They sell money back warrenty on high purchase items here and don’t even discuss terms that you have a six month window to spend. Basically letting them expire on purpose. Everyone here has a different explanation no one is on the same page. If you want something specific that you saw online don’t even bother going in to the store to pick it up.

We been to the store in fridley. We are throughly satisfied with the receiving and help through out the store. Extremely lackluster and bizarre experience. Not sure if I wasn’t taken seriously because I’m young and was there alone, but I went in hoping to make a purchase and the employee who greeted me genuinely could not have been more unhelpful. I mentioned I wanted a pet friendly performance fabric on a small sectional or sofa/ottoman combo and showed a few models I saw online that I liked. He spent most of the time trying to track down the exact models I showed him which ultimately weren’t on the floor yet - ok, no problem. Not dead set on those specific models at all, just wanted to show examples. But instead of showing me similar models, fabric swatches, literally offering ANY alternative options whatsoever, he told me to come back later in the week for the exact models I was looking for and then told me I should just get a 5 year stain warranty instead of a performance fabric. Which, judging by the visibly dirty sofas on the display floor, might be necessary. Regardless, I wanted a performance fabric for durability, not because it’s stain proof, and if he had asked me any questions at all he would have known that. He also vaguely pointed in the direction of one half of the store and told me to “look over there” and then just stood around as I aimlessly wandered around. I went next door to Furniture Mart and had a fantastic experience with outstanding customer service. Since they are owned by the same company, maybe they should teach each other lessons on how and how not to make a sale.

I bought 3 bedrooms, lower and upper level lounge furniture from Ashley Fridley Location and experience was excellent. Nermin took care of us and provided the best service that we were hoping for. He was always available to answer any questions and also went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. I visited other furniture stores/outlets in twin cities area and found this one to be the best. I will recommend this store to anyone who is looking to purchase a furniture.
Just purchased a mattress couple of Month ago.the one i purchased is medium firm and when i checked it, i didn't like so i asked an ashley customer care for the exchange to the firmer one. They did exchange but it is not what i asked that they brought in. The softest mattress than the old one i used to had I told ashley home store that the one they sent me is not what i wanted. They sent me the technician to take a look at the mattress and after one week thay told me that it is the company standard. That is all they can say. Please don't get scammed take your business somewhere else if you can.
My first time ever at Ashley Furniture was last Saturday. Where have I been?? We went to the Maple Grove location to look at recliners for my son. We did a bit of pre shopping and hunted down a beautiful dual power recliner in chocolate faux leather—the Warnerton. It has most of the important bells and whistles like separate power foot rest and power head rest, cup holders, a usb port and suitable man cave storage in the armrests for snacks. (Unfortunately, we could find no models that had a microwave under the seat for quick meals…) I guess that’s still my job. I like the style of this chair: it’s comfy and plush enough to be a real recliner without looking overstuffed. (Mom doesn’t go for that overstuffed look…) In any case, we retired Sam’s second-hand, LazyBoy high leg recliner which looked like a toy chair when Sam poured his 6’2” frame into it. (I never meant to keep that chair as long as I did, but he made it work!) The chair is being delivered on Wednesday which is perfect. Also, I must mention store manager, Mercedes, who helped us when we needed help and kept us smiling through the entire experience. It was fun! I mean, it’s not every day that a mom gets to buy her son his first, new recliner—not for any special reason other than he just deserves it! Hope he lets me sneak in and watch movies… Highly recommend Ashley Furniture—as many stars as I can give them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If I could leave 0 stars I would - We have been waiting 5 months for a couch that we were told would take 6-8 weeks. We have been strung along by workers multiple times with no answer. After speaking with the store and customer service, there is nothing being done for this issue and we were told hopefully it will be here in a few weeks. Horrible experience.

My in-store experience was typical, but after I left the store nothing went smoothly. I was told deliveries started at 8am but my delivery came closer to 7am. My furniture arrived with one piece badly damaged, the entire frame was messed up with wood and nails sticking out. They did replace the item but I had to wait and hold onto the busted furniture in the meantime. Delivery of the replacement went well, but they did not leave me with the felt floor protectors that came with the original and when I called to ask for those to be sent, I was given a difficult time and told I was welcome to go buy some at Walmart. Very disappointed in this treatment after I spent good money on a new couch, to not even be able to send me the floor protectors they forgot. I Won’t buy from here again.

So, imagine you lose your keys in your house. Now, imagine your house has about 200 pieces of furniture between couches/arm chairs/beds. That's a lot of cushions to dig through. When I asked the staff member who had already been helping me if I had left my keys on the counter, I expected a yes or a no. I did not expect a small army of team members to comb through the entire store for sake. The couch that I received is fantastic. I love it. The delivery was great. I'm looking forward to enjoying it for years. The staff is amazing and I'm very grateful to them for helping me conduct a very successful scavenger hunt!

My wife and I went shopping for furniture and bedding for the first time in over 20 years. Tomas Smaby greeted us with a broad smile and firm handshakes as if he had met us before. Don’t trust their protection plan, I purchased a protection plan for my sofa’s and then my sofa got damaged. I called the Guardian Protection office, they refused my request to replace my sofa. Don’t trust @Guardian protection plan

We shopped at the Fridley, MN location. We were greeted by a couple sales associates but did not feel uncomfortable. Riley V. helped us. We were shopping for living room furniture and he let us wonder around for quite a long time and was available if we had questions. Riley was knowledgeable and friendly. We went to several more stores and came back to Ashley because we found furniture we liked there. Riley wrote up our sale. It only took a few minutes. He explained the financing, how the protection plan worked, when the furniture would be delivered to their location and when we could set up a delivery date. Everything went smoothly. No complaints.

My experience at Ashley Furniture was great! Walked in on a Thursday night and Riley was quick to answer questions and help me look through the options. He was very patient, didn’t pressure me to make a decision - a very good salesperson! I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for (I have an oddly shaped living room), so I didn’t buy anything then. I came back on Saturday with a different vision and Evelyn was able to see what I was going for an immediately showed me the PERFECT set. I bought it immediately! Free delivery to my sidewalk and a protection plan that is refundable. Love it!

I Bought $2378 of furniture on 1/10/24 One piece was to big so I returned it on 1/11/23 for a total of $648. Because I paid with cash it took them two weeks to mail me the refund and the post office 5 days to deliver the check. Almost 3 weeks to get a refund is WAY to long. They said it always take 3 weeks for a refund.
Honestly, we came into this location simply to test out a couch I wanted from a friend who's the manager at a competitor who was going to get me a good deal on it but they didn't carry that couch in their store and these guys did. We were greeted by Tomas who was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions about the couch despite the fact I even informed him that we were there just to simply try it out and I was getting from said competitor. We ended up buying the couch through Tomas and Ashley Furniture instead! Would easily and highly recommend these guys. Thank you Ashley and an even bigger thank you to Tomas
Don’t buy their protection package!!! It’s a waste of money. When you need it, they won’t approve it and say that whatever the damage is, isn’t covered.

Just came out of Ashley in Fridley with a great experience! I was looking to replace a recliner and I asked the sales associate, Riley, who approached me where they were. Riley quickly showed me where they were and then let me actually go try them out by myself, without him following me around like you would expect. It was refreshing! I had just come from from a competitor store in which the sales associate did just that. Trying to strike up conversation the entire time. I'll I wanted was to listen to my music while I sat, got up, sat in another, stood up, etc. Riley let me experience each chair within my natural comfort level. After a bit he checked up on me in a very non-pushy manor, and I actually responded well to this style. I asked a few simple questions which led into a great conversation. I found 3 chairs I liked that I WILL be bringing my wife back to show her. Thank you Riley and thank you Ashley Homestore for having an inviting atmosphere.

Decent selection but it’s very chaotically laid out with different items strewn about the store. We were looking for a kitchen table but none of them had dimensions listed on the price placard which is a massive oversight to me unless everyone is expected to bring in tape measures.

He gave us great direction on navigating the store when we first entered the building but wasn’t a hovering sales person like we experienced at the other furniture stores we visited over the weekend. Top 3 worst experience in the last 25 years. Waited 1hour 10min to get 3 lightweight outdoor wicker items off the showroom floor into my truck…..and this is after we already told the sales lady we will be back in an hour to pick them up…..just completely ridiculous. There were 7 sales people standing around doing NOTHING(3 sitting on their phones talking about fantasy football) and nobody was smart enough to have the things we bought ready for pickup? 6 other cars showed up AFTER we did and got their items while we waited….and waited. So after 30min I go back in the showroom and more standing around doing nothing. “Hey can one of you 7 people help to get those items in my truck? They are 30ft from the front door and weight about 20lbs. I’ve been waiting 30min already” “Nope…you have to wait for it to go through customer pickup cause it’s a federal crime to allow it to go out the front door”. What?! Bottom line….I was the next person in line and watched 6 other cars drive up, hand them paper and get there stuff and drive away. You don’t just keep getting the items that are closer/faster while a customer is waiting for over an hour.
Had to go here to get the chairs we purchased in Woodbury. Or wait for them to remember to put them on a truck.
They have good values but you have to find them. What's on the floor is not necessarily what they have in the distribution center values. Better than many furniture stores though.

Better off calling the store first if you see something online you like. Drove all the way there because we saw 2 futons we liked for a dorm room and those 2 did not say online only like the others did. They asked which store did we want to shop at and chose this location and they showed up for this location. Go to the store and the guy at the door was rude and said they were online only and said let me see your phone to show you that. If they are online only then it should say that on them like the others did not ask you which store to buy them at.
When shopping for furniture for my son’s relocation from TN to MN, we reached out to Tom Smaby because he had good sales reviews. He was exceptional!! We ordered everything by phone having never met him or been in his place of business. He was personal, caring, helpful and trustworthy. He was very responsive to all texts and emails, helped us with delivery coordination with a move in date and even followed up after delivery. When we finally made it to MN we went by to meet him at his store and he assisted us in one last purchase. He definitely understands the meaning of costumer service and went the extra mile for us. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Terri Trudeau helped us purchase a new couch and made it a fantastic experience! She was welcoming, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the different sales, helping us get the best deal. She also walked us through how our protection plans work for this new piece of furniture as well as our previous furniture. We didn't feel pressured or like we were being watched like we have in different furniture stores. Instead, Terri was always there if we needed help or had questions which made us feel much more comfortable.

Ashley furniture was the first place out of 6 or 8 places that we shopped. Immediately we were greeted at the door and given the info that we needed for what sales were going on and where everything 2as located throughout the store. The prices were clear and fairly reasonable with the sales they had going on. We weren't hounded or bothered and we were able to shop in peace. After we price shopped around, we decided that Ashley was the bang for the buck. When we went back to finalize our purchase, Tom Smaby greeted us and allowed us to do what we needed to do before sitting down with him. He was helpful and professional throughout th3 process. We are very satisfied with that shopping experience. The other stores had sales people bother us and try to push sales onto us, and some places had sales and price tags that weren't clear. 10/10 would recommend Ashley furniture.

Whatever you do DO NOT PURCHASE the Guardian Protection Plan. I purchased furniture 14 month's ago along with the pet protection plan, long story short my newborn puppy bit a hole in the fabric I submitted a claim over a month ago and I'm still getting the run around on getting it repaired or replaced. The staff at the Fridley location is of no help and didn't show any type of compassion or interest in helping me but thought I would find comfort in saying that this is not the first complaint they received about Guardian. So either stop selling the protection plan or work with a company that will actuality honor the warranty what waste of money
Yes Indeed, Ashley is the Largest Furniture Brand in the World🙂 Great collection, friendly sales executives and the BeST Price is Guaranteed, ALWAYS!!! I wish they handled the delivery too and not outsourced it to vendors who at times can be rude and not helpful during the setup which is the actual step where we realize the value of the furniture purchased.
My partner and I recently purchased some furniture from the Ashley store in Fridley, MN. We were helped by a sales associate named Brady. We had to make 2 trips to Ashley because we didn't measure properly, couldn't fit our first order down our stairs, and had to return it. Brady handled it a champ! We were very impressed with him, and very satisfied with the help he provided. I never thought I'd be recommending a furniture store, but I do recommend this one!

I had a good experience with the sales person, and I liked their selection but the customer service has been abysmal. The motor in my couch broke about 2 months after purchase. Almost a year and a dozen calls later, my tickets have been closed or forgotten about multiple times and I still have a broken couch. It was also the second time the same motor broke, so I don't trust the quality much either.

My review isn’t to this location but to their online ordering. I ordered online got my shipment in a few days which was perfect. I started putting together my dresser and multiple things were chipped. I got sent the wrong night stand and was told to send it to goodwill taking time and money out of my day . If I order thousands worth of stuff I l expect it to be perfect.

Had a good experience here. I like the selection and quality here much better than the Albertville outlet. We had a store credit from previous purchase of extended warranty we never used. Looked around for an ottoman. Salesman offered the floor model at a nice discount which was great. We also got a fantastic wall clock that gets lots of compliments! Furniture pickup could be better. Long wait to get furniture brought out and loaded. But it worked out.. Just be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for your stuff to be ready. Maybe read a book while you wait.. Lol!

Very pleased with our shopping experience at Ashley Furniture. Their movers damaged many walls in our home and they have yet to take care of our damages. They are referring us to the third party movers and although we've sent them everything twice they still have not repaired the damages. Do not pay to have your furniture moved. You will 100% regret it and Ashleys does not care to stand behind the movers they sublet to. Also, don't reply to this telling me to contact your customer service team. We've been dealing with Alex and have yet to hear back from her. Surprise surprise.
Spendy...the items now are like vintage and not new looking or modern at all. If I wanted to have a torn paint old looking desk, I would go get the one out of my inlaws attic! They used to have good items, I still have a glass table I bought at an Ashley's a few years ago and I had gun metal bed frame that was really cool. I do have a mattress and pillow from there a bought a few years ago that is working out well. Items change all the time. Each to there own I guess 🤷

Buyers beware- The people that work here do not know the different between left or right- stop or go. I’ve purchased multiple items and things from Ashley Furniture with no issues in the past. Recently bought a couch, 15 months ago to be exact. We bought the extended warranty for protection, to protect the purchase we just made. Now 15 months later we have a rip in the seam of the couch, leaving a large hole. We go to proceed with doing a claim with the warranty- for them to tell me they don’t cover a rip in the seam. So I reached out to Ashley Furniture to express my concerns. They then tell me the manufacturer warranty on the fabric of the couch is one year. They were unwilling to help us with fixing these issues. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Ashley Furniture- no longer will return to buy anything else from them!
It is somewhat hard to find options for California King Bed frames, after visiting several furniture stores, we walked into Ashley to discover that every bed set option, they had a California King option. This made our process so easy, find the option you like and order it. Thank you to the Ashley associates that helped us as several of you were involved in our purchase process and it was easy!

Good service & knowledge. Bought a couch, got it within 5 days. Delivery guys weren't very friendly. The one cushion I sit on a lot is wrinkled, hope it out lasts me. Ha. Price was right, not always a good thing.

Terrible customer service. They gave me the wrong pieces to put a chair together. When I called they said to bring the pieces in to get the right ones. No need to bring the whole chair. I do the 25 minute drive back to them and find out that I was given a completely wrong set of legs. So I asked if I could take the correct set home and Id bring back all the incorrect ones the next day - they said no I jar to go get the chair to change. This is not putting the customer first. As a business owner myself you ALWAYS put the customer first and do the correct thing. We’ve purchased thousands of dollars from them in the past but will never go back after this.

Never again! Was told one time slot then another, didn’t show up for 2 hours later when it was pouring out. We chose this sectional bc it was promised a time slot that would work for us to have people come help. Waste of a day for sure. Called manager never got a follow up. I’m in customer service myself and it started off so great.. then ended not working great!

Nermin not only answered my questions, but went to the warehouse to take a picture of the sofa next to an ottoman that I was interested in. He sent me the photo and I could see that the colors didn't quite match. But the very good news was that the sofa is in stock and can be delivered to my new home just a few days after I arrive. Went in to just window shop and found the couch of my dreams. Tom was the associate that helped me and he was delightful and easygoing. He first greeted me when I came in but did not hound me giving me my time to look around. When I did find the couch he answered all of my questions and got me checked out quickly. It was the easiest furniture shopping experience of my life.
We went to pick up a pillow we ordered. When we came in, we asked the woman in the front of the store where we could pick it up. Without barely taking her eyes off her phone she said customer pickup. We asked her where that was, and she sighed so loud, put down her phone, and rudely told us we needed to drive to the back of the building. I mean who would know that if you’ve never picked anything up from there before? The gentleman that helped us pick out our bed and pillow was great, but I don’t think we will come here again if we are going to be treated like that. And to the employee that was rude to us, sorry we made you get off of your phone and do your job 🙄

Please ask for Tom! He was amazing, he helped with picking out the perfect mattress for me and my hubby, and went up and beyond for our base delivery. Our base was on back order but Tom was able to get our base sooner than expected. Thank you Tom for all of your help. Update: When our base was delivered they scratched our footboard and baseboard! When our base was set up they didn’t set the base up correctly, some of the features wasn’t working so we assumed that the base was broke and called in to customer support. Turns out they didn’t install it correctly so we had to reinstall the base which wasn’t bad but for the amount that we paid we were not happy about that. Secondly, when the base was installed they scratched the sides of the bed frame. So we have some very noticeable holes and scratches on the side. We reached out to customer support as well. In which they told us that we would have to get a completely new one installed! It’s been a run around with this. And for the amount that was paid we were not expecting the carelessness. Still waiting on a call from management to see if they can accommodate for this!

I purchased a dining room set from Ted M. at Ashley Homestore on 11/1/21. All item except the bench was instock. Ted assured it will only take 2 week top for the bench to come in. I called 2 weeks later now Ted informs me it won't be in until March 2022 and there were 40+ customers waiting for the same item. After calling twice this week, I am being told it will come in June. I canceled the order and requested a refund right away and will be monitoring my banking account for the refund since other reviews stated issues with their refund. I would never have bought this dining room set had i know this was the outcome. This business is very, very shady and will give you the run around. Customers service needs to improve, I talked to a lady and she did nothing but told me she would have Ted call back to which he never did. Seems like the sales associates should only handle their customers inquires.

Shopping for furniture at ANY store is a nightmare due to covid, shipping challenges & very low inventory. That said, BRAVO to the store mgr Tom Smaby for EXCEPTIONAL commitment to service! When shopping elsewhere the sales teams have been very disengaged. Yet Tom had so much knowledge, great energy and made me feel like he sincerely cared about my experience. Wasn't able to get much product, yet it certainly wasn't lack of effort. Thank you Tom! I will be back.

I would never shop with Ashley Homestore again.. the sales guy I dealt with was nice , but everything else was horrible. I had to wait 3 extra weeks to get my furniture and then when I got my furniture, twice the delivery guys didn’t want to do their jobs. The first guy was running behind and made up a lie about how he couldn’t get the furniture in . ( 2guys came the next day an got the same furniture in). The second time the dispatch lady called me and told me that movers were downstairs.. So I start walking downstairs to let in and also asking the dispatch lady why didn’t they just ring the doorbell?? As I’m walking down the stairs these guys are pulling off. LONG STORY SHORT.. WORST SERVICE EVER 😡😡

By Ashley employee. Then when they agree to a refund. Me they prorate my money . This sectional is not a year old .. I would never ever purchase anything from Ashley furniture again. 🤔💯.

My husband and I went into Ashley Home Store in Fridley feeling a little defeated because we were hoping to find some new furniture for our new house and everywhere we had gone had nothing in stock. We were told it could be up to 6 months until we could get certain items. Tyler B welcomed us into the store and was just wonderful to work with. He gave us so much great information on all the pieces we were looking at and was able to give us great deals on the items we liked. I first went online to order a new bedroom set but everything was backordered 3-5 mo so I called Ashley HomeStore in Fridley and spoke with Tom who was great! The local Ashley had everything in stock except one dress that I wanted but Tom called around kept me updated throughout the day and was able to find me a showroom model instead so I could complete the set. Our intention was just to look.....that changed, after Gilbert Asuncion( Home Furnishing Consultant) approached us and we started to chat with him, with no pressure to purchasing anything. Gilbert did change our mind and we ended up buying (a sofa set and a sectional) we couldn't be more happy with the decision we made. We ordered furniture in June 2021 for our new house in September. Due to covid we wanted to order early. We found 2 love seat and a couch we loved but we ended up finding something else that would work better in our new space. I called on 8/20/2021 to cancel our order and receive our deposit of $500 back. The representative we worked with in June processed the returned. I was informed it would take 5-7 days. I waited till today 9/1/2021 to check up as sometime returns do take a tiny bit. Well he said hmm let me check with our back office and i will get back to you why you haven't received your return. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK!! I reached out to the support chat and was told to call the central office for assistance. I was informed the order was NEVER cancelled. I now will be waiting another week for the return of the deposit. Would not suggest Nermin to work with.
I purchased a sleeper sofa, ottoman and side chair from two different Ashley stores. Brian, Casey, Mercedes and Tyler were all great in helping me find the exact product and get it delivered or placed on order. They honored online prices where appropriate and I never felt pressure to buy more than I needed.
Horrible customer service. Trying to replace a piece of due to it being defective and I've been sleeping on the floor and waiting 5 weeks now. Just was notified there's a truck coming at the end of august with who know what. Never will I ever order from Ashley furniture again. I will advise others as well. Ps. It's a foot post with a peg on it. Too bad.
I bought kids bed, mattress, boxer yesterday noon and i spend around$1800 . today i called them to exchange only the mattress we are not even open the box and not evn 24hours . The sound of a lady who responed my call looks not good and rush to end my call, she said " we are not exchange mattress " . The saller was nice his name is j.

My husband and I were looking for a new bed. We had searched other stores but didn't find what we were looking for. We decided to try Ashley 's and we were greeted as soon as we stepped inside the store. I appreciate that we didn't have to wander around hoping to find someone who could help us. We found a bed that fit our needs and the price wasn't bad. We were able to get financed within 15 minutes. The quality was very good. We were able to get delivery and the removal of our old bed. We're very happy with our experience.

I had an excellent experience working with Sam and Ashley furniture fridley. She made my entire experience pain-free. I had multiple issues with getting in my apartment and ended up getting a different apartment. The original sofa I ordered did not fit in the apartment and she helped me re-select a sofa and take care of all of the issues. I highly recommend you use this store and definitely ask for Sam. She has the best customer service I've ever experienced!

The furniture itself is fine, but this company is AWFUL with customer service. We bought four pieces. One was delivered broken. One was "lost" on the sales floor and we had to physically go carry it out ourselves. One had delivery canceled with no notice, and when we called back, they said the item was now out of stock at all stores. Only one was delivered correctly. At each turn, I got the runaround from someone who handed me off to a different customer service rep - I went in circles and had to spend literally hours trying to get someone to fix the issue. Though it ultimately ended up getting fixed, I would not buy from this company again. You should only take the risk if you have 4+ extra hours to spend on the phone dealing with customer service people. Moving is stressful enough, and these folks make it awful. Stars are also taken off for the constant upselling and car salesman tactics. Our salesman spent at least 15 minutes trying to convince us to buy stuff we didn't need or want, only to waste our time further by messing up the computer data entry - which is part of what caused the saga described above. Just a gigantic waste of time with no social awareness or actual customer service focus.

My husband and I spent some time in the Ashley Homestore in Fridley, MN, this past Sunday, 5/30/2021 and I just have to share the experience. I was in pursuit of three specific furniture items. This was my first experience shopping at an Ashley Homestore. I did end up with the items I had in mind and give full credit to Tyler Boshart (Ashley Furnishing Consultant) for a shopping experience that was a cut above any previous experiences. Tyler was courteous, extremely helpful, answered all our questions, gave us his full attention and provided us detailed information about the expected delivery dates and pick-up process for items that were ordered. We were very pleased with the Customer Service and enjoyed his humor, too. We will definitely return for future furniture purchases and seek out Tyler when we do.

My experience was a good one. I was greeted at the entrance by an associate who was very welcoming. No pressure from the sales staff, when i was ready to checkout it was also a good experience. I will return there for any furniture needs.

Edit: I left the review on Saturday night and had a voicemail message Sunday morning, only a few minutes after the store opened from Tom. We were able to quickly resolve the issue and I have a new delivery date set for a new set of chairs at no cost. I didn't think anything could be done about this but I am satisfied that we were able to figure it out I bought a couch here years ago and was very satisfied with the process, including the shopping/browsing process. I was glad to see the sales team did not aggressively follow us around the store as they do in other furniture stores. Recently I bought an expensive table and chairs set a few months ago and it was delivered with assembly (the chairs were pre-assembled). After a few months all of the chairs were wobbly. I went to tighten the bolts on the bottom and I noticed several chairs had mismatched hardware so they must have just grabbed whatever parts they could find. One chair had a bolt entirely missing. Half of the chairs had small bits of wood everywhere meaning they missed the hole when drilling. The worst part is half of the bolts on all of the chairs were completely stripped. One of the stripped bolts only made it half way in to the chair leg. I couldn't tighten or loosen them without seriously damaging the chairs.

Still no updates on my furniture. I’ve been getting the run around since 4/3/2021 and each day I call no one knew that I was waiting on my furniture. I’ve called over 6 times and still nothing. I’ll just take my refund and never shop here ever again. This is unbelievable. Horrible customer service and horrible loaders that break things you paid for and the manager do not care about the customers ... ridiculous!!!

Went in the first time and was greeted by a guy named Mike. He said if we needed help, he'd be the one to go to. So we go look around and decided on some dressers, came back to him and he asks us who greeted us. Him, duh. Anyways, he then rushes to help us and while helping us, goes to help another family. When we finally got to purchasing, he proceeds to spell my name wrong and can't even pull up my file because they only want one file per customer SO THEN he asks me to finance with them AGAIN even though my account is still active. Then proceeds to tell us to come in the next day to finish things up and rushes to help the other family. THE NEXT DAY... we go back and the office clerk was helping us or so we thought!!! But nothing happened. They found my account, didn't fix it like they said they would. When my items were available to be delivered, I called to schedule and they said nothing had been paid or issued so I got transferred to the corporate office where HOPEFULLY they were able to help. We will see though. As a furniture store where you rely on these sales, I would expect better customer service. When we were in the shop, they had someone's ID in their scanner and didn't return it to the owner. He probably already left the store because no one remember who he was or who helped him since they were all rushing and disorganized.

I’ve been shopping for weeks to furnish my new home. I was frustrated by with the selection at different furniture stores. I couldn’t find everything I wanted at one store until I stopped in at the Ashley store in Fridley. We were greeted immediately by the store manager Tom. He is a great sales person. He is very knowledgeable and super friendly. He was able to help me coordinate all of my choices to match everything thru out the whole house. It’s was refreshing to work with a store manager that was not too busy to help us thru the whole process and not hand us off to a sales person.

I have been a customer with Ashley furniture Friday location mainly for more then a couple of years now. I only work with semso with anything I need or looking for. He’s never failed me with anything I’m looking for. It is always as easy as me telling him what I might need and he just goes to work Locate multiple furniture items different colors and with prices around my budget. A great sales person he definitely goes above and beyond for all of his customers. same as the rest of his team. The customer service is great at this location, the place is always neat and clean, very professional as expected. Ashley furniture will always have my business.

As a loyal Ashley customer, I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of empathy, customer service, and communication I have received with my current order. Sales rep messed up on our order and there has been no ownership of the mistake. Manager was very rude and dismissive and when asked why we should continue with Ashley, his response was, “So that’s what this is…” very disappointed.

I love coming into this store to get good quality furniture with Tom Smaby. Tom has alot of energy and is always giving me excellent service when I come in. I have also recommended that my mother and sister come in to get furniture and he has given them the same quality of service and merchandise. My husband and I purchase a brown leather sectional November of 2020. We went to the Ashley's furniture store off of 694 in fridley. Our sales representative was Lincoln who advised that due to the pandemic with most likely not receive our furniture until the end of February beginning of march. He also advised he would stay in contact with us and provide us updates. We never heard from ourselves representative nor did we receive any communications from Ashley regarding our sectional. I took it upon myself to call at the end of February and ask for an update they advise that we were six on the list for receiving a sectional. they also advised that our sales representative should be getting in touch with us. a week goes by no response from sales representative nor Ashley so I call again. We were advised that we were third on the list and one of our pieces was on backorder it was also advised that I would be getting a call from our sales representative that Monday. well Monday came and gone no word from the sales representative so I took it upon myself to give Ashley's another phone call. when I got a hold of the sales representative he advised that they had training all day Monday which is why he could not call. It is now March 19th and we have been advised that our sectional is in the store but one piece is on back order and they are not sure what it will be available. Needless to say I will never order from Ashley's furniture again my husband and I will make sure to discourage our friends co-workers and family from purchasing at Ashley's furniture. communication is key all it takes is a simple phone call they keep us updated.

They were all very professional but we personally delt with Britt and she was Amazing! We had ordered a bunk bed and realized the day after that it was a tad bit cheaper online so we went back in to talk with Britt and she was able to give us the price match! I was very thankful for that, and we used that toward a bed set and she priced matched the bed set we had order too! She wasn't pushy and very knowledgeable! Thank you so much!.
I had a great experiense today at this location! Tom Smaby was great to work with and got me in and out VERY quickly. He offered add-ons, but was pushy , which is something I really apprecaite after spending a lot of time looking for the right piece for our new home. We have a lot more home to go and will DEFINITELY be back to see Tom!
My experience with Ashley Furniture has yet to be satisfying. They delivered my furniture incorrectly twice after it took 6 months to get it, very frustrating when you have to take time out of your day. The last straw for me was them not honoring a deal they posted on their website on 2/23/21. I went today to get the deal THEY advertised and the manager was rude about it and told me he would absolutely NOT agree to THEY'RE price listed. How do you not price match your own furniture. I was told to make sure I brought in the advertisement and they would honor it?! Well thanks for nothing, I will not recommend any one else to go there just on my experience.

I've been to Ashley a few times in the last couple years and purchased furniture a couple times. My experiences have been amazing each time I've purchased a bed, couch, etc. and quite honestly I may have been so entranced by the sales pitch of LeAnn that I've been back just to hear it again and never purchased anything. All and all the delivery worked out great, the sale was smooth and flawless in execution or if you ever want to feel like the only, most important person in the world... Shop for a bed and look for LeAnn!

Great experience mattress shopping. I bought a mattress a year ago and followed asking for my partner's mattress purchase this past weekend. Both times, we were blessed with the sales experience from LeeAnn Sporre. She's very educated and has a wealth of knowledge in sleep science and technology. I really enjoyed her style of building personal stories into the facts and statistics she brought up. It took a few hours to go through and get the full run down on cheap to pricey mattresses but was worth every minute. LeeAnn helped us feel at ease and had no guilting or shaming tactics. I highly recommend Ashley for matress shopping! The show room has lots of furniture options for other rooms in the house!

Waited here for 45 minutes for a sales person. They walked right by us every time, to people that looked more wealthy. We came in looking to buy a couch and night stand. But waited and got passed by. A sales person job is to try and sale not walk by the customer dozens of times. We tried to get people's attention and got ignored. People need better training.

Absolutely the worst. We were going to buy a mattress online, but Leeann convinced us to come into the store. After getting everything set up, they scheduled delivery for our mattress for Dec 1st with the assistance of Ray. They failed to actually schedule the delivery and are unwilling to make their error right. Will not be buying any more items from this company. If they can't own up to shipping errors, what else won't they own up to? Not worth the risk.

Gilbert AKA G-Man is the BEST sales representative among all the Ashley stores in Minnesota. He was very thorough, patient, and honest. 5/5 recommend Ashley in Fridley. They also keep their masks on, unlike in Albertville.

Understood my furniture not being delivered within the time frame anticipated due to COVID. However, the manager sent me a gift card to use toward a future purchase. I went to purchase an area rug which was priced at $189.99. I went to purchase it and found a box cutter had cut through about 6-8 inch length in the middle of the carpet but was still willing to purchase at a much discounted rate along with the gift card. The manager, Tom told me he was already discounting it by the gift card amount and would not discount it even more because they are there to make money. Its difficult to understand why I should pay full price for a damaged carpet, gift card or no gift card. Tom was very rude after we spent extended time trying to complete the transaction and then he told us something completely different and we left without the carpet. I would not shop this location again. Funny thing is we went to another location and they accommodated us and their customer service was exceptional. Long story short I got the carpet I wanted, used the gift card and no damage to this rug for the same price fridley wanted to sell me a damaged one for.

I ordered an 8x10 Surya rug from Ashley online. The colors of the rug did not match those in the photo. They don&'t accept returns to the store. Ashley customer service kept telling me they would process the return. After multiple calls and hours on the phone, they finally started the process. I sent photos of the rug and per Ashley, the manufacturer said variations should be expected and they would not pay for shipping. It would cost me over $200 to ship back (the rug was $400). I ended up selling it to a friend at a $100 loss.

I’m waiting more than three Months just to deliver three home chairs. There is no information on why even this is happening, no one is caring us about any thing, I would never come here if I would have ever thought like this situation. The quality is nothing if there is no a complementary service. They told us that they are making a delivery on August 29, 2020. We trashed our old chairs for convenient, now our children are sitting down on a cold floors feeling uncomfortable ...... do you think it is enough to say “ it is bcz of pandemic”? Do you think that people have like an anergy to listen your internal problem ?. I hope every one will be informed about what is going on here ..,...
I'm so glad I choose Ashley as my furniture provider. I shopped with them during the pandemic. Their costumer service is outstanding. As soon as you enter to the shop you can see how professional there are. I have been many other famous furniture shops before I went to Ashley and non of them were not able to provide my furniture on time and most of them asked me to wait six months. I understand current situation makes everything harder but I want to appreciate Ashley furniture on your hardworking and full filling our dreams. My sells assistant Nermin did an awesome job and he is a great guy to work with. Delivered furniture as they planned and some came before their estimated time frame. Even the delivery was smooth and they were well trained to do their job. I'm a happy customer. Highly recommend Ashley Furniture.

We had to wait FOREVER to get anyone to help us pick up our order. Everyone inside the warehouse was in slow motion. We were the first and only ones waiting, but before you knew it, all five spots were filled with waiting customers with no help in site! Frustrating and slow service!

We recently moved down to the area from Duluth. We did not bring any furniture with due to selling for the move. We went to Home furniture in Plymouth and bought a couch. The salesman said it would arrive in 2 weeks. That was 6 weeks ago. Then we found out our couch wouldn’t arrive until March 2021 if at all due to Covid. We decided to go into Ashley on a whim. Semsudin approached us and was very honest with the furniture market. Instead of saying “ sorry nothing we can do”. He did some research on the couch we were looking for. In a bit of awesome luck he had the same couch, color and chase direction we were exactly looking for. We called Home right then and there and canceled and bought through Semsudin. I think he was just as amazed as we were. Awesome buying experience in this weird time we are living in. Semsudin was excellent in customer service and honesty right away. We will definitely be going back for future furniture.
If i could give 0 stars i would absolute worst customer service EVER the call center is a joke...got scheduled for delivery on a monday called them monday because i had not received a call for drop off times and they find my delivery but tell me it should not have been scheduled on a monday due to them only doing mattress on mondays...then proceeds to tell me its not there problem or fault. And now we will be without furniture even longer or at all if this does not get resolved!
First purchase here. Buying experience was OK. Driving around back to wait 2 hours for 5 cars with loading 5 bays for a twin mattress was rediculous.

We came to the Fridley location searching for a desk this Labor Day weekend. Gilbert was so helpful in quickly answering our questions and doing an inventory search. In less than 5 minutes we had all our questions answered.

I’m not returning over there as a customer.my family be sitting on the floor for 6week waiting for new living room set then they brought me some ugly color that I didn’t purchase on delivery date. No one seems to help when I called costumer service then I’ve been put on hold for 44 minutes when I called the store then told after that they will call me back which they never did. I had to go to the store myself then was told i won’t get what I paid over $1600 for until late in November and that will be close to 4months from the purchase day. Who do business like Ashley? And the other option is to have another couch send to me I don’t know when ( he will figure out the next day) I don’t recommend this place to anyone to go get their furniture.you will get screwed like me. I’m so upset.

We bought a couch from here. We were told it would 2-3 weeks to get it. Said they would call to schedule a delivery time. A month later still no call, no email. Had to call and see what is going on. Than they said it will be 4-8 weeks out still. So we canceled our order. Said it would be 3-4 business days to get our refund. Guess what.. 10 days go by and no refund. We had to go into the store physically and get our ordered canceled. Hopefully we get our money back this time. I would never shop here again. Poor sales, and bad communication. Seems like there trying to pull one over on people.

I had bedroom furniture delivered about 5 weeks ago and when they brought it into my house they took a chunk of my wall out. The furniture had marks all over it, scratches pieces of wood missing. Then when I went to open one of the drawers the track fell. It wasn't put in correctly. I called there and they stated just keep the furniture and they would reorder new items, which wouldn't be available fir over a month. So today I was supposed to get my furniture and the delivery time frame was between 10:00am and 1:00pm. I called them and asked whats the hold up, the oerson put me on jold for 8 minutes, then stated to me they are running behind and your the last delivery. You would think since I already had a bad experience with them that they would have my furniture delivered first , but no I'm last and now have to wait an extra 30 minutes. With bad experiences I have had with my livingroom furniture and now my bedroom furniture, I will be shopping somewhere else in the future for any other purchases that I make fir my home. They have no respect for yheir customers and don't even try to help with the situation in any way. Or even try to satisfy a customer in some way to make up for their mistakes. Don't shop at Ashley furniture it's not worth the headache or dissatisfaction.
I have never written a review before. It unprofessional when the staff in the front is rude and unprofessional. The staff name is Ashley like the store. I ordered a lot of stuff, waiting for my children to come from vacation. I was moving to a new apartment, I was told I will receive the keys on July 3rd. I was called for delivery I explained my situation, I was told no problem it will be set for July 3rd, if I don't receive the keys in the time slot to call for next day delivery. The apartment was giving me the key at 10am, I called the delivery to inform them the time slot was not going to work, because it was between 8am to 11am. I asked for reschedule, I was told to wait another 5 days for delivery and dismissed me saying too bad that there no nothing they can do for me. As a loyal customer of Ashley I decided to get back my deposit and take my business elsewhere where I will be treated right. It is unfortunate that even no one reached out for inquirie. The respond below from the company, requested for me to provide info the will see what happened. No one reached out.
Completely pathetic experience. Delivery date was missed by two weeks, after weeks of calling the store , they "left my number" to management and you guessed it, weeks went by without a call. Their excuse? They were too busy selling couches that cant even be built until months later. Never shopping with any Ashley again. If you do, dont expect any delivery day remotely close to what they say.
This is the second time we've came back to this store. May I add the staff here is so wonderful and the store is always clean. Ray Miller was the sales associate who helped me and my husband. He even took his time in helping us find the couch we wanted. Great experience and we will be back soon.

So impressed by the customer service at Ashley Furniture! My daughter special ordered a couch there was miscommunication with the order, so the finished product was not what she expected. The manager Ray Miller was AWESOME! He apologized a zillion times and agreed to replace, repair, refund, store credit or money back!! My daughter exchanged very long couch for a dining room table!! The furniture at Ashley Furniture is beautiful but what will keep me as a customer is the customer service! The warm atmosphere, the smiles, the helpfulness, the willingness to make the customer happy is so part of this Ashley Furniture! Again the manager Ray Miller is really great! He should do seminars on customer service 😀! Really a wonderful experience at Ashley Furniture! Thank you Ray Miller!!😊
Furniture looks nice! However, they delivered the wrong furniture, one was broken, and when I called for them to rectify it, they were so rude and not accommodating. I will recommend going over the receipt step by step and ask for what their plans are If they deliver defective furniture.
I'm upset with my furniture delayed delivery, this Covid-19 and somewhat lack of customer service has ruined the excitement and experience.
After ordering a large sectional, the driver showed up alone and refused to honor the "Free In Home" delivery. After attempting to contact the store and leaving messages, which were not returned, he called his boss and the boss said they couldn't comply because he was alone, which wasn't our problem. They also threatened to take the furniture that we purchased away. This was a very unprofessional experience and we have no plans to order from Ashley again. We only wanted what they promised in their policies.
Customer Care is terrible. When they want to sell something they are there for you right away. When you have an issue you can&'t get any service. Been on hold over an hour
(review edited on 2/10/22) We ordered a new sectional in beginning of Sept 2021. We were told that we could expect it by early Nov 2021. Feb. 2022 rolls around and it just got delivered. Of course it was not the sectional we ordered. We had ordered a full power one and were delivered a manual one. Called Ashley and we are told its their error, but its not in stock so the replacement will have to be reordered. So I imagine with the shipping problems of the last 2 years we will go another 5 months waiting on it. That makes our wait time almost a year to get our new sectional from them. I understand shipping problems now a days, but to not be honest with the original delivery, date, them sending the wrong thing after 5 months I doubt we will be a future customer anymore. We had bought many items from them and the last 2 times were not satisfactory. The other order on a bedroom set we also had to wait for items to come in after part of it was here.
Tyler Boshart has been by far the best salesperson I've met. He went out of the way to help me pick out furniture pieces for my new place and even gave great recommendations on things that the store didn't carry. And I know for a fact that he's a great person because I came in telling him I would buy the furniture online later so he would get no commission out of that sale anyway. The store is also nice, has a great deal to choose from.
Can only go 3 stars on this visit. Don't like being bombarded the minute we walked in. Need to have a different approach. But love the chair we bought

I will never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again. Their customer service is AWFUL! I bought a sectional couch in July and the chase cushion zipper broke/all stuffing was coming out. I called Dec 5th to order a replacement cushion. First I was excited to find out it was still under warranty and they would replace the cushion for free. I get a call from Ashley verifying I received a the cushion, um no! The reply, "Sorry mam we accidentally shipped it to our Iowa warehouse, we will ship it to their Fridley, MN location." Weeks pass I follow up to find out it's in Fridley. I drive 30 mins to pick it up, to find out it's nowhere to be found! Call customer service and they said they shipped 4 cushions to my house.....WHAT? A. I don't need 4 cushions, I need the chase lounge cushion. They customer service rep in parts says let me figure it out and I'll call you by the end of the day. That was last week. So as of today Feb. 20th my couch still doesn't have a cushion, no call from customer service and now my couch is ruined b/c I haven't had a proper cushion on the chase part of my couch for over 2 months. Still no resolution!!!!!

I bought a mattress in a box from them and had a 2" sink hole in the middle of it after a month! Took almost 2 weeks to get a call back and a matress tech sent to inspect it. Which I had to take time off work to accommodate to there hours...After the tech left I got a call back from customer service 5days later to say they would replace it. I had to rent a truck to bring the defective mattress back since it won't fit back in the box and in my car how I originally got it home and make sure it was wrapped because if there were any stains at all they wouldn't take it. I am so very disappointed that I had to go to all of this trouble for a mattress that was defective and the fault was on there end not mine. Somehow I'm left to feel like it's my problem with more problems on returning the damn thing when they really should have sent the tech with a new mattress and hauled out the bad one as soon as he decided it was defective that very day! Sorry Ashley but you could have done SO much better at keeping your customers happy and ill never recommend or buy anything from you again.

i loved the customer service in the actual store it’s self on the day i purchased a whole apartment worth of furniture. i was told my living room table and two end tables would arrive on 1/30. i asked multiple times are you sure it will be here by then because i move my daughter in on 2/1. i was guaranteed . i received no call this week and now i’m told by feb 13. i would have purchased a more expensive living room set to have it on time. this is unacceptable and customers should not be lied to for a sale. on delivery day with the other furniture the delivery men broke the cabinet i ordered now i’m told the middle of February also. they also said they couldn’t get the couch in the elevator but it is a sectional in multiple pieces. i’m extremely frustrated with the fridley location. when calling the person also laughed and said he has no idea call the sales guy if i have a problem. you have no problem selling the product and lie to get customers to buy. this is not ok.

We went to the Fridley Ashley looking for a mattress. The woman was very talkative and didn’t really listen to what we were looking for. We felt like we were prisoners to her script. She showed us many mattresses, including exactly what we said we didn’t want. We left there without a mattress, and we are very happy with our purchase from another store. We considered looking for living room furniture at Ashley, but our experience was so bad that we’ll look elsewhere.
Sales associate wasmt pushy or needy at all which I respect being in a similar industry. Worked with us in pricing and savings etc. If the sectional fits in my new space going to be a very happy buyer

So I was told I would get a call when my things come in, that never happened. When I called they were in, not sure when they came in I was told. I said I would pick them up on Friday. I asked what time they were open to pick the item up. The person told me store hours. I get there at 740pm and call the warehouse. Of course no one answered. I got in at 746 to the main entrance after renting a van and driving 35 mintues to be told they close at 745pm. Not once was I apologized to. Not only that but I waited on hold to talk to the manager. After 8 minutes I asked for a call back.....still waiting. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS ASHLEY!

I went to Ashley Furniture with a purchase in mind. I was greeted by Tom, (the short bald guy) as he described himself, which made the experience better, because we love doing business with people with a sense of humor. He was on-point and cut straight to the chase. He asked us what we are looking for and showed us different options. Even allowed us to think on the idea without feeling pressured. He informed us about financing and about the 30 day price match. I ended up spending twice as much because we didn’t want to settle for less and it was well worth every single dollar. Turns out, Tom is the Store Manager. And for good reason he is one. He definitely leads by example when it comes to demonstrating world-class service. We will definitely be back to shop for more! For some reason seller will not try to find you the best deal, they want you to pay full price for furniture even when the price is lower on their website.

I recently purchased a couch through Ashely Furniture and very am disappointed with the customer service that I received. I had the couch delivered to my apartment and upon delivery, the individuals carrying in the furniture knocked the light fixture off of the ceiling in the hallway of my apartment. The company delivering, Xpressmen, was contracted through Ashley Furniture. The men who work for this company are very unprofessional, did not acknowledge the incident of damaging the light, and were extremely difficult to work with. I then contacted Ashley Furniture in the hopes that they would intervene and help with the situation, however, they were not understanding whatsoever. It wasn't until the third person (and about 10 calls later) that I talked to an employee at Ashley Furniture who was respectful of the situation but still was for some reason unable to help with the ridiculous incident. This was a TWO month-long process of me trying to resolve the issue that I was not responsible for. In the end, my landlord replaced the light due to the impossible process of trying to get in contact with someone who would help and acknowledge the inconvenience that I was left to deal with. If you are in the market for new furniture I would highly urge you to search elsewhere, ESPECIALLY if the company delivering is Xpressmen Delivery. I am extremely frustrated with both of these companies and will never be offering my business to them again.
Being in the industry it takes a lot for me to write a positive review for a salesperson. But let me just say that Mercedes provided us an outstanding experience today. This was one of those times that I spent more than I was planning to, yet walked away 200% more confident in my purchase than I expected to be. Mercedes was warm, welcoming, friendly, and has a killer smile that sold us almost immediately. To top it off, we found the absolutely PERFECT couch to suit all of our needs and even all our wants - no compromising needed. But let’s be real here, the perfect couch was an added bonus. Meeting Mercedes was the real treat.
You’re better off going to an outlet store that sells their furniture for much, much cheaper. After spending over $1,000 (on sale, even) on a couch, you’d expect it to be in perfect condition when you bring it home and unbox it. Ours had many scuff areas, one of the cushions was formed weird, an area is showing some wood and after having it for a few months the cushions are already getting indents and we don’t even use it very much. A week after we bought it we saw it at an outlet retail store for $300 less and wish I would’ve gone that route. Also, paid extra for warranties but you have to bring the couch all the way to the store in order for them to fix THEIR mistake (pay extra for the warranty, plus have to use your vehicle, gas and time). Makes sense.... never will buy a couch from a box store like this again, it’s a shame they had to scare me away the first time.

Showed up at the Fridley MN store to show work ID to be told no you did not call us, we would never say yes! Explaining to the associate M several times we called Ashley furniture she denied honoring the discount and when we requested a manager she gave his (Tom S) card and said “there’s the door you can leave!! I initially went to furniture mart and was never even approached then entire time I was there and then I walked over to Ashley furniture where I felt like I mattered right away Tom Smaby greeted me and took care of me from the start. I told him what I wanted and found something I liked and also customized my couch. He was fantastic and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone!
My experience with the quality of their products, as well as customer service, is honestly horrific. Run far away. Bring your money to a company that sells products they can stand behind. Review their return policy. My $2,000 couch is so awful looking at less than a year old. First signs of wear after 3 weeks. Unacceptable.

Worst experience, as consumers, we have ever had. Spent nearly $4k on July 4, took over 9 weeks to get what we ordered. Several mistakes (told couch was available in direction we wanted but wasn't and had to go pick out a different one, ordered wrong direction, damaged chair, items not on second delivery and store manager would not respond to messages), empty promises, and straight BS. Escalated to corporate only to receive same generic emails, twice, telling us to call an 800 number where they had no idea why I would call them. Was told "we would be compensated for our inconveniences AFTER it was delivered (I almost believed that). Avoid this place like the plague!!
I don&'t know what happened to this store in 11 years, but to say it&'s gone downhill would be a major understatement. We had a housefire in 2007 and had to replace all of our furniture. Because of the trauma of that, we were in no condition to go shopping but decided to do it all in one place to make it easier. And it was. Had a great Salesperson as Ashley who made everything easy. He helped us with every thing and in less than a month after moving in to our new home, we were done with everything furniture related. All furniture was in great condition and we still have some of it to this day. Some people told us to go to a place with better quality since the insurance company was paying for it. But we were happy with all items we purchased.Fast forward to May, 2018, after a move, we needed to buy a second couch and coffee table. The couch we bought was chosen for it&'s smaller size and it&'s basically a piece of crap. Makes a squeaking noise when it&'s sat on, the fabric has stretched out so it always looks like an unmade bed. The back cushions have not held their shape. The accent pillows that came with it are all pilly and look like they came from Walmart. Yes it was a cheaper model, but a year after getting it, it does not look great. And it&'s only 4 adults in our home, 2 of which spend most of their time in their own livingroom downstairs. No kids to blame it on.When I ordered the couch, I also ordered a coffee table which did not come in for 3 months and I heard nothing from Ashley. Not a word. I called and my Saleperson said she would get it delivered ASAP. Another 3 weeks went by, still nothing. Called again, left message, never got a call back. So I went in and spoke with a &"Manager&". He looked into the situation and claimed he&'d have the table sent with 5 days. And he did. Except it was the wrong table. At that point I said never mind and just got an oversized ottoman instead. Then there was a billing mix-up because of the return. My daughter was shocked I let this go on as long as I did as it&'s out of my nature to not call people out on their lack of responsibility. I guess I didn&'t care as it was a coffee table, not a couch or chair. Then because I&'m a glutton for punishment apparently, I went to buy a new mattress 8 months ago. I picked a very nice, expensive one ($2,200). The charge wouldn&'t go thru on my Ashley Advantage card which didn&'t make sense because I had a $3,000 line, with only $200 spent at that point. So I walked away without buying the mattress. Went to HOM furniture and opened a credit line and bought it there. Fast forward a few months and went to buy a Twin Size bed. Thought I&'d check into my accout since I didn&'t after my other bed purchase wouldn&'t go thru. That&'s when I saw a &"hold&" purchase of $2,200 on my Ashley card. It wasn&'t a purchase, but it was pending. And it must have been for months and months. I called the store and told them to remove it immediately. A friend of mine who works in retail said they probably did that to show a false sale to make their Sales numbers look better.Ashley, has become the dollar store of the furniture world it would seem. And it&'s sad because after buying $12,000 worth of furniture on 2007, I never would have believed it. Buyer beware and be your own advocate if you DO decide to purchase here....

***I&'ve never had any issues with the furniture I purchase from this location***But I&'m very disappointed in my last visit. Me and my sister came to pick up a couple pieces and we were waiting longer than usual, until saoul came out with our things, didn&'t greet us but he asked us if we could help him load our car! That&'s his job! We didn&'t help and he started being very rude!! Every time I come uphere he&'s either in the office talking to the lady that sits at the desk ignoring customers or being rude to someone! If it wasn&'t for the lead I believe his name is verik you guys would have lost some loyal customers!! Please do better I don&'t want to have to travel to another store when this one is close to home just because of an employee!**update**Nothing&'s changed! Bought furniture for 4 rooms after 2 delivery still don't have everything, 5 weeks later 2 delivery fee. One of my items didn't make the transfer, had to call the store, the sales person said they didn't know, called back to weeks later and was told my item was in but a couple others were on back order, scheduled my delivery and my items never made it, once again no one ever called to tell me again, called to complain and no one seemed to care, paid all in cash so they already got there 💰 they have zero customer service after the sale is done Gets even better, got 50 off in the mail, went in to use it and told I couldn't cause it's already a sales item, everything in the store is always on sale, false advertising and misleading, too many false promises made, never gonna do business there again
I have had the worst experience at the Fridley location. I was told one of my item bought would be delivered. I tried calling customer service for status and was transferred all over, when someone finally picked up they couldn’t help me. Referred me to the salesperson and now I have to call back only to have the phone ring forever with no one picking up. No one can help me!!! This is the most horrible customer service I have ever had.
Very disappointing customer service and management. They refused to honor their 110% advertised price guarantee. Corrected the issue at another store.
We had a whole snafoo at the store next door, and we decided to try this store instead. We were immediately greeted by Ruben, who was extremely nice and helpful. He sorted everything out for us and didn't complain even though we were really demanding and kind of drove him crazy. I highly recommend, ask for Ruben!!
My experience was amazing! So simple and easy. Walked in and Ruben greeted us right away. He asked what we were looking for and right away he showed us sofas and knew excatly what we were looking for. Even to make me sure of my choice Ruben showed us other options in the style I really didn't want. He was right on the totals and gave me multiple options. I would highly recommend working with Ruben! Definitely a happy customer and will return with my furniture needs!
Really disappointed with the delivery process. Was told we'd have our furniture in about a week and would receive a call in that time to set up a delivery window. 10 days later and never received a call so called them and they told me it would be another week before it would be delivered.
I’ve been attempting to find a good Furniture store to furnish my new home and after many attempts to purchase furniture I finally found my store. Was greeted by Tom Smaby and it all started, he asked me questions made great suggestions gave me many options to create my dream space. Thank you Tom for being so professional, funny and just great.. I will mention Tom to friends and family for sure. What a great experience...

We bought our sectional on 7/5 with an estimate of 7/19 as our delivery date. The salesperson warned us right away that it wouldn't be in by the 19th but the estimate was about 3-4 weeks. He then said he would call us the following Wednesday with a more updated delivery date. Wednesday came and went and he never called us. When we called him, he wasn't there and we had to wait for him to call us back. We called again and he said there wasn't an estimated time yet and he would call us back in a week. Another week goes by and he doesn't call us AGAIN. We call back and he has the nerve to say, "he is pretty sure he called us" and then went on to tell us there was a shipment of our couch coming in that day and to call him back tomorrow. We call back and IT'S THE WRONG COLOR. He then asks me if I want to cancel the order. (NO Gilbert, I don't want to cancel, I want my freaking Sectional). Anyway, I tell him we're going out of town and that my husband will call him back. Josh calls back the next day and it's no longer "the wrong color", but "only half our sectional has arrived and he doesn't know when the other half will come". We go out of town and, of course, our sectional arrives. But because we have to wait to schedule a delivery we will not get our couch until 8/22. This is 2019 so, A: Phones have records of when you call, so don't say you called when you didn't, just admit you forgot about us. B: We have the ability to track anything shipped around the US. Maybe implement this "NEW" technology when promising furniture C: Don't sell a couch with an expected date a Month before you're actually going to be able to deliver it.
We were lucky enough to be guided to the perfect sectional by Tom Smaby. He knew exactly what we wanted and found it for us right away. He also pointed us to a killer deal on Adirondack chairs- we couldn’t pass them up for our cabin. Additionally, he is super nice and fun and made everything feel so easy. We will definitely be back to shop with Tom again!

***I've never had any issues with the furniture I purchase from this location*** But I'm very disappointed in my last visit. Me and my sister came to pick up a couple pieces and we were waiting longer than usual, until saoul came out with our things, didn't greet us but he asked us if we could help him load our car! That's his job! We didn't help and he started being very rude!! Every time I come here he's either in the office talking to the lady that sits at the desk ignoring customers or being rude to someone! If it wasn't for the lead I (believe his name is verik) you guys would have lost some loyal customers!! Please do better I don't want to have to travel to another store when this one is close to home just because of an employee!

Wouldn&'t waste your time here. Bought a couch which we loved. Thought it would be good quality as we spent over $1,000 on it. Tried pulling off the zippered fabric to wash the couch material (advertised that is it able to do so) and found half the cushions didn&'t have a pillow but were stuffed at random and half in stuck to the material. Called customer care to tell them we have a defected couch only to have them take down info and not get back to me for over a month. Month later I call and they&'re like oh ya, let&'s schedule a tech. They tell me his hours are 8-5. I tell them thats my working hours but could leave early so any afternoon would work. Get a text he&'s coming 8am-10am, call them to say no one will be home at that time and to schedule me any afternoon and I end up getting a text back with the exact same time again. They&'re other options for me where having anyone over 18 let them in ( I don&'t have anyone over 18, it&'s just me and my husband) or leaving my door open so a complete stranger can waltz in and fix my couch ( are they crazy?!) I don&'t understand why they can&'t schedule me in the afternoon at any day that&'s available for them when that&'s the techs hours. How is he determining that a customer needs to skip a day of work because that&'s the only time he cares to drive out 15 miles from the store. Way to care for your clients Ashley HomeStore. Way to go.
Tom Smaby, the store manager, was super helpful and patient with me, while I spent over an hour trying different mattresses to find one that was the perfect fit for me! I decided on a great Sealy and Tom was able to set up delivery for the NEXT day, which was amazing! Thanks so much Tom!

After disappointing searches for a recliner online and at other local furniture stores, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and prices at Ashley in Fridley, and even more so by the excellent service. I was greeted at the door by Tom Smaby, who was friendly and knowledgeable without ever being even a slight bit pushy or hovering! I was given plenty of time to look at everything at my own pace and got answers my questions when I was ready. The whole process was very smooth. After getting home, I realized there was a slight issue with the delivery arrangements and emailed Tom. He replied within minutes and took care of everything immediately. Tom is the first person I’ll look for the next time I’m in the market to buy a piece of furniture. Awesome job, Tom!! Keep up the good work!
Great team service. Leeann was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to finding the right mattress for my girls. She helped me find the better quality at a better price than what I was looking at. Tom was super helpful and willing to go the extra steps to help me find a great bedroom set that fit my budget and that my girls wanted. Nez was also a great help and a friendly face to see on several visits to the store. All in all I got great service.
No service! We were looking for an entertainment center which were dispersed through the store. Not one salesperson offered assistance in the 25 mn we were there. Mid day, mid week and not many customers. It was disappointing.

Ruben was phenomenal from the second we got there. We walked in, he greeted us, shook our hands and immediately helped out. We were upfront with a tough budget, tough size needs and he was great. He didn’t try pushing ones completely out of range, the wrong size etc.
This review is ONLY for the great customer service we received from Rueben Vargas, the sales consultant we lucked out getting when we walked in the door at the Fridley Homestore. He greeted us, told us about the current sale at that time (40% off!!!!) then directed us in the right direction at this huge store. Rueben did not hover but did check on us a couple times and responded quickly when we waved him down. He expertly answered our questions and looked up information to answer any quirky questions we asked (and we had a few). We did end up purchasing new living room furniture which we have scheduled to be delivered May 1. We could have had the furniture delivered much sooner but we are having new carpet installed and that can't be done until April 30. Since our initial visit to the store, Rueben has been in contact with us 2-3 times on the phone just to make sure everything is on track for us, check if we have any more questions and keep us updated. I have been searching for months for just the right furniture. When I spotted the furniture that we ended up ordering, I knew it was exactly what I wanted especially after getting the rundown of the quality and wearability from Reuben. We currently have living room furniture from Ashley that was purchased at least 15 years ago. It has held up extremely well and the only reason we are letting it go is because we (well, ok "I") want a new look. We anticipate our new furniture will wear just as well and we don't expect any problems with delivery. But, again, this review is ONLY about the great customer service provided by Rueben!!! I was here a few years ago and purchased a dining room set with Vinny, AKA "my cousin Vinny". My husband and I came back and were SO HAPPY that Vinny was still there!!! He was just as friendly as when we had gone in before, and helped us with a new bedroom set!!! I went to the Ashley Furniture Homestore located in Fridley, MN about a month ago looking at options for new furniture to place in our new home. We went in thinking we would be spending way more than we wanted to. However this was not the case... I met one of the most genuine and honest sales representatives ever. His name was Vincent Frank! We were looking for 2 sectionals, a bed and some dressers. We explained to him what we were looking for as far as style and most importantly durability. He was able to show us in-store models and discussed options for each one. If he didn't have the answer for us... he would find out. My experience with Vincent was awesome. I have shopped at bunch of furniture stores in the Twin Cities and with out a doubt hands down this was the best experience I have ever had. Mina was a dream! We felt welcomed and supported by her throughout our first couch buying venture. She gave us the best combination of guidance and availability as well as space for us to browse and process. She helped us to customize our order to fit our needs and we were able to price match for our online offer!
Mercedes was amazing to work with, however when my couch arrived at my home the delivery guys said no more then 10 words to me (which gave me the feeling and impression they are not friendly) did not put down runners or anything to protect my carpet from their wet shoes and they just set everything in the living room had me sign and left. I was left to put it in place, unbag all the cushions and pillows and now to dispose of all the plastic that everything came in.

I have purchased furniture from Ashley multiple times. Ashley furniture items are not made to last a lifetime. People who expect this will be disappointed. However, their pieces will hold up for a handful of years. I’ve had a couch set from them for almost 7 years now. The couch frame is broken in two places but it’s still functional. I plan to replace in the next couple years.
