He paid close attention to our many needs, took extra concern when helping us with our elderly parents and even came in on his day off to help us finalize our purchase. He spent not one, not 2 but 3 days helping us find just what we needed and was super patient with us. He had many out of the box ideas and found exactly what was going to work for our new home! Recently, we were at Ashley Furniture to make another purchase. We were greeted by Courtney soon after walking in the door. We explained to her that we had a warranty voucher for our purchase. Evidently the voucher had expired. Courtney immediately got on the phone and had the warranty issue resolved. She then showed us different selections of furniture that would fit our needs and answered all of our questions fully. This is our third purchase from Ashley since moving to the Brainerd Lakes area a little over two years ago. We have received nothing but excellent service from the time we’ve walked through your doors, through delivery and after the sale customer service. Thank you Courtney and the entire Ashley team!

If I could offer a negative 5 I would! In March 2025 we bought a lift chair for my 85 yo MIL. In May the motor went out. It took 2 wks to get a guy out to look at it, a wk to order the part under the manufacturing warranty and 6 wks for the part to come in. Unfortunately they offered to repair the day after my MIL was moving into assisted living in July so we had to wait another month to get on the schedule for her new location. I received a call on the day they were scheduled to come out informing me they can’t find the part and they will try to get a new motor from their stock. Why on earth didn’t they do this in the first place and restock the part with the one on order? Here we are in August and the chair is still not fixed. Ashley doesn’t stand by their product. I asked for a chair replacement and they said no. This is EXTREMELY frustrating and shameful to make an elderly person wait months to repair. Needles to say, they will be losing a customer over this!

After we decided on the love seat with a middle console, Lynne rang us up quickly and efficiently. She suggested stain plus coverage, but didn't push. Our love seat will be delivered in one week on a day and time that is convenient for us. Ashley furniture is in partnership with is an absolute scam! over 2100 customer reviews for Gardian Protection Products It has a 1.1 star rating with Consumer Affairs, every one saying the same thing, that their claim was rejected after a tech was sent out to home. Gardian replied to each complaint with a automated message, telling people to PM them. No claims resolved. I think anyone who's has been burned by this company should begin to file a class action lawsuit! Why pay for insurance just to be robbed when you try to make a legitimate claim. Perhaps Ashley should pay as well considering they push this company on it's customers.

I have bought many things from this store but after today I'm done. I bought the warranty with my furniture and all I wanted was a number to call to put in a claim. This lady that answered wouldn't do that. She kept telling me what my warranty will cover my issue. I told her I just need a number or a copy of my receipt for the claim. She went on saying we don't give out paperwork which I know is false since I had to do it before with something else. I will go somewhere else from now on. I've never had anyone so rude there before and still can't believe she wouldn't give me a number

We came into Ashley looking for a cheap sofa we saw online, but then fell in love with another sofa. Our Home Furnishings Consultant, Carrie Wenzel was awesome! She was very friendly, helped answer our questions, and accommodating. She even hooked us up with a $100 off coupon. And helped us with financing our furniture. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

We bought a new bed with an adjustable base and we thought we had a 90 day return policy but that only covered the mattress not the head and foot lift. (The lift is a seven day return policy)So we are stuck with a lift we hate for about 9 hundred dollars we are needless To say very disappointed in our purchase from this store and won't be return customers here. We had even thought about replacing our living room furniture but will look elsewhere for all that. Good luck Ashley.

Honestly, not a very great experience. The lady was nice. However, they did not tell me what I had bought would be the display item. When delivered the foot board was broken and screws were falling out. I called and they said they would replace the footboard. Lady said they would “fix it”. I said I thought it would have been new. I don’t want it to get fixed. Obviously I’m spending money on these items it should be new. “She said yes it would be new in the box.”it was in a box made for a mirror.. Upon receiving the new items, it did not come in the right box; it was taped in a different box-not the original box a bed frame supposed to be in. I said I would assemble. However, they didn’t give any instructions or manual on how to assemble the bed itself. I called and they honestly do not seem to know anything there. Also, the dresser I had bought; the handle was broken off. Most likely will not be going back. Employees are not very helpful nor very knowledgeable. They shouldn’t say things that they don’t even know what they’re talking about.

We had bought a wonderful sectional on a Friday from the Baxter MN location. Got it home and set up and all was great....until..... it set off a previous hip injury I had! We tried different things as I wanted so much to love it, but the couch lost the battle. On Sunday, frantic that we just bought a giant weight to hold our carpet down, we went back to the store and ran into Courtney Leabch, who happens to be the manager. Thank goodness for her. She explained everything to us and since it was in the seven day window for returns, there was no problem! She then worked with us for over an hour to make sure we got just what we were looking for. She really took the time and listened to us on what we needed. Really the best furniture shopping experience we have ever had. Thank you Courtney!!

Went to finance a couch to help build credit. Wasn’t able to get an in-store credit card, but the person who helped me, Clay Smith, helped me figure out a way to not only finance said couch, but also helped me find a way to build my credit without the need for a store specific credit card or a standard credit card. I asked repeatedly after purchasing furniture from here if they were sure my furniture could be delivered on a Sunday. They said yes! It's called a (Manager Delivery) not one but 3 employees said yes. 2 Jacob's and a Courtney. I kept asking to make sure and they assured me it would be delivered. Guess what? Nope, that's not a thing and they don't know why someone told us that. I asked for a refund. I can't do business with people who make a sale by lying to you. Wasted our day waiting for them. Poor business skills and horrible customer service.

Courtney was great and the Ashley platinum warranty can't be bear. If you don't use it they give you in store credit for the full purchase price, so you are covered if you need it and get a little gift for yourself if you don't. Courtney was helpful without being pushy. She helped us locate options based on our preferences and helped us get the furniture delivered asap. This is the experience I was hoping to have at all other stores but they all fell short with the exception of Ashley and Bob's Furniture. A+ experience. We will be back again for sure.

My wife and I already purchased a dining set from this store earlier this year, and next up was furnishing our family room. As soon as we walked in the door, Courtney greeted us right away and asked how she could help. We knew what line we were looking for and asked if she pieces were in the store. She said that they were and walked us right over to the pieces we were interested in. She gave us information on pricing and availability. We let her know we were going to do more looking around the store, as we were in the market for rugs and artwork. She said to let her know if we needed help with anything, and she still checked on us as we looked around. She also helped us in finding chairs with custom fabric that we were interested in. We had to go home and measure and figure out how things were going to fit. We came back to see Courtney a few days later and she set up our orders for delivery! Courtney was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable about all of the items we were interested in! We are looking forward to our new furniture and highly recommend you pay a visit and see Courtney!

We bought a couch, loveseat, table, and 6 chairs for our new home. We were also planning a wedding for ourselves, and helping 3 different family members move. Very busy. When we finally open our last box, a chair that we hadn’t needed, there is a crack in the chair! Unsafe. The store would not exchange it as defective and the $300 we spent on warranty wouldn’t cover it. We planned on buying a lot more furniture for our new home but now will NOT go here. Buyer beware!

Jerry Olson helped us pick out a reclining love seat and an ottoman today. The service we received from him is the definition of above and beyond. Once we picked out our love seat, we went looking all over the store for an ottoman. When I wasn't sure about whether they would match well enough together, he carried the ottoman all the way across the store so we could see it next to the love seat. He was not pushy and he gave us the space we needed to look around, occasionally checking back in with us to see if we needed anything. I hope that Ashley HomeStore knows what a valuable employee they have.

I went to the Shakopee store with my brother who was buying a sofa. He found the one he wanted and the sales girl wrote up the order with the tag on the sofa. A week later the wrong sofa was delivered to his apartment. We went back to the store and explained the wrong sofa was delivered and was told we made the error. The original sofa was now gone and they could not replace it. It took 2 weeks to have the wrong sofa picked up and another 10 days for his account to be credited. I went into the store in Brainerd to see if anyone could assist and was told they were too busy to help, they had paying customers to help. I need new furniture but will not be shopping here.

I purchased a Mattress and frame from this Baxter Store. We set up delivery, paid some cash and financed part of it. A couple days later received a call from Amy the manager that they sold the mattress for the wrong price. They called to tell us we owed them $800.00 more and the delivery has been stopped til we pay. If we wanted to finance it we had to drive back to the store to sign which is almost an hour away. They did nothing to make this right or offer anything for their mistake. The pricing was on their end and the sale was complete. We told them to cancel and we will go elsewhere. We wont even be refunded for the cash amount we paid for 10 business days. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to the Fargo Store which had nothing to do with this sale and explained what happened they helped us out by giving us a discount and a few extras for the inconvenience the Baxter Store caused. Baxter Ashley Home Store was a.horrible experience!!!

We had Jerry help us, we’ve bought all our furniture at Ashley so we frequent the store. He’s a new worker and everyone he asked to help him along the way actually helped him which was great for us, because he wasn’t guessing. Also no one else walked up or acknowledged us expect him. I just had a little free time and saw Ashley Furniture in the Westgate Mall in Baxter, so stopped in as we had been discussing a new couch for our RV. I looked around for about 10 minutes then was approached by Sam Shirley with a wonderful introduction. He was very pleasant and asked general questions about what I may be looking for. I had a laundry list of requirements, and he listened carefully and lead me to what ended up being our final purchase. Later that day, I brought my wife with to let her see the choices. Sam was busy at the time, but acknowledged us. When he was done he touched base and then went about his tasks. When we were ready, he was there and answered all the questions she had. Time for paperwork. I can't commend Sam enough for his professionalism and how he was able to read his customers' preferences. I have no tolerance for high pressure sales or weird sales tactics. If I see them I am GONE. Very happy I didn't even have an inkling of that. Would buy again if the need arises.

Sales at the Baxter store was great Delivery was terrible. They gave us a 9-12 timeframe then the day before the delivery they switched it to a 1-4 pm timeframe. We had other appointments in the afternoon that made this last minute switch a very big problem. Nothing like wrecking an entire day for us.

The sales rep who was at the store was irritating. He was friendly but clearly desperate to sell furniture. We told him that we were in the mall so we decided to just stop in and browse around the store. We had no intentions of buying, we were just looking. When we said we were just looking it felt as if he disregarded what we said and just continued to talk about buying furniture. The sales rep talked to us like we were born yesterday. He kept saying prices are going up and soon there will not be as much furniture in the store. It was all just a bunch of generic slogans that they try to use to get you to buy stuff. As we were leaving the store he came back over and tried again to persuade us into buying furniture. Then he proceeds to tell us that we look nervous or uncomfortable...really? He talked to us like we were children, all we wanted was for him to leave us alone and let us look around. We were clearly disinterested in speaking with him, I don't know how more obvious we could have been. We will not be going to this particular store again.

I have shopped at the Baxter location before, I didn't have anything bad or great to say about it until today. My experience with Ashley and Heath was above and beyond any I have experienced before at a furniture store. I wasn't pressured into something that I didn't like or couldn't afford, I was even shown the discounted items to ensure I had the full selection of options for my needs. When I found something, both Heath and Ashley provided me with the best customer service even beyond their job description, which was/is so appreciated. If you need furniture, go to Ashley and ask for one of them, you will leave a happy customer. I got a killer deal, so that's a plus too.

Didn't buy furniture today since I'm just looking right now; however, very friendly and helpful service from Courtney Leabch. When I decide to buy. I'll definitely keep Ashley Home Store on the radar.

This was our first trip to Ashley/ Furniture Mart. We were so blessed to have Katie help us. She was super knowledgeable as well as just a fun sales person. Sam attacked us as soon as we entered the store. My boyfriend tried telling him that he had already been dealing with a different sales associate but Sam ignored him and brought us back to look at 1 bed. We asked to check out others and Sam said he is specially trained to know what will work best for people. We knew he's just trying to make a sale and we liked the bed, so we let it go. We were only there for a chair and a mattress and Sam wasted so much of our time trying to upsell us. We were on the verge of saying screw it but we stayed and completed our purchase with him. We were given a delivery date and on our way an hour later than we had to be if Sam wasn't trying to feed us BS the whole time. The morning of the scheduled delivery, Sam called and rattled on for over 15 minutes making up excuses on how and why he didn't actually schedule our delivery but now it would be scheduled for 2 days later. They are unable to give you an approximate time so we rearranged our personal schedules and took time off of work to be home for the delivery. The 2nd delivery date has come and I called the delivery number to confirm and they said there was no delivery scheduled for our items but not to worry they'vealreadybeen paid and don't mind playingthis game indefinitely. They will email Sam and let him know that I'll be calling to set up delivery. I told them no, Sam is worthless obviously, I am not going out of my way again when this was already supposed to be done twice now, I'm just going to set up delivery right now. Lady said ok, we'll bring your stuff now next week on Friday OR Saturday. So now that's 2 more days we have to just sit home waiting and a whole week we have to sleep on the floor because we tossed our mattress this morning because we were promised our new one would be delivered today. Will never buy anything from these creeps again and I'd suggest anyone who goes in the store to run away if Sam approaches you.

I wandered into the store looking for comfortable dining room chairs and was warmly greeted by Heath (LOVE that accent!). He patiently measured the chairs with me and I took a few photos to show my hubby. We ended up purchasing the Antique Cherry dining SET with the help of Ashley and Courtney. Our entire experience was very customer friendly/helpful, even down to Randy chiming in on some tv trivia about Angie Dickinson. I hope this nice addition to the WestGate Mall will remain an anchor for many years to come.

I ordered a very large couch at the beginning of August I didn't get the couch until the middle of October. When it was delivered there were a few things that were wrong with the couch. I had the delivery guy note that in the paperwork. I have been promised multiple times that these problems were going to be taken care of but yet these problems still are persistent and not dealt with at this current moment. The lack of care and courtesies that I've experienced has been very frustrating. Being promised that I'll have a call return to me by said date and they will never call you back. This post will not change until the issue is resolved and I am satisfied with my experience with Ashley Furniture store. The customer service in the store has been very pleasant aside from dealing with bad product.i do not feel that I got what I payed for.

In September we shopped around all of the local furniture stores looking for a new couch and found one we really like at Slumberland but they would not have it in stock until November. We then went to Ashley and found a couch that we liked, although we did not like it as much as the one from Slumberland and it was more expensive- the sales lady told us we could get it in October. We decided to go with the one that we liked less, for more money so that we could get it earlier. What a mistake. Early October came and we got a call that it was pushed out now until November. November came and we still had not heard anything so I attempted to call, but of course it just beeps and the call drops. So I went to their online messaging service to try and get some answers, and they just told me I would have to work with the local office. So then, we get a voicemail that our order was again pushed to December. I completely understand that due to the circumstances we are in right now that items have delayed shipping- but we were guaranteed that our couch would be here in October, it is the ONLY reason we chose that one. Now, it's the middle of December and we again have not heard anything. I've been attempting to call, but of course no one will answer. Lesson learned. UPDATE: 12.28.2020- I sent Ashley an email two weeks ago like they asked and never heard back from them. It appears as though they reply to a negative review to seem as though they care to correct the issues, but they do not. We also got a call a week ago that our couch has AGAIN been pushed back and will hopefully be delivered in March. The voicemail that was left was rude and unapologetic about the delay.

It was terrible absolutely 💯 no one ever came to help me they were all sitting behind the desk and I was ready to buy over $4,000 in furniture thier customer service sucks

I bought a table back in the middle of June. I understood I would have to wait until the first week in August to get it. Last week we got a phone call saying our table was at the store and ready to be picked up. So we went there two days after we received the phone call and they told us the table wasnt there and that it was in South Dakota. We were super upset about it and they said it would be there the 10th of August. So we get a phone call yesterday (the 10th) saying our table was there and ready to be picked up. My boyfriend got there and it was still on the truck so we couldn't even pick it up. One of the workers said they would deliver it to our house the next day. They never showed up with our table. This whole experience just to pick up our table has been very disappointing. We are not impressed at all.

I walked in, found a mattress that I needed and checked out in 10 minutes. The customer service was great! Thank you!

If your looking for furniture Ashley Is your place! If your looking for a salesman that won’t hound, harass or follow you around like a puppy dog ask for Burrell. This guy will pull out all the stops to make you feel like your the only customer in the store! My experience with him was a 10/10! I came in on a Monday let him know we were buying a home, he walked around with a note pad and wrote everything down we were looking for, for our home. I had let him know that I would be back in 2 days to finalize everything. What did he do for us, he saved that paperwork. He never once doubted that we wouldn’t be back! When we came back 2 days later he was there with that said note pad and we were ready to rock and roll! If your looking for honest, open no holds salesman look up Burrell Flanagan! He will do everything in his power to make your home furnishing come true!

Gina who works there was amazing to work with she was helpful, funny and never pushed anything on us, but let us now all of the deals going on. I wasn't planning on buying anything but she helped us find a perfect couch for us and even went the extra mile to help us get extra pillows. Loved the atmosphere and affordable prices.

My first experience at the new Ashley Furniture Store was amazing. Burrell was extremely helpful and did everything possible to help me find the perfect mattress. If you shop at Ashley make sure you ask for Burrell!

Be careful when going to shop at this store. We spent close to two hours shopping on Sunday, June 7, 2020. We were quoted a price for a full bedroom suite. We discussed in detail what was included and were given a quote. This was going to be my daughters first big purchase after college. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to spend the money and after a solid hour plus of discussing the price and working to get the financing, She decided to make the purchase. Then when the paperwork was being worked up on the computer, we were given a different price. The manager, Katie, left for the day and they wouldn’t honor the price. Seems the sales person that originally quoted mis-quoted and missed a dresser. After spending over two hours there, so much of our time on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and my daughter getting so excited for this major purchase, the price was now significantly higher. So we left. Today Katie (the manager) called to confirm with us that she in fact would not honor the quoted price. Such a sad experience and so disappointed in their lack of customer experience focus. We heard over and over again from the sales person and the manager that “This is a business and we need to make money. We don’t give things away”. They need to train the sales people to properly quote, never tell a customer that this is a business that needs to make money ( of course we know that but you also need customers) and the manager needs training on customer satisfaction. More importantly they really need to honor their quotes. It wasn’t like this was a simple mistake. We talked about the price and had it in writing. She was debating about another cheaper set and so this set was already a stretch on her budget but she decided to go for it because she really loved it. Her excitement was squashed.
