It was my 1st time visiting Ashley furniture. Sale rep Joseph Hogan was pleasant. The furniture i originally wanted was not at the store, online only. I'm a visually person when it comes to buying household furniture and electronics. I was able to purchase some nice furniture that I felt was comfortable for me. Joseph was able to assist me with my questions as well as searching for the color in which I was interested in. Overall visit was nice and customer service was good.

1st time ever walking into this store, Ashley furniture. A pleasant surprise. Walked in for a quick peek around & impressed with the offerings & cleanliness of the store. Spoke with Paul who was professional and did not hound me at every step we went in the store. Though what we went in for was not available we did fund a new table lamp on clearance that was a phenomenal buy! We would definitely go back next time we're in need if furniture.

Went to store and ended up ordering $3500 of furniture. Literally took three days out of our moving schedule to complete transaction.

So far my experience has been great. Lisa, my sales person, met me at the store to complete my sale which I liked having the same Rep to assist from beginning to end. Now, I’m anxious to see his delivery and set up goes 😄

The salesman was very helpful. He helped us purchase 2 recliners at a great price. They have beautiful furniture. I would recommend them to anyone.

Do not buy furniture from here. My wife and I went there to look at a new chair and half. We looked around and instead found a bedroom set we loved. We worked with Lisa and decided on a new matress to go with it as well. We were quoted a price and she told us it might be off by a few cents. We left to compare with Gardner White. We decided on the Ashley set because it checked all our boxes. When we came back, we let Lisa know we would move forward. The final price was over $500 more than she quoted us. The manager Juan stepped in when he could see we were upset about a potential bait and switch. He did work out a deal to come close to the original quote. We shook hands and I paid in full. We set a delivery date for today and followed the instructions given to make sure we were all set and responding to the delivery bots texts quickly to confirm the delivery. We went home and spent days clearing our room of the old furniture and tore down our old bed this morning. Today, they delivered the matress and box springs only. The matress was also ripped. I called to see what happened and was told the distribution center screwed up and they will have the furniture delivered tomorrow. This made no sense because we bought the floor model! It was already sitting right there! I was told I had to call a number to replace the matress. Luckily, Iontane was kind enough to set this up for me. I called work and let them know I would need an additional day off to be here. Lisa called and couldn't have been more rude about the situation. She basically let me know we already got a price discount and there was nothing more that would be done to compensate the on-going headache. Keep in mind, I never asked, she just decided to tell me I have to deal with it and I am not the only person this happens to. It turns out she was right! We let friends and family know what we are dealing with and they said similar things happened to them when they bought furniture here. I was also just informed that tomorrow is not an option for delivery and they will try for Saturday. Great, i get to call HR and try and get my PTO request reversed now! We have to spend the next two nights sleeping on the floor with our old furniture and clothes scattered around the house because we can't move anything around without the new dressers to put stuff in. Avoid buying anything from this store. It's not worth it. You can get the same furniture from a company that knows what they are doing and will treat you right. We still need a chair and half with an ottoman and planned on going there again to buy it. Not anymore!

We purchased our couch and loveseat in 2022. We thought it was leather. It was faux leather. So now only having it almost 3 years the material has worn off where your head touches. I think it's from my husband's bald head, maybe due to oils in your skin. So heads up on purchasing faux leather! It's on all the headrests. So sad because we do love the set.

My salesperson Juan was extremely helpful and courteous and knowledgeable while showing different styles of sofas. He made the shopping experience pleasant from beginning to end. I am very pleased with the purchase! And highly recommend Ashley furniture!

Paul was probably the best salesman we’ve ever had. Gave us space, no sales pitch nor had that sales personality. We actually canceled our furniture from ABC after dealing with Paul & Ashley price.

Horrible. Took 4 months to get my bed delivered. Store manager promised he would compensate me for the long delay once my order was finally delivered. Now he is ghosting me. Not cool at all. I will continue to call him daily and will eventually make my way to the store once my broken foot heals. The only thing this store has going for it is the quality of the furniture but their customer service and delivery SUCKS!

I was misled on the promotion They gave me when I purchased my furniture and now I’m being charged hundreds of dollars of interest do not do business with this company runaway do not believe a word they will tell you it is all a lie. You’re much better off getting furniture from Bob’s or Gardner White or literally any other store. It could be Walmart just do not do business with this company, their customer service is based out of Korea or somewhere where you can’t understand anybody. these people are the worst they just want your money and then it’s none of their business. That’s what the manager said to me.

No hardware built into the bottom of the couch to attach 2 of the feet. Truck wasn’t even 20 minutes away and they wouldn’t turn around now we have a useless couch in my living room. Unable to give 0 stars

Unfortunately this has been the worst form of customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. Most of the store staff is friendly and willing to help but the manager Juan has failed to reach out on 4 different occasions over the last week to get an issue resolved. Upon delivery of a piece of furniture the delivery team (late by an hour after the time window) took one chance at fitting the furniture in our room then said they didn’t have time to mess with it and left. At this moment I am still waiting for Juan to reach out and fix this issue.

Terrible service. From delayed delivery to service issues. Kitchen table was first promised in 2 days after purchase. Timing was very important to me. Then notified by text it was delayed by three weeks. The table was delivered finally and paid extra to have assembled. Found out missing a major piece. Could not put together.,said they would ship the piece to me and then have to set up another service call for it to be put together. The piece that was ordered did not fit so another week to wait for a new table. In total waited 5 weeks and had to take off multiple days of work for delivery. Reached out two times to the store manager and left messages. Promised I would get a call and compensation. No follow up from the store or manager. I knew. Ashley had some bad reviews but was trying to give my local store my business, but lesson learned.

We drove to the warehouse to pick up our table to drive back across town and unpack it to find water damage. After 3 hours on the phone, still no progress!! I am tired of buying products from them and accepting them as they are. No more. They will not like it if I have to drive back to Michigan from Iowa to return this damn Table. We bought it for our son while we were out of state, and they asked for our home address. What a cluster “F—-“!!!!

This is mine and my wife’s second time dealing with this ashley furniture store and both times we have had problems. I told myself after the first time, where our furniture we were told would arrive in 2 weeks got pushed back months, that we would never go back but when we were considering a different furniture company my wife wanted to go in and sit on furniture similar hence why we went into Ashley. While in the store, we got convinced to go with Ashley again this time around because they “fixed all those problems we used to have.” We were told we would get our chair, ottoman, bed frame, 5 drawer chest, mirror and dresser all on the same day. Upon taking time off work to be here for the delivery and with no notice, only our chair, ottoman and bed frame were delivered. Upon calling customer service, I was told that they got the other stuff the night before and the “truck was already loaded” so we had to wait for someone to contact us to reschedule the delivery despite it being THEIR mistake. We also ran into an issue with the delivery people as they say it’s “white glove” but the ottoman is dirty in the corner and the delivery guy was going to leave our headboard crooked before we said something to him. The sales people at this store were very nice and helpful but when it comes the shipping and delivery… they are an avoid at all costs!!

I don't even know where to begin with my HORRIBLE experience with Ashley furniture. I ordered a couch and chairs, delivery was going to take a month....wasn't a big deal. A couple days before they asked me to reschedule FOR A MONTH LATER so I decided to cancel my order. Talked to 2 different people who said everything was taken care of. Couple days later I get a text about my delivery. Called and talked to Juan who said nothing was canceled. I went through with delivery since I didn't have a couch and they could deliver in a couple days. Biggest mistake ever! I went through concora to finance an entertainment center. Called ashley to take it off my order, which they did, but I'm still getting billed for it! They also owe me a $600 refund a month after my delivery. FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING THROUGH ASHLEY!

Worst customer service ever. I had a kitchen table and stools delivered yesterday. One stool after the delivery I noticed the leg was short. I called multiple times before I could speak to someone. I talked to Ashley (LOL) was given a ticket #. This morning I called the Woodhaven store talked to Harley who instructed me to call the customer service # because the ticket opened up yesterday did not exist. Is this how customers should be treated? So very disappointed! First and my last purchase from Ashley's home furniture. I had so many other items on my list to purchase, but not considering now and have removed them from my list!

The staff is so friendly and helpful. They also were very knowledgeable about all the furniture and even helped me pick the right colors to match my fireplace. They went above and bryond and were never pushy. I highly recommend.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! LIARS AND DON’T HELP SOLVE PROBLEMS THEY CREATE! My wife and I ordered a bedroom set from them they delivered the wrong bed set and never helped us fix it we had to chase them And contact them the bed frame we ordered didn’t require a box spring the frame they delivered needed a box spring we could not sleep on our bed for over a week because they delivered the wrong frame AB’s wouldn’t even talk to us or help us get a discount on a box spring we ended up buying a box spring from a different furniture store because they were giving us the run around! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL! Never shop here Harley and Juan are horrible sales people and supervisors they just want to make their sales and be done with you we never ever heard back from them and Harley promised to be there every step of the way to help fix her mistake and I had to constantly chase them and get ahold of them

i cannot express how terrible the service is here, not just with this location but with this entire company. i’ve had broken furniture delivered to me and other people i know, had to fight to get that furniture discounted. had furniture that delivered that needed to be built on arrival, but the drivers didn’t have the tools to build it. i lost my credit card, requested a new one, it was delivered a month later with my name misspelled and no expiration date. requested a new one in FEBRUARY, it is April and i don’t have it yet. officially closing my account today. don’t get your furniture here.

I walked in at the store at 10:30. It is now 1130. I’ve walked around this whole entire store not one person has said hi. Can I help you with something not one person and I’ve been walking around the store for an hour not one person has walked up to me, not one person has asked me if I need help finding anything nothing this is pathetic. The only person that has said hi to me in the store was the lady that was painting the back wall So I probably won’t be coming back here. They do not have very good customer service maybe it’s because I’m a young girl and I don’t have a man standing next to me or I’m not an older couple and that’s why they’re not asking me if I need any help they should be ashamed of themselves

Terrible terrible service communication sucks. They say anything to pitch a sale. Just blatant lies. If I paid for whit claw which was an additional fee why is my dresser not being put together? Was told they discard old furniture that your replacing as well. Another lie! Delivery was constantly being delayed and rescheduled where I took those days off work and missed money all for them to call on the day of delivery and once I rescheduled I was advised that half of my order needed to be reordered due to issues on their end. So two days of work I have to miss to wait on them to do something that could’ve been done all at once if communication was key instead of misleading information to pitch a sale. I am never purchasing from this compant ever again. If I wanted to build my own items I would’ve ordered on Amazon and it would’ve been way cheaper!! You guys suck and I will also be calling your cooperate office to place an official complaint! I also find it funny how they reply to all the positive comments and disregard the ones that speak the truth. Have the same energy on everyone’s post. Seems like employees are writing there 4star reviews!

While on the hunt for new furniture I made a stop at Ashley furniture in Woodhaven and Austin was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Although I wanted to buy on the spot Austin understood I had to bring the wife back with me a few hours later to make sure she liked the 2 couches before jumping on the deal. Once the Mrs and I agreed Austin was able to make the whole application process quick and painless. Thank you Austin!

Here's an interesting situation. Dealing with Juan. AA++++ THEN you gotta deal with Austin. NOPE ! Arrogant sales manager unwilling to do anything to help. Walked out of the store. Will never return. Stay away. Dealing with Juan. Excellant. Unfortunately cannot deal with the " joke " of a manager Austin. Take your money to Bobs furniture. They care about there potential customers. Period.

Terrible Service! Me and my fiancé had an order for a table, 6 chairs, and a bench. Found out the table wasn’t in stock and had to wait weeks for it. Went to pick up the table today, and Austin Dietz was the worst Manager to ever speak to! Rude and very disrespectful to their customer!! He had such a snotty attitude acting like he had to run a whole building when there are zero customers in the building and there were 7-8 other employees sitting/standing at the main desk. I hope he gets fired for this! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!

We were in today for an appointment I had scheduled with Juan — when I say he went above and beyond I mean it. The whole staff was welcoming and so kind. I had my two small children with me and they even gave them stickers and candy! Juan was extremely patient with me constantly changing my mind on what I wanted and didn’t make me feel like I was being difficult at all! He was very educated on the fabrics and colors that were available and made the whole process a breeze. We will definitely shop Ashley again.

If I could give zero I would! We purchased a lot of furniture. And a lot of miscommunication in their end happened. The manager Austin was not helpful in anyway very arrogant and rude over the phone. Told them to cancel and refund our whole order they said they would and never did. I now have to dispute it with my bank because they won’t refund me.

I just bought a new living room set at Ashley furniture. They had a great selection, great deals, they’re willing to price match and they also offer financing if you need it. The sales staff was helpful and attentive. The furniture I bought was in stock so I didn’t have to wait long to have it delivered. This was my first time buying furniture since Art Van closed its doors so I wasn’t sure where I should shop. I would definitely recommend and will be a returning customer!

Beware of the return policies. There are none, unless you are buying a temperpetic mattress and you need to read carefully. You can exchange for equal or higher priced mattress. No money back, ever. If the mattress is cheaper you can push for a store credit which in my case didn't help me at all. Because I also purchased all new living room furniture when I bought the mattress. So I have no need for a store credit. Also to get the mattress exchange was like talking to a machine or several machines. I did talk to people, but all they did is send me someone else several times and it took multiple phone calls to get the exchange going. I still don't have my exchange mattress and wont get it until late next week. So that is almost 2 weeks after I started the process. I am pretty happy with the furniture I bought but I probably would not buy from them again, oh, I forgot, I have to, because I have a large store credit that I have to use. Lucky me.

Who ever does the delivery scheduling needs to be replaced. I was #9 on the delivery schedul where the delivery guys are putting the order together. How did any competent person ever figure I could get my order delivery by noon?

I've bought from Ashley's before and enjoy the furniture I purchased. They have nice quality furniture with great prices. The staff has a no pressure attitude and they are very knowledgeable about the furniture. We had one delivery issue in the past, but it was resolved quickly to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend purchasing from Ashley Furniture.

Just a warning if you buy anything from this company, be warned that they are horrible!!! The worse company I have ever worked with. I’ve had my sectional for 9 months after multiple deliveries of broken pieces and now a pice has been broke for 7 months!! They give me a runaround and have a service company come out to repair who showed up twice out of five appointments. Each time I’m told they can’t repair the piece yet Ashley furniture has not replaced the piece!! Horrible piece. Never again!! So as of today, 11/14/23, I have had two deliveries to supposedly replace the broken piece, the first one last week was an incorrect item and the one today came broken. Again, I bought this furniture in January 2023 and it was delivered in February 2023, broke in April 2033 and has since stayed that way. Each and every time a replacement comes, it is either stained, broke or wrong piece. The dining room table took 5 deliveries to actually have a table that was usable but I have to deal with the damages in that piece still. Just do you are aware, you buy furniture from this company, be warned it’s a nightmare that never ends. I forgot to mention that I did but an extended warranty but get this, it doesn’t cover any of the damages or replacements!!

The furniture we bought was fine. However they charged us a protection plan (roughly $750 cancelled within the 3 business days under Michigan law) and a delivery fee (roughly $350). We did not want the protection plan and we picked up our own furniture. When asked for a refund they gave us an "in store credit" for under $400. Unacceptable. We gave cash we want cash back. Been trying to resolve this for almost 2 months now. This is about an $1,100 issue in total. They are simply non responsive. Do not return calls. Thieves is the best word to describe them. Do NOT do business with their store on West Road. They are not honorable people. Mark Rigotti.

I came into the store where Juan introduced himself and told me what's going on for sales, then let me roam the store without following. He even gave me a tape measure so I could find the size furniture I was looking for. Answered everything I had questions for. It was a very pleasant experience!

I bought a mental bed frame to replace the wooden frame for a bed that was a little over a old after purchase. I had no idea when I purchased the protection policy that the frame would not be included. What else would break on a bed other than the frame? I learned that I could have purchased a metal frame originally but I was never informed until I came in for a replacement. WHY was that option of a metal frame never shared... Until now. If it was due to COVID supply issues then just tell me that and let me make the decision to wait! My issue with my current purchase is that I wanted the bed frame to be installed. My whole conversation during the purchase was are "they" going to remove the whole frame or just the wooden slats? Are "they" going to call before coming to fix the bed? Not sure what part of "they" meant.. white glove service was not needed. Instead I got drop off at the door. It was never clear to me that the new sales person and manager Austin would not pick up on that I would need assistant with install. I tried to have the sales to cancel the order and reorder with white gloves but I was told that the system was not working that night to perform this task. I was told that a note could be put into the computer and then maybe the delivery group would see it and to call the store in the morning so that the manager could possibly change the delivery date. The note in the computer did not work and calling the store in the morning did not work.. as I kept getting the recording that the store was closed at 9:00 a.m.. I accepted the bed frame and will pay for a handyman service but the frustration and aggravation of the lack of customer education on product choices is unacceptable. I was going to buy a lift chair for a loved one that I saw in the store but I would rather go to a competitor even if it cost more. My experience with Ashley HomeStore has been awful. Both times the sales persons were new and needed assistance which cause long wait time and the service was not what I expected. It appeared after multiple conversations the day before delivery that somehow it was my fault that the receipt only listed door delivery. I wished my review was better because I really wanted that lift chair.

Terrible experience they were supposed to deliver three pieces of furniture, but they only delivered two! The items that they did deliver were stained, holes, and wrinkles. It doesn’t appear that they’re gonna do anything for me, even though there’s a 30 day warranty. Supposedly the woman I talked to today was from corporate but I already told her that I already contacted the Better Business Bureau so we’ll see. I really don’t know how they can get away with this. Just want my money back. I won’t go to the store ever again keep in mind they do not give you refunds, even if the items are damaged 🥲 I guess an attorney next

We purchase furniture on Saturday October 14th they delivered it. Two of the chairs were broken at the bottom went to the store and told the manager Austin. He said he would order new coasters wheels I told Austin, it was broken where the wheels go in and they would not stay and also. I noticed overnight the chair wheels were digging into my floor went back to the store on Sunday, October 15th. Told him what was happening and asked if we could reorder something else and he told us no. He would not take that back We haven't even had the set 24 hours I just think Austin was very rude to us. Not professional at all I would appreciate if we get a call back from a district manager. Thank you just adding to my review today is December 22nd 2023 and I've still never received a call back from anybody about the problem I'm having for your protection, you should never buy from that store. They treat their customers terrible

DON'T ever order from Ashley Furniture! I ordered "in stock" furniture a month ago and still have not received it. Ashley Furniture cancelled 3 different delivery dates on me within 24 hours of confirming each time. I went to the 19820 West Rd location in person and the manager, Mike, asked me to pay the driver $300 cash on top of the $300 delivery fee I had already paid for a delivery date that had already been cancelled on me. Very shady! The store said that they only take the orders and money and have zero control after that. I've tried contacting the corporate office and was kept on hold for 1 hour and 22 minutes only to be told a supervisor would call me. Still no call a day later. They will not refund my account in full so now I have to dispute the charges. What a complete nightmare!

Juan was great. No pressure sales. Asked what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction. He checked up on us every once in a while just to see how we were doing. Bought a couch!

Not very happy at all. After a blundering fail in the delivery, my 2 consoles which were said to be available 7/26 are now discontinued. Thanks for selling me something you had to have known wouldn’t be available. Now we ended up going to the store and bought the floor model. Still short 1 piece of our original order. Overall a disappointing experience.

Worst customer experience of my life. Had items delivered that I do not wish to keep, however have been told they are final sale. Attempted to contact the hotline to cancel items that have yet to be shipped and have been told that items may not be able to be cancelled. My representative from the store is also unable to assist in a return/cancellation. I have not been able to get in contact with anyone who can give me a straight forward answer on anything.

I called to order a replacement part and the process was very difficult. I was told that the order was placed and I had to pay at the store. When I went to pay at the store they couldn't find anything. A called to customer service was not helpful. I had to go home get information from the couch and and return to the store. After an hour I finally was able to order the part; unfortunately the price was three times as much as I was told on the phone.

Will never shop here again ordered a bedroom set last week they promised it would be delivered Saturday and they called Friday and sent email to confirm and I confirmed with them. Friday at 5 pm I received a phone call. They cancelled my delivery because it wasn’t in stock. I called the store ( no call returned) and delivery people was given the run around. My sales person would not return a call to me or my mother. I will be getting a refund tomorrow. I have seen nothing but horror stories on their reviews. They lady never even apologized. This is unacceptable. They have a bunch of numbers you can’t get someone to answer or it says phones don’t work. This place is horrible and extremely unprofessional.

0 stars not 1 This has been a horrible company to deal with. Initially I had an extra item for one of the sectionals delivered, and had it returned. Only two have to dispute the return, which was finally granted. Only to have the armless loveseat section to my other couch delivered over two months later and be charged for it on my credit card not once but twice I’m still trying to get my money back for that. And I had a used couch, delivered, torn, and no tags, the repair man put a recommendation that it be replaced and not repaired only for the company to state they never received the paperwork on that so we are now at three months and finally had someone out that did repair it but it is been hell with this company, I never will again deal with Ashley Furniture. Buyer beware the furniture is also breaking down. My ottoman already had a sunken middle after two weeks. It’s now three months and it’s garbage. They use synchrony bank, which also is difficult to deal with to get your refunds for charges that are fraudulent.

I wrote a review after being told my warranty doesn't cover the lights on my sofa the warranty I paid 200 for someone from ashley reached out to me and told me that yes the lights were not covered who pays for a warranty to have there things half covered DON'T EVER PURCHASE THERE WARRANTY I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN

Nice, friendly, competent staff, very kid friendly with my 3 year old (didn't mind her trying out every chair and couch in the building). We were in and out very quickly compared to my past furniture buying experiences, which also helped with keeping the toddler happy and semi-well behaved.

We have been purchasing from Ashley Furnature for over 20 years. This time the product we receivesd was damaged and so far, it seems as though no one really cares. First I was told we would receive the new piece of furniture the same day. But of course that didn't happen and we still haven't received a call back. Very disappointed with Ashley Furniture.

Absolutely horrible! If I could give 0 stars I would. Made the mistake of purchasing a bed set here and we have yet to receive one that didn’t arrive damaged. Customer service is horrible and we’ve been sleeping on the floor for over a week now with 2 damaged sets being attempted to be delivered. customer service hung up on me and stated they don’t do refunds so now I’m stuck with a $2k charge and no items and have to go elsewhere to purchase something else with still no refund. Drove to the store and they said they can’t do anything and gave me another customer service number to call. If you care about your money DO NOT buy from here!

So i brought a chair here had it 6 days, then it broke call customer service they said take pictures and email them so i did, they respond we order the parts and when they arrive calls us back and we set up appointment to come fix it, NOW IT BEEN 13 DAYS SINCE I RECEIVED PARTS AND I HAVE CALLED AND EMAIL MANY TIMES AND THEY Still HAVE NOT GOT BACK WITH ME THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE... LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO FILEE SUIT AGAINST THEM.

Don’t make the mistake I made!! I ordered a bedroom set on 1/8 and the delivery was scheduled for 1/21 when it arrived it was broken and missing parts ,called multiple times and stopped by the store to find someone that will help, all we got was “wait 7-10 days” two months later and I’m still missing a drawer!!

I bought a bedroom set which had a matching desk so I got the desk as well which was $1100 and had the bedroom set delivered and only part of the L-shaped desk. It’s now been four months and the main part of the L-shaped desk isn’t available and has no expected delivery day. Keep pushing it back they keep saying 4 to 6 weeks. Every few weeks I called to see what’s up. There Customer service is not helpful at all or in person. Customer service isn’t helpful at all their online customer service they keep saying that they have no return policy. Well, I don’t have a full piece of furniture to return. I only have a part of a piece so I don’t see the reason I can’t bring this box to the home store and have them refund me and cancel the other part of the desk. Do not buy from them they only care about making a sale not what the customer goes through after they walk out of there store!!!

Sofa received with big dirt/grease stain on arm. Delivery guys contacted Ashley which supposedly set up an order to send someone out to clean but it has been a month and no one has contacted us about making it right. Poor customer service, I would buy elsewhere.

This is my first and last time shopping at Ashley furniture. After going to multiple furniture stores I found a really cute kitchen set at Ashley Woodhaven. The sales associate was helpful but not pushy. I was so happy to have finally found a kitchen set that I liked and was even happier when he told me it would be delivered on December 20th. Perfect timing with Christmas dinner. Flash forward to today. Not only was my table NOT delivered on the 20th, no one had the courtesy to call and give me a heads up. I had made arrangements advance to have someone here to accept the delivery because I had to work. I attempted to call several times to figure out what was going on and couldn’t get through to anyone. They don’t have an actual human answering the phone so you have to go through the auto prompts. I ALWAYS get disconnected and the option that ask if you want to talk to a sales person does not work. I also called the phone number off of the card that the salesman gave me and he doesn’t pick up or return my text messages. I called the Ashley headquarter number listed online and my phone call was directed overseas. Do NOT shop here if you actually want to get your furniture. I will be going in on Saturday to cancel my order.

This place is the absolute worst. The sales people are terrible and rude, they cant track your order. Furniture is unavailable for months and months...one of the worst furniture retailers in the world.

I can't get through to anyone higher up in regards to the wrong base being delivered. The rest of the bedroom set has been delayed 3 times now. They say they are putting us on a "call back list" but no one has ever called back. Worst company ever.

This is our first experience with Ashley furniture and I’m really disappointed. We ordered four dressers and two beds and they were supposed to be delivered on December 14th. This is for our children, and we were excited to have it before Christmas. We still don’t have our furniture even though we were assured that they were in stock when we ordered them. They don’t answer their phone so you have to go in in order to speak to someone. They promised us that they would call us to let us know what was happening and no one has gotten back to us. Everyone we speak to tells us that they are the manager? We asked for the name of the store manager and they gave us an email address for someone named Jesse Turner but he never responded. All we want is the furniture that we ordered.

They delivered my table with scratches and the wrong chairs and now they want to send someone out to fix the table and the people at customer care are lazy went through 4 different people to finally get someone to write up a ticket and I was told that someone from Ashley would get a hold of me not a third party to come out and fix the table nothing about chairs yet still have wrong chairs not happy so I think this is my last time going to Ashley to buy anything

Store is great. The delivery service they use do not respect your time and are extremely unprofessional. After 2 bad experiences with the delivery, we walked into the store and cancelled everything. Everything went very smooth, and professionally.

We just had our table delivered after waiting since May. We love the table but two of the chairs wobble. The table also wobbles. And they gashed our brand new floors. The irritating part is the guys had to know about the chairs and table wobbling and they know they gashed our floor and didn’t bother to say anything.

I made a large purchase of 20 plus items on 9/18/2022 in the amount of $10k. Before buying the furniture I was very adamant about only buying items that were in stock. The salesperson (Cody Brindley) was completely aware of this. As we were adding items to the order I made sure he double checked all items to make sure they were in stock. We are now in November and the 800 number is telling me only 4 items out of the 20 plus I bought are in stock. Let me repeat I would never of bought 1 item that was not in stock. I have not had one person from Ashley Furniture contact me about most of my order not being in stock. It’s a shame someone can spend $10k on furniture and no contact be made about making this situation better. I will never be doing business with this company again. Awful customer service. I have reported this instance to The Better Business Bureau. I am sure nothing will come of this. I just hope everyone that reads this will think twice before buying from this store.

After two experiences with poor communication with their delivery services, I would not recommend buying furniture from this company. I’m beyond frustrated that I have wasted another day off with no furniture to show for it. My husband and I have placed three orders with this company. Our first delivery order sent us multiple text messages with a delivery time. They showed up TWO HOURS earlier than their last text message stated and were unwilling to wait for us to arrive home. I had to speak with customer service who stated, “no control over the delivery company as it is a third party” and “can not be held responsible for this.” Today, their delivery window was 10-1pm. It’s now 330pm and they have never arrived. As a customer who has a paying job myself that I took time away from and other appointments I had to cancel for this company to fail to hold their commitments is unacceptable. Do not waste your money. Do not waste your time. I’m beyond speechless that we have spent money at this company to furnish multiple rooms of our home with no respect from this company’s delivery service. The worst part is during our last visit to this store, an employee acknowledged that several customers have expressed this concern and the head of Ashley’s is also aware of this. Im disappointed this clearly has not been handled.

I do not ever write reviews. But I am so frustrated. The Furniture is total junk. They will not help with their junk furniture even within the year if you don’t buy the protection plan. It truly makes no sense, they claim there is a manufacturer warranty for a year. But there is not. They have different departments that put service orders in and then it goes to someone else who nobody can contact directly and that person can just close these orders without any explanation or communication. Do not spend your hard earned money thinking you will get quality furniture from here.

Really wasn't that all impressed with my experience there. The guy that was helping me disappeared multiple times to help other customers when I was literally in the process of setting up payment. He didn't do a whole lot to save me any money either. There was a deal going on for box springs but instead of getting me the deal he charged me for it. The prices were okay.

If I can give 0 stars I would, my sister ordered furniture from this location in January here it is September and still nothing, furniture was paid in full and delivery date keeps getting pushed back, if you could do not shop here they are thieves, and when she calls to ask about her furniture it’s always an excuse about Covid, I’m sorry but that is just not a liable excuse anymore shop at grander white if you knew what’s best.

This has by far been the worst furniture buying experience of my life. I purchased my furniture in mid-January 2022. We were informed that the pandemic has caused significant delays. Alright, I packed my patience and empathy. Here it is nine months later, and still no furniture. I am convinced they are growing the trees that will become my bedroom sets. this is where we draw the line. Do yourself a favor and shop with a company that values you, your time, and money

The Ashley store in Woodhaven Michigan wow is all i can say!! People pay your store for their deliveries and its big bucks 200.00 dollers that's nuts!! They hire companies that can't actually compete the job! Just a word of advice maybe you should pay a little more and hire some people that speak English and can compete the delivers . I canceled my order the delivery because they don't understand how this delivery thing works save yourself the time and headache🤪Just say NO to Ashley!

Absolutely WORST customer service I have experienced in my life. I ordered a couch from Ashley in April, when my couch arrived it was the wrong couch. I told the delivery men and they advised me to take it up with the store. No problem, mistakes happen. After contacting the store, I was told I could use this couch until mine came in. Days go by, weeks, months. I have been calling and waiting for 6 months to receive my CORRECT order. I was told a no later than delivery date of September 21st. After calling they advised me it would be another month before scheduling delivery. Today I spoke with Norma, a customer service representative who basically called me a liar and said there was nothing they could do for me. I spoke with her supervisor Dominique who was rude, short, and said the same. From lying about delivery dates to poor customer service I would strongly recommend using a different furniture store. This is not the place you want to order from if you actually want to receive your purchase. You would be better off getting furniture from Big Lots. (They have great customer service)

My husband and I went into Ashely Furniture in Woodhaven, Mi and ordered a living room set. We were told it would be available for delivery on September 14, 2022. We told the salesperson that we cannot have deliveries during the week so she told us she set it up for Saturday September 17, 2022. No one contacted us regarding delivery. My husband called and was told the furniture is not available yet and it will be a few weeks. He was also told that we cannot have it delivered on a weekend. If we cancel we will be charged 10%. Ridiculous. I guess their salespeople will do or say anything to make a sale. I am also having my daughter's birthday party and now we will not have any furniture for guests to sit on. Thanks. I will never shop here again. Saying I am angry is an understatement.

When I bought the chair I arranged delivery date. I got at least ten calls three and two days prior to delivery date and I confirmed 5 times including through the store. They then cancelled my delivery without telling me. (I had taken day off work to do this) I then had to take another day off. We will see if I get my chair Why call and confirm so many times? Why cancel my delivery? I got no answers

Great service. Update: Received furniture as promised. Delivery crew was professional, cleaned up all packaging materials, and assembled everything with care. Way better delivery experience than another local chain I had recently used that had three letters in it's title and started with a V and ended in F. Would definitely go back to this Woodhaven location first if we need additional items in the future.

Look Ashley's has to have the most terrible service when it comes to furniture. It's hard to believe that they are still in business. I had a terrible experience with trying to get furniture towards the end of covid about a year ago. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the pandemic things were alittle rocky. Fast forward to the present and it's clear that things have not changed. Was told that the bedroom set I wanted was in stock and could get it in 3 weeks.Was told to call in 2 weeks to confirm date and boom it will not be available for another 7-9 weeks possibly, All I can say is WOW !!!!!!!! I would cancel again but my wife really loves this set, but my patience is wearing thin for sure

I couldn't call the store the morning I wrote this review because I would get a message that I need to call during "normal business hours" when it's 10:45am and all their information says they open at 10am. But then when you do call them it just goes to an automated phone bot, so... why couldn't I call them? You don't even have an option to talk to the store (except maybe if you select the "salesperson" option). I think that when I switched customer care it pointed me to corporate, not someone local to the store (but I could be wrong). So, I ordered a rocker recliner that was supposed to deliver in 2 weeks, but every time that I would call during the next 2 months it would perpetually be 2 weeks out. I don't necessarily believe that they lied to me initially (although the experience has left me doubtful). I think it's more that their system was so bad at indicating actually inventory and supply chain estimates. So, at about 2.5 months after my order I decided I might just cancel my order. I spent a good portion of a morning trying to contact them. Eventually I was able to get in touch with corporate customer care and they said that the item arrived at the warehouse.... but then my wife went to pick it up and the warehouse said it had not arrived. So, lots of wasted time on the phone, online chat, and now a trip to a warehouse for no reason. Apparently it was at a different warehouse and was actively in transit. We were able to pick it up 2 days later, but the entire experience was pretty frustrating. Based on my overall experience I'd recommend going to McLaughlin's or some local furniture store rather than a national chain that has an unreliable inventory management system and a truly abysmal communication system.

I have had the same poor experience as the rest of the 1 star reviews. I was told in the store my item would be delivered in 6 weeks. I called at the end of 6 weeks and was then told it would be another 8-10 weeks. I decided to wait for the furnature as i know this is not an uncommon issue at other stores as well. I was able to find the exact same furnature through another furniture retailer and was able to get it within one week. I cancelled my order through ashley and oddly enough it seems to take just as long for them to refund my money as it does to get the furniture. Not to mention they are trying not to refund the full amount they charged me. The store rep lied to get the sale and the company is delaying refunding my money. Great job Ashley!!!!!

After going to many furniture stores, I saw lots of cheap or overpriced furniture or a combination of both. I liked the atmosphere of Ashley’s because I didn’t feel hounded or pressured by salespeople like I was at other stores. Andrew was great to work with and I felt I got a good quality couch at an affordable price.

I came into the store just to browse and left with a sectional. Glenn Willis was great and I would recommend store and sales person. I just wish I could get my couch sooner than a month.

Positives are that the store is nice and clean with plenty of selections , pickup experience was easy, furniture appears to be of good quality only time will tell. Negatives are plentiful however. Ordered furniture that was said to be available within 60 days, that was not even close to true as it was delayed 5 separate times and took over 6 months to get. Sales rep wouldn’t leave us alone in the store to make a decision on our own which was quite annoying. Customer service gave us a different answer every time we called and asked the same questions about pickup. Overall I’m just happy I’m not waiting for my furniture but the delays and lack of clarity as to the situation with the furniture just gave us a bad taste

Fake service!!!! All good until they get your money. They will tell you the furniture is in warehouse when it is not. They will tell you you can pick up at a certain location and it not there. Have called and been on hold for over 30 minutes with customer service to only be told different answers daily. So sad that this furniture store salesman is all over you to make a sale but does not want to discuss his promises. Way to go ask Ashley for poor customer service!!! Won’t be back. Three customer service reps confirmed this was the address to pick our furniture up! After a 30 minute drive to learn the warehouse is closed. 😡

DO NOT purchase anything from Ashley. My bed was NEVER put together correctly. They came out once and said it was fixed. I have a center leg never put on the bed, nuts and bolts keep appearing underneath my bed, and every time we get up or on the bed it creaks as if something is breaking. I have called now for the past 3 weeks asking them come back out and fix, each time they need something else from me. They then tell me a service tech will call me the following day....I have yet to get a call. I have 3 cats and I'm afraid the bed will collapse on one of them. I can't take it apart because then they won't honor the repairs. My bed is less than a year old.

I just purchased a Tempur-pedic mattress! My sales person was Misti Begeman She is fabulous! She explained how the mattress is different from all others. She spent a lot of time helping me decide on the perfect mattress for me! I can’t wait for delivery soon!

The service was great from my salesperson to the manager. I came in wanting a livingroom set that they did not have. My salesperson hunted it down for me so that i could get it. They worked really hard to make sure i was satisfied all the way around.

This has been the worst furniture buying experience of my life! I ordered a bedroom set in October. Got the mattress within two weeks. The bedroom set didn't come until December 30. Came without the hardware. They had to send the hardware in the mail and then once that came, they sent the workers out to put it together. Opened the box and the whole bedframe was cracked down the entire side. Call customer service to do an exchange and they say to call back in two weeks so the system can catch up. Call in two weeks and they say new set will come in May. There is no way I am waiting until May, so I go into the store and pick a different bed set supposed to be delivered by March 20. It's April 7 and still no word from them. I will never purchase another thing from this company again!

Saleswoman lied said furniture would be delivered on March 31st but we never received a call. Went to the store and another Saleswoman said it was to be delivered April 21st and she would have the store manager contact us about trying to move the delivery date up but she never called either guess once they get the money don't need to be nice if not delivered April 21st rating goes to 1 star and lose my business.

I bought a picture that I have been looking at for a long time. I love the picture. The staff worked together to get it off the wall wrapped it completely up and got us out the door. I will be shopping there in the future

In searching for new family room furniture and visiting many furniture stores, we stopped in at Ashley Homestore to view their reclining couches. Brandon welcomed us as we entered the store and offered his help to answer any questions we might have. We found a couch and recliner that we liked and Brandon made sure we got the best deal available. Another Furnishing Specialist, Alison, helped with closing the deal and completing our paperwork. Although we haven't yet scheduled a delivery date, we were very happy with this transaction. Thank you Brandon and Alison for making this purchase a wonderful experience!

Epic Fail. I ordered a 4 Piece sectional in December. Expecting delays. Last week I receive a text notification advising my order was in and to select a delivery date and I would receive a call 48 hours prior to deliver to provide a 3 hr window. I get that call and a voice mail is left to call back for the time. I call back and am told that my order is not ready for delivery. I advised arrangements were made to remove the old furniture and would be without furniture until the order arrives which I am told and additional 2 weeks. The following morning i get another text saying that its in. I call to verify and am told again its not in. I decide to go in store to get the actual details. That same day. The store calls and and wants to schedule delivery. SMH and I explain the series of texts I get and ask if the delivery would be for the day i selected from my original notification. I am told no it would be at least another week. I asked why would i get multiple notifications for delivery if its not ready for delivery? No reasonable answer could be provided. I cant cancel the order. Due to i would have to order from another store and wait an additional 3 to 4 months. So they set me up for the following friday rather than the coming monday and they try to discourage mre from the friday delivery day and mind you the order is not in warehouse. SMH. Dont schedule a delivery day unless it is actually in warehouse and ready for delivery. Dont lie to the customer just to play cate. So i am stuck without furniture in my home for a minimum of a week waiting on verification of an order i was told that was in and ready twice for delivery and they think $150 off my order would satisfy the customer. please. I will not be purchasing/waiting for furniture from Ashley again. All this even after anticipating the delays due to the supply chain. EFF these people

RJ was amazing and helped us out no matter how many questions we had and explained the entire process and stayed with us for the entire time. The whole staff waited after the store close hours just finish our paperwork and helped us out in anyway possible. Would definitely recommend to anyone. And to enjoy the experience as much as possible.

I was told a recliner from a discontinued set could not be sold separately. I never heard that before, so I called customer service and they informed me that wasn't true. They said I could go back to the store and buy the recliner if it was available. I called the store and told them and asked that they hold it. They didn't and the set was sold when I returned. I reached back out to customer service to make it right and they never returned my call or emails. We'll never do business with them again.

Well I ordered 3 end tables in Jan of 2021. Yes that’s over a year ago. I was told 4-6 weeks. I waited about 4 weeks and then sold mine waiting on my new arrival. 4-6 weeks came and gone, then I called 4-6 weeks came and gone again. Every time I called, 4 to 6 weeks. So Oct I finally went in the store to cancel my order. Go figure one week later my order is ready to ship. Delivery 1-5 time frame. Think it showed at 9:30 at night. I open them next day, not even knowing I had to assemble everything there was one smashed corner. I had to send pictures in and they wanted to send a repairman out. After I told them you can’t repair particleboard they agreed to replace it. It’s been on back order since. It’s now Feb, I called and asked for refund for the one table. They told me it doesn’t work like that, all sales are final. I also called the number they leave in reviews and they told me they would review my order and get back with me. Never heard from them again. Needless to say never again. I have a cardboard box collecting dust full of table pieces to show for it. Thank you Ashley

I've never waited so long to spend my money. Picked out a bed told the sales person. It took almost an hour to pay. At this time I have no idea where I'm supposed to pick it up. Hopefully they'll call next month when it arrives. Update: Finally received the furniture. The 6 weeks turned into nearly 9. The low quality book case bed was damaged with chipped particle board and partially separated panels. It's difficult to believe this garbage is even allowed to be sold. There is no way that the drawers will remain functional if actually used. The cheesey construction will not hold. This furniture could not sustain newlywed activities. I 've learned my lesson. NEVER buy cheap imported furniture. The warehouse pickup took nearly an hour despite I was the only person waiting. I do appreciate the manager responding to poor rating but I'm not interested in waiting months for replacement garbage. I glue screwed and re supported much of this unit. Hopefully it can make it a few years.

Beyond irritated with this place. In September I ordered a sofa and a chair, and was told it would take around 4 months. They arrived December 18th and we realized the chair was the wrong color. The delivery drivers tell us that someone will contact us soon to get the right one and when they bring us the new one they will also pick up the wrong one. We wait a week, no one contacts us like they said so we reach out to customer service and explain the situation. They say “okay no problem, we’ll send you a text to pick a delivery day”. We pick Friday, January 21st. Friday rolls around and I get another text saying now it will be delivered Tuesday, January 25th. Not the day we picked, but okay we’ll make it work. The time slot was from 2:15-5:15. I wait until 5:30 and then I have to leave to go to work (mind you I’m already late for work at this point). At 6:30 they finally show up and I can see on my cameras that the delivery driver is looking through my windows and trying to open my front door! My boyfriend calls the delivery driver and he tells my boyfriend that he called me and that I told him it was okay they came late. No one called me until they were already at my house. I then call customer service again today and now they’re telling me that my chair isn’t in the warehouse until February 1st. How? when it was apparently on the truck yesterday?? Definitely would not purchase furniture here again.

I went to this establishment to by a couch and was pleasantly surprised at the high quality selection of furniture that was available. Upon entering the store it felt a mechanical because the person that greets you is feeding information into an earpiece to the next person walk you through the store. The person that helped us was Brandon. Great personally. Informative. Sounds like T Pain the rapper. I definitely would recommended this place to anyone looking to buy quality furniture for a fair price.

Went looking for a TV stand we seen online but they didn't have it in store. Met KJ at the front of the store (employee) he was really cool not pushy and just offered to help if we needed him. I decided to go ask about the TV stand and see how long it would be to perhaps order online.....it's only around 12-16 weeks but even better than that he told us it was $200 cheaper! Now that made it worth shopping at Ashley's....you just gained a future customer!

Great service at Westland store. I have had many visits. I would recommend Ashley and especially Westland store. They are amazing and would appreciate your time you spent with them. I worked with an associate who addressed our issue and would go out of her ways to help me. No doubt in giving 5 stars.

Great Customer Service They were very Customer friendly and customer focused. Listened as I described what I wanted to purchase. Provided Interior decorating suggestions that fit in with my current decor. They were very patient, courteous, and helpful. I found what I was looking for and more; I purchased my new furniture with a smile on my face. 😃

I enjoyed my shopping experience today. The staff was much better than the service I received about 2 years ago. I was ready to write Ashley off but decided to give it one more try. I must say I'm glad I did, because they redeemed themselves. I arrived, I said what I was looking for, and that's exactly what I received. I'm looking forward to returning to the store for a future purchase.

Happy Ashley furniture store is open. Salesman was low pressure. Order bed and frame just disappointed I have to wait so long to get it.

I ordered a dining room set back in June. I’m now on my 4th delivery and still don’t have what I ordered due to it coming damaged. I now don’t have enough room for my family at Christmas and they will not refund my money

The store and Salespeople were fantastic. That's the last good thing I'll have to say. We just ordered a bedroom set. The quality was so poor, not 1 piece made it into the bedroom intact. One if the Dressers was so bad they didn't even take it off the truck. Bashed dented and scratched, holes in the bottom of drawers (which they tried to hide), bearings rolling across the floor because the slides on the drawers were falling apart. Unbelievable bad. And once you sign your stuck with it. Do not let them set 1 foot in your house until you have inspected it. once it comes inside they will not take it back. No return policy. You've been warned. It will not be the same quality as the showroom piece.

Individual workers are pleasant to work with but the customer service (CS) is absolute trash. Had to cancel a product because of covid delays, the first CS person told me I was never charged so no refund to be issued. This was false, so when I called back the second CS person said 48 hrs to refund. Called back day 3 and was told by the third CS person a refund ticket was never processed. "You will get confirmation of refund intent in 48 hrs." Call again 72 hrs later because no refund or confirmation. 4th CS person tells me it should be processed and I just have to wait 3-5 business days. I ask her for a direct confirmation email and I was told she can't. I have no confirmation and no refund yet. We'll see how this goes, but if you can't get your product right away DO NOT buy from here.

These people are really nice and helpful until they get your money. I've had 3 delivery attempts now. 1st was damaged, 2nd was canceled for no reason and the 3rd was a drop off of another damaged bed frame. They refuse to help. Customer service says to call the store and the store won't return calls. Nothing but problems.

Buying the recliner we took home with us was one is f the best shopping experiences I have had in recent memory. Our salesman was knowledgeable and worked very hard to make the sale. We kept running into obstacles, one of which was availability. The recliner we decided on was not available for over 6 months, so he sold me the floor model at an unbelievably low price. It was a price I couldn’t pass up! The customer service I received was outstanding, and did the mention he was very nice. I will highly recommend Ashley Homestore to my family and friends, just a great shopping experience at a time when I really needed one!
