Walked in just to look at a color swatch and Venezia helped me pick out the perfect couches! Padilla made financing super easy and they both explained the delivery process perfectly!

I'm very disappointed in the sales tatic and CustomerService I received.. I purchased a sectional Monday because Nancy, the sales rep, ensured it was available to be purchased off the floor, and the truck would be in the next day at 10 am with 200 more at the warehouse. I was given the option to pick up from the warehouse that the next day or pay a delivery fee and have it delivered on Thursday... I choose to have it delivered Thursday...I purchased the sectional using a payment link as it was a gift from my father and he lives in Georgia...I called to confirm a time for Thursday's delivery and Nancy told me it was the General Manager call what day I would receive my delivery..This is Definitely NOT what we discussed...The General Manager Michael Johnson informed me that he couldn't deliver the furniture on Thursday but I could pick it up and he could refund me the Delivery fee....or I could have it delivered Friday and he still would refund me the delivery fee...I did say I needed the furniture Thursday...So I informed him I would come and pick it up...He placed me on hold then said I couldn't pick it up because of the way it was purchased...I asked if it was policy he said yes..So why offer me the option to pick it up in the first place if that was policy...Micheal Johnson the General manager told me he didn't cause this problem but he would address it...at that moment I knew that he was the wrong person for that job...he was the face and voice of the company at that moment and he shifted the blame somewhere else....I'm very disappointed in the customer service treatment and the sales game(lies) that was played... I expected so much more...shame on me.. Needless to say the furniture is supposed to be delivered this Friday and The General Manager will call me Saturday to ensure the delivery... I am truly a dissatisfied customer.
Believe me when I say, Nicole & Renée at Ashley Furniture in Waldorf DID THEIR THING for me!!!! They were SUPER helpful and I got my chaise chairs at an AMAZING price!! Don’t walk, RUN, to Ashley and see Nicole!!
We went last night to look for new living room furniture and V helped us. She was super nice, super helpful, and super fun to talk too. She checked on us often and showed us a lot of options and was very patient with us while we made our choices. We’ll be coming back when we need more things to spruce up the house and keeping an eye out for her. 10/10!
Our experience at Regency was wonderful but when we had our dining room table set delivered the company only delivered the table with no chairs. The inventory was improperly logged so they took the table back and told us it could take 2-3 months to get the entire set delivered. So much for having a nice dining room table for Thanksgiving.

I have no complaints! I got an Ashley brand king memory foam mattress and box spring. The mattress is comfortable. The delivery was on time and assembly was simple. My customer service representative was kind and patient. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but, she was an older white lady with beautiful jewelry. (Waldorf location)

Never again will I purchase furniture from this store. My $625 white microfiber chair was bought to me so scuffed and marked up, we ended up not using it. They didn’t even bother to wrap or safe keep our chair at all. Their reason being bc we purchased it off the show room. I called twice to complain to no avail. Went into the store for them to only offer up home depot cleaning supplies as a solution. I would have been satisfied with them offering cleaning service to restore the chair, that would’ve been the right thing to do. Such a waste of time and money.

Majority of their furnitures are not in stock but they will tell you that it is and keep postponing the date . Paid up front on a bed set but it never arrived. Called and went in store multiple times with no resolution and they finally pushed the date to end of September for an order placed in May . Poor customer service from the managers on site. Luckily I found the same furniture cheaper online and cancelled the order. Never again from Ashley

Zero customer service notifying of any changes to product movement; does not take fault in providing false date info. Don’t get scammed by the furniture protection plan!!!!! I beg you! They will charge you $500 then look for any reason to deny your claim. Spend your money on a professional clean afterwards instead. I think I may just shop elsewhere in the future.

As a buyer who also failed to read the negative reviews on this store, I will add another. The managers will lie to your face about policies, get you to purchase and then to find out that everything they say is a lie. They will screw up your order and give you just about the worst experience with furniture purchases. Please go anywhere else. I am in the world of design professionally and still end here on this trap of lies, deception and maybe the worst business practices I have ever seen. working on my official business complaint as I write this. If you're reading this when it's too late. Submit a complaint - I implore you CFPB - BBB etc.,! are there for you. Use them
I have had better experiences at used car dealerships. Every time you talk to them you get a different story and a new lie. Prices are cheeper at other Ashley furnitures. Go anywhere else for a better experience. I will never shop here or at any Ashley furniture again.

I’ll never set foot or refer anyone to Ashley Furniture in Waldorf, MD. Sent me the wrong item and they want me to pay a $89.99 retrieval fee and then purchase (again) the correct item. WTH! What a rip off! They can care less about customer satisfaction. Gave be the run around for 4 days!
Ashley's Waldorf has the local competition beat. Product line is superior to what we found elsewhere. But the real pleasure for us was customer service. Our salesperson Alexandra was superb. She patiently and expertly guided us through the product line until we found just the right furniture for our new home. She even brought in Ashley's expert visualist Deja to help us with coordinating each room through the house. We could not be more satisfied!
We came in looking for the best and Alexandra did just that. From the time we walked in , till the time we left, top tier service.

Nicole and Jerrell were pleasant and accommodating. However, there was a man with glasses who was rude upon payment. I believed that the sofa I bought would be 30% off (additional reduction because I didn’t know the sofa was already marked down) as explained to me, not that only the delivery fee would be 30% off. After I inquired about this, the man with glasses stated “well, you can pay full-price if you want,” as if I’m penny-pinching. Obviously I did not know that 30% off only applied to the delivery fee. Why would I choose to pay full-price? The joke was not delivered playfully either. I am the *paying* customer. The message should’ve been conveyed properly and there would not have been any confusion.

i went into Ashley Firniture to purchase items for my new home. The sales associate Nicole J. was very helpful with helping me pick out pieces for my living room, but that's where the customer service ended. A week after purchase, their entire system went down and I lost all phone acccess to the store. for several weeks no status on furniture delivery. eventually corporate comms came up but not poor old Ashley Furniture in Waldorf. I had to consistently call HQ or go into the store to get updates, no one called. i received numerous dates iwhen the items would be in which kept getting moved with no communication to me. I finally went in after a month passed to obtain a refund and was charged a 10% restocking fee even though they were the ones in error. the manger Jerrell walks away during the conversation. The office manager Angelica continued to process my refund and apologized. After 15 minutes the store manager Jerrell returns and asks the store manager if she charged us the 10% fee. Seriously! piss pooor customer service all around and I will never shop Ashley again. Beware and take your business elsewhere if you appreciate or expect good customer service. sincerely, upset customer Lori S.

I worked with a few different people at this location. I was on a hunt for two very specific nightstands. I was told by a customer service rep (not at this location, on the phone) that there were only 11 left in the company and two were at this store. I traveled from NC to MD to pick these nightstands up. We ran into an issue where their system wasn’t going to allow them to sell me the nightstands because they were listed as a set with the bed and dressers (which i already own). These employees called customer care and managers and whoever else and made it happen for me. I went back to NC with my two nightstands and I’m a happy customer.

This bed is TALL and exactly what I was looking for. It’s sturdy, heavy and was easy to put together. The price was amazing and even got an extra 25% off, the color is beautiful and not like all the rest. I’m happy I continued to look around and not settle on the first one I saw at other stores.

Awful and not helpful! Don’t get a warranty. It is a rip off! Warranty customer service is terrible. It took them 4 months to tell me they wouldn’t replace my parts. Literally their furniture is junk. Shop at a different furniture store!

The Ashley furniture warranty is a scam. We bought a sectional sofa months ago and noticed frame damage shortly after delivery. This type of damage is supposedly covered under the warranty. We've been stood up for four repair appointments. Either the technicians never show, or the technican is mysteriously injured the night before or the day of the appointment. Of course, another appointment isn't available until months later. Ashley hasn't taken any responsibility and avoids even communicating about the issue. Please take your money to another furniture store as Ashley will not honor its own policies.

Waldorf Md AF Wrong adjustable bed was delivered and I refused at delivery. 3 weeks later, AF advised they could reorder the correct bed frame for an additional cost. I was told by sales rep 30 day return policy on mattress. Called 96 hours asking to return mattress which was still in plastic not used and told no. Returns are within 72 hours no exceptions. Would have upgraded to a Queen bed frame and mattress if someone was available to discuss vs. being told no on the exchange. Will order new bed base from Amazon at half the cost with no hassles. Overall poor customer service. Management unavailable or anyone for that matter able to assist. Wanted to support local business. Ashley lost me as a customer.

This store is the absolute worse. They finally delivered my furniture damaged! And has yet to replace it. They want me to have it repaired in my home with 3 small children running around instead of delivering a new couch that I paid for!! Great service in store, but was sold a defective product that had immediate frame damage. Frame damage is supposedly covered until the furniture warranty, but we've been stood up for two repair consultation appointments with unreal excuses as to why the technician didnt show up. Any attempts to reschedule can only be done 30 days later. Ashley isn't accepting responsibility for the defective item and the repair warranty seems to be a scam.

On Tuesday, February 21, I had an appointment for delivery of a sofa and ottoman that I ordered in December 2022. I was looking forward to my new sofa. When the delivery workers arrived, they claimed the sofa didn't fit. They spent more time asking me to call Ashley than trying to get the sofa in the house. The sofa would fit, but I think these workers were the same workers who damaged my freshly painted wall during a previous setup. They didn't want to make another mistake. I called Ashley and explained the problem with the sofa and requested a refund. I was told that I could come in and get a refund. Friday, February 24, I went to Ashley for my refund. I was asked for identifying information and the credit card used to purchase the furniture. The customer service person Swiped my card And only then tells me I was charged a CANCELATION fee. Why? I wasn't informed of the Cancelation fee when I called on Tuesday. Nor was I informed of the fee prior to my card being Swiped. My purchase was over $1300, but I only received a refund of $800+. What were my options? Why wasn't I informed of the Cancelation fee prior to my visit to the store. I asked for the phone number of the corporate office. I dialed the number and spoke to a person at Regency Furniture. The person stated that I had reached corporate, but the office doesn't perform conflict resolution between customers and the stores. I was told I must return to the store and work the problem out. I have never heard of a legitimate Corporate Office not trying to resolve problems. Lesson learned NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE. This was my first purchase with this company. My next step is the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Loucustia

1st let me start off by saying this is a very late post. I never took the time to do one for Ashley's in the past. I use Ashley furniture for over 15 years. The Empire military I moved quite a bit and they were everywhere that I've gone perand late 2020 I purchase several pieces of furniture from the Waldorf location. The salesman followed me around like a puppy until he got the sale. Everything was grand but after 4 months the sofa collapsed. I went to the salesman and told him about it I did purchase the insurance as well . When I told him about the sofa he snapped quickly all I do is sales I don't have anything to do with the warranty or repair is. And I get that however he could have been courteous enough to direct me to who I needed to speak to. I spoke with the manager who was not much better.. They were closed for a while doing the pandemic during this time I warranty expired and they would not honor the one year manufactured warranty. Again again this is the only time in 14 years I had an issue but the fact that they would not help me made me boycott Ashley's. I don't feel like customer service should end after a sale. I am using voice to text so please forgive any grammatical error

This is the worst store in America. Poor customer service. You call and ask for a manger and you are told they are always on another call. Trying to exchange furniture because you thought you were buying adult furniture and when you get it home then you realize the inside of the furniture was made for a toddler clothes and not adult. Then you call the store trying to resolve the issue you are told that you have 72 hours to return the merchandise and you are calling withi. The 72 hours. If you pick up an item at 2 pm on Saturday wouldn't you have to Tuesday to return not Monday. It what world do you list 24 hours at the time of pick up. That would be considered as 48 hours for return. Also with this policy it is not stated anywhere on the paperwork that you have 72 hours for return on a standard/normal stock item. Buyer beware. The sharks are swimming over there at Ashley furniture

Ebony... Ebony’s service was exceptional. She was very professional, personable, and thorough. To help with my selection, Ebony patiently texted me pictures of the type of furniture that I may be interested in. I knew then, that purchasing the furniture would be an easy process. Once I arrived at the store, I was greeted like an old friend. I was also impressed with how Ebony took the time to sit with me and listen to my décor needs, including the specific measurements and unique design. What started as decorative confusion on my part, turned out to be acceptable in all aspects of color and comfort. The furniture was of excellent quality, and the right fit. Delivery was easy and on-time. Ebony then followed-up to make sure everything was ok. Because of the excellent service, I would highly recommend and use Ashley Furniture again in the future.

Sales people can intimidate me and then I end up making decisions I regret, but James stayed back and let me do my thing until I was ready. Very frustrating experience with Ashley Furniture. When purchasing an adjustable base for my disabled mother’s bed, I specifically asked for the base that I saw on display, which had legs. Also, I stated the bed was a platform bed. Prior to the delivery, I removed the slats and boards. The delivery man attempted to install an adjustable base without legs. Then he stated this base will not work because it doesn’t have legs and slats were needed. I replied, I can put the slats back. He replied the base was still too heavy and I needed the base with legs. I went to the Ashley store in Waldorf Md and explained this in detail. The lady cashier, who checked me out previously, stated you have a platform bed and a base with legs wouldn’t fit. I explained again what the delivery man said about the base being too heavy. Then I asked, was the delivery man wrong and asked for a solution. She never answered my questions. Instead she kept telling me that I needed the slats. A saleswoman or manager explained to her that it is possible to have an adjustable base with legs for a platform bed without slats. Still no solution and no answer to who was wrong. She continued ranting about the slats, while I stated that I could only tell her what I was told. Later, she offered a frame with legs for $1000 more than what I already paid because I needed a frame quickly…and she wasn’t sure if she could offer a discount. That was the quickest solution, so I was told. I went next door to Value City, who sells me an adjustable base with legs in less than 20 minutes. The salesman asked me if the platform bed had slats or not— a question Ashley’s never asked. I returned to Ashley to discuss my refund. The same cashier clerk says that I have to pay the 30% restocking fee because the error was mine because I said I have a platform bed and Ashley’s orders a certain adjustable base for platform beds. Mind you, none of these bases are on display. All of the bases on display have legs. I stated that I asked for legs. Why would I remove the slats if I had a way of knowing a specific or different base would be ordered. She stated that I signed the paper that says it was a platform bed. Notice the difference between Value City and Ashley’s. A platform bed should NOT default to a base type that is not on display. And, if the delivery man was wrong or correct Ashley’s should own it or tell me, so I can decide. Instead, the cashier took it personally and just wanted to win, forgetting about me as the customer and the confusion I experienced from the delivery person and now her. So, I have to pay a restocking fee for a type of base I never knew I was getting. Never again

Furniture keeps getting delayed. Our sectional was on backorder, but the sales person promised me if I bought it that it would 100% be delivered by Dec 26th. Spoiler, it's been delayed another month (I had to call to inquire when I hadn't heard anything after Xmas). Heads up if this happens to you... store won't let me cancel without a fee, and they couldn't care less. They definitely played me well.

Angelia and Maurice were very helpful Update: My furniture was supposed to be delivered today and when the contractors arrived (1 and 1/2 hours late) I was told that they would not be delivering my furniture because it was over three flights of steps. The the contractor said they would still do the delivery if I cashapped them $150. That is extortion. When I talked to a manager from Ashley she questioned if i informed them of where my apartment was. My apartment number is literally on the invoice and when I gave my address it was never a problem. Even if it was a problem I should have been informed and I would have payed the fee. Apparently the fee is $100 and not $150. This is a shady practice I’m certain ashley did not mention that this would be an issue on purpose. Now my delivery has been pushed back a second time and I’m being charged a fee because of poor management and communication. I’ve heard horror stories from family members about Ashley and now I’m experiencing it myself. I will never buy from this company again.

Do not I say again DO NOT buy furniture from this place. We were lied to from the beginning about when we will receive our furniture. We paid for our stuff back in March and have yet to receive it. The lady in the front calls herself the manager and came up with over 5 separate excuses in less than two minutes telling us that they will straight up not call and don’t have time to let us know any updates on our furniture. This was the first and very last time we will spend our hard earned money here. To anyone looking to buy here YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Horrible experience and customer service. Brought a sofa, Love seat, and desk in March. To my surprise in July the desk arrives and it’s the small part. The sales person was running some sort of scheme and did not ring up the purchase the correct way. The manager Alize then says I can fix this. It’s SEPTEMBER and was promised a new item this weekend. I just called for 2 hours and no one answered. I walk in the store no customers and 4 employees sitting around. But no one could answer the phone ? I then ask and still NO UPDATE on the desk. This is HORRIBLE customer service and HORRIBLE store. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I came to this location to pick up a specific piece and tho i was bummed about the nearly hour drive, Im so glad I did. The selection was great, i got more than what I went for, but the customer service was stellar! If anyone is looking to purchase any furniture in the future, Id recommend hunting down Brittney and letting her make your trip worth it! Really great and attentive without the pushiness of most salesman! Hopefully I can make it back again!

I tried to order my new living room and dining room sets online over 10x with no luck. I went to this location to see if they could honor my online purchase and help me to complete it in store. All individuals involved in the transaction were super helpful. The sales associate made me feel confident in my purchase by showing me the exact pieces or something similar on the floor. The location was so clean.

I would never shop with this location or any Ashley furniture ever again. I ordered my bedset in November 2021. I was informed it would take 8-12 weeks to arrive. Yea right! It took 8 months. I tried calling multiple times to speak to the manager and was given different expected delivery dates each time. I was also told I was going to be accommodated for how long I waited. Y’all, my bedset was $3,267 and they only took off $150! That is unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone. Corporate was no help and the employees don’t even follow up with you with accurate information. The customer service was horrible.

Purchased an adjustable bed with mattress from Waldorf store. The absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had. Nothing they told me was true. Worked with Steve who was supposed to know everything about adjustable beds. I thought I was buying a Beauty Rest set but found out afterwards that only the mattress was beauty rest. The adjustable base was made by Ashley. I was told that the brackets to mount a headboard to the base would come with the bed, but the delivery people left nothing. When I bought a headboard from some other store I began trying to get the necessary brackets for the bed. I called the store for days and would let the phone ring for 30 to 40 minutes and no one would answer. When I finally got someone on the phone and explained my problem, they said they would put a ticket in with service department and they would call me. After a week I tried calling the store again which took another few days to get someone to answer. When they did they told me to call the service department directly. I did and got someone named Dequan. He said he would order the brackets and have them sent to my house. After about 8 days, I called the service department again and was told by someone else that the base did not come with brackets to mount a headboard and that the service department could not order them. Fortunately this young lady knew what she was talking about and said she would research and would call me back. She actually called me the next day and told me I could call the manufacturer directly to order brackets. So finally more then a month after my bed was delivered i was able to purchase the brackets to mount my headboard. I had to wait another 10 days and they cost $25 + $30 shipping, and then another $100 to have the headboard installed (not by anyone from Ashley). IT WAS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE OF BEING LIED TO AT EVERY TURN!!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Steer clear of Ashley furniture.

I visited this Ashley’s last week and I wanted to leave a great review , Sammi greeted me and gave me and my family the space I needed to shop around. she was not hovering , she was very attentive. Me and my husband ended up buying 2 bookcases and a couple of pillows, we are new to this area and to find out she’s from the same home town as us made us feel exceptionally comfortable. Sammi was extremely attentive and very helpful! I visited Ashley’s 3 weeks ago. She greeted me and helped me find this lamp I saw online. She told me to “please have a seat while I look relax , love“ which was so thoughtful. I brought my mother with me and she is disabled with a cane. Instead of other places just making us look through that big furniture store just for 2 lamps , she cared about us. So I ended up purchasing 2 lamps from Sammi i plan on visiting this Ashley home furniture again to shop with Sammi.
MANAGEMENT AND STAFF IS PISS POOR. I went into this establishment a few days ago and the experience was horrendous. Per arrival I wasn't greeted and the staff seemed to be more worried about themselves rather the customers. While I was shopping I witnessed an angry customer and the staff behind the counter was not helpful at all. The workers were EXTREMELY rude and acted like the matter wasn't serious. Finally I was greeted by a woman named Sam who looked to be under the influence. The questions I had she didn't have any knowledge in regards to the furniture. Moments after I decided to leave and was told to "have a nice day" by an older gentleman. I will never step foot in this establishment and will be taking my money elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN
I've patronized this company, and particularly this store, for many years. Unfortunately, today will be my last time visiting. My family and I came in to make a purchase. We were not greeted as we entered the store, nor did anyone help us upon our viewing of any of the products. As we were exiting, we saw two salespeople, and again, neither asked us if we needed assistance. However, when a white coupled entered the store as we were exiting, one of the same salespeople jumped up to greet them and ask them if they needed assistance. Just ridiculous! We will be taking our money and our business elsewhere. Ashley Furniture, train your employees to provide quality customer service to all your customers, no matter their skin tone!
Was planning on buying but ran into issues and had to cancel my orders but was planning to make the purchase at a later date. Had no issues with having to pay a 10% cancellation fee for one of the orders because that's what I agreed to. However, there was an issue with their terminal trying to process the refund back to my card (bank had no issues with the card and it works fine everywhere else). I was patient when they said they would contact accounts payable and contact me within a day or so. Never heard back, called back several times and keep getting the runaround. Asked to speak to the manager several times but keep getting passed off (evidently they're a coward). It's been more than a week now and called the regional office and evidently I'm starting the process all over again and the more I do research the more I feel like it's better to go somewhere else.
I will never purchase anything from Ashley again. I purchased furniture back in November and was told that it would be delivered in February. February can and went still no furniture. I called the store in march only to be told it would be delivered in April. April has come and gone still no furniture. I then decided to go to the store to get my money back. Only to be meet by one of the sells person who told me that she was going to talk to her manager to see what they could do to make the situation better. She told me that he would reach out to me. I have not received a call nor did he reach out to me about anything. Now their saying the earliest they can deliver will be May. The manager don’t care they tell you what they think you wanna hear. All they care about is the dollar. Should’ve listen to other people when they say there the worst. So so true. They will never get anymore of my money .

To date, my prepaid (IN FULL) merchandise has Not been delivered. Multiple attempts to obtain an adequate status update have been met with contention, disregard and No resolve. Several calls to management have been ignored and Not returned. This location lacks professionalism, customer service and follow through. The phone rings and rings and rings. No one answers; however, the store is empty with maybe one or two customers. Note: the purchase was made in February/March - it's now May. The BBB is the next move regarding this matter.
Bad Customer service. Also, took five months to not even get my furniture. I Ordered in Nov. it was pushed out from March - May - June. Rude service on the phone. Went there and they asked if I could pick a different set under the guise of providing compensation. But didn’t. Terrible manager staff. And refusing to adjust my furniture.
I purchased a dining room set in January called for an status update, I was told April 5th would be the day my set comes in. Now I was told May 5. This is absolutely ridiculous, I haven't been able to host gathering because of this. I am livid, Ashley's needs to do better, UPDATE: 8/28/2022 Ashley's had given me three different delivery dates so I decided to get a refund and it was an absolute disaster trying to get my money back from them, after trying to get my money back from them for several weeks going back and forth with the store and corporate office things were not getting rectified. I had to submit a dispute claim with the company through my bank just to get my money back. If you cherish your hard earned money you might want to think twice with spending it here. I wouldn't care if Ashley's had a 99% off sale, I would never buy anything from them ever again.
Some of the employees at the Waldorf location are rude and unprofessional. Some are very racist there and seem to only want to help people of color. The manager has a bad attitude. I have taken my business elsewhere where I was greeted by pleasant employees who were more than willing to help me with my purchase.
Placed an order in November and was told latest delivery time would be first week of Feb , I didn’t hear anything so I followed up to only be told that it was pushed to the end of April “maybe” they never called to advise and the girl rudely said sorry we don’t give update calls . This store is horrible. I bought a mattress and box spring in November and was told the box spring would arrive in two weeks by the store manager. A month after purchase of the box spring, I was told all purchases would take 4 to 12 weeks to arrive. When I tried to cancel the order over the phone, I was told by the manager all cancellations are done in the store and there was a 30% cancellation fee. After making a 30 minute drive to the store, the manager; and staff at the front counter was rude and disrespectful. They chanted "have a nice life" as I left the store. I would not recommend purchasing any furniture from this business. Note: Ashley store headquarters customer service does provide solutions to issues affecting customers; instead customers are routed back to the store for answers concerning disputes.

My 76yo mom from Washington DC went and bought a mattress set from here. She was told it will ship in 7-10 business days. 2 months later she has yet to receive her mattresses. Last time shopping or ordering from here.
This was the worst buying experience I’ve had. I ordered a piece of furniture in early March. The estimated delivery was June. Without a phone call, it was pushed back to SEPTEMBER. When September came around - without a notice - it was pushed back to October. When I called to cancel the order, I was told that I have to make the 3-hour round trip to Waldorf to cancel in-person because it cannot be done on the phone or via email. Absolutely horrible. The staff couldn’t care less either. I wrote the owner at the e-mail address below with no response.

One thing worst then not getting the items you purchased is being lied to by management. Over 16 weeks waitng on my furniture and then when I cancel I'm being charged a "restocking fee" of $500 because its finally in stock. Absolutely ridiculous. The manager, Des'jona Triggs, looked me dead in my face and told me the computer automatically took the fee and there was nothing she could do. Never seen a weaker manager in my life. With this type of customer service, these stores won't survive.
Buyer beware 8 to 12 weeks could end up being sometime in the next 6to 12 months. I went in and purchased a bedroom set on April 24th. The sales rep said my items were in stock and I would likely have a 6 to 8 week wait. Although the paperwork says up to 12 weeks. As the 12th week arrived I realized I did not get a call to schedule a delivery so I called the store and was met with, oh it will be mid September. No that was not going to work so I drove up to the store where a fast talking manager attempted to keep the sale. I was informed that they would pull the items from other orders and schedule my delivery. Well another 3 weeks go by with nothing. I called corporate to be met with, no it looks like your order may not be here until late October. Mind you I bought this in cash April 24th to now say maybe late October. There is absolutely no accountability at this location. There seems to only be one objective, make the sale. I decided that it was just not worth the wait any longer. I went and got a full refund which it seems was the easiest part of it all. Guess that is what happens when several people are likely asking for them. It is understandable that covid may have an impact but honesty is the best policy and had I been given that with updates to the progress this may have been a different outcome. I was a long time shopper, no longer.
Bought a bed from them, waited over 4 months for the bed to arrive, only to find out they gave us two headboards. instead of a footboard. been waiting for over a month now for them to make it right.. and they keep pushing back the date.. I'm going to ask them to take the bed back and offer a refund. this is a joke.. ill find a bed on Facebook market place.
I never got a return call from Steve K. I was driving and happened to look over and saw Showman furniture store that was able to get me bedroom set I wanted.
My husband & I bought a mattress, box spring, and a bed frame from here, along with the $200 warranty to protect all those things. Total, we spent $3000. It got delivered & set up on July 4th, 2020. The support that went up the middle of the bed frame were 3 tiny feet that all bent/broke but one. On August 4th, 2020, a tree fell on our house after a hurricane & ruined our whole bedroom, including the bed. When I finally called to discuss getting a new bed & replacing everything with them, since we paid for a warranty, they told me there was NOTHING they could do because it was an “act of God.” Will never buy anything from this company again.
Waldorf is a horrible store! The employees at the Ashley furniture store I waldorf is horrible! Ordered furniture in January and still nothing! Everytime I call I get Dates all the time and still nothing! I really hate the employees and management there! They really need to reevaluate their staff! I’m so mad and about to go someone else! Called corporate office and I see Nothing has been done! Don’t shop there cause you will get a attitude!
The store had a good selection of furniture. They only had one person working the floor. So I had to wait for him to get service. There was a clerk at the desk. She was rude and couldn't answer my question about how long the sale last. Which I thought was a basic question. She didn't have any intention on seeing if she assist me at all. This was around 11:30 am. The floor person did answer all my questions.
Not worth spending your money there. I was told 8-12 weeks for my furniture and 15 weeks later someone finally decides to tell me I wouldn't get my stuff until August 10th for items purchased in February 5th. Not sure why they couldn't just deliver what they had already and deliver the items they were waiting on after. Why give a fake date if you already knew it wasn't going to be met. Communication needs to be better there. Decided to get my money back and purchase elsewhere.
My husband and I planned to order some new furniture for our family room, and we decided to check out Ashley HomeStore! We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Maurice Brooks. He was extremely attentive and fast [We literally told him a few times: take your time]. He was able to get the quotes done for us swiftly. He showed us what we wanted to see! While we were sitting down enjoying the furniture, he walked around the store and took pictures of what he thought we would like based on what he gleaned from our discussion. We ordered a lovely new furniture set! The customer service was superb. I highly recommend this store, and Mr. Brooks.
Misleading advertising. 50% off sale advertised but please read the fine print. You are only entitled to 50% off after spending X amount at the store! I walked a few steps and went to Value City Furniture and bought my dressing table.
Botched delivery+Terrible customer service Like many reviews on here, we ordered our furniture easily 12 weeks ago, back in late February or early March. Fast forward to end of April, we get a call, YAY! Delivery is scheduled for May 5th, and I'm given a window of time. Cool beans this works. Delivery guys show up, I tell them where to place the furniture, they begin bringing in my bedroom set piece by piece and begin assembling. 1st red flag: I'm standing in the room below them, so I can hear everything, boxes dropping, something hitting the wall and naturally I come upstairs to "inspect" and see what's going on. From what I could see, everything looked OK. So I go back downstairs. 2nd red flag: While the assembly went seemingly fast, completed a little over an hour, it was time to "inspect" the final product and sign off on the job. I walk around the king storage bed, five drawer chest, two night stands and the longer dresser. I look for any cracks, dents, pull the drawers out and everything. I noticed that one of the support structures (mini legs) under where the bed would be placed was leaning in the wrong direction, I let the delivery guy know, he shifts it and proceeds to explain to me that we had a sturdy bed. I proceed to sign off on the delivery manifest and tip the delivery folks. 3rd red flag: My husband comes home, he's excited to see the new furniture and he now becomes the second set of eyes. So he's inspecting everything, similar to what I did an hour earlier, walking around, pulling at drawers, inspecting the services, etc. We pull the top two drawers on the headboard bookcase and what happened, the top drawer handle slides downward, indicating that there was no screw installed on that side, but screwed tight enough on the one side to "appear" that all was well. So we now proceed to pulling out ALL of the drawers within the bedroom set. We then discover there was yet another drawer, this time at the base of the king storage bed, tightly screwed on one side and missing screw on the other. To add insult to injury we look on the wall, behind where the nightstand is and there is dent and scratch, down to the sheet rock on the wall that wasn't there prior. At this point I locate my receipt and the manifest of the delivery and contact the Waldorf store. It is now a little after 5pm. I call and a female associate answers, I explain we just received our items today, it was assembled but two drawer handles were broken, she noted that, gave me my invoice number and proceeded to tell me to send her pictures, with a brief statement and the invoice number to her email(%$@!@ashleyhs.com). Prior to receiving the information she would relay the information to the service department. I say "ok thank you," we hang up and within 5 minutes I sent the email with pictures, invoice and brief statement. The second day after my initial call, Friday may 7th rolls around and no call, no "received" email back, nothing, so I proceed to call again. Another female associate answers, I explain my previous contact with her coworker and a description of what I needed. As the previous associate stated, send me the pictures, your invoice number while we're on the phone, while stating that the previous associate never received my information after telling her which email address I sent it to. Botched delivery+Terrible customer serviceLike many reviews on here, we ordered our furniture easily 12 weeks ago, back in late February or early March. Fast forward to end of April, we get a call, YAY! Delivery is scheduled for May 5th, and I'm given a window of time. Cool beans this works. Delivery guys show up, I tell them where to place the furniture, they begin bringing in my bedroom set piece by piece and begin assembling. 1st red flag: I'm standing in the room below them, so I can hear everything, boxes dropping, something hitting the wall and naturally I come upstairs to "inspect" and see what's going on. From what I could see, everything looked OK. So I go back downstairs. 2nd red flag: While the assembly went seemingly fast, completed a little over an hour, it was time to "inspect" the final product and sign off on the job. I walk around the king storage bed, five drawer chest, two night stands and the longer dresser. I look for any cracks, dents, pull the drawers out and everything. I noticed that one of the support structures (mini legs) under where the bed would be placed was leaning in the wrong direction, I let the delivery guy know, he shifts it and proceeds to explain to me that we had a sturdy bed. I proceed to sign off on the delivery manifest and tip the delivery folks. 3rd red flag: My husband comes home, he's excited to see the new furniture and he now becomes the second set of eyes. So he's inspecting everything, similar to what I did an hour earlier, walking around, pulling at drawers, inspecting the services, etc. We pull the top two drawers on the headboard bookcase and what happened, the top drawer handle slides downward, indicating that there was no screw installed on that side, but screwed tight enough on the one side to "appear" that all was well. So we now proceed to pulling out ALL of the drawers within the bedroom set. We then discover there was yet another drawer, this time at the base of the king storage bed, tightly screwed on one side and missing screw on the other. To add insult to injury we look on the wall, behind where the nightstand is and there is dent and scratch, down to the sheet rock on the wall that wasn't there prior.At this point I locate my receipt and the manifest of the delivery and contact the Waldorf store. It is now a little after 5pm. I call and a female associate answers, I explain we just received our items today, it was assembled but two drawer handles were broken, she noted that, gave me my invoice number and proceeded to tell me to send her pictures, with a brief statement and the invoice number to her email(%$@!@ashleyhs.com). Prior to receiving the information she would relay the information to the service department. I say "ok thank you," we hang up and within 5 minutes I sent the email with pictures, invoice and brief statement. The second day after my initial call, Friday may 7th rolls around and no call, no "received" email back, nothing, so I proceed to call again. Another female associate answers, I explain my previous contact with her coworker and a description of what I needed. As the previous associate stated, send me the pictures, your invoice number while we're on the phone, while stating that the previous associate never received my information after telling her which email address I sent it to. I paid in full via check over $2,000 for a sectional sofa on 2/15/2021 the monies were paid to ashley furniture from my bank acct on 2/18/2021. I called the store about status of delivery about 3 wks ago and was informed by the store manager that i had a balance due and thus the reason my furniture hadnt been delivered "as a matter of fact your furniture is here you need to pay the balance". Of course i had to explain I printed out my paid check back/front took it to ashley's and was told my check hadnt been applied to my acct by their corporate office and until corporate dis that it was nothing that could be done. I went home called them the next day the manager said this time all my furniture is not in???? Really? I said so my situation is not special cause he said its lots of people waiting on furniture.....so now i have contacted the regional manager andnits been 2 days ago and he has not called back and wont answer the phone. Today i asked for a refund to go buy readily avaolable furniture and was informed it wod take 30 days to get a refund cause i paid with a check omg! My check cleared in feb 2021 so wheres my money???. Smh i think ashley regency and value city all ow ed by the same corporation -- never again for me with these companies.
The shopping experience itself was easy, my husband and I already knew what we wanted. Darryl helped us with the order and told us we should see our furniture in 4-6 weeks. During checkout, we were told 8-12 weeks, but Darryl assured us it would be sooner. After 4-6 weeks, we never received any phone calls or updates on our delivery. We began to call 2 to 3 times a week to get updates and never received a clear delivery date. We continued to wait until the max 12 weeks, and were told conflicting information along the way. It was not a special order and should not have taken 12 weeks. So once the 12 weeks mark came and went, and they still weren’t able to give us a date, we requested a refund. The salesman, Darryl, was at first trying to assure us that we would have it within 48 hours, so we tried to wait again, and still nothing. So we requested a refund again and he was rude and defensive, and when my husband was trying to talk calmly to him, Darryl began to walk away. Eventually we received our refund, but it was a horrible experience that resulted us in waiting 12 weeks for nothing and a sales staff that didn’t communicate or help.
Purchased a sectional in full on the first of December. I was told the order would be delivered early February and have called each week since then to check on the status. It is currently March 16th and I still have no couch nor do they have a time frame on when I will receive my couch. Each week I call and it is the same response, “your status hasn’t been update, call back next week”. Again I have paid in full for the couch and can’t even receive a time frame on when I will receive my couch. In all honesty this seem like a total scam. I would avoid this purchasing anything at this location at all cost.
**Final Update: couch was delivered, assembled very quickly and delivery men were very nice and helpful. they positioned it where i wanted it, made sure i was happy before i left. even gave them snacks and water for their day since we were the first stop. very pleased with our couch, it feels great, i have already fallen asleep on it many times. it fits perfectly in the space and we look forward to enjoying it for a long time. i guess i can keep the 5 stars. If i need to ever use the protection plan for damage or spills, i'll put some comments here. **Update #3: we called during week 13 and they said they were still waiting for the last piece, told us middle to end of May then. Days later they called and were ready to schedule delivery. it will be delivered in a week and a half. i'm honestly not totally mad. it would be one thing if we were at 12 weeks and they had only gotten one piece in.. but with COVID, and the progress they made in getting it, i can't be totally mad. BUT DARRYL NEEDS TO STOP TELLING PEOPLE SOONER, UNREALISTIC DATES. Based on other comments, he does that a lot... will final update when delivered. **Update#2: just called, it is mid week 12, and they said they are now waiting on one piece of the 4-piece sectional we bought. They gave us a date on when it should arrive, and that they will give us a call to set up delivery when it arrives.. **UPDATE: we are starting week 11 of the "8-12" and i called the store to get an update. they said they have 1 piece of the 4-piece sectional right now, and that they are waiting on the other 3 pieces. Had no estimated time when they'd be in; told me i may need to wait the whole 12 weeks as a safe bet. yea.. we'll see. i'm seeing more comments about Darryl.. maybe your staff should not be telling customers one thing and the front desk say another.. We just ordered a sectional from here, but i did not read the reviews prior. Our in-store experience was great, Darryl was helpful, answered our questions, and made the process quick and painless. HE told us most customers, even given COVID, have received their furniture in 2-6 weeks, BUT our paperwork said 8-12 weeks. It's only been one week so far (i'm impatient and excited for my new furniture) so i will try and hold out, and see what happens. I will be updating this review later, when we receive our couch. i'm keeping my fingers crossed we do not experience what others have in recent months...
Paid over $2000 for a couch ordered 11/9/20. Was told 4-12 weeks for delivery. Today’s week 14, called to find out when it would be delivered, now told March 6th and she said it may or may not be delivered later than that. Maybe I’ll get to enjoy my couch sometime next year.
I worked with Alexis (I want to say that was her name) she was really sweet and attentive. I knew what I wanted but they didn’t have it so I had to go back home empty handed and regroup. I went back a week later and she was still there to assist and I finally made a decision. The delivery was quick and the delivery guys were nice. HOWEVER! I took a star away because I didn’t catch the young lady’s name who called me to confirm my delivery time but she had a very unprofessional attitude because I asked her to repeat my order. It was like speaking with a child...She was huffing and puffing and said “well what did you order.” She should definitely not be allowed to work the phones with customers if that is how she reacts. Crazy! But Alexis was great and I will be back to work with her on getting a few more pieces!
Worst place to buy from! Bought my furniture over 5 months ago and they keep blowing me off of when I'm going to get my furniture. They told me 4 to 8 weeks but no more than 12 and yet they still can't tell me when I will get it. Also they told me different prices every time I went in. After the guy told me one price they turn around a took one of the prices off and still charge me the same price so then I had to go back and pay again for the additional piece. The guy even said he had made the mistake but not adding the fourth peice but yet I still had to pay extra.
Do you guys answer the phone? I've been trying for a week multiple times a day! When people are in store you make sure to get that sale for commission but after that it's F the customer...... I have a question regarding warranty and if not then a price!!! Answer the dang phone!

Ordered furniture September 20th it’s now December 12th and I still don’t have my bedroom set. Went inside the store 4 times to talk with a manager, that was pointless. I also ordered furniture from Value City and Article ON THE SAME DAY. Got my furniture from the other stores but nothing from Ashley Home Store Waldorf. The bedroom set I wanted was on back order until January at Value City so I went into Ashley Home Store looking for another option. I was guaranteed a 6-8 week delivery. I’m now kicking myself because it’s about to be January and I still don’t have my bedroom set that cost me $3,973.02 from Ashley’s. I should have stuck with Value City!
We've been to several other furniture stores. Some had somewhat reasonable prices and selections, but were lack-luster in customer service. We arrived at Ashley's where we were greeted by Dylan. He was busy, but still attentive to us. He did not pressure us and was very patient. He went as far as to actually move tables to the furniture we were focused on, to give us the visual of a complete couch and table set. We took a day to think on it. The next day, we revisited the other stores first. They all had HORRIBLE customer service. Back at Ashley's, we met with Dylan again. Being picky shoppers, we saw another set we liked even better. Dylan was again very attentive and patient. Although Ashley's has a good selection with reasonable SALE prices, it was Dylan who played a major role in our decision to purchase from your store. Dylan is what Customer Service is all about. Four stars pending the delivery and my quality control inspection. Update 12/08/2020: Our furniture arrived on Halloween day. We were called in advance and they lined up the delivery according to our availability of a couple choices. The driver and his crew were professional and assembled the furniture for us. The furniture is awesome and we do NOT regret the purchase. 5 stars !
**I'll give one star for the salesman good attitude** HOWEVER.... This is by far the worst service I have ever received from a store. I went into Ashley Furniture store because I love the furniture and have always purchased my living, dining and bedroom furniture from the Ashley warehouse (through a private distributor). This is the first time going inside the store to make and purchase and I absolutely regret it!! I have been waiting for months to receive a call informing me of my furniture being available at the store location. I have had to call a few times to inquire about the furniture as I never received a call on the 3 different dates given for the furniture to be available. I call for a fourth time (after my due date has passed yet again) and was told that it may be another 3 weeks or at the latest in January 2021!!! I was told by the salesman that the delivery would take longer due to COVID-19 but shouldn't be more than 6 weeks. My family and I have no furniture to sit on in our new home because of this. The customer service is difficult to talk to because they are not helpful at all. Actually seems like they could care less about the customers. There should be other options when this happens to the customer. At least have the professionalism to call the customer and keep them updated on the past due "available" dates. I will never order anything from this store again. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering!! Oh and btw....guess too many people are calling today as I have been on the phone listening to it ring for an half hour.....
I cannot even express how awful this store is. We purchased thousands of dollars in furniture along with a warranty plan. 4 years later, most of the furniture is falling apart and warranty would cover nothing! I ordered a new part (that I paid for) and it’s been almost 3 months and I have not received it. This is after trying to order the product for the previous 4 months. I have called over a dozen times and a manager was supposed to call me back each time. I never got that call. Cooperate office won’t help because it is a franchise. This is the biggest “buyer beware” I could ever warn others of.
Horrible service. I bought a living room set and we were told free shipping the whole time but the minute it came to getting our cards they said “oh, no free shipping” but we liked the set so we purchased it anyways AND we left right after to hear free shipping at your Ashley’s home store on the radio commercial but we couldn’t get our money back. We were also told and on invoice it says with delivery 2-6 weeks and after a month of waiting they are now saying not until the new year. When asking for the floor model because we now live in a new home with no where to sit they pretty much told me, I don’t know what to tell you. Would recommend any other Ashley’s or furniture but not the Waldorf location.
I have made 2 separate purchases from this store. The first purchase was made back in June where I bought 2 bedroom sets. During delivery, one headboard came torn and there was damage done to my brand new walls. I asked the delivery driver what the process was to get my walls fixed. He told me that I needed to call the store. I called the store to inform them about the wall damage and the torn headboard. However, I was unable to get in contact with the store as their phones were down. When The line was back up and running I made another call and remained on hold for over 40 mins. Someone answered the phone and then immediately hung up on me!!!!!! I called back later as I was informed that “the morning staff does not answer the phone”. So unprofessional!!! Once I finally spoke to someone I let them know about the damage that was done to my products and my wall. I was told that a report needed to be put in that day. I was very upset as I was misinformed by the delivery personnel and it had been 4 days since my furniture was delivered. The store told me they would take care of the damages and get in contact with me but now 5 months later, I have not heard from the store on the matter. What’s up with that? I also needed to return one of the dressers as they did not fit in my bedroom space. I was told that I would be charged a restocking fee and a delivery fee and would be out of $600 unless I bought something else. I came to the store and selected a couch instead so that I could still get my moneys worth and I paid the difference on the sofa that day. I was also limited and was forced to purchase something in the store and was not able to select something from online or from a nearby store (which has the same franchise owner I should add). I paid for the delivery truck to come back out and pick up the item. This was at some point in July. I was originally told that my couch was in stock and would be delivered within a couple weeks. I called for an update and they told me that it would not be delivered until August now. I was a little frustrated since I was told something else but I just waited it out. When the projected delivery date approached, I gave the store another call for an update. I was informed that my couch would not be delivered until September. Since September I have called the store numerous times and each time my projected delivery date was pushed out. A few weeks ago, I called again to get an update and they said November 2nd. I was very upset since the store has had my money since July. I was told that the manager/owner would contact me. I have not heard from the store or the manger/owner. Today I placed a call and I am now being told December 12th. I am completely fed up with this store. The way that they operate is extremely unprofessional. They don’t care about their customers enough to answer the phone, return calls or even provide an update when a manufacturer delivery has been pushed back. I was offered a $50 gift card if I didn’t cancel my purchase but when you spend $5000-$6000 in a single day, $50 is nothing. I know for sure other customers have issues with the store as one time while I was on the phone, I could hear another angry customer screaming in the background about her products. I when I heard this, I should have taken this as a red flag and demanded my money back that day. Let me say this, the only reason I have not gone up to the store and done the same thing is due to Mrs. kitty. She is the BEST thing about that place. Very kind, very professional, very considerate and understanding. If it wasn’t for her, I would have taken my money elsewhere a long time ago. But at this point, I can no longer put up with this store.
In-store purchasing experience was great. I wish I could rate this separately. Unfortunately the delivery and installation did not go as well. Bought a leather power sectional. Love seat poorly installed. Left rocking. Not sure if frame is damaged or it’s just not installed properly. Electric chord left across a walkway creating a tripping hazard, the last thing I need as a person with a disability. Very disappointed as it took awhile to get the furniture after purchase. This is understood because of the effect of the pandemic. However, the poor installation is inexcusable and a bad look for the Ashley Furniture Brand. The corporate call center also needs refresher customer service training. A non-chalant, “couldn’t care less” attitude only makes matters worse. Not once did the rep ask how to make things right or offer any empathy. I own several pieces of Ashley furniture. I hope I don’t have to make this my last. The brochure promises excellence. This was far from it. Still waiting for resolution with furniture I cannot use.
My husband and I purchased a gray leather sectional on August 8th after we paid and got the invoice I ask how soon could the sectional be delivered that's when I was informed that the item wasn't in stock therefore it would be 4 to 6 weeks. We waited past the six weeks then was told it would be late November now who in their right mind is willing to wait that long. When I went to cancel my order on October 4th the Manager Matt and salesman Barry had big Attitudes. Why are they selling furniture that they don't even have in stock? I wouldn't recommend anyone to this type of foolishness totally unacceptable!!! My money & peace of mind matters

The worst place to purchase furniture. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to get furniture from this company. We purchased during a holiday weekend special in May 2020. When ordering was informed by the salesperson that all our furniture was in stock and would be delivered between 2-6 weeks. I was fine with that because my wife was pregnant and we ordered a bed to be be delivered. This location has the worst communication I had to call multiple times to check on my order without answers until I personally drove to the store and demanded answers. They informed me some of the furniture was on back order. I then selected different items and was told again those items are in stock and would be delivered. They delivered some of it but long story short we didn’t get everything we purchased until September 2020. I think it’s outrageous we had to wait 4 longs months later. This store made a lot of promises they could not deliver on and sell items they don’t even have. They are not customer focused.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DELIVERY TIMELINELike many others have said, we ordered furniture for multiple rooms over two months ago and still have yet to receive all of our furniture...and the furniture we did receive has defects! The only reason we received any furniture was because we called multiple times, went in 4 times, and finally threatened to cancel the order due to the lack of customer service and communication. They make you feel like you are in good hands in the store and then you never hear from them again. The manager even defended this process by saying that there was no tracking system on their end so the customers just have to call to receive updates. I&'ve never heard of something so ridiculous. I will never order from Ashley furniture again.
If I could rate this store a 0, I would! Not just the store but the entire brand off of my experience. I purchased furniture in February, it was delivered in March. Discovered it was broken in March, sent 16 emails and numerous calls. No fix and I’m still trying to get it resolved.

This place was terrible. I left without purchasing a thing. I over heard a customer service department that was talking g about a customer. None of them had on a mask. The sales person at the front door was condescending and the other person sitting at the door Gabe me the eye, and not a good one from the time I hit the door. The sales person told me that the Ashley website and store are not affiliated so he have me a different delivery time. Then there was a random person sleeping in a chair in the store. He was not a customer. Very uncomfortable. Also asked for The managers information, the sales person gave me the wrong number.
I realize every time I arrive in this furniture store the salesmen and/or women are at the front waiting for you to enter. This particular salesman spoke and introduced himself and I told him what I was looking for and I went on my search. I found what I wanted and he assisted me with the sale. First, you didn't ask if I wanted the 5 year protection plan. You just included it on my invoice. I did not realize it until after I signed it but I will blame me for not paying attention. My first question was, "Is it available?" He did say no but we can get it to you as early as September 6, 2020. The date of this transaction was July 11, 2020. I told him I was in need of this furniture by or prior to September 12. Now on August 26, 2020 I called to confirm that my time of arrival was still September 6. They told me no it was scheduled for September 15. I asked the young lady, "When were you going to inform me of this change since I have to schedule my day off." She said it was your salesman's responsibility to inform you of any changes. Well, he did not. I expressed how angry I was. First, you all lurk at the door when customers come in, then you give them a date that is not or will not be accurate, you don't follow up when things change and I am almost sure that half of your inventory in the store is not in stock. I want them to stop blaming COVID-19 because this store was like this prior to COVID. Some of these furniture stores need to get it together. Later, I inquired about two tables that I saw in the store. That same salesman gave me a total price of $800 for those two tables (1 coffee table and 1 side table) I told him he lost his mind. When I got home and did an online order for the same exact tables the total came to $546.00 and deliver was quick. People do your homework on the items you are looking for prior to going into the store. The prices will be higher in store and they will add a protection plan and then some without asking.
The young lady was very helpful. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for however I did find some Alternatives with her help. Overall clean and bright place.
It took over over 2 months to get get our couch. We were told it would be 6 weeks at the most. It came with a damaged frame. Now we have to wait for a technician to come out. I was told they would call back in 3 days from the service department but I am not hopeful as other reviews indicate that call backs are rare. I had to call around a lot to get this delivery to actually happen after a cancelation, and only one service rep was helpful. I also asked customer service for info on the warranty program the sales rep claimed was all encompassing. They breezed right by that and declined to provide information. This leads me to believe that the other reviews about sales reps lying about the coverage are 100% true and it is a known issue. Will update review with how long this takes to resolve and if they offer any UPDATE: It's been a week and no one has called back. Not surprising considering the other reviews. Customer service has also not emailed back.

Don’t be fooled by the higher rating. They will tell you a sooner date that they can deliver the furniture but in reality they just do that to get a sale. Once you confront them about the unacceptable wait time they are reluctant to provide clarity on the situation. Do not buy your furniture from here!!!!
We bought from them several years ago and before we bought the warranty we wanted to make sure that it covered any damages from a dog. We told the guy we just got a puppy and would keep her away from the furniture but IF it got chewed on would it cover it. He said yes no problem. He made it seem like they covered anything because he described an example where a woman dropped nail polish on the furniture and it was replaced. So hey sounded good right....wrong. Our bed frame was scratched and they said they don’t cover animal scratches. We argued we were told it did before we bought warranty. They said we should have read warranty book but it was given to us AFTER we bought the Warranty and the guy assured us multiple times after spending $4,000 on furniture there. Also, we had a drawers that were broke. During delivery and it took NINE months and multiple calls and no call backs to us walking up into the store and making a scene before someone got ahold of someone to come fix our furniture the delivery people broke!! It took up to a year to get everything done. One drawer still won’t shut and our bed is still scratched and we have a useless warranty that we spent hundreds of dollars on. So basically the guy who sold us the furniture (a manager) lied to us and we are unsatisfied and still have messed up furniture three years later. Won’t ever shop from there again.
Purchased a table from Ashley furniture. Within months the table was already peeling on the surface. Called customer service and got a representative who stated that the warranty did not cover the surface. This was incorrect per their warranty, see picture. Have tried calling and emailing with no response. Recommend if you shop at this store, you do not count on the warranty to help you out later.
I came in looking and pricing the bedroom set I would like. Barry Robinson introduced himself, and gave me space. imagine that a salesman giving me space. when I found the furniture I wanted Barry was there to give me the best price possible. I told him I would like to talk with my husband. I called Barry up and met with him and settled with little problem. amazing customer service. the problems I encountered was not with Ashley but with getting a Uhaul vehicle.

Super cheap and easy to order
We were in Ashley furniture on Friday 6/26 and our associate Mara was great!! She was so helpful friendly and just plain awesome!! We had a bad experience with a competitor the previous week and left there not happy so decided to go to Ashley in York and so glad we did! We will def go back there again! We found the couch and love seat we were looking for! The man who took our payment was also great very friendly and professional! His name was Oscar! If anyone needs any furniture Ashley is the place to go I will recommend them to anyone!!! Thank you Ashley and Mara and Oscar!
We went the the store to buy a king bed not to look for a bed but to buy a bed, salesman met us upon entering we told what we wanted he told us that beds were through the store and if we see a queen they could get it in king,so we started walking alone,we saw three prospects but with no one to talk to about the beds, we just gave up and walked down to VCF and purchased a bed .Real salesmen there.We assumed your sales men don't work on commission.

Dylan was great. He let me shop no pressure how I wanted to shop at my own pace and he periodically checked in to make sure I was still okay. He answered all of my questions. I'm very happy about the furniture I picked out. I can't wait for it to be delivered. Everything in the store is very nice quality.

Of course, this isn't the same as the pitch they sell you when you purchase this useless warranty. Please check the quality of what you're buying and forgo the useless warranty. I recently visited Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Waldorf, Maryland to inform them about the wrong reclining sofa being delivered to my home. When I arrived, Monique, greeted me and was well aware of my situation as we had already spoken on the phone. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist was much appreciated. I had waited weeks for the delivery and to get the wrong piece was frustrating. Monique didn't allow my frustration to disrupt her excellent customer service. She followed me to the section where the correct sofa was located, updated my information to reflect the new sofa and called her manager up to get me a discounted price. Monique, you are awesome and deserving of the praise. I hope she is rewarded for her professionalism in a tangible way. I will definitely shop at Ashley Furniture again as a result of Monique.
We are new to the area and were searching for a number of different pieces for our newly built home. DesJona was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction and even showed us some clearance items instead of just trying to make us spend a lot. We will return to set up a dining room set in the very near future. We will seek her out to be sure to get the best deal and a professional salesperson!

They were completely unprofessional in 90% of my interaction. At first, the salesman was somewhat pushy and just unprofessional, and then tried to get me to pay for delivery ($199) through one of his buddies because I was told I did not qualify due to part of my order being a floor model. After I went through the checkout process with the clerk (who was pleasant), I was told my mattress would take 14 days to be delivered which seems excessive. I was also told I qualified for free delivery, and when I tried to confront the salesman about it, he was nowhere to be found, and did not see him for the remainder of the interaction. When the delivery date finally rolled around, I was told they would only be delivering the mattress, and that they knew nothing about our bedroom set. I had to call several times to speak to a manager who was apparently "on break" every time I would call, and that he would call me back (never did). Finally after the 4th time calling, a nice lady was able to schedule the bedroom set delivery for another date. I would give one star but the two people that were decent that I dealt with made the experience bearable. I will NEVER go back and I suggest no one else does.
I went to purchase a three piece sectional, the sales person was absolutely helpless. He did not know how to use a computer to look up different pieces that met our size requirements for our living room. Finally after wasting an hour with him an employee asked if we were going to make a sale because they were closing soon. I responded “we’ve been trying to for the past hour”. When we paid for the sectional we purchased the hassle free delivery and set up. This was a huge mistake and I will never go back to Ashley’s because of this. Our three piece sectional was delivered 2 weeks after purchase. One piece of the sectional was damaged on the bottom corner. They took back the damaged piece and left us the two good pieces. Two weeks go by and it gets delivered again. DAMAGED in the same spot just glued. They took it back. Months go by before they delivered it for a third time. From purchase in October to final delivery in January our two pieces that were Not damaged are completely worn out because it was missing the end for so long. i will never recommend Ashley’s to anyone.

Horrible serviceWaited 2 months for my furnitures and my dining table still has not arrivedI have the documents which shows my purchase date and there is no furniture company who would take this long to deliver the finalized furnitures. First they delivered a defected dining table and then they took it back and has not yet delivered my dining table yet. I bought two mattresses from them and one of them has defect on it. While sleeping I feel one side of the mattress has less air and it feels like when you have a flat tire. I told them to replace that and they got back to me today (01/06/2019) and said I have to pay inspection fee of $125 to have the technician inspect the mattress first. Why would I pay the fee for a defect mattress to be inspected. I guess I have to deal with the defected mattress and had my money gone to waste. I still have not received notification about my dining table Customer service is at its worst and I never expected this from a renowned furniture store. Never recommending anyone to buy from them. Buying a mattress from ikea is much better.
Dishonest business practicesTHERE is NO SUCH THING AS CUSTOMER SERVICE, I&'ve come to feel as if I&'ve entered the Twilight Zone of the furniture store industry. I was promised at least a phone call and to date, not a peep. Instead, the store manager was annoyed because I refused to accept a partial order (WHICH IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR).I purchase my furniture on Nov. 30th, 2019, my salesperson (Darrell) did an excellent job of misrepresenting the company. He was personable, charismatic, and very professional. However; to my regret and disappointment, it has materialized into the complete opposite experience. A partial order of my furniture arrived the day before Christmas !!!, I did not receive any prior notification that there was a problem with the order. Thank God I refused to accept the partial order since then I&'ve read of countless others who&'ve been stuck waiting for furniture.The biggest regret was not researching the Customer experience being given them my money!!!! If you are considering Ashley&'s RUN !!! Don&'t take my word for it, DO YOUR RESEARCH.

This comment is about the customer service at the store. When we purchased the items the service was average! We had an issue with our furniture called the store for guidelines and asked to speak to a manager. After wrong information was provided I decided to call again and Valerie answered the phone and even though I asked her several times if she was a manager she said yes and kept on talking without listening to what I had to say or helping me with my issue. I asked one more time to speak with a manager after she admitted she was not one I got connected to David which he just keep screaming at me and telling me I had it to call the warehouse. My issue didn’t get resolve, I got lied to and screamed at like I didn’t pay a penny for the furniture and at not point of this situation I was rude or disrespectful. This is just disappointing I will be contacting corporate on Monday.
I shopped the evening of black Friday about an hour before they closed. My sales person was very kind and helpful. One gentleman at the front desk who may have been an assistant manager was rude, even mean, to my sales person. His behavior toward the sales person was embarrassing. Yes, it was late, and yes, everyone was tired, but showing a little grace goes a long way. I will shop there again, but the rude guy will NEVER get my business.
I spoke with a sales rep and was told the matching end table that they had in stock. When I arrived at the store I was then told that I would have to go to the warehouse in Brandywine. I hate making big ticket purchases, like vehicles/furniture/etc. It's never a enjoyable experience, and I often walk out with a migraine form all the pressure & stress. That is, until my experience at Ashley yesterday. All 4 staff members that I worked with were great, especially the manager Skip. They went over and beyond to make sure I walked out with no regrets. Never before have the salespeople worked so hard to make sure I was happy with the purchase, not just to push a sale (I never felt that pressure). No bait and switch, broke down the $ total and fully explained every charge, etc. I will be going back here anytime I need furniture.

Horrible service!!! My fiancé ordered a dining room table when the table was delivered it was incomplete and could not be assembled we sent it back and they refused to refund our money without charging us a restocking fee. Yes a restocking fee for a product they could not provide. So we gave them a second chance and in two weeks the delivery guys showed again with the same damn table missing the parts it needs to be assembled. At this point I was livid I travel for work and I felt as though because my fiancé was going there alone they were trying to take advantage of her. I called several times and was never allowed to speak a manager then she goes back to the store and speaks to &"Skip&" the store manager he apologized and assured us we would get a full refund in 72 hours. well after 96 hours no refund we called back and they said they can&'t refund our money until the item is returned the item that we never accepted the item that went back with the same delivery people that they sent to deliver it and put it together the item that I no longer want and they can shove up their a$$. We informed them this is not our problem we just want our money back to which they gave us all kinds of excuses from the &"the invoice is locked&" to &"it&'s still listed as out for delivery&" none of these issues concern me we were assured a refund and we deserve one regardless of how incompetent their personnel are. NO ONE should do business with this Ashley HomeStore or maybe any others...they are not concerned with customer service or customer satisfaction once they get your money. The worst part of this is we have another house to completely furnish and my fiancé loves their products but I will be damned before they receive another dime from me.

AWFUL AWFUL customer service all the way up to the corporate level! The sales people were good at selling but not filling you in on the fine print! My husband and I have been buying from Ashley (different states) for years but no longer.
Horrible customer service from the corporate end, never experienced such neglect and incompetence from a company/store. We have so many issues w the furniture we received and no matter who we call and how many times we get very VERY little help. It’s been over 1.5 months. We then asked if we can return the item but they said because it’s been over 72 hours we would have to pay a fee. We called the day after we received the furniture with our complaints and it was always “well get back to you”. Never did. Trash. Wish I could give 0 stars.
From the time I entered the store I was treated like royalty . Lauren was great. She introduced herself and she was very familiar with the stock. The manager David was also a great help as well. He assisted me with finalizing my purchase. When I couldn't find the lamps I wanted, David assisted me in finding some new ones that went great with my furniture. The young lady at the Service Desk was very pleasant and helpful as well. Sorry, I can't remember her name. All in all, I was very happy with my experience at Ashley HomeStore in Waldorf.

Good experience with Ashley Furniture. I really like their “hold price” program. Allows me to pay on furniture over a reasonable timeframe.
Slightly disappointed with our visit. I saw a set of tables on the Ashley website and I am the type of person who likes face to face interaction. We went in to see the tables and purchase using my Ashley card and the price was almost $200 more than online. I asked if they could price match the and was told they were a privately owned store and a manager would need to approve the match. We were told they might be able to get close to the price but because of margin would most likely not receive the same price. We left and I ordered them online. It was interesting to me that they would prefer to not match the price and lose a sale entirely, it's like they are pushing people to the website which is what I will do moving forward.
Online typically has better deals, although we were able to get our couch at a sale price in store. Do your research before you buy in store.
Our shopping experience was totally AWESOME! We were looking for a few pieces to update our comfortable and cozy home. We searched and found the exact pieces we were looking for at an extremely reasonable price. I regret purchasing anything from this store. And the worst part is there is no remorse or sympathy or even an apology/ownership on their part. I will be looking into canceling this order and getting my money back.

While the Waldorf, MD store is nice, the customer service and service department is lacking in &"cust service&". I am a strong believer in word of mouth advertising and referrals which I have done for this place until this recent purchase. I will contemplate ever buying from this or any other store associated with this franchise based on the outcome of trying to get the couch purchased serviced. We purchased the &"GBS Protection Plan&" and are getting a run around with them standing behind their &"service plan&" after barely a month of our purchase and a defect in the couch. After various attempts and still working with the local store to get this resolved, we are still trying to get the service dept to do their part. I felt it was worth creating a Yelp account so I could post this for those contemplating not only shopping but considering the protection plan.
This store including the manager Mac don't give a crap about the customer. Visited the store before I actually purchased the furniture (before Labor Day) and was helped by Mac. I found a couch online that I wanted to see in person. When I told Mac what the price was online he informed that they could always sell items at the same price. He ran the numbers and the difference was like 300 more. I used the chat feature online and was informed that stores do match price (had credit line of 1k a difference of 125 and couldn't pay the difference on my debit card and couldn't do it over the phone neither, I had to go in store). Spoke to Kitty (who was absolutely wonderful) and she was able to get the difference down to 198. I was delivered the wrong furniture on the 14th (purchase was made on 08/24/2019). Then informed by one of the associates at the store that it would be another 2 weeks before the furniture even got to the store (not even delivered to me). I asked that the delivery be rushed, they couldn't do it. I asked for the delivery fee to be waived, they couldn't do that neither. Sent an email to corporate nothing but an email saying basically since I bought in store I needed to call the store. Store gave me a "corporate" number. How didn't do anything but talked to the manager who is willing to give me a 50. 00 gift card after the delivery is made. Said they are well within their timeframe of 2-6weeks. I will never buy anything from this store or this company ever again. If you value your money and honest sales people don't go to this because they will try to over charge you (name of the game I guess) and then deliver your crap wrong. And make you wait just because they can. They can take their 50. 00 and shove it. They will never get another cent out of me (a single mother of two with no living room furniture).
I shopped the Waldorf Ashleys this weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They worked with me to accommodate my needs.
Customer service was great however the handling of prices was very discouraging. We went in with an item we found online. The associate found it and quoted us a ln excellent price. When we went to order and the price was 5 times as much. We were not told the peices were separate prices. Then we asked for the online price to be matched. We're told that we can request approval by the manager but we would have to have the shipping cost included in the price even though we would be picking it up at the warehouse. Very deceptive pricing and marketing. Do your research before comming here!!!!!!

Very pleased with the service we received at this location. Vanessa greeted us upon entering the store and she was fully accessible when needed...with no pressure! She is just so lovely, pleasant and patient and was very helpful throughout our entire shopping experience. My husband even really enjoyed it and shopping for furniture is definitely not his thing, but he had some fun with it. Great service even though the store had a steady flow being it's labor day weekend. Also received some unexpected extra savings once we got to the checkout desk. All in all, we enjoyed our time in the store and are very excited to receive our new furniture this week.
Had a wonderful experience made possible by the guidance Herby provided. He was extremely knowledgeable not only in the product I was interested in, but in several other alternatives and options, all in different price points. By far one of the best customer service experiences we have EVER had! After a very long day of furniture shopping, Ms. Vanessa was a breath of fresh air and a true gem. Her kindness, warmth, extensive knowledge of their products, and her attention to our needs and the small details spoke volumes. But what stood out was the way she took her time and care with us!! We arrived at the store after 8:20pm and left after the store closed. She and Shiaka never once rushed us nor did they make us feel like we were an inconvenience!! These women were beyond warm and beyond friendly. These women weren't just focused on the sell, they took their time with our order and ensured we knew the Ashley experience was unique in a great way because of their service and great products. Service like this is RARE!!! And much appreciated!!
Custumer service was very unprofessional over the phone. No one had any answer for me about my order, i was tranfer to numberous answer machine and when i called back people was laughing in the background. I have been lied too and mistreated over and over again. Even when i went to the store to speak to management i was told just to deal with it. I would never shop there again, and wouldn't prefer that anyone else would.
I am very frustrated with the store in Waldorf. I have been down to that store several times to return a sectional that would not fit in my living room. I wanted the pillows from the sectional but I was told that everything had to be returned. I purchased six pillows at the cost of 300.00 a month ago. After numerous call to inquire when my pillows were coming, I was told that they were order but had not been received at the warehouse. I have ask to speak to the manager several times and was ask for my name and number and that he would call me back. There was no call back from the manager At this point, I don't want the pillows anymore since it has taken this long and the customer service was terrible. I was told to cancel my order I would have to come all the way to Waldorf again and I have a sick husband who just came home from the hospital have emergency surgery. I am very disappointed and frustrated with this store and there policy. Now they want me to leave my sick husband and come down there again. At this point I would never recommend Ashley furniture to any of my friends or family.
I wish there was an option for ZERO stars! They do not deserve any! I made a large furniture purchase at Ashley Home Store 5 weeks ago. They told us that delivery of our furniture would be between 2 to 6 weeks. They told us this numerous times and it is written on our contract. I have called every week to check status. The expected delivery to the warehouse date got pushed literally every week with all items being in the warehouse other than 2 specific pieces. Well here we are and they have less than 1 week to get the delivery to me within the contracted time period. I was told that they now will have all pieces in the next day, but now a piece that originally was supposed to already be in with my order will not be in for THREE more weeks. They couldn't schedule my delivery until the other items come in and then would schedule another delivery for that last piece that they already were supposed to have. They won't schedule delivery for the other items until they come in. . . and they likely won't have a delivery date until next week (outside of the 6 weeks). I asked to speak to a manager. I was on hold for a while before being told he would call me back when he got done with a customer. After an hour I called back and finally spoke with him. He essentially blames me! He says that there is fine print that says it is really 2 to 8 weeks. He admitted that they never mention that in store and that they do quote us at 2 to 6 weeks, but '75% of customers don't care when we have a slight delay because they know these things take time'. When I asked why the piece was missing that was supposed to be already with my order he says 'sometimes they will take things from one order to fill someone elses!!' When I said that was ridiculous. . . how will anyone ever get their orders filled on time, he told me 'you may be an organized person, but you are living in a disorganized society and cannot expect society to live up to your standards' are you freaking kidding me?!?!?! He will not help me at all to at least get delivery scheduled. He says I have to wait until tomorrow when the other piece comes in. He says I should be happy that they are offering to deliver that last piece as a separate delivery for free when it gets in because 'most people would be ok with that and happy to get free delivery'. He also told me that most people don't try to get free things out of them. I told him I didn't want anything but what I PAID FOR!!! He says I will get a $50 gift card. . . I don't want a gift card. I will never purchase from them again. I just wanted the furniture I paid for. Yesterday, I called back to see if the piece they were waiting on was in. It was. Rather than schedule delivery which would put us out past the 6 week window I was given, I told them my husband would just come pick up the furniture. They told me that wasn't possible as the charge was over $2,000! Uh. . . yea but it is mine since I paid for it. I asked to speak to the manager and he wouldn't speak with me. I said that I would instead like a refund since they refused to accomodate me at all. They told me we would have to drive the hour to the store just to get the refund, but I cannot drive there to get my furniture. I was told I had to call corporate. I call corporate and explain what happened. The lady tells me that, while the managers 'delivery of the message' was wrong, what he was telling me was not wrong. so. . . basically, Ashley furniture is disorganized and customers should just be ok with that. She says I cannot just pick up my furniture. She also says that I will be charged a 30% restocking fee if I cancel!! At this point I asked her what corporate's responsibility was? Are they supposed to help the customers when the stores are treating them poorly? I asked if customers were supposed to just accept when the store doesn't hold up their end of the deal? I then told her that I would be reaching out to the Sheriff's department and asking them to escort me to the warehouse where I would pick up the furniture that belongs to me as I have a receipt showing I paid for it. Ashley Furniture is holding it hostage. At this point she put me on hold. She came back to say that her manager told her that I was right. That, because I paid for the furniture in full, I was allowed to pick up my furniture. I do finally have the furniture minus the one piece that is still not in yet. Nothing has really been done at all to try to rectify the situation. The store and corporate do not care at all about how horrible they have made the situation. I was the person who had to try to come up with some sort of resolution and they even tried to prevent me from doing that. I also had to pay extra to pick up the furniture as the weather was bad so my husband rented a u-haul for the day to get it. It should be interesting to see how long it takes for me to get the ottoman that I paid for. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER shop at Ashley Home Store!

My salesman was outstanding! However, at checkout there was a problem with the price I was quoted. The GM was extremely rude and disrespectful to my salesman. I felt extremely uneasy. The GM didn’t handle the situation professionally or with courtesy to me the customer as I was standing there while he spoke to my salesman as if he were a child and not a colleague. As I stated before my salesman was extremely kind and helpful but I will not make further purchases from Ashly Home Store.
Even though we bought our couch online from Ashley's when we visited the store beforehand we had a great deal of informed help.
I was looking for a bed frame and decided to visit Ashley Furniture Store. The moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by Herby, a salesperson. I explained what I was looking for and also showed him a few pictures to give him a better idea of my needs. The customer service I received from Herby was exceptional! He listened to me AND he took the time to look at the pictures! He then said I have a couple of frames that might work for you. Well, needless to say, the very first bed frame that he showed me was my first choice. It was exactly what I was looking for. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely ask for Herby again when I go back to buy my son's bedroom furniture. Matt, the store manager, was also helpful when I asked about mattresses. He spoke with Herby about what to do when I come back to purchase the bedroom furniture. I will definitely recommend Ashley Furniture. The store atmosphere was welcoming and customer-friendly.

I saw a sign saying 50% off furniture at ashley furniture in waldorf md. Wanted a sofa for a small room,but had not pursued it much. Soon as I walked in I was greeted with friendly faces. Was greeted with a salesman name James,told him what I was looking for color and price range. We went on his computer for visuals and walked around the store. I end up making a purchase with an affordable service plan. There was not dredge no pressure no nothing. I paid cash and can expect my delivery in two weeks. Smoothe transaction went so well I was as little stun because of previous experience in other stores. There was no hounding. I appreciated my experience there and will be a regular customer for furnishing needs
If I could give less than a 1 I would. The sales person took forever pricing each item. At least 3 times Called me to attention when I was on my phone, I was there with my dad, he was buying not me. When we tried to leave because it had been 2 hrs and my dad was hungry, tired and in pain the salesman ignored my father's comment about leaving and turned to me to ask what I told my dad to tell him. Stating he was with us for 2 hrs and his manager was looking at him and he was doing his best to give us a good price. I will never shop there: prices are outrageous and their sales techniques are abhorent.

After about two weeks they started to unravel, I immediately contacted the store. Being dissatisfied that I am experiencing this within just a few weeks of purchase I felt that I would rather have a different type of bar stool. Therefore went I spoke with the repair shop I expressed this concern. After about a week and half after the initial conversation with Yancy, I called back because I had no heard from the store. At this time I was told "oh my manager has been out and will returning on Monday", wait. . . . you mean to tell me that only your manager can make this decision and in his absence no one else has the capacity to make this decision, mind you he's been unavailable for two weeks! 2. ) After the managers return it still takes about three weeks to get an answer of "no you can't exchange we can only replace the piece that is messed up". . . . wait again I had to wait one month to hear this dumb mess. 3. ) Now, at 8 am on Tuesday morning there is a supervisor, not the manager (that was not available during the extended leave of the manager, what good are you, ma'am) onsite when they tell me I can't exchange. This crazy lady tells me that she is corporate; corporate is right here in the Waldorf location. . . . . bye Felicia! You are independently owned and operated but you are NOT ASHLEY FURNITURE CORPORATE OFFICE/HQ. 4. ) What ever happened to customer service, why would I not write this review, what would make me want to purchase again from Ashley, what gives you the right to compare yourself to Ethan Allen or Bassett, you not even on Big Lots level at this point! I'm not asking for my money back, I'm just asking for a different set of bar stools, ones I would have more confidence in, hell would knows I may have spent more money on them. Believe me I'm not finished this will go as far as it needs to in order to see results as I read that this is just one of many many complaints from customers spending there money. And to boot, the girl that I spoke with YANCY, from perspective of your co workers you never do your job!
Vanessa provided excellent customer service. She took the time to show me the items that matched what I was looking for. She compared the store prices with online prices and the handed me o er to another great employee named Shiaka who finished my sale.
I’m new to the area looking for a few pieces and the store really lacked in all areas of satisfaction. No customer service. No sales rep on the floor. No prices on majority of pieces of furniture on the floor. No thanks!
My experience with Waldorf Ashley store was the worse ever. I highly do NOT recommend shopping there or giving them business. They do not care about their customers or your concerns. My sales associate was awesome, but from the manager to the finance counter, attitudes and customer service was at its worst. I went in recently to look for a few furniture pieces and was greeted by a very friendly sales associate. After my daughter and I picked out some items, we were told to go to the check out counter where I was handed a lap top to apply for credit. I given wrong info about the credit program so when filling out the questions relating to this program and I asked for clarification due to discrepancies; there was one person using the computer and kept telling me to hold on. Meanwhile, I continued to navigate my way through this application still uncertain about its information being said in comparison to what I was told by manager, sales rep and customer service rep. All 3 said different things regarding the program SNAP financing and the first 90 days of credit. It was frustrating. I felt it was like the “bait and switch” the young lady on the computer never really address my concerns or questions, and the manager obviously didn’t know what he was talking about and was giving me the wrong info so when I was expressing how I felt and concerns. He got defensive and told the sales associate to just let it be and let me go who was genuinely concern and was trying to help resolve my concerns. I ended up walking out and leaving the store after the managers comments not even trying to resolve anything. So Ashley must have plenty of business to not take the time to address any of my questions or concerns. After all I’m just a paying customer who was trying to give them business. So I left and called SNAP to ask all my questions, they confirmed that I was given the wrong info and clarify all my questions. Since I really liked my sales associate and felt bad for his coworkers attitude - I really wanted to give him the commission he deserved, so I went back into the store again and told him I really appreciated his friendly and professional attitude and that I would continue to purchase the items because we really liked him. We also discussed what I learned by talking to SNAP in comparison to what he and others were telling me. We were ready to make the purchase and go after 4 hours of being there already. This once again proved to be a challenge. As I was checking out, a very nice, friendly and helpful lady by the name of Kitty was the best. However, she had an extremely hostile, rude and arrogant coworker sitting beside her who was giving me a hard time when we were talking about delivery dates and fees I had to pay. Let’s just say, she caused me to once again cancel my sale and leave Ashley’s for good. I continued to ask her for her name and she refused to give it to me and told me to leave her store and don’t come back and stated she had 3 jobs and can do whatever she wanted with whatever attitude she wanted to give. Neither Kitty or my sales associate would give me her name, so I wash my hands of the whole thing and just left. Never again will I ever shop at any Ashley store. We then walked our selves to Value Furniture and made the purchase there using Snap credit card and there was no application fees or any fees like Ashley wanted just for applying. It was refreshing and easy as eating pie. Thank you Value Furniture for saving the day. On another note, my daughter’s applied for advantage credit at Ashley and was approved but when they tried to use it at Value Furniture they were denied, upon checking into further - Ashley’s customer service rep changed it from approved to denied. Luckily, the manager at advantage from Value Furniture was able to figured that out for them. I’m still appalled that Ashley’s furniture treats their customers that way and allowed this take place. Shop there at your own risk, verify what they tell you and be prepared to pay extra for application and delivery fees too.
I had an amazing experience at the store in Waldorf. Vanessa and Shiaka made the experience a very quick and pleasant one. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for friendly service and a great deal.

Extremely disappointed in this location. We shopped online since our home is roughly an hour away, I had everything I wanted picked out and my total was $5,142 in my&"cart&" on the website. I called the store just to see if we could receive a military discount and was informed we could if we came in to order, and they said for the month for Memorial day they are giving *free* home delivery if over 1700 bucks, plus we would get the discount and they would price match what was on the website. My husband went to the store and was working with an older man who was very kind but a bit slow at his job but he knew what he was doing, though the wait was long and there was barely any customers in sight.Well, we were quoted $6,200ish from this store, and they did not have everything in stock that we wanted, the manager told my us that he just gave us a blanket discount for all the items instead of price matching, to make it seem like a better deal. However we found out it did not include 700 bucks worth of stuff i had in my cart online (3 items). The excuse for the 1,000 bucks more and missing 3 items was its part of the home delivery, yet it was waived. They had no excuse why the price was more. My husband left very upset. Why tell customers you will price match and offer military discounts if you dont? $1,000 more to get the items in person and it didnt even include all the items. Such a rip off. We are reporting this to corporate as well. False advertisement, and lying to customers.
TL;DR, All Ashley's aren't the same. avoid this one. This Ashley is unlike any other we've ever shopped with. The in store was fine. Our salesman was nice, however, he discounted our product to benefit him. He included the GBS protection plan at no extra cost - which means he could have discounted even further, he was just looking to boost his numbers. We ordered the product, and it was delivered about 6-8 weeks later. (We live out of zone; this wasn't a surprise) When they delivered it, the guys were very, very nice. However, our armless recliner was bent and it wouldn't recline. They couldn't leave it in our home, because it's "not what they do". So they took it back and we had a partial sectional. This wouldn't have bothered me, except when the warehouse called me, they said they had to send it back to the vendor, so regardless, they couldn't resell it and we could have kept it so we could have enough seating for our Christmas guests that were coming. They ordered a new one. Another month-ish goes by, and we get a call that it's ready to deliver. So we set it up and they come and deliver it. They set up and assembled everything, we signed, they left. Once they left and we started using the couch, we realized they didn't actually assemble everything because nothing was connected except the chaise to the armless. We then had to spend the better part of a hour trying to assemble everything because it was over stuffed and the pieces wouldn't connect. We decide it's not worth it to complain because we fixed the problem. Less than a month later, we notice that there are three springs sticking out of the wedge, and a piece of wood is in the back of our reclining chaise. We called the store and they said that customer service had to help us, but they'd send our information along. They said they don't usually respond within the 2-3 business days as they should, but they'll be in touch. I believe we waited a week or two and called again, and finally someone called us back a few days later. The rep said that she was going to send someone out to inspect the furniture (even though we had sent in pictures), and that they would be in touch with us within 2-3 business days. Again, we waited a week or two and called back in. The person who answered the phone redirected us to USQ(the furniture repair company.) to schedule the visit. I called USQ and they couldn't find any record of us in the system. So i called Ashley back and found out USQ couldn't find us in the system because they don't service our area. So instead of calling us, they deleted our work order and no one actually let us know. The person who helped us on this phone call was incredibly friendly, and worked to resolve our issue. However, the resolution to our issue was that they had to pick up the broken pieces, bring them back to the warehouse to repair, and redeliver them. They couldn't tell me how long this would take, as it depended on "what the tech found when he examined the pieces". This would leave us with two recliners, a console, and a disconnected armless piece in our living room. This was an incredible inconvenience, not to mention the high risk of damaging the pieces by passing it through that many hands. I opted to talk to my husband and call them back. We had decided we didn't want to risk the pieces being damaged again and going through this whole process once more, so we asked if we could just take a discount to keep the pieces as is. The person who answered the call couldn't give me that answer and had to pass my information to yet another person. I have never heard from this person. This was quite a while ago, and nobody has ever contacted us. We are now stuck with a sectional that is subpar. We comment on how awful it is a few times a week, and we truly regret buying it. The customer service department has never called us to follow up, and I think they're just hoping we forget about the problem. We have a few more rooms to furnish, and we love Ashley, but we will go out of our way to never buy from this location again.

We unwittingly entered the store about 10 minutes before closing. Vanessa was patient while we shopped like we had all the time in the world. Three other staff members also patiently waited while we made our decision. They were all professional and courteous and we never felt rushed. We are extremely pleased with our experience. We will definitely ask for Vanessa the next time we shop!
This location in Waldorf is great. I walked in the store and this lady named vanessa helped me out. I couldn't make a decision on a couch that I wanted. I picked out a couch and she did all the paperwork. While she was doing the paperwork I went looking around and found another couch. She asked did I want the other couch instead and I said yeah. So she did the paperwork all over again. My point is that she had patience with me.

By far the worst place to buy furniture at... still have never received all my items from August 2018. The manager mack is a liar! Promise to make my order right after my sales person ordered the wrong items told me to wrap up the chairs and he would have them replaced with the correct ones but then changed his mind... a lot of items were delivered damage and have been trying for months to get stuff repaired with no luck. Almost everything we bought has already broke or fell a part and we are still missing one night stand that they kept my money on and refuse to deliver. Not to mention it will take almost 2 months from the time you order to get your stuff. Very poor customer service I have emailed and called over and over and apparently the stores are individually owned and corporate can&'t do anything.

I started my experience with Ashley with a HORRIBLE TRIP to the one in Capitol Heights, which was close to home, where I was asked to pay an extra $100 for a bunk bed set but the salesman, an African accented guy with Blue Glasses Frames, I remember that because blue is my favorite color, couldn’t explain to me as to why. So the next day I called the Ashley’s in Waldorf and spoke with a VERY NICE SALESMAN named Herbert (Herby) Tice. Not only did he make the phone conversation pleasant but I chose to take my business to Waldorf after the initial call. Once I arrived at the store on Saturday, my IN STORE EXPERIENCE WAS MARRRRRVELOUS!! I had finally got to meet Mr, Herby and he was more fun in person than our phone interaction. To top it all off, my interaction with Ms. Renee, when it came time to pay, was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I HIGHLY recommend the staff and service at your Waldorf location. Not to mention when I got there, Mr. Herby gave me an unexpected discount. Man what great service will do. To begin at Capitol Heights for a HORRIBLE experience, only to go to Waldorf to be treated with SUPERB SERVICE!! Thank you Mr. Herby and Ms. Renee!! You guys ROCK!!

Let me first say that every other experience I have had at this store for the past 4 years has been amazing! Today my husband and I were shopping for bedroom furniture and other pieces. We took our time looking and discussing what would work best for us. When we got to the register our sales girl Alexis(who was great) told us the total which was out of what we wanted to spend at this time. She said she would speak to the manager Mack. Mack then begins to ask us where we think he can take money off and stated if we remove this and you get a cheaper mattress then you can save money. He also then stated "you have been in the store over an hour, you should know what you want". He also began to give Alexis a difficult time. He made us very uncomfortable and frankly ticked me off. This experience has made so that I do not want to go in the Waldorf Ashley any longer.

Going to be reporting them to the MD attorney generals office for fraud. I got a flyer announcing a 60% off sale. I looked online and found a table I liked that was $599. When I got to the store, the table had no price on it. The sales person checked and told me the regular price was $800 but with the 60% off, it would be 3 something. So I asked him about another table and while he was checking the price, I looked it up on their website -- Reg $3 something, sale priced $184. sales dude comes back and tells me this is also an $800 table but with the 60% off it would be $3 something. So at this point I busted him. He tried to tell me internet prices are lower because you have to pay shipping. So I pointed out to him where it said shipping was free. I told him you all are jacking up the prices and then making people think they are getting a good deal by getting 60% off. I asked to see the manager. Sales dude went over and talked to the manager and told us he was too busy to talk to us. So hopefully he will have time to talk to MD consumer protection, and/or the attorney general's office. I have documentation to prove what I am saying. It is not right to do this and unless the customer checks the internet price they probably have no idea how ripped off they are getting.
My experience working with my salesperson, Nancy at the Waldorf, MD location was absolutely fabulous. I know that most times sales people are overly friendly because of the commission, however that was not the vibe at all I got with Nancy. She was the consummate professional and gave me time to browse until I had questions and needed her assistance. She took her time with me until I selected a living room set that I totally love. As long as she works for Ashely Furniture, she will be the only salesperson I will work with. Nancy, thanks for a wonderful shopping experience!
Alexis was very helpful when my husband and I walked in looking for specific furniture pieces we had seen online. She showed us the pieces and brought us a measuring tape so we could measure for our new home. She was friendly and patient with us. She was able to get us the price-matching deal from the website prices. The process of buying was not as long as buying a car—thank goodness! We had a good experience at Ashley in Waldorf.

I purchased a toddler bed/mattress on 1/13/19. When the items were delivered on 2/18/19 I was told the steps to the loft bed were damaged and that customer service would contact us. I contacted the store and was rudely told they were too busy to take my call and that I would have to contact the corporate office. The corporate office told me I would have to wait until the store created a new ticket before I could get a new delivery date. Finally, we get a new delivery date (3/6/19) and the that morning we get a call that the replacement steps were damaged again and that customer service would once again contact us. I contacted the store to request a refund and they told me I had to contact the corporate office. The corporate office told me they couldn't do anything without talking to a manager first and that she was not available. The customer service at both locations are unprofessional and rude and I am getting nowhere. I have a bed I can't use because we don't have all the parts and no one with this company is willing to help resolve this problem. Save yourself a headache and don't purchase anything from them!

The worse delivery schedule experience i have ever had. STILL WAITING FOR THE DELIVERY! The sales person never checked to verify if i ever received the furniture. Worse still they even told the furniture was in their ware house and if i could pick it up.
Vanessa was very helpful and as friendly as they get! When you walk into the door, ask for Vanessa! I highly recommend her. She helped me find what I was looking for. She was very polite and I felt like I walked out of there with a new friend! I'm excited for my new furniture and I plan to go back to buy a couch soon. The woman at the desk in which I checked out was not friendly to her coworker at all, however she was ok with me. It's not ok to talk poorly to a coworker in front of a customer. That is very unprofessional. I felt bad for the person. The woman was very rude and it was uncalled for. I work for Congress and if that happened around here, the person would get fired. It's unacceptable. It was a little awkward to hear her speak to her coworker like that. I almost wanted to step in and say something but at 8:30pm I had a long enough day. Thank you Vanessa! Recently purchased some dining room chairs from Ashley Home Store in Waldorf and worked with Alexis King who was amazing!! We typically go late to find what we're looking for so we can avoid the crowds and sales rep hassels. Alexis gave us a flyer and sent us on our way and she followed the sale from start to end ensuring we got the right discounts, ensuring the manager understood our needs and ensured we got as close to the price match as possible for the online deal!!! We found the furniture set we liked and took up their offer for free delivery. We advised them to have the delivery service call one of our cell numbers 30 minutes in advance so we can get there because we have to work and can't just sit around for 4 hours waiting on delivery. Well apparently they ignored those instructions and tried to deliver anyway but left a message on the home phone (even though it was evident we were not home at the time) advising the truck was there. They left. Calling delivery service back they advise that it will probably be another week before delivery. Just great when you have a disabled child who sits on the furniture that we had to move in advance. This place is terrible, their financing is 29.99 % with a $35 late fee. If this isn't predatory, what is? It's fine to have a product but if you have piss poor delivery service and can't follow basic notification instructions, the business is a failure. Last time I will deal with them. Go up to the Regency warehouse instead. Update of 02/21/19 - They finally got the furniture delivered but in the process their truck ran over my neighbor's yard, leaving a long, deep tire rut as they turned onto the roadway. They obviously knew since they hit their brakes before taking off, leaving the damage. Yes, we have pictures and security video showing that they, in a Marlo's truck did the damage. And now we find that the furniture has a fairly noxious odor to it. We are hoping that will dissipate sooner than later.
I was at this location during the President's day sale. My salesman James was great and very helpful. Went through found what I liked and he worked with GM to get me the best deals and discounts. Checking out did seem like they were short staffed in this location. But things went smoothly financing my purchase. My mark down is due to the GM. I believe his name is Mack and he was very unprofessional. From my time in the store he treated his employees like children and had a very condescending tone.
Update: Returned to Ashley for our bedroom set and were helped by Alexis. She was wonderful and helped us so much! We had many questions and she was extremely knowledgeable. Mac helped us at the guest services desk and was also very helpful! Previous trip: My sales person was Bonnie and my customer service rep was Tammika. Both were incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire process. I had to switch from pick up to delivery because of a health issue, and Tammika was able to help me switch, and get me a discounted delivery price! Had a great experience and would absolutely go back again in the future.

This is an update to my purchase from 6 months ago when I gave Ashley (1240B Smallwood Dr, Waldorf, MD) a 5 Star rating. For some reason, I can’t add comments, just a new review. Horrible, customer service, rotating management, and inferior products. After our purchase, our furniture was delivered. Two hours after the delivery our reclining sectional was stuck in the open position. Ashley refused to replace and sent out a technician; it took two months with one recliner stuck in the open position before they shipped out new electronics and replaced them. Brand new, two hours old and we couldn’t use half of it for two months. Second, we bought a dining room table and chairs. The table top started peeling. We called Ashley to no avail, never a returned call as promised. We finally had to use the insurance we purchased through Ashley. Again, a technician came out and said it had to be replaced. We were told one week and we’d have resolution and a call from Ashley furniture. We never received a call, no surprise there. My wife finally reached them 3 weeks later and they said the replacement was approved. Now they call and say the table is at the warehouse and we need to pick it up in 14 days. If we want delivery and insurance, we can pay again. And it’s our responsibility to get rid of the damaged table. The store manager called two nights ago and said we should have called them instead of the insurance-we tried on multiple occasions. He then was very short with my wife, did I mention he called, and said the store was closed and he still had customers. He said he would call back the next day. Again, no surprise, he hasn’t called as of 12 Feb 19. Ashley should be ashamed of themselves. We spent close to $5K. We will never shop at Ashley Furniture again nor Regency Furniture since they’ve bought out Ashley. Again, worst customer service. The manager did say he was happy we received a new table, but we should’ve let the store handle it and we should’ve bought a different table since the other sounds like it’s defective.
I went into the store to cancel an order placed 2 days prior because the salesperson did not communicate the correct sales price. Instead I ended up having a verbal confrontation with the GM, Mack who was ill mannered, uncivil and threatening. After being told that I didn't want to engage him in a conversation he continued with his verbal disparagement and walked from behind the counter in my direction while continuing his rant. If he represents this company, he could benefit from customer service training as well as de-escalation techniques as his conduct was hostile. If Mack's antagonist actions are reflective of this store's leadership, then look forward to bad business practices.
Ok, so we went looking for family room furniture. We left the store and came back this past weekend 02/09/2019. We selected our furniture, and we asked specific questions. Our sales person out right lied. He told us a price for protection of our furniture, but as soon as we get to the service desk, it was almost double. I was like, that not what you just said, he was like umm yeah its not $200 it was like $400. Now why didn't you just tell us that initially. He wasn't the friendliest and the whole attitude of the place was nonchalant. Asked questions about cancellation, got the information, I called back today, because I found something better that I liked table wise. I called and she states you have to come in, I was why when I asked about cancellation, the person at your desk, checking us out said we could call as long as its within the 72hr frame without getting a restock charge. So she puts me on hold to get a supervisor, to tell me the same thing. I didn't want to come here in the first place. The furniture is subpar to me, but I let my husband pick the furniture out this time. Why!!! I wanted to go to lazy boy any way. . yes I'm petty because they are super duper unprofessional .

Like others, I also had a HORRIBLE experience at this store with the manager, Michael and sales associate Demorris. My husband and I just moved here and we're looking for a couch. We found one we liked and came back to the store to purchase it. I pulled the couch up online and it was much cheaper then in store. Demorris explained that they could probably price match it but that we still had to pay delivery even if we were going to pick it up. I asked why that was. He then said let's go talk to a manager and he'll lower the price for you. We get to the desk and Demorris asks the manager to lower the price. Immediately the manager, Michael starts telling me that I am trying to scam the store and that Ashley needs to pay their employees. He then looks at my husband and says "and he's a military man and knows what work is". ( I can't make this stuff up!!) I told him I'm also in the military and that I wasn't looking for an argument we just wanted a price. Michael then proceeds to raise his voice at me and tell me that "he was a marine" and managed a bunch of me. He continued to scream and pound his fists on the counter. I then told him I would be calling corporate and he told me that he wasn't going to sell me anything anyways. Avoid this store at all costs!!!
i went in looking for a marble coffee and end tables, to fine out that what i really wanted was ceramic tables, thank to the help of my sale associate who showed me the different in them both, and i purchase all three pieces at 50% off the original price, wow was i happy, can not wait for them to be deliver, this was my first time going to this store, yes i will surely go again. Thank you Ashley for your sale associate who gave me his full attention from the beginning to the end of my purchase.

Loved the experience with shopping here. I received great customer service and had lots of help from my sales person in choosing the right living room set for me. Unfortunately the items were out of stock but didn’t take more than 2 weeks to arrive and were delivered to my house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Beautiful furniture but....I walked in, walked passed the counter, sales persons standing there, didn't even get a hello. Walked around to look at reclining sofas, found one that I liked, sat in it checked it out, No one ever came to see if I needed any help. Saw another customer and asked him if anybody worked there and he told me they were all at the counter except for this young man moving furniture around. Walked out, no interaction at all.

Still will not respond!!!!! Horrible customer service! Still waiting on either a refund or the rest of order from August! Missing a $400 nightstand that still wasnt available after 6 weeks of waiting for delivery... Incorrect items where delivered the manager said to wrap them up and set them aside and he would send someone out to pick them up... Never happened! Our bed is broke... My son's bed drawers have never worked... And bolts have feel out of the sofa... The manager "MAC" refuse to return my calls and have trained his employees to lie and say his not there!
Great selection, high quality furniture. But you will have to wait 6 weeks for delivery. NOTHING IN STOCK. Management in store are rude and not professional. Blatantly lied to us and called us liers. DO NOT RECOMMEND
My experience is great, associates are helpful but when I was at the cashier the manager was rude to new associates, to the point that he doesn’t care if others customers hear it. 🙁 unkind heart, he needs manager training!
I really can't say enough nice things about this location. Was not pressured at all and did not make a purchase as I was getting some ideas and prices together...and felt like I was invited back when I made up my mind instead of wasting the sales guys time in other stores I visited. When my house is finished remodeling, I'm know who's getting my business!

I went to visit my Grandma out of state and realized she needed new furniture. We went to Ashley Homestore and met the sweetest salesman I have ever encountered. Justin did not try to take us to the most expensive place in the store, he actually asked questions and found out exactly what we needed. I highly recommend that you go see that nice young man if you want honesty.

Came in one weekend with my wife to buy a new recliner for our living room. One of the employees named Justin was extremely helpful and set us up with this very nice recliner. We love the purchase we made and the service that was offered. Definitely will do business again with them in the near future.

Went looking for a couch to buy. Now, coming from a 23 year old I'm used to being ignored in places like this, but this was different. It took almost an hour and a half for someone to even talk to me. Even then, he didn't help me find a couch that work for me or anything. He just told me to let him know when I was ready. Everything went smooth until the house was actually delivered. When they put it in, they pulled my cable out of the wall and didn't even mention it to me. When I called about it they told me there was nothing they could do for me and to contact my cable company. Not great service but I do love my couch!
Had a problem with a return. Sam the manager owner doesn&'t return calls. Neither did our salesman Mr A Patel. They do not follow through at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
The worst service department. Bought 3500. 00 of living room furniture and the foot rest on the recliner snapped 3 weeks of owning it. Purchased extra warranty and are getting the run around. It is still under the one warranty. It has been 2 1/2 months and we have dealt with 5 different people now.
