We were shopping at four different furniture locations for a nice electric recline sofa. Joe Begin was able to help us out showed us a few different sofas that fit our needs. We finally selected one. He was able to get us a great price on it. He was very helpful. I even accidentally called the Manager by the wrong name 😀

Lizzi and Joe have been very great to work with they knew exactly what I wanted and sold me more than I didn’t know I need! It was an amazing experience and would recommend Lizzie to a higher corporate position due to the confidence and inviting personality. Joe was a great salesmen that drew me in and catered to my need with professionalism!

Jolene B. is a great salesperson. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable regarding all pieces of furniture I inquired about. I felt very comfortable with her and she made my shopping experience very enjoyable.

OMGOODNESS!!! WONDERFUL customer service! Ask for Elizabeth when going to the Maplewood, MN location. She is so friendly, knowledgeable, professional, bubbly/happy and will go out of her way for you to suit your needs. We settled on the Omaha by Ashley which ultimately after I woke up from my hour nap on this magnificent piece, I knew this needed to be in my home. Had the best experience today with Jolene! I was frustrated going to multiple furniture stores to find a specific couch that no where had in stock and i needed it today so she went above and beyond and found somewhere that did and placed an order pick up for me! So thrilled with our mattress buying experience today! There was not a single bed in the store Lizzie couldn't tell you everything about. We have been shopping for a mattress for a few weeks and I had done a ton of research and knew I wanted a Nectar set. The fine (no) folks across the street pushed us toward a much more expensive set that both my husband and I didn't love but they had me questioning everything with absolutely no reasons as to why. I'm SO grateful that my entire being told me to step back and not make a decision no matter how badly they pushed, promised, or pestered. Walking in to Ashley three days later was a complete different experience. Lizzie made sure we tried as many as we wanted and as many times as we wanted. She made sure we had the right pillows for our sleeping position and answered every single question we had and so many more that we would never even think of to ask. She is a professional through and through but also makes you feel like you're not in a dentist chair with your mouth wide open. She got us in to a King size superior mattress with a deluxe adjustable base, two pillows perfect for us, a mattress pad, and a 10 year warranty for almost 2k less than we were quoted for a queen and basic adjustable base less than 100 yards and a small parking lot away. I'm very excited because we also are looking at a new living room set and now knowing we have somewhere we can go that we can trust the pricing and staff means I don't need to do so much research and I can just let them know what we are looking for and then lean on their knowledge. Thank you so much, Lizzie. I cannot wait to get our new bed (and don't worry, we got bigger sheets today. Enjoy your time with your mom!)

BEWARE I was parked there for maybe 3 hours. When I returned, my car was gone. It was towed. We had a hard time figuring out who towed it. It's $360 to recover it. This was a public parking lot, and I didn't see any "no parking" signs, or "will be towed" warning signs. Then the Myth nightclub wouldn't let us back in, and we had to wait outside for over an hour for a ride, in the cold and rain. Why not just issue a ticket or a wheel lock? Like why be so unnecessarily atrocious. 😭

Jolene was wonderful from the moment myself and my family walked into the store to shop for a new sectional ! She was warm and kind with her greating us and very informative of the new options they had as well as what to look for with the lay out of the store. The staff and her self gave us ample time and space without hovering or crowding us and were also very attentive when we had questions regarding the mod x sectional we purchased. She definitely made the process very streamlined and welcoming and not in the least painful when it comes to a big purchase. 1000/10 if I could and that ls not to over sell as we went to 2 other places before that were very opposite of what I described above again thank you to Jolene and ashy for the help with the purchase !

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to stay silent. We purchased a piece of furniture and within a year couple of years we had to replace it. The real headache came with the warranty. It was never properly explained to us. Turns out, we were supposed to call them within six months after the warranty expired to initiate the refund. How were we supposed to know that? No reminders, no clear instructions—just a vague promise. Unlike HOM Furniture they just send you a check after the time expires. Now we’re out $260, we were just told this was written off and can't be refunded to us. The lady told us that this program was a horrible process and many didn't know that they had to call. We were then informed that there may be a way to get these funds back, but only if we go into a store buy more furniture and they might do a credit, but no guarantees. This is a bait-and-switch. Between the poor craftsmanship and the confusing, misleading warranty terms, I wouldn’t recommend buying from them. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere like HOM Furniture.

She let us have our own space while we looked for items and continuously followed up if we had any questions. She assisted us with financing and numbers. All of our stuff was in stock and it is going to be delivered by the end of the week! She is also so sweet and helpful! I really enjoyed her presence. She truly cares about the customers.

**** Update**** On Friday, July 25th, I spent from 10:40 AM until 8:14 PM making phone calls to the Ashley Furniture store in Maplewood and the local corporate number. Each person I talked to told me they would look into the matter and call me back. None of these individuals called me back. At 8:14, the manager of the Ashley Furniture store of Maplewood, Liz, called me and told me that out of the “graciousness of her heart,” she found me a solution to get my couch to me on Saturday, July 26th. Her response to me was never, “Sorry we messed up, let us make this right for you.” She made it seem like she was doing me a favor. I understand that mistakes happen, especially with new employees, but the company should have been interested in correcting their mistake when I first called at 10:40 AM. Manny from Xpress Delivery did a fantastic job delivering the couch on Saturday, July 26th. He also provided us with some tips and tricks for getting the couch into our house. Out of this whole experience, I highly recommend Manny from Xpress Delivery. Also we like the couch. It is quite comfortable!! Looking back, I wish I had spent the extra money to purchase this couch from another store. There are many on the same block as this Ashley Furniture store. This would have saved me a lot of time and headaches. Since getting my couch, Liz has tried calling me six times, left two voicemails, and sent me three texts between 8:48 PM on July 26th and 2:26 PM on July 27th asking me to change or update my review. Save yourself the headache and choose one of those other stores. **** Update**** “Make sure to give me a 5-star review”- Jolene Up until Ashley Furniture received my money, they provided me with quality service. Once they received my money and things went wrong, they were neither helpful nor interested in assisting me. Jolene helped us purchase a couch and ottoman on Tuesday, July 22nd, with delivery for Friday, July 25th. Awesome! She was friendly and got us in and out quickly. Jolene set us up to have Ashley Furniture deliver the new couch to my house for free. Then things went south. Throughout Wednesday and Thursday, I did not receive any updates from Ashley Furniture regarding our three-hour delivery window on Friday. I thought this was no big deal because we had just made the arrangements two days prior. Friday morning arrived and still no word from Ashley Furniture about our three-hour delivery window. I finally called Ashley Furniture to inquire about the status. The lady on the phone looked at my information and said, “You are scheduled today to pick up the furniture yourself and not delivery. I will transfer you to the person who sold the couch to you”. I was then transferred to Jolene, who reviewed the transaction and realized she had not actually scheduled our delivery. Jolene stated she would need to discuss this with her boss and then would get back to me. Four hours later, I still had not heard back from her. So I had to call again and ask what was going on. The delivery and payment representative had no clue we had called and no idea that Jolene was attempting to correct this mistake. The Delivery and Payment representative told me she would look into trying to accommodate us and would call me back within about 30 minutes. I am still waiting on that callback 2 hours later. No one ever simply said to us, “Sorry for our mistake, let us make this right for you”. Everyone just said, “Let me see what's going on” and never responded back to me. I, now, have no furniture to sit on in my living room because I prepared for a new couch for today, I am out of a day of my time from having to make several calls throughout the day, and now I have to clear another day next week to wait for delivery. If the couch we bought was not such a good deal, I would get my money back and spend it with another company that values me as a customer. Be careful because if something goes wrong, that was their fault, they do not care enough to make things right.

June of 2025 we visited Ashley in Maplewood and was assisted by assistant manager Elizabeth (Lizzy). Store had a lot to choose from, sales at the time were great. We found more than one item we were interested in. Lizzie was excellent at helping us with options and outlining the features of each and what we were looking for. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the products and was very patient as we were in and out more than once before making our decisions. We received a store credit for a piece of furniture that could t be repaired. We connected with Lizzie at the Maplewood Ashley store. She listened to what we wanted, showed us some pieces that she thought would work, checked in with us and didn’t follow us around to make a decision. Once we made a decision, she got the details of our choices with print outs. Hours after we got home I let Lizzie know what we wanted and she set everything up and got our order placed over the phone. We had a short wait for the order to be fulfilled but Lizzie kept us up to date with when to expect things by text. Delivery got set up and everything arrived beautifully and I’m so happy with our sectional. Lizzie called after delivery to ensure everything went smoothly and that we were happy! I cannot express how impressed I was with Lizzie. She really went above and beyond with her customer service! We have always gone to Ashley for our furniture and have met a lot of good customer service people but Lizzie has been the best and greatest experience we have ever had! Went looking to find new furniture for whole home. Brooke P gave me a rundown of where things were and let me browse for a while. When I found something I liked she checked to see if they had it in stock with no pressure to buy something else. Fortunately for me everything was in stock and available for delivery except the living room set in the color I wanted but she was able to get it ordered for me with no problems. Overall, I had a great experience shopping here. I found the furniture to be of good quality and I look forward to its delivery and assembly in my home. Though prices may be higher on some items compared to big box stores, I think the quality of the furniture is far above what you could get for those cheaper prices. Definitely will be returning in the future. Thank you again, Brooke for your help and hospitality.

By far one of the worst experiences we've had with a retailer. My wife and i wenent in to purchase a modular couch after getting qoutes and price verification. This should have been a simple transaction but the sales associate and manager blamed a colleague for misqouting and mispromoting the offer and told us "We don't like customers like you" Needless to say we purchased the peice we wanted at a different store. Be wary when dealing with the sales staff in this location, folks.

Poor experience thus far. I purchased a media console in mid January and was told it would be ready for pickup within 2 weeks at the latest. I called to check on the status in mid February after not hearing anything and was told it was pushed back but would be in by the end of the month. Called back in early March, was told it would now be in by the end of March. Called back at the end of March and was told the shipment is coming sometime in April. Called back today and now am being told it will be May before it arrives. Since I purchased this media console I have made 3 separate purchases from HOM and Royal Star, including an entire custom living room set, and have already received them all. I would look elsewhere if you want furniture within the next several months, or communication regarding order delays.

Nobody was in the place very unhelpful when I was trying to order parts for one of my couches. Just pawned me off and didn't care. I will never buy anything from them again. Plenty of furniture places out there with the same stuff.

I was super excited to finally purchase new furniture but I really was not looking forward to going through the process if I am being honest. That all changed after calling the store and speaking with Liz! We eventually met and she was very personable, attentive and not at all aggressive. It's rare that you walk out of a furniture store, or really ANY store, raving with your wife about the customer service. And this is despite the fact that they were so busy (30 minutes from closing on a Friday) that we had to wait a bit. When the Store Manager, Mike, was able to help us, we joked that we had a really unique need that might be a challenging one and Mike grinned. He seemed to really enjoy a challenge and went very much above and beyond to meet our needs. The Assistant Manager, Elizabeth, also kept us entertained as Mike worked through our issue. I can't express enough how phenomenal the service is at this store. We went to several other Ashley stores before this and got nowhere near the service. Mike had an attitude that figuring out our issue was a the most important thing in the world. We will be back and tell everyone we know to shop here for furniture. Thank you!!!

Had a wonderful experience at Ashley. I was looking for a living room set and a family room reclining sofa and loveseat or sectional. Brooke greeted myself and my mother-in-law. She was friendly and had very good knowledge of the store and where everything was. She helped us with the locations of the items we were looking for and then left us to look at the furniture if we had questions she was not far but we were allowed to look around and try out the different styles and such of the furniture. We had a couple of questions and Brooke helped us with those and gave us a quote on the items we liked. It was only the first place we went. So we told her we just wanted to check out a few other places. We did and were not as impressed with the selection or the professionalism as were were given at Ashley. So we decided to go back to Ashley and purchase all my items. Brooke again helped us with the final sale as well as setting up delivery. I bought a sectional from Ashley a little less than 3 years ago and 3 out of the 5 cushions have already torn and aren’t usable. When I tried to speak with the online chat they told me there was nothing they could do as the model had been discontinued. So the $1500 couch they sold me only lasted less than 3 years and they have no way to remedy it.

Found the table I had saved in my phone from August and she was able to help me find a rug for underneath it and a sofa table (things I didn’t know I’d like but now need) 😂 Thank you again- now I’m off to eat lunch and will bring you a piece of pie! 08/19-Elizabeth did excellent! We are moving into a new house tomorrow and she found us a sofa set, coffee tables and whole bedroom set at great prices!! We bought a recliner loveseat from Ashley furniture. A few days after delivery we noticed one of the footrests was hard to push in. Talk to Erica from customer service. She needed pictures of the serial number. I did not know how to send on my phone so I went to your store in Maplewood for help. Elizabeth Vargas came to my rescue.
