I don't get my furniture for 5 more days (by choice) but I LOVED Lanna. The store in general felt comfortable. They don't immediately harass you. My husband and I were able to walk around and talk privately between to 2 of us without being followed or interrupted. When we were near the end a nice lady introduced herself but did not aggressively try to sell us anything. With in seconds we had questions. Her personality, knowledge and even opinions helped us so much. I felt as if we were friends. I had been looking for 4 months at GW because I thought Ashley was going to be over priced. I was wrong and I am thrilled with everything. We will be back for kids furniture and an office desk soon.
If any of you need an upgrade at your home, apartment or office this is the place to go and I will share our experience. My partner and I needed an upgrade for our living room table. So last Saturday we decided to go out and see for ideas. We had in mind something with storage room, rustic and cool. The first store we decided to go was Ashley Homestore. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to go Erik Wise was the employee who greeted us and assisted us and Wow!!! Everyone who knows me knows how much I valued customers service. Erik treated us like we were VIP’s so welcoming, knowledgeable, so respectful. He definitely made us feel like part of the family. I could tell the passion he has for people and for what he does. I recently visited Ashley Furniture on Hall Road, and I had a great experience. A young sales associate (Jay) assisted me with deciding whether to purchase a dining table set. I really appreciated his patience and professionalism, he was knowledgeable but never pushy or salesy, which made the whole process much more comfortable. It's refreshing to have a shopping experience where you feel genuinely helped, rather than pressured. Thank you for the great service!

Well…. I was told in store that my 300 dollar rug was going to be delivered way sooner than expected. Now supposed to be here next month. Supposed to take 2 days.
Worst experience my wife and I have ever had. First thing was we picked out furniture and thought we paid for it on our credit card. Turns out they charge it to another couples card. Then our Oder was cancelled and wasn’t notified of that. Our delivery date was March 4th we donated all of our furniture on March 3rd. I got late in the day so I called to confirm delivery and that’s when we found out. After numerous calls and different BS reasons we reorder the same furniture. Paid for it saw the charge on my credit card. Still nothing delivery was cancelled again because this time they told us it was in layaway after paying in full. Tried to cancel order completely and got the run around. Called and filled a fraud case and got my money refunded. Went to McMillin’s furniture in Yale and is was worth the drive. Ordered better quality furniture and it will be delivered in a few weeks. Meanwhile we are sitting in our patio furniture making do but this is all because of poor customer service from Ashly Furniture. My advice is don’t do business with them at all. Drive to Yale and save yourself some grief. Unfortunately I can’t give them negative stars as a review or I would.

Go here if you're a people pleaser that has a hard time getting away from pushy salesmen like myself. Went here for my kitchen table after I'd already spent a fortune on a couch (that I now hate) and a rug from Gardner White (I was followed around and felt myself panicked to buy the first couch I sat on). They allow you to actually browse and feel comfortable testing items. When I was ready to buy, I went to look for help instead of being chased. They don't stare you down and ask how it feels like they're getting off watching you 🤣. I got a really great table that was on clearance and perfect for the space I needed it for. They even helped me break it down to fit into my car and loaded it up for me. I wish I could remember my salesman's name, I'm making this post so late. He was a middle-aged black gentleman. He told me he had a daughter my age after I shared the life changes I was making and buying furniture for. I felt he treated me the same way he would have his own daughter with the kind advice he gave me. You guys rock. I will definitely be back for future needs!

Do not use Ashley. 1st whomever they use to deliver broke our landscape light and the day before our delivery of the rest of our order they canceled the delivery. Go to trusted Gardner White.

Everyone that helped me pick out my new sectional and a mattress for my daughter’s bed were very kind and helpful. They stayed in the budget that I provided which was nice.
First thing that was refreshing was not being bombarded at the door, we were able to walk around check out some stuff then was approached Ben who was super helpful and made the whole process quick and easy my husband and I weren’t in the store for more than 20 minutes and purchased a couch within the budget we set including shipping! The other positive was we would get our new couch 4 days later. I highly recommend this store and letting Ben help you out.

Just awful, got chairs home, they are not as comfortable as in store, to put the footrest down and keep it locked, you really have to almost abuse this to lock into place, bought a Protection plan and just want to exchange for something that to us is more user friendly, but was told, there is a No Exchange or Refund policy, Yet nothing on my paperwork says anything about this supposed policy. I simply want to exchange these for two other recliner/rockers but am told No, Needless to say, I will not be buying anything from this store again and IF anyone asks about ASHLEY Furniture, it is a SOLID NO---STAY AWAY AND BUY from a more consumer oriented Happy Customer store, and please dont ask me to TEXT or Call you to help with the situation, I DID, and you choose not to assist.

Pick it up yourself if you can. We had a scheduled delivery date and then were notified the day of that they didn’t have our order in stock. Customer service is garbage and offers no resolution or compensation. We have removed our old furniture to make room for the new and now we have an empty room for another WEEK!

I came in to the store with my 7yr old to find a bed he liked, when I asked where to find them i was pointed in the right direction. After a few minutes someone checked on us and I had some detailed questions which they couldn’t answer so they found me someone who could. Alec stepped in and helped find us a bedroom set that fit our needs. He was very kind and patient, and pleasant to work with from start to finish.

Jay worked with us as far as purchasing a mattress. We had gotten several quotes from different stores and we came over to the store after being at Gardner White and they beat their competitors price . Jay was very professional knew what he was doing and very courteous. We walked out very happy customers.
The sales person added a $699 protection plan to my bill without informing me. He then misrepresented the benefits of the plan. It was clearly a lie. I insisted on hearing from a manager who, in the end, did not back his claims.

My wife and I bought some couches and chairs from the Hall rd. store. Paul, the store manager, was our salesman and seemed like a nice guy. We asked him if we purchased the couches and they wouldn’t fit down the stairs, could we get a full refund? He sad yes. Sure enough they didn’t fit but, true to his word, Paul said we could pick something else or get a full refund. We found something else for $700 less and bought it. After a couple weeks we noticed we hadn’t been credited for the difference on the card. I made four calls to Paul about that and the delivery date. He returned one about the delivery date but nothing about the credit so I went to the store in person. Paul wasn’t there so I talked to Brian (manager). He said he would see Paul that night and have him call me. No call. I went back to the store and Brian said that “he couldn’t make anybody call” but he would look into it for me and call that night. He did call but to say he’s still looking into it and would “for sure” call me back the next day. He didn’t. Three or four days later the credit mysteriously appeared on my card with no further calls from Paul or Brian. We got our furniture, on the day they said, and we are happy with it. What could have and should have been a 5 star review was lowered just because some people think returning phone calls is not important. This is just simply known as customer service.
The staff was very attentive and professional. My salesman, Jay Z I believe was new to the company but he did a great job. Keep up the great work!!!!!

Jeune Williams was a terrific person to work with when buying a bed set. She helped me a lot with meeting at a sale price that was in my budget. Even though this process was frustrating because I hate shopping and spending so money she kept her patience and adapted to my needs quickly. I recommend her. She is bright and patient! I give Ashley’s a 3 star for there computer system that is what frustrated me the most! So slow and so many hiccups , something that should take a few minutes takes almost a hour it feels like. I did not like the fact that they take pictures of your ID and credit card! That is unacceptable! Ashely’s needs to Do better on exact dates of delivery not hey it will be soon it’s stocked , but be precise in the purchase and also reflect that on the receipt! They tell you this but the receipt interprets another story. That is not fair as a customer. I also want to emphasize that warranties should not be automatically placed on a customer’s order without the customer’s opinion or notification.

My mother visited twice and both times she dealt with two lazy male reps that didn’t want to do any leg work (probably needed and fast sale) and emailed the quotes we needed “that day”, Days later. With building a new home, we had to keep rescheduling the delivery and it was so easy to do so. The delivery went smoothly with live updates on where we were in the delivery time frame. The couches themselves are more firm which is to expected as a brand new product that will soften over time. They are very heavy with the electronics in them but quality is great. We will see over time how the battery power holds up. Overall very pleased with our experience purchasing through this Ashley furniture location. I do not recommend buying directly online due to return policy! Go to the store and meet with the friendly staff!
Great price but was annoyed at the length of time it took to make purchase. I’ve bought cars quicker. Seriously, we walked in store having already picked out our couch on previous visit. It took 1-1/2 hours to complete the sale and set up delivery
I would caution anyone buying furniture going to this store. We paid in full and have never experienced such an unprofessional experience. After we ordered a couch we expected a minor wait for delivery, not 6 weeks, the delivery company is trashy, rude, and completely incompetent. Our couch was delivered incomplete, with two (2) different sets of legs. After going off on the store manager and sales lady they finally agreed to drop the delivery fee, DO NOT Choose delivery or pay upfront. The management is disconnected and disengaged. Never again at this store.

Please check online prices before you buy in store. Online deals on their website are better than in the store itself, plus they would not honor my coupon that I got for signing up my email online($50 but still worth it). Delivery charge and product price higher in store.
Go Somewhere else!! Luna who sells bedding is AWEFUL! She sold me an adjustable mattress and when put into the frame the sides were so wobbly, she said adjust this thing in the corner, will it didn't work, I kept telling her I need the bars that go across so its not wobbly and she keep saying they didn't assemble it right, so I went to the store to look at theirs (5 times) and yes it was assembled correctly!! I paid for the frame and everything that goes to it, I should receive it all!! I finally had to make a scene at the store and finally after trying to tell her (and the manager) a millon times, I finally got my bars delivered!! Put them on and guess what? No more wobbles! They sold me 2 other beds with no bunky boards! Your the so called Professional, I dont know, its your job to sell me a complete bed. They sold me a king size when I wanted a queen size!! They forgot to deliver my couch, I go back to the store and there it is sitting in the warehouse! Oh, you need to fill out a "as is" form. Okay they didn't tell me when I purchased it!! When were ya gonna tell me? Next year sometime? Wth!! Delivery took 5 times cuz they kept damaging my stuff. The headboard legs were messed up, Luna says oh you just need a new post, the Delivery guy says it's all one peice and I need a whole new headboard. That Luna girl don't know crap! She just wants to make a sale. Her partner in crime, Ashlee Freeman screwed my order up has well and all these different delivery dates and no receipts for my stuff. What a nightmare! She ended up getting fired. I got charges on my bill I don't know if there legit or not cuz I don't know if they took the king mattress off or this mirror i didn't want no more or the bunky boards. I don't trust them! Save yourself the hassle, go Somewhere else!! This is only half of my story! I had to miss work 5 times as well! They should pay for my lost wages!! I ordered 3 beds and couldn't sleep in 1 of them cuz everything was all screwed up! Ashley furniture, WHAT A JOKE YOU ALL ARE! And for clearance items you pay for delivery on your separate items that are not clearance!! So I had 2 different deliveries to pay for!! I spent over $11,000.00, you would think the clearance couch i bought could be put on the same truck!! BUT NO!! I had to pay and set up a different delivery day for that couch! Which the delivery guys were like, what couch? OMG HORRIBLE!!

I need to be up front, our sales commissioner person was great. This is more of an overall experience review. Jay Hill was an awesome rep. When we walked in we first noticed the kitchen table that we were somewhat interested, in but we were shopping for a couch lol. After perusing the entire store by ourselves we were about ready to leave when I stopped back at the first table that we had saw near the entrance, and begin discussing whether we should actually purchase it or not. Jay walked over and helped clear up some questions about pricing that we had handle the transactions and all that so no problems with the purchasing or with the customer service. Just the fact that they didn't have customer service on the floor for the majority of our walkthrough. For a furniture store it felt a little off. Keep in mind it was Black Friday so. they were probably busier than normal so your mileage may vary

Went in with the desire to purchase a recliner for a Christmas gift. Was not bombarded by workers trying to sell as soon as I walked in, which I have experienced in other furniture stores so I was pleased by that. Instead I was able to browse a little until I was greeted by Joseph, who kindly led us to recliners, mentioned the Black Friday deals they had going on, and said he would be around if we had questions and he would come check in on us in a few. I was impressed by the selection as well as the pricing. We did end up purchasing a recliner which we will pick up closer to Christmas from the Warren warehouse. Overall great experience and I will be back when I am in need of more furniture!

I was pleased with the help we received, but then I discovered that the gentleman had miss lead me and said that there would be no charge for delivery...and there was....He had just moved the numbers around so it looked like there was no charge.

Terrible logistics experience. They had to come to my house 5 or more times to get our delivery completed. Their logistics teams fraudulently signed my signature on their release paperwork, delivered a bad that couldn't be slept in because it was missing the head board, and provided no solution until I escalated multiple times to management. When I called the store, the sales person who had sold me the furniture had left for another job. In talking to the manager, I was redirected to call their operations center. Absolutely no ownership of my problem from the sales team, and the operations team didn't have the proper escalation channels to address my issue without multiple calls. Do no recommend this company.

If you see my previous review we have had continuous problems with Ashley. Our home is finally fixed after damages and settlement. Although, I haven’t had working furniture since August the day it was delivered. Apparently my city is out of the delivery range so they only come this way on Thursdays. In September I booked a technician to come out on 10/24, I confirmed the technician to come on 10/22. On 10/23 they cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”. Now they say they will reach out to reschedule in 24-48 hours but, who knows when they have availability to come out to my home if the first time took a month. This whole process has been so stressful and I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. Once the store associate hands you off to corporate they don’t care one bit and don’t help. Do not buy from here unless you want months of a headache. UPDATE: They can’t come out until December 26th. I told them that was unacceptable and they finally sent an email asking if anyone can be there sooner. There’s no guarantee they won’t cancel in December and I’ll be going on 5 months of furniture not working. Ridiculous!!!!
They have the worst customer service. Spent over $5,000 on furniture. Canceled an item two weeks before delivery and the sales rep who canceled the item, didn’t cancel a mattress that went with the item. Was delivered to my home with a babysitter who didn’t know she wasn’t supposed to accept the 2nd mattress. Now they refuse to take it back. Then they delivered a bunk bed, assembled it only to realize a piece was missing, took it all back and now are coming out again. You don’t quality check before you attempt a delivery? Visited the store and was spoken to in a condescending tone by Paul and told since the mattress is in my home, they won’t take it back. My daughter has been without a bed for two weeks and now I’m stuck with two mattresses when I need one. Will never shop here again.

Today was the 1st time I've been to Ashley Furniture. I actually haven't bought furniture in 19 years and my experience today was awesome. Alex is a great salesman, very knowledgeable very, patient, he showed me everything I wanted to look at, what colors go with what all the way to measurements and rugs. I couldn't have had a better experience.
I came to Ashley store because gardner-white sold me horrible furniture.. I had to replace right after buying it. Ashley furniture promised me they would deliver my furniture and put it together.. i had to put it together and i had to help the delivery people deliver it.. but i paid for delivery. They have since tried to make that right. Other than that, quality furniture at an expensive price. Im overall happy, especially after the nightmare in gardner white 😆
Our sales person lied about the delivery date. My 1st delivery will now be arriving 4 weeks after it was promised. My 2nd delivery will arrive 5 weeks after it was promised and nothing more than “end of November” for the last piece which will mean a minimum of 8 weeks after promised delivery. I like the products but not a happy customer. Oh and the sales rep who provided his cell in case we needed anything won’t return phone calls. I will not be a returning customer.

My wife and I walked in just to dream about the furniture we were not seriously shopping for. Jay who works in the bed department approached us in the couch department and informed us about the sections of the store and let us goof around by ourselves. He kept lightly checking in on us to see if we had questions. My wife’s birthday was just around the corner and seeing their 60 month zero percent financing was kind of tempting. We came back two days later and bought a couch, ottoman, and over size chair. I made sure Jay got the sale because despite being a bed guy actually had a lot of knowledge on everything in the store was not pushy and is a very relatable guy! If you go to the Sterling Heights location on Hall Rd and want to be sure to have a good experience weather or not you buy Jay is your guy. He’s not pushy, you can text him on his work phone during business hours and he seems to want to just help and if he makes a sale then he makes a sale, which in my book is the right attitude.

After several delivery dates that were cancelled we have been waiting almost 3 months for the remaining 2 pieces of our bedroom set to be delivered. We will never shop at this store again. **BUYER BEWARE!**
I would give 0 if I could. Our delivery people damaged our house which is not the issue. The issue is trying to get Ashley to own up to their mistakes and fix it. They are taking advantage of us and trying to force a settlement that will probably not cover any of the damage. The damage to our house is quite significant and this is literally our first home. They have made this first home experience really really stressful and horrible. I do not recommend at all, please look at other options when buying furniture. I know friends who have also had trouble with the damage department and should’ve listened!!!
Worse customer service I have ever had. Do not ask for a call back about anything because you won't get it not even from the store manager. As someone else said once the sale is done if you have any kind of problem it does not get resolved and they DO NOT CARE. The furniture is nice but I just cannot recommend this place. Shame on Ashley.

My wife Carol and I went to the Ashley Store on Hall Road back in April and we had the most awesome experience. We hadn’t looked at furniture in quite a long time and wasn’t sure what we would find. Well, a very nice young lady, Itzatzuru, “Itza”, Camacho came over and helped us. She was so patient with us. She was so knowledgeable and really helped us with the perfect furniture for our family room. Here it is at the end of August and we are enjoying our family room with the new furniture. We will be back soon to purchase a sofa bed. Hope Itza is still there. Thank you.

This store has nice furniture and their staff is nice. I would absolutely stay away from this place. If you need anything fixed, their CS warranty department is the absolutely worse. I can't even stress how awful the experience has been and it's been over two months and I'm still trying to get my furniture repaired. Very poor experience with this store. We have been waiting over two months for our back ordered items to arrive just to find out after we called that they discontinued part of the order and they cancelled that order. Communication is KEY! I would not be upset if we would have been notified so we could look elsewhere or shop for a different option. But no call backs and now have to make sure we actually get all our money back. We like Ashley’s as a brand but would not step foot in this shop again after the lack of communication and respect for there customers. Do better!

Buyer Beware: Once the sale is done you cannot get help. The sale went great, a table, 4 chairs and a bench. When we put it together we were missing 2 chairs, our sale was very confusing because we had a credit for not using the purchased insurance, so this did not upset me. I called and was told my sales person would call me back, the next day I called customer service, the order was not put in correctly and it would be fixed, the following day I called the store. I was told my sales person would call me back or the person I was speaking to would call me back, I have given them 2 days to call me back. I have not heard from anyone, I still don't have my chairs and I cannot get anyone to help me.

Worst customer service and communication ever. Had my couches and dinner table delivered damaged and not functioning properly going on for two month, will be three months by the next service date. Their delivery people don’t know how to set up the furniture, the techs after have little knowledge on what they’re doing and don’t seem to want to do their job and couldn’t get the job done either. Missed the obvious chipped wood on the couches and didn’t touch up on all of it. Some said we needed parts and some said we didn’t. Not sure why all of the parts weren’t order the day we had a complaint. They’re just now ordering parts 2 months after. This will be the 3rd time someone will have to come try and get our table to function properly also. Worst customer service, hassle and inconvenience in anything I ever purchased. How does an issue take this long to resolve.
In store customer service was great, of course. Bought a sofa, love seat, and extendable dinner table. Sofa and love seat came damaged, the love seat had a broken arm rest, and delivery guy could not get my table to extend. The delivery guy said I would have to contact the Store to have them fix it. I contacted the store and they sent out parts and scheduled a tech to come out and "fix" things. The first appointment was made out 3 weeks after I got my furniture and that was only to extend my table and the tech could not get it to extend and said I would need parts ordered and I had to go through the store. Contacted the store again and they scheduled me for ANOTHER appointment and advise no parts were needed. Then put me on schedule for my sofa and love seat arm rest to be fixed only to be told the day of my appointment by my tech that only the scratches and dents in my sofa was going to be fixed when I confirmed multiple times before my appointment that the arm rest was part of the service appointment. Looked at the ticket that Ashley sent to the service tech and sure enough, the ticket says it's for touch ups for the scratches and dents. Two months later and I still can't extend my dinner table and can't get my arm rest fixed. DO BETTER ASHLEY.

I have the worst experience at Ashley Shelby Twp the people there are sooo rude I purchased living room and dinning room and cocktail table and coffee table from them and unfortunately I received some of the furniture damaged I called in the same day and set me up for someone to come and repair them of course they are not fixable because the dinning table have lots of scratch on it and one of the chair is broken and I paid over $8000 for my furniture I am expecting my furniture to be brand new so I tried to call the store and talked to Eric who sold me the furniture Ofcourse he said he wants to talk to his supervisor and get back with me Ofcourse he didn’t I texted him he never answered. Today on 6/13/24 at 1:45pm I went to the store to talk to the supervisor his name is Paul he was very very rude and start yelling at me snd shouting so loud and telling me they are not exchanging the furniture and anything in your house is your responsibility we are not taking anything back and he kicked me and my 6 year old out of the store saying have a good day have a good day anyway I’m sure they have cameras and can see what happens I’m only asking for my rights to have my furniture exchanged that’s all. I’m going to file a complain against Paul the manger he shouldn’t be in this position he doesn’t know how to treat a customer! Ashley is going to lose so much business because of Paul, his behavior is unacceptable and I’m going to work so hard to reach out to the higher people to take care of my issues. I’m really sorry I bought my furniture from Ashley and wasted my money I will tell everyone I know not to go to Ashley!!!!!

Dan W. Helped us find the furniture we wanted. It was suppose to be delivered last week as the couch wasn't going to be there until end of May. Then when I called to set up delivery, they tell me couch won't be ready until june 8th. So we set it up for yesterday. When guys got here, they didn't have tv stand and chair we bought was damaged. 24 hours later still no call from Ashley furniture nor my sales man Dan W. 😪 They made me pay right away but not addressing the pcs I don't have. I feel so disrespected. What is going on with customer service? 😕 Very sad!
I have never in my life left a review. I usually just walk away and leave it be. But we almost got scammed here today, please read. We had found a great couch that we wanted to purchase. We were told it would be 135 a month for one year with zero interest. I kept telling haithim that I did not want a protection plan, but he kept adding it to my total anyways. I continued to ask for a total monthly payment after my credit was ran, and I was told that I can’t get no interest. I asked why and he said I don’t have an answer. I have a great credit score so that was not an issue. He took me to the acima guy, who was very pushy. He made me sit right next to him (I’m a woman) and my fiancé across from him, which made me uncomfortable. He did a check to see if my paycheck goes to my account then told me I would be paying $200 every two weeks for 2 years. The couch was only 1700, that would total around 9500. I told them that was way too much and they were being pushy and even told me it’s not twice a month when it was, I saw on his screen. He finally admitted it was going to be 400 total a month and I stood up and said no. They were very pushy and tried to manipulate me when my fiancé walked away for a moment saying I was getting a good deal and they even gave me money off. We are never returning here, they tried so hard to take advantage of us. Please please if you do not know what you are doing do not agree to anything. Salesman are looking for a paycheck and see money when you walk in the door. Some people are nicer than others, but we were taken advantage of today. When shopping, be very cautious and always ALWAYS be very clear with what you are signing up for. Very nice products, terrible service I experienced today.

It was so nice just walking around and viewing the furniture and enjoying it without being smothered by the salesman. We did end up making a purchase, but it was just a pleasant experience. We hated going into Art Van, where they smothered you the minute you walked in the door. We wouldn’t even go in there for that reason. Love Ashley Furniture ❤️ My new chair!

The manager of the store, Ms. Sanchez was very rude to my family and I. We were promised a stanley cup with our order. We never received that stanley cup. When we came back and asked for me she proceeded to be very rude to my parents and attempt to explain to them basic supply and demand treating them like they are dumb. My family and I will not be coming back here and shopping here again

Ordered sectional feburary 17th...as of may 24th we still have not received our order..Ashley keeps saying it's backordered...dates keep changing and they seem unwilling to make it right...only thing stopping us from canceling is we would be waiting a month for the other sectional we liked...I do not recommend this company....
Great staff in store, terrible delivery service! My girlfriend and I just moved into our first apartment so we went to Ashley to buy a sectional for our living room. The buying process was quick and easy as we knew exactly what we were looking for, and we even spring for the white glove delivery. We were told that this would mean we would get the sectional delivered and assembled in our apartment and that they would take care of the trash as well. We figured this would be money well spent since we live on the third floor and didn’t want to have to move everything up the stairs ourselves. When the delivery guys got there, they were able to fit the smaller piece of the sectional into the apartment but couldn’t get the bigger piece through the door. I was working so naturally my girlfriend called me and filled me in on what was going on. The delivery guy told me over the phone that there was nothing they could do to get it inside without damaging the door frame. He suggested we send it back or we try our luck with a pulley system outside of our balcony to pull the bigger piece of the sectional up through there. I thought that these suggestions were absolutely ridiculous and I told the man that if he couldn’t get it inside, to leave it outside of our door and I would figure it out when I got home from work. The delivery guys left without taking any of the boxes or trash that they brought in for the sectional. Turns out, my girlfriend was able to get the bigger piece through the door no problem shortly after the delivery guys left. These men were simply too lazy to put forth the effort of maneuvering the piece differently and sliding it through the door that way. This is NOT what I paid for. My girlfriend and I ended up having to setup the sectional ourselves AND take care of the massive pile of trash that came with it. We called the store to receive a refund on the delivery charge but they were only willing to give us a percentage of what we paid for as a refund. I will never be giving this store any of my business again. While the sectional is very nice, the delivery service and customer service afterward was far below what I expected with the money I paid.

Look at, measure and feel the product but DO NOT buy in store. Almost everything you find in store is much cheaper online on Ashley’s own website. If you purchase from the store and find that prices are less online after taking possession of the furniture they will not give a price adjustment or even entertain the idea. They have a NO RETURN policy as well. So if the piece doesn’t fit your room you’re out of luck. We recently bought 6 kitchen chairs from this location at what they said is their best sale price at $212 per chair plus another $100-$200 if you wanted it delivered. However, their website had the same chairs priced at $140 and free delivery.
Check the prices online vs in-store!!! The prices in-store are higher than online. They claim they are giving you a discount but in actuality just giving you the price its supposed to be. Do yourself a favor and just purchase it online. You don't have to deal with sales people hounding you to buy right at that moment.

Furniture is on par with others. Customer service at the store was good. The problem I had was once we left the store. Tying to get thru to someone to make a change from pick up to delivery was not easy. It would have been easier if I could have just called the local store and made this change.

I think there’s still a lot of kinks to work out of their new location. The man who helped us was very friendly but unbelievably pushy even when we asked 200x to give us time to continue to look and talk. We’ve been to plenty of furniture stores and I worked retail so I get how it works but this was a level of over the top and unprofessional, that was creeping up on feeling like stalking, I’ve never experienced. The only reason we bought from him was because we already knew what we wanted. After buying our $500 coffee table, it went downhill fast. The man scheduled the delivery for Sunday the 31st which was fine. I even got a confirmation text with Sunday and the location. I couldn’t find the times of this warehouse anywhere so I called customer service -ALL automated no possible way to talk to a person and then the auto told me my pickup day was Saturday. I never got any notice or notification, nothing. I called the store and all the numbers I could find and the only way I could talk to a human was texting, which took 30+ minutes between texts. The lady proceeded to tell me this warehouse is NEVER open Sundays and I’m scheduled for Saturday. I explained the text message confirmation (sent a picture) and my paperwork that said Sunday and she proceeded to say “it’s a misunderstanding”on my part. Which, listen at this point ticked me off a little because clearly it’s a mistake on your part not a “misunderstanding” on mine. If I wouldn’t have called, I would have shown up Sunday and god knows what happens if I didn’t show for the pickup to my $500 table. Btw this conversation with her happened FRIDAY and I work Saturdays. Also this whole conversation happening between me treating patients because they had no way of having this convo on a telephone. So needless to say, the prices are fair but the overall experience was very sub par. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this specific store, I may try a different Ashley Furniture given some time.

Had a great time at Ashley grand opening in Sterling Heights. They had wounderful furniture displays and the team was very welcoming and helpful. There were lots of fun pop ups through out the store. First group through received a Stanley mug ( was nor expecting that 😍). Face painting and balloons art 🎈for the kiddos and a great coffee bar ☕️ and flower bar 💐 for the adults. Also a waffle station, churros station, and much more. Welcome Ashley you are a great addition to our community!

Delivery is preformed by third party representatives. One piece of furniture arrived damaged. Returned with delivery driver. Awaiting next steps and schedule from Ashley

The furniture is not bad but the sales staff was extremely unprofessional. We walked around the store for 20 minutes and no one even said hi and when we were finally given a sales associate she had no information for us and seemed really distracted. Don't but furniture from this place they charge you extra to put your items together. They put it together wrong and cracked it. Now it's been 6 weeks and they still have not come out to fix it. The supervisor won't return your call. Once they get your money they are done. Bad business.

My husband and I James just had the most awesome experience at Ashley Furniture store. We were only there to buy two end tables and end up purchasing more items. Matt was very welcoming and introduced us to our salesperson A'rik. A'rik was patient and thorough with finalizing our order. Also, met Bleidi who supported A'rik. A'rik has an awesome personality and pleasant spirit. Most definitely will recommend A'rik to family and friends.

What... a place... Went into just look and found a floor model that we were close to buying! Didn't have my ID so couldn't finalize the purchase. Ali was VERY helpful and kind during the process... but everyone else... not really. Blade or Blaze, one of the store managers, was running around with his head cut off (totally understandable) but he just was not kind. He'd come around to help but then leave in the middle of a conversation. We spent nearly two hours trying to get things up and running with no luck. We went in the next day, 30 minutes after opening and the couch was being sold to someone else. No big deal, but no one had acknowledged us. A different store manager came over. Super nice and fun! But the several people who had seen us the night before completely avoided us. It's also strange that in store doesn't offer the same sales online. For instance, in store a bed was 1500$ and online it was 999$.... Truthfully, it was a horrid experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I do want to say that i'm aware it's a new store with new employees, but maybe they shouldn't be on the floor alone. It shouldn't take two hours for figure out a couch when I was already pre-approved for financing.
Overall great experience. Chris and Bledi were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. Would and definitely will come back again for future furniture purchases. Highly recommend both gentlemen and the store.

I highly recommend this place over any other nearby competitor. I am very picky and was highly satisfied with the furniture and bedroom set selection from here. We had the most pleasant experience with Ali. He helped us pick out furniture/ bedroom set to help furnish our new home. From the start, he had an awesome aura about him and I knew we were in the right hands. He wasn’t pushy and listened to what we wanted. We had a horrible experience at nearby furniture place- where the sales person wouldn’t leave us alone, kept trying to upsell, and kept giving us mumbo jumbo about how busy their store is and how much the company has grown- not in anyway was it relevant. Ali made us feel like family and took care of us. The other staff we interacted with were a pleasure as well. All were welcoming and friendly. we definitely will be coming back for future needs and will be referring Ashley Furniture to all of our friends and family. I can not wait for our furniture to arrive!
