He was very knowledgeable on all of the products and answered any question we had. Jerry was great with our children too. Sincerely, thank you for this. Sometimes it is hard to get certain things done with the kids in tow, and it is appreciated when others understand that and have positive interactions. We bought 3 bar stools. The first one was defective. Tried to return them in person. Was told i had to do it online. Online was told to send photos. Did this and was told we could send back with shipping at our expense. Replied that we did not want to pay shipping on a defective item and did not want to keep the other two as we were not satisfied with the quality of the stools. We were credited for one defective stools and stuck with two that are substandard. Very disappointed with Ashley’s customer service. Would not recommend shopping with them. Terribly disappointing

We purchased a sectional from Darrell & Christina and had a great experience at the Woodbury location. They were both very professional & knowledgeable. Easiest purchase & delivery!
Over sell, under deliver. Was told the couch and loveseat would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. Took nearly 3 months. They had a promotion at the time for 2 insulated mugs with purchase. Was supposed to get an email for the mugs. Checked email and junk mail daily, nothing. Called today to find out what the status was and talked to a few different people and got transferred numerous times. Finally, was told a manager would look into it and call me back.

Their furniture is cheaply made in China. The edges of my bar stool I bought started wearing out after a year. Meant to buy some nice stools as an upgrade from IKEA / Amazon flat pack furniture but the quality was about just as bad. Would not buy from them again.

Furniture great and sales experience very good. However, we were told our bed we purchased would be assembled, and when it was delivered, the workers said could not assemble it because there wasn't enough room. We later assembled it ourselves, so clearly there was room. Very disappointed about being promised assembly and then not having it provided.

Last Saturday my wife and myself stopped at the Woodbury Ashley Furniture Store. We wanted to look at bedroom sets. We were met at the door by a salesman named Jonathan Kalstrom. He showed us where the bedroom sets were located. He never hovered around us. But would stop by every 25 minutes, to ask if we had any questions. Or tell us some details about the set we were looking at. He was very helpful! Very professional! When we made our decision! He walked us through the paperwork! If I could give more stars for exceptional sales person Susan Jacquart would get double that. We have worked with Susan before and she knows her store layout and was able to help us again make a decision on a couple items to update a guest bedroom. She spends the time with her customers and does her magic. Prior to this it had been a couple years since we has been into Ashley and we walked through the door and she greeted us and remembered us from previous visits. The products we have purchased from Ashley have always been good quality. We bought a sectional that came with 2 throw pillows and a year later wanted 2 more and they were able to have me order through customer service and I had them in a week. Thank you again Susan! Shopping for a new sofa/love seat for our new home, had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. We went to MANY Furniture stores and had the best customer service here. Karsten was at the door ready to greet us and answer initial questions. They allow you the chance to peruse the store at your own pace without them hovering, yet always are available to answer questions. For decades we keep coming back to Ashley Furniture in Woodbury to work with Suzie aka Susan. Our styles match. We verbalize what we need or want and she shows us what she has in their vast showroom. Today we went to purchase a mattress. Suzie knows her front showroom. She deferred us to work with Jerry. Jerry’s nametag stated he was a sleep specialist. That title is an understatement. He knows his products and listens and helps to find the best match at the best price. So easy to work with. Kudos to both Suzie and Jerry!

We had a long day of furniture shopping in preparation for a move and Jonathan Kahlstrom at Ashley in Woodbury, MN was fabulous. Walked into the Woodbury location the other day to see if the coffee table I had been “eyeing” for months was still there, it was! And it was an even better price now- What’s meant be is meant to be! I ended up finding another accessory piece as well. Had the absolute pleasure of working with the Assistant Manager, Darrell Quintana. He was approachable, very kind, gave a good laugh and it was a breeze getting everything squared away! The Woodbury location is beautiful and has some really lovely wall decor, furniture and employees. Be sure to visit them! :)

Do NOT waste your money ordering online from Ashley. We purchased bunk bed from Ashley that WAS stated as full size twin. What we received was something that was 4 foot tall. Tried returning it to the store. The store said they cant accept online order returns and gave us the formation of where to call. When we went to find the item online it somehow disappeared from the Ashley site. We called the number and they gave us instructions of give us a tracking number after you shipped it back and we will issue the refund. Meaning if you get it back to us at your cost we will refund the original purchase price. The return shipment would cost almost as much as the price of the product due to the size and weight. Plus the travel cost to town to a UPS Shipping Center. This is what Ashley Considers customer service? Never again for me Ashley Furniture.
Absolutely wonderful experience!! I had a 10 year warranty on my previous mattress. That mattress had become broken down and too uncomfortable to sleep on. I expected what I’ve have encountered at other businesses when dealing with warranties, resistance and loopholes. This was so NOT the case here at Ashley. I spoke to Erik on the phone. He was polite and helpful. He advised me to take pictures and text them to him. I texted them late on a Tuesday and had a return call from Eric first thing on Wednesday morning. He informed me that it qualified for full credit of my previous purchase to be applied to a new mattress. I went to the Woodbury location that evening and worked with Darrell. He too was utterly kind, helpful and patient. They made this so easy and straightforward. They were able to deliver it in one week. The delivery too was a completely smooth experience. I cannot recommend Ashley Furniture enough! A+ service from start to finish. PS - The only “catch” was that they “had” to take my old mattress. Now, that’s a catch I can live with!! LOL.

We were excited to purchase a new sofa set and found the perfect one. Darrell was exceptional and helped us throughout the process. We originally planned to have it delivered, however checked in to see if we could do pick up instead. We called in the next morning and a lady confirmed that our set is in stock and can be picked up. I drove to their location after work and was excited to pick up our couches. I walked in and said I'm here for pick up and they were confused. It turns out their phone number is routed to another location due to short staff and did not inform us the Woodbury location does not offer pick up. Their staff said I would have to go to their Fridley location, almost an hour away for pick up. I had borrowed my father's truck for the day and wouldn't be able to have another chance for pickup. So, I drove to their Fridley location through the middle of traffic to pick up our couches. Sadly, a simple 30 minute trip turned into a couple of hours due to the phones routing to another location. I hope no one else runs into the same issue. Couches are great, but the pick up experience was not.

Bought two chairs from here. I was assured that they would be delivered in two weeks. We were then told by the end of July. It's July 28, 2023. What's the story now? The couches are discontinued and we will receive a refund. That would have been nice to know when we purchased them months ago...
Update from July 31, 2023: As seen below, Ashley responded to my review letting me know that my experience will "help them improve." To be clear, I still have not yet been refunded, nor was there any attempt to compensate me for my lost time. The only offer I received was that I could buy two floor models sight-unseen at a 50 precent discount (when the new furniture I had bought was at a 45 percent discount). They are just a box store without customer service values. I understand mistakes, but I don't understand the lack of ownership. I am so disappointed that they choose to treat people the way they do, and don't actually try to make things right when they are in the wrong. I have bought furniture at this location twice, and had horrible experiences both times. While staff are very nice, they make promises they cannot live up to, and then make you feel bad when you are disappointed. For our first purchase two years ago, it took over 4 months to get a couch they "guaranteed" would be in within 3 weeks (which meant we had no furniture in our living room in our new house for the holiday season). However, my couch that I eventually got was really nice, so I thought I would give them a second shot. We found two couches for a different space, and purchased them for over $2,000 in late May/early June. We were initially told that they were on "backorder" and they would come in a few weeks. I expressed hesitation about the issue, as I had had issues in the past. I was assured it would be "very fast" and "not at all like during COVID." After a couple of weeks, I called to check on it, and found out that actually I wouldn't be receiving my couches until the end of July. I was disappointed, but continued to wait. I just got a call today (July 28, 2023) stating that the couches were "discontinued." So after having my money for two months, I have no couches (and have to wait for my cash to be returned to me) and I am back to square one to find furniture for my home. I would make sure to get any promises from this company in writing, because they do not live up to their word.
I had a miscommunication regarding the return policy when I purchased my mattress. However, Jerry (mattress sales) and Suzie (store manager) took great of me, and I was able to return my merchandise for a full refund. Thank you for taking care of your customers.
We were told by the salesperson (Karsten) that the ordered items would arrive together in 2 weeks. I even called ahead few days before scheduled delivery to confirm all the pieces would be arriving and he assured me of it. On the day of delivery, 1 chair was missing from the delivery. The salesperson was on vacation and I was unable to reach him. Upon calling to check I was told the item was backordered and will not be in stock till another 4-6 weeks. This is ridiculous and I didn't expect this from a big furniture store like Ashley. Very disappointed!

Disappointed. Spend a very large amount of money on a bed, etc., you are moving and they tell you to go to Uhaul to get a cover for the bed in order to move it.

Sleep Specialist Jerry was great. I was having neck pain after waking up in the morning. Over the last 3 years, I have purchase several pillows and never found one that really met my needs. Walked into Ashley Furniture told them my issue and they walked me back to speak with Jerry. Jerry was so patient, kind and had vast amount of knowledge about pillows and beds. I learned quite a bit working with Jerry. I did buy a pillow that I am finally happy with, it was Tempurpedic. It was a little expensive but it was worth it. This letter is to document the events that occurred on February 15th, 2023.On 1/28/23 I paid $500 using my visa debit card and on 02/ 02/ 23 I paid $500 using my visa debit card. On 02/ 10/ 23 I withdrawal 1, 952.49 in cash For a sofa, and mattress at Ashley furniture store in Woodbury. I left work early to pick up my son from school. I received a text from the delivery driver at 3:41 pm I was informed via text message that the delivery team was on their way and could be arriving in 10 minutes. I notified the delivery driver that I was on my way home and less than 15 minutes away. I begged the delivery driver to give me 15 minutes, he was very rude and even started yelling and screaming at me and said to me to be home if not he was leaving. I said to him my son and I need the mattress to sleep on for the night. I phoned the Ashley furniture store in Woodbury and explained to the manager the situation I had with the delivery driver. We spoke for about 5 minutes, and I said I needed a refund and she said to come into tore my refund. So I went to the store for my refund and the store manager refused to issue my refund. I requested to speak with the general manager and as I was explaining to the general manager on the phone the General manager yelled at me and said I am full of bullshit and I should get out of the store. I am not sure why heme to react to me this way. I had to bring my son (who happens to be autistic) and he started to get uncomfortable running around in the shop I followed him and put him under control. Suddenly 6 police officers surrounded me and my son. I began to record to protect myself theaters on the video said I should give him my ID and tell him my name, I asked him if I was under arrest he said no for the first time and the second and third times when I ask him again, and he said I was under arrest. Hence he threatens to handcuff me if I did not provide my ID. I was terrified and got afraid for my life and my son's life. I requested his supervisor and he said no supervisor. The police walked me out of the store. In summary, the store refused to refund my money and called the police on me, in tears I realized Ig discriminated against me. The officer continued to threaten me with arrest which freaked my son out. finally, I was escorted out of the store. On my way home I phoned the Woodbury police department and spoke with his supervisor. My son and I had to sleep on the floor the night of February 15th, 2023 we never had a mattress delivered. He had a rough night, and couldn't sleep.

We were in the market for a new bed so we went to Ashley. I wanted a purple but I didn’t know exactly which one. Darrell gave us a little run down of different styles, a couple pillows and left us mingle a little bit on our own which was super nice. Decided on one and scheduled our delivery for a few weeks later. Today, when the delivery window was supposed to be given, we were told it would need to be a week from now at the earliest. Being were moving in tomorrow, we really needed our bed tomorrow. I emailed Darrell (on his day off) and he went to work to get us our bed on time. I understand things happen and he could have easily “got to my email” tomorrow but he chose to help us on his time. I really appreciate his dedication to his customers.

I would never purchase furniture from Ashley again or the furniture warranty plan. I sectional we purchased a few years ago may have had a defect and we called while it was still under warranty for a rip that was cause because of the the frame of the furniture. Our claim was denied and I called the store multiple times and was told someone name Melissa will call us back never got a call.

We had to do a warranty claim on a mattress and Jerry was great through the entire process just like the day we bought it.
My wife and I went into Ashley Furniture, in Woodbury, on 11/26, to look for a shelf to separate the space between our living room and kitchen. We knew what we were looking for, but were continually harassed by the assistant manager, Darrell Quintana. He kept making irrelevant suggestions, never once asked us anything about the type of shelf we were looking for, or the purpose we had in mind for it. Every five minutes or less, he was breathing down our necks and following us around - trying to make a sale. It got to the point where we became so stressed we left and came back later.... unfortunately he was still there. We purchased the shelf we wanted, and came back to pick it up on Monday 12/5. When I walked into the store to pick it up, I was treated like I was bothering the sales staff, one of them quickly yelled for Darrell, and he snatched the receipt I brought with me out of my hand, turned away, and barked orders at me to drive around back to the loading dock, and he'd be back there shortly. Not even looking at me, and no directions - I felt very disrespected and confused. Once around the back of the building, it was dark and very unclear where to go, until a door opened, and someone on the dock yelled at me to drive my jeep up to the door. Upon examination of the box, I noticed two things very quickly...1. the box was damaged. It had been ripped open, and clearly looked like it had been dropped. Extra tape was added to try to hide that the box was opened...but it was clear. 2. The box was NOT the size we were told it would be, and it was very difficult to fit in my vehicle. I asked if there was another unit we could take, because the box was damaged, and I was told no. I asked for Darrell, because I had just seen him, but was told that he couldn't come back. This was after Darrell took my receipt and told me he'd be back there in a minute to give me the remaining paperwork. Never saw him again. The guy on the loading dock told I needed to take the box and get out of the way. I have back issues, and was very frustrated that I was forced to pick the box up myself. Tonight, I opened the damaged box, and began putting the shelf together. There is a very visible dent in the metal structure of the shelf, and one of the main wood shelf pieces is cracked and coming apart at the seams, where it was very poorly glued together. Pretty much what I feared would be the case when I saw the box. Overall, I felt disrespected, and the staff made me and my wife feel unwelcome in their store. On top of the already poor experience I had, now my furniture is damaged, looks bad, and reading other reviews of this awful company, I do not doubt nothing will be done to remedy the situation. I'll be calling the store tomorrow morning, and I'm pretty sure I'll get the run around, and poor service I was given the first time. The shelf is now half built, and I don't have the energy or patience to deal with these awful disrespectful people anymore. Do yourself a favor...don't walk into this store. From my experience, they don't want you in there anyways. There are so many better places to go, and I wish we had spent the extra $100 across the Street for a different shelf.
Once you make a purchase, you no longer matter. We, husband and I, picked up a shelf we ordered and the staff werebextremely rude when my husband asked where to pick up the package. Once we got to the loading dock he noticed the package was way bigger than what we were told at the point of sale, then he noticed the package was extremely damaged and taped up. When he pointed it out to the staff in the loading dock area, he asked for another shelf the load dock guy said there is not one and that we still have to take it. My husband said we don't and the guy insisted we did. So we loaded the damaged box into the Jeep, thankfully we and the box fit. Now at home trying to put the shelf together, I noticed there were some damaged pieces. According to their policy I am unable to return it since it was taken out of the original box . An expensive price tag for a piece of junk. I will no longer be shopping here.

The order came on time, but FedEx left it in the unsecured main entrance and did not notify me when it was there. I got excellent service from Wayfair but not as FedEx.
I am from Arizona visiting my mother and my father and sister. My mother is 77 and my father is 79. They both live with my sister. My father suffered an injury fracturing seven vertebrae, and 14 fractures in his rib cage. My mom decided to buy a new bedroom set and I took her to Ashley‘s in Woodbury. We were greeted at the door by Mike. Such a friendly guy we hit it off immediately. I told him what I was there for and he directed me to their bedroom sets. He worked with us through the entire process, patient with my mom who only has hearing in one ear. He showed us numerous sets and how the drawers operated and all the little nuances of their very nice bedroom sets. If I could give Mike more than five stars I would! Once we found the bedroom set I then told Mike my mom needed a new bed, Mike handed me off to Jerry, who works in the bedroom mattress department. Jerry was as knowledgeable and communicative and nice as Mike was. He explain the differences between Sealy and Tempur-pedic and made himself available whenever we had a question. My mom tried out several different mattresses. Jerry explained to us the outstanding technology that is available in mattresses today and we made an excellent choice with his help and knowledge. Jerry’s been working there over 17 years and Mike has been working there as long or longer. Trust me when I say this is the store you want to go to for your home furniture. Top quality beautiful selection and everyone in that store was lovely to work with. Two days later we showed back up because we wanted to buy a recliner. I called Mike who had given me his personal cell phone and told him that I was headed back in with my mom. Mike called me back and said that he was on vacation but that he would put me in contact with Suzy. We walked in a couple hours later and who was standing at the door to greet us but Susie herself. She must’ve showed us 20 different recliners and we narrowed it down to one that is perfect for my mom who is a small woman and we didn’t need one of those oversized ones. We found one that fits her perfectly and she’s very pleased with it. All of our stuff gets delivered tomorrow July 22, 2022 and I have no doubt that the delivery men will be as professional and excellent as the staff at Ashley store in Woodbury! My sister has shopped at the store also and has experienced the same kind of professional and caring service. Thank you everyone. I appreciate all the help during this shopping experience.
The lady Christina who helped us was awesome! Gave us the info we needed. Let us look around took notes on what we liked and got us checked out and set up for easy pay when we close on our new house! WENT IN ON 6-2-22 TO GET MY REFUND OF 199 99 FROM 5 YEARS AGO ON FURNITURE COVERAGE THAT I NEVER USED WAS TOLD HAD TO GET IR BACK IN STORE CREDIT WAS NEVER TOLD THAT OR GIVEN A VOUCHER FOR THIS WAS TOLD MANAGER WOULD CONTACT ME AND I AM STILL WAITING!! IN the mean time my spouse and I decided that we would look at fire pits so went back into the store on 6-4-22 found a fire pit and paid our portion and discount that I received and then they call me on 6-5-22 and ask me to buy a different piece of furniture because the piece I bought did not cost enough to use my 199.99 but the customer service staff never told us we had to purchase a higher priced item to use my 199.99 and so nowcthey are dragging there feet as no one told us this. They finally called me at 5 pm on Monday 6-6-22, and told me management approved my fire pit. Still very unhappy with customer service. Sue
Huge store with tons of beautiful furniture! We went looking for Patio furniture, which we found upstairs. Nice choices, though most is quite spendy. Staff are helpful, but don't hover & give you a chance to browse.
Susie was absolutely amazing, she helped us find the perfect couch and table! She didn't judge us when we walked into the store, she let us look and came over every once in awhile to see if we needed help. She gave us a real experience of being adults and not judge us for being young. She truly amazing sales woman! Thank you!

Do not buy from this store. We purchased an item from here and they said two weeks and it will be shipped to the store. They then said the item was improperly shipped to another location. The manager tried to make it up having the item shipped at our home for free the very next Wednesday. Again, did not come and the shipping was pushed out. They only care about making a buck off you.
I went to Ashley Woodbury today to find a new mattress and had a wonderful experience. I was helped by Jerry the sleep specialist and found me something I loved for a reasonable price. We were in and out in an hour!
My girlfriend and I worked with CJ earlier this week. I would like to say how amazing he was with us, and how down right great he really was during the time we were in the store. We were kind of all over the place on what we wanted and CJ was very patient with us and answered all questions we had, or if he couldn’t, he find the answer for us. We walked out finding everything we wanted because of CJ. If you are looking for someone to help you in the store, I highly recommend going and working with him. 10/10 for CJ being amazing to work with.
My daughter and I were helped today by Tony Nystuen, a sales consultant in the Ashley HomeStore in Woodbury, MN. Such a wealth of information and help we were given. I bought a sofa, love seat and chair, and I'm very happy with my choices. He explained the sale Ashley was having, delivery options and dates, and offered to walk the store with us to give us information about products that might interest me. When I decided on a grouping I liked, he walked me through a quick delivery and the guarantees available. Tony was very personable, didn't rush my decision and we have furniture coming to my home after a relatively short and pleasant visit to Ashley HomeStore. I am extremely pleased with Tony's help today, and would welcome working with him again. I was also in the market for a new mattress, and was then introduced to Jerry Hinks, a sleep specialist. Jerry explained the workings of the mattresses he sold and the cost involved with each mattress. He had me try out several mattresses and showed me how they functioned. I had some special health concerns that he addressed. At the end of the night, Jerry was very well informed, helpful, really knew his products - and had a great sense of humor! As an added bonus, he linked up my furniture delivery with the mattress delivery, which will save me money. Many thanks to both Tony and Jerry - I was well taken care of and will return.

It's really a nice place to shop for variety of furniture. However, due to supply chain issues, the sofa 🛋 that I was looking for was not immediately available. Michael is so professional and patient, cordial in dealing with the customers. He answered all our questions and showed several options. I recommend Michael.
I will NEVER shop with Ashley again. I purchased a $5000+ bed that I was told by the salesman that I could return if it was not of my satisfaction. That turned into the biggest lie! I was told I could exchange but not return although no damage and within 90 days of purchase. I spent over $12,000 to get a bed that was not as advertised and furniture that I am still fighting to be fixed and now being told that it's out of warranty. THE BIGGEST RIPOFF EVER!!!!

I am so happy I went to this store. I was in a hurry to buy my father a bed before he got out of the hospital. Susie first helped me over the phone to locate what I was looking for, sent me pics and prices. She went above and beyond for me calling other locations and finding exactly what I was looking for at a better price than anticipated. Our house is full of many products from Ashley Home Store. Sadly after our last experience we won't be back. We ordered a living room set from the Woodbury store in early June being promised that the 3 items are out of stock but would be delivered July 27th. One item came in July. We picked that up being told the other 2 would arrive 2 weeks later. As I write this the items still aren't in stock on Dec 8th 2021. While I understand covid shortages, I can't understand why we weren't contacted once about the delays. We had to take the initiative to call all 5 times over the 6 months to check on our furniture. 2 times we called no one answered during working hours. We had to stop in each time. After several months the assistant manager Darrel (used car salesman form my experience) told us to go find some comparable furniture and they'd make it work. We did just that. However they didn’t want to match, meet, or honor any sales prices on anything we found. They also wanted to upcharge the warranty that was purchased in June by $100 for the same warranty. After 2 separate nights stopping in store to deal with Darrel he referred us to the manager Susan. So for the 4th time that week went to Ashley and spoke with Susan who also didn’t offer much help. She eventually honored a lower price on 1 piece of the new set but wouldn’t honor the sales prices on the other 2 even though we had showed her they were on sale elsewhere (pic of sale was provided). Since they already had our money (since June) she had a hard time dealing with refunding and exchanging. I would have just skipped this review altogether but after waiting 2 weeks of being told our refund that would happen the next day, we had to call again, deal with Susan again, and eventually get our refund. Sadly Woodbury Ashley’s staff is garbage. I highly recommend going anywhere else for furniture no matter how good Ashley’s furniture seems, it is not worth this. I will try to end on a good note, James, a sales clerk from Ashley, is the only worker there who was knowledgeable. He was able to do basic math for refunds and exchanges when even the store manager Susan couldn’t get it right.
Even though we didn't buy our new bed from here, our sales person, Julianna was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, answered questions, and helped jeep an eye on our little kids so we could spend time trying them out. Will go back there when we need any furniture.

I have had the best experience buying a new bed from Ashley HomeStore in Woodbury. Suzy was my sales person and she completely got my style - but what was really over the top amazing customer service was that when I called and needed a little help getting it put together Alan from the warehouse came out to my house promptly and personally helped put it together. He was extremely kind and a total professional. I'll be back to buy my next item from here soon!

Bought a $500 Jarreau Sofa here with the $50 5 year warranty. The couch caved in less than a year later. It was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. When I called the store I was told it was an inexpensive couch and should expect this. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience and won’t be shopping here again.

We were looking for an end table and 2 chairside tables as a set and found the perfect set here. Was not immediately available however were delivered sooner than we thought at one point. I bought some furniture a few years ago, it wasn’t the greatest experience by the end..I found myself in a situation where I had to use my Guardian warranty (total separate review) Anyway, I was dreading the thought of going through Ashley again for replacement furniture...a little irritated that I couldn’t find anyone to help answer my questions, I was ready to just leave..Just then, Susan swooped in to save the WHOLE experience. She is amazing!! Accommodating, genuine, friendly, knowledgeable. I’m so grateful that she came up to talk to me. It was hands down the best experience I’ve had purchasing furniture. My girlfriend and I came in today to see what was in stock. We found something we really liked but both of us knew how long it would take to ask the "right" questions and say "no" 15 times to upselling. In steps the manager Susan... Never upsold us, got right down to business and we were out of the store 12 min later our delivery is in a week. We will be going back if nothing else because of her. Thank you Susan.

We had the best experience here a few days ago. Karsten, the salesman was so amazing! We were literally in and out within 30 minutes and we bought a sectional, matching ottoman and a new mattress. After leaving a different furniture store disappointed And empty handed because they were out of the furniture we wanted we went to Ashley in Woodbury. As I was telling Karsten about our bad experience he asked if I had a picture of what we had wanted from the other store. Luckily we did. He looked at it and brought us to the exact piece! Not only that but no problem price matching the other store. I seriously could not have been more impressed. If you’re looking for something new, head to the Woodbury Ashley store. Find Karsten. My boyfriend and I decided on a sectional to purchase from ashley. Our associate we bought from was Susan. We were very detailed in the way we wanted the sectional in our home, but last minute the lay out was changed. We ordered the sectional in November. The pieces didn’t come until January. The pieces were delivered in our garage due to covid and wrapped in Plastic wrap and boxes. After 3 hours of unwrapping, transporting them in the snow, getting them inside the house, and applying the legs it was the opposite facing sectional. We also ordered some tables that didn’t turn out to be the color as pictures on the website. All in all, an exchange was made and we had to wait a whole other month. Next delivery comes and we had to argue about the returned items to the delivery people whom spoke little English and then on top of that a piece of the sectional had a huge hole in the bottom they attempted to patch and hide. We had to wait a whole other week for the final piece to be delivered. Overall, Susan was a friendly person to work with but customer service in a whole was horrible. I had to call for my account to be charged the original purchase, I had to call for delivery updates, I had to call numerous times for my refund to be placed on my account, and lastly I wanted compensation for waiting almost 5 months for a complete couch with multiple deliveries and was only given 50 dollar credit that I begged for. I will be most likely shopping elsewhere due to this unhappy experience.

Recently went to Ashley’s and had a great experience. We were first greeted by Darrell (great person) and he let us know of deals and finance options available. He let us look around by ourself which was super nice. I personally don’t like when sales reps are on your tail the entire time when your still trying to figure out what you want to purchase. Darrell let us looks around and would check in on us from time to time. He had great knowledge of the inventory (knew which colors came in what/ and what was in stock). Overall, Darrell IS YOUR GO TO MAN for anything!! Great customer service and great experience.

Employees will assume your wealth at first glance and their helpfulness is equal to how much they think you can afford. I was told by a sales rep, "You cant afford this, you would need to finance." I'm glad she decided not to help us and to tell me that we should probably go to another store. I went to Slumberland across the street where I had a much more pleasant experience with the sales rep and spent my money there.

My husband and I just bought a mattress today and thankfully we had gone online to look for deals before we went shopping. When we were being rung up I asked if the price quoted was the sale price and we're advised it was. After checking out I compared the online sale price with what we actually paid and it was NOT the price we paid. When ww questioned it the sales lady stated that there system doesn't update with the online prices. She did credit us the difference and was kind about it. Point is make sure you do your research first!
I purchased a table & stools for $1300 at this place. A week later the screws began to fall out & when I requested a technician the ticket somehow became lost and no one ever came to fix it. When I finally disputed the charge, the manager tried to refund me an amount that was $200 less than the original price. The reason being, “the order was connected to an order at a different store” after multiple complaints with the bbb, and consumer protection bureau I still have yet to receive my refund. for my first time shopping I thought it would have been an excellent experience, but this has been by far the worst major purchase I ever made & I will not return.

Never again Ashley. We were told our couch arrival would take 6-8 weeks and our chair would arrive by the end of the year. Called 6 weeks later to learn our chair was in stock and our couch would be another 3 months. Why didn't anyone update us? Scheduled the chair delivery 3 separate times because they don't allow you to pick a time frame. The day of delivery, Ashley brought our entire order, couch and all. We would have been happy about this, except once again, no one updated us so we didn't have our other sectional moved out of the way. So here I am, 8 months pregnant, trying to help my boyfriend move the old couch and scratching our wood floors. Not okay. Since we couldn't move it quick enough, the delivery guys didn't even place our furniture in the right spot. Our chair was delivered in the wrong color and now we are expected to bring it back to exchange. So much for paying for delivery. Update: Been 2 weeks since I sent Ashley my contact info and order number per their request below. Still haven't heard a thing.
We purchased a bedroom set from Ashley. My experience instore and with the delivery were pretty good. When it fell apart was when we tried to return everything. It just didn’t work for our room. I called back the same day that we had everything delivered to start the process. In that call I was transferred to the person that we worked within store. After he realized he wasn’t going to save the sale he said he would have to call us back to process this as he was helping people in store. After no call back I called back to see what the status was, and I was told I needed to talk to my sales person to get the return going. I told them my sales person did not call me back, so the person on the phone said they would start the return, and that my sales person would call me back the next day to schedule deliver. After not being called back again I made a third call to figure out what was going on. They finally gave me the direct line to deliver which went great. They were there when they said they would be and were in and out in half an hour. So now we are a few days out and I found that I hadn’t received the credit refund for the return. I make the fourth call to find out the status is on this, and I found out that my return had been started, but not put in the correct pile for a return payment to be made. Don’t get me wrong I totally get that things are a bit slow now with COVID, but I don’t apperceive being told I would be called back multiple times and never receiving a call back. It almost seemed like it was being initially done to have the return not go through. Based on this experience I will pass on shopping at this store in the future.
Honestly the worst experience. It was fine in the store but once we got home and awaited our delivery everything fell apart. First they didn't tell us your furniture arrived we had to call to find that out. Then we had to reschedule our delivery three times because you can't pick a time of day for the delivery. Then we thought we were only getting the chair delivered but it was the chair and the couch. Well me and my 8 month pregnant girlfriend had to move our existing couch out of the way for the new one. And the chair is the wrong color so I have to bring it back. Overall the worst experience I have ever had with a company.

We purchased a full bedroom set online. When it arrived it was damaged. When we called The hotline we had to wait for 15 minutes, leave a voicemail and then they said they would give us a call back in 5 DAYS. When the new one arrived it was also damaged. We attempted to call the store but no one answered. When they finally did answer after several attempts we were put on hold for 15 minutes to then be hung up on. Returning the entire set will be happening whenever they get back to us.

Ashley Woodbury is the biggest scam. If you go on line they have a kitchen island for 914.00 and then you get 40% off that and we paid for the taxes on a credit card .and our total after all the discounts is 1,100.00. you do the math something wrong. Darrell the manger said that's the best he can do because there privately owned. Are kidding check twice before you by there

Had a terrible experience with one of the salesmen. My mom bought a couch almost exactly 5 years ago, and instead of trying to keep a customer, the salesman told her that there was nothing he could do to repair her current couch since it recently went over the 5 year mark. He acted as though he couldn’t have cared less, and completely lost the sale on the $4500 couch she was going to purchase no matter if they could repair her current couch or not. Will not be returning, and I recommend the money be spent elsewhere.
You can get much better furniture at Costco for 1/3 the price. I made a huge mistake buying a sectional couch from this place. 10 days later I decided I didn’t want it and called to return but can’t after 7 days. I HATE my couch, I’d give it away if my wife would let me.
I have to say, I am beyond disappointed in our overall experience with the purchase and delivery of our bed. We had purchased our first home late last year and decided that we should splurge on a nice bed for our master bedroom rather than the usual IKEA furniture we were used to buying. The selection were pretty slim for our taste in beds but found one in the showroom that matched our needs. We placed the order with Gloria on November 14, 2019 and paid for it in full. They did not have the King version of the bed in stock and it had to be ordered in before delivery, which was fine because we still had our old bed that was going into the guest bedroom. We were finally given a delivery date of December 24, 2019, just in time for Christmas. My fiancé had plans to fly out for the holiday to visit his family and I took this as an opportunity to purchase the rest of the bedroom set from IKEA to surprise him when he returned. Unfortunately, when the delivery arrived, there were missing pieces for the bed and they could not install it. This was a huge inconvenience as it threw a wrench in my plans to surprise my fiancé but understand that it's human error. The manager was gracious enough to refund us the delivery fee for this mistake and we awaited a new delivery date. They were able to reschedule us for a delivery early January. The morning of the delivery, I woke up to a phone call from Gloria telling me that they were unable to delivery our bed again. Since I was woken up for this call, it took me a moment to process this information. Apparently there was an issue at the warehouse and the headboard got damaged, making the bed undeliverable. I was definitely not happy to hear about this since we were expecting overnight visitors later in the month. I remained calm throughout the conversation with Gloria as we worked through this new speed bump. The result of this delayed delivery again caused us to have to set up our new mattress on the floor of our master bedroom in order for us to accommodate our visitors. We also had to store all our belongs that were planned to go under our new bed in our closets and laundry room. It became weeks of maneuvering around all these boxes and a huge inconvenience on our daily lives because of this ordeal. I did appreciate Gloria following up with me regarding our bed delivery as she called on January 10th to discuss an expected date for the bed to be in-stock. She also asked for me to tell her whatever we wanted she would help compensate us for the issue. At the time we were travelling abroad and didn't have any of the details on me but I did ask for some form of compensation for this issue that has caused a lot inconvenience. She told us she would speak with the manager and follow up with me, this never happened. We also felt that she was trying to push us to cancel our order so that they would not have to deal with us anymore. On multiple calls, and several times during the call she would continue to bring up that she would understand if we want to cancel our order. Maybe it's a misunderstanding, but to mention it multiple times makes it sound unprofessional. We finally got a call February 12th that our bed was in stock and ready for delivery. The earliest they could delivery was the following Tuesday so we scheduled it immediately. I took some time off work awaiting the delivery. They came within the window that was given and the bed was installed within 30 minutes. It was pretty quick and the guys left almost immediately. Since I was still working from home, I wasn't able to look over our delivery until later in the evening. The delivery left a lot of fingerprints so I decided to wipe the entire bedframe. There were a lot of missing paint from almost all edges of the bed, small cracks that weren't noticeable unless you were touching it, but then there was a huge scratch on the side rail with missing paint. To be quite honest, it felt more like a secondhand bed than something bought brand new. In

Had to wait almost 2 months for my couch. There is no control over when the delivery service comes, they just give you limited options of a day and a time window so I had to rearrange my entire work schedule to accommodate the delivery. Then, when the delivery finally came, they gave me the wrong couch! When I told the delivery people, they informed me that the couch was all the way in the back of the truck and that someone would give me a call later, and just left the couch they brought in my living room. Even though they had the other couch, they did not offer to go back and get it in the truck and swap it out. The couch I ended up getting was better than the one I ordered, so I don't mind keeping it, but it was unclear if I was able to keep the current couch or if they were going to insist on swapping. If they insist on swapping it's just another hassle I have to deal with with the delivery schedule again. So FRUSTRATING.

Susie is seriously and angel! My dad ordered a recliner for him to sleep in after shoulder surgery. It got delivered w/o the plug so that he couldn’t recline. The delivery drivers were rude. Told us it was our problem now then left. Susie was sweet enough to drive the part from her store to our house after a different person told us we’d have to order one and wait a week for it. Talk about hospitality!
Worst company I have ever had to deal with. They delivered a damaged bed. The delivery guys made a mess of our house leaving trash everywhere. They didn't take their shoes off or wipe their feat, so the crud they tracked in turned our carpets black. Calling their customer service was even worse. The first person was supposed to call back later once something was registered in his system - never did. The second person blamed us for accepting the delivery in the first place even though their delivery people said to call to have someone come out with a replacement part. The third person had to connect us with their delivery partner who wanted us to again wait on a call back and blamed more of it on us even though we have the whole thing documented on their freaking paperwork. We finally are returning the whole thing. I will never do business with this horrible company ever again.
My husband and I had a great experience here. We had been visiting around to different Ashley's throughout the cities and this was the last one of the night. No one until this store mentioned that they were having a flash sale for that day only. Jolene informed us which helped us make the decision to buy our bed. From start to finish she was quick and efficient and we paid a great price for the item. She was able to merge this purchase with another so we didnt have to pay second delivery fee. I definitely recommend visiting this location.

What a mess! I will never buy anything from them again and this was our first time. Not only did our salesperson didn't tell us it was going to take over a month to get our furniture in; he also never communicated with us about any changes. I always had to call to get any updates and the answer was always different. Apparently, October is a busy month for furniture. Regardless I shouldn't have to wait a month and half to get couches that we're apparently in stock and were supposed to be in ready in two weeks or less. We finally received our couches last week. Although, we like our couches we would have gone with something else to get it sooner or have gone to another store. The only good part about this whole mess the delivery guys. They were very nice, on time, and made sure everything was good to go.

Had a wonderful experience at Ashley Home Store Woodbury. Jolene Brewton was wonderful. I had to furnish my aunt's apartment from the other side of the country, sight unseen. All I had was a floor plan. Jolene helped me pick out the furniture. She shopped with me online over the phone and not only that but she personally went to the apartment to receive the furniture when it was delivered. She went way above and beyond. The furniture is beautiful, it was a great price, and the service was unbelievable. I highly recommend the store and Jolene Brewton.

Awful, awful, awful!!!!! From the time of picking up my dresser and the sales person was higher then a kite. I get the dresser home and opened up to realize the top of the dresser is scratched beyond belief. I was shocked they would sell and even package up an item this damaged. I called customer service right away. They seemed like it was no big deal. They seemed like they did not want to deal with me or help me with the problem. I had to yell at the lady to hear what I was saying. My sister and I picked up the dresser brought it home and unpacked it our selves. That dresser was extremely heavy. I wanted someone to come pick this dresser up and bring me a new one, the next day. The lady laughed and said that's no possible. After about an hour dealing with customer service. I get a call back the next day stating they are working on it but most of the time you get products they way they are in the box. I was so dissatisfied with Ashley furniture. The run around and calls I had to make to get a new dresser was sickening. Long story short I got a delivery 2 days latter with a new dresser. Even though the delivery people where 2 hours past the window time. I will never buy from this store again and will make sure others know the same. Awful, customer service and awful products. I wish I could give them no stars, I had to give them 1 just to post this

I’ll repeat that… 9 times over a month. If it wasn’t for such a great product and price I would have returned the end table and cancelled the coffee/cocktail table. My only advice is to never purchase from Ashley Furniture. Never.

Was originally happy with how smooth everything went at the store and ordering our new furniture. ordered a new king size bed frame, mattress, mattress pad cover, a rocking recliner chair and a sleeper sofa. I was going to order online and the delivery date it gave me was a reasonable time. In the store they were willing to give me the better price (if it was more online and cheaper in store they gave me which ever was the best deal) so we ended up having the sales lady order everything for us through the store. She said it could take up to 3 weeks. I figured just because it could take up to 3 weeks that it wouldn't actually be that long. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks waiting on the furniture and had I known it would actually the full 3 weeks I probably would have went a different route. The sales person just called and said she doesn't know where my sofa is and was wondering if they can send it on a separate truck and leave it outside and move it ourselves um hello what if it rains? I told her no thats why we went with this delivery option I am pregnant and cant lift and dont have anyone else able to do that. I asked her why they couldn't ship it separately and still have someone bring it inside like they are supppsed to and like they are doing with the bed and chair she said they would have to charge me an additional fee which makes zero sense if she was trying to get it delivered on a separate truck anyways. Then she asks me if we can move the delivery date which is already a week past what they told me. Honestly just ridiculous and I am about ready to say cancel it all and take a full refund. Waste of my time. Seriously id like some answers and either a discount or I'll just cancel all together. Edit: 5 days later the bed and recliner arrive, still no couch, the people driving the truck were extremely rude to me on the phone, showed up before the scheduled time (supposed to be 11am-2pm) show up at 1015, dont take off their shoes or wear shoe covers in your house, walking through dirt in the pouring rain, and forgot my mattress pad cover. Never again Ashley furniture.. never again. So very disappointed with this entire experience. Edit again: got a call from suzy, tried calling back and the workers hung up on me twice while trying to transfer me over, got a call today thay my furniture is in but can't be delivered for a week? I was assisted by Karsten Eylman and he was wonderful! I knew what I wanted and he helped get me all set up with their financing. He was so helpful and explained everything so I understood the process. I didn't feel like I was being upcharged or taken advantage which I greatly appreciated.

Had gone here with my girlfriend to purchase a bed. We walked in, and we greeted the sales woman that probably would have walked right past us if we didn’t say anything. We got directed to the mattress area and probably waited quite a bit before someone came to us (after being told over the speakers that we were there). He showed us some beds in our price range, walked away. Came back, answered questions, walked away. After coming back, and him walking away again for roughly 10 minutes, while we aimlessly looked around for him, we left. Ended up going to slumberland and left that day with a bed.
Noone welcomed us or asked us if we needed help. The labeling of the furniture was unclear, I didn't know if the seats were leather or plastic. Seeing the staff standing around actively ignoring us really rubbed me the wrong way.
Gloria is such a joy to work with. She helped my boyfriend and I so much with our new bedroom set purchase. She’s the type of person that you could chat with all day. She deserves a raise!

We ordered an outdoor table 2 years ago. It was said to be a weather resistant outdoor table. The table is now peeling and some spots even look like someone took an axe to it. We called customer service and they will not stand by their product, for the money we spent on this table it should have lasted much more than 2 years.
Absolutely the best service I have ever had! Susie and John came out to my dads nursing home to put his adjustable bed together. After calling Susie to complain about the delivery men not fulfilling the set-up of the frame and leaving my dad with a mess and no place to sit in his room, Susie said she would grab John in the warehouse and do it themselves. They beat me there and were working to get things up and running. I was very upset and when Susie said she would come out personally I felt instantly better. They spent a good hour putting the bed together and were very nice and made us feel like we mattered! Thank you, thank you for the stellar service! Nancy
Daryl at Woodbury is amazing. We had quite a bit of hiccups with our sofa - weather delays, shipping delays, then a delivery problem but he took care of everything to make sure we were satisfied. Very happy with our sofa and look forward to using it for many years!
We bought a couch, chaise lounge and ottoman and they are beautiful. There was an issue with delivery but thanks to Daryl it was cleared up fast and our furniture was delivered in time for a very special event. I felt like our delivery was the most important thing on his agenda. What a fantastic experience. I would recommend Ashley Furniture in Woodbury to anyone. Thanks for everything!
Best customer service we’ve had in along time. Thank you to the mattress manager that made what we were told incorrectly, right for us!!! We will be back to Ashley! Their are still people who will stand behind what they say.
In the past I have made several purchases from Ashley furniture for my home, and have been happy with the service and furniture itself. I stopped in this past Saturday to purchase a new mattress. When coming into the store I was greeted by a friendly salesman who referred me back to the mattress areas and informed me that sales associates specializing in mattresses could assist me. When I arrived to the mattress area, there was a salesman sitting at the desk and a saleswoman helping someone else. I began looking at mattresses for about twenty minutes until I decided on the one I wanted. At this point the other customer left, so the sales man and sales woman were sitting at the desk talking. I waited for one of them to acknowledge me and come over, but this never happened. I finally went over to the desk and waited for them to finish talking, however they never did, nor did they ever acknowledge me. I went back over to the bed I wanted, took a photo of the brand and model and left the store. I ended up going to a different furniture store who had the same bed available. I purchased the new mattress along with a new living room set.
We worked with Karsten. He greeted us at the door and told us about the awesome anniversary sale going on (40% off!). What we liked about Karsten was that he kept an eye on us but didn't hover. He watched from a distance and checked in every 10-15 minutes or so to see if we had any questions. He provided excellent customer service at check-out. We decided to put some money down to lock in the great prices and pay it off before delivery. We got a new bed, 2 nightstands, a TV stand, and coffee table for $1800 (tax & delivery included). We can't wait to get the furniture into our new house!

Terrible customer service. I have been calling for 1 hour and no one is answering the phone. Bought a 3 piece sectional and lamp back 1 month ago. Paid in full and still have not received the items and no communication on when it might arrive.

Karsten was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I price shopped the same couch at Slumberland and found that Ashley was $300 cheaper. Ashley's delivery charge was also cheaper than their competitors. I will definitely shop at Ashley again.

They delete bad reviews off their website. Let’s see you delete this. We weren’t happy with a couch, it started falling apart immediately after we got it. Called to complain, they kept sending us to the wrong teams, sending us through legal loop holes to buy time and not calling back. Before you know it, they said we had it too long and nothing can be done. We reviewed the couch online, multiple times, with appropriate language, and it was deleted every time. Just know that before they smile at you and lead you to their “sale” section.

I didn't believe their customer service could be as bad as their other reviews state, but you should know they are accurate. Ashley Furniture has terrible customer service after the sale. Order confirmation 7250 01677044 01 ordered 12/30/18 because they didn't have in stock at the Woodbury store, set to be delivered 1/2/19 but has yet to be shipped on 1/10/19. Customer service at 866 436 3393 wouldn't answer the phone after an hour of waiting on hold. The Woodbury store offers no help and says to call customer service. Read the other Yelp reviews, learn from our past, then buy elsewhere. I'll be calling my cc company next to cancel the purchase.
John in the Woodbury location was knowledgeable, accommodating and hands on, made sure l was comfortable with my choice. I chose the Synchrony 60 month financing. As per the manager, store policy is 30% down. For $2,419.97 purchase l had to put down $726 leaving 1,693.97 financing.
