My husband and I recently visited Ashley Furniture. We had quite a bit to shop for as we were furnishing our new home from the ground up. Geoff immediately welcomed us as soon as we walked in. Geoff gave us enough space to search for things we liked on our own and intervened at appropriate times. Geoff was very personable. He took his time to understand our likes and needs in furniture. Geoff was patient with us. Geoff took notes of the things we liked and helped us design the looks we were going for if they weren’t already a floor set in the store. Needless to say, we walked away almost furnishing our entire home in one visit thanks to Geoff. If you’re in the market for new furniture and need a helpful salesman, Geoff is your guy!
Jamaal helped me out. I asked about how long it will take for the furniture we ordered to be delivered and he said “they will call you” so not really a definite answer on things also he highly suggested we purchase the protection plan that you won’t be able to use apparently from previous reviews. The store is empty for a reason, right now I’m going to see if I can get my money back since receiving my receipt and going over everything it says up to 6-12 weeks for delivery!!! I’m not waiting that long for a couch when I can get it same day/ next day somewhere else. I will be disputing with my bank and don’t go to this place or the Ashley’s that’s right next to it cause it’s one big scam business.
Absolutely the worst customer service ever.... furniture is not good quality but the staff is a lot worse! Employees straight out of Baltimore!
I recently had a disappointing experience at Ashley Furniture due to interactions with the store manager. During my visit, I observed he frequently interrupting the salesperson, who was assisting me, which I found to be unprofessional. My primary concern arose when discussing pricing. Manager promised to work out a favorable deal for me but ended up presenting a price that was higher than what I found on Ashley's official website. When I questioned the discrepancy, he dismissed my concerns, suggesting that the online prices were not accurate, without providing a satisfactory explanation. This experience left me feeling misled and questioning the integrity of the pricing system at this location. Furthermore, I felt that Manager’s overall behavior was unprofessional and exhibited traits of dishonesty and intimidation. This experience was starkly different from the customer service I received at another Ashley Furniture store in Glen Burnie, where the staff were notably more pleasant and straightforward.
Delivery workers impolite, mean to my wife, failed to take furniture upstairs. The store wants to disclaim any responsibility and take 30% restocking fee.

This store is the definition of terrible customer service. Made an appointment for delivery, had to call back 15 mins after to change to the day before originally planned. The day of my delivery i get a notification from the delivery service i have a delivery scheduled for the next day after already taking time off work for the delivery i knew of. Called the store and was told an accident was made and an item was left off so another delivery date had to be set resulting in another day out of work. Will not refund delivery fee for gross negligence in following through with an agreed upon delivery date and the store manager will not return a call or speak to me himself, but can hear him in the back ground talking to an associate. What an absolute money grab with no intention of creating repeat customers.
