After some modifications we were able to order the right sizes because Dan did all the leg work ahead of time. Ordered something online Monday contacted customer services right away knowing I no longer needed it. And told me that I would have to wait for the confirmation email. So I did that, then contacted them back and then tells me that they can’t cancel the order. Also the store tells me they can’t cancel the order. Makes no sense how we use so much technology and they can’t cancel a simple order.

I explained to Andrea what I was interested in. She went out of her way to show me many items. I appreciated her assistance and told her I would think everything and return. She continued to send me text photos of different items. I returned the next day and purchased a dinning room table and chairs and bedroom set. She explained the cost and the discount I would receive. Andrea took me to the customer service desk to purchase the items. Unfortunately I did not know the name of the lady where I made my purchases. She needs to be acknowledged for her kindness and helpful. Andrea is still in contact with me as I'm still in need of two barstool. Andrea is a treasure and should give lessons to other sales people. Andrea is an asset to Ashley Home Store. Noah took a lot of time with me, discussed options, lugged furniture around the store to help me visualize, and was a great communicator. No pressure sales as well, which is a huge plus for me. Walked into Ashley furniture 1 hour before closing this evening , was greeted by a man sitting down . Told him what I was looking for and he just pointed behind him and said “they're back there “. He was clearly not interested in helping me make a purchase , walked by a number of other employees sitting around & not one of them offered any assistance . So we left ! & won’t be returning. By the way we have spent thousands in this store in the past!

Noah was very friendly and helpful without shagging me. I like time to browse. When he saw me looking at an item that might fit the description of what I was looking for, he came over and took it down for me. It was what I wanted. He immediately checked with the manager to see if I could take it with me. After purchase he loaded it in my car. This was a small purchase, and yet he gave me the attention of a person making an expensive one. His service is the kind that would bring me back.

I always seem to find what I’m looking for at Ashley’s Furniture. This time it’s a couch and end table. My first piece was a dining table and a matching hutch, 20 years ago. Hutch sold 10 years ago but the table! It has held up through kids doing homework (now grown adults), dinners, family games and craft projects. I guess it’s why I keep coming back.

My husband & I purchased a dining table on memorial day. The customer service reps were all so nice to us, & treated my husband special since he’s a veteran. BUT we still haven’t received our dining table or any updates. No delivery tracking email. Haven’t been able to get someone to call us back. We thought we would have this table for my husbands bday, now we need it for father’s day as we are hosting. I ordered dining table chairs online from another company just a few days ago and they’re out for delivery today. I don’t understand what’s taking so long. If i would’ve ordered online like i was going to, i would have received it a long time ago.

In the store shopping was great. Ordered sofa sleeper, couldn’t get it delivered for 3 weeks. When it came time to deliver, truck broke down. Now not getting for another week. I need the couch for the weekend. They should get a different truck, load it and make the deliveries that were due today and push the others out a day. Why do I/we need to wait another week????

I was lucky to meet David first when I came in to look for a new LR set. He knew his furniture, their dimensions, etc. which was helpful. Not a pressure salesman, let me know sales might be going away soon, etc. Very personable, was not a bullshitter.We picked out a few sets and I said I’d be back w my wife; don’t let on I was in. We came back 4 hrs later. I caved and told her I was in earlier, David still tried to play it off, my bad David. Long story short, after 2 beers/ glasses of wine on them, we bought our first new LR set since marriage last June. It’s already in and waiting for the call for delivery. Go see David. Beers cold.

Bought a couch and chair from Ashley. Picked it up myself, signed a paper that I was picking it up. Once they brought the furniture to my trailer, they dropped the couch and went back inside, telling me other customers were waiting. I was rushed out, not given time to inspect anything. Got home and found that a board on the couch was broken. Ashley's customer care said that since I didn't inspect it when I received it that I would have to bring an hour back to where I picked it up (renting a truck and trailer again) or pay a tech to come to my house and fix it. How about giving people time to look things over before pushing them out the door. This was my second purchase from Ashley and it will be my last.

I’ve had my eye on this bar cabinet for some time now and when I noticed another Ashley store had it for $200+ less I went to my local store and they were able to price match and give me free shipping as a healthcare worker! Double bonus now I can have the piece I wanted at a great deal! Salesman was great, no upselling and not pushy. Just secured the piece quickly and painlessly.

They said they re-ordered my chair a month ago and have not called to update, deliver or pick up the wrong chair that was delivered, and yet I am supposed to make a payment next week. They don't ever return my calls or emails and I even had to pay for "red carpet delivery"

We came to Ashley HomeStore in dire need of a new bed. We didn’t know what we wanted but luckily we had the BEST customer service from Cecilia. She was very professional and knowledgeable! She walked us through the entire selection giving us advice and asking questions about our sleep habits to make sure we found the perfect mattress. Cecilia was so wonderful that she even entertained our 4 month old daughter while we both tried out mattresses! I have had extremely pleasant staff help me with my purchase at this store. I never felt pressured to buy and I felt like the sales people answered all my questions. Recently, the furniture I bought went on sale and was an additional $500 lower than what I paid for it. I went into Ashley thinking they might not honor their policy of money back for items that go on sale within 30 days of purchasing. I was pleasantly surprised that they DO honor their policy and the process was super quick and easy- no hassels whatsoever! I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes with $500 on its way back into my bank account. I will absolutely do business with Ashley and this store in the future!

Our experience was simply amazing. On 03/01/25, we stopped in to purchase a dresser and we were greeted immediately! Our host paired us with a sales agent (Mark) and we made our purchase.. all within about 10 min (we came prepared). However... These folks go above and beyond with pride ... And if you are a Service member, past or present, the experience is even more amazing. It was such a pleasure to talk, and work, with our host and sales agent. Also, Did you know that Ashley's has a program that donates beds to those in need?? Every mattress that is purchased goes toward that program! It's a beautiful thing! He pointed out how I could tell if a certain set came in multiple finishes and if there was an option for added storage. He asked if I or my husband happen to be a Veteran(my husband is) because if so, we would get free delivery and set up. Then said he would give me space so I could browse in peace. I don’t like sales people hanging over my shoulder trying to push a sale, so his approach was very much appreciated. He let me know where he would be if I had any questions and I was able to shop in peace. I purchased my mattress on 7/20 I was told in the store that I would receive my mattress in 10-15 days. Here it is over 3 weeks and I haven’t even received a phone call to schedule. I’ve called the scheduling department twice, first time I was told I would receive a text or email but end of week and got nothing. So I called today and the lady I spoke to was rude and informed me they don’t usually deliver to my town unless there’s a truck delivering to my town. I told her I was not informed with all this information while making my purchases. She then told me I could be transferred to speak with the salesperson bc that is something he should be told. I told her it’s not my job to inform their sales people this information. She again said k well I can have someone reach out to you. I will not purchase from Ashley furniture store again. She told me ok thats fine. 10/22 I’m adding more to my review. I just don’t believe all these great reviews from people unless they are rating them before they received their furniture. I also purchased a bedroom set from them same day as my mattress. It’s been 3 months and I have not received my furniture. I’ve called each month and each month they tell me next month you should receive a phone call to set up delivery. They also have offered a “100$” credit for my troubles. I can’t believe this it’s just been a horrible experience it was my first time purchasing from them and it’ll be my last.

The Jackson store w Fran and company were so bad - horrible customer service- I had decided to not ever shop at Ashley. Then, I found Alex at the Kalamazoo store who was professional , caring and very knowledgeable. Alex helped me order the recliner sofa I wanted and was very accommodating with delivery. If you need a great sales associate and no hassle when purchasing w delivery - call Alex he will have you admiring your new furniture in your home in record time!!! ☝️

Yesterday I walked into the store. There were maybe 6 employees working. One gentleman working with a couple. I walked all the way through the store, sat in a few chairs for comfort. Not ONE employee approached me to see if I needed help. I walked to the front entrance, looked around and left. I guess nobody was interested in a sale?? Poor customer service in my opinion.

First time purchasing at this store. I had good service and was feeling very good until I came to the back of the store and saw 2 accent slipcover glider chairs that were definitely poor fitting to the chair. It made me wonder if the quality of the furniture was junky. All but those chairs looked good.

Bird took the time to show different options of the item we needed to purchase. Was very thorough and professional.

I ordered a white sofa set from here, and unfortunately couldn’t be more disappointed. My ottoman came with a giant brown stain and when I contacted customer service they advised i would have to wait weeks to get it fixed even though it was their fault. (It’s still not fixed 2 weeks later). I paid a lot for this set and expected it to be inspected prior to delivery. Now it’s an inconvenience and looks hideous in my living room.

From the time we walked in it was a great experience. Helpful and friendly staff.

I just moved to Kalamazoo from Los Angeles. I had to furnish a brand new home. I am so glad I stumbled on Ashley's in Kalamazoo. There are two salespersons I'd like to especially note for their friendly and knowledgeable service (and great sense of humor - always a good thing!). Alex and Frank are amazing and so is the admin crew behind the scenes that helped me finance a boatload of great furniture at zero interest for a year! What a great experience. It made the relocation much less difficult for me. I'm grateful.

The salesman, Frank, submitted 3 separate hard credit inquiries without my knowledge. There was a promotion for if you put 'x' amount down you get zero interest for 'x' amount of time. It was a lie, upon leaving the store and finishing the sale Frank told me I had only 90 days with zero interest. Also he put the wrong address on the application for the line of credit so I received the first bill very late subsequently being charged a late fee.

Great experience shopping at Ashley, they let me browse peacefully until I was ready to buy. Frank was professional and personable, he really made it easy to purchase a new bed and mattress. I will be back to shop again soon!

Shopping for furniture was easy.

We paid for a mattress and cover and asked for it to be shipped to a warehouse. We did not get a notification that it was delivered, so i called and found out that the salesman lied to us about where it would be delivered. Shipped the mattress and cover to 2 separate locations and refused to give us the cover we purchased, saying they will give us a different brand even though we ordered this a week and a half prior. Will not be shopping here again

Our experience at Ashley in Kalamazoo was excellent. I had found the sectional we liked on the website, but wanted to see if they had it in store. They didn't have that exact one, but we met Bird who was more than happy to show us items from the same line, so we were able to see the build type as well as comfort and color. She made us aware of all the important things, such as strength in material, warranty, even gave us the out the door price. She was not the pushy salesperson type. We left and came back the next day. Bird was with other customers, so a staff member offered us a seat and refreshment. It was by far the best shopping experience we've ever had. Thanks Bird! You Rock. Can't wait to get our sectional in a couple weeks!!!

I was in the process of moving on Labor Day weekend and decided I deserved some new furniture. My friend and I decided to go in and see what they had. We were dressed for moving, basically a hot mess. I found several pieces I was interested in and couldn't get anyone to help. It wasn't that busy. There were workers just standing around.

He was kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable of what I was looking for as the recliner I wanted was not on the showroom floor. He pulled up the on line screen and I was able to show him the recliner I preferred. The paperwork went quickly. I appreciate a sales person like David. If I need any other peices of furniture, I will ask for him. I am disappointed that it will take 2-3 weeks for delivery of the recliner though, but that is not on David!

To be clear ashley online is different than ashley in store. But i ordered a dresser online. I had to do two rounds of replacement parts with 2 weeks of waiting between each round. Customer service was a bear and they didnt keep record of what they said theyd send me. Ill order instore only if i ever go back.

We love Ashley's and this store is very nice. We've been looking for some new furniture pieces for many months now and since we weren't in a hurry we've checked out numerous stores as we'd rather look, feel and sit on furniture in person although we've also checked online as well. We have already seen many pieces at Ashley's both online and in person. We walked in today and just looked around and the staff left us alone to browse on our own and checked on us later. They actually have some very nice solid wood furniture as well as more affordable pieces and comfortable chairs as well. We purchased some pieces from them today and will be excited to see them in our home.

Edit: Wanted to see if I could exchange a mattress for a firmer one. Temperpedic had a 90 day test out period. Since I bought it from Ashley and not directly from Temperpedic, Ashley Furniture said they wouldn’t honor that deal. So basically I should have just bought one through Temperpedic. When I tried to talk to the manager, he was super rude and basically said he didn’t need my business. So I will never ever buy anything from them again. Don’t buy from Ashly Furniture Store.

I had a stress free and extremely seamless furniture ordering experience from Ashley. Bird at the Kalamazoo MI location helped me pick the most beautiful pieces of furniture and made the process fast. The furniture hasn’t arrived yet so efficiency and user friendliness is yet to be determined, however Bird worked with me at each step to make sure I get the best price, even though she was on the road. This is my first time buying furniture for my first apt right out of college and I was super nervous. Bird’s professionalism and enthusiasm definitely helped calm nerves. I would say go to her as she cares about your personal needs and goes above and beyond. She’s knowledgeable, upbeat, supportive, kind, committed, and overall phenomenal!
