We stopped at Ashley furniture looking for a new recliner, stopped at the front desk, Phoenix was on duty there, asked us a few questions took us back to the recliner section. I tried several recliners, found one that fit my back. Phoenix wrote us up and we were back out the door. Phoenix did a great job. We are awaiting the recliner to be shipped in.

We had a great experience working with Phoenix our sales rep. Me and my wife had been to nearly every furniture store in the Grand Rapids area including multiple Ashley locations and all the other major and small brand stores. We were in search for a reclining sofa couch. We finally found one in your store. Phoenix was very helpful , knowledgeable and no pressure. He worked hard to get us the best out the door price and to make sure we had some coverage on any future maintenance needs for our new investment. Once all questions were answered and we decided on our sofa recliner and single recliner. Phoenix got right to work on making our purchase final so that we could get on with our day. He had all the paperwork wrapped up quickly and accurate. This was a win win! Low pressure sales but being very available and helpful in answering all our questions was key in why we chose to purchase with Phoenix and this location. As mentioned in the beginning of my comments we had been to a lot of furniture stores over the course of several weeks. I was very happy with working with Phoenix and we happy to have our evenings and weekends back now that we have finally found what we we where looking for. After having a surgery for cancer and paying for a delivery service I asked if they could please move the couch just a few feet back. They refused. I spent the next several hours pushing my couch one foot at a time against medical advice. I can’t understand the coldness and hope that someone from Corporate will see this.

We had an amazing experience purchasing our couch from Ashley HomeStore, from the moment we walked in, Aletha was welcoming, knowledgeable, and never pushy. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect couch for my space and budget. The selection was fantastic, with so many styles and fabrics to choose from. The quality is outstanding-sturdy, well-made, and incredibly cozy. In addition the delivery was smooth and right on time, and the team was professional and careful with everything. Overall, the entire process-from browsing to delivery-was seamless and enjoyable.

Came in, told them we are there just looking. Didn’t smother us just left us alone came and checked in later we had some questions, Alfred answered them and showed us exactly what we wanted! Made the whole process very quick and easy!

Lots of staff standing about, didn't know prices of items in their store, ridiculously overpriced "sale" items. Not impressed.

If I could give Alfred 10 stars, I would... he was great to work with. All the folks at the store were very professional, polite and friendly. As for the delivery and distribution center, they get a ZERO. Today is Friday, 23 January 2026 and the couch and loveseat that I ordered on 8 Dedember 2025, was suppose to be delivered today. Time slot was suppose to be between 10:30am and 12:30pm. I received a call at 1:05pm informing me that due to the weather and being short staffed that they would not be able to make it. I reached out on Monday, 19 January to see if they could deliver earlier than what was scheduled, because of the weather forecast over the next five days. I expressed my concerns. So now I have to wait another 2 weeks for delivery in a livingroom without anything to sit on, because I had my old furniture hauled off. Not to mention, I gave up a day of work waiting on this delivery. Thanks,

Brennan was SO amazing to work with! We stopped in Wednesday night just to shop around and we were greeted by Brennan and almost immediately knew this was going to be a great experience. Brennan was knowledgeable, thorough, and so kind; I tend to be very picky and don’t like to stray from what I like and Brennan made sure to listen to what we were looking for and did everything in his power to make sure we walked out loving our purchase. Thursday night we went back and Brennan helped us through our final decision and my MANY questions. He was thorough with paperwork as well and made sure to explain everything to us so we weren’t left with any questions. Safe to say we’ll be back in the future for any furniture purchases, if I could give 10 stars I absolutely would! Go see Brennan, you won’t be disappointed!

I was acknowledged when I walked into the store. They asked me what I was looking to for pointing me in the right direction: then said he would have a sales person come and check up on me. My salesman, Aaron, made sure I was able to find what I was looking for in the right area. He had good suggestions. explained the product and was not a pressured sale. Closing of the paperwork was very easy he explained my invoice the options of delivery and explain the warranty that I purchased.

Tell Pam it’s creepy to follow people and stand 2 feet behind them when they say they are just looking. Way too much pressure in this store. We end up just leaving because of the sales people.

Rob, my salesman was great. The issue, and the reason I’m giving 2 stars, is I can’t seem to get my sectional delivered. I started contacting my salesman a week ago (and every day since) and still have not heard from the delivery schedulers. Ashley obviously only cares about the sale. 😡

We are now home with our new recliner after buying from Aletha at the Grandville store. We are more then pleased with this entire experience and the product. Aletha was extremely polite, very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with throughout this purchase. I am quite impressed. It's one thing to walk into a store and try out a number of different recliners but quite another story once you get it home, see it and experience it in your own environment. My first experience here & it was absolutely amazing. They have amazing people ready to help right when you first come in, & Miss Pamelaaaaaaa was definitely on it. She was relatable, funny, & truly a big help from when my roommate and I first walked in. We are new renters and don’t know how to furnish an apartment at all😂. She sat with us, looked at some of our inspo on Pinterest and even showed us what we could do to work within our budget. The advice she gave us was extremely helpful & gave me some deep insight on how it’s usually best to stick with one place when it comes to your staple piece furniture & the best way to work around it with accessories. She IS so sweet & patient, like EXTREMELY patient dealing with two indecisive young girls in their 20’s. Truly a blessing meeting her, I usually don’t even write reviews- I just had to brag on my girl, Pamela. 5 stars for miss Pam & Ashley Furniture!

My mom and I walked into Ashley Home Furniture looking for a queen or king size bed for my first apartment. Aletha, the store associate who assisted us the entire time, was informative and honest. She took into account all of my comfort preferences and pain issues when showing us the options. She gave me real expectations for return policies and warranties, the delivery and set-up process while working diligently to get me a few different estimates. The whole time she reassured me we would find something comfortable with an affordable price point. I had a great experience shopping with Aletha with her expertise and great energy. I'm excited to receive my bed made just for me.

Stopped in yesterday as I am in the search for a new sectional. Immediately was greeted by someone named Mike who showed us a sectional. The sectional in question was almost 5k. When I made a comment about the high pricing, and that for that kind of money I could spend a little more for a lazy boy, he argued back and forth with me for a bit before walking away and saying "then why are you even here???" After that, we were approached by Phoenix who was super sweet but I had already had a bad taste in my mouth & was not interested in being there.

Our bedroom set is nice. But the purchasing experience was a major pain. Hounded by sales people the second you walk in the door, and you don't get more than 5 minutes before they circle back around. Upon our second visit we went knowing exactly what to buy. We had to wait over an hour for paperwork or something. It took less time than signing papers for our house and car combined than it did to buy a bedroom set. Delivery was quick, they estimated 4-6 weeks, we received our bedroom set on the low end, maybe 3.5 weeks so that was nice. We bought the full kristiland set, super solid and heavy, so far so good with it and it looks great!

I trusted Ashley Furniture in Grandville, Michigan with my daughter’s health and comfort, and they failed us. The mattress I bought already has a 1.25” sink that is worsening my daughter’s back issues. When I filed a warranty claim, Ashley denied it because their policy only covers 1.5” sinks. So now, Ashley Furniture is essentially saying my child’s pain doesn’t matter because the mattress hasn’t collapsed “enough” yet. This isn’t just about policy — it’s about doing what’s right. If I could give zero stars I would. This company has been holding my furniture hostage for the last month sitting in their warehouse and I keep getting the run around on a delivery date. Everyone that says they will call back and give me a date never does. This is the worst experience and I will never order from this company again. I’m about to tell them to give me all of my money back and keep their furniture and I’ll go somewhere else bc they got there kickback and they don’t care that I still haven’t recieved my furniture.

We came in looking for a dresser for our bedroom. Upon entering, we were greeted and told about the sale event going on. While browsing we were approached several times to see if we needed help or wanted any refreshments. When we found the dresser we wanted, Aletha helped us out. Aletha was honest, energetic, and helpful. The dresser we purchased was discounted as it had some imperfections. Aletha wanted to make sure we were aware of these imperfections and gave us time to discuss privately whether we wanted to continue with the purchase or not. Aletha and the Ashley team made us feel comfortable and valued.

As soon as I walk through the door of Ashley's furniture I felt seen. From the door to every area of the building I was looking for a bed for my grandson and they even included him. He was there and Suzette was awesome with us. She was awesome with DJ. They didn't treat us like second class citizens. I loved it. What a great experience. I just shopped at the Grandville, MI Ashley furniture store and what an amazing experience. What I enjoyed about the process was is that they allowed me to just look around at my own pace to start and then eventually approached me to ask me what they could assist me with. They listened to exactly what I was looking for and they were very informative. My salesman was Chris Green and he was very knowledgeable but not over-the-top pushy -like many stores where the pounce on you when you walk in. I would definitely recommend going to the Grandville store over the 28th St. store. In addition the Grandville store also has the outlet center, which is a plus . Overall it a was a great experience. They had a lot of very good furniture options from very affordable to very high-end. Kudos to The Ashley Grandville store and to my sales person, Chris Green.

We were greeted at the door by Aron. He was dressed very professionally and greeted us warmly. Took us to the sofas we were interested in (Boyington) and talked us through all the deets. We told him we had sent elsewhere, but in color we didn’t like, and he anticipated our question about price matching. He even showed us an alternative which was similar to the Boyington, with most of the same features. It took us a couple of days, but we settled on two Boyington reclining sofas in black leather, and Aron took us through to the end of the transaction. Also met Tyler at the front desk. Both gentlemen were very professional and very grateful for our business. We are waiting for our delivery, but wanted to put this positive review out there for anyone else who is considering going to Ashley Furniture in Grandville. They will take care of you, 100%!

We just had the most incredible experience today while shopping for a new dining table. We were at the Ashley Store here In Grandville Michigan being helped by a brand new salesgal Elena, and she asked if either of us served in the military. Of course Bear said yes! She told us that entitled us to free red glove delivery ! Woohoo Well when we went up to the counter to pay, The manager told Elena to hit the gong, well Elena being new tapped the brass gong and he said “no hit it” she did and all of a sudden every salesperson, warehouse person and owner came out to thank Bear for his service and thanked me for supporting him. Everyone of them shook our hands and genuinely thanked us. Then they even took that big guy’s picture and let me tell you, he was standing tall! And we found the exact table I wanted!

I haven’t bought furniture in almost 20yrs and went to Ashley today. We walked in and were greeted by Nikole. In my opinion, Nikole was an excellent salesperson. I had a great experience with Ashley’s. Lozy was very patient with me as I was trying to make the decision of which dining room table to purchase. She also walked throughout the store with us several times as we were trying to find the right lamps for my parents’ house. I never felt pressured or rushed at all. They also kept my daughter entertained by giving her snacks and letting her keep a balloon. This was a wonderful place to work with and I will absolutely go there for my future furniture needs.

I had a wonderful experience with Nikole at Ashley Furniture. I found a CHOFA and a powered theater recliner that was a buy me now moment!!! Nikole was super patient with the two of us shopping as we decided on what we wanted vs what we needed. Ha. I asked lots of questions and she had all the answers or inquired when needed to answer our questions. I had no intention of buying any furniture. I was simply the driver turned buyer. Ha!!! We recently had the pleasure of working with Robb at the store in Grandville/ Wyoming, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment we walked in he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. What stood out the most was the time he took to listen carefully to our specific requests and preferences, ensuring we found exactly what we were looking for. Instead of pushing us towards the most expensive options, he genuinely wanted to help us find the perfect pieces that fit our needs and budget.

Raciel is an expert! I walked in and was greeted with a smile. He answered all my questions without being pushy. I never felt any pressure — just that he helping me to make an informed decision. He even went above and beyond and sketched my room so I knew the furniture I was getting would look immaculate in my space. Needless to say — if you’re shopping at Ashley, ask for Raciel!

Bird helped me find what I was looking for by listening to my needs, expectations and desire in a living room set.

The store delivered a damaged dresser. They initially refused to replace the damaged items with a new item. After several conversations, they agreed to a replacement only to then deliver a lesser value item. They never intend to make the customer whole. They force you to accept damaged items that they then come out and repairs only to tell you their repair is restoring the item to "new." The delivery drivers do not wear shoe covers,they damage entryway rugs. After two attempts to deliver the dresser, they still could not deliver an undamaged product.When they offer a refund, it does not include the delivery charge. Ashley Home Store is awful. Went to Talsma, and they delivered a new dresser the same week it was purchased.

From the moment I walked in to the store I was Greeted by Nicole. After hearing what I was looking for, she attempted to find the loveseat to no avail. She then checked with other branches of Ashley, once again no luck there either.she did not pressure me to consider other pieces but she did point out some beautiful furniture. Returned the next day and placed an order 3 other people helped me and the process was simple, pleasant and quick, after a couple of issues dealing with Internet sales that may have frustrated some sales people everyone involved at the Grandville Ashley handled the situation with a pleasant professional manner, placing my comfort and experience at the utmost importance. I tell anyone looking for home furnishings to shop Ashley in Grandville.

Hi! We purchased a sectional couch from this store with Debra Fox a few years ago. We purchased the 5 year warranty because we were told the warranty covers everything. We just recently put in a claim and got the ring around for about a month just to be denied. Our zipper is ripped on our chaise and our cushion seams are not looking good. There is only 2 people living in our home and we take very good care of our couch so the only solution is that this couch is just poor quality. We are very upset that we wasted our money on a $200 warranty. We could have used that money to purchase new casings for our couch. I understand that the store has nothing to do with the warranty company denying us but they are the ones who decided to use Montage which is a horrible warranty company.

My fiance and I shopped at the Ashley store in Grandville today for a new couch. Kim Ross did an amazing job assisting us, she gave great suggestions and was very informative with the details of the couches and care plans and financing. We are very excited for our new couch!!

We visited the Grandville location on 10/20 and purchased a king size bed, two nightstands, and a dresser. We were given 6-8weeks in person because things were coming in quickly but to be safe had the original 10-12 week frame written on the invoice. Either way we are at week 12 so I called for an update just to be told it’s looking like mid-end February for our furniture to be in and that they are sorry. Greg said he’d speak with a manager. Greg finally called back (after me calling the store and speaking with another salesman) and told me there’s nothing they can do to expedite our order. I was however given the option to get the floor model and one nightstand for $300 off. What a slap in the face! It is a cream upholstered bed which has been collecting dust in their store and all they can do is give me $300 off? He then told me they are getting rid of floor models to make room for new ones. So they are going to sell that bed for a cheaper amount anyways!!! So no compensation for our troubles, and no for sure date!!! What an awful company! I highly advise NOT SHOPPING HERE EVER!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was my first experience with Ashley and never again. Everything was great while I was in the store at the Grandville, MI location and they wanted my money. But it has been a nightmare since I brought everything home. We bought two purple mattress sets with a base and all of the accessories (sheets, pillows and mattress covers). 1. No big deal, but we went to pick our order up and one of the bed frames was incorrect. They caught it after we were about 10 minutes away, so we turned back around to get the correct bed frame. 2. The next day when we went to set up the beds, we noticed the bed frames were not what we wanted. We thought we bought the purple base, but it was not the one with the anti-gravity button that we thought we were getting. After speaking to a head salesperson and him speaking to the store manager, we were told to go ahead and set everything up and they would get back with us. I was told the store manager was going to talk to our salesperson and email her and that the salesperson would get back with us the next day when she was back to work. 3. The next day, the salesperson never returned my call. So before closing, I called her, and she claims nobody spoke to her and she did not know about my problem. She claims she did not know that was the base I wanted. So, they offered me $50 off to upgrade my base. I spent $13,000- $50 off?! My husband has a bad back is why we specifically wanted this base, so we went ahead and ordered a new base. 4. The bed sheets we ordered came and was not the correct color. 4. Today, I go to pick up my base and was told the base I was returning was an Ashley base and not a purple base. My next concern is the warranty. The salesperson told up purple had a 10-year warranty on everything. We were very specific and asked about this. The salesperson said the beds are 10-year warranty. So, when we were going to buy the purple base, we asked what the warranty was on the base, and she told us 10-year warranty. I called the store today and was told the motor on the base is warranty 5 years but after that, it's just limited on other parts. The Ashley frame that was sold to us is only a 3 year warranty. If the salesperson thought we wanted the cheaper one, why did they keep telling us it was 10-year warranty? -I understand how warranty works and am not mad that it is only 5 years warrantied. I am more upset that I was lied to about so many things. I wouldn't have paid $1000 for a bed base that wasn't warrantied for 10 years. Our salesperson is not new, so it was not misinformation. It was just pure greed and deceiving. Sad that salespeople don't care about us and only their commission and paycheck. I will NEVER go to Ashley again. I understand things can go wrong, but for everything to go wrong??!? Never again. -Store manager is supposed to call me tomorrow. We will see if that happens.

Rasiel was very helpful in our couch shopping experience. He answered all of our questions wonderfully. He wasn’t pushy, and gave us opportunities to browse and talk on our own. Price definitely matters, but he sold us Value…that’s what matters!

We had the best experience with Kim. She was very helpful and not at all pushy when we weren’t ready to get the furniture. We came back and purchased everything when it was the right time. She was helpful throughout the entire process.

She's unassuming, doesn't purposely up sell, listened to our needs, only showed us what was in the range that we asked for, upfront, honest, personable, relatable, patient, and practical. Not once did we feel negated. I can't say enough about this person and her personality. I got all the things I was looking for. I highly recommend working with her!

Recently purchased a new couch and ottoman from this location. Greg was the gentleman that worked with us from start to finish. Very professional, informative, and made the time in the store enjoyable. There was no feeling of being pressured - only that of Greg making sure we knew what options might be available for each piece of furniture and his thoughts of what might be better for their needs or which selections were just fine for their budget and requirements. I would certainly visit the store again in the future and work with Greg.

Before I begin, let me acknowledge up front that this review is being written before the delivery of our furniture, which won't be for some weeks yet. (Which is fine). But, I just had to take the opportunity to say, much like others have already said about him here... Rob is a sales rep at Ashley Furniture that is friendly, and knows his stuff. He made the entire sale process go about as smooth as a person could ask for. Plus, the furniture we bought was sure a nice shade of teal color. And, it was just plain great to FINALLY be able to get around to buying a replacement for our current couch, which has DEFINITELY seen better days. Plus, we also bought a replacement easy chair (Which is called an "oversized chair" for the particular one that goes with that set), and the matching ottoman to go with it. So, at this point, since things were handled perfectly at the time of purchase, the only thing remaining now is to receive our new furniture, which is estimated to be between 3-5 weeks. We definitely look forward to it. And, as long as things go well enough for that part of the process, my current review of 5 stars out of 5 will stand. Otherwise, I will, of course, update this review if the need should arise due to any problems with delivery. Either way, Rob seems like a nice guy who really makes you feel welcome in the store.
