I'm going to keep this simple, Do Not Buy From Ashley Home Store!We ordered a sofa/sleeper and love seat just before Christmas. It was suppose to be delivered the first week of January. They kept telling us it was delayed durning shipping and postponed the delivery date week after week after week. I decided to go the store in person to see what the holdup was. They informed me that my order had just arrived so I scheduled delivery for the following Wednesday. I stayed home from work to ensure a successful delivery. When they finally arrived just after 4 p.m., the delivery man told me he only had the loveseat. I thought he was joking. He told me that the store should have called me and informed me that the sofa/sleeper was damaged during shipping. I contacted the store and they finally informed me that it was true and I would only be getting the love seat at that time. The delivery man insisted on dropping off the love seat. That's not going to happen! I told him that he could take it back to the store and I would go talk to them in person. They tried offering me an additional $200 off and 24 months interest free financing. That wasn't even close to getting me to continue purchasing furniture from them. I canceled my order all together (which they said they had to call the district manager or something like that because I had already signed a contract for the furniture). That's insane! Any-hoo, save yourself the headache and frustration of buying Ashley. I wish I would have read the reviews before we initially made the purchase.

What can I tell you that the other 200 people before me haven't? I was going to save this review until I got my dining set delivered, but since it's been since 8 Dec, and I'm still waiting, I decided to write this review to say: DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE!!!!!!!! If I could give -5 stars I would!!! I have been lied to since I made the unfortunate decision to walk in this store on 8 Dec. I told the salesperson (who I later would found out is a liar) that I had fam coming in town and needed the dining set delivered before Xmas. He assured me that would be no problem even though when I was signing the paperwork I saw 31 Dec on the computer screen. When I asked him about it, he said that date was incorrect. Well, that was a bold face lie and the lies just continued from there from everyone in this store from the managers on down. There is just too much to type about my experience so I will plead to you to NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE!!! I normally read the Yelp reviews before I visit an establishment but I didn't in this case and man did I pay the price for it!! All this store cares about is the sale and they could care less when you get your furniture!! I emailed corporate like 3 times and I will give them credit that they did contact the store because every time I emailed corporate, I would get a phone call from someone at the store who would just feed me more lies about when my furniture was getting delivered!! Did I mention that I've been waiiting for this dining set since 8 Dec??? I told them at this point I could have went in the woods, cut down a tree and made the dang furniture myself!!!! I even tried to cancel the order and they told me I couldn't!! Wth??? It is a shame that this store is still open if this is the way they treat their customers!! No one in this store has any integrity!!!! I will end this by staying as emphatically as I CAN: DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never seen a company not stand by the products they sell. On May 28, 2019, I purchased a couch and armless chair from Ashley Homestore in Woodbridge Va. It was delivered on 6/8/2019 and I could not have been happier with the products. 5 months later in early November the right front corner of the chair sank 4 inches while I sat down in it. Now I am only 5'10 and a 175lb man, not the biggest guy out there so 5 months of wear and tear from me would not have broken this chair, something was put together wrong. Ashley's is a franchise store so I had to call the Woodbridge location. I could never reach a customer care person so I would leave multiple messages explaining this problem along with my contact info. In Dec on my way back from florida, with nothing else to do on the car ride I called again and waited on hold for 55 min until a customer care person answered the phone. I explained the problem and told them I would come by with photos of the chair, at which time they filed a claim on my behalf. I did not get an extended warranty because I was told at the time of purchase I had a 6 month warranty from the store and a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. On Jan 8 2020, I was notified that there was nothing they could do. I am not looking for a refund, all I want is the chair repaired or replaced. The major problem I see is no recourse, I can never get a hold of any person in charge and there is no corporate too contact. I feel cheated and would never recommend this store, they are a bunch of used car salesmen.

This is the 2nd time I've had a bad experience with this company. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me know the rest.The most current issue is that I ordered a dresser and when it arrived the drawers wobbled horribly, one drawer sticks and doesn't fully come out, and there are scuffs all over the thing, like it was dragged across the ground. AF sent a technician who said he couldn't fix the dresser and that someone would contact me about my next steps. A week later, after not being contacted, I reached out and they were unwilling to issue me a refund and wanted to replace the dresser. I went back and forth with the Customer Service Manager Shawn who said he would forward my case to get an approval for a refund and I would hear something in 48 hrs. It took me 2 weeks of calling and leaving messages, and I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card before I finally got someone on the phone to tell me they still weren't giving me my money back. Then an employee named Vicki stated "well it's not under warranty so" ...SO? Warranty usually covers wear and tear after owning an item, not when it was sent to me worn and torn already! I hate this company and I'm kicking myself for giving them another chance.

Wow I cant believe I hadn't read these reviews before wasting my time here!I walked in today and was greeted warmly by an associate. We walked through the store and found two couches that seemed nice. I have to replace my current set because they've done their time 10ish years 4 moves! I had an amount I could spend and dimensions that needed to be met. Wasnt unreasonable. Online at about 4 different places the prices were lower, with free shipping! I asked for a final quote with delivery and warranty it came out to one price. When I asked how much the warranty was I was given a number and subtracting that number from the total was totally doable. I was ready to make the purchase! Then comes back the pricing was incorrect. Ok talk to the manager he did not want to budge on $50. For those $50 I went and bought literally the same set at VCF on a whim! I only walked into VCF because its next to target. ITS 99% THE EXACT SAME SET! Names are different but come on! I was well prepared to buy the Ashley set online for about $100 less. But they made it so easy to buy at VCF how could I not. What a shame. I feel sorry for the sales associate as she was 1 week into the job and was super sweet but ultimately her manager was not able to close the sale. I have more rooms to furnish now I will be a VCF customer. If the room store was still around I would have gone there, because there I felt valued.

RE:Claim ID: PM2052393 filed on July 15,2019. I reached out to the Care2 team on September 25th following 2 denial letters for the aforementioned claim and I asked the representative on the line at the time the reasoning behind the claim being denied and it was stated cracked or peeled leather; and soiled leather. In actuality I accidentally ripped it with my knee scooter, I broke my foot and required a knee scooter to get around the house. I highly displeased with this entire "claim" process. Not only did I have to wait a month before a technician was assigned to my case, but we waited an additional hour and half outside of the already, unreasonable, 4 hour scheduled window of time. To add insult to injury, when the technician arrived he made comments like "did this just happened, are you all moving?", with smugness and condescending tones. I'm highly confused at the purpose behind a 5 year extended warranty? I did not ask for a total replacement of the product, I wanted the portion that was damaged by my knee scooter fixed, but instead I got nothing. This extended warranty has been a complete waste of $500 additional on top of the $2000 recliner couches that we purchased at Ashley Furniture. This really makes me question the quality of not only Ashley furniture's products, but additional the Montagefs warranties. Ashley furniture salespersons during the sell and purchasing process continuously pushes this warranty without the disclaimer that regardless of what your claim is they will not properly investigate your claim in a timely manner and based on the additional services that you are paying for will at least give you an alternative to assist you. Moving forward I will more than likely not purchase any more furniture from Ashley furniture and not recommend anyone who is purchasing Ashley Furniture to not waste the money on Ashley furniture or warranties through Montagefs.

I am giving ONE star because I don't have the option to give 0.WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!DONT EVER BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE!!! I am not happy with how everything turned out. Today I was supposed to get my delivery for the second time with the new bedroom set that I chose since the first one was damaged and half of the bedroom set was not the pieces that I ordered, but again, it was missing pieces and the bed was damaged. Almost the same thing with the first one that you guys delivered wrong and damaged. They took it all back saying that on Saturday everything will be delivered complete and in perfect condition, with it wasn't the case. 3rd time they make a mistake and after spending hours and hours and talking with different people NOTHING got resolved. I am tired of losing time with all of this, I was very late to work today because I was waiting for the delivery, plus the day I had to get off work to weight for the delivery. I paid a lot of money for all the furniture I bought for my whole apartment, I am not asking for a favor. CUSTOMER CARE are the worse of them all, even told me that it was my fault that the two night stand didn't get delivered together because I should have call them to informe that it was in separate invoices. REALLY??? The store doesn't do a proper job and they blame me??? Shame on you!!! Shame on you all.

If I could give them a zero star I would! My mom recently purchased furniture from here and had a terrible experience. We had issues with pricing and they were supposed to get corporate involved and call us back. After not hearing back we decided to head to the store to see what was going on. The staff in the back has NO customer service skills whatsoever! No one greeted us, they all avoided eye contact until one of them gave in and finally spoke to us. The salesman ignored the lady at the front like he didn't hear his name being called. When he finally walked over he wanted to argue about everything. This store does not believe in customer satisfaction. No one called corporate and no one cared about how we felt. The store manager was there and they did not want me to talk to him even tho he was sitting right there behind them. We had no choice but to keep the furniture but we will never buy anything from this store ever again!! They are all so sweet and helpful to you to rope you into buying but as soon as you have an issue they are quick to dismiss your concerns. Very sad really!
