I have had multiple transactions at Ashley Outlet locations and my salesman this time, Eric, was amazing. He was very knowledgable about what that had available. I was looking for furniture that my cats would not consider for their own scratching needs and since microfiber has gone “out of style” I was having some difficulty. After describing my situation he showed me a few sets that would work. The fabric on the set I bought is actually amazing he took a set of keys to it to show me how scratch resistant it is. The delivery team was fast and professional and even put on the felt pads I bought to make it easier to clean underneath my furniture weekly. I have had the furniture for several weeks now and Eric was correct, no claw marks! My fully clawed fuzzy fur balls and I are still living in peace with no furniture clawing. I loved my experience at Ashley’s. I went in looking for a mattress and couch left with all that plus a Cruze. Thanks to Harold I felt right at home. He got me water and helped me to realize the thing I needed the most was a nice pillow. The purple mattress pillow is amazing we were supposed to be trying out mattresses and by the 4th one I was like “yeah this is the pillow for sure anyways let’s start looking for mattresses”. LOVE our new sectional! Delivery and set up was quick and definitely worth it! The only small thing is I was told I’d get a call 40 minutes before arrival but instead, received one when they were 3 minutes out. Not a huge deal, but luckily I was close to home.

Please read if you plan to do any sort of business with Ashley’s Furniture! This company is extremely unprofessional the products I’ve received were damaged. I purchased a 5000 bedroom set two years ago and have yet to experience my bed put together correctly. When bed set was initially setup it was rushed and the crew damaged merch such as drawers and knobs while trying to get me to sign off without checking setup. Whenever I have patron location in past. I’m never greeted at door like I can clearly see others being greeted. I’ve browsed around the store for almost an hour before someone has even said two words to me. The staff here are definitely trained to be discriminating and to service CERTAIN customers. I was disrespected by the store manager in front of other employees that didn’t even acknowledge the incident that unfolded before them. When you call for update on the status of order delivery etc. phone lines drop with the explanation of we are working on phone line which has lasted for several months at this point. I’ve had the worst experience with this company! I’ve attempted several times to cancel my business with them I’m forced to proceed without anyone offering me any sort of compensation % off really barely an apology for my experience. I had a service for the bed to be maintenance which I had to call several times throughout the day did receive an answer after calling for 30 mins selecting different options I finally spoke to someone that couldn’t understand I was calling for an ETA on my service order. After finally getting the info during call maintenance/ service crew never showed. I didn’t receive a courtesy call or any further info on service at this point! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I urge all to seriously reconsider before purchasing from this company you will regret it!!!!!!

Ordering was easy, being told the wrong delivery date from the beginning was irritating along with multiple calls to find out when we were going to get it but we finally received it and the delivery guys were great and quick!

Corey greeted me right away. Told me layout of store and said if I had any questions just ask. Then let me shop without hovering ( I really appreciate that) Found a set similar to one I had seen in Saginaw. Corey came to find me and ask if I needed help, which I did because the set didn't have a price and everything else in the store was priced. They had just brought out this couch and loveseat set and hadn't made sign yet. He went and got price for me. It was higher than the one in Saginaw. He spoke to the man in charge and he matched the price. I bought it!! The girl at the desk also was helpful and pleasant. Great shopping experience. Hoping delivery goes as well as purchasing.

Saturday when we met Mari, he was so extremely helpful! So willing to visualize our space and help us find the perfect fit! We had forgotten to measure our home, so Mari gave us the dimensions and information and said come on back! When we got home, sadly, what we had picked did not fit so we went with plan b! We came back on Sunday and it was Mari’s day off, so we finished our sale with Bob! He was just as helpful and understanding! He got our paperwork settled and answered! Cool People quick and easy

The crew of 3 men worked well to bring the furniture pieces into our home, taking their shoes off at the door each time! They put the back on the glider/rocker, assembled the bed frame & put all of the handles on the drawers of of the bed & dresser. They got the Purple base into place & demonstrated how to use the remote to adjust it to various settings. They brought the Purple mattress in & laid it atop the base for use. They took pics of a couple small scuffs on the right foot of the bed frame & one small ding in the top white dresser drawer. I'm hoping Ashley may have a way to cover the scuffs with gray & fill the small ding with white on the dresser. They were kind, polite, careful & efficient.

I had an excellent sales person who helped me solve my issue in the most efficient and affordable way!! Didn’t just try and sell me most expensive items. They actually listened to the situation and all the intangibles that went along with it. Then walked me right to my solution. Then on top of that when the sale was completed there was some big orders in front of me so they went and got my order and helped load my car!!! It was late an afternoon Sunday and it could have gone bad real quick but thanks to my salesperson I was able to relax and watch sports!! So thank you

Purchase a living room set in February and have gotten nothing but delay after delay. With still no furniture. Every encounter with you has left with just more delays and still no furniture. Now we have an end of this month date that it is supposed to be in the store but still no delivery date. I would recommend no one dealing with you, I wouldn't recommend your store for a throw rug at this point. We came back in to try to get some answers and my husband tried to go ahead and give benefit of the doubt and asked about a chair, to which he was told it was on sale for $299. He told them we had something to do but we would be back, he was told it would be ready when we came to pick it up and was told because of the other issue with the sectional that he would cut him a deal. Some deal, now all of a sudden it isn't on sale but the break comes by getting the sale price....good thing I wasn't in there because at this point this is getting ridiculous!!! Now the other day he gets a call from you saying that our chair is ready that we can come get it now......we picked it up the day we purchased it, good thing for you my husband is honest and told you. How this store is still open with this type of care, surprises me!!! To be honest things were quite hectic with my couch in terms of delivery, part was out of stock. However Ashley kept in contact with me and finally got everything to us. Our delivery team was awesome, Ronald and his helper (didn’t catch his name) were respectful and made sure to connect the sectional for us. Overall happy with our purchase from Ashley and would buy from them again!

They help find me a bed within my budget

Honestly this place is horrible... ordered dressers on 12-5 have only received one it's now 3/15...scheduled 4 different delivery dates to have them canceled the day of delivery because the 2nd dresser failed 4 inspections...on the 5th delivery now canceled again 15mins b4 delivery Time starts... this place is a nightmare I will never shop thr again this experience has been nothing but horrible....if I could score it a 0 I would....

Originally I was so upset with the customer service, the lady that waited on us didn’t tell us we had to wait 5 days for a check to clear, we had someone on the way to help pick up the items we were getting so we had to come up with another form of payment last minute. Then we got the wrong chair after waiting forever to get our order. My last review “I was extremely upset Had to wait at the warehouse for 45 minutes only one person ahead of us. No one talked to myself and my son. All kinds of people not working in the warehouse, on their phones talking to each but not saying nothing to us. So upset.” One of the manager read my review and a that point I had multiple workers helping me and the manager fixed the problem with the chair. Made me feel much better about the experience. When I got home the lED light on the back of my son’s desk didn’t work so now I’m waiting to get that fixed. But today I had to pick up one last item, the customer service was great everyone so so nice. I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes, manager William remembered my son and myself, he was very kind and helpful. I was really impressed today and happy with my experience. Once I get my son’s lights on his desk fixed I will change my rating to 5 stars! Thank you

Super disappointed. Needed furniture in a hurry for our new home. We purchased February 3rd and were told there was a truck with our particular model coming February 10th for delivery to store. Today (February 9th) I called to check on the status of the delivery and a store manager called me back to tell me delivery between February 22nd and 26th. He initially stated “this is on target with the 2 to 4 week timeframe you were given”. What we were told was “we tell everyone 2 to 4 weeks but we should have it for you guys here on Saturday February 10th”. What we were told was February 10th, which the manager later acknowledged based on the “notes”. He admitted we were told February 10th and said we shouldn’t have been told that. We were absolutely mislead by the sales team. They knew they would lose the sale had they been truthful about the timeframe. Josh was our salesperson. We’re now in our new home with no furniture for weeks. Wouldn’t recommend this place due to the inaccuracy and dishonesty. They didn’t offer to make it right at all just basically told me to “relax and wait”. 👎🏼

Terrible is the only words to describe the entirety of Ashley furniture. Yes they stage it very nice in the store, but good luck getting it into your home within 6 months of "out of stock" or canceled delivery dates. WHEN....or should I say "if" it ever comes, its the cheapest built furniture you're gonna ever see. You think "oh I'll purchase the 5 year warranty"....yea. Good luck getting them to honor that. They make excuse after excuse to get anyone to your home. This is the most miserable experience and we spent literally thousands. Smack yourself in the face with a frying pan and burn the cash in the front yard...it will hurt less. Notice ALL the 5 star reviews are from people with no imagine on their profile. Fake!

Mari is SO helpful. I’d give him more stars if it were an option! Very knowledgeable, patient, professional and down to earth! We’ve been to other Ashley furniture stores and this experience was the total opposite of what we’ve had at the Flint location and Dearborn location, this was by far the best. We didn’t have intentions of leaving with what we purchased but when he showed us the adjustable base we knew we had to have it. Being pregnant has been very hard on my body and this is going to help out so much! Give this man a raise because he more than deserves it!

This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had a furniture store. We purchased a couple paintings and an ottoman. When we cashed out the clerk (Aliyah not sure abt spelling) was rude and appeared disgusted when we questioned why the 5% military discount only came to $1.50 on a $450 purchase so much so that my husband walked out because he no longer wanted to deal with her attitude. The cashout process to purchase (using cash) took us over 25 minutes. It was absolutely ridiculous. The sales person Chrys was nice and apologetic for the cashier's behavior, but I will NOT be back!

BEWARE!!!: I went to the ashley outlet and picked out a couch cause I love Ashley furniture. After running my credit report twice without my permission he said sorry we have none in stock and it won't be available for a month. I needed a couch so I left and went somewhere else and got an ashley couch with no hassle or pressure "unlike the Ashley outlet". So a week later I get a credit card from Ashley outlet which "I DID NOT APPLY FOR". I called the credit bureau and filed a fraud report. Then I opened the second envelope and there was a purchase on the credit statement that I did not purchase. I will never go there again. They are fraudulent and no one has contacted me regarding this experience except for the fraud dept. Thank you Fraud dept. For taking care of Ashley's crooked employee trying to steal my identity. He should be fired and if I had a choice, yes I would press charges. I know exactly who it was and he's still employed there probably ripping off other customers! Ashley yall have lost all my business and yall should be audited and ashamed for messing up a good named store! How dare you people!!!

I had another great shopping experience at the Ashley Outlet off Center Rd in Burton. My salesperson Ashley was absolutely the best. She's super friendly, very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and won't try to oversell you. It was amazing I was first greeted by the store manager when I walked in and it was a great interaction, then all the sales people was amazing and very helpful they all were asking me if I needed anything very pleased with them espically Harold and Eric every question they answered with great knowledge of the furniture. Then lastly the office lady’s were all amazing and very helpful in the process making sure everything was fast and easy for the payment process and explaining everything in detail. Definitely coming to shop again. Also big shout out to the warehouse guys that helped in loading the furniture safely and correctly in my vehicle I believe there names was will, Anthony, Thomas, and Matt all was super helpful. Definitely shopping here again 100/100 experience keep up the great work guys!!!!

Sales person, Eric, was helpfully and very knowledgeable about the bed we were looking to purchase. He was the only salesperson on the floor so he was helping multiple people at the same time. We were at the store for over 1.5 hours to make our purchase, that would be the reason for the 4 star review and not 5. Eric deserves a 5 star plus for helping as many people as he could.

The saleperson was working with another customer so it took a very long time. She kept telling us she was new and she did keep apologizing. She wrote up the wrong color so they had to do the paper work again. It was a very long process. I decided to take the couch and it was getting late. When I asked about getting it tonight she said, "If it was delivered you wouldn't get it tonight." Very bad thing to say to an already frustrated customer.

Quick deal and good price..

This outlet was a very good furniture store. From the time I walked through the door their staff was very helpful and very professional. Ashley listen to what I was looking for and was happy to direct me to some of the sofas I was interested in. Even the store manager stopped by to make sure how I was doing. The prices were Fair for the quality that I picked out. My set up for delivery and warranty went very smooth. My experience with the purchase of my new sofa and loveseat was great.

Ashley sales staff was wonderful. Delivery and set up great. However, do not purchase the protection plan through Montage Furniture Services. It has been over a month since I filed a claim, the repair team cancelled once and never showed up the 2nd time after I waited all day. They sent the parts to the wrong address, then forgot to send a part. Its been a mess. Would rather just buy a new couch at this point.

I had a great experience the day I visited Ashley furniture outlet. I was on a hunt for a new sectional so I decided to stop in since I was in the area. I was greeted by jay. I told jay my needs, he gave his opinion and allowed me to browse on my own not pushy at all which I loved. I found what I needed and he proceeded to tell me about a special they had that included purple mattresses. I was not looking to purchase a new mattress at all but he had me try out a few of them and also showed me his personal preferences, I was SOLD. I basically walked out with a new sectional, ottoman, purple mattress and smart base. This was hands down the best customer service experience I’ve had in a longggg time. Greeted us as we came in the door. We told him what we were looking for. They did not have in stock. But showed us the similar fabric and style, to be able to have a feel for the new couch. Ordered what we were after. Told us he would call us when it came in. If it was not quite what we were looking for. We could exchange or refund. Did not pressure us into making a snap decision. Or a second choice of " might be ok with". Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Spoke with Harold at this location who provided a lot of valuable information without it coming off as a sales pitch or pressuring us into anything. Felt pretty comfortable and while the items we purchased were obviously a huge factor, working with Harold was a large part of our decision as well. Would definitely recommend this location *edit addition* - after receiving delivery, it was clear that Harold had not really been listening when I repeatedly told him we were purchasing the 5 piece, not the 4 piece sectional. The item arrived with only the four pieces. Luckily the management staff was incredibly helpful, and it took less than half an hour to come to a satisfactory resolution to the issue. I would still recommend buying from this location, but would advise against working with Harold. While he is very personable, friendly, and likable, he also seems very distractable and prone to forgetting what you had told him not five minutes prior.

At time of purchase everything was great. Very helpful. But when it came time for warranty service well it's a different game. While still under manufacturers warranty they would not cover it. We had to PAY 50.00 for an outside service to come and work on the problem I'm very disappointed in their service and doubtful if I will ever purchase from them again. Unless they reimburse my 50.00 to me.

EDIT: First review WAS 5 stars. We went back for a second couch and had it delivered again. The delivery team was over 8 hours late -even though I got several text messages throughout the day that they were on their way. They left my door open without my consent- even after I let them know I had to put my cats away. 2 of 3 of my indoor cats got out without my knowledge and nearly lost them- I was devastated and not only did the delivery team LAUGH IN MY FACE in my own household, they left my furniture 3/4 unassembled. I called to complain and Moe (who was kind, but not his dept) stated I would get a call from the delivery manager, I have not received a call yet. Very disappointed in the work ethic and customer service. I will not be returning. Chrys was great to work with. Not a pushy sales guy. He was attentive enough to answer all questions when we needed him. Delivery was pushed out a little later than I thought and some items were a bit expensive. Check out the clearance (as-is) items, we got a new couch from the warehouse because they had extra. Great deal. Brand new love seat and couch for under $800!

Harold was fantastic.

Overall not satisfied. Quin (Primary) and Chrys (Secondary) assisted us with our purchases. We visited twice before sale day to speed up the process. We were told that because we completed the credit application and had all of the furniture picked out and documented that the finalization day would be quick and painless, we were still there for over an hour because the paperwork was not finished. We were told that our furniture was going to be available for delivery same day because of a immediate need to make room in the warehouse, yet now we're looking at 4-6 weeks. Quin handled most of our process and was pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and did his best to meet our expectations. Chrys was our initial salesperson, wasn't very involved with our experience, didn't seem interested or invested in our sale and ultimately passed us off to Quin. We're looking forward to receiving our furniture, and hope the rest of the experience goes smoothly.

We went in and had a terrible experience with a girl named ashley. She pushed harder than any other person in sales I've ever seen. She wouldn't take no for an answer and we weren't even saying no. We said we wanted to check out one more place and we would come back and she literally followed us up to the door saying "just give me 10 minutes to give you a price" then at the last second she said to my girlfriend, who was being more passive than I was, "give me your cell number and I'll text you later". We couldn't believe it. We were not going to go back but it was the only place to have the table we wanted. So I went back the next day and talked to Quin and it was a complete 180. He was very likable and apologized for the way the previous person acted. He gave me a better price on the table for having had a bad experience. Because he is a stand up guy I will go back there again. So if you go to the Ashley furniture store on Lapeer road ask for Quin and avoid ashley like the plague.

I'll start by saying that i absolutely hate furniture stores because the salespeople's pressure is generally worse than used car salesmen. Mari, our salesman, was great and didn't hound us through the store. We received our order way sooner than expected. Delivery guys were great and quick. Nothing but good things to say.

Adam went above and beyond in helping me purchase a new mattress tonight. I needed it tonight and the warehouse guys had already gone home so he personally brought my mattress out to me. On top of that the original mattress I wanted showed to be in stock but wasn't actually in the warehouse so Adam marked down a better mattress so that I could get something tonight.

Mari took great care of me as soon as you walked in the door. He helped me find the furnitures to fit the space that I have. He was very friendly and it was a great buying experience.

After reviewing my bill at home I noticed I was charged for 2 pillows 250 each & a 200 sheet set that I was told were gifts for my purchases. $700 I shouldn’t have been charged. Definitely not happy !!!!!!!

Corliss was a friendly salesperson who introduced herself to me but then allowed me to shop on my own and did not continually hound me like salespersons can do. I appreciated that! When we picked up our floor model purchase, we were impressed with the on-the-spot wrapping that the warehouse staff did.

Visited the Ashley Outlet this week and purchased a Bed Bunky Board and some cute pillows with dogs on them for our couch. Very nice store with some beautiful furniture displays. Mari was our salesperson and he was super knowledgeable and great to work with. I would definitely buy from there again, overall a really good experience.

Very friendly sales people. Attentative without the "pressure". Nothing worse than being followed around and talked to while you are really trying to focus on your potential purchase. Furniture shopping is stressful enough without that. All I want to know is that you are available if I have questions. Corliss was helpful and sincere. Shout out to Corliss who was super and very thorough during the sale. Yes, I found what I was looking for here.

Quin was very thorough and helpful. Definitely recommend him to anybody that visits the store, he doesn't hound you and follow you around the store but was there to answer every question we had. Great service!

Employee told me they would check my credit. Instead they ruined my credit with hard checks, and opening multiple accounts with credit cards I never knew about or received. I found out they existed on my credit app. I'll never go to any Ashley store after my first time experience here at one of their stores. They literally do not have a clue how to perform their job at all. I reported the fraud to both banks and canceled both credit cards I was never told once about. They hard checked my credit when told they would not and dropped my score 48 points. Just be careful with the incompetent untrained workers at Ashley. This review isn't about product quality but rather being a 0/10 on their fraudulent service.

We stoped in to look at entertainment stands and Micheal helped us right away. Although we didn’t find we were looking for, Micheal made sure we got the best customer service. He went out of his way to help find out the dimensions of our TV. We really appreciated his excellent customer service, he was truly great. As someone who works in management in retail, I know it’s hard to come by people like that and wanted to make sure he is recognized.

I bought a chair for my desk. I guess they didn’t want to open a box of a set of two in back, so they sold me the floor model for less money. The salesman never looked over the chair or offered for me to get one from the back. I should’ve done a better job checking out the legs because there’s a big damage spot in the paint. Since they sold me the floor model I can’t return it!

This is Daniel and Tracy Garfi. We walked in and Corliss was there to greet us. Corliss was very polite and Courteous. She helped us out in anyway she could. She was able to get us down to our price range. They even thru two new pillows and mattress cover in. Corliss told us to have a good day and offered to carry the pillows and stuff out but we said no thanks. Thanks for such great service as always. We will definitely use Ashley in the future.

Initially I gave a 5 star review and I had to change it to 1 star. Do not shop here. Delivery is horrible, and when you need help no one will return your calls. It’s been months, and now I’m out over $1300- still don’t have furniture- still can’t get my phone calls returned.
