Last time I will go to this place. Looking to buy furniture and ask when it will be here (on a Thursday before 2pm) sales manger says Monday or Tuesday but if we order it right now we maybe able to get it Saturday. Go to finalize everything and the lady at the counter says ok transfers happen on Wednesdays and we will call when it comes in. Liars and bullshit artist are the only thing you will find in Ashley's.

Great place to buy furniture at a good price! Camron was fantastic to work with, and listened to what we wanted while giving us several feasible options. He helped us decide on the perfect living room set, and worked with us on price to give us a great deal. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. When I found a loveseat I was interested in buying, Scott made the purchasing process extremely simple and time efficient. Scott also kept us well informed about different options like extended warranties and let us know about all the additional fees that would come up like transfer fees and what the new Total price would be.

My salesman, Ozzie, was helpful and informative. The people at the desk when I checked out also were good. Store layout very nice. Only problem I had was the double recliner would have take 4 to 6 weeks to get. Unfortunately I wasn't able to wait that long

In February of 2024, I purchased a Purple Restore mattress at the Jackson Michigan location. The staff were great and the delivery was on time. The mattress had to be replaced due to defects. This took a couple of weeks, but it went well. The replacement mattress is also defective. Ashley stated that this warranty issue was to be honored by Purple but calls to Purple pointed to Ashley being the responsible party. Additional calls to Ashley have hit a wall. Replacement must be approved by corporate and have been going on for nearly three months. Calls to the warranty dept. go unanswered, so you must contact CS. I know that they didn't make the junk mattresses, but they are the responsible party. No more Ashley and no more Purple Mattress. 8/4/24. Update. After several calls, I finally got an answer on warranty. (DENIED), the reason being that the platform bed purchased for this mattress did not meet qualifications. They refused to give me a copy of the denial statement. I wonder why. Last time I purchase from Ashley.

I love this couch, and the sales associate, Cameron, was very helpful. But, after it was delivered, I noticed a flaw on the backside that is exposed as a room-divider. I called immediately and was told that someone would be out within 72 hours to examine it. That didn’t happen. When I went back to the store to see if I could exchange it for something with a nicer backside, I was told I’d be charged a 25% service fee. This couch cost nearly $3,000. I am very unhappy with both the product and with customer service.

My wife n l were greeted by Saundra at the Ashley's in Jackson MI and she asked "what brought you in to Ashleys?" when we replied we were looking for a dining room table she directed us to the area and left us alone for a minute, then returned and answered a few questions. She knows her stuff and we felt comfortable ordering a new table, chairs n bench from her. Fifty years from now lm sure Saundra and Ashley's will be mentioned as part of the provenance of our dining table. 🙂

I went into the store with very specific requirements and was met by Scott with a “we will find what you need” attitude. He identified some options that were exactly what I was looking for. I needed them to be in stock and able to be delivered within 5 days. He made sure everything was in the warehouse and even went the extra steps to get me the pink pillows I liked!!! We got a late start mattress shopping on Memorial Day and found only a few places still open. We happened to drive by Ashley Furniture Outlet and decided to check it out. We only had an hour before they closed, but Kylee was super awesome, going above and beyond for us! She was very knowledgable and VERY patient, working with us even after the store was closed. We went back the next day with our pillows to try all the mattresses again so could make our final decision and again she was super patient and helpful. She helped us lock in the best price and made very informative suggestions throughout the process. We would highly recommend Kylee to anyone looking for a mattress!

I did find him there & he was very courteous, kind & helpful in making my loveseat & sofa purchase which I had previously spoken to Corey about. All went very smoothly. Now I'm getting ready to paint our living room in preparation for our new furniture arrival.

Not happy being "HARASSED" just moved here & the spouse and I went in. The sales lay was nice as ever, however IF I cannot recieve the furniture in a reasonable time, then they lost me! You are furniture store IF it's not in stock, has to be ordered, etc.. Could not even give us an exact or reasonable estimated arrival date, except for a few weeks later ( MORE than 3) not acceptable. I'm sure that she was in an "uncomfortable" situation. Then the conversation went to why don't you like this or this.. Im buying, I have to look at it each day.. I don't like and she kept on. I understand, that you have a job to do, but please DO NOT harass me. I'm a very nice person, however it irritated the HELL out of me.. Idk if I'll ever be back.. But went locally and had to order it BUT it was only a small fraction of the price at this store and was delivered exactly 10 days.. So good luck, especially if you need your items under 2 weeks!

What a great experience from the second I came in the store, was net within seconds, Sherman was fantastic 👌, He got me everything I wanted, and also got me things for my purchase I didn't know I could get. Also delivery came almost two weeks earlier than they thought! As I said from the second I walked in to when I left 100% best service I've had in a while! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY it's not worth the stress you will endure!!! March 2024- my husband and I went into Ashley looking for a new mattress. Backstory we have been sleeping on an older mattress that's 15 + years and were getting the worst sleep of our lives! We had a wonderful salesman and after trying out countless beds ended up purchasing a $4,000 mattress (yes it was out of our budget but felt we were getting the best investment at the time). When we left the store that day the mattress wasn't going to be delivered until April 1st. I got to call a couple days before April 1st from dispatch saying that our mattress was in and it was ready for delivery... Set up a delivery time for March 30th. I was ecstatic because it was going to be before the date they originally mentioned. Fast forward to Saturday before noon I get a call saying that my mattress is damaged and it is no longer going to be delivered and that a manager will be reaching out to me. A manager never reached out to me I had to reach out to them! I was so irate Im just wanted a refund at this point but the manager I spoke to was like let us do inventory and see if we have the mattress in the warehouse and someone will get back with you. I was supposed to give him until Monday 'because of the holidays'. Well Monday comes...no phone calls and it's going on noon so I call...there's no mattress they're telling me that they're getting a new truck shipment to the warehouse Tuesday and he will have the mattress sent out on a truck to me as soon as it comes in...okay cool, so I clear my schedule for Tuesday. So Tuesday comes and of course I have to call again to figure out what the heck is going on with my mattress... Every time I called they're just like the truck hasn't showed up yet and I'm just getting furious at this point. I was just making phone call after phone call trying to figure out what was going on with my mattress and I felt like I shouldn't have been left in this gray area for so long! So finally I was really ready to just be done with this place and then I talked with Sue (manager from Jackson) and she was the only person that made me feel seen. She took it and her hands to figure out what was going on uneven stated that I have made it more phone calls than I should have. So the shipment truck didn't even end up showing up until Wednesday afternoon and didn't get a call till 1:30ish from dispatch and they were saying that they weren't going to be able to deliver the mattress until Friday and I was like no.. that doesn't sit right with me not when I'm already supposed to have my mattress. She says that Thursday delivery is all booked and that I would have to wait until Friday. So I ended up scheduling it for Friday but that didn't sit right with me so I called Sue back and she called the head of the warehouse. And I got a call back saying that I would be put on a cancellation list that if anybody canceled for Thursday that I could have that spot then after that call I get a call shortly after saying there was a spot for Thursday... so I don't know what happened in between those two calls but apparently they got it figured out and thank goodness they did because I really wasn't wanting to wait until Friday! Here we are Thursday, April 4th and my mattress is SUPPOSED to be delivered between 2:30 and 5:30 so pray for me that it shows up (unharmed)! 🙌 I got compensated a pair of sheets ($229 value) but I don't feel like it was worth all the stress and haggle that I went through.

Great Selection & Helpful Staff at Ashley's Outlet Furniture My family recently visited Ashley's Outlet Furniture to help find a living room set for my mother's place. We were impressed by the vast selection of furniture available, offering a variety of styles to suit different tastes. While some pieces had higher price points, we also found many affordable options that fit within our budget. The showroom itself was very clean and well-organized, making it easy to browse the different furniture collections. The staff member who assisted us during our visit was incredibly kind and helpful, patiently answering our questions and offering suggestions based on our needs. Overall, our experience at Ashley's Outlet Furniture was positive. The wide selection, affordability, and friendly service make it a great option for anyone looking for furniture for their home. After some looking later at home we did run Into the product listed cheaper on other sites. Unclear of our choice from here though.

Was told by one of the sellers that pretty much no matter what happens to the couch and chair we could return it for new ones if we added the warranty well house recently caught un fire and we tried getting news one well they won’t let us bc it’s an act of god even tho they give you an option to pick if it was destroyed by fire etc

The original purchase was great. The sales person was very very helpful a wonderful experience. But then the delivery was absolutely terrible. Our sectional got ripped multiple times as they were bringing through the door, and they also brung us a used broken ottoman. We tried to refuse it and the drivers just told us they don’t work for Ashley’s so it wasn’t there problem. This was a week ago and we’ve called 3 times to get a new ottoman and the couch fixed and every time they say they will look in to and call back and have yet to get a call back. So my suggestion if you buy from here is pick it up your self

Angela was great!! Purchasing went smoothly! Can’t wait to get out living room set! That was the purchasing process…. This is after….. Ordered a couch with chaise, ottoman, and chair. Couch gets delivered with the wrong color chaise. Sounds like the chair was lost somewhere and I was told that I need to call the store and have them reorder it, and it’s already been 4 weeks. Another 3 weeks later, I call the store and they have the chair ready for pick up. But delivery isn’t included because they only deliver one time! The day the couch was delivered it was an all day affair!! Now dealing with this!! The manager said he’d make it right and we could stop into the store. Went in and he gave us a $200 credit. Well, ok, we spent $2,200, only got $225 in discounts to begin with, plus paid for delivery. But I’m trying to be nice! Pick out an accent table for $249 and rug $239. Purchased both off the floor. Get home and look online, the rug is on sale for $180 and the table for $110 not assembled. But we bought it off the floor, so the price should be the same as online!!!! So really, no, we did not get a $200 credit. I just called to find out when our chair is getting delivered and the person tells me they are waiting for the ottoman and table and rug!! What the heck!? We have those!!! That’s when she told he that delivery is only one time! Are you kidding me!! No manager is working right now because it’s 6:15pm! Again, it’s retail, are you kidding me!!! And now here I am, BBB reviews, Google reviews, Bing Reviews. Wish I would have read these reviews before shopping there. I will make sure others do!!! No way someone spending over $2200 should get this kind of run around for 7 weeks!!! Or spend any money!!! We didn’t ask for any discounts, didn’t haggle, didn’t even complain much.

Friendly service with the efficient options for purchasing products in

Jackson, MI store. Ordered a couch on 2/19/24 expecting to be able to take it ASAP. After paying, I was informed it would be a two week wait, but wasn’t informed until afterward. After two weeks I called and they stated it wouldn’t be in until 3/8. The manager Ozzy contacted me and stated he was sorry, offered $50 off. I called today 3/8, they aren’t getting a shipment in from the truck. Explained that we have to coordinate getting a truck since we only have a car and SUV - Asked for free delivery since they keep pushing it out and aren’t able to tell me when it’ll be in. You can hear them in the background during the call stating they are unable to do that, nobody knows when it’s going to be delivered. Ozzy states it is above his head and out of his hands, he cannot offer delivery. Does anyone know what’s going on?! I know it’s not the employees (except for not relaying it would be a wait), but as a consumer/customer I am frustrated and it seems like Ashley Furniture needs to get a better system in place. Do not recommend. I should’ve listened to my sister who had a terrible experience.

I am very disappointed in the level of service and the run around that I was given. It has been over 30 days we have been waiting to have a bed frame set up. This is after calling 7 to 8 times to talk to a manager to get this situation addressed. With that said, when I said I wanted to return the frame bc it we have been waiting for over 30 days we were told that they are still going to charge us the restock fee. Restock fee for something that is still in boxes and NOT set up due to us waiting for a part to be delivered. Over priced and I would never order something from them again. Awful service from hounding store sales rep to delivery department "customer" service in Lansing and Jackson.

Rude, worthless people. Not everyone but the old woman is a rude Karen and I had to walk out from buying a couch on a good deal. Every people had different answer about financing so they we not on the same page. Rude lady even said “what are you doing on your phone”, when I was using it. All I can say is April is amazing she took her time and came in on her day off to make sure I was treated very well and got exactly what I wanted she even dealt with me coming back and forth for almost a month because I was so indecisive she also got me the best deal she possibly could and made it feel more like a hang out session then a purchase all and all I could not have been more satisfied

Updated March 2024 - well, the good service experience on our purchase date was the end of the road... we still haven't had our entire order delivered and have had to make repeated (often un-returned) calls to the store and delivery warehouse to try and figure out where the furniture we've already paid for actually is. I'm incredibly disappointed after spending three weeks trying to get answers... Updated April 2024 - still waiting for our couch... Please, folks, avoid this place at all costs.

Well bought a bed, and frame from them, the salesmen show us a great warranty for our things, we had a claim on the warranty, which when going over it, was pointed out would be covered, but when we made our claim, we where denied, they advised us that it was not covered under the warranty, now we have a 1500 dollar bed frame that they will not repair, we only bought the bed frame, cause our salesmen Jordan guaranteed use that the warranty would cover pet damage, we just got a new puppy. So if you buy a warranty through then beware my get dooped too.

Great service when purchasing. That was almost two MONTHS ago and I still do not have all of my furniture delivered. I had to call them multiple times to get the first delivery set up and have not heard back regarding the rest. I will not buy or recommend this store again unless this improves. Give me what I paid for.

This is the second time I have bought from Ashley and won’t do it again. My husband and I bought a couch and chair and we personal set up with dispatch to deliver it earlier then what we had originally set up. Well they called the store and they said oh no they don’t want it till this date. Now wouldn’t think to call the customer before you made that final decision for them and see if they had changed the date. I was furious. Now here we are today went in and bought another couch and chair for my mom and told the her number multiple times and they still got it wrong. She talked to them yesterday and made sure they have the right number and they did not. They call me for delivery time. After they told her they would call dispatch and make sure they had the right number for her. Come on people pay attention and do what you say your gonna do

Our sales rep Corey was professional, friendly, honest and patient as we decided which dining set we wanted to purchase. This location has a lot of high quality items at a fair price. The only downfall for me is the 3-4 week wait we will have waiting on our new dining set.

Perfect for my mom after open heart surgery because it allows her to elevate her feet higher than any reclining chair I could find in town. It is a sleek chair and I love the dove gray color. It seems as though it will last a very long time. Having the power controls right on the chair with the phone charging port is wonderful; NO searching for a remote!

Flint gave me a deal and as a customer you want the best deal. Kendall the district Manger of Jackson told me that he would gareetee me the best deal. Drove an hour out of my way and waited on him and never heard back from him. Oh top of things a lady that works there was suppose to get back to me with a number to talk to someone else and never heard back from her. Do not advise buying from Jackson or flint due to their district Manger and lies they tell. Also if you look at reviews they only reply to good reviews not the bad ones.

Review history Submitted 8/21/2023 Published waiting Public published review 8/21/23 My Uncle is paraplegic. He’s been in a wheelchair for 35yrs. He needed a New mattress, but is on a very low disability, fixed income. My Uncle’s brother and sisters contributed $1,200 together to buy him a new mattress including the protection pad. Mind you their money resources are limited also. It was delivered to his apartment. He could not transfer from his wheelchair to the bed due to mattress was too soft. Mind you they were aware of his weight. They did purchase in-store. The store was in Jackson, Michigan and Manager’s name is Kristen. They will not return mattress. They can’t do that they said, but if they agreed to buy a $2,400 one they would. They don’t have that kind of money. This Country has become terrible and so are business’s. Now he has a mattress he can’t use literally because he lives alone and can’t transfer. Mind you his old mattress was fine until it broke down. Never again will anyone in my family but Ashley again

The store has a great selection no matter what furniture you are shopping for. But the one thing that made us choose Ashley Furniture Outlet wasn't their choices, but Fran! She was informative but willing to let us look around. When we had questions, she moved around the store looking up prices and suggesting similar furniture. We were only planning on purchasing a kitchen table set and then later to find furniture for our living room and family room. However, Fran was so good that we decided to get it all with her. When it was time to finalize the deal, Michelle helped. She was very pleasant and we all had a good conversation while the paperwork was finalized. Thank you Fran and Michelle!

Like that it wasn't like walking into gardener white where they swarm you. I want to look with a stranger with me being pushy. I was disappointed that the prices weren't better, still pricey for your average person, more so with the Economy. I did purchase what I went in for, paid more than I planned on, hard being retired!

We were looking for a kitchen table and found one at a super good price. I can tell you that what "appeared" to be the same table elsewhere, was priced higher at the other store.. Bare in mind, it was the grand opening sale. Going to need more furniture in the near future-bedroom suite. Hoping the good deals are an all the time thing. Definitely worth a look if your shopping for furniture!

PATHETIC! PATHETIC COMPANY! They NEED to take responsibility for their employees that think it's okay to hit a parked vehicle and then drive away.

friends of ours ordered from the Jackson location and had extensive damage to their vehicle in the delivery process. the store couldn’t do the decent thing of taking responsibility & fixing what their delivery drivers damaged, instead they have ignored and denied everything. Would not recommend purchasing from this place as these were good people this happened to and the store obviously cares more about protecting their funds instead of doing what’s right. Very disappointing, would give a 0 star review if possible.

So ya'll deliver and then hit peoples cars? Have them jump through hoops to get estimates for the repairs after first deniying it happened in the first place and then ghost people. Shame on you. Take some responsibility and take care of the problem that your delivery drivers created.

I am changing my review after my experience. My in-store experience was good, but that's where it ended. I have a bedroom set that was delivered over a week ago that is still in pieces on the bedroom floor, 2 of the screws were missing. I was the one who reached out to Ashley furniture twice and asked when it was going to be taken care of. I never received a call keeping me informed about what was going on or when the bed would be finally set up. I have a drawer inside the dresser where the bottom of the drawer was built upside down. Make sure you check every square inch of everything you buy when it's delivered.

Noah was excellent. He guided me through the whole process and took his time with me. He was not pushy but very caring and listened to me in what I wanted. I would definitely recommend him. He’s awesome.

Yoandy is really kind, my kids came with us when we purchased our couch and usually they are not very open to new people but they both seemed to warm up really quickly, he was quick, efficient and great at his job and the fact he could get a smile out of my 2 year old while I was signing papers is a bonus, he is definitely very people friendly and we appreciate everything he did for us. I do want to say for those who think they are pricy, to be honest I paid for a sectional about 6 years ago at another store and the price was pretty comparable, you pay for the quality you want and for about a thousand dollars you can get a pretty substantial size sectional here. Their prices to me are pretty reasonable in comparison to other places in the area and I have currently an Ashley sectional we purchased at big lots and it's sustained it's structure through kids, a dog and a cat, we love the quality and the fact that we now have an actual Ashley store makes purchasing and trying the sofa first a lot less hassle

Was looking for a lift chair for my husband, Noah, told us all about the lift chairs, helped me pick out the best one for my husband’s situation, and got me a new pillow as well. He did a great job. Didn’t pressure me in any way. Wanted to make sure our chair was on the next day delivering schedule. Noah, also got me the number of a man that would come and pick up my old chair.

Was very underwhelmed by my experience at this location. They are newly opened in our market and it seems they would bend over backwards to get good reviews but that is not the case. I felt like our sales person was not trained in customer service. He made a promise which the manager walked back on and the manager did not have the courtesy to come out and speak to us himself/herself. We wanted to purchase a bar stool off the floor (there was more than one available) and while we wait for what seemed to be a long time for the manager to check stock, the manager decided that he would not sell us one of the floor pieces. My thought was to try one from the floor to be sure it was a good fit, and then order the 3 more that we needed. However, they would not let us do that. We walked without purchasing. So in essence they let $1000 walk out the door to keep a $250 barstool on the floor. I might have understood this thinking if it was the only bar still there but that was not the case. Interesting decision on the manager's part.
