Visited the store this week, and overall, the furniture selection was lacking, and when we purchased an art piece from the clearance center, it took us 20 minutes to check out. They should have a “cash customer” option for sub $100 purchases or something. Very likely will not return.

Greeted at door by Ray, described what wife & I were looking for,took us to area of love seats/recliners, listened and interacted with our questions very professionally with no pressure to buy, liked several items on salsfloor,started paperwork process for sale, overall an excellent customer experience 👍

I loved my entire experience - from walking in the door to paying. I never felt pressure.

Went in looking for a new pillow and was helped by salesperson Dameyon who was incredible to work with! He was so nice and friendly, suggesting a great option (which I did end up purchasing) but he made what could have been a stressful experience (I anticipate salespeople will be somewhat pushy and so I try to avoid them) into a positive and fun experience! So much so, that my guy and I ended up going back the next day to purchase a new bed! Once again, Dameyon was knowledgeable and SO patient while we debated on the best choice for us. He is someone I’d refer anyone to work with and in a world where people are quick to be unkind, Ashley Home Store is lucky to have him on their team. Thanks again!

I went in the store to buy end tables and a bookcase. The Caucasian gentleman at the front desk seemed surprised that I walked in. I was wearing a hoodie and sweat pants. This isn’t my normal courtroom attire, but one shouldn’t have to dress a certain way to receive good customer service. I showed the gentle a picture of a piece of furniture and he selected the wrong piece of furniture that I showed in the picture. Then I asked him about end tables. He told me that I could look around and seemed like he did not want to assist me. Salesman are supposed to assist customers find the items they are looking for or even try to sell them other items not just let them find things on their own. What is the point of having sales staff? Then I saw a Black gentleman and asked him for assistance. He asked the Caucasian gentleman if I had been helped. If I received assistance, then why would I ask the Black gentleman for help? Then the Black gentleman proceeded to walk away towards an older Caucasian lady and asked her if she needed assistance. I looked and laughed in disbelief and I walked out of the store after receiving no assistance. I will never go back based on this experience. I can find what I need online anyway!

I purchased a midnight-madness oversized chaise with help from Alex over these last couple days. He helped with all of the questions my partner and I had and provided us with fantastic customer service. If we have any further furniture needs we know we can count on him and Ashley's of Saginaw hwy! I got delivery from M&V fast and they were able to place my furniture from the balcony due to my apartments small door frames. They went above and beyond to help in such a tight pinch!

Had a wonderful sales experience however service / warranty dept is horrible. Purchased a purple mattress many months ago and it has a very large indentation in the mattress. Purple mattress indicates you must Start the with the location where you bought the mattress and file a claim. Service department has a voicemail that’s full, Therefore, you can’t leave a message and no one answers the phone. Called customer service and the girl on the other end argued with us that purple mattresses don’t have a warranty. After five minutes of discussing that with her, we asked to speak to a manager. During the transfer process, the call was dropped x2. Call back a third time and she indicated that she would have someone call us. That was five days ago and we still have not heard anyone despite leaving yet another message for someone to call back. It’s unfortunate for the sales people that they don’t have a warranty / service department that holds up their end of the bargain. That will be the last thing we buy from Ashley furniture in Lansing and will be sure to tell purple mattress when we finally get a claim going through them about the experience that we’ve had. Buyer beware !!

I visited the store a few months ago to look at mattresses and living room furniture. I worked with Scott. He was helpful and very knowledgeable about the inventory. I can back today, Scott remembers me, I reviewed my options, bought a mattress and reconsidered the living room furniture. I will be in to purchase the desired pieces from Scott.

When I came into the store it was nice to be greeted and ask what I was there for. I've never seen this before and I really loved that. I had called earlier in the morning and spoke with Ray and told him what I was looking for. When I arrived and spoke with Ray. Ray was very helpful in showing me the lift chairs and letting me try them out. It was a hard decision to make which one I wanted. We went to several furniture stores looking for a new sofa after moving into our new house. After 2 visits to Ashley, we had narrowed it down to 1 choice. With the help of our wonderful salesman, Ray, we were sure we had made the right decision. He also helped us find the perfect storage table that we will use as an ottoman as well. The CSR, Arikkah, was super friendly and quick to get our purchase completed. We will definitely be coming back to Ashley for any future furniture needs.

We purchased a six person dining room table and we’ve owned it for a year. It turns out the table isn’t wood as advertised but instead is only a veneer. Having that said you cannot get any moisture on the table as it swells and warps. Very disappointed because of the amount of money spent and feel that we were misinformed. I won’t buy from them again.

I would give the store associates a 4.5 but the service warranty portion of the company gets a -3 from me for sure. Went and bought a $3k sectional less than 4 months ago had service here twice now as the console no longer works. Called service 5 times left messages never got a call back, finally went into a store and got them to start the service request. Finally got someone here 3 weeks later just for them to say yes it’s broken I’ll forward it to the higher ups to get parts ordered. So here I am still unable to use the reclining portion of my couch for god know how much longer. This places service is a joke

Very pleased, that's why I returned and most likely will again. My sales rep both visits was Dameyon and while there is a lot there that is really not my personal preference, I have been able to tell him what I am looking for, what I want and he worked to get it for me.

Ray was fabulous in helping me find what I was interested in - sofa, recliner and mattress. Very informative but not pushy - exactly what you would want in a representative for your company. The value was there in our purchase as well - well within our price limit. Haven’t had delivery yet so cannot comment on that.

Huge store with tons of bed frames, bedroom sets, dining tables, and mattresses. Lots of workers around if you have any questions or concerns. They do push taking a loan or credit card out for furniture, which I cannot recommend

Had to change my view. Made purchase with Kendall 2 weeks ago, told we'd have our bed a week later coming from Jackson, still no bed. End week told it's on back order, week later, no bed, still today 6/10/24, and told another 3 weeks. WOW! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and RELIABILITY! And again people Kendall (store mgr) dropped the ball again. Still today, say he says it'll be delivered, not there, no call to customer, no text, no email, no update to customer. His service and word is NO GOOD

Ashley sells the Montage warranty knowing they won’t cover any repairs. We bought a sectional two years ago and the frame broke and they are claiming it’s normal wear and tear. The warranty is a scam. I’ve been fighting with them for 3-4 months and they are still denying even after I’ve sent them multiple pictures and paper work as a stalling point. They even denied it before a tech even came out. I fought for a tech to come and he said yeah it needs to be repaired and would order the parts. Come to find out they denied the tech too without even contacting me. I had to call for a status update and was notified oh sorry our techs can’t authorize anything. Really then why have them at all. Stop selling the scam warranty that doesn’t do anything. You are stealing people money period.

I just bought my first sectional from Ashley furniture. I’d just like to say I went to furniture row in lansing and I was basically laughed at for going in and looking at “one of the most expensive couches”. (Let me kindly state that the couch I got at Ashley furniture was way better quality!) At furniture row I Was asked if I ever bought anything expensive like that. When I went into Ashley furniture in Lansing I was kindly met by a woman named Lara! Lara is lovely. She welcomed me like any other customer and didn’t treat me differently for my age or the way I dressed. She most definitely didn’t ask me if I could afford anything specific instead She walked me around the entire store showing me every couch from expensive to not expensive. I ended up falling in love with a sectional that was actually the same price and the one at furniture row but Wayyyyy more quality! I couldn’t thank Lara enough for helping me find the perfect sectional for such a picky girl. I highly recommend if you go to Ashley furniture you check out with Lara! She is so kind welcoming and will make you smile and not want to leave till you find the perfect one! Her patience went above and beyond when we walked through the entire store and back around again just to find the perfect sectional for me.

My daughter bought a $3400.00 couch they replace the cushions the new cushions are all on even what a joke.... Worst purchase ever!!!

I ordered a dining table and 4 chairs with an arrival date. I called for over two months to check on arrival status. I was told each time it would be in the store in a couple of days, but never received a phone call. Finally, after being hung up on by in store customer service and then by my sales person, yes, my sales person, I contacted my credit card company. Poor customer service and no communication.

This review is not a reflection of this store specifically but of the company as a whole. I’ve tried leaving a review on a product and apparently the reviews are screened or something because all you see are the good reviews on there and the honest one I tried to leave is not there. As a company they have no follow through or follow up. I ordered a swivel rocking chair that also reclines online. When I received it and put it together, the chair leans forward making it hard to rock in it and impossible to recline because the footrest gets stuck from the chair leaning so much. I tried reaching out to the company to see if there’s a simple fix to this, no response. I opted to return it. I called customer service and the person said I will not be responsible for shipping since the chair is not working as intended. Someone else emails me the instructions for the return but says I am responsible for the shipping. I email back telling them that the customer service rep on the phone said we didn’t have to pay for shipping. They emailed back and said they will pull the audio recording of the phone conversation to confirm and get back to me. No response again. I’ve called again and asked if I can take the item to a store to return it and skip the shipping altogether, they said it has to be shipped back if it’s bought online and they would review the phone conversation and get back to me. And again no response.

Orlando and Eddy delivered our furniture. These guys came with a can do attitude and no door was going to defeat them. Ray made sure we got the best deal for what we wanted and the experience as a whole was great.

Purchased a couch from here and it has honestly been the biggest pain since we purchased it back in 2023. We were told it would be about 6 weeks to come in. It kept getting pushed out and pushed out for months. We finally received it, albeit after many run around phone calls, and were happy. After a short time of having the couch, one piece completely had the inner support snap out of nowhere. We were able to get a tech out, but again it took some rescheduling. They came out with a replacement cushion because they didn’t listen to what we stated was wrong. Once they determined it was more than a cushion, they had to schedule yet another day to come pick up the piece of the couch and repair it in shop. In addition, we paid extra money for the warranty that covers stains as life happens and we usually have company quite often. We had quite a large stain on the couch and called to get it taken care of. We have now been rescheduled FOUR times and are now pushed out through Mid April for the cleaning service with no real guarantee it’ll happen that day. If you enjoy getting the run around and having things pushed off because they don’t want to send a tech to your area for just one person, this place is for you. Otherwise, stay away!

Had to come back in and do a protection plan and pick out some more furniture.At first I was getting the run around.Make me upset.Then I got a hold of Kendall, then, when I went in on Saturday, Hogan took care of me she can tell. I was a little hostile. She calmed me down and took care of me very well. Made my experience better. Thank you, Hogan and Kendall.

I ordered a Futon Sofa in Navy with velvet material. I received a ugly dry green in linen material sofa, that looked like it itched when you sit on it. The customer service was horrible. All that they would tell me was I would hear in 3 to 5 days about the return. They couldn't tell me when I would receive the sofa I ordered. I finally spoke with a supervisor and quess what. The sofa I ordered was now out of stock, so they just sent me whatever. This is beyond ridiculous.

I am very disappointed in the level of service and the run around that I was given. It has been over 30 days we have been waiting to have a bed frame set up. This is after calling 7 to 8 times to talk to a manager to get this situation addressed. With that said, when I said I wanted to return the frame bc it we have been waiting for over 30 days we were told that they are still going to charge us the restock fee. Restock fee for something that is still in boxes and NOT set up due to us waiting for a part to be delivered. Over priced and I would never order something from them again. Awful service from hounding store sales rep to delivery department "customer" service in Lansing and Jackson.

It was really nice shopping here. There is a lot to choose from, and even though what we saw online wasn't in the store, they were still able to get for us and got us discount on top of that. The salesperson we dealt with was nice and quick. I don't even think we were there an hour and we love our new bedroom set!!

UPDATE: They scheduled delivery for yesterday between 6pm-10pm and we spent the whole night waiting for them and they just never came! They couldn’t even be bothered to call and tell us they weren’t coming? UNREAL! Seems like they are purposely giving us a hard time at this point. BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSINESSES WITH THIS COMPANY. We are still out $950+ and have no bed. They clearly do not want to make this right! We purchased a bed set from Dameyon on 11/11/23 and unfortunately what began as a great experience initially has turned into a nightmare for us. Upon purchasing the bed set for our new home we were told it was “in-stock” which was important to us. Once delivery was scheduled it turned out that the headboard was “damaged” or no longer in stock. In retrospect I wish we had just cancelled the order at this time but we decided to wait patiently. And wait patiently we did, as it took 2 months of us sleeping on the floor before the headboard was delivered so we could assemble the bed. Once we finally had all the pieces for assembly we quickly realized the footboard was defective and missing the metal latching pieces internally. Now almost 3 months later we continue to sleep on the floor and the only resolution offered was to continue to wait several more weeks for them to ship a new footboard. Very disappointed and wish we had spent the $2,000+ elsewhere.

Angela was so very helpful! We found a living room set we love and the whole process went smoothly! That was the purchasing process…. This is after….. Ordered a couch with chaise, ottoman, and chair. Couch gets delivered with the wrong color chaise. Sounds like the chair was lost somewhere and I was told that I need to call the store and have them reorder it, and it’s already been 4 weeks. Another 3 weeks later, I call the store and they have the chair ready for pick up. But delivery isn’t included because they only deliver one time! The day the couch was delivered it was an all day affair!! Now dealing with this!! The manager said he’d make it right and we could stop into the store. Went in and he gave us a $200 credit. Well, ok, we spent $2,200, only got $225 in discounts to begin with, plus paid for delivery. But I’m trying to be nice! Pick out an accent table for $249 and rug $239. Purchased both off the floor. Get home and look online, the rug is on sale for $180 and the table for $110 not assembled. But we bought it off the floor, so the price should be the same as online!!!! So really, no, we did not get a $200 credit. I just called to find out when our chair is getting delivered and the person tells me they are waiting for the ottoman and table and rug!! What the heck!? We have those!!! That’s when she told he that delivery is only one time! Are you kidding me!! No manager is working right now because it’s 6:15pm! Again, it’s retail, are you kidding me!!! And now here I am, BBB reviews, Google reviews, Bing Reviews. Wish I would have read these reviews before shopping there. I will make sure others do!!! No way someone spending over $2200 should get this kind of run around for 7 weeks!!! Or spend any money!!! We didn’t ask for any discounts, didn’t haggle, didn’t even complain much.

He made sure that we were taken care of and that I would have my new bed in the time frame I need it, all the other stores seemed to want to sell me alternative beds that were far less quality with less comfort just to make a sale. It was overwhelming, at first, because I was pre-approved online through Synchrony, for $1,000, but denied in the store. Then Corey hooked me up with Snap Finance and got me approved for $3,500 and I ended up getting not only a couch, but the entire living room collection, like I wanted. He was also very friendly and accommodating, giving me water and soda, while I waited.

Ozzie is the man and he knows his stuffs. Great experience with him and will recommend anyone to him anyday

Picked up my furniture, assembled it at home and the configuration was wrong when I specifically told Lara that I wanted the corner chaise on the left. Had to drive the sofa back to warehouse and now have to wait for a new one that is on back order. They reorder the the sofa and it came in damaged. Now have to wait another 4 weeks. This place is a joke. What a hassle. Stay away!!

Store staff: 4/5 Delivery team: 0/5 I was greeted by a salesperson when I entered the store, and she helped me find a mattress and box spring that I loved. I was waiting on my new card to come in the mail, so I didn’t make my purchase right then. I called later and ordered over the phone with the information that the salesperson had written down for me about the products. Unfortunately, I wasn’t told that ordering over the phone would delay delivery. I called on a Wednesday or Thursday, and they said they couldn’t deliver until the following Tuesday because they had to make sure the charge went through. This didn’t work for me because I was sleeping on a cot at the time, and I had expected quicker delivery times, what with the $1,100 price tag. I was also disappointed that I hadn’t been told that I could have paid in person to speed up the process. That would have been no problem for me to do, but they had encouraged me to order over the phone instead of coming in after work right before they closed. It seemed they didn’t want to stay late for me. I really wish they had told me the full story and then given me the choice to come in or order over the phone, instead of pushing for the phone order. My salesperson and the manager tried very hard to get me delivery earlier than the Tuesday quoted, but it ended up not even being delivered on Tuesday. The delivery team kept scheduling delivery for times that I had already told them I would be at work and unable to take delivery. I had to call and/or text multiple people many times to cancel and change delivery times. It was pretty stressful. The manager would say one thing, then someone from the delivery team would confirm it. Then I’d get a text from the delivery team giving a completely different time, and it was always a time when I had already said I wasn’t going to be able to be home. I grew increasingly frustrated with the situation and eventually cancelled my order by telling my salesperson. My salesperson did not tell me that I had to cancel my order in person until several days later, when I asked her when I could expect the charge to be reversed on my card. I am disappointed that I was not told this sooner. So I went into the store, and the staff was very nice. They apologized for my experience and tried to make the cancellation process easy. However, I did have to stand there for about 20 minutes while they figured things out. It should have been pretty straightforward, but there were issues with finding the right people to sign, and also with printing the thing I was meant to sign. All in all, this was a huge hassle that was all for nothing. I ended up buying a hybrid mattress in a box from Amazon, and it arrived the very next day. Why didn’t I do that first? It’s a fine mattress, and I didn’t have to deal with any garbage. Ashley needs to change their delivery provider. Their current delivery team is incompetent.

It is a beautiful store, and it has quality products, but the prices are quite high. We found some options, but we could not buy due to the high prices. It may suit some people, so it may be a good idea to visit it. Free parking is available, and parking is available for people with disabilities.

We found exactly what we wanted, and the price was even less than posted.

They don’t stand by their stuff. Go next door to Big Lots and get the same quality for a lot cheaper. I bought a recliner in August ‘22 for about $900 (including the extended warranty). 9 months later the chair fell apart. Ashley was actually great about sending a technician out to look at it, but he could not fix it on the spot. A few days later Ashley notified me that it would have to be handled by the extended warranty company, which resulted in another month+ before I could get my chair fixed. Buying experience wasn’t bad, price was mediocre, and quality was substandard. Add that the company not standing by their product, and I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Selection: The selection is okay with a larger variety of styles than others in the area.Service: the service was obnoxious. Right when you walk in, there is a gaggle of sales people at the door. Ours wouldn't let us out of their site. We were not given an opportunity to look around. It felt so pushy that I was sure they were hiding something. My thoughts are the furniture are very cheap and they don't want us finding out ourselves.Either way, we won't be back. As a neurodivergent person, I found the whole experience overwhelming. I found pieces I would have bought but not under the current situation. We'll buy online, if we decide to go with this brand.

Took a full month to deliver, which is understandable since I ordered online. However, delivery went to the completely wrong apartment complex, despite me telling two different staff members when scheduling that the GPS would take them to the wrong place. I told both people how to correct the problem and get to the right place and both people assured me they would document it and make sure the drivers knew. When the driver called and said he was here, and he wasn't, I told him he might be at the wrong building, but there was a language barrier and he didn't understand. He literally hung up on me, thinking I'd be right down to let them in. I had to actually drive to where they were and have them follow me in my car to my complex. On top of that, they were rough with my furniture and literally threw the cardboard and packaging all over the place (they did clean it up afterwards). Very unprofessional and I had to pay $150 for "no hassle" delivery. The other option was to deliver to my doorstep so I (a single woman) could carry the love seat up the stairs myself. Absolutely ridiculous. I was warned by two friends not to shop at Ashley, but I did anyway because of the wide selection. Moving forward, I won't shop here again, and will pass on the warning to others.

I had two salesmen help me which was Ray and Ozzy and they both were very knowledgeable and helpful and I did not feel pressured at all and the store manager Ed greeted me and also helped during the sale. I would recommend them !

We came in to look at furniture for our new home. Kady went above and beyond our expectations and by doing so has earned our loyalty to Ashley. She was quick to greet us and enthusiastically sincere to assist us, gave us a quick overview about Ashley furniture, allowed us space to look around, yet was always nearby as soon as we had questions. We didn't intend to look at mattresses but fell in love with one as Kady showed us our options, different features, financing, etc. Besides being very knowledgeable, Kady was personable without being personal and comfortable to work with. Ed could not have been more helpful and kind. Ed created a no pressure environment and was not your typical salesperson. He went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for. I will only ask for Ed at the Lansing W. Saginaw location.

Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Went in the store 6/19 to purchase a mattress instead of online. Was told it would be about two days it is now 6/23 no mattress and they forget to send it. Excuse it was a new person. Receipt clearly says ready for delivery. I would have it had I ordered one online. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I worked with Kady Lynn to purchase a mattress. Kady was very helpful. She asked about my sleeping habits and helped with my back issues. There was no pressure and I there for approximately 45 minutes before making a decision. Kady was very helpful and a pleasure to work with!

Great experience for shopping for the he house. Usually people try to run up on us trying to get us to buy stuff and not let us breathe. With Corey it was just that lol. But he did it with ease. He literally walked with us and talked with us and not just about furniture but life. I didn't know thus man from anything but we could relate. He listened to us and and was like if you don't like it your not hurting my feelings. He showed us things based on what we said. We weren't going to buy anything just browse and shop around. Guess what joke was on us and because of his excellent customer service we bought bedroom and living room furniture. The greatest thing about everything he gave us great deal with the assistance of his manager. This man was sent ffrom the heavens above. Ashley, appreciate this man at what he does. He goes above and beyond. I feel like I got more than a salesman, I got a friend. I got his card and number, and I will definitely be checking on him.

Malik was helpful when selecting our first new couches. Brought the kids waters and gave them snacks. Even with all three of them being a little hectic it turned out to be a good experience. Spent almost triple what we intended but we are happy with the selection. Also got us a discount, and a free vacation! Definitely recommend this store and Malik! Left originally a 5 star because of the rep, gonna drop it now because the lack of cooperation since purchase. Still haven’t gotten that “vacation”, was supposed to come with delivery along with other documentation, they left nothing. Spoke to three different people, all told me they would get it to me, mail it to me etc. almost 2 months later still nothing. Pretty sure it’s just a sales tactic to get you to spend more. Won’t be returning, other than the sales team customer service is horrible after you buy
