Always shopped here my whole life, until this man named Massad ( something like that) was working. I've run into him twice their, and he just stands around and talks to workers and when you walk in he acts like hes mad because a customer came in and now he had to work. Very rude, lazy man. I will never step a foot back here again, ALL he did was stand their with another blond girl and look like he was flirting, and how dare some one walk in and interrupt his flirting. He needs to fired! That place is not the same with the workers they got their now!

Me and my Dad were in here today looking around at furniture at around 3:00,not 1 person who works there even came to ask if we needed help while we were there and it was not even busy,then as we approached the front of the store there was an employee sitting on a recliner and when he saw us asked if we had been helped ! He did not even stand up or ask us if he could help us find anything,then as we walked out he was still sitting in the same recliner and did not even say thanks for stopping or have a nice day ! Very bad customer service if he worked for me I would show him the door !

I went to Ashley this afternoon to get a lift chair for one of my individuals. What's cool about Ashley is because the chair is needed for medical reasons, they didn't charge tax. Amy Zimmerman was the salesperson, and she did an awesome job! So, if anyone needs a lift chair for their individuals, go to Ashley next to Aldi!

Came in looking to just test out some purple pillows before deciding if we really wanted to buy one, Amy helped us decide on getting two and got us a great deal on them.

First sales person was very friendly. Second person was friendly apologize for being late told me that the bed would be put aside for me that day so that way the next morning when I came to pick it up, it would be ready. Sales person told me the best time was right when they opened to pick it up. Next day go to pick up the bed called several times once to let them know I was there. They told me to go to the back. They told me somebody would be back there to help load. Second time I called I asked if somebody was coming back because I was still waiting. Was told the worker should be in the back. Finally was met with the sales person that opened the back door. He asked me if I could go run errands while he found the bed even though I had told him I was already waiting for 20 minutes and that the sales person agreed at 10 o’clock would work. He had an earbud in one ear and kept cutting me off. I finally said if this is too much of a hassle, I can return the bed. He then proceeded to get another coworker in which I had to call the store again to see if a worker was coming to the back. The individual that I made my transaction with proceeded to also have a bit of an attitude after I had to say twice I will return the bed It’s no problem if it’s an issue for you guys. She then went on a story to tell me that the individual that’s supposed to be working in the warehouse is also late. In my opinion, this company, lacks professionalism, communication and respect for customers will not be shopping with Ashley’s again.

Amazing helping pick a new couch

Went to purchase a Love Seat that was labeled “In Stock” on Black Friday (11/29/2024). Had good customer service in-store, we were told it would take two weeks to arrive at store for us to pick-up. All was good until, After two plus weeks we contacted them for status on our Love Seat and we were told it was a “Special order” and would arrive in an additional couple of weeks. Again, It was not a special order, we were told it was in stock. It is now 43 days after ordered date, called to get another updated status and told us it was going to be another two weeks and they had no good reason for this delay and that our salesperson would give us a call back with a better explanation, which never happened. I am not impressed with the pushback of arrival and lack of communication with a valid reasoning.

Lynn was great! Shopping for a bed for my father in-law in Arizona. Lynn showed us the beds in the showroom in Mankato, she called Ashley near my father in-law and got a name and number to contact. She printed out pictures, ordering numbers making ordering on phone with the store in Arizona smoothly. This was a wonderful day of furniture shopping. We went in thinking we knew what we wanted, however after seeing what we picked out online, it was not up to our expectations. Our consultant was very understanding of our disappointment and patiently showed us other options. We found a set we absolutely loved, better quality, and in the wood color we originally wanted. We also purchased a new mattress for the set as well. The understanding, knowledge, and patience of our consultant, Lynn, was outstanding. We will be back for future furniture purchases.

Purchased a new king mattress, baseboard and mattress protector and I couldn't be happier. The entire experience was effortless from picking out the items, purchasing them, and having it all delivered. Matt was my consultant and honestly, he is one of the main reasons that I ended up making the purchase. Initially, I just came in to only browse the mattresses, but hadn't actually planned on buying anything. I really thought I was going to have pushy sales people following me around as I walked through the store. But after talking with Matt, he was so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive -without being too pushy, that I felt really at ease with him and about making a purchase. Because my biggest pet peeve is pushy sales people. So if Matt had been pushy, I would've just walked out without buying anything. But thankfully, he was quite the opposite and I now have a great mattress.

We worked with Matt for our outdoor patio furniture purchase and he was very helpful and friendly; however, we were quoted at $1500 and then went to checkout and suddenly the price changed to $2100. The store manager was unwilling to honor the original quote or even give any discount and claimed we were still getting a “great deal”, even though it was $600 over the quoted price. He claimed we were still getting the chairs for 50% off, which was not the case as we were able to check online pricing. We left frustrated, to say the least, and likely will not be returning

I wanted to look at merchandise online. In order to "❤️" an item I have to log in. I don't want to log into a website to simply look at their mattresses. I wanted to submit a suggestion but you can only contact through a phone call or making an appointment, no email. I'm going to skip buying my mattress here because the site is hard to navigate & I don't want to waste time going into the store if they don't have what I want.

When the mattress wouldn't arrive in time by normal delivery means Tim Vollmer went over and above the call of duty by driving to Fridley, picking the mattress and (free) pillows up, and personally delivering them to my house. Product quality of what they sell is less then subpar. Every product we have bought from them (3 couches and 2 recliners) has had some issue within 1-2 years and we were never able to get anything covered. Don’t ever think of wasting your money on the Guardian extra protection they sell either, because it’s a scam! They will find any reason to not cover you.

We went to Ashley first because it was closest, and we dealt with Jayme. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, not too pushy, and was able to help us determine what was best for us. Ultimately we ended up looking at a couple other places and calling around finding the lowest prices for the furniture we wanted. We called Jayme to see whatbsort of price matching she could offer because she was by far the best sales representative we had dealt with all day, and she was able to match the lowest prices we found with delivery as well. My family has been getting furniture from Ashley since before they moved into the store they are in now. Went in the other week to purchase our son’s 1st “big boy bed” and a new kitchen table and chairs. Tim and Brian did a great job taking care of us. We had a mattress that was under warranty and our account was credited. We went in and purchased a new mattress. Tim told us because of COVID we would be able to keep our old one. Because of what Tim said, I went out and purchased a new bedroom set for the spare room only to have them take our old mattress upon delivering the new one. When I called and spoke to Tim he said that it wasn't on the paperwork and they shouldn't have taken it. I also asked Tim where my $200 gift card was since it had been almost 2 months. Ultimately he said it was taking longer than usual to get due to COVID. Then I spoke to the store manager regarding my mattress and he told me due to warranty they must take it and wouldn't make it right regardless of what Tim said. Fast forward 2 more months and I still didn't get my $200 gift card. Spoke to Tim once again and he forgot to key it in during our purchase!! So Tim lied to me the first time and again nothing was done to make the situation right. Finally received the gift card 5 months after my purchase only to have to purchase another mattress because they are LIARS!! They will do whatever it takes to make a sale and not make things right WHEN CAUGHT IN A LIE!!

Brian Nichols is an absolute rockstar! Going furniture shopping to us is almost like going to the dentist to get your teeth pulled. Brain made the experience amazing! Very easy going. I went to purchase a power recliner and I bought a power lift chair with heat and massage for about the same price. Extra savings on lift chairs that are considered medical devices so there is no sales tax in Minnesota. Very friendly sales staff

Great Experience buying a new mattress! Our sales associate was Chris Maxa (store manager) and I HIGHLY recommend him! He helped us find what we liked right away and gave us time and space to try out different mattresses. He wasn't pushy at all, very informative and knowledgeable. My sister doesn't do reviews however I was with her when she spoke with Chris regarding what else? Delivery of furniture. Furniture that's paid for and said to be delivered at a certain time. Yes things happen times change that is bound to happen however it was over two months longer than originally expected and Chris was rude and condescending. Belittled her and made no apologies and said two bad seven day return policy so basically nothing she could do about it so wasn't his problem and he didn't care. No communication no empathy just rudeness. They say customer is always right however working in customer service we all know that isn't true however this situation was beyond unprofessional. She was hung up on and treated horribly after spending over $6,000. Honesty on delivery times and communication on any problems that may arise could've prevented this situation.

Delivery man wasn't very friendly. Uncomfo to be around. My recliner couch however is great. Great product!

I had such a runaround when ordering my couch at Ashley Furniture in Mankato MN. It was on back order which I was clearly aware of. My salesman Nasser never once reached out to me on the status of my order. Whenever I called, I could clearly hear the frustration in his voice along with some of the other associates I had dealt with. After waiting past my estimated time of delivery, I still had no idea as to when I would ever get my couch. I now can't work with my original sales man being he only offered to cancel my order or wait some more. I'm so disappointed at the lack of empathy, it only added frustration on the customers end of things. Perhaps in the future, it would be more pleasant to at least be upfront and honest with their customers on the delivery time or offer some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. None of which were offered to me. Very dissatisfied. And still couch-less.

We definately recommend and always shop Ashley when looking for furniture. Love the items we have purchased and the quality. Most of all, we appreciate the sales people who are professional and not pushy! Recently worked with Jen who was very helpful and fun to work with. The furniture is great but the sales people are the reason we keep coming back.

About a month ago we ordered a complete bedroom set (headboard/footboard/frame, two dressers, and two nightstands) bed/boxspring, and entertainment center. Nasser sold us the furniture and we were very happy with this side of things. He price matched to Ashley's online prices and was overall helpful and kind. We ordered the mattress through Tim and were initially happy. Everything was set to be delivered at the same time. Delivery day came and no bed/boxspring. When we called, Tim said "It slipped through the cracks" but would be delivered in a few days. A "few days" turned into maybe 3 weeks (now well over a month after the initial order). He didn't seem to care about the situation and didn't really have an excuse for it. We cancelled and bought from someone else. Not sure if we'd return.

Was debating between one or 2 stars but decided to go with 2 because some of the experience was good. We worked with Nasser to buy a bedroom set and an entertainment center. He was awesome with online price matching and overall was a great salesman. The trouble starts when we got the mattress from Tim. We went with them to get everything at the same time. The day comes and everything is delivered...except the mattress. We call and they say we "slipped through the cracks". The mattress would be coming almost a month later. Tim was unwilling to work with us at all and didn't seem to care. We decided to go with someone else for a mattress and will not be going back to Ashley for anything in the future.

A few days ago, we went all over town looking for a new bed. We walked into Ashley and loved the experience from the start. Tim V is such a great person and salesman. He totally made the experience for us. The other stores had salesmen that wouldn't leave you alone and they were overbearing. Not Tim....he was always there when we had questions, but then went away to let us do our thing. Perfect!!! We just went back tonight and bought our new bed and adjustable base from Tim V! Thank you so much Tim!!!

I went to this particular Ashley Homestore a few weeks ago. I had found some really beautiful furniture on their website in an amazing Blue color. So my mother and I went into the store and we're greeted by Nasser Elsadik. He was extremely friends and eager to help us find exactly what I wanted. He showed us a few different pieces before I showed him what I'd found online. They didn't have the particular color I wanted in the store but they had the piece in another color so Nasser showed it to us and asked us if it was the right piece. I was elated!!! It was so nice and comfy, I'm pretty tall so I have an issue finding furniture that is just the right height for me without feeling like I'm sitting on the floor. But this particular piece was perfect. Nasser then showed us a few more pieces that got my Mom's interested. When it came time for us to check out everything went smoothly, I had a 10% off coupon that'd is gotten to my email but since my furniture was a "Hot Buy" I wasn't able to use it, but my mom got to use it so it was okay. Nasser made everything so easy on our visit and since then has kept in contact about Dates and Times of Delivery. He was an Absolute God Sent, the rest of the staff were also extremely friendly and even made small talk about current events in the news. Thank you So Much Nasser for all your help. If I decide to buy more furniture you'll be the first to know!!!!

Overpriced furniture for what you get. We were checking out nightstands for the kids' rooms, so we didn't need anything fancy. However, I couldn't bring myself to spend $200 (cheapest we could find) for an obviously cheap nightstand. I bought some on wayfair afterwards, and didn't even spend $200 each. In Ashley, I would have had to pay $500+ to get ones that nice. Look elsewhere.

This place was wonderful to shop in! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and Carolyn helped us with every question we had, helped us find what we were looking for, and calculated the prices for us. She saved us time and made us feel that our furniture pieces were well-purchased and made us feel welcome! She deserves more praise for the amount of service she provides, we love the commitment she gives to her store. We will definitely recommend this place for sure!

I really do want to give this place more stars but unfortunately I can’t. The employees were very nice and helpful. However, I was told my couch would arrive within two weeks and I’m going into Week 6...and no couch. I get back orders are tricky but it’s very disappointing considering I paid good money for what I bought and nothing to show. Also I had to call the first two times before I got a call on Week 4 that It would be two more weeks to receive my couch. I recommend the store act more diligently in keeping up to their word when furniture is on back order or not-if I knew it would take this long I would have chosen something else. I still need more furniture but my current thoughts are to check other places.

Very nice place, and good people who know there stuff. Came in, told em what we were looking for, and were escorted to the options they had. Very knowledgable and attentive salesman. I had never been here before but I was one if the best exp I've had especially in such and online age. The labor day sale price was just an added bonus.

I am honestly disappointed in myself that this was my last stop at a furniture store in Mankato, because it should have been my first. The two other places my fiance and I went, we were pushed into sectionals they were trying to sell. I have to say i was a bit impatient when we walked into Ashley as it was the third place we'd been to that day already, but Chris knew EXACTLY what we were looking for and had us in and out with a steal of a deal on a custom sectional in an hour. We will absolutely be returning here for future purchases. Thank you so much!!

Also, the salesman, Kyle R., who assisted us was helpful and not in the least bit overbearing, which is so often the case when shopping for furniture. I had a warranty claim for torn fabric on a barstool. They were EXCELLENT! Nobody questioned me unnecessarily and the process was so simple. The young man in the warehouse named David was very helpful and polite. It was undoubtedly 5 star service!!

Manager, Chris @ the Mankato, MN store was the best! This was my 3rd and last stop to find a sofa chaise and I did it in minutes with his help. Funny, Kind and most importantly, knowledgeable! It is not the first time to buy furniture there, but the first from Chris, and I doubt I'll go anywhere else again.

I had a bad experience with a delivery crew, and Chris did everything to make it right, along with the the main company. I had some minor damage done to the products and my home. Buyers beware. I have spent well over $6,000.00 at this location. I purchased a leather sectional and a dining set with warranties, to where I was assured that it was a smart purchase. In the long run my warranty was a glorified cleaning kit. My sectional took some damaged from a pet that was visiting and then latter to some minor damage in a move. I called the warranty company to make a claim, to be treated the worst I have ever been treated. They stated anytime the furniture moves it is not covered, and the animal damage was not covered since it was moved. They kept throwing policy very rudely in my face. Eventually, since I would not get off the phone until it was resolved, they stated they are cancelling my warranty and disconnected the call. Further on I called the Mankato store and they empathize with me and stated that they would have some one call me back. One year latter no call. My experience in this store was very terrible and it seems as soon as the sale is done and the commission was made you are no longer an importance to them.

Tim is very nice and informative. He showed us what works and helps. Sold us a nice Sterns & Foster. We sleep much better now and had for three days. Tim is a super down earth person.

Eric introduced himself when we walked in the store, and he allowed us the space we needed to browse Ashley HomeStore's massive showroom. In 10-minutes, we found the perfect matching pair of side tables on sale and at an unbeatable price. Superb craftsmanship, solid pieces, will last for decades. Eric sold us the floor samples that we picked up the very next morning. Thank you, Eric! My parents love the end tables. 5-star experience.

I went to Ashley to get a new bed for myself.Mike is a customer of mine at a gas station so decided to give the store a go. From the time I walked in the store I felt welcomed and taken care of . Mike took me to the bed department and answered all my questions and helped me decide which bed was right for me.I didn't feel pressured or pressed to get the bed or other items I purchased. I was treated with respect and kindness although I was all over the store going from one area to the next like someone who couldn't make up her mind. I would give the experience a 5 Star rating and Mike the same rating for his patients and knowledge. Thanks Mike Arndt love love my bed !

I haven't received my furniture yet but it will be delivered on February 8th. But just thought I'd write about my shopping experience. Well what can I say, it was pretty great. Mr. Eric Pierson aka " Mr. Bald Guy ", was wonderful. I had been in a couple weeks prior just window shopping and showed interest in living room set, he remembered me & the set. But little did he know my list had grown, I needed tables to go with the furniture(and i had a list of like 6 different sets), I wanted a bedroom set for my daughter, he helped me find exactly what she wanted, & then finally I wanted a new mattress for my bed. I had poor Mr. Eric Pierson running all over that day & he was happy to do so. All said & done , couple hours later, a few laughs, I left with a smile on my face, a very happy customer.

Purchased a lift chair for a person in need from our congregation. It was to be a gift from another member who had heard that the recipient was in need of a chair but could not afford a new one. Looked at several places and found out the different prices that the various places wanted. Went online and found out that Ashley had the chairs as well. The price off of the internet was much below what the list price was in the store but was told by the sales person that the internet price would be honored. When I told that it was purchased for a medical reason the sales tax as well was exempted from the purchase. The chair will be delivered next week and looking forward to being there to see how pleased everyone is.

Sales associate was extremely nice, and helpful when it came to making our purchase. We special ordered items during the first week of November knowing that they would arrive around the week of Thanksgiving and were fine with it. When they finally called to tell us that our furniture had arrived, I was rudely told that it was first come first serve and that it would take longer because of all the purchases made on Back Friday. Now we have to wait for an extended period of time for delivery because priority was given to those who purchased their items only 5 days ago versus our 21. I am extremely disappointed with the integrity of the store, particularly how they set up delivery and will not be purchasing items here again.

We worked with Adam. He was fantastic! He was available for questions but gave us enough space to look around at our leisure. We ended up buying furniture for our living room and a sealy hybrid bed. We were able to take advantage of the black Friday sales. We will shop here again and hope to work with Adam for future purchases. Thanks for the great experience.

The customer service at this location is exceptional. We were greeted with a smile, were given more than adequate answers to all of our questions, and a great pre-Black Friday deal to top it all off. Thank you Chris Maxa for making our first furniture purchase as a married couple such a great experience. Mike Arndt was also very helpful and nice.

Large store, selection...

They have overpriced stuff for sure, but they also have probably the cheapest couches in Mankato. The sales people are patient and helpful.

Best customer service and there delivery people were very nice too I will see them again soon I want dinner table I won't go anywhere else I like them thanks guys especially Chris and the other old guy I don't know his name thanks again

Worst customer service ever and there delivery truck is even more of a joke.They expect you to work around there delivery times but yet don't stick to it themselves. Then driver walks away cause he doesnt own a watch i guess and his feelings are hurt that someone asked him if he owned one.People have lives and jobs.No wonder people cancel deliverys on you cause you suck.Save time and hassle buy somewhere else and definitely don't buy Ashley.

Reasonable prices, guy in the warehouse was awesome

Customer service was terrible in store, I had ordered a desk and once it was received, we found it damaged. New desk ordered for delivery the next week and was shipped to the wrong store. Third time the desk was ordered and gave me a pick up date and called the store and they tell me they won't have it because they only receive the truck 1 day a week and I would have to wait another 5 days before I would receive my desk. Typically I have really good luck and good customer service with this store but this time around there has been no help to resolve or any attempt to follow up with any service recovery. Very disappointed and highly doubtful to return!
