I had a wonderful experience with Nikole at Ashley Furniture. I found a CHOFA and a powered theater recliner that was a buy me now moment!!! Nikole was super patient with the two of us shopping as we decided on what we wanted vs what we needed. Ha. I asked lots of questions and she had all the answers or inquired when needed to answer our questions. I had no intention of buying any furniture. I was simply the driver turned buyer. Ha!!! Nikole made the purchase enjoyable and was thorough, she supplied us with frosty beverages too. Furniture shopping had challenging choices for me. When I wasn't sure about mixing colors she thoughtfully brought over the chofa pillows to place on the theater chair to see how nicely they matched. I was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to receive my furniture and I will definitely return to have her help me discern what suits my taste and space best!!!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Robb at the store in Grandville/ Wyoming, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment we walked in he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. What stood out the most was the time he took to listen carefully to our specific requests and preferences, ensuring we found exactly what we were looking for. Instead of pushing us towards the most expensive options, he genuinely wanted to help us find the perfect pieces that fit our needs and budget.

Raciel is an expert! I walked in and was greeted with a smile. He answered all my questions without being pushy. I never felt any pressure — just that he helping me to make an informed decision. He even went above and beyond and sketched my room so I knew the furniture I was getting would look immaculate in my space. Needless to say — if you’re shopping at Ashley, ask for Raciel!

Bird helped me find what I was looking for by listening to my needs, expectations and desire in a living room set.

The store delivered a damaged dresser. They initially refused to replace the damaged items with a new item. After several conversations, they agreed to a replacement only to then deliver a lesser value item. They never intend to make the customer whole, they force you to accept damaged items that they then come out and repairs only to tell you their repair is restoring the item to "new". The delivery drivers do not wear shoe covers, they damage entryway rugs. Ashley Home Store is awful. Try Talsma!

From the moment I walked in to the store I was Greeted by Nicole. After hearing what I was looking for, she attempted to find the loveseat to no avail. She then checked with other branches of Ashley, once again no luck there either.she did not pressure me to consider other pieces but she did point out some beautiful furniture. Returned the next day and placed an order 3 other people helped me and the process was simple, pleasant and quick, after a couple of issues dealing with Internet sales that may have frustrated some sales people everyone involved at the Grandville Ashley handled the situation with a pleasant professional manner, placing my comfort and experience at the utmost importance. I tell anyone looking for home furnishings to shop Ashley in Grandville.

Came in to look around, had some ideas in mind of what we wanted. Looked around and saw what we liked within 20 minutes. Unfortunately we did have to find someone to help us as they were either with other clients or doing other things, but once I found someone, Mike helped us out right away and was incredibly friendly and professional! 10/10 service from Mike! Hi! We purchased a sectional couch from this store with Debra Fox a few years ago. We purchased the 5 year warranty because we were told the warranty covers everything. We just recently put in a claim and got the ring around for about a month just to be denied. Our zipper is ripped on our chaise and our cushion seams are not looking good. There is only 2 people living in our home and we take very good care of our couch so the only solution is that this couch is just poor quality. We are very upset that we wasted our money on a $200 warranty. We could have used that money to purchase new casings for our couch. I understand that the store has nothing to do with the warranty company denying us but they are the ones who decided to use Montage which is a horrible warranty company.

My fiance and I shopped at the Ashley store in Grandville today for a new couch. Kim Ross did an amazing job assisting us, she gave great suggestions and was very informative with the details of the couches and care plans and financing. We are very excited for our new couch!!

We visited the Grandville location on 10/20 and purchased a king size bed, two nightstands, and a dresser. We were given 6-8weeks in person because things were coming in quickly but to be safe had the original 10-12 week frame written on the invoice. Either way we are at week 12 so I called for an update just to be told it’s looking like mid-end February for our furniture to be in and that they are sorry. Greg said he’d speak with a manager. Greg finally called back (after me calling the store and speaking with another salesman) and told me there’s nothing they can do to expedite our order. I was however given the option to get the floor model and one nightstand for $300 off. What a slap in the face! It is a cream upholstered bed which has been collecting dust in their store and all they can do is give me $300 off? He then told me they are getting rid of floor models to make room for new ones. So they are going to sell that bed for a cheaper amount anyways!!! So no compensation for our troubles, and no for sure date!!! What an awful company! I highly advise NOT SHOPPING HERE EVER!!!

I came in twice and Lozy greeted me both times. She was amazingly cheerful and friendly as well as being helpful. We did end up purchasing some dry route and she made the process very easy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was my first experience with Ashley and never again. Everything was great while I was in the store at the Grandville, MI location and they wanted my money. But it has been a nightmare since I brought everything home. We bought two purple mattress sets with a base and all of the accessories (sheets, pillows and mattress covers). 1. No big deal, but we went to pick our order up and one of the bed frames was incorrect. They caught it after we were about 10 minutes away, so we turned back around to get the correct bed frame. 2. The next day when we went to set up the beds, we noticed the bed frames were not what we wanted. We thought we bought the purple base, but it was not the one with the anti-gravity button that we thought we were getting. After speaking to a head salesperson and him speaking to the store manager, we were told to go ahead and set everything up and they would get back with us. I was told the store manager was going to talk to our salesperson and email her and that the salesperson would get back with us the next day when she was back to work. 3. The next day, the salesperson never returned my call. So before closing, I called her, and she claims nobody spoke to her and she did not know about my problem. She claims she did not know that was the base I wanted. So, they offered me $50 off to upgrade my base. I spent $13,000- $50 off?! My husband has a bad back is why we specifically wanted this base, so we went ahead and ordered a new base. 4. The bed sheets we ordered came and was not the correct color. 4. Today, I go to pick up my base and was told the base I was returning was an Ashley base and not a purple base. My next concern is the warranty. The salesperson told up purple had a 10-year warranty on everything. We were very specific and asked about this. The salesperson said the beds are 10-year warranty. So, when we were going to buy the purple base, we asked what the warranty was on the base, and she told us 10-year warranty. I called the store today and was told the motor on the base is warranty 5 years but after that, it's just limited on other parts. The Ashley frame that was sold to us is only a 3 year warranty. If the salesperson thought we wanted the cheaper one, why did they keep telling us it was 10-year warranty? -I understand how warranty works and am not mad that it is only 5 years warrantied. I am more upset that I was lied to about so many things. I wouldn't have paid $1000 for a bed base that wasn't warrantied for 10 years. Our salesperson is not new, so it was not misinformation. It was just pure greed and deceiving. Sad that salespeople don't care about us and only their commission and paycheck. I will NEVER go to Ashley again. I understand things can go wrong, but for everything to go wrong??!? Never again. -Store manager is supposed to call me tomorrow. We will see if that happens.

Recently purchased a new couch and ottoman from this location. Greg was the gentleman that worked with us from start to finish. Very professional, informative, and made the time in the store enjoyable. There was no feeling of being pressured - only that of Greg making sure we knew what options might be available for each piece of furniture and his thoughts of what might be better for their needs or which selections were just fine for their budget and requirements. Before I begin, let me acknowledge up front that this review is being written before the delivery of our furniture, which won't be for some weeks yet. (Which is fine). But, I just had to take the opportunity to say, much like others have already said about him here... Rob is a sales rep at Ashley Furniture that is friendly, and knows his stuff. He made the entire sale process go about as smooth as a person could ask for. Plus, the furniture we bought was sure a nice shade of teal color. And, it was just plain great to FINALLY be able to get around to buying a replacement for our current couch, which has DEFINITELY seen better days. Plus, we also bought a replacement easy chair (Which is called an "oversized chair" for the particular one that goes with that set), and the matching ottoman to go with it. So, at this point, since things were handled perfectly at the time of purchase, the only thing remaining now is to receive our new furniture, which is estimated to be between 3-5 weeks. We definitely look forward to it. And, as long as things go well enough for that part of the process, my current review of 5 stars out of 5 will stand. Otherwise, I will, of course, update this review if the need should arise due to any problems with delivery. Either way, Rob seems like a nice guy who really makes you feel welcome in the store.

We had a great experience at Ashley Furniture in Grandville/Wyoming. Bird was our sales associate, and while going through the signatures and dollar signs, she drew little thumbnail portraits of us. The knowledge she has that helped us find the perfect fit that meets the needs of our family was impressive. She also has a great sense of humor. If you need furniture, I highly recommend the company, this location, and Bird.

1st off our sale guy Rob was amazing. We have no issues with him. However we have had our furniture that was not cheap for just over a full month and we are not happy with the chair. It sits and looks completely different than the floor model we sat in. Rob did help us make a claim to add more filling to the back of the chair, which helped very little. My husband called because something is still not right with the chair. So we wanted to see if more filling in the back would help, and the seat material is all pulled up. But they told him sorry it is not covered under your warranty. We are very disappointed. The arms of the chair are not made even either, one side is flat while the other is more full and rounded.

Just over 2 years ago i bought my first brand new couch, and chair with ottoman. Loved this set but the ottoman keeps sagging to one side. They were so nice and fixed it after i had it for almost a year. Now a year later it's doing it again and looks terrible. Now I'm stuck with this pathetic looking ottoman. All they could do is tell me "nothing lasts forever these days" basically telling me their products are garbage and are not going to last. So i wouldn't waste your time unless you want furniture that will only last for a few years. Save yourself the headache and don't waste your time and money. Update.... a manager called me and was super nice, she actually listened to what i had to say and was willing to work with me.

Can’t get a call back so! I was told part of my order was in by Greg! Said items would ship as they came in. Then they sold the item I purchased to someone else. I called and talked to a manager and he said all my items were in and the deliver staff will be calling and delivery will be next week. Well the week came and went no call nothing. So I call yesterday and they say nothing is in! I asked to talk to manager and none available. So the lady said I’m going to email the managers and have they call you right away! So almost two days now and no call back! Customer service doesn’t exist any more!

Beware - Deceptive Sales Tactics and No Accountability In August of 2023, we purchased a Sealy mattress from the Grandville, MI Ashley Home Store. As we were trying mattresses and working with the sales person (Tom), we were told that they would cover any body indents that developed as long as we purchased their mattress cover. By February, the mattress had become unsupportive, and had an indent, so we started the claim process. It was at this point that we learned that the claim process requires measurements that unfairly benefit the manufacturer. You have to measure the indent to the top layer of fabric only. This measurement does nothing to show the degradation of the materials within the mattress, and the fabric stretches across the indent. I even took pictures with a 45lb weight sitting in the middle of the mattress and another 45lb weight sitting in the indent, measured the difference in deflection, and provided that to Ashley's Claim center. They did not accept these pictures and said my claim is denied. Do not fall for this company's sales tactics, they do not stand behind their products, and have no accountability after they make the sale! Edit - even after getting the claim approved by Sealy, this business is not offering a refund, only in store credit. They are terrible to work with beyond the initial sale, I would highly suggest shopping elsewhere.

I just ordered some furniture from the Ashley Store and I was very thankful for the no pressure sales team! Raciel and the manager (can't believe I forgot his name!) we're extremely helpful and patient with our many, many questions. If they didn't know the answer, they worked to find the answers. I appreciate that instead of just hearing, I don't know or making something up. I'm really excited to get my Tempur-Pedic mattress with adjustable base. It's something I've wanted for a long time. The leather sofa I ordered was a great price and I think it will look great in my house. I wanted something durable and with attached back cushions. They showed me several options and really listened to what I wanted. I would recommend this store.

My husband and I went into the Grandville store on a Saturday. As soon as we walked through the door, one of the salesmen, Greg, came over and introduced himself to us. He made it seem like he would be available to us if we had any questions and we said we’d take a look around. He literally followed us around the store, seeming like he was messing around on his iPad, but then if we paused to look at a certain set of furniture or to look at the little sign for information, he would immediately come over to us and start spewing information about the colors, designs, etc the piece came in. And then he would stay with us. We had no idea what we were looking for and just wanted to look around and see what there was, get a feel for what we liked and what we were going to need. We told Greg this and asked if we could look around on our own, however, he came right back to us at the very next set of furniture we came to. I wasn’t even comfortable sitting on the furniture or speaking openly to my husband about our likes/dislikes with Greg just hanging around. When we finally found something we liked, he made a few comments like “wow, it took looking at the whole store for you to finally find one”, and “I took care of three other customers in the time you were here”. At that point, I didn’t even want to buy the furniture because this was coming from the guy who couldn’t just let us look on our own. There is nothing that is a bigger turnoff than a pushy salesperson. Fast forward three weeks, I called the distribution warehouse to check on the order status and our furniture was there. Not sure how long it had been sitting there or when they were going to call us… I picked up the furniture the same day, only to unpack it at home and find that they had sent us home with the wrong chair. It was after hours at that point, so I called and left a message, asking for someone to call me the following day. The following day, I called first thing in the morning and was told that they would “check to see when they would have the correct chair available to exchange for the one we’d received. I said no, I wasn’t driving 45 minutes to their warehouse again on account of their mistake, and I was told it would be highly unlikely for anything different, considering our original purchase wasn’t delivered. At this point, I’ve called two more times in that same day and haven’t been able to speak with a manager. Once, I was told there was a manager on the line, only to be transferred back to the phone tree. Very disappointed with our experience, to say the least.

Shout out to Rob (great name!) at Ashley Furniture! He was seriously the most patient salesperson we’ve ever had in a furniture store. Helpful with ideas and knew when to give us time to talk things over. Zero pressure too. If you go there, we definitely recommend asking for Rob!!

Was happy to find this store while in the search for an office chair. Greg was a great help and was very friendly and knowledgable. Lozy was great! She approached me after I had wandered around for a few and when I told her I was looking for an area rug for my bedroom, she asked great questions to point me in the best direction. We quickly narrowed it down to a rug that was discounted and perfect for our bedroom. She was friendly without making me feel pressured. A genuine connection that didn't make me feel like a sale.

I wanted to write this review last month but had to figure out how to go to google and do it.This review is for the 2 excellent delivery drivers that delivered my couch. Their names were Taylor and Terry.They were very respectful and curtious when they delivered my furniture They showed me the extra features when they set my couch up and were very careful not to leave a mess and did it quickly and efficiently. Hats off once again to Ashley furniture .Since my last Ashley review, I already went back to my favorite sales person, Gabriel, and bought the ottoman that went with my sofa. If you want a really excellent customer service liason who is not trying to pressure you for a sale but asks questions and gives you the space and time to figure out what's best for you and your family he's the person to go to. Even though he is a younger employee, he has a refreshing approach on how guinune customer service should be giving to the customer.He should teach a master class on how to provide excellent customer service.

My boyfriend and I had Aaron working with us to help us find a bed frame! He was a blast to work with. He made working with him feel very personal and he made it a point to reach out to us when their store had a sale going on so we wouldn’t miss out. After we had purchased our bed frame he reached out to us next day and let us know it was a pleasure working with us and once we receive our bed frame to reach out again letting him know how assembling it went! Overall a 10/10 experience!

We went into the Grandville location with no intentions on purchasing furniture. We were greeted by Sam who let us know what all is in stock and let us shop - which we loved, we don’t typically like being hounded on when just browsing for furniture for our new condo. As we peeked around we stumbled upon 2 bedroom furniture sets we loved and along that we even tested out some mattresses with Rob who explained all the important factors when shopping for mattresses (it was a fun and great experience) We walked in with no expectations and left happy with furniture pieces that will last us a very long time as new homeowners. Who chaged that today. Raciel Salinas, our salesperson, made the experience of purchasing our Purple Mattress and Adjustable frame very pleasant and hassle free. Kim was awesome! I purchased a couch online and it was unable to be delivered due to the couch being too big for the stairwell up to my apartment unit. I came to this homestore and met with Kim. She listened to the issue and immediately began troubleshooting, looking for a couch that would still fit my budget and style, as well as get up the stairs to my unit. She was patient and kind, which helped me ultimately secure a couch I hope to love! Additionally, other staff members provided assistance to ensure the dimensions would be appropriate for my unit. All and all, this unfortunate situation was turned into a pleasant experience with Kim and the team at Highland River | Ashley Homestore.

Tried to pick up a couch I purchased earlier today and the manager/associates couldn’t be bothered. Wouldn’t acknowledge me. Not a great experience. However once I finally got helped the woman, Alicia in the back was wonderful!

Super friendly, knew the answers to all of my questions, and was willing to give me space when I just wanted to look.

Update: I made this purchase months ago. Now, I was promised that my furniture would be Delivered by April 12. They are now telling me they can’t deliver until Monday. What an inconvenience and frustrating experience! Everytime I contact the store, they would tell me that they would reach back. However, I never get any update. I would NOT recommend this store.

Their care team needs some reevaluating. I originally reviewed Ashley Furniture with 5 stars. Our sales rep was kind, efficient and listened to our goals with our couch. He was great. Our couch was delivered. The delivery guys broke the screen out of our storm door. No big deal, accidents happen. We all took pictures. We tipped the delivery guys and waited to hear from the care team. A few days later the care team reached out told us to either get quotes from someone to come replace it. Or buy a new door submit the receipt and replace it ourselves. Done. We went to the store. Looked at the doors. Picked out what we wanted. We just had to double check measurements. Good thing we didn’t purchase the door because I got a call a few days later asking where the quotes were. Oh don’t worry Ashley furniture. I’m saving us all time and energy. I’m gonna buy this door submit the receipt. You’ll reimburse us and we’ll all go on our merry way. False. They wanted me to submit quotes to replace the glass they broke out of the door. Which was not possible for multiple reasons. After going back and forth with their rep and asking to speak to the decision maker In this whole process they are willing to give me $200 less than the door I submitted because someone somewhere found the cheapest door possible. They will ultimately being paying the same amount of money because they are now paying someone to install the new and dispose of the old door and losing a customer. They could have just reimbursed for the door I picked and I would have been happy. I still would have had to dispose of the broken door myself and taken the time and money to install the door correctly. TLDR: they broke my door and rather than covering the cost of the door I wanted to replace it myself. They dragged it out for almost 3 weeks. Are spending the same amount of money to have someone install a cheap door. Short sighted by them because they lost a customer and got a bad review.

The gentleman that helped me he introduced his self. When I came in the store he let me shop, and I found what I wanted, and I found him can’t think of his name. He was very nice and I’m very pleased with my dining room table set. I’m gonna need two more chairs though, but I’ll talk about that when they deliver my furniture in 2 to 3 weeks.
