I purchased some new furniture this past weekend. They had a nice selection and quality pieces. Charrisa was the team member who helped my family and I. She was great. She was helpful and was not pushy to make us buy something. It was a good experience.

I hope I love the furniture I bought. Delivery on Friday. WATCH OUT THOUGH! I was over charged $500 on the purchase and my salesperson added the $500 protection fee without approval Plus I was quoted a delivery fee and charged 4x that amount. I went in and remedied this and the manager gave me some further discounts and took off the fraudulent charges. I am a bit shocked the sales girls pulled this. One smudge on the furniture or any issue with 2 matresses it’s going back.

Allison was extremely helpful. Made us feel very comfortable. Explained everything. She deserves 5 stars.

Spencer was great at showing me options because I have cats with claws. My previous purchase with Ashley’s was back in 2005 in Ohio before it came to Michigan. That furniture is still looking good in my daughter’s house with a toddler and a cat with claws. I am hoping this set will last like that.

Allison walked me thru several options for a dining room set and we found something better than I was expecting. So excited for it to arrive!!

My experience with Ashley was terrible. I bought a sofa and loveseat set two years ago along with a 4 or 5-year warranty. Though it was expensive, the quality of the product was already disappointing on the day it was delivered. The sofa looked used, and the seating started to deform and sag after just one month of normal use. They refused to accept a return, otherwise I definitely would have returned it. It has been a complete waste of money for such poor quality furniture. After many back-and-forth phone calls, they never fixed the issues. The 5-year warranty that cost me $400 is basically useless. In the store, they advertised that it would cover everything, but when I contacted them, I learned the coverage is extremely limited and excludes sagging, tearing, and other common problems. I have since moved out of state and am not willing to waste any more time or money trying to get repairs, even though I technically still have the warranty. I would never purchase from Ashley again

Everyone was basically helpful and attentive. I do feel like I was pushed a little over my budget, however if we never use the protection plan we get it back in store credit after a period of time. The furniture there is much better quality than most discount places like Bob’s or ABC, and the price tag reflects that. I would probably purchase from Ashley again. I was only slightly disappointed that the ottoman option for our couch did not have a top that lifted with storage inside. Other than that I do like the couch a lot.

The gentleman that delivered my couch were very courteous, knowledgeable, fast, and efficient The only thing I would say was, I wish they would’ve wore booties for their shoes

Very satisfied with the sales associates that assisted me with my purchase. They were both very pleasant and patient with me while I was making the decision of what to buy. Shea was great at explaing my options when it came to the fabric that I choose after I explained what I was looking , and KJ was great at explaining finance options.. I'm looking forward to my delivery and seeing the furniture in my house.

The Novi store is so warm and inviting from the sales people to the prices. Their clearance center is full of really nice items you won’t find anywhere else. They really know how to treat a customer. The store manager, everyone working there and my sales guy was a very helpful young man. Thank you for all of your help and accommodation in helping us with our purchase. I found everything I needed and didn’t know I needed walking the entire store. Their furniture is high quality. Please go check the out yourself. You’ll love what you see and want to buy up everything!

My husband and I were out shopping for a mattress. The sales associates started our great (had no concept of walking away to give the customers time to talk) but other than that did good. Found us a mattress that we both liked. When we asked what I’m assuming to be a manager who stepped in about anything additional on pricing for paying in full (they kept pushing their 60 months interest free) she said price is locked on mattresses. We asked for a couple more minutes and maybe 20 feet away from us the sales associate and manager laughed about us asking, so within earshot and we heard it all. As we started to leave she stopped us asking what we were thinking and we told her not only did we hear them laughing we found it the same price on sealys official website PLUS a $200 visa giftcard and the exact same financing offer they were pushing so much she told us she could match the price. I told her she told us she can’t move on price and also that the laughing was the issue. I refuse to help someone who disrespects me pay their bills. A different manager did not care what we had to say on the way out as well of the disrespect that happened and that both of them had lost his store this sale. We came home and purchased the exact same mattress online for the same price plus getting a $200 visa giftcard so technically $200 more off. DO YOUR RESEARCH, do not just listen to what a sales associate/manager tells you (ask for time to talk so they will walk away and do your research). our new mattress not from them but exact same mattress same warranties and same offers should be here soon!

I wish I could give two separate reviews because our in store visit was quite pleasant with Jeffrey. He was very helpful and easy to deal with. We decided to pay for the white glove delivery which has completely overridden our good experience in store. We purchased a reclining sofa and recliner chair on 1/17 for our newly furnished basement. The chair was not able to be delivered until 2/4, but they said they could deliver the sofa on 1/22. Perfect. I took the day off on 1/22, but the delivery team rescheduled my delivery, without my knowledge or consent. So I sat at home all morning waiting for the text to update me on delivery time. It wasn’t until late morning that I called customer service and they informed me it got rescheduled. So now the sofa is set to be delivered on 1/27. That’s fine, my wife will take the day off this time to be home for the delivery. All appears to be going well up until I get a call at 3pm saying our house is the next stop. The delivery guy asks if the sofa is going on the main floor, which I inform him it’s going in the basement. I tell him we have a walkout basement, but it’s on a hill and we just had a recent snowfall. But no worries if that doesn’t work, our stairwell going into the basement is mostly open and should be plenty easy to take it down. He audibly sounds irritated. They arrive at the house and tell my wife they cannot deliver it because the snow. She asked about bringing it down the basement stairs and they say it won’t fit. If it won’t fit through my stairs then it won’t fit through my sliding glass door. How does anyone get a sofa in a basement? The delivery guys go on to explain they had a late start that morning and they still have several stops before their day is over. They didn’t want to put the effort in to deliver it. It was painfully obvious. Needless to say they’ve now rescheduled our delivery again for 2/4. So we will have to take another day off work. And if there’s an issue I’m done with Ashley. The white glove delivery is a disaster and I’m extremely displeased. Find a way to transport the furniture yourself if you can.

Service inside the store is a 5. The reason for the one is that I left the store with a delivery date of January 27. I confirmed my given time of delivery from 11:15 to 2:15. I confirmed a total of 4 times: yes for the two emails and yes from the two text reminders. Around 6:38pm on the 26th (after confirming four times with a yes) I received notification that my order delivery time had been canceled. No explanation. Yesterday, the 27th, I had to submit two times the screenshot of all four yes responses confirming. I finally received “we are sorry for the inconvenience”, but no suggestion of another delivery date/time. Update: I finally received a call and the table was delivered on February 5. The table was delivered without legs! It was delivered in the morning and it was 7 o’clock that night before they got back out with the legs. One of the levelers on the bottom of a chair was missing. It was apparent because when they placed that chair on the floor it was lopsided. They turned it over and saw the leveler was missing. The initial crew that delivered told us that they had marked it down and called it in. A different team came out that night to install the legs and had no idea what we were talking about. Once they saw it, they called it in. Two weeks later and can only assume that no one‘s ever going to come out. Such a shame. I can’t say enough positives about the sales team. They are a 5+, but the delivery and follow up leaves much to be desired.

Wanted to leave a review for Kristen M, who assisted with the purchase of a new mattress yesterday. We came from previously shopping at another store where a salesman introduced himself, left us alone, and then stalked us closely around the store step by step. We left feeling uncomfortable and with less guidance than we were hoping for. We came into Ashley and got a chance to look around at our pace, and then were later approached by Kristen. She was so incredibly nice and helpful, gave some great recommendations, and had an answer for everything we asked. She made the process easy and we left so happy with our decision. Beautiful furniture store and it was our first time in the store. Prices were decent but outside of our budget.

Expensive staff was good

I spent 3k for a new bedset and mattress. I was told I would get delivered that week. It came a week later missing an item I purchased that was in store. That took over another full week to arrive. When I asked for a credit for my dissatisfaction for my experience they provided me with $14 credit. After months of going back and forth woth AI bot and whomever responded to me but never solved my issue im beyond upset. I will never shop at ashley furniture again. Once they get your money they dont care about you as a customer. I will use garner white in the future I suggest you do the same. What a joke they customer service team is. The only reason they get 2 stars is their delivery drivers were the only helpful ppl. Super angry customer

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture when I bought my Tempur-Pedic mattress. KJ Roberts was awesome! My daughter and I had come in over the holiday and tried some out, and when I came back 10 days or so later he remembered who I was and exactly what I was looking for and answered all my questions. The man deserves a huge raise! For my next furniture purchase I will definitely check out Ashley first!

Our salesman was Jeffrey and he was so helpful and knowledgeable. Ashley is a no pressure store and all the employees were friendly. We ended up purchasing a coffee table and 2 end tables, the store has what appears to be very nice quality furniture. I will definitely shop here in the future!

Purchased some living room furniture, couple of couches with recliners and 3-piece end table set. Haven't purchased new furniture in about 25 years. Very impressed with the sales staff, friendly and professional. Our selection seams to be of good quality and reasonably priced. Looking forward to our upcoming delivery. Thank you!

1/3/2026. Just walked through with my wife, looking to buy a glider for our nursery. The store was devoid of customers and flush with staff, but they seemed more interested in talking to each other and invested in their phones than making a sale. Bummer.

Delivery service horrible! Store didn’t complete order was told 3 different dates to only be delivered and the guy breaks my headboard now being told it’s not in the warehouse so once again wait very bad miscommunication

I want to start off by saying I didn’t know how to write a google review , I googled how to just so I can share the issues I have to maybe save someone from the head ache. I want to start off with I have bought furniture from this store several times yet that will not matter when it comes to customer care I promise. I recently purchased a ($2,000) dining table and chairs and a ($900) couch. Now with whatever sales trick they used my end all was ($3600) but that is not my issue my issue is when I picked the chairs up and got home I opened the box to discover one of the ($250) chairs of the set of 5 was different than the rest. I called in and customer service said they will write a claim and will fix the issue …. That was over a week ago and they have yet to reach out to me. I called back in just for them to tell me they didn’t see a history of a claim and we would have to start the process over again…. Immediately my mind went “I know where this is going , been here before” just like every big business I’m stuck in the loop of I paid them and am still waiting for receiving the correct order. Either or I’m not interested in hearing back from Ashley’s about this matter because even if they were to say we will clear your whole balance etc…. I still wouldn’t shop there again. That’s the point of frustration I’m at, when I picked the order up the distributor employees were extremely rude , extremely unprofessional. I can not get ahold of the store it goes to robots so I’m done with it. I just simply want to share how hard it is to get customer service to appreciate there customers and because they don’t , that alone is why I won’t spend another dime. Secondly , the salesman I was working with split my payment up and put half on Ashley’s card half on Acima . I paid Acima off the day I got my order BUT…. One thing he didn’t tell me is he charged me ($160) over the approved limit on the Ashley’s card . It shot my credit score down 64 points. For me this is a huge deal , I bought two cars and a house and total my score went down 6-7 points…. For him to put me in a position to shoot my credit score down 64 points after spending years to rebuild my credit after hard times. It’s unprofessional and shows the lengths they have the sales associates go to get the sale. When I called everyone passed the buck around and wouldn’t take responsibility. Till finally someone said take it up with the bank. I know they can’t fix my credit but to screw someone and then say well take it up with the bank and have no accountability of what they did made me realize exactly who I just got done doing business with. They destroyed years of hard work on my credit and to them it means nothing. So just be aware of the issues I faced and hopefully this saves someone from having to go through a painful process of buying furniture. Current day I still don’t have my full order and have not been able to speak to anyone. One important thing to add is … all the sales things they do , moving numbers around and adding charges here and there , they could have made my limit work with just $160 dollars over or simply told me I couldn’t do it because I wasn’t approved for the full amount I much rather would have liked to be told I couldn’t than them still knowing that and charging me the $160 over the limit the bank told them I was approved for . Out of all options they chose to go with the one that made them even the tiny bit more money and tanked me 64 points. Think about that for a minute. It’s the up most selfish and greedy decision I have had a sales person make during a business deal I was apart of. $160 and making the choice to do it anyways was worth it to them. Mind you I was approved for much much more with Acima so that deal was put together this way for one main reason . He could have easily chose to put the $160 on the Acima side of the deal.

We had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture thanks to Jeffery. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. We spent about two hours in the store, and at no point did we feel rushed or pressured. Jeffery took the time to answer all of our questions and helped us find the perfect living room set for our home. We left the store very happy with our purchase and the overall experience. If you’re shopping at Ashley in Novi, I highly recommend asking for Jeffery!

I was a little confused on where to go to do the pick up but once I found the area, the staff (behind the desk and the loader) were very friendly and professional. I picked up 2 sectionals and the guy loading did it with ease and order. I’d definitely do another pick up with Ashley Furniture.

There’s an issue with the delivery of the bed room set. Ashley sent the wrong mattress frame support legs. Did you send a floor bedroom set?? It looks very dirty and there is a tear on the frame. No bold screws on the edge support. The delivery guy claimed that it’s Ashley’s mistake. This is your second attempt to fix the problem. I request an immediate prompt solution for my case.

I bought a full size sleigh bed delivered a month ago 11/25 to my new home from Ashley Furniture. When I gripped the headboard to shift the bed away from the wall the headboard immediately cracked splintered & separated from bed rail. I called Ashley customer service 5 times back to back was put on hold over 3o minutes each call. I listened to annoying voice prompts. I went to the store where I purchased the furniture asked for store manager but was given a number from a sales clerk who said the store does not have store manager. I am distraught over paying my hard earned money for a crappy cheap piece of furniture that I have never yet slept in since delivery. To date no one from Ashley has addressed my issue to offer a new bed replacement. I do not want a second hand fix. I want a brand new bed! The customer service number is a joke. No live person to speak with. The link to fill out complaint form says it doesn't recognize my purchase and link.is broken. At this point I have a broken bed and no assistance from Asklye Furniture to offer a new replacement. The furniture is not real wood however I didn't want particles board that cracked apart on gentle tugging either. I regret that I did not read the reviews especially Reddit. Many people are having unresolved issues with their sub standard furniture and no support!. Ashley honor the warranty and replace my bed!

I have been to Ashley furniture for two different reasons. The first one is to look at a mattress which the people were very well educated and very helpful. They even helped me figure out what my old mattress was and what was comparable to it now since I really liked it and just wanted to replace it. I went back the second time to purchase a recliner and they were so helpful. Amazing quality in the chair. It is an order and I can’t wait until it arrives in February. I will update you again once I get it and let you know how it all turned out. Definitely recommend

Great Delivery Service!

Horrible. My fiancé and I ordered a couch, kitchen table, and 8 chairs. Delivery is $500 so we decided to pick it up ourselves since we’re a young couple and are trying to save money. They told us our furniture will be ready for pick up on November 29. We call the day before and only two of our eight chairs are ready to be picked up, and the status on the couch, kitchen table, and other chairs is pick up on December 6. We just called today to confirm our furniture is ready for pick up and they tell us our table is discontinued and will never be able to be picked up since it will no longer be in stock. We call our sales rep who sold us the table and chairs and he said that’s a miscommunication for it’s not out of stock, but he has no idea when it will be able to be picked up. Could be weeks, could be months. To spend thousands of dollars on furniture and not be able to know if it will ever be in stock is unacceptable. They offered to sell us the display model, which has huge scratches in the top of it. Overall, poor communication And purchasing furniture at this big of a corporation definitely ensures they don’t care about you or how long you saved up money to be able to buy furniture and how disappointing it is to go like this

Nice showroom. The service was thorough and attentive. Not five stars because my order contained a $400 charge for white glove delivery when the Black Friday sale specified that white glove delivery was free. I had to call customer service to have the charge removed. Why such a large delivery fee anyway? I must have been too sleepy to catch it then. That would have canceled the sale.

Salesman was pleasant and experience was good. I would give 5 stars but protection plan was added on to our bill when I said I didnt want it. My fault for not reading the receipt prior to signing but still not happy about it.

This has been a debacle since day three of my purchase. People charging for what they said was a 5 year guarantee but was a purchased service. Follow that up with items supposedly being delivered and then never being contacted that they aren’t and you find this to have been a perfect cluster. Then being told the manager can do nothing about this as well as being told the next level customer service would call you, and they don’t, I miss Art Van. The only bright spot was Jefferey who didn’t even finalize the sale but jumped in and did whatever he could to make things right. Customer service is a lost art and obviously Ashley Furniture is one of the reasons why.

Our sales rep Zahra was excellent! Professional, friendly and worked to meet my needs. It was a pleasure working with her and will look for her again if anything else is needed.

Changed it to 5 star. My delivery is back on the schedule for this week and I appreciate it. I do think Ashley furniture is the better furniture store around which is why I ordered my couch from them. I do think they should atleast call before canceling orders especially after confirming in the store and through text message the date. The only thing I didn’t confirm was the time frame. Rude staff.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! I have been trying to order a replacement insert for a couch for over 3 months. You can not order replacement parts in store or online you can only call their customer service which is overseas. Anytime they try to place any order or get any info they message someone else so you are constantly either waiting for a call back or have to call in again and re explain everything to another person. I have been told one thing by someone and then told another over and over again no one knows what they are doing and it is so frustrating. I have called customer service 30 times and still no cushion. Save your time and your money and do NOT buy from Ashley furniture because once you buy they don't care about you and will not help you.

Purchased a very expensive couch sectional from the Novi store. It was delivered today and one of the sectionals had a slice through the fabric. They said they would deliver a new one today or tomorrow so we sent the damaged piece back but kept the rest. Their 855 number reopeeaentative now says they don’t have anything in stock and it could be weeks for a new piece. Shop elsewhere.

I will never shop with the company again! I had a delivery scheduled for 10/31/25. They emailed me and stated that they are canceling my delivery. I then get a call from the sales representative stating that they broke the leg on my table and they will have to reschedule my delivery. I tried to cancel my order because I don’t have time to wait for another delivery date. The sales representative then stated that they would order me a brand new table and chairs and the delivery would be scheduled for 11/11/25. I already took this day off of work, and now I get an email stating that my delivery is scheduled for 11/14/25. This is terrible customer service and I don’t recommend anyone to shop here for their furniture. I am calling as soon as they open to cancel this order.

This review is not meant for the local store but instead the company as a whole. We got a brand new bed set had to file a claim for a service. 5 weeks has gone by and no parts have been delivered to my door. I reached out to customer service and they explained that parts were never ordered and a claim was never processed even though I have the emails and texts that say it was approved and parts would be ordered. Terrible logistical problem, someone really dropped the ball and we will never shop at Ashely’s again.

Very great price on a very comfortable recliner

I had previously visited the store and new exactly what I wanted, but was pressed for time and was not prepared to make the purchase and arrange for delivery. When I returned a week later, the young lady who greeted me was polite and professional. She quickly confirmed the item was available, arranged for delivery, took my payment. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes!! Great experience.

We had Spencer for our salesman, he was great I couldn’t believe the knowledge he had of what in the store. When I come back for anything else I will ask for him.

First, let me say I really love my sofa and loveseat. They are perfect. The problem came with the lamps and the customer service. When shopping I was positive about the sofa, but not sure about the lamps, and while browsing I said to the young man who was helping me, I can just return them if I don't like them. He said ok, and sold me my furniture. The sofa and loveseat were delivered within a week. Three weeks later when the lamps finally arrived, I had already found something else I really liked, so I did not open the box. I called the customer service line and was told ASHLEY FURNITURE DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS. The woman at customer service then said I could call the store. So, I did. When I finally talked to the store manager, Tad, and explained to him that I was never informed of the policy, that neither the sales person, nor the manager that assisted him with completing the sale had mentioned this policy, especially when I said to the sales person, oh I can just return these if I don't like them, (because that would have been the time to say, we'll no ma'am, we actually don't take returns for any reason) he had the attitude that I was lying. He refused to let me speak to the manager that sold me the furniture and hung up on me. Why would I lie about some lamps, that are still in the box!! Now that I know each Ashley Store is independently owned and operated, or in this case licensed by the company so it is independent, I would suggest that you order your items directly from Ashley online.

It was a good experience with KJ Roberts. I was first intrigued by the white coat as I entered. White coat in a furniture store. Good draw! Mr. Roberts was knowledgeable and able to draw both my husband and I in to purchase two items.

I ordered a bed and was told it had to come the warehouse and I would receive on the date he said. I called the store and was told I wouldn't receive it until 2 weeks. I had sold my old bed. I didn't have a bed to sleep in and was told they couldn't send the new bed until 2 weeks. Happy me sleeping on the couch.

It was good but was told if we didn’t use the protection plan we get that money back. When I read the fine print, it is NOT not cash back but rather a voucher towards a future purchase. I was lied to and don’t appreciate the misinformation.

Nice sales person. Nobody met me at the door until I asked them who was up next. They were all just sitting in a line looking at us which was a little weird. Anyway, once we met her, she got right to work, helped us pick out what we needed, and we were on the way. She gave us a delivery date and the store text us with later delivery dates instead, but I don’t really care when we get it (some might though).

Bravo! Fantastic job. We shopped 4 of your competitors and found that the quality of your furniture was top notch. We also like that the set we purchased was made in the USA. More important was the product knowledge and customer service we received from Charrisa Moss (furniture) and Kijana Roberts (mattress). As a former national Sales Director, I observed that both were keen on listening with just the right balance of salesmanship and towing the company line. Don’t take either of these employees for granted and give them a raise. Ashley is lucky to have them and don’t take that for granted.

We stopped in and didn’t feel pressure while speaking to Kristin. We told her we’d discuss and contact her. We contacted her a few days later and met up to place our order. Ashley seems like a great company with good customer service and great warranty. We will likely be customers for life!

Ashley furniture will sell you on a protection plan that does not cover the structure of the furniture. I’ve had my sofa set for 3 years. Very lightly used. The structure of the couch has failed and Ashley and the third party insurance company refuses replacement or compensation. I do not recommend buying their furniture as it’s proven to be sub par and will break before you know it. Shame on a company to not back their furniture manufacturer. I will never recommend Ashley to any family or friends.

I went to look for new lamps. Had no idea what I wanted just something fresh, my salesman gave me plenty of time to walk around and select a few. He did measurements on them for me and was a great great help. The ones I finally decided on are perfect for my house. I am so very happy to follow his advice and now once home they are perfect

Update: Ashley just delivered our order but in the wrong color so I refused it... they asked me to wait 24-48 hours but no one called. I called their 866 number and the recording says delivery is scheduled for 9/24 WHILE WE'RE ON VACATION and another 13 day delay. Update: Ashley just called to say our order will be 11 days late. I had to cancel Labor Day weekend plans to protect the original date but now it's rescheduled... disappointing! Demetrius was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This review is not meant for the local branch. The manager and the floor agent were actually very help and decent. I don't really write reviews but this is worth writing about. We had a dining table delivered and we paid to have it put together as well. The delivery guys did put it together and then they realized it has one leg shorter than the others, they tried to fix it but it did not work and they just left. I called customer support and someone answered, asked me to send pictures which I did and told me that I will have an answer by the end of the day. Well, I didn't. So I call again 2 days and they tell me that I will hear back in 48 hours. Again, I didn't hear back. So I call again 48 hours later and I am told that the person I spoke to never filed the claim. So the new agent offers to file it for me and asks me to send pictures again which I did. She again tells me that I should hear within 48 hours. A week later I call and apparently that agent again never filed the claim. Anyways they finally file and again I am told I will hear back within 48 hours. Again I don't. So I call a week later and I then I was kept on hold for like 15 minutes and I end up hanging up. So now I had this faulty table that wiggles and has chipped wood on the table top for almost a month. That's it. They have the worst customer support I have ever encountered.

HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION AND TIMING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE.I ordered a bed set on July 4th, sales rep claimed it was all in stock and we agreed on delivery for July 26, two days prior to delivery. We get a call from them stating that the bedframe is currently on backorder for another two weeks. One day goes by they reach out to me via text and state that these are your Options for the new delivery date. I agree to a specific date. Now I got another phone call from Ashley furniture stating that the Bedframe is still on backorder. This is the second time they keep doing the bait and switch Telling me it’s ready for delivery and then canceling on me due to backorder. Do not reach out to me To confirm a drop off date only to text me two days prior and tell me that the delivery has to be canceled. This is very unprofessional and I am not happy as a customer UPDATE 8-16-25 The store refused to give me any sort of credit for the inconvenience. My delivery date was today and by the time the drivers showed up it was pouring rain outside. I didn’t want my furniture to get wet and it was delivered with no box or any sort of protection. It was damaged. I refused delivery and canceled my order. Two months of games! This company is very unprofessional and I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint.

DO NOT ORDER WITH THEM! In the last six weeks I have had: - 3 trips to the store - 9 emails - 4 phone calls And still no furniture has arrived. Excused have included: - you paid in cash so we cant cancel - your items are out of stock (then why take our cash) - your items are didn’t schedule delivery yet (they didn’t tell me to) - your items are not scheduled for delivery - (yes they are- 4 times) - your items are out of stock again (no they’re not, I have an email that says they’re in stock from you from yesterday) - you didn’t sign this one form (you didn’t tell me to)

Jeffrey at the Novi store was our consultant. He was able to allow us the freedom to look at the pieces were discussing, form our own thoughts, and then stepped in to help us better realize the potential of the purchase we were making. We really liked a table on the show room floor. He made a recommendation about chairs (which were the same price point and wood finish). We were able to make a purchase that our bank account, our style, and our hearts could be happy with.

My husband and I purchased our bedroom set in July 4, 2025 we had our schedule delivery on July 26, 2025. We got a call saying they need to reschedule TWO DAYS PIOR before delivery due to part of a bed frame to arrive at the warehouse. We rescheduled for aug 2,2025 now today AGAIN TWO DAYS PIOR BEFORE delivery we need. To reschedule due to the part of the bed frame still hasn’t arrive to the warehouse. BEFORE PURCHASING a bedset or anything the employee should let customers know about the delay. We were told it was in stock. Now I’m regretting on purchasing our bedset from here and just rather gone to Gardner white.

Beware! Don't buy unless you're 100%. They do not Allow you to return items. They do not verbally offer this information. I went into the store and found a table I liked and a week later it went on sale so I called in and bought the table over the phone. All of my documents were emailed to me. I only thought to check the pricing not to read the fine print, which is my fault . I just made the assumption because most places allow you to return if your not happy.. The table arrived and my chairs did not fit the way I expected, they straddle the legs of the table and don't fit 2 inside.. and there was also a bubble In the veneer. But I called in. I was told that I could not return any item excepted into my house. They offered to send someone To fix the veneer. I asked to talk to a supervisor and I've never been contacted. They never came to look at the veneer. I just received a phone call the next day saying they were going to send a new table again I asked for a supervisor again and they just fought me on the fact that they don't accept returns and a supervisor will not call you. Nice in the store but once you get your order that's about it.

The Novi store manager Chris was soooo rude and disrespectful. I had an issue with the transaction he didn’t offer any help or calling anyone to resolve it, my order is about $10000 worth —- carelessly all what he said to me with an attitude when you receive the mailing letter from the Ashley credit card bank just come back to try again—- have a nice day and he turned around and left, I felt like I’m not welcomed in this store, was terrible mistreating experience!

Absolutely awful expirence with Ashley Furniture. I received the right sofa today after multiple errors with the order and delivery over the past month. This was a very disappointing experience, and I have been telling friends and family to avoid Ashley. I wish I'd of gone elsewhere.

Terrible experience. Spent nearly $400 on a sideboard. The product arrived with significant damage. The furniture itself was terrible quality. Within a day it was peeling, chipping, and bubbling off the particleboard. Spent a very long time on the phone with customer service and still do not have a resolution.

Absolutely worst experience with furniture purchase and very disappointed at lack of respect or understanding by store asst. manager Chris B. Purchase was over $5K leather power sectional,found out at delivery no power spliter cord available lied to by salesman,never told set discontinued ! Was told by service "you" can buy 1 on Amazon.. what !! Delivery dropped 2 pieces at my doorstep ripping the leather, bending metal brackets, scuffed up leather etc. Then was told by warehouse manager Alex 2 to 3 months (if they can find the pieces of furniture) to replace damaged pieces (after waiting 5 weeks already) went to store to talk with manager (Chris)..what a cold hearted condescending person, never even apologized didn't show any care or customer service just wanted to debate or not hear anything very rude, excuses is all we got, salesman not from my store, what do you want from me, where you headed with this, just showed no sense of care for customer follow up...returned all furniture back on delivery truck/canceled order. Never ever stepping foot in any Ashley store

Are experience with our order has been terrible. The day we purchased May 1 2025 everything is in stock due to carpet being put into the bedroom we called to schedule 1 1/2 weeks after purchase and told us not everything was available should be in May 29. So a June 5 delivery was scheduled. 2 days before the schedule date we received a text stating we will receive a text with a 3 hour arrival time. By 1 still no text I called the store and was told there is no delivery scheduled. They looked up the order and still not all of my order is available. This is not acceptable to me on any level. The lack of communication within the store and the customer is terrible. Told I would get a call back and never did. This is not a small $ amount order. Now told June 26. I will be looking elsewhere

This company sells very cheap quality furniture every item I got from them had damage to it, no wonder they have final sale to all furniture you buy whether on sale or new and they refuse to exchange even though you send pictures and videos. Their excuse they have to send a tech first who are unable to fix anything.

I am not happy with Ashley’s customer service. This is about a piece of furniture I ordered, and paid in full. At the time of my purchase I was told it was on back order. I kept calling in periodically to follow up on when it could be scheduled for delivery. The last time I called I was told, “oh that item has been discontinued.” I never received any notice of this, not a call, text or email. It took my initiation to call the he store, that I was finally notified. I think that was terrible customer service. Not I guess I’ll have to keep following up as to when I can expect full reimbursement. I am a very dissatisfied customer.

I wanna give Ashley a 5 star but the overall customer service has been meh and I am being frustrated at this point. 1. I literally can’t get into contact with the store directly which in itself is annoying. 2. I ordered a sofa it was too big and couldn’t fit through my door and had to send it back and get something else. I had to physically go to the store and get everything sorted out. Only to have to wait 2 more weeks until I could actually get my sofa. Only for it to be delivered and the delivery people tare a hole in my dust cover at the bottom. They made notes and said someone would call me. The call never came. I had to call and get everything sorted out only to find that someone had removed my 5 year extended warranty and there is no way for it to be put back on. At this point I’m beyond pissed because who said to do that. That instruction was never given to any sales person. So I finally get someone to say oh the techs will be out to fix your sofa only for them to send me the dust cover in the mail. Like am I expected to fix it myself? I was told by customer service that someone would call me to schedule having it fixed that was 2 weeks ago I have not gotten a call at all not even an email. I have spoken several time with my sales person Matt who has tired to be helpful but there hasn’t been any follow up with my situation and short of going back to the store for a third time and actually speaking to someone I’m not sure what to do. Needless to say I’m extremely disappointed in the service I have received with Ashley and I’m not sure I will use them Again for my furniture needs.

First of all I couldn't get a salesperson to assist me, the manager assisted me. He directed me to a salesman who was helping too many people at once. I tried calling the store several times but every thing is AI. There was confusion with my delivery my salesperson had put an item I took with me, as a delivery I guess, he won't respond. The delivery men wanted me to take pictures of items I purchased at the store and brought home with me, that was confusing. I wanted to purchase an additional item but it had a separate delivery charge, the sales person said text him if I decided to get it, I did the next day that was 12 days ago he still has not responded. The pillows were brought from the store but I guess they were also on delivery.

We spent a couple of days searching for a mattress to replace ours that had finally broke down. Kristen Was our sales person and she was excellent she was honest knowledgeable and made my husband and myself both feel very comfortable

The furniture pieces come invariably nicked and scratched and covered in dust. Scheduling is a hassle- you schedule it and make sure things are in stock at the store, then they keep changing the schedule and delaying, delaying, delaying at the last minute. A real nuisance.

Sales gentlemen were extremely friendly and helpful! (Dimitrio and Kijana!) I was able to finally choose a mattress and coffee + end table. Really appreciated the relaxed, no pressure approach.

Recently went in just to get an idea on what mattress were available and pricing. Explained to sales associate that we just started looking, weren’t planning on purchasing. She was so pushy wouldn’t take no for an answer. Didn’t show us a range of options only most expensive. We got pressured into buying and felt terrible after leaving the store. Will likely be cancelling the order since we didn’t feel like we got all the options nor really got to think it through.

Customer service experience was great. Professional yet full of humor and extremely helpful. The table that I wanted was not in store, but my sales representative looked it up and I am anticipating delivery on the 23rd of April.

Not ideal. I would give Jeffrey 10 stars however this covers the entire experience.

We were told our furniture would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. The first piece arrived in eight weeks and we were not told the second piece was not being delivered that day. I had to call multiple times to get a status and was repeatedly given much earlier dates and promises to get it deliver quickly. Well, it too another nine weeks to get here. Finally have my full order after 17 weeks. Nothing but misleading stories and outright lies. I will never shop here again.

Its was worst experience till now,I heared from many friends liked never accept partially delivery from Ashley because after partially delivery they doesn’t care about your order so same happen with us we order our dinning table around 28 dec 2024 they promise to delivered around 17th January 2025 but they delayed and delivered at my palace 29th January with wrong mounting plates so they can’t assembled same time and we talk customer support they said we can palaces new mounting plates according to your order after that we can assembled. so we thinking alots because it’s become for us partially delivery because chairs and bench completed but table not completed we thinking it’s ok within few weeks they completed table also but after 3 weeks we received mounting plates but we Are only full responsible for tracking order received order they doesn’t care or track anything after delivery of plates I again contact with customer care for assembling they said they having someone technician after 1or 2week for your place I said I paid more than $350 for assembling only it’s my mistake better I can hire someone from outside and assembled my table why I m waiting for you guys they said we are 3rd party we can’t do anything’s except sending technician after 1or 2weeks so we wait at point we also not having any option then technician come after 1week and said I can’t assembled your table because I m having different kind of technician it’s required 2mens support so you need to schedule next appointment with 2 men’s so I said okay when your staff booked you (technician) they can also see whole process in system what going in my order then how they can assign you why they sending wrong person again I called scheduling team they again said I can’t do anything we are 3rd party only do next appointment after 1week for you so till now my order still incomplete. So I m now too frustrated with my order I never wants to go there even buying single spoon from Ashley novi center they doesn’t care customer time,money,Oder or anything’s very worst experience.

I ordered a dining table and chairs from Ashley Furniture on January 1st, assisted by a salesperson named Prince. We specifically needed the table by early January, and he assured us it would be delivered by January 10. However, that date came and went with no delivery. When I called Ashley, Prince denied ever promising that date, even though my receipt clearly stated the scheduled delivery. I then had to reschedule the delivery myself through the Ashley bot, which was strange considering I had purchased the table in-store. Since we found different chairs we liked better from Ashley’s online store, I canceled the original chairs and ordered a new set online. The online chairs arrived within a week, but getting a refund for the canceled chairs became another nightmare. The table itself was delayed over and over again: • Mid-January – No delivery. I was told it wasn’t in the warehouse. • End of January – Again, no delivery. • February 10 – No delivery. • End of February – Rescheduled again. • Early March – Rescheduled again without informing me. • March 10 – I only found out about this new date when I went to the store to complain. At no point did they bother informing me of the delays—I had to keep chasing them down. The worst part? It took over a month and a half and 5-6 calls to get my refund for the canceled chairs. Ashley kept telling me they wouldn’t process the refund until the table was delivered, which makes no sense. After escalating the issue multiple times, I finally got my money back. Had I known the table was never actually in stock, I never would have purchased it. The in-store experience was filled with misleading sales tactics and empty promises. If you’re considering buying from Ashley, order online instead. At least then you’ll have accurate stock information and better customer service

Our experience with Ashley’s was excellent. Our floor salesman KJ Roberts was knowledgeable, kind and thorough. I was really impressed with the communication of our bedroom dressers delivery. We were able to track the truck and they arrived just as promised. They had like 15 stops that day that we knew of so kudos to their efficiency. Tommy the driver and his men were careful but quick and efficient. We love the quality and style of our 2 dressers and would highly recommend them to you.

This would be 0 stars if I could! I bought a power base and new mattress and was told that it would fit and be Inhered to on existing bed frame with no issue. It was delivered yesterday and the tech that put it on failed to mention that the current slates were not spaced correctly for the base to work. He told us everything was good. I tested the power function that worked. Asked the installer if there was anything I should know he said no and took a picture of the installed and left. 15 minutes later my husband sat on the bed and the pedals on the slats slid off and come off. When I looked the power base clearly does not fit on my current frame. I called Ashley's immediately (20 minutes after the driver left) and they are refusing to refund us. I have had to make 5 phone calls in less then 24 hrs to get any response. I am still waiting on a manager return call. There is no way the installer didn't know this would not work!

This isn’t a knock on this store at all, it’s on Ashley as a whole. I will never buy anything from Ashley again. Their delivery is a complete disaster and they waste your time! Also, they don’t allow for reviews on Google Or Facebook, there is a reason for that- check yelp before you buy anything! Update: I called the very number below and they couldn't help, no one seems to know what's going on and now they have cancelled the rest of my order! What a disaster. FYI, also trying to charge me $400 delivery fee for the $350 ottoman they delivered without everything else and they can't get back to me for 72 hours. I was about to furnish an entire place and I will NEVER buy anything from here again and will make sure people know not to!

Purchased $4500.00 for 1 loveseat, recliner and queen size bed. Bed was delivered with manufacturer defect for bed. Bed has a 5-10 degree lean before installing mattress. The love seat and chair fabric do not match at all. Store was MIA regarding any help resolving issue. Not a happy choice in the store. Buyer be ware. Customer service isn't always a retail store mantra. Good Luck.

We were looking for a sectional sofa and decided to try Ashley furniture in Novi, Michigan. The store is clean and bright with a lot of selection. The staff are personable and have an upbeat attitude. Upon arriving at the store we were greeted by Jefferey who was very pleasant and informative. Jefferey listened to our needs and directed us to everything we were looking for. He let us shop on our own and checked in often to see if he could be of assistance and asked how we were doing. Never did we feel pressured to make a purchase which was so nice. Jefferey asked what how our home is decorated so that he could get an idea of what type of sofa would be best. It was like having our own personal interior decorator. I would highly recommend this store and Jefferey for your furniture needs. A+

Friendly and accommodating service

I love Ashley Furniture in Novi! We live Downriver and drove all the way to this particular location because we liked the staff so much. We had such a amazing experience the first time we went that we went back a second time to get a few more things and ask some questions. The staff that works here are friendly and helpful but not pushy. They get your feedback show you some options and leave you alone to look and decide. They made us feel like family and the experience was so refreshing. I also love their quality of furniture and selection!

Jamie was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable!! Any future purchases we make will go through Jamie and no one else. He went above and beyond with every single aspect of our purchase. My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed Jamie.

This store is a bunch of scam artist be careful! I had 3 month financing And they took ridiculously high payments. The bright side was is my furniture was paid off in six weeks as opposed to three months financing I signed up for . The bad part was I was depending on the three months to pay off the furniture and expecting smaller payments and it sent my finances into a tailspin . Thank you Ashley for continuing to fail to respond and when you do you lie to me and saying you were going to fix the problem. Your customer service is absolutely horrible. You never fix the problem, and you continued to take money out of my account even after my purchase was paid off ! So now I am paying money to them after the purchase is paid for, and there is not anything my bank can do without me completely closing my entire account, causing myself more pain and suffering! I suggest going next-door to White or a different Ashley store!

We went into this store and no one greeted us. To make matters worse I’m part of an interracial couple and the white salesman focused on the white customer in front of us. After we had circled half the store I decided to go find someone to help us. To my surprise the white salesman with blond hair from the entrance had gone and found a black salesman to come and meet and help us. I was mortified that this behavior is still happening in this world today. Walked right past me and never even spoke to me. It was hard to watch this blatant racism in front of me. My decision to buy anything from Ashley Furniture has definitely changed. What a disappointment!

My husband and I came in not knowing what we wanted and were expecting prices way out of our price range when in fact that can’t be further than the truth, Christopher was our Tempur-pedic Sales representative and he took his time explaining what the differences in beds were, and what we needed to start feeling better! We had a horrible bed at home that caused us back Sachs and an even worse couch so not only did we leave with a new bed and frame but we fell in love with a couch too that we added to our order! Ashley’s will definitely have our business in the future! Thank you again to Christopher !

Beware of this loaction. They are very slick sales people. Once your order is place and you have paid, you are not sure you will receive your order. I placed my order 4 months ago, and till today I have not received anyhting. Multiple visits to the store, they tell me it will arrive soon, but nothing comes. I have tried calling Ashley corporate as well. The store has all my information wrong in the system so Corporate doesnt know what is going on. 4 months later I just kep calling them with no resolution. Not sure but be carefull of giving any credit information at this specific loaction.

Horrible customer service seriously the worst store. They lie to you about when you will receive your product. 3 different supervisors helped me ALLLLLLLLLL OF EM BAD. Ordered my Furnature Sept 5. It’s now November 8th and I’m still missing parts with no delivery date

I’m very sad about my experience with Ashley. I ordered a couch from here and it’s taking over 2 months to get delivered. I have been coming home to a home that doesn’t feel like home because the couch has taken so long to get delivered and it’s impacting my mental health and comfort at home. They need to have more stock of their furniture, what’s the point of having such a big furniture store when your items are never in stock?

Honestly one of my worst customer service experiences. I ordered a tv stand back in July. When I went to assemble it, I had two broken pieces (snapped in half) I contacted customer services, which was honestly kind of difficult. Finally I was told I would get replacement parts sent to me. They estimated it would take around 2 weeks. I received no tracking number just another order number. When I chatted with customer service again, they could not even locate the order number in the system. I was basically just waiting for these untraceable parts to show up at my door. They did in fact show up after 6 weeks :/ (twice). I finally got to assemble my tv stand in October where I got to the last step and realized I was missing screws in the tool pack they provided me. I contacted customer service again and they told me they’d send another pack to me. I got that one quicker, but as I went to again assemble with the screws, I realized I did not have the screws in the second pack either. Overall, an extremely frustrating experience. Quality control obviously lacks, customer service is unorganized. I even had gone into the Novi store where I purchased the tv stand for assistance but they basically sent me away to contact customer service. Typical sales people who once they get the sale, you are out of sight out of mind. I simply will probably never buy anything for Ashley again because this process was beyond frustrating.
