The last time I shopped at Ashely furniture has been years ago. They left a bad taste with me because of customer service. I decided to try them again and was pleasantly surprised with the young man that helped me. Kendrick was a pleasure to work with, he knew exactly what I was looking for and helped me with a great purchase. I haven’t gotten my furniture yet so I will update this review with delivery and product details. Hopefully the reviews will also be encouraging.

We told Geoff that we were looking for furniture that would be good for our pet and he recommended the high performance furniture. Dropped in with my Mom yesterday to get her a couch. Shankar was there to help right away. He was present but not pushy, and I appreciated that. When we had specific questions, he was very helpful, and the purchasing process was really easy.

When I got there Paul Asked me what I was looking I told him he showed me all the options for what I was looking for. Quick and easy He wasnt pushy at all or rushed me he was very knowledgable about the products. Came back later that day with my wife Paul meet use back at the sofa I was eyeing earlier. In my experience, Ashley Furniture has been incredibly disappointing. Both the salesperson and the manager assured us that we would either receive a quick delivery or, if the estimate didn’t work for us, we could easily cancel the order over the phone. When the delivery date turned out to be much later than promised, we tried to cancel—only to be told that phone cancellations weren’t allowed. We had already moved out of the area, so going back to the store wasn’t possible. It feels like we were given inaccurate information just to secure the sale. This has caused a lot of unnecessary stress, and I would not recommend this store.

I ordered my living and dining room furniture on June 3rd and was told it would be delivered within 3-4 weeks. After the 4 weeks with no word, I called and was told it would be in by the end of this month. I called today and was told the new ETA is the middle of next month but there’s no guarantee (10 weeks later). And that’s just the date it “might” arrive in the warehouse. Who knows how long thereafter it will take to schedule a delivery at this rate? I would suggest going somewhere else if you need your furniture anytime soon and keep in mind that the arrival estimates are highly inaccurate.

When we purchased a floor model of a 3 piece living room set, there were no markings on it. When it was delivered, it was not wrapped or protected in any fashion. When it was delivered, it was horribly marked on almost all corners. After contacting Ashley Furniture, their corporate headquarters (Yanci) asked if I had taken pictures at the store, as it is their policy to not cover markings on the sale of floor models. Why should I have to do that... and why wouldn't Ashley Furniture not protect the furniture while being delivered... they treated it like throw-away furniture all the way to my brand new home. I don't recommend Ashley, or Regency's Budget Brand and lack of caring for furniture that I paid well over $1000 for. The pictures below clearly show the condition in the showroom... and when delivered. Hopefully Stanley Steemer can get them clean. Be careful when you deal with these budget brands as they will do anything in their power to treat your furniture poorly and not care for the customer.

We splurged out for pure comfort. We bought a gliding recliner that zones you into another level of relaxation. It is wide, velvety black corduroy, and the chair is like a large black bear waiting to hug you. This is EVERYONE'S favorite chair!

The staff here were very helpful and there was a very large selection of goods. Just be sure to check the online price before you buy because they can do price match to their website. Shout-out to Andreas and Leslie.

Not a happy camper after placing an order in store on 2/14/2025 for a reclining couch and was told by the sales guy that it would be delivered in about 3 weeks/early March, but now that it’s been over a month (3/17/2025) and I hadn’t heard anything, I looked up my order status online and it shows it’s not scheduled for delivery to the warehouse until March 30!!! So by the time I actually have it delivered it will have been 6+ weeks since I placed the order!! That’s double the amount of time I was told it would take to arrive!! I even have the sales guy’s text that he sent me stating that it was scheduled for arrival in early March - a blatant lie! Had I known it would’ve taken this long I wouldn’t have ordered that specific couch and would have picked another one that would’ve come in sooner! So very disappointed that I was lied to and now I’m without a couch for another 2 weeks. We just finished an entire home remodel and I was planning to purchase a new dining room set and a new bedroom set from Ashley as well, but I will definitely be purchasing elsewhere since the salespeople here have zero integrity and I recommend you do the same.

I had a very frustrating experience at Ashley Furniture today. I was interested in a floor model that was clearly marked with a specific price. After providing my personal information and spending an hour in the store, I was informed that the displayed price would not be honored. This was extremely disappointing, especially as I had sent my family home due to the extended wait. I was prepared to furnish my entire new home with Ashley Furniture, but this experience has caused me to reconsider.

Our first experience with Ashley was great! She was very friendly and professional.

This is my second time at this store. The first time we bought a dining set in store and later found it cheaper ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE. They refunded the difference but had to go back to the store for them to scan my card, which was a hassle. The second time we ordered items in early February, and it looks like they won't be delivered until late April...they shouldn't be selling items that they can't deliver until MONTHS later. Do not shop here.

While I did have a great experience in store, the delivery of the furniture was less than ideal. Not only did I have to wait close to two months for the couch and TV stand but the delivery people said they wouldn’t deliver to my 4th floor apartment without a tip. I had provided Ashley furniture with the information that I lived on the 4th floor when I originally purchased the furniture and again when they set a delivery date. I did what I could to make sure that no one was surprised and it was noted on the invoice. Come time for delivery, they would only deliver the furniture with an extra tip. While I understand that they cannot deliver to floors above the 3rd floor, I would have purchased from somewhere else if I was told that it wouldn’t be possible.

The worst and low customer service I had experienced from this store. Don’t believe what they say to you while you enter in this store. They lie to you about their service TRUST ME . I ordered the furniture and they delivered to my home after four (4) mounts. They sold the used chair set as brand new and you really see it in the photo that I took in the day of delivery.

My husband and I recently visited Ashley Furniture. We had quite a bit to shop for as we were furnishing our new home from the ground up. Geoff immediately welcomed us as soon as we walked in. Geoff gave us enough space to search for things we liked on our own and intervened at appropriate times. Geoff was very personable. He took his time to understand our likes and needs in furniture. Geoff was patient with us. Geoff took notes of the things we liked and helped us design the looks we were going for if they weren’t already a floor set in the store. Needless to say, we walked away almost furnishing our entire home in one visit thanks to Geoff. If you’re in the market for new furniture and need a helpful salesman, Geoff is your guy!

Jamaal helped me out. I asked about how long it will take for the furniture we ordered to be delivered and he said “they will call you” so not really a definite answer on things also he highly suggested we purchase the protection plan that you won’t be able to use apparently from previous reviews. The store is empty for a reason, right now I’m going to see if I can get my money back since receiving my receipt and going over everything it says up to 6-12 weeks for delivery!!! I’m not waiting that long for a couch when I can get it same day/ next day somewhere else. I will be disputing with my bank and don’t go to this place or the Ashley’s that’s right next to it cause it’s one big scam business.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Ashley Furniture due to interactions with the store manager. During my visit, I observed he frequently interrupting the salesperson, who was assisting me, which I found to be unprofessional. My primary concern arose when discussing pricing. Manager promised to work out a favorable deal for me but ended up presenting a price that was higher than what I found on Ashley's official website. When I questioned the discrepancy, he dismissed my concerns, suggesting that the online prices were not accurate, without providing a satisfactory explanation. This experience left me feeling misled and questioning the integrity of the pricing system at this location. Furthermore, I felt that Manager’s overall behavior was unprofessional and exhibited traits of dishonesty and intimidation. This experience was starkly different from the customer service I received at another Ashley Furniture store in Glen Burnie, where the staff were notably more pleasant and straightforward.

Delivery workers impolite, mean to my wife, failed to take furniture upstairs. The store wants to disclaim any responsibility and take 30% restocking fee.

This store is the definition of terrible customer service. Made an appointment for delivery, had to call back 15 mins after to change to the day before originally planned. The day of my delivery i get a notification from the delivery service i have a delivery scheduled for the next day after already taking time off work for the delivery i knew of. Called the store and was told an accident was made and an item was left off so another delivery date had to be set resulting in another day out of work. Will not refund delivery fee for gross negligence in following through with an agreed upon delivery date and the store manager will not return a call or speak to me himself, but can hear him in the back ground talking to an associate. What an absolute money grab with no intention of creating repeat customers.

This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I've ever encountered. While they were very pleasant during the sales process, their performance took a nosedive when it came to deliveries. I made a substantial order worth over $5,000, and it's been repeatedly delayed for several months. Each time I inquire about the status, they blame a missing piece from a manufacturer, which is understandable for a few weeks but not for this extended period. What's even more frustrating is when I requested that they send the portions of my order that were already available, they insisted on charging me for a split delivery. Why should I bear the cost when they're the ones who have been months behind schedule? Their response is always to direct me to contact "Corporate," but the provided phone number is perpetually busy. I've even contemplated canceling my order, but they impose a hefty 30% restocking fee. Frankly, I've had enough of this ordeal.

We had the opportunity to work with Kevin and he was wonderful! I didn’t feel pressure to buy anything like normal furniture salespeople make me feel. He also worked really hard to get us a great deal. Truly appreciate his knowledge and help and was glad to walk out with an entire bedroom set and new mattress! Thanks, Kevin!

I bought a couch from this company two months ago and I noticed the side was leaning way out. I called to have a fix they came out in a timely matter said it was a Beach broke put some screws in it and it is still not fixed properly. Either side is doing an out and I’m having a very hard time because somebody to come out to fix it correctly. Made several calls and I’ve heard nothing. Their customer service is very bad and would not recommend anybody to buy anything from them.

The store is big, clean and so many options and the service from Aziz Jackson was impeccable, he’s knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy!! It’s a hybrid furniture store so you get the best of both worlds and endless options!! Great prices, quality and sales!!

I went into the store to buy a a bedroom set. Store was very neat clean. Tiffany was my sales person and she helped me right away gave me good advice I picked my set and went to pay for it. Whitney the person who check me out was very nice and quick I was in and out within 30 minutes. The only con I would say is that they have a really long delivery time of 4-8 weeks so I still haven’t received my furniture. But overall the store was great

Tech came out to fix something small. Broke my couch in the process. Didn't tell anyone. Ashley won't fix it while it's under warranty saying it's my fault. Update: Tech lied on the report and said it was already broken so now Ashley won't do anything about it.

Never buy anything from them. They don’t stand behind there products. I recently purchased a mattress from them it definitely defective . I went to the store to tell them and asked for an exchange they refused. They did say they would send a technician out to see. This took 10 days . The service company that they go through called me to reschedule for a sooner date I was excited to hopefully get this issue fixed . Well the day before the appointment I had not heard from them I called in and they told me oh we have to reschedule. I then talked to a supervisor and they assured me a technician would be there on the date we discussed. We no surprise they didn’t show up stating the technician had car problems. Sounds fishy to me. Went back to the store and talked to the manager about this. Nothing he can do but make me wait longer. So basically I’m stuck with a bill for 2k and a mattress I can not use.

I generally am cautious about giving reviews but want to give credit where credit is due. Recently we have been furnishing my son's first real place. We saw some furniture in Ashley/Regent that he liked but was concerned because of the reviews online about problems/missed promises with delivery. We explained that to our salesperson, Sean, and he suggested that we pick it up at the store 4 days later (eliminating concerns over delivery). We decided to give it a chance and all was there as promised. The furniture was in good condition and we are happy with it.

I just visited this location while on a mission to furnish my new home. When I walked in I was greeted by a lovely young lady named Megan. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the furniture. At first I thought she was a salesperson but she informed me she wasn't and hooked me up with Karl. Karl was excellent and really took his time working with me, showing me multiple sets, and encouraging me to try them out. While I am not yet ready to make a final decision Ashley's is at the top of my list when I do.

Tammy is amazing. She was attentive and let me know she was there to help, but never followed me around or pressured me. She was patient and took her time to answer all questions I had, and advocated for me to get the best price. Highly recommend Tammy!

I gave a one star because this is the lowest option. I WILL NEVER do business with this company again. Purchase couch, loveseat, chair and dresser from this company. Delivery was awful, guys rushing to go didn’t put the legs on dresser nor night stand told my daughter that the love seat was too big for my space. The took it back. I went to the store and complained told them to bring back the love seat. Was told they have to contact corporate and they would get back to me. I call them several times before thy told me to pay another delivery fee of $150 then they will make a delivery. I would not recommend this company

Our salesperson, Tammy, was so sweet. We felt that she really cared about our needs and was more concerned about our satisfaction than a sale.

I ordered a lift recliner through Ashley’s. It was delivered through Regency‘s. I had it two months and it broke. It took them up to four months to repair it and I had it a week and a half, and it broke again the same thing and they said that they are no longer doing anything with my chair so I am not happy. I am out all that money and I don’t have a chair.

Here is the rundown of the horrendous experience I and my family experienced with Ashley Furniture store(s) in Pasadena, Maryland, Hunt Valley, Maryland, and with Ashley Corporate. We attended the grand opening of the Pasadena store 10/29/2022. We purchased a new center and side table set, plus the extended warrant for $1,600. The assembly guys broke the table during assembly and the store nor corporate will replace it. The warranty company which supposedly “covers anything, even hitting it with a hammer”, per the sales associate named Liz O'Brien, will not cover it. Initially we met Liz O'Brien, the general manager of the Hunt Valley store while she was assisting as a sales associate during the grand opening of the Pasadena location. Here she made us feel welcomed and we then drove to her Hunt Valley store (80 minutes and 65 miles away from us) just one month later and purchased a $5,000 bedroom set. At this time the center table had not yet arrived and when it did arrive it was broken. I contacted Liz and was told I had to come to Hunt Valley from Pasadena, MD. I did so and when I arrived Liz's initial sweet, charismatic, and friendly attitude which sold us over and gained Ashley a grand total of more than $7,000 become cold, bitter, antagonistic, and rude. She became irate when I told her I wanted a new center table or a refund and said I was “being petty about a some damage that could be fixed”. I told her with this type of customer service I wanted to cancel my $5,000 order from her store without the 30% restocking fee because I'd already waited 6 weeks for the delivery of the bedroom set. Their contact guarantees a delivery within 14 days. Ashley breached their contact more than once during this experience. Every time we inquired about cancellation and or the status of the bedroom set it wasn't even in their warehouse, so how can they threaten a 30% restocking fee for something that hasn't even been stocked to them? The answer is they legally cannot, yet Liz was holding my money hostage. After waiting 16 weeks for the bedroom set to be delivered, they brought in a damaged bed frame, headboard, and drawers. It looked liked it has been run over by a tank and left in the rain. There were countless scratches, warped wood, chips, and a handle installed on the interior of the drawer. The two dressers, side tables, and accessories were all fine; the bed was the only damaged piece. The delivery guys said if I refused the bed itself they had to take everything back, including the new mattress. They then attempted to convince me that the warranty company would cover their shotty assembling and factory damage, which it will not. The delivery guy then tried to trick me into signing for the furniture and not refusing it by saying if I sign an accept it that they'll send a technician to fix it. I told them I'd only do this if someone representing Ashley would sign a contract that acknowledged the damage; which of course they refused to do. They took all the pieces back. Meanwhile, the guy then began cursing in Spanish, stomping all over my house without regard to my property. At this point we had donated the old bedroom set to charity the day before and were left without a mattress or anything else. Magically, the next re-delivery of all new items came on the last day of the new 14 day window. The new set was in excellent condition and we accepted it. Meanwhile, throughout every issue I had with Liz O'Brien, the Pasadena store, and the Hunt Valley store I attempted to involve Ashley Furniture corporate who was unwilling to get involved. Each time I got a canned response about how all Ashley stores are Independently owned and operated, and how Corporate provided the Ashley trademark name, but does not support their stores. This leaves customers at the mercy of con-artists like Liz O'Brien and whomever own the Hunt Valley store.

This place is an absolute scam!!! Do not buy here!!! We paid a ton for our couch and it is a p.o.s. After two months there's a huge sinking in the chase lounge, where we never sit. And it is pilling so bad. I've tried to have it repaired or replaced but they keep giving me the run around. I'm reporting them to the BBB. Please avoid this place. Your money is spent better elsewhere.

Michael was incredibly helpful in helping us find a couch for a reasonable price. He took his time in helping us explore the store and the options within it. Great experience from walking in the door to finalizing the sale of our new couch.

Jay was a great salesman. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We will be back.

You are only getting a one star because I can't give a negative star. You deliver the wrong furniture to my elderly parents, tell them that they have to pay more for the correct furniture, tell them that you are going to take the furniture that you delivered and now they have to wait 8 to 12 weeks WITH NO FURNITURE until you get them what they actually bought. What is wrong with your company?! Is this the way your company treats an elderly couple and yet A VETERAN?! I was with them when they purchased this furniture so I know all the details. BATE AND SWITCH? This is obsurd!! Shame on you!!

If you come to this store ask for Dwayne. He was the most professional salesman I’ve ever interacted with. He was patient and knowledge and knows what it means to be customer centric. It was all about pleasing the customer. PS I am a New Yorker and I gave him a hard time and her he never faltered.

If you come to this store you must ask for Dwayne. He was knowledgeable, patient, creative and extremely professional. He did not hesitate to accommodate all our requests which weren’t always trivial as we asked him to move furniture around the store. Hats off to a job well done.

Nikko was one of the most attentive, patient sales associates I have ever met. Rearranged furniture to fit my space for a full visual, gave very respectful oppnions and so easy to have conversations with. I only by furniture at Ashley's and now it has to be with Nikko

Awful experience!! Went in to purchase new furniture for our new home. Once we found the sectional we like the sales associate informed us that he would look to see if it was available in the smoke gray color we wanted. Geoffrey stated there was only 1 in stock and rushed us to purchase, although we were still shopping for other furniture. When the sofa was delivered it was the wrong color so i sent it back to the warehouse. Immediately after the delivery guy left, i reached out to Ashley furniture to let them know that is was not the color i wanted. The sales guy geoffrey stated i could come in today or tomorrow to see if there was something else we wanted. We looked around but didn’t see anything we wanted so we asked for a refund. The front desk associate stated there would be a 30% cancellation/ restocking fee which we felt was unacceptable because we knew what we ordered was not what we received. As we were waiting for the manager to arrive, Geoffrey walked over and asked what our decision was then proceeded to say we “misremembered” what we ordered, which was very disrespectful. Once the manager Emoni came out he stated that it was a “he say she say situation” and we would still have to pay the fee without hearing our side of the story. After explaining our story he went to talk to the general manager. Once he returned, he spoke with the front desk associate about processing a refund. He never acknowledged or spoke to us directly to let us know what was going on. While processing the refund the front desk associate needed assistance from the manager and he was not knowledgeable at all. We stood there for about an hour and 30 mins in order to get this resolved.Worst experience ever I will never order from Ashley again!!!

Was having a pretty bad day and was struggling to furniture. But this young lady Nekia helped me and she was very friendly.

i was out shopping at DSW and i came across ashley furniture . i came in with no intentions on buying anything . the moment i walked in i was greeted by saleema . She made me feel very comfortable . she had great patience even though i couldn't make up mind lol. i will definitely be back

Excellent customer service at this location. I went to this location after researching a sectional online and they had it in stock. Anthony Nikko Willingham assisted me and he was great, professional and friendly. I visited other locations but I would definitely recommend this location.

Absolutely hands down, the best experience ever. Geoff was phenomenal. He allowed for us to enter the store and browse around before he came over and asked if my mom, along with myself, needed any help. He didn’t bum rush us at the door or smother us with questions, options. We told him what we wanted and he was prompt, patient and delivered exceptional service from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a better sales agent. The delivery time frame is rather quick also. We stopped in on a Saturday and we are scheduled to receive our merchandise this Thursday (not even a full week), how cool is that? Keep up the great work Geoff! Thank for your time and energy. We will be back.

Very happy with the selection here and the staff is friendly and willing to help. Deonte greeted me immediately upon walking in and was available to answer any questions throughout my visit. Although I didn’t buy any large furniture pieces, the checkout process was a bit long (it is a furniture store after all), but Megan made the process as quick and painless as possible. I’ll definitely be back.

They will tell you you eill have your stuff in 3 months then deliver in 6 months. No discounts, no apologies, no concerns.
