Kyle was great. He let you look casually any questions he answered. All the personal were exstremly friendly. Would highly recommend them when looking to update your furniture.

Saim was very patient with my husband and myself. We were shopping for a king size bed and mattress. We were not sure what we wanted and what was out there to choose from. He informed us of the many attributes to consider so we could make an educated decision. We were glad to be able to set up payments with 0% interest. Poor experience with further store..Sum up: we purchased a loveseat and the couch from there, in the store was very soft to sit, product we receive was hard as a rock. We decided to go into the store and speak with them and they are so rude to us even the store manager . We decided to dispute with our bank and see what goes from there. Do not buy from this location 28 th street Kentwood Michigan - you will lose all your money… Advising everyone!!!!. Both managers were rude and arrogant, sales guy was telling us to walk on the cushions to break them, omg … If you are buy furniture in the future, please don’t buy from them… You cannot return it even in 75 window.. They will apply 20% restock fee with in store credit… We did not receive what we ordered even after testing so many on sites…. I encourage you do not shop with them.

Thank goodness Kyle P. was the gentleman who first interacted with us when we walked in! I said to my husband before we even had the car in park……”prepared to be harassed and uncomfortable”. It has typically been our experience when furniture shopping, which is why it never sounds fun or appealing to go…..even if you really really need to go! It’s why I’ve become the world’s almost greatest online shopper 😊 My opinion about furniture shopping changed once I walked in Ashley’s doors. Kyle was the perfect amount of everything. A sprinkle of information, a dash of “I’m here if you have any questions”, and the the final touch, staying close enough to be involved in our process, without us feeling like we were being stalked! His insight and knowledge is unmatched yet, the whole time we were with him we never felt overwhelmed with information. Kyle inserted himself in all the areas and became human….not just someone trying to sell us something. He genuinely cared about WHAT we needed and not just what we wanted. Getting the customer the RIGHT piece of furniture is the goal…..not just ANY piece of furniture! I wanted to know his thoughts and opinions, as the expert I was curious what his advise was…..and what I got was a guy who advised based on facts…..then based on our needs and our unique situation….gave us options and helped get us to the finish line on a piece of furniture I'm beyond excited to get…..and the throw pillows!! I was told the day I made my purchase in the store it would take approx 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. It is now going past 6 weeks. I got a random text 2 weeks ago saying it would be in now but unfortunately still waiting. I text the lady I made the purchase from asking her where my furniture is a few days ago and got no response. Not a happy customer!

Ashley furniture sucks. 8 months old couch and love seat about 3500.00 worth. The seats look like it's 10 years old. They came out 1 time to replace 1 cushion. Within 1 week it was flat again. I was told that was a 1 time good faith gesture and it was considered normal wear and tear and sorry about my bad luck but they wouldn't help anymore. After couple years I understand but 9 months? Sucks.

Lucas helped me try to identify the fabric on the Parklynn set. There wasn’t anything with the same fabric in the store. He helped me going through several options and I decided on the Parklynn and felt so much better about my choice, thanks to Lucas. He was very thorough and explained the time involved in the delivery process for long distance deliveries. Very helpful with expectations and knowing how to plan.

Very bad experience. I have spent 15k in furniture here this past two years. Tried to file 1 claim for my leather chairs with the warrant protection I paid for and was denied after the local rep, Michael, failed to follow up as he committed to. I will not buy any additional furniture for my new house here and want to cancel the warranty program on my current furniture. It’s a racket.

Our sale person, Susie, was so patient with us. She helped us alot making our final decision on which loveseat to purchase. And the manager of the store is so friendly. Infact everyone that worked in the store where extremely nice to us.

This was probably one of the best sales experiences I've ever had. I came in wanting to purchase an adjustable bed frame and mattress, about which I knew very little. Thankfully, Saim (the sales person) did know. He was able to answer ALL my questions and added info I hadn't even thought about. It's a long story, but I ended up leaving the store with exactly what I wanted and even a little more. I was able to take advantage of some of their extra perks and saved a good hunk of money. BUT . . . the best part was that because my husband was a Viet Nam era vet, the delivery was free. The icing on the cake was the gong that rang throughout the store at the end of the transaction at which time all of the employees hurried to the main register, shook my hand warmly, and thanked me for my husband's service. He left this earth 5 years ago and it was worth my misty eyes to see how he was honored just because of a bed frame and mattress!

We went in towards the end of the night and we’re greeted by Lucas who didn’t rush us and showed us different options based on our needs. He was patient as we walked around the store, looking at different models and very helpful in setting up our design and a seamless transaction.

Paid couple hundred dollars for repair and my brand new couch from this place started falling apart, they denied the repair because I put a single nail in to hold the dang thing together. They considered it a self repair. Unreal Never buying from here again

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have experienced nothing but problems from this terribly ran company on all aspects of their business and still have not have my problems fully resolved 2 months later. I spent 10k purchasing 2 sectionals, the sales manager tried to break up the deal and pulled free delivery, so I negotiated the purchase price. The sales associate told me the backs came off of all pieces including the corner/wedge piece which was not the truth. The corner/ wedge would not fit down my stairwell, so I had them send out a service tech to disassemble it and reassemble in the basement which cost me an extra $100. Instead he shoved it down the 30in opening damaging the walls and piece of furniture. I was also sold the wrong pieces of the furniture due to the sales associate ordering the wrong pieces. In response he re-ordered it and said they would exchange and deliver it. It was ordered incorrectly again! Finally what I believe is correct, is in it at the warehouse. No one reached out to me for delivery, I called them! Now I have to wait for 2 weeks for them to deliver and exchange pieces 20 minutes away! This should be fixed with urgency. I have wasted hours on the phone dealing with people in the sales, service, and delivery department and have received nothing but terrible customer service nor do I have the correct furniture to enjoy that I purchased with my hard earned money! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE EVER AGAIN!!!

We shopped at another furniture store same day and my wife had made the comment how much of a difference a “non pushy” sales associate is as we experience the opposite in a different company. We were told during our purchase that we could have delivery in 2-4 weeks. We spent over $8000 for a couch, mattress and box spring. They finally called us to schedule in week 5. Meanwhile I have an empty house. I will not be returning

Hello my name is Sandra my family and I recently purchased a brand new home with that being said we were in need of pieces for every room. We visited four local furniture stores and pleasantly to our surprise Ashley Furniture was the answer to all of our needs from the bedroom, living room, to the dinning room and the prices were competitive or lower than the other stores!! Susie was our hosting agent she was polite and patient which goes a long way with me. I came into the store expecting the car salesman experience but instead received excellent and meaningful customer service! I was struggling with a furniture decision for a small space. Marcus spent two days with me, my husband, a measuring tape and photos of my space. I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn’t need. Walked in to check out the selection. Was politely greeted but then was overtaken with conversation by one of the sales guys. Also, delivery is 10% of what you spend. Unless you're military then it's free. So the more you spend, the more you pay. Thats just silly. I'll be checking out other places.

Great Customer Service

Went to a few different Ashley stores looking for a sleeper sofa and this was the first store that had something similar to what we were looking for. Our sales person Aleigha was very helpful in helping us find what we were looking for. The staff was friendly and patient while we made our decision she wasn't pushy and helped us find what we wanted. I was pretty happy with my experience and would definitely go back again.

After furnishing my entire home through this location over the past 6 years, I had the most unprofessional experience with the manager, Eric, this afternoon. As a loyal customer, I have spent thousands of dollars over the years. Today, I went in to buy a specific sofa and the price they were offering in store was $100 more than the price online. Apparently, the website was pinging off a location in Ohio and pricing is different based on location. Fair enough. In trying to reach my price point on the furniture, Eric was completely unwilling to work with me to find a solution. He said that if he gave me $100 off, every time I come back I would be looking for better and better price contingencies. I asked him three times if he was willing to lose the entire relationship over $100, where I still have 2000sqft that I am remodeling, and every time he said yes. Look, I’m a reasonable person. If Eric had just said it’s their policy not to offer an additional discount I would not be here writing this right now and I might have gone ahead and purchased the sofa. Instead, he accused me of not shopping in good faith. I ordered a chair during COVID that took 6-9 months to be delivered. The sales rep at that time offered to give me a discount due to the delay, and I rejected it because I knew it was not the fault of this store. This is a local store with a local owner, and it is not their fault the manufacturer was having issues during COVID. I expected that we would have a long standing relationship and that the good faith I showed them would be returned as I continue to furnish my home. I was wrong, and this location does not value loyal customers. When I spend thousands of dollars, I expect more than an arms length transactional relationship. When I shared this with Eric, he couldn’t have cared less. I will spend hundreds more dollars if necessary to avoid shopping at this Ashley store again. I’m disappointed.

They need to have more teen bedroom options available to look at in person. They lacked in the tween/teen area and they don't carry alot of full size bed options. The person we worked with was great though and helpful with our needs. We ended up ordering it online in store with Alfred and he was great to work with. Another positive was being a veteran family, we get free shipping and install. We still have not received a phone call or text for our furniture delivery that we are anxiously waiting for. It's been almost 4 weeks.

I honestly have to say that I am so impressed with my entire Ashley experience. Keziah presented herself so well, was incredibly professional, and proved extremely knowledgeable about the furniture. She guided me in my decision-making without acting pushy. I also loved the whole atmosphere of the entire store! A special thanks to the management for treating your veterans so well! Looking forward to that free delivery.

When purchasing a mattress with my husband, the sales man asked us if we were paying in full or creating a payment plan. I said that we were paying in full. Then the salesperson asked again. I responded, louder, that we were paying in full. Then repeat. Then my husband responded and said we were paying in full, and the salesman said he’d ring us up right away. Felt blatantly sexist

We were met at the door by a friendly sales rep. She showed us around providing insights into fabrics. We were pleased by the selection and pricing! Because of their wide variety of styles, we found what we were looking for in a living room set. Thanks to our sales rep, Keziah, who listened attentively to our needs and wants, we made a purchase the same day!

Bought a bedroom set with 1 dresser. That dresser arrived broke (drawer slide). I was able to fix. I then ordered the tall dresser and it also arrived broke (top of it was smashed). I called and asked to have the replacement delivered and they said no. I would have to go pick it up. I asked to speak with a manager, they said one would call back. They never did. An absolute horrible experience with this company.

We had such a pleasant experience purchasing a mattress today! Aleigha was very knowledgeable and helpful. We are happy to purchase from a company who makes their product in the USA!

EDIT:: finally got my second order (big mistake) and opened the box and my items were COVERED in mold. I should have figured since the box smelled terrible and musty/moldy!!! You can see all the white fuzz growing on the cardboard 🤮🤮 save yourself time and money and shop anywhere else!!! I would shop elsewhere. I got furniture delivered and they put a hole in my wall. It took 10+ days to hear any response (after multiple calls) and they said they would send someone out to fix it. I asked for proof that the person is licensed and insured (and not someone’s friend of a friend) and they will not show the proof and said “you have to trust me, this guy is good.” I feel like when they have to say that, the person might not be as good as they think…… wish I could give 0 stars!

Ok good store..but with typical sales ripoffs.. they have limited selection of colors they don't allow you to choose a fabric and have anything made to order. They charge $500 for delivery that's outrageous I've never seen it be above $35. They don't stock anything in their store or in any close warehouses anything you buy is 5 weeks to delivery I've never heard of this. And they try to hook you up with 29% interest financing! It's just like they're trying to be crooked in every possible way. Don't know about the furniture yet I'll be waiting a couple months for that. Why do not stock a store? I can order stuff. I say this about all department stores if you don't have it in the building then why do you exist?

Marcus listened to our needs and really helped us find the perfect living room set. We had been looking for 5 years unable to decide on the perfect living room set. Marcus helped us find the right furniture for the right price.

My sales person, Wendy, was incredibly helpful, showing me all the options and explaining the differences in the product I was searching for. I was selecting a higher end pillow as I have struggled with neck / shoulder pain and department store pillows will no longer work for me. Wendy taught me the proper way to lay on a pillow and body placement to help my specific issues. The entire transaction was really nice. Wendy made me feel very comfortable (laying down on a mattress can make you feel a little awkward!) and describing the differences in the pillows available, the construction, the options as well as the correct height. I feel like with her help, I was able to make the perfect choice! I’m so excited to actually have a good nights sleep!

We were looking for a dining room set and Nick Baum helped us, he was so polite and we never felt pressured. We didn’t purchase the first visit but came back again as he was walking out to lunch but soon he came back in to help us with the process which I found so nice that he did that even though he would have still gotten the credit for the purchase. We looked at several options and even grabbed a cple different ones for the captains chairs that worked well with the table and other 4 chairs we picked out. Went to purchase new bed. Alfred, our Salesperson, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This was the second purchase we’ve made from Ashley within the past few months and both experiences were great. I didn’t find the team to be pushy at all and they allowed me my time to look, but yet available when I had questions.

Shopping at Ashley Furniture was a fun and easy experience. Spouse and I had our 3 year old with us and they made us feel welcome. Michael was super helpful, he was very professional yet very personable, a genuine kind human. He can rock a pair of suspenders too! We honestly went to look to gather ideas, we had no intention to purchase today. Michael was very attentive to our style, he showed us pieces not only in the store but also online after hearing what we were looking for, and even measured chairs and the couch for us. Being able to sit in the furniture you’re going to invest in changes things, especially with help from people that genuinely invest in you and your needs (which is a rare thing these days). He gave us the opportunity to wander and did not suffocate or follow us. Product availability is also very reasonable. We were impressed with the quality and variety of styles offered, but most importantly felt welcomed and treated as a person, not a sale. On another day when they were quite busy, his manager Graham helped set us up, was very welcoming, and knowledgable and also enhanced the experience. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone looking for furniture to shop through Ashley, and most importantly work with Jedha.

Being a Veteran and having a few issues I like to be alone. I don't like crowds and can't deal with pushy salesmen. I am remodeling my home and need furniture, so I shopped online but you really need to sit in it and look at it in person. So I have to leave my safety net and adventure out. I took my youngest son and went to a few stores and almost threw in the towel, but we decide one more store. We walked into Ashley Furniture and meet Michael wearing suspenders and is also a Vet. I'm telling you if you need a salesman who doesn't act like a salesman and makes you feel like he is there to help see Michael. He announced himself before he was 2ft in front of me, which really helped. Very down to earth guy didn't try to impress me with a hero story or ask me about mine. He saved me some money and we had a good conversation. He politely asked if they could take my pic for their hero wall and ring a gong after the sale and I declined. The last thing I wanted is attention, they don't need a crying Vet in their store. If you have PTSD and have trouble shopping for furniture go see Michael. Thank you Michael
