Bob was very helpful and the service was great!
My wife and I came him to find a new couch. We were greeted by Cory, he was extremely helpful from the moment we walked in. He gave us some information about some couches, then proceeded to let us walk around the store. We got through the couches and began looking at mattresses. He walked by, and gave us a perfect run down of all the mattresses. We decided to get a couch and he was great at getting us a great price that we could work with and helped us get everything squared away. Cory was absolutely fantastic during our experience in the store. We will definitely be back to get a mattress eventually. Thank you!

I have had multiple transactions at Ashley Outlet locations and my salesman this time, Eric, was amazing. He was very knowledgable about what that had available. I was looking for furniture that my cats would not consider for their own scratching needs and since microfiber has gone “out of style” I was having some difficulty. After describing my situation he showed me a few sets that would work. The fabric on the set I bought is actually amazing he took a set of keys to it to show me how scratch resistant it is. The delivery team was fast and professional and even put on the felt pads I bought to make it easier to clean underneath my furniture weekly. I have had the furniture for several weeks now and Eric was correct, no claw marks! My fully clawed fuzzy fur balls and I are still living in peace with no furniture clawing. I loved my experience at Ashley’s. I went in looking for a mattress and couch left with all that plus a Cruze. Thanks to Harold I felt right at home. He got me water and helped me to realize the thing I needed the most was a nice pillow. The purple mattress pillow is amazing we were supposed to be trying out mattresses and by the 4th one I was like “yeah this is the pillow for sure anyways let’s start looking for mattresses”. I was such a fun experience Harold kept us informed and found us the best deals. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I walked in unsure of even what my budget was or what kind of bed I was looking for, but in the end, we figured out a budget, found a bed that matched my needs and laughed about how you may or may not be able to eat a Purple mattress during a zombie apocalypse.. LOVE our new sectional! Delivery and set up was quick and definitely worth it! The only small thing is I was told I’d get a call 40 minutes before arrival but instead, received one when they were 3 minutes out. Not a huge deal, but luckily I was close to home.

Please read if you plan to do any sort of business with Ashley’s Furniture! This company is extremely unprofessional the products I’ve received were damaged. I purchased a 5000 bedroom set two years ago and have yet to experience my bed put together correctly. When bed set was initially setup it was rushed and the crew damaged merch such as drawers and knobs while trying to get me to sign off without checking setup. Whenever I have patron location in past. I’m never greeted at door like I can clearly see others being greeted. I’ve browsed around the store for almost an hour before someone has even said two words to me. The staff here are definitely trained to be discriminating and to service CERTAIN customers. I was disrespected by the store manager in front of other employees that didn’t even acknowledge the incident that unfolded before them. When you call for update on the status of order delivery etc. phone lines drop with the explanation of we are working on phone line which has lasted for several months at this point. I’ve had the worst experience with this company! I’ve attempted several times to cancel my business with them I’m forced to proceed without anyone offering me any sort of compensation % off really barely an apology for my experience. I had a service for the bed to be maintenance which I had to call several times throughout the day did receive an answer after calling for 30 mins selecting different options I finally spoke to someone that couldn’t understand I was calling for an ETA on my service order. After finally getting the info during call maintenance/ service crew never showed. I didn’t receive a courtesy call or any further info on service at this point! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I urge all to seriously reconsider before purchasing from this company you will regret it!!!!!!

Ordering was easy, being told the wrong delivery date from the beginning was irritating along with multiple calls to find out when we were going to get it but we finally received it and the delivery guys were great and quick!
Corey greeted me right away. Told me layout of store and said if I had any questions just ask. Then let me shop without hovering ( I really appreciate that) Found a set similar to one I had seen in Saginaw. Corey came to find me and ask if I needed help, which I did because the set didn't have a price and everything else in the store was priced. They had just brought out this couch and loveseat set and hadn't made sign yet. He went and got price for me. It was higher than the one in Saginaw. He spoke to the man in charge and he matched the price. I bought it!! The girl at the desk also was helpful and pleasant. Great shopping experience. Hoping delivery goes as well as purchasing.
Saturday when we met Mari, he was so extremely helpful! So willing to visualize our space and help us find the perfect fit! We had forgotten to measure our home, so Mari gave us the dimensions and information and said come on back! When we got home, sadly, what we had picked did not fit so we went with plan b! We came back on Sunday and it was Mari’s day off, so we finished our sale with Bob! He was just as helpful and understanding! He got our paperwork settled and answered! The teamwork was amazing and we are so pleased with our experience! Thank you guys!!

The two that delivered my chair from Ashley were amazing! Kind right away & were willing to take my old loveseat to the street which I greatly appreciated. The chair is very comfortable, soft fabric & I love the throw pillows that came with it. Quick, kind & simple delivery!

Not the way you retain customers AT ALL. WILL NOT RECOMMEND.

Cool People quick and easy
The crew of 3 men worked well to bring the furniture pieces into our home, taking their shoes off at the door each time! They put the back on the glider/rocker, assembled the bed frame & put all of the handles on the drawers of of the bed & dresser. They got the Purple base into place & demonstrated how to use the remote to adjust it to various settings. They brought the Purple mattress in & laid it atop the base for use. They took pics of a couple small scuffs on the right foot of the bed frame & one small ding in the top white dresser drawer. I'm hoping Ashley may have a way to cover the scuffs with gray & fill the small ding with white on the dresser. They were kind, polite, careful & efficient.

I had an excellent sales person who helped me solve my issue in the most efficient and affordable way!! Didn’t just try and sell me most expensive items. They actually listened to the situation and all the intangibles that went along with it. Then walked me right to my solution. Then on top of that when the sale was completed there was some big orders in front of me so they went and got my order and helped load my car!!! It was late an afternoon Sunday and it could have gone bad real quick but thanks to my salesperson I was able to relax and watch sports!! So thank you

Purchase a living room set in February and have gotten nothing but delay after delay. With still no furniture. Every encounter with you has left with just more delays and still no furniture. Now we have an end of this month date that it is supposed to be in the store but still no delivery date. I would recommend no one dealing with you, I wouldn't recommend your store for a throw rug at this point. We came back in to try to get some answers and my husband tried to go ahead and give benefit of the doubt and asked about a chair, to which he was told it was on sale for $299. He told them we had something to do but we would be back, he was told it would be ready when we came to pick it up and was told because of the other issue with the sectional that he would cut him a deal. Some deal, now all of a sudden it isn't on sale but the break comes by getting the sale price....good thing I wasn't in there because at this point this is getting ridiculous!!! Now the other day he gets a call from you saying that our chair is ready that we can come get it now......we picked it up the day we purchased it, good thing for you my husband is honest and told you. How this store is still open with this type of care, surprises me!!! Very, very, unprofessional, incompetent, and of an amateur behavior on all involved coming from an established business such as yourself!

To be honest things were quite hectic with my couch in terms of delivery, part was out of stock. However Ashley kept in contact with me and finally got everything to us. Our delivery team was awesome, Ronald and his helper (didn’t catch his name) were respectful and made sure to connect the sectional for us. Overall happy with our purchase from Ashley and would buy from them again!

Honestly this place is horrible... ordered dressers on 12-5 have only received one it's now 3/15...scheduled 4 different delivery dates to have them canceled the day of delivery because the 2nd dresser failed 4 inspections...on the 5th delivery now canceled again 15mins b4 delivery Time starts... this place is a nightmare I will never shop thr again this experience has been nothing but horrible....if I could score it a 0 I would....

Originally I was so upset with the customer service, the lady that waited on us didn’t tell us we had to wait 5 days for a check to clear, we had someone on the way to help pick up the items we were getting so we had to come up with another form of payment last minute. Then we got the wrong chair after waiting forever to get our order. My last review “I was extremely upset Had to wait at the warehouse for 45 minutes only one person ahead of us. No one talked to myself and my son. All kinds of people not working in the warehouse, on their phones talking to each but not saying nothing to us. So upset.” One of the manager read my review and a that point I had multiple workers helping me and the manager fixed the problem with the chair. Made me feel much better about the experience. When I got home the lED light on the back of my son’s desk didn’t work so now I’m waiting to get that fixed. But today I had to pick up one last item, the customer service was great everyone so so nice. I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes, manager William remembered my son and myself, he was very kind and helpful. I was really impressed today and happy with my experience. Once I get my son’s lights on his desk fixed I will change my rating to 5 stars! Thank you

Super disappointed. Needed furniture in a hurry for our new home. We purchased February 3rd and were told there was a truck with our particular model coming February 10th for delivery to store. Today (February 9th) I called to check on the status of the delivery and a store manager called me back to tell me delivery between February 22nd and 26th. He initially stated “this is on target with the 2 to 4 week timeframe you were given”. What we were told was “we tell everyone 2 to 4 weeks but we should have it for you guys here on Saturday February 10th”. What we were told was February 10th, which the manager later acknowledged based on the “notes”. He admitted we were told February 10th and said we shouldn’t have been told that. We were absolutely mislead by the sales team. They knew they would lose the sale had they been truthful about the timeframe. Josh was our salesperson. We’re now in our new home with no furniture for weeks. Wouldn’t recommend this place due to the inaccuracy and dishonesty. They didn’t offer to make it right at all just basically told me to “relax and wait”. 👎🏼

Terrible is the only words to describe the entirety of Ashley furniture. Yes they stage it very nice in the store, but good luck getting it into your home within 6 months of "out of stock" or canceled delivery dates. WHEN....or should I say "if" it ever comes, its the cheapest built furniture you're gonna ever see. You think "oh I'll purchase the 5 year warranty"....yea. Good luck getting them to honor that. They make excuse after excuse to get anyone to your home. This is the most miserable experience and we spent literally thousands. Smack yourself in the face with a frying pan and burn the cash in the front yard...it will hurt less. Notice ALL the 5 star reviews are from people with no imagine on their profile. Fake!
Mari is SO helpful. I’d give him more stars if it were an option! Very knowledgeable, patient, professional and down to earth! We’ve been to other Ashley furniture stores and this experience was the total opposite of what we’ve had at the Flint location and Dearborn location, this was by far the best. We didn’t have intentions of leaving with what we purchased but when he showed us the adjustable base we knew we had to have it. Being pregnant has been very hard on my body and this is going to help out so much! Give this man a raise because he more than deserves it!

This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had a furniture store. We purchased a couple paintings and an ottoman. When we cashed out the clerk (Aliyah not sure abt spelling) was rude and appeared disgusted when we questioned why the 5% military discount only came to $1.50 on a $450 purchase so much so that my husband walked out because he no longer wanted to deal with her attitude. The cashout process to purchase (using cash) took us over 25 minutes. It was absolutely ridiculous. The sales person Chrys was nice and apologetic for the cashier's behavior, but I will NOT be back!

BEWARE!!!: I went to the ashley outlet and picked out a couch cause I love Ashley furniture. After running my credit report twice without my permission he said sorry we have none in stock and it won't be available for a month. I needed a couch so I left and went somewhere else and got an ashley couch with no hassle or pressure "unlike the Ashley outlet". So a week later I get a credit card from Ashley outlet which "I DID NOT APPLY FOR". I called the credit bureau and filed a fraud report. Then I opened the second envelope and there was a purchase on the credit statement that I did not purchase. I will never go there again. They are fraudulent and no one has contacted me regarding this experience except for the fraud dept. Thank you Fraud dept. For taking care of Ashley's crooked employee trying to steal my identity. He should be fired and if I had a choice, yes I would press charges. I know exactly who it was and he's still employed there probably ripping off other customers! Ashley yall have lost all my business and yall should be audited and ashamed for messing up a good named store! How dare you people!!!

She's super friendly, very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and won't try to oversell you. Then lastly the office lady’s were all amazing and very helpful in the process making sure everything was fast and easy for the payment process and explaining everything in detail. Also big shout out to the warehouse guys that helped in loading the furniture safely and correctly in my vehicle I believe there names was will, Anthony, Thomas, and Matt all was super helpful. Sales person, Eric, was helpfully and very knowledgeable about the bed we were looking to purchase. He was the only salesperson on the floor so he was helping multiple people at the same time. We were at the store for over 1.5 hours to make our purchase, that would be the reason for the 4 star review and not 5. Eric deserves a 5 star plus for helping as many people as he could.

The saleperson was working with another customer so it took a very long time. She kept telling us she was new and she did keep apologizing. She wrote up the wrong color so they had to do the paper work again. It was a very long process. I decided to take the couch and it was getting late. When I asked about getting it tonight she said, "If it was delivered you wouldn't get it tonight." Very bad thing to say to an already frustrated customer.

This outlet was a very good furniture store. From the time I walked through the door their staff was very helpful and very professional. Ashley listen to what I was looking for and was happy to direct me to some of the sofas I was interested in. Even the store manager stopped by to make sure how I was doing. The prices were Fair for the quality that I picked out. My set up for delivery and warranty went very smooth. My experience with the purchase of my new sofa and loveseat was great.

Ashley sales staff was wonderful. Delivery and set up great. However, do not purchase the protection plan through Montage Furniture Services. It has been over a month since I filed a claim, the repair team cancelled once and never showed up the 2nd time after I waited all day. They sent the parts to the wrong address, then forgot to send a part. Its been a mess. Would rather just buy a new couch at this point.

I had a great experience the day I visited Ashley furniture outlet. I was on a hunt for a new sectional so I decided to stop in since I was in the area. I was greeted by jay. I told jay my needs, he gave his opinion and allowed me to browse on my own not pushy at all which I loved. I found what I needed and he proceeded to tell me about a special they had that included purple mattresses. I was not looking to purchase a new mattress at all but he had me try out a few of them and also showed me his personal preferences, I was SOLD. I basically walked out with a new sectional, ottoman, purple mattress and smart base. This was hands down the best customer service experience I’ve had in a longggg time. Thank you so much Jay, I can’t wait to receive my new dream bed and sectional.

Shopping was very nice, greeted with friendly, knowledgeable sales lady, coming into the store. The furniture setup was very nice. Paperwork took time. Pick up area, spent an hour and a half which I wasn’t happy with. Great place to shop! ❤️
Greeted us as we came in the door. We told him what we were looking for. They did not have in stock. But showed us the similar fabric and style, to be able to have a feel for the new couch. Ordered what we were after. Told us he would call us when it came in. If it was not quite what we were looking for. We could exchange or refund. Did not pressure us into making a snap decision. Or a second choice of " might be ok with". Very friendly and knowledgeable.

EDIT: Things got screwed up, edit at the bottom Was searching for some furniture about a week ago, going around to a few different places. Spoke with Harold at this location who provided a lot of valuable information without it coming off as a sales pitch or pressuring us into anything. Felt pretty comfortable and while the items we purchased were obviously a huge factor, working with Harold was a large part of our decision as well. Would definitely recommend this location *edit addition* - after receiving delivery, it was clear that Harold had not really been listening when I repeatedly told him we were purchasing the 5 piece, not the 4 piece sectional. The item arrived with only the four pieces. Luckily the management staff was incredibly helpful, and it took less than half an hour to come to a satisfactory resolution to the issue. I would still recommend buying from this location, but would advise against working with Harold. While he is very personable, friendly, and likable, he also seems very distractable and prone to forgetting what you had told him not five minutes prior.

At time of purchase everything was great. Very helpful. But when it came time for warranty service well it's a different game. While still under manufacturers warranty they would not cover it. We had to PAY 50.00 for an outside service to come and work on the problem I'm very disappointed in their service and doubtful if I will ever purchase from them again. Unless they reimburse my 50.00 to me.

EDIT: First review WAS 5 stars. We went back for a second couch and had it delivered again. The delivery team was over 8 hours late -even though I got several text messages throughout the day that they were on their way. They left my door open without my consent- even after I let them know I had to put my cats away. 2 of 3 of my indoor cats got out without my knowledge and nearly lost them- I was devastated and not only did the delivery team LAUGH IN MY FACE in my own household, they left my furniture 3/4 unassembled. I called to complain and Moe (who was kind, but not his dept) stated I would get a call from the delivery manager, I have not received a call yet. Very disappointed in the work ethic and customer service. I will not be returning. Chrys was great to work with. Not a pushy sales guy. He was attentive enough to answer all questions when we needed him. Delivery was pushed out a little later than I thought and some items were a bit expensive. Check out the clearance (as-is) items, we got a new couch from the warehouse because they had extra. Great deal. Brand new love seat and couch for under $800!

Overall they exceeded our expectations. We paid about what we expected to pay but it includes a better warranty and protection plan than I was expecting, and the quality of the sectional we chose was better than what we thought when we were researching online.

Overall not satisfied. Quin (Primary) and Chrys (Secondary) assisted us with our purchases. We visited twice before sale day to speed up the process. We were told that because we completed the credit application and had all of the furniture picked out and documented that the finalization day would be quick and painless, we were still there for over an hour because the paperwork was not finished. We were told that our furniture was going to be available for delivery same day because of a immediate need to make room in the warehouse, yet now we're looking at 4-6 weeks. Quin handled most of our process and was pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and did his best to meet our expectations. Chrys was our initial salesperson, wasn't very involved with our experience, didn't seem interested or invested in our sale and ultimately passed us off to Quin. We're looking forward to receiving our furniture, and hope the rest of the experience goes smoothly.

We went in and had a terrible experience with a girl named ashley. She pushed harder than any other person in sales I've ever seen. She wouldn't take no for an answer and we weren't even saying no. We said we wanted to check out one more place and we would come back and she literally followed us up to the door saying "just give me 10 minutes to give you a price" then at the last second she said to my girlfriend, who was being more passive than I was, "give me your cell number and I'll text you later". We couldn't believe it. We were not going to go back but it was the only place to have the table we wanted. So I went back the next day and talked to Quin and it was a complete 180. He was very likable and apologized for the way the previous person acted. He gave me a better price on the table for having had a bad experience. Because he is a stand up guy I will go back there again. So if you go to the Ashley furniture store on Lapeer road ask for Quin and avoid ashley like the plague.

I'll start by saying that i absolutely hate furniture stores because the salespeople's pressure is generally worse than used car salesmen. Mari, our salesman, was great and didn't hound us through the store. We received our order way sooner than expected. Delivery guys were great and quick. Nothing but good things to say.

So looked at the mattresses and fell in love with one of the temperpedic ones I believe. They had a great deal on it to. They dint pressure us into buying it either. Everyone friendly and nice.

From the moment we stepped foot in the building a week and a half ago up until today, he provided us with the most friendly customer service we could have asked for. Nice selection but the prices were not as low as I thought they would be for an outlet store. So don't go just because you think you will save money. Just go for the huge selection. An informed buyer is a smart buyer!!!

Everyone that I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. The store was clean, well organized, and had a wide selection of products.
Mari was a wonderful help! Walking into the store, my family and I did not agree on a style. He listened to all of us, had patience walking all around the store (multiple times) and most importantly had a lot of information to share. He included all of our concerns. I appreciated him.
Adam went above and beyond in helping me purchase a new mattress tonight. I needed it tonight and the warehouse guys had already gone home so he personally brought my mattress out to me. On top of that the original mattress I wanted showed to be in stock but wasn't actually in the warehouse so Adam marked down a better mattress so that I could get something tonight.
Mari took great care of me as soon as you walked in the door. He helped me find the furnitures to fit the space that I have. He was very friendly and it was a great buying experience.

After reviewing my bill at home I noticed I was charged for 2 pillows 250 each & a 200 sheet set that I was told were gifts for my purchases. $700 I shouldn’t have been charged. Definitely not happy !!!!!!!

Visited the Ashley Outlet this week and purchased a Bed Bunky Board and some cute pillows with dogs on them for our couch. Very nice store with some beautiful furniture displays. Employee told me they would check my credit. Instead they ruined my credit with hard checks, and opening multiple accounts with credit cards I never knew about or received. I found out they existed on my credit app. I'll never go to any Ashley store after my first time experience here at one of their stores. They literally do not have a clue how to perform their job at all. I reported the fraud to both banks and canceled both credit cards I was never told once about. They hard checked my credit when told they would not and dropped my score 48 points. Just be careful with the incompetent untrained workers at Ashley. This review isn't about product quality but rather being a 0/10 on their fraudulent service.

We stoped in to look at entertainment stands and Micheal helped us right away. Although we didn’t find we were looking for, Micheal made sure we got the best customer service. He went out of his way to help find out the dimensions of our TV. We really appreciated his excellent customer service, he was truly great. As someone who works in management in retail, I know it’s hard to come by people like that and wanted to make sure he is recognized.

I bought a chair for my desk. I guess they didn’t want to open a box of a set of two in back, so they sold me the floor model for less money. The salesman never looked over the chair or offered for me to get one from the back. I should’ve done a better job checking out the legs because there’s a big damage spot in the paint. Since they sold me the floor model I can’t return it!

She was able to get us down to our price range. They even thru two new pillows and mattress cover in. Initially I gave a 5 star review and I had to change it to 1 star. Do not shop here. Delivery is horrible, and when you need help no one will return your calls. It’s been months, and now I’m out over $1300- still don’t have furniture- still can’t get my phone calls returned.

Adam was extremely helpful in finding the perfect piece of furniture for our situation. He found us a couch that was the right size, color and price, and we couldn’t be happier. He even took a late meeting with us at the end of the day to comply with our busy schedule. Everyone there was extremely friendly and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the pieces. We had stopped at a couple other furniture outlets and could find the same furniture they sold locally, online for a third of the price they were asking for in the store. But everything here at Ashley’s was priced exactly as it should be and in some cases they could even beat the online price. We will definitely be coming here in the future for our next furniture set.

While visiting the Ashley Furniture Store on Lapeer Rd. I found a beautiful Charcoal Gray rug for my family room and a canvas picture set for my basement. Bad customer service. Them people don’t know what they’re selling. Nor do they care. You won’t get helped unless you ask or are there for 3 hours walking around. Still paying for a mattress that’s been paid off 3 times. Only bought a bed on payments to help with credit. Paid it off in 6 months. 1-1/2 years later I’m still getting bills for $100 here. $68 there. Very irritating.

There was a slight error in my receipt and I didn't discover it until over a month later and the manager had no problem with correcting it and also listening to my concerns about furniture I had purchased very understanding very accommodating thank you Brandon.
I bought a bedroom set at Ashley Outlet helped by a salesman named Mari. It was delivered as promised but when the bed was put together the mattress was way to high for a 78yr. old me to get in. I called the store and they exchanged the high one for a shorter one. Everyone including the manager were very understanding. I would shop there again.

This Review pertains to the exceptional customer experience I had with the Ashley Outlet on Lapeer Rd in Burton, MI. after an awful and devastating experience at the Ashley Home store in Lansing the day before. Kelly from the Burton location took my frantic call to get a sofa that was swept from under me at the first store I was dealing with. He quickly provided several options and more. I had to make a two hour round trip to see the furniture but it was well worth it. Kelly even came in on his day off to assist me. Kelly and Brandon (store manager) we’re efficient and friendly. They did everything to make shopping at their store great. They listened, they offered options and did not push or oversell anything. They were there to ensure my needs were met. The paperwork and buying process was simple and seamless and the office staff was friendly and personable. This crew saved the day and the only reason I will continue to shop at their store.

I visited Ashley Outlet on Center rd Flint to to spend $350 of gift cards I had and was greeted by Jay and he was very welcoming and was extremely helpful and overall a great person if your looking to go to Ashley furniture ask for Jay you won’t regret it at all!! Also while checking out I ran into Mari (he was my waiter at Texas Roadhouse 2 days prior) I was unaware that he worked there and he’s also really great too! My fiance and I were in the market for livingroom furniture and after looking around at several stores we decided to drive the extra distance to Ashley Outlet in Flint and we are so glad we did. Mari greeted us at the door, asked us what we were looking for, answered our questions and let us walk around to browse without being the least bit pushy! He went above and beyond and was very knowledgeable. If he wasn't sure of an answer, he would find out. The process did take a little bit but he let us know each step we were doing. His pitch was personal and allowed us the opportunity to test multiple mattresses along with adjustable base options. Went to Ashleys on Black Friday and was greeted by Justin. I ended up getting a pretty awesome leather sofa /dual pwr recliners / heated seats / air massage / adjustable headrest. Laying back and enjoying the feel and smell of real leather. This has got be my best purchase in a long time. All those features seemed a bit much, but it is worth it. I also got a really nice coffee table w plenty of storage and a rising tv tray. Its quality constructed, fashionable, functional. The drawers slide smoothly and are spacious. Lastly a single chair which is to arrive in December. If your even thinking abut those sofas get down there and negotiate a deal w those guys n gals GO BLUE!! Thanks for the trip to Vegas

All of our questions were answered and I felt SO informed on which mattress would be the best bang for our buck, in addition to being the perfect mattress for us (side/back sleeper and belly sleeper). I would highly recommend this store, they even carried our purchased pillows out to the car for us (in the rain!). Top service, trustworthy, and kind.

As a successful insurance salesperson myself I really pay attention and am critical of every sales person I encounter. I love working with Adam and came back to him this second time because he is the opposite of a high pressure sales person. I can’t stand high pressure salesmen. He answers our questions and lets us make the decision that is best for us. Both times we’ve gone home to think about it and were not pressured into closing the deal before we left the store, and both times we came back and did close the deal, but we never felt pressured and that’s what I like the most about his sales approach

The service was great, the inside was clean. My mom bought 2 recliners only to have them contact her 2 weeks later to inform her the manufacturer no longer makes that model. That was disappointing considering she was promised they would be delivered.

Horrible experience. Took 6 months to get our furniture, after we're supposed to have it in 8 weeks, one of the pieces to our sectional came broken, and they still have yet to deliver the new piece even though it was promised in 2 weeks. Avoid these crooks and shop elsewhere...

We ordered a full house of furniture (large expensive order) in April and still have not received multiple pieces. We have called repeatedly and have gotten every story under the sun about where our remaining furniture is. No managers have ever been available to help despite repeated requests. I would never recommend Ashley to anyone.
Jay was great and gave us wonderful service. Two items weren't in yet, "They will be here in August." Called mid August... "The 2 items are in our warehouse. Someone will be calling with a delivery time and date within 72 hrs." Not narry a call. September 20 we are told, "One item has not arrived. We expect it mid October." ??
Lam made us feel so comfortable, he was knowledgeable and very helpful since I never know what I want. We got some great deals he worked his magic and we walked out very happy! Don't walk run to Ashley's furniture and ask for Lam he will hook you up!

The salesperson JUSTIN was great right off the bat he greeted my family and I. He said that he is there for assistance and said that he will let us look around and if we needed help that we can grab him. We appreciated the low pressure and go at your own pace approach, without someone down your neck and asking a lot of questions. I said that's great, but come along with us. We had the items in mind and wanted to see if they were in stock and look at alternatives. We sent him checking on multiple items to see if in stock and Justin was not frustrated and was happy to help. He wanted to make sure we were happy , so we didn't feel like we were obnoxious customers. Best experience in buying from this store . Please if you go in and someone that's greets you in not Justin, ask for him. You won't be disappointed

This place plays way too many games. From start to finish. After 2 weeks I went in store to find out what was going on they said my stuff didn’t come in but someone else was waiting on other things so we could have theirs. Not a place I will be going back to when my mattress was $3200. Then box springs. Several other issues. I would stay away and clear from them for sure. Unless you want to play games and be jerked around

The Ashley furniture store family treated me and my 94-year-old mother right. The organization itself was efficient, friendly and reasonable. Justin, our sales person, was perfect! His low-key style but calm presence, coupled with his knowledge and patience helped us get the lift chair we needed. Due to our special needs of low price, comfort, size, functional needs, and room logistics, this whole process took many months. And through it all Justin was always there, available, supplying relevant help, support and knowledge. Absolutely no pressure at all. His concern was that he wanted us to get what we wanted, and what we could afford, substantially reducing the price from the displayed sticker price. And we did, thank you Justin! Service was quick but we were told that we would have to wait almost 3 months to get our fireplace, when we looked online it said we would have it in 3 days. I asked one of the employees about it, and I was told that he wasn’t sure why it said that and it would be faster to go through the store… I literally have my fireplace 3 days later because I ordered it that night off of the website. If you don’t know the answer please don’t lie to your customers. Not sure if he didn’t know or he would get a commission off of it if we ordered through the store. While I was checking out, there was a cashier at the desk who was loudly watching videos on his phone… very unprofessional. It wasn’t the worst experience, I enjoy my new furniture, but it also was not very professional! If you are expecting that, I’d look elsewhere.

Again the worst experience and I wasted my time again for the 3rd time Some one called yesterday I believe she was trying to help me to get the table that I canceled last week ,her name is Juju , she said she will do her best to get the table for me and she will take off 200 dollars and free delivery I said ok ill try to stop by with my husband, today I went there and she wasn't there but she left some gift cards under my name but she didn't put free delivery, and when they called her she said no only the gift card No free delivery I can't believe how they keep playing this game with me ,this is unbelievable, sick of this store ,plus she said yesterday if you want the table i will reserve it for , I asked it's going to be same price she said YES And today when I went they said oh no it went up ,you have to pay 400 instead of 250 This is a joke I don't know how they run this business

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a furniture store start to finish! My sales associate is Anasia, she is incredibly smart with the best personality! She worked her magic to get me the best deals possible and I’m super happy with my purchases. If I need anything in the future, I’m going to see if Ashley furniture can help me before anyone else can. I’ve also referred all of my friends and family and they’re very interested in buying from there! Every person I encountered was super helpful. My main order is being delivered but the small separate dresser was a pick up order. I enjoyed my interaction with the pick up associates and in particular, William. Ashley seems to have a great team of associates that are willing to help and aren’t pushy sales people!

I was ready to walk out the door and take my business elsewhere. Due to the unprofessional staff members either watching videos sitting back in a recliner to another staff member saying nothing but watching me walk around the store to the front desk staff not greeting us at the door. On my way headed out the door, we were approached by a sales representative by the name of Jay. Now, he was the only one in the store that greeted us although he was working on counting inventory. Jay asked could he assist us with anything. We let him know how dissatisfied we were with the store employees that we'd take our business elsewhere. He apologized numerous times and asked if he could rectify the situation. I ended up leaving the store after purchasing $8,000 worth of merchandise. Thank you, Jay. If he wouldn't have said anything to us , Ashley's would've lost my business today!

The service in store was great. Do NOT choose to get your furniture delivered. The movers don’t speak English and will recklessly barrel through your home with your furniture. They’ll even put an enormous hole in your wall and will leave without telling you they did (they moved furniture to the basement. Then they quickly ran out of my house. When went down there there was a massive hole in our wall and even the railing had been ripped from the wall) And when you call to ask them to fix it, they will say they will not fix it and that they aren’t liable. I will never do service wish Ashley again. If I could return my furniture I would just from this experience. Thanks for my home damage!
I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture on Lapeer Rd. I was looking for a lot of furniture to furnish a new condo. Josh was super helpful getting info on every piece I was looking at and prices were reasonable. Josh also went above and beyond letting me reorganize the store so I could visualize all the furniture I wanted together and make a decision.
Best furniture shopping experience ever! My salesperson, Quin, genuinely wanted to fulfill my livingroom dream. He even enlisted the help of Ashley's own interior designer, Miss Ranee. They even asked for a pic of my dog so they could match the color and fabric to his ever shedding coat. I walked out of there feeling gratified and fulfilled that my money was well spent.
Great service. Not so great information. I was told there are two financing options. 1.) Your credit is checked for 12-month financing with no money down, or 2.) No credit check, but with down payment required and you are to pay off in 4-months. However, the only option is the first one, and you have to work with the financing company on arranging an “early payoff.” I couldn’t tell if I was being purposely duped into applying for financing, or if the sales rep wasn’t entirely knowledgeable with the information. Not to mention the paper work is inaccurate. One sheet says I purchased a sectional with a right arm facing chaise, but on the next sheet of the work order shows that a left arm facing chaise is being delivered. Little things like this make a difference.

Purchased a recliner, Justin, Jay and Haley were very helpful in the purchase, inspected on site everything looked good, got it home and found frame was warped, called about returning brought it back next day to get it looked at, kudos to the young men in customer pickup they unloaded the chair saw it wasn't right got another chair unpacked checked that this one was ok and loaded back in my vehicle and I was on my way in a half hour, I thank you guys you don't get enough credit that's what made my experience 5 star

Just ask whatver is available for delivery before you select something because some stuff takes longer than 3 months. Adam is a star there. The store is very well laid out. I did not like having our sales person switch with the Sleep expert, he didn't have anything extra to add to the sales experience. The cashier was instructed to give a discount and she missed it. It was corrected, quickly. While our sales person was going through the paperwork, which I understand is a necessary evil, he did explain that the clearance item cannot be returned. However he did not tell me that the pillow is not returnable. Knowing that I probably wouldn't have purchased a $200 pillow.

I bought a new bed with a power base. The power base was delivered defective. For them to come back and repair or replace it I have to fill out a online service request and they won’t come unless you send pictures of the issue. So they won’t address the issue until I send them pictures of my bed. After spending over $6k on a bed I expect everything to work as it should and when I stop into the store the “very next day” to tell you only half the power base works and the under bed lightings not working, you should want to take care of that quickly. Ashley has lost a good customer over the way their handling this and how long it’s taking. ***** I Do Not Recommend This Company ******

Very good experience, working with Josh at the Flint Lapeer Rd location was a very easy, non pressured experience. They let you do your own thing at your own pace while shopping around and they do check in with you every now and again to make sure you don't need anything or have any questions. Furniture is IN STOCK - 90% of the items on display at this place are ready to go home. 5 stars.

My salesman Harold was very helpful. I rate him 5 stars! The company policy I am not thrilled about. I am wheelchair bound and I tried to pay for my lift chair by phone with a credit card and company policy won’t let the buyer do it. There were several other policies the company has that are NOT buyer friendly for someone handicapped. I do not rate the company as high as my salesman.

When my Husband and I walked in The doors I was excited at first. We started moving through the store we were greeted by someone so that wasn't the issue. I sat in a few chairs as we through the store. The store was overstocked with disappointment.
This is not my favorite furniture store. You are greeted by salespersons. Most of the time, they try not to be pushing but they seem bored to death. Most of the furniture is priced reasonably but skimp on quality. If you need something in a pinch, you might luck out for a decent price here.

Adam is hands down an amazing salesman. He is worth seeking out if you visit the burton store. It is a family ran facility and my experience reflected that. My only complaint was the customer pick up could have been more organized and faster. I waited an hour for my order to be brought out. With that being said the guys at customer pick up were very polite and that carries weight with me and makes up for my wait. Overall my experience was a very good one and will bring me to stop there first whenever furniture shopping in the future.

Experience buying furniture was great. I opted to take home myself because delivery was next day and that day worked best for my schedule. Bought the furniture insurance, pricey and NOT worth a penny. Got my furniture home to find a non-cosmetic issue, the back post inside couch was loose and not secured. Called store and per manager because I took home myself, they would fix it once I brought it back in. Mind you when sold the insurance I was told they would fix at my residence. Do you think I'm going to bring back my unwrapped furniture to have this fixed? So I can get it filthy and possibly damaged in process? No. And because of this I will reconsider my purchases from here in future.

I walked into your store was politely asked by aniasia how am doing and if i needed help with anything, so i spoke with her for a few min and looked around the store. After a few she came back to see if i found anything i said yes i did!! She quickly looked up the product and said it was available!! So after speaking with aniasia for about 10 min i told her I would be back tomorrow and make the purchase!! So i came back the next day and finalized the purchase with aniasia, she is a amazing at what she does its employees like here that keep your business going she deserves a raise for all her hard work and dedication to your company.

We came in to try some Purple mattresses but he sold us on the tempurpedic proadapt after trying it. He was wonderful and helpful, and I think he helped us in making the right choice for our needs.
The people there were very nice! No one was pushy, and I was greeted by two different people asking if I needed any help.
I definitely recommend this establishment. My husband and I went in on Black Friday to look for a sectional. Josh (the sales representative that worked with us) was extremely friendly, patient with us and educated on all the inventory we were interested in. Josh and the manager worked out a incredible offer we couldn’t refuse. Needless to say we walked out extremely happy and purchased a beautiful sofa sectional. Not to mention they are locally owned!!!!

just now We purchased a bedroom set in February. We were told it would be 4-6 weeks. We never receive any updates. I call in April and I am told that it’s looking like June(ish). I call back in June and they let me know that 3of4 pieces are in the warehouse, 1of2 nightstands on backorder till October. We setup delivery for the in stock items. Order arrives: 1 wrong piece (chest) and 1 damaged piece(nightstand). At this point we are over the whole situation and want to return and get our money back. Go to the store and deal with a rude and condescending customer service rep. She doesn’t listen to what we are telling her. She does nothing to help solve the situation and make it better. So we drive to Burton where the Flint store manager, Anon, is on that day. We talk to Anon. He listens and shows understanding of our displeasure. Anon assures is he will make this situation right if we give him a chance, but offers a full refund. Tells us he has two nightstands (the damaged piece was the 1 nightstand that arrived) at a different location and will have them shipped out immediately. We accept Anons offer to make it right and take him at his word. It is now mid-October. Anon will NOT return our calls or texts and Ashley warehouse tells us that our nightstands are projected to arrive sometime in February of 2022. I am disgusted with the manner in which we have been handled. I warn anyone to avoid dealing with Ashley Furniture!

Showed me some bunk beds and mattresses. Then told me to come-back tomorrow for a sale.. when I went there they informed me they don't have the bunk bed or mattress and would have to wait 3 months because of back order...
We went on a whim to get a new mattress, little did we know we would run into Jay Malone on HIS DAY OFF! We also had April and she was great too, but she wanted to make sure our questions were answered by the expert. He did not disappoint. He knew EVERYTHING there was to know about sleep, about mattresses, about budget... Literally the best we've ever had. We hate going car shopping or furniture shopping due to the pushy sales people. He was NOT AT ALL pushy. He respected our budget, our time, and all of our annoying questions. He took his time even though he wasn't even working. We ended up with a mattress we never even thought we would walk out with and couldn't be happier. This guy was incredible!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. THANK YOU JAY AND APRIL!!

While everything went very smoothly, something has not been properly explained and the install came missing a power cord. Adam was very nice and greeted us while at the store. He helped get a discount forcthe furniture and properly explained the options for financing. Overall experience was great, but a few things could have been done better.

I came in to purchase a bed and my original salesperson was not there. Adam offered to help me if I wanted to let him. I like that he gave me the choice. I said that he could help. I knew the bed that I wanted, because I had seen it the last time that I was in. I showed him the bed that I wanted and he checked and told me that it was in stock. I did not get a chance to try the mattresses when I found the bed. Adam knew all about the mattresses and how they worked. He was extremely knowledgeable. Not my best shopping experience. We were greeted right away but then I had to track down salesman when I wanted to buy something. He said item comes with 5 year warranty. No, there is a charge for warranty. Item shown not actually available and they wouldn’t sell floor model. Purchased something else with partial of that not available until December. We expressed that we were now in a hurry due to all the back and forth and he said he’d process the sale quickly. We started to almost walk out when he was up front greeting the next customer before finishing our transaction. He was on his phone multiple times. He rushed over to say we could check out when ever we’re ready. I said he could have told us that a long time ago. Picked up the piece that was supposed to assembled and available next day and had to wait additional 2 hours for that.

Ouin is an awesome salesman. He understood the value of cash on hand rather than a maybe later. I was looking for a certain piece of furniture within my price range. What I wanted was out of stock and if I paid for it it would be ordered with an eta of December. When asked the store manager if I could purchase the floor sample and was told no. Customers needed to see what they were purchasing. Ouin understood the value of cash in hand. Store manager told him to take me to the back room for a look or the clearance section. In a frustrated tone at that point the store manager and I were frustrated. On the way back Ouin saw a nice piece within my price range and the deal was made, cash on hand. I recently ran into some major back issues, I was told I should get a new mattress/bed so I stopped in to Ashley's. Jay Malone was my sleep expert and he was absolutely amazing. He took me through every step possible to make sure I got a mattress that would help my situation to the best of his ability. We spent about a half hour discussing the best options for me, he showed me multiple mattress and they were all great options but finally decided on a temperpidic mattress. Once we agreed on the mattress he went to the extremes to get me the best dealn possible and got me a great deal. Jay was a great salesman and a amazing person, he showed compassion towards me and took my issues into consideration and made sure I walked out with the best option and price. I will gladly recommend him to anyone who needs a bed or furniture in the future. Jay is one of the few people you will me that genuinely cares about the costumer more than the sale itself. I can't thank him enough for helping me out and hopefully changing my qualities of sleep and life going forward.

I was frustrated with order I had from another company. It was going to take 6 months for it to be delivered. I decided to cancel the order after 4 months waiting and went to Ashley outlet. Adam mentioned they could see if they had the coffee table and end table in stock. I ended with the same coffee table same day, cheaper than other company, but still have to wait on end table. I went into the Burton store because I got an invite from an employee the night before. Jay is his name. To be honest I didn't like the feel of the store itself. But I enjoyed talking and working with Jay to complete my order. He was fantastic and professional. I guess what didn't sit well with me was how alot of the other sells personal were sitting around on personal calls and surfing the web. Not a good look while working. I will not be purchasing anything else from this Ashely branch. I rate Mr. Jay high The rest of the experience low I have no intention of referring anyone to this branch

Edit: After a month of trying to get a remote for the adjustable base I bought, after they failed to leave one when they delivered it, they tried to replace the base with a lower quality one rather than replace it. Refused to let me return it, and then tried to offer to upgrade it. I will never shop here again, and would advise anyone to shop elsewhere. Ameer was an excellent help, got us an amazing deal on mattresses and a new sectional, and is working around our schedule for delivery.

My husband and I shopped every furniture store in the area. We were shopping for a couch and loveseat. This is our first experience with Ashley. We walked in only to be greeted and asked if we needed help and we did. We had questions and really wanted a goid material that would last. Quin was our salesman and he was kind ,helpful, honest and just very nice to deal with on our experience. We ordered on Friday and couch ,loveseat and ottaman was delivered in Monday. We had communication over the weekend with the delivery team as to what time it would be coming Monday came and the man xalled and came when he said he was coming. All around A+ service. We did however get a damaged couch and we are disappointed in that and now have to wait and see what will happen and how long it will take. Quin said he will help with what he can and we have akready been in contact with the service email and sent pictures. We would love for this to go smoothly as I know things hapoen in shipping. Quin will be highly recommended ro anyine I know that will need furniture in the future. Quin greeted us right away but also offered us space which is usually important to us because a lot of times we enjoy looking around without a “pushy” salesman tagging along. But this time, we knew exactly what we were looking for and Quin was able to answer all questions about price, availability and options.

Just purchased a love seat and an AMAZING bed/base from the outlet today. The store was clean and had tons of furniture in stock. All the staff were friendly and attentive but not at all pushy. I came in to exchange a Queen Bed purchase to a King. Ameer was on his way out but Destiny (CSR) asked him to assist me. He happily did. The experience was great! He helped me and because of his service I added a chest to the bedroom and I will be making a mattress purchase. I will use him for all of my purchase needs. Destiny was great also. Went for the grand opening and thought there would be deals but that was not the case. Place was to open at 10am and didn't open until after 10:30. Had been in the store a couple of weeks ago and the saleswoman was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately that was not the case today. Cheap furniture way over priced. Sales people were not helpful. Will not be back.

Only reason I'm giving one star is because I used my debit card to buy a sectional and then my card was hacked for almost $1000. So not only am I out my money for 2 weeks I'm out my card for 5 to 8 business days and I am unable to use any money in this account this bank is out of state. Thanks for the inconvenience maybe your IT guys should have made sure your computer where safe instead of pushing to open this store quickly. I won't be doing anymore business with you I will not refer anyone to you and if anything I will be telling them not to go unless they want they cards hacked. That was the money for my daughter's open house thanks so much again!!!
