The furnitures are nice but the service is terrible. Management lied about delivery date and when I went back to the store they assured me they would call me back and never did. Had to cancel thanksgiving because table didn't come in on time.

went in store (9-30-25) to see what options we had that they would have on the floor compared to on-line. We walked in it wasn't busy but the sales associate Bryan N was our first employee to introduce himself. Very friendly outgoing persona. After about 30min of looking Bryan did what he could to help, but it was a complete bust. We did end up ordering the set that we wanted in the store, on line because it was just that much cheaper to do it. Even thought its on back order until November, we still look forward to getting it and still had a great experience in store as well.

I do a lot of line shopping because it's hard to find employees who are willing to help in stores. Great sales team, but delay after delay made it a nightmare. They are selling items they do not have in stock. Unless you do not mind waiting a month for you furniture, go somewhere else.

Can't review the furniture quality. My wife and I walked in did a complete circle around the store. Two sales people were on their phones and another was writing. We're never greeted or ask what we were shopping for. We walked out.

My husband and I Went to Ashley furniture in Dartmouth today. I've been looking for a new recliner for about 3 weeks now. I saw one at Ashley's last week the salesman Isaiah was VERY helpful explaining all the details. I wanted my husband to see the chair so today was the day. Isaiah was busy with customers, another man approached us who's name is Adam who just so happened to be the store manager, Adam chatted with us until Isaiah was available. I walked in this store , I was looking into furniture and happiness, I was sipping on some Faygo imported out of Michigan and I step into this store I was really impressed by the sales people and as I was going throughout the store I met the sales manager Adam, You can tell he's very passionate about what he does and who he does it with! very passionate indeed!! I Bought The Altari 2 Sectional With Chase & Pull Out Sleeper Bed & With Delivery & Warranty It Came To Just Around 1,800. I Was Very Pleased With The Price. Upon Delivery, Set Up Was Super Easy & My Living Room Looks Gorgeous. Not To Mention Its One Of The Most Comfortable Sectionals I’ve Ever Owned. My Sister & Nephew Slept On The pull Out This Past Weekend and Although My Sis Said The Mattress Was A Little Thin She Still Found It Comfortable Even With A Toddlers Foot In Her Face. I Will Definitely Be Getting All My Home Furnishings With Ashley. 100% Satisfied!!!!!

WARNING DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!! Worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. We bought 3 pieces of furniture from here in november: a dining table, couch and chaise lounge. First, the dining table was delivered DAMAGED, with scratches on the top AND the best part was they used wood filler that was different color to fix the scratches. So they knew it was damaged, half-ass fixed it and sent it out to be delivered to a customer who paid full price for a new one. It took a month and a half for them to finally replace. After 2 months of having the dining set, a guest was over our house and was scooting his chair in while sitting at the table and the chair leg broke off. Embarrassing to say the least. It took another 3 weeks for them to send a replacement leg. Finally, after a month of having the couch, guests were sitting on it and the couch completely caved-in in the middle. When we were inspecting the damage, we noticed that they had installed the chair leg in the middle so that it wasn’t touching the floor so there was no actual support in the middle. This happened in January and they have still done nothing to repair the couch or replace it. Even after numerous emails. It’s embarrassing that our Wayfair furniture has faired better than what we have gotten from here. It was such a mistake to buy furniture from them, I have never had such a horrible consumer experience. Save your sanity and do NOT buy from this place. Such a scam of a furniture store, you might as well just throw your money into a blender.

Worst experience of me and my wife's. I went in there several times trying to purchase 2 more pieces of furniture to replace 2 pieces of a sectional manager. Never get return. My phone calls when in several times would not buy furnishings, would not my phone issue from this place ever again. My wife had gotten a credit card with a huge limit. She canceled it she can't stand that place and she will never buy furniture from there Again

We had an amazing experience in Dartmouth this past week. Me and my wife were looking for small sectionals and a mattress . The new manager Mike Kimbrough was very informative and beyond helpful . We had a bad experience last year here so it was great to see someone new making things right for us . Probably one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Purchased a beautiful sofa paid in full at the store & was quoted 2 weeks for delivery. At the 3 1/2 week mark I had to reach out to the customer service myself who said that it had been ready to be shipped from the warehouse for over 2 weeks. But there was a hold placed on my order. They told me someone would reach out within two days to schedule the delivery- it took over a week for someone to even attempt to find a 3rd party to make the delivery. The 3rd party which they hired refused to make the delivery once they arrived at my home saying it wouldn’t fit. I went back to the store and personally measured it again later that day and it absolutely would have fit. They made me wait an additional 3 days to go to the store and manually process my refund. No word from the manager to even resolve or apologize for their laziness. I now haven’t been able to have a living room for nearly two months and happily took my business to Cardi’s.

Ashley store in north Dartmouth is a terrible store to buy furnitures. They selling broken furnitures and saying they won’t take it back or getting a refund. The store manager also hang up on your face. So be careful with this Ashley store in Dartmouth.

Do not order from this place I waited 3 weeks for the movers to deliver and when they got here they said they couldn't get the sofa or love seat in my house. Mind you me and my wife both moved a sofa and love seat out the day before now we are left without furniture for who knows how long. I am beyond furious!

Junk! 1900 for a couch falling apart after 8 or 9 months and no response from their service people. Told us 7-10 days 21 days ago. My last couch lasted 18 years and it's still being used. I've already reached out to you twice at this email and corporate headquarters who did respond but no one has followed up!

I was looking at one that was okay but didn’t quite meet my specifications - my salesperson Sam H was very helpful and guided me in the right direction to the one I ended up purchasing. Quick, easy, and based on the sales experience I would purchase here again!

Ashley is by far the best furniture store in the area. Sam was not a push salesman and very knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful unlike the salesman at Bob’s store where the salesman was arrogant and pushy. So I recommend everyone go to Ashley over Bob’s any time and see Sam.

Don't buy furniture from the Ashley's store in Dartmouth mass When there is a problem with a factory Defect they do not want to replace the furniture They want to repair it in your house. My husband and me spent over $5000. 2 pieces of the sectional. Were Defective they sent a technician to the house He stated on his report that the furniture was defective. The ashley store Lied and said he wrote something else on his Report, and that's why they were fixing the furniture and not replacing it. After speaking to tri-county furniture repair company. I found out that this was not the case. Ashley furniture will not replace furniture if it is defective. They want to fix it in your house. Do not shop here. You can get the furniture cheaper online or from a different furniture company who will stand by their furniture. Because they don't and don't even pay attention to the response to this complaint on Google because they send out a generic response saying thank you for your comments. Please send your information to us and we will get back to you. We have reached out to them several times and all they do is give the run around that is exactly what they will do to you. We have already contacted the better business bureau and the federal trade commission on them our only hope Is that they will go out of business. So they don't do anything like this to anyone else. Because they are clearly doing this to others if you read their reviews you will see that They do not stand by their furniture or their customers.

That which does not kill us makes us stronger. I had a good experience with this store. The road was somewhat rocky because the furniture I ordered was defected, again…that was through no fault of the store. After an assessment of the furniture (once it was in the home), they were kind enough to take care of the issue and allowed for the furniture to be returned. I then had to choose a replacement set, with the help of Diamond this was an easy process. I chose the set, and Deb handled the financing. This proved to be a little complicated because various steps had to be taken and the financing had to understand the quagmire that Deb was faced with based on the previous order and the re-selection. There was an issue because there were various levels that had to be addressed. This is where things got messy. I was given invalid information from an outside resource which made me act in an unflattering manner. Deb immediately addressed my concerns, which maintained my mental homeostasis. Deb was helpful even though my Cape Verdean attitude reared its ugly head, I was wrong for this. I wanted to thank Deb and Diamond for their help and I am sorry for the mass confusion! I would recommend this store. Obrigada.

What I experienced there was a 30 to 90 day wait. For delivery my mother is 87 years old and has no couch for 3 weeks now would not shop there again they said they have been calling for a delivery date but no one has gotten a phone call from now just got off the phone with them terrible customer service terrible delivery step up your game our delivery date now supposedly is October 4th which is over a month away my poor mom this is the worst furniture place I have ever shopped at and never again good riddance and thanks for nothing very bad experience you are going to end up like Blockbuster Video what kind of furniture store only delivers 2 days a week? None!

Friendly staff

We ordered a dinning set from them 5 weeks ago and it was a 3 week delivery. When the table arrived, it was the wrong set. So we called the store saying that they delivery the wrong dinning and they ordered a new one for us. Well it came in today and not only are 2 chairs missing but the men who carried the table in were completely reckless and scratched up the wooden floor.

Went to the North Dartmouth store in search of a quality, reasonably priced lift chair for my Mom. Jen worked with us in showing what they had available, as well as answering all of the questions we had. We bought the chair that ticked all of the right boxes, felt we got a very good deal, and also felt that they were genuinely caring in what would work out best for us and Mom. Very pleased with the store and how we were treated. Highly recommended.

***WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS…. Made it around the entire showroom yesterday with my family without so much as a hello. It was slow in there and they just looked at us. I don’t want to throw around the R word all loosely but who knows the salespeople never greeted us to figure out why we were there. We ended up leaving after standing around waiting for 15 minutes. It’s cool though because all the couches on the floor felt cheap as hell anyways.

Bahhh, everything in here is a 2 month wait. Only deliver on Wednesdays and there booked for most Wednesdays. My furniture was delivered on the 8th to the store and they can't deliver to me for two more weeks. Kind of a joke especially at the prices.

Had to edit my original post ,I have purchased several items from this store and this store is great when there is no issues with delivery of furniture but when there is damage they are a pain to deal with. I purchased an ottoman that I had delivered to the store and was picking up. When I got the ottoman home it was severely damaged luckily I was able to bring it back and have them order a new one. About a month goes by I call to get a status of the ottoman and from what it seemed like, they didn’t even order a replacement and blamed the warehouse for having issues. It took a whole week to just get a simple answer and everyone I talked to when I called that store acted like they didn’t know what was going on. But when I threatened to put a dispute on my credit card magically the ottoman was at the store the next day. Lastly when I get my “new”ottoman home I noticed all the scratches at the feet and a stain on the fabric. They didn’t even get me a new ottoman this is definitely a used ottoman. I am done dealing with these people and I am just take the loss but I will never recommend them and will never come here again to finish furnishing my house. I will be doing business elsewhere.

The store was great but after the sale my table was delivered damaged, a chair wobbles because it’s not square and CS refuses to respond to emails or phone calls. If you get something here don’t allow the delivery team to run out the door without giving you a chance to look over the product 100% because once you have it they won’t help you. I will never purchase from Ashley furniture again.

Prices were crazy, Even for black Friday. I received a flyer in the mail about how mattresses would be discounted and since I need a new mattress we stopped by here. The mattress selection was very small and none of them were very comfortable. The two salesmen that came over to check on us were great and very down to earth. At every mattress store (Besides here) the salespeople were almost breathing down our neck, Here they were very chill. I did ask about the mattress sales and they said it really depended because each brand did a different sale but we were told it wasn’t much. We didn’t like any of the mattresses anyways, Went to mattress firm instead and purchased everything we needed.

We love Ashley furniture and we're looking to replace our couch of 5 years (bought from a non-ashley store) and were excited there was a full store close by! Diamond was very helpful and patient with us as my husband and i spent 10 minutes deciding left or right facing 😂 so excited for our couch to get delivered! Large selection for us to sit on and see in person to feel like we did our due diligence.

Diamond greeted us as we walked in and let us take our time to look around. After we did our initial walk through she asked if we were looking for anything specific and was able to show us exactly what we had in mind. Absolutely Terrible! Manager Steve and his Sales Staff were horrible! Purchased bed! First mistake was lied to it was in stock! Then delivered “white Glove Service” dented scratched the wood and ripped the canvas on my bed! Then never told me the day of purchase the headboard was a separate purchase so I was “Sold” on a complete bed that I was never getting but then told later I can purchase it now! Customer service is a complete joke and so is the manager of the store! Rude and has no empathy but all was well when they took my debit card! The worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my entire life! I would not recommend this furniture store nor this staff!

The experience at the store was to be expected,they are trying to sell items and are eager for a sale so that did not bother me. I purchased a sleeper safer and I was very clear about the size of the opening to get into the house. The sales agent measures the couch and says not a problem our movers are great. To make a long story short they destroyed the corner of my newly renovated living room and put a small 3 inch tear in a 1500 sofa. After several phone calls and over 2 months later they fixed the couch but refuse to offer anything for the damages to my home.

Rawad was so helpful and honest with choosing the right size furniture for my space and measurements. Not to me mention Steve, their GM, was there to also help with pricing. Great selection!!!

Kim the office Manager and Mike the Store Manager were very helpful, friendly and not pushy. I have to give Ashley Furniture big credits for not hiking prices before a sale... The price I saw in July 2022 was the same price in September 2022. They were having a huge 30%off sale. Other places hike the price and then call it a sale when they give you a discount. There is a 6-8 week wait period for furniture. I am Keeping my fingers crossed it's not longer. If I get it earlier, that would make it the ideal experience for shopping at Ashley Furniture.

I have been doing a lot of research on couches over the last few months and kept coming back to the couches at Ashley for price, quality, and the 5 year warranty. I went into the Dartmouth store to look at the couch I had been eyeing online and was greeted right away by the friendly staff. I was able to look around without pressure from the salesmen, but also knew they were close by if I had a question. I fell in love with a different couch than I had gone in to look at and went back a few weeks later to complete the purchase. I ended up being helped by the general manager and the financing person, Deb, was great too. If you’re in the market for some new furniture definitely check them out!

Mirror was 139.99 and was damaged I asked if they had another one sales man was very professional garret but when he brought it up to his manager they found out mirror was miss tagged and then came back with 30% off so basically employee discount was the best they could do for a damaged mirror and it was miss tagged manager said the only way we could get more of a discount is if we bought more sorry Garrett for your manager losing you a sale very good Service from you though keep it up tho your very respectful and helpful very nice Service from you and when he came back the price was $209 so $70 more lol managers need HELP and if you wanna get the mirror it’s cheaper to buy on the website for 189.99 or Amazon for 187.99 free shipping

Unreasonable sales tactics and bait and switch pricing. Wanted to purchase a sectional and came across a mirror. It was advertised for 139.00, after the salesman looked up the item it was online for 299.00. Note the item was a floor model and was damaged. Our salesman was professional however he went to the desk manager regarding the pricing issue, he came back with a price of 210.00 reflecting a 30% discount. 70.00 more than the advertised 139.00, and damaged. The management which we didn’t interact with wouldn’t honor the 139.00. It was noted the “discount” is based on sales history and the more you buy the greater the discount. After my experience I will not be purchasing any furniture here and will make sure to not recommend this place to anyone. All they had to do was honor the 139.00 advertised price that was affixed to the damaged item hanging on the wall. Too bad they lost out on far greater sales in the future. Hopefully the sales management will learn and will gain experience from our interaction. Honoring the 139.00 was the right thing to do. Wonder if they give you the runaround if you actually make a purchase.

From the time I stepped in the door, a sale's man followed, even after I told him if I had any questions I would gladly get him to help me. I was actually very interested in a few pieces. But everytime I looked up he was right behind me. So instead I left and am purchasing elsewhere. He was very creapy and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I will not be back or recommend Ashley to anyone.

Walk in the door and am greeted with an extended warranty pamphlet. Tell the salesman I'm looking for the recliners advertised online, taken directly to an overpriced pos. Won't be back.

Stopped in on 5/29/22 to look at Recliners. Sandra was helpful in showing me different units and also was ready with a tape measure when I wanted seat heights. today 5/31/22 I returned and asked for Sandra, who again was patient with me as I checked overall height. Made my purchase and she wrote up sale and explained when approximately to expect delivery . Julie made it quick work of payment and made sure I had all associated paperwork. Very good experience.

Sandra has done a masterful job getting us to buy a nice couch, which we didn’t really plan on buying during our first visit to her store. She was not pushy, instead she was very informative and professional. We planned on paying cash for our couch, but when Sandra informed us about the snap program that allows us to buy the furniture we wanted and pay within 100 hundred days, that’s when she really earned my business. And when I saw her tirelessly going above and beyond to show my wife everything she wanted to see, including trying out a mattress that my wife was interested in, at that point I made it my priority to make sure she gets paid for doing an outstanding job. Sandra’s customer service skills are excellent and unparalleled to anything I’ve experienced before. This is the first time ever I’m spending time writing a review for or about someone. And I only do it because I believe Sandra is a real asset to Ashley furniture. My husband and I have been looking for counter stools forever. Stephanie our salesperson was very attentive and went out her way to help us find what we were looking for. Came here a few times and had my ups and downs. The two managers (mike and Steve) were very rude to me. Will never be coming here again workers are very nice but everyone else isn’t. It’s sad because they have really nice stuff in there , a bit pricey and the managers are to stuck up.
