I placed an order back in June of 2024. My furniture was said to take 2-3 months max as it was still being made and shipped. At the 3 month mark I called to ask for an update and was told it was back ordered further. By 4 months I called again to ask for an update and was told it was still on back order and likely wouldn’t be in for another month. By the 5th month mark it was getting shipped in, but Ashley furniture couldn’t get it delivered. I canceled this item at that time. The lack of communication was completely frustrating and you can tell they don’t care about their customers beyond the initial sale. They told me they refunded my purchase at this time, however, we are into a new year and I’m still waiting on the check. Easily the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I still have to call every week to see where my check is and everyone seems to tell me something different. Highly recommend ordering from basically anywhere else. You can get nicer furniture for lower costs that’s made in the US. You can also get better customer service anywhere else.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Ashley furniture in Shakopee. On November 24, my boyfriend and I went to Ashley furniture to pick out a couch. Anthony was the sales person that helped us. He was very friendly and helped us pick out exactly what we wanted. He told us about two weeks for our couch because they did not have the color in stores that we wanted. We got all checked out and paid and we’re just waiting for it to be delivered to our house. Throughout this time we have called Ashley furniture 5 to 10 times wondering when our couch will be delivered every single time we called we got a different date as to when our couch would be delivered and the day kept getting pushed further and further out than what we expected. If we would’ve known it, would’ve taken this long to get this couch we would’ve went somewhere else to get it because we were in need of a new couch. On December 9, they told us that part of our couch was in so we decided that we will just go pick up the two pieces that have arrived. We get home and unloaded the two new pieces of our couch into the house and open them to discover that they gave us two different color couches when I called Ashley furniture to tell them about what happened. The guy laughed at me on the phone. I was extremely angry and disappointed with the experience. I have been receiving from Ashley furniture at this time. They told us that when we come to pick up the other piece we could bring back the wrong color and exchange it. They offered us a $50 gift card to Ashley for the inconvenience. When my boyfriend went back to get the right color piece and exchange out the wrong color, they told us that by December 17 or 18th, the Ottoman and the other piece of our couch would be in. So my boyfriend and I have set aside time another time to rent a trailer and go pick up our couch. My boyfriend just called today to confirm that our couch was in and the person on the phone told us that now it will not be in until the beginning of January. I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience that they kept changing the dates and pushing it out further. And got the wrong color when we picked up part of it. This has been an exhausting experience and very frustrating because we have set aside time to be able to go figure this out and now we have to wait even longer and take off time again to come and get the other pieces and we still don’t have a date on them.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I am deeply dissatisfied with the service received from Ashley HomeStore at 4250 12th Ave E, Shakopee, MN 55379, regarding our recent purchase of a sectional sofa. On November 17, 2024, we purchased a sofa for approx. $3,400. When it was delivered to the curb on November 30, we discovered significant damages after unpacking: • The right-side wedge corner was damaged. • The bottom corner of the right-side sectional was also damaged. We promptly reported the issue, and Office Assistant Brendan Leis, he was understanding and helpful. He offered to exchange the damaged pieces with delivery scheduled for December 17. To compensate for the delay, he even promised complimentary in-home setup and emailed us an exchange invoice confirming the agreement. However, the situation took a turn, This morning, we received a voicemail from Brendan apologising for the confusion and stating we now had to pay for the in-home service he had previously promised as complimentary. When we called back to resolve the issue and follow the process as needed, Store Manager Brandon, from the start his behaviour was appalling and judgemental: • He was dismissive, unapologetic, and entirely unhelpful. • He deflected responsibility with irrelevant and incorrect comparisons (e.g., Costco delivery processes). • When corrected, he became defensive and argumentative, showing a complete lack of professionalism. • He also acted deceitfully and spoke inappropriately to my wife, adding insult to an already poor experience. This experience has left us frustrated, disillusioned, and regretting our decision to trust Ashley / FurnitureMart Store.

We purchased a sofa and warranty. The warranty company gave us the run around, and we still have not had the issue resolved after reaching out 4 times. The sofa frame broke when I placed my knee down while setting my 3 yrd old on it since he was not feeling well. The quality is just not there.

We had purchased a nursing chair from Ashley. When we brought it home we noticed some damage to its function. I called Ashley and they immediately scheduled a technician to come out at a time of our convenience(within normal business hours of course). The technician was great and we appreciated all of his help/insights. Thank you again to him! The piece needed to be replaced and Ashley Scheduled a replacement with pickup/delivery in a two week timeline. The new piece has no issues or concerns of any kind and is exactly what we were hoping to add to our home. Things happen and stuff breaks - how a company deals with it is strongly representative of their values and commitment to their customer base. I could not say enough positive things about our experience with Ashley. The follow up communication in-between calls and service was a couple of days: this can feel like a long time in today's world of "instant feedback" but they did reach-out/follow up in good fashion. I never had to reach out or pester Ashley during this process - they honored and delivered on everything they said at a very high level and in extraordinarily tight timelines.
Got talked into a more expensive mattress then have been having back problems since we got it. Could not return due to them not making it clear that if we didn’t buy their $20 cover we couldn’t use the guarantee.
Anthony is such a great consultant and really friendly. If I buy anything from Ashley again I will definitely will ask for Anthony.

Tommy did a great job of working with me. 5 starts for Tommy. My only issue was that I was in the store for nearly 20 minutes before Tommy approached me. This wasn't his fault as he was already helping someone when I came in. Tommy was very helpful given my challenge needs and time crunch and was very patient with me in the process. I never felt pressured to make any decision and ultimately got what I needed at a cheaper price than what I was replacing that I bought just the week before at a different store. Definitely coming back here and working with Tommy next time I have any furniture needs.
I had gone to 6 different furniture stores in two days and didn't find what I was looking for. My daughter-in-law suggested trying your store in Shakopee and I'm so grateful that she did. I expected to find nothing again , and disinterested sales people , but fortunately for me your store had Tommy Ruhl ! He showed me immediately what was available that I might be interested in. When I wasn't certain on a color he suggested that I check out the pillows of the chairs and ottomans that I was considering. I didn't realize that was an option. What a great idea ! So I did exactly that , and when I got the pillows home it was obvious to me which one worked the best. I now have exactly what I was looking for being delivered this week. When buying a couch here, we were considering buying a warranty on our couch. The sales person said it would “literally cover everything, even if your kid took a knife to it, it would be covered”. So we decided to get it. We were simply moving it and a seam ripped on a cushion that does not detach, and they refused to cover it. I will never buy furniture from this company again.

Went today to buy a table and couch. Super pushy sales guys who stalked us around the store. Mattress guy was even worse and told us what type of mattress we wanted and didn't listen to us on what we wanted. Went to check out on a table and the prices magically were higher then quoted and he lied about it he prices. Talked to a manager who didn't really care and we walked out with nothing but wasted our 3hrs.

Shopping was simple and straightforward, I like their designs, and their flat shipping rate is great, but unfortunately I had some issues with their on store information vs. their delivery information. I was told in store that my order would arrive at my home on a specific day in two weeks. On the determined day I had radio silence from their shipping department and called them up. Turns out they actually would not have my order in store (let alone ship it to me) for an additional two to three weeks and they have no idea why I was told my order would arrive on the date I was given. I have no idea why this happened, but I am not particularly pleased about this delivery date discrepancy. Had I know I was going to wait this long I would have purchased my furniture elsewhere.

Recently stopped in to look for a new couch and was happy to find exactly what I was looking for at a price that worked for me. I have purchased a decent amount of furniture from Ashely over the years, I have had quite honestly a very wide range of experiences with the products in terms of durability so I'm cautious to make sure what I get is well built. I'm happy to say in this case I truly believe that quality is up across the board, most every product I looked at seemed better built than the last time I was shopping for furniture, which was a welcome surprise. Anthony was very helpful in narrowing down what I was looking for and in getting the best price. Very knowledgable about the products and a great sense of humor!

Went back for another couch and chair today, and Tommy was so helpful working through our picky preferences and designing our tight space. Went there to buy a leather recliner. I don't know if I looked like a misfit or what. I saw at least 5 sales people all comfortably sitting or leaning up against furniture talking. I walked around looking for at least 15 minutes. Not once was I approached by one to see what I was looking for. I went to slumberland and bought a $1.700.00 recliner. Wake up Ashley.

We have been to all the furniture stores within a 30 mile radius of our home over the past month. We’ve researched and determined what we wanted, so walking into the Ashley store in Shakopee we had a good description of what we wanted to see. Brandon greeted us and listened to our story, what we wanted, etc. He led us to the set matching our requirements. We had a lot of questions, specifically about quality, configurations , etc. Brandon answered our questions honestly, he didn’t try upsell us or patronize us, he just listened and provided facts. We left our first visit to the store without buying anything, and Brandon was gracious and understanding about our need to further research. After a visit to slumberland to check out the lazy boy and flex steel options, we knew we wanted the Dunleith set at Ashley. We just ordered the furniture and it was a quick easy process. Bradford took the time to get to know our sleeping patterns before sampling the different options. He explained all of the options and didn’t start us off with the most expensive options first. My sales/ customer support person, KRYSTAL, treated me with respect, and immediately saw past my wheelchair, and saw ME. I cannot stress how important this was / is. Stopped in the MN location to see if they had two End tables in stock. They did-in their clearance area which was great. The young man helping us kept saying it was an 'older style that people just don't buy anymore'. That was the only thing that didn't seem very professional.
Ashley was a great experience. They let us shop as we wished without pressure or needing to personally show us everything (which we appreciated). They were conveniently and readily available when we had narrowed down some choices. We connected with Brandon and he knocked it out of the park, he educated us on options, availability, warranty and took some measurements for us. He was knowledge and his no pressure sales approach was perfect.

Good place to get your furniture, but when asked to put a protection insurance on your furniture. I recommend DON'T. The protection insurance is for 5yrs . You don't get your money back, you get store credit. Ashley furniture doesn't remind you about your insurance after 5yrs is over and you didn't use it. Who remembers this, Ashley furniture expects us to remember that we have insurance on our furniture. I forgot about the protection insurance on my furniture I bought from, and I lost my money. It's 5yrs who I this, if they don't remind you about this. DON'T PUT INSURANCE ON YOUR FURNITURE if you know you won't use it.
Welcomed immediately. Shown several sofas. As soon as I asked about recycling my old sofa, I was told I was on my own. Sales person left. I was in the store for at least another 1/2 - 3/4 hr. I looked at several more sofas.

He explained everything a person could need to know when in search of a solid, restful night's sleep. Plus, he answered every single question I had and even ones I didn't think of. Lol! I was amazed how he knew what bed and "support" my body actually needed vs what I was thinking it needed. I thought it needed softer but actually a step up in firmness was just the ticket to have me feeling like Goldilocks in a mattress that was "jusssst right"! I'm excited for Oct 4th when my new Tempur Pedic Pro Adapt Queen mattress w/ adjustable frame will be delivered and set-up. Bradford really went above and beyond for me in more ways then I could list here. I will say that his customer service skills are out of this world, he's a pleasure to work with, he sends customers away with his personal number in case of issues, plus when it comes to price he does his utmost to give you the best deal possible. Trust me, if you're searching for a mattress and headed to Ashley, definitely ask for Bradford!! You won't be sorry! 😁😁😁

The gentleman who helped me with my purchases, Bradford was knowledgeable and articulate. He made the purchase of a couple of mattresses very easy. I wished that I hadn’t bothered to visit 5 other mattress stores because in the end I came back to Ashley simply because of the quality of the service I received. The next furniture purchase I make I will start at Ashley first and skip all the other time wasters. My experience here was awesome.

2nd UPDATE: It is now August 8th (19 days since I sent my information for them to contact me) and I STILL have not received a phone call, email or text regarding this issue. UPDATE: Ashley Furniture responded to my review 7 days ago asking for me to email them my phone number so they could contact me. I still have not received an email response or a phone call! This is absolutely ridiculous! The customer service is horrendous! Terrible customer service and delivery team. They would not deliver the couch originally because they said that it wouldn't fit. I was hung up on twice. My phone calls were ignored until I dialed *67 to block my number. They wanted me to pay for 3 delivery fees. The assistant manager said she completely forgot about my delivery and did not even schedule it. Then she forgot to refund me the original delivery fee when the couch was not delivered. And now this 3rd delivery they ruined my door, door frame and wall because they came in with the widest part first and the feet on. And ar arguing that because there was already damage caused to the door that they absolutely did not do this. I was standing there watching them damage the door.

Bradford Wright in their sleep/ bed department is extremely skillful and knowledgeable with beds. Out of the 10 sleeping specialist/ salesman ive dealt with he was by far the best. Very trustworthy as well. His demonstrations were very effective at showing the points he had to make.
Very bad post sales service, many of ky furnitures which I bought from there got distorted for some top part pealed off and when I complained they sent someone to check and that guy reported as were and tare that was with in 8-9 months of when we bought, it was a terrible experience. We spent a lot to set up our new house from here and did not get any support later. Will not buy any furniture ever.

They set up delivery and set up for my bed but sent the guy with some of the pieces and not all so they couldn't put the bed together so I asked where are the other pieces (mind you I ordered them 3 weeks ago) the other one was just going on the truck that day so I waited a few days and was told I had to go pick it up so I go pick it up and it's the wrong piece so I will be calling as much as they change for furniture the quality should be better and service should be too! I was given a refund for the problem about set up so I just put the bed together myself because I would have to wait just to get it put together doesn't work for me

The store is huge with an adjacent Furniture mart. I moved to a new home and was looking for a new living room set. There is lot of variety. The prices are on the higher side. The staff is nice, ready to help all the time.

Bought an adjustable bed from 8 years bought the 10-year warranty between them and the adjustable bed company still haven't been able to get a replacement because they can't fix it. Very frustrating

It seems unbelievable that such a renowned company that sells its products at such high prices can have customers so uninformed after spending 25 days waiting for the bedroom set, they don't send me the bed because there aren't any and they never called to ask if the bed is still missing. I wanted the rest. I wonder why I want the room set without a bed, what they should pay me today at work because I couldn't go to wait for the purchase and tomorrow I won't be able to work either because according to them they come looking for them I still don't believe anything after having provided such poor service. If this company continues to defraud customers, their sales will disappear.

My husband and I walked in today looking for some furniture in order to furnish our new home. We’d looked at a few places and couldn’t find anything we were super in love with. We met Tommy at this location and he was super helpful with suggestions and finding the perfect furnishings we wanted. We got super lucky because everything we wanted was in stock as well so there wasn’t any extra waiting time for us. Definitely will be coming back here in the future for other things :)

Shout out to Victor for helping my husband and I find a bed we could both agree upon. We came into the store several times over the course of a week to test out several mattresses and work with Victor, who was not only knowledgeable about the merchandise but a great sales associate to work with. He remembered our names, our children, which mattresses we liked/didn’t, what side of the bed we slept on, etc. He made what we were finding a complicated and overwhelming purchase at other stores fun and easy. I could go on and on saying great things about how easy it was to work with Victor! My only “negative” comment about our time spent in Ashley was when we came in the 3rd time and Victor was wearing a lab coat…. Apparently it was a sleep doctor coat. It came off very gimmicky and we joked about it, but honestly I’m glad he wasn’t wearing it the first time I was in the store as it may have turned me off from doing business. He was very knowledgeable, but the coat made him seem like a joke. The bed purchase was a lot of money - I’m not sure I would have felt comfortable moving forward with that with someone I didn’t feel like I could trust in a “Halloween costume”. He is not an actual doctor - he shouldn’t be an a doctor’s coat.

The guardian protection policies are a joke. I put a claim in almost a year ago and the guardian company keeps jacking me around. Ashley furniture endorses these guardian policies which are not truly helpful at all. I had a spill on my couch cushion and was like ohh it’s all good I paid 99$ in case of accidents. I put a claim in. They have to send a “technician” out to investigate this. They say it’s schedule but no one shows up. Then another time they can’t find a technician for our area. I try to talk to someone on the phone and have been on hold for over 30 min. And still no call back or anyone answers. I hope this review will reach another customer to save them from WASTING their money on the guardian protection policy which means nothing it’s just throwing money away.

The prices of furniture is outrageous! It might not be Ashley's fault but I wonder why the prices of even the Clearance has you grasping for air! This is a humungous location with about three brands under one roof. You can find parking really easy, close to the door. They have about three entrances, I haven't experienced this location in its busy time/season but I would assume you're free from a packed parking lot. You can find a variety of items here, leather, and any other items you might think of. Staff weren't around, not sure why but its a huge location so they could've been on the other side of the store. I don't know much about their deals or shipping but hopefully it helps with the prices being sky high! LOL. I'll return to see if I can learn more.
Could not be less pleased — Logan was our salesperson and mislead us completely on how long it would take to receive our furniture. He told us 12/2 (already a long time but we were happy to wait). We had trouble with the few pieces that they had in stock (he didn’t actually schedule delivery when he told me he did). We left a message at the store for him to call us when furniture never shows up and he never did. It simply appeared at one point. Now he still won’t call us back and our order has been pushed back MONTHS. I would not have bought it if I’d known that would happen and the customer service rep said that he should t have misled us because all of these time frames are estimates. She then told us it would be just a few more weeks. UPDATE: I finally heard back from Logan who told us the furniture would be 3 months late (later than customer service even said) and does not have any kind of discount or any way of making this less stupid. Basically he said we’re out of luck. Would never do business here again. Bought furniture from Becker two weeks ago and received them all already with great service and prices.

I’ve been buying from Ashley Furniture for years. I recently had an excellent experience by Kellie at the Shakopee location. She was very attentive and asked the right questions. Kellie was very knowledgeable and cleared an issue I was having for 2 months. I highly recommend Kellie to work with, she’s easy to work with and helps as much as she can.
Since I called before I went there, the salesman knew exactly what I needed. I was able to try a couple of items and be on my way in about 15 minutes.
They sell junk product and ever worse warranties. The recliner I got from them has squeaked from month two. The table scratches if you barely touch it. The sectional frame just started to fail in the middle because there isn’t enough support and it’s only two years old. When I reached out to guardsman about my warranty that I bought and was told covered everything except the rocking mechanism in the chair they rejected both the frame issues and a tear in the tables cushions saying neither was covered. I am not sure what is covered but I will never buy anything with guardsman’s name on it or Ashley furniture

I bought a TV stand at the Shakopee location to be delivered to my house. In store service was very good. The issue I have is when I went to put it together it became apparent that this stand was not a brand new one after all. There were a couple of chips on the side plus one of the brackets was busted off I was able to fix that. My main issue is that we spent money for a new one and got a broken refurbished one instead. I know I'm just one person making a complaint, but I was in customer service for over 20 years and I know a upset customer tells 9 people while a happy customer tells 1. and I already have spread the word to be careful about buying at Ashley's if at all.

Don’t waste your time or money here! My SO and I came in two weeks ago to look at couches. We ended up buying one, and having to return it after measuring the space. It just wasn’t going to work. We called that same evening to pause the order and come back in the morning. The Sales member was helpful and understanding as we looked around for a better fit. We ended up wondering into Furniture Mart (which is connected to Ashley’s and share a system.) We found a couch we liked that would fit perfectly, and much less expensive. The Ashley’s employee said they would put our money as store credit to use at Furniture Mart, and FM would refund the difference. After check-out at Furniture Mart, they said the remaining balance would be refunded after delivery. Delivery was delayed due to a driver being sick. It was rescheduled. Two days after delivery, I called about the refund. I reiterated wanting the refund to go back to the card it came from. She said billing department would call me back, and she repeated my phone number back. HEIDI from the Ashley Billing department called my SO instead of me and left a voicemail about sending the refund by check in the mail. I tried calling her back, and no answer. Left a voicemail and still haven’t heard back. Terrible and lazy customer service on her part. Also, make sure you look on their website at the prices and compare to the in-store ones. Outrageous difference.

Had a great experience with Victor and Chris Edel. I needed a bed asap to accommodate an unexpected guest. Victor listened to what I needed, addressed any issues, gave me options. He clearly has a lot of experience with taking care of people. Victor made sure I left that day with everything I needed instead of having to visit another store. Chris assisted me in getting a dining room table and some end tables. He also did a good job with hearing me out and pointing me in the right direction. Was happy to hear that I could receive everything in about a month (pretty quick these days imo). He really went to bat for me regarding prices and availability. These guys worked hard to make sure I was taken care of. I left the store feeling awesome about the deals and the experience overall. Thank you guys!
Bought a new couch for the basement
Brandon Hoium was amazing. I bought a new couch from here and when we unwrapped at home, my girlfriend and I noticed it was broken. I brought it to the store forgetting that they had to have the same couch in stock before we processed a re-order. He referred me to different stores that currently had the same couch in stock and could do the re-order the same day. He also gave me a $50 gift card for the inconvenience. He didnt have to do that and I wasnt even expecting it. Brandon deserves more than just Store Manager. Promote my boy to district manager!
I moved to Minnesota in August. I purchased a couch and reclining chair. I am here 10 months and the furniture is just a mess. The chair back is loose and wiggles and the couch cushions are so worn down and flat. There's only two of us living here and we both work, so nobody is abusing this stuff...it's just pure cheap! You get what you pay for, so pay a little more and get decent furniture.

Good place to buy furniture, liked the fact that Furniture Mart is also interconnected from within the store. Options are good but due to some reason , stocks are always low and can take up months for orders to arrive.

I purchased a sofa love seat combo 2.5 yrs ago I was talked into.buying the insurance. It does not cover accidents as they stated. I have a dog. However the cushion is worn and the fabric tore. This accidentally done obviously not on purpose. The company denied my claim! Go figure. So i go online to try to buy replacement cushions and the cover. They still sell the exact set. But now say its a different set. Its not. They dropped the inc! I just want the cushions and cover. I do not want to re purchase another set. Nothing else is wrong When i called customer service. Omg! Rude!!!!! People. They will not sell me the cushions or cover. Theybsay i neef the serial number. They have the information butbsay theybfont carry it when the set there selling now is the exazt set! Its a game. I just bought a dining table and chairs. Brand new. They wobble. No floor sveres camevwith it. So it can scratch my floors. Now they tell me to call corporate office. Ha ha. So i think rhey and the insurance company are both a joke! So the reason i believe they did not cover the insurance is because they dont or wont sell replacement cushions or covers. No they want you to buy a entire new set!! .i work in the apartment industry and recommend furniture to many customers. I will be letting them know go elsewhere. 1 more thing. When i bought my doning set. I was looking for assistance. I asged a gal if shevworked there. She said. No! But shevdid then she very unfriendly said what do you need. I said i wanted to make a purchase. She was not real excited. And i met her at the counter to ck out. Again. Not nice. I told her i had an account and a coupon and asked could intake a photo and send to get the discount she said did not rhink so. I oredered anyways and had to call the store mgr to get the discount. This was the sixth furniture store visited while looking to buy a couch. It was easily our favorite. We were helped by Chase, who was impressively knowledgeable on every piece of furniture we looked at (probably every piece in the store). I liked the way he did not smother us like some other sales associates at other stores. He gave us enough room to browse peacefully but continued to check-in with us. He is the reason we will go back for our next purchase.

Didn't go through first time oryou deleted it. Recliner was suppose to be leather on all main parts. Foot rest pelled off after 4 months. You replaced it,did same .Called got a snotty rude female. Told me you had a year nothing we will do, I said foot rest cover was same junk. She hung up!

Specifically asked about the extended warranty and if it covered damage to the cushions from a dog. They went and checked and said yes. It would be covered. Lies......when i called to get a cushion repaired they said it isnt covered due to animal damage.....wont be back

I’ve been waiting for months for one small furniture item and I’ve been told months and month out each time I call. They never update you and they will always ALWAYS blame their colleagues. Are there any warranty on mattresses? One year ago we bought a king mattress paid over $ 1000 for it, now one year almost to the day it is a lumpy mess. We can't even sleep on it, back hurts so bad it's not even worth trying to sleep on. I'm discussed with the low quality.

Got them within 6 days the only thing is if you order a 3rd chair I didn't get the hardware for that chair. But other wise very good service and friendly and good value. 👍
Victor was amazing in taking care of my son. He made sure my son was happy with his new bed set and took the extra personal time. I was also impressed with all of the other team members. They're all very friendly and had a very welcoming atmosphere. I will never go anywhere else to buy my furniture unless it's at Ashley's Home Store in Shakopee Minnesota!

Im beyond annoyed with this company. Have ordered before and it was not this bad as it is now. I order back in March and have been given on several times different time frames of when my furniture will be in. Its really so horrible. Ive called their customer service and have been promised to get a call back from their manager or sales rep to just cancel at this point because im so fed-up with lies.... i ordered in March and was told mid of April got a time for delivery so i threw out our old mattress to get ready for our new bedroom set and then got told they were waiting on railings. I just had a baby so ive been sleeping ON THE FLOOR with my newborn since then. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. I shouldve just gone elsewhere where they did the same set. Im so beyond annoyed with this place whatever happened to their great products and service is trash now. Do not buy, save yourself the time and buy elsewhere!

My only complaint is that the decor that was against the back wall is all gone and things look sparse. I was told this was due to a corporate decision. I heartily disagree and hope upper management reverses course on this.
I have an almost 20 year old Ashley couch and love seat in my house, so I thought when we needed a new couch and recliner we could look at Ashley as a cheaper option compared to say Lay-Z-Boy or other furniture stores. I was correct in that they were cheaper, but it appears in that 20 years the prices are not the only thing that has lowered, so has the quality of the furniture and the level of service. All of the products did not have the build quality that I remember from before and the fabrics and finishes were not as nice. The sales staff was "attentive" in a bad way. He always swooped in when my wife and I were talking to each other and answering questions we didn't ask him. And the one time we actually had a question, he was out on a smoke break (we were there for maybe 20 minutes at most). They do offer cheaper furniture solutions for families and there is a need for that, but the sales staff could use quite a bit of work.

Kellie at Ashley Furniture in Shakopee was off the charts. From the second we walked into the store until we walked out. She gave us the ultimate customer service and was very knowledgeable in the product we were looking for. Yesterday we went to three other furniture stores and none of them gave us the time of day. As well as the furniture quality and price for what we were looking for. Too bad for those 3 other stores cause they lost out on a $2,000 plus sale. After purchasing a pullout sofa in the store, I went to the Ashley website and found the exact sofa for just under $600 less than what I paid in the store. To their credit, I went back and they matched the price but it doesn't seem like I should have needed to do that. Either the sales person should have known that price or he was trying to add to my cost. Either way, I was not happy with my experience.

I was looking for new living room furniture and my sales person wade made suggestions about what would work best for me NOT what works best for him. He made a lot of good points about different types of furniture. What type of material would be best in a house with animals etc. (which I had not even thought about). BEWARE! The "free delivery" means they leave it in your driveway. Their delivery crew will show up at your doorstep not wearing masks even when asked to put some on. This is a major liability. Shame on them. Disappointing as I was a repeat customer and planned on making additional purchases in the near future as the product is good.

My experience with this store has been amazing! We found furniture at another store, but they didn't have it in stock. I was able to call this store and speak to Kyle Edel and he found that they had 1 couch and 1 recliner in stock and the other couch that we wanted was going to take 2-3 weeks. Today (5 days later) BOTH couches were delivered along with the recliner!!! I am so happy with this purchase. It was stress free and done completely over the phone. I highly recommend this store and will continue furnishing my new home through them.

Spent around $3000 this past Summer. Due to Covid there was a lot of delays on getting the product. The sales person never called me once to update when the product was arriving. I had to reach out multiple times to find out that one piece was delayed for multiple months. After months of no communication I finally decided to cancel that piece. The quality of the items that I received was below expectations. The sectional started pilling quickly, the table scratched and scuffed easily, and the rocker chair creaked worse then your grandpas 20 year old rocker. I have had them look at the chair twice and all they did was tighten the bolts and say it was fixed and within the day the issue continued. Last week I called after the tech basically ran out the door after only being here for 5 minutes saying he had magically fixed it and they were going to have the manager look into it and get back to me by Wednesday. When I called today, Friday, the manager still hadn't looked into the issue. Since August, I have called them 7 times and they have called me 0 times. *update* Manager never did call me back. After they missed another promised call back, I called them today. The rep looked into the issue and the manager said all they could do was waste more of my time with sending a repairman to tighten bolts and fix the issue for 5 minutes. I filled a complaint with the BBB today demanding replacement or refund. If that doesn't happen, I will probably look into filling a complaint with the AG.

Had our keys yesterday for our new house and didn’t fully move in, we lived 40 miles away from our new place and I had to drive 40 miles to make it and the delivery guys couldn’t wait and left while I was away about three minutes. 😡😡😡😡😡
Stopped in for a 12" hybrid mattress in a box. Les helped my husband and I and was very pleasant and knowledgeable on mattresses. This mattress is incredibly comfortable and a GREAT deal! I would highly recommend this item and making a stop to shop here! 🌟
Update: Ashley clearly gives zero $%!& about their customers. Whomever they're outsourcing to respond to these reviews not only doesn't respond back (it's been over two months without response to the email I sent at THEIR request), but it would appear that the 3rd party "customer service" sells customer information because I've gotten a whole slew of unsolicited calls immediately following giving them my number. Way to go, guys... Original Review: I will never buy from Ashley again. I paid $2,500 for a couch set only to have the cheap piece of junk break within a month. Since we didn't buy the furniture care plan, we have to pay out of pocket for the repair. On top of that, their repair techs only service my area one fixed day a week. Even though I have two weekdays off from work, I still have to take a full day off because they only come out to my location on Mondays. What a freakin' joke! Never again.
We went here looking for office furniture and ended up with new living room furniture haha. Alvon was our sales rep and was awesome. He answered all of our questions and and helped with options. They have agreed selection and you can special order stuff.

Staff is usually pretty helpful however my wife and I feel that they do not refresh their inventory often enough. We bought furniture over a year ago and stopped in just recently (we were in the area). As we browsed the store, we saw mostly the same ole furniture we saw more than a year ago. There is a strong dominance of "country" style too. That is not a bad thing in itself, but we would like to see more variety I guess... Other than that, its a decent place for furniture... best in the area for sure. I give it a 3 because of the things I've mentioned above.

UPDATE: Ended up returning the table and bought one from somewhere else. Emailed the address below as requested and never received a response. Would not recommend this store or company at all. You can find furniture that is just as nice for half the price at many other stores, including Target (where our new table came from). My wife and I have had a horrible experience with this company. Ordered furniture on Black Friday in the store knowing it wouldn't be delivered until around Christmas. It was initially pushed back to mid January and since then we have had 5 different deliveries and with each delivery we have had to call the store back to exchange furniture because it wasn't put together properly or it was damaged. We have had multiple delivery orders not have items that were supposed to be delivered as well. The worst part is every time I call, it seems as if no one knows about the exchanges or how the orders could have gotten messed up. The only positives from all of this have been the delivery guys (all incredibly nice, efficient, and careful) and Victor at Furniture Mart. He sold us our mattress and was incredible throughout the whole process.

We purchased our new mattress set, and sectional at the same time. We had recently adopted to cats, and explained we needed something that would hold up with cats. Well two years later and the cushions are shredded - not from the cats but the actual fabric is falling apart. We purchased the protection plan and they denied it for repair. Their sales people are pushy, and tell you whatever you want to hear to make the sale - instead of the truth.

I wish I could give this store zero stars. I want to be clear that I almost never leave reviews and am someone who rarely complains (I’ve worked in customer service for so long). Anyways, I made a decent size purchase at this store. Roughly $4,000 for a dining set, sectional, bed and box spring. I’ll start with the positive and say that Chase did a phenomenal job with my sectional and dining set. He was so informative and kind. If this review was just on his sales, it would be a five star. Where things went wrong was with my mattress. After spending nearly $1,700 on a bed, box spring and mattress protector I’m furious about how deceptive the sale was. The sales man informed me if I didn’t buy the mattress protector, the sale would be final once the mattress leaves the store (makes sense). The problem is that he told me if I purchased the mattress protector, I could have the mattress returned and my money back. He failed to say it would only be for a store credit and not a refund. In addition to that, I took the staples out of the sheet and found that there was an inside to the carbon paper. This is where the comfort exchange policy is located. Not on the front or back. This to me is very sneaky. Not only was I given false information about getting my money back, the policy was hidden and was never discussed. In addition, the paper was stapled with his business making it appear as if it’s just a front sheet. Now I am stuck with a mattress that isn’t working for me. I don’t want a store credit as I already purchased everything I need from that store and was gifted with a mattress from a friend. The whole situation felt sneaky and deceitful and I have documentation that I will be submitting with a better business bureau claim next week. I’m very disappointed after speaking to the sales person on the phone and a manager.
I bought some end tables here that I received all busted up. When I brought them back to return them, the salesman gave me the desk phone and made me call in the return!

The store manager named Brandon is rude and disrespectful. He should not be a store manager. He got to respect all customer equal. I really appreciate manager Chris for follow up with the issue I had with the store manager. I will diffntly do business with Ashley furniture again.

We had looked at a lot of furniture stores for a sectional couch under 2,000 dollars. At most of them we were attacked by salesmen and the furniture was either too expensive or not up to our standards. Eric was the salesman who helped us. He was very good at giving us our space but also being available to help us answer all our questions. He was also very personable and friendly. Would recommend!

I ordered furniture in October 2019 for my new home and received them in around 6 weeks but some items were damaged and informed Ashley. Ashley representative said they will replace damaged items and it took another 6-8 weeks to contact me for delivery, the guy who delivers got wrong replacement item and told me that they will correct and resend it. Its April 2020 now and haven't received the replacement.

They are eager to sell you stuff, but apparently not so eager for you to drive away with it. Had to wait at the loading dock for 45 mins before someone finally came to give us our new furniture.

Went in, tried a few mattresses for about 30mins (no one came to help). Picked out a mattress that I liked and found the nearest rep. He was friendly and told me this wasn't his department and took me over to a lady who had been on her computer the entire time I was in her department trying the mattresses out. The lady was so incredibly rude and arrogant that I almost cancelled my order after it had been placed. She also made it seem like she was doing me a favor by waiving a $1.50 difference in tax because the mattress was being shipped from their Fridley store even though she mentioned at the beginning that there was no charge to have that done. Worst service ever, go to Schneidermans, or HOM, or Discount Furniture Mart (in Savage, they have Ashley furniture anyways). Didn't think that the process of just paying for something would be so infuriating. The lady was also supposed to call once the mattress was in, which was supposed to be the first weekday (Monday). Two days later, still no call. She also told us that someone signed for my receipt, and had to go print another one.... How does that get mixed up?
Bought my daughter a new 11 piece bedroom suite as a highschool graduation present, she loves it!
I ordered 2 chairs, kitchen table, 6 chairs and a bed last Tuesday, 11/26. I spent over $10,000. I was told that it was to be all delivered on Wednesday, 12/4. My husband stayed home to take delivery of the items. I got a call from the delivery person stating they would be there in 20 minutes. Perfect, they came with only the bed to be delivered. I called the Shakopee store and they told me that the sales person put on the sheet for pick up. I was transferred to delivery back and forth 3 times. NO one would take responsibility. I asked to talk with a manager at both sites. I got a call from Marcia in Sioux Falls SD. She said she would call the store and set up the delivery. When she called back and said it would be 8 more days for the other items to be delivered. Marcia didn't care that my house was in disarray because I moved all my other furniture to accomodate the new furniture. My husband and myself are very angry about the entire transaction. So I called the store and told them to cancel my order. Marcy in the Shakopee store said sure, the $2,200 would go back on my card within 2 to 5 days. brought family to store to purchase new mattress set. Promptly greeted at door by Chase, and asked to be taken to a mattress specialist (most stores have them and they know their stuff.) Chase brought us to Les Appelt. (On the way the store manager Hector took the time to welcome us and say hello! Les was cordial, listened well and assisted my daughter in deciding upon which mattress she would best like. Stayed in budget, found good comfort, quality, did not oversell it, made sure they had the proper accessories, so we would not have to go elsewhere to complete the purchase. Store was neat, clean, well staffed, mattress display was clean, and very neat. Brands they had on display: tempurpedic, Sealy, Restonic Delivery set up and done in under one hour. As a former furniture sales associate my expectations are quite high, and I must say, this team hit every measure of success this past Sunday 12/29. Side notes: bathrooms clean and impeccable, parking lot clean (good sign), associates all "available" not talking with each other. Customer service desk neat and clean. Ask for Les or Katy, in the Ashley store. If you want to go into their Mart store, ask for Victor or Bree. I personally observed them all and they were working hard!
We stopped at the store and walked around for an hour. And nobody asked if we needed help once. We left to look at other stores. I really liked the set at Ashley, so we went back. We were there the second time for about 30 minutes, again nobody helped us. We sat down and a sales person just smiled and walked by. We got up to leave and the same sales person ended up walking right behind us not saying a word or asked if we needed help. We decided that we would just order online...when going to do so, we found the same set through 1 Stop Bedrooms for $800 less! So thank you Ashley for your horrible customer service and leading us to saving money!

Average looking furniture store. Was greeted at the door by someone who told me they would send an associate to help me in a minute. That minute turn into more like 10 minutes and no one ever came over so I left. Could be that I was dressed in dirty work clothes and didn't look like I had a lot of money to spend. Their loss. My work clothes were dirty from the house renovations I was doing and I needed to buy furniture for the entire home. I took my over $25,000 worth of business to HOM instead.
Man started helping me, he received a phone call, so a lady started helping me an just disappeared... SMH. Plenty of other places that sell furniture!!!
It's a good store. They have a good collection and you can get a good discount if you wait for the deals. Even though I ended up not buying anything, I felt that the staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back here next time to see if I find something that fits my requirements.

We purchased our living room set at the end of August. It's over two weeks and our stuff has not been delivered. The first time, they had the wrong phone number (our old landline that's been out of service for years). Shouldn't the driver call the office and ask for a different number? We asked the finance person to remove the old number, but I guess that detail didn't happen. Then, we rescheduled for a Tuesday (today). Again, no delivery. When checking with the store, they said it was scheduled for Thursday. I'm not even home on Thursday. It's unacceptable that the salesperson changed the delivery date without notifying me. I drove to the store and cancelled the order today. They didn't try to make it right or anything. Maybe someone should ask me why I wanted to cancel? I guess the store manager doesn't give two-shakes about making the sale or keeping a customer. The first time I purchased from Ashley was back in the 1990's when they cared about customer service. Those days are over. **Update** Sept 24. I received a phone call from the manager, Hector, the day after I cancelled my order. We negotiated a new deal but my rocker/recliner had already been sold and delivered to someone else in the past 24 hours. I purchased the furniture anyway. I had to take a full day off because the delivery was scheduled for a 9am-12pm time. The delivery guys were great but I'm still waiting for my chair. I will update as it becomes available. UPDATE Sept. By Saturday I had my chair in my house. The furniture quality seems great. The big question... will I go back to Ashley next time? Probably. Because I lived in the county where Ashley is made (Trempealeau, WI) and feel some loyalty to USA furniture - although my stuff was probably made overseas :(

We have purchased a couple different items from Ashley over the past couple of years. The mattress has been great. Any other furniture we have purchased (bar stools & a sectional sofa) get very worn and/ or are falling apart within the first 4 months of having them. Not to mention the horrible customer service.We ordered a new cushion for our sectional in June. Never received an ETA for the cushion. We are now into the middle of September. We have called the store once a week for the past 6 weeks asking for an update so we know when to expect a fully functional couch again and have consistently been told that they will request an update from the manufacturer and call us back. We have never once received a phone call back in the 6 weeks of calling and to top it off, when I called today to ask yet again, we were told it was finally in. Gee, thanks for the phone call so we knew it was in! Not!! Then, upon picking it up, we get home to find out that they sent the cushion for the chase but the cover for a standard cushion! Once again, called customer service and was first asked how I knew it was the wrong cover and asked if I had tried to put it on the cushion first. This cover is 1/3 of the size of the cushion! I was told they would reorder but cannot expedite the process (which the woman laughed at that request like it was just a completely assinine question) and once again, would "call me back with an ETA." The quality of this furniture is not worth the price, nor the stress of dealing with the incompetent customer service reps! Don't waste your time!

I shopped most of my furniture at this place ,quality is good ..they’ve good service ..but only issue here is the shipping you’ll have to pay for the shipping around 89$ or something ..if you buy a mattress then you’ll get the shipping free (which I don’t understand the logic behind)..Prices are somewhat reasonable..
We spent weeks shopping for the perfect bedroom furniture set at multiple stores around the metro area. My husband and I came to Ashley furniture in Shakopee multiple times and each visit we were encouraged to do research and were never rushed into a decision. We were choosing between two bedroom sets, one half the price of the other, and we still felt the associates helped us make the right decision for us. ALSO, the delivery was quick and the movers were considerate and kind. They had a heck of a time getting all of the set into the second floor of our small townhome and still did so with no complaints or damage.
The first part of the store my experience was wonderful the Furniture Mart side wasn't a great experience. The salesman talked fast just wasn't friendly. I ended up going back to the main part of the store the salesman that assisted me was helpful and looked things up for me, I ended up purchasing furniture from him.
They always have what we were looking for. Staff is friendly and incredibly helpful.

GREAT experience at the Shakopee location of Ashley Furniture! We purchased a bed and had some minor issue once we took delivery. Both the GM Hector and our Sleep Specialist Katy were there to help us every step of the way and resolved our issue to our complete satisfaction! This store location has horrible customer service once you've made your purchase (they get sales # for their location). And warehouse gives you the wrong item, and blames it on your pickup. Will not be returning that's for sure.

Great experience at this store. Furniture store sales employees are usually my least favorite people on the planet. The guy that helped us was very helpful and knowledgeable. Zero pressure or sales attitude, he just let us look around and we ended up buying a recliner we really liked.

Absolutely the worst experience I have had by far from any furniture store and or regarding customer service .This was my second attempt purchasing through Ashley Furniture and more so this location in general. Customer service within the store is fine, once they know they have a sale though it switches a great deal. My delivery was set, on this day every piece of furniture came into my place with damage from paint chips, to wood damage, and even a huge crack down the back panel of a t.v. stand. Not to mention damage made to my ceiling and floor. I soon voiced not being happy with items and started to hear huffing and puffing from one of the two delivery personnel. This alone made me uncomfortable. Same day I made complaints and asked for a full refund after experiencing horrid customer service. Not one person involved in my situation was on the same page. There was a lot of he said she said from who responded and who didn't as far as managment. Calls nor emails were responded to in a timely manner if at all. I had to talk to more than several people regarding my issues. Ashley Furniture goes through a third party delivery service which is just as bad if not as bad. I received a call regarding the damage done to my home and was completely taken back by how I was talked to and of the few options I was given as far as help. Needless to say it's been over a week and I am just now receiving a delivery driver for pick-up and will have to wait another 3-5 days for my remaining refund. I would not recommend buying through Ashley Furniture and even more this location. There are plenty of options for furniture purchases. Most even price match. Learn from my experience and save yourself the grief. PLEASE!!

Worst shopping experience ever!!! No one told me the furniture I bought is back order when I placed order. It takes more than 3 months for me to wait for all pieces. By this time, I still not receive night stands and the storage draws under bed, because my agent FORGOT to put them in my order. More ridiculously, when delivery the dinning table, they only packed the table top and forgot table legs!!! And I had to wait another day at home for table legs!!! What do u think people are doing everyday? Is it reasonable for a person takes off 3 work days and wait at home for one order?!!! Not going to buy from this store anymore!!! Thanks for the terrible lesson!

Terrible shipping/processing system. I have ordered a few times from the Ashley and Furniture Mart in Shakopee - I have yet to be satisfied with the shipping/delivery process. They say it will take approx. 3 weeks to receive your items but in reality it takes nearly 2 months. I've also had items simply not arrive and then I don't receive them for another month. In a world where 2 day delivery is standard, I think 3 weeks is a feasible request. I will not be ordering from this store again.

The sales experience was fine but the after service is awful. Just Google "Ashley Furniture Reviews" and see for yourself. They are rated 1.1 stars on consumer affairs. We were living in a temporary home while our house was being built and had Ashley move in the couch for us. The couch started pilling within a month so we called to make a claim. More than once we called the warranty department about our couch pilling and we were never called back. In less than 6 months the couch looks terrible. When we were moving out I noticed a 6" gash on the side and under the bottom (dust cover) of our couch. Clearly caused by a razor blade/utility knife. I called to make the claim but they couldn't get anyone to inspect it until after we moved. The inspector said we needed to shave our couch for the pilling issue and they would call me back about the gashes...3 weeks and no call so I called today. They denied the claim and blamed the gashes on the move. We have pictures of the cut before we moved. (I'll try to add the pics later today) They are unwilling to help us out. Don't waste your time or money here. I would suggest you avoid Ashley Furniture and Furniture USA all together. I will never shop there again and the 30 people coming to our house warming party on New Years Eve will hear all about this experience.

0 stars. Purchased a dining room table with their promise that it would be in stock and delivered in the two weeks. Two weeks passed no contact. After calling and getting the run-around with 3 call backs involved Im finally told the table will be available in 2 months at the soonest... Quite a stretch from two weeks. Im then told if I get a refund they are not obligated to order the table for us. So now these dishonest people have my money locked up for the indefinite future. Update 2: After the "concerned" Google maps review response from corporate I emailed them as suggested. Nobody from corporate ever contacted me back. Lovely. Update 3: It's been more than 2 months and again we had to call Ashley for an update. Turns out our table and chairs are in... and have been for a week... We asked about delivery and got the usual 4 hour 4-6 hour window. Also got a little more info on delivery procedures, "if you are not there when they deliver we will have to charge you for redelivery." A repeat my original point, greedy and dishonest people. Update 4: 3 months later we have our table. Terrible experience overall.
Customer service sucked
I went in just to look. Finally asked for help from an associate, McKenzie, and she put up with me beyond expectations. She answered all my questions, tracked down someone who could if she couldn't, and never once made me feel like I was a burden. She made the whole process less stressful and dare I say fun. I decided to purchase furniture and everyone else I dealt with (financing) was just as nice and polite. It actually felt like I mattered as a customer. I will definitely go back to buy from them.
Don’t bother... After over 2 months of being told that the sectional couch we ordered might be on the next shipment every week we were finally told that we could have 2 of the 3 pieces of the couch with no indication of when the other piece might arrive, leaving the couch unfinished. We went and got a refund and bought right down the street at Slumberland and not only paid less but got more seating with delivery in just 6 days.

Bought my daughter a bedroom set from Gina at this store. Gina was nice when we were buying the set but once they get all your money they don’t care. Twice the dresser was delivered broken! Then it was 4 weeks each time for new delivery which blows my mind since they claim it’s a popular set, so finally after 8 weeks I called and they are sitting on the third one, I ask aren’t you going to deliver it and they are like you didn’t call?? I didn’t call? So I’m supposed to guess when you would finally get in a non broken dresser. They did send me a 66 dollar refund in the mail this week which is why I’m doing 2 stars instead of one but it’s not enough to make me ever want to go back.
Horrible customer service, I ordered sofas for about 5k and they were delivered by inexperienced men who scratched my front door badly and damaged the chairs. We then called telling the workers about the conflict and we were then ignored. The chairs are still in my garage and have been for almost a month now. I wouldn’t recommend you buying furniture from this store!!!!
The store was filled with lots of furniture to choose from, they have a back clearance section as well. The staff friendly and helpful, willing to answer all your questions or direct you. This location had no layout that made sense so it was difficult to navigate and find exactly what we needed, but as I said the staff was helpful. Overall, with the sale and pricing, walked out after purchasing a couch.
We are incredibly dissatisfied with our experience at Ashley Furniture in Shakopee. We came to the store to pick out a couch for our brand new apartment in early September. We spoke with a very kind gentleman named Kyle who helped us place our order and told us that our couch would come in by the end of the month. Unfortunately, the end of the month came and our couch wasn't here. We called the store and were very understanding since things happen and can hold up shipments. We were told that our couch would arrive on October 6th now due to the hurricanes. Come October 6th, it is still not here. We called again and were told that it was estimated to arrive now on the 12th. At this point, we have been living in our apartment without a couch... let me tell you, sitting on the living floor for a month is definitely not ideal. Finally, we get a call that our couch arrived, but of course it will be another week until the delivery men will be able to bring it by our apartment. Today.... WE ARE ECSTATIC TO FINALLY GET OUR COUCH. My husband met the movers at the front doors and our apartment complex supposedly does not have the correct elevator to bring up one piece of the sectional as it is too large. So we recommend using the stairs. The movers stated that they are only allowed to bring things up three floors (we are on the 5th). We were never told this when we initially bought the couch and this was never even questioned despite giving our apartment address to Kyle.... which includes our unit number. So the movers grab the couch, leave and tell us that we need to call Ashley. Long story short, this has been the most PAINFUL experience in our entire moving process. We thought it would be the easiest, but it most definitely is not. After a long day of stress and frustration we have not had an answer from ASHLEY and remain couchless. I highly recommend getting your couch with a furniture store that can provide exceptional service. Unfortunately, Ashley Furniture just isn't going to be willing to do that.

Date of Visit: 10/12/2018 - We returned our table. Similar to when we picked up, they made us walk through the entire store to obtain a Return Slip. We will not be ordering a new set; instead we will purchase our furniture elsewhere. Dropping my rating to 1/5. Date of Phone Call: 10/11/2018 - We receive a phone call from Rhi. They cannot order us the part; instead we have to disassemble the entire table, pack it back in the box, and bring it back so they can verify the damage and then order us a new set. Dropping my rating for Ashley from 3 stars to 2 stars due to the rude service I received via the phone on 10/10 and the misinformation provided. Date of Phone Call: 10/10/2018 approx. 8:30PM - We are in the process of putting together our dining room set when we notice a gouge in the leg of the table and the leg of one of the chairs. I phone Ashley - they answer, then transfer me to voicemail. I phone Ashley again - they answer, then hang up on me. I phone Ashley again - they answer, then hang up on me. My fiance phones Ashley - tells them immediately, "DON'T YOU HANG UP ON ME!" He tells them about the damaged goods. They instruct him that Rhi will call tomorrow and inform us that the parts have been ordered. Date of Visit: 10/10/2018 approx. 6:00PM - Furniture pick-up experience was not enjoyable; dropping my rating from a 4/5 stars to 3/5 stars. We arrived with the paperwork Rhi had provided us (despite her telling us, "All you need to do is show up at the pick-up door in the back, give them your phone number, and they'll grab the product!"). We gave our paperwork to the clerk at the back door, and he instructed us we had to walk through the building to the Ashley service desk to get a "Pick-Up Slip". Fifteen minutes later (after walking clear across the entire building) we arrive back at the Pick-Up Service Desk, and the clerk states that he can now go look for our product. We eventually get our product and head home. Date of Visit: 10/7/2018 - Rhi was a joy to work with today! She promptly greeted us at the front door to create a welcoming experience. We decided to purchase a dining room set despite coming to look for a bedroom set and mattress/box spring combo (which we purchased next door at Furniture Mart, along with a buffet). I do enjoy having Ashley connected with Furniture Mart (through an indoor doorway) because it gives you so much more brand variety and different options!
ZERO STARS!!!! All the furniture is made with 1x2s, OSB Board and all staples!! I’m surprised I didn’t find gum holding it together!! Don’t be fooled by the nice presentation cause there furniture is all made cheap!! We had our furniture for not even a year and everything sunk to the ground! My husband opened it up to find nothing keeping it from doing that! We even had the insurance they offered but don’t be fooled is doesnt cover anything on the inside!! I wish I could post pictures cause it’s a bunch of bull!!! I hope u all don’t fall for their furniture like we did!

I've been looking for a new mattress for a bit now and decided to stop in here today and take a look. Zach W was nothing but fantastic despite the fact that he's only been in beds for a little while. I told him right off the bat that I was looking more in the "budget" range ($3-400) and he never once pushed a far more expensive mattress or made me feel like I was buying anything less. Not only did I buy an Ashley legacy firm mattress but I spent $60 on a protector and $200 on a pillow. He lightly promoted the protector but the pillow happened to be what I was using as a test pillow and was perfect for me! I can't completely speak to the rest of the staff but if you're looking for a bed/mattress, definitely stop in and see Zach!
Wow!!! I just had the best experience with Ashley Furniture! The sales person "Rhi" - took my phone call & went out of her way to find a bookcase for me that I needed immediately. She was so helpful & resourceful. The bookcase was just perfect for staging of a home that we were photographing - Thank You - Rhiannon *(Rhi)* you are a rock star! You saved the day!!!
This Ashley store is just like any other furniture store. They have plenty to choose from in all price ranges. One problem I do have is that the prices don’t match their website. If a price on their website is lower than what they have listed in store, it’s the CUSTOMER’S job to show them and they will “match” it. I find that to be kind of ridiculous. My sister and I did our business with Les in the mattress section and he was GREAT!!! Very friendly, respected the price ranges, gave honest feedback, and only recommended items in my sisters price range, which I found very respectful.

When I called 5 days later , I was told by manager that we don't ship to your location and I s going to be an extra 1250 $ . They wouldn't have informed if I didn't call.

The delivery was a horrible experience. They brought our king bed frame and mattress but forgot the supports. My husband spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved since everyone he talked to kept blaming someone else and not taking any ownership for the situation. Very poor job by the delivery team, their boss and the sales person. Luckily we got ahold of Mike in customer service who arranged to have the supports delivered on Monday. Luckily my husband as the day off. What turned out to be an exciting purchase turned into a stressful afternoon and a poor reflection of the store.

Friendly staff, decent selection, but I prefer the collections at the attached Furniture Mart instead as they seem to have more variety to my personal liking/preference. That's the only reason it's not a 5* review, other I've never had any issues or problems here at all. It's nice they are both there and connected via a doorway to enjoy both stores on the same visit.

Marty S. greeted us at the door and asked how he could help. We were looking for couches and he gave us some guidance on where to look. Marty did a great job of giving us space to look around but was there at the right times with suggestions and for questions. He was helpful, friendly and made the process a pleasure. I did not feel pressured into decisions. The store was clean, comfortable and we were able to take our time. We purchased a sectional couch and will plan on going back in the next few months to get a new mattress (Les A. assisted us with looking at the mattresses and was very helpful as well). Great experience!
I would give 0 star if I can. Very bad customer service on the phone. I bought 2 sofas from Ashley furniture store that they didn’t last even 6 month. We are 2 people that at work all day, no kids, no pets. They sent the technician over to inspect them first of all he didn’t captured a good not or the truth, he told me something and they did something else, no one got back to me I had to call after 17 days to follow up and the suppervisor told me that the part has been ordered they have to take the sofas to thier warehouse and leave me without furniture and bring them back or he can send the technician over to my house and spend about 2 to 3 days fixing them, and he never heard of a furniture company will do a replacement. Plus the supervisor was not profacional at all. I end up canceling the order and have my family cancel Their purchases from the store.

Large selection of furniture - beds, dining room, living room. But nothing about it seemed special. Pretty sure you could find this stuff at any large furniture store.
Me and my boyfriend went in just expecting to look, not buy a new mattress. When we met Katy, she was very down to earth and made us feel like we were her best friends! She helped us find the perfect mattress, that was perfect for our price range. I strongly suggest Ashley Furniture and Katy to anyone I know. I will definitely be back when it's time for a new couch!

It's just OK not so good.
Our initial experience in the store was great! We were immediately greeted by friendly sales staff who directed us to what we were looking for (a recliner) but didn't hover, so we were able to browse comfortably. The transaction went smoothly and we set up our delivery for the following Saturday (8/19/2017). When the chair arrived it was the wrong color, cocoa instead of marine. We called the store and our sales rep apologized and said we could keep the chair for the week and they'd change it out the following Saturday (today, 8/26/2017) for the correct one. He explained that sometimes they receive furniture marked incorrectly from the manufacturer. A little frustrating, but understandable. Today, they showed up to deliver the replacement in the WRONG COLOR again!! They brought cocoa instead of marine a second time! The delivery person promised us a call from the store within an hour. Instead, when we contacted the store after receiving no call, it was to discover that the customer service center was already closed and we can get no assistance until Monday. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. The most frustrating furniture purchase I've ever made.
Go and speak with gina she was very helpful and nice. It was great to work with her on my purchase. Other than that your on your own. Bad experience with financing and my mattress purchase. Do NOT purchase the 5 year furniture scratch protection they won't fix anything! You might as well give your money to a stranger.
We worked with Sandi Hoffman on two different occasions. We got such a great deal and loved our first couch for the basement that we went back to buy the same couch with a different color for the living room a couple of months later. Sandi was straightforward, efficient, and a wonderful associate to work with. She was attentive to our concerns, questions, and worked with us to get the correct configuration, to include the size/spec sheets so that I could measure and not have the wrong pieces. We fully enjoy our couches and will be back for future furniture needs, especially if Sandi is still working there!
My wife and I were looking to get a new mattress. At the door, we were directed by the greeter to a woman named Katy (Catherine Delaney). Unfortunately, we have different needs (softer vs firmer) we let Katy know this at the start. She immediately had a suggestion ready and we loved it! We had a couple other questions/needs and tried a couple other mattresses (and pillows) and found one we absolutely loved. She was never pushy and was extremely passionate about sleep (just ask her how she feels about -her- mattress). This is the second purchase we've made there; the first time was to get a new kitchen table (with the help of Steven Tweden). Highly recommend!
I was there to buy my first ever bedroom set. I immediately met Sandi at the door and she showed me some lovely options right away. I selected a very nice bedroom set, and then was helped by Les for the purchase of my mattress. He was very informative and clearly knew his stuff about all of the mattresses! The sale was very seamless, Mark was a little bit rushed with the financing but I understand that there were lots of other customers there that needed help as well. I received a military discount for my time in the service which was an amazing benefit I did not even realize they offered! My delivery date is set for just about a week from now so I hope everything goes smoothly!! Overall I am very satisfied with my sales team and the experience, and even left with a hug from Sandi!

We were looking for living room couches and Sandi Hoffman gave us a friendly greeting right away upon entering the store. She was informative and never pushy, which was a huge plus. I would highly recommend asking for her if you plan to shop here, you won't be disappointed!
We went in looking for a sleeper sofa. A very nice gentleman helped us out, catching us by the door. Other sales associates were sitting around waiting for the day to end. We found what we wanted and were about to check out. It was $60 cheaper on their website but the sales associate had trouble getting the system to reflect the online pricing so he tried asking Mark Olson, another sales associate, for help and insight. Mark was a cranky middle-aged guy in an ugly, oversized, tan 90s tweed sport jacket and kept giving our sales associate lip about how the system would automatically update itself to reflect the price. Mark was incredibly rude to our sales associate and went back to his computer to look at the store's website. Eventually, our sales associate figured it out with the help of a different sales associate and we were on our way to check out. Mark stopped us and told us we couldn't purchase the sofa sleeper, a $880 or so transaction, for the online price and would have to settle for the in-store price of $940. This was because the sofa sleeper wasn't available to be purchased online (it would say "see in-store"). Quite understandable but we declined to purchase the sofa due to Mark's behavior. He was incredibly rude to our sales associate the entire time and seemingly bent on making sure we couldn't save a measly $60. I have no clue why a person like Mark Olson ever got hired, or ever is in the sales business, but he was a toxic, ugly person. Maybe he was mad because it was a bit past closing time on a weekend (maybe you guys should close earlier?) or maybe he was mad he didn't get a sale (maybe he should be engaging with customers instead of sitting on the sofas?) Mark wasn't even there to help us in any capacity and we have no clue why a coworker would come in and ruin someone else's sale with his nonsensical attitude. We felt very bad for our sales associate and were left in a very awkward situation. I would avoid this store mainly because of this particular sales associate, Mark Olson, and I would very much suggest to our sales associate to find a new store to work for. EDIT: They suggested to email them (see blow) and I did, with no reply so far. I'm thinking they post these responses to seem to care more than to actually want to do something.
We went to Ashley Furniture to try to get our dream couches and we were helped out by Sandi Hoffman and she was a furniture selling goddess ! If you want comfy furniture come to Ashley and look for Sandi! Episode II The Goddess Strikes Again!!! We went back to Ashley furniture to get the Chocolate Love loveseat(yes that's what the tag said) hopefully to get Sandi again and hell to the yes she was there delivered the gasmic service and were out of there with lightning speed. We love Sandi and if you go to Ashley look for her!!!!

We recently purchased a condo in MN as our summer home. We needed to furnish the entire condo. Steven Tweden at the Shakopee store helped us pick out just the right size furniture to fit the two bedrooms, living room, and dining area. Once back in AZ we decide to add a few more pieces and art work. Steve added those for us with just a phone call. He also followed up with delivery issues and referred us to customer service with a table problem. He was professional, courteous , friendly and an asset to Ashley furniture. Thanks Steven.

We picked up this awesome canvas that looks 3D for our stairway and found an awesome bed frame that we're putting on hold until we move in in August, then they will deliver it, Convenient!
I had to return my defective mattress for the 2nd time in the last two years. No fault of Ashley furniture. When i went in to select the new one and get it on order i was helped by Sandi and Mark. They were amazing and made sure to take care of me and move the process along as quickly as possible. Although it wasn't their fault for the defective mattresses they made sure to make me feel appreciated. I can't wait to get a good nights sleep on the new bed!

I originally posted a good review for this location but I must say I have had the worse experience with Ashley furniture, most of the good reviews on here is probably because the rep makes you review your experience on the spot forcing you to feel obligated to give a good review there are so many things wrong with my experiences please bare with me as I am typing via phone the reps at aahley do not like to honor prices you see on their weekly ad they told me the ad online was not theirs until we seen a physical ad at the store with the exact same product i wanted with the exact same price advertised online then they honored it next the coralayne 3 piece bedframe that I ordered was supposedly supposed to be delivered to me 2nd week of March come to find out once it finally came in it got sold out? But how if i already paid for it? The reps at ashley were not very apologetic at all did not accomodate the inconvenience at all instead said it happens and a lot of other people are waiting on it as well they then told me i won't recieve it until THE MIDDLE OF APRIL, so i called th 3rd week of April they told me it still was not there again still very unapologetic about the situation no accommodations said it will be in on the 26th of April so I waited until the 28th gave them a call and they told me i had to wait until the 2nd week of May! Still no accomodations unapologetic did not acknowledge my frustration TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE i would never recommend this location to anybody unless you like your money and your purchases withheld from you for months, again excuse my grammar I am writing this via phone but if you want furniture I highly suggest to take your business elsewhere.

Our experience with the sales team was positive and we purchased a sectional couch. We opted to pick it up at the showroom. After getting the sectional home we found the sectional, which came in two sections had the proper legs for one section, but not the correct ones for the other. My wife called the customer service number and after verifying we had the incorrect legs was notified they would be sent to us and arrive in 1 to 2 weeks. I called the next day to see if it could be expedited. The rep who took the call who was friendly and helpful informed me the previous rep had not completed the ticket. The second rep verified the part we needed again, and made sure the part was in the warehouse and it would be shipped. This call occurred on a Friday, so we assumed the part would be shipped on Monday at the latest and we would receive the parts mid week. After 9 days of waiting we called back to find out the warehouse manager couldn't decide on how to send it and it set out a full week later. Small items perhaps, but to look at a new piece of furniture and not be able to use it for 2 weeks is very frustrating and greatly diminished what had begun positively. As a Customer Service Quality manager, I would strong suggest Ashley improve the warehouse processes and personnel. They are killing your repeat business.

Second delivery I've had from this Ashley so far and it's been painless both times. We went to the showroom looking for a dining set. Matthew Kruger helped us look through the options, gave his input on the various choices, set us up with delivery, and had us back out the door in under half an hour. Can't ask for much better than that. Good selection, lots of stuff in the clearance room in back if you're looking for piecemeal additions to your house as well.

My wife and I went to this Ashley location twice the weekend of 2/10/17. Our first visit was okay but the second was the one that made the difference. We were not greeted by any of the Sales members and had to walk to customer service after 30 minutes to ask for help. Four sales reps told us that they were with other customers and couldn't help us. This is understandable, but no one ever came back to assist us. After waiting another half hour we noticed two salesman standing around talking so we approached them for assistance. When asked, neither employee seemed happy or excited to help us and actually looked annoyed to be pulled from their conversation. On a side note, we had found the same bedset at another store for $50 less and asked if that price could be matched. The salesmen in turn went to a computer to "see what he could do". After another 30 minutes we were told the item in question was not on Ashley's website (for some reason) which meant nothing could be negotiated. We understand when prices cannot be negotiated, but the customer service is what will never bring us back to this location. It is unfortunate because our second trip to the store was simply to make a purchase... 90+ minutes later we will be buying from another company.

Unacceptable service. We recently bought a table and chairs for over $1k. The table had not held up well at all and most importantly the table is wobly and literally falling apart. We called customer service and they said they were "a little booked out" which meant over a month until someone could come and look at it or we would have to drive it in for them to look at it which is i feasible seeing how we don't have a pickup truck. We have kids and are concerned about it. They didn't seem to care at all or try to work with us somehow. We were hoping the hardwood table would last us a lifetime and we have barely gotten a year out of it. Just terrible

Our Ashley (proprietary) chaise side of our couch broke mid November - 4 months after we purchased it. I called to report this and they said they need to send someone out to confirm it is indeed broken - that took 2+ weeks. Once someone looked at the couch, we were told 3-5 more business days to set up someone to pick up the couch for repair. Day 5 I called in and was told we were not even in their system!?! I spoke w a customer service rep who was rude and told me he had other people he needed to help, rather than try to resolve my concerns. I spoke w a manager who told me simply these are Ashley's procedures. No explanation or apology. After inputting my information they scheduled a pick up for my couch - another 2 weeks later. At which time they were 2.5 hours LATE outside of their already 3 hour pick up window. I was given a call that simply told me they'd be late. Not asking if that would be ok / work for me or apologize for the delay. Days later I called back to get an update on how long it will take to fix my couch where eventually I spoke w a very nice delivery manager who confirmed the couch was a fixed and rushed my delivery. I tried to speak w a manager to share my disappointing month + long experience after all of this and it took almost 1 week to get a call back. Long story short - I plan on never purchasing from Ashley again knowing their customers service (lack there of) when a problem arises.
I had a great experience working with Brandon Hoium. He was conscientious and knowledgeable. I will definitely return to this store for my furniture needs in the future.
I like this store, it's big, but not overly packed, layed out nicely, sales staff let's you know they are around, will always answers questions, but doesn't hound. Prices are decent, but it seems they always have a sales of some sort going on...makes me wonder why they don't just mark down every day prices...
Having to wait 6 weeks to get a service tech out to look at a sofa I bought less then 3 months ago is unacceptable. Very poor customer service once the sale is done. They will not get any return business from me.

When we were ready, Mark helped us to make our purchase, align delivery, and told us of (the wise investment) the fabric care warranty. We would absolutely return to this store and work specifically with Mark again!

Went to go look at a sectional sofa i saw on their website, couldn't find it so i went and talked to the already pushy sales lady who looked it up and said they didn't carry it yet but they were going to get it in a month or two. Then told me the in store price which was $1250 MORE than $1500 price i saw online. I mentioned that to her and she said "we would price match it down to $1750" still $200 more than what i saw online and i asked that included shipping and of coarse it didn't

Over the last few years I've had several positive experiences with Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Shakopee. Much of this can be attributed namely to one of their employees, Les Appelt. From my first interaction with Les he's always been professional, courteous, friendly, helpful, receptive, and knowledgeable. I appreciated that Les is never "pushy." He always invites me to "have a look around and let me know if I can help you with anything." A true class act. I will continue to provide my business to Les and Ashley while encouraging others to do so as well.
I purchased a couch set 2 years ago now and have nothing but headaches. First of all the delivery was the worst run operation ever. I had taken time off work to wait and since we just bought our house, we didn't have any furniture at the time. Of course, the delivery guys didn't show up. Now we are two years in and our couches are falling apart. The wood frame creaks everytime you sit down, the foam in the cushions is completely compacted, and the stitching is coming apart. Now their "lifetime frame warranty" doesn't even cover the labor to fix the couch. I asked about additional coverages and they said there were none since they give you a lifetime one. What a load of crap. Now I have to pay hundreds to fix the couches I paid thousands for. I will never buy their crappy furniture ever again.
The delivery process is horrible. Most places give you evening delivery because people have jobs. They told me I have to keep rescheduling until they have a day when the delivery run pass 4pm, after paying almost a hundred dollars delivery fees and 2 months later, and taking off work (because I got tried of waiting) I finally got my couch. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!! It's not worth the wait, Slumberland gave me options. One being evening delivery.

Sales were fine but wouldn't suggest getting anything treated for extra as they didn't actually do it. Called and the manager would not admit it.
Horrible experience! My fiance and I purchased a couch approximately one month ago and paid in cash. Our delivery date was set for tomorrow afternoon. We are moving into a new house and have already discarded our previous couches. My fiance also took the day off work tomorrow to be available for the delivery guy. After we did not get a call from Ashley confirming our delivery, my fiance made a call into the store. At that time, we were told that we had an unpaid balance and because of that, the delivery had been cancelled. Keep in mind that our invoice shows that the couch was paid in full. After numerous calls, the store was finally able to detect the problem which was that the sales associate "Maxwell" rang us up for a second couch after we had left the store and that is why there was a remaining balance. I am pretty sure that a sales associate ringing someone up for additional products after they have left the store is ILLEGAL. The person on the phone then apologized for "Maxwell" and said that she would have the delivery department contact us back immediately. After two hours of not hearing from them, we called them again and were told that all delivery trucks were full for the weekend so we would not be receiving our couch until a later date. I have now left a voicemail for the regional manager, Bob Brandt, who has yet to contact me back regarding Ashley's mistake. PLEASE if you want your furniture to arrive on time, DO NOT go through this company. This will definitely be the last time I will shop at this store.

My pregnant wife and I stopped in to purchase a living room set for our new house. There was probably 10-12 employees working at the time and maybe 5 families shopping for furniture. We tried numerous times during our 30 minutes in the store to get help; but each time the employees would just walk away from us or walk past us and completely ignore us as if we did not exist. Finally after 30 minutes of no help, we left and called and spoke to the manager who went on to blame the problem on us. His response, "You should have done a better job to get help." I will never shop at this store again and will be taking my issues on to their corporate office. Bad management leads to bad sales people.
Lots of very cheap furniture. I was amazed that they had damaged and misaligned furniture on their showroom floor. Not impressed.
I wouldn't give this Ashley Furniture any stars. I hope that other Ashley locations are a vast contrast to this particular one. My experience with this location was appalling. From my sales rep Gina who has came down with selective amnesia to the manager Gary/Greg who was extremely rude, condescending and aggressive for no apparent reason. And the difficulty of getting higher management. I asked the manager named Gary or Greg for his managers information. After much combat on why I wanted it, he said I will get it in a sec because I'm in the middle of something. Well that was about 10 minutes before the store even opened and now its nearly 2. This is the same opposition I got when I asked the sales rep Gina as well. Its just a very bad situation. Even if there is no resolution to my order, and I need to take my business elsewhere. I will sleep alot better knowing that this matter was at least brought to someones attention.

Do not buy insurance from these people. Just today I called to make a claim and all I got was excuses on how the things wrong with my table did not meet the insurance criteria. I thought I was doing the right thing by getting insurance for such an expensive table, but I was just wasting money. Complete Bullshit.
Ended up purchasing a new desk and sofa. The sales rep did an excellent job answering questions and not pressuring us into buying anything. Delivery guys did a good job. Spoke with me for a few minutes, didn't feel like they were trying to rush and out as soon as possible. I will certainly return to Ashley Furniture for my future purchases.

I went to Ashley, and Furniture Mart. I bought a desk from Ashley. From Mart, I bought a 3 set table, a rug, and a bed frame. Everything was delivered. Customer Service: Was superb. Every time I needed someone, they were around, and they were always beyond helpful. One person actually showed me to a cheaper version of furniture, that was pretty much the same thing. I appreciated their help greatly. Selection: Ashley Furniture's selection is about standard. However Furniture Mart's selection was fantastic. They had a great deal of items that interested, from modern artistic looking tables, to old fashion. Delivery: (If it matters to you, they were not from the US) They called me ahead of time to notify me that they had a flat tire, and would be late. This caused no inconvenience for me at all. They showed up, put everything together, made sure everything was in good shape. They were quick, efficient, and professional about the whole situation. Hom Furniture Comparison: Hom Furniture has competitive prices, and a different selection of furniture. They also have a much better selection of mattresses. However their customer service does not compete with Ashley/Mart at all. DISCLAIMER: I have never worked in a furniture store, nor do I now. This was my first time going out to buy furniture.
