I have such a terrible experience with Ashley store. We bought a 7 piece sectional recliner, genuine leather. It was a pain for us. It had a manufacturing defect.I would never go to Ashley Store, it was a first time but very bad experience. 👎

Huge store with tons of bed frames, bedroom sets, dining tables, and mattresses. Lots of workers around if you have any questions or concerns. They do push taking a loan or credit card out for furniture, which I cannot recommend

I appreciated their respect to our specific measurements and style of furniture. We moved into a small living room area and needed a couch that was comfy but not too big. Although we ended up picking the couch we wanted online, they still showed us similar options to get a good idea.

It was frustrating getting the furniture here but it was worth it and the sales team was very nice and pleasant. I'm guessing their delivery system was malfunctioning but either way we have some beautiful furniture now ☺️
Had to change my view. Made purchase with Kendall 2 weeks ago, told we'd have our bed a week later coming from Jackson, still no bed. End week told it's on back order, week later, no bed, still today 6/10/24, and told another 3 weeks. WOW! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and RELIABILITY! And again people Kendall (store mgr) dropped the ball again. Still today, say he says it'll be delivered, not there, no call to customer, no text, no email, no update to customer. His service and word is NO GOOD

Ashley sells the Montage warranty knowing they won’t cover any repairs. We bought a sectional two years ago and the frame broke and they are claiming it’s normal wear and tear. The warranty is a scam. I’ve been fighting with them for 3-4 months and they are still denying even after I’ve sent them multiple pictures and paper work as a stalling point. They even denied it before a tech even came out. I fought for a tech to come and he said yeah it needs to be repaired and would order the parts. Come to find out they denied the tech too without even contacting me. I had to call for a status update and was notified oh sorry our techs can’t authorize anything. Really then why have them at all. Stop selling the scam warranty that doesn’t do anything. You are stealing people money period.

Ed sold us an awesome sectional. He let us browse by ourselves and was available for questions and to run numbers. While we haven’t received our furniture yet, we’re very satisfied with the experience.
I just bought my first sectional from Ashley furniture. I’d just like to say I went to furniture row in lansing and I was basically laughed at for going in and looking at “one of the most expensive couches”. (Let me kindly state that the couch I got at Ashley furniture was way better quality!) At furniture row I Was asked if I ever bought anything expensive like that. When I went into Ashley furniture in Lansing I was kindly met by a woman named Lara! Lara is lovely. She welcomed me like any other customer and didn’t treat me differently for my age or the way I dressed. She most definitely didn’t ask me if I could afford anything specific instead She walked me around the entire store showing me every couch from expensive to not expensive. I ended up falling in love with a sectional that was actually the same price and the one at furniture row but Wayyyyy more quality! I couldn’t thank Lara enough for helping me find the perfect sectional for such a picky girl. I highly recommend if you go to Ashley furniture you check out with Lara! She is so kind welcoming and will make you smile and not want to leave till you find the perfect one! Her patience went above and beyond when we walked through the entire store and back around again just to find the perfect sectional for me.

My daughter bought a $3400.00 couch they replace the cushions the new cushions are all on even what a joke.... Worst purchase ever!!!
I ordered a dining table and 4 chairs with an arrival date. I called for over two months to check on arrival status. I was told each time it would be in the store in a couple of days, but never received a phone call. Finally, after being hung up on by in store customer service and then by my sales person, yes, my sales person, I contacted my credit card company. Poor customer service and no communication.
This review is not a reflection of this store specifically but of the company as a whole. I’ve tried leaving a review on a product and apparently the reviews are screened or something because all you see are the good reviews on there and the honest one I tried to leave is not there. As a company they have no follow through or follow up. I ordered a swivel rocking chair that also reclines online. When I received it and put it together, the chair leans forward making it hard to rock in it and impossible to recline because the footrest gets stuck from the chair leaning so much. I tried reaching out to the company to see if there’s a simple fix to this, no response. I opted to return it. I called customer service and the person said I will not be responsible for shipping since the chair is not working as intended. Someone else emails me the instructions for the return but says I am responsible for the shipping. I email back telling them that the customer service rep on the phone said we didn’t have to pay for shipping. They emailed back and said they will pull the audio recording of the phone conversation to confirm and get back to me. No response again. I’ve called again and asked if I can take the item to a store to return it and skip the shipping altogether, they said it has to be shipped back if it’s bought online and they would review the phone conversation and get back to me. And again no response.
Orlando and Eddy delivered our furniture. These guys came with a can do attitude and no door was going to defeat them. Ray made sure we got the best deal for what we wanted and the experience as a whole was great.

Jordan was great. We bought a sectional sofa along with the king size tempurpedic mattress and power bade and felt we got a great deal. We really felt that he explained everything we were getting in a way that we understood it all. Good job Jordan.

Purchased a couch from here and it has honestly been the biggest pain since we purchased it back in 2023. We were told it would be about 6 weeks to come in. It kept getting pushed out and pushed out for months. We finally received it, albeit after many run around phone calls, and were happy. After a short time of having the couch, one piece completely had the inner support snap out of nowhere. We were able to get a tech out, but again it took some rescheduling. They came out with a replacement cushion because they didn’t listen to what we stated was wrong. Once they determined it was more than a cushion, they had to schedule yet another day to come pick up the piece of the couch and repair it in shop. In addition, we paid extra money for the warranty that covers stains as life happens and we usually have company quite often. We had quite a large stain on the couch and called to get it taken care of. We have now been rescheduled FOUR times and are now pushed out through Mid April for the cleaning service with no real guarantee it’ll happen that day. If you enjoy getting the run around and having things pushed off because they don’t want to send a tech to your area for just one person, this place is for you. Otherwise, stay away!
Had to come back in and do a protection plan and pick out some more furniture.At first I was getting the run around.Make me upset.Then I got a hold of Kendall, then, when I went in on Saturday, Hogan took care of me she can tell. I was a little hostile. She calmed me down and took care of me very well. Made my experience better. Thank you, Hogan and Kendall.

You may be tempted to shop around but you need only to step into Ashley to find the service and quality you are looking for. The Floor Manager Dameyon listens to your needs and offers valuable advice to find you the best deal. Arrikkah is also very friendly at the front desk. If you’re looking for great pillows and bedding, Purple is the way to go! We are satisfied customers and you will be too!
Stop searching the internet for furniture. Get in your car and go to Ashley Furniture and ask for Kim Markoff. We shopped all day around lansing and finally found the couch we wanted and Kim worked miracles to get us the best deal. Very professional and knowledgeable about her craft.
I ordered a Futon Sofa in Navy with velvet material. I received a ugly dry green in linen material sofa, that looked like it itched when you sit on it. The customer service was horrible. All that they would tell me was I would hear in 3 to 5 days about the return. They couldn't tell me when I would receive the sofa I ordered. I finally spoke with a supervisor and quess what. The sofa I ordered was now out of stock, so they just sent me whatever. This is beyond ridiculous.
Kim at Ashley did a wonder job!! There was no high pressure; she took the time to answer all our all our questions and got us a great deal. We plan on using her in the future for all our furnishing need!!!
I am very disappointed in the level of service and the run around that I was given. It has been over 30 days we have been waiting to have a bed frame set up. This is after calling 7 to 8 times to talk to a manager to get this situation addressed. With that said, when I said I wanted to return the frame bc it we have been waiting for over 30 days we were told that they are still going to charge us the restock fee. Restock fee for something that is still in boxes and NOT set up due to us waiting for a part to be delivered. Over priced and I would never order something from them again. Awful service from hounding store sales rep to delivery department "customer" service in Lansing and Jackson.

Quality-Price relationship is not very good. Staff was not helpful at all. They used to put way more effort into selling, I will rather shop online if I ever do, never in person. I have had a couple of experiences, awful service.
It was really nice shopping here. There is a lot to choose from, and even though what we saw online wasn't in the store, they were still able to get for us and got us discount on top of that. The salesperson we dealt with was nice and quick. I don't even think we were there an hour and we love our new bedroom set!!
UPDATE: They scheduled delivery for yesterday between 6pm-10pm and we spent the whole night waiting for them and they just never came! They couldn’t even be bothered to call and tell us they weren’t coming? UNREAL! Seems like they are purposely giving us a hard time at this point. BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSINESSES WITH THIS COMPANY. We are still out $950+ and have no bed. They clearly do not want to make this right! We purchased a bed set from Dameyon on 11/11/23 and unfortunately what began as a great experience initially has turned into a nightmare for us. Upon purchasing the bed set for our new home we were told it was “in-stock” which was important to us. Once delivery was scheduled it turned out that the headboard was “damaged” or no longer in stock. In retrospect I wish we had just cancelled the order at this time but we decided to wait patiently. And wait patiently we did, as it took 2 months of us sleeping on the floor before the headboard was delivered so we could assemble the bed. Once we finally had all the pieces for assembly we quickly realized the footboard was defective and missing the metal latching pieces internally. Now almost 3 months later we continue to sleep on the floor and the only resolution offered was to continue to wait several more weeks for them to ship a new footboard. Very disappointed and wish we had spent the $2,000+ elsewhere.

Angela was so very helpful! We found a living room set we love and the whole process went smoothly! That was the purchasing process…. This is after….. Ordered a couch with chaise, ottoman, and chair. Couch gets delivered with the wrong color chaise. Sounds like the chair was lost somewhere and I was told that I need to call the store and have them reorder it, and it’s already been 4 weeks. Another 3 weeks later, I call the store and they have the chair ready for pick up. But delivery isn’t included because they only deliver one time! The day the couch was delivered it was an all day affair!! Now dealing with this!! The manager said he’d make it right and we could stop into the store. Went in and he gave us a $200 credit. Well, ok, we spent $2,200, only got $225 in discounts to begin with, plus paid for delivery. But I’m trying to be nice! Pick out an accent table for $249 and rug $239. Purchased both off the floor. Get home and look online, the rug is on sale for $180 and the table for $110 not assembled. But we bought it off the floor, so the price should be the same as online!!!! So really, no, we did not get a $200 credit. I just called to find out when our chair is getting delivered and the person tells me they are waiting for the ottoman and table and rug!! What the heck!? We have those!!! That’s when she told he that delivery is only one time! Are you kidding me!! No manager is working right now because it’s 6:15pm! Again, it’s retail, are you kidding me!!! And now here I am, BBB reviews, Google reviews, Bing Reviews. Wish I would have read these reviews before shopping there. I will make sure others do!!! No way someone spending over $2200 should get this kind of run around for 7 weeks!!! Or spend any money!!! We didn’t ask for any discounts, didn’t haggle, didn’t even complain much.

Great customer service. Ray helped us with ordering a bedroom set. Be sure to check online prices versus in store, sometimes in store are way more expensive than online. Other than that, look for what quality you want and order up!

Purchased the regent park sectional and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Extremely comfortable, plenty of room for family and guests. Definitely a napping couch! We had Scott as our salesmen and he was great! We had our two young boys with us and he was so patient, not pushy whatsoever and guided us to what we truly wanted. Ed was the manager and was also amazing. Would definitely do business with them and Ashley again.

The vibe is just different. I came from Value City to Ashley. I was not so happy leaving Value City but right when I and my family got to Ashley, our mood started to change. Ozzie who welcomed us was very nice and helpful. He showed us around and gave us all information we needed. At the end we were able to pick a really nice couch after having many choices. They stayed late to make sure we finished everything and they didn’t have any fuss at all. Also the financial packages were great. Very satisfied with everything.

The manager gave me a gift card in response to a problem we had, which was very much appreciated, and will have me giving them another chance with my business. Unfortunately the price we agreed upon was later changed by the company, by quite a huge sum, which was a huge disappointment.

We were able to find a couple options for our living room. The salesperson was very available without making you feel they were looking over your shoulder. Everything as far as selection and purchase was good. We will have to see about the furniture when it arrives.

Hodan was so helpful, knowledgeable and professional. She knew exactly what we were looking for when we explained. At check out Arikkah was quick and efficient and very greatly appreciated. It was overwhelming, at first, because I was pre-approved online through Synchrony, for $1,000, but denied in the store. Then Corey hooked me up with Snap Finance and got me approved for $3,500 and I ended up getting not only a couch, but the entire living room collection, like I wanted. He was also very friendly and accommodating, giving me water and soda, while I waited.
Ozzie is the man and he knows his stuffs. Great experience with him and will recommend anyone to him anyday

Picked up my furniture, assembled it at home and the configuration was wrong when I specifically told Lara that I wanted the corner chaise on the left. Had to drive the sofa back to warehouse and now have to wait for a new one that is on back order. They reorder the the sofa and it came in damaged. Now have to wait another 4 weeks. This place is a joke. What a hassle. Stay away!!

Store staff: 4/5 Delivery team: 0/5 I was greeted by a salesperson when I entered the store, and she helped me find a mattress and box spring that I loved. I was waiting on my new card to come in the mail, so I didn’t make my purchase right then. I called later and ordered over the phone with the information that the salesperson had written down for me about the products. Unfortunately, I wasn’t told that ordering over the phone would delay delivery. I called on a Wednesday or Thursday, and they said they couldn’t deliver until the following Tuesday because they had to make sure the charge went through. This didn’t work for me because I was sleeping on a cot at the time, and I had expected quicker delivery times, what with the $1,100 price tag. I was also disappointed that I hadn’t been told that I could have paid in person to speed up the process. That would have been no problem for me to do, but they had encouraged me to order over the phone instead of coming in after work right before they closed. It seemed they didn’t want to stay late for me. I really wish they had told me the full story and then given me the choice to come in or order over the phone, instead of pushing for the phone order. My salesperson and the manager tried very hard to get me delivery earlier than the Tuesday quoted, but it ended up not even being delivered on Tuesday. The delivery team kept scheduling delivery for times that I had already told them I would be at work and unable to take delivery. I had to call and/or text multiple people many times to cancel and change delivery times. It was pretty stressful. The manager would say one thing, then someone from the delivery team would confirm it. Then I’d get a text from the delivery team giving a completely different time, and it was always a time when I had already said I wasn’t going to be able to be home. I grew increasingly frustrated with the situation and eventually cancelled my order by telling my salesperson. My salesperson did not tell me that I had to cancel my order in person until several days later, when I asked her when I could expect the charge to be reversed on my card. I am disappointed that I was not told this sooner. So I went into the store, and the staff was very nice. They apologized for my experience and tried to make the cancellation process easy. However, I did have to stand there for about 20 minutes while they figured things out. It should have been pretty straightforward, but there were issues with finding the right people to sign, and also with printing the thing I was meant to sign. All in all, this was a huge hassle that was all for nothing. I ended up buying a hybrid mattress in a box from Amazon, and it arrived the very next day. Why didn’t I do that first? It’s a fine mattress, and I didn’t have to deal with any garbage. Ashley needs to change their delivery provider. Their current delivery team is incompetent.

It is a beautiful store, and it has quality products, but the prices are quite high. We found some options, but we could not buy due to the high prices. It may suit some people, so it may be a good idea to visit it. Free parking is available, and parking is available for people with disabilities.

Update: I received a phone call from the General Manager apologizing for the experience I had. He asked me to come to the store and they would try to make the experience better. We arrived at the store and was greeted by the gentleman at the front, then again by the District Manager. In short, this management team went above and beyond to ensure our experience was excellent. We will definitely be back.

They don’t stand by their stuff. Go next door to Big Lots and get the same quality for a lot cheaper. I bought a recliner in August ‘22 for about $900 (including the extended warranty). 9 months later the chair fell apart. Ashley was actually great about sending a technician out to look at it, but he could not fix it on the spot. A few days later Ashley notified me that it would have to be handled by the extended warranty company, which resulted in another month+ before I could get my chair fixed. Buying experience wasn’t bad, price was mediocre, and quality was substandard. Add that the company not standing by their product, and I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Took a full month to deliver, which is understandable since I ordered online. However, delivery went to the completely wrong apartment complex, despite me telling two different staff members when scheduling that the GPS would take them to the wrong place. I told both people how to correct the problem and get to the right place and both people assured me they would document it and make sure the drivers knew. When the driver called and said he was here, and he wasn't, I told him he might be at the wrong building, but there was a language barrier and he didn't understand. He literally hung up on me, thinking I'd be right down to let them in. I had to actually drive to where they were and have them follow me in my car to my complex. On top of that, they were rough with my furniture and literally threw the cardboard and packaging all over the place (they did clean it up afterwards). Very unprofessional and I had to pay $150 for "no hassle" delivery. The other option was to deliver to my doorstep so I (a single woman) could carry the love seat up the stairs myself. Absolutely ridiculous. I was warned by two friends not to shop at Ashley, but I did anyway because of the wide selection. Moving forward, I won't shop here again, and will pass on the warning to others.
I had two salesmen help me which was Ray and Ozzy and they both were very knowledgeable and helpful and I did not feel pressured at all and the store manager Ed greeted me and also helped during the sale. I would recommend them !
Ray helped us out both times that we went into the store and he was very attentive and made sure to acknowledge what we were looking for!! He definitely is the reason we went back!

We had been shopping around different stores for a while and could have gotten a couch anywhere, but our experience with Damian made all the difference in deciding to purchase from Ashley.
Definitely has a good selection to choose from. I originally ordered a sectional couch that ended up being too big for my living room and they had no issues with immediately letting me cancel the order and choose another item that would fit the room. Was told it would be about two days it is now 6/23 no mattress and they forget to send it. Excuse it was a new person. Receipt clearly says ready for delivery. I would have it had I ordered one online. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Great experience for shopping for the he house. Usually people try to run up on us trying to get us to buy stuff and not let us breathe. With Corey it was just that lol. But he did it with ease. He literally walked with us and talked with us and not just about furniture but life. I didn't know thus man from anything but we could relate. He listened to us and and was like if you don't like it your not hurting my feelings. He showed us things based on what we said. We weren't going to buy anything just browse and shop around. Guess what joke was on us and because of his excellent customer service we bought bedroom and living room furniture. The greatest thing about everything he gave us great deal with the assistance of his manager. This man was sent ffrom the heavens above. Ashley, appreciate this man at what he does. He goes above and beyond. I feel like I got more than a salesman, I got a friend. I got his card and number, and I will definitely be checking on him.
Malik was helpful when selecting our first new couches. Brought the kids waters and gave them snacks. Even with all three of them being a little hectic it turned out to be a good experience. Spent almost triple what we intended but we are happy with the selection. Also got us a discount, and a free vacation! Definitely recommend this store and Malik! Left originally a 5 star because of the rep, gonna drop it now because the lack of cooperation since purchase. Still haven’t gotten that “vacation”, was supposed to come with delivery along with other documentation, they left nothing. Spoke to three different people, all told me they would get it to me, mail it to me etc. almost 2 months later still nothing. Pretty sure it’s just a sales tactic to get you to spend more. Won’t be returning, other than the sales team customer service is horrible after you buy

She helped me so much shopping new furniture for my new apartment while nerding out to the music playing overhead. She was absolutely great! The sales lady, Lara, did a fantastic job of showing us what we were looking for several times over and giving us a price on each. We settled on what we think will be a great piece of furniture but that remains to be seen as we await delivery.
I can’t say enough great things about Ray the sales agent and Rene the CSR. Ray went above and beyond to get me the information I needed (by phone) since I was 3 hrs away. I gave him the description of the furniture I was interested in and he helped gather everything needed and walked me through the process. I will purchase from Ashley furniture again in the future! These 2 employees were kind and courteous over the phone and did not get frustrated with my numerous questions. Great employees!

I have had the absolute worst customer service with this company. Within six months, my recliner broke as did the stitching on the seat. I bought the extended warranty and it is an absolute joke. They came out twice to fix it with having the wrong repair items. After that, I was promised twice that they would swap out the recliner for a new one, and it did not happen. I took off work three times to have them come out and they were not able to repair my piece. The experience working with them has been absolutely stressful! I would not recommend them.

My wife and I just went in to get ideas for furniture in our basement. Our salesman Ed was very helpful and knowledgeable, even showing us pictures of products we were interested in that he and his family members had in their homes. He was able to get us a deal on the couch we wanted that was so far under our budget we decided to get some furniture for our bedroom too. The checkout process was also a breeze thanks to Quinn, who hooked us up with a free vacation to Orlando! I’d recommend this store to anyone and tell them to ask for Ed!

*updating my review* This afternoon I got a call from the manager I origionally spoke with, Kendall. He apologized while not discounting my experiance, and IMO made up for the issues I had. I would give the store another shot. *updating my review* Don’t shop at this store!! I ordered a table and chairs at the beginning of March and paid in full at the time of the purchase. Was told 1-2 weeks for shipping then I could pick it up. An entire month goes by without me hearing anything so I email my sales rep and receive back an email full of typos/no punctuation basically saying she doesn’t know what the hold up is. So I decide to just call and speak to a manager about it and he says he’s sorry for the inconvenience but shipping takes 4 weeks so I was told the wrong information. He sent me a gift card in the mail and said that when my items arrive that he will have them assembled for me. I thanked him and went on my way. Finally a week later my items arrive so I call ahead the day of to schedule a pick up and to confirm that my items would be assembled. I was assured they would be. I get there and they are not assembled and 3 out of 5 chairs are not the color I ordered. So I all the store again, speak to a different manager. He apologizes but acts like he doesn’t know what I’m talking about when I mention the items should have been assembled. After some back and forth he says when my last three chairs arrive he will have the assembled and delivered to my house. That was now 5 days ago, I called this morning again to follow up and am told my chairs are in the warehouse just waiting to be picked up but that all of the managers are out so I’ll have to wait until they are in to talk to them about it. Such a headache and for no reason other than poor communication between the staff at this store. Don’t waste your time, shop elsewhere.
We had been looking for a living room set with very specific criteria for a while. No one seemed to have what we were looking for. Dameyon took the time to find what fit our needs and found that he could order it for us. He took the time to show us one that was the same frame and a different one with the same fabric since they did not have that specific set in store. We ended up ordering it and it was delivered within the estimated time given when we ordered and we are just in love with it! Over all very happy with the experience. PS the white glove delivery was well worth the extra cost.

My husband and I purchased a end table and larger table and was told 2 to 4 weeks. My husband called after 4 weeks. Were told we had to come in and pay in full before they would ship our things to the Lansing Store nothing was ever said that it had to paid in full... Was told last week it was in Flint and would be here on Tuesday. Called today and they told my husband it was now in Jackson. Now won't be there until Saturday. Not very good communication with your customers. He has called a total of 6 times. And the 4th time they finally told him it needed to paid before it was shipped. Not very happy. Could of just ordered it off Amazon and not had all these problems. Now too see if we get what we paid for on Saturday????

Filed two claims that never got resolved. I kept all emails and records of all calls. 1st claim for Bed, 2nd claim for sofas. I kept recieving the run around from customers service through emails and in the store once I got fed up with getting no where. After a year of nothing I just said forget it but after that situation. I did decided to purchase from here once again! I know! Why right? I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I normally have a good experience. I Loved all my first few purchases from ASHLEY'S mind you I've re furnished my entire house twice from here . Because i never had an issue, until I did! Once matters wasn't handled accordingly after I did my part. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Dont get me wrong both mangers of the lansing location normally takes great care of my family needs. I've never had an issue with my service from one of them but my last experience with K my situation didn't get resolved leaving me wasting $3000. I was left disregarded! I had to buy another sofa. Here's to the other claim of me recieving the wrong mattress. I didn't notice until after a month because I had my child so we never switch the room until I got well bed stayed packed up. so about 30days after purchased I noticing I received the wrong mattress due to body aches which caused me to check because I bought the same bed I had before and which we LOVED. so we just decided to just purchase bigger size from what we had already. I did all required forms, submitted requested photos all to once again not this error/situation resolved and shoved off. Which left us still stuck with having to buy a new one and given that practically new one away. Lastly I just bought a new Sectional for about $3700 with extended warranty let's just say me & my husband is not happy. i'm over getting played by Warrenties and poor service. Unfortunately, This will no longer be my first choice for furniture!

He spent 2 hours working with me finding the best deals possible and without a doubt would have probably spent longer if I needed. Amazing service and I couldn’t be happier. I actually got my delivery Two days later and was able to cancel from the other store. Very helpful, efficient and reasonable.
Be careful “delivery” does not mean assembly the drop it off like Amazon. They will tell you what they want to hear to sell and then not care about you after. They also lie about the deliver time.

My new couch seems great so far, but when I bought it they said I could pick it up at the back of the store 3 days later. When I got there and called, they told me that they had moved it to their warehouse 15 minutes away without telling me prior. A simple heads up would've been nice.
We shopped on a Friday was told Sunday or Monday our furniture would be in never got a call I had to call to check on the status then was informed that if we were picking up our furniture we had to give an hours notice which by the way the sales rep never told us so I called again on Tuesday to see how much delivery was for sure because we couldn’t get a truck anymore and the customer service rep gave me an exact price that was way less then our sales rep said it would be because we did ask about delivery while we were in store so now over a week later I might get my furniture! So the question is stuck in my head about how honest was my sales rep ???? Not sure if I would recommend this place or not!

It's been a struggle working with the Lansing building. Started out great and now that I'm in the process of swapping out the bed I bought it hasn't been easy. I was told I needed to comebto the store to start the process and was told I can pick out what I want to save myself another trip, I live an hour away. They didn't tell me they had to set up a day to come look at the bed in my house before they could order the new one. I was approved to swap, and still had to go back to the store and setup the new bed delivery. I set it up on the phone but had to go in and sign and pay the difference, orginally I was told that could all be done on the phone. When I got in I had to pay more than what they originally told me I had to pay. And while I'm there they tell me there was no reason for you to have to come in. I don't know if policy's change often there but being two different things more than once is ridiculous. Customer service needs some help in that building. I do appreciate everything Kady did for me in this process as I know it was just as frustrating for her. Just wish communication was better and their policy's were better known to save customers trips when they aren't needed.

I had a good experience. I was helped the entire time and they were helpful and informative. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have certain couches on display so I wasn’t able to test a couch I was interested in. But I did leave feeling confident about my purchase thanks to the manager informing me about longevity and what would hold up better. I also won a trip for 2 for spending a certain amount. Overall, a good experience.

Our experience at the Lansing Ashley location was amazing, Ray our sales person was very patient with us, whe thought we wanted a sectional but fell in live with another beautiful set instead, he was fantastic with my kids as they didn't want to furniture shop, the building was clean and tastefully set up to give the individual spaces its own feel.
Anthony was good to work with and was able to price match. Edit: Delivery times seem like random numbers thrown out there. Dealing with delays and promises and it's been a month with no delivery date scheduled still. Was told 2-3 weeks and now it's 5+ with nothing still.

We loved the furniture so much we ended up also buying a new sectional couch, ottoman and bookshelf. Edit 9/12: While the above statement stands, I must lower my review based on the HORRENDOUS delivery system and customer service of the Ashley delivery staff. This is based on three main reasons: 1) Extremely poor communication and unreliable delivery windows; 2) Not showing up at the scheduled delivery time and having to reschedule twice; and 3) Not helping my wife (at home with two kids under two while I'm out of state at a conference) move the current furniture out of the way and indicating they could for an additional fee (which is ridiculous because if they showed up at the original delivery time that they missed, I would have been home to help my wife move the current furniture). In today's day and age, delivery scheduling should be automated for the benefit of the customer and company. I am very disappointed by this and the poor customer service. It took me everything not to make this a 1-star review, which was only prevented because of the positive in-store experience we had. Edit 10/27: we exchanged the couch for a different piece of furniture and the service, logistics, and delivery were much better.

First off, sort the reviews if you want the raw truth about this place. They try to hide all of the bad reviews suspiciously. I personally found out the hard way, then read the reviews after shopping because I thought no way. Anyways shop at your own risk. My brother and his wife went after I told them I got all these "good deals and was PROMISED DELIVERY IN 4-6 WEEKS. I must have been a fool to believe that in the middle of a pandemic. They were stalked by employees and very upset i had recomended them, having no idea how bad they actually were (not being at that point yet) 4-6 weeks came, no one reached out.. actually had to call personally Every month. for update. I feel like they lie and cheat and us customers don't get the product or even get it in any time they promise. Not right. this is a sad way to prey on people.
Both sales team members were extremely helpful, answered all our questions thoughtfully and checked with a manager if they needed more information. Dameyon and Jeylin respected our time in the store and were very efficient. Dameyon went over and above to make sure all concerns were addressed. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Warning! All of the positive reviews on here were definitely written by staff of Ashley. I have shopped here 3 times and every time there was an issue. Do not let them talk you into their “pay over time promotions”if you don’t want them to completely screw you on interest. They are quick to sell these “promotions” If you miss one month on accident they will not give you grace period and you are stuck owing 3 times what the furniture was sold for. Predatory sales tactics, will back you into a corner to sell you something. Do not trust them. They will lie about back order times and ect. Will absolutely never step foot in this store again. The customer is always wrong.

I visited Ashley two different days this week looking first for a bedroom set for my son and then again on the 2nd day for the mattress to go with the bed that we knew we wanted. Hodan greeted me both days and she was very helpful and informative throughout our visits. She paid attention to our needs as customers and was also happy to help us any way she could; often walking from one end of the store to the other multiple times to get 'this information', or 'that information', etc... Hodan is very professional to say the least, and never pushy at all. I made the purchase for a bedroom set as well as a mattress and had an opportunity to meet Ken and Gia during the checkout process and they were great as well. I'm happy that I chose to visit Ashley as I had never been to one of their stores before. Overall we had a great experience both days and I certainly look forward to buying furniture at Ashley again (Couches for the living room are probably next).

Very disappointed that I had to unwrap my own sofa and loveseat. I also have to attach the legs myself and the furniture does not even have pre drilled holes in order for me to do that. I will never again order anything again from this place.

We ordered a bed in December that was supposed to be delivered in February originally, but we were told that it could take longer. The bed was then pushed back to June, then pushed back again to July. We ended up canceling as the bed wouldn’t have had much room in the new home we bought, and we still weren’t sure it would ever arrive. However, that’s not my main concern. The issue has become my refund. We originally put money down on the bed and had gone through their finance company for the remaining amount. Once we cancelled I was told I had to come into the store to sign off on the cancellation. When I arrived I was told I would have to wait 48 hours for the refund to be sent back to Ashley’s before they could process the return at which point I was told to come back in and sign the cancellation. After having to drive back to the store for the third time to complete my cancellation, I was told my money would go back on my debit card. It’s been over 4 weeks of me calling to check on the status of that refund, and I still haven’t received anything. I’ve been told that I’d be called in 24-48 hours after each call I made, which has been 5 calls, and I’ve never been called back. Now I’m calling customer service and they answer the phone then immediately hang up on me. Hoping that this post helps get something resolved here.

Don’t buy anything from here if you’re expecting quality or if you’re expecting to get your furniture anytime soon. We ordered our entertainment center back in November. They told us initially to expect it in February or March. As of writing this it’s June with no expected delivery date and an estimate of sometime in July. We just bought a bunch of furniture from several different furniture stores in the area they all had delays. None of them had delays like Ashley furniture did though. Every piece of furniture From Bobs, Value city, And furniture row Were delivered months ago. And they were all ordered at the same time. Also don’t expect to be able to go into their store and browse and peace. Obviously their employees work on commission but they will not allow you to just look without stocking you around the store and trying to commandeer your browsing. They are worse in every conceivable way than every other furniture store In the area.
Moe was amazing. Gave us space, used information about our lives to give informed recommendations, and ultimately was just a very kind person. Due to a system issue, a one hundred dollar discount we expected was not generating, and Moe quickly found a solution that corrected our balance. Our couches will be delivered on a Sunday, conveniently for us. Thanks Ashley, thanks Moe!

It was such a pleasure working with both Kady and Aleah. They made the process easy and they were quick and efficient. Kady made sure we were able to get the best deal and she was very friendly and helpful through the process.
They sold us a couch with a warranty they never intended to fulfill. The salesman sold us the warrenty that would cover dogs kids excedra. Its been 5 weeks and now they are sending us to a 3rd party. Trying to get ahold of the warranty department has been a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. Negative stars if I could.
I wasn’t going to buy a mattress from Ashley, just checking prices. Ed was very professional and he answered all my questions. Even if the answer was he “didn’t know. “ He didn’t try to snowball me by making up an answer. Ed was great. I even bought a entry bench which I did not plan on buying either. Quinn was super nice. Bought a $800 wood table, it cracked within six months.
First, I would like to say our salesman Ed has been nothing but wonderful. Our first visit we purchased 5,000 in furniture and we love it. Getting it in and delivered was time consuming but it worked out in the end. So with that, on our second visit we ordered 7,000 in bedroom furniture. A month or so passed was still waiting on furniture. During that time we found out that my fiance had to have heart surgery and I was diagnosed with severe RA. Knowing our medical were going to be in the thousands, we decided furniture may have to be put on hold. I went into store to cancel they canceled it for me. I told them I still wanted the table. When we placed the order for the bed we also got a mattress cover which was 299 which Ed gave us to take. It was never opened and we never got the bed to put it on. They would not return it nor give a store credit. So, the little end table I wanted ended up being almost 600 instead of 199. And of course, the original sale was financed. DO NOT TAKE ANY BEDDING HOME WITH YOU WITHOUT HAVING THE BED FOR IT AS THEY WILL NOT RETURN OR GIVE YOU STORE CREDIT. I now have a 299 king sized mattress. I don't have any king sized beds. Waisted money that I will never get back for something of use. Needless to say, fiance and myself will never shop there again and we needed more items as we had bought a new home. Unfortunately, this was done on financing and I will wait to see how the credit and changes go through.Make sure you read the fine print and again don't take bedding with you have it delivered with your order and know delivery could take months and may not happen when they say. I have a bad feeling on this transaction. Sad, as I really like the furniture there and we were gonna go back for more but, not now.
We went here after a different store sold us a couch then called the week it was to be delivered and said they can’t get it and canceled our order. So when we picked a couch to buy they looked it up and said “we have one built in a warehouse in WI” so we bought it. This was first week of February. They have rescheduled arrival time twice and now informed me it will be Middle of July as they can’t get materials. Obviously Ashley lied to us to make the sale. Super underhanded since we just told them what happed at a different store. Very upset. We rented chairs from rental area for my guests to sit on at my sons graduation party and believe me everyone will hear why they are on rental chairs due to awful service from Ashley. I am so disappointed with my Ashley Furniture experience I do not know where to start. On January 8, 2022 my husband and I purchased a mattress, adjustable base, bedroom set, and living room set. Our sales rep, Yoandy, was knowledgeable, personable and professional. He let us know up-front that due to shipping issues, our bedroom furniture would not be available for a couple of months most likely. That was fine for us as the bedroom furniture was not the priority, the mattress was. He told us the mattress, adjustable base and living room furniture would be available for delivery within days and a rep would call us to set up delivery. We shopped a couple other furniture stores and returned to Ashley because we like the service and honesty we received. Fast forward a week, no call from Ashley Furniture store so I called them to see when my new mattress and other items would be delivered. We got it scheduled for the following week. We got rid of the old mattress, bed frame, and living room furniture. The living room furniture and adjustable bed frame was delivered without the mattress that I was promised was in stock. I called the store, they said sorry but we don't have that mattress. Mind you this was AFTER I had gotten rid of my old mattress. I relied on what the sales rep told me. The Ashley Furniture rep said it would be weeks to get the mattress they promised me in days at the point of sale. Finally, on 3/19/2022 my mattress along with some of my bedroom furniture was delivered. They put together my dresser, chest and nightstand. TWO HUGE PROBLEMS with this delivery! They did not have my footboard. Without the footboard, the headboard and side rails cannot be attached. So the delivery men left the headboard and rails in the middle of my bedroom and told me the footboard will be delivered the following day. Also they delivered the wrong mattress! Of course I called Ashley Furniture. I spoke to Sherelle who said someone would get back to me that day. That never happened. I called the following day and spoke to Thigpen who said they would deliver my mattress and pick up the incorrect one on Monday (wasting my time on a work day). Thigpen says that regardless of what the delivery drivers said, there are no footboards available. So I have an uninstalled headboard and rails laying in my bedroom for weeks at this point. My last contact to date with Ashely's store was on 4/15/2022 when I called to find out when my footboard would be in. I spoke to Tiara and she says possibly early May. So, long HORRIBLE story real short, we purchased multiple furniture pieces from Ashley in Jan 2022 and we are almost in May 2022 and still have not received our order. I understand shipping delays but this is absolutely ridiculous. As that may be the case, the positive in this story is that most of the representatives at Ashley have been empathetic and cordial. I don't usually leave negative reviews and that is the reason it has taken me so long to post this review. I did not wan to write it but four months and many missteps later I am very dissatisfied with my purchase experience. UPDATE: I received a call from Kendall at the Lansing store earlier today. He apologized and made every attempt to find a footboard for me but there aren't any available in the style of furniture I ordered. As stated in my review above, the staff have always been great and that was the number one reason I made the purchase from Ashley. I would like to revise my star rating as I believe my experience is not indicative of most customer experiences. I can appreciate a company that puts forth an effort to satisfy their customers. I understand that at times things are out of the hands of the company as this situation seems to be. I will further revise the stars once my headboard arrives in a few weeks. UPDATE: Kendall at Ashley Homestore sent gift cards toward a future purchase. That showed me and my husband that Ashley's is more than just talk. They are trying to take action to make the situation right.

We had a quick and easy experience buying a couple of recliners at the Lansing Store. Our Sales Rep Dameyon was very helpful and patient. Every one was friendly and courteous including the cashier Quinn who made finalizing our purchase painless.
My experience with Ashley Home store-Lansing was amazing. Walked in, a sales rep named Scott, was at front entrance told him we were looking for a mattress, couch. Found them both, Scott was very knowledgeable of items that were displayed. When we went to purchase items, met CSR Aryian Very friendly and also knowledgeable of her job. I will definitely make Ashley Home Store-Lansing my store to purchase again.
For our first visit to the Ashley store in Lansing, Dameyon M. Was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was nice that he just allowed us to browse the store, and not stalk us, like so many furniture sales people do. He answered all of our questions succinctly, and when he didn’t know an answer he researched and got back with us promptly. We definitely will be back.

I appreciated the low pressure approach when In the store. We decided to buy online instead of from the Ashley storefront. Either way, if you buy from this retailer the customer support is terrible! Used the online chat option twice, was told rhat someone would be getting back to me within 24 to 48 hours. 5 days later I called customer service and no record of my prior conversations. The item that I purchased was a mattress, and was told that they use a third party vender, so there was no way to get a firm delivery date. "Third party vender " for something you sell in your store? I feel like there should be a disclaimer before you order stating this. Cancelled my order due to poor customer support.

I recently had a pretty bad fall and desperately needed to get a lift recliner like yesterday! My husband had called around and not much happened until we called Ashley Furniture Store and spoke with Howard. We explained what we needed and how urgent it was we get this item delivered quickly. Howard showed us some options on their website and with some great advice from him we zeroed in on what looked perfect for us. My husband went to the showroom and purchased it and with Howard’s help we secured the perfect chair and he pushed through for a faster delivery with his manager Kendal’s help and we had it the following afternoon!! We love love the chair and the amazing customer service we received including our delivery team! Thank you more then you know! It has been extremely stressful these last few days and this was such a coordinated act of kindness and superior customer service!!
They were not pushy at all. We came in and did a lap or two around the place, and then we were approached by a sales rep; Kady. She hooked us up with a great couch and an amazing warranty plan. The following check-out process with Quinn was also very smooth. Super excited to receive our couch in the following weeks!

Taylor was superb at check out because we were the last ones in the store and she still gave us service with a smile even after closing. Walked in was able to get sofa and love seat which was delivered the next day. Our sales representative Ozzy was very professional and Aleah our CSR was very polite and friendly. We were also impressed with the beautiful furnishings, accessories. There is a very large selection for everyone. We will be back.

Went to this store to get some furniture as quickly as I could. The sales representative Ray helped me get everything put together in a quick and concise fashion. Marisa helped me with the terms of the financing and I was on my way in short order. My furniture was delivered on 2/21 and the delivery is why Ashley gets a 4 out of 5. Two gentlemen placed the furniture in my home and got everything unwrapped, set-up, and put together. They even removed all the garbage from my home, or so I thought. Going outside the next morning I had plastic, styrofoam, and cardboard thrown all over my backyard. Overall im happy with my purchase and my furniture looks great but it would have been nice to not have to go outside in the rain and pick up after their delivery people.

Ray from Sales sold me a couch, it was a great process, he went above and beyond. Unfortunately the delivery process wasn’t impressive, they did schedule it quickly after I called to inquire why I hadn’t gotten a call within 2 days, the delivery drivers came to drop of the couch, and asked if I wanted it in my garage, I realized then they were lazy, after getting it dropped in my living room, I requested they take the plastic wrapped around it, he ignored me, took a photo of the couch in my living room and left. I was not impressed. Update: 1 part of my couch needed to be ordered. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks, after 6 I called and the customer service rep stated there was no update and to call back after 8 week, called back after 8 weeks, there is still no update but now it’s not a guarantee to get it in 6-8 weeks it is just a guess, so they told me they will call me when it arrives. That is ridiculous!

My sales rep was Yoandy and CSR- Marisa. I went in hoping to find a lifting recliner for my 97 year old great grandpa that had broke his Femur. He is going to be coming home in 3 days and they were able to find me a lifting recliner that is suitable for my great grandpa and I was able to bring it home the same day if I was able to! I'm not able to pick it up due to transportation issues till tomorrow (the next day) and they had no problems holding it for me! Yoandy was very helpful in finding a chair that would check off all the needs for my grandpa! Now my family will be ready for him to come home! Thank you! 10/10 would recommend!

This was my second time coming to Ashley Furniture. When I arrived I just plan on looking around and maybe getting a chair to start off this round. Was a little hesitant because of my last experience, which was corrected by the store manager Kendall once he found out what happened to me in his store. So this time the store manager Kendall came to the rescue right away and helped me find what I was looking for and more. The store manager makes you feel welcomed and make sure you are happy before you leave his store. I got the chair I wanted and more for a good price and with great customer service. The CSR JBrianna was great as well, she was warm, pleasant, got my paperwork together and me out the door in a timely positive manner. Went in here with my fiancé a couple of times to look at sofas and ask some questions. Howard was always super helpful and a delight to work with. Ended up purchasing our new sofa with Howard’s help, and he made that a quick and easy process as well. Highly recommend asking for his help if you’re looking to purchase!! The store is nice with beautiful pieces just be ready to be assaulted by the staff. Even after telling them you needed to try and measure and they make the statement that they will leave you alone to shop. If you have any questions or find something we liked to find him. I get it, you are working on commission but considering he came back to drag us to a different part of the store 5 times after making that statement. You lost our business. *Update per the store's request I tried to call with the number given at 2:30 in the afternoon. I hung up after 10 plus rings with no answer or message stating the store was closed today. At this point I do not have any further interest.

We had a great experience at Ashley Homestore when we went to buy a sectional. Howard was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, put not overly pushy like some salespeople. Very pleased with our experience and can’t wait to get our new couch!
Lovely experience. My wife and I came in on a fact-finding mission to learn about what couch styles were available, how much they were, and some other details so we could make plans for a purchase later. We found a sectional that hit all of our preferences that was miraculously 50% off, bringing it so under our hypothesized budget that we had to jump at the offer. Our salesperson, Howard, gave us plenty of space to explore the showroom and talk amongst ourselves. When we told him what we were looking for, he helped point us in the right direction while sharing important things we should keep in mind, like how some sectionals weren't easy to re-configure while others were, etc. He didn't hover. He didn't upsell. He answered all of our questions straightforwardly and honestly. We weren't going to make him a ton of commission on our budget couch, but he still spent ample time with us going over all the questions we had. Nadia, at the front counter, was also lovely to work with. She went over the paperwork, helping to make it all easy to understand. A lot of what she went over were questions we'd already asked Howard, but it was great to see that there was a robust process to ensure customers knew what they were getting. Financing was a breeze and the terms were very understandable. The fact that the Lansing location we visited also delivers out to our home in Jackson was a major plus. We'll definitely be back for future furniture upgrades!

JUNK!! They sold me a used couch. Told me I would hear back from them and never did. I would not recommend buying anything from them. The couch I bought is already breaking down and it’s only over a month old. Junk!! I will never buy anything from them again! Yoandy was great to work with trying to get us what we were looking for with furnishing our new house. I had received a 30% off coupon in the mail however it didn't specify what the 30% off was. Once inside we were told it was for 30% off their protection plan which they were originally charging $799 but dropped it to $399. We were put off by that I expected money off furniture not an outrageous protection plan. We then visited unclaimed freight for comparison. They were able to get us the same bedroom furniture and living room set for 500 less then Ashley and the same protection plan for $199. Although the employees were great to work with words to the wise to shop around because there is probably a better deal. Ashley did offer to beat unclaimed by 100 less but we decided to stay with unclaimed since they gave us the deal and ordered the items without being paid in full. Unclaimed will also hold the furniture until we are ready to move in a few months.

Howard and Marisa were great and made the whole experience very pleasant, quick and easy. It was a little difficult to understand the pricing of pieces because it seems the store is selling financing as much as they’re selling furniture, but that’s baked in- not the fault of anyone on the floor or at the desk. Nice place with very helpful (but not aggressive) staff. :)
The store is crowded and a bit chaotic-possibly because of Halloween decor. I did find a couple of items that I really liked though. Unfortunately, one was damaged and couldn’t be repaired. Takes some patience to look around.

The staff were great, the sales rep Brinn was awesome she was attentive, eager to answer questions, patient with my slow decision making, and very professional! My experience was wonderful from the time I walked in it felt like home. As I walked around the store and saw many different varieties of furniture. Ed my sales rep show me the quality of the furniture, I asked him do you have any wipe clean furniture I have children. And sure enough Ed did he was able to find something in my budget and ALeah started my paperwork I needed to make two payments to pay it off she made the arrangements and now I own the furniture thank you Ashley furniture. Please shop Ashley furniture but the delivery could be a little less

Called to place an order because online was not letting me choose a different option but the $149 delivery. They placed order for me and the price was $100 less and I only have to wait 3 weeks not 3 months :)

We are moving into a new home and visited almost every furniture store in town. Ashley had a wide range of selections, but due to current supply chain issues a lot of furniture delivery dates were not fitting our timeline. Our salesperson Ray was extremely helpful and patient and work with us to make sure we got what we were looking for. They are overall a solid team and I would definitly reccomend shopping here.

Great customer experience working with Sandi and Marisa. Sandi is a great sales representative. I never felt any sales pressure and she was very helpful when I was ready to make my selections. Marisa was quick and efficient with my checkout. She walked me through the availability for each piece and the delivery process.

Ed was great in helping me select furniture and following up with me on additional information I requested. Alexis was helpful when paying for merchandise over the phone. She was able to answer several question I had. Both were very friendly. Alexis told me she would sent me email information I requested via email in about an hour or so. She followed through and I received the email.

The sales representative was very kind and helpful, they did not make an effort to upsell and we're very accommodating to our budget. My husband, Andy, and I came to Ashley HomeStore looking for a recliner or a loveseat to make our living room look more balanced and complete, Tiffani, the outstanding salesperson, was so very helpful and patient! First we didn't know exactly what we wanted. After showing her photos of the living room, she had some very good suggestions. She took her time and showed us everything we were interested in. We discussed delivery and set up, and again, she was patient to review that for us. We ended up sending our original purchase BACK to the store and went to see Tiffani again. She earned her stripes, so to speak, in tolerance, with us. She directed us to what she thought would work. We purchased it and it did! It looks great with our painting and other furniture around it. My family went shopping for living room furniture. We first visited the new store Bob's were we recieved exceptional customer service beginning with us being greeted by multiple store associates during our visit in the store. We found a set but had wanted to check Ashley's before making the purchase. Once we got to Ashley's, we stood around while a table of store associates, didn't move to assist us. Finally, Kady assisted us and she was superb.....However, it was very distasteful to see how she was treated by the other male associates and especially in front of a potential client. Seeing a woman treated in this fashion, has me not wanting to spend our hard earned money in this store. I pray this is fixed ASAP as word of mouth can make or break a business.

I went to look at one item I saw online and was happy to purchase two rooms of quality furniture. Salesman Ray was helpful but no pressure. The service was ok. Our salesman didn't know alot about the furniture and shipping details. He had to keep leaving us to find out. A lot of the furniture was not available and shipping was 6-8 weeks. Not happy about that at all. Would have bought more but no availability.
The service was amazing! Howard helped me find the furniture that was the perfect fit for me! He was very kind and helpful and told me all about the coverage their store offers. I didn’t really know much about what I wanted before I walked in there but I was definitely satisfied walking out. Aleah also helped check me out and she was one of the sweetest! Scott helped me with my purchase of bedroom furniture today. The process was simple and easy. Lynn took care of the paperwork. Again, simple and easy. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t take advantage of the free sales tax promotion that was going on. I was informed last night when I called that that was happening. But was informed today in the store that it was only being promoted yesterday. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Our salesman Scott, was so patient with my husband & I as we were in the store for hours deciding on the tables, end tables, sofa table, coffee table & more that we wanted for our new home & the new furniture we had just ordered. We felt like we ran him ragged but he just said, “he was doing his job”! Scott was great, very personable, answered any questions we had (which were a lot!), and if he didn’t know something, he took the time to search for the answer. My experience with Ashley furniture so-so. However, Dallas the CSR was exceptional and kind at each and every exchange. Her service made up for the areas in which the store lacked. I would've given them a 3 stars if not for her.
I purchased a mattress over a week ago and am still waiting for delivery. Customer service has been less than helpful and has lied about how and when i have been contacted to arrange delivery. Now I can't even get someone on the phone to answer my question. I will be asking for my money back.
I purchased furniture from Ashley last September. When they delivered and assembled, one item was damaged. I have been trying to get it replaced since then. I made numerous calls, sent them photos twice, and also visited the store. Every time, they say they will replace, but they never do. I am still waiting to get it replaced. It should not take years to replace an item. Very bad customer service!

Ray was very nice and efficient. I spoke with him on the phone and went in the next day and he showed me the Mattresses we had discussed on the phone. I put it on lay away until we close on our new house. Over all a great experience.
The manager is very friendly and attentive, the process very fast. Shipping took a while and had to call to ask about the sofa. Ps. The loan they give is not for your credit nor will it help you raise it.
I was very disappointed with the delivery of my new mattress. The store charges $149 just for the delivery. In my opinion, this is too expensive. The salesman waived the delivery fee which is a good thing because I otherwise would have taken my business elsewhere. The store does not offer to haul away old mattress and box springs so I had to make arrangements with our waste management company, pay $80, and drag the mattress and box springs out to the curb. The two gentlemen who delivered the new mattress and box springs arrived much earlier than scheduled and did not call one half hour before they arrived as was promised. The two gentleman did not speak English so I could not communicate with them. Since they arrived way too early, I did not have time to get the old mattress and box springs out of the bedroom before the delivery. They went ahead and brought the new bed in while I was hurrying to get the old one out. On a positive note, I am pleased with my new Ashley queen hybrid mattress. It is very comfortable and cooling. It was on sale for $640 and a good value. The salesman was very helpful but slightly pushy. He insisted that I buy this mattress and not look at other options. However, it worked out since the it was good quality at a good price.

A lot of places during the pandemic have suffered from poor customer service. I don’t blame these people. It’s tough out there. That being said, the service at this location is on point. We were greeted at the door. Will Payne was extraordinarily helpful. He gave us space and allowed us to browse but was very engaged and answered all our questions. We even came back after visiting other stores because of the impression he left on us. Excellent guy delivering the perfect level of attention and help. Was also one of the few stores in the area with quality stuff that was IN STOCK and not over priced. We will definitely be back. Thanks Will!
Horrible they said the bed and mattress was gonna be ready for pick up the 1st week of August and was gonna get a call when they get it, no call. Went to the store they said the 9th and will get a call, its the 14th and no call. Called now they are saying the 16th for the bed and September for the mattress. This is my first and last time doing business with Ashley store. 5 days later still awaiting a reply from the email they asked for so they can assist ASAP, just assigning a case number doesn't help. Now they are saying estimated delivery is in December. Absolutely horrible store

I probably would have given them a 5 star rating but there were way to many unknowns. The claimed to be having a VIP sale but there were no prices marked. The sales man reminded me of a used car salesman. Then they ask if you would like the 5 year protection plan but can't give you a price for that either. If I were not desperate for furniture I would have shopped elsewhere I surely hopes someone from management or corporate contacts me.

I have to say in regards to my experience with Ashley furniture, I had purchased a chair through them site unseen and I had it for maybe two weeks tags still on it and did not like it went to Ashley furniture to return it and was told it had to of been returned within 24 hours we had decided to order another chair so they were able to do the return otherwise I don’t think they would’ve done it. Here’s my thing though who knows after 24 hours if they like a piece of furniture or not especially when you work so you’re not sitting in the chair constantly. I do want to point out that Ed Our sales rep was really helpful and Quinn The desk clerk was very helpful as well.
Very disappointing experience. My husband found a dresser he wanted. Called the landing location and the store advised that they had 2 in stock. The employee who took the call stated my husband could ‘reserve’ the dresser by texting his credit card information to this Main’s personal cellphone. Needless to say we declined to do so. When I arrived the next morning to purchase one of the dressers I was advised that in fact there were none there and that the dresser was actually located at the outlet store in Flint. When asked if they would ship the dresser to my desired location for free due to the hassle and misinformation they shared over the phone they refused. I will not be shopping here again.
Came in looking to buy a sectional that can rarely be bought and delivered within the week but was able to find and purchase as well as a mattress , sales person will did a great job of assisting with the sale and explaining pricing.
I came in with my sister today to just browse for a mattress. Omar A. greeted us at the door and helped us every step of the way! He was very knowledgeable of the product and was patient while we explored all the options. Every consultant we encountered at the store was nothing but pleasant and she is so happy with the purchase! Thank you all so much for everything!
So far my experience has been fantastic. Upon arriving to the store I was greeted by Kady. She pointed me in the direction to find what I was looking for. After what seemed like the perfect amount of time she found me in the store. I listed what I was looking for and she jumped in to help me problem solve. I left that day with no stress or pressure to buy anything other than what I loved. We made a plan to reconnect on another day. When I returned she spent more time with me figuring out the rest of my wants and needs. I left today after ordering furniture in my budget and just what I needed. I’m anxiously awaiting delivery. Nick was super helpful, but the person that who was supposed to take my payment info put my card information in incorrectly more than maybe 5 times minimum. I kept having to have to ask her to repeat it back to me. The last time I told her the only thing incorrect was the year, told her the correct year, it still didn’t work. After the first time my card didn’t work she said it said “insufficiency funds”, which didn’t sound right so I checked my account and sure enough everything looked good on my end. But every single time she kept saying it said that but she kept putting in the numbers wrong. I finally asked to speak to her supervisor and the next woman I spoke with fixed my numbers and sure enough it went through. So I really liked the costumer service experience I received from Nick and the supervisor, but not from the other employee. Which is why I’m giving 5 stars because they did a great job. But that other employee had me seriously concerned that she was scamming me and going to try asking for another card so I’m monitoring this card very closely until I get a new one.
Worst customer service ever experienced in my life. We bought furnitures at May. Half of my purchase was available in the stock and it was delivered a week after the purchase, but the other half they promised to be delivered at 6-8 weeks, but today is August 5th, and I called couple of times, and every time the customer service give me new date for my order. Yes, it is pandemic but the company should not take advantage of the customers, and lie to them everyday. Also, I would like to share a really bad experience that I had with this company, when I was buying the my furniture, I ordered a rug too, but instead of sending me a new rug, Ashley sent me a used rug that was on the floor. So, it is unbelievable, they sent me old and used rug that was on the Ashley store’s floor than sending the new one. I called them the day after, and just explained the situation, and they promised me to send a new one, after couple of weeks I did not receive anything and my husband called them but they never ordered me a rug, my husband called, I think more than ten times but that was the same story every time, after dozens calls and almost two months, they ordered me a new rug, when my husband got there to pick up the rug, it was not the rug that we purchased, they offered my husband that you just take this or you get refunded, after two months communication and lots of promises they tell you pick the one it is available or get your money back without any apologies. My husband and I still waiting for our second shipment, and they promised August 19th, after couple of times uncommitted promises, but I think this one will be the same, and I am not expecting to get my furniture. When you say to your customer that it takes 6-8 weeks, the customer trust you, this is a verbal promise but not a written promise but the customer trust you, and if you had told me that it might take more than three months, I would have change my mind and would have done the business with other company. So, worst customer service ever.

He wrote up the sales for dresser that we wanted and took us to Lynn who completed the sale and answered our other questions. Both Nick and Lynn were very helpful.
The only reason for 4/5 stars is because the financing site, Syncrohny, was down. I was able to return to the store a few hours later to finish paperwork for my purchase, however, it was a bit inconvenient. Besides that, which I know the store has no control over, Ray and Alexis (the manager and another CSR) were extremely polite, non-invasive with our space, and very professional!

I was a little disappointed as I was told the day earlier that items were in stock. When I was paying, I was told only the couch is in stock. Now I have to wait a week, instead of getting the furniture this weekend as it was implied. They did price match no problem, I showed the website with the final price at check out, and it was a done deal. Ed was very kind, and helpful. I would seek him out if I make another purchase. Alexis, the car, was very kind, and when she could tell I was getting a little flustered, she said, with a kind voice and smile…”it’s okay, relax, we are here to service you. Take as much time as you need, to get what you need” ( I was looking for the website I found the lower price) Overall a good experience, I just wish it would have been made more clear about the loveseat not being in stock. 😎

I normally wouldn't leave a review of a store visit, but my experience warranted one. I stopped in over the weekend with my sister to look at their mattress selection and told one of the salesmen that I would find him if I had questions as I walked in, thinking that this would be enough. It wasn't and already made me feel a touch uncomfortable, but I thought that would pass. He eventually followed us to the section that I was looking for and ignored me when I reiterated that I would find him if I had questions. He would not leave us alone and preceded to linger! After a few more minutes of this, I eventually gave up on my search due to how uncomfortable I felt and tried to leave. This same guy followed us to the door and tried to make another pitch, but there is no way that I could spend a dime at this store, nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. This was a very uncomfortable experience and will be the last time I will willingly go into that store. I understand the fact that he needed to make a sale, but he needs to understand the customer's boundaries and not make the customer, especially two women, feel uncomfortable.
Ordered a sectional that was in stock on memorial day. Called to confirm 3 times that it was there and ready for pick up, including 2 weeks before, 1 week before, and the day before pick up. All 3 times they said it was there. I showed up with my moving truck and it was not there, but in another city's distribution center! The manager basically did nothing other than cancel my order (since we were moving out of state). No discount on another purchase, no offer to have it shipped. Pretty poor experience on the whole.

Then when I ordered mattresses from a different store and they weren't delivered on time Yoandy placed an order & we received it the next day. We are so very thankful for this incredible young man. Ordered furniture in January was told multiple different delivery dates. All from my inquiry not from them updating me via phone, email, text nothing. Customer service projected a piece of the furniture not in until September. I went to the store, they told me they had 5 coming next week, the following week it was the wedge they were waiting on and not the original missing piece. After multiple phone calls a lady informs me all the pieces were here but we're not linked to my order and it should be this week. Here we are scheduled delivery day, to which I made arrangements to be here before 3pm because I have to work. It's now 2 and I have not heard anything. Again, another phone call to customer service and they tell me the warehouse manager will call me in five minutes and hang up. Guess I'll be late to work too. This has been the worst expirence I've ever had. Will be going through ABC from here on out. This company is falling apart at the top.

Worst experience I have ever had. Took 6 months to get my furniture they told me 12 weeks. They never contacted me to let me know it was delayed it was all on me to find out what was going on every month. Finally got my couch which was two different colors does not fit together and sits on a slant. Delivery told me take it or leave it. Customer service has kept me on hold, hung up on me, told me they would assist then not follow through. Had my furniture less than 2 weeks and it broke. Back to the call a million times no follow through. Go to a reputable furniture store. Ashley sells junk at premium prices and they don't accommodate customers. Last furniture was Lazy Boy and it lasted over 10 years I will never settle again. Don't waste your time, money, or energy.

Had a very bad experience with returning a product for the first time. The Customer service manager -JACOB had asked me to come to the store 3 times in 3 weeks so he can process the return and each time he sends me back stating his manager isn't available. HE NEVER CALL YOU and NEVER KEEPT his PROMISE. I lost the 3rd time and Finally complained with cooperate customer care the very next day when I called to store he said everything is processed and no need to come to the store verbally. Still waiting for email confirmation.

Recently purchased a new mattress and box spring from Ashley Furniture. Scott our salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the products in the store. He showed us several options to choose from and what to look for. Scott then, let us browse the products for ourselves without the constant nagging of a typical salesman. Once we were ready, Scott assisted us in getting the mattress we wanted. On top of that, we then decided to purchase a new love seat. Great experience in the store. Customer Service Rep. Quinn was very professional and assisted us with checking out.

Well it’s been about 30 days since I slept well. My wife made a suggestion that we go look for a new bed. We went to value city and looked and laid on a few beds and they were OK . Then my wife suggested that we come to Ashley furniture and we did . As we walked back to the bed department a gentleman asked what brings us in today. He introduced himself so his name was Ed and I told him that we were looking for a bed that was adjustable. He had me lay on a few models and I found one that I liked. He was very good about explaining how this high-tech bed worked and broke it down where I could understand it which I really appreciated. And then he put a price list together for me and wrote it all out and showed me what it would cost me for the bed and that’s when I thought well this might be a little too expensive for me Annette did not pressure me at all he just told me that if there’s anything you could do just let him now. As me and Carolyn we’re about to leave the store had introduced me to a gentleman and I believe he was the manager and unfortunately I’m not good at names unless you repeat it over and over again but I know he has some pretty cool tattoos . And he started talking to me and breaking it down even a little further telling me all the things he could do with financing and really breaking down that you know you spend a lot of time in bed and how important it is for sleep . So when I left the store that day I purchased $7100 worth of bed A day later I I gave a gentleman a ride to his bed store and also I happen to drive for Uber and I mentioned that I just bought a bed from Ashley furniture he told me that he could sell me the same bed for half price . So I visited his store later that day and he said he could sell me comparably The same thing for half price so I thought why not I went back to the Ashley store spoke with Ed and told him that I think I wanted to cancel the contract after they set me up with great financing and they were very gracious and they were ready to cancel my contract and then another gentleman and unfortunately I can’t remember his name came up and started talking to me and Carolyn again and said that he might be able to match that price that they gave me of $3700 so he showed me another mattress with the same base and I’m glad he did I have slept on the bed now for about a week and it’s the best rice I’ve had in a month I appreciate Ashley furniture and all knowledgeable staff Dale and Carolyn woodyard
I would go back. I went in looking for a comfortable and a reasonable price and I was happy to say I didn't have to look Any further. The only thing that they didn't have it in after they told me that it was in when I went back to pick it up, so I just paid extra for them to deliver it when it was in.
Dameyon and Aleah were especially helpful, and we found a great sofa for a great price!
After visiting multiple stores to find the perfect sofa, Ed narrowed one down within 10 minutes and Marisa had us immediately checked out. Nothing like furniture shopping in 30 mins or less.
This was probably the most seamless transaction I’ve went through. Will was quick to point out the exact mattress I wanted based on the details I gave. Alexis was very sweet and patient with the check out process. For sure, going to recommend coming and will continue to shop here myself.
