my husband and I were so impressed with this ashley store...I called ahead and told them what i was looking for...randy was the best salesperson ever...he met us at the door with a wheel chair for my husband... he pushed him to the areas we needed to go...he took pictures of furniture to show my husband when he was to tired to shop.. after we picked out furniture he gave us detailed list of what we had.. the prices and the warranties we decided to get...I had found a few pieces of furniture at other stores and showed him pictures and he was able to find me the same thing or close to it and ashley was the same or less. randy was so patient! he even worked with us with our closing on the apartment and they deliver!!! thank u for making moving ALOT easier!! jim n lisa from illinois

5 years ago, I wanted to buy furniture, and at that time the selection in the Ashley furniture store was not very large. Now we decided to upgrade our old furniture and we came to Ashley again and were really surprised. The furniture is of high quality, they have a lot of choices, and the prices are acceptable. I would also like to praise Alex Black as one of the best sellers. He really knows his job, he is very careful, kind and he was one of the reason why we decided to do our shopping at Ashley. We like our furniture! We’ve owned it for a year now and it looks good and seems good quality. It was a bit pricey and one of the pieces took almost two months to arrive. Our seller, Terri, was really nice and upfront about the delay and gave us an additional discount and coupons for a local restaurant. The part I liked most was the white glove delivery. I’ve ordered furniture online before that arrives in boxes, and it is a pain to drag those boxes inside and put together (also, the furniture tends to be low quality). We’ve found it is fine for minor things (if you know where to find the good quality stuff), but nothing beats your couch coming in all assembled and you just point to the guys where you want it in your home. I also liked that you get texts and notifications days before the delivery is out so you can pick a time window. On delivery day, you get several texts telling you how far the truck is from your home, which was nice because we could be prepared to receive it. It was a really nice experience!

Purchased a sofa that has essentially fallen apart internally in less than two years of gentle use. The Guardian plan they push makes it sound like any little thing will be taken care of, only the truth is… you just get taken. I have worked for three major furniture companies so I know a thing or two about quality and reputation. This piece is structurally poorly made. Looks nice but built like junk. Now our LAF part of a very expensive sectional is sagging and making terrible noises, so I submit a claim which was promptly denied ststing my warranty didn’t cover structural integrity. So Ashley salesman lied to me. The manager lied to me, and guardian soaked me for hundreds. Buyer beware!

I cannot express how much our family LOVES our new section and fireplace entertainment center! The pricing was great and they also offer stress free financing! Huge shout out to Matt B who helped us pick the perfect furniture for our family, took measurements and was just all around helpful the entire time and to Bonnie who helped my husband and I navigate and answer questions regarding the finance situation. Will definitely purchase from them again !

I recommend Ashley Furniture if you go into the store to place your order. Do not place an online order. The furniture is of high quality with good selection, and the salespeople, at least at my local store, are helpful and not pushy or over the top. I like their financing options with the in-store card and online payment of the card is easy and secure. The online site has an excellent search feature. This was the only furniture site I personally found that would yield worthwhile results on a color search. Now the negatives about online ordering: many of their items will say there is a 3-5 day or 2-3 week usual delivery time, but after I placed an online order, I got ever-lengthening delay news by email. Immediately after the order, I got a confirmation for 3-5 days, then it was 1-2 weeks, then the third day, an email stated everything was out of stock and would be 3-6 weeks. I was not even clear who was fulfilling the order or who to call because there is a third party deliverer often involved. After 7 weeks I asked to cancel the order, was told it would deliver that weekend, but then it got cancelled anyway, however it took a week to verify it was cancelled and not just delayed. I went into a store, placed the order again and had the items in 3 weeks as promised. The store staff agreed that strictly online ordering is not a great experience and suggested against it.

We had a great experience at Ashley buying a couch. Tanner was extremely helpful and worked with us to meet our needs, and answered any questions we had. I would definitely come back next time we need more furniture.

We did not have a good shopping experience at this store, and will not recommend to others. Most of the sales reps (not all of them) are either disrespectful or do not have integrity in providing actual facts. We bought a sofa and love seat a month ago and were deceived of the sofa material - clearly claiming that it’s made of genuine leather. We were aware that there are many variations when it comes to the material (Top grain, faux etc) but couldn’t distinguish by just seeing it. The sales rep who attended us, repeatedly stated it’s made out of original leather and even showed us other cheaper options mentioning they are not original. Maybe the definition of genuine leather couldn’t be defined or the answer may not be a simple yes or no, but I believe the sales rep could have been more honest.

I had an excellent experience with Ashley. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was buying a couch on Black Friday while I was in Florida and had it shipped to my house in Rochester, so it was a complicated transaction. Sales rep was extremely helpful.

Matthew answered all my questions and helped me pick the amazing Purple Premium Restore Plus Hybrid king mattress and was also able to put it on hold with the Black Friday price until I buy my house, for just 25% down! He also got me 25% off two medium height, king Purple Harmony pillows! Matthew is the man!

My sales rep was so patient, helpful and flexible as I made a few adjustments to my order. His primary goal was to make sure I was satisfied. I couldn’t be happier with my new living room furniture. Ashley stands behind their products. I chose the 5-year product/service plan that will cover the replacement/repair for any piece that fails or suffers damage (even if my fault). If the service isn’t needed in those 5 years, I can use the money I spent for the coverage for a purchase in store. Amazing!!!

We had a long weekend of trying to find (2) sofas for our house. We went all over town. We finally landed at Ashley. Tanner greeted us at the door. He got our names. We decided that we wanted to walk around for a bit. Tanner let us do that. He came over about 15 minutes later and we were ready. He walked us through the sofas we picked out. He gave us the pluses and minuses on each. We made our decision and couldn’t be happier. We even got a blooming onion at Texas Roadhouse!

Walked in knowing what I was looking for but also scatter brained! Tanner politely welcomed me into the store. I was carrying my newborns car seat and he immediately offered the wheelchair to put her in so I could freely walk. Very considerate!! We finally found the table I had seen online and we got it ordered! My Store Salesman Was Tanner Spooner at the North Rochester Location. He was really welcoming for my boyfriend and I when we came in. He showed us around a little and the store promos selection. I immediately set my eyes on this couch and couldn’t step away I just had to come back and buy it. Was so worth it! How about this deal originally $750 down to $550 for buying the couch off the floor +$100 delivery such an amazing deal. The delivery service was very efficient as well. Couldn’t ask for a better sales person.

Tanner Spooner was a huge help in our furniture purchase. Wasn’t pushy at all. Spent probably two hours with him and decided another day later to purchase fully. Ashley has been fantastic in the entire moving process. Even gave us a 15% discount for the multi purchase. Made sure from another order that our delivery would be free and tied to another one we are waiting on. Just all-in-all fantastic. Even the warranty on furniture, if not used, is refunded back as in store credit when it runs out. Pretty great store.

I had to return a sofa and chest, the sofa was so uncomfortable, was nothing like the floor room example, the chest looked like they dropped it. I ended up keeping the living room chair even though the back corner seam was unraveling, I was able to pull the string through and tie it. The only thing that was okay was the ottoman.

Purchased a leather match sofa and loveseat set. Site says cushions/back (where you sit) is real 100% leather. It peeled where you sit. We got a replacement. The replacement is peeling in the same spots. Real leather doesn't peel. Ashley Furniture probably got cheap and used the vinyl match for entire sofa! Not what we paid for or were promised and now we are stuck with a couch that is peeling! Would not recommend Ashley products to anyone! This is fraud and deceptive business practices!

Upon entering the store with the intention of browsing for furniture, I was immediately approached by a lady at the front door. I politely informed her that we were only there to look around and get a sense of the available options before making a purchase decision. However, she seemed to disregard our intentions completely and adopted an unnecessarily confrontational and rude attitude. Her refusal to accept that we were merely browsing created an uncomfortable environment. As we were making our way to the other side of the store, she approached us again! Persistently making rude remarks. I wanted to leave as soon as possible. Her demeanor was unbecoming of someone in a customer-facing role.

Randy was a champion. I told him what I was looking for and he took me immediately to exactly what I needed. No BS, perfect salesman.

We had an amazing experience with Ashley Furniture and Teri McShan-Hilfers! We bought a sectional about three years ago, and although I rarely spend the money on extra warranties, this time I did. I am so thankful. We had a very unforeseen mishap with one of the pieces. Guardian Protection came thru with the full reimbursement of our original cost. Teri worked extremely hard to get us the best deal she could on a replacement to bridge the gap between what the cost was three years ago and the cost increases that even furniture has experienced recently. I’ve bought many pieces of furniture from Ashley Furniture. Some of it is adequately built most of it is nice looking. I have a dresser that looks great but after a few months use the glides on the drawers started falling apart because it was built with super cheap drawer glides. I have a beautiful lamp that had to have the switch replaced after two years of light use. It’s annoying as hell. $20 more in dresser drawer glides and $10 more on a better lamp switch. Things like this have kept me from ever going back to Ashley.

I purchased a chair from Ashley store in Rochester earlier this year. The service was excellent and they had a wide selection to choose from. The prices were fair, and as a mayo employee I was able to get quite a large discount on my purchase. The shipping cost was a bit much, but Tanner, the sales rep who was assisting me, offered to drive the chair over to my apartment free of charge. It was incredible to have him offer that service, he really went above and beyond!! Would highly recommend purchasing your next piece of furniture from Ashley’s and working with Tanner to get the best experience!

Unfortunately, our couch wasn't put together properly went it arrived, but we called Tanner again and he was able to help us fix it with a simple text message and picture. My family purchased a full sectional couch and a queen size bed frame with integrated drawers this year. The sectional couch arrived with one end of the frame broken. As we put the bed together, the interior wood frame was the cheapest plywood I have ever seen. The plywood was delivered already splitting apart from the laminate and incredibly fragile with splinters coming off of it. Part of the framework did not fit the construction of the bed and I had to manually shave parts of the interior wood away in order to get it to fit. Much of the hardware was also falling out of the wood. The drawers on the bed contain handles that are attached by screws. As we put the handles on, we discovered that half of the screws were already stripped. This is the poorest quality furniture I have ever purchased. An IKEA bed would have been much better quality. I can't believe I spent $1,000 on just a frame for a bed with this many problems. Absolutely horrible and I will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley.

They refused to allow me more than 7 days to return loveseat due to ongoing medical problems I have. Today they picked up the item financed at my bank disallowing me a full refund over $1800. Their instore credit does not apply to me. BAD BUSINESS.

Do not order furniture here. I had two dressers that were suppose to be delivered to my house. I needed to take my child to the doctor unexpectedly. I was tracking the furniture delivery time on the app they give you and according to the app I would be back in time. They showed up 30 minutes before the app was showing and when I said I would be 15-20 minutes they wouldn’t wait. They dropped the furniture off in our garage for my husband and I to drag up 2 flights of stairs. I was home 15 minutes after our phone call. I called the manager asking for my delivery charge back and he wouldn’t do it. We were told the furniture would be delivered inside. “Sometimes the app is off.” They also refused to come back to help us get the furniture inside. I won’t be ordering furniture here again. Things happen unexpectedly and you think people could be a little more understanding and flexible.

We went in just to look and we’re greeted by Tanner. He asked the right questions and brought us to the right sofas. He didn’t pressure the sale either. I liked how honest he was about anything we looked at. That Saturday turned from just looking to very expensive. Love the furniture. Can’t wait for the bedroom set to come this summer.

Our sales lady, Jordan Hong, was wonderful to work with, she was patient, kind, and was not at all pushy to make a sale. She was able to answer all our questions, and gave excellent costumer satisfaction. Thanks Jordan for helping my husband and I find our couch.

I have bought from Ashley multiple times and they have good quality furniture but the delivery time frame and there update on when the furniture will be there is 3-5hrs. This is the last time I will buy from this company! As there need to find a better way to deliver product to the customer.

My initial interactions with the floor staff was great. Unfortunately, the wrong item name was written down for me and ultimately ordered. When I got my items home and realized they were wrong, I contacted the store where I was questioned about my items and that maybe what I ordered just looked different at home versus the showroom because of their lighting. (I ordered black nightstands and was given a very different color and model). I was further told that they didn't even have such items in the store to which I had to describe to them their furniture and the location to find it in their showroom. Ultimately the correct items were ordered and received a week later. When I went to pick up the items (after I had already paid for now both sets of nightstands) - I was told that I still owed them more money. Luckily I was able to show them my receipts and credit card charges for the items and it turns out, they actually would need to refund me as I had in fact paid for everything. I was told that I would receive a return call the next business week and I asked to be contacted by the store manager. Of which never happened. Luckily my credit card did get refunded but again with no further follow up or communication from the store.

Lots of staff, one asked if I needed assistance. All others were sitting on the furniture. At least go sit in the breakdown.

Recently I was lucky enough to find a sectional at Ashley Homestore in Rochester, MN. Randy, the Manager, was AWESOME to work with. His professionalism and expertise made me very comfortable with my purchase without seeing what I actually purchased. He was able to locate the sectional, that was out of stock. He went above and beyond!

I dealt with Randy, the store manager and mattress salesperson, again today. I’ve not had positive experiences with him in the past. Today was no different. The greeter walkie-talkied him to tell him I was coming back to his department looking for mattress protectors. He left with a coworker as I entered the department. Not a big deal. I expected him to help me when he returned. Instead, he didn’t acknowledge me or say that he’d be back to help me, and he just left the department again. After a minute, I followed him to the storeroom door he went thru and waited for him to come out. When he did, I told him I’d been waiting and asked my question. I got the item I needed, and not surprisingly he was all nice and helpful when I picked up a comment card at the register. Not impressed.

Jordan H. was the consultant that assisted me . Patient , informative, suggestive, and a pleasure to work with and to have help me find my perfect living room piece for our family. I walked out with a beautiful new couch & chase piece that I melted in to . I’m in love with it . Thx Jordan! I’ll be back!

I went to the store looking for a new recliner and noticed a powered reclining loveseat in the clearance section. The salespeople were very friendly and helpful (and so were the people in the warehouse/loading section) and they got me taken care of and loaded up right away. Ashley will be my first stop when I look for furniture in the future.

My wife purchased a new sofa and love seat from Asley's Rochester MN store. After delivery, we discovered damaged wood under the undamaged shipping foam. The damage obviously occurred in the store but items were sent out anyway. The store agreed to refund a portion of the purchase price to compensate for the damage. A check would be mailed within seven days. That was months ago - still no check. Not the best customer service.

Randy Moreland was wonderful to work with. We went in knowing what we wanted & he showed us the items we wanted to see (nothing more and nothing less and NO pressure at all). If you’re looking for a no pressure and pleasant shopping experience…ask for Randy!

My daughter is in the process of moving to Rochester, MN and literally needs everything to furnish her home. We’ve been to Ashley twice this week and have had great experiences both times. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They listened to our needs and guided us in the right direction without trying to sell us on things that we didn’t need. We walked out of the store 15 minutes ago, having purchased a mattress and box spring and we couldn’t be any happier. Thanks Randy!

Hanna was phenomenal at helping us find just the right sectional! The ordering process was easy, the delivery was very timely, and we love the couch. The only disappointment was that the couch frame did not have screw holes for the legs of the couch. We had to drill the holes ourselves and then could attach the legs.

Just walked in ready to buy, one sales person was sitting on a sofa with clipboard and phone, another a few feet away from the other. My son and I got the stare down but neither greeted up. The lady standing walked away and watched us a bit. We walked around for a few minutes then decided to walk out. This was our 4rd furniture store stop today, and the most unwelcoming place we stopped.

I had an amazing experience with one of the sales staff. I wasn't pressured into anything, which was great. Everything was incredibly easy. Our couch is holding up great with 2 young children who think they are gymnast.

Great customer service and personal attentiveness. Wide-ranging selection, lovely staging of each furniture set and great decor options. We really liked the salesman, his candor and individualized recommendations.

We have bought furniture from them many times previous. The last time we did we bought a 2500 dollars living room set to make room for our kid to play as she got older. Didn't even get a year total use out of our couch and it kept breaking. Couch was very cheaply and poorly made(didn't know until after we bought it). Now they refuse to replace it or help us in any way other than sending a tech to fix it for like 7-800 dollars out of pocket. Very disappointed and am going to switch furniture stores.

I recently moved to Rochester because of a family medical emergency and decided to rent an apartment. I went to Ashley's Rochester location to purchase furniture and the staff were helpful beyond my expectations. I know nothing about decorating and the sales person, Hannah, helped me pick out the perfect counter stools that perfectly matched the decor if the apartment. The store manager, Randy, also went above and beyond and actually assembled the counter stools because he understood my time is limited. The store is well organized and clean and I was constantly asked if I needed assistance by the staff. That location is a well oiled machine. Your company should be proud of the team you've assembled at that location. I would give them a thousand stars if I could.

This is a great furniture store that truly believes in customer service. We needed a leveling bolt when we moved and they found one for us. We were so impressed with their service we came back a few months later to buy a chair and were treated the same way. We will see them again, no doubt!

We will never shop at Ashley again purchased a sofa in April, it has broke 2 times. We were told we’d be issued a credit and to keep the sofa. Now are being threatened that they will turn us into To collections , if we do not return the sofa, which we would but they came here and did t pick it up. Was told I would have my bed set up and have help remove to move old bed out of my house due to being 9 months pregnant and unable to lift things my self . When bed arrived day of delivery they were going to just leave my bed outside and not help take old mattress even though extra cost of everything was paid for . Have had other issues in the past but after this and being told diffrent things by each person I refused my bed and am in the works of a refund. Most stressful process ever to get bed.

We looked at mattresses at a number of locations before going to Ashley Home Store. We had an appointment and Bryce was our salesman. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant. He pointed us to the options for a hybrid bed, but did not pressure us. I was amazed that they had our mattress in stock, given our experience elsewhere. It was delivered and set up at no charge 4 days after purchase. We are very pleased.

The moment we walked into the store this young guy came at us asking us what we wanted to buy, when we said shelves for our daughter’s room he said that they don’t have anything like that and I guess he expected us to leave, we asked if we could go into the store and look around because we could see shelves displayed on the floor and he said sure. We then approached a manager who told us that many of the shelves are not for sale, when we pointed at the one we wanted and asked him if it we could buy that one because it had a price tag he said yes. We’ve bought 4 living rooms and dining set from this store over the years and we are greatly disappointed about the way they treated us. The only nice sales person is Hanna, she is always very attentive and we ended up going to her today because nobody else working there today seems to be in the mood to no bothered by customers trying to make a purchase. I’m sorry for the owners but they only have one good sales representative in that store.

Ashley was great. The sales people were genuine and helpful. We had a problem with one of the pieces being too big for our space and the next day the salesperson helped solve our problem and order a piece that was better for us.

We came to this store in search of a TV stand that was at least 60 inches wide. As soon as we walked in we were met by Devin who walked us through the store and showed us all the TV stands that would fit our needs. After showing us, he left us to be able to wander and talk alone about which one we wanted. I appreciated that he took the time to spend with us but wasn’t pushy or slimy salesman-y. We now have a beautiful TV stand, thanks Devin!

They don't tell you that smaller pieces of furniture have to be assembled, and that there's no instructions to do so. Had I known that I would have gone somewhere else. If I'm going to spend $200+ on an end table I don't expect a DIY kit.

My phone picked up a ADDWARE virus that posts full screen adds all day long interrupting what ever I am doing and waking me up all night long. I know that your company is not in the virus business but I find it hard to believe that they are advertising Ashley Furniture on my phone all day long for free. Since your participating in this harassing method of advertising I refuse to buy at your store and I would hope others would stand up to this harassment and not buy here either till this practice stops.

I walked in to the Ashley HomeStore in Rochester looking for a new wall clock. Tasha not only helped me find a clock, but she helped me with several other pieces I had been wanting to get. She went over and above by moving furniture around so I could see what it looked like with other pieces. She gave me ideas and made it fun! She never made me feel rushed or that she had other things to do. She made me feel like she was there just to help me. After I decided on my items, she turned me over to Devin to help with the logistics. And again, he was awesome. He helped me get everything finalized. I was picking up the items a few days later and he was very attentive to help me through that process by keeping in contact with me. The day I picked the items up they were all packaged and ready to go and Bryce helped my husband load it and was also very helpful. I would highly recommend Ashley HomeStore to anyone looking for furniture or home decorating. They will not disappoint. And again, thank you to Tasha and Devin for the extraordinary service they provided.

In 2009 we bought our Temperpedic adjustable bed from Bonnie at Ashley furniture. She was excellent. She did such a good job. We still have the bed and I love it as much as the day I bought it. We stop in at Ashley periodically and Bonnie now works in the office there. I tell her hi and tell her we still have the bed and how good she did with us. Bonnie is an asset to Ashley Furniture Store. I will never forget her knowledge and expertise. Thank you Bonnie. I give you 5 stars!

If I could give less then one star I would. Quality is very poor. Paid for delivery and when they showed up 3 of the five things where damaged. When they came back weeks later they did not bring all the right stuff. So I had to go to the store and get the rest myself after waiting another week or two. When I went to go pick it up they gave us too much stuff which they blamed on us because we went to the wrong door. Also, they will not come pick up the extra things they gave us. Instead, a guy named Randy says we have to come bring it back or they will charge our card again he was so rude to my wife that she hung up on him. We will never buy from them again.

Pretty good variety of stuff here. We were looking for end tables and a buffet table which they had plenty. We just didn't find one that fit our exact needs. When we first walked in we were greeted politely but wasn't harassed throughout the visit the gentleman did a good job of checking in to see how we're doing but never once felt like he was annoying. It's laid out nice where you can see pretty much everything in one round loop with maybe a dash through the center. We will be going back.

On Tuesday February 5th my mom and I went bed shopping. The first place we went to was Ashley in Rochester. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and asked what they could help us with. We described we were looking for a mattress and then they directed us to Bryce. Right when we walked back to the mattress area Bryce was standing up and ready to greet and help us with whatever we needed. He greeted us with a warm smile and asked to describe what we were looking for. The first mattress he directed us to was the one. I knew from the first time I layed on it. He had us look at some other options and try some other ones also. He gave us some prices and we said we would talk it over with my dad and let them know. Before we left he asked what we were doing the rest of the day and told us to drive safe because of the bad weather that was coming. He cared and wanted to connect with us and his customer service was AMAZING!!! We went to 5 other stores and by 2nd on I was shopped out. There was one other mattress that was a contender for the final pick. We went back to Ashley and layed on the mattress again to make sure that I still felt that it was the one. We sat and waited for Bryce to get back from his lunch break. Once he got back he welcomed us back and asked how we were doing. His customer service was over the top amazing and that I why I chose to by a Sealy mattress at Ashley. Not because they had the best deal but because I felt to most cared about! I would definitely recommend anyone to them and if your looking for a mattress talk to Bryce! He was absolutely awesome and I would go back to him any other time I need to buy a mattress!!! Thank you some much to everyone at Ashley for your help and customer service!! Thank you especially Bryce!!

We went there looking for a recliner and came away empy handed. The guy was not very helpful and kept trying to show us recliners we weren't interested in. There didn't seem to be much to choose from. Went Hom and a much better experience.

I actually have an account at Ashley's and I purchased 2 pieces last fall that I've paid off. I'm very happy with the reclining Love seat and Dresser purchased. I also consider these pieces 2 exemplify the exceptions I refer to later in this review. I've been there several times. However, during my this visit, not a single person asked whether I needed assistance. The store wasn't busy and several associates were available. Yet I was simple ignored. 🤔 I was only browsing so I stopped and left. They are currently renovating so the store was rather messy and unorganized. Barring the exceptions, overall, the selection isn't as diverse as I'm accustomed to, the quality of their products isn't top of the line/high end and their products are decidedly overpriced. Nevertheless, if one can catch a good sale than one can walk away with a really nice piece of furniture at a fairly reasonable price. Unfortunately, the quality of customer service varies.

We ordered a sectional couch from Ashley. We early stated how we wanted the couch to be removable pieces so we could put it the way we wanted in our living room. We were reassured by the saleswoman that it was removable and could configure the couches easily. We received the couch today and it is not customizable. Our saleswoman and delivery team had a obvious language barrier that seemed to be the problem in this transaction. Your team needs to be educated in your pieces and know exactly how every couch works before promising a product to your customers. We will be returning the sectional and taking our business elsewhere. Your vetting of salespeople needs to have a higher standard.

I came into the store to order a dresser and nightstand. When I entered and began browsing I was not greeted by any members of the sales team. I found this strange as Ashley Furniture sales staff are usually warm and friendly. As I continued to browse through the store no one greeted me. I would like to attribute this lack of service to employees that were tired towards the end of their shift. However, three Caucasian American families that entered after me and browsed furniture near me were greeted right a way. Instead of being greeted I was only stared at by the sales team including while I walked by the customer service counter. This experience was extremely disheartening. It is a shame to think that my business as an African American patron is not valued.

Our experience in the store was just fine. The sales lady was very helpful and we were pleased with our selections. However there has been poor follow through. We had our furniture to be scheduled a week and a half after purchasing which we thought was great! We have just moved to Rochester and do not have any living room furniture yet. We then got a phone call saying that our stuff was delayed a whole entire week. Which is fine. I understand sales and that sometimes things happen. They told me it would arrive no later then the end of the following week. Then I got a text in the middle of the week saying the delivery guy would be over in 15 minutes. I called because I knew our stuff supposedly was not in yet. They had me talking to people in the showroom and then in the warehouse, they blamed it on the driver for being confused. I called today because I hadn’t heard anything, and it is supposed to be arriving tomorrow. They informed me that it was yet again delayed another 4 days. What frustrates me more than anything is that no one called me. I am the one that has to keep calling to check up on things. Our furniture has now been delayed 2-1/2 weeks from when they initially said it would be delivered.

I had an amazing experience - all of the staff was very helpful and really took the time to figure out what I was looking for! I was able to work with Hannah to pick out a perfect sofa set for my apartment and she walking around the entire store with me to help me pick out an accent chair and matching pillows. Picking out a mattress was also very painless. I was here during the Memorial Day sale so prices were excellent!

Showroom sales was great and personal and then after the service went down. It was delivered on a cold rainy day so after they left we noticed the backs of the coaches had no wrinkles and one of the recliners didn’t close unless you slammed it. We called and they agreed to come out. The rep told us that is how you close it and tried to use a blow dryer on leather to set the huge bulging wrinkles out of the back couch and reclining chair. After she left, I called the Rochester office and they transferred me to headquarters to let them know what had occurred as they were surprised also. This was also two weeks after she was initially to come as they say she was to arrive at 10am they called me at 9:45 to tell me she wasn’t coming as she was sick. So I wasted 1/2 off work and had to take another. They ordered new furniture and was told a morning delivery and when they called they said it would be an afternoon delivery instead. The hassle to get the furniture exchanged out has been nothing but a headache and hassle. They customer service and scheduling has LOTS to be desired! I would not go back based on the service and delivery. We have purchased from another big company in town and have NEVER had to jump through so many hoops based on their schedule. There is NO customer service or appreciation!

My experience picking up a mattress I purchased was not great, but the store manager, Lori Zavala, responded to my concerns in such an understanding, kind way. She went above and beyond to make up for her employee’s mistakes.

furniture delivered was broken, had to spend my own gas and time to pick up replacements, guardian protection plan is a joke, so many deceptive clauses. Conveniently no one that worked there when I bought furniture is there anymore, just feel very taken advantage of by them and sold low quality furniture and a worthless protection plan. Won't be back.

We have had a chance to purchase furniture from Ashley a couple of times since moving to Rochester. Our furniture has always been hand me downs, so walking into a furniture store for the first time was a bit scary. Tim took care of us each time, providing us with the information we needed to make a decision. I felt like he was patient to help us with what we felt like we needed and not to push us to select a higher end piece of furniture that might benefit him. Also, this most recent visit, we were in a bit of a hurry to snag a couch and loveseat combo for our living room before a family event coming up. When I called Ashley, Lynette answered the phone and transferred me to Lori. Lori helped me quickly and was able to assure us that we would have the pieces we wanted by our event. When we came in store to select the color we wanted, Tim helped us again. He arranged our delivery and Courtney was on the phone to confirm all the details. From beginning to end, whether on the phone or in person, we felt like we were well taken care of. We cannot speak to the quality of the furniture we have ordered, as we haven't had it long enough to see how well it will work for us. But if the quality of the furniture matches the quality of the customer care we have experienced, we are certain it will be top notch.

My experience at Ashley Furniture store in Rochester was fabulous. All the sales people were great especially the store manager Lori .She helped us decide on furniture and a bed that best suited our needs and got us great furniture and excellent financing. She even made recommendations which considered the welfare and happiness of our cats. She was very nice and patient with us.If it wasn't for her I don't think we would have came back the second time. My wife and I are very happy with our choice of shopping at Ashley Furniture.

My husband and I were in several times over two months as we prepared to purchase a mattress. Lori, the store manager, helped us each time and was always incredibly friendly and helpful. She remembered us each time we came back and asked us about our personal lives. She made us feel like she really cared. We looked at purchasing mattresses at other places, but made the choice to shop at Ashley because of Lori and her team!

I had an amazing customer service experience at the Ashley Rochester store. I had gone there to report a small defect on one of the chairs I had bought. I was greeted by a store representative, Tasha, who went out of her way to not only guide me on what steps to take to get replacement for my chair, but she also personally contacted customer support on my behalf and took time to explain my issues to the support representative. Now, that's what is the real customer service, which is hard to find these days!!

It was a great experience! 10/10. If you go you should definitely ask for Shane Weber he is the nicest and quickest salesman. He definitely is very nice as he was willing to move a table all the way to the couch we liked just so we could se if we would like the set. Also if your there definitely ask for Tasha at the front desk she's very sweet and try's her hardest to give you the best experiences and prices. Staff is in general very nice and patient plus they try their hardest to give you the best experience.

Nice variety, good prices

My boyfriend and I had just started looking for a new bed. Ashley was the 4th place we stopped today and my goodness, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Lori (the store manager) was amazing! She is knowledgeable about every aspect of the mattresses they carry down to the small details people don't think about. She worked with us to find exactly what would work for us. I'm young and have a lot of chronic pain and Lori made sure that we found something that would help me get the sleep I need. THANK YOU SO MUCH LORI for all your help!

Friendly customer service, no hassles, this store boasts a very helpful and attentive crew. They leave no details out of your purchase. Shopping for furniture can be fun kudos to Shane Weber and his assistance!

Shane was incredibly helpful and was never pushy! I found the perfect love seat and couch for our new home.

I went in looking for lamps and Hannah helped me find a couch that I have been looking for. It was a special order return but they took such great care of me I was so excited. My husband came back the next day tompick it up and Ron and Hector had it all wrapped up and helped him load it making it so easy for him. I can not be HAPPIER with the service we recieved and will be back.

Good service with friendly on the floor employees. Great memorial day sale. The ladies at the counter however were too busy chatting to talk to customers.

The staff was very patient with us as we debated between our options. They were also knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions we had about the furniture we were looking at. We never felt pressure and were very relaxed during the whole process. I will go back the for any furniture I need from now on.

Outstanding Customer Service on Mattresses My husband and I went into Ashley in February, 2017 for a new mattress. We worked primarily with Lori who was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went in looking for a specific model of mattress that had been discontinued years ago. She knew exactly what we were talking about. We had gone to Mattress Firm and the sales person there had never even heard of it. We purchased the mattress in February and were not happy with the pillow top. After several e-mails and phone calls and trips back in, after 90 days we ordered a different mattress since they have a 120 day sleep guarantee. The product we had was fine, just was not for us. Better yet, Lori restarted the 120 day sleep guarantee on our new mattress! We absolutely love the store. Additionally, I am in the Army Reserve and received a 35% discount on two new couches we purchased! We are incredibly happy with those as well. This store's prices are reasonable and the quality is good. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. For example, Randy, one of the managers, remembered us a week after our second visit and knew exactly what we were in there for when we went into to order the new mattress. I would highly recommend this store!

Was looking for a mattress today. 2 sales people were sitting and visiting. could not get anyone to assist me. very poor customer service.

They have a huge useless speed bumps. Really annoying and disgusting. I never shopped at your store and your bumps will make sure I never come to you. HATE YOU

I understand why Lori is called a mattress expert. She is kind, listens well and is very knowledgable. Nothing she said sounded like blah, blah, blah. She spent lots of time with us while we tested mattresses and gave excellent advise only when we asked for it. I would recommend her!!

Attentive and knowledgeable sales staff. NO HASSLES AT ALL. That made the difference for me. Ashleys has amazing products, and match that with great service it was easy to walk out with a new mattress and living room set!

We came to buy a dining table and when it arrived a week later we decided we needed a new living room too and came back that day. Our sales personthe first time was Randy and he was wonderful and gave us lots of time to consider all our options didn't hover but helped us out a lot. Our second person was John and he was so great too. He helped me find the color I wanted, doubled checked the price and made sure I knew all about the protection plan. The company I work for has a great relationship with Ashley furniture, so when we needed furniture for one of our homes, Ashley was our go to store. Steven went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for, was very friendly, and even came in on his day off to help us get our order in on time. Everyone at Ashley was very kind and helpful - I will definitely continue to purchase furniture from Ashley in the future.

I visited the Ashley store in Rochester to purchase a couch . I was pleasantly greeted by Shane Weber. I told him exactly what I was looking for , and my price point. He knew the products in the store extremely well he showed me the furniture that was in my price range and also made suggestions on other pieces of furniture that I could consider . He was not pressuring he was very friendly and kind I felt I had a great experience and I would highly recommend Ashley and I would highly recommend Shane has a home furnishing consultant !

We came here during the President's Day Sale to look at a couch set and a bed. Would definitely recommend this brick and mortar location, it's nice and clean and has employees with good customer service. Shane helped us with the couches and Randy helped with the bed. Both were knowledgeable, helpful, and enjoyable to work with. It made spending so much money a lot more bearable!

Beware: you have only 7 days to return your buy (you are not told about it). when the 7 days are gone you are on your own , cannot return anything. customer service is mediocre at best

I wanted to say how wonderful the staff was in assisting me with a recent purchase. I worked with Tressa the entire time and she was great! I was a bit indecisive on a few items, but she was amazing to work with. She gave me a ton a her time, and ran all over the store looking for things that matched my style. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!!

We purchased a new sofa for our home recently with the help of John Sandmeyer. John greeted us at the door and asked what we were looking for. We didn't have anything specific in mind so he started showing us what they had available. As we started to narrow down our choices, he did not pressure or push us in to a decision. He answered our questions, found the answer if he didn't know, and let us have some time to discuss and make a decision. He thoroughly discussed the standard warranty as well as an optional fabric protection warranty. He was very professional and helpful! The new sofa is in our home now and we are very happy with it!

We came into the store on 11/20 looking for a couch and chair. We were greeted by Hanna right away and she could tell we didn't want someone "selling" us something so she let us look. She came back and checked on us but let us take the lead. We left as we were going to several other furniture stores in Rochester that day. Ultimately we came back because everyone else was so pushy. When we returned Hanna found us again and then started making suggestions between our choices. Her customer service is why we bought our couch and chair that day. We picked up our stuff 11/23 and Ron, warehouse manager I believe, was amazing. So friendly and helpful, again making sure everything was what we wanted. The customer service from Hanna and Ron was great, thank you!

The prices are high, the sales people are not very helpful and their choices are way more limited than other furniture outlets.

Wonderful. Shane was quick, thorough and alot of fun. I enjoyed dealing with him and his coworkers.

Went to this location to purchase a bed, a frame, and 3 mattress. When it was time to pay for the items, I gave Hector my Ashley's card. He then had to get assistance from another team member who did not show up, and he then went to get the office manager. Although I have an Ashley's card and was going to use this for the purchase, I was informed that I would have to pay out of pocket for the taxes and delivery cost for the items which was not verbalized prior to. I was informed this was due to financing the furniture even though it is an Ashley's charge card. I went on Ashley's website, and did not experience any difficulties when placing the order. I will not be placing an order with Ashley, I will be going elsewhere.

We purchased a bedroom set, and dining room table and chairs. Very poor quality. Chairs break with very little use. King bed frame ok, but mattress was NOT same quality as showroom. First one was broken out of the wrapping, and second one was similarly poor quality. They will not stand behind their products. Ended up throwing away a brand new mattress and going elsewhere.

My wife and spent quite a bit of time searching for a Full Size Mattress and Bed. Went to every store in Rochester and, although Ashley did not have the Bed we were looking for, the full size mattress/box spring combination was the value we could find. Staff are generally very knowledgeable and eager (maybe a little too eager) to help. Would certainly recommend.

Very expensive but if you can find a good deal, they have some decent furniture.

Bought furniture on 11/22, delivered on time, delivery folks were great. But they didn't charge until 12/3 and then charged me AGAIN a duplicate transaction on 12/10...

Steve was literally the least helpful person I've ever encountered in a retail setting. How hard is it to answer, do you sell queen size bed frames? "Uhhh well I'm not sure, you'd have to come in and look."

Overpriced cheap furniture

We have purchased a bedroom set and living room set here and both are garbage. You definitely get what you pay for. Majority of all of their furniture is poorly made and needs reinforcement down the line after being used. If you aren't a handyman then I would look at other furniture places for better quality built furniture.
