Bought 2 rooms of furniture from Bri. She is a long term employee of Ashley-Furniture Mart and I have purchased lots of products from her from those stores over the years. She is very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and always goes out of her way to guarantee my satisfaction with items I have purchased. I have recommended her sales and service to many folks over the time she has been there and will continue. Very pleased with my recent purchases and will most certainly return there in the future. Delivery was also timely, and on time, and they were also very professional, careful, hardworking (in sub-zero temps), and courteous.

Joseph was the BEST! I’ve been hesitant to even try looking for a new couch because I was worried that the process would be far too time consuming, stressful, and overwhelming. However, once I finally decided to take a look, Joe immediately met me at the front of the store and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He answered every single question I had without hesitation and was so knowledgeable and communicative about each aspect of the sale. What could have been an extremely stressful venture was made as easy and enjoyable as could be thanks to Joe’s help. 10/10 recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Ashley Furniture. I took my 80 year old mother to order a couch and chair before Thanksgiving, and we were explicitly told the items would be delivered no later than the first week of December. The chair was a floor model, so we assumed it would be simple. Instead, every two weeks they called my mom to push the date out again with no real explanation. She had no furniture for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years. After weeks of this, I finally went to the store myself—only to be told they still couldn’t guarantee when the couch or chair would arrive. At that point we offered to just buy the floor model, but they refused to sell it unless we purchased the entire set off the floor. No discount for a floor model, no flexibility, nothing. My mom was distraught, and the lack of empathy was unbelievable. To make matters worse, the delivery experience was just as bad. The furniture wasn’t wrapped, the delivery crew set the couches down in the mud, blocked five cars in the parking lot, and were extremely rude throughout the process. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever dealt with. I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again, and I strongly recommend others think twice before purchasing from them.

Ashley furniture offers decent furniture, but do not purchase the warranty’s. They refuse to honor them, we have been waiting almost 8 month for them to warranty on one cushion. I would not recommend purchasing anything from them go to some other furniture store that has proper service.

Tommy was a great help, and we are very excited for the new bed.

Spent $4000 on a new leather sectional, five separate pieces, which was delivered to my home. All but one piece were new in the box. The one piece was only wrapped in a piece of plastic. I didn’t understand why that piece wasn’t boxed. Almost two weeks later I discovered why this piece was not new in the box. I found stuffing coming out from under the cushion. When looked under the cushion, I found that the zipper was undone. No problem, I’ll just zip it up. Unfortunately the zipper is broken and when I tried zipping it just opens on the back side. I called the store to let them know. They told me they ordered a replacement piece. I received an email letting me know the new piece had arrived and I would need to bring the old piece back and pick up the new item. I asked that they delivered the replacement since they clearly sold me a defective used or returned piece of furniture that had already been opened. (They take pictures of the items when they deliver them) They refuse to deliver the replacement furniture unless I pay a delivery fee. I insisted, they still refused. Clearly once they take your money you are no longer important to them. Ashley for this you receive a poor review for the world to see, you could have rectified the situation by simply delivering the replacement for the defective, used furniture that you sold and delivered to me. You have also lost a long standing customer. I wish you could’ve done better.

Tommy was Amazon I needed to find furniture for my living room set. He was a very fast he thought about the decor even asked me what kind of wood I had 10 out of 10. Amazing I’m coming back to get my dining room set from him.

My husband and I purchase a couch, love seat and recliner 4th of July weekend and shortly after the foot rest on the love seat was hard to close as well as something sounded like it was rubbing on both sides every time you wanted to close the foot rest. I called Ashley’s customer service and explained what was going on, they ordered parts and sent out a technician, all he did was install it and shortly after the right side of the love seat on the side sounded like something was rubbing, I mentioned it to him and he said that was normal as the sides are made out of plastic and cheaply made. This love seat is giving us issues again. All the other pieces we’ve ordered have been great except for the love seat. I will be contacting customer service again tomorrow to see how they can help me…I’m frustrated as we were told by our salesperson that this was high quality furniture and our loveseat has caused nothing but issues. Spent too much money for this to be happening

The couches are lovely, delivery was wonderful, and even when a piece didn’t work in our space and we needed to swap it out, Chris took care of the exchange quick and efficiently. I loved there was no pressure, hassle, or headache, and my living room got a major upgrade!

I recently worked with Kellie and she was amazing!! I was calling to furnish my Dad’s 2 bedroom assisted living apartment. I was out of state and Kellie spent 3 hours picking out bedroom/office and living room furniture. She would send me images via text and gave me a couple of options. She was fantastic! Sadly, after all that I had to cancel the order as we needed to make other arrangements for my Dad. She was very understanding. I would absolutely use Kellie again and would refer my friends to her. I would refrain from going to this shop to people. I have made two purchases in last few years and there sales people try to sell you with mis-representation. Also, quality of stuff sold is sub-par. We found this very late when things didn't turned good and we spoke to them regarding refunds then you will see their true color. NEVER USE THEM FOR YOUR NEEDS and SAVE YOURSELF. SUPER FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. Never going to shop at this store ever. New update - They responded on the note to email me the issue along with the details and until now (2 weeks has past), there has been no response from them (not even acknowledgement). It is super frustrating and another bad experience so a sincere end user advice - DON"T USE THEM for your furniture needs. You will be just disappointed as it happened second time so they are only into sales and once they sold product, they don't care about the customer service.

I placed an order back in June of 2024. My furniture was said to take 2-3 months max as it was still being made and shipped. At the 3 month mark I called to ask for an update and was told it was back ordered further. By 4 months I called again to ask for an update and was told it was still on back order and likely wouldn’t be in for another month. By the 5th month mark it was getting shipped in, but Ashley furniture couldn’t get it delivered. I canceled this item at that time. The lack of communication was completely frustrating and you can tell they don’t care about their customers beyond the initial sale. They told me they refunded my purchase at this time, however, we are into a new year and I’m still waiting on the check. Easily the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I still have to call every week to see where my check is and everyone seems to tell me something different. Highly recommend ordering from basically anywhere else. You can get nicer furniture for lower costs that’s made in the US. You can also get better customer service anywhere else.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Ashley furniture in Shakopee. On November 24, my boyfriend and I went to Ashley furniture to pick out a couch. Anthony was the sales person that helped us. He was very friendly and helped us pick out exactly what we wanted. He told us about two weeks for our couch because they did not have the color in stores that we wanted. We got all checked out and paid and we’re just waiting for it to be delivered to our house. Throughout this time we have called Ashley furniture 5 to 10 times wondering when our couch will be delivered every single time we called we got a different date as to when our couch would be delivered and the day kept getting pushed further and further out than what we expected. If we would’ve known it, would’ve taken this long to get this couch we would’ve went somewhere else to get it because we were in need of a new couch. On December 9, they told us that part of our couch was in so we decided that we will just go pick up the two pieces that have arrived. We get home and unloaded the two new pieces of our couch into the house and open them to discover that they gave us two different color couches when I called Ashley furniture to tell them about what happened. The guy laughed at me on the phone. I was extremely angry and disappointed with the experience. I have been receiving from Ashley furniture at this time. They told us that when we come to pick up the other piece we could bring back the wrong color and exchange it. They offered us a $50 gift card to Ashley for the inconvenience. When my boyfriend went back to get the right color piece and exchange out the wrong color, they told us that by December 17 or 18th, the Ottoman and the other piece of our couch would be in. So my boyfriend and I have set aside time another time to rent a trailer and go pick up our couch. My boyfriend just called today to confirm that our couch was in and the person on the phone told us that now it will not be in until the beginning of January. I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience that they kept changing the dates and pushing it out further. And got the wrong color when we picked up part of it. This has been an exhausting experience and very frustrating because we have set aside time to be able to go figure this out and now we have to wait even longer and take off time again to come and get the other pieces and we still don’t have a date on them.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I am deeply dissatisfied with the service received from Ashley HomeStore at 4250 12th Ave E, Shakopee, MN 55379, regarding our recent purchase of a sectional sofa. On November 17, 2024, we purchased a sofa for approx. $3,400. When it was delivered to the curb on November 30, we discovered significant damages after unpacking: • The right-side wedge corner was damaged. • The bottom corner of the right-side sectional was also damaged. We promptly reported the issue, and Office Assistant Brendan Leis, he was understanding and helpful. He offered to exchange the damaged pieces with delivery scheduled for December 17. To compensate for the delay, he even promised complimentary in-home setup and emailed us an exchange invoice confirming the agreement. However, the situation took a turn, This morning, we received a voicemail from Brendan apologising for the confusion and stating we now had to pay for the in-home service he had previously promised as complimentary. When we called back to resolve the issue and follow the process as needed, Store Manager Brandon, from the start his behaviour was appalling and judgemental: • He was dismissive, unapologetic, and entirely unhelpful. • He deflected responsibility with irrelevant and incorrect comparisons (e.g., Costco delivery processes). • When corrected, he became defensive and argumentative, showing a complete lack of professionalism. • He also acted deceitfully and spoke inappropriately to my wife, adding insult to an already poor experience. This experience has left us frustrated, disillusioned, and regretting our decision to trust Ashley / FurnitureMart Store.

We had purchased a nursing chair from Ashley. When we brought it home we noticed some damage to its function. I called Ashley and they immediately scheduled a technician to come out at a time of our convenience(within normal business hours of course). The technician was great and we appreciated all of his help/insights. Thank you again to him! The piece needed to be replaced and Ashley Scheduled a replacement with pickup/delivery in a two week timeline. The new piece has no issues or concerns of any kind and is exactly what we were hoping to add to our home. Things happen and stuff breaks - how a company deals with it is strongly representative of their values and commitment to their customer base. I could not say enough positive things about our experience with Ashley. The follow up communication in-between calls and service was a couple of days: this can feel like a long time in today's world of "instant feedback" but they did reach-out/follow up in good fashion. I never had to reach out or pester Ashley during this process - they honored and delivered on everything they said at a very high level and in extraordinarily tight timelines.

Got talked into a more expensive mattress then have been having back problems since we got it. Could not return due to them not making it clear that if we didn’t buy their $20 cover we couldn’t use the guarantee.

Anthony is such a great consultant and really friendly. If I buy anything from Ashley again I will definitely will ask for Anthony.

Tommy did a great job of working with me. 5 starts for Tommy. My only issue was that I was in the store for nearly 20 minutes before Tommy approached me. This wasn't his fault as he was already helping someone when I came in. Tommy was very helpful given my challenge needs and time crunch and was very patient with me in the process. I never felt pressured to make any decision and ultimately got what I needed at a cheaper price than what I was replacing that I bought just the week before at a different store. Definitely coming back here and working with Tommy next time I have any furniture needs.

When buying a couch here, we were considering buying a warranty on our couch. The sales person said it would “literally cover everything, even if your kid took a knife to it, it would be covered”. So we decided to get it. We were simply moving it and a seam ripped on a cushion that does not detach, and they refused to cover it. I will never buy furniture from this company again.

Shopping was simple and straightforward, I like their designs, and their flat shipping rate is great, but unfortunately I had some issues with their on store information vs. their delivery information. I was told in store that my order would arrive at my home on a specific day in two weeks. On the determined day I had radio silence from their shipping department and called them up. Turns out they actually would not have my order in store (let alone ship it to me) for an additional two to three weeks and they have no idea why I was told my order would arrive on the date I was given. I have no idea why this happened, but I am not particularly pleased about this delivery date discrepancy. Had I know I was going to wait this long I would have purchased my furniture elsewhere.

I'm happy to say in this case I truly believe that quality is up across the board, most every product I looked at seemed better built than the last time I was shopping for furniture, which was a welcome surprise. Went back for another couch and chair today, and Tommy was so helpful working through our picky preferences and designing our tight space. We’ve researched and determined what we wanted, so walking into the Ashley store in Shakopee we had a good description of what we wanted to see. Brandon greeted us and listened to our story, what we wanted, etc. He led us to the set matching our requirements. We had a lot of questions, specifically about quality, configurations , etc. Brandon answered our questions honestly, he didn’t try upsell us or patronize us, he just listened and provided facts. We left our first visit to the store without buying anything, and Brandon was gracious and understanding about our need to further research. After a visit to slumberland to check out the lazy boy and flex steel options, we knew we wanted the Dunleith set at Ashley. We just ordered the furniture and it was a quick easy process. We worked with Bradford on our mattress purchase. He was very patient as my husband and I were at the store for over 2.5 hours. My sales/ customer support person, KRYSTAL, treated me with respect, and immediately saw past my wheelchair, and saw ME. I cannot stress how important this was / is. She helped me locate sofas that matched the style i described, and we found the perfect match for my new apartment! Even the color selection was great for my carpeting..
