I went in just shopping around but the experience was so great that I ended up purchasing the sleeper sofa as well as the recliner that matched. I came in Sunday looking for a new couch and coffee table. The associate that helped me was Alex. Alex was amazing!! He has a great personality and you can tell really enjoys his job. He greeted me and my family as soon as we came in. He didn't show me anything I didn't want. He did a great job helping me pick out a couch that checked off everything that I needed. The table he helped me pick out again he got it perfect. I'll definitely be back again since my experience with him was so wonderful!

Super service, helpful, patient, personable
The chairs we tried were very nice and competitively priced. We purchased 3 for over $3k total. The delivery was promised for the same day which was great! However they never showed up. As it turned out, a glitch in the system put too many on that date. As we waited and waited, the only customer support line (all automated) confirmed the same day delivery. No phone option for a human. Why didn’t someone (or AI) catch this and reach out? I had to drive back to the store to sort it. Now we have to wait 5 more days (and rearrange our work schedule) for delivery. Not a good experience in the end.
Terrance was so knowledgeable in the product. We purchased a sectional. There was no pressure and all questions were answered!
Buying new furniture is stressful and more so because of the salespeople that stalk and chase us through the store. But today, we had the best experience ever because of Terrance C. He politely acknowledged us in passing as we wandered but never once pushed for a sale. His low key personality and patience with us made it an easy transaction. Maybe Ashley Homestore can make this a trend for all their salespeople. Thanks Terrance!
The customer service was excellent, the prices were quite high. I only made the purchase because the furniture is made in USA. Too bad there was no additional discount for purchasing multiple items otherwise I’d purchase much more.
Terence Cole was patient and helpful as we searched for multiple pieces of furniture. We spent several hours cumulatively purchasing 7 loveseats and complementary accent chairs. Terrence was attentive and helpful throughout the process, even when it extended past his scheduled workday. A great shopping experience!

This was my first time shopping at Ashley Furniture. My experience there was very surprising. I wasn't pressured or stalked by any sales person and that is refreshing. Salesperson Tim gave me a great deal of information about the furniture I was looking for and then when I went back the next day. Salesperson Elisa continued the professionalism of that location. Even the delivery team that brought my furniture out we're very on-point and courteous. I would advise people to shop there, nice furniture and good atmosphere. Thank you Ashley Team.

I stopped into the store looking for accessories for my bedroom . The sales person was very sweet and let me browse through the store . When I found an item I wanted and wanted she was so accommodating to make the sale apply to my selections . It was a pleasure shopping and not being pressured. Thank you again ! I will be back for bigger items in the future !
I purchased a mattress and base from Ashley and received a discount for buying them together. The mattress came with a 90-day one-time exchange warranty, which I used to exchange it for a different firmness. To my surprise, I was charged extra for an exactly same priced mattress because Ashley decided to reduce the original discount even though the store was offering the same offer during the exchange. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the store manager. He was unwilling to help and quickly dismissed my concerns. His temperament added to the frustration and showed a complete lack of care for resolving customer issues. This was a straightforward exchange under the warranty, and the base I purchased remained unchanged. Penalizing me for using a warranty they provided feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. It's unfair and disrespectful to customers. Shop elsewhere if you want clear terms and fair treatment.
I ordered a table and chairs from here in November. The table arrived two weeks late and when it did arrive one of the chairs was broken. They said they would get me a new chair in seven to ten business days. Now that new chair won’t be here for at least two months they’re saying. This is absolutely not acceptable.
Couch sales guy charged me $1900 for a sectional couch in store, went home and found the same couch on Ashley home stores website for $400 less. Won’t buy in store again, customer service was helpful.

Bought a sofa in 2021, had a rough experience for delivery but it showed up in under 6 months. This Christmas break I went to tuck the seat cushion back in and the zipper under the back cushion burst. I just learned that the 5 year warranty offered by Ashley's explicitly does NOT cover zipper failure. I can't find the zipper anymore either so I'm not sure how to repair it myself. I have no other recourse than to let others know of my poor experience with Ashley quality and ineffectual warranty. EDIT: couch is fixed, but there was a bit of a misunderstanding. It seems that if the couch is out of the 1 year warranty you can't have any service completed. I was sold the repair part by mistake and told the service couldn't be completed and I couldn't be refunded. Luckily Maria in escalation helped me out or I'd be sitting here with an $80 service part and a broken couch with no way of getting my money back short of notifying the credit card company. Service guys were great, they along with Maria are the only reason I updated this review.

I’m so disappointed! Sales rep Lee did nothing but lie to me! Day 2 after delivery I called to return. Fabric is loose on cushions, deformed cushions, extremely uncomfortable. Beware, they will say anything for a sale here. It’s also impossible to reach customer service/warranty department. After being on hold for forever, they say they’ll call back and you won’t lose your place in-line. Problem is, they never call back.
Tim was a great salesman and his manager Lamar is also very professional. I didn’t feel annoyed or pressured like I usually do at furniture stores. I will definitely come back here. Thanks guys.

Do not buy furniture here. Worst customer service. My sleeper sofa and coffee table were supposed to arrive between 7:15-10:15 am today, according to their “chat bot Jenny”, that texted me 4 times. When it didn’t arrive by 10:40 am I called the stores number, got a robot who connected me to a live voice who said they had no record of any texts going to my number and that I was not on the delivery schedule. She didn’t know why but she could put me on the delivery schedule. I had to ask her 3 times for a supervisor. Waited over 45 minutes for an “escalations specialist”. Who was very vague about what happened but did confirm that I was sent texts and was on the delivery schedule but was taken off because “either the couch was defective or some other issue “. She couldn’t tell me if there was another one available until Wednesday, but “no guarantee.” No one be from Ashley furniture notified me of any of this. She said that she would email the supply department and that IShould call the store. ( this phone call took at least an hour and a half.) I called the salesman on his cell and he said he would get back to me Right away after he was done with his customer When he didn’t get back to after an hour, called him again and he said that if I worked in retail sales I would know that that he can’t leave a customer waiting on the floor. It is 4:15 pm and no word from him. Tried calling the store but got the same recording and the recording hung up on me. Meanwhile my old sleeper sofa was taken out for trash pick up today and my relatives who are coming for Thanksgiving won’t have a place to sleep or sit. The escalation specialist in Texas joked that “ I should get a hammock and put it up in the backyard”, in Michigan. Not funny! They just want your money. Everything is paid for. I will cancel the order if not resolved ASAP. I would give 0 stars if possible.

I worked guy with named Sam. He is really good. He gives info and personal space to think about. Felt comfortable with him. I went there to have a look at one of the sofas. It wasn’t there. He showed another which we liked it better and bought it and a dining table.

The manager of the store was awful. I asked him to confirm delivery date 3 times and he never did. Delivery did not happen on time. Then my delivery was delayed 5 times. Order was placed 11/7/24 was supposed to be delivered 11/27. That did not take place. Then I have 4 more delivery dates. One of the those dates fulfilled half my order. The rest of the order was scheduled for several dates but canceled. Finally got the rest of my order today. Needless to say…I will never buy another thing from Ashley.
I came in looking for a chaise lounge. Received excellent customer service from Alex. He helped us find 2 furniture pieces that we needed. He was friendly & very professional. Most of our furniture has been purchased from Ashley & we will continue to shop here.

The reps at the store are very attentive and work with you financally. The don’t pressure you and find you what you need.
Only looking for a sale. Won't follow through with what they say they will do and their products do not hold up. Items are not constructed well and they will try to deceive you by hiding issues. See photos. If you do end up buying something, do not waste your money on the 5 yr extended coverage. It covers nothing that actually makes sense and is a waste of money.
Very kind & gifted SALES team. Be aware managers are completely and totally incompetent. They have absolutely no basic understanding in basic processing of a check. Checks are infact legal tender. To the Area Manager of Ashley - Lamarr S. needs a great deal more training. You cannot expect a customer to wait over an hour to process a check. That is simply not acceptable. [The check was a good check, with a great deal more in the account, than the written check value.] ((Please train your managers.)) The sad part they prefer a credit card, which results for them a LOSS in profit.

DO NOT GET FURNITURE FROM HERE Back in 2021 we were looking for a good quality couch for our home. We found a great couch that we paid a good chunk of money for thinking it would last long. Fast forward three years later and there is a tear in the couch… just from sitting on it (we are not large people). Ashley’s would not help us in getting a replacement cushion due to it being “out of their warranty time frame”, yet the sales person sold us on a manufacturer warranty telling us it would cover stuff like this… well it doesn’t. So now we are stuck with an expensive couch that is getting a rip on it. Highly recommend buying elsewhere in hopes customer service is better and a company that actually believes in their product quality. Will not be purchasing from here again.
The experience was fine! Normal furniture salesmen tactics.I would love to just walk in a furniture store and be able to look without the constant surveillance of the salesman.unfortunately we walked in at a time when we were the only customers in the store. I went in knowing what I wanted and bought it. Now just waiting for delivery.

I had a very bad experience at Ashley. I received my table base damaged and I was told that they would replace it , and they didn’t. The store manager Bledi Tome could have given me the floor model, but he was totally not interested in helping me. I also left messages for higher up managers, and no one has bother to contact me. I will never do business with Ashley Home Stores again!! Buyers be aware!!! I just filed a civil lawsuit against them, because when you are spending your hard earn money you should receive your items in good condition.The owner has some generic apology after each complaint!! Feel free to call us I did 20 times and nothing was done. Keep your apologies offer better customer service!!!!

We were out shopping for new bedroom furniture and wanted too stop at all the local furniture stores to see our options. Planned on buying that day as I had my trailer with me as well incase we found something in stock we could take it with us. My wife found a bedroom set she really liked at this store. We told the sales rep we had one more stop to look at first before making our decision. As we were walking out he stopped us at the door and said the manager would give us 25% off instead of 15% I said great we will probably be back but still wanted to check out the last store. Then he said his manager said this was a now only deal. I asked if we came back in three hours would they not honor that and the manager said no. 25% now or 15% in three hours. I walked out knowing I would not be coming back with those tactics. Wife not to happy as she really liked that set but I will not purchase from a store or company that trys to use those kind of pressure tactics. I would recommend staying away from a place like this. They lost a sale. I will defintly not be going back.
This was my first time buying from Ashley. I was able to go in and browse without being pushed. Elisa was there to help answer questions, and provided insight about the furniture I was looking at. She was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The furniture has since been delivered and I love it. Comfy and appears to be great quality!

Sales associate was extremely helpful and patient as we picked out what we needed and showed us multiple options to choose from that fit our style and color scheme. Updating review based on two failed delivery attempts of 2 items that were not given notice that they were backordered another 2 weeks bringing total to 10 weeks from original order date. After the first reschedule, was notified that they would be in stock by certain date only to find out on the delivery date that the truck didn't have any knowledge of that order and upon calling customer service was notified that it was again out of stock. Maybe more reflection of the corporate logistics than the store, but frustrated customer nonetheless.

Have To edit my first post. Service and sales went smoothly and Jasmine is still a jewel. Customer service Nightmare! My recliner came in the door with the adjustable headrest not working. Within less than 24 hours later had filed a “warranty “ claim. In the interim I noticed two small holes in couch and again had to send pics/ video. (Already sent once) Part arrived, contacted “customer care team” and was scheduled for a service call. Cut to the chase, no one showed so called”customer service” (call center) and informed no service call was scheduled! My $4000.00 furniture will be sitting here with tags still attached for a month. Totally disgusted

The prices in the store are inflated so they can say they’re giving you a deal when they’re not. Check the online store before making any purchases here. The workers here are also very aggressive, in the sense that they are actually just mean. The most horrific customer service experience I have ever been a part of. Never buy from this store. If there’s a piece of furniture you absolutely need from here, just buy it online and save yourself the money and having to deal with these people.

The store manager Austin is a 100% liar and coward. My wife and I order large sectional from them, we had concerns that it may be too big for our living area. Austin stated it'll be easier to return the pieces as opposed to buying the pieces later. We took his advice and ordered because he said we can return the pieces if it was too big. Long story short, it was too big and we weren't able to return it due to no returns in fine print on the contrac. We went to the store to talk to Austin and had the audacity to threatened to call the police. AUSTIN IS A SCAM ARTIST AND PREFERS PROFIT OVER PEOPLE .

I am so disappointed with the quality of the delivery and the haphazard assembly. The delivery crew threw the feet on my sectional as fast as possible leaving me with noticeably crooked feet that can be seen across the room. Less than a month in and one of the legs on my dining chairs broke, leading me to investigate the problem only to find out it was assembled incorrectly at the warehouse. They even taped over the bolts to either try to hold it together or indicate there was a problem. Either way it was delivered and almost toppled over with my child in it. Then I go to check the rest of my chairs to find them all with very loose bolts, missing bolts and improper aligned joints. To make it even worse, they had actually stripped out about a third of the hex nut bolt heads so they can't be loosened or tightened. I'm so disappointed. The couch is comfortable at least, but the coffee table was scuffed on delivery. Oh, and good luck chatting with their AI customer service bot. It offered me $15 to keep a broken chair. This is obviously a company that doesn't care about their customers, only making the sale. I'm fed up. No return policy, just awful all around. I'll never shop with them again.

My salesman indicated that the protection plan was part of my "package"; however, on my bill it was an extra $300 to cover a $550 table and chairs, and if I didn't get the protection plan I couldn't have the discount. I told him to cancel the deal, then after about 20 minutes he agreed to my terms. The set was delivered and it is beautiful. I also don't like that I was never able to call and speak to anyone.
Lamarr from the store in Orion Michigan was a dream to work with. He was patient, upfront and professional. We left the store excited about what we purchased and had a clear understanding of prices, delivery and protection plans. We'll be back to Ashley's again and soon.

I have purchased my furniture before at Ashleys and have always been pleased with the customer service and sales reps but Alex and “Spiderman” were by far my favorite reps… he is very attentive and just genuinely wanted to make sure all your needs were met… I have found the perfect dining room chairs for my a unique dining room table I have and Spiderman gave me a lovely rundown on some good sleep knowledge with the mattresses in store… I know I will be back for more knowing I am good hands!

My mom and I came in today 6/22/24 to look into buying a couch for our new apartment. We weren’t really sure what we wanted, but Brian Taylor and “Spider-Man” helped us out with their amazing customer service skills!! They were very patient with us, and were very nice. I wouldn’t come to anyone else for furniture help. We also left with two bed bases that raise and massage us as we lay in bed! Totally unrelated but we are glad to now have those! Thank you Ashley Homestore for our new furniture.

I was quite pleased that they price matched the price I found in northern Michigan. I ordered it over the phone, no in-store experience. I just sent then a picture of the chair with the price tag attached and it was matched, no questions asked. They are even allowing us to pick it up from the warehouse rather than going out of my brother's way to pick it up at the store in Orion.

I can’t speak on the quality of the furniture because I’ve never gotten it (not sure if I will) but to go in a store & spend 10k I would recommend going somewhere else with an honest rep or someone who knows their delivery policy instead of someone willing to do anything to make a sale.. so in the store he was helpful, but when it came to actually receiving my furniture I can’t say the same.. Highly recommend the Ashely Store in Lake Orion. Bledi aka Spider-Man was super helpful, patient with my family & kids as we made decisions, & got us a great deal!

My husband and I purchased a three-piece couch set for our living room, along with some clearance furniture items, and Bledi was AMAZING! He talked us through every part and helped get us the best deals. He has a wonderful and positive personality that reflected well on us while we were shopping today! Had an excellent experience at Ashley over the weekend. We had just moved and were sitting on camp chairs in our living room. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted, what colors or even the arrangement. Bledi, A.K.A. Spiderman, gave us the space to absorb all the options without bombarding us with useless facts about foam densities and fabric chemistry for items we weren't interested in. He was exceptionally helpful at pairing couches and chairs to explore design options until we arrived at the perfect choice. Obviously salespeople are going to sell what they have but Spiderman truly took the time to understand our needs and help us find a solution.
Great sales attention without being overbearing
I had the pleasure of working with Hannah at the lake Orion store. I’m always busy, can be rude and very impatient. Although the couch I wanted wasn’t present in their show room Hannah understood what I was looking for and found the sectional on their website. I didn’t spend much time at the store due to I didn’t see what I was looking for. Hannah took down my phone number and advised me that Ashley did have the furniture I was looking for. Hannah stayed in constant communication with me which was very surprising. Hannah provided excellent customer service, communication and follow up. Usually salespeople state call them if u have any questions but she didn’t cause she reach out to me daily with updates. If you go to Ashley Furniture in Lake Orion ask for Hannah she is excellent.

My salesman, Lamar, was great to work with. He kept notes which made it easy to come back a second time to purchase my furniture after I closed on my new home. He even came in on his day off to finalize the sale.
On the way out the door of Ashley Furniture we were approached by a very astute salesperson. We didn't think they had anything we wanted but we were wrong. With a little maneuvering and changing chairs we were sold. If you are looking for furniture ask for “Spiderman!” He's the best!

I want to return/ exchange this cheap furniture, I bought extended warranty & made attempted to make a claim or just return within 3 days & company denied. Find somewhere else. Delivery was 2 hours late, delivery company would not take off shoes and tried to walk in my house with muddy shoes. Salesman lied to me & said delivery company will take out my old furniture to the road. Supposedly this isn't something they offer! And I guess I was supposed to let them know before delivery that they need shoe covers??? O stars BTW they ask you you to leave a good review for the company while in the store
Most horrific shopping experience! Sales people and managers are total liars! Product is cheap and they do not stand behind it!! If you get a damaged piece, it's "oh well, when it's in your home, it's yours"!! All sales final, no returns even if product is damaged! Customer service the same, in your home, it's yours, even if you want to exchange for a more expensive model and pay the difference. The store people say they'll call you back but NEVER do, they make promises and commitments they cannot do at store level. Customer service makes promises but doesn't deliver. Truly the worst experience and most lies ever, the store doesn't even know whom the manager is, we had 4 different ones. All lied, no one called us back. Stay far away or beware...

My girlfriend and I came in around a month ago to look at mattresses since mine was caving in on itself. We looked and found a mattress we like, and spoke with Tony. We came back today and ended getting a base, a protector, two pillows, and the mattress. Tony was fantastic. He is salesman, but he was never overbearing and really easy to work with. Highly recommend going here and seeing him. Fantastic experience.

On Saturday April 13th me and my wife decided to stop on in after working 3rd shift when we first showed up we was greeted by this very kind gentleman he tried assisting us and he assisted us about half way through the store but we didn’t have any more questions well we continued walking around and another employee came up to us and started talking to us and we was looking around in the mattress section and started asking us if we needed help and kept insisting that he would help us and we simply told him we just wanted to walk around and check everything out and that we was not touching anything or messsing with anything just simply scrolling through the store for the moment then he insisted that he needed to be right there with us and that we was not allowed to walk around the store by our self we felt like criminals like we was stealing stuff or something I don’t even know what was going through his brain at that moment we feel we was racial profiled in our eyes so we decided to just leave if we can’t walk around at our own pace and talk among our self. While we was walking out to our car the original gentleman that was assisting us ended up walking right out after us all upset he understood what was going on and he was not happy about it at all. We definitely will not be back this was the first time we have never been to this location but we have been to multiple locations especially the one in bad axe mi but this will be the last time.

Save your time and money. Bought a dining set that they delivered with multiple wobbly chairs. One had a full 1/4 inch gap in the leg. Then they ghosted me when it came to fixing the issue or even responding. We had even paid extra for White Glove Service and Extended Warranty.

Most horrible customer service experience I’ve ever experienced. Salesperson did not order all of the parts for the bed that I ordered. The store refused to help and kept promising the Manager would call us back but never did. They only answer their phone if you are a new customer trying to make a new purchase. Had three different orders with the store and all three deliveries were messed up. Stay away from this store. I ordered furniture from both Gardner White and Bob’s Discount furniture and had no issues.
I dread buying furniture because the salesmen I usually get are pushy, making the experience uncomfortable. Not this time. Tony Bonk made choosing the perfect mattress and adjustable base a piece of cake. He listened to my description of mine and my husband's sleeping habits and showed me a few mattresses he thought would be a good fit. Ashley Furniture is lucky to have him! Delivery was also a breeze, with great communication. I was able to track the delivery on my phone so I knew almost exactly when they would arrive.

Just order online. Between items not being available to order and ordered items going out of stock, it's not worth the headache. Also their in store prices are hundreds more than the same peices on their website

If I could give negative stars I would. I’ll back track to the instore purchase… and how the associate was not transparent- until AFTER I applied for the Ashley card to of course save money. Then they want you to but the extended warranty coverage… saying you get the money back. What they don’t tell you is that money is only given back as an instore credit. So they basically hold onto hundreds- thousands of dollars just so you are forced to spend it in their store. Hard no for me Fast forward the items were delivered that I ordered - I am now waiting 2 months for the correction to my order that arrived incorrectly. Plus they didn’t remove my old mattress as they were supposed to… another fault of the associate it seems Of course there is no number to the store. The sales associate whatever number she gave me is San Juan Puerto Rico- weird I cannot get a return call or text. Went into the store to try and get this resolved and that was 6 weeks ago. I have called corporate 4 times and seems the left hand doesn’t talk to the right hand. I am so disappointed in the service this place has given. The sales associate literally doesn’t care- she got her commission and has moved on. Zero follow up. So here goes call number 5, hours of my life I won’t ever get back. And the wait music is enough to build your anxiety into a crescendo of hives. Save your money go some place else. I’ll be sure to tell my friends my family and anyone ever looking to shop at a furniture store- Ashley Furniture is horrendous and should be ashamed of themselves.
I’m beyond frustrated. Went in the other day and purchased a mattress, base, and frame. The kid helping me was new but he was nice. I confirmed with him over 3 times that I needed the delivery on Saturday and he assured me it would get delivered on Saturday. Well surprise surprise, I get a message from a chat bot telling me my delivery is Monday. I have to work which is why I needed SATURDAY. I’ve tried calling and even talking with the chat bot to get me to someone real that can help to no avail. Beyond frustrated. Now my mom has to take time out of her day to sit at my house and wait for the delivery. BEYOND frustrated. Won’t be purchasing anything from Ashley in the future.

They sell me a sofa that I don't request it. But they charge me for it. And then they put the right thing and lay away. When I cancel it, customer service is poor so they don't answer fast. Then they finally after a week. Come to get the sofa from my house. And it's been more than a month that I haven't get my money back. This is a horrible horrible store to buy stuff.

If I could give zero stars, I would. From selecting the bed, purchasing, delivery, every single step went wrong! The person who greeted us as the door knows nothing about what bed they have, what their prices are, and it took forever to get an simple answer. Then the purchasing part, the person miss printed the documents I need to sign twice and wasted so much time. Then the delivery, it delivery people came freaking 2 hours later than the scheduled time frame, and they went inside the bed room with outside boots, I had to clean the floor thourghly afterwards. Then customer support promised a credit to compensate for this and when the bill comes in, the credit is not shown at all, every thing is a lie. BTW, it takes so much effort to acually talks to an customer support. This is THE worst shopping experience I have ever had. Please avoid Ashely for your life.

People that buy furniture from Ashley are people that think their buying a good quality furniture product. Because Ashley's furniture breaks down after a year or two, The customer pays For Poor quality furniture. Awesome, the prices are very high because the customer has to pay the sales person. The sounds manager and the doctor that walks around in the white coat.The sells staff only gets $10 per hour. And that's a draw against their commission, making only four hundred dollars weekly. Ashley makes all their products with subpart products. A friend of mine Purchase a table and chairs, the legs were too short and too long. Ashley Furniture does not make a quality product at all. The management staff lies if the sales associate can't make the sale the manager. That's why they have the guy in the white coat to create Analysion, a smile, To make the customer happy, buy manipulation and every trick he's got up His sleeve and he will get part of the commission aswell. If you want the best price for Ashley, go to the store. Find what you want, find it online, and get the Online price. They will give it to you all the time They will try to tell you that they can't give you that price. But I'm telling you 100% that they can. But it's the salesman's job or the manager or the man in the white coat. To try to sell you at the highest Price point possible. right now, Ashley Furniture is getting ready. To end up like the other companies closing They're doors If They do not start makeing their money, so their doors will be Closing shortly as they're not making the profits they need. They go through salespeople like crazy. Because they're training only last a week or 2, they only pay them $10 per hour. And that is a draw against their commission; most sales associate makes only $400 weekly. And they work tons of hours with no support from the management and the corporate officers pushing for more cells and allowing—the managers to accept all online pricing. Within a year or two, bedframes break, and couchframes break the materials on their couches and chairs. The fabrics are cheap. They fade and tear and they rip. The bedroom sets are made out of subpar material, and the mattresses are made especially for Ashley because they are a cheap model that breaks down within Three to five Years. Inferior quality Management lies and tells you anything. You want to hear just to make a close. And they go through staff like a merry go round because the sales staff doesn't make enough money to work the hours and be treated like their children, and the managers take their paychecks away by always giving away their commissions to make corporate happy. But the managers make Their salary their commission on their cells and every salesperson In the store, including the guy in the white jacket. They use him to manipulate and tell you more lies because he's an expert. Yes, in deception and manipulation. I say no, walk by Ashley Furniture and go to a quality furniture store. Even if you have to spend a couple of 1000 dollars, it will be worth it in the long run. Because you're furniture now, we'll last for a year, not two or three—Ashley furniture furniture for. People that don't know quality. Or people that. I think they're buying a quality product Because they were brainwashed by either the Manager or the guy in the white coat. Do not fall for their scams, as they have 1000 complaints against them with The Better Business Bureau. I've had friends who purchased from Ashley Furniture; it was a couch set, and the framework Added a broker part, so he burned it in the bonfire. Then he went back inside and grabbed his table chairs because they wobbled the legs on the tables and the chairs were different lengths. I would say definitely no, too. Ashley furniture is like buying a Car out of a junkyard.

BRIEFLY, THE DELIVERY DATE WAS NOT MET. 1.)Salesman Paul said he would refund 50% (one half of $269.99) of white glove delivery due to lateness (one week). It's been almost 4 months and no credit has been received on my credit card. 2. Salesman Paul H. Has been contacted several times about construction flaws of table and recliner seat. He completely stopped communicating after a few text messages. NEITHER HE NOR THE STORE ADDRESSES PHONE CONTACTS. Ashley's apparently cuts you off if there is a problem. 2.)The table will not close tightly. Hence you can see floor if sitting in a position above seam. Also it will allow crumbs and debris to fall in seam. A REUND, REPAIR, EXCHANGE, OR SMALL PRICE ADJUSTMENT WAS OFFERED. I never heard from Paul again. I explained I could live with insufficient padding in seat of recliner by adding a pillow. IN closing, I cannot do business with a merchant who is inaccessible or flat out ignores you. And obviously, the store does not stand behind its products. MY NEW RATING IS 1 OUT OF 5. THE SALESMAN WAS NICE WHILE SHOPPING AND I LIKE THE APPEARANCE OF THE DINING SET AND RECLINER. After not finding it and he was giving up I asked can’t he look it up on their computer to see if it’s in the store which it was. The associate sales manager of this location, Paul Hoffman was rude and would not honor his words.. Wasn’t a pleasant experience visiting this store. Though the salesperson Jennifer tried to be helpful, I would not recommend shopping at this store because of that demeaning attitude shown by the sales manager. He demeans you for your choices/selection made. A regrettable visit.
I went in yesterday and seen Mark and purchased some stuff from him and then went right back in today and seen Brisa and purchased some stuff from her. They have an amazing team at the Orion Charter Township store and I 10/10 recommend this store for any of your home furnishing needs. Thanks Team!

Got everything I needed which is all that matters at the end of the day. Furniture is very nice and I’m excited for it to come. But took 2 hours from when we selected our furniture to get out of the store. I’ve bought cars faster than this. Employee didn’t know how to use the system. Nice guy, but someone should’ve taken over sooner. I wasted too much time on a Saturday afternoon for what should be a rather simple transaction. After we left we got a call saying they over charged us by $500 and we now have to schedule our own delivery. Total discombobulation. When you pay 10k for something, I expect organization and execution, not a free for all.
Really have to give 5 stars to my shopping experience. My sales associate, Barisa, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and worked to meet my needs! Now I am excited to have all of my new furniture delivered!

Bed delivered one month ago, missing parts. To this date, not yet assembled. Several items not yet delivered and date yet to be confirmed (but you need to be on top of them to hear news). One of the products were discontinued after included in our order..... Money not yet returned. Never buying there again.

First time in this store and likely the last. Not one person greeted me or asked if I needed help as I walked the entire store looking at multiple items. Pretty good selection of products, but I’ll visit the other furniture store around the corner. And no, the store was not packed this evening. Very disappointing.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This will go down as the worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed. We bought a full bedroom set with a brand new sealy king mattress. Low and behold the incompetent salesman failed to realize that the bed set we bought is not compatible with the mattress. We didn’t find this out until our delivery was made and the guys couldn’t set it up. We have contacted customer service a dozen times only to be told something completely different every time. We’ve also contacted the store and left Paul a voicemail regarding our concerns… and to no surprise no call back. We’ve had to re schedule our delivery 2x now because all of a sudden our bed set pieces are on back order. I’ve been requesting management to call me to discuss our situation for days and they still have not called. All in all terrible experience. Will never bring my business here again and will make sure everyone I know stays away EDIT*** After being told last week that our missing pieces were in and they were going to be delivered. I just received a phone call saying that our pieces were damaged and could not be delivered this week. The running joke continues!

Downside was that we received a 20% off coupon in the mail but when we decided to purchase they said the coupon didn't apply because our furniture had to be ordered. I felt like it was unfair because it wasn't our fault that they didn't have the set we wanted in their store.

Edit (October 2023) Don't spend your money here. I'm still waiting on a couch repair, as the repair tech has no-showed 3 times and on the 4th visit notified me that Ashley sent the wrong materials to repair. Now I'm waiting another 4-6 weeks for the materials and then scheduling 30+ days out for a repair tech in my area to be available. In total, the couch will take longer to repair than it was actually in my possession. The rep I've been in contact with, Maria with the company's Strike Escalation Team, has been absent, rude, and refused to further escalate my issues and quite literally told me "you're going to have to deal with it." In store management shrugged me off and said there's nothing they can do for me, but referred me to an Operations Division phone line. Per the number, their hours of operation are 8a-8p; it's 9:30a and they're still closed. I'd suspect this company is collapsing. I would avoid this furniture brand at all costs. They've done nothing remotely close to resembling help. (Originally posted August 2023) Not happy right now. Purchased a $2K couch 5 months ago and it’s tearing along the seams. I’ve called to request a warranty claim and replacement/repair two weeks ago and it’s been silence. Finally got somebody on the phone this morning and he can’t give me any idea of when it will be resolved, quite literally having said “I don’t know what to tell you.” Not only is this couch not even a half year from being purchased, I even bought the 5-year extended warranty. Is this how you treat your customers? Take my money and leave me high and dry?

We paid for the extended warranty on a kitchen table and now they are making us jump through a thousand hoops to get someone out to fix it even though we were told it would be covered and an easy process. Worst experience ever. I have been trying to purchase a book shelf for 2 months. Their system is always down. Computers are never working. Now after a month of asking for my money back I have to wait until their system goes back up to get my money. This don’t seem right to me!!! They may on any other year be the best furniture place but as of right now they are the Southwest Airlines of furniture places!!! Beware.
Customer service is a joke here. They’ll look you in the eye and guarantee delivery, product availability. Scheduled a delivery date in store and it never showed up. Try to call the store, Paul the manager or Tony the sales agent…no answer. Corporate tells you that you have to deal with the store directly if you order it in store. I have more rooms to furnish in my house and will not be back to Ashley. Competitors such as Gardener White had a timely delivery, and accurately told me what was in stock. Steer clear!

The Auburn Hills store was horrible when it was time for pick up. After informing me that my items were at that location, they sent my husband to a different location to pick up the furniture and of course it wasn’t there. They had him wait for hours at the warehouse just to tell him it was at the Auburn Hills location which was were he went first. Then refused any compensation for their mistake and didn’t even offer an apology. We missed a day of work going back and forth between the 2 locations.
Mark made my furniture shopping experience wonderful then Paul came to assist with the closing of the sale. I’m looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!!!

Fulfillment center has hung up on me after 30-45 mins hold times on the phone. No direct number to the store. Seems once the sale is made, they wash there hands of the customer.

I purchased a tv entertainment center from Ashley’s last year, no problems. I did buy the floor model and picked it up myself so maybe that explains it. The sales person was awesome. Fast forward to June 2023. Went in to find a sectional with a chaise. A small one due to space limitations. Met Tony, very nice and helpful. Found the perfect piece. Loved it. Couldn’t order it, their system was down. Filled out all the paperwork but couldn’t pay for it (thank goodness) due to their system being down. Went in 2 days later, system still down. No sales being made, no deliveries being made, even if you were scheduled for the Monday or Tuesday that their nation wide system went down, they couldn’t deliver your furniture. Went in on Friday, system still down. You can’t even call them as their phone system is tied to that same system. Now it’s a week later, no call from them (each sales person has a cell phone. That is how I communicated with the salesperson last year), no emails (which is how they said they would communicate with you. Send you an invoice via email to let you know system was up and working. After reading all the bad reviews about Ashley Furniture I was now getting a very bad gut feeling. That even if this sale ever did go through, what was the product going to be like, would it ever get delivered as promised. There is a website that only works with customers to help them through the process of getting your money back from Ashley’s. That is not a good sign. I just felt there were too many “signs” coming that this sale should not go through. Drove in AGAIN on the next Tuesday, system still down but they could now use a third party to help you get the order put in. No Thank You. This felt like a disaster waiting to happen. Ordered my furniture from Macy’s where all of my furniture has come from (with no issues ever over the 16 years I’ve ordered furniture from them.). Just further to drive to get to their store.
To be honest, I've dealt with horrible customer service before and have never left a review on Google IN MY LIFE. But, because of my experience with the Ashley Home Store in Orion Charter Township, I feel compelled to share. The customer service there is beyond horrendous! We purchased $7,000 worth of products and once we walked out of the front door everything went south. We explained that we just moved here from Colorado and needed these items asap. They assured me it would be fast deliver with white glove service but nothing could be further from the truth. The delivery was scheduled for 6/7/2023 and they provided an arrival window of 8-12. They didn't show up till nearly 4 o'clock, making us wait an entire day and blamed the delay on system issues. Yes, I understand things happen but to not call us to inform us of the issue is not ok. They said their phones were down but if their driver can call me from his cell phone the associates at the store can do the same. To make matters worse they delivered the wrong bed, they said the kitchen table from the set we ordered was damaged so they only delivered the chairs and no one could tell us when these items would be remedied. After numerous days of trying to get someone to call us I made a trip to the store to voice my frustration. The manager, Paul, took little to no responsibility for the lack of communication, the error in the items delivered and seemed to be upset that I was upset with how we've been treated. At that point I asked that the kitchen table and guest bedroom set be returned and refunded as they didn't make good on their end of the contract. The manger said, "NO! Once the items are delivered the transaction is final!" Well the items STILL haven't been delivered in full or correctly nor do I have any idea when they will be. I said I'd keep the couch for the basement because that's the ONLY item that was delivered per the contract but Paul was not willing to accept the return. I then asked if he would credit us for the service plan on the kitchen set, only $300 on a 7K order, and still he wasn't willing to work with us or accommodate us at all. So if you like terrible customer service, lack of communication and want to feel like you and your money is being held hostage go to this location where the experience is so bad it will make you laugh. I will be exploring options trough litigation as I believe they will continue to do this to people until someone finally says enough. Do yourself a favor and go to Gardner-White. I'm begging you, don't give these people your business, they don't care about their customers.
My husband and I have been to Ashley's twice now and couldn't be happier. The service and variety in this furniture store is exceptional, and surpasses any experience we've had anywhere else. The couch, ottoman, and bedroom set that we have is not only great quality, but also a good value for the price. Connor has helped us both times - his knowledge, expertise, and ability to make customers feel welcome is very impressive. You could talk to the guy all day. PS the addtional furnishings for interior decorating provide a wide variety of styles to choose from as well. We can't wait to go back!

Found what we were looking for, and got a great deal, but felt a little rushed throughout it. Certainly didn’t feel forced into our decision, however, I enjoy more of a we look around and test out, and be able to discuss with my partner type of deal, not a let me sprint you through the store and stay right next to you while you discuss your options. Our salesman promised we’d have our couch in 2 weeks, when we got our receipt (so after we paid) it stated 2-16 weeks for the couch. Just wish our salesman was more upfront. Our current couch has now fallen apart, and we’re without one because of the promise the salesman made us. We would have gone elsewhere had we known it’d be more than 2 weeks

Have been dealing with a refund since November and still haven’t received the full refund for our order. Have been on top of the store this week and calling everyday and everyone we talk to keeps passing the buck. Was told on Saturday that Spencer is the only one we need to talk to. Talked to Spencer today and he said Paul is the only one we can talk to. Last week we were promised several call backs with no returned calls. Today also talked to an Alex and when asking him what can we do to go higher up about this situation since online customer service says we have to deal with in store only since the order was done in the store, he responded with “don’t shop at Ashley anymore.”
We could not be happier with the professionalism, courtesy, and attention provided by our sales rep, Conner. We purchased a sectional sofa and a dining table with 6 chairs. Conner gave us all the space we requested, but when needed he was awesome. The store manager Paul was also incredible! You are blessed to have these fine gentlemen on your team. Fyi, I am VP of sales for a large company. I would hire both in a heartbeat! After shopping at Gardner White, Bob's and Value City, we knew Ashley's would be where we would spend our money. In a large part, this was due to Conner! If more than 5 stars were available, we would rate him a 10! Well done Conner and Paul.

The main reason for our positive reaction for our first encounter with this company was our sales associate Shane at the Lake Orion location on Baldwin Rd. I was interested in a particular piece and Shane went above and beyond to see that my purchase went smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend contacting Shane for any home interior needs from Ashley's Store. He is the main reason I would shop at this furniture store again for any future purchases.

I would give fewer stars if I could. I purchased a couch and coffee table from Ashley Furniture. The sectional had a sign displayed that read "Backordered". I asked our sales rep, Mark Spicer, about the inventory status of the couch, and explained that I do not want the couch if delivery times are exceeding 2 weeks. Mark, along with his colleagues, looked into their inventory system and told me it will arrive in 1 week. They lied. They went out of their way to lie, as delivery will not be for months. Mark will not return my calls and neither will their corporate office. Incredibly terrible customer service from anyone and everyone at this company. Avoid Ashley furniture at all costs, go across the street to great lakes and look at the Arhaus outlet.
Run! Do not buy from here! Ashley is a low quality, scam game. I recieved damaged furniture, paid the insurance and am going on a year of trying to get it fixed. I have had 3 service techs come out to my house. All 3 times they have shown me their report where they recomended a new table. Ashley support told me they didnt. Liars! I saw the reports. The table's seal was delivered damaged. I called customer service to follow up and every time my claim has been archived and I usually get hung up on at least once. 4th tech coming out this week. If this doesn't get resolved, I'm taking them to court. Run! Go anywhere but here! Orion's location is so unhelpful. Go somewhere else!

I thought I had come to a store with kind people selling good products. But turns out after I spent two hours in the store not one single person mentioned that there's no returns or exchanges, all sales are final. How does no one tell you that. Why isn't a sign posted? I was there for hours! It took me 3 days of runaround, two people in the store taking my number and never calling me back and then the store telling me to text the number that I just called instead of actually talking to a human. Don't shop here, it's a regret for me.

I went in to the Auburn hills Ashley store to look for a piece of porter funiture i wanted to match my set. I found it and also bought a recliner. Worked with Conner Ellis, sales rep. Great guy. My experience at this location was awful, the manager was unprofessional, rude and pushy to finalize the purchase on the same day. I bought most of my furniture from Ashley and I didn’t have this experience at the other locations. I think the staff and manager need training to learn how to deal with and respect customers.
We went in looking for a sectional. Connor helped us find exactly what we were looking for. He was very helpful and attentive to what we were asking for. We will definitely go back and will be asking for Connor. So my customer service was great while purchasing. Now I have taken delivery on 2/21/23 and there is damage on my couch. We call the store and they gave me a number to call. I called that number and they said they would get back to me soon. On the second day 2/22/23 I call the number again and they said I would need to call the store. I called the store at 10am and was told someone would call me in a half hour. At 1pm I called and was told the manager was busy but would call me back. At 2:10pm I finally spoke with a woman that said she was a manager. She gave me yet another number and said I could text it. I texted that number and have yet to hear anything. And it continues. Day 4. Someone finally responded through text. I explained the situation yet again. We went through all sorts of sending photos and answering questions only to have the person on the other end just stop responding. I suppose now I have to wait for the store to open at 10 and try calling again. Worst customer service experience yet.

The staff is really nice, the only thing I would like differently is not having pressure by staff to buy something. It’s nice to just look around and ask a staff member questions if needed.

Best experience working with Connor for our mattress. Zero pressure and although he greeted us when we came in, he reapproached us when he saw we had a question. So enjoyable to have that time to browse on our own for a while without feeling like a commission. Furniture shopping is like car shopping and we hate it, but we’ll be going back to purchase a sectional from Connor soon. Easy-going, very informed and laid-back sales agent and we couldn’t be more happier with the service we received. A couple other service reps we chatted with in between, too and they were funny and friendly too. Thank you for the great service, Connor and we’ll be seeing you again soon!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Yeah you get decent furniture for maybe a decent price but customer service is subpar! We moved from CT to MI living in a home with no furniture for a month now. I was told it would take 3 weeks for the sectional to come in and I got 2 end tables (one already damaged) and 1 piece of a 6 piece sectional. I was told EVERYTHING except the console would be at the warehouse the 25th and the console the 30th. Well I didn’t get my whole sectional (it’s the 27th) and I was informed that the stuff may be at the warehouse but it’s not ready to deliver? So they have my couch but they won’t deliver it for another week. I wish I would have saved the headache and payed better attention to their terrible reviews. Not to mention, when I called 3 different times and connected with 3 different people, 2 dropped the calls on me. Very frustrating to say the least.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have been given the run around for over 2 weeks with no help. I purchased a kitchen table with 6 chairs. The chairs rock on 3 legs. I bought 2 bar stools that the padding isn't attached on one of them. Every time you call they say someone will call you back within 24 hours. So aggravated.
Went to Ashley store on October 17, spoke to salesman, checked and purchased a bed and mattress explaining I needed delivery until the day of 10/24, He said no problem. Wrote on the order by hand that delivery had to be until 10/24. On 10/24 I waited the day for delivery, no one called me regarding the order. I called the salesman and he messaged me saying the delivery would be done on 10/29, which had me increase the length of a temporary accommodation, since I just moved. On 10/29 I waited the complete day for delivery called Ashley and the agent told me the delivery would be at earliest on 11/09 only thing she could do is cancel the order (and have me sleep where???). I went to the store to try and solve and no solution was given, only a bit more discount and free delivery. On 11/09 I had delivery booked between 12:15 and 15:15 and delivery time was not respected On 11/09 15h48 I called to ask delivery should be 15:15 and the agent said he could not help and I should call again the store. At 11/09 7 PM I called once again and no solution was given At 11/09 7:40 PM The delivery of the mattress was rescheduled for 11/10 The service is absolutely unacceptable and recommend you stay away from this store, my roommate bought his on US-Mattress and had no such issues.
Was promised delivery date 4 diff times, with no call to say it wasnt happening. Manager was clueless and told me 3 diff times different things then the next person.
If I could give negative stars, I would. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. The sales team come across as sleasy, desperate, snake-oil salesmen, but I purchased anyway, because I thought it was a good deal. I was told my order would be delivered after 10 days, but it wasn't. I received about a half a dozen notifications that my order was ready, but when I selected a date, I was told my order wasn't available. I called three times to cancel my order, but continued to receive notifications that my order was ready despite being canceled... then it was delivered anyway. In addition, the delivery team installed my adjustable base, AND BROKE MY EXISTING BED FRAME. This was November 18. It is now January 17, and I am still waiting for them to show up to fix it and/or compensate me for the damage. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I have never received such terrible service. For all of the furniture chains that have gone out of business, I cannot believe that this organization can still exist despite this horrible process, mediocre mobile app, atrocious customer service, and lack of response.

I have multiple past decent experiences with Ashley Furniture in Florida, Arizona, Texas, Missouri….. but stay away from this location in Orion Charter Township MI. Bottom line? HORRIBLE! Our purchase was made on Sept 16 2022 as a house warming gift for our daughter. We made sure to ONLY order merchandise that was not on back order and was available for reasonable delivery….the salesman Cam assured us what we ordered was in stock so the order was placed and paid in full for a living room and bedroom set. Delivery was set for mid October. Here we are in January 2023 and despite over 20 phone calls, missed delivery dates, the order still has not been completed. We have parts of a bedroom and parts of a living room. Which is useless. You want frustration? Try talking with Spencer, Karen, Ashley (yes, Ashley) and Cam. If they return a call it is useless. Want further frustration? Call corporate and try to bring them up to speed. If you do not get disconnected you will not have your situation resolved. Spencer is the worst of the bunch. He has only need around seven weeks and although a soft voice on the phone, he is a train wreck for results ………and somehow he is the one handling the “resolution”! Tonight when I called him I mentioned I had to dispute the credit card charge since I lose the opportunity to dispute in two days (118 days from the purchase). He took that for some reason as a legal threat and told me to call “legal” then hung up the phone. Spineless. (If I cared thought Spencer would still be working there next week I might care, it given the turnover rate at this location he won’t be handling this resolution for long anyway….just like Karen before him). Skyler? She will never pick up the call or return a message. So, if your buy here the order better be perfect from there start or you will have more aggravation than you deserve. Absolutely the worst furniture buying experience of my life.
I purchased a sectional back in April of 2022. I am now on my 4th or 5th delivery. I paid for the white glove service AND protection of my sectional. Every time it is delivered it is dirty (hand prints or dirty scuff marks everywhere, wood frame is broken or a slash in the fabric, cup holders on the ottoman broken. The sectional is now on sale for half the price I paid. They also damaged my front door (which was just painted professionally) and they are denying the claim and won’t fix it! Let alone the delivery men that did the damage said they reported it, but did not. I asked during every delivery if they could come through a huge sliding glass door, but every delivery they refused and decided it was better to stuff and jam it through my front door. I have been so patient and kind. They finally found miscellaneous pieces laying around in warehouses and scheduled the delivery without my consent for Tuesday! My husband and I both work. We can not take another day off for a delivery- one time the delivery was scheduled (we took the day off) and no one showed up! I can’t get in touch with anyone to reschedule- not even the store! I have also emailed twice. I spent countless hours dealing with this. When I spoke with the office manager I told him this date would not work. He said when they contacted me I could reschedule. What?!? Why not reschedule now when I have you on the phone. When I call the automated service they just run me in circles. I’ve replied “no” for the delivery date and they keep sending me texts and emails to confirm the delivery. I want my money back and will never shop or recommend Ashley furniture to anyone.
We had a really good experience picking a couch here. Ahmed was very friendly and seemed like he genuinely wanted to help us.
Update: contacted the below customer service. They made me send in pictures, and I still have to wait until they contact me with no time frame. Please, please, PLEASE don't buy your furniture here. They don't know what they are doing and have zero interest in customer service. Ordered 3 pieces of furniture and 2 showed up damaged. Placed a call in for service on 12/17/22 and as of 1/5/23 haven't heard back. Called in today to be told "they're behind and no idea when they'll contact you." So I'm supposed to have damaged furniture with no resolution in sight? ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't buy furniture here. Go to Bob's across the street. Edit: Waited 20 minutes on the phone to speak with a customer service manager and was told "she's not available" and then when I insisted I needed to speak to her, she screamed at me and told me "it was my responsibility not to accept damaged furniture." And ultimately didn't help any more than "well call when we can." Uhm, what?! How about it was your company's responsibility first and foremost to NOT PUT DAMAGED ITEMS ON THE TRUCK FOR DELIVERY. Sorry I didn't think I needed to examine my brand new furniture. Also if the service department is currently running a month behind think of how much damaged furniture they've delivered. Don't buy it here.

Ordered once, and have had horrible experience with everything over all. Took me 3 months and 8 delivery’s to get a bed set with a dresser, quite ridiculous and horrible.
Ashley is the worse furniture store, bad quality and bad customer service. I purchased furniture from Ashley and within a year those furniture were damaged and the extended warranty didn’t want to cover and Ashley customer service didn’t want to fix my furniture so I contacted BBB and finally Ashley gave me an option to select new furniture. So I went to Ashley store in Orion twp selected and new furniture on 12/9 and I’m still waiting on the store to finalize my order and to give me the credit with the remaining balance today is 12/28. The store never answer their call and once the answer the take my information and say a manager will call you back but off course they never do. They have the worse customer service. I don’t recommend Ashley at all especially Orion twp & Madison heights stores

Please do not buy furniture from here, it is not worth the headache or the money! The first disappointment was us being told that our furniture was no longer coming when we expected it, but two weeks later and that a piece of our sectional was not ready yet. So they could deliver the whole couch but one piece. I asked for money back at that time due to it being around thanksgiving and we had people coming over with now no where to sit. They gave me back the $300 delivery fee and we called it good. When our sectional arrived, they brought the piece that was supposedly not ready yet, but in the wrong color and LEFT IT IN MY BASEMENT because “their truck was too full with other delivery’s, they couldn’t take it”. The delivery people made notes in their system to reflect the wrong color piece. Upon further inspection that day,I am convinced they delivered a store model to me. The couch has tears, stains, dents - like hundreds of people have touched and moved it. The ottoman is completely stained on one side, again, like a store model or like they sat it in water somehow. All your sales person (Ahmed at this location) will tell you to do is call costumer service because “there’s nothing they can do” where they told me weeks ago they would send someone out to clean/mark for replacement the sectional. Shocker, they never called. And that they don’t know where my correct piece to the sectional is. They also would not offer me any more of a refund because I “already received the delivery fee as a refund, that’s all we can do”. This is the biggest joke of a company, and we are going to be disputing the charge on our credit card if it is not fixed by 1/5/23. We ordered this couch back in September/October, it’s the end of the year. I hated every part of buying furniture from them and look at the reviews, I bet you will too.

WARNING!!! Do not shop here!!! I wish I could give you zero stars. We had a horrible experience the last time we bought a couch here, but after receiving all of the notifications and mailings regarding special financing, we thought we would give you another chance. We came in on Nov 19, 2022 to purchase furniture. This has been a nightmare. First we were told you would honor online pricing with the special financing. Then we were contacted days later saying you couldn't honor the financing with the "discounts" we received. We did not receive discounts, they matched the online prices. We were told they would still honor this. Dec 1st we get a call saying our items would be delivered Dec 8th. We removed the items we were replacing. No one showed up. I called to see when they were coming, and they said they had no record of contacting me. So, we've had no couch, and my 11 yr old has been sleeping on the floor because her bed was one of the items we were replacing. I contacted the store, I was told by our salesperson we would be receiving the items around Dec 13th when they were back in stock. Dec 16th, I contacted the store and my salesperson, only to have to go into the location to speak with someone, because no one returned my call. The CSR was wonderful, the sales manager, Paul, was awful. He stood several feet away from us with other sales people watching and listening to our complaints and never intervened. He helped process our initial order, so you would think he would get involved. I finally had to say something to him and only then did he get involved. He was EXTREMELY RUDE. He told us he would just cancel the order. We told him we just wanted our furniture. He said it wasn't going to be in until mid January 2023 now. Due to the additional delay in delivery, we told him to just cancel it. We asked for proof it was canceled. He said they can't provide that. After much persistence, he gave us an invoice w/ canceled and his initials written on the page. The CSR had contacted the district manager, and was waiting for a call back. I asked the CSR just to have the DM call me directly so I could discuss the treatment we received and Paul loudly just stated "NO". When he gave us our "canceled invoice" he told us to "GET OUT". At that point, I did say some harsh things, as his behavior and treatment of a customer was atrocious. Then, I get into my Synchrony account today, and there are 3 pending charges!!!! One on the day we purchased it. On Dec 13th, there was another charge that was $420 more and it didn't include the protection plan. The third charge was Dec 16th when Paul told me he canceled the order, and this charge was the same as the last ($420 more without the protection plan). Please take your money elsewhere.

Paul the manager and his incompetent worker Khabir Sims truly raised my blood pressure from the entire sales experience. I wish I could have listened to the horrible reviews before going to this store but wow. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They are liars and will not disclose certain things to you during your sales process BEWARE! The stores only goal is to make a deal, lie about when the item will be available and don’t own up to their mistakes. They told us the item is available within 1 week. After 2 months I just received the box today with more horrible news. In addition to the LONG delay, they just dropped off the box and wanted to leave it outside while it’s cold and snowing because of a major mistake the sales rep made. They did not disclose the 2 different delivery options (white glove which is set up and doorstep delivery). The sales rep LIED TO US AND THE SALES MANAGER ABOUT IT AND THEY ARE NOT OWNING UP TO THEIR MISTAKES. I live by myself and cannot lift heavy boxes. I would have paid for white glove delivery if it was disclosed to me UPFRONT. I tried talking to PAUL THE MANAGER ABOUT IT AND HE SAID THE SALES ASSOCIATE TOLD US BUT HE DID NOT otherwise I would not be making this post. I would have paid for white glove but again it was NEVER DISCLOSED! It’s in the sales rep to ensure how the items will be delivered so this was their major mistake. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONESTY!! TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS!

Honestly this place was so bizarre. We walk in and are immediately greeted with two employees sitting on a sectional, talking about what they’re watching on Netflix currently and flirting. This guy helped us though and he was fine, a little pushy but whatever. We start walking around the store, find something we like but keep browsing just in case. There’s a guy laying on a couch watching something on his phone, picking his nose, feet up. I seriously do wish I was kidding or exaggerating. I thought he was a customer. Nope. 10-15 mins later he gets up, puts his headset on and starts “working”. Aka just walking around in circles with the other employees. I honestly only saw one lady actually working, she was putting up display signs by herself. I was so grossed out by the kid laying on the couch that I didn’t even want to bother with the place anymore. We were unsure about the sectional we liked anyway and wanted to shop around more, but the lack of awareness and so many employees just lounging on the furniture, not acknowledging you when you walk by, was super weird. One of the kids was also heckling another customer that came in by calling after her and her husband as they walked out the door. We came in on a Thursday around 6/7pm. Maybe it’s better during the day or on weekends? Idk, the whole experience was honestly just really uncomfortable and off putting.
End table was damaged when I picked up from warehouse in Warren. No response back. Not to thrilled with customer service support.

Ordered a bedroom set on June 7th. Ashley delivered a partial order early December. Yes, that is 6 full months that Ashley had my money and I did not have furniture. When they finally did deliver, parts were missing. Had to move furniture back into the room. I have now moved furniture in and out of the bedroom twice. Customer service is a JOKE. Tried to call the store several times and nobody answered. Called the delivery number and they were less than useless. Still do not have my full order. Communication is awful.
Walk in and Cory meet us at the door and he greeted us with a big smile and he made a nice impression. We joke around through our whole time there and we had a fun. Long story we ended up buying a sofa. And the big cheese Paul was awesome also.
It was my first time in an Ashley Homestore and it was a great experience, in large part due to the young salesman that helped me, Conner. I was in a hurry so Conner took my number and got back to me via text on all the information I needed. He put up with my crazy work schedule and even helped me out with the best pricing. I will definitely be back and I will be asking for Conner. :)

Just don’t deal with Karen Philipski/Filipski. Horrible customer service. Told us “I’m not an accountant” when we asked her to please add up our incorrect refund amount. We asked to speak to a manager and she said nobody was in and that we would need to call online customer service. We explained that we called online already over 10 times and they told us to call in store and Karen hung up on us as we were still talking. We called back and asked a different sales person if we could speak to a manager, and they said 3 managers were in and could definitely give us a call back.
Very pleasant experience shopping here, Connor was very helpful deciding on our selection, even moving chairs around the showroom to see if they worked with a sofa we were interested in. Was a little disappointed that they only had one option of fabric for the chair’s, I would recommend checking them out if in the market for furniture.

Update to my comment, its more than 2 months the issues are not resolved. Please don't buy from this store and from Ashley. I don't have 0 STAR to give them. Until you buy the items they will be the nicest person in the world. Once the items are purchased and delivered with defect and missing delivery they will be like talk to customer care. The customer Care don't understand what we say and the issues will be never resolved. I bought all new furniture's for the new home, now nothing is delivered correct and things delivered is all with issues and i have to spend 2 hours daily to do the follow up. Please dont prefer this store or any Ashley stores Please don't waste your time and your money and your health by stressing

She took a lot of time with me helping me to make the right decisions on color, quality, and design of my living room furniture and next bedroom furniture. She really went the extra mile and I am thrilled with the genuineness and her customer service.
Terrible experience. My sales guy was great but after that nothing went right. Months of no call no shows for delivery dates, and no answers or compensation. Finally cancelled the order and got a better less expensive couch elsewhere that delivered the next day.
We had two really good experiences whilst shopping for a new couch, all the sales staff that we encountered were really helpful and pleasant.
Buyer beware! I wish I would have done my research prior to buying a $4000 couch from them and seen all the horrible reviews. Below is a picture of a partial couch we received from them, we have only had the couch for 4 weeks and the fabric is fraying and falling apart. We were told at time of purchase that the order would be delivered in full, we are missing both end pieces to our couch and it has been a nightmare dealing with anyone in customer service. We still do not have pieces to complete the couch and at this point we want to return everything due to the poor quality of the furniture. We were told that was not an option since we took delivery on a partial order. I will never give this company another penny. This is the worst piece of furniture I have ever bought from anywhere, lessoned learned for sure.

We purchased a mattress from Ashley. It took longer then expected to get here. Then once here we realized it was too soft. Even though they repeatedly told us we had 90 days to decide if we really liked the mattress they would not take it back. In fact they would not work with us at all and just said ‘too bad.’
They just want your money. By far the worst customer service ever. Zero communication after the sale. Also, they have owed me a $550 refund for 4 weeks now and I keep being told its coming and now just ignored. Mark Spicer was my sales rep and has terrible customer service. Edit: Escalation team did absolutely nothing. 0 stars.

Very pleasant experience purchasing our new living room furniture. Just the right amount of interaction with our sales representative to make sure everything went well. I will be going back again for our next future purchase. Update, our furniture didn’t arrive as promised, nor did we receive a call to let us know of the delay, we only found out because we called to inquire about a delivery time and we’re informed there was going to be a several week delay. This is why I’ve lowered the rating from 5 to 4 stars!

This has been a major stressor in mine and my husband's life. We purchased a bedroom set and sofa for our apartment in March of this year and were told because of COVID, it'd take 12-16 weeks to make and ship. We were understanding and waited patiently for the items to get to us. The problems really began once they shipped. The bed came without legs and nuts for the slat and took 3 weeks and three separate visits to assemble. On the third attempt, they dropped the legs off outside our door and no one came to put it together. What's worse is, now we have the legs but they haven't sent the screws for the slats and so after a month with the bed half assembled, we still can't lay in it. To make matters worse, contacting CS is a nightmare. The phone rings and they answer (after a long hold) and hang up without saying anything so you have to go through the long wait again and when you do get a hold of someone, they have no answers to give. And don't think you'll get any assistance in store because that is not the case. I hope and pray to God that once everything is put together (hopefully before I die!), we won't ever have to call with an issue because this service is a joke!

Needed a mattress right away. Pat was so helpful in walking us through the store and checking the availability of each mattress. We still couldn't find one that fit our time frame until the store manager, Paul, worked his magic. We were able to get a mattress THAT DAY thanks to these two! They even loaded it into our truck for us so we could take it home. Pat and Paul were the absolute best and worked to get us what we needed. Highly recommend this store because of Pat and Paul. Dont buy from ashley furniture, i bought a whole set worth over $5k and theres damaged parts, manufacturer errors, and customer service does nothing to help. Absolutely terrible experience would never recommend buying from here, save your time and money, go somehwere else. If i could give 0 stars I would.
The sales team is typical. They withhold loads of important information from you so they get a sale. When I paid for the sectional in the store they said the soonest they could get it to me was 3 weeks from then. 3 weeks goes by and I took the day off work to be home for it’s set up. I got no call,text,email,voicemail. NOTHING, they just plain and simple chose not to give me the $3500 couch I just barely paid for. Never knocked on my door even. So I drove up to the store in person, and they tell me the soonest the could get it for me is another 2 1/2 WEEKS!!!!!!!Just super super disrespectful, super aggravated by the incompetence of they’re delivery drivers or whoever’s error it was. in my opinion. I have tried calling the store and I get put on hold for over an hour. Honestly,I could go on and on about the other things that made me hate this store I sincerely hope people read this and find it helpful.
Ordered a Dining table with 4 chairs and bench. The ordered arrived late by 1.5 months( Est delivery was Mid June but actual delivery happened end of July). The bench arrived damaged, we tried to call the customer care, we requested a call back after waiting for 30 mins. The call back never came. The delay in the delivery is understandable but the customer care service is pathetic. So we took the bench to the store to return it. They said that they don't accept returns and gave an email to mail the details. We haven't got any response from them after the sending the e-mail as well. Overall their products are okay but their customer service is one of the worst.
Paul and Patrick were great at the Orion Township location! They helped us find a mattress that fit our taste, fit our budget and we could take immediately! They even loaded up the mattress for us! We’ll be back!

I will never ever do business here again I have been dealing with very rude people at the store manager including I ordered Furniture in March came damaged So I went into the store that day and spent another $2000 for a better set it arrived on April 15 they picked up the damage stuff that I had held for a month now they’re charging me for both orders They keep telling me it was an exchange I’m fighting with the credit card company to get it resolved no luck from the store like the credit card company said it’s up to the store to issue the credit because they received the merchandise back Went back into the store again today spoke with the manager and supposedly office manager very rude trying to get resolution this has been going on for almost 4 months I can’t get any corporate phone numbers their bosses Names not to mention my second order came in damaged this is just been the worst customer service I’ve ever seen I will never ever do business with this company again
The delivery guys were the best!! We ordered our kitchen table/chairs 2/5/21 and delivered 7/9/21. We were not given any updates during the wait. The original expected delivery was beginning to late May. So disappointing that I had to call a couple times to inquire. But do love the table and chairs.
The manager, Skylar, resolved some concerns I had with my furniture order and she did a great job doing it. I was missing some of my order and she checked the warehouse to find out if the system had been updated. Since it hadn’t, she is going to check it tomorrow and call me with an update. She also placed an order for a dinning room table that was missing from my order and arrange delivery in less than 2 weeks. Overall I’m very satisfied with my experience and I have to say it was a great customer service experience for me.

Purchased a couch in June 2022. After finally getting the couch in Nov 2022 after 5 weeks the material started pilling and looks horrible. After many attempts with customer service and even going to the store they will not work with us. The response is it’s just the fabric. My couch of 12 years looks better. Don’t buy from Ashley!!

Although I did leave with a new couch, I almost left without one. The employee that approached me and my boyfriend initially was not helpful, I showed her a specific sectional sofa with a chaise that I found online and wanted to see if they had it in store and that we specifically were looking for a sectional sofa’s 120in or under. She processed to show us a power recliner chair and after that was wanting to take us to the mattresses…. (because they were on sale). I told her we we’re just going to look around and I would find her if we needed anything… Well I ended up finding the couch I came in to see, she was lingering around and came over to tell us there is another color. Which I already know because this was the couch I came to see…. I felt she was unaware of inventory and only wanted to show us what “she liked” as she mentioned to us several times. I work in sales so I know how customers should be treated. If it wasn’t for a Paul who stepped in and did everything I would have left without a couch. He was very professional and gave me the information I was actually asking for. Had I met with him first I would have given a 5 star.

The Ashley Homestore in Lake Orion, MI is such a joke. The sales people will tell you what you want to hear just to get the sale. Once they have your sale the manager comes in and tells you what they said is not correct and the discounts the sales people offer don’t even apply. However once you decide to cancel your order all of a sudden they can offer you a discount. They sell you products that the delivery people can’t even set up because they don’t sell you correct items. You call the store on a Saturday at 11:00 and you can’t talk to anyone because they are in a sales meeting. Who has a sales meeting at 11:00 on a Saturday morning. The person Karen who answers the phone is extremely rude and doesn’t care about the customers. If we weren’t in the middle of this order I would cancel the whole thing and shop elsewhere.
Khabir was very friendly and answered all the questions we had in regards to the furniture we were looking at. Went back home to take final measurements and called back to place order. He confirmed pricing for us over the phone and estimated delivery. Came back in to pay, no last minute surprised to final price after what we discussed over phone and the estimated delivery date provided was exact, couldn't ask for anything more service wise. Would highly recommend, sitting on our awesome new sofa now as I type this review. Delivery service was very good as well, in a out quick with no mess.
6/19/2022: I had a very good customer service today in my purchase at Ashely’s Lake Orion Location. This is my first purchase at Ashley’s store so I hope the quality justify the price paid in my The Man Den Sofa. Thanks for Pat and Paul. 8/25/2022: revising completely my review from the time I purchased the sofa and today, first, I still don’t have received the sofa, Ashley called us for pick-up and we drove from Kalamazoo to Romulus for pick-up and surprise, the sofa was not there. Went to the store talked to Paul and he changed the order from pickup in the warehouse to delivered. After waiting for months, I received a call stating that they don’t delivery to Kalamazoo after my discussions and agreement with the Manager. I’m cancelling the order, will never buy from this store, communication between store and warehouse is non existing, customer service is terrible, etc. when discussing the issue with Lindsey she mentioned that she worked for Gardner White (Which I don’t care) and not sure about the processes at Ashley even being a manager at Ashley. No more spending timing with a store that don’t honor agreements.
Its the best in town. Hands down ashleys homestore has all what you need when it comes to home and furniture. Plus they have amazingly good deals for everything

Avoid buying from here AT ALL COSTS. This has been quite possibly the worst and most frustrating customer service I've ever experienced, and that's saying something. Everyone is pleasant, but NOTHING has been done to resolve 2 issues that occurred in October (see pics below of missing drawers and broken side rail). I understand that there are supply chain issues, but this involves blatant lying to the customer and clearly extends beyond delivery issues. I have called basically everyone who works at this company (at least 10 customer service calls, calls to the store, managers, etc) and even drove 30 mins to go into the store we bought it from to resolve our issue, and they continue to disappoint. I bought a bed (including White Glove delivery and a 5 year warranty) last August which arrived with broken drawers. The guys who built it obviously didn't want to put in broken drawers and instructed us to call and get them on order, which is fine. Fast forward to now and we have been promised the drawers multiple times, including confirmation numbers and everything, and they have never arrived. Since then the bed has broken because of the lack of drawers to support, and they refuse to fix it until the drawers come in despite having purchased the warranty. I have gotten the personal contact information for the store manager and tried to reach him multiple times to get this incredibly frustrating issue resolved to no avail. Save yourself the pain I experienced and do not buy from here. They'll take your money no problem, but good luck if there's anything wrong with your order. They don't care if you're sleeping on a broken bed, they got what they wanted. My bed has NEVER been fully assembled 7 months after buying the piece WITH a 5 year warranty AND White Glove Service (what a joke). DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: This has been a truly traumatizing experience, I cannot explain how terribly we have been treated. Their customer service is, again, the worst I've ever experienced. The manager acts like he can't do anything, and if he truly can't after everything we've been through then there's no point to him even being there. They could change him out easily with a kid who flips burgers, tell him to say no to everyone, and save the money. Ordered on 9/26/21, still not properly assembled as of 5/5/23. These leaches do not deserve a cent of your hard-earned money, so save yourself the money and pain and shop anywhere else.

Wish I could offer 0 stars. Went in multiple times looking to furnish my house and every time I either couldn’t get someone to help me, or would be talked down upon. (One of the times I was literally the first person in the store in the morning and still couldn’t be helped). Other stores have already gotten my business. Ashley employees will also talk down on every other furniture store saying that Ashley is cheaper and quicker than competitors. I got a good chuckle out of that one.

I would avoid Ashley furniture you definitely get what you pay for which unfortunately we are learning the hard way. I had two chairs delivered one with a hole and then both of them when you sit in it you feel like you’re going to fall forward out of it. They were supposed to send fabric out to fix the one chair which they never did because they put the order on the wrong piece of furniture. They will not return our money since we let them come in the house. we are waiting to get replacements which has been months. So it’s worth extra money to buy a good name brand with good customer service from a better store. Not to mention the turnover rate of employees in the store is ridiculous and I had one of the employees tell me that the company itself treats her employees horrible.

Sep -2021 - order placed for dining set, mid feb - 2022 - delivery estimated , 22nd april 2022 - got text and email confirmation of delivery date and time, and today(23rd april) i was informed , wait for a month more as they messed up some paper work , This place works like a scam, Seven months of wait and still they dont know when they can deliver their committed product. Do not buy anything here . This is the worst place for customer service , they absolutely dont care about anything , if you make them accountable, immediate response- you can cancel your order and we dont care , you get constantly ping ponged between multiple teams for delay , Horrible buying experience , stay away and buy somewhere else !
DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS JUNK! Terrible quality and customer service. Our $4,000 couches wore out in the back within 6 months and they would not warranty them. We were told this is normal wear and tear. We placed a order for two couches and a wood cabinet. When the furniture arrived it was the wrong color and the cabinet was broken. it took months to get the second delivery. The second delivery did not come with the pegs to hold up our shelves. We were told they would send them to us and they never did. we had to but them ourselves. When we contacted Ashley Furniture they sent a third party furniture repair man to inspect the couches. The repair man told us he would order the parts that we needed to be replaced. Later that day we received a call that it was not a warranty repair because it is normal wear. We talked to a supervisor who denied our warranty claim. We requested a call from his manager and was told we would receive a call within 48 to 72 hours. No one called so we called back. The told us we just have to wait and also said this is not covered like the last supervisor told us.

Most furniture on backorder(from 6 to 16 months), 99% of it is white(no color choices) overpriced compared to other stores for same brands.
Store ordered the wrong couch except for one piece and furniture delivered has obvious broken frame. We had to argue with the warehouse to keep what was delivered since we already got rid of our old furniture. Sales guy has told me twice a manager would call with no call. Once they have your money they don’t care, do not shop here.

Stay Away from Ashley Furniture! Bought a couch and matching ottoman. Within 5 weeks all seating material started to frey and pill. See the picture. I contacted Ashley Furniture and have been working with them for months on a resolution. They opted to do nothing other than recommend I purchase a fabric pill shaver. Bad products happen but bad customer service is part is the company culture. Too many good furniture companies to risk this happening to you.

I purchased a couch less than a year ago. Before the year anniversary of the purchase, the entire frame of the couch cracked when a "normal" sized person sat down. The one year warranty states that they cover normal household usage and will replace parts of equal value if a replacement can't be done. After multiple calls from not only Ashley, but the additional warranty protection plan they offer through another company, and not one, but two service technician appointments canceled, I would have to pay an estimated $250 to fix my broken couch that I paid about $470 for. Worst customer service ever. Completely disappointed and dissatisfied.
What a great experience at Ashley Furniture. They had so many sectionals on display that we liked. Amber was awesome and took so much time with us answering all our questions and helping with measurements. We also looked at mattresses and Sharon took a lot of time with us and helped us figure out what we needed with some mattress demonstrations and information to help us pick out the right mattress for us.

Our salesperson DeVante was very friendly and not high pressure at all. Selection of power reclining sofas was good and a lot were in stock for quick delivery. Our end table is not in stock and we were told all wood products take months to be delivered right now. While not Ashley’s fault, it is very frustrating to get a sofa in a week but the end table takes 4 months. The manager was high pressure on upgrading delivery fees and pushed warranties which made us question the quality of what we bought. We hate all the whispering between salespeople and managers - it makes you feel like they either don’t know what they are doing or they are being shady.
Found exactly what I was looking for at a great price. Skylar was extremely helpful.

Mark was our salesman tonight. He was very pleasant and let us take time wondering around looking at things without hovering over us. we all know how that can be at other furniture stores. He did, however, stand at his work station as I looked around. That way I always knew where he was. He saved me from almost buying a dining room console that would have ultimately clashed with our new dinning room set. He nicely pointed out his thoughts as to why that console table wouldn’t make a good pair to our dinning room set. He was able to help us find the right one quickly. We didn’t experience any high sell tactics about adding warranties or other more expensive pieces. The quality of all the furniture seems to be of high standards. Well put together in the store so customers can obviously see that what they are buying had quality.

Update 1/28 I paid for white glove delivery and my bed still not put together bc Ashley furniture stated they do not have an estimated date for the screws to the bed that was delivered on 1/6. So now I have a bed frame that is unsafe to sleep on bc they shipped a bed that did not have all the supplies to make the bed. I should have went to Gardner White and I can’t even pick out anther bed because the ones I want is on backorder 8-14 wks. Throw the whole furniture store away. I recently purchased a bed frame and mattress from them on 1/6. I paid for delivery setup, first time they came they had the wrong slacks for the bed. So I had to call to reschedule for delivery to come back. Two days later they came back with the right size slacks. But guess what, they had the wrong screws to secure the slacks. I didn’t get upset I said ok they will come back tomorrow with the screws no biggie. Two days went buy no Ashley furniture my daughter bed still not setup. I called them and they said oh it will be three weeks for the screws to be available. Omfg I will never purchase from this furniture store again. It’s 1/13 and bed still waiting to be put together. UPDATE THEY SENT THE WRONG SCREWS TO MY PLACE AGAIN. MY BED IS STILL NOT PUT TOGETHER ALL THEY OFFERED ME WAS $40 DOLLARS. I PAID FOR SHIPPING AND TO PUT BED TOGETHER. THE ENTIRE STAFF I DEALT WITH HAVE NONCHALANT ATTITUDE ABOUT MY ISSUE. I LOOKED ON THEIR WEBSITE FOR AN EXCHANGE BUT EVERY BED IS ON BACKORDER FOR 8-14 WEEKS. I LITERALLY HATE ASHLEY FURNITURE IN LAKE ORION. I WANT A FULL REFUND ILL JUST GO TO ANOTHER FURNITURE FOR A BED. Today is 1/22 NO BED PUT TOGETHER.

If I could give zero starts I would. I ordered my furniture in July, it is now December and I still haven’t received half of it. When I originally ordered everything, I was told I would have all my furniture within 3 weeks. Every time they give me a delivery date, they change it the day before. The table I bought was assembled wrong and I’ve put in 4 different service requests to have it repaired because it keep breaking and has injured guests, but every time I call to inquire about the status of my service order, the representative says I never put in a service order. The representatives don’t know what they’re talking about, and they don’t leave notes on your file about the conversations you’ve had, so every time you call you have to explain everything all over again. I had to change the delivery address for one of my items because they took too long to deliver it and I had already moved. After trying to schedule this delivery for 3 months, I finally got it schedule but they tried to deliver it to my old address, even though I called at least 4 times to confirm the address change and the confirmation email they sent me had my new address. Today, in December, they finally came to deliver the rest of my order, but they only brought half the item! Do not order from Ashley’s. The issue is with their corporate and delivery team, so you will have this issue no matter which location you order from.

Never order from this store. This has got to be the worst experience ever. They delivered a bed with a bedbug and I returned it back to them. They don’t answer the phone. How are you gonna be a whole business and don’t answer the phone?! All I want is my refund back and that’s it. I will gladly take my business and money to Value City Furniture where things are quality and professional.

This location has the worse delivery team ever, they left my bed uninstalled and made it seem like they would send someone one back with the hardware necessary and DID NOT GET DONE. My mirror to my dresser was never ordered to begin with when I clearly wanted to order the whole dresser!! Overall time waited 2 months for the team to just leave the bed uninstalled and have to continue to wait… horrible experience for me being a first time customer and last!

UPDATE 12/20: Moving down to one star. Our mattress was delivered damaged, they promised to deliver the replacement within a week. After canceling on us THREE SEPERATE TIMES, we are still waiting for a replacement mattress (it's been a month). Astonishing how terrible this experience has been. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 12/8: As much as I hate to do this, I had to update this review based on our horrendous experience with your delivery warehouse. Of the three pieces of the bed set that came on Friday, only ONE piece wasn't damaged. We have called support 4-5 times now in which they have hung up on us twice & three other times have been told they will call back & never did. FINALLY today we were able to get through and schedule a tentative date for delivery of items that I've already been charged for. Note: WE had to do all the legwork here even after being told THEY would call us within 48 hours. I understand a lot of what happens with the warehouse is out of your control but there NEEDS to be a better system to help remedy this. I've tried to reach out to your location specifically as well throughout all of this and have had no luck. Make sure to ask about shipping delays, we ordered our couch in July and it was delayed again until December. Oh, and no one informs you of the delay you have to figure it out on your own. We've been trying to cancel our bed frame that won't be in until February, and they still haven't despite multiple requests.

Updated Review The delivery team will probably take down this company. They were unable to deliver our furniture after a very limited effort. Communication between corporate, the delivery service and the store is all mixed up and made for a awful experience that wasted a lot of my time and resulted in us not receiving a couch. The 2 stars is only because the employees at the store were great. Everything else about our experience was terrible and time wasting. Initial Review - My wife and I went to purchase a new couch. We appreciated the large selection the Ashley home store had and the sales approach was not overly pushy. We will shop here again!
Update: 3 weeks after my original post: My delivery was scheduled for the wrong day AGAIN.This is the 4th time they have screwed up my delivery! I waited 18 weeks for a sectional that was supposed to take 8 to 12 weeks. I did not receive any communication about it running late. It is finally in stock. They have canceled 2 deliveries because of errors on their end. It was finally delivered yesterday, but they pulled the wrong items from the warehouse. I went to the store and they told me it would be another 3 weeks before I could have it delivered eventhough my items are at the warehouse.
Had an alright buying experience, the employees seemed bored and wanted to talk too much but otherwise I would say it was fine. We bought a floor model table so we had to pick it up ourselves. After inquiring several times how to pick it up and getting the same answer of "I will wrap it up real good and put it in the back" we figured out that we just walk in and ask for it. A few days later we walk in and ask for it, expecting it to be "wrapped up real good and put in the back." The desk girl couldn't figure out what to do, so an old lady manager had to come out and school her. She found our table that we had just bought still in the exact same place, out on the floor with the price tag still on it. The store was unable to provide a dolly to move the table, so while all the men in the store spent their time flirting with the desk girl, my husband and the old lady carried the table through the entire store and out the front door. Wow wow wowzah, what a terrible way to run a business. Thank you old lady manager, though! Probably won't go back here, there are several other furniture stores nearby.
Very upset spent around 2,000$ on a table set real solid wood and now the table is lifting and it’s making squeaky noise while we are eating I’m very disappointed I even called to see what we can do about it they said our 1 year warranty is over , it was just little over a year and when the sales person was selling is this table made it seem like we don’t even need the 5 year warranty said sold wood nothing will happen to it and now look what’s going on I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
Disappointed the company doesn't give veterans a discount, but the personnel were extremely nice and didn't hover over us. **UPDATE** I've lowered my rating because while other stores offer some sort of return time for mattresses, I was told "it's manager discretion," and of course, my salesperson was the manager at the time of my purchase (less than 30 days of purchase) and they were transferred. I was s.o.l. and stuck with a mattress that is not only poorly made, but now on my credit because I'm disputing the charge.
Wife and I needed a couch and we happened upon this store while waiting for a table at the Longhorn Steakhouse nearby. While we decided not to make a purchase during our first visit, Eleni (the associate who approached us) was very helpful and friendly. She put the effort in to build a solid rapport with my wife and I, so we were very glad to work with her when we were ready to buy. After Eleni did the workup, I noticed that the price on the piece we planned to purchase had gone up $300-$400 since our first visit. The tag still showed the original price, so (with the managers approval) she honored it. It'll probably be another two weeks at least before the couch gets here, but I'll go out of my way to praise someone good at their job in the meanwhile. Eleni made our experience swift, uncomplicated and very pleasantly free of the pushiness associated with sales.

We put an order in for a bed, mattress, coffee table and couch in Lake Orion. First they said we would get the couch delivered on a certain day. That didn’t happen. Then we talked with the manager. He set up the coffee table and bed to get delivered. We got the bed, not the coffee table. We are supposed to get the mattress this Friday. Now they say there is nothing set up. We are canceling the rest of our order. Their customer service is very bad. Our salesmen stated he would call us and email us. Never happened. Sorry we dealt with this company in the first place.

I spent $1600 at this store on 10/11/21. I bought 4 items that were in stock and able to take with me and ordered 2 times that will be delivered. I want to return two of the wall items ($800) and they refuse to allow a return. Saying all sales are final (this is not on my receipt) and then the manger tells me, "I tried to see if we could take them back but my general manager says due to COVID we cannot." They should understand the science of COVID before they make ridiculous statements like that. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Fast forward after the "representative" said to contact them to resolve, DON'T FALL FOR their seemingly helpful customer service...same story just told by another employee. Just go elsewhere, salesman are clueless, already have waited 2 months for delivery, then a week ago got 3 chairs with damage already and missing one with no table! the bed frame with no mattress. Week has gone by and nothing has arrived and they are clueless of when the rest will come in.
We visited the Lake Orion store for the second time and were greeted by Skylar. She was terrific helping us to look at tables and lamps. Our previous purchase was a living room set. This time we purchased two end tables. Thank you Skylar for all your help.
We have waited for almost 2 months on our sectional now, which we understood at first. It was supposed to be delivered 9/30 and we received a call that morning saying there was a problem with the delivery. It was then moved to 10/7, but when we went to confirm that, we noticed only one half of the couch was going to be delivered. It turned out that without telling us, they had changed our delivery date yet again to two separate dates, 10/07 and 10/12. Now again after confirming the dates and telling us these are not estimations but the actual date, they called again and have pushed delivery out to 10/19 with no guarantee that the couch will actually be delivered. They expect you to be home and available on these dates & times and do not seem to care if they miss their scheduled time or change it repeatedly even after confirmation. They push you to sign up for financing and then claim that they cannot compensate you directly for any inconvenience because of that financing. If you want a couch any time soon, go somewhere else.

We had a great experience in the store selecting our furniture back in July. Our salesperson was helpful and promised us we would get our furniture in 8-10 weeks. We intentionally selected furniture that was available and in stock. It’s now September and we called for an update only to be told that we “might” get our furniture by end of the year and our chair will arrive sometime in 2022. No exacts dates were given. No phone call to let us know of the status. This was the first we heard of the delay. No specifics on how to remedy the situation. Overall a horrible experience as we have no furniture for the next three months (best case). I would not buy again from here.
We had bought our couch and chair last year from Ashley. I love them. So I was looking for a dresser. Love their selection but I found one in my price range. I went in and got the best service. In and out. I felt bad cause it was a small purchase but mark was awesome. He kept saying no purchase is too small. He helped me and I will go back when ever we need something. Absolutely ridiculous. Ordered my couch July 3rd, was told my couch would be delivered on August 31st, which is today, and guess what? No couch. This place didn’t even call to let us know. I took the day off of work and rearranged my living room for nothing. Now they’re saying my couch will POSSIBLY be delivered October 26th. Very disappointing.

I would have given negative stars if there is an option.We bought a coffee table set from Auburn Hills store on 06/30/2021. We got the delivery on August 14. At the time of delivery, I found packaging totally damaged and I pointed out this to the delivery person who refused to take it back and asked me to call customer service. When I opened the box, I found out that the product with lot of scratches and dirt. I also found assembling screws missing. Interior packaging clearly showed that the product has been dismantled from somewhere and just stuffed into a mis sized Box. To my surprise , I even found out a return label inside the box that showed that this product was returned to stores by some previous buyer back in June 2021. I called up customer service immediately who told me that someone will confirm the replacement schedule. I also called up sales representative at stores who sold this product who also confirmed to give us a call back confirming the replacement . since then, I have called customer service several times just to hear same assurance of someone calling me back on replacement plan. Sales rep at your stores have since stopped answering my call. I am really frustrated with my entire experience with Ashley and would like to caution anyone interested in buying from AshleyFurniture to be ready for this frustrating journey.

First off our sales man did not tell us our delivery date until after he closed the sale, our bad for not asking, but that something that you should tell your customer before closing a sale. So it was set for August 2021, here we are and now they are saying December.. That is insane I could have took my money elsewhere and got furniture sooner! I WANT MY FURNITURE IN AUGUST BOT DECEMBER. Absolutely horrible experience, if I could put negative stars I would! NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture! My husband and I purchased a sectional and ottoman in August of 2020. We understood delivery would be delayed because of covid. We got the sectional in November, suppose to get ottoman in January, but ended up getting it in February. When the sectional was delivered, the corner wedge did not fit properly, we asked if someone could come out to adjust it. They suggested to replace the whole sectional instead. Months later, the new sectional arrives damaged. We refused delivery because the wedge was completely damaged and rewrapped. When that finally came months later, the wood structure inside the fabric wedge was broken. We sent it back again and waited for our 3 rd sectional. The wedge was again damaged. The drivers convinced us to accept the left and right arm of the sofa and refuse wedge. Finally in July 2021 a wedge shows up. This wedge is a different color than the rest of the couch and is also a different height. We made note of it in the delivery slip and called Ashley and made note. We never heard a word from Ashley. After a week or so we called Ashley and spoke to Shirley. Shirley was very helpful and nice and discussed possible different dye lots etc. she promised to make this situation right. She said she would replace the sectional and ottoman so it all matched and we would finally get the couch and ottoman that we saw in the showroom and paid for. She said she would makes some calls and talk to some people and would call us back. Two weeks go by and we don’t hear back from Shirley. We call on Monday and leave a voicemail for Shirley, she does not call us back. Tuesday we call back around noon, and Shirley is not helpful at all and tells us Amber is working with corporate on our situation. Amber is currently on a conference call and will call us back as soon as she is off her call. It is 5:30 as I’m typing this review and she still has not called us back. My husband gets a hold of a man named Brandon Johnson in corporate who tells us that the time limit has expired on us getting this situation fixed. In trying to explain that it is not our fault on the time it has taken to get this resolved, but rather Ashley’s ability to get the furniture not damaged to us in a timely manner, he was very rude. Brandon was very unprofessional and mocked and actually laughed at my husband. We then called the ER team to try and figure out what to do next. Hannah explained that the drivers cannot leave any component of a multi component sofa if any component is refused. The drivers were not in the mood to do the extra work of reloading the furniture so they decided to create a new policy. Ashley is stating there is nothing they can do to remedy the situation since we accepted the left and right section even though their drivers disregarded company policy. After a final call tonight with the ER (emergency response) team, Lauren has offered to replace the sides of the sectional but can not do anything if the sides don’t match the wedge piece. After a year of purchasing a sectional and ottoman from Ashley, we are still trying to get the furniture we sat on in the showroom.
Update: Ashley Store, how low you guys can go to harassing your customer by not returning the money you took in advance and failed to deliver. Series of Events: First, they took $800 in advance with a promise that they would deliver furniture in 1-2 months max. Second, they change it to 6-8 months delay in delivery without any apology Third, I canceled all orders and returned one mattress cover of $116 (without furniture it was of no use), which they received from me at store Fourth, they returned $690 and they were not ready to accept over the phone that they received the mattress cover back Fifth, I had to go back to their store to show them the proof and then they apologized and gave me the refund receipt of the remaining money. It’s one week now, but still, the money is not back in my account. It is a highly unprofessional team with no sense of respect for customer’s time and money. It’s more than a month for me to struggle to get the full advance money back from them. An interesting fact is that the same set of Ashley Furniture I got delivered by Gardner White within 15 days which they asked me to wait for 6-8 months —————————————- (Old Comment) I have to edit my previous below post as the sales experience didn’t end well. The Store team didn’t inform us how long a delay it could be to get delivered. We asked them if it can get delivered in 2-3 weeks and Sales Executive told us yes it is possible. We already sold our living room furniture, and then we enquired back, they mentioned it could get deliver in October-November time range. They didn’t inform us that the entire inventory is zero right now, and they don’t have anything apart from what we saw in the store. Beware before making any purchase and ensure that you get clarity on the possible delivery timeframe before you finalize the order. We had to move to another furniture store for the same stuff again. Not a good experience 😔😔 ———————- [Old Comment] Our recent experience at Ashley Homestore, Auburn Hills, was terrific. The Sales Executive, Brook, is an amazing girl with lots of patience to answer all our queries and helped us to find what we were looking for. Placed order in March and told furniture would arrive in June. No delivery made and we had to follow up with them to find out about our order. Was then told July 20th for one of two pieces. We again had to follow up after delivery was missed and told one piece will arrive July 31st and other piece moved back to November. Unacceptable and looking at other stores to take our money and pulling plug here.
Mark just helped me and he was fantastic! He took a lot of time to go over several different options and delivery dates. He didn't rush me, even at closing! Furniture looks fantastic, can't wait until it arrives!

We had a horrible experience with this company...they ensured us our furniture would be available for delivery roughly a month after we ordered it. Needless to say once we ordered, our furniture delivery kept getting pushed back to the end of August 2021. Mind you we ordered in April of 2021, we were told there was no backlog on delivery and that was the whole reason why we placed an order. Had we known about the delay we would have went elsewhere. We ended up cancelling our order and it took 6-8 weeks, five phone calls and lots of frustration to get a deducted refund. We ended up getting our furniture from American Freight Furniture and Mattress in the Flint area and got the best service and delivery the next day.

Went to the the Ashely Homstore off Baldwin to find a couch. Brooke greeted my son and I. We were interested in a sectional but not a large one like they usually are from the limited space I have. She was very helpful showed us a few in the price range we were looking. She showed us one that was a smaller sectional that was perfect and priced right. We will be definitely be going back.
I recently purchased a couch, chair and ottoman from Ashley home store. It was a seamless experience. Mark was very helpful and had me in and out in about 15 minutes. Not only that, but my furniture will be in at the end of the month. I have another couch, chair and ottoman on order at another store. I ordered it January 6th and they still can’t tell me when it will be in, seven months later!

In store customer service seems to be great but anything outside of those doors has been nothing but a terrible experience. I've tried to reach out via text/call 5-6x with no response or false promises of call back if I do. Maybe I could go to the store and purchase the bedroom set Fiance and I were considering, but this significantly shakes my confidence of resolving any issues that may arise after the purchase. 6/22/21 - Fiance and I were approached by and helped by the store manager. We needed a day to think about a set we were thinking of purchasing so the manager took my name and number down and said someone will call tomorrow to follow up and discuss pricing if I'm interested. 6/23/21 12:02a I received a VM from the store to call back from Evan 1:19p I called back and someone answered saying Evan will call me back at 3pm on the dot; didn't receive call 4:40pm I called back and no one answered 5:37pm I called back and Paul answered. I explained what I needed and he said he'll have a quote emailed to me in 10-15 and would call back to discuss; never received call 7:00pm Received a text stating to text back if I have any questions about my order and they'll get back to me ASAP 7:25pm I text back regarding estimated delivery date and receive a text stating "we aren't open right now, but we will get back to you as soon as we can" 6/24/21 10:02a Received text stating "I apologize I am not able to find your item on my end so I am going to go ahead and submit a ticket to the store to have your sales person contact you with an update" 10:25a I called the store and no one answered.

Walked in with 3k ready to spend and buy a couch. The workers asked what I wanted, showed me 1 thing and then left and didn't help after that. I kept having to go look for them to ask questions. I was the only customer in the store. I'm going somewhere else.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! I purchased a loveseat & chaise in November, 2020, and now I am being told it will be August before it will be delivered. Original date was end of Feb. I have had three other estimated dates since then. I d not understand why they sell furniture they cannot deliver! July 28, 2021 UPDATE! My furniture was just delivered, from the purchase date of November, 2020. The store manager, Sharon, was very helpful with the process and keeping me informed during the delay. The delivery men were professional, punctual, and did a great job setting up the furniture where I wanted it. Corporate customer service could have done a much better job. Being honest about factory shutdowns due to COVID, scarcity of materials needed, and shipping snafus would have been better than no explanation offered. With that being said, I am very happy with my furniture.
We bought a sectional from Ashley furniture in Orion Township. We were told that it would be delivered in three months. It took 4-4 1/2 months to get it delivered. We noticed something was wrong with the chaise. The back and bottom do t fit eight together perhaps. We called for someone to come and look at it. They have a third party company to fix their furniture. We are going on six times now that someone would call and schedule an appointment to look at it. I even called the night before and oh yes someone was going to call and look at it. This has been escalated to a “manager “ TWICE. They do t call either. If I could give less than a one star I would. I am going to contact the better business burea to see if they will respond to that. This is absolutely terrible service. Never again!
TLDR: Beware if you are in need of furniture sooner rather than later. I’m writing this from the lawn chairs in my living room because it’s approaching three months and I still have not received my couch. I ordered a regular sofa with warranty that was nearly $1,000. It has been delayed every time I’ve called, which is probably approaching 7 times now since purchase. I purchased February 7th. As of today, the current expected date that it will be ready to schedule for delivery is May 11th. Ashley will not inform you if it has been delayed and it is the customers responsibility to seek updates when there are issues/delays. They have given me the impression that they do not value their customer’s time or money. Also, please know as a customer that free delivery is an option! I was not made aware of this option when initially purchasing and was deceived. ——— This will be the first and last time I purchase from Ashley. I purchased in store on February 7th. Erik assisted me with my purchase. When purchasing, he asked if I wanted delivery so I inquired as to how much it was. He said a figure between $130-$159, I don’t quite remember exactly. I was on the fence, but I declined because I was already purchasing the warranty. Weeks or about a month later I decided I did want delivery so I called Ashley to pay. To my surprise, the customer service agent asked if I wanted free delivery or white glove delivery. Free delivery was never mentioned while buying. I understand that there may be some sort of financial incentive to selling white glove delivery, but I feel uncared for and deceived as a new customer when white glove was presented as my only option. Secondly, I still do not have my couch almost three months later and I don’t feel that Ashley attempts to keep the customer properly informed. I do understand that Covid has created logistical issues and I did expect to wait. They said it may be 10-12 weeks, but that it would most likely be here sooner. I called to check on the status in March and was pleasantly surprised to hear that it would be ready to schedule delivery that month and that I would receive a text when it was time to schedule delivery. I did not ever receive a text. So I’ve called approximately seven times periodically checking up on the date and have been told numerous times it would be ready to schedule the delivery the following week only for it to be delayed again and again. I was told that if I wanted updates about the status/delays that I would have to keep calling because they don’t call customers anymore when things are delayed. Maybe there is a disconnect between Ashley and the manufacturer, but the constant changing of dates is frustrating. If it was going to take the full 12 weeks, then just state that instead of moving the date up two months and then continuously delaying it every week. I will say that all of the agents I’ve spoken with have been pleasant, which I appreciate, but I strongly feel that Ashley could make improvements to the way they keep their customers informed about their orders whether by call, automated text, or email. For these reasons, I feel that my overall experience with Ashley has been negative and I will be sure to warn my friends and family who are looking to purchase furniture.

Been looking for a dining table with just the right finish and size for a long time. Found it at Ashley! Excellent service. Also bought dining chairs online had excellent experience with Ashley online service too! Will return in the future.
We had a fantastic experience!!! Your sales representative Mark caught up with us about halfway through the store and just had a nice conversation with us and didn't pressure us one bit. He left us alone by a nice bedroom set my wife liked. A few minutes later we decided to get the bedroom set. We flagged Mark down and we started the paper work. We then went over to the beds where we met Evan a sleep specialist who got us set up with a nice new adjustable tempur-pedic bed. They were both super nice and incredibly helpful. Glad we went into Ashley's that day because we are really pleased with the service and selection. My wife is finally going to have a matching bedroom set for the first time in 30 years thanks to Ashley's!!!!

We had researched online looking for a sectional that would fit our home and our style. We had bought a dresser for my teenage son from Ashley online and absolutely the look and quality of it so after not finding anything at our local furniture stores I went online onto Ashley’s website and found the exact color and style sectional couch and we fell in love. We made an appointment at the Ashley Furniture store and it was a very quick and comfortable appointment where we are able to order the exact design of the sectional we wanted (we were told at another furniture store it “was impossible to be made that way) and everything went rather smoothly. Because Ashley makes all their furniture we do have to wait several weeks before it will be shipped to our home but we know it will be worth the wait. I am positive we have found our go to furniture store with Ashley. Thank you for making what’s usually such a headache of a process so comfortable!
Purchased a very large piece of art that is absolutely beautiful and goes great in our living room over the couch. Good sale price got the price down to a deal we couldn't pass up. Been looking for years to find something to go over our couch. Was prepared to wrap up myself to protect it which is a good thing because they didn't offer to wrap it whatsoever. I've had this happen in the past with other stores so I came prepared with my moving blankets and plastic wrap and tape to make sure glass didn't break. Kind of blows my mind to think that they would let someone leave the store without it wrapped and all but not care if something happens to it. Once it's sold to who cares attitude really bugs me especially when it comes to spending hundreds of dollars on a piece of art. Was told I hope it don't break. The GM (I was told) was at the store and did assist with me wrapping and loading it so that is a plus for customer care. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 strictly due to no wrapping offered by store and the quality of the art brings the rating up. I've purchased other furniture before and was packaged up. Having multiple pieces of the art and showing one on the wall but having a few stocked still wrapped up makes the most sense but I do realize space is always a concern when storing items. Happy with art and price unsatisfied with no wrapping offered but since I came prepared I'm not out anything.
I had been pining over this bed set for months debating back and forth telling myself every excuse I could..I came in today and was greeted by Ara so patient and calm with my inability to make a decision. By the end of our conversation he had me convinced it was obvious to him and then to me its the one my heart wanted. Purchased it today with ara and made and appointment to come get my couch in three weeks who knew the trampoline material had soon many benifets let alone longevity and weight distribution..can't wait to order again...Thanks Ara....

Nice store. Sales folks were not pushy and let us look around which was nice. Clean environment. Purchased an end table. Small item. Update to review 1 Star. VERY disappointed. I purchased in store, got home and found it online 20% less. They could not match the price to order purchased so had to cancel in store and purchase online. Store has ZERO access to online order info and vice versa. 18 days later no refund to my in store order. Called, after 15 min hold was hung up on. Called back and was told refunds take 10-14 days. Had to put a "request" in for someone to follow up on my refund. Same day: Got notification of shipping/tracking info. Saw a credit and debit for my online purchase. Store had NO info to online orders so on hold again to talk to the "online" store to find out what is going on. Still holding....gave me time to update my post.
We were allowed to browse the store freely without being hounded. Then when we were ready to speak with a salesperson, the staff was attentive and very friendly. It was a great shopping experience.

I wanted to just do my own thing and take my time. I do like the furniture and the man was nice but in the future I feel like when I walk in a need to say “I am really not wanting any help and would like to be left alone. This started out great, the Sales person was very nice and we picked out some great furniture for the price. The furniture was delayed and delayed with no communication...ok I can understand covid and all. We got our furniture delivered right before christmas, the delivery people said they didn't have the right tools to put the legs on our sectional couch, but they would call "the guy" right now that would come out to fix it up. The dressor has marks on it and "the guy" will fix that. As of now, almost March we still have no legs on the couch, everytime we call they NEVER call back as they say they will. Nobody in one department can talk to another or get a hold of another. Even management. When calling the store, Amber who is the manager and the only one that can do anything is magically never there, at lunch, working at home, sick, etc. I have never seen anything like it! But of course I have been charged the full amount for my furniture I am paying for that is not complete. Wow just Wow!! I feel bad for the workers there, they seem to have no control over anything other departments do or what happens when they use a horrible service company!

I spoke with a lady there today, maybe Diane? She was perfect! I had quite a few issues ordering furniture from Ashley furniture website and had even more issues with the call center type people they connected me to once the issues online started happening. I canceled my whole order due to the issues. I called the local Orion Township store and she picked up. Super nice, I explained my situation. She went out of her way to find the product for me and get it delivered here faster! The best deal of all is that she offered me a protection plan I hadn’t even seen online, explained everything to me thoroughly, and helped me make an informed decision. I work in insurance for a living, attention to detail and crunching numbers is my thing so when she started telling me about this protection plan and the fact that either I get my furniture fixed/replaced OR a I get a credit after five years was super nice to hear. I just want to thank this lady from what turned from an extremely unpleasant experience to a professional, problem solving experience and I ended up with the furniture I wanted.

Beautiful and well organized store! The sales team was very pleasant and did not pressure you into buying anything you don’t want. The store didn’t have the furniture pieces I found online but I was still able to place my order and get a better deal than the price quoted online. My salesman also explained the 5 year protection plan which includes getting a store credit if you don’t use the plan within 5 years. Will return!

Do not ever order anything from this store. I was told when I placed the order in September the latest I would receive it would be beginning of December. Called a few weeks into December they told me beginning of January. Called beginning of January they told me middle of January. Called middle of January they told me February 4th. Called today they told me February 15th. I spoke with Ines and I tried to explain that I’ve been getting the run around and it’s been almost 6 months and she literally sat there in silence and didn’t give me any explanation or apology. Abosolutley terrible customer. Also tried calling and speaking with my salesman Eric Weiss a few times and every time I was told he wasn’t here and was going to call me back and never did. I will be calling later and canceling mine and my brothers orders because HE ALSO has not received his order from back in September. Terrible customer service. Will never recommend this place to anyone and obviously will never shop here again. Unless you are willing to wait 6-8 months and be lied to constantly DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

We had purchased a bedroom set from a competitor and shipping was a nightmare! We had been lied to multiple times and once our whole bedroom set came it was damaged in mutilple spots. My husband and I decided that we wanted to return everything and start over from another company. I went into the Baldwin location today and we greeted by Michael. He was so help and not pushy at all! He was very knowledgeable about every bedroom set that I looked at. Sometime you feel like you are pressured into buying something and if you aren’t ready to buy right then and there the sales person doesn’t want anything to do with you. Michael was very kind and even took my number to follow up. I w ent to a few stores in the plaza to think about what set I wanted to go with and when I returned Michael was with another customer but greeted me with a wave. Once I told him I was ready we sat down and he was very thorough! I feel great about the whole exeperience! He even gave me his personal number in case I came across any issues. I told him from the beginning that all I wanted him to do was be honest about delivery times, I knew I was going to have to wait for my shipment (which the other company was NOT) and he just that! Thank you for the positive experience!

Great experience at this location. We have bought from Ashley in Florida previously and were excited they opened here in Michigan. Great up to date selection and good pricing. Manager Marcus was great and hooked us up with any discount t he could.
First of all, I completely understand everyone is backed up due to covid and there’s nothing anyone can do about that. We ordered our couch on September 15th, paid in full, and were told it would arrive around thanksgiving. When it got closer to that time, we called, to find out that they had pushed the deliver date back to the first week December. Didn’t arrive. Called again. Pushed back even farther now, can’t commit to any deliver dates. We went on vacation and scheduled it to deliver on Jan 5th. On Jan 4th, we called them, they said it’s being delivered now on Jan 22nd. Every time we ask why and where it is, they can’t tell us, they don’t know. They promise to call 2 days prior to delivery to schedule the time- that’s a lie. The final time we called, they told us we had to call them back in 7 days to check for any updates and they still couldn’t schedule a firm delivery date. It’s been 4 months and they still claim it’s “being made”. Not only that, but they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We will never purchase from Ashley again. *edit* I called again, as instructed to “call back in 7 days” and guess what....it’s delayed again. Now they are telling me Jan 27th and the customer service via email isn’t helpful either.
We visited the Ashley Home Store in Auburn Hills and were pleasantly surprised. The selection was very good, their high end furniture was of good quality for the price. Our sales associate was helpful and did not steer us to items that we were not looking for. In the end we purchased a power reclining loveseat that was nearly $2000 Less than a comparable piece we had selected at Lazyboy. If you steer clear of the low end, price leader stuff you will by happy that you shopped Ashley.

I've never experienced such incompetent customer service in my life. I've been trying for over a week to get a replacement for a bar chair that has misaligned holes for assembly and I've spoken with around 15 people at multiple different call centers, sent over 20 emails containing damage photos to 3 different emails (someone telling me I'm using the incorrect email and to send them to a different one), called four different numbers (one of which giving me the same number I just called, that they answered) and everyone giving me different timeframes for email retrieval (15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 24 hours, 48 hours) and that I would have to call back to see if they've received the email. No one can seen to find any of the 20+ emails I've sent. I don't understand who I have to talk to to get a new chair. I'm beyond angry and completely out of patience. I'll be bringing the chair into the store and I won't be leaving until I'm given a replacement. This furniture company is a complete joke and I will NEVER purchase another item from them. **Edit: Diana at the Lake Orion store is an absolute ANGEL. She saved my sanity and got me a new chair. Within 24 hours she was able to do for me what I had been trying to accomplish for 10 days. Thank you Diana and Amber!!!!! Five stars for these ladies, negative five for the customer service team at Ashley Furniture.

Do not use this company they will take your money and not return it. I have placed a order in October and never received it when I asked for a refund it’s always someone has to call you back. I had to make a dispute with my credit card company to get a refund. If you have money to throw away give it to a charity before giving it to them. Absolutely horrible service.
My husband and I came in looking for a console table and we found exactly what we have been looking for! It's absolutely stunning and a good price! They have a lot of beautiful, high end furniture. We will definitely be back! The best part was Diane who helped us! She was so helpful and so friendly and kind; I made a new friend as well! **EDIT** We ended up coming back a 2nd time and purchasing a sofa and power recliner. Then we returned a 3rd time and bought myself a power recliner! Awesome place!

I’ve never been to a furniture store where I had to seek out assistance. Several workers walked by us and did not appear to be helping anyone and no one said a word. Once we finally did find someone to help us, he could not have seemed less interested in helping us and answering our questions. It’s highly unlikely I’d ever shop here again. Unfortunately, there’s only one chance for a good first impression. The only reason they get two starts instead of one is because there was a decent selection and the store was clean.
I highly recommend them! They have excellent customer service. Furniture is displayed nicely in store. Everything is easy to find and they have sales going on quite often. I am very happy with my furniture.
***UPDATE*** After being reassured that our order would arrive shortly we decided to wait (bad idea). About 2 weeks ago I called and was informed our furniture had arrived and our delivery date was set to Dec 26th. On the 23rd we received another text telling us that it would be delivered it on the 29th, then on the 28th (you guessed it) our delivery was once again delayed until Jan 11th. At this point, we decided to rent a Uhaul, take the day off of work and go pick it up ourselves. Finally this nightmare is over... but NOPE we haul the furniture inside and realize they gave us the wrong connecting piece. Do NOT order from Ashley Furniture during this time. Maybe once the pandemic is over they will get it together but please save yourself the headache and do NOT go through them unless you'd like to wait half a year to MAYBE get your order right. They told us 6 wks for delivery it has been 7 weeks and they are now telling us it will be another 3 weeks out. I get it, it's COVID but now we literally just want to cancel our order...I was on hold for 3 hours and they told me I cannot cancel over the phone! We live 45 minutes from the store and they told us we HAVE to go into the store to cancel. They won't give you a direct number to the store so I was just on hold for 3 hours for nothing.THEN she tells us when we get to the store they might make us call the number again. She pretty much admitted they are putting up road blocks so we cannot cancel. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I would give it zero stars if I could, SO unprofessional and shady.
Have had nothing but issues since ordering from this store. Ready to return almost $6K in bedroom furniture due to issues. Ordered a bedroom set on black Friday and was told we would receive a call when it was ready for pickup. After calling multiple times over the course of a few weeks we were told it was ready for pickup and it needed to be picked up before end of day. Great notice!! So we dropped what we were doing and I cut out of work to go pick it up. Once getting it home we notice three of the bedroom set pieces were damaged. We called that night but since it was after hours their phone system hangs up on you. We called immediately the next morning and got a run around. Submitted pictures and dealt with an outsourced company who asked me to forward the email to their personal address because they couldn't access our original claim or email. A week later we are still trying to get the damaged items replaced as they are not acceptable. We have had to sleep on the ground for the past week since the bed frame cannot be put together and were informed that the items are now backordered. Tried talking with the store manager and they won't answer the phone. This is terrible customer service and extremely unprofessional of an organization to deal with. I'd advise taking your business elsewhere, as we for sure will be for the rest of our furniture needs once our new home is built.
Eric the sales manager is terrible at reaching out to his customers. Have left my name and number numerous times for him to reach out and nothing. Placed my order for a bedroom set on September 20, 2020 and was told expect delivery between 12-16 weeks. Finally got ahold of someone and was just notified I won’t be seeing it until March, 2021. I’ve tried calling this location multiple times trying to get a status update. Waited on hold anywhere between 30-45 minutes multiple times. Sometimes I would even dial the sales line and no one would pick up. I’ve never seen such bad customer service anywhere. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB on this matter because people should know exactly what they’ll be dealing with when they shop with Ashley Homestore.
Staff was super helpful and quick to help us, but not too pushy and let us shop around on our own. Just came from Gardner White down the road where me and my husband walked around with no one offering to help us for the hour and a half we were browsing there for. At Ashley's, we had someone come up and offer to help after a few minutes of browsing. We got a couch set which was really nice and seemed good quality, also had higher weight capacity compared to the sets at other stores we shopped at. We were also looking for a dining set, but the ones here seemed a bit "cheaper" and less quality compared to other stores (that's why a star is missing in the rating).
They were all very nice and helpful.
Friendly, low-pressure atmosphere. There was a decent amount of customer activity, which is a good thing. Erik did a great job of selling us more than we came in for (haha), but they were items we were going to buy at some point anyway. He is a very no-pressure, likable salesman. We were happy with our purchase experience (so far).

Do not expect to have your items delivered anytime soon. Ordered items end of July and was given an estimated delivery date at end of August. That date came around and I got a text to pick a delivery time slot. Close to when that day came around they called me to push the date back. After that, the new scheduled date would come and I would not receive anything for confirmation. Would call and be told the date was rescheduled. But they don't call you to inform you this. This rescheduling happened several times. Finally actually got a confirmed delivery date (mid October at this point). On that day, I could track my order online. Could see my stop number and estimated time of arrival. At the end of the day they had never shown up. Called and was told they finished the stop before me but they weren't able to get a hold of the driver and said the distribution center would call me back. They never did. Called store number back the next day and was told it had been rescheduled again. Again I was not notified. The people I talked to on the phone are courteous, but apparently have no control over what happens with deliveries. Salesman was nice and didn't hover over us in store, but doesn't matter if you never receive your product (already paid in full). This company needs to seriously work on communication and logistics. *update*: Finally got my delivery mid-December...3.5months after their estimated delivery date. We ordered a bedroom set. Bed is nice, but after 3 days two of the drawers broke. The drawer slides attach to a piece of wood that attaches to the side of the dresser. This piece of wood broke off for 2 drawers. Currently attempting to try to remedy this with them.
Marketa was a huge help! She was not only very attentive but, was wonderful to work with! Always request working with her and you are guaranteed to have a great experience!
It was very easy to buy a new sofa, not a hard sale where the salesman follows you around like your a seal in water and he’s a shark. Lol He came up introduced himself ask if I needed any help and I said not right now I’ll look around he left and stop by a couple times just to check and see if I needed any help and then I did purchase a sofa from him. Nice to wonder around and look.I gave them a 4 star only cause their is a 90 day wait possible.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this store. I came in on black Friday and the store was offering 30% off. I was told by the sales associate that the 30% off would still be good the next day (Saturday) so, I decided I would come back and finalize my purchase then as it was a little crazy in the store. Saturday morning I CANACLED another couch I had purchased because it was a better deal at Ashley. Get to the store Saturday and ope....no more 30% off. The store's solution for me? They'll call me if that couch is ever 30% off again. Thanks but no thanks. Edit to add my email exchange (based on the response to my review): Me: re-explains above Ashley: I apologize about your experience you have had with Ashley Furniture, is there anything we can do on our end to resolve this issue? Amazing experience. We had a queen mattress and were looking for a plain bed platform. We looked around and didn’t see anything, and headed back to our vehicle. We were just about ready to leave the parking lot when Marquita (from Ashley Furniture) ran out of the store flagging us down. “We have something in the back that might work for you! Come back in and look at it.” I’ve never had a salesperson follow me out to the car with a suggestion, so we went back in. It was more than we could have asked for and perfect for our needs. Evan (the sleep specialist) added to Marquita’s enthusiasm, and put the finishing touches on the sale. Then Evan and Mark rolled the bed platform out to our truck and helped us load it! The kicker was that Evan had a dress shirt and slacks, and Mark had a suit on. BUT they helped anyway. This sales team deserves a high five.
Marketa & Kiki gave us the best service picking out our perfect bed. The two of them took care of us and made us feel like my husband and I were the only two in the store.

I recommend shopping on Wayfair or literally anywhere else. How does a furniture store not give you a receipt or tell you how much you are going to be charged?? “Oh we will email it to you.” Ok... it’s been a few weeks now and nothing. Emailed, called, and texted sales rep multiple times with no response. No concrete answers, customer service said they cannot help, and no ETA for delivery. We’ve purchased at Ashley before and our experiences have ALWAYS been negative, it’s always something with them! After this time, we will never go back and encourage others to do the same!

All of their stuff is on back order because of the pandemic but so is every other place. The store manager Kiki was actually really helpful and let us take a floor model that was similar to our set. The moving company that Ashley recommended actually damages Ed the set while moving it and even though this wasn’t Ashley’s fault they gave us a discount and started a claim in our behalf with the moving company. I wasn’t thrilled with the wait time being almost a year to get our furniture that we paid for but in the end if your going to buy from Ashley I’d recommend this location. I will be coming back after the pandemic and things are in stock. The price for what we paid for our before the discount we received was very fair for the quality compared to other places.
The worst sales person I have ever dealt with! Demised me as a customer because I was a women. They marked the prices of the furniture way up from what’s online and the sales person continued to say “well that’s the price online, you’re in the store.” Every time I have dealt with other Ashley dealers, they made me feel valued as a customer. The only thing I felt when I walked away from this store was satisfied that the sales person would receive a commission. The manager didn’t bother to come out and have a conversation either. Shame on this store for making their customers feel this way, I will not be back nor will I encourage anyone to go into that store. The sales person should lose his job.

Beware: my sales associate told me there was minimal assembly (putting in a couple shelves) for the TV stand I purchased only to receive a piece of furniture requiring significant assembly and and warning from the warehouse employee that they often come back broken due to difficulty with assembly. I got the furniture home to find 3 different areas of damage on the furniture (on the one piece I took out of the box). After a significant amount of time on the phone with the company and having to send photos of the damage 3 times before anyone seemed able to see it, they told me there was a 'no refund policy' (my sales associate told me there wasn't any problem refunding my money if there were issues). I was lied to about the policies and furniture and the company is unwilling to stand behind their product with any amount of integrity. I will never return to an Ashley Homestore again and will make sure anyone looking to buy furniture goes elsewhere.
The store was full of excellent choices. Made it hard to make a decision but I found exactly what I wanted. Marcus helped us with all the details once we made our choice and he was very informative. I highly recommend Ashley furniture.

If I Could give this place zero stars I would. The day before I was supposed to pick up my couch I called to make sure because I need to rent a truck. They told me it’s delayed by 3 months, so I canceled it. - day later they said they located a couch and I can pick it up in 3 days. when I went to pick it up they said it’s not there and they’d do free delivery. And every time I cal to schedule my delivery I get the runaround . This has happened to a few of my friends as well. Don’t buy anything from this store.
The employee that helped us was really nice and quite helpful, the couch seems really nice and solidly built (haven’t received yet, but in store looking at it). The delivery time is really long (potentially 14-16 weeks), but that’s COVID related and affects all furniture stores.
This store is too unorganized with their deliveries. Do not order anything from them unless you want an neverending doom of never receiving your order. They shipped my bed frame broken twice and are now saying it is on backorder. This is 2 weeks after the last part came broke. You would think their common sense would say, "hey let's call the manufacture and tell them we need this piece since they screwed up with our customer." It seems they clearly don't care about their customers.

Great customer service. However, don't expect to get your order anytime soon. I ordered in September, and was given a delivery date of October 27th. When I didn't hear anything on my delivery date, I reached out and was told my order won't be delivered until end of November. I ended up cancelling my order and finding the exact same table set on Target and got it within 3 days. Won't be ordering from Ashley again.
I called the store ahead to see what the availability of furniture was and spoke with Ronnie. Ronnie was so helpful, knowledgeable, and honest, I later decided to come in and look at the furniture in person. He continued to tell us about our different options but was not pushy at all. Overall, it was a great experience.
Same story as everyone else here. Ordered a sectional in July, was told it would be delivered in September, that never happened, now it's almost November and I was just told it will be at least another 8 weeks from now. I am now convinced that they knew full well in July that the September delivery date was a complete lie. TL;DR--Ordered a sectional in July. Promised for September. Now we're looking at January. Six months of waiting instead of two. Do not shop here.
Amazing store and amazing people.
It is an amazing store, they have many furniture options. And the people there explain you everything you need to know. Also they have different payment options and good deals for you to be able to get your dream furniture. The only thing is the delivery lead time is so long due to the Covid situation. But apart of that everything is really good.
We ordered a complete bedroom furniture set. We waited 12 weeks. The delivery service confirmed our delivery date 3 times and after we waited the entire day, we called and they said they weren't able to deliver since not all pieces had arrived. Waited 4 more weeks for the delivery, however, when we received the furniture, 2 large pieces were damaged and did not accept delivery. We are now a week out from returning the damaged pieces and there is zero customer service not even a polite phone call as to giving us a status update. I will be returning the full set and I will not shop with Ashley in the future. UPDATE: They redelivered the damage pieces and we found out they were the exact same one that were previously tried to be delivered. And to top the This situation This, they damaged our railing and tracked dirt all over our carpet and the delivery persons were not wearing masks. This is MUCH MORE than a supply chain issue.

This place is awful. Customer service is a joke and extremely unhelpful. I was charged for delivery when I wasn't supposed to be and I was never informed my item was delayed by nearly a month. I had to call customer service because I was getting concerned after it was already 3 weeks late. The customer service people were rude and unhelpful and I ended up canceling my order because of the experience. Trying to get my refund has been even worse. It's been 3 weeks since I canceled my order and I'm told it's going to be at least another 2 weeks before I receive my refund.
Extremely frustrating when you're told "up to 12 weeks" for a delivery of a sectional and you're now being told it's supposed to be 16 (still in the process). I know what you're thinking, "Well COVID buddy", but I appreciate when a company is honest about delivery expectations and the order was 3-4 months into the pandemic so they should've had a better understanding of delivery times. The reason I added a bonus star is our salesmen was helpful and professional, and they don't have the hover factor of salesmen at other furniture stores to not be named. Also, since I haven't received the order yet stay tuned... Update: Changed my rating to one star since it's been over a week since I e-mailed the sales rep for an answer and had to drive to the store to find out about the pushed back delivery. Just rough all around.

My experience at Ashley home furniture was great. Evan Olden was the teammate who assisted us so incredibly well throughout. We visited initially on a Sunday and the store was doing everything they could to keep employees and patrons safe during the pandemic. We specifically worked with Evan Olden who was an outstanding team member. Evan Olden was attentive, kind, and patient as we decided on our furniture purchases. He worked with us for over and hour and made sure we were entirely happy with our upcoming furniture pieces. As we continue to plan our upcoming home furnishings, we will absolutely return to this store and request Evan as a teammate for our purchase.

Has been a full 3 months for a sofa to be delivered. Delivery has been pushed back six time and nobody at the store has an answer as to when it is coming. Furniture was order beginning of July and now in October we still have no answers. The loveseat and cocktail table were delivered a week and a half ago, We were told the sofa would be here last Friday and were then reschedule Again to Friday the 9th. Today we were now told it is coming the 14th. When calling the store nobody has any answers and the distribution site will not give anyone at the store answers... very dissatisfied with this store and will not be buying furniture here again.
I walked in super excited to buy a bedroom set anddd I left disappointed. A worker saw me trying to find the price for this beautiful dresser and decided to walk away. Another man saw me admiring this other dresser and decided to greet and help the person behind me... overall I felt discriminated by the way I was dressed. No my outfit didn’t scream money but that shouldn’t matter. My sisters and I were just not happy with our experience. No one helped... or even got asked if I was doing okay.
This is by far the best Ashley’s location I have been to! The staff were all very helpful and the store manager was extremely friendly and attentive! Evan helped us get our new couch ordered and was very up front with how long delivery was taking which is understandable during the pandemic.

I tried calling this store four different times today, one of the times I was on hold for over 10 minutes, and my call was never answered. I wanted to see if they had a bedframe in stock, but now I will be supporting another business for this purchase.
If you're considering buying furniture from this store, might I suggest.. DON'T. STOP. Shop somewhere (anywhere) else! Awful buying experience, which I vocalized along the way, and never once was contacted by management or a company representative to apologize or even discuss the situation. I waited over two months for a replacement piece for a furniture set that was delivered to me broken (After the initial month it took to arrive in the first place). And there isn't enough space in this review for me to list the inconveniences I experienced along the way. Not one person from this company took the initiative or even made an attempt to make things right. In fact, I had to contact the store multiple times to even get the ball rolling on the replacement delivery. Do not shop here, I'm not sure how they are receiving so many positive reviews when my experience was beyond terrible. Just don't shop here, save yourself the stress of dealing with their incompetent customer service.
If you like gray or beige furniture you're in luck, that's all they display.

We went mattress shopping and of course Erik our salesperson shows us the nicest ones and made us fall in love. But after we explained our budget and what we are looking for, he helped us find a reasonable mattress that was not too expensive, but great quality. He was professional and friendly. As we need more pieces for our house we will consider Erik at Ashley. The store was clean and we felt safe shopping during Covid.
Hi I visited Ashley home store in Auburnhills Mi. And when I tell u I wasn't disappointed at all. I mean not at all.They were the most loving and warm welcoming human beings iv ever met. They were right there to assist u with open arms. My shopping there was very pleasant and I will be going back. I love this store.

I normally despise going to a furniture store almost as much as a dealership but this place is different! I visited the store twice and I was never attacked by the sales team. I had plenty of time and space to look around on my own. When I made my decision the transaction was so quick I couldn’t believe it! Excellent experience. I will definitely be back.

We had an amazing visit to Ashley Home store, Orion township store. We purchased a bedroom set for our guest bedroom and our sales associate Erik was awesome. We weren’t able to see the set we were interested in completely but he was so nice to take us into the back to see pieces that the store was getting in to display. We could pick the exact wood shade and check the quality. Great experience there—highly recommend! So happy with our purchase.

Nothing like walking in there wearing casual clothes and feeling judged the moment we walk in the door. We were looking for a table and were accused for "living in a frat house." As soon as we found one that we liked we were going to buy it but I overheard a worker saying "those guys are looking for a coffee table" and laughed, while the other worker laughed and said "are you serious." Never have we felt more judged for wearing shorts and t-shirts.
I purchased a sofa, loveseat, and ottoman from sales associate Mike Lowe. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Not pushy and gave us plenty of room and time to discuss what was important to us. He was happy to answer my questions and if he didn't know something with a certainty he asked the correct person. Only negative is now we have to wait 8-12 weeks for our furniture. Hopefully we will have it in time for the holidays.

Holy Incredible Customer Service Batman!! I went to Ashley to look for a new bed. This was the first of 3 or 4 places I was looking to go. Well. It was the first and last place I went. I explained to my main man KiKi what I was looking for. He asked for my health history. Bed history etc. so he could match me up to the perfect bed. We went through a process of trying out different beds and going through all of the details and new technology in the mattress game. He explained so much detail about things I had no idea about, especially in regards to the way the cooling effects work. I also received an education on what happens to mattresses over time and how these are so much better long term. It was truly incredible. He also explained to me about sleeping positions and better ways to make sure he he spine is neutral etc. I was still reluctant on pulling the trigger so quickly when I only had just begun shopping. He was in no way pushing or pressing. He was there for me to ask questions and that was it. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. After talking it over with my son, I said let’s do it. The process was super quick and I received all of the details of the purchase. Warranties. Delivery time. Discounts. Etc. I work in customer service myself and so I really appreciate when I receive excellent service. I also have very high expectations because of this. Well Ashely Home and Furniture along with my guy KiKi knocked it out of the park. They most definitely have a return customer and believe me. I will always recommend them when my friends and family are looking for furniture. Thank you so much!!!!

I paid in full plus I purchased the protection plan on a stand with a fireplace back in June. I was told due to the pandemic it would get delivered on July 27th. It didn't happen and they told me it will get to me on August 10th. I called today and was told that due to the pandemic it should arrive on September 17th. " I'm sorry but this is the new normal" he said. If they don't have it in inventory don't buy it. Beware! This post is August 18th after they sent a response to my review. I sent my information like they requested and they said someone will contact me in 2 to 3 business days. THAT WAS AUGUST 10th. No call or email!

Run as far away as fast as possible. Walked in picked out a bed within 10 minutes, actually had to find a salesman to tell them were ready and know what we want. Not that I mind a salesman NOT hovering. Was told 1 month delivery, that month was 3 weeks ago. Delivery rescheduled twice, they email you a delivery confirmation 24 hours in advance with no other notice. You sit on hold for 20 minutes and they told me I can’t even reschedule for 24-48 hours. This is insane.
