I ONLY hit 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. I ordered a new Recliner on 12-5-23 from the Westland, MI Ashley Furniture store with a promise to be Delivered 12-26-23. However, it wasn't delivered until 1-2-24. They delivered my order Broken and Damaged. I spent big money for the Zero Wall Recliner and here are the noticeable issues: 1) The entire chair is crooked / lopsided. 2) The seat cushion is caved in at the tailbone area. 3) The left arm of the chair makes a popping noise when leaned on. Upon returning to the store to seek help on the matter, I was given a phone number to the "Solution Dept" and said ONLY they can deal with my concerns after sale. I called the number & was told that they basically don't care if it was delivered broken, they have the right to repair it and I don't have a choice or the right for a refund. After much research, I learned Ashley Furniture Breached our Contract. It’s not just me, it’s thousands of other Ashley Furniture Consumers (that’s just in the USA). Most complaints are regarding Broken Furniture, Not Honoring Warranties, Breach of Contracts and using Fraudulent/Deceptive Business Practices to Cheat Consumers. I, in good faith, paid for my furniture. DSG took my money and I was left to trust they will uphold their end of Our Contract. And yet, they continue to threaten to keep my money, after their Failure of our Sales Contract 6 mths later. Check out BBB, YELP to name a few to see other (THOUSANDS) reviews like mine (& some worse). DON'T EVER SHOP ASHLEY FURNITURE!! Joan McCloskey

This store was really small but had a nice selection. The bad part is the service sucks so bad! Walked into the store without one person asking us how we were or if we needed help. There weren't even a lot of people in the store, but no one helped us. When we asked a question about a piece of furniture we just got a "no" and walked away smh. Terrible service!

Whatever Ashley decides on staff I recommend Brian to all of my friends he is professional and explains everything you need to know. Finally a friendly salesman with knowledge is a bright change in buying furniture. To bad GW Ashley has my support I am very pleased and satisfied.

Purchased a kitchen table and 6 chairs. The craftsmanship is horrible. We were picking it up from the warehouse. The salesman said we could pick it up next day, which was a Sunday. I asked "they're open on Sunday?" To which the salesman said yes. So we drove the 45 minutes to the warehouse and they were closed. Called the store and they had it delivered. We had to put it together and it was missing screws and most of the chairs either had splitting wood or not painted completely. Had to call their customer service line which is outsourced and TERRIBLE! I had to call 5 times asking for a status to which I was told, every time, that they would have to resubmit my claim. I called the store and the manager said that everyone complains about their customer service line. I was so fed up and asked if I could just return it. She said no refunds but would send a new one out. Still looked bad but not as bad. I've had it over a year but waited to post a comment to give me time to relax. The kitchen set I had before was over 20 years old and still in solid condition just didn'tmatch our newly renovated kitchen. They just don't make things to last anymore.

Jayleen was super helpful! My family came days ago and he assisted us in picking out a new sectional for our home. Unlike most people we came back, found him and ordered our new sectional. 10/10 would recommend him and this store.

I would definitely shop and buy from Ashley Furniture in Westland.

Brian Grier was amazing yesterday. He really helped us out to narrow down our choices for a formal dining set really quickly. Brian customer service skills is unmatched. He was easy going and very friendly & respectful. His knowledge of the furniture and styling was noticeable from the beginning. We ended up opening an Ashly account last night and planning to come back today for a sectional living room set from him. Many thanks!

I’ve been to plenty of Ashley furnitures around the states and let me tell you what? Wendy, was by far the best salesperson I’ve encountered. I walked in with my mind set on ONE sofa and that was it. Here comes Wendy and a little while later I’m walking out with not just a sofa, but a loveseat AND an entertainment center. Sure, I could tell she was new at her job but man, you give her some more time under her belt and you’ll have yourself a wicked sales rep. Any improvement I want to make with my future home furniture, I will be sure to stop by Ashley’s first. Thank you Wendy.

The Westland store salesperson greeted me at the door, I immediately felt comfortable & very welcoming, she was a person that just started working there & I thought she been there for years, she Listened to me to what I was looking for, she explained to me how Ashley store makes there own furniture & she was friendly & funny, her manager the guy was great as well I was very happy with the in store service, heck I even said I’m taking her to lunch she was so nice, give her a raise, however, I have not received my furniture yet, so that’s why I’m only giving 4 stars, I’m waiting on my furniture & I can’t wait 😊😊 but stay tuned for the review on the furniture arriving ❤️👍🏽…THANKS ASHLEY SALES PEOPLE 👍🏽❤️

Very attentive with no pressure

Bought a couch and head board for 3,000 dollars the couch was close to 2,000 dollars it is a nice couch and we like it but there is a pretty big hole at the corner of the couch. I contacted customer service and they are horrible with help. Just a warning if you buy furniture and it comes damaged they will more than likely not be any help with the situation and likely ignore you. For as much money as the couch was I feel like I shouldn’t have to stare at this big hole and wood being exposed when it’s suppose to be brand new, least they could do is reply but after contacting them severally times I’ve basically given up and will not be buying furniture from Ashley’s again. Customer service is horrible.

I worked here. they lie to customers about countless of things and id get in trouble for telling them the truth. they're inappropriate in more ways than one, horrible communication skills (management) and I never received my W-2 and the manager took over a week to contact HR for me and never reached back to me. Just because I am no longer an employee does not mean u no longer have a right to give me my w-2 and I know you can because if a RESTAURANT manager can send me a copy of my w-2 then so can you. now because of Ashley Furniture in Westland Michigan I am late to do taxes.

We visited This Ashley store last weekend and we were surprised with the customer service of this store compare to other Ashley's stores. Will never visit this store again. Not recommended at all.

After having a terrible experience at Ashley in Novi, my partner and I decided to give them one shot at redemption at a different location. I had called earlier in the day to explain what had happened to us in Novi and Charles was patient and empathetic. He convinced us to go into the Westland location and gave us our space while we browsed. He had to go at some point, but passed us onto his assistant store manager, Ray, who was charming and pleasant. We left with a full set of furniture and a new mattress. It was the polar opposite of our Novi experience. Would recommend anyone to go and work with Ray if you want a good deal and fun times while you shop.

I like this store and its layout. Even the staff are less pushy than at other furniture stores. That said, I never seem to find anything here that I am looking for. Maybe it's just not the place for me, but it could be for others.

I saw a lot of items that I liked, but I couldn’t even explore or ask questions without being berated by the staff. I understand they are trying to make a sale, but they made me so incredibly uncomfortable. They also made crude comments about what it was that I should buy (the need for a better mattress etc) and they kept trying to pressure me when I tried to explain I just wanted to look. I’m not sure if they are trained to behave like this, because at one point two of them teamed up for the same joke when I asked if it was offered in another colour…. All it did was make me feel embarrassed and insecure. I actually wanted to buy something today but the way they spoke and acted made me so uncomfortable I just tried to say whatever I needed to for them to let me leave.

Salesman was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to show me a wide variety of bed styles before choosing the one I selected.

Charles was very helpful and made the difference to our decision to purchase from the store vs ordering online.

we were just out burning up a couple hours before an appointment, so we decided to stop by Ashley furniture to just see what was there. We met a young gentleman named Christian, and we had no intentions at all of purchasing furniture. He was so likable and so congeal that we felt the urge to purchase furniture. When we meet people like him, we like to show our appreciation and decided to purchase. He was great!

Bought a new living room set from a really great sales associate by the name of Christian Mcclaine who was not only helpful but really down to earth, happy, and pleasant to be around :) This world definitely needs more people like Christian around!

Walked in to this store in Westland today not even intending to purchase a living room set for our new home but a sales associate by the name of CHRISTIAN MCCLAINE was so kind and helpful that I couldn’t have walked out of there without buying something from him! Sale person was great

The salesperson was very cordial and helpful. We found exactly what we wanted. Nowhere else had this family room combo and we wanted it. The thing is I am totally upset with the 450 dollar delivery fee that is totally unacceptable and ridiculous. If we didn’t want this furniture as much as we did I wouldn’t have gotten it.

We had a good experience with this location. They had what we wanted in their warehouse and got it to us in considerably less time than the website offered. We also paid less than the websites prices. Everything has been delivered and we are very happy.

The purchase experience was good. However, when I went to pick up two of my items the first sales person was not helpful at all. Told be “I don’t know anything about the item” she then walked away telling I can wheel the purchased chair to the front myself and disappeared. As I wheeled the chair I met another sales person who was on his cell phone rudely ask me “what ya going on here”? I showed him my paperwork and he went and wheeled the book shelf to the front never once getting off his important personal phone call. The customer service I received was seriously disappointing and rude.

The store has great prices and some of them offer great discounts and financing as well. You can walk through the store and find product for everyone's needs. I could put 5 stars but the attitude of the seller who helped us was kind of rude even when my kids were there watching and listening to his comments. He was really friendly at the beginning but as soon as we started the buying process, he changed his mood considerably. Maybe because I rejected the warranty and chose the pickup option instead of the delivery fees, I'm not sure why, but the fact is that the guy was not happy at all anymore. My kids and wife were confused about the way he was treating us, but I just told them that sometimes people can't be happy all the time and it reflects in the way to talk to the people around them. So, I can give 5 stars to the store and 3 stars to the customer service. Thank you for your great products! February 2024. Good luck!

Ray Smith helped me purchase the right mattress for my needs. He listened to me carefully and found the best mattress! I can't wait until it's delivered. He even sold me two wonderful pillows for side sleepers! I'm laying on it right now! Best pillow I have ever owned. It's called, Bedgear.

I was looking for a power recliner sofa and I must say the salesman was very professional. The delivery was going in 3 weeks. A competitor had the exact same sofa free next day delivery a week after I paid for the sofa. I called to cancel the order and all of a sudden they could have it there in 2 days. The next day I found out it was going to be 3 days, I cancelled the order. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting for my refund I had to call my credit card company to get a refund. I learned the hard way they're not the cheapest and they are slow with delivery and you have to fight to get a refund. If you live in Michigan shop at the 2 other furniture stores. You will get better prices and faster service

Great customer service I bought my furniture for the bedroom, dining and living room

At this time I'll share what I can. Sales in store stated you could finance for 60mo. Online you only got the opt of 6 & 12 mo. I was told prices in store are higher. They will match online prices but would not honor 60mo terms. That makes my payments almost $400 vs $40. Huge dif. I was told they could do 3 yrs if i dis the purchase by phone but then they would not honor online pricing. At this point I'm not sure I'll continue with the sale. It matters. I'll be calling today to see if there's a way to honor the financing. If not, I'll cancel the sale.

My furniture was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. They called to reschedule a delivery two weeks away! I’m having a Christmas party and already gave away my old furniture. I’m not going to have anywhere for my guests to sit! I can’t even talk to a human when I call! Trash company

furniture itself was good but three stars because of the delivery service workers were extremely LAZY and said they could not fit my modular sofa. Did not want to carry my couch upstairs or at least attempt to. All they did was look around my apartment and said “nope”. REFUSED to put the couch in my garage because I knew it would fit if my family members did it themselves. My dad ended up getting the sofa in with NO PROBLEM, one man job too, mind you there were two delivery guys when they first tried to drop it off. Very inconvenient.

I placed an online purchase on 11/14. I received confirmation that my order would be delivered on 12/12. I received an email confirmation as well as text confirmation on 12/9 that my order would be delivered on 12/12. I removed all of my furniture and waited patiently for my order. I received a call THE DAY OF MY DELIVERY after the time that my order was supposed to be delivered and told that my order was delayed. I called customer service and was told that my order was not ready. I was placed on hold for several minutes. I asked to speak with a supervisor to help resolve my issue and was told that they would call me back in 'a few hours'. I was told that there was no supervisor and that there was nothing they could do. I was also never called back by a supervisor. I then tried to call the store near my home (based on their hours that are posted online) and the phone recording indicated that the store was 'closed'. Two weeks before Christmas - I HAVE NO FURNITURE! I was finally able to get with the store and was told that they have NOTHING in house. I couldn't even pick another similar couch because they don't have anything on site. I had to go through the same warehouse; therefore my order would not be fulfilled until mid-January. How does this happen? How am I contacted and confirmed that my order will be delivered and then the day of the delivery get a call indicating that I will not receive my order for another month?! I will NEVER buy anything from this store again. Horrible communication and even poorer customer service.

My husband and I purchased a sofa from Ashley furniture. The store was great and the sales staff were great. There was a disconnect with delivery and we were going to cancel our purchase but the staff was so great we decided not to. The delivery eventually happened and we are happy with the purchase so far.

Had a great experience with Ray, Kurt, and Shayla. They were friendly, helpful, and informative! All had a great sense of humor and made the process much less stressful than usual. They are a great crew- the best I have encountered at Ashley!

Great customer service

This is the first poor review that I post but they wronged a family member by selling them a mattress with bed bugs. A private inspection was done on the entire home and discovered that the bed bugs were coming from the mattress. Store manager was contacted within a week of discovery, since he made the sale and stated they would be sending someone out to inspect it in a few days(two weeks went by and nothing happened). Poor service seems to be a common complaint here in the reviews. If you prefer to keep a clean home, do not shop here.

***DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!*****I went into Ashley completely trusting that the sales person knew what size table would fit into my apartment. He sold me a table that was way too large and on the eve of a holiday when my family was visiting. The Manager said it was ok to go over the 72 hour restocking fee and when it was time to switch it out with a smaller table, they flatly said no and that their hands were tied because they couldn't get permission to do this from headquarters like they thought they could. I also bought a picture that is still in the box that doesn't go with my room arrangement with the newly purchased bedroom set or living room set I got the same day, but they refuse to take this simple item back, as well. The customer at Ashley is clearly last. There are many other places to buy nice, inexpensive furniture. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! They are only interested in taking your money and not your return business.

Everything went very well until check out I was told that we would not be eligible for the Yeti Cooler for our purchase the store manager came out with some fine print saying we are not eligible for this very disappointed hearing this after the purchase was done. I felt we should be allowed to get this offer based on dollar amount and advertised on TV nobody said anything until after it was already bought. Other than that very happy with my purchase but not the sneeky behind the scenes of not getting the promotion you advertised. Mike

Drawers are very cheap and flimsy Ashley's Furniture has the worst customer service & during delivery my item was damaged it took them almost a month to get a replacement. If you want quality I recommend Gardener White I have never had any issues with them.

My 88 yr old father needed a lift chair. Two months ago, we went into the store, to see what they had. The sales person with the British accent told is we would need to take the chair the same day we purchased it because they wanted to “clear the floor for new product.” We didn’t have a truck so we waited until my daughter came to town, with her truck. Saturday was the big day! We went into the store and he picked his chair. We had a 20%of flyer that had come in the mail, and were so happy to know that my dad would have the chair he needed. They announced that we would need to order a chair and pay to have it delivered…eventually! I said “no,” because we were told we would be taking a chair with us! Brooke…the dipstick customer service rep…took forever asking the manager if we could take a chair with us. It was agreed upon, the coupon was adding, and then…THEY REFUSED TO TAKE HIS CHECK!!! They said the store wasn’t “set up” to accept checks!! They wanted cash or debit. I gave them my card, as my dad doesn’t have one! The check out was RIDICULOUSLY SLOW!!! The manager was too fragile to tell staff to load the chair, so I pointed a 3 male staff and said, “You, you, you…go load the chair.” After signing his life away, we got the chair home. It worked…ONCE! That’s it! ONCE! I started calling the store. No one ever answers it. I had to call their “customer care” number, where i was left on hold for over 20 minutes, TWICE!! I finally got a human who informed me that the warranty was expired because we bought the floor model. NO ONE TOLD US WE HAD THE FLOOR MODEL!!! They said they had 3 chairs left!!! I am beyond angry! Ashley furniture took advantage of my 88 yr old father!! That is ELDER ABUSE!!! I filed a complaint with BBB! I am calling news stations and everyone else i can think of for help. My father didn’t deserve this. He deserves a brand new chair or a full refund. I want negative stars to be an option for this company! They should be shut down!

This place and its employees are absolute garbage. They took advantage of my 89 year old grandfather when I took him to buy a chair. They refused to take his check so we paid for his chair with our debit cards. They gave him a broken floor model and are now saying it is out of warranty because it is a floor model. We didn't want the floor model. He paid for a brand new chair. The employees were dumb and lazy and belittling. The sales girl was bragging about using Mushrooms as her source of energy for work. They took advantage of us, they gave horrible customer service and they are frauds. We are disputing our charge with the bank and have contacted the BBB. No one in this family will ever ever use this company again. This particular store needs to go under and make their employees go find actual real work where the customer comes first. They are not done with us yet. Shame on all of you. My poor elderly grandpa just wanted a nice lift chair and paid for it and these people could care less. And the stupid sales girl acting high as a kite was degrading to me who just drove the truck to drive the chair home. Lord help her if she ever sees me again. This place is the worst.

If I could leave a zero I would. I came into this store and there were no employee present. A woman finally came out as I was standing in the middle of the store. I am not sure if she saw me or no but I doubt it. Two men came out the back after that and were pointing in my direction. I figured someone would come over but they never did. I was in the store for at least 10 minutes and no one helped me. Even as I left one of the guys was sitting down on a couch in the front texting but never looked up. So I was never greeted or helped at all and I did not appreciate it. I will not be returning.

Terrible, TERRIBLE business ethic and customer service.. Bought a $6000 tempur-pedic bed. Rodney (the salesman) told us everything we wanted to hear before making the purchase. He said that the bed would be delivered, installed and the old mattress/box spring would be removed and disposed of, in addition to any other adjustments to the frame, without issue. The bed was delivered but the crew refused to remove the old mattress and remove the base boards from the old frame. Unfortunately, I was at work during this time so my poor wife, who suffers from a hernia, was forced to move the king size pillow top mattress out of the room by herself while they stood there and watched. They then put the bed together and said the remote wasn't working. Furious now, my wife went back to the store to complain about the situation and of course they all said what we wanted to hear..."that was unacceptable, they should have done everything, blah blah blah. They "reset" the remote and said it should work now. Regardless, it should not have come to this...when she got home, the remote STILL was not working. Now she is calling me Furious once more to tell me the whole situation. I get home and do my own investigation and discover the idiots didn't connect the bed properly. So I got the bed to work myself. Onto the STILL unresolved issue with the mattress sitting in out hallway. The workers at the store told my wife to call a customer service number to resolve the disposal situation. She calls only to get hung up on 3 times, then when she does get through they said it's not their responsibility to remove the mattress and to take up with the Ashley store but they would write a ticket for someone to call us back to try and resolve the issue. No one ever called. Now I go, myself, to the store to talk to the manager. I tried to be as civil as possible while talking with Cody, the manager. He told me he was going to put in a vip request with customer service and that I should be getting a call from them within 3 hours. He also gave me his personal cell number and specifically said to text him if I did not get a call back. Well, I never received a call and when I texted him, he never responded. I texted him again the next day and again, he never responded. As a result of all of this false advertising and BS, my wife is now complaining about her hernia and has a doctors appointment to determine if it is worse. Ashley Furniture and their BS third party delivery service will be hearing from my attorney in the event that surgery or other medical issues come from this awful experience.

Absolutely THE WORST. I wish I could grade them on the basis of the worst companies on the planet and from the beginning of time. I haven’t had my bed set up in OVER ONE YEAR AND THREE MONTHS. It’s July of 2023 and I’ve been waiting since MAY OF 2022. They first brought the entire bedroom set last year in May along with PART of the bed and a BROKEN piece of the bed. Then I reported the issue immediately to the store. Ok, fine, delivery was arranged for the missing and broken pieces. And guess what? On the day of delivery day, I got a call that the driver “forgot to load the pieces”. Ok???? Then we setup another delivery date. Again, “driver forgot to load the missing pieces”. This went on for MONTHS. Then they invented a new excuse: “sorry, supply chains are backed up”. Yes, that did happen globally in 2022 and then eventually we set up another delivery date after MONTHS. And still I got a call on the delivery date or a few days before delivery: “sorry, sir, we need to reschedule.” I called corporate and discovered from them that the PRODUCT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. THEY HAD BEEN LYING TO ME FOR MONTHS. I took multiple visits to the shop and multiple calls to corporate, and each time they invented some new excuse for delaying the problem. One time, a worker at the shop said that he didn’t have access to the internal portal. Found out recently from another that he was LYING. One time at corporate, I was told that this problem can be resolved in shop. DEFLECTION. Nobody wants to WORK or take RESPONSIBILITY. ALL they do is LIE and NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. Both the corporate company and the workers! Finally, idk on which time I’ve recalled corporate, I FORCED the lady to make a TICKET to the STORE to EXCHANGE MY ITEM. She was being hesitant and was offering other ways to resolve the issue (as if anything had worked so far??). And I didn’t stop until I had that ticket made and sent to the shop. I made her make a ticket and a message for the shop to exchange our bed, and ONLY THEN did the store comply! Otherwise, each time it was like ping pong. One side didn’t take responsibility and just blamed the other party- between corporate and the Westland shop! Worthless - both of them. By the time we claim the ticket at shop and come to the shop to choose a new set, we’re told that supply chains are back to normal and the bed is back in stock! I retorted with: “I was told that the product line was discontinued altogether?” “Oh, the supply chain is back to normal and it’s in stock again.” Really? Ok, let’s get my bed then. I’m still skeptical and don’t believe a word they’re saying. Today, the delivery boys came and didn’t know about which pieces were broken or missing. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. The records have been in the system forever and Ashley’s couldn’t even relay all the information to the delivery boys who came in to build PART OF A BED. I dismissed them and said I don’t want half a bed. I want a full bed. Now it’s July, 2023, and I’m absolutely exhausted by dealing with this company. You know why I’ve been stuck with this company? Because they gave the whole set to me on credit and then sold the account to some other company. For a year, I’ve been loyally paying for the most pathetic job ever. As in, Ashley’s has NO financial responsibility once they sell a customer’s account to a third party. Ashley’s just sold accounts with a low interest to a third party and never thought twice about how to run a business. They’re just making money like a mortgaging company sells accounts to another mortgage company for a higher interest rate! Run from this business like the apocalypse and tell all your friends and family to save themselves from the worst customer service experience in human history. I already have. I think I just might sue at this point.

I rarely review. I only do so when I receive very good service or when I feel wronged by a company. In this case, I believe we were misled, or lied to. We paid for white glove delivery (includes assembly) due to our current medical conditions but we got a door stop delivery. They also showed up a week after the scheduled delivery date even though the sales rep said they’ve been on time 95% of the time. I called the store back and they would not send someone out to assemble it and they would not refund us the delivery charges. On top of this, we could’ve saved a few hundred dollars by ordering the same exact products on Ashley’s website for cheaper but we decided to buy it from the sales reps to give them the commission. If I were you, I would not buy from this store or the sales reps at this location.

TERRIBLE! PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING HERE! They sold me a defective sectional with a poorly cut, creaky frame and refuse to cover it under warranty even though I reported it within days of purchasing it. I only asked for that one piece to be replaced, not the entire sectional, but they won't budge. DO NOT BUY HERE. 0 stars should be an option. Inexperienced and deceitful sales team. We bought a couch in February, sat down with the sales representative Brandon. We went over specifically what we wanted out of the couch, we were budgeting over $2,000. Big purchases like that require some specific needs/wants. Brandon advised us that the couch had everything we needed. Said the couch order needed to be placed online, fine. Should have been a red flag when we noticed he didn't even understand the way the system worked. Nonetheless, trusted our sales rep that our needs were met. Because why not trust people, right? Wrong. Couch was delivered, far from what we wanted. Ashley's DOES NOT HAVE A RETURN POLICY. Instead we did a "return and replace", is their way of keeping your money policy. Got a nightstand instead. The price of the couch was removed, however the "white glove delivery fee" is still charged on our account. We've called customer service for the past 4 months with no resolution (unable to get into contact with the store). My husband went into the store March 21, he spoke to Cody (store manager) and was told the white glove delivery fee would be removed once the couch was returned. Once again, couch was returned, and we still have the $320 white glove delivery fee on our account. We're beyond frustrated, this has been such a disappointing experience. This company uses deceptive advertising, "America's #1 Home store", more like "America's Worst Home store". Do yourself a favor, don't shop here.

Terrible terrible horrible customer service. Called them three times did not answer the phone. Called customer service they couldn’t find the order. Had to go in person and they were insulting and terrible. Never buying from them again.

The salesperson that we dealt with (Taylor) was pretty good but seemed kind of inexperienced. However, the checkout process was really really bad - took us almost 45 minutes to go through the checkout process (more time than we spent choosing furniture!). The delivery process was not smooth as well. Everything was supposed to be delivered on the same day, but came in different batches on different days. The customer service rep had no idea as to how to track our items. We then learned that one of the items (a bookshelf) was on back order and would be delivered a month later! Something that we were not informed of when we bought it. I asked that a supervisor call me about that and no one did! Overall - not a good buying experience from Ashley!

Got exactly what I wanted for $220 cheaper than it was online. Even though they didn’t have the item in store they pulled up the instruction booklet to answer all my questions and ensured there was one in stock before placing my order. The whole process was quick and painless. I was in and out within a half hour.

Salesman Mark Phillips from the Westland, Michigan Ashley home store told me Ashley would remove my old mattress when my new mattress was delivered. The delivery refused to take my mattress and said that was not in there deal with Ashley. I paid $240 for delivery and removal of my mattress. I even had to help bring in the mattress as only one person was delivering it. Mark Phillips lied to me and continues to lie by saying he gave the delivery guy a bag to put my old mattress in to take. I called the delivery guy and he stated that was a complete lie. I have requested that Ashley’s have either remove my mattress or refund me my delivery fee that I had to pay to help move my own mattress in my house. Beware.

Place is a clean place to help was very courteous and helpful I purchased a coffee table plus Tony and Mark very helpful especially when it came out to the beds they were very knowledgeable took their time explaining everything it was a pleasure .

I love my Tulin reclining sofa in chocolate I love the color its beautiful,and so comfortable and the delivery guys were amazing they really went over and beyond to make sure I was satisfied!!!!! I will come back to Ashley's for all my furniture needs ! Thank you for a wonderful experience

Walked in the store , what appeared to be workers were sitting down on their phones, my sister and I spoke and the sales men or employees, they did not speak back instead they looked down at their phones. We turned around and walked out the door. No problem because you guys get paid off commissions 🤷🏾‍♀️ and no one was lined up to go into that store, again ok…🤷🏾‍♀️

The worst experience I have ever had in a furniture store. The staff was rude and condescending. No one greeted any customers walking in the store. I personally told each employee, Have a Great Day! Customer service is not a priority here. Spend your money at another location, try the one in Novi! They are always great I will continue to shop at that location. Never again!

Finally got my bed the other day. Placed the order in June of 2022, final piece was delivered on 3/21/23. We ordered furniture based on what was in stock at the time. Wasn’t informed of the back order of the bed until a week after it was supposed to be delivered. Overall the company is terrible at communication, had to drive to the store multiple times to get an answer. They don’t value the customer, seems like a company full of people just collecting a paycheck. I’ve been a logistics manager in the past who had teams all across the state doing custom appliance installs and an even larger team making deliveries to our customers. Everything I experienced with Ashley was what we aspired and trained not to be. They use 3rd party delivery guys, most National companies use 3rd party contractors. I’ve even used plenty in the past. But Ashley doesn’t train or hold them accountable to clean up after themselves, install all the parts, or even provided with booties for their boots. I had styrofoam bits, lock washers, grass, dirt all over my carpet. I had to go to the hardware twice to grab new washers and bolts since they were not delivered with the furniture. On the delivery that was just completed they dinged my wall. ( I get things happen, just the icing on the cake). I should have listened to reviews, save your heartache, spend a little more money at a smaller local furniture company. I wish I would have. I’ll never buy from Ashley again, and will be certain to tell anyone who asks not to shop at Ashley. I’m actually relieved I don’t have to communicate with them anymore. Update from their reply the other day. Sent a text yesterday, no reply. Sent an email to the email address they provided, got a notification that my email couldn't be delivered.

Very informative and loved the energy of our salesman Rodney. We are happy with our purchases and received them within three days of ordering.

Sales representative was very helpful and tried his best to get us what we wanted. The company itself has many deals and promotions that kept going away the more we were going to spend. We started at a $4,000 couch, and qualified for promotions, but when we got to $10,000 on entire living room, we didn’t fall under any of the promotions anymore.

Brandon was very professional, efficient, and patient. I appreciate that he showed a sincere concern about the furniture I was buying and how to get what I want within my budget.

Extremely overpriced place. They sell you on how much credit they're willing to give you, which is basically just them saying 'yes, we'll give you large credit so you can pay off this absolutely ordinary and overpriced item.' The customer service is trash, also. Before you buy they pretend to be super friendly, but once you have order issues, they're useless and rude. I ordered a bed, which was a few months out on delivery, which was fine. But when it finally showed up, half the bed was missing, it was borderline impossible to get this resolved over the phone/online. They got my email AND telephone number wrong, took me 4 separate contact times to get it resolved. They tried telling me the delivery people had confirmed ALL the correct parts showed up so there was nothing they could do lol. So I went to the store and the person admitted they had forgotten to reorder the correct parts, which shows the person through text were just trying to get rid of me. Then when the correct parts DID show up, they wanted to take away all the parts I had and not give me all the correct parts back. Delivery guys blamed the store, the store blamed the delivery guys. It was a pretty bad experience. I tried to remain patient but it was a struggle. Don't recommend this trash place at all.

If I could give no stars I would. The delivery guys brought my daughter's bed, which has an adjustable base. They also brought a bunky board to set the base on, however, they said it was not needed. My daughter's frame originally had wood slats and they just put the adjustable base on the slats. They said it would be strong enough. They said to not raise the head or the foot of the bed up for 5 hours because the mattress was frozen. After 5 hours was up, my daughter laid on it and raised the head up..it was then that we saw the slats were bowing. Not safe for her at all. The driver was also very rude.

Yesterday I had a service person (Tom) from the Westland Ashley store out to my house to make some repairs on our bedroom furniture. Tom arrived on time, introduced himself and explained what to expect during the service call. The repair was completed in a timely and professional manner. Tom was very polite throughout the process and was an excellent representative for the Ashley brand. Thank you Tom

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!! I never received all of my order, I ordered in October 2022 and now it’s February 2023! No call back on the item I am missing! Everyone has been giving me the run around! I will never refer no one to buy from Ashley Furniture PERIOD!!!!!!!!!

Do not buy from Ashley. Every item of our $5500 order is damaged, they forged my wife’s signature and said we accepted the furniture so there is nothing they can do . Won’t call us back and have lied to us constantly. Delivered wrong table twice now , headboard is cracked in half and glued back together poorly. Night stand is delaminating and huge chunk out of dresser that was painted over . Tv stand is chipped and cracked, bench is scratched and has gaps in the joints . Sales man lied about return policy and over charged us twice that we had to get corrected. Once they get your money ,they no longer care about customer service . Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with , we will be taking them to small claims court as well as letting everyone know our experience with Ashley and the poor service and quality.

As you entered the store, we were greeted with a smile and were asked what we needed help with. The atmosphere was welcoming with warm soft music and kind and friendly staff. They were not pushy to make a sale, but made us feel like they cared about what we were looking for and guided us in the right direction. From the manager to the rep who helped us with our purchase, we felt welcome. Our 1st time at Ashley but it won't be the last time.

Do not buy from here. Worst service I have ever received. Damaged items over and over. I'm now waiting on my 3rd bed because the first 2 were damaged. One was cracked in half and they glued together and tried to deliver like that. Every single piece has damage and they are trying to tell me that's normal. Horrible experience. Do not buy from here!!!

Worst purchase experience ever. I bought 2 rugs from this store. I only received one of them. My receipt says 2 rugs and they charged me for both. However their records shows only one was ordered. I called many times and went to the store and they kept telling me they can’t offer any help. This is apparently a spam. Never buy from this store.

I wish I could give a higher number of stars, the Westland staff were helpful prior to the sale but customer service from corporate related to delivery and assembly issues is poor. Store personnel can't help with these issues at all and refer you to the 1-800 number. I have made 2 major purchases with Ashley in the last 9 months. The first issue was with a dresser that did not have holes predrilled for a mirror. We took care of it ourselves and I figured it was a one time thing. I am in the midst of a second order that has been a real pain to resolve. The hardware for the bed I ordered did not fit properly and I was told by the delivery contractor that they would report that there was a hardware issue and new hardware would be sent to me within 7 days. I didn't want to reject the order and was advised not to. 13 days later, still no hardware and customer service tells me that no hardware was ordered. Lets not even talk about the grief I am getting related to white glove service on an order that is coming in pieces. Even though I like their products, I will not be buying from Ashley in the future based on these experiences.

Purchased stuff before thanksgiving, still not delivered. Dining table delivered broken, eac time a single chair delivered, still waiting for another chair, no response to repair or replace. The most horrible purchase of my life. Public stay away from Ashley and you will be far happy buying from elsewhere.

We originally purchased 2 tables and sets of chairs for our new home. The customer service rep was informed that I only wanted options in things that could be delivered prior to the Thanksgiving holiday (about a 2-3 week window). We were shown a few different options and we made our selections , placed the order and again were assured that timely delivery would NOT be an issue! When it came time to confirm delivery is when things went down hill. I was told that I wouldn’t have a delivery date until after Thanksgiving and I explained that this was discussed prior to the purchase with the sales rep. The customer service person on the phone with me was the most unprofessional “service member” I’ve ever spoken to and ended up telling me to either cancel the order or wait. When I said that really shouldn’t be your best option, she hanged (correct word there) up on me! I then went to the Novi location and spoke directly to the rep and it just wasn’t good. He back peddled and tried to talk his way out of the mess he created. I cancelled the order and went to a different Ashley furniture where I ordered the same exact things and was able to get the order cheaper….weird! The delivery was still an issue because we still didn’t get our order for over a month! I will have to truly think twice before using this company again and I’m a return customer where my time isn’t wasted! I would honestly look elsewhere before purchasing again.

Stylish and inexpensively priced furniture. Local salespeople were friendly. Took some effort to get prices to match what was advertised in store and learned that some pieces are cheaper online, but they are suppose to price match. Holding up so far, but it's only been 2 months. Super disappointed with their corporate customer service. You can only reach out to them by calling and you might get a poor connection and need to call back. It took 5 deliveries to get all of my furniture as it came damaged and the exchanges took multiple attempts as the replacements either were not all sent or came damaged. I called and asked about a discount for all my troubles of needing to sit home and wait for my furniture and was told they would give me $35, better than nothing and best I was offered after multiple attempts. When I called to see where my discount was, the agent told me I needed to call right when my furniture was delivered for a discount as my order is now "closed". I did call when it was delivered. I was not happy with what the agent was able to offer so I requested a call back from a supervisor multiple times which never happened. Ashley dropped the ball and now they refuse to give me a discount. I'm extremely frustrated that I get a different answer every time I call and that the agents are not able to do anything without the supervisor's approval, yet I can't reach a supervisor to come to any sort of compromise. I think you can do better Ashley!!!

We were quite satified with the sales rep and the details he provided. It was a comfortable environment to shop in and didn't feel like we were being rushed or pushed into anything.

They delivered my bedroom set but not the nightstand and said that it would come in until after January. That's not what was promised. To top it off, they didn't even put the bedroom set together and claimed that they were told not to put this order together even thoughI was told this would be assembled for me. I'm still trying to put it together as I'm typing this. I will never purchase anything from tis store again and I will tell anyone looking for furniture to not consider this place. If I wanted to put it together myself, I would've went to Ikea.

I received the wrong mattress this was a black Friday Sale . Salesman wrote the wrong order # down. I was supposed to receive the Sealy Brenham Firm Hybrid. They delivered Sealy foam firm(Albany). I can't sleep on that mattress it makes my back hurt I'm sick and in need of my correct Mattress.******

Not happy with any service member after my furniture was purchased in store. I ordered a sectional back in September 2022, which took several deliver attempts due to the company’s lack of communication! They would call to confirm a delivery date that I picked only for the day to come and them to say that was incorrect and shouldn’t have been sent! Even with a verbal and email confirmation. So far today, I’ve only received a part of the sectional. The other part was supposed to be delivered today, I chose today out of the only two day options they gave. I made this reservation with a live person over the phone, confirmed with the automated service, and received an email the night before. Made the proper arrangements to avoid a missed delivery only for me to call and they say they don’t have anything on file!!! The person over the phone tried to tell me that IIIIII did not confirm, so they canceled the delivery, and that it was not wise of me to take off of work to be home for the delivery! Smh now I have to wait another week for them to deliver the second half of my sectional and call them myself to confirm more than I already confirmed in the past. Also, the sectional piece that I received was wrong, it is a right side piece when I ordered a left side piece! Not to mention the piece is very hard and uncomfortable, but while I tested it out in store the sofa was soft and cozy. Smh I would never again order from this company!

Buying from this store was one of the worst experience of my life. Three weeks ago I bought mattress from them, they told me the delivery date was on 12/2 I had to call off from work and stay home because the window for the delivery was from 9 to 12. At 11:45 I received a call, saying the mattress is not gonna get delivered for unknown reason. I Called this Ashley store probably seven times that day with no answer, i left voicemails I tried everything with no luck. Next day I called them someone picked and she told me tell me in an hour the store manager will give me a call. There was no call back that day. After trying to call their phone 10 time I finally spoke to a manager. The manager literally told me that he don’t know where my mattresses and they been waiting for the warehouse to update notes.(till this day nots have not been updated ). The manager suggested that it might be in the warehouse. So I offered to pick it up because he said it would be ready. I rented a truck and five minutes before I got to the warehouse. I received a text message from them saying that the mattress is not ready for a another week. I called the store they were no help. Been almost 6 days with no answer. I finally returned it and went to a different location. Long story short just avoid the headache and inconvenience and go somewhere else. The staff that I was talking to they were polite but clueless.

This store is pathetic , we ordered a side sofa table from them , as it was froms tore we requested them diantle it to fit in our car and by the time we came home and started to assemble , the parts were broken . When we mentioned them that the side table has broken parts they are informing us they can't do anything they gave what they had in store . They don't cover any guarantee ...chea quality horrible customer service .

The Worst Company Ever is Ashley Furniture n’t received all of our furniture as of yet. They continue to blame the delivery issues on COVID. When we went to the store, they said everything was in stock. So how can there be a delivery issue if everything is in stock. That’s why we chose the items that we purchased. So that we wouldn’t have any issues. As we continue to call and speak to managers, supervisors, and people in charge of delivery. They all continue to blame each other department in regards to why we still have not received all our furniture. Each department is pointing fingers at each other and not trying to help us get our furniture. We’ve had some furniture delivered that was damaged. We are still waiting on replacements for the broken furniture. If it wasn’t for Tanesha, we wouldn’t of gotten this far. Everyone else keeps giving us the run around. It’s time for Ashley Furniture to own the Mess they have made of this and FIX THIS!!!!! If they can do this to me a paying customer, imagine what your experience will be like. Don’t buy from them.

My sales person, Kyle, was great and deserves 5 stars. He showed me lots of different options and then made some great suggestions. He was polite and professional. The manager, however, was extremely condescending to Kyle and me. He never smiled, introduced himself, or looked me in the eye. His choice of old school hip hop playing on the speakers for Black Friday was also completely inappropriate for the setting. He deserves zero stars.

Stores like Ashley furniture really makes me wish Art Van survived because when they went down apparently customer service as well .. not only did we have a botch delivery but we have to go pick it up ourselves and the process is so inconvenient. Do yourself a favor and consider another furniture outlet. They will tell you anything to make the sale but when it comes time to deliver they will not... Be warned!!! I wouldn't buy a staple let alone buy furniture from them Update to complaint: So I was asked to text their customer service department, which I did.... And the issue has only became worse. We were told that we would get our delivery fee and a inconvenience fee, however that never happened. In fact every time I asked for the status, I would get the same "please allow 4 to 6 weeks to process your refund" and this has been going on for at least 8 weeks now. I am all for giving second chances but the lack of accountability is too much for me to want to try them again. Imagine having to pay a delivery fee for something you have to rent a U-Haul yourself to get! If you want furniture either have a lot of patience or go else please for the love of all that you hold dear!

I have been in and out of the store several times. Never once felt pressured into buying anything. The shopping experience was not stressful. Brandon took the time to explain give suggestions and ideas on how to furnish each room in my home. Today I finally shopped for 4 different rooms in my home! If you’re looking to shop at ease and with a Sales rep that is knowledgeable of the merchandise in their store and ONLINE . Set up and appointment to meet with Brandon or better yet just walk in and ask for him! Thanks again Brandon I will definitely be back soon!

The sales people only care about you if you are going to buy something. It was really windy the day I came in and when I walked in the door, the wind blew a lamp off a table in the entry way. I jumped to catch it and I did. I placed the lamp on the floor so the wind would not do it again. I went into the store and told the sales people what happened and they looked at me like I was crazy. No "thank you", No cares at all. They did not even check the lamp or move it. Next day when my son went to pick up furniture, we found out why nobody went into entryway to check lamp. They told my son that he would have to carry the furniture all the way through the store to the back and they could not go through the front because every time the door opens, it is counted and they have to make a sale for every entry. The salesman said they would wrap the furniture, but they did not. The sales people did not even off to help them carry out of store. If you want to have terrible service, shop at Ashley.

Do not waste your time and money. We order our bedroom set in July and we still do not have our bed. They promised at the time of order it will be delivered in a month. After month they delivered wrong bed, nightstands are damaged, mattress base is damaged. When you call them they keep giving you different numbers for repairs and service. They do not coordinate and take responsibility after things are delivered. At the time of purchase, they will promise all good things and once they got the sale they do not care.

Don’t buy anything from them they have a really bad service and I have been waiting for my order to come since August and I still didn’t receive anything from them and they keep telling me that my furniture is coming in a week and then after they make up excuses.

Poor service. Wrong item ordered by sales person. Waited four months for the item. Found it was ordered wrong. Accepted it as was coerced into it being correct color due to lighting in showroom. Absolutely not the item ordered. Refused to refund our money. They Did not place reorder by customer service as stated the next day. Returned item to store they refused to give credit. Not once did they say we’re sorry. They only said what couldn’t be done. No I can’t return it. I must keep it until other item arrives maybe in three weeks. Not willing to get wrapped up into a waiting game again due to original chair was to be delivered by end of July it took until October 11 to get the wrong item ordered. They say sales final. Watch the fine print. They can order anything they want make you sign thinking they might have written the correct item. You don’t know it until it comes. Is it customers responsibility to make sure the SKU number is correct on an invoice?

Rodney the store manager was very welcoming and helpful. Allison store associate was sent to also help us with questions we had about the furniture we were interested in. She answered all of our question and then some without hesitation. Allison was very pleasant to deal with. My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the furniture we choose and with the knowledge of the sales people. We highly recommend the Ashley furniture Store in Westland.

Ordered a bed frame from here, was told it was going to be a month. After multiple delays, 5 months later finally scheduled a pick up. Arrived at the warehouse and the order wasn’t there. Then set up delivery 2 separate times and both times were canceled for some reason. We still never received our bed frame 6 months later with no idea when it will come in. Do not order from here. Ashley’s will take your money but will never give you your furniture.

My boyfriend and I are moving in together and decided to come here to choose our furniture. We are very impressed with the customer service and how helpful EVERYONE inside the store were, especially Brandon and Tae. We feel great about the furniture we picked and things we will come back to in the future.

My family and I just moved across country and needed furniture. We’re not a big family, but…complex? We have a toddler and I’m in a wheelchair. As soon as we arrived, we told Brandon our situation. He showed us the sets that had what we needed. He showed us sets that were easy to clean (toddler) and easily accessible (me). He went above and beyond for us. This is a HUGE thank you to him and everyone there who made a daunting task easy.

Was told in store it would take 3-5 weeks max for my order to come in so I decided to go through with my purchase. It’s been 7 weeks, I call in to check on my order, they tell me it’ll be another 3 weeks and could take up to 16 weeks. Costumer service on the phone cut me off while talking and decided to hang up the phone. Never again.

Allison is by far the best salesperson I have experienced in any situation. She knows the store and the product like the back of her hand. Some of the newer furniture does things I had no idea were capable. She demonstrated everything we asked about, as well as offered ideas to solve issues. We will soon be needing more furniture and I will never buy from anyone else. If you need furniture, or just ideas she is the best.

I wish if i can add zero star for them be ware from ashley when you buy from them they have no return policy when you recieve your item no return and the stor manager will tell you its writin in our policy and its your problem you didnt read it and when you ask them they tell you you have 30 days never buy from them again

Do yourself a favor and don’t even enter the store. I’m a veteran with severe injuries and tried to get something nice that’ll comfort my body. The Westland location in particular shouldn’t even be around. Their furniture in the store is different from how it will get delivered - color, material, everything. Once my couch was delivered came, They tried not to set up the furniture. I have ripped items also I called Westland's store and the manger just cuts me off and passed the puck to guest services. After spending 4 days trying to connect with a manager, they had excuse after excuse. Don’t buy anything from here.

Bob was very helpful. Within 2 hours, helped me find 2 bedrooms sets and a living room, set up delivery and finish the checkout process.

I bought a recliner and it was delivered two days later broken. So I went back and bought another recliner that was slightly more expensive. Its been over two months and I have still not received it. I’ve heard some people waited 4 months! Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere because they have a no money back policy. So they’ve had my $700 for 2 1/2 months and I have no furniture. And no idea when it’ll arrive.

My fiance and I bought a couch from here. We paid extra for their Red Carpet Delivery. When we purchased the couch we were told it would be delivered at a certain day. Two weeks later they actually contacted us to set up delivery. When they finally delivered the couch they broke a decorative planter I had in my front yard. During delivery the guy told us that there was a piece missing and that our couch wouldn't connect together. After my fiance confirmed that that was what we ordered they set it up and left. That night we quickly realized that they sold us two pieces of a sectional that didn't actually fit together so now our couch is constantly sliding apart anytime we sit on it. I don't recommend anything about this company.

Ashley furniture cheap. I bought a $3000 bedroom set, dresser, chest. Bed rail broke after a year. Defective. Ashley did not stand by quality they promote. Had to buy a new rail and have to install myself. I had to call their customer service department to order the part which took 45 minutes on the phone and three representatives to accomplish. Then they told me I had to drive to the Ashley showroom to pay for the part. The show room staff had no idea how to create a parts invoice. Ugh! No one knows when I should expect the part. I must say that is the first time I was ever in a furniture store to buy a part and not furniture. lol Bad experience. Will never go back.

My experience was wonderful. My salesperson, (Bob), couldn't have been nicer. He went out of his way to see that my purchase went perfectly. And he did it with smile. Outstanding sales person. This is rare today in retailing, The 2 young women at the front desk, again, couldn't have been nicer. They were a treasure. They both treated me like they appreciated my business. We even had a few laughs together. Very special people, they are a real asset to the store. My only issue was with the store Manage. I was introduce to her and she hardly looked up to greet me, she never even cracked smiled. She just had this sour look on her face. She gave me the impression that she didn't care to meet me, or that I was even there. This somewhat disturbed me. And it takes a lot to disturb me. If she's not happy with her job, my suggestion is that she should look for a job elsewhere where she can miserable and and make everyone miserable right along with her. Bob should be the manager. With his personality, he could change the whole atmosphere of the store in no time.

Bob was great! Didn’t push or pressure us. Just showed us our options and checked in on us. The price we ended up with was so great that I had no problem springing for the warranty and white-glove delivery.

I bought a couch did not fit through the door returned it took a month and a half to get my refund had to call 5 times.

Do not waste your money on their furniture. It is poorly made. The sofa we purchased was delivered and was missing a couple of legs. We contacted the store immediately and was advised that they would order them. Don’t waste your money on fabric protection. We ordered and it was never registered. We have made numerous calls to the store, stopped in several times and they could not find any info. The fabric protection company would not respond to our calls. Horrible customer service! On top of that the fabric is pilling and looks terrible. Still no legs. It’s been over a year. To add insult to this purchase, we filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. An Ashley rep had the nerve to say we waited too long. The warranty is no longer effective. Save yourself money and grief. Avoid them at all costs!

Worst customer service experience ever. I will never step foot in that store again. Sales rep was good with us in the beginning but instantly changed once we tried to negotiate the price. We were prepared to pay the price he was set on until his demeanor and attitude changed. Never shop there if you’re looking to find reasonable prices and employees who can tolerate price negotiation. We were very nice throughout and were smiling even with his horrible attitude.

Had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture. Sales and the actual store is fine but the customer service is ridiculous. Ordered a bedroom set, not one but both dressers came damaged. One dress has a hole in the back and in the bottom. The other dresser had two drawers that didn't open and had damage to the front. Put in an exchange for both and only had one to be replaced. Finally the second dresser comes, and it's damaged, AGAIN! A giant hole in the back, I did not even allow it come in my house. Spent over 30 mins in silence with the customer service representative, waiting to speak to the "manager". They only gave me 10% of the item since I am not returning the whole bedroom set. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN! What a joke of a company.

I really had a great experience and we love the furniture we’re getting however we were lied to about the time frame of the couch getting delivered from day 1. This was our our main concern with going into the furniture store. My wife and I just moved and have barely any furniture and we told the salesman that we were expecting in about 2 months so we couldn’t wait any longer than that. We found a couch we liked and he went and checked and came back that 2 out of 3 pieces were available ASAP but one piece would be 4-5 weeks. After a week goes by I had a bad feeling so I checked online and online it said 8-12 weeks. I waited 4 weeks (today) and am being told by a computer on the phone another 4-6 weeks which I’m sure will just go up. And to late for when our child arrives..We would have chosen something else had we known about the delay. I can’t recommend a company or let alone a salesman(KJ) when they are lying about the 1 thing we asked them. I will update my review if it comes in sooner than expected. **edit after their reply** I texted that number and they just tell me the expected delivery date and they can’t help with anything else. So that is not an escalation number 😂 waste of time again. 2nd edit**** still no furniture it’s been over 9 weeks when again KJ said 4-5 😭 and they keep pushing it back 2 more weeks when the due date is close. I’m going up there to cancel my order. 3rd edit*** as of 6/6 I told them to cancel my order. 4 weeks turned to 8 which turned to 12. I am dumb enough to keep listening to them pushing it back one week at a time. Horrible company I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to shop here. 😂😂👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 AND DEFINITELY DO NOT SEE KJ IN SALES

Straight liars. Was told items were in stock and given delivery date estimate. After delivery being pushed back twice finally called and was told they didn't have all of our items and didn't know when they would have them.

Before I write this I just want to make it known that I am not one to post reviews or give a negative rating to a business. When I went to Ashley I knew exactly what dining table I wanted. I was approached by a worker, he gave me the price, and I told him I wanted it. I asked him how long it would be before I can pick up my table. He said 3-4 weeks. I purchased my table in January … it is now the end of April. The time it took is not what got me to go on here and write this review. For the past few weeks now I’ve been calling Ashley’s to check the status of my table and each time I call they tell me “it should be here tomorrow”. It has become extremely frustrating to hear the same response every time. I understand that furniture is taking a lot longer than usual to arrive but it’s ridiculous at this point. I paid almost $2000 for this table and keep getting the run around.

Worst customer service i have ever received. I have a manufacturer defect with my bed frame. Called and created a ticket, the technician never came out and cancelled my ticket the next day stating it wasn't and defect. Not sure what else it is when your bed frame rail will not stay latched in the headboard and footboard. Terrible.

Our couch kept getting delayed when the sales rep said we wouldn’t have any trouble and then when it finally came after four months it was damaged so then we had to go through the whole process again.

I was reluctant to make a purchase from here because of all of the bad reviews. In my case somehow things just worked out I suppose. I placed the order online after viewing the item in the store. (Maybe online is the better way to go 🤷‍♀️). I was made aware the couch I ordered was on back order and that it would take a few months to receive it. They placed a hold on my card for the amount of the purchase until the couch actually arrived and then processed the payment once I received it. The couch was in stock and delivered in the time they stated. And the delivery people communicated well about when the couch would be delivered. It actually arrived about 20 min early. So far the quality of the couch is exceptional. I have a rambunctious 11 year old son and a 100lb black lab. We eat on the couch, sleep on the couch, it has a very good quality memory foam, and is is really comfortable. So far it is holding up to all the use really well.

My first experience with ashley home store has been a horrible one. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, EVER! I walk in and ask what king bed sets do you have in stock? The employee shows me a handful and then says the one you like we can have delivered in about 7 weeks. I said that’s not too bad and purchased the bed set. 24 weeks later, I have not received ONE update from Ashley. Not one call, email, anything to say there has been a delay as I’m already pass the 3.5x expectancy to delivery. Eventually I get tired of calling and only getting an automated system so I go back to the store. As they try to sell me something else I immediately tell them I already have a order that I’ve been waiting on forever. I need an update. The man points me to the help desk and the lady says everything, but your slats are in stock so we’re waiting on those to schedule delivery. I responded with I’m ordering a powerbase for the bed so the slats aren’t needed immediately. You can deliver everything else (king bed frame, nightstand, dresser, chest, etc) and just contact me when the slats come in. She says the earliest availability is in 5 days, I take it. They then contact me 6x in 24 hours to confirm delivery the weekend before the delivery. I confirm delivery multiple times. On delivery day, I’m up at 7am waiting for Ashley to come. As hours go by and I do not hear from them, the track my truck button is not working, I call them at the end of the delivery window. After getting the run around for 15 minutes I eventually get to a young man who tells me none of my items are even in stock yet and aren’t expected to be for another week! I tell him I was just in store last week and they told me face to face that everything but the slats were in stock. He said that is incorrect. When were y’all going to tell me you weren’t coming for my appointment? You contacted me 6x over the weekend and didn’t think to mention any of this!? He said I thought the store would have told you … Another 2 weeks have gone by and guess what, still no updates. Place is a massive waste of time with the worst customer service in the business.

She gave me time to find exactly what I was looking for, assured me she would be right back to to assist me asap, and did just that. She sat down explained the the entire process in detail and even had a few laughs with my son. The items I picked were not scheduled to arrive for 2 1/2 weeks ..... It was delivered to my door in 7days. The delivery men were professional and courteous. . All my items were exactly what ordered with had no damage. Not much to say except same ole treatment. Went in with $5000 in my pocket to spend and no one approached me for 40 minutes. I was the only customer until a couple walked in, and they were immediately approached and helped. You never know who's walking into your store, or who is really ready to lay down some money to buy something. The last 30 seconds someone spoke to me as I was leaving and of course I told him it was too late. I purposely took 2 more walks around the store and made sure to stand in front of every sales person I saw, just to make sure I gave them ample opportunity before I left. They lost that $5000 that day.

Ashley is going to be my new furniture store to shop at. My dad took me here for the 1st time and I was impressed by the quality of furniture and the prices.

Promised me one price then after approval for a card tried to charge me more. Didn't give me their new much higher total until they had already asked me to pull my truck up for loading with my items by the door. Most likely to make me pay it anyway as all of my items were already packed up and they had already run my credit. When I told them the price they discussed with me in the very beginning the salesman tried to say that it was my misunderstanding even though the 2 people with me heard him say the same discounts multiple times. When they confirmed that he was in the wrong all I got in return was him throwing his hands in the air saying "well I guess that was my bad, cancel the order guys" and to the back of store. No offers from the manager to try to make things right, just explained "sorry, he's new here"....total waste of time and a hit on my credit. Buyers beware.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. No one follows you around pressuring you to buy, which is wonderful.

They hat nice stuff but it's expensive.

They had some unique things there which were fine to look at, but most things were way overpriced for the quality. The price of the chair I wanted had a 75% markup as compared to the Ashley Furniture website, plus they tried to charge me for freight shipping where their own website also said it was in stock in store. Who doesn't price match their own website? It feels like they used a lie to get me to come in.

Store experience was good. Still waiting for my chair. Was sent multiple messages regarding delivery date. Never came and I gave my old chair away expecting the new one. We called and they said the 💺was in Illinois. Now I have no chair. NOw they said check back in a week. Very unprofessional.

The sales team at this location was polite and helpful but I had a horrible experience overall (purchasing in a pandemic). I came into the store in November looking solely at items ready for immediate delivery. Purchasing was easy but the piece was delivered on time but came damaged two times and now won’t arrive until mid-February. I’ve asked for my money back and they refused. Absolutely nothing was offered from the store or corporate to make up for the frustration and inconvenience. This was my first and last time shopping here.

My wife and I went into Ashley's looking for a leather recliner chair in stock. We found 2 that we liked. Salesperson John was very helpful. He even supplied a tape measure so we could figure out which one would be best for our room size. We made our decision to take a floor model that was on sale. John even helped me load it into my truck. When I got it home I realized one of the power cords was missing. I called Ashley's back and they found it right away. I drove back to the store and they had the cord waiting for me at the front desk. The young lady at the front desk pointed out that there were actually 2 power cords needed for the chair and she provided that 2nd cord as well. Very friendly, no pressure customer service. We will definitely be going back for future furniture purchases. A+++

Do not buy from here. Husband and I ordered a couch from here 4 months ago and told it woukd be delivered this month. Only a third delivered after they messed up the delivery initially due to human error. We have called and left so many messages, trying to get a hold of anyone that can help to no avail. We were promised many calls back that never came. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

John did a great job helping us purchase our furniture. He allowed us our space to look around and helped us when we were ready. We understand that it will take some time for it to arrive. Ashley furniture has a lot of beautiful choices. Thank you John and Ashley furniture.

I am so disappointed right now, I really thought that Ashley furniture is the number one but I regret not using rooms to go. Today is the third time they attempt to deliver our sofa love seat and ottoman; last Saturday they did not show up and never gave us any notice. Today we were supposed to receive all three items and they are just telling the day of that it won’t happened. It’s been four months we were supposed to get it in November; the worst thing is we don’t even know if it’s coming and when we call they are saying they will call us in three days to let us know ! I am just shocked 😳 and this is so not convenient since Christmas is next week; I will not recommend Ashley to anyone; I have never wrote a review before this is my first time because it was really not a good service

I've been waiting for furniture that I've purchased in September of 2020 to still be delivered to my home. I've been patiently waiting as I've been presented with numerous excuses including  Covid having items on hold.  I've gone inside the local store to complain several times just to be given a hard time and a number that is either someone elses, nonactive or another representative that will pass along false reassurance. Ashley Homestore has brought scratched & damaged furniture that still needs to be replaced to my home and has been here since July of this year. The employees at the local store are very useless, unhelpful, rude and seems annoyed to have to assist others. Each time I call the customer service line, I  experience long waits and a representative that seems unhappy to help as well. I've had to reexplain each time I call how I've been waiting for almost two years for my furniture and the trouble I've been given. I've gone inside the store where I've witnessed other unhappy customers asking for refunds. Ashley Homestore has decided to sell me a Bed that has items missing that I've been waiting for just to finish having them put my bed together. Since Late July of this year, I've had to call almost everyday to address these matters. I even offered to take what's on the floor because the store is obviously not able to sell the model if they don't even have the items to give. I find this a false representation to sell items to customers and announce later you no longer have the items. I'm very upset as I've not been able to enjoy my furniture and I am expected to still pay on the balance. I would like something to be done about receiving the remainder of my items.

Couch is starting to rip at the seams on the seat cushions after less than 2 years of normal use. Extended warranty apparently doesn't cover this issue despite being assured by sales rep that it would be taken care of.

First time Customer and my experience with delivery has been awful. I had a good experience ordering in the Westland, MI store. But after waiting almost 4 months, still no bed. We were told that the finish we wanted would not be available until December. We agreed to wait. In November we received a message that it was ready to schedule delivery. We scheduled for Nov 26th, and no they never showed. We were rescheduled for Dec 3rd, and wrong headboard finish. The rails and footboard were the right ones and left at our home. We received another message which we scheduled a delivery for today(Dec 10th). They screwed up and were bringing us rails again. Delivery was canceled. I've called Corporate, the Distribution Center, and Ashley's Westland Store relentlessly. I even went up to the Ashley's Westland store on Dec 8th, with Corporate on the phone so they can communicate with each other. I called for an update today 12/10 and was told I have a credit issue. I was also told that they just placed another order for my headboard today. Which would cause an issue with my credit account. I now have 2 open orders I never agreed to a reorder and that won’t be here until January. I have been trying to reach the account department and no one picks up, I've even left messages. Me and my husband are beyond frustrated and at the point of canceling and obtain a lawyer. I absolutely hate to make this review but I have had no resolution.

We understand the delay and supply chain issues .But what is your issue to answer phone calls enquiring about delivery and status . Absolutely impossible to get through , Westland option -3 never works . Nobody picks up . Please avoid Ashley if possible.

Purchased a dining set from here in July that we were supposed to have in September. September turned into October and then into November. Frustrating for sure but I understand supply issues. November we learn were only getting out table and arm chairs and that our side chairs and bench are now not be delivered until January 2022... Date for the table delivery comes and the base is cracked in its packaging. This is extremely frustrating giving all my issues so far with my order but this kind of thing happens right? New date for the base was today in December. Truck arrives and they bring in the SAME BOX with the SAME CRACKED BASE from the initial delivery just over a week ago! How does that happen?! This whole experience with Ashley HomeStore has been awful, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at this time.

I bought a bed at the end of August the 1st of September it's now the 1st of December and it's still not completely put together I have not canceled any appointments this is their bad service and I don't know what to do about it is there any help out there

Unfortunately, my experience has not been great here. I never write reviews but I'm just so discouraged at this point I feel compelled to spare the next potential buyer . It's so bad that no one even bothers to answer the phone. I don't know how to get ahold of anyone and convey the level of disappointment I am having with this store other than the potential inconvenience of driving out there to see if I can get a face to face meeting with a human. I understand the supply chain issues in the US make things difficult right now but a poor supply chain should not lead to poor customer service. There are still ways to handle the disappointment that customers are experiencing when they order something and there are constant delays that are not even communicated.

Sectional Eltmann sectional - my couch was delivered by some very hasty men which destroyed my wall and the couch. Getting these two matters resolved has been IMPOSSIBLE! You cannot get through to anyone at Ashley Furniture only for them to tell you that you “have the wrong department” and reroute you. It is beyond a headache. I waited a very long time to actual receive my couch which is now destroyed. They did send me about 5 pounds of fabric which is hilarious! Not sure what they expect me to do with it. On the rare occasion that I speak to someone when I have the patience to wait they bait me with some lie and i wait another two weeks and repeat the process. The customer service is AWFUL! If you have all the time in the world, than go for it! Otherwise save your sanity and buy a couch from somewhere else.

I went to the Westland Ashley Furniture store with an online appointment and the lady we were greeted by, Kia, was very rude. We let her know we had an appointment acted like she didn’t know what we were talking about. Basically said it was a dumb promotion the company started once she remembered it was an option now. I could tell she thought we were only coming in for the gift card because once we said we’re also looking for furniture she changed her whole tone and was suddenly happy to help us. She needs to work on her first impressions.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us with what we were looking for. I'm a very happy customer and will be back for my future furniture needs.

Judging by my experience so far, I wouldn’t suggest wasting your time with these people. They have told me when to expect my couch multiple times. I have had to confirm delivery dates with them by text, email, and even over the phone day of. I’ve taken off of work and missed out on pay to be available, and then they tell me the delivery dates were only estimates. Or that they accidentally canceled my order. It’s been months after my original “estimate” and I will legit be surprised if I ever get my order. Try somewhere else.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Back in July/August I ordered a roughly $1400 table and chair set. It was delivered a few weeks later and it was damaged. Ok, not ideal but things happen. Today the replacement was delivered. Two men came in to put it together and mentioned that they had never put this particular table together before. They were in my kitchen for an hour swearing and calling Ashley trying to figure it out. They completely destroyed it trying to attach the legs. They drilled all the way through the table top 7 tied. The store did not care and the corporate office did not care The

Our salesman Juan Torres (WOODHAVEN STORE) was genuinely wonderful and we typically like the quality of the products we have purchased in the past from the store. That being said, we will never return. We were mocked openly by two female staff members for wearing masks. They made no attempt to hide the fact that they were doing so. In and of itself it was insulting but given the fact that we had just picked up my mother's ashes it was a blow we did not need. We wear masks because we have an autistic daughter who has an autoimmune disease that causes her brain to swell. We have spent many years in and out of hospitals treating her relapses. People should think before they speak and refrain from mocking those who choose to wear the mask. There are reasons that some of us do so and every family's circumstances are different. Kindness people. I'm saddened that we receive this kind of treatment from an otherwise charitable organization. We needed the bed frame to replace a broken one and frankly if we hadn't been so emotionally tired from the events of the past week we would have taken this purchase elsewhere as well.

Curious on if anyone had their issues with their orders resolved from the 206 text number or email address that was given as a reply to all the concerns. I’ve never seen situations handled outside of contacting the direct customer service line… makes me nervous.

I shared pictures of my purchase in a group of 7 photos 2 weeks ago. I did not share in writing my experience because I wanted it to be fair and objective. The pictures show multiple issues from complete breaks, scratches, and paint finishes that don’t match. I have been calling on this issue since May 2021 with no resolution, it is now September 2021. I wish I could tell you their specific reasons for not doing an exchange, but I can’t. Every call I make to Ashley Home Furniture ends with them telling me that they have put in for the exchange, or they will have a technician come to see if it can be repaired with a set date for appointment, and it always ends with nothing!!!! No Furniture exchange, technicians no showing with missed days of work( 2 vacation days wasted) and when I call to find out what happened, every time but once they couldn’t find my account and have no record of what Has transpired or the pictures of the damage ( I have sent photos 6x to different employees emails)! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!! The quality is horrible, their quality controller must need glasses, the staff are pleasant but ineffective and have no real authority to resolve issues! I’m stuck in an unbreakable chain of disappointment. 12/07/21. As of this date still no resolution. Just want my money back at this point!!!

My experience with Ashley Furniture was excellent. I had shopped there previously and bought a whole houseful of furniture. This time it was for a dining room set. Both times the service was great and the selections of furnishings are not only beautiful but very good quality. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture. You will not be disappointed.

Buyer beware, they will quote you 8 weeks at the store, then after a few weeks, it will change to 16 to 18 weeks. Do not shop here if you need an item urgently.

I tried going to multiple locations but I continue to get a horrible expirence ... I truly miss art van! They told me they couldn't price match their online price and basically told me they would prefer if I bought it myself online. Basically didn't care if I bought it in store with an associate he just said you get free shipping in store but that he suggests me to buy it online since the price is different.

Sales person did an excellent job. He was always around to answer any questions, but we where able to look around on our own.

Buyer beware. They will quote you 8-12 week delivery dates. Once you reach the 12 week mark they will extend it to 12 more weeks. Oh and they don't tell you about the delay upfront until you waste your valuable time and get ready to pay. I wish if I can give it 0 star i made my order on April i went to the store to find out what's going on I spoke to the manager he promised me that I will get my order as soon as possible after one week I got the bed frame and mattress box but still missing the mattress and the night stand i never had issue like that the worst store ever . Great place to look for new furniture at low prices

I purchased 6 seaters sectional sofa back in March 2021 and I waited 4 months but still I didn't receive the entire set. Everytime when I call the store they tell me different delivery dates. So I finally canceled my order. If they don't have any items in stock than they should atleast tell their customers upfront when they purchase any item. I didn't like their customer service at the Westland, MI store.

Got everything ordered with no issues. Had delivery confirmed and it was cancelled without warning. Had the 2nd delivery confirmed and it was cancelled without warning. Went ahead and cancelled my order since they are not able to deliver on the confirmed dates after having to adjust my schedule to accommodate. Would not recommend.

Ordered furniture May 15th. Over $4,000 worth. Had 4 delivery dates now. Now another date of August 5th. So take my money then jerk me around about dates. Never will I shop here again. Also of my stuff isn't shipped by this date. I will be cancelling the whole order. Worst customer service.

One delay after another delay. If you get a text saying to schedule an appointment for delivery, dont believe it. We're on our 3rd go around (on text messages) and my order keeps getting pushed back. My advise, keep calling the 800 number. Or better yet, go somewhere else.

HORRIBLE...DO NOT SHOP HERE. I bought 2 couches, 2 coffee tables and a bedframe and head board. It took them 5 months to deliver. Everytime I called i was on hold for at least 45 mins. I finally got my items 4 months ago and its already falling apart. The coffee table legs are uneven so they wobble The couches are coming apart at the seams and the bedframe just broke. After looking at the broken frame its apparent that they use extremely cheap materials

We just bought a house, we needed some furniture to fill some rooms, it was the easiest time picking out and purchasing. Very enjoyable experience!!! For sure will go back to get a couple more things that we really liked and will need.

Very strong sofas

Walked in was not greeted by one person. Looking around, as I just purchased the Rawcliffe but it wouldn’t clear my doorway to enter, so I’m looking to repurchase. When I needed help I asked for it, store sales man in a white coat quickly helped me. As soon as he saw an Indian couple walk in he stopped with me to greet them, go over financing options, and then browsed the store with them. I was left with “check this couch out, go look in the back to the right, and the one in the front right there on the left” he’s saying all this as he’s walking away to help this other couple. Needless to say, I won’t be respending my money at this store. I clearly looked to him as though I wasn’t here to purchase or had money, which is fine!

So disappointed!!! I purchased the warranty for my new sofa only because I knew my grands would be using it. My sofa is about a year and a half old. Got a couple of stains and decided to deal with them per warranty…I thought. After calling several times I was finally able to speak with someone. I was on the phone for about a half hour….went through an interrogation… over two stains. I did not receive an appointment for someone to even come out and look at it. DON’T PURCHASE THE WARRANTY!!!!! Big waste of money!

Bought furniture from them recently, waiting very long time for it (three months ) when they showed up they didn’t connect everything right. It fell apart after they left when I went to plug in the lights to it. ( it was a TV unit) and now they won’t do anything about it other than replace it and I would like them to reimburse me and take it back but they won’t . It’s too expensive for something like this to be happening, also worse customer experience and service ever. I will never buy from them again!

Ordered a sectional on March 9th with delivery scheduled during the 2nd week of May to our new house(we moved in on the 1st of May).The delivery got pushed out to first week of June, then the last week of June, then to July and now to September. The communication from Ashley about these delays have been extremely poor. We only got one phone call from the sales representative after the 3rd or 4th delay at which point he mentioned getting back to us with details of compensation for the delay which he never did. customer service agents and sales representatives have been giving mismatching information about delivery dates, compensation for delays etc. Overall, highly dissatisfied with Ashley.

I brought a bed frame in May and it took month for me to get all the frame. I got headboard, footboard and one side of the frame within a week but unprofessional thing about it was out a text message at 2pm that didn't have any dates so I had to call up to the store and the store closed at 5PM to find out it was current day to pick up the frame. I called several times and been hung up on every time I called.I got put on hold for 20 minutes when I finally got someone then every person I talked to had said a week. I called back every week and I went through the same thing. Finally I got someone that did go through with giving my other side of bedframe and I didn't receive no call or text messages saying that I could pick it up until I actually called again.

What a pleasure to browse a furniture store without hoards of salespeople descending upon one!! After several minutes, Michelle did offer her assistance. She was knowledgeable about the products and what factors should be considered for selection. The furniture was mostly contemporary but featured a number of styles and woods and fabrics. Had never been in this store, will definitely return and recommend.

The Ashley furniture experience has been horrible!!! The warranty offered by Montage for our purchases is totally worthless.We filed a claim for a repair in February 2021 and still waiting. Blaming the pandemic seems to be the only answer !!! Please BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst store ever they promised me my items will come 4 to 8 weeks the most and they did not come it's been 2 1/2 months and also the price went down for the items and they would not give me the difference back even though they told me they also keep sending me emails telling me the items are coming on a certain date and I called them and they say they're not worst store ever I will never ever shop here again if there was zero stars I would give them zero I am going to tell everybody about the store how bad it is and I will never Recommend it to everybody and the customer service is terrible they just don't wanna make their customers happy never again

Went to Ashley Furniture looking for a bed frame, we found one that we really liked. The sales rep was very friendly and not over baring stalking us around the store. She was there when we needed answers to our questions and gave us room and freedom to look at the items. The store was clean and well maintained and they hd a wide variety of items. Only downside is the wait time for items but that is circumstantial due to the current market. Update: 8/17/2021 So after waiting a few months for the bed frame we purchased we just found out that it has been discontinued and cannot be delivered. And the store has no more king size bed frames in stock. So we waited months for this bed frame and received no updates in regards to the status until we hounded them for answers. Wasting my time and offering no solutions to the problem is why my review went from 5 stars to 1. And now I have an ashley furniture credit card to a store I’ll NEVER do business with again 🤦‍♂️.

The sales staff at the Westland Michigan location was helpful. But our experience since has been a total nightmare. On Tuesday we were delivered 1/2 of a Temperpedic adjustable split-king mattress set. While trying to resolve the issue, my husband was hung up on by their delivery department and the store manager has failed to return his call 2 days in a row. The social media department is filing some kind of “ticket” to the Regional Management staff, that we can’t expect resolution on for “48 business hours.” We literally spent $10,000 on a new bedroom set, so that now either my husband or I have to sleep on the couch, until SOMEONE decides to address our issues. Spend your money with a company that resolves issues instead of hiding from them, by putting countless layers of hourly and commissioned staff in place without the resources to resolve problems!

Overall had a very terrible experience, the sales team was fine its everything else that occurred after. We bought a bedroom furniture set from them, first issue was they told us to pickup the furniture via text at the depot, we show up and the furniture wasnt actually ready, so we wasted gas getting out there and customer support was not very friendly or helpful, we decided to pay for delivery and THIS was the biggest issue. The delivery team installed the bedframe wrong in multiple ways, drawers squeaked and the foundation platform was loose and sliding out of place. The smallest dresser was chipped at the bottom and the crew installed it and quickly left. We then called customer support about this and they had the audacity to tell my girlfriend she should've made sure they installed it correctly... like my girlfriend is supposed to know that. Isn't professional delivery and installation what we payed for? It gets worse unfortunately, they then told us yesterday they were delivering it Thursday and my girlfriend got a call Wednesday morning saying they'd be here today. AND they had the wrong address and told my girlfriend to go to that address when they get there and have them follow her to our house... while the furniture itself is high quality, don't expect any bit of decent customer support if you have any issues. Also expect the delivery and installation crew to have no idea what they are doing... Literally no professionalism.

Honestly some of the worst customer service imaginable. I paid 2k for a table there back in March, it was advertised as immediate delivery available. I paid for it. Get told that it will be 4 weeks for delivery. Tell them thats not even close to immediate and I took their sign down for them. Fastforward to 2 weeks ago, got a text asking for delivery dates, I select one. Just now got an email that gave me a different delivery date than the one I chose. Called customer service and was told that since I replied to their text a couple hours after they sent it that it was considered a late reply and didn't count. I was never notified of this. They tell me the next available date is in yet another 2 weeks. They can't even give me a time that it will be delivered. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was told they will call me back. Honestly this is pathetic. I've worked in the service industry all my life, I really don't know how this business could possibly remain open with this service. Ill never step foot in an ashleys store again.

And from the jump they sold us the wrong peace of furniture in the beginning and they told us we couldn’t return it or get anytype of refund even thoe we told the delivery drivers that it was the wrong peace but they said they couldn’t take it back . So we were forced to get the other half of a couch that we didn’t even want in the first place ( because we didn’t want just a seat sitting in the middle of our living room ) and now we have been waiting on that peace for 3 months and the other one took 4 months . So in total we’ve waited 7 months for furniture

worst customer service ever. they delivered our loveseat and did not install the legs I've been trying to get them installed ever since and keep getting the run around. GO ANYWERE ELSE!!!

I had an appointment today this was a no-show. I paid someone to move my bed and sofa out of the house. Now I have nowhere to sleep. And was told via phone call it's unknown when the items will be delivered I was instructed to call tomorrow 😡

The worst customer service you could imagine I had the wrong table delivered after spending hours in the store trying to order my table I was waiting a month to get that I was only supposed to wait a week then they came and picked up the wrong table and never got back with me until I called them the fallowing Monday the delivery person was rude when it was there mistake then I was told I had to wait two more weeks the said they would credit my account for delivery witch was not done and give a a 100 gift card that I have not seen and still waiting on a manager to call me back just terrible experience

Westland store employee Brandon provided us with really poor customer service. He never phoned us to tell us when our furniture would be in. He told us the longest delivery would take was 8 weeks. He did not reach out to us for an update or anything. I don’t know what the furniture is like but the experience was awful. I will never shop at Ashley furniture again. It’s been two months we still don’t have our furniture. Customer service is everything!!! It’s not ok for people to spend their money and still have nothing to show for it

This store is very clean and well organized. I enjoy browsing their new furniture and love how my new sectional looks in my home.

Always a fast easy process, plus the prices are pretty good compared to some of the other ones nearby. Will definitely come back for anything else we may need.

Terrible experience after purchase, at first we were told we will receive our delivery in 16 weeks and we understood things are getting delayed due to COVID and that's fine. Finally, we got an email saying we are receiving our furniture after few months and 1st delivery came with 1/3rd of our order. We received sectional with missing cushions and throw pillows and didn't receive right bed set, so we had to send that back. After multiple calls and hours of waiting on hold - we got another delivery scheduled next week. It gets even better 2nd time: we received headboard and rails for our bed but missing footboard . Yayyy right !! So, obviously we refused to take our order and sent that 2nd delivery back. Now, back to the wonderful phone calls to customer service begins - in order to get the missing cushions for our sectional - I needed to provide serial numbers which are located underneath the sofa and after an hour wait - they cannot even find serial numbers in their amazing technology they use to lookup... Moreover, they come back and asked me that I should pay for missing pillows for them to order. At this point , I am like beyond frustrated. How can someone ask customers to pay for missing items from the original delivery ???? Absolutely worst furniture store and customer experience that I ever had to face and wouldn't recommend them to even my worst enemy. Update :04/12 - After multiple calls to the store and guest response team, now we are scheduled for a redeliver of missing items on 20th( including cushions and throw pillows) . But, I am not confident at this point that I will receive all missing items. Fingers crossed!! Update on 4/19: So, for the fourth time now the delivery is postponed and rescheduled for may 13th.. seriously people stay away from this business. A bunch of liars running a sketchy business. I wonder what's their customer retention rate is. Would be surprised if it's more than 1 percent .. Update on 5/7: Still no missing parts for our sectional and the dates keep getting postponed. Nobody communicates when things get postponed unless we reach out 3 or 4 times to customer care. Maybe I will get my items next year by this time...

This was my first time going to Ashley HomeStore in Woodhaven and it was such a great experience! I went in with thoughts of just seeing what was in store and I ended up purchasing a new queen bed! (I was long overdue lol) Michelle the sales associate was such a tremendous help! As i was just browsing i asked about the various mattresses and she explained all the various types. She was so kind and helpful I saw one queen mattress that was on clearance that i liked. Long story short i left and came back and got the bed. She even helped with me getting transport for it because it was big. After i paid for it and came back to pick it up Michelle and John who I think was the manager wrapped up the mattress and John helped me get it onto the flatbed of the truck. Awesome service i will definitely be looking to make more purchases from here in the future! Satisfied customer!

Worked with Michelle P. She was very helpful and sweet. Did not bother us or push us into buying anything. Made sure we got a good deal on everything we ordered. We went 4 other stores that werent Ashley and were thrown into a frenzy of employees constantly asking if we needed help. It was nice to not feel overwhelmed by salesman asking a ton of questions. However, the first couch I received was broken and took months to get a replacement sorted out. 2 different repair men came out to try and fix it but eventually decided they couldnt. All in all it took about 6 months to receive the couch.

After the fall of Art Van I was scared I wouldn't find another furniture store but I'm glad to see I was mistaken. Kiki, not sure I'm spelling it right.was super helpful very nice and an absolute pleasure to work with. Not just that he was a genuine person. We talked he got to know the situation and happily helped. Their selection is very good and even more online which you can paruse in store via large kiosks.

Me and my wife's first time in the store and looking for an important item, a new sectional for our new house ,we went to 6 furniture stores and ended up back there to buy one. They have decent prices, good quality furniture and all sorts of colors and styles we are excited about our purchase!!!

I will never shop at an Ashley Home Furniture location again. The staff in the store was very friendly and helpful, but extremely deceptive in how they conduct business. I ordered an item and was given a GUARANTEED date in which it would be ready. 5 months later they have pushed back that date 7 times, with no hope of an actual delivery any time soon. I am extremely fortunate that this is not an essential item for my home, because I would have had to either find or temporary replacement or go without for nearly half a year (and counting). Based on so many other reviews, the sales staff is taking of advantage of customer’s trust by taking money for items that they know fully well will not be available to them for a very long time. I have never been offered any sort of compensation for the time and inconvenience of paying money for a good that they are withholding from me. Buyers beware.

We visited Ashley furniture in Woodhaven today and was Assistant by miss Alexis. She was very knowledgeable and helped in making the correct decision on our mattress purchase. As well as her suggestion on a new bedroom set. We purchased all that she suggested and we were very impressed with her knowledge on the new arrival that she showed us for the bedroom set. She made our purchase easy and affordable.

Terrible customer service! When you buy a product you are stuck with it. They will not return, exchange, or even care for your purchase. Be very certain with the items you purchase because their customer service and their policy is ridiculous. I purchased a couch and it broke TWICE and they fixed it TWICE and now that we are on the third issue they decide to no longer help me or care to guide me with next steps. They also do not call back nor email back when you are in need of help. I wish I was able to give this NO stars.

Terrible delivery schedule took me 6 months to get my furniture

I agree with all the negative reviews here. Luckily I walked out before I bought anything.The price kept changing as did the information. I went to Mattress Firm and got a much better deal plus their delivery charge was 100 dollars less. I recommend them highly if you are looking for a mattress. I would not do business here. Lesson learned.

I purchased a headboard/footboard/ rails from the store and I took a while to put the bed together due to work schedule. I discovered that the pieces were missing. I called the lady put me on hold for 45 min and hung up. I called back the lady was non caring and paid me very little respect. Now I am going into the store to find out what happened to the bed or I expect a complete refund. I will never shop here again at all.

I went in to just look around and was surprised by the selection and the quality of their furniture. Almost everything I wanted to see from the website was on display. I’m pretty sure I first dealt with Alyson or Alicia, she was wonderful. She showed me several options, made suggestions based on my floor and wall color, and was very knowledgeable. I told her I was going to continue looking, I like to do my own thing, in the interim she had a customer come to pick up their order. She immediately had her co-worker Brenda (maybe) assist me. Everything was smooth and it was such an awesome experience. They have come a long way from the suit and tie what can I get you to buy days. I was very pleased. Thanks again!

I will never shop at Ashley again! Ordered a sectional back in mid September that was scheduled to be delivered December 12th. The salesperson was kind, but seemed like she didn't totally know what she was doing. She almost overcharged us which I had to point out. Then our street was spelled incorrectly on the sales order. Anyway delivery date came and went with no communication whatsoever. A week after that, I finally decided to call and check the status. The lady I spoke to on the phone was not very helpful/friendly. She said they only had one piece of it and the rest they wouldn't have until the last week of February tentatively. My only options were to keep waiting, go back to the store and reselect (ha!), or just get a refund. I'm sure in another week or so (the end of February), there will still be no communication and my delivery date will get pushed further back which means I'll be requesting a full refund. Meanwhile, my parents went to Gardner White and got their furniture delivered same day.

Ordered a sectional and a few tables mid-November 2020. I KNEW orders were behind and so I expected months of waiting. So I called today 12 Feb 2021 to ask how my order looked for the 16 Feb 2021 delivery. Apparently, the tables aren't even able to be found so she said she really has no idea what to do about those, "They must be on back order I guess". So she predicts that to be closer to April 2021. Based on what? I have no idea. However, I was told my sectional pieces should be coming in their warehouse soon so if I want my sectional, I have to call them within 24-48 hrs of the sofa arriving in their wearhouse so I can try and get. Absolutely horrible. Avoid this store at any cost. They're working commission and will tell you anything you need to hear.

Frustrated is an understatement. I recommend finding somewhere else to shop for your furniture needs. We waited 6 months just to be told Ashley’s doesn’t deliver to our desired destination, which would have been nice to know before they took our payment. We have yet to hear back from Ashley’s about our regretful experience and are still impatiently waiting for our refund. I have never experienced such terrible customer service.

Ashley furniture is the worst experience I have ever dealt with. After receiving my loveseat I April the mechanicals didn't work properly, their was a transformer in the middle console which I told them about. They don't send anyone out and just do exchanges. That's mind boggling in itself. This is where the fun starts. I was given 7 different dates for the exchange of which, obviously, nothing happened or call. I moved furniture so they could make the exchange. The number 8th date I even had a time. I find the day of the delivery it was been rescheduled for another week. I call customer, who is in Texas and was told I'm not listening. No reason just that my day has been changed again. Do not use Ashley furniture. They have no clue how to keep customers happy and satisfied. I do not recommend and have cancelled the sale since I put their credit card into arbitrartion. They now are trying to have me pay a delivery charge for a defective item. The store itself will not even talk to me. I'm filing small case paperwork this week. This is just mindboggling Since the delivery charge is nonrefundable by contract I have to pay but something to think about. Why is that written into the contract....could it be they sell so much defective furniture they had to cover costs? Is that possible? Something to think about. Buyer beware

First of all, they screen any reviews you place directly on the website products and simply do not post the bad reviews. I posted about a problem we were having with our new furniture and they simply did not allow it to be posted. Next I contacted customer service to get the problem addressed. It is always at least a 15 minute hold time to get to talk to a human (whether it is just to check on shipping or to discuss a problem). I was told I would receive a call in 24-48 hours to set up an appointment to have someone come look at the problem and we are at day 4 with no phone call received. I'm glad we did not buy the additional warranty if this is how they are going to treat customers. Update 11/30/2020: emailed customer service, have now placed 3 phone calls and still no progress on resolution. Reducing to one star and would give you zero if I could. Update 12/8/2020: Still have not received any phone calls to schedule the service appointment. Update 1/10/2021: Zero contact from anyone regarding my issue since last update Update 1/29/2021: Emailed again, still no response or contact from this company. 2/2/2021: Received email asking for picture of problem. Sent video of problem since it has to do with movement and sound. Was told they are looking into it and would get back to me. 3/17/2021: Still no response or progress. Chair is driving us nuts.

The biggest problem I have with Ashley HomeStore is they allow Acceptance Now to take care of their customers and if you read their reviews you will notice that they are nothing but a scam, unfortunately I read the reviews after I already financed through them and Ashley Home store said they have nothing to do with Acceptance Now, which is crooked because they lost me as a customer and I'm sure a lot of other people.

We just bought our first home! Now we had the process of trying to add furniture....overwhelming, but so exciting at the same time!! Our sales agent was Alexis in Woodhaven, MI. She was as sweet and patient as could be! She didn’t rush us or pressure us, but she was always there for answers and advice! Second big purchase from Ashley. Not the most affordable furniture store compared to others, but you see that in the quality of the items available. Definitely will return for more acquisitions. Visited the Woodhaven store, great staff and won't pressure you into buying something that you don't want.

I was greeted upon entering and treated very well throughout my visit. I had picked the sleeper sofa I wanted online so I was there to get more info and order my sleeper sofa. I have been online shopping for 2 weeks and Ashley is the only place with 8" memory foam mattresses. We all know how uncomfortable a sleeper sofa with a thin innerspring mattress is. I got all the info I needed, ordered it and my entire transaction was complete in less than 30 minutes. You can't beat that.

Ordered on September 7th and keep getting the run around with customer service. Was told 8-12 weeks MAX for delivery, it's been 20 weeks and still no furniture in sight. Unacceptable. Everytime I call customer service I get a different answer. The worst is when the rep left me sitting on the phone in silence for 5 minutes then just disconnected the call. Who does that? Everyday that goes by is another day added to my expected delivery date. I want my furniture or a refund. We have been patient and kind with everyone we have spoken to, but I can't pay for something that I can't even get a straight answer on if or when I will receive it.

Purchased a mattress back in November of 2020. Was out of stock and delivery date kept getting pushed back. Understandable as I know there are delays due to Covid. We cancelled the order. It has been over 2 weeks and still no refund after calling daily. Will not shop at an Ashley Furniture store again.

Absolutely fell in love with the furniture. After visiting several stores we found the living room set of our dreams at the Woodhaven Store. Our sales woman was very helpful and patient. Showed us everything that we would be interested in and clarified any questions we had. We will definitely be going back for our new bedroom set also. Love this store.

Needless to say, NOT professional response via text. He could have been polite about it, added a number to call, etc. I should have cancelled the order and reorder with another sales person whom deserved the sale.

This would’ve been our first time purchasing furniture from Ashley due to the COVID-19 we will be unable to get our items we ordered in a timely manner but it is what it is for now but on the customer side aspect it was extremely well they explained the delay and the furniture upfront they were able to explain the pricing. I walk d around the store over 15 mins without anyone greeting me, if I could give the NO STARS I would. When I spoke to the manager regarding the fact that I wasn’t approached she made up an excuse and showed very little empathy regarding my issue, and she was starting to get combative.

I was very excited to go to Ashley Homes stores because I have heard good things. I have been calling for days to get an appointment (not including the recent holidays) I have also called multiple departments to get through to someone. But I have yet to get an answer after sitting on the line forever. Good luck getting an appt during COVID.

My 1st visit to Ashley home furniture. I was amazed that they make their own furniture. The furniture is very nice and sturdy. And I also want to give our sales person 5 stars, I think her name was Allison(Westland store). You don't meet many people with the excellent gift of great customer service, but this young lady did. Honestly people in the sales business don't move me easily, so this is truly someone to go see if you're looking for a great furniture experience ! She was funny, ,gave honest helpful advise, and allowed us to browse at our leisure. Oh after reading reviews, I must add that we did not purchase any furniture due to the extremely long delivery wait. But it was still an AWESOME experience!

We had a great experience yesterday 12/21/2020 with Alexis @ the Ashley HomeStore in Woodhaven. She was very knowledgeable and super helpful! We were all over the board from walking in looking for a sectional to ending up with a sofa & loveseat set along with a dining room set! Keep up the good work, it was a pleasure! We can't wait to get our new furniture!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE EMAIL BELOW REPLIED IMMEDIATELY SAYING THEY CANT ASSIST BEING THIS STORE IS OUT OF AREA. As many others have stated, I'm listing this as a 1 star rating because it can't go any lower. I ordered a bedroom set and sectional in the first week of September with an estimated 6 week delivery. It's now December and I have only received the wedge of my sectional and the bedframe and mattress. Upon delivery (after being rescheduled twice) the delivery drivers told me they didn't have the all of the boxes to build my bedframe. After going out to search the truck once more they left altogether. The entire bedframe was there in the boxes which I ended up building myself, last time I checked this was Ashely and not Ikea... I was promised I wouldn't have a delivery charge which I was charged standard delivery for, after speaking to customer service with three call attempts from their customer service team "being disconnected" I got someone who flatly didn't care about the situation and told me I needed to talk to the store being it's a franchise and they handle the finance issues. I've called the store and left a voicemail on three occasions and sent an ema to the sales rep that helped me twice with no response. This has been an outright terrible experience. For this kind of money do not give them your business. You'll be lied to, pushed off for delivery time and again and to top it all off I received a bill in the mail for the furniture I do not even have. These people should be nothing but embarrassed.

Back in August, I purchased a sectional that was supposed to be delivered by the end of October (hint, never happened). Besides the fact that every time I called the number, it rang and rang with no answer while it being nearly impossible to get a hold for my sales associate, Elton, through this whole matter. My first delay made the delivery for the week of Thanksgiving (understandable with the times of how there could be some sort of delay). When we finally got a hold of someone (we had to call them mind you) the lady seemed apologetic, but within a few minutes on the phone... the delivery was delayed another few days... what? . We received a partial refund, and was told to call back on December 15th (today) to see the status of the delivery that was supposed to be for December 30. With no explanation, they told us that the delivery was now pushed back AGAIN for another 12 to 15 weeks. This place is a joke, 9 months for a couch delivery? You will never get my business again. I either want my couch, now or a refund. I spent too much for this to be an issue. Also, quit promoting blowout sales and new furniture pieces if you can't even fulfill the orders you have now.

Awful! Bought a sofa at the beginning of August and they told me November for delivery. Called them once December hit and they said maybe March. I would give negative stars if I could. Had to cancel my order and go to Gardner White. Well once I said I wanted to cancel i got a call from the store and now I'm getting it next week and getting a discount. Giving 3 stars because the customer service at Westland was very good when they heard about the shipping issues.

Dont buy anything you wont get it for 6 month's

If I could, I would give my experience with Ashley HomeStore zero stars. I went into the store in the first week of September and ordered a three piece sectional to be delivered in late November. When the date rolled around that we were supposed to receive the couch and I had not heard anything, I called customer service to figure out what was going on and they told me that the manufacturer pushed back the date to the following week. This trend went on for several weeks... me calling customer service, them letting me know the delivery date was being pushed back. I was frustrated but understood that due to COVID things are moving slower than normal. I called back this past Thursday to once again check up on my order and the customer service representative told me that one part of the sectional had been discontinued and I would no longer be able to receive my order. My options were to get a refund or come in to select a new sectional. At no point did Ashley HomeStore reach out to me in this whole process, even when they knew that the items had been discontinued. The customer service I received was variable, with some agents very professional and helpful and one agent who actually yelled at me. Overall I am highly dissatisfied and would not recommend anyone order from Ashley HomeStore.

I had been in this store twice before I went in today to make my purchase, each time I worked with a different sales associate. The sales associate, Jessica, that I worked with today was the absolute best! She listened to what I wanted and helped me make a selection today! She explained every piece of furniture (along with their features), she thoroughly answered all my questions and even offered the AHS protection plan! Because I had such an amazing experience with Jessica I walked around the store a little longer to see what other pieces of furniture I would like to add in my new home!

I have had an absolutely horrible experience with Ashley furniture and cannot stress enough that if you’re looking for furniture, you should look anywhere else. I ordered a bed frame, dresser, mattress, and movable foundation on 8/31/20 with an estimated delivery date of 9/30/20. That day came and went. I was contacted on 10/18/20 to schedule delivery and I scheduled for 11/7. I was called at 7:45 PM on the delivery date to inform me that they weren’t allowed to work longer than 12 hours so my delivery would need to be pushed to the next scheduled day. They assured me I would be first on the schedule for the next delivery date which would be the following Tuesday. I called on Monday to confirm this, and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, was informed the delivery drivers have no control over the schedule and should not have told me that. The next availability wasn’t until 11/18. I scheduled for that day and was assured everything would be delivered then. On 11/18, the drivers ‘forgot’ my dresser and side rails for the bed and this shipment did not include my mattress and foundation as this was now scheduled in a separate delivery for 11/21. They assured me these items would be delivered as soon as possible and my bed would be assembled. I called and waited on hold for another 20 minutes to ensure this was accurate. I was informed I would be contacted by the delivery service before the end of the week and that it was very likely the side rails and dresser would be delivered on Saturday with my mattress and my bed would be assembled. I received a text message on 11/19 that the dresser and rails were scheduled for delivery on 11/21 between 9:15 AM-12:15PM and the mattress and foundation were still scheduled to be delivered between 5:15-8:15PM per the automated phone service when I called and the previous text message I received. It is now the morning of 11/21 and I was called this morning and informed my dresser and side rails are available for delivery and asked if I wanted to schedule that. The woman I spoke with stated the delivery was not actually scheduled for these items for today, there is no record of them being scheduled in their system, and all she is able to do is schedule them for the future and there is no one else I can speak to in order to have this issue resolved in a timely manner. The next available delivery date for these items is now 12/3 and they cannot adjust the schedule to make accommodations for the remarkable failures of their team. I work on 12/3 and was scheduled to go out of town starting 12/4. They cannot schedule me for the following week because it’s too far in advance (???) and cannot guarantee a time for delivery on 12/4. So now I have had to postpone my trip and have already taken time off of work for these deliveries to still not have a functional bed set. I cannot comprehend how a company can function so poorly and still remain in business. This is completely unacceptable. Update on 12/6/20: I contacted the below email. I was offered 10% off only the order with the bed frame and dresser. My delivery date was unable to be moved to sooner than 12/4 even though this email is supposedly the ‘escalations team’. The crew arrived on 12/4 and discovered they did not have the hardware kit to set up my bed. I spoke with a woman named Cindy who said she would drop off the hardware kit personally if it was in stock and that a crew would be back after 4PM that afternoon to set up the bed. I received the hardware on my front porch however the crew never arrived to set up. My dresser was left in the living room to give them room to set up the bed under the pretense that they would be back that evening to set up the bed and move the dresser upstairs. Now the dresser is in the living room and I still do not have my bed set up. The response of the escalations email listed below was as follows: Good afternoon, I apologize about the incontinence mam, I also send an emergency response ticket to the distribution center to send out someone to assemble the items for you.

Can’t fulfill my furniture order and can’t fulfill my refund. Only thing they are good at is charging a credit card and pushing their boarder line scam protection plan. You’re better off sleeping on the floor than purchasing from “America’s number one mattress store.” Also why does their sales manager wear a lab coat like my 6 year old doing his kiwi co science boxes.

Paul was very professional and helpful when we were looking for new furniture for our house! He definitely went above and beyond when helping us find us selections and we will probably be returning again in the near future.

UPDATE 12/4 Still no couch. Still being given dates, then canceled. They have knocked roughly 40% off, but I'm still waiting for the couch.... UPDATE 9/21- I emailed, like requested, and received a response. It stated that I'd be contacted within 2 business days, which I was not. I emailed them back and was sent an apology and was told that I would be contacted asap. I was emailed by someone asking if I'd still like to cancel my order. I told them that I wish I could but I already have half the set. They told me that they would find out if my order can be expedited, and would get back with me. We were emailing back and forth pretty quickly, but when I responded stating that I think I should get a discount, I got no response. I emailed again today, with still no response. I'm looking to buy an additional sectional couch and a new bed, but I don't even want to go here for future purchases. This is unreal, the lack of communication is horrible. I'm a pretty understanding guy and if I could get someone to actually call me to discuss, it'd go a long way. I ordered a couch the first week of June, and was told that it would be 2 weeks or so before delivery. I have since been given multiple dates, as each approaches it is pushed back further. I've spent a minimum of 1 hour on hold each time I've called and have gotten no results. The last call I made, I was told that I'd be contacted by the store directly, to discuss options. I waited over a week before I went in to the store on Saturday and was told that it was going to be November before I receive my couch. They told me that they were going to see if they can get it faster and would call me, I am still waiting on that call, days later. The couch in question is still being displayed in their store, with no notes about being out of stock. If I didn't already receive the love seat, I'd just cancel this order and go elsewhere. I'm sick of waiting on my couch and even more sick of waiting on hold for an hour or more each time I call. This is absolutely insane to have to wait this long.

I had the worst experience ever with Ashley furniture. I ordered sectional from them in July, it’s December now and still waiting. The worst thing is that they keep scheduling the date and promising me that order will be delivered but then they call a day before to cancel the delivery because order is not ready to ship yet. They never pick up your phone at the store and when I call the customer service, I’m on hold for at least 40 minutes or more. Finally, when I can get in contact with someone at the customer service, they keep giving me a furniture delivery date, which has been postponed probably more than five times now. My husband also went to the store two times and they also give him a promising date which never seem to come to an end because they still don’t have our furniture ready to ship yet and they keep changing the date. I wanted to talk to someone at higher level at corporate but customer service person refused to give me any contact information for them and told me a manager will contact me, apparently they never did. Ashley Furniture Homestore, don’t take my money and my business if you can’t deliver your product or service even after more than four months. We’ve been very patient because of COVID situation but enough is enough. Never again will I do any business with Ashley.

We ordered our couch September 5 and we’re told our estimated delivery date would be December 1! I called and spoke with the order status center and was then told my order would not be fulfilled until February 23! My estimated delivery moves by almost 3 months and there is no communication of this by the company until we call as the consumers and inquire ourselves?! We paid almost $3k in full for our order and this is how they conduct themselves: we attempted to call the store we purchased from 14 times over the past 2 days, left a voicemail and an email and no response back from the Westland store! Shame on you! What an unprofessionally ran store 🙄

Do not buy online from this store.I ordered Bolenburg table and 6 chairs on July 3rd, 2020. I received the chairs in August, but still waiting for the table as of November 30, 2020. We have made at least a dozen phone calls to ask about delivery of the table, but we experience long waits, and another phone number to call. I already paid for it..... NEVER prepay for it. At this point,I will take any table that matches the chairs....which they said they won’t take back because of COVID and beyond the time limit. I have been lied to about delivery dates, and transit dates.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

We went in on Black Friday. Then compared with website on line. Can get a better deal on line thsn in the store. Sales personnel is very helpful and friendly, but having issues with the price issues.

Do not shop here period. If you want delivery you have to order the furniture and it never shows up. If you want to buy whats on the floor they wont deliver it. We wanted to buy a $4500 sectional sofa but they dont offer delivery of any kind. I work 6 days a week every week and dont have time to rent a uhaul as the sales man said and get a bunch of friends for the few hours a week i have free. Every other furniture store in the world offers delivery. The salesman was rude because we werent going to rent a truck to pick it up. He said we have 2 days to get it out of the store. I cancelled everything right there and then. Thats your job to get it to my house not mine. I would never order furniture and wait months for it like all the art van customers did, most will never get their money back.

We had wonderful customer service from when we walked in and were greeted by Paul Cole to our purchase we made by him. He was very pleasant and made our decision easy and pretty quick. We would definitely recommend this store and their awesome quality of furniture!

Awful customer service - never answers phone and on hold with corporate for over 25minutes as of right now. Item was expected 6-8weeks...before Thanksgiving, now they are saying Feb 28, 2021. We ordered in September. Trying to cancel is just another nightmare!

Warning 🗣This place is a real joke do not spend your money here.My family and I ordered a bedroom set for our daughter on Sept 15 ..oringally they said it would be delivered on Sept 29th which was a lie then they said it would be Oct, after calling and calling to get no answers,Finally going back up to the store they said Oct 15, that was a lie..so when we finally did get our delivery they didn't deliver all the product. They forgot the mattress, now going back to the store to pitch a fit, we get another false date.Long story short here it is almost thanksgiving and we still haven't got all our items we paid for in September please save your self the Hell.

Do NOT do business with this company. We ordered a couch and shelving unit in July. After numerous delays we didn’t receive anything until mid November. We are still waiting on the shelf. The WRONG couch was delivered (mirror imagine of order) with a stain. The drivers did not have the correct tool to install the legs, so they left it laying on the floor. Additionally, we were shorted bolts and expected to not only install ourselves, but go to the hardware store and purchase the parts needed on our own. Priscilla, the store operations manager failed to return promised calls and no one picks up the phone when you call the store. I took a day off work to come into the store to arrange a fix. They tried to turn me away telling me to call corporate again. Instead, I am requiring another store manager to call corporate and wait on hold with me. So far we’ve been on hold for 30minutes and were disconnected. The store will not pick up the incorrect product or refund our money for another 2 weeks. Additionally, while all of this is going on, Ashley is currently selling the couch for less than we paid for it 3.5 months ago. Last but not least, the majority of the staff at this store in all of our visits either failed to wear a mask, or wore it under their chin and did not social distance. So on top of breaking price trust, failure to deliver product or suitable customer service, Ashley Homestore even makes you feel unsafe. Never again.

It took about 3 months for furniture delivery and once it was delivered the product was damaged and I was on hold for over 20 minutes to report the issue and they could not guarantee they could remedy the matter timely or at all. I was routed to a call center for that report. There was no manager that they could send me to. I attempted to call the store i purchased the furniture at, but no one would pick up my call. I also had issue with another delivery. Needless to say I would not recommend Ashley unless you want to wait 3 months for damaged goods and bad customer services and delivery drivers who don't wear masks during Covid.

We went to Woodhaven store and the sales person Brian was AWESOME!!!! We are so happy with our purchase!!

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and Alexis showed me the floor model and less than 30 mins later it was ordered and paid for.

Im only giving a rating of one because you can't give a negative star and still get posted. We went in back in July and purchased furniture for our dining room and living room over 6k in items. We were told with Covid expect a delay but should have it by late September early October at the latest.. Well in mid-October we hadn't received anything so we went in. We were told the sectional we ordered was so back ordered it wouldn't be available till March 2021 so the manager canceled that item. Our dining set and entertainment center however were told it would be delivered on the 28th. So we get the call on the 26th your order will arrive on the 28th between 5-830pm. Ok cool just like they said. Then we get another call on the 27th there was an error and our items won't be coming on the 28th and could take another 7-9 weeks. We haven't heard from them since. So we canceled our order this afternoon we are done dealing with this. 5 months with no furniture and no real answers how much longer we have to wait is to much to deal with. Covid or not there is a difference between good customer service and bad customer service. Our personal experience your customer service was piss poor. We won't be back.

I walked in just to look at bed sets and I kinda had my eyes set on one and maybe another . The store associate, Brian in Woodhaven steered me in the right direction and any questions, he had the right answers and the place was very welcoming and warm. I’m going back for other items soon.

Honestly, there were a lot of reasons today i won't return to this store most likely ever. Numbers are on the rise with covid and not a single employee was properly wearing a mask. All of them that were wearing had noses out. There was no type of social distancing. My father and i didn't even get a chance to look around for what we wanted to shop for without 3 employees at the same time circling us. Constantly pushing us to make a deal, trying to suggest items without even trying to talk to us. Clearly a commission based job. And i understand some places want it that way but circling us like hawks, badgering us, trying to push deals on us. It was just an awful experience for me.

Horrible will never shop there again they lie and sell furniture that's not in stock. They do not contact you or return your calls make you sign off to wait and when it goes by the deadline you still have no furniture no answer the manager priscilla lies that she can get you your furniture and nothing. I have been waiting since Aug was called for a delivery then to be called back the next day and told you have nothing coming even though I was sent a email to confirm delivery took off work to get nothing. Then was told 12 weeks and a date of Nov 16 when I called customer service and today was told sometime in December unsure will send an email to the manufacturer to call you. Which you never receive a call, worst store worst shopping experience ever all you get is lies. Wish I could give no stars

Couldn’t have had a worse experience. I ordered July 3rd, and still have not received my dresser. They do not answer their phones, tell you they’re going to deliver at 9:15 am and end up delivering at 5pm. After over 3 months of waiting for my dresser, when they did deliver it they dropped it and broke my outdoor decor. The manager said she would call me back and still has not in going on 4 weeks. Horrible customer service and will never shop here again.

Update: we were told 2-4 weeks for delivery and after 6 weeks we finally heard from them. They never return calls and rarely answer the phone. We ended up cancelling our order for new couches and will go somewhere else.

Terrible experience. Bought two couches. Stated from the get go was moving to the westside of the state and the address was going to need to be changed. Took 6 phone calls (which you'll be on hold minium 20 minutes each time) to change address. 3 different delivery dates were cancelled. Then after 8 phone calls they then said we're out of delivery range. They knew all this information from the very beginning where they would have to ship too. After multiple frustrations we are now just sitting here for over a month for a refund which puts my money on hold now and no couches

The furniture is gorgeous and reasonably priced. I was expecting my delivery at the end of October...However, when I didn’t hear from anyone, I called and I was told my order was now backordered to next year. Why don’t they let you know when they’re going to miss the anticipated timing they promised you? Then nobody answers the phone when you call the store, I have been trying to get ahold of someone there for weeks with no luck.

Ordered a couch in July, it was supposed to be delivered October 6th, then I had to call to find out why I didn’t get an update on my deliver. They then pushed my order to October 22. 3 weeks later I call again and they push my order to December 22. That’s 5 months I’ll be waiting for a couch and they can’t even tell me why it’s been delayed.

Dissapointed with the lack of transparency and ability to communicate with customers accordingly. Worked with a "great salesman", Brandon, at the Westland store for almost 2 months. But that's what he was - a SALEMAN. He was patient with us as we shopped around for the first furniture set for our new home. When we finally decided, Brandon PROMISED us it would be delivered by 10/23 (about 8 weeks out). I had friends who were fighting with the Westland store regarding being promised a similar delivery timeframe. The week we purchased, they contacted the store because they ended up needing a small refund due to not neeing one of the extra pieces they were talked into buying... They then found out it would be an additional 2 months before they got their furniture, not the original 8 weeks, and up to 7 days to see the refund (Fun fact: This was in AUGUST. They STILL have NOT recieved their refund or furniture!). Anyways, knowing my friends experienced this deceit, I told Brandon, "listen, it's okay if it's longer than 8 weeks - just be honest with me. What's a realistic timeframe." Especially understanding COVID-19 and some factories being shut down in different states due to stay home orders across the country. Brandon not only promised me it would be to their warehouse by 10/23, he told me he is "going to work on it getting here even sooner." 10/23 came and went. It is 10/30 now. No delivery. No calls. No emails. Absolutely no contact from Ashley's. So, I called them. They told I SHOULD have it by the END of December.

Lie after lie. Delivery dates they tell you are lies. Ordered early august was told november 12th at the latest. Just called and was told christmas. Absolutely ridicoulous. They want to charge a penalty to cancel your order, but they lied so it doesnt make sense. Bad business practice. Do not buy anything from Ashley furniture.

Greatly disappointed with the service they offer. I ordered by bed set 2 months ago and they said we will get the delivery in first week of October. I have been trying to call them since beginning of October and every time they are pushing the delivery further for 2 weeks. Store representative at Westland, MI store was really rude and cannot provide enough information. Look for better customer service at different furniture stores.

To anyone looking to purchase furniture, RUN the other way. I would absolutely never recommend them. I was told my couch would take 2 months and I am now waiting 4 months. Their customer service is awful and they all will tell you different information. I will never being purchasing another item from them.

We ordered a table on 8/12. We’ve received text alerts two times now, taken off work to be there for delivery only to be told that it was an error and our furniture wasn’t even ready for delivery. It’s impossible to talk to anyone regarding delivery, at the location we purchased it from or customer service. You wait on hold for at least 20 minutes before hopefully talking to someone that can help. We are supposedly having our table delivered on 11/7. I’ll believe it when I see it. Will never shop here again.

Sales associate were friendly but did not find what I was looking for

Very nice selection of furniture but the staff never bothered to ask if we needed some assistance or had any questions. Everyone was sitting down looking at their phones or talking to each other. We left after 25 minutes. I figured, if they're not interested neither am I. 10-26-2020 2:30pm.

Communication is a huge issue here. I ordered a couch set in June and they have no idea when it is going to come. Apparently it is just sitting in a warehouse. The rep when I bought the set told me one month. Anytime I call it's a 30 to 45 min wait for them to just tell me the date has been pushed back another month. Never once have they apologized, or offered any other resolution. I would have gone elsewhere if I knew this was going to be a 5 month wait that's just crazy. Again the furniture is great but communication has been less than stellar.

We purchased a sectional on August 2nd, we payed full price and we knew delivery would be awhile under the circumstances. We were told November 4th. We also weren’t sure about adding an armless chair to the couch if it would fit in our room. So we were told to contact our salesperson who gave us his direct contact information to cancel it. We cancelled it August 5th and have YET to be refunded. I reached out to the salesmen to give us updates on delivery and NOTHING. So I called the main number today and was told the armless chair had not been cancelled and that our delivery date is now December 23rd!!!!! To say I’m upset with the transparency of this company is an understatement, The lady on the phone told us to go into the store because you can’t get through to the actual store anyways. That’s a whole other problem!

It's never a good sign when they won't answer their phone. There must be hundreds of people calling this store wondering where the furniture they ordered 3 months ago is. The staff here are not helpful. Everyone kept looking at us and walked by. We finally ASKED for help, the first person referred us to another guy and he pointed to where the products were and walked away. We left and went to Bob's furniture where we got help immediately through the door and purchased a full bedroom set and living room set. I will never tell anyone to buy anything here at Ashley. Ps. It could be the location.

Kaitlyn was the assistant who helped me. She explained the dining room set I wanted should be ordered on line it was not carried in the store but she stopped and took the time too order it for me. For that I'm so grateful

Service is very slow When you call them they will not answer and also they give a personal google phone number expecting to get a hold of them. I had to drive back 45 mins just to talk to someone and waiting another 30 mins for someone to assist you. For Service its not the best place to go. No customer service. They no that your waiting but they brush you off.

Zero stars for this HomeStore. We booked an appointment online so we could browse for a couch. We decided on one in-store and worked with a salesperson to purchase on 9/7. Our estimated receiving date, as stated on our paperwork, was 10/16. With no phone call or email to tell us if our furniture was being delivered, we attempted to call the phone number on the paperwork and online all day. We could not get anyone to answer the call. We resorted to the online chat where the customer service rep told us our estimated shipping date is 12/8. A reasonable business would contact a customer if their arrival date had changed. On top of wasting a day trying to figure out where our money went and why no one at this business is answering the phone, we must go to the store to cancel our purchase. There are no excuses for poor customer service and business procedures. Avoid Ashley HomeStore! Update: We went to the store and they figured out a way to get us our furniture by the end of the month. I would still not recommend this store due to the run-around we needed to do as a customer when all the business needed to do was answer the phone.

Excellent furniture selection. We set a budget, and were able to find a sofa & loveseat in the color we wanted with the features we wanted within the budget. My favorite part of the shopping experience at this store was that there was no high pressure sales person trying to talk us into something we didn't want just to make a sale. The associate helping us was personable. Other associates simply asked us if we were being helped while walking by if the associate helping us wasn't nearby. All together a great shopping experience!

I'd like to give them negative stars. They stole 1,200.00 from us. We paid in full for a table and were told 10 days near the END of the sale. It's been a month now and they're telling us it won't be in for another two weeks. We're certain that's a lie too and want a refund. Their customer service center told us to wait 48 hours and the refund doesn't happen, to go to the store. I can see from some of these reviews that this is a recurring problem. Why don't you just explain to your customers that there's a three to six month waiting period to receive the merchandise they're about to purchase before you sell it to them? Because no one would shop there, that's why. And they shouldn't.

We've been searching for a bed for our daughter, amongst other things. Paul, our Ashley salesperson was more than patient in helping us find what we needed. We were more than appreciative!

First it was a so so sales experience. We had to work with 3 different sales people who all had something different to say. Finally find something have it delivered. 3 re deliverys later and the problems still aren't fixed. We settle because it is hidden. Now the furniture is falling apart. The ottoman is caveing in on a corner. Seams and frames are pulling apart. There so called awesome cover everything warranty will cover none of it. Buyer beware. Terrible service terrible furniture. First time buying brand new furniture and it was awful. Buyers beware. Update: After having somebody contact us after leaving the bad review. They have done nothing and told us they would do nothing to fix their busted furniture. Ashley says contact the warranty company the warranty company says contact Ashley. Nothing but a run around. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!!

I have the over sized power recliner from one of their sets and am currently purchasing the matching power loveseat. While I ordered and paid for the loveseat in full last week, I have yet to receive a date for delivery. While I understand that it will take longer because of the pandemic, it would still be nice to have a date. I will update this rating if need be. **UPDATE** 7/13/20. I emailed them @ the address below. They have now sent it to their "escalation team" to be resolved. Let's see how this goes. Will update again if needed. *UPDATE* It is now 9/8/20. Still no delivery date. Zero response from the "escalation team". Highly recommend you do not purchase from this company unless you take the product with you at the time of purchase. *UPDATE* 10/6/20. We received our reclining loveseat about 10 days ago. If you are not taking your items with you plan on: an approximate 8 - 10 week wait on delivery, at least a 40+ minute hold wait time on the phone and tons of misleading emails (IF you even get responses.) While I do love finally having the matching items for my living room set, upfront honest communication would have gone a LONG way and would have saved both them and myself a lot of headache. Sadly, I will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Absolutely the worst customer service. We ordered & PAID for our furniture on July 10th and have not received one update from Ashley on the status of our order. Instead I have to sit on the phone for a 1/2 hour waiting for someone to answer & tell me they have no idea when my furniture will be at the warehouse. My order also does not show online so I also cannot track it there. I just feel totally disrespected as a customer which sucks because I really loved what they had to offer. boo.

Worst experience ever! We ordered our sofa sectional back in July. Its now been almost 3 months and we haven't heard anything back. I try calling the number provided and everytime im on hold 20-30 min, sometimes even an hour... horrible customer service so I go into the store where I purchased the sofa and they tell me they'll have someone call me... still havent heard anything. Im sick of getting the run around. It's football season and cant even enjoy it on our new couch! They're just sitting on our money, no communication, horrible run business!!

HORRIBLE it would be a book if I tell you my entire experience since July. Short version, terrible customer sevice, wait more than an hour to talk to someone to be transferred for bother hour on hold, they never show up when you select delivery dates EVER, random peices of furniture arrive every month but missing all the rest, got cussed at by the delivery man who was supposed to put my dining table together that I PAID TO BE PUT TOGETHER and sat in my garage for 3 weeks waiting for the random table base to come so it COULD be finally put together, then he put together wrong, still waiting for them to come and fix it so I can use it been over a month sitting in my dining room! Was told they would pay my 1st 2 payments they didn't and my credit account got late fee and marked on my credit report! Got bedrails delivered the other day, nothing else so its sitting in my empty bedroom waiting for the rest which isn't coming till DECEMBER. This place is a JOKE you can't cancel your order once placed unless you pay 10% no one answers the phone eveeeerrr

Horrible Horrible Furniture Company! Been waiting for my bed and chairs since JULY! I moved my old bed in anticipation for my delivery TODAY! But after waiting ALL DAY, I decided to call them after no call or show after waiting on hold for another 40 mins... I was given a fourth delivery DATE!!! I paid in cash over two thousand dollars for my items upfront! Stay away from ASHLEY FURNITURE they are not HONEST THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! I wish there was a way for a negative star rating!

The staff was very knowledgeable and low pressure. The selection was vast and constantly being updated. I felt like we acquired some great deals today with 20% off this weekend. We will definitely go back when we need new furniture in the future.

Bought our furniture, already been billed for it and still waiting for delivery, been 2 months. Are pursuing legal action against this company do not buy from!!! There is a FB group that helps woth problems from this store. They actually have advocates to solve problems, a damn shame....

If i could give negative stars i would. remarkably unhelpful customer service in regards to deliveries. borderline contempt to customers. complete lack of regard for their customers. more than happy to take your money but will never deliver furniture. no one follows up on complaints. i would sooner learn to build furniture myself then even accept free product from this mickey mouse organization.

I would literally give no stars, the customer service is horrible! My mother is elderly and ordered new furniture back in June, they gave her a date of delivery for July 1st every time she called they pushed back her delivery date. Keep in mind she paid them in cash. by Early AUGUST she decided to cancel her order so she can a refund, she went to the store to get her money back they told her thet don’t do cash refunds. Here we are September approaching October in a week she still have yet to receive her money back. It makes me so mad these people are taking advantage of my elderly mother that has medical problems 😡😡 and every time I call nobody answers the phone. this place is a scam I will make sure I get in touch with my lawyer about this if this issue is not resolved ASAP.

Highly disappointed in the delivery or should i say lack of delivery. I have spent 2 hours trying to get a live body on the phone to confirm if my furniture is being delivered today, per email received earlier this week. It was not delivered the first date they provided and now I am questioning today. I am unaware of the time they deliver until and I am stuck waiting instead of doing other planned activities. Update I instant messaged with an employee who told me my order is scheduled for delivery September 29th and could not respond to why I have an email stating yesterday. I was also told they will not charge me until my order is delivered. I have already been charged for the furniture. This is horrible customer service and I hope someone calls me to explain asap.

I hesitate to even give them one star.......Ashley Home Furniture is a complete sham of a company. Nothing that they advertise is ever in stock. Placed an order for a bedroom set over two weeks ago, have not been contacted by anyone to update us on a delivery date. They've charged my credit card twice now for delivery fees on an order they can't even provide me with a delivery date for because, surprise, it's out of stock!!!! Horribly disappointing

The WORST FURNITURE BUYING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD STAY AWAY STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE

I brought furniture in June, the store informed me that it would be delivered in July as I would be hosting an event. July comes, no word on the furniture. I call, they hang up on me 3 times after being on hold for 45 minutes plus each time. I finally get through, they tell me the furniture will be delivered at the end of August. August comes, again no word. I go up to the store, they schedule my delivery and ensure me the furniture will be here 5Sept2020. I get a call to confirm delivery. On the 5th only half of my delivery comes. The delivery men tell me they dont work for Ashley's and this is all they have. I call, they tell me the other half will be here on the 17th. The 17th comes, no word. I call, they hang up on me only once this time. Then when the phone is answered tell me they didnt mean to answer it and place me on hold again, to tell me my furniture is all ready but it's in the warehouse. I understand that things are backed up at this time, but a simple call would be nice. I had to change locations of an event at the last minute. Rush the construction of my bathroom only to still have no furniture 2 +months later. No one apologized of offered anything for the inconvenience to me and my family. Never again.

It's been almost a year and I haven't heard anything from them. Came into the store on multiple occasions to try and fix my order. They said the manager will call me but they never do. If you are the manager of this Ashley's store, please call me back! I just want my nightstand!

I am writing this review after waiting 2+ months for my furniture that I was told would be here 4 weeks ago and counting. I also am constantly being told varying dates and getting texts saying it will arrive on a specific date and then no one shows up and I had taken the day off and arranged someone to be home to accept furniture that never comes. This has happened twice now and I have half a sectional and dining chairs without the table. No one answers their phone in the store and customer service is terrible.

Came in today ready to buy a new sectional. Not a single employee acknowledged my family the entire 45 minutes I spent browsing the store. I guess no one wanted their commission today.. Oh well, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I wish I could give a lower rating!!! We ordered our furniture the middle of July and was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. Well it’s been 8 weeks now with no update on a delivery date and when I called customer service, after sitting on hold FOREVER, she tells me it’s going to be another 6 weeks before it’s delivered!! So we have to sit on the floor in our new house even longer because we still don’t have our furniture! Every time I had them transfer me to a supervisor they just hung up on me. I will NEVER be shopping here again!

Love my end tables that I ordered online, but remembered why I limit my in store visits when I went in here. Most employees and patrons were not sporting their masks properly. The one employee I found wearing a masks properly that I asked a question of and showed a picture to on my phone, invaded my personal space to touch my phone without permission or sanitizing. This isn't 2019. You guys need better Covid training.

Ordered couch and loveseat. Spent over 2000$. Delivery guys couldn't find the power cord that feeds the usb outlet inside the center console of loveseat. Told me to call Ashley to have them send one. Spent hours trying to call before I got through. Explained exactly which cord I needed. They sent me wrong one. Called again, sent wrong one again. So I gave up. So now I have a 2000 dollar set of incomplete furniture. Will go elsewhere next time

Very nice and friendly place. Staff was very friendly and not one of them annoying ones that follow you everywhere you go in store. Store was laid out very well and easy to walk thru.

Worst experience ever. We ordered bedroom furniture over the phone from this store. The issues arose after our delivery got canceled multiple times without notice. Finally when the order came, the delivery guys half assembled it, and said they “forgot a part and would be back in 45 mins.” When we called the store 7 hours later and after waiting on hold for 1 hour, they said they don’t know what happened. Apparently in their records, all the parts were together. They said they had no phone number or any way to contact their delivery guys as they are a third party. They said it might take an additional 4 days before they come back, which I’m highly doubting at this point (I’d be surprised if they came back at all). So basically the delivery guys just walked out on us, left my furniture half completed, probably with the intention of never returning, with no way to contact them. So frustrated right now. I’d definitely suggest buying from somewhere else!

I ordered a dresser and mirror on July 9 & it did not get delivered until September 1 and when it arrived the mirror was broken. I told the delivery guys and he said they make a note on my account, the representatives are giving me the runaround, I keep getting transferred and they tell me they will call me back and no one never calls , no one is trying to come pick the mirror up and give me a replacement or give me a refund! I was at the Ashley Store in Woodhaven, Michigan. I was greeted at the door by Paul C. he stayed with me thru the sale..I purchased the Prentice Bedroom set & Sealy Mattress...Paul was very knowledgeable & answered all my questions & gave his opinions which were so helpfull..I Also bought a Recliner couch & chair...I was more than happy to get Free Delivery & 25% off my purchase....Michele was also Available with her Interior Design expertise...I have been to many Furniture Stores in the last couple weeks & I have been very disappointed with the service or should I say lack of...It was a pleasure to deal with Ashley's Paul & Michele...Thank You & I'm sooo Excited ...Can't wait to get all my New Ashley Furniture❣

My wife and i purchased a sectional about a year and hafe ago and it started failing after about a year. I purchased a warrenty and called right when the covid started and they didn't want to send any body to fix it. I understand. Well fast forward 4 months later and now when I call about the couch that issue (coming apart at the seems) is not under warrenty. Ashley furniture is extremely low quality and there warrenty is a scam.

Stay far away from the Ashley Furniture store in Westland. As we were looking around and found the couch we liked and took pictures of the advertised price sign, the “salesman” Eldon came by and removed the sale price sign right in front of me, which contained no terms, no end date and no disclaimer and then claimed his manager told him to remove the sign and that sale is over and walked away as I was talking. Unfortunately for Eldon and Ashley Furniture, this action is illegal in the State of Michigan and far from compliant with the Michigan Consumer Protection Act. I’d suggest you guys learn a bit about sale and promo law before you get yourself in big trouble with your greasy tactics. It’s a BIG YIKES for Ashley Furniture in Westland. You probably saved me a future headache of dealing with you guys anyway, so thank you for being terrible at customer service!

Highly disappointed, we have been waiting for our living room furnitures for over 3months now going to the 4th month, and yet they send us delivery dates and canceled a day to the date, and never pick your calls, I wouldn’t recommend, they would definitely disappoint

Our experience with the service and salesman at the store was excellent. However, we have been waiting almost 2 months for delivery. They schedule my delivery and then move it multiple times. The latest delivery was set for this Saturday the 29th; however, I received a message this morning that now it is pushed to middle to end of next week. This happens weekly. I called to address the issue and the lady said my furniture is not at the wearhouse and hung up on me! This is absolutely unacceptable. We are canceling our order and going elsewhere. We will never buy from Ashley again.

UPDATE: Couch was delivered today. With some small damage on the bottom - dust cover had a hole in it. It took this post (and a yelp post), a little email back and forth, and a phone call to get our shipping cost refunded (which was nice!) and a semi accurate delivery time given to us. We never really got a clear date. The emails and phone call said they would be getting us a clearer date and we kept getting texts for delivery last week (which we assumed were wrong). Then at the end of last week, we got a text message asking us which date we wanted the couch delivered (we said today 8/21). We were skeptical but it was delivered. I'm going to 3 stars because they did refund the shipping cost and we ultimately not what we wanted, BUT I'm not sure I'd go back here for furniture. Again, I realize covid created chaos but I don't think it should be this difficult for communication to be figured out, imo. INITIAL post below ------------------- HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - AVOID. I bought a couch June 6 with estimated delivery July 17. 1 week before expected delivery, get delivery confirmation email and I confirm it. 4 days before delivery, I get rid of my old couch. 3 days before delivery, get delivery confirmation text and I confirm it. 2 days before delivery, get an automated call saying couch will be here between 12-3pm . THE day before, get a call saying my couch delivery is delayed by 1.5 MONTHS!!!! There is just no way this all of a sudden happened. I understand COVID creates uncertainty and would understand a delay if that was communicated with me at any point over the last 1.5 months. BUT 1 day before something is supposed to be delivered that the couch is delayed 1.5 months is a HORRIBLE experience. No awareness of a delay for the last 1.5 months is NOT ok! I also called customer support, talked to someone that said they couldn't do anything and when they transferred me to someone else for more assistance the phone call just ended after 10 minutes on hold...

Called Westland location many times and been on hold each time for more than 30 mins. Horrible communication experience. They haven’t confirmed any delivery date and it’s been over a month since purchase. Absolutely ridiculous.
