I had a pleasant experience at Ashley furniture! My sales person was Ms.Liza she did a great job of showing me things that I needed. I also went in with a budget and she helped me stay within it!! The only thing I didn’t like was I had to pay for 2 separate deliveries which was about 300$ I didn’t feel that was fair but whatever! Overall it was a good experience!!

We had the BEST experience at Ashley Furniture. This was our first time buying from them and the employees help and assistance and patience as we searched for the perfect couch was fantastic! We worked with (I will misspell it sorry) Chataque and Aliza?? I am not sure how to spell their names but they were the absolute best at helping my husband and I. We ended up getting approved to get a couch, loveseat and a chair and couldn’t be happier. We had laughs and just chilled while everything was getting ready and it was the best experience ever! We will definitely continue I shop with Ashley for our home.

We had a little pricing issue with online and store but they absolutely made it right! BUT you should not have to compete with online pricing within the same company. It was a $300 difference. That’s huge. But I left happy🩵

No pressure! I went in to buy a new recliner and knew exactly how much I had to spend. Found the chair I saw on line and it was on sale , the salesman added it up with delivery and taxes , it came with in $40 of my budget. In and out of the store in less than an hour. Terrible experience. The sale person was friendly at first until we removed the protection plan she added to our purchase without asking us. Her attitude just turned 180 degrees, mad and rude. We canceled the order when we found out she added extra $50 to the price when we came home. Cancellation is a nightmare too. Took about 4 hours to get the order canceled. Roomtogo is a better store.

We went shopping for a bedroom suit and the experience started off OK, until we went to buy a mattress. That's when it went south by trying to sale me a 17,000 $ mattress and adjustable frame after finding out that my credit was great We were taken to the most expensive mattresses when I said oh no thats way to much I was asked how much do I want to spend on a mattress I was scoffed at. I was told that I couldn't get a good mattress for $500 to 1,000 $ this definitely made my experience not great along with the constant up salling made it feel more like dealing with a car dealer and we left feeling not so good about our almost 4,000 $ purchase .The only solace was the four year Interest free financing . Definitely going to shop around more in the future

I went in for a king bed paying for it with cash only to find out the bed will not arrive until 2 months from now. That is unacceptable.

First time shoppet/buyer. Looking for 4 barstools needed right away for family coming in for the holidays - needing extra seating for meal time. In store experience was good. I selected to pick up the following day and paid to have them assembled. I didn't make it to the warehouse to pick them up the following day because it was after 4:00. But I called the next morning @ 8:35 to let the warehouse know I was on the way to pick up my assembled stools. I arrived at the warehouse at 9:20am, 3 other cars in line before me. All had their deliveries made, still in boxes, so none had to be assembled. They all left. I was the only customer waiting. Then another customer pulls up, they wait a while, then their furniture comes out- sofa and chair- no need to assemble- and then they leave. Again, I'm the only customer waiting. 11:10 someone comes out to say they're bringing my stools out after they wrap them in plastic. I say ok. When the first 2 come out, placed them in the back of my SUV, I noticed the legs on one of them are scratches and chips of wood missing. The man tells me he can get the furniture tech to come look at it to see if it can be fixed. He says he can. It's now 11:20. I asked if he could do it right away and he said it'd take about 15-20 mins. I said that's fine, I've been here for 2 hours now, I can wait a few more mins. It was about 20 mins. On my way home, I called the store manager to complain about my 2 hr wait. The assistant Mgr took my call. She thought the assembly was only offered to delivery orders. But she said she'd check with the regular manager and find out and report back to me. Assistant Mgr was apologetic and offered me a10% discount on my next order, which is nice, but it won't be any time soon and doesn't help now that I lost 2 hours of my time sitting in my car when I had grocery shopping to do for company coming in that same day. And the main thing is- if the assembly is only offered on delivery orders, ALL the store employees NEED to know this! And I understand there have probably been times when furniture was assembled and then the customer never picks up or changes their mind on the furniture so it was a waste of time and now you have to put it somewhere BUT when I called to say I was on my way that morning (especially since I missed picking it up the day before), you'd think they would have it already assembled when I got there an hour from my call or at least started on it?! And here's an idea, If the assembly is available for pickup orders and a customer never picks up OR changes their mind on that order, charge them another assembly fee. You could have them sign a place on their order form in the beginning about this extra fee for not picking up their assembled furniture. If that happens, you have their address, and credit card, slap that extra fee on them if they don't pick up their assembled furniture. Anything But making someone/anyone wait 2 hours!!!! Geez!

Great customer service, love the experience

I ordered a bookcase and was told that it would be delivered and put together. The guys that delivered it said they did have the brackets to put the shelves on. They said they would put in an order for the brackets and someone would come out to put the shelves in. This was 9/4/24. No one called so I called back on the 6th. The lady I spoke with said she had no records showing I needed the brackets. She said she would check with the wear house but in the meantime she would put in an order for the brackets. I called back on today, 9/11 and was told that the order was placed on the 9th. 3 days later and that the brackets would not come until next week. I talked to Maria on the corporate office and another person before her and was told that no one would be putting the shelves on, that would have to do it myself. Now I was told that someone would come out and put them on by the person who sold me the furniture, the guys who delivered the furniture and the person who ordered the brackets. When I told Maria this, she said she was sorry but I was misinformed by three people and that Ashley had a no return policy when I told her they needed to come back and get the bookcase being I couldn’t use it. She did take 100 dollars off my bill for my inconvenience which I don’t feel is enough. I have all of the things that need to go on the shelves laying on my dining room table. This is unacceptable. I will be having guests this weekend and now I have to have a half finished book case. I am so disappointed. But of course there’s nothing I can do!!!!!

Order arrived but was missing one of the items. Guy said it was on back order...although when I ordered and paid for it, it was in stock. Now I have no information as to when it will be deliverd. The delivery guy was to desired. He went in out bedroom and closed the door to have a personal call with his girlfriend/wife. He literally huffed when he had to put the temporary bedframe together. He gave us no paperwork or information as to when my bedroom chest would be delivered. The way he told me that the chest was on back order was off and made me feel 'weird.' Overall poor attitude.

Recently had a terrible experience at this store. A woman named Taya Chuda waited on me. After traveling to the store in addition to several phone calls a purchase & a price was agreed on. I asked to get the price info emailed to me since she was unable to supply me with that at the store. Red flag! Fair enough I was ready to spend my money. Upon receiving the email there was no correct agreed on price information. I emailed her back & asked for the price information. Following this debaucle I called the store & left two messages with other store personnel. I did not receive any call backs at any time. From anyone. Perhaps Ashley furniture doesn't need my business? I will never set foot in that store again. And I will also share this.

UPDATE: It is now 11/12 and l have yet to see the $400 plus dollars credit on my credit card statement. I’ve been VERY patient and keep getting the run around. I see the “owner” or whomever only responds to positive post. I will make one more call tomorrow to figure this mess out. After that, l will get my lawyer involved. Started off as an amazing experience of course because they were trying to make some money 🙄🙄. Unfortunately, I’ve been trying to have an ottoman delivered since 7/27. They have been to my house 4 times. I’m not sure who’s doing quality control, but they obviously don’t do a good job. I called after the third delivery attempt and y’all assured me the fourth time would be successful. That was a lie. The ottoman was still dirty. Of course l called the store and text and guess what NOTHING. No one has called after the 4th attempt to deliver the ottoman. Take that ottoman off my bill NOW since no one can deliver clean products. I even told y’all that the couch is already squeaking. As much as y’all charge for furniture, nothing should be squeaky. I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley again and l mean it this time. Delivery dates 7/27 - ottoman ripped and dirty 8/2 - ottoman dirty 8/9 - ottoman dirty 8/20 - ottoman dirty UNACCEPTABLE and lot of my time wasted.

After visiting another furniture store and not finding what I was looking for, I was less hopeful when I came in the store at Ashley. Well… I found way more than I was looking for that day and thanks to Allison, I was able to knock several things off of my list. My experience with Allison was first class. She made the process smooth and was not pushy. MJ, her manager, checked on us several times and was very polite and helpful. I will shop there again and so should you.

I came in to purchase furniture. Workers were standing not far from the door, but It was about 3 to 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me as a customer or offered to help me.

I went in to purchase a night stand and the saleswoman Allison ordered the incorrect color. I immediately notified her of the mistake and she told me her manager had to approve the return ticket. After a couple days of no communication I called and spoke with a male manager. He stated that he would start the ticket and Allison would get back with me. That never happened and after a day I called and spoke with a female manager and she told me she saw the notes but no ticket. She told me she put the ticket in and she’d give me a call when the warehouse approves it. ( have the text thread which also shows the conversation). After a few days still nothing and she stopped responding. I called the 1800 number and they stated I had to deal with the store I purchased from. Finally I went to the warehouse and the receptionist explained what I needed to do. I went to Winchester they gave me a return credit and I was able to go to the warehouse and pick up my nightstand. If the Southaven store would have used communication skills my problem would have been solved days ago. This store mission and vision cannot at all be able communication and quality service because I receive neither one and nothing was done about it. Thank you Winchester store for fixing a problem you did not create. I will never buy anything from the Southaven store again.

Would not recommend this particular store to anybody. Poor communication once you receive the item even if they got your order wrong on their end. The furniture itself is nice but there need to be a change in management.

We stopped in late and tired on a Sunday. We thought we'd already decided on a sofa and loveseat from another company, but wanted to comparison shop to be sure. We were warmly greeted by Teya, who listened attentively to what we wanted and helped us zero in on a few choices. She patiently answered our questions and let us test each piece a few times. She also ensured we got the earliest delivery possible. She also opened our eyes to the world of bed risers - technology is definitely trying to address needs for better health. We'll receive the furniture later this week, but Teya certainly made the shopping experience painless. Update: the furniture delivery crew was very professional, friendly, and efficient. They made sure to confirm the delivery, set everything up, and ensure we were happy with their service and merchandise.

This experience has been extremely aggravating and frustrating for me. I did everything possible to ensure this purchase process was correct due to the fact I live in GA and could not return to the store physically. I was double billed and have had to call and report and explain this issue at least 5 times to different Ashley employees to no avail over the past 2 weeks. Today, I cannot have the furniture picked up because Ashley systems do not show I've paid for the furniture but my credit card has been charged again for this purchase as of 6/4/24. Ashley billing representative spoke with the credit card representative to obtain the transaction codes and dates. I hate that my family won't receive the new and seriously needed furniture today. I was told Ashley doesn't have a process to expedite this issue and I have to just wait until they find out what is wrong on their side. As the customer, I'm not priority for Ashley and I've encountered all the issues, made all the phone calls to try to resolve the issue with the exception of 2 call made to me from the warehouse and from the store yesterday. We received our love seat and ottoman, still waiting on our sofa. But the delivery day was awesome. Typically you wait for 2-3 hours in a time frame for furniture to be delivered but the communication was amazing and when they said they were arriving, they arrived exactly at that time and were so kind and quick. Loving our new furniture. Can’t wait for our sofa!

Terrible service and totally unorganized. My headboard leg broke in Dec. I went to the store to get a replacement part and of course was told by 3 different people (it’s not my job, it’s not my job, it’s not my job) I was given a phone number to txt pics of my bed. I txt the pics and was told the part was ordered. Even received a number . A month and a half went by and no part. I txt again and was asked to send pics of the serial number. I sent that and was told the part was on the way again. Now (almost April) I txt again asking for an update. I was told they can’t get my part anymore and we are sorry for the inconvenience. What a joke! You will get lots of smiles and lots of service when you go to buy your item. Just hope you don’t need anything after. It’s always someone else’s job or someone else’s fault.

Now the gentlemen did outstanding because he went to the back warehouse and found me a picture. I loved the picture. Once I got home and hung the picture up I noticed this long split in my picture. So I go back to picture I took in my phone prior to buying it and noticed the split. So my point is he knew that split was there and should have advised me. I believe that was very wrong. I had to take the picture down because it’s very noticeable. So I’m still without a picture

We went in looking for some nightstands, and left with 2 nightstands, a giant ottoman and 2 bookcases to be delivered. Everyone we walked past was very friendly, we even were able to go to the warehouse and pick up some of our order that day.

I purchased a recliner from the airways store only to find out that the item I purchased was out of stock at the warehouse. Three weeks later I was able to set up an appointment to pick up the recliner after work. Got to the warehouse at the allotted time only to find that the warehouse was closed. Finally able to take delivery of the recliner, got the recliner home and took it out of the box only to find that it was defective from the factory in Vietnam. Ashley sent a repair company called SAW to try and repair the BRAND NEW recliner on three different occasions with the recliner being no better than it was in the beginning. These people are AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! Finally got a replacement six months after I took delivery of the recliner.

I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE STARS. MR. CAMPBELL HELPED ME IN WHAT WAS A LIMITED BUDGET. HE MADE SHOPPING FUN AND READY TO BUY MORE. Even though they were under remodeling..I was in and out about 30 minutes..I knew I was looking for...got a great price online for a full bedroom set, mattress and box spring..

Went in to the Southaven store on Feb 26th. White guy passed us off to the the black guy. That's ok. I asked why. The answer was " He felt it was a better fit for us and the sale'" COOL!!! Placed the order. The sectional came first. It was ok but the chaise was on the wrong side. The table arrived 3 days later in a box. It was delivered to the wrong address even after we alerted them that the wrong address was on the paperwork and it as too big. Called the store. We were advised to call Guest Services. Have been trying for the last four days to get someone on the phone. The one day that we did get someone on the phone 1. we were told there was no refund on the table we didn't want and 2. we were put on hold to speak with a manager that never came on line after holding for 45 minutes. The guest service rep hug up. This is bad business and we will never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again while advising everyone we know to NEVER BUY anything. If there id no return, customers should be told. I guess then that would hurt sales. So why tell when it hurts Ashley's bottom line. We could have cancelled the order before delivery!!

DO NOT BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN! THEY WILL FIND ANY AND EVERY REASON TO DENY IT! ITS JUST AN UPSALE GIMMICK! The moment you call for a claim they will say its not covered!

I arrived to the location at near closing time, needing to purchase an inflatable mattress. Assistant store manager Thomas Galmore was very attentive, helpful, professional, and insightful. He went above and beyond even after closing time to ensure that. I received the items that I truly need for my new move. After such excellent service, I reached out to all my family members and instructed them to visit the Ashley furniture Southaven location to experience the high level of surface that I did.

My wife and I went to Ashley to look for a sectional. We found the one we loved and were excited to have it delivered that weekend. Unfortunately, once it delivered, we found that they brought two different colors and had to ask them to take it back. The delivery drivers left the pieces that were supposedly correct instead of taking everything back (later the store tried to hold us accountable for this when discussing returning all product). Our next thought was to obviously reach out to our sales rep that worked with us in store, who convinced us that he resolved the issue and that our next delivery would be correct, however, when it delivered, the color was still wrong. Meanwhile, we asked them about a tear in the fabric on one of the pieces that the drivers had left behind and were told we could not return it but they would ship us a fabric and a technician would come to install the fabric professionally. Not the best option in my opinion but that’s fine. Well Ashley sent pillow stuffing instead of fabric. Back to the sectional — upon talking with a manager, we get no clear answers. Looks like this is going to have to be a full return and looks like they’re going to make us fight for it.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! This has by far been the biggest headache I’ve had while ordering/receiving furniture. At the time of my visit to Ashley everything seemed great and my salesperson Shun seemed like he had me situated. But at the time of delivery, the sectional I ordered came in different colors (after being told by shun that only one color existed). I call him and the online customer care, and they both said it’s fixed. I scheduled my new delivery date and what do you know, it’s WRONG again. Two different colors are being delivered, so I tell them to take it back. I call the store and they’re basically saying they’re fixing it but they said that last time and it was a lie. At this point it’s been a week and a half that I’ve not had a couch and no one of the team is concerned and it has become a blame game on both parts of the corporation, the store front and the online customer care service. I AM DISGUSTED by the service and if they accepted returns I would have taken this back a long time ago but of course they just want money without providing quality service.

My service person and his manager at the store were great they tried to fix what they could, but Ashley as a company was horrible. My furniture was delivered damaged and it took 2 months to get it fixed only because I repeatedly called them. I also ordered furniture from Havertys at the same time and their service person rep had a repairmen to my house the next day. They put Ashley to shame. Will not be using Ashley anymore they didn't not value my time, money or business.

My experience was awesome quick and efficient. Everyone was friendly from the second my husband and I walked through the door. The manager and sales woman made us feel welcome and they were very friendly and helpful. The stock guy helped us load the bed and he was extremely nice as well. Over all my experience was a 10/10. I will be visiting again.

After reviewing my sales contract I noticed a $599.99 charge for a protection plan. When my sales person was discussing the plan with me he failed to tell me that there was a charge for it. I don’t want this, I also wanted a box spring with my mattress that I don’t have, he also told me he would give me a discount of 35% on my purchase I don’t see on my contract. I’ve decided I want to cancel this sale.

I made a purchase 12/18/2023. I was told my furniture would be delivered 12/22/2023. I was also told that I would receive a call on 12/21/2023 with a delivery time. Around 4pm central time I called to get an estimated delivery time. I was then informed that my order was in layaway and a delivery time was not scheduled. Now I currently have to wait for 48 hours for a call back. Clearly the assistant manager Leroy is an imbecile. I guess because his fiancé was hangin out at the store had him distracted.

Customer service was decent, but could have been better. When I walked in I knew what I wanted and expected to be in the store ten minutes or less. The salesman took care of me, but instead of leaving me to take care of the business and get me on my way he joined in the conversation with the other salesman who didn't have any customers. That was the only thing I didn't appreciate. Everything else was ok.

From the time I walked in the store till now getting my delivery it has been a pleasure. The customer service by Xavier was amazing. He really helped me out.

I 1st went to the location at 7951 Winchester Road in Memphis. I walked around the entire store, I sat on the furniture that I wanted to purchase for 20 minutes, and no one tried to help me. I truly believe that it was because of my melanated skin. Once I decided to leave, then, and only then did someone ask me if I was being serviced. I loved the experience at Ashley furniture. I was greeted at the door with a smile. I stated my price range and my interests to a Miss Tyna. I was shown great options and then an item that I've not seen before, love at first site. All my questions were answered and even then I wanted to sleep on it. The next day, same experience followed by a quick purchase. What I like most was the patience to allow me to make an informed decision and not feel rushed. The act of showing me what I want.
