My husband and I wanted to purchase the buffet that went matched our dining room set. Alyssa was awesome to work with. She found the buffet and she made it so easy. It was delivered today. The 2 men that delivered were very nice and put it in place for us and made sure everything was good before they left. They removed their shoes at the door and I appreciated that. Just an awesome purchase!

My husband and I recently purchased a patio set from Alyssa and Tanner. They were so helpful and got us the best price and delivery, and the delivery guys were amazing and got our furniture set up perfectly. Not only is Alyssa and Tanner very nice, the rest of the staff are so kind and always smiling, acknowledge your presence and say hi to you and ask you how you are doing. If you are looking to purchase furniture, you won’t be disappointed buying from here.

He explained each beds features until I found the perfect fit. My delivery arrived the next day and everything was set up for me. I have slept so good I wish I had gone there sooner! My husband and I had a great experience working with Tanner at Ashley Furniture in Elk River. We found a leather sectional we loved, but we both wanted to shop around before we pulled the trigger. We went to multiple other furniture stores, always keeping this sectional in the back of our minds. Tanner was extremely helpful through the entire process- answering any questions we had, getting us measurements, giving us space and time to make sure this was 'the one'- We never felt rushed or pressured to buy. After a few weeks of shopping around, we came back to Ashley to purchase our sectional. Tanner, again, was so helpful- setting us up with delivery and giving us care instructions to help keep our leather looking great down the road. It was a big purchase for us, but Tanner and Ashley Furniture made it a breeze. We will definitely be back.

Paul was amazing! Zero pressure, but he was on-the-spot if I had questions. He actually talked me out of a furniture set I thought was just OK and into another one based on my needs and, my goodness, this guy is good, because he found the perfect set for us. I’m the sort of person who hates being “sold” and equally find sales personnel sometimes to be out to sell a ketchup popsicle to a person in white gloves, but Paul was NOT that way ever. I would buy from him and Furniture Mart all day long, and I’ve been everywhere.

Service was good! Quality of the products is unpredictable. Sometimes garbage, sometimes durable. Just bought a couch today, so we will see about this specific item soon.

The staff at the Elk River,MN location were fantastic. Down side is that an end table we purchased was damaged. So were the 2 replacements. Disappointing that we were not offered a discount for our troubles. We did not trust a 4th replacement so we took the one that was on the showroom floor at full price.

After having a horrible experience at a different furniture company I went right back to shopping at Furniture Mart where I had always had success! Tanner was awesome at helping me pick out exactly what I wanted. He is extremely knowledgeable about the inventory and has helped me pick out two couches. My 10 year old that I was shopping with said "Wow that Tanner guy really knows these couches." The delivery was smooth they sent me text messages alerts to let me know they would be coming and the drivers were professional and efficient at getting everything in my garage. I will definitely be going back to Tanner at Furniture Mart again!! 5 stars! Absolutely love our new couch!!!

Terrible business practice. This location is a franchise so anything they tell you is useless at any other Ashley store. They’ll sell you a “protection” plan which is supposedly redeemable as in-store credit if it’s unused after 5 years. However, after that 5 YEAR wait - you have just 6mo before they pull the rug out.

Kim the associate was invaluable with my search for a living room set. Me and my daughter were there for almost 4 hours. We had two rooms that we were shopping for. Taking in consideration of the use for each room which textile would work best. Kim was so invaluable with her experience and her knowledge of the brand and the material. She made something so frustrating become manageable. She really gave you your time and she was not pushy as we all dread with typical sales people. Ashley furniture please take you have a true GEM with Kim. She adds value to your brand.

This was our first time in the Elk River location and had a wonderful experience! We worked with Nick in the mattress department and he was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly to work with. If I could give this company/location negative stars I would. Our sales guy Blake sold us on a couch in November and we were told 4 weeks until delivery. 6 weeks later we called to find out where the couch was and it was just sitting at the Fridley location. I ended up having to rent a trailer and go and get it myself. Got the couch home and it was missing several parts. Ashley sent out the wrong replacement parts 3 times. So they were going to replace the couch. I called them today to find out my replacement couch is sitting at the Fridley location for a month. No one has called me or anything. They asked me to go get it AGAIN!!! I was offered a $200 refund. I find that to be a kick to the face as I have now been without a couch for 5 months because of their continuous mess ups. This will be the last time I buy anything from Ashley Furniture. The customer service is awful and I feel disrespected as a customer.

Great selection, good prices and fantastic staff - very knowledgeable and friendly. Gave us space to look around but checked in regularly to answer our questions. When we narrowed our sofa down to 2 - we didn’t feel pressured to buy the higher priced item. Alyssa explained the similarities and differences in our choices and when we chose the less expensive sofa, she was enthusiastic - she wanted us to be satisfied. Highly recommend!

Best experience we've ever had at a furniture retailer. I used to look at furniture stores like car dealerships: suspicious, shifty and over priced. Either the sales rep was too pushy trying to sell the most expensive piece of furniture they could find OR completely lost interest in our business when realizing we were looking for budget items. This experience completely changed my perspective and I have Tanner to thank for the amazing dedication and detail. This is sales done right. He answered all, and I mean ALL our questions, showed us everything single piece of furniture we wanted to see, and acknowledged not just our needs and comfort but included our kids I'm the process. He was more concerned with us getting value and making sure we were happy with our purchase than the sale. People say you should have an insurance person, a banker and a realtor, well Tanner is my furniture guy from here on out... If he so happens to become a car salesman, he'd my car guy

Eric was our salesman at the FurnitureMart in Elk River. He was phenomenal. My husband and I came in shopping for living room furniture. He saw us come in and greeted us very professionally. We informed him we knew what we were looking for and didn't need any assistance at the moment. He let us know where we could find him if we had any questions and allowed us to shop on our own. WE LOVED THIS APPROACH. This allowed us to take our time, look around, try different furniture and when we finally found the right set that suited us we went and found him. He was extremely helpful and this approach landed him this sale. We have literally walked out of furniture stores because of constant hounding by the salesman. More salesmen need to learn to follow this approach. We will certainly be back and hope Eric is our salesman again!

We shopped around and covered our basis at pretty much every furniture store in a 40 mile radius and ended up right back at Ashley. None of the other stores had inventory quality or selection remotely close to what they have at Ashley. The level of customer service does not even compare at any other store than the service we received from Eric Eck at Ashley. He made sure we found exactly what we wanted and was helpful every step of the way. Shop Ashley first, before anywhere else and you’ll save time and money.

My husband and I bought a couch set when we purchased a new home 3 years ago. The couches or the cushions, have been nothing but problematic. Basically our cushions don’t stay on the couch, they slide when you sit on them, the decorative stitching has come loose and needs to be cut off, the back cushions have thinned out and have been warped and the back cushions no longer fit well on the couch. We have contacted Ashley furniture several times to get replacements or get them fixed and they have not been helpful. They have told me I need to purchase new cushions when I was told it was all under my warranty and the guardian plan. They also said I’d have to pay for someone to come out and fix the stitching and restful the cushions which again I was told at the time of purchase that it was covered. I know I should have left a review sooner than 3 years but its to the point where we can enjoy our expensive couches.

I have had the best experience ever dialing with the Ashley Home Store in Elk River, MN. I purchased a sofa in December of 2021 and also purchased the protection plan that they offer for their products. The day after my delivery, I accidentally damaged the sofa. I contacted the protection plan people and they processed my claim and replaced the item. When I worked with the store manager, Andrew and the asst manager, Tanner, they were both extremely easy to work with and went the distance to help me and make sure the whole process was seamless! I would recommend this store to any and all of my friends. They are honest and extremely ethical in their business practices. Thank you guys for a wonderful and very easy experience!

Finding and buying a new mattress is not one of my favorite things to do, but Tanner made the experience a good one. He explained the differences between each type of mattress and gave us plenty of time to try out each one. He was very patient and never pressured us to hurry up and make a decision. Once we decided to go with the hybrid mattress he showed us the different types of bases. We chose the Tempurpedic ergo adjustable base. He told us it may take a few days or weeks to get used to the new mattress. After a week, we love our new mattress and adjustable base. This our 2nd time making a major purchase at this Ashley location and we keep coming back because of the excellent customer service and the fair pricing. Thank you Tanner!

I went into Ashley to look at and get information on a temperpedic bed. I was told from another salesperson that Tanner was the expert with mattress information. Tanner and I went back to the mattresses when Tanner told me he needed to help the guy that was before me that wanted to purchase matresses. That was fine. While I was telling Tanner what I was looking for, he was responding to 5 or 6 questions from front desk into his mouthpiece at the same time. Then he said he needed to go to front desk for a moment and he would be back to help me. I waited for 15 minutes and decided it was time to leave this store. I went to front desk, Tanner was sitting at front desk with another couple. I asked him for height measurements, Tanner wrote on his card and gave to me. His card said he was the assistant manager. Wow, if that’s the kind of customer service an assistant manager gives, I won’t be back. This was my first time in this store and it will be my last. This was very poor customer service. I didn’t find out much about the temperpedic mattresses and bases like I asked Tanner at our introduction.

Jim was great to work with - we were able to walk around the store on our own and he was able to help us when we found something we liked! It was nice that he gave us space to look around but didn't hover! I get so anxious making someone wait on me to make decisions! He was very knowledgeable and helpful in selections. I purchased a sectional in store with the help of Jim & Tanner. I realized the next day I didn't check the measurements to make sure it would fit in our small, awkwardly shaped living room. It took several phone calls, some measuring, and replacing the order for a different sectional, but I finally found one that would fit perfectly! Jim & Tanner kept their sense of humor throughout & were professional, friendly & patient from start to finish. They made sure I was happy with my purchase & made sure all my questions were answered. Ashley Furniture really took care of us due to delays on receiving our furniture. Covid really put a squeeze on the MFG of our sofa set, and Ashely really stepped up to offer us workable solutions. In particular, Tanner (our sales guy), went above and beyond to not only keep us notified often on the status of our order but to continually look for ways to speed things up. In the end, the wait proved to be too long, and Tanner went back to the drawing board in finding us a living room set that we would love AND that Ashley would in stock. We ended up finding a set that we liked, but Tanner knew that there was another more expensive LR set on the floor that we liked a bit more. Tanner was able to work it so that we were able to purchase that more desirable set at the price we paid for the original delayed set. That is true customer service. I never rate a place based on 1 visit or experience but i'll make my first exception here. I spoke with Tanner yesterday about shopping around for bed frames for my kids. He was great about showing us where there stuff was and was not pushy at all but informative. We looked around and then went to look at other places. Ultimately we came back here to work with Tanner again and he really made sure that not only my wife and I were good with the purchase but really met our kids there too. He then connected us to Patrick to find the best mattresses for our kids. Patrick was just as knowledgeable and took the same amount of time and care to really help us meet our needs. My wife and I wanted to buy a sectional for our den and went Ashley's to take a look at what styles and prices were available in the market. When we entered the store we were greeted by Andrew Robinson and he was so helpful. I usually dread furniture shopping because some sales people seem too pushy, like they're fishing for a sale, but Andrew was perfect. He was around when we had questions, knowledgeable about the furniture, and most importantly knew when to give us space to think things through. We were able to find a sectional we loved and got a great price with no stress. It really was a no pressure environment and the best experience I could ask for when shopping for furniture. After our experience with Andrew I don't think I'll have to dread going furniture shopping in the future.

Had a great experience at thr Elk River Ashley Homestore. Needed a sofa and a loveseat. I was able to look through the entire store without anyone badgering me. End of may or first week on June they say. May 31st is here so I call them again. June 11 they say. Following week I call them again to confirm. Mid June they say. June 11 I call to confirm a mid June date. End of June they say. Well now I cancel and order elsewhere. Let's see how long it takes to get my money back.

We have moved to a different house nearly two years ago and haven't had success finding the right set for our family room layout. We spoke with Andrew about our interests and he was optimistic that he just might have what we were looking for in his Elk River store. After a short introduction to the layout of the store and pointing out some features of items we had already been looking at, Andrew allowed us the space and time to comfortably evaluate the options and narrow our decision points. We hardly had to present our questions because Andrew's practical approach to the product description, manufacturer details, fabric and features checked all the boxes. Andrew was honest and forthright by informing us that many manufacturers were backordered and we would likely need to wait for delivery. We were in no hurry and just thrilled that we had found the options we were looking for. Many stores have displays, but not many have the knowledgeable staff that understand product use and the ability to provide peace of mind that you made the right choice with the right people. Thank you Andrew! We will be back to fill yet another corner.

After waiting almost 5 months for a couch we ordered from another furniture store, and another two months to go, we cancelled our order and walked into Ashley. We had worked with Tanner before so we were glad to see him that day. He was helpful and honest with their inventory and delivery dates and helped us choose the best option for what we were looking for. I will never step foot in another Ashley store in my lifetime. They wanted my 5 year daughter to wear a mask. She has asthma and we told them we don&'t like her wearing masks. The employee said he is just doing what his boss tells him, so we left. I understand this is a private company who can make their own regulations, however as a customer and a freedom loving American, I don&'t have to shop there. Shopping at the store was great! Then it’s been down hill ever since. Furniture delivered broken in June and still waiting for replacements. 3 months later. Whenever I call it’s coming “next week” well it’s been scheduled to come next week since the middle of August so I won’t hold my breath on it ever making it here. We walked in, and was greeted very friendly by Kelly Knese at the Elk River location. She explained all specials (%'s off and clearence) and left us to browse. After finding a kitchen table we liked- a lot, she ran our numbers, and came back, making us happy. We also we aware of the late shipping possibilities, as she explained that to us as well. Due to her customer service, the time frame of shipping didn't even matter!! It was 3 months, mind you. SHAMEFUL SERVICE!!! We worked with Assistant Store Manager, Andrew Robinson and found a couch we loved. We asked for a price match and Andrew was able to match the price. However, we were bummed to hear the product wouldn't be delivered until end of August/September so we decided it wasn't for us. Long story short, we recently returned to the store (approx. 1 week later) to purchase that couch. We asked for Andrew so he could get credit for the sale as he had helped us previously. He was not working that day, so we spoke with someone else and explained the price match and that we now want to buy. She said she'd give him a call and get back to us. She came back and told us Andrew said he would have NEVER matched to that price and had no idea who we were or recall that price match. This was extremely irritating to hear!! Awful customer service, Andrew Robinson and you should be ashamed of yourself!!! Happy to say we took our business elsewhere and couldn't be more thankful!! We will never return to Ashley or their partners, and will make sure friends and family don't either 👍

I was told my bed would be delivered 15 days after I purchased it which was completely fine because I understand the delay because of covid. The day comes and I only receive my mattresses. The delivery guys tell me it’s on backorder which isn’t possible since it was a floor model. Then the delivery people I called said the store never sent the bed to the warehouse for delivery. I call the store and am told that they sent it to the warehouse but they now had no idea where the bed is. 4 hours later I get a call saying they found the bed and will deliver it in 2 days. 2 days later I haven’t received the call for delivery and I called to find out what time it would be here, I’m then told that delivery isn’t set up for me and now they are saying it will be here in a week. Very unprofessional and no one knows what’s going on.

Very disappointed after my experience today at this location. (We were hesitant to return after multiple poor quality purchases a few years ago, but with COVID we wanted to look close to home.) Called and made an appointment-very ready to make a purchase for our living room. Was in there for 45min with one less than pleasant experience with an older male sales associate (he was also the one I talked to over the phone and had already thought on the phone that that conversation was not very professional). I indicated I needed further details on multiple pieces and had very detailed descriptions of what I was hoping to purchase. He never came back after he said “keep looking.” He did not once came back in those 45minutes but rather helped a woman (who came in at least 20min after me) who was purchasing decor. Very disappointed I even attempted to support this location. We will be taking our business elsewhere and not returning.

After visiting 4 other furniture stores and feeling drained, Ashley Furniture in Elk River was a breath of fresh air! Andrew kindly greeted us, and after letting him know we were "just looking" he let us shop around on our own. Tanner was also very pleasant in making sure we were taken care of. Neither of these gentlemen were salesy whatsoever, and clearly understood when we needed help and when we wanted to shop on our own. We found the perfect bedroom set, and were shocked at how great of a deal it was, but needed to get our kids home and think on it with a clear head. Andrew was busy with another customer, so Tanner promptly printed us a quote and handed me both his and Andrew's business cards. This showed me the integrity and team culture they represent, because it was not a selfish dogfight to get a sale. I returned a few hours later and Andrew helped me with the paperwork. He had it done and delivery set up in no more than 15 minutes! They also provide free local shipping, and for only $99.00 more, they will carry in your furniture, assemble it, place it in the desired location(s) in your home, and haul away the crazy amount of packaging. This was a no brainer for our 6 piece bedroom set! We had a wonderful experience through and through, with complete clarity, and no feeling that we were being sold. Delivery of furniture over 2 weeks late, ordered to have before Xmas and told no problem, I called several times and left messages and talked to front desk lady that knew nothing, she told me store manager would call me, took 5 days for store manager to call me back and when they did return the call it was the floor sales reps whom also knew nothing and was incredible rude! I will NEVER shop here again!

I ordered 2 recliners on a Black Friday deal. When I was paying for and the sales guy was getting my info I gave him my new phone number. He put it in the computer. He told me they should be in on that following Tuesday and I will get a call. Tuesday came and went no call. I called them on Friday, they were in. I looked at the bill of sale and my old phone number was on the slip so no wonder I didn’t get a call. Got them home, they weren’t rockers like the ad stated. I called and I was told it was a misprint but was told that the recliners were good ones being made in Wisconsin. The card board box that they came in clearly says made in Vietnam. I like the recliners and for the price you can’t beat them. Just a shame about the mixed-up stuff that happened. It seems most companies are this way now.

Purchased an accent bench last week. The local folks were great. I do question the quality assurance on the corporate level. Opened the box today to put it together and there was no hardware. Such a simple thing to be overlooked. May I suggest a checklist or have an inspector check the box to make sure ALL needed parts are packed before shipping. No one apologized or seemed to care...instead I was left with the perception that this was business as usual. Got a refund, still need a bench, will spend my money where this detail will not be overlooked.

This store is the best, Kim our salesperson was so very helpful. I bought a beautiful dining table set. After we set it up I noticed that some rude person tried to carve their initials in the top of the table. I spoke to Kim, she gave me a number to call for customer service. Not only did they schedule a quick delivery of a replacement table, but they also set it up and took down the bad one. This is why I keep going back to Ashley! I just love that store and their employees! Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience with the ElkRiver Ashley Furniture Store! Tanner went above and beyond helping us figure out what end tables would look best with our couch and loveseat we purchased. He helped us out with financing as well. We are waiting for the furniture to be delivered August 16ish. . . . very excited! Ashley Furniture Elk River was waaayyyyy more helpful than the Albertville location. . . . I don't do reviews as a rule but felt Tanner and Ashley deserved a 5 star review! Bought a number of pieces from Andrew Robinson. The whole process from the selection, purchase, and delivery was flawless and fun. Andrew was awesome, very knowledgeable and personable. The delivery guys, Jesus and his partner were awesome. They moved a whole truckload of furniture in without so much as bumping a wall! They were two of the hardest working guys I've seen in a long time. Very polite and professional. This is a reflection of strong leadership within the company and it derserves to be recognized. Highly recommend!!!

Tanner is so personal and can answer pretty much any question. When he is dealing with you you feel that you are an important customer and not just $$. Jane shadowed him for training and doing a great job. She asked questions to make sure she got the correct information. She was more like a friend than a sales person. I will be buying more from them for sure!

We had a great experience with purchasing furniture and the sales associate we had was awesome (younger new girl). The problem came when the furniture was not delivered due to the weather. We had called the night before to see if they would deliver in the snow and they said they would, but if it was too bad, we’d get a call first thing in the morning. That didn’t happen, after taking time off work with limited vacation time, the call came at 11:30 that the furniture delivery was cancelled. We called the manager, Andrew at the store and he promised to have the furniture delivered on a Saturday to avoid taking more time off work, promised the delivery fee would be removed and the few items that we had for pick up would be delivered instead. Furniture came and the delivery people said that they were told we were going to be “problems” to deal with. The items that were going to be delivered instead of us picking them up were not in the delivery, so Andrew promised to personally deliver them, but after being put off, we just picked it up. The delivery fee was not removed as promised either. Won’t be going back, I highly suggest going to a different store for your furniture needs.

Expensive and thought everything was the same styles nothing unique to other stores. Some things looked cheaply made.

He was very pleasant and took us to the furniture my wife explained she wanted for our new home. The chairs she wanted were exactly the color and style she was looking for and at clearance prices. While we were satisfied with our Ashley Furniture experience, we decided to try Becker Furniture in Becker for comparison. We are so glad we did because we found Becker's selection disappointing. Yes, they do have a huge store, but we did not like their colors (too much grey) and most of their furniture styles. We then went back to Ashley Home Store to find Tanner and make our purchase. Ashley has many delivery options. My wife got exactly the two chairs she wanted and we like the way Tanner worked with us. Be sure to check out Ashley Furniture store in Elk River and ask for Tanner. You will not be disappointed.

We purchased our dining room table from Ray and loved the service he gave us. He let us wander around and take our time while checking in. We found the perfect farmhouse table for our new house. He worked with our budget and was flexible with our toddler being busy!

Walked into Ashley HomeStore with the idea of how much I wanted to spend and what I was looking for as far a living room arrangement. Andrew was extremely helpful the moment I walked into the door. I came back the next afternoon to get the second loveseat that was still mentioned as part of the manager special that weekend and he was right there to assist me with my order. Was able to pick up that day from the Fridley Warehouse location and now I am waiting on my delivery from Ashley on my second loveseat. Customer service was top notch and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. They will treat you right.

Upon entering Ashley Furniture in Elk River "just to look around", I was warmly greeted by Justin Previti. Justin asked me first how I was doing before we started to discuss what brought me in. While starting to move forward in the store, I spotted the Bolanburg Collection. EXACTLY what I was looking for when we complete a remodel project. Justin took the time that evening to answer many other questions I had and then again has been wonderful in getting back to me within a timely manner to many emails we exchanged about options of what was available, law-a-way, price matching and then some! He has been very patient with me. What I really noticed was his knowledge in current trends and design.
