She was polite, offered me a bottle of water, provided good information and answered all my questions very promptly. She was so easy to speak to and quite knowledgeable. Within a short period of time, I had decided that I was going to purchase one of the Ashley desks, and she went out of her way to assist me with my purchase. Beware - Deceptive Sales Tactics and No Accountability In August of 2023, we purchased a Sealy mattress from the Grandville, MI Ashley Home Store. As we were trying mattresses and working with the sales person (Tom), we were told that they would cover any body indents that developed as long as we purchased their mattress cover. By February, the mattress had become unsupportive, and had an indent, so we started the claim process. It was at this point that we learned that the claim process requires measurements that unfairly benefit the manufacturer. You have to measure the indent to the top layer of fabric only. This measurement does nothing to show the degradation of the materials within the mattress, and the fabric stretches across the indent. I even took pictures with a 45lb weight sitting in the middle of the mattress and another 45lb weight sitting in the indent, measured the difference in deflection, and provided that to Ashley's Claim center. They did not accept these pictures and said my claim is denied. Do not fall for this company's sales tactics, they do not stand behind their products, and have no accountability after they make the sale! Edit - even after getting the claim approved by Sealy, this business is not offering a refund, only in store credit. They are terrible to work with beyond the initial sale, I would highly suggest shopping elsewhere.

I just ordered some furniture from the Ashley Store and I was very thankful for the no pressure sales team! Raciel and the manager (can't believe I forgot his name!) we're extremely helpful and patient with our many, many questions. If they didn't know the answer, they worked to find the answers. I appreciate that instead of just hearing, I don't know or making something up. I'm really excited to get my Tempur-Pedic mattress with adjustable base. It's something I've wanted for a long time. The leather sofa I ordered was a great price and I think it will look great in my house. I wanted something durable and with attached back cushions. They showed me several options and really listened to what I wanted. I would recommend this store.

My husband and I went into the Grandville store on a Saturday. As soon as we walked through the door, one of the salesmen, Greg, came over and introduced himself to us. He made it seem like he would be available to us if we had any questions and we said we’d take a look around. He literally followed us around the store, seeming like he was messing around on his iPad, but then if we paused to look at a certain set of furniture or to look at the little sign for information, he would immediately come over to us and start spewing information about the colors, designs, etc the piece came in. And then he would stay with us. We had no idea what we were looking for and just wanted to look around and see what there was, get a feel for what we liked and what we were going to need. We told Greg this and asked if we could look around on our own, however, he came right back to us at the very next set of furniture we came to. I wasn’t even comfortable sitting on the furniture or speaking openly to my husband about our likes/dislikes with Greg just hanging around. When we finally found something we liked, he made a few comments like “wow, it took looking at the whole store for you to finally find one”, and “I took care of three other customers in the time you were here”. At that point, I didn’t even want to buy the furniture because this was coming from the guy who couldn’t just let us look on our own. There is nothing that is a bigger turnoff than a pushy salesperson. Fast forward three weeks, I called the distribution warehouse to check on the order status and our furniture was there. Not sure how long it had been sitting there or when they were going to call us… I picked up the furniture the same day, only to unpack it at home and find that they had sent us home with the wrong chair. It was after hours at that point, so I called and left a message, asking for someone to call me the following day. The following day, I called first thing in the morning and was told that they would “check to see when they would have the correct chair available to exchange for the one we’d received. I said no, I wasn’t driving 45 minutes to their warehouse again on account of their mistake, and I was told it would be highly unlikely for anything different, considering our original purchase wasn’t delivered. At this point, I’ve called two more times in that same day and haven’t been able to speak with a manager. Once, I was told there was a manager on the line, only to be transferred back to the phone tree. Very disappointed with our experience, to say the least.

Shout out to Rob (great name!) at Ashley Furniture! He was seriously the most patient salesperson we’ve ever had in a furniture store. Helpful with ideas and knew when to give us time to talk things over. Zero pressure too. If you go there, we definitely recommend asking for Rob!!

Lozy was great! She approached me after I had wandered around for a few and when I told her I was looking for an area rug for my bedroom, she asked great questions to point me in the best direction. Their names were Taylor and Terry.They were very respectful and curtious when they delivered my furniture They showed me the extra features when they set my couch up and were very careful not to leave a mess and did it quickly and efficiently. Hats off once again to Ashley furniture .Since my last Ashley review, I already went back to my favorite sales person, Gabriel, and bought the ottoman that went with my sofa. If you want a really excellent customer service liason who is not trying to pressure you for a sale but asks questions and gives you the space and time to figure out what's best for you and your family he's the person to go to. Even though he is a younger employee, he has a refreshing approach on how guinune customer service should be giving to the customer.He should teach a master class on how to provide excellent customer service.

My boyfriend and I had Aaron working with us to help us find a bed frame! He was a blast to work with. He made working with him feel very personal and he made it a point to reach out to us when their store had a sale going on so we wouldn’t miss out. She was patient and kind, which helped me ultimately secure a couch I hope to love! Additionally, other staff members provided assistance to ensure the dimensions would be appropriate for my unit. All and all, this unfortunate situation was turned into a pleasant experience with Kim and the team at Highland River | Ashley Homestore.

Tried to pick up a couch I purchased earlier today and the manager/associates couldn’t be bothered. Wouldn’t acknowledge me. Not a great experience. However once I finally got helped the woman, Alicia in the back was wonderful!

Super friendly, knew the answers to all of my questions, and was willing to give me space when I just wanted to look.

Update: I made this purchase months ago. Now, I was promised that my furniture would be Delivered by April 12. They are now telling me they can’t deliver until Monday. What an inconvenience and frustrating experience! Everytime I contact the store, they would tell me that they would reach back. However, I never get any update. I would NOT recommend this store.

Their care team needs some reevaluating. I originally reviewed Ashley Furniture with 5 stars. Our sales rep was kind, efficient and listened to our goals with our couch. He was great. Our couch was delivered. The delivery guys broke the screen out of our storm door. No big deal, accidents happen. We all took pictures. We tipped the delivery guys and waited to hear from the care team. A few days later the care team reached out told us to either get quotes from someone to come replace it. Or buy a new door submit the receipt and replace it ourselves. Done. We went to the store. Looked at the doors. Picked out what we wanted. We just had to double check measurements. Good thing we didn’t purchase the door because I got a call a few days later asking where the quotes were. Oh don’t worry Ashley furniture. I’m saving us all time and energy. I’m gonna buy this door submit the receipt. You’ll reimburse us and we’ll all go on our merry way. False. They wanted me to submit quotes to replace the glass they broke out of the door. Which was not possible for multiple reasons. After going back and forth with their rep and asking to speak to the decision maker In this whole process they are willing to give me $200 less than the door I submitted because someone somewhere found the cheapest door possible. They will ultimately being paying the same amount of money because they are now paying someone to install the new and dispose of the old door and losing a customer. They could have just reimbursed for the door I picked and I would have been happy. I still would have had to dispose of the broken door myself and taken the time and money to install the door correctly. TLDR: they broke my door and rather than covering the cost of the door I wanted to replace it myself. They dragged it out for almost 3 weeks. Are spending the same amount of money to have someone install a cheap door. Short sighted by them because they lost a customer and got a bad review.

Call me a typical millennial the way I was thrown off by the idea of a salesperson at first, but Kim was fantastic and we had an amazing buying experience. Fantastic communication (text, email, etc.) to make sure we got the right pieces and everything. Shipping was faster than expected (stuff from other furniture stores took months and was incorrect) and assembly guys were quick. The couch is great and everyone that comes over asks where we got it. Not much of a review guy but we are very satisfied customers.

Good furniture, we're happy with our couch but we were misled about delivery. They said 4 to 6 weeks when I purchased but it took 8. I had to hassle to get that. It was sitting in their warehouse they just didn't have trucks coming our way. That's not my problem though. Customer service is not very good.

Worst experience I have ever had! I told the salesman that the furniture was for my disabled brother (who was with me at the time and does live on his own) I told him that my brother needed it within 2 weeks and we needed it to be assembled when it was delivered! Over a month later and several phone calls later and rude customer service it was finally delivered and then the delivery guys told him because of the brand of furniture they were not allowed to assemble it! I paid extra for the assembly!! I will not be returning to this store or be recommending friends or family to them!!

Had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture. I took my 90 year old dad to buy a new lift chair for my Mom. We were greeted when we walked in and Tom showed us all the chairs available. EVERY time I walk into Ashley Homestore in Grandville, I feel like part of the their family. Angela Sawyer Drozd always greets me with a warm smile. Her upbeat personality is infectious and she always takes care of my every need. I believe in the people that take care of me, I will return the favor, that’s why I won’t be shopping anywhere else but with Angela at Ashley. West Michigan has a genuine superstar on their hands!

Stopped at the Ashley store on Wilson in Grandville with the intention of it being the first of many comparison shopping stops today. I had an at home feeling from the moment I came in. I was greeted and offered beverages right away. After declining, I had asked to just roam around for a bit. He responded promptly to many questions we had over text message after our first visit and was ready to help us when we came back in to make our final selections/purchase. Also, when paying there was an issue with my bank not allowing me to increase my daily spending limit I have set on my card for security so their customer service helped us out and made it so we could pay the majority of it in the store and call the next day to make the remaining payment over the phone. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. We were very impressed and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for furniture or mattresses.

Ashley Store did provided lot of options while choosing sofa with live test experience, and sales representative Angela has helped us find the best couch for us, the ease of selecting, finance and warranty was appreciable

Our experience during the purchasing of furniture was very professional and helpful. Left the store with the positivity of returning for more purchases. Signed up for red carpet delivery which changed thar positivity to never again. The installation was thorough and acceptable. However later that night we discovered 2 missing rings (expensive). We were in contact with store several times ( both on phone and in person) and nothing was done on our behalf.

Everyone was very friendly & willing to help . Angela (our salesperson) was awesome!! She took her time & showed us many items. She explained everything thoroughly. It felt as though we were shopping w/ a friend. No pressure, no hype. Thank you!

Great experience! No pressure from the beginning to the end. All sales associates were busy; but a newer sales mgr acknowledged us and provided great service until he could a sales associate to assist us further. If he didn’t know the answer he was quick to find out. I was also pleased with product knowledge and options that were provided. It wasn’t super pushy. Over the top! Highly recommend! So many different options with various materials, different atmospheres, different room ideas and options. Loved how it was all displayed!

Lozy was the best sales person Ive ever worked with. She was helpful up front without being overbearing at all (which is my BIGGEST pet peeve when walking in a furniture store) She gave us tons of space to make our own decisions, was not pushing at all. Worked with us above and beyond to get us financed. The store manager (sorry I don't recall his name) worked with us as well getting us within financing reach. AND Lozy made sure my husband was honored with a military Thank You from every employee. We both went out of the store in tears.

It took about 60 seconds for someone to greet me when I entered the store. His name was Justin. I am Kim, and I was shopping for a good quality mattress Justin took me into the showroom with tons of them. I didn’t know where to start or what questions to even ask since I hadn’t shopped for one in almost 20 years. Justin started just talking with me telling me about the kinds of matresses available and what brands he had. I could see his passion about his customers getting a truly good night of sleep. By just listening to him he was giving me answers and ideas about questions I didn’t even know I should ask! Very kind, sincere and very knowledgeable and professional - that was Justin. He clearly used his own skills and asked me very specific questions until he narrowed my choices down to a couple of great mattresses. I truly believe that Justin helped me choose a mattress that was absolutley the perfect one for me. He never rushed me at all, but spent lots of time with me and really listened to me. I just moved to a new house, so I’ve been browsing around different places for the best deals that fit my design aesthetic. I went into the store only hoping to find a dining room table and thanks to Greg’s patience, friendliness, and knowledge i ended up spending the afternoon outfitting the entire house. This review is in reference to Aron at the Grandville location. My wife and I were looking for a new mattress and sectional couch. We had the pleasure of having Aron assist us with finding us the best mattress to fit our needs. Not only was he very patient with us, he was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.
