I went to the Ashley store in Austin to buy my first mattress. Kipp provided a sales environment that was informative, sincere, and low-pressure. I will be going back to make future purchases from Kipp.

My boyfriend and I walked in to look at mattresses; we've never bought a new bed together and had no clue where to start. Kipp was extremely helpful right off the bat. He took his time to understand us and dialed in exactly what we wanted. It took a ton of work off of us to figure out what we could decide on as we have very different preferences. Kipp had us sold on a bed in no time at all and we felt confident we were making the right decision.

I would rather give zero stars. After entering the store we wandered around 5-7 minutes before yelling out "anyone here?". A salesman named Kipp stopped on his way by to ask what we were looking for. We told him an adjustable bed and he told us where they were at and would meet us there. He showed us what we were looking for and gave us a price. When I told him that we had gotten a much cheaper price at a different store he told us to go there then! Very rude with a big attitude. I know there were adjustable beds at a cheaper price range in that store other than what he was trying to sell because I has researched the website before going in there. No wonder there was only one car in the parking lot, probably his.. I won't ever go into that store again as there are many more furniture stores everywhere.

As long as Kipp is working here, do not get a job there unless you like being belittled. Kipp can make sales but he is arrogant, egotistical, puts himself above everyone else and he steals sales from other salesmen. The commission is terrible in a town like Austin and is a store that can only have two people working there. The traffic is too slow on its bad days, & on the good days Kipp will run around like a chicken with its head cut off stealing your customers. He will embarrass and belittle you in front of customers. This is not a place I would work at everyday as long as Kipp is there. He will make you feel stupid. It takes 6 months to get good at something new, and he will act as if you’re supposed to know everything. He may say he is not a pushy salesmen, but he is. This man needs to be humbled and does not deserve a management position. He will take credit for all the work that everyone else does. You can tell him how he is acting and he is so oblivious to his personality that he does not care, and will not apologize, he will just keep making you (a new employee) like a little child who doesn’t listen. I do not suggest working for that little man. After 90 days you go from working 20 an hour to 100% commission. If you don’t make roughly 50,000$ in sales that month you will make less than their 15.50 base pay rate and will start getting yourself into a deficit, once you go 2,000 in deficit you are fired. 40 hours a week is the minimum. Even if he gives you the okay to leave at 6 to do school instead of 7 he will contact HR like a sibling who just set you up to get in trouble with your parent. I hope this guy loses everything, so it humbles him. He does not know how to treat people.

My husband and I went in after visiting a few other stores in town. Kipp was the only associate in the store. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked what we were looking for. We told him what we had in mind and he immediately knew what items to show us. He gave us some options and gave us some space to discuss and try them out. He came back often between helping others. He was literally running to help. Not once did he make us feel rushed or did he try to upsale. He worked with us in getting financing and making sure we knew about all the deals. I always have such anxiety about shopping for furniture and Kipp made this such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this store and working with Kipp. I will return for any other furniture needs.

Terrible service! Had to fix the price, Bill was written up wrong. Then they sent the wrong box spring, had to wait another week! Very messy service!

Will never shop at the Austin location again. Judgemental attitude for not buying the whole set from them and then told the wrong delivery date by a salesperson who we discovered couldn't even listen well enough to put the properly spelled last name on the receipt.

Great experience from first look to delivery!

My husband and I went into the store to look at sectionals, which the store had quite a few of them. We really didn't know what we wanted for a sectional but Kipp showed us all of them, from reclining to chaise. He was so patient and kind. After we decided on what sectional we wanted to purchase I mentioned that I needed a new bed. Kipp showed us all the beds from traditional to new technology (Tempra-pedic). What an experience, we didn't know about the new technology. Kipp was so knowledgeable about these beds, amazing. We tried all the beds to see what we would be interested in and decided on the Tempra-pedic with the adjustable base. I was leery about getting it because of the expense and if I could get a good nights sleep on it. Kipp reassured me that I should take at least a month to sleep on it and see if I like it. If it didn't work out, I could get a different mattress. It was a win, win. When Matt and his crew delivered the sectional and bed, they were awesome. They set everything up as I wanted and took our old mattress and box spring. Ashley Furniture definitely knows about customer service. This whole experience has been a joy.

I had my heart set on 5-piece sectional, but the website said it still wasn't available. Hoping the website was incorrect, I contacted the store manager who patiently answered all of my silly questions, and not only found me the exact sofa I wanted, but he took care of everything!! My experience with Kipp at the Austin store was handled with such professionalism and ease that we just contacted him again to purchase another set for our upstairs living area. Again, perfect experience with Kipp, and our set is already scheduled for delivery. Exceptional customer service, response time and follow up. I went to Ashley furnature today we were all set to buy a mattress from them,until I saw 3 employees in there that weren't wearing a mask. They didn't even care that they were putting all their customers at risk. Ua did I mention mn one of the employee's was the manager. I called the health department and made a complaint...

Our sales person Kip did an awesome job helping us select the correct mattress. We initially went in to just purchase a mattress for the Master bedroom but after realizing how comfortable the new technology is to sleep on, we purchased a new mattress and box spring for the Master as well as the guest room. With their great finance options we also decided to buy a new bed frame with headboard and footboard and 2 new nightstands as well. He was very diligent in tracking our order and keeping us posted as to when it would arrive. It actually arrived a little earlier than expected they offered us white glove delivery service which is worth every penny. The delivery people came in set up all of our new furniture as well as hauling the old stuff away we couldn’t be more pleased with the product we purchased and the service we got from start to finish.Thank you so much you will get our return business.
