I came to the Ashley store in Madison Heights. The associate Mr. Jon Wayne Curtis helped me to buy a furniture I like. I have a great customer service and I am so glad I came to Mr. Jon Wayne Curtis to get help , and of course I will come back and buy from him.

Great selection. All employees were helpful and not pushy like other stores.

We went to the Ashley store in Madison Heights, MI to buy some living room ,dinning table with chairs and beds rooms for us and my 2 kids every things are amazing . Mark was awesome. If you go shopping there ask for him. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly.

The manager here went above and beyond for me to help when the customer service didn’t want to. Very friendly and helpful staff here. Update- although they seem to be trying to be helpful at the store, I’m getting nowhere with my issue. The customer service that I’ve been directed to hasn’t been any help.

I just bought an end table from Ashley’s in Madison Heights. What a fantastic experience. Mark Sha… was my sale person absolutely no high-pressure super nice super knowledgeable. I will definitely go back and see him again. I would highly recommend this location. I earlier in the day I had gone out to the Ashley’s on Hall Road and had Alec as a sales person and walked out because I felt so high pressured. So much so.that I will never go back to that one again. Madison Heights was fantastic and I will be recommending that to my friends

We just bought a sectional from Ashley Furniture. We were on our way to another place to look at the sectional we wanted, but decided to check Ashley Furniture first since we had to pass it anyway. Glad we did. Found what I believe is higher quality furniture there. The price was a bit more but worth it. I don't want to replace my couch in a year. The salesman Jay was awesome and knowledgeable and wasn't pushy, he introduced himself and disappeared until I had questions. That's what I like. I hate when a salesman is on my heels talking about everything and I can't think and decide what I want for myself. The manager was nice as well. Very satisfied with the whole experience as of right now.

This review has more to do with the actual products that Ashley sells and not for the customer service repsWe purchased our couch in November 2022. So we’ve only had it for a year and a half. Our sales rep was very friendly and helpful. And we ended up purchasing a $1,000 couch that day. Within a month of receiving it I noticed the flaws in this couch right away. The cushioning in the back didn’t offer much support, and the “premier” foam that they supposedly use for the cushions were already breaking down. There is a wooden 2x4 that runs along the lumbar area of the couch that absolutely kills your back if the cushioned aren’t pushed in all the way, and even when they are, you can still feel the wood when you are sitting on the couch. Between each section of the couch on the back is also wood that sticks out between them. So basically, if you sit in the wrong spot on the couch, you have wood pushing into your back. Fast forward to today… the cushions on the couch are completely broken down. I’ve flipped them and swapped them out for others, and it just doesn’t support as well anymore. It feels as though this couch is 25 years old. When we contacted Ashley about our issues, they had no solutions. We wanted our money back and to return it (on our dime with a restocking fee) but that wasn’t even an option. Ashley’s policies are atrocious, and the minute you walk out of the store with a purchase and your furniture is delivered, you are SOL if the product is terrible. This is just a warning to anyone thinking of purchasing Ashley furniture. You definitely get what you pay for. I would pay more money next time for something else to avoid this nightmare of a couch that we have have now.

My experience earlier today was nothing short of horrible. I purchased upwards of $5,000 in furniture for our business and home only to arrive to pick something up off the floor model to be told my order was cancelled and my money would be refunded . The new manager Lydia had no intention or interest in helping look for another table or provide any sort of customer service to me being very upset. They had idleast 3 people who I worked with previously on my orders all transferred out of this location so no one I worked with could help me besides the new manager . Unfortunately I will never go back nor will I encourage others . It’s a shame because Erik was helpful during my time there . The service has been night and day since the three other employees have transferred out of this location …. So sad .

Charged me for items they never gave me after I cancelled an order with them. Called the very next day to cancel and was assured by two people everything had been canceled and then got a bill in the mail for more than $500!!! I called the customer service # four times and was assured it would be taken care of, but it never was. I called the store twice, some guy named Nate claimed to be the manager and said he would check on it & never got back to me. Then I called the store again and spoke to Lydia who said Nate is not a manager the store doesn’t have any manager and there is no manager or anyone above her that she could put us into contact with to get this rectified! I’ve never dealt with any place more unprofessional than this one. Buyer beware do not go here!!!

They are great when you’re spending money with them but as soon as you try to use the extended warranty they sold you, they will offer zero support. I submitted a claim for my couch that broke 8 months after purchase and have gotten the run around from Ashley and the company they contract the work out to for over 2 months. The employees at the store refuse to look into it and instead will refer you to the service company. The service company will then tell you that you need to contact the store that it was purchased from to schedule service. The cycle continues and you’re stuck with a broken couch.

Originally I had gotten the wrong product, the sales rep put in the wrong order number(honest mistake). I called corporate to tell them since I couldn’t get through to the local store. After a week of me calling them and not hearing back from the local store I decided to go in and see what was up. After I showed the same sales rep the product number on the invoice compared to what I showed him to order initially, he and the manager immediately went to work making phone calls and organizing an exchange and approving it all before I left. Today, the delivery dude grabbed the old box from my door step and handed off the new shelf already assembled. It looks amazing and I’m super happy with this. I just need to clean out the corner where it’s going and I can’t wait!

Mark Shaya delivered exceptional service and was quick to address me when I entered the store and also made sure to check on me while I was in the store. Furniture, places bombarded with sleazy sales people, and it felt like I was honestly talking to a friend which made the experience that much better. I honestly was just going to buy some thing off of Wayfair, but I stopped and just to check it out. He also took the time to explain the different ways I can go about achieving my furniture goals and also made sure to show me additional products. At the time it wasn’t something I needed, but he later discovered that I am going to be purchasing a home soon, and I will definitely come back to him. Thank you Mark!

They have such great pricing for this items and it’s such good quality. I bought a sofa as well as a dining table and it’s worth every penny !

This review is regarding the customer service I received in the store yesterday. I haven’t received my furniture yet so I cannot review it at this time. The customer service received from Jon was wonderful. He approached me as soon as I walked into the store and helped me throughout my search for the right sofa. He provided me with all of the information needed. He was very knowledgeable about the different fabrics & pieces in the store. I had a great experience.

I went to the Ashley store in Madison Heights, MI to buy some living room furniture. Tre was awesome. If you go shopping there ask for him. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture including dimensions, which sofas have sleepers, materials and prices. The manager, Lydia, helped process my payment, arranged for pickup or delivery (I chose to pick up my purchase on my own), and helped close out the experience in a friendly way! I will be going back to shop for bedroom furniture soon and will be asking for Tre and Lydia. They both made the experience enjoyable as I was dreading shopping for new furniture.

Wonderful experience at Ashley’s tonight

I am quite disappointed with my recent experience. I visited the store in search of a few items. While the sales associate was courteous, it was evident she was unwell. I found myself in the bathroom washing my hands periodically as we shared a tablet. She assisted me in locating a dresser and a nightstand on clearance. Despite their damaged condition, I secured a good deal. However, the checkout process was frustratingly slow due to issues with the new system, which the staff appeared unfamiliar with. The amount of times i heard “our system can’t do that” was shocking. Later that evening, I decided to add a few more items to my order. Upon returning to the store, I was informed that the “system could not process” delivery for both clearance and regular items together. Instead, they recommended an independent delivery service for $140, as the store itself could not facilitate the delivery. I had arranged for a friend to pick up the clearance items. Despite notifying the store hours in advance, the items were neither ready nor removed from the floor upon his arrival. My friend, who was in a hurry, was then advised that delivery might be a better option. Consequently, I requested the cancellation of the clearance order, which was processed. However, when I later contacted the store to inquire about the remaining items, I discovered that my entire order had been canceled.

Wonderful and patient customer service from Paul who is one of the managers! Took the time to help my family and I figure out which couch would be best for us and rearranged the couch so we could see it differently

Evan was such an amazing and a kind hearted personal. He was willing to stay 1.5hrs after store closing time to help us out with furniture selection. He told us about all the max deals we can get. On top of all of that, he gave life protection on our couches as a wedding gift. Store manager was very helpful providing overrides and helping us with sorting between the options we had in mind. Overall, it was an amazing shopping experience at Madison heights store!

I'm not very pleased so far. First time buying from them. Sales person was nice, but was told we would bet a text with several different delivery times, and in actuality they give you a 3 hour window. So right off the bat, not pleased, but ok. Now we spent a lot of money on a bed, and upon delivery, there is no mattress, just the base. You can't call the store, it's just "nation wide customer service" she was plesent but not very helpful. I don't think we will be ordering from them .

Ask for Brandon! I had limited time and an appartment to furnish. Brandon figured out my tastes and expertly guided me to pieces he knew I'd like. His recommendations for bringing everything together resulted in a stunning luxury apartment layout! He also helped me choose a bed. I am so happy with my new pillow (it's helping my frozen shoulder) I purchased one for my mom. I have family moving to the area, I will send them to see Brandon! Superman was also fun and helpful!

Started off rocky there was not a sales associate present to greet us. A few moments later we were greeted. Our sales associate was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable about the product ls that we were interested in.

Tre was very pleasant and helpful when I came in looking for accents for an office. I had previously browsed the website, but pictures online only go so far when you need some inspiration. Tre was polite and courteous with recommendations and advice. We probably did four laps around the store coming up with ideas. The store was clean and well laid out, a good place to visit if trying to enhance a room in your house.

I would also like to thank Erik Wise for his recommendation in the type of mattress that was needed for the right comfort our bodies. The both of them were outstanding in satisfying me in my purchase.

Had a great experience; went in knowing the product I wanted to buy, but wanted to see it in person and gather more information. Evan approached me and was able to answer all of my questions, provide measurements and make sure I was able to view a piece of the collection since the specific item I wanted was not on display. He made my visit seamless and not lengthy.

Nathan Williams did an incredible job setting us up on a great deal on bedroom sets for both of our kids (beds, dressers and nightstands) and was quite knowledgeable with the furniture. In addition, Mark Shaya helped us choose the best suited mattresses for our kiddos. Mark was not only knowledgeable with the products but with the science of sleep as well! Store was clean and organized well! Paul, the Manager came over to ensure we were taken care of and explained the awesome promotions the store was experiencing. Lastly, to top off our visit, another salesman walked by and thanked us for our business. Great atmosphere!

I’d never been in an Ashley Store before. Tons of selection. Lots of informative employees to “educate” me on their products. The moment I walked in, ‘my couch’ was right there! (I had been to 2 other stores previously). I still walked around to see every single one! But still went back to ‘my couch’ & made the sale! A great deal; then they offered a better deal! Win! Win!

Tre was incredibly helpful and thoughtful in working with us to select the exact couch that fit our needs. We wanted something comfortable with a chaise and ottoman that would be resistant to kid damage, and also fit within a tricky space. Tre assembled the couch as we would need it to be assembled on the spot in the store so we could really visualize how it would look in our home. We felt very comfortable working with him, knowing exactly how this couch would look setup in the configuration we needed. Top notch customer service and speed of delivery/assembly.

The furniture I purchased was of poor quality and began to look worn after just one week of use. This is unacceptable and I am disappointed with my purchase. The poor quality of the furniture reflects poorly on the brand and I would not recommend it to others. I hope that in the future, the company will focus on producing higher quality products.

John was very helpful and only showed me what I described. I felt a little pressured at the end of my visit to buy something, but I believe that is how sales is done. Besides that John was very nice and helpful, I would definitely come back to this store.

DON"T BUY FROM THEM and DON"T deal with PAUL!!!! We went to Ashley in hopes of getting a new bed frame. Paul was our sales guy and seemed to be very nice, we ended up buying a whole new bedroom set with the adjustable bed frame. When we were signing the paperwork he told us the headboard was on back order and would be 4 weeks (he told us "but don't worry they usually take 2 weeks"). They charge a white glove delivery charge (no choice in that) and because of the back order they would only charge us once. The delivery day came 2 weeks later for the dressers, no headboard that was still on backorder, they put them together and told us everything was good! it looked ok and when they left we noticed they did not remove all the packaging on the drawers, It was broken right down the middle and the top two drawers could not be used. I called right away and told them, the lady I spoke to said it would be replaced that same day. I received another call stating it would take another week to get in the dresser. After multiple phone calls that included trying to reach Paul leaving him multiple messages without any return call (even to this day no call) I even spoke to the store manager who told me that I bought it and there were no returns and nothing she could do about it. They did replace it but they just showed up no prior call, Thank goodness we were home. Fast forward to 5 weeks later and we get the headboard delivered, when the guys put it together we looked at it and noticed there was a gap in the footboard and it was lower than the rest of the bed frame. He tried to tell us that it was suppose to be that way... UH NO!!!! it was upside down!!! They had to take it all apart and put it together right, which is an understatement. They still did not screw all the bolts in tight, we had to do that ourselves. The guys that came had no clue as to what they were doing nor did they seem to care. This whole process was horrible even and the quality of the furniture (we bought their "BEST") is not very good at all.

I had the best sales clerks in search of bar stools for my kitchen Lydia and Paul the manager helped me find stools for my new kitchen island. They were knowledgeable and accommodating to my needs. Warm personal care and attention. I was at Madison heights location first visit but not my last. Quality furniture go see I'm not kiding you won't be disappointed. Thanks guys!

I purchased furniture a couple of weeks ago they ran my credit. I got approved through synchrony because they had the best terms and rate. The sales associates explained to me that I would only need the synchrony card. When I was expecting the synchrony card to arrive in the mail, I also received the Concora card with a $3000 credit limit, however, I never wanted to use the Concora card because I only needed the synchrony one. I reached out to the sales associate. He told me that I did not have to activate the card, and it would not affect me. Well, I checked my credit report and by them authorizing the concora card it brought my credit score down. I am extremely upset and I will never return to Ashley furniture store or recommend anybody to come to the store.

Mark helped us purchase king size bed as well as some high quality pillows. Our intent was to come and purchase a mattress. Mark educated us on the difference of each mattress. As well as taught us the proper way of sleeping on a pillow. We spent about 2.5 hours in there but it was worth every moment. I appreciate his patience and working with to get us what we needed. I will definitely be back to furnace the rest of my home.

Visited Ashley Home Store for the first time just to look at beds. We were greeted by Jay and he showed us a number of bed and mattress options. Jay was extremely knowledgeable. He found us the perfect mattress and bed based on our needs and sleep types. Very enjoyable time and Jay was able to get us a great deal for the best bedding for our needs.

Jay was a very friendly, knowledgeable and patient sales person. He didn't stalk us in the store or act aggressive. He listened and gave great information and suggestions on the items I was looking for. All of this was after I called the store 3 times trying to find a product in stock. I ordered a 1600 dollar couch on Friday the sales guy Omari, Kern was all over the place while I was trying to purchase the couch, he kept leaving and showing furniture to another person while I was trying to pay for my order and set up a delivery I found it very rude and unprofessional, to top that off he set up delivery for the next day Saturday 3/2/24 I paid $169 dollars for delivery and when Saturday came around no one called for a time so I called the store and talked to someone who was extremely rude saying they don't set up next day delivery that I was wrong with the date, he looked up my order and realized I was right than said we'll I don't know why you're sales guy set it up that way but it will be delivered Tuesday no sorry nothing just kept trying to blame me for the mistake, I asked to talk to a manager he told me they are busy at the moment but will call me back, now it's Monday no one has called me back I just wanted to know why did they promise me delivery on Saturday I had a family member waiting for delivery because I had to work all for nothing. The worst customer service, never again I will late my hard earned money to a different company. The picture shows the delivery date scheduled for 3/2/24. I bought purchased it on 3/1/24 I never asked for next day delivery he OFFERED in the first place. Plus I told the sales guy I did not want the fabric protection he said he is giving it to me for free and lowering the price for the sofa so it will come out the same I am sure he did that so he can make more commission as well

It was a wonderful experience! Did NOT get approached at the door. Was allowed to walk in and look without sales people being on the attack. We felt with Lydia and she was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Very personable without being overly pushy and all up in my face trying to up sell me.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY AND DO NOT WORK WITH MARK, TERRIBLE SERVICE. The delivery was made to my home when I was not present and my mother signed for the delivery. The delivery and assembly for the furniture was terrible. The rails of drawers did not open or close properly, the slats on the bed frame were not installed on the bed frame and just left on the side, and there were parts missing from the bedroom set such as the support legs for the slats. Furthermore, there are damage and scuff marks on all parts of the furniture, especially the chest. There is a dent located on the bottom part of the left leg of the chest, which causes the bottom most drawer to not fully close. When I initially noticed these issues, I contacted the sales representative, named MARK that sold me the furniture He did not reply back to my text even after multiple attempts. Then I was out of town for a week, and once I was back in town I reached out to MARK again. He stated that I would have to contact Ashley’s customer service department. I ended up contacting customer service multiple times with no resolution. They kept stating that I had 72 hours from the time I received their furniture to report any issues and now I cannot return or exchange it. However, I did report the issues as soon as I noticed, but MARK did a poor job in getting back or communicating the issue at hand. I also ask to speak to a supervisor once I call customer service, and I am always told someone will give me a call back. However, not once has any supervisor called back to resolve this issue. I also contacted the store and spoke to the store manager, CAROL and SHARON who were of no help as well. She mentioned that she placed an order for replacement products and I would receive them on 1/21/24. I have not received those products. This company fails to take responsibility for their mishaps. The furniture is of low quality and I want a full return and refund on my order.

Ashley homestore made getting my daughter bed a breeze. This is my first big bedroom purchase for her and Brisa was top notch with her customer service. Brisa made picking out the bed so quick and simply and it wasn’t a business transaction, it was a joining of customer becoming part of the Ashley family for life. Unfortunately service was not continual once it was time for delivery. The driver made it in the window they promised but the bed could not be put together due to missing hardware. Another day to wait, I guess. February 28. update No call back and it’s been awhole 24 hours and we have not heard back from anyone! My child’s bed sits with no assembly and that’s dangerous to my current situation involving my child! So this is truly adding to stress in our home life. I called every number they listed for them and no luck. I had to call the warranty company just to get through to an Ashley store associate. And they still didn’t help at all. Now I am now left to figure how to assemble it with no hardware.

I went to Ashley Homestore during the president's day sales. I worked with a new employee, John, and he was helpful in assisting me with the purchase of two chests of drawers. He really emphasized the value of what I was purchasing and made sure I knew who to contact if I had any questions. John was assisted by a fellow employee, Mark, to complete my transaction. It was nice to see a teaching moment with consistent question, explanation, and feedback, as they answered all of my questions and completed my transaction. My items will be delivered to my home, so despite not having seen them yet, I feel confident that the employees at the Madison Heights store would be willing to help if I need it.

Salesperson Lydia was very pleasant and gave us good options before we made a purchase. Store has good options at fair prices. Delivery was smooth also.

My wife and I bought two of the exact same couches different colors. One came in great but they overcharged me for it. The other was discounted and was also on back order. I waited 7 weeks for the couch. I got a call it came in and I took the day off work as well as rented a U-Haul to pick it up. Half of the couch came in and they said they discontinued the rest so that’s all I could take. Had I not asked the people loading my U-Haul they would have sent me home with the half a couch. I went back in to get help and Paul K, older miserable guy had the worst attitude and did nothing. His manager Sharon was nice but offered nothing more than a tiny discount on ANOTHER couch not the same but a different one that was more expensive and different color. Tried to charge me $500 more for the same couch I bought in a different color??? Mohammed the sales rep was nothing short of a sleezy furniture salesman. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE. They should have actually helped. Maybe on top of a measly $200-300 discount free delivery? A real apology not a hey it happens? Terrible customer service in this place I lost a whole day off and 7 weeks waiting for a couch that was discontinued and never coming. Terrible way to make up for your mistake. If you have any care to read this you should know who this is and our order. Feel free to reach out and make it right somehow.

Huge beautiful new store

In store experience was good (polite and helpful salesperson), but it seems like Ashley Furniture is working against it's own brick and mortar. In hindsight, I paid more than what was the prices were online, and there isn't a return policy, so I'm SOL for the piece that didn't work out in my home. My bad for missing the fine print, but transparency would've been appreciated.

PSA. They don’ fake bad reviews but they can fake the good ones… Alright well I never thought I’d be one to post a review let alone a bad one but here we are I guess. Not only was the sales person I talked to taking me on a wild goose chase, the customer service was the absolute worst I have ever seen. After getting my shipment of items the bed frame came defective (missing vital pieces). 5 phone calls later and 6 consecutive days of talking to the customer service they finally said they were able to ship the piece. 10 days. I was very respectful throughout the process and not once did I get an apology or offered anything to compensate. It took 10 days to order the bedroom set. 6 days to get a hardware piece that wasn’t included with it. 10 more days to HOPEFULLY get the right piece. I have always admired Ashley’s Furniture that’s why I am very dissatisfied with my first time buying from them. Update: I got shipped something completely unrelated to anything I had multiple phone calls and conversations about. Called back and still didn't even get offered an apology. Now they’re shipping me the right things so they say. 100% recommend everyone to find what they’re looking for somewhere else. It’s unbelievable it’s almost as if they’re playing a game called who can be the most useless person on staff.

The furniture is appealing but it’s one of the lowest quality I have have purchased from. I HARDLY sit at my dining table and there’s scratches everywhere on it. Way cheaper online than buying from store and they’re overpriced. Please save yourself and go some where else.

Horrible experience. I ordered a furniture set which didn’t fit which wasn’t their fault however I did a reselection and have been going back and forth with them ever since. They attempted to make a delivery and it was the wrong color and side of the sectional. Called the store multiple times and could never get anyone on the phone. Went to the store a couple different times to get the error corrected. Spoke with Paul who I was told was the supervisor he advised he would take care of it and reach out to me to let me know the status, never heard from Paul Or our original sales person Lydia. Received a call two weeks later from someone else advising the set was discontinued. Now I am calling back and forth to have them pick up their furniture that they incorrectly delivered and still can’t get anywhere. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture store. For Ashley’s furniture to be so expensive I expected way more.

If you could put zero stars, I'd do it. BUYER BEWARE - you cannot return anything "after delivery". It does not matter if delivered damaged or wrong, they simply run you round and round between the store manager (never calls you back) and customer service, which cannot help you. They delivered the wrong chairs to a table set, 30" barstool vs. the 24" chairs, the table was damage, gouged out in multiple places and looks like someone already tried to repair a scratch on the top. The delivery guys just zoomed in, and said sign here and bailed. I never even got a chance to look at it all. Well, I was at least smart enough to reply to the auto chat bot email on delivery and provided all the pictures, including the store floor model. That's about the best that's happened, it's been 7 weeks, still have stupidly tall chairs sitting in corner of room and a table I can't use. I just want them to pick it all up and be done, but it looks like I'm going to have to just dump it at the door of the store as I am unable to get anyone to call back or follow through. They are NOT part of Ashley furniture, it's just a name to make you think they are, they are no different than any of the other furniture stores. Do you self a favor, if you find something you like, take a picture and go to Furniture City or Gardner White or someone else.

December 3rd I went in to buy a couch. I decided to finance it and my sales rep Muhammad copied my info and applied for 2 extra cards without my permission. I was only suppose to get the one card from the bank that associates with them. They also scammed me with the price of it. The price of the couch was $1,000 online but in stores they were selling it for $1,300 saying this was a “holiday sale”. They tell you if you finance and pay off in 12 months they can knock the $300 off. It’s just a scam to finance with them so they can sneak and steal your info to apply for cards. I’ve made multiple calls to the store and it only directs you to customer service where they talk in circles and you get nowhere with them. There has been multiple reviews and even at your location where this isn’t the first time this company has done this to people.

Not even worth a star. I have purchased the bedroom furniture set couple months before the wedding, which was in July of 2021. However, Seller Jefferey said i will have everything by end of the year. This is when all HELL started. Everything started getting pushed back and some of the partial delivery I get comes broken. Delivery people just drop the item and try to leave when i can cleary see the drawer sets are broken. Even bed frame they just screw the hell without looking at the instruction. Some were installed with wrong screw and could not be disassembled. Also, some of the screws were grinded which i could not turn any more to take off the screw. Even the people who came from CHICAGO pick up the broken funiture said People delivering at Detroit location always do this and they get the blame. Seller Jefferey instead of taking responsibility he avoided. I got sick and tired of waiting, because my wife was pregnent and didnt want her to sleep with the bed on the floor. I have been calling months and months demanding for refund. I have purchased the bedroom set on Madison Heights Location and found out the Seller Jefferey has moved to Novi Locaiton. I call both places, only thing they would say is there is nothing they can do because furnitures are delivered. Delivery people deliver the furniture broken, what the hell do you mean their is nothing you can do? I have called been calling the place over a month and finally got me through corporate office and i got full refund. I went to crate and barrel immediately and got the furnithure i wanted in 3 month. DON'T BUY FURNITURES FROM THIS PLACE.

I went into Ashley’s furniture to purchase a sectional. I found a couple I liked and told the salesperson muhammed that I was going to show them to my husband and see what he says and come back. He told me there is a promotion if I purchased today I will get no charge for delivery. So I went home and found one of the options I liked on a different site for a lot cheaper. I called Mohammed and asked if they matched the price, he said not off that website. Later he called me back and said he can do it for a price but it was still higher. He told me to send him a picture of the item on that site to see the price. I sent him the picture with the item and price of everything. He later called me and said to talk to his manager for a final price. I talked to her and she told me I can get you the sectional for $2,900 out the door but you have to get it today, so me and my husband and kids dropped what we were doing and went there. When I got there muhammed ran my credit so I can do the 6 months promotion and he went and talked to another manager named Paul. Paul then later came and told us we can’t do that price because that was actually for a different sectional. I told him that I sent him the one I wanted with the picture of it and everything. He then tells me “well you decided to change your mind,”. Very rudely! I told him I didn’t change my mind I sent him the one I wanted in the text message and even talked to him on the phone and told him which one it is. He was very rude and blamed me. I asked him for the store managers name and he wouldn’t give it to me. I was very upset because they ran my credit for no reason. The worst nationwide furniture company

Where do I start. I originally went in store to purchase the Johnelle Cocktail table. The gentlemen I worked with was great. He told me my delivery would be arriving Oct 10th No problem. The delivery drivers brought it and it was defective. The slab under the table where you place the screw was non existent. I called customer service to get a resolution and I requested either some sort of compensation or an earlier delivery because I needed the table for a family event. After going back and forth with them, requesting a manager, you know how that goes they agreed on giving me 50 store credit and delivering the new table. I said okay fine, canceled my family event and waited one week. Now they brought the table and it was even put together for me. I live on the second floor and they even brought it up for me. great. Few hours pass, I clean and start to decorate the table and come to realize it’s the wrong color. I have pictures of the old one and the new one. I called customer service and spoke to Xavier to which he asked of me to send the pictures. I did. He continued to argue with me that the website only makes the color gray. Yes, I agree. But at one point this table did come in the color gray brown. If you look on amazon and search Ashley Johnelle Cocktail Table you will get the option to purchase two colors which proves my point that it originally had two colors manufactured even though only the gray is offered currently on Ashleys website. Anyways I asked Xavier after fighting with him to just return the table and I can purchase it elsewhere. He kept arguing with me and said we can’t return it since you purchased it in store. Then Xavier decided to go mute on me. He stopped talking. Mind you I was nothing but respectful with him, didn’t curse, and just asked for them to be fair. So I hung up with him and called back then I got Monica who told me to text pictures to a number and that there is many associates and someone will review this and get back to me in twenty four hours. I said okay thank you and continued to sent the pictures then a computer replied to me Hello are you looking for an update on your Ashley order yes or no. Seriously guys. Now they refuse to give me my refund and take by the table completely. It’s either send me the right one or take it back completely and give me my hard earned money. Oh and additionally, I bought a side table from the Johnelle collection from another furniture store and if I place it next to the cocktail table it doesn’t match. So please Ashley’s furniture continue to tell me how I am lying and it is the same table. I posted pictures and you guys make the decisions? Absolutely disgusting of the management here. Update: still arguing with them about the color. You can clearly research and see at one point it came in a brown gray color and it might no longer be made however i got some back stock item delivered today but no one wants to take the blame. Shame on you Ashleys furniture. Your products are great but your quality care of customers is awful. I just want a resolution please and we do not have to bring this issue up anymore.

My recent experience with Ashley Home Store was quite a mixed bag, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. While there were some positive aspects, the overall process left us somewhat disappointed. Firstly, I want to give credit where it's due – our in-store experience with the store associate, Mark, was fantastic. He helped us find the perfect couch, answering all our questions and providing valuable insights into the different options available. Mark's expertise and friendly demeanor made our shopping experience enjoyable, and we felt confident in our purchase. However, our enthusiasm was dampened when it came to the delivery process. Due to a service outage with Ashley Home Store, our delivery was significantly delayed. We understand that technical glitches can happen, but the lack of communication during this period was frustrating. We were left in the dark about the status of our order for an extended period, making us anxious and uncertain. When the first part of our couch was finally delivered, things took a turn for the worse. The delivery team, unfortunately, did not take proper precautions while bringing in the furniture. They scraped our newly refinished wood floors with the couch, leaving a noticeable mark. It was disappointing to see that they hadn't used protective cloth or taken any steps to prevent such damage. When the second part of our couch arrived, we made sure to inform the delivery team about the previous damage. However, the servers were still down, and we couldn't get in touch with any customer support for weeks. This extended period of frustration added to our disappointment. Finally, when we were able to reach someone, we initiated a claim for the damage to our wood floors. Thankfully, we were eventually reimbursed for the repair costs, which was a relief. However, the entire process from the damage occurring to getting reimbursed was far from smooth and efficient. In summary, while we appreciated the assistance from Mark in the store and the eventual resolution of our issue, the overall experience with Ashley Home Store was marred by delivery delays, poor communication during service outages, and damage to our property during delivery. We hope the store can improve its customer service processes and ensure better protection of customers' belongings during deliveries in the future.

My family went in just to look at recliners for our family room on the way to dinner. We were greeted by Muhammad Alim in such a friendly manner. He took us to the recliners and let us look. We quickly picked one out to buy, but I had an impulse for a new kitchen table. He listened to what my needs were and what I wanted and showed us things that met the criteria, but things we didn't think of. We ended up buying a new table and 4 chairs in addition to the recliner. We have been looking for a chair for 6 months, and I can't believe on the first trip to Ashley Furniture we found 2 important pieces for our home. The main reason I made this purchase today is because of the service provided my Muhammad. He listened to what we were looking for, didn't push us into anything we were not looking for and let us have space and time to brouse and discuss privately. It is just as important to me that I feel comfortable with the sales person and company as the items I am purchasing. I felt like I could trust Muhammad and that he wanted us to get what we needed and wanted for our home, really explained the warranty we purchased and gained our trust in that product. We will be back soon for our next big purchase, and I will recommend Muhammad and Ashley Furniture in Madison Heights to my family and friends. Customer service like this is really a lost art, and I feel like the entire store, from the manager we talked to thru the entire team provided a great impression. This is a unique environment and the entire team should be recognized for the wonderful experience my family and I had tonight.

Amazing sales agent, but very pathetic delivery process. Received expensive white reclining sofa with dirt marks and blotches due to way it was handled by their delivery folks. They said they placed a service call, but no one turned up for 72 hours, so I called and was told they have no service request on record. They I have exhausted my option of return, because they have to return policy. I was not aware that I have right to “ return the product at the time of delivery” , I was told only when I call. I would have expected sales person to tell me that when they sold me. I would have been more vigilant. We were excited but are now disappointed. I don’t think I would buy anything more from Ashley #Ashley@ Madison heights update 09/22/23 Received no response and no one called for scheduling the service, finally I resorted to go to the store on 9/21 and drove almost an hour. Front desk said Sharon (Store Manager) is not in store and they promised that she will call us by noon tomorrow and we don't have to come in. Evan was a nice gentleman who looked at the photos we showed and agreed that these need to be replaced and was very sure that Sharon would be able to help. However it's 5:00pm and I am still waiting for Sharon to call. I even called up to the store they have taken my number and said she will call back. Meanwhile Evan suggested to use the text option with the customer service and told that they respond faster, but even there they are now going by process to complete the service call. For reason no one knows they have service call logged for 6th October in their system? Reason no one knows ! The customer service is totally mess. I am demanding the replacement of the set now, because I firmly believe that they have frauded me and given me the store display piece which explains the dirt and blotches and they have charged me the full price of a new sofa and I suspect that this is the reason why store manager is not ready to even talk on the phone.

Received a damaged sofa, waited over a month for a technician for fix the issue. The technician appointment was cancelled and we were only notified on the morning the appointment. Now we were told we have to wait another month for another appointment. We will never buy from Ashley again. Bad customer service.

We stopped in just to browse mattresses, with little to no knowledge on the types of mattresses available and the health benefits associated with a quality night of sleep. We couldn’t have had a better teacher than Omari with his vast knowledge of mattresses and the ability to convey these benefits in an easily understandable way. We are so happy with our purchase and grateful that Omari was there to walk us through the entire process.

My initial experience was great with my sales person. Then came time for the delivery. They have made 3 attempts to deliver a bunker bed, and each time they have brought the wrong item. Ive called and asked for a manager to call me. I have not received a call yet. Beware using the madison heights location as I paid $150 for white glove delivery and have not received it.

It was an overall ok experience. We came in to look at couches and a mattress. My issue was that there was a lot of pressure to ask for a credit limit increase on her synchrony card, and for me to apply for one or to apply for one of those rent to own scams. We were having a good experience up until then.

I went to the Madison Heights store today. I could clearly see that the employees were in a meeting. No one acknowledged me. As I strolled through the store, I kept looking in the direction of the employees. By the time I walked through the entire store, touching and sitting on the furniture with no acknowledgement, I was over it and headed to the door. By the time I got to my car, a man came out to tell me they were in a meeting and asked if he could help me. OF COURSE NOT was my response! I told him what should have happened was me being acknowledged and being told someone would be with me. They CLEARLY did not want my business. So what did I do? I went to Gardner White and spent $3000!

I bought a sofa bed in January 2023 and paid extra for delivery and to have the sofa setup. They did such a poor job in screwing the screws in that they fell out months later. The sofa bed has been used only a few times. I called the warranty office and they are a mess. They still haven't sent in my parts or sent out a tech. I would never shop here again.

I absolutely loved that as soon as I walked in I was greeted by an employee named Omari. He allowed us to look around without the pressure of being forced to buy something I did not like. I found a beautiful dining set that met the aesthetic for my home. Omari sat us down to get things rolling with financing and even went above and beyond by assisting us with delivery through a third party. Thank you so much! We love our dining set and look forward to returning in the near future.

I bought a very nice twin mattress. The sale person was a very nice guy he gave me 3 choices of mattress. Then he said I could pickup at there wear house but forgot to tell me 24 hours. So had to go back the next day to pick it up still my mattress was on hold.she out the hold lifted . Had my first good night sleep I a year.

Omari was fabulous. Very patient, listened well and found a perfect bedroom set for my daughter. I would highly recommend him. If your looking for furniture ask for omari.

Our sales associate was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. It was a pleasure shopping knowing we were in good hands. The only reason for not selecting 5 stars was on the delivery side. We did not accept our end tables because they were damaged. The sectional was missing the left side meaning the truck was loaded with two right sided sectionals. The crew that delivered our furniture did go back and loaded the missing components. Within an hour or so the issue was rectified. All together this was a much better experience than we had shopping with Gardner White and Value Furniture.

My wife and I recently purchased a sectional from the the Ashley store in Madison Heights. After going through some rather poor experiences with Gardner White and Value City it was a pleasant change. We were greeted and worked with Eric Wise to decide on the sectional we wanted. He was very easy going and informative without being remotely pushy or condescending.

I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted or what would be best for me. I’ve gotten the pleasure to meet Mark who helped me from beginning to end! Amazing how much he explained everything to me so that I didn’t have any concerns or questions left. He has an absolute great personality and he knows his stuff!! Ashley’s is a great place, the atmosphere is nice and clean. If you need help, ask for Mark and you won’t be disappointed!! :)

We needed a small sectional and has shopped everywhere with zero luck. I stopped in here earlier in the week and found a couple that would fit, but I was not very excited about the choices (nobody helped me until I asked for a tape measure) upon returning with my husband, Erik greeted us immediately and was very friendly. He could tell I was not all that happy with my choices so he offers an excellent suggestion! We are very excited to get our new sectional delivered next week!

I only write reviews if it was a great experience or a horrible one. Sorry this will be the horrible. They messed up. My order told me I had to keep it. It was nothing they could do. Then they say they would do a refund, they picked the furniture up and never sent the refund. It’s been more than a month. never contacted me to let me know what was going on. This store in Madison Heights do not care about customers they care about your money. Please choose somewhere else to go. I would hate for you to experience what I experienced and I was extremely patient kind and understanding. But they just don’t care. Sorry I had to write this review.

Horrible experience. Late multiple times for delivery. Horrible customer service representatives that barely speak English. My "new furniture" was delivered damaged. It took Ashley over a month to fix it. So I had damaged "new furniture " for the first month. And the customer service representatives were awful.

Have to agree with other review about fraudulent business practices. Bought a couch on 6/10 and was told we would hear about expected delivery within a few days and the item would be delivered within 2-3 weeks. Still have not heard anything and have called the store multiple times and left multiple voicemails with no call back. The salesperson we worked with said she has now left the company. Everyone at the main Ashley number says they are unable to help with online sales. I have been charged in full for the item and cannot reach anybody regarding delivery.

Fascinated, I loved my furniture. Excellent service and attention from most, manager Sharon is really attentive. Happy with the purchase, only the delivery service is a little late, however, it was worth it. I highly recommend buying from this store. Update 070723 Some defects received with the sofa chair, the book case, and still waiting to receive the reply for the bedroom received without drawers and my money for the cancellation requested for the lamps never received. Sharon continue giving a great response. Waiting to receive the correct service and my money to return the 5 stars

If I could give zero stars I would, first of all I ordered a dining table with chairs, a bedframe and 2 nightstands, to start it off I had to wait a full year before any of it arrived, second when it was all finally delivered I got a call saying if any of it wasn't to my satisfaction i can turn it down at the door and itl be refunded, well the nightstands did not fit in my room so I turned them back and I was not refunded, to make things awesome, everytime I called their customer service hot line the operator was in Mexico which would normally be fine, but they would have the worst signal ever and could barely hear me and I could barely hear them, after struggling with the communication they "opened a ticket" with my name and that is the last I ever heard from them, and my table came with scratches that they said multiple times they would send a technician to fix, never came, beautiful pieces of furniture but the absolute worst customer service, avoid like the plague.

Erik was a great salesman. Store manager, Sharon, was great too! I went in looking for a couple living room chair tables and ended up buying a brand new Tempur-pedic bed system. Hubs and I are super excited to finally get a new bed after 20 years. I did get a great deal on one end table. My only regret is that I wish there were two of the end tables, because it is the perfect fit in my living room!

I was looking for a specific coffee table that was on backorder online, called the store and Mark was able to get it to us with same day pick up. The process was super easy and Mark was a great communicator throughout the whole thing! Highly recommend!

We went in today shopping for a mattress and frame, Mark Shaya greeted us promptly upon arrival - he was incredibly nice and super friendly without being pushy! He walked us through the mattress buying process, showing us a bunch of amazing options; helping us ultimately decide on a mattress that was best for us and our sleeping positions. Mark also showed us a couple of high quality pillows that I am sooo excited to try tonight! Worst furniture store in Michigan. We were told different information from two different people. Our sales guy said he was going to check with his manager on pricing while we walked around the store for 30-40 minutes finally asking where he was. The "manager" said he wasn't feeling well and was in the bathroom. When another sales person quoted us $1900 for three pictures and a rug I said forget it. We were told the pictures were a set and they quoted us a price for each making them over $700. We left and saw our sales guy sitting in a Mercedes in the parking lot smoking pot. So much for talking to the manager to get us better pricing. This store is garbage, it should be closed.

A bit pricy, but I love the furniture I bought. The sales person and manager were both very helpful and professional. They were also very patient with my tired toddler that kept throwing a fit.

Originally I wrote a great review because our “good service” was sugar coated to make a sale. We paid and bought a table that we needed same day but unfortunately we could only pick it up next day just to rent a truck get to the warehouse that we had a SCHEDULED TIME FOR to find out the warehouse is closed for the next 2 days and we have no way of picking it up. After calling to ask the sales person Mark what the confusion was he proceeded to tell me and QUOTE “it’s not like it was a million dollar order” and “the table was worth the wait” as if my husband and I don’t have full time jobs to go any day to pick up a table form a warehouse that is only open until 4pm. Nice to know to know you’re only valued as a customer if you spend a million dollars at Ashley furniture first and LASTTT purchase here.

This is my first time buying furniture at Ashley. Kaye helped me out. He answered all of my questions and was very patient with me while I browsed all the furniture. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. He did a great job explaining the financing options. I’ll definitely be back to buy more furniture from Ashley!

We had such a wonderful experience at Ashley. Sean was so knowledgeable, and really took the time to make sure we got some great stuff. He got us financing when we didn't think we would get approved. It allowed us to get everything we needed for a reasonable monthly payment and 0% interest. I will be back to upgrade my mattress. Can't thank you guys enough!

Outstanding customer service at the store but once Ashley has your money, that all goes down the toilet. My salesman was Mark. He was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient and; as it turns out, will say anything to make a sale. The chair and ottoman that I bought as a gift a whole month early, the one that Mark assured me could be delivered in time for the event, will now takes yet another month to even ship. That's a total of a two-month wait. For a chair and an ottoman. My surprise "gift" is ruined. It is the height of stupidity to expect a cash customer to wait two months for anything. I will not be back.

My salesman Erik was great! I definitely saved money today & received exactly what I wanted to make my new house a HOME!!! I didn’t expect to pick my new bedroom set from Ashley Homestore but after visiting 3 other furniture stores THE QUALITY & PRICE could not be beat. Upon the delivery of my items I noticed that all 3 peices were damaged. These damages were pointed out to the delivery team but they refused to take them back. I immediately called the store to make them aware of the situation and immediately started to getting the run around. Its been a week and all I've been offered is a repair date which is a month from now. I don't want my NEW furniture repaired I want to return them at this point. This has been a terrible experience and I would not suggest anyone do business with Ashley furniture .

I was looking to purchase a bed and was introduced to Javonte Thompson who took Excellent care of me and I am very pleased with the service and the product I've not received yet but I feel comfortable with my transaction.

I purchased a chest dresser in November 2021 in may 2022 I called n places a repair request nobody came or contact me in 3 days like they said I had place another 3 request for them to come out here 9 months later which was feb 10th 2023 the guy said the dresser is not fixable I have a warranty on my dresser they told me I am still under manufacturer warranty with the store to call Ashley where I purchase it from dsg repair and Ashley is really giving me the run around at this point I want to know what did u guys offer a warranty for if I couldn’t use it and it’s just away for yall to get more money out of people like myself I would never purchase a warranty ever again this is too much

I am very disappointed in my recent purchase with ashley’s furniture. I have went to the store and a bought a set of new furniture and they said it will be delivered in a week. a week passed by and it was delivered to my house with one of the love seats that was completely broken and the the delivery guys tried to avoid it so i cant see it but iy caught my attention right after i they left and i called them back immediately and they said someone will come and pick it up and drop you a new one in two days. its been a week and nobody have came and i have been calling every day to get to someone who can help and no one wants to get me to a supervisor to take care of my problem and they are telling again and agin they will send a guy to take a look at it.

Great experience with the sales staff! Very accommodating and not any high pressure sales staff. The young man that assisted us was great. He offered options but didn’t try to pressure us into buying. Will definitely recommend Ashley Home to my friends and family based on the experience yesterday. Out of all the mishaps I have had with Ashley furniture I’m ready to file a lawsuit. There is absolutely no way that the warehouse is this bad! I had 3 separate orders and between missing and damaged items I am completely over this company. I’ve had a bed that is not set up in my home since January 4th and here it is now February 5th and still not together. Why? Because the first delivery said they couldn’t do it with the head and foot board. Head and foot board arrive in another delivery…SURPRISE!! The footboard is wrong. Footboard comes in a 3rd delivery SURPRISINGLY BUT NOT REALLY THIS ONE IS DAMAGED. It has been so many other issues like a broken sofa that I couldn’t even fit on this review. I have a email ready to go for whenever I find a corporate email (which a store associate told me they don’t have due to being a franchise) don’t worry I’ll find someone because this is down right sad and incompetent on Ashley Furniture part! Buyer Beware! Things may be wonderful at the store but trust me, when it comes to delivering your pieces….that’s where the chaos comes! I regret every part of it!

If I could give no stars I would. Whatever you do, do NOT shop here or any other of their stores! Our kitchen table came damaged and after waiting a month they tell me they no longer have a replacement. And they gave us only thirty percent back of a 1,500.00 table set! It was not our fault. Please, go anywhere else, BUT NOT ASHLEY! A*+HOLES!

In store experience was great. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I have not received the furniture just yet, so I can't speak for delivery services.

I purchased my sectional yesterday and what really sold me was the employee Kaye, he's new but he made me feel really comfortable asking questions and applying for the couch. Also the manager was really great too she was flexible and helped me a lot. Without the help I received I would have definitely not made the purchase without them. Update 3/7/23 Originally, I was told by the team that they saw my product in the warehouse, and it should come early than what I expected, and it has not. I called and the customer service stated that it shows that I have to wait more time than I was even originally told and that there were no accommodations that could be done because it's out of there control. I understand things happen but stating that it's out of control is just not true, you chose that manufacture regardless so it should fall on the company to take some responsibility. It's not like this is a small business, they can afford to show their customers some appreciation without going bankrupt, especially when they are inconveniencing them.

Excellent service from TreDal and Sharon. They were transparent about all of our options and costs and very knowledgeable about the products.

I would never in my life shop at Ashley Home Furniture again. I have run across an issue with every transaction for the past 2 years. When I bought a sofa set last year, it took well over 3 months to deliver. When I bought a mattress and adjustable base, it was constantly put on back order, and the sales agent lied about applying discounts and completely fudged up the order (which nobody at the company would fix) so I canceled it. When the bed frame was delivered, it was damaged in a place that is not visible. When the damage was found a month after delivery, they would not send a technician out to survey or repair the damage. Nor will they accept a return or exchange. You are better off ordering on Wayfair! And in the future that is exactly what I’ll do. Thanks for reading

Purchase a bedroom set in Nov 2022. Delivery was schedule for Dec 17, 2022. When the delivery showed up there were multiple parts scratched, so I returned then. The parts were the headboard legs and the footboard. The second delivery was schedule for Jan 3, the headboard legs didn't come with the delivery. The delivery team made a note that the white glove service couldn't be complete it, due to the headboard legs missing. I received an automated message from Ashely the same day (Jan 3), saying that guess care was going to reach out to me soon. On Jan 4, I reached out to them to order the headboard legs. On Jan 11, footboard legs were delivery. So I went back to the store where I purchase the set. At the store I was told that they couldn't help me, that my only course of action was to call their costumer care line. On Friday Jan 13, I called their costumer service line. The person that I spoke to, said that he was having issues w/ his computer but that he was going to take care of my request and called me back to confirmed. Never heard back. On Sat Jan 14, I called again and was told that there was not ticket regarding headboard legs issue and that nothing was in the system. That they would have to start a new ticket. I asked if there was a way for me to get a name or a call back number to the same person, so that I can track my issue w/ a single representative, and they told me that was not possible. I asked to speak to a supervisor at this point, and my phone called got disconnected. I called back again after the called was disconnected and asked to speak to a supervisor again, after repeating this whole issue the the new representative, she said she was going to transfer me and the called got disconnected one more time. Now is Jan 17, almost 2 months after the purchase and still don't have a functioning bed, since it can't be put together without the missing headboard legs, or a way to resolve the issues. Can't stress enough how bad their service is.

I called the store ahead of time but couldn't get through. I decided to make the 20 minute trip anyway. Was very disappointed to find that the coffee table I wanted was not in that store. But Sandra did show me other tables. I finally decided to go ahead and order the table I originally wanted after they agreed to price match. Great experience!

Worst. Company. Ever.

BUYERS BEWARE of Ashley furniture home stores/Dufresne spencer group. Unethical fraudulent business practices. Breach of contract. 3 delivery attempts of bedroom furniture that’s delivered damaged. The 4th delivery attempt was scheduled then they canceled just before delivery by leaving a message that the items aren’t in. I finally reached someone who didn’t hang up, they said there was no order. “It’s now a service call and a technician will be in contact” But it’s already been 24 days since the 3rd delivery of poor quality broken and defective furniture with no service tech reaching out. It’s been 9 1/2 weeks of headache from them, I don't have what I paid for and they were paid in full! I did not pay GOOD MONEY to have furniture delivered damaged and defective just to have a service tech try to fix it. They refuse to reorder, ignored my calls and emails. Their website says you have 72 hours to report any damage of the item and “they will work with you on replacement or refund” They don’t abide by that and that’s fraudulent business practices. Lying about where the furniture is made and what it’s made of. My salesperson Javonte told me it’s assembled in America by materials from overseas. The box it came in says made in Vietnam

Shopping at Ashley Furniture was hands down the worst shopping experience we've ever had. I applied for a credit card and was advised that my credit would only be ran once, but it ended up being ran 3 separate times. Our furniture delivery date also got moved several times before we cancelled our order completely and we were blamed for never scheduling a time for delivery, even though I had multiple texts and emails documenting that we had verified a time. The first day the delivery was supposed to take place, we had taken the day off to be available, but the delivery service never showed and they stated that we were not home once they came to deliver, but described the delivery address as a white house when we live in a brown apartment. We went through two and a half months of stress trying to schedule deliveries and cancel our order and we will never be buying furniture from Ashley again - especially at this location.

Overly priced furniture. Sales people wearing scrubs?

Horrible Company. Ordered bedroom set in store(bed, two nightstands, dresser) stands and dresser delivered with no issue. Bed is delivered but the headboard is damaged according to deliver team. They advised I refuse delivery and they would have another headboard delivered in a few hours. Few hours pass and get no notification from the company,so I reach out to the store. The store associate says they cannot assist with deliveries and to contact customer service. Call customer service, they explain that same day delivery is not possible. I ask why I was told this by the delivery team if it’s not possible, they cannot give an explanation. So now I have a bedroom with half a bed set and nowhere to put the mattress or old bed back together. I spent 4 hours on the phone with the support to get a resolution. They initially offered a $50 gift card for the trouble. I declined and asked for just the headboard to be delivered today so I could have a place to sleep. After continually asking to speak to someone other than the rep I get a supervisor. I ask for the samething, headboard delivered same day as stated by the delivery team. He cannot do that and the best would be next week. I ask to return all the furniture because of this, this was not an option per him. He offers to refund me 10% entire order. I agree, I explain that would be around ~$500. He then backtracks and says not the entire order just the bed. I asked to have the nightstands price matched since what I payed in store was more than online, $140 difference per stand. So now I should be refunded $280+154=$434, he confirms the amount. Headboard is delivered a week later. Delivery team puts the bed together and says there is an issue, pieces from the first delivery were incorrect. They do however leave it in a usable state so I have a place to sleep. I look at the assembled bed and see they put it together incorrectly. I reassemble the bed and it looks as it should and fits the box spring and mattress. I call customer service back a week later to get a status on my refund. The first rep is spoke to sees the price match and 10% but wanted the supervisor to confirm. I was told I’d get a call back later that day. No call back. Call again get a different rep, they see that the ticket hasn’t been resolved and to follow up in a few days. Call back two days later and now get told they cannot price match the night stands and I’ll only get the $154. I ask how it was shown before for the two other reps and why I wouldn’t get that and now. I ask to speak to the original supervisor who agreed to this. I get transferred to a manager he explains they don’t pricematch furniture bought from a store with that online., especially after it has been delivered. Still haven’t seen any refund to the account, I was told it could take a few billing cycles to appear. The company and customer service have lied and backtracked on promises made multiple times to me. Will not do any further business with them and will post my experience to any place where they are associated for others to see.

It was my mistake to deal with them ,more than 3 months ,still bedding the ground waiting “the new bed from ASHLEY”

I would never go here again. I had to schedule delivery 4 times. The first time I needed to change. The second time they said they had no record of the delivery set up. The third time I received a voicemail the day before delivery that one of my couches was not going to be ready to deliver. This was after we had removed our couches as we were told we had to do and are expecting guests for Christmas. Now I’m told it will be the first week in January before we can get the couch. Customer service is terrible. Either no answer or get hung up on when put on hold. Takes 3 to 4 calls each time to get someone and then they can’t give an answer.

No recommend at all. I bought a mattress and the Delivery is horrible.

I ordered a table and it was going to come in December. They’ve brought this item back 5 TIMES DAMAGED. Customer service just doesn’t care at all and they said we can get a “$600 refund back”? We spent so much money on an item that you want us to keep a damaged dinning table? That’s wasting my own money and time. Today, they brought it back with the base having a huge hole in it and I am not satisfied with any of the customer service or management they provide at their store. In my suggestion don’t come here and shop somewhere else for better service, pricing, and quality of course.

Went to the store and it was a horrible experience. First, it took a half an hour for anyone to ask me if I needed help. Then, the managers are extremely rude and don’t expect customers to know anything. Wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone.

Boring furniture

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Terrible experience. First, our in store sales rep quoted different prices and once we ran our credit and was approved and was set on the couch we wanted the price jumped up due to a “Sku” issue. Next the first sofa came about a month after our store visit and we had to wait two months for the second sofa, this is after being told the whole order would only take a few weeks to be delivered. The second sofa came damaged, loose arm. The final straw that made me write this review is that after we received everything and just said forget what we experienced to get it, we now have a billing issue that we are getting the run around to fix. Our credit bill shows the charge for the couches plus an additional pending charge for the same couches! Our credit balance is reflecting way more than what we owe and is being reported that way to the credit bureaus! We have called customer service, called the finance company, and called the store only to get the run around! Save yourself the headache! Go somewhere else to purchase your furniture! It is a nightmare!

This has been the worst customer service that I ever experienced ---we came into the store Tuesday before Thanksgiving was told the furniture was in shock and we can pick up the next day ..someone called the next day by the name of Jasmine Onealand gave us the wrong location . The next day we are closed due to Thanksgiving ! And no address is on the invoice. TERRIBLE SERVICE . SPEND YOUT MONEYTHAT IS HARD EARNED ELSEWHERE

I have a beige coach and a beige home, I asked and picked out a beige recliner. I told Monica our sales lady all of this, she still gave me a recliner I didn’t pick. It is GREY who is mixing Beige coach and home with Grey. The manager was unhelpful and needed to watch the store camera to see what recliner my husband sat in when Monica got him to sign the contract, he is disrespectful and disregarding the fact that this was not just an error it was a lack of care on his sales person side. I will contact the credit card company and refuse to pay. I need my house to match not Ashely Furniture employees to bully us.

Asked if they had dinning room set in stock was told yes.. Was told it would be delivered in two weeks... Got rid of old set to find out it wasn't in stock. Would be two to four more weeks... Thanksgiving next week no table to eat on...

I am still waiting on an order I placed with this store 8 months ago. At purchase (April 2022) they said they “estimate delivery in 4-6 weeks”. If you shop here, don’t expect your furniture anytime soon!!! Update: On 11/18, here is Ashley’s estimate for delivery: Thank you for your patience. I do see an estimated date the week of 11/30 for order 076xxxxx and 12/2 for order 076xxxx. Here is the estimate on 11/21: I do see an estimated date the week of 12/02 for order 076xxxx and 12/01 for order 076xxxx. Once your items arrive at the warehouse, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery date. Here it is today 11/26: Thank you for your patience. I do see an estimated date the week of (12/20/22) . Once your items arrive at the warehouse, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery/pickup date. That’s about the 15th time the goalpost has moved over the last 8 months of waiting.

I purchased a couch from Ashley's 11/4/2022. I was mislead by the display and the customers sales rep regarding the size of the couch. I have called the customer service number numerous times and was hung up on almost every time. When I called my original sales rep Omari he blamed me for the issue while huffing and puffing duringour call. I paid $3500 for a smaller couch with a $600 warranty added. I have asked them to remove the warranty so I can purchase the missing piece (although I was mislead). I do not want this couch nor any couch from Ashley's but I am not able to get a refund only an exchange. I am highly upset and frustrated regarding this situation. It is not fair!!

I’m never buying from Ashley’s again. They are unorganized unprofessional and literally I had to go through hell in order to get my furniture. And then when I did get it I had to go through hell again to get rails to put my dresser and mirror together. Ashley’s is not reliable at all. In this time and age how can someone spend $10k at a furniture store only to have to deal with rude customer service reps just to get my items and then have it put together. Worst experience ever. I’m 25 years old and for as long as I’m alive I will literally stop any and all my relatives and friends from shopping here. This brand is completely ruined for me and it’s devastating that there’s nothing I can do about it other than this Google review.

Bought a couch In person told they had them in stock. Scheduled first delivery. Was cancelled without me knowing and rescheduled again. When I called to ask why they said someone else had same furniture for sooner delivery now I am waiting on one in back order. 8 weeks and I have half a couch. Delivery of other half set for today. They took it back to the warehouse. Guy stated they were from Chicago to deliver for Detroit as they don’t have enough staff (shocking!). I call and they tell me another two weeks for delivery. Customer service is terrible. Will never buy from them again. Gardner white was able to do same day delivery for in stock item that was purchased before 3 pm. That’s where the service is for paying thousands of dollars in furniture.

SALES DEPARTMENT JUST LIES TO YOU AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WONT EVEN LISTEN TO YOUR PROBLEM THEY KEEP HANGING UP ON YOU WHEN YOU CALL THEM. It took them 5 months to deliver all my furniture and when deliver people came in dropped it off and left but the furniture had issues so I called them and they kept on hanging up so I decided to tell the next person who answered to take the furniture back and give me full refund he refused to do so because I took delivery of the stuff and I had called them right after the delivery people left. I WOULD ADVISE DONT BUY YOUR FURNITURE FROM HERE THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. ITS NOT WORTH GIVING THEM THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS THAT YOU WORKED HARD FOR.

I purchased a clearance item and it took the associates longer than it should have to find all of the parts. Now that it's home, I'm hoping it's all there since they didn't do a check for all of the parts. The checkout process took 3 times longer than the time it took for the associates to find the parts and 10x longer than it took for me to pick out my furniture.

Much better. This company has done a 180. The problem they had last year was a lack of warehousing with local inventory. They fixed it. Now delivery is more smoother and quality is up. Sean helped us today

I enjoyed my no pressure shopping experience today. Nila helped me find exactly what I wanted. She was patient and helped me work out a few options that fit my budget. I never felt rushed or pushed to get something I did not want.

If I could give this store a half star I would. Order this table. Loved it but since I've had it I've had nothing but problems. First, the two persons who assembled it assembled it incorrectly and it was missing 2 screws. I called the service department and after getting the run around they are mailing me two screws. That was 6 days ago. No screws yet. Now, while waiting for said screws that hold the top in place, it fell backwards on itself and broke at the bottom. So, basically it was missing screws, assembled incorrectly it broke at the bottom. I cant wait to talk to someone at the the store. Im guessing ill get the run around again. You'd would be better off shopping at another store. I would like to thank Ashley's for making this right. Today they delivered us a new table. Assembled correctly by two crew members that took their time to make sure is was right. Thank you to the crew and Ashley's furniture store.

This store was very horrible. Muhammad, who was our salesman, told us we had our 10 year warranty for our adjustable base, was never added to our receipt. I am very disappointed in our experience. I will never be purchasing from them again. Also, customer service and the management was no help at the store as well. The location is 32766 John R Rd. Madison Heights, MI 48071. When I called customer service to get a corporate office phone number, all they gave me was a number to a different store. This was ridiculous. I also have dealing with customer service to get this resolved and it still hasn't been resolved. WOW!!!!!!

Don’t waste your time. If you receive damaged furniture and refuse it you’ll be waiting months for replacements. I will never purchase anything from another Ashley store again. Customer service is a joke and the people in the store try to push for you to keep broken/damaged furniture for a discount.! Save yourself the headache and just go with a local furniture store. Worse mistake I’ve ever made.! My husband and I have been dealing with getting replacements for almost 3 months now. They make it seem like it’s your fault that the furniture comes damaged and the corporate number that is given only deals with online orders.! Purchased in May and here it is October and still no update as to when we’ll receive furniture that isn’t damaged.!

Attentive, not pushy, and loved the selection. I’d give it a five, but when I questioned the Protective plan I wasn’t given the accurate information. Details. And we shouldn’t have to ask twice.

I bought a couch here in July. They said it would take 2-16 weeks to get in. Once it started to get closer to the 16 week mark I decided to call to check on my order. They told me that I already picked up my couch. Which I clearly did not. I called the store twice to figure it out the manager Lydia was incredibly rude and lacked any problem solving skills! Finally I was able to make it in to the store where they told me that I was out of luck that the sofa was discontinued. They then tried to give me store credit. It took a while but they finally agreed to give me a full refund.

AWFUL COSTUMER SERVICE!!!! I received a text that my order will be arriving on September 1st. They never showed with the delivery, when I called they said it will be delivered on September 10th, not the 1st. They never arrived with the delivery on September 10th. I had to call them again and they said it would arrive on September 24th, they never showed or called on the 24th. I cancelled my order and will never shop here again!

We purchased a couch and loveseat that was confirmed to be in stock and had a definite delivery date as was a condition for the purchase. After multiple delays and nearly seven weeks of waiting, still no furniture. Yet there were no shortages of excuses. Ashley offered percentages off for the inconvenience yet still no furniture. After multiple phone calls and excuses,(you guessed it!) still no furniture. Went to Gardner White, found what we were looking for and had it delivered the next day. This isn't the first time we had a problem with Ashley Furniture but it WILL be the last!

Terrible service from one line customer service ....

We purchased a bedroom set the quality was very very poor built. Couldn't return the furniture basically we flushed $1500 in the toilet.

Update 09/05: We finally complained to BBB and got a call from Ashley. The agent said they saw the complaint but didnt take the effort to read the case and asked us to go through all of it again, as has been the case in the past. The agent said that they are looking into it and will get it delivered to us mid september. However, we dont believe on these dates anymore and will update if we receive our piece. Incomplete order and false promises for past 8 months: We ordered a dining table with 5 chairs and one bench in December of 2021 for over $2k and were told the lead time is 12-16 weeks. We received the dining table and 5 chairs in March 2022 but did not receive the bench. We went to the store and spoke with the manager, who acknowledged the error while placing the order and setup a new order for the bench. The promised delivery date was June 2022. Since then we have made multiple visits to the store, called the customer care and every time we get a new delivery date. During our visit to the store in the month of July the store manager promised to give us $100 credit for the inconvenience, which we late found out was also a false promise. Since then we are trying to reach out to the store manager and have asked for call back 10 times but no response whatsoever. We have lost hope and are considering making a claim in small claims court. The store staff has blatantly lied to us during every visit. Please i request anyone planning to buy furniture to stay away from Ashley Furniture. I also realized that there are many others, who are in similar situation as us. I request you all read the reviews before you plan to buy from them. I wish no one has to go through such a terrible experience and harassment.

I worked with Scott at Ashley on 7/4/22. I was so excited for a new bed and mattress. Paid almost 2K for everything. I wanted to splurge! It turned into a nightmare. 6 rescheduled deliveries - which was understandable given that some parts were on back order. I ordered the “white glove” service with delivery and assembly since I live alone and have no clue how to put a bed together. On 8/18/22, my bed was finally arriving! I got rid of my old bed literally 3 days prior when I confirmed my delivery and took the day off.. I waited all day for my delivery (12:15-3:15 arrival times) and when the poor guys arrived, hardware was missing (screws and brackets didn’t come with the package) so they couldn’t help me. Hardware was ordered. Now it’ll take 7-14 business days to receive shipment and I have to call back to reschedule assembly. I have nothing to sleep on. And, I start a new job next week. Talk about horrible!! I just hope that I can get some time of compensation. I called customer service and they requested that I call the store so I called Scott who sold me the items. He said he’d get back to me but who knows! All I know is that this experience has been so horrible and I have nowhere to sleep….

they have no good customer service .. i keep calling the store and no one come to the phone .. i need to make a payment and they gave me a credit card number to call .. i called that number and no one comes to the phone either .. very bad service

I disliked the management and employees so much I didn’t go back and buy a bedroom set I actually liked at this location. As soon as I walked in before I even looked , I was handed a financing paper and given a sales pitch about it , even though I didn’t need or want it. I understand some may, but it made me feel hounded as soon as I walked in. Then I was told about their manager who is a room stylist (or whatever is called) would be sent over to me by the sales department . It was the most awkward approach by her and the whole experience that I didn’t even get the bedroom set my kid was interested in. Their sales style is almost stalker-ish. It’s annoying

Please be aware before purchasing at Ashley Furniture Madison Heights that you will have a horrific experience after the sale. Read the reviews before purchasing, sort all Google reviews by date as my experience is one of many similar and you will note that the positive reviews are only based on purchasing, not that their items have arrived. September 23rd Update: we called in to warehouse as no follow-up from store or sales manager. The crazy is when I went in and met with her, she gave me her cell phone to text as follow-up as she was incredibly nice, but has ghosted me ever since. We were just told that two of our items are discontinued so have no idea how they are going to hand that, about $700 in furniture that can't be delivered. Our other items should arrive October/November but we have only 1 delivery available now as part of VIP so we have to wait for all items to arrive...ugh! September 15th Update: after hours of time on phone and chat, and then in-person visit at store with zero follow-up for manager, we did receive one of our 9 missing pieces we ordered on November 9, 2022. August 3rd update, still missing furniture but have promised August 30th delivery which we hope is true. If we get delivery we will definitely updated our rating as the furniture that we have received is great; just delivery time and communication that has been rough. Prior review: First of all, the sales and store experience was pretty awesome as we had a great sales agent who is no longer there but who help us with this order, and another we came back for after based on the great service. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful and I believe we even got to meet the manager which was good. No complaints on that experience and they definitely have a great customer experience as part of the selling process although they shouldn't have told us 12-weeks for delivery. The reason for the1-star is that we purchased the furniture on November 9, 2021 and it is now June 9, 2022 which is frustrating. We purchased a sectional couch and have 1 of the 3 pieces, we purchased a couch living room set and have 2 of the 4 pieces, we purchased a bedroom set and missing bed headboard, rails and footboard, etc, etc, etc. We moved across the country and were furnishing a new house as all of our old furniture was very well used and wouldn't survive the trip. Complaint beyond partial delivery; it is impossible to call the store direct. When you call the number you end up on hold with a call-center somewhere out of country and they don't have any information on what is happening. Since we paid upfront they have no incentive to deliver, and haven't offered us any incentive back for their lack of delivery which is amazing. We have been kind, called occasionally to check in as they don't call, text or email any updates, and we have tried to be considerate understanding supply chain. Our concern is anyone else purchasing similar items must also be 6 months at least, or somehow our furniture keeps getting delivered elsewhere. For the record, this is the first negative review I have ever done as I am a glass half-full personality type and look for rainbows in stormy weather. I wanted potential buyers to beware right as based on our experience with Ashley Home Furniture, they make the sale, take your payment or payments, and then you are on your own with no real communication and when you do inquire, you feel like the bad guy even asking about it. I am already texting per the other reviews when Ashley does reply with the escalation phone number per other reviews, and currently just heard back that furniture will be delivered with estimated date of 9/8/2022. We purchase 11/9/2021 so almost a year? Will update review if or when resolved. The sad part is the 5-Star review right below us that was from 3 weeks ago, with pictures, is the exact sectional set we only have 1 of 3 pieces of and we purchased last November...Beware. Thanks!

The worst furniture shop. Never go there. They don’t keep commitments. For me they were supposed to deliver on 15th July, then said 26th July now they are telling it will be 26th August but still they are not sure. It can change again. 0 star for the shop. Avoid it at any cost. You will regret. This shop and company is a scam. 1st Update: I have planned to update all scenarios here. So they asked me to contact them. I contacted so they let me know it will be 12th of August. Today on 9th August, just texted them to confirm if schedule is ok! Guess what!!! Now it is scheduled for 16th August!!! Such a ridiculous experience. Final update: Finally received the furniture. Luckily they did not change the date again. Speaking with dsghome and the number provided in the reply of review helped. Still my suggestion to the store and the company is Please provide customer with truth and honest information. You have to improve your customer service and supply chain management.

Having issues with delivery called the Madison Hts store. I was so lucky that Lydia from the store answered the phone. What an amazing patient kind woman. She resolved my issues with ease and made my stress disappear. Thank you Lydia. Like I said "you're a BADASS"

An Ashley home store associate ordered me the wrong furniture for door delivery. When I came home and delivery had arrived I realized not only was it not what I had picked up but items are heavily damaged. I came into the store and they processed an exchange. So now I’m free storage with zero compensation for their furniture for 3 to 4 months. They won’t pick up the wrong furniture until delivery of the new furniture. So I’ve been trying to cancel and have my order completely refunded to get this furniture out of my living room. Except the phone lines for Ashley don’t work and apparently my phone number isn’t associated with any orders. Store hasn’t been able to rectify any of these issues yet.

Mark was super helpful and made our shopping experience relaxed and easy.

EDIT - STILL waiting on delivery. They showed up on the delivery date couple weeks ago with 2 out of the 4 pieces which looked ridiculous. I asked them to come back with the full sectional. Today they missed the 3rd delivery date and promised another 2 weeks out. Mark & Muhammed helped us out with a new sectional. Very friendly, price was right and straightforward. Can’t wait to accept delivery in a few weeks.

Ghetto, staff is clueless and management is lousy. You CANNOT pick up mattresses here. MUST be delivered or picked up in Romulus… both sales people have conflicting information and was rude when we tried to get it straightened out. There’s hundreds of alternatives that you can choose from near by with quality service

Monica was the worst saleswoman I have ever dealt with. No knowledge of product or how to sell a customer. I understand the process of selling as that is what I do for a living and maximizing profit to get the biggest commission but i was flat out lied to multiple times. Told me all couches were exclusive to them and quality was better than other stores. told her funny I just left Gardner White and they had all the same stuff and she didn't have response but ohh. Lied and told me couch came with care package to cover stains or damage. Then come to find out its was an added charge of $300 when I asked for a break down of bill. Had to ask her to have manager come over just so she could understand what she was trying to sell me. We agreed on a price and a delivery date. I was a little scared as my delivery date was 4 weeks away but she promised me that it will come buy that date or if not sooner but since we locked down a date and weeks prior was guaranteed delivery by then. Come to find out today my delivery is being pushed back another 3 weeks. Gardner White offers same day delivery or next day. Been calling the store all afternoon asking to speak with a manager. Every time different lie. All Managers are on the phone, All managers are on the floor, All managers are with other customers etc. for hours i cant get in touch with someone. woman on the phone said she was asked to take a message and my message was yes have a manager call me back. Her response was well about what. I told her none of her business this matter is between her and her Manager and she said ok have a nice day and hung up on me. Save yourself the headache and being treated like a second class citizen and go anywhere else.

I will never ever buy furniture from here again. Horrible customer service. J Vion told us it was in stock this was a deal breaker. when the delivery came they asked if we were aware that the head board and foot board were on back order. We were not told when we called they apologized and said that hopefully in a week it would be available. When we talked to JVion he denied telling us it was in stock. Lies ! Customer service and dispatch service don't know their right from their left. They were very rude every time we called because both my husband and I work so we did not want to take another day off work. They assured us a late delivery when the girl called to schedule she was very rude. Got a dispatch call with delivery time of 12-3 called they said they didn't even have our furniture. Wrong. called the store explaining and they assured me that delivery was after 4pm said they had been having a problem with dispatch. Day of delivery get a text delivery 12-3 called the store and Carol who was the most helpful was at least honest and stated delivery was from 12 -3 and they stated after 4 but not guaranteed. Of course resulting in me taking time off work. They also told us we would be refunded delivery charge of 160.00 hasn't happened yet Simon or Monica never turned it over to accounting. The furniture seems to be okay I do like my set hoping the bed is okay !!! Never ever again. My husband and I work in customer service industries and one thing is be honest people will respect you more and even if they don't like what they hear they can make the decision. If you lie to people hoping it works out and doesn't you have very unhappy customers. giving the star because Carol was at least honest.

Delivery guys were through a third-party from Ashley and they were super nice… Pieces of my table were missing and now I was told I have to wait 7 to 10 days to get the shelves holders if NOT available in the warehouse… Oh course someone was supposed to call me back before the end of this business day and that didn’t happen….

Update - it is now august tenth we still don’t have our order and they’re saying 3-5 weeks now. When I texted the number below they gave me they told me it would be in July 24th. Absolutely do not order furniture from here especially if you’re trying to furnish a new home. Ordered furniture january 6th! They said 14 weeks. We agreed we could wait that long. 14 weeks came and passed here it is almost July still no furniture. Call and see when we would be getting it and they say 10-13 more weeks! This is absolutely insane. Almost a year for furniture is uncalled for. How do you go from a 3 month wait to 10 months and god only knows if they’ll extend it farther!

When I first walked in I was not greeted. Walked around for an additional 15-20 minutes still no acknowledgment almost walked out. Last minute I was approached by Jay which turned into a purchase that I was already going to buy when I walked in. Yet ten minutes more of invisibility I would had left

Literally telling my friends to go anywhere wonder. 14 months Ago ordered a couch and two recliners. I got the couch 6 months ago. 2 weeks ago I called to get an update on the recliners and they said the 18th. I called today the 23rd and they said it was canceled on the 16th and now no one is answering their phone. I will never buy from Ashley again

FINAL UPDATE: Everything is finally here after many phone calls, emails, and texts. Delivery of the last piece was taken about a week ago. Everything is very well made and I am generally satisfied with the product. Unfortunately it was not worth all the fuss and difficulty. Will not use this store again. 2nd UPDATE: Continued delays. Will be calling my attorney for legal advice. Filed a complaint with the consumer protection division of the Texas Attorney general’s office. Learned that there have been many complaints against the company for similar reasons. They recommended I file with the FTC consumer protection division as well. Filed the additional info with BBB. Did some research. There are in fact many suits against Ashley for similar complaints. UPDATE: After being guaranteed a delivery date of tomorrow AND a long conversation with the company responder to my original review my shipment has been delayed yet again for two to three weeks. RIDICULOUS! At this point I’m only giving one star because I can’t give no stars. Great sales person. Good store. HORRIBLE product and customer service. Took partial delivery two weeks late. Products were broken or missing. Rejected delivery. So far my shipment has been delayed four times, twice without notice. I can’t reach anyone in the store and my calls keep being sent to a call center in India. Their lines are bad and the calls come through broken. They committed to a portion of the price being refunded and that did not happen. They committed to new dates and that didn’t happen. Now they have unilaterally decided when my furniture is going to be delivered (partially again) and I will be out town. No one has been available to fix the issue. It’s is a shame. Their furniture in the show room is beautiful.

Me and My Husband went to Ashley’s and bought a sofa and loveseat and a dining room set. The sales associate was very nice and helpful. So the day of delivery we had a homecoming service to go to so Mu Sis waited for furniture. My Sis called me four times. First the delivery men would not unwrap the sofa and take pillows off, they simply said it won’t fit, can we leave it on the back porch. I said no!! I know that the sofa would fit because I went to Gardner White and bought a big sectional for the basement and it fit. So I said what about the love seat? They said they don’t have any love seat, So they did not bring my love seat. So then they try to leave without putting the dining set together. I told her put me on speaker and I said you know you are supposed to put our dining set together. They took couch back with them. My Sis took pictures of the sofa still wrapped up. This is our first and last time shopping at Ashley Furniture. They sent the most Lazy and Trifling and Very Unprofessional delivery guys!!!!

Editing from Initial Review: Buyers stay away from this store. Purchased a bed set and not only did it arrive defective & damaged, they refused to take it back with a no refund policy. In store purchases can only be exchanged for the same set or a in store credit for something else within 72 hours. This was after paying for delivery and assembly. Delivery drivers told me that they could not take the set back after asking not once but twice and it was Ashley's problem because they are contracted. Physically went back to this location to discuss everything that happened, ended up asking for an exchange for the exact set of all pieces and still that ended up miscommunication. Called customer service to check on the exchange was told the store told them I was keeping the set and the eta of a week turned into a whole month, after being told in store I would be bumped up in priority because of the inconvenience. Waste of time and money. Never Again. Me and my wife was looking for some furniture that was stylish and comfortable along with durability. We came to the Ashley Furniture store in Madison heights to be able not just to look but be able to sit down and talk with a salesman to analyze the features. Our salesman Evan Olden greeted us for assistance and showed his professionalism in sales. Evan took our concerns in regards to quality and durability into consideration and was able to minimize our concerns to one living room set out of three. My wife was convinced on the set but we had to brain storm the placement in our home before making a final decision. We went back to see Evan the next day and she was convinced on the set in question and she also purchased a table as well. We would like to thank Evan for being knowledgeable and very helpful in decision making so we give him a 5 stars.

I'm opting to leave a review mainly because I cannot speak to anyone over the phone from customer service who is not in India and actually cares/can help me. Today I took delivery of my second Ashley Furniture purchase, a king bed w/ headboard and rails. I paid extra for white glove delivery which included bringing the bed to its final location and assembly, as i knew it would be a difficult trip up the stairs as i live in a bungalow with tight corners. The guys show up. Completely unwilling to even try to take the headboard up the stairs. Basically gave me the option to refuse delivery or forego white glove delivery. I chose the latter as i was sure i could get it up the stairs. I confirmed on the phone with a representative that the delivery guy spoke to that i would be refunded for the white glove delivery (currently no clue if this is true, as customer service couldn't help me confirm after the fact). After they left, i got the headboard up the stairs BY MYSELF within 20 minutes. Yes it took some effort, but that is why i paid $160 for white glove delivery. So if you expect to get a difficult install completed for the fair price, its not going to happen. The guys don't want to take responsibility for the possibility of damaging the goods or your home as they are not direct Ashley employees and will be held responsible (allegedly). This was made very clear to me by these gentlemen. This brings me to my next point. The $1600 bed i bought is made of paper thin ply wood that split in multiple locations and is held together by staples. naturally it is falling apart in non-visible locations as i'm putting it together. Don't care as i'm aware this is not the most expensive furniture out there and it was already up the stairs. Just understand aesthetic is the priority, not structural integrity when it comes to this furniture. Cherry on top, the delivery guy today tried to pick an argument with me by making accusations that i'm upset with them for not wanting to take the bed upstairs. Very unprofessional and passive aggressive (borderline actually aggressive), didn't lift my mood. I'll still give ashley 3 stars because i understand business and the need to make money. but staples? really?? Also get better delivery contractors. Edit: per the owner comment below. i contacted them via email and received no call or reply regarding fixing my situation. Reducing my 3 starts to 2. Customer service still trash.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The furniture was cheap and wood scratches too easily. The fabric on the couch rips easily. The delivery was a complete disaster. Missing parts, and they only assembled half the furniture.

These guys went above and beyond to get us the right sectional for our room! Jeffrey helped us look at lots of different options, explaining all the features and fabrics. We weren't ready to buy at that time but when we went back today he worked it out for us that we still received the promotion they had going on when we looked originally. So cool! He also helped us figure out the best layout and configuration of the pieces and we're so excited to get our new sectional!

Hands down best experience I've ever had at a furniture store! I expected to be attacked at the door by an overly fake salesman. I was instead pleasantly greeted after a making my way into the store. My salesman Jaron was kind, informative, wholesome and had me laughing dang near the whole time! He gave my wife and I space to look around but was always there to answer questions! Employees that say they’re “not pushy” but randomly give you mattress pamphlets. I didn’t mention a mattress at all but was then introduced to a mattress specialist who wanted to discuss sleep and give me a second pamphlet. Felt sales-y and pushy. Also super wasteful because I didn’t even look at them and threw them away. Nice job Ashley furniture! Cheap furniture for astronomical prices. IKEA has nicer furniture. Cheap fake marble dining table for $600 not even including chairs. Was not impressed at all and would not recommend.

I came in after I saved some money for a L shaped desk. The store honored the price I saw last month. Today's price had the desk over $300 more expensive.

Great customer service and a great selection. But the delivery team is terrible. My new furniture that I paid alot of money for came broken and they wanted to send a repair guy but I don't want refurbished furniture when I paid for new. It's been 2 months and I'm still sitting on broken furniture and all I get is excuses and I can't even sit on the couch. I should be compensated for this terrible service.

One of my least favorite things to do is shop for furniture! . I’ve been in sales for 34 years and I’ve never written a review for another Sales person. Scott Robinson helped me with my purchase. Not only is he genuine and knowledgeable, he is also a person who cares. No sales pitch, no embellishment, just facts And an overall great experience. Even though the store is 30 miles away, I will buy all my furniture from him. I now have a furniture person! I would recommend anyone who is hesitant or nervous to take my advice and go see Scott! You will not be disappointed!

In today’s world is hard to find any good inventory of furniture on the market my road took me to Ashley HomeStore. When we pulled into the parking lot my son recognized it as the old Toys/Baby R Us store which brings back great memories for us as a family. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a sincere welcome, (again hard to find). That’s when I meet Jay my sales assistant at Ashley HomeStore in Madison Heights MI, very nice young man that knows how to listen to costumer requests no pressure sales here. Everyone there is very nice (Dave as well), and welcoming as you walk by in search of the perfect item to bring home! Their selections is great, and I am exited to share my experience with my family and friends I can’t wait to shop there again!! Thank you for all that you do as I personally know working in the costumer service industry has become quite a challenge these days:)

Went to the one on John R road with my grandmother yesterday(Thursday) and Scott was very helpful when we were looking at lift chairs and came back today(Friday) and bought two of them and he was just as helpful with everything and made it so much easier!! If you see this, thanks Scott!!!

They have so many nice bedroom sets and although the one I came in for was sold out I still left satisfied with a new bed.

I ordered two black night stands for my bedroom, waited around 3-4 months for this order to be delivered then we picked up at the warehouse out in Novi come home to find out they are the wrong color. They remained in the boxes completely brand new not put together at all. We called the store and they were unable to complete the return/exchange over the phone. I went to the store to exchange and they were on backorder for another 8-12 weeks. We put in the paperwork for the exchange and waited and waited and waited. 6 months later we call the store and were transferred multiple times to finally find out they discontinued the item without even telling us and will not fulfill the exchange. They will not take back the return either since the items have been in my home for over 90 days even though they have been in the box. They stated they are not allowed to do a refund. Then some regional manager I believe his name was Chad from Kentucky tried to help us with this issues of the return/refund. He was able to push them to schedule a pick up/return. We waited almost a month for. Then they had the wrong address and spent over an hour on customer service to get the right address. Since changing the address I never received the call back to schedule another pick up/return. Then I was able to contact Chad again to schedule another one. (Chad was by far the friendliest and most helpful individual in the whole company). Then I had to talk to customer service AGAIN to change the address because they never changed it when I called them prior. Then I get the confirmation saying they would be here between 6-9pm to pick up my return. They show up at 11am....and I wasn't home of course. Then they tell me someone would call within 24 hours to reschedule and now 2 weeks later into the 24 hours nothing. WE GIVE UP AND ARE JUST STUCK WITH THESE DAMN NIGHTSTANDS. IT WILL BE GREAT FIRE WOOD. YOU WIN ASHLEY

Ashley has great furnitures. I was impressed with their kids collection. We ordered a bunk bed and table from them. They delivered everything except the bunk bed's drawer (it's under the bunkbed). They told us they will deliver it once it comes in, which ended up being a month later. When it came, the drawer was broken even the delivery driver said he couldn't give it to us cause that's how broken it was. So we placed another delivery date for it....let's just say after 6 months and several failed deliveries (the drawer came broken two more times) we are still waiting for it. Not only that the rail on the bunkbed had screws that were coming out. The first delivery guys said to talk to Ashley's and they will fix it. A guy came in and said they have to replace two of the rails cause not only the screws were too big for the furniture, the frame was cracked because of it. This is the worst experience I've had with a furniture place. So disappointed.

Do NOT purchase furniture here unless they assure you that you can get it same day and you are purchasing it off the salesfloor. The lack of communication and disorganized supply chain/sales communication needs to be addressed company-wide - I have been told (fake) "ready for scheduling delivery" dates 3 times now, and more than 20 weeks of waiting, they finally admit they have no idea when I'll ever get the item. There needs to be more transparency and clarity when they are holding $5,000+ of your money hostage, essentially.

We had an excellent, easy time buying a new couch at AFH!! I’m not normally one to post reviews, but I wanted to share our positive experience. We’ve been looking for a couch for awhile and didn’t want to buy one online without trying it out first. We were greeted in a friendly, but not overly friendly manner from store personnel. With our own measuring tape in hand, we were able to measure almost every sectional to narrow down what would work for us. Monica was a fantastic store associate who not only weighed options with us, but also checked prices and delivery times to ensure we were getting the best value. All that to say, we found a super comfortable and affordable couch that fits our space and matches our style. Highly recommend Ashley Furniture Home Store if you’re looking for a smooth, quick, & great couch buying experience!

Never trust them with delivery date even the online customer service gonna keep lie about when the order will be delivered because they send half of thr order for you and thr other half for some else to keep you waiting been told thr order will be delivered next month for 4 time since October and now it's will be February. Update now we are on April and they still telling us lies not only the store but the headquarters. Don't deal with them at all. Update After another 5 months they still didn't manage to deliver our order after all promising and talking to both supervisor and manager. This company are full of lies and should be sued

Ordered bedroom set in July 2021. Was told 8-12 weeks. Fast forward to December and I get a call from Ashley's wanting to deliver on Christmas. I asked for a later date. Scheduled December 27th. In the meantime I get rid of old furniture so new furniture has a place to go.. December 27th they dont deliver . don't call ....nothing. So I call and find out maybe it comes in may. Now I have no furniture and Ashley tells me to go rent furniture on my dime or purchase temp furniture. I would not be in this situation if they didn't call to schedule delivery. Worst experience with buying furniture ever. Still in a bad situation that ashley put me in. Oh and they say they will call back in 48h with some resolution and crickets. Update.... so I reached out to the provided number....and see photos.

I had a really great and surprising experience at Ashley. I was fully expecting to find mediocre furniture here and was pleasantly surprised. I was able to find a floor model that was for sale that day. And Ashley employees were really great and helpful. I definitely will be back to Ashley Furniture.

I would not recommend Ashley Furniture. When I purchased a sectional in July 2021, I was given a 12-16 week max timeline, it has been 24 weeks, and I still do not have a scheduled date of delivery. I have had numerous changes in the arrival of my order dating back to October. Last week I scheduled delivery of my order, I was told the whole sectional would be delivered and called yesterday to confirm. Today when they came to deliver, they only brought 1 piece of the sectional. When I called Ashley to inquire, they said the rest of the sectional may be ready for delivery next week. Moreover, in speaking to the customer service reps, they have been unhelpful, and a few of them have been blatantly rude. My overall experience with Ashley Furniture is very poor, and I would not recommend Ashley Furniture to any customer seeking new furniture.

One of my worst experince ever had, to pay around $700 in cash and $1500 in credit only to be told that my purchase isn't available for another 4 months and my refund won't be issued for another 4 weeks, 4 weeks for money I handed to the manager who put it in the drawer and 5 min later said that she can't refund it back for another 4 weeks and in a check.. Every question you ask, you are to be told off, and even the manager they can't help you and they can make up for their mistakes. Really Really bad experience and I would never recommend anyone to deal with such store unless they have some new management in place or change their policy.

TERRIBLE. This is the first review I have ever written, good or bad, for anything, EVER. That is how bad my experience was. Ordered a bed, dresser, and night stand for my son. It was delivered 4 weeks late, and the order was not complete. They delivered the wrong bed. The bed they did deliver was damaged and the dresser was damaged. I sent it back. After removing all of my son's furniture, and then having to put it back. The order was rescheduled for two weeks later. I received a text message confirming delivery a few days before the scheduled date. Removed my son's furniture again. Did not hear from Ashley, so I called and was told it was rescheduled for another week later, and they never even told me. You will wait weeks for the wrong damaged furniture. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Most of the styling of their furniture all looks the same except for different colors and fabrics ,didn't have what I was looking for even though they showed it on their website

Very bad service I don't recommend this store to buy your furniture at all, it's just a waste of time. I've been waiting for my daughter bedroom furniture over 15 weeks and when I told them I would cancel my order they said we scheduled you for delivery, but the delivered half of the order mirror without the dresser,and without HDBD/FTBD. DON'T RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

This store has sent us a entertainment center. Where do I start. The first one the clips were broken the boards across the back were backwards. My shelf was also in the back. We call they send me a shelf a door and another piece which I needed NONE of. Next they send out the bottom piece again not what we needed. Tore my house apart for nothing. Go to the store. No help there. We get a message ur furniture is ready. Husband call yes its the whole thing sir. Not just the one piece. Well guess what. Yup wrong again. Get with it ashley furniture. So here we are end of December we received it early October and still can't enjoy my beautiful new living room piece. As u can see this is what I been looking at for 2 months since we received it.

Originally our experience with this store was not good. Parts of a large sofa we bought did not fit together it was difficult to get the foot rest out, along with other problem. It took some time but today we got new parts with the couch dropped off. Antonio and Jesus took the parts and then put the furniture together for us. They are the inly reason Im leaving a good review. Costumer service at the store can improve

We had a really negative experience with Ashley HomeStore. My husband and I bought a sectional sofa in-store back in October. I received a text message that our order was ready to be delivered about a month and a half later. I tried to schedule the delivery but they told me it had to be within two weeks of when the order arrived and then only gave me four available days to choose from for the furniture to be delivered. We got the day scheduled for the delivery and when they arrived they couldn’t get the couch into our home and proceeded to break our light cover and trim on the doorframe in the process. Now we have to go back to the store and select something new for them to try and deliver as well as fix what they broke around our home. Such a negative experience I would not go through Ashley Homestore in the future and would advise others not to as well.

We didn't end up buying anything (looking for something specific) but the employee who helped us often referred to us as "fam." I don't remember his name but he was very kind, knowledgeable and wasn't following us around the entire time like your typical salesman at a furniture store. We would definitely go back to this store.

Here is a piece of constructive criticism for you guys! I purchased a sofa set and a dinner table with side chairs in mid-August. I was told that the wait time would be 1-2 months. It has been about 3,5 months, but that's not what this review is about. You guys really need to work on providing feedback to your customers with issues such as delivery status. When I call the store, I can't receive any estimated delivery time. Okay, I understand that there could be setbacks in deliveries because of the pandemic. But the least you can do is to provide periodic feedback to your customers. Trust me, we'll appreciate that even if you're unable to deliver. The other issue is; I was called twice with a delivery date. First one was cancelled before the delivery date and I was informed about it, no issues. Second time, delivery was due today. I really wanted to go out shopping on Black Friday, but I wanted the furniture more, so I stayed home. By late afternoon, there was still no delivery. I called the customer support and asked them to tell me if I should still expect the delivery. Only then was I told that my furniture did not arrive at the warehouse in time to be loaded onto the truck, and that they are not even sure if the furniture was delivered to the warehouse yet. When I asked when I should expect it, no specific date was given. Long story short, you need to up your game in terms of logistics, and keeping your customers in the know. The one star review is not about the quality of your products, but rather about the quality of your service!

What a nightmare! **Go ANYWHERE else.** I ordered furniture in August and was told the furniture would be available 2-3 months. I called the store in October multiple times. Often, I would get no answer. Sometimes a representative would answer a phone call and provide an available date for my ordered furniture. It was always a different date. Many of my calls would initially get answered only to be placed on hold for 10 mins and then disconnected. When I finally received furniture, in November I only received parts of my order. I was not informed that I was receiving a partial delivery prior to the delivery. I had to reach out to Ashley to ask about my missing pieces while the delivery men were at my home. Again, the representative was not helpful and said I would have to call back the following Monday to inquire about the missing pieces, because the shipping/warehouse department was unavailable on the weekend. Which seems odd since the delivery was on a weekend 🙄 As we approach December, Ashley’s still has not provided an update on the status of my missing furniture. I have had the partial order for 2 weeks and my power reclining couch is already malfunctioning. I have called 2 times in the last two weeks to ask about the remaining pieces of my furniture and both times I was told the pieces would be available different dates. First it would be available in November. Then January 😏 I’m sure they’ll be out of business soon providing service like this.

TERRIBLE customer service. We purchased a dining room set in September. The sales person said it would be ready in 6 weeks. 8 weeks go by, still no word back. I called to check on the order and the rep said it would be at the warehouse the following day. So we drove 1 hour to go pick it up and they only had the chairs. They said the table would be in a week later. Went back and drove 1 hour again a week later and still nothing. No one at the store will answer my calls. Customer reps on the phone have nothing to say and have not helped at all. Wasted time and gas TWICE to go pick up nothing since no one within this company can tell me accurate information. How unorganized can this company be? This is ridiculous for the amount you’re paying for their furniture. And now they’re saying to call back without any apologies or anything. This has got to be the worst experience I have ever had and will NEVER come back. I understand delays, but giving the runaround to your customers and not being considerate of their time is unacceptable. It’s been over 2 months and no one can tell me when our table will be ready and they still want us to pick it up instead of offering to deliver it to make up for the terrible experience we’ve endured.

ASK FOR CHRIS! I ordered a furniture set, kitchen table and chairs from here and he was VERY helpful and patient with my fiancé and I! He spent a good amount of time with us measuring things and giving his input. He was not a pushy sales person at all, which I really appreciated! He was also extremely nice. This place is a nightmare ordered furniture in January received in February it broke down within a month called multiple times finally a manager let me re pick out new set in may received in in sept. When they took out furniture they were replacing they rubbed it on the truck and it was light colored and got it dirty, brought in new furniture and the love seat was broken so I had no choice but to keep it since they got other furniture dirty and now still waiting on replacement loveseat. They sent a new sofa (mind you waiting on loveseat) but that was broken too now we are still waiting it’s been going on for 9 months now. I would not recommend anyone deal with these people!

Customer service is not good. They give an estimated date for furniture but then it keeps getting extended more and more. Their delivery service isn't good and furniture is often broken. Not a good furniture store.

Decided to go with a couch from here versus Gardner White as they had furniture they said would be delivered end of Nov or mid December. Called, takes forever to get ahold of a person and come to find out will not be in til January. FEEL LIKE THEY TELL YOU INACCURATE STUFF TO GET YOU TO BUY, THEN BUYER'S BEWARE. YOU ARE STUCK.If I knew it was going to take that long, I would have gone through Gardner White. I ordered in October and now have to wait til JAN for a couch. THEY HAVE LOST MY PERMANENT BUSINESS

Purchased furniture early in May, and they have been delayed 4 times. The initial delivery was estimated to be late June. It's been almost 7 months and they have only delivered a table with no chairs, and half a sectional. I have spoken to a rep in person and online numerous times and have gotten a different answer each time. They even billed me for the table and half the sectional, I refuse to give them a penny until I can get some furniture I can actually use. This is by far the worst shopping experience I have ever encountered.. I will be sure to tell all my friends and family to never shop at Ashley's ever again. Absolutely ridiculous..

Walked around the store for 25 minutes, never greeted once. No one offered to help me . Employees on their cellphones. I found a entire bedroom set I wanted, was ready to purchase and could not get help. The manager told the employee to say he was busy and the other was already helping a customer. I move into my house tomorrow, I will find another store that values Everyone's business. And they don't answer the phone, and the one time they did they just picked up and hung back up.

Came in today to shop for a sectional and fell in love with a bedroom set. Erik was so helpful and professional. He went above and beyond to help me find a set that matched my home and personal needs. I can’t wait finalize my purchase and have my new items!

DO NOT DO NOT buy your furniture from this store. Order sofas in may for them in July but got sent the wrong pieces. I went back to to get them replaced and was told the replacement will come in 2 months but I’ve been wait since July and not it’s almost November. I’ve gone there many times and they always tell me the same thing” you’ll have to wait for your stuff”. I’ve asked them for a refund and at least some discount on and they said no to both.

They butter you up and tell you it’s the biggest sale of the year and then tell you your furniture will be delivered within a month. So I get rid of my old furniture thinking it will be delivered by the date they gave me and then it turns into “Sorry it’s back ordered another month.” One month turned into “Now it will be delivered by December,” and I paid in full in July. Would only recommend if they have the items in stock. Communication has been bad, I can never get through on the phone. I have to go in person just so they can tell me it’s going to be another 4-8weeks.

You will never get your furniture. We paid in full for a sofa on April 1, that was promised in end of May, then July, the no later than August, then in October I was told 5 of the 7 pieces were in stock and they would deliver them by oct 30.. now I’m being told none of its in stock and Jan is my “estimated date”

If I could leave negative stars I would. I had truly the worst experience at this store. I ordered a bed back in May 2021 and upon arriving in October 2021, they delivered the wrong bed. I called and went to the store and they had no idea where my original order went. Somehow my order got changed and they had no record of why or who changed it. I asked for a refund for the entire order, and they reluctantly refunded me for a portion of the order. I can’t believe their customer service team could not offer me anything to refund the whole order when they are the ones who messed up. VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT I ORDERED A BED 5 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND WHEN THE WRONG ITEM SHOWED UP THEY JUST SHRUGGED THEIR SHOULDERS AND DIDNT HAVE AN ANSWER FOR ME. not to mention, the bed they tried to replace my original order with was less expensive, but they tried to charge me the same amount. Now I am without a place to sleep and to reorder the bed would take 3-5 months. Would not ever step foot in this store again STAY FAR FAR AWAY

One of my worst experience ever! I made an order in March as I’ll get it in April and it was a bedroom and a foundation. Every time I go to them they say you will have it by next month, until August I didn’t get my order. So I had to cancel it. And now we come the worst thing is they won’t give a refund back!!! Every time they say you will have it by next week but nothing. They are bad customer service and I will never ever make another order from them, and will never recommend it!!!!

My first time going to Ashley Homestore, sadly disappointed. The quality of the furniture is cheap, I felt like I was looking at a staging for an open house. There was nothing there that I would have considered purchasing. The sales associates were friendly and helpful though.

Ordered two tables and a couch back in April, 2021. Finally got the couch end of June but it was ripped. They took it back and gave me a brand new couch in 2 days. Why did I have to wait so long if you have another couch just sitting around??? It is 9/27/2021 today and have yet to receive the tables, even though they were originally quoted for end of June then the end of September. After waiting forever finally got ahold of customer service and they tell me the tables are now scheduled for January 4th, 2022, and that thats only an estimate and will probably be pushed back more. I will be warning everyone to stay away from here. Tldr: DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO WAIT AN HOUR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A YEAR FOR A SIDE TABLE!!!

Ugh where to start? Ordered a sectional 6-15-21. Was told 6-8 weeks MAX. It’s been 3 and a half months. I’ve called numerous times to be told different anticipated dates over and over. Fast forward to now…in one day I received 3 phone calls. One to schedule delivery for 9/25 for half my sectional. one to schedule delivery for 10/1 for my whole sectional, and one to tell me my order is now on back order. Now on back order 3 and a half months later??? No one can give me an answer, I was hung up on by the last caller. I re-arranged my schedule for 9/25 which was pointless. I rearranged my schedule for 10/1 which now seems to be pointless, and still no one knows where my furniture is. At this point im wondering if I’ll ever get my furniture! They were quick to take 3k from my account back in June though! They lie to get you to purchase, then don’t deliver on ANY promised date.

Well the experience started out good but has turned I to a nightmare! We purchase an entryway table from them and decided the follwoinf day to cancel the order. It has now been a few weeks and we have made multiple calls to cancel the order and get our refund. It’s should not be this hard to cancel an order and it should have taken one phone call! I did like many items in the store but will not be returning due to the customer service. We are currently still waiting on our refund….

If not for world class customer service from Nikki in the store, this would not have bet. A great experience- but Nikki saved the day!

Super expensive but great furniture pieces, and the employees are AMAZING! They stayed 2 hours after closing to help us get our payments completed.

Very scams ,we order everything for new house ,they tell me 6 to 8 week for delivery ,if ok ,but they never come very late ,we just come to cancel ,

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in the history of companies I have been waiting for my furniture for 7 months and have not received anything meanwhile Everytime they say they will be making a delivery I end up taking a day off of work so I can be here when my furniture mind your this is the 6 or 7 time I have taken off of my job in order to receive my order that never comes every time it’s a different lie 3 weeks ago they said they had my stuff but the truck broke down the week after they said o sorry your order didn’t make it to the warehouse on time for us to put it on the truck every week a new lie If I had time I would stand in front of every ashley store and advice everyone not to buy anything from here ever I have had a empty living room for more then 3 of the 7 months I have been waiting worst furniture store worst customer service

Erik was super helpful from beginning to end. With COVID causing so many delays with products, I almost felt defeated but with Erik’a help I was able to furnish my son’s room before October arrives. He is personable, pays attention and treated me like Royalty while I was there. Thanks Erik again and if I need something else, I’ll definitely be back!

Purchased furniture about 2 months ago. I was given 6-12 weeks estimated delivery date. Stopped in the store after 6 weeks to check the status of my order. My sales associate seemed annoyed that I was inquiring before the full 12 weeks had passed. No matter my question, the only answer I received was “come back after 12 weeks and check again“ I called the store for an update at 8 weeks, automated system informed me the furniture would be an additional 14-17 weeks wait time. Trying to get through to someone on the phone has been a nightmare. Tried to cancel over the phone as advised, their phone system is horrific. Once I was able to speak to a sales associate, he was admit he was unable to process a refund over the phone. Went to the actual location to cancel because I can’t wait until January 2022 to furnish my home. I’ve been standing in front of the customer service desk for about 90 mins waiting to be helped. ***** Update: After a lot of hassle I ended up getting my furniture sooner than what the automated phone system stated. I do love the furniture so far. My advice is no matter what your salesperson tells you, complete all communication in person at the same location you made your purchase. Do not call or email, you will receive different information each time. This was an extremely difficult and time consuming process however I do love my new furniture.

WORST STORE - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY We unfortunately ordered a lot of furniture from them including two sofa sets, coffee table, side table and entire patio furniture. I wish I had read the reviews earlier. They provided the furniture after 3 months of constant calling and asking for the delivery date and it is all damaged so we had to return all of it. How can they claim to #1 furniture company when they can't deliver the furniture without damaging it. The sales rep won't pick your call after you have made the payment. No help anywhere at their store or customer service. Wasted so much of our time and then also we are sitting here without our furniture. We don't even know when our order will get delivered now. Please don't waste your time and energy here. Go anywhere but here.

After purchasing a couch that ended up not fitting, we had to go pick out a new couch and the service provided by the manager, Martin Coyne was above and beyond exceptional. He helped lead us to a couch that was much better suited for what we needed, than what we had previously picked out. Sandra white, store operations manager, also went above and beyond to help with delivery and making sure our order was taken care of. They made the shopping experience well worth it. Thanks again.

I order my bedroom set and sofa 25 April 2021 ...my sofa is coming 29July 2021.....bedroom set r 1st time coming 19 Aug 2021 all stuff r broken ...than next coming 27 Aug 2021 This r same all stuff r broken comming ...now I call tha Store they said now we r again order the bedroom set ....

Buying a table shouldn't be more paperwork than buying a car, especially without financing or delivery. I should be able to walk in, point to a table, give money for the table, put the table in my vehicle, and leave. Not spend two hours filling out paperwork that doesn't even apply.

I ordered a rocker recliner 4-21-21It is now August 21st and we have still not received it every time i call they add on more weeks. Now they tell me 12-8-21. I will be cancleing my order

Save the headache and go spend your money and time somewhere else. They said 8-12 weeks but turned out to be 5-8 months. Items were delivered without hardware and after 4 months of waiting for hardware, I’m still trying to call and to get someone out to put the items together. They scheduled me for delivery 3 times in which no one ever showed up and without informing me. I have bought from Ashley’s from 3 different states I’ve lived in and this is by far the worst.

Never buy from this store. The people are nice but the delivery and items on how it was delivered was HORRIBLE! There was greasy fingerprints everywhere! Also a small backboard on the stand I had was missing! One of the shelfs was missing a back piece to support it! The TV stand came with ZERO nails to put the shelfs together! The manager even said it would void the warranty with the stand if we put our own nails in there! I seriously highly doubt they will re-emburse us for ANYTHING!

I have not yet received my furniture as it is on back order so my review is simply for the employees at Ashley Homestore. Patrick was very knowledgeable and helpful in a friendly and professional way. He helped me pick out a couch and chair and I didn’t feel like he was trying to push a sale on me at all which I really appreciated. I would definitely refer any of my family or friends here.
