Very bad experience. I have spent 15k in furniture here this past two years. Tried to file 1 claim for my leather chairs with the warrant protection I paid for and was denied after the local rep, Michael, failed to follow up as he committed to. I will not buy any additional furniture for my new house here and want to cancel the warranty program on my current furniture. It’s a racket.

Our sale person, Susie, was so patient with us. She helped us alot making our final decision on which loveseat to purchase. And the manager of the store is so friendly. Infact everyone that worked in the store where extremely nice to us.

Saim Jawed was a pleasure to work with. He is easy to work with, follows up and gets things done.

This was probably one of the best sales experiences I've ever had. I came in wanting to purchase an adjustable bed frame and mattress, about which I knew very little. Thankfully, Saim (the sales person) did know. He was able to answer ALL my questions and added info I hadn't even thought about. It's a long story, but I ended up leaving the store with exactly what I wanted and even a little more. I was able to take advantage of some of their extra perks and saved a good hunk of money. BUT . . . the best part was that because my husband was a Viet Nam era vet, the delivery was free. The icing on the cake was the gong that rang throughout the store at the end of the transaction at which time all of the employees hurried to the main register, shook my hand warmly, and thanked me for my husband's service. He left this earth 5 years ago and it was worth my misty eyes to see how he was honored just because of a bed frame and mattress!

We went in towards the end of the night and we’re greeted by Lucas who didn’t rush us and showed us different options based on our needs. He was patient as we walked around the store, looking at different models and very helpful in setting up our design and a seamless transaction.

Paid couple hundred dollars for repair and my brand new couch from this place started falling apart, they denied the repair because I put a single nail in to hold the dang thing together. They considered it a self repair. Unreal Never buying from here again

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have experienced nothing but problems from this terribly ran company on all aspects of their business and still have not have my problems fully resolved 2 months later. I spent 10k purchasing 2 sectionals, the sales manager tried to break up the deal and pulled free delivery, so I negotiated the purchase price. The sales associate told me the backs came off of all pieces including the corner/wedge piece which was not the truth. The corner/ wedge would not fit down my stairwell, so I had them send out a service tech to disassemble it and reassemble in the basement which cost me an extra $100. Instead he shoved it down the 30in opening damaging the walls and piece of furniture. I was also sold the wrong pieces of the furniture due to the sales associate ordering the wrong pieces. In response he re-ordered it and said they would exchange and deliver it. It was ordered incorrectly again! Finally what I believe is correct, is in it at the warehouse. No one reached out to me for delivery, I called them! Now I have to wait for 2 weeks for them to deliver and exchange pieces 20 minutes away! This should be fixed with urgency. I have wasted hours on the phone dealing with people in the sales, service, and delivery department and have received nothing but terrible customer service nor do I have the correct furniture to enjoy that I purchased with my hard earned money! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE EVER AGAIN!!!

We shopped at another furniture store same day and my wife had made the comment how much of a difference a “non pushy” sales associate is as we experience the opposite in a different company. We would definitely bring our business back to Ashley based off our experience & able to find a dinning room set. Thank you for your help.

I walked into Ashley store today not expecting to purchase anything as I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted. Everyone was so kind from the minute I walked in. Channa was the designer who helped me picked the perfect sofa for my space. She is very knowledgeable and we ordered the sofa pictured below with an extra seat added. Hello my name is Sandra my family and I recently purchased a brand new home with that being said we were in need of pieces for every room. We visited four local furniture stores and pleasantly to our surprise Ashley Furniture was the answer to all of our needs from the bedroom, living room, to the dinning room and the prices were competitive or lower than the other stores!! Susie was our hosting agent she was polite and patient which goes a long way with me. We still haven't finished our purchases for the dining room our schedule didn't permit so I will be returning to Ashley's Furniture Store soon. See you there!! 😜

I came into the store expecting the car salesman experience but instead received excellent and meaningful customer service! I was struggling with a furniture decision for a small space. Marcus spent two days with me, my husband, a measuring tape and photos of my space. I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn’t need. Walked in to check out the selection. Was politely greeted but then was overtaken with conversation by one of the sales guys. He just wouldn't stop talking and wouldn't pick up on hints that I'd just like to look around and see what I like, then seek him for questions if I have them. Too pushy! Also, delivery is 10% of what you spend. Unless you're military then it's free. So the more you spend, the more you pay. Thats just silly. I'll be checking out other places.

Ordered almost 2 months ago 1 floor lamp and 2 vases still has not come in yet 1 of the vases very disappointed we worked sales lady Ashley tried to sell us furniture that we would have paid more for less so went a Ashley whole sale got the exact same furniture with more pieces for the same price and here it is 5 weeks ago no vases still I will never shop there again

My husband hates "pushy sales people" that try to get you to buy the more expensive options. My husband really liked Nick. Nick took our lifestyle into account with us needed durable furniture that can withstand having large breed dog in the home, and even helped with accurate measurements. We will definitely be going back when we are ready for a new dining set. Very happy customers.

I recently visited Ashley Furniture with the intention of buying just a kitchen table but ended up leaving with much more: beautiful new pieces for my home and, unexpectedly, a newfound friend in Marcus, one of the sales associates. Upon entering the store, my husband and I were warmly greeted by Marcus, who immediately inquired about our needs. We mentioned we were in the market for a kitchen table, and he guided us to the appropriate section. What impressed us most was his approach; he didn't hover or pressure us to make a purchase. After initially showing us the options, he stepped back, allowing us the space to make our decision, only returning occasionally to see if we had any questions. It was just the right level of attentiveness without being overwhelming. We were able to find the perfect kitchen table that suited our style and needs. But it didn't stop there. With Marcus’s expert guidance and keen eye for design, we also selected a couple of end tables for our living room. Marcus went above and beyond by promising to alert us within 30 days if there was a sale on the end tables so we could benefit from a discount. This kind of customer service is rare and outstanding. Marcus’s excellent service and genuine care for his customers turned what could have been a routine shopping trip into a delightful experience. Great Customer Service

Went to a few different Ashley stores looking for a sleeper sofa and this was the first store that had something similar to what we were looking for. Our sales person Aleigha was very helpful in helping us find what we were looking for. The staff was friendly and patient while we made our decision she wasn't pushy and helped us find what we wanted. I was pretty happy with my experience and would definitely go back again.

After furnishing my entire home through this location over the past 6 years, I had the most unprofessional experience with the manager, Eric, this afternoon. As a loyal customer, I have spent thousands of dollars over the years. Today, I went in to buy a specific sofa and the price they were offering in store was $100 more than the price online. Apparently, the website was pinging off a location in Ohio and pricing is different based on location. Fair enough. In trying to reach my price point on the furniture, Eric was completely unwilling to work with me to find a solution. He said that if he gave me $100 off, every time I come back I would be looking for better and better price contingencies. I asked him three times if he was willing to lose the entire relationship over $100, where I still have 2000sqft that I am remodeling, and every time he said yes. Look, I’m a reasonable person. If Eric had just said it’s their policy not to offer an additional discount I would not be here writing this right now and I might have gone ahead and purchased the sofa. Instead, he accused me of not shopping in good faith. I ordered a chair during COVID that took 6-9 months to be delivered. The sales rep at that time offered to give me a discount due to the delay, and I rejected it because I knew it was not the fault of this store. This is a local store with a local owner, and it is not their fault the manufacturer was having issues during COVID. I expected that we would have a long standing relationship and that the good faith I showed them would be returned as I continue to furnish my home. I was wrong, and this location does not value loyal customers. When I spend thousands of dollars, I expect more than an arms length transactional relationship. When I shared this with Eric, he couldn’t have cared less. I will spend hundreds more dollars if necessary to avoid shopping at this Ashley store again. I’m disappointed.

Beyond impressed both times, I won’t be looking elsewhere.

They need to have more teen bedroom options available to look at in person. They lacked in the tween/teen area and they don't carry alot of full size bed options. The person we worked with was great though and helpful with our needs. We ended up ordering it online in store with Alfred and he was great to work with. Another positive was being a veteran family, we get free shipping and install. We still have not received a phone call or text for our furniture delivery that we are anxiously waiting for. It's been almost 4 weeks.

We stopped in to look at some furniture pieces for our basement and Nick was very helpful. He answered all of our questions and got our order placed with no hassle. All of the staff were friendly and enjoyable to interact with.

When purchasing a mattress with my husband, the sales man asked us if we were paying in full or creating a payment plan. I said that we were paying in full. Then the salesperson asked again. I responded, louder, that we were paying in full. Then repeat. Then my husband responded and said we were paying in full, and the salesman said he’d ring us up right away. Felt blatantly sexist

Bought a bedroom set with 1 dresser. That dresser arrived broke (drawer slide). I was able to fix. I then ordered the tall dresser and it also arrived broke (top of it was smashed). I called and asked to have the replacement delivered and they said no. I would have to go pick it up. I asked to speak with a manager, they said one would call back. They never did. An absolute horrible experience with this company.

We had such a pleasant experience purchasing a mattress today! Aleigha was very knowledgeable and helpful. We are happy to purchase from a company who makes their product in the USA!

EDIT:: finally got my second order (big mistake) and opened the box and my items were COVERED in mold. I should have figured since the box smelled terrible and musty/moldy!!! You can see all the white fuzz growing on the cardboard 🤮🤮 save yourself time and money and shop anywhere else!!! I would shop elsewhere. I got furniture delivered and they put a hole in my wall. It took 10+ days to hear any response (after multiple calls) and they said they would send someone out to fix it. I asked for proof that the person is licensed and insured (and not someone’s friend of a friend) and they will not show the proof and said “you have to trust me, this guy is good.” I feel like when they have to say that, the person might not be as good as they think…… wish I could give 0 stars!

Ok good store..but with typical sales ripoffs.. they have limited selection of colors they don't allow you to choose a fabric and have anything made to order. They charge $500 for delivery that's outrageous I've never seen it be above $35. They don't stock anything in their store or in any close warehouses anything you buy is 5 weeks to delivery I've never heard of this. And they try to hook you up with 29% interest financing! It's just like they're trying to be crooked in every possible way. Don't know about the furniture yet I'll be waiting a couple months for that. Why do not stock a store? I can order stuff. I say this about all department stores if you don't have it in the building then why do you exist?

Marcus listened to our needs and really helped us find the perfect living room set. We had been looking for 5 years unable to decide on the perfect living room set. Marcus helped us find the right furniture for the right price.

My sales person, Wendy, was incredibly helpful, showing me all the options and explaining the differences in the product I was searching for. I was selecting a higher end pillow as I have struggled with neck / shoulder pain and department store pillows will no longer work for me. Wendy taught me the proper way to lay on a pillow and body placement to help my specific issues. The entire transaction was really nice. Wendy made me feel very comfortable (laying down on a mattress can make you feel a little awkward!) and describing the differences in the pillows available, the construction, the options as well as the correct height. I feel like with her help, I was able to make the perfect choice! I’m so excited to actually have a good nights sleep!

I have been considering new furniture for a couple of years and my sales professional, Jason, took the time to understand what was important in my purchasing decisions and helped me finally make it happen. It was a wonderful shopping experience.

Completely shocked when I walked in the store, for the first time ever, and the man there greeted me by name. Took a sec but then recognized lil Marcus Shepard that I grew up with. Pleasant surprise. We caught up as I showed him a pic of my table and explained I was looking for chairs to compliment it. We looked at several options and even grabbed a cple different ones for the captains chairs that worked well with the table and other 4 chairs we picked out. Made it easy, was very helpful with an honest opinion, and got what I needed for a good price! Go see Marcus, he knows his stuff! Thanks bud!

Went to purchase new bed. Alfred, our Salesperson, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to answer my questions, provide recommendations and give additional information that was very helpful in making a decision. This was the second purchase we’ve made from Ashley within the past few months and both experiences were great. I didn’t find the team to be pushy at all and they allowed me my time to look, but yet available when I had questions.

Got a great deal on the bed I wanted. Staff was great, funny and helpful. Nick helped with my order and did a great job. I will be back for more furniture in the near future :)

I was looking for a very particular item at the Kentwood MI store and salesperson, Alfred, went above and beyond helping me find it! I ended up buying a couple more pieces of accent furniture to bring my look together. High Five! 🙌

Furniture stores can be uncomfortable to shop. Let’s be real, we’ve all been there. Today, not the case one bit. Michael was super helpful, he was very professional yet very personable, a genuine kind human. He can rock a pair of suspenders too! We honestly went to look to gather ideas, we had no intention to purchase today. Michael was very attentive to our style, he showed us pieces not only in the store but also online after hearing what we were looking for, and even measured chairs and the couch for us. Being able to sit in the furniture you’re going to invest in changes things, especially with help from people that genuinely invest in you and your needs (which is a rare thing these days). He gave us the opportunity to wander and did not suffocate or follow us. Product availability is also very reasonable. We were impressed with the quality and variety of styles offered, but most importantly felt welcomed and treated as a person, not a sale. Michael, thank you for all your help and patience, you are a true gem. People like you are rare in the sales and customer service industry.

We purchase a sectional and additional items at this location and were told we could purchase a lifetime warranty for the item. Well when it came time to file a claim for loose seams the third party who handles the claims does not cover that. The store associate lied to us about what this covers and had we known we would have not paid or signed up for a protection plan that doesn't actually cover anything. Associates don't care they will offer an apology but in the same sentence day we can have it fix if you want to pay out of pocket for it when the sectional alone was 4grand.. horrible quality items, horrible customer service, horrible management, horrible third party vendor. Would never buy a single item from this company.

Mike was very helpful, knowledgeable and very clear and concise about what we were looking at. It was a very customer based service experience with lack of “sale sharks”, we've all grown to expect in the furniture buying process. My fiancé being a veteran was thanked by all of the sales associates for his service along with a few other great benefits for those who served. We’ve not yet gotten the furniture in home to share our experience with that, but we are very pleased with the overall service we received thus far.

Very welcoming, extremely knowledgable and helpful and gave advice when offered but knew when to let us make our own decisions. He was the sole reason we chose to buy with Ashley and we will continue to purchase through them and their excellent customer service. On another day when they were quite busy, his manager Graham helped set us up, was very welcoming, and knowledgable and also enhanced the experience. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone looking for furniture to shop through Ashley, and most importantly work with Jedha.

Being a Veteran and having a few issues I like to be alone. I don't like crowds and can't deal with pushy salesmen. I am remodeling my home and need furniture, so I shopped online but you really need to sit in it and look at it in person. So I have to leave my safety net and adventure out. I took my youngest son and went to a few stores and almost threw in the towel, but we decide one more store. We walked into Ashley Furniture and meet Michael wearing suspenders and is also a Vet. I'm telling you if you need a salesman who doesn't act like a salesman and makes you feel like he is there to help see Michael. He announced himself before he was 2ft in front of me, which really helped. Very down to earth guy didn't try to impress me with a hero story or ask me about mine. He saved me some money and we had a good conversation. He politely asked if they could take my pic for their hero wall and ring a gong after the sale and I declined. The last thing I wanted is attention, they don't need a crying Vet in their store. If you have PTSD and have trouble shopping for furniture go see Michael. Thank you Michael

I am a frequent customer of this store. I bought a foundation and a mattress less than a year ago and the foundation broke. I went to the store to find out if there was some sort of insurance or warranty on the box spring/foundation and I was told no. Then I asked to purchase a new one. The young lady who was given the task of helping me only said to me, "We don't have any on clearance." This was quite an odd remark since they had just pulled up all of my prior purchases which were approximately $10,000. I asked her why she would say that to me. From the blank look on her face I knew exactly why. I'm a Black woman. On my way out, I was asked by a manager if there was anything they could do to rectify the situation. I said that they could send me an apology letter. It never came. I understand that people's bias and racism get in the way of their business decisions sometimes, and I have worked with multiple White sales agents at the store who have treated me with respect, but when something like this happens, it is important to rectify these situations and make sure the staff person who did this is trained better. That part is the fault of Ashley home furniture. I have since bought additional sofas from a competitor simply because of this incident and they will lose more business when they allow people to make assumptions about their clients.

When we came in the next day, although they did not have it in store to look at, he offered to show us the material, color options, and similar products.
