever get furniture from! I’ve had a sectional since April 2019... not even a year yet. The one part of the sectional is bowing inward. Has someone come look at it from Ashley just to be told it was deamed customer use. Crazy. How do two people who barely sit on the furniture because we work all the time cause it to bow inward? Had yet another issue with the one seam busting out of the Cushion and was told from “corporate” because the guy said the last issue was customer use they’re pretty much assuming this one is to and won’t be sending anyone out to look at or fix our furniture! Also bought the $200 5 yr warranty they talk you into, and they won’t cover it either because they said it’s a manufacture issue. Absolutely the worst place and worst customer service I have ever gotten!
Ashley was our sales person. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. She was able to put us with the right furniture to meet her needs. The only draw back was the delivery men spoke mostly Spanish which made me a little uncomfortable. I felt disadvantage. I was sure if they were saying anything about the furniture or my house. It may be a benefit to future customs to ask them to speak only English.

From the moment I walked into the store a sales person my the Darnell introduce himself, and asked if he could help me. I then replied that I was looking around for any pictures of horses. Darnell stated we have a couple on the wall, and if you see anything that you may like please feel free to asked me questions concerning the price it maybe on sale just let me know. We were very pleased with the service we received at Ashley in Hagerstown. We took a long time to decide and went back and forth a LOT. Brandon, our sales associate was amazing, patient, friendly and fun. He even stayed an hour past his shift to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. He did not rush us or pressure us and showed us numerous options to try and make the furniture work in the space we needed it to. Once we finally decided, Amanda in Customer Service was extremely friendly as she explained delivery and helped us finish out our purchase even though it was almost closing time. When we finally left Brandon was waiting at the door to tell us goodbye one last time. We will definitely go back for future needs.

We just moved into out new place on October 1st. Two weeks prior we went to Ashley to look for a bedroom set. We were treated by Tyler and he showed us a few bedroom king sets. He was very helpful! We had a good experience over all with everything. Also Vanessa the customer service rep was helpful too! We got a great deal on our set and had free delivery. The furniture is beautiful and I highly recommend here !

I’ve had nothing but a bad experience I got a bed and I ordered a bed protecter 2 weeks before we got the bed and got a call on a Saturday stating the bed cover was in I was away and went up on a Sunday and they stated it wasn’t there so another week went by and I called and said they are on back order then the bed came on a Tuesday still no cover we’ll freak accident my dog excepted and peed on the bed yet if I had the cover bed would be protected so called again they wouldn’t do anything about it I stated if I knew I wasn’t getting the cover b4 the bed I woulda not excepted it wouldn’t cover anything because the damage so they did pay us back for protector but called me on a Monday and said cover was there yet again run up to Hagerstown and find out it’s a king not a queen yet again no cover also finding out they sold my cover same as the day they called me it was there this place is a joke I learned my lesson if ur looking for furniture go some were else save your self the headache!

After experiencing a bad shopping trip at another furniture store (passed 6 store employees and ignored) I went to Ashley's in Hagerstown. I was immediately greeted by Aaron. This man is AWESOME and unbelievably patient. I bought a couch and loveseat. Since I still have to furnish most of a 4 bedroom house. . . I will be back. What a great representative of customer service. I'd also like to say that Casey at the desk could not possibly do her job any better. Thank you for making my shopping so enjoyable!

My husband and I could never find a unique bedroom set. But, we decided to go to Ashley Furniture in Hagerstown (to accomplish what had proven to be an impossible task before). When we first entered the door, I told my husband, “I don’t believe we will find anything.” Then we met a welcoming and friendly Sales Associate. He met us with a smile and an abundance of confidence! He started with, “Hello – Welcome to Ashley. My name is Ricky.” Without missing a beat, he said, “I’ll help make you a believer with our great sales.” He gave us time to explore. But, when we needed help, he was there. Ricky worked with us until we found a bed in one set and the chest, nightstands, and dresser in another. He made sure all the pieces matched well together. Still, there was the matter of purchasing. We were not sure about getting everything at one time. Then, Ricky told us about Synchrony credit. We applied and got enough credit to cover all the items. He gave all the necessary information to Amanda. She was polite and helpful with answering all of our additional questions. Thank you Ricky and Amanda for your insightful, and fantastic service. You both went above and beyond our expectations. Ricky you said, “I’ll make you a believer,” and you unquestionably did!!! My husband and I will definitely consider Ashley (Hagerstown) in the future for our furniture needs.

Great experience with this store and the team. Tyler went out of his way to assist and help me decide what would work best in the space I described and even carried a side table from across the room so I could actually see what it would look like beside of my choice. Excellent customer service! Amanda was very helpful explaining the financing and delivery and taking care of all of the paperwork. She has called to provide updates on the delivery and has been extremely professional and courteous.

I am very pleased with the service I got today at Ashley HomeStore. My Sales Associate was Logan, who was very friendly, helpful, and professional. He showed me every item I wanted to buy and discussed the features and cost of each one. He took a lot of time with me, and I never felt pressured to buy anything. In fact, I left and went to another store, but I did not get the service that I got at Ashley so I came back to make my purchase there. The Customer Service Rep, Anit, was also very professional and friendly. Logan and Anit are assets to your store!

Scott was awesome when we came in looking for new couches. We couldn’t decide which one to get out of the 2 sets we were looking at but he had another idea and showed us one that we hadn’t seen yet. The one he showed us is the one we ended up buying. After we decided to make the purchase, Vanessa checked us out and was extremely helpful and nice. She made sure to explain everything about the delivery process and answered all of our questions. I will shop here for all of my future furniture needs.

I bought a bed for my son in May at this location to be delivered, in July it was finally delivered with parts missing. I was told 7-10 business days I’d receive the parts, 15 business days went by and no parts I called back and was then told I’d receive the first part of the following week. “NO PARTS” I then asked for a refund. I had a scheduled pick up to return the bed and no show. They then called to say they scheduled it on a day they don’t pick up and rescheduled. I was left a message in Spanish and when I speak English of the time of pick up for the next date. I’m now at the store and they’re not refunding me today, they have to look into it. No bed no refund. I WILL NEVER BUY OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. They’re terrible, liars, cons and quite frankly very unprofessional.

My sales associate, Brandon, helped me out throughout searching for the perfect couch for my home. I was stuck between choosing a couch from here or from a nearby furniture store. The only thing that I was stuck on was that the couch I really liked from Ashley wasn't a sectional. Brandon looked up in their system and found that the same couch I loved has the option of being a sectional. The customer service representative, Amanda, also was truly helpful throughout as she reassured me with any question I had about the couch. She kept up with me whenever there was a new notification on the whereabouts of my couch, since it had to be transferred from the Baltimore warehouse to this Hagerstown store. Everything was very timely and even the warehouse/backroom associates were super helpful! 10/10 would recommend.

Darnell was great. He dealt with me patiently across two days even though I am a very picky and indecisive customer. He even stayed after hours to accommodate my busy schedule. Vanessa was also wonderful and she stayed late to finalize the sale. She was very friendly and maintained an excellent customer service attitude even after I made a potentially frustrating last minute change to my order well after closing time. Knowledgeable and personable staff. The store had exactly the styles I wanted. Would highly recommend buying your new furniture here.
It took me forever to figure out how to leave a Google review but Vanessa and Liz deserve it! Liz greeted us right at the door, got to know us first, and then took us around listening to our pros and cons. She even helped us to think outside the box when we couldn't find an entertainment center we liked so we found a serving station from a dining room set that was perfect. Vanessa was very down to earth to help with the final transaction and I look forward to working with her as we work out the delivery of our furniture!

Went in to check out the labor day sale. Brandon didn't pressure us and worked to get us a great deal and Vanessa took time to explain the warranty terms and delivery process.
While the in-store service was great, the delivery service was HORRIBLE. An automated phone message was left on my Mother's phone regarding confirmation for her delivery time (which she never confirmed) and the day of the delivery, the driver did not show up within the specified time. She received a message on her phone 7 mins after the cut-off time for delivery (my husband had left for the store at 1). Then they charged her an additional delivery fee and the girl at the store had the audacity to also complain about their delivery service and said that they, "don't have to be on time". My mother will not be going back, and neither will my husband or myself and we just bought a house.
Our salesperson "Aaron" was very helpful and knowledgeable. He provided us with many options, suggestions and did a great job seeking and obtaining very competitive prices for the items that we were interested in.
Tyler was so very helpful, even got a wheelchair for my husband and drove him around to look at the pieces we were considering! Amanda was quick and efficient in completing our order and advising us of delivery options. Once again, Ashley Hagerstown - Tyler and Amanda, you're rockstars!

Darnell helped us to find a sleep sofa that was not only comfortable but also fit into our budget! Vanessa was easy to work with when paying for our new sleep sofa and side chair. I look forward to more purchases from Ashley furniture.
Be wary of sizes here. I provided measurements for the stairway and doorways, and was gaslit by the salesmen into purchasing a couch that would not fit. They claim to not charge for failed deliveries due to not fitting. This is not true. You are given the option to select something else in the store of equal or greater value and pay the difference. You will also need to pay for delivery again. If you are not interested in buying something else, and want your money back they charge a 30% restocking fee. Restocking fees are pretty standard but 30% on local deliveries is outrageous.
Sale is only for today... Buy now or you'll regret it later.... Lol

Great experience! Our sales associate, Brandon, was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable on his inventory, and took the time to figure out exactly what we needed. (I add that by no means were we easy customers.) However, Brandon was able to figure it out and make it happen. After that, Venessa couldn’t have made the paperwork any easier! I highly recommend them, and when you go, ask for Brandon. I couldn’t recommend him more!
I have never ever waited almost an entire month to receive furniture. I went in one day to look for furniture. I specifically was looking for an sectional. I decided not get a specific sectional because the employee, Tyler, informed me that the item would take a whole month to receive. I did not want to wait a whole month for furniture, so i asked the employee is there anything other sectional that I could receive earlier. I ended up purchasing several pieces of furniture that day. I have yet to receive my furniture. I called in several times to receive an update and I was told several times the furniture will not be here until the end of the month. The employee also lied to me about the monthly payments. On top of that, the receptionist has not called me to give me a weekly update of the estimated arrival. They are inconsistent with what they say. I would not waste my time ordering from here. This is my first and last experience. I would not recommend this company.
I purchased a storage trunk right off of the floor. Ashley was able to match the online price and was very personable and friendly. Amanda did a wonderful job checking me out and getting my purchase loaded in my vehicle.

When I first entered the Ashley HomeStore on Wesel Blvd in Hagerstown, MD, I was immediately greeted by Darnell, a very friendly, polite and respectful salesman. I told him the dimensions of the size dining table I needed and he showed me a few possible tables, but they were not suitable. I had noticed a high-top table near the front door when we entered, so before we left, I asked Darnell about that table. He gave me a great deal on the table with 5 padded chairs. Excellent! I had to get it! Casey was the Customer Service Rep who helped finalize my purchase. I was treated politely, and promptly. I would purchase from them again!

We had a really good experience with the associates from this store. My family and I were looking for furniture to furnish my new apartment. Our intent was to just look. . . . . . however, Scott was very helpful and showed us some really good deals so we couldn't pass it up. I bought a bedroom set, living room set and and dining room set and got exactly what I wanted. Scott and Amanda both were very helpful and informative and worked with me during the entire process. They should be commended for their outstanding customer service skills and they definitely represent the store well.
Nice store..beautiful furniture..ok prices. But..the chair we wanted in the "sale" section they wouldn't sell us the floor model of because of its "popularity". We were told it could be nearly 2 weeks. Intended or not, we felt baited...So I took my pile of cash next door and bought two others.
I initially went to the Ashely furniture store in Winchester, VA and I found the sales service people very rude and unwilling to help. They said that I would not be able to pick up the furniture at their store and that I would have to pay an $150 delivery and assembly charge in order to obtain the online sale price for the furniture that I wanted. I didn't want to have to pay this fee because the items that I wanted to purchase were not that big/look difficult to assemble. In addition, I didn't want to have to take a day off of work or waste a weekend day waiting for them to deliver my furniture. Therefore; later that day I drove up to the Hagerstown, MD store in which I found their sales associate (Ashely) very friendly and helpful. She not only arranged for me to be able to pick my furniture in the store, but she also honored the online sale price without charging me the extra $150 assembly/delivery fee that the Winchester store said that they would have to charge me. Vanessa their customer service representative was very nice to work with as well. After about two weeks the store gave me a call to notify that my furniture was available to come pick up whenever I had the opportunity. Pleasant surprise upon arrival, they had already took the time to assemble my furniture for free and they allowed my inspect it before I took it home. I could not be happier by the customer service that I received from the Hagerstown, MD store.

The salespeople aren’t very knowledgeable about what they sell and not exactly helpful either. I had to keep chasing after my sales associate to ask her the price on a few items because the prices aren’t posted on the tags. It wasn’t because she was busy or with another customer either.. she kept standing up front talking to the other sales associate that was working. I regret buying furniture from here because their stuff is overpriced and the quality is cheap...my durablend leather couch tore already and the warranty that I paid for was a total rip off because they don’t cover much. Just another money making scam.

Ashleys in Hagerstown is awesome! I went there just to price furniture for my family room, not to buy! Scott the salesman was very knowledgeable on my selection. He sold me hook line and sinker. He informed me of the sale that was going on at the moment. It was a deal that I couldn't refuse! I was in, I bought furniture that day. Scott handed me over to Vanessa to seal the deal. Vanessa handled the financial part of the sale, set up my delivery and I'm a happy customer. my new furniture comes in Tuesday yes sir!

First of all Black Friday in July is amazing !! Amazing prices your can’t beat. My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at the Ashley Furniture store in Hagerstown, MD. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a store associate named Darnell. He was very nice and helpful. He did not pressure us into anything and did not judge us as other furniture stores have considering we are younger buyers. Cannot mention one negative thing about our experience with everyone who helped us buy our first sectional couch. Casey, one of the service representatives, was also very helpful and kind. Overall, great experience! Will be buying again soon from this store.

While we could have ordered the set online, Aaron worked to get us the best deal. While they could not match the online price, we decided to place our order through the store. Vanessa kept us up to date on the delivery process. She called when she said she would and provided delivery status. The set was delivered ahead of schedule. The set was assembled and looks great in our breakfast nook. Well done!

He was patient, tentative as well as eager to assist in finding the right furnishings to compliment our style. He knows us so well, that just last week we were able to phone in our order!!! By the time we arrived in store, Tyler and Marina had our invoice completed, set up the shipping date and ready to go!!! Great group, awesome teamwork, relaxing (no pressure) atmosphere...we will be back again!!!
My first time shopping at Ashley Furniture Homestore was a good experience for me. Brandon, the salesperson, was very helpful both times I stopped in. . . and patient. He answered all my questions and I felt at ease with him. Amanda, at the checkout desk, was very efficient and pleasant. I ordered a recliner to surprise my husband for our anniversary and it was ready in just a few weeks. The two gentlemen that delivered the recliner worked quickly and efficiently to get the recliner set up. They cleaned up all the packing material and took it with them. Five minutes after they left, my husband pulled into the driveway. My plan came together perfectly and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received. My husband has been using the recliner and so far there have been no issues. I will follow-up with another review once the recliner has been properly "broken-in. " As far as price, I did spend more than I planned, but I got what I wanted. After shopping around at three other stores, I came back to Ashley Furniture because I liked the look and quality of their recliners. Also, Brandon had been so helpful the first time I stopped in that I was hoping he would be there when I went back. He was and I was happy to have someone help me that I had already connected with. :)
I hate shopping anywhere that there are salesmen. So I wasn't looking forward to furniture shopping. However to my surprise this was a pleasant expierence and I actually enjoyed it. I was at the Hagerstown store after shopping at 5 other stores for a mattress. Scott greeted me at the door and was very friendly and knowledgeable. At no time did he pressure me to buy and the service was exceptional. Scott also gave me plenty of time to explore and in the end I did decide to buy a mattress from them. I also had a pleasant experience with Amanda on the financing side. Amanda was very friendly and was able to answer any questions I forgot to ask Scott. The financing was a pleasant experience and very speedy. In the end I am very happy with the value, price and customer service and would recommend that you go and see Scott and Amanda. When i entered ashley furniture it was a very nice environment and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful sales associate named Jordan. Jordan showed me several bedroom groups that were with in my qualities i was looking for in a bedroom group. He explained the qualities and features of the group and narrowed down mine and my fiances minds to which we decided on a certain bedroom. Jordan helped me get everything set up for my purchase to which i was approved for. Jordan was very nice and helpful throughout my visit to ashley furniture to which my fiance and i are already planning our next purchase. Upon completion of our purchase we had to go over our purchase with a lady by the name of Amanda which just as Jordan was very pleasant and cheerful. Amanda explained the purchase and the delivery estimated time and went over what all was included in the bedroom purchased and the protection plan that i also got for my bedroom group. Jordan and Amanda have definitly made my mind up that i made the correct choice in choosing ashley furniture my store for and furnishings i may need in my home in the future. I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture! The store is very clean and has a large variety to choose from. I worked with Aaron who helped me take advantage of every deal possible. When I went in to finalize everything and schedule delivery Joslyn answered every question I had and made sure everything was good to go with my purchase! I will definitely check them out in the future for more furniture!

We went to Ashley in Hagerstown, MD on Mother's Day looking for a double recliner. There was a nice variety to choose from and our sales associate Ricky was very patient and showed us all of them! He helped us while we tried several of them out multiple times and gave us lots of good info about the pros and cons of each. Then he helped us find a storage coffee table and took us to look at the big kiosk of all the choices to make sure it was the one we liked the best. He was very personable and we really enjoyed talking with him while he helped us. While we were making final decisions he got our info started in the computer so we could check out when we were ready. Once we got to the checkout process Joslyn our customer service associate was very nice and did a great job of explaining when the furniture would be ordered, shipped, the payments and the warranty options and gave us copies of everything we needed and let us know she would be following up with us when the furniture was available for shipment. Our experience that day was great. The next day I logged on to the Ashley site to do a review and noticed our furniture was on sale. In the store for example our table was marked $800, the discount price they charged for their sale was $379, on the internet the next day it was $252. My husband went in to the store the next day and I don;t know the name of who he worked with but they fixed it and we received a $600 refund, so again still really happy with the Hagerstown store employees and service and selection are great. If I was writing a review for corporate Ashley my review would be very different. The price gouging and 'sales' are obnoxious. I want to pay what everyone else pays, the price for a table that is not on clearance shouldn't fluctuate between $800 and $252 in less than 24 hours. Clearly the goal is to rip people off. So to reiterate Ashley Hagerstown is a great store with great employees. Ashley corporate is unscrupulous. Make sure to read your contract, special orders have special rules and check the prices for the 14 days that you can price match and be prepared to go back for the refund when they change the price.
Our sales associate Scott was very knowledgeable and was not pushy. He left Gary and I to just sit and talk it over which is what you need sometimes. Also Amanda in Customer Service was great she explained everything that we needed to know and very friendly actually everyone that we talked to was very friendly.
Jorden my sales associate was friendly and fun to talk too. We walked around the store he was more then willing to show me everything within the price range I showed him. Amanda the customer service woman called me every week making sure i was updated until the time they were able to deliver it to my door. Even the delivery guys were great. We bought $2200 worth of furniture from this store back in late March. Part of that order was a dining room set that was $900. Called the store today to get the chairs switched, the woman on the phone said it's over 30 days, sorry can't help you. When I asked to speak with the store manager, she said he wasn't in. She said she couldn't help me. Really? Just because it's a week or 2 over 30 days? When I told her I'd be happy to come to the store and discuss this in front of other customers, she said she'd call the police. I called back and asked for the store manager; it sounded like the same woman who answered, and she said he'd be in tomorrow. Lousy service given to people who spent over 2k in their store in Hagerstown, MD. There's doesn't seem to be anyone you can contact above or outside of the local store. Bad customer service.

I have no clue how this store stays in business. When I walked in about a month ago, I was only customer in the store on a Friday afternoon, not to to mention several sales representatives were standing around trying hard to make a sale. Unfortunately my husband and I bought a mattress at this store, from Scott, and we were told we would have a mattress by Easter. Well we were told wrong, because it took 23 days to deliver the mattress, and we were without a mattress for our guests!! When we called their customer service several times weekly we were rudely told to wait, and if we chose to cancel our order it would be a 10% cancellation fee! Read the contract before you sign!! Lastly, we had issues with representatives telling us the mattress had been delivered when it was the box springs, not the mattress! So for me, I will never again shop at Ashley's
We went in thinking we were going to just look and see what they had. We were treated but not pestered by Jordan. He was very helpful with information about all the different styles of living room furniture. He also told us that the store manager just added an additional 10% off which made the total off 60%. We ended up buying a whole living room set even though we only went in just to look. Best part was the whole set cost about the same price as the original price of the sofa. All the employees were very helpful and friendly. That was my first time in Ashley furniture but it won't be my last. Beyond satisfied with my overall experience at Ashley Furniture.

Aaron and Amanda did a great job. My kids first time in a furniture store and Aaron was very patient with their excitement and answered my questions. Purchased a chair and half. My experience in store went well. I feel as if the price was higher than I wanted and I did my research for what I was looking for at other stores in the area. Turns out, Ashley had the best deal. They worked with me to get the delivery before we moved. . overall good experience. I have not had my purchase delivered yet. Will update if my overall view changes.

Sales Associate Aaron greeted my fiance and I when we arrived at the store. He welcomed us and asked us what he could help us with. We had several items in our minds that we were looking for. We spent about 3.5 hours in the store with Aaron and he was very patient with us and answered all of our questions without hesitation. We purchased a sectional sofa as well as a mattress and box springs. We highly recommend anyone going to the Ashley store of Hagerstown to ask for Aaron. You won't be disappointed! When it came time for our order paperwork, CSR Amanda processed all of our info quickly and got us on our way. The staff at this store are friendly and knowledgeable.

We just purchased our first bedroom set and were very pleased with the service we received at Ashley Homestore. Brandon was very patient with us to make sure we were getting the set we absolutely wanted and he even gave our 1 year old a balloon to keep him happy while we looked around. Sales associate, Scott, was great to work with. Very professional and attentive while not being pushy and obnoxious. Actually all of the store personnel were friendly and the showroom displays are beneficial in making decisions and seeing "the look" for your own home placement. Also a shout out to Customer Service Representative, Vanessa. She knows her job and does it well with a smile. I visited 3 local furniture stores and found Ashley Furniture to have the best selections and the more professional sales team. I bought living room and dinette furniture and expect to purchase more in the near future.

Perfection! Honestly I'm typically quick to point out the negatives in most places I visit or businesses I interact with b/c lets face it its so common to get a typical I hate my life salesman trying to act like he can sell fire to Lucifer. But not Ricky this dude was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and regardless of all the questions we asked it was easy to tell he enjoyed knowing the answer. I can honestly say buying our new king size Canopy bedroom set/mattress/ and new sectional sofa was a breeze and instead of being what wouldve been an otherwise painfull experience was an enjoyable one! I could tell whether we were there to spend 18,000 on that or just there for a coffee table we would have been treated the same by Ricky. Good man. You really got a top shelf employee Hagerstown I hope you take good care of him. Amanda explained everything clearly for us and management had no issues knocking the price down to work with us. I can say with no hesitation we will most definitely return in the future and instead of being our last stop it will be our 1st. Go ahead and shop around but DON'T BUY UNTIL YOU COME SEE THE BEST!

Bought a half chair and ottoman from Ashley Furniture and had it less than a year and its falling apart. I have been to the store 3 times already called the service and have heard nothing. Bought a extended warranty and still they haven't done nothing. All they want to do is keep getting paid and take more money. On top of that they want to charge me $150 dollars for someone to come to look at the issue. They said that cause I picked up my furniture. But I was never told by anyone about this. THERE THEIVES THAT DON'T CARE ABOUT WHO KEEPS THEM IN BUSINESS!!!!!WE DO. And I bought more furniture on top of this issue and have to wait and wait but I have to pay while I wait. This place is joke. I will be cancelling my order since I haven't heard NOTHING FROM NO ONE. WORST PLACE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM.

We went to Ashley Furniture in Hagerstown for a second visit. Fortunately for us, Aaron was working. He greeted us, but then let us wander freely. Every 10 minutes he checked with us and answered the questions that we had. When we finally made our selection, he reviewed everything with us and managed to find us additional (unadvertised) discounts and directed us to checkout with Amanda. The process was quick and easy! I visited this store on 2/28/2019 to purchase a recliner I was looking for one I had seen in the store on a previous visit, Jordan stepped forward to help me. They no longer had it on display & I really didn't remember what it looked like he went out of his way to try & find the one I wanted on their in store screen of products until we found it. Then when I went to purchase it Casey was the customer service rep who I wish every store had. I can't say enough about her. She was very pleasant answered all my question about the delivery & my acceptance of the product. I know about good customer service because I'm a retired sales rep. & you can't keep customers without them. In my opinion Casey is the best! I'm looking forward to my delivery which she helped me schedule! I'll be returning in the future because of my experience from the start to my purchase & I'll eagerly await my delivery!

Darnell was our salesperson and was very helpful, friendly and not pushy. We had purchased two recliners several years ago, and so liked them, so we decided to get a matching couch. We ended up choosing a sofa in a micro-suede that matched our recliners. We found the couch we wanted on line and the original pricing in the store was high. Darnell worked with us and gave a very good deal. I really didn't think they would have come down on the price as much as they did. We were very satisfied with our shopping experience.
When my wife and I went to the Hagerstown store, Brandon met us and answered our (many) questions and walked us through the areas we were interested in. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in directing us to an item (sofa bed) that totally met our requirements. Casey, our customer service rep, was equally as good. She verified that the item we purchased was indeed the correct on before being finalized by pulling up the picture and letting me see it first. Unlike a furniture store in Frederick that has since gone out of business, she calls me weekly to give me the status of my order and eased my concerns about a delivery date! Just a note: If you truly care about customer's comments, keep these two for a long time!
Our family walked into the Ashley HomeStore to shopping around for some furniture. As we walked in the doors, Mr. Tyler greet us and told us about amazing deals they had. After looking around the store, we found some furniture we were interesting in. My husband then looked for Mr. Tyler and he helped us with the color and style of furniture we wanted. Then he told us the deal and it was a great deal. Once we agreed on the deal, he introduced us to the lovely Joslyn. Whom reassure we the deal and processed it all. The only thing that stop my great experience was the water falling from the ceiling in the middle of the store. Did not see it until we were walking out of the store.

This time we wanted something better. We went to a competitor's store and wasn't satisfied with the selection or quality. So we came to Ashley We weren't hounded like in other stores Tyler introduced himself to us and checked on us and when we found what we wanted he went over all the features and even sat down with us and talked to us instead of being just a salesman I have been going through cancer treatments for over 2 years and I wanted something nice for a change but had a budget in mind. He worked with us on that. And Joslyn the customer service rep was great in finalizing the details for us. She said she would call us along the way since our furniture has to be ordered. So I can't rate on the actual experience with that yet or the quality in home usage. But so far very pleased
We went looking for a sofa because we hadn't had a "good" sofa before. Always had settled for something. I've been going through cancer treatments for over 2 years and wanted something nice. So we were shopping around and came into Ashley. Tyler introduced himself to us but didn't hound us. Asked us later if we needed help. We had found one we liked. He told us about it and showed us how it all functioned. Even sat down with us and talked to me about my cancer. He was so patient with us as we decided and also understood we had a budget. He was amazing. Joslyn in customer service was great too as she did our checkout process. She said she would be calling us as the furniture gets ordered letting us know when it will be in and setting up the delivery. So I can't yet rate that situation fully yet. Or the actual quality of the sofa and TV stand since we haven't gotten it yet. But so far we're very pleased. And excited to get a beautiful sofa with all the bells and whistles for the first time ever in the 21 yrs we've been together!

During my initial purchase, Darnell and Amanda did a nice job helping with my purchase of a new living room set. After explaining to Darnell that the internet price was less, he worked it out so I could save more over the posted store price. I thought that said a lot for the store, but I soon found out just how nice these folks are to work with! As it turns out, the sofa and love seat just wouldn't fit thru my doors at home due to their hardback construction! I had to send everything back with the delivery people and was dreading a possible 30% restock fee since I never gave this a thought when I bought it! As it turns out, everyone at the store were great about the whole thing! Once again Darnell worked with me and introduced me to Ron, one of the store managers, who went way above my expectations in helping me out with this unforeseen dilemma! Ron worked very closely with me while deciding my options and helping chose new furniture that we knew would fit thru my narrower doors at home. I also want to mention that Casey at the sales desk did a nice job as well with having to juggle things from one ticket to the next and help work out the details of a new purchase from the old. I needed a recliner immediately due to a family member recovering from surgery and Aaron quickly helped me find the right chair within my price range. Unfortunately, the chair wasn't going to be available for a few days. When I told him how urgent my need was to help my family member, he sold me the chair right off the floor at an excellent price, even though it meant that the store would need to be without that model of chair for awhile until they could replace it. Scott was a great salesperson. Very helpful, friendly and not pushy But three people failed to tell me about delivery day restrictions. After the third phone call and finally having the schedule open, I'm informed the furniture cannot be delivered on the day I requested when I purchased furniture JD, the store manager, was rude and only wanted to provide me with excuses. He was "dumbfounded" by the miscommunication because he KNEW they would have told me up front. Sure, he could give me $30 credit off shipping but he couldn't credit full shipping because my order wasn't expensive enough. Finally, I am supposed to get $50 credit off shipping but I still have to take another day off work because of their failure to tell me up front that the day I needed was never an option. This is my second bad experience, I thought with so many years between the first bad one and now, things would have improved.
Scott is an amazing sales associate! His care for his customers and their needs is above a 5 star rating. Customer service reps Amanda and Casey were also wonderful to work with. The 3 of them work awesome together. All were so kind and beyond helpful. Bought a bed, mattress and nightstand without hassle or hidden fees.
Darnell was great to work with. Very personable. He made sure I recieved all of the promos and discounts the store was running to ensure I got the best price possible. Amanda at the front desk did a great job making sure I understood my purchase and the warranty I bought. She also had me verify all my items showed correct in the system. Only thing I was disappointed in was how long the delivery would take. I was told it could take up to 8 weeks.

This is a REVIEW FOR THE SERVICE. My husband went looking the other day and Aaron gave him great service. Was honest about the pieces he was looking at, not pushy at all. Went back today and Aaron was with another customer so we had Jordan help us. He worked with us getting us the best deal possible. Turned us over to Joslyn who waited on us quickly and effiently. We have bought Ashley furniture before and were not disappointed. It has lasted us many, many years. We were in and out in 30 minutes or so. We ordered our pieces so will let our now how the rest of the story goes.

We didn’t leave until 9:45 (45 mins after they closed, due to filling out final paper work), and the employees were still just as pleasant as they were when we first arrived! My husband and I received excellent service from Darnell and Casey when we came in for our furniture. We wasn't sure on which set to purchase. We described our wants and Darnell took us straight to a set that we fell in love with! Definitely will be shopping there in the future for our furniture.
Purchased furniture in August 2018 and it was delivered late September 2018. The fabric looks totally worn out and falling off of the center console already. I have contacted the store and keep getting the run around. Today the service rep told me they do not come to my area. The store will not refund my money or even try to fix the issue. I am tired of the run around with this store. Every time I call there is never a manager to speak to. Update I emailed the email they replied to my post about. Now it’s a waiting game to see if and when they answer. Update emailed the email listed above two weeks ago still no response so I filed with the Better Business Bearu Update still no resolution. They were to come service the furniture on 2/13 and on 2/12 I was informed they do not service the area in which I live. Now playing phone tag with people who won’t help

I was so pleased with my past purchase at Ashley I returned and bought an entire King size bedroom set. I specifically asked for Brandon due to the excellent service he provided during my last purchase. He helped my through the entire purchase and got me the best price on the set. Very good experience with sales and delivery; however, one nightstand was defective and not on truck. Now can't get store to call with info on nightstand. My husband and I went shopping the other day to purchase two new recliners! We went to five major named furniture stores. Thank Goodness for the fifth one! I was about ready to give up, and we walked into Ashley’s. A gentleman named Brandon came right up to us. He was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the products. I had a pillow with me, trying to match fabrics, right away he said Mam there is a chair over here that might match! Was a perfect match! SOLD! Bought two of them. Then we went to Customer Service to pay and schedule for delivery, we’ll a Lady by the name of Casey took care of us. She was so pleasant, and helpful on explaining our options to us! Our experience was simply wonderful in that the sales associate, T.J. and our customer service rep, Kayla, were everything you'd want when taking on a large purchase from start to finish. It's not everyday that you encounter QUALITY over quantity. But, we got BOTH! Walking in the door, we were warmly welcomed, but not pressed or pushed. We were given a brief tour of the store layout. Inventory was plentifyl with many styles to compare and choose from. When ready with questions, TJ not only offered basic information in his answers to our inquiries but went on with further explanation. Additionally, without pressing, he offered options about our bedroom pieces so to give us resources in making informed choices. Kayla made the financial part of the purchase decision effortlesss. She provided finace options and fully explained (without jargon) the finance plans available. All of this may sound like basic functions but believe that this was the FIRST time making a big financial decision about something used daily (bedroom furniture) where I felt comfortable. In good hands... I did not feel sales pressure nor an unsettled lack of faith in the knowlwdge base of a sales associate. Upon placing my order and leaving, I was confident in my decision and purchase and for the first time was not taken financial advantage of by a company. She took us right to the couch that met all if my specifics. She was well versed in her prices, breakdowns, sales and ALL furniture details. At one point my husband mentioned he was thirsty. Ashley went to the backroom area and gave him a bottle of water. She made our furniture shopping experience enjoyable with her no pressure sales approach, genuine personality and integrity. I would recommend Ashley all day long. As we agreed to the purchase we were introduced to Joslyn. A kind women working out our financing. She was quick and precise. Overall my experience was most pleasant. The prices are fair and if you catch a sale, you simply can't beat it. Lots of the time furniture shopping is a big hassle...but not when you go to ashley furniture. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by T.J. He was one of the greatest sales people I have ever met. And he wasnt the fake nice like most sales people. He made it very easy and listened to what I wanted and didnt try to upsale me anything cause he respected my price range I gave him. I had a great shopping experience because of Darnell and Casey. They answered all the questions that my wife had and Darnell brought out 2 balloons for my daughter. I am satisfied with how fast my dresser got to me and how quick the movers were. I only give it 4 stars because we bought it early November and weren't told about the pre-Black Friday deal. We got a good deal on the dresser though.
The furniture is very good quality at a great price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I am very happy with my new faux leather recliner sofa/loveseat and bedroom furniture. My new foam mattress is heavenly. Darnell zoomed back and forth checking prices and availability and was very sweet. (Thanks Darnell!) I can't remember the receptionists name but she was very professional and courteous. They delivered it very quickly and the delivery people were extremely fast and nice. We came in we were looking for leather couches. Brandon was our saleman, he was very helpful in helping us find just the right couch, actually 2 couches. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and respectful. He gave us the space to look at the different ones when he noticed we had a question it didn’t take him long to answer it for us. We have bought furniture from Ashley before and we have always been very satisfied.
Great staff. Horrible products. Did not receive the couch we saw in the store. Having tons of issues and nothing is being done to help us. Really nasty cooperate headquarter staff. Spent a lot of money on a couch that’s falling apart after having it 6 months.

These guys were great. My Sale Associate TJ went above and beyond showing me options for my tiny space that would work well. When the options I choose turned out to be discontinued in the colors I wanted, he worked extra to make sure they could be located so I could get the colors I wanted. My Customer Service Rep Joslyn was fantastic! She was quick and on the ball with getting my credit approved and explained everything about the process. Both were super friendly and very knowledgable! I'm looking forward to getting my new furniture!
Brandon at the Hagerstown, MD store gave excellent customer service. We purchased a bedroom suite, couch and a mattress. He made the process so easy and was able to give an even better price than was found on the internet. Joslyn was out customer service representative she was very helpful and ensured that all the pieces were correct we were ordering. She calls every week with an update to when the furniture will be delivered. Joslyn was insightful she was able to help me with a warranty on another piece of furniture that I purchased 3 years ago. I walked in to buy however after NO ONE acknowledged that I was even in the store after walking the entire store I left. I refuse to give business to a company whose employees are standing there doing nothing but cant say hello to a customer. Terrible service. Im in sales and you always speak to potential clients. Why shop at a place that doesnt care.
The staff here is always courteous and extremely helpful. I love shopping here as they have so many wonderful items to choose from. The establishment is clean well organized and always fun to visit. I love the customer service that I always receive and I noticed other patrons receiving as well.

Great experience so far. Our Sales Associate was Aaron, he was very patient and knowledgeable. When to purchase a TV stand and while we were there we looked at sofas. We haven't been able to find one we felt was comfortable in the color or style we liked. Aaron helped us find one that was about as close as we were going to get. Ended up purchasing a sofa, recliner and TV stand. Vanessa was our Customer Service Rep. and was very pleasant and professional. Thank you both! Hope the delivery and setup goes as smooth.
