the furniture was great, my issue is the sales staff are straight liars. from the beginning, they almost ordered the wrong color furniture, then they had all my information wrong like phone number, address, glad I caught that. then we realized they completely forgot an item. to add to the frustration our delivery fee was supposed to be free but then I seen the charge and had to go back and fight to have them take it off. the salesman also assured me we could had a headboard to our new frame, but he lied, we had to pay extra for that which he never told us. then as far as the 0% intrest went for my order they only applied that to part of our order. we will never return, and definitely will not recommend this crooked sales staff. total joke, issues every step of the way. oh and the 3 to 5 week delivery time actually was 8 weeks. all I get after these problems was tough luck. do not shop here

Purchased a $800 recliner within the first week it started squeaking. And ripping in the inside of the chair They told us that there was a process for them to fix it before they would replace it I told him that I wanted return this chair to purchase a more expensive chair Joan led me to believe that they would do this now. I have a $800 chair that has been half replaced. Do not buy Ashley furniture. It is not quality furniture.

Tony greeted us at the door and was very helpful in pointing us to the right direction to find what we were looking for. He checked in often but was never pushy or overbearing. We ended up purchasing a sectional and Tony was very knowledgeable about the product and patient.

10/10 Do NOT recommend! I purchased a couch 2 years ago as well as an additional 5 yr warranty. The finish on the headrests of the couch are now wearing off. I contacted the warranty company "Montage" & they inform me that this is not covered as it isn't accidental damage--unbelievable! They then graciously pushed me off on the store to try and get some resolution. After several conversations with the warranty company and the store they both just point fingers back & forth at each other & refuse to take care of the issue. I was told that the sales manager "Christian" would call me back multiple times and of course that call never came. Now I'm left with lots of wasted time & a couch that looks as if it has been drug down the road by a truck all due to no fault of my own. Do better Ashley Furniture & Montage and to any consumers considering making a purchase from this establishment, avoid at all costs unless you just enjoy throwing your money away!

Took me back and showed me the three that was available for manual recliners. Told him about a site thst I applied for ..for 6 Mos 0% interst for 6 months. He told me about another one they use. He got right on snd had me qualified in minutes. It required a call and he was right there to help. I got qualified in no time. So overall no long wait etc. I wish they had more selections for the recliner I was interested in, but guess 3 is good enough. I spent 10p$ for delivery over 2 yrs ago. Just thought 200$ was alot! I just don't like bothering people to help me. So going to pay that! Know it's a 3rd party comp. Overall, if I get the recliner before my surgery in 4 weeks I'll be happy!

I was initially unsure about ordering from Ashley’s “Outlet,” but I must say, Corey, our sales representative, and the entire team were fantastic. We were able to call for updates and didn’t experience any delays throughout the process. The delivery service from M+V Fast Delivery USA was top-notch—five stars all the way! There was one piece that arrived slightly damaged, but the team was quick to notate the issue and inform Ashley’s. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely consider ordering from them again!

As we arrived at the store an employee named Brandon, assisted us with our shopping needs. He was very knowledgeable about our product, and even had another employee alert us of another Great deal, of a similar item. I unfortunately forgot the name of the other gentleman, who told me about a Clearance recliner chair for $50!! Yes a recliner for $50, we were extremely happy with our purchase. And we also had 2 guys wrap the items, and packed it for is FREE of charge. Thanks and Happy Holidays

We bought an overly expensive sectional sofa/head board/matress. I truly don’t mind spend extra money if the product is good, but for over 12k spend and every is falling apart in less then a year is crazy, oh but they sell you on “it has a warranty” but what they don’t tell you is Ashley’s wipes there’s hands with you as soon as they get there money and send you to some random warranty company who you sit on hold with for over and hour and they don’t wanna do anything for you. And to top it all of we thought we got luck and was about to get Wendell the main manager when buying our furniture but in reality he’s just another con sales man over the past year I’ve called and left multiple voicemails with him haven’t heard back once. As of one year later, matters itself is still doing alright, the fancy bed frame and head board fell apart so bad we go rid of it and the couch appears like it’s 10 plus years old because it’s so broken down, absolutely the worse experience buy “high quality furniture” for a claimed to be “high quality company” You be better off going to Walmart at least they will actually hold there warranty and call you back

Dante was the best! So patient and you should buy your furniture from him only!! We went in early this week to buy a couch and he set us up even though we couldn’t come back till Saturday he was there and immediately helped us!

First time shopper looking to replace 3 worn chairs. The showroom was large with a fair amount of furniture on display. Salesman Izzy introduced himself and let me browse at my leisure. Was taken by surprise when I was asked to have my driver's license info scanned as I was buying furniture, not liquor! I refused the license scanning request but provided all the info necessary to fill the order. Two of the chairs I ordered needed to be backordered so it took 1 month before the order was finally delivered a few weeks before Christmas. Customer service was helpful in providing me with delivery tracking and details. The delivery went very smoothly, the driver called ahead and was right on time. They were courteous, efficient and professional and I was quite pleased. The chairs I purchased are of good quality and well worth the price paid.

Steve at the Flint location was a very personable and knowledgeable salesman. I actually went to store farther away and drove past one other Ashley’s just for his customer service. So for him I give 5 stars for his service until came time to deliver the goods. I visited Ashley furniture earlier today to see what they had. Found what I liked and decided after checking a couple different stores to go ahead with purchase at Ashley. We called to get exact amount due and asked if we could pay over phone due to being 35 minutes away from store, was told not possible, so then asked if we could come in and pay for items tonight and pick up tomorrow was once again told no,. So long story short made trip to purchase said items and pick up. Got there , after talking to them 30 minutes prior to find out don’t have items in stock and distribution center was closed for night so have to drive beck tomorrow for loveseat and not sure if sofa is in stock anywhere. Not best experience since spoke with them several times today about what we wanted and was never told they didn’t have any. Only mention was when asking about matching recliner was told they only had one of those in stock.

Ashley Store randomly spam-texted me, asking for a review - so here it is. I’ve never visited an Ashley store. It appears either they bought my phone number from a list, they’re random dialing, or they misdialed. Regardless, I am on the do not call registry and am reporting the violation.

Dante was very helpful and knowledgeable. Not pushy, but helpful at just the right time.

Furniture selection was good, staff was very helpful, and Black Friday pricing made the purchase possible. Very smooth.

We may not have purchased from her but both my husband and I appreciate how helpful and willing to listen she was. They had a wonderful selection at this location as well. Sales person was terrible. Not helpful at all. Said end table was not in stock. Told him I called the burton store and was told it was. He finally searched for it and found it. Then wanted to charge me $50 for assembly for the matching coffee table i ordered. I told him the burton store told me $35. I wanted to walk out the store because of him but didn’t because I wanted to take the end table with me. He was not helpful or very nice at all.

Decent store but DO NOT DEAL WITH A SALES PERSON NAMED JOSH. What a scammer. He comes across as all nice and pleasant but he ended up lying to me. I bought a chair from him and after it was delivered it didn’t look right in my room. I called him to tell him I wanted to return it and pay the 20% restocking fee. He told me they don’t have a program like that and that I had to keep the chair. I called the store manager and he told me that that wasn’t true at all and that I could return the chair for a 20% restocking fee. He couldn’t believe that JOSH LIED TO ME. He just didn’t want to give up his commission. Anyways, save yourself a lot of trouble and deal with anybody but JOSH at the Flint linden rd store. I’m sure I’m not the only one this little scammer tried to screw over.

This store has a great selection with a wonderful staff that doesn’t make you feel pressured. One of the better stores around. Brandon Keen is a great salesman.

I'm a disabled vet and I was disrespected from the moment I walked in. I'm only giving one star because I can't give 0. We were there for a power lift recliner. We went to the central service desk where there were no fewer than five people in that desk none of which acknowledged our existence, except for a nice lady who was on the phone with another customer who told us that she'd be with us in just a moment. She directed us where to find the recliners and a salesperson begrudgingly helped us. They only had two models on the floor but the salesperson said they had more I guess in the back or wherever it is they hide things. We asked for a chair with a cup holder and he just looked at us like we we're crazy even though we know that those kind of chair does come with cup holders because my dad's chair does. He basically just pointed at the chairs and said I have this model and this model if you have any questions come find me and he went to go do whatever it is that sales people do when they don't want to help people that don't look like they can afford to be in the store. After sitting in the two chairs they had we went down the road to Binson's medical and dropped 3000 on a chair. I will never set foot in any Ashley's furniture store ever again for any reason. If you wanna go somewhere to be disrespected and looked down upon by your appearance then by all means go to Ashley's.

Would not recommend Ashley Furniture. We were shopping for 30 before any salesperon asked if we needed assistants. I explained I have issues with my neck and back and need chairs with a straight back. We purchased them. We were told we could pick them up the next day. We drove 30 miles to find there was no employee available to assemble the chairs to come back tomorrow. So we went back the next day and one chair had a Crack in the backof the chair. Thomas and Will exchanged and assembled new chair. Took chairs home and tried sitting in the chairs. The chairs are OK for my situation. A week later, giving time to adjust, called and spoke with Izzy stating the chairs are too tall for my table and i cant sit right to the table,my grandparents handmade table. Unfortunately you signed a contract that stated no returns. I feel if Izzy would have gave me time to read the contract I would not have bought them. That is ridiculous to have a policy once the furniture is in your home you can not return them. So now we are stuck with $600.00 chairs plus 4 old chairs. The assemble employees were very nice and helpful.

Tony greeted us when we entered the store gave us space to look around with no pressure to buy. Finally we settled on several pieces , gave us sale prices . SUPER cheaply made furniture. This living room stuff is just about two years old and every coffee/side table we purchased from Ashley is peeling, dingy, and if we could afford it would be replaced. Do yourselves a favor and save a pretty penny by going to Bobs Discount Furniture. Quality is just the same, if not better. And they are WAY more affordable. Everything we’ve gotten from Bobs has held up ten times better than anything from Ashley’s! We furnished one living room with Ashley furniture, another with Bobs discount furniture. Bobs discount room has been used way more than the Ashley room , and has held up 100 times better!! No issues or complaints with Bobs furniture. We also purchased a Marble table from Ashley’s, it came covered in scratches and had to be refinished. I was never satisfied with the final result either, but didn’t want to go another few weeks in my new home with no dining area so decided to bite my tongue and deal with it. Not to mention, a couple days after having the new dining table and chairs we had to have someone come out and fix the chairs as they were falling apart at the base and were dangerous to use.

Had a great experience today with Josh as our consultant. No pressure allowing us to shop while he was still around for questions. We had a warranty claim on our existing furniture that was covered well and the store worked with us to pick out new furniture. At this point I would only buy from Ashely because they did what they said they would. They stood behind the their products and the warranty company was great. Our salesman Lee was very knowledgeable about the furniture and made the buying process easy. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and our situation to get us into furniture that fits our household (adults, pets, and kids included). Ashley had a lot of financing methods, explained them all thoroughly, and, even when a human mistake was made, they corrected it immediately instead of experiences we have had at other places, where I have been told it would take a couple of days to correct. Now we are waiting on delivery, but the timing seems to be shorter than our experiences at their competitors.

First of all, I just love Ashley!!! Whenever I need any type of furniture I always check out Ashley first. I was at our family reunion in Illinois somewhere near Iowa. We crossed the state line and there was an Ashley Store! We immediately went there. Of course I couldn't buy anything huge, but I HAD to buy something! Just to say I was there! When I recently made a purchase in Flint, I noticed the colorful sofa that was displayed! I was very excited to see a color other than beige, white, brown, or Grey! Keep up the good work! I have already told others about it.

My husband and I went to Ashley Home store looking for a living room set. Hafiz greeted us as we walked in and was very friendly! He asked questions about what we’d be looking for and helped us find the perfect fit. After looking at a few different sets, we were able to narrow it down to the perfect blend of a pet friendly, scratch proof, comfortable sectional. He helped us with the order and getting a good deal on the delivery based on the items we bought. In the past, we’ve dealt with pushy sales people at competitors and difficulty with getting product because the manufacturer stopped making the item we selected. Hafiz made us feel comfortable and didn’t push on add ons or anything we didn’t want. Will definitely go back for any furniture needs.

Clueless and lack of accountability. Yes those are the the prime words for my experience with this location. I ordered a media stand online. It was then delayed past the date we needed to receive it by. I called and spoke with headquarters and it was a foreign speaking person who had very broken English. I asked to be transferred to a US based location. They transferred me directly to this store. I spoke with the “ Manager” whose name was Mari. He assured me that the price i would be paying was $619 which was mush lower than the price i payed online. (Roughly $1350). He said they couldn’t lower the price anymore because i was already getting a great deal. I was very happy to hear about the $700-800 we would be saving. Mari ended the call with “Im the manager and thats the price you’ll be paying. When the stand was delivered i waited for the charge to go through beacause with credit cards they tend to pend for 2-3 days. Once the $1400 charge posted I called the store back to inquire about what we can do to adjust the price that the MANAGER said I would be paying. They transferred me to a different manager who apologized for the “miscommunication” as she proceed to call me “Hun” and say that there is nothing that can be done. With in home deliveries the return window is very short so im basically out of luck. After talking to Shawna and being called “Hun” which was extremely unprofessional she then said she could attempt to call headquarters to see what could be done. Now over a month has past. I have left her 3 separate messages and she has clearly been dodging my calls and messages. Im sorry but when someone says im the manager and thats the price you’ll be charged thats what you expect to see on your account. Very convenient for them that the return policy passed, they are unable to adjust the price and they also offered zero solutions to attempt to correct THEIR MISTAKE. There is zero way to email corporate and they will never get my business or anyone I knows business. Utter lack of accountability, communication and professionalism. Dodging phone calls for weeks and offering no solution is totally unacceptable.

I originally left a 5 star review and unfortunately feel the need to update how this experience went for me. Let me start by saying the positives as the manager Quinn really tried to fix things as much as he could for us but of course something are out of his direct control. Dee from the delivery truck was fantastic and made sure to make me happy, and Adam the delivery manager was a true life saver who was determined to help us get this over with. When we came into Ashley’s to look for some new furniture being mine was destroyed during the moving process, we were so upfront with the sales man Izzy that we could not wait for items they weren’t able to deliver asap due to a expected arrival of a newborn baby in April. Izzy showed us many things that we would have preferred to buy but the wait time just wouldn’t work, after helping us find some things he assured us would be delivered in ONE to TWO weeks at most we left so happy that we decided to come back in and purchase the rest of the bed room set. We were assured that all items would be delivered by 3/19 and they would not be floor models this was important to us do to a prior purchase a few years ago where we paid full price for floor models after waiting over 4 months for arrival. When the 19th rolled around and I hadn’t heard anything about the delivery we decided to go into store and see what was going on. No one had an exact answer on when i would get my items except that it would be a substantially longer wait. I spoke with Quinn for the first out of multiple times we had to go into the store the get answers, Quinn tried his best and i do have a feeling most of the errors were due to other employees throughout the company. I expressed my stress of needing to put the baby’s clothes away, Quinn then was able to get my brand new baby’s dresser delivered on its own to help with the stress of the waiting game, delivery guys were amazing assembled and were so careful not to damage anything. Then we are waiting for the rest of the close to $4000 dollar order to be delivered. Long story short in order to get the items before my due date we were forced to accept the floor models, with a $400 refund. We would have rather had new but couldn’t afford to wait any longer! Soon arrival multiple scuffs on the furniture which is disappointing. Delivery was supposed to happen on Monday 4/1 and I did not get a delivery until that Thursday. Soon delivery parts to my bed are missing, once again another issue and they cannot find the parts . Adam decided to drive out here and personally put the bed together still missing some bolts, another issue. Adam had to go purchase some from the store. He comes back and gets the bed together and was truly apologetic about everything that has happened. I would give Adam a 10 start review if possible, I even offered him $100 bill and he would not accept it , I am so thankful for him finally getting everything handled for us. Moral of the story I am truly disappointed, Ashley has so many nice options to purchase and I love to shop here but the disorganization and the misleading of my sales man and delivery time has me deciding to never shop or recommend purchasing from here again. It’s so unfortunate they commonly have issues like this! Glad it is over !

Buying our couch here was such a frustrating experience. After our salesman assured us we would receive our couch in “probably closer to 2 weeks but at the very very most 4,” and “We don’t use these Covid shipping delay excuses like the other guys,” (his words) we waited over 7 weeks. The couch seems fine, and we honestly would have been willing to wait for it had they just told us the truth from the beginning. We had to call multiple times and customer service always told us, “Just one more week!” “We will call you back with updates.” “Let me find a manager and we can talk about this.” (Etc.) They never returned phone calls—never kept their promises—and would get frustrated with us when we called them a week later asking where our couch was. If you want honest, timely service, this is not the place for you. Shop elsewhere!

My mother bought a bed room set and the lights on footboard dont work properly we have called they said nothing they can do it up to us to find someone fix it we call the company no. Witnessed terrible customer service!!! It's super unfortunate how my mother-in-law continues to been treated to no fault of her own. New furniture is suppose to be fun and exciting to purchase and I wish more than anything I could report just that. The wrong colored couch was delivered, the store manager refused to take it back when she attempted to refuse delivery. Instead she was advised to come into the store and pick out another couch because the couch they originally sold her was no longer available. Instead of asking for a refund at this time, she gave them the benefit of a doubt and selected a different couch only to be told weeks later this couch is not available and they have no definite answer as to when the couch will be available. After continuing to receive the run around she asked for a refund and they are refusing to give her money back and pick up the couch they wrongfully delivered. She still has no answers. I truly feel my mother-in-law was taken advantage of and I hope they figure out a way to make it right. Buyers beware and do your research on this place. Ashley furniture has great furniture but seek other retailers for purchase.

Do not shop at this store. Dishonest and take advantage of senior citizens. My mother bought a white leather couch. They delivered a dark grey leather couch. She tried to tell them to take it back. The delivery drivers called the store. The sales person refused to take it back. She went back into the store. The couch she purchased was sold to another person. She decided to buy another one which was more expensive. She has been waiting for over a month for her couch to be delivered. I called to see if she could get a full refund and I was told there was nothing they could do and it was out of their hands. Good luck if you buy from this business.

Spent over 5K for couches and they talked me into this stupid warranty and What do you know. I have not been able to use my couches for about 6 months and its still not fixed. Spend your money else where. They obviously do not care about their customers they just want the money.

We recently purchased furniture from the Linden Rd.- Flint location and had some issues with the newly delivered furniture after one week. We returned to the store and made a complaint. Once the parts came in, a service date was set. Two men showed up to our home to make the repairs. They were very polite, understanding, and appologenic. After we discussed the problems, they immediatly got to work. They did an excellent job! They were efficient, clean, and friendly. Ashley’s furniture is good but never buy any extended warranty from them. They simply hire subcontractor companies for taking care of maintenance and warranties which happen to be crooked companies that keep postponing and finding excuses. At the end of the day you don’t get any tangible service from them. It’s now eight months and we didn’t get the service. Lesson learned.

Great shopping experience! Freesia, my sales associate was fantastic! She was not pushy or overbearing. She listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions that would best suit my needs.

Ordered a new table and chair set. They didn’t order the base and the table came cracked. The outlet store on Lapeer Rd called the Pierson Rd store to see about getting us the floor model. Not really what I wanted but I had been dealing with this issue for hours and was over it. Lapeer Rd stated the table would be ready for us. Taken apart and wrapped and all set to go. We get to the Pierson Rd store and nothing had been done to table. They asked us to give them another half hour to do that. So we left and came back. It was wrapped but not taken apart. Keep in mind the table comes in pieces for a reason. As the table wouldn’t fit through doorways unless it was. Brandon was the manager on duty supervising all of this. When I stated it was supposed to be taken apart the warehouse guy helping through a fit. He said it was to hard to take off the 8 bolts required to do the job…he sat there and argued and argued about this..keep in mind its now 4pm and I have been here since 11am. He wanted us to drive 1.5 hours home and drop off the chairs and come back so he wouldn’t have to take it apart. While he is treating us like an inconvenience Brandon just keeps on letting him run his mouth. Well finally he took it apart. The table was loaded in the truck and they took the base and set it on the top of a box on back of truck. I heard my husband say “ is this broken?” To which the guy replied “ it is now that you forced it” all that was done was it was set on top of a box and the pedestal caved in! Nothing was forced! But I guess we found out why they didn’t want to take the table apart. The table top held it stable and once gone the base fell apart. I ended up ordering a new table but I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism! The entire time we were there they acted like it was our fault. Brandon and the warehouse guy definitely need some customer service skills and some training. Piss poor job anyway you look at it.

The whole team was very helpful and Brandon made things very easy and quick. I did not feel pressured in the sales process.

They didn’t have what I wanted in stock right away and I was offered something similar for a really great price. When I went back in I was thankful to get Tara again. She was so welcoming and easy to work with. I appreciate her candid personality. Would highly recommend her! Purchase was easy as well. We are waiting on delivery and will update if anything changes.

Shopping experience seemed great until delivery and set up. They dragged a dresser all the way across my hardwood floors even after telling them they were all just done and to please be careful. One bed frame had 4 out of 12 fasteners installed. Table has miss matched colored parts. Literally some kind of issue with every item we purchased. I do not like to leave bad reviews but I'm forced to try anything when I cannot get them to fix any of these issues. It's been months and I have no resolutions.

I bought a $4,000 bed set about 2 years ago and have had issues after issues with the mattresses they offer. i have had a big issue with the mattress creating divits where i lay and instead of letting me choose a different mattress, or looking into the issue further, they just sent me the same one again. So i gave the new one about 6 more months, and that mattress started to sink as well. So i talked to Ashley again, and they had me come in and pick a new one out. I had a very hard time picking one, as if the price was lower, they would not give me the difference back, and if i went higher, i had to pay the new difference. So i ended up having to take around a $500 loss to just settle with one. Now the new mattress that i have, is nice when you first get in bed, but after about 30 minutes, you will find that you sank probably 3 inches in the bed. I have just now realized that this whole sinking problem that has been going on from the beginning, is due to the cheap box spring that Ashley's sold me. There is so much space in between each board that is on the box spring, that the mattress sinks through, wherever you sit at in the bed. Now i had to go buy a piece of plywood to put under my mattress, to keep it from sinking through, and it has gotten better, but the mattress itself is still sinking some. I wish Ashley furniture would have looked into other problems further, instead of just sending a replacement, as this would have eliminated the problem a long time ago, but they told me the last mattress i got, was my final one, no matter what the case. I don't think i will ever be back at this location, or even with the company.

It's been over a month to get our purchase and every time we call they tell us another three weeks. They broke the first order and had to reorder. Since we weren't getting that one they told us we could buy the floor model and get it in two days. We called on the day we were going to get it and they said it would be another week! It's on the floor! Why can't it be delivered!
