DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Took our payment. Said we could pick it up after a certain date. Went to warehouse after the pickup date. Not all items were ready. Guaranteed that by the next weekend all would be ready to pick up. Went the next weekend and still not there. They kept pushing the date. Went to the store to get a refund. Manager said it would be canceled. Here it is a week later and I called the customer service line as instructed the store manager. Found out it was never canceled. Hope to get my money back soon!!!!!

Do not purchase warranty. You suppose to receive a store credit when you don't use warranty. That's a lie. They give you the run around and no help. Keep hearing someone will get back with you on 24hr since the middle of November. I would not refer anyone to purchase anything from here. Not even step foot in the store or online

I had much better experience with Mrs Allison than the last (2020) encounter there was no deception she made sure everything was transparent.

The store is very nice but I have been trying to get help on a mattress that I brought back in January of 2025, which has a ten year warranty on it. The mattress started sinking in the middle about August and I have been going through the devil trying to get the problem fixed. I have send over 2000$ in this store and can not get a problem solved.

I was looking for a mattress for my son and Ashley was able to show me one. I met the Sleep Doctor to provide me with the details of what the mattress can and will do concerning his health and I met my salesperson Rochelle. Ashley provided me with assistance, had the furniture in stock and ready to be delivered on the date I need. Will follow up with another post after delivery!

Smooth transition weather was rainy

Great service. Mrs. Lawanda was so patient with me!! She allowed me to browse the store and afterwards helped me decide on my top 3 choices. She stayed within my budget and provided detailed information about prices, warranty, and payment options. Thank you Ashley’s!! I cannot wait for my new furniture. 5/5 stars for customer service inside the store. Update: I received my furniture. I am waiting on parts and a technician to fix a brand new recliner. Unfortunately, I realized one of the ends of the 2 sofas wasn’t opening properly 2 weeks after receiving it so Ashley wouldn’t provide me a replacement. I had to file a claim. This has been the most frustrating time since everything is with a 3rd party. I learned my lesson. Hopefully no one else has an experience like mine. 1.5/5 stars for literally everything else.

Evette and Sean gave us top tier service. They were friendly, patient, and thorough despite the fact we got there at about 6:30 pm. They closed at 8pm. We were very specific about what we wanted. When what we wanted did not match the amount we were approved for they made it happen. They are a great team! We look forward to working with them again as soon as we pay off our brand new power recliner!

I have a receipt and text messages confirming my delivery was scheduled for August 8. On August 8, I called to check the status and was told that the delivery was scheduled for August 14 without consulting me. I asked for a refund and was told that somebody would call me back. I would give 0 stars if I could.

The worst customer service I've ever had. My wife went to the store on July 31st to purchase furniture. The sales person told her all prices were going up on August 1 20% due to tariffs (she had a friend with her that confirmed the conversation). The sales person kept following my wife around the store complaining about the tariffs and kept reinforcing she needed to buy immediately to avoid the 20% increase that will hit all furniture in the store the following day. I waited until August 2nd to go back to the store to see if all furniture went up 20%. No suprise - there was no price increase. I asked for the manager to let him know I did not appreciate the sales people using scare tactics to try to sell furniture. He didn't stand up to greet me and just told me there may be a price increase, I had to scan the price cards to see if the price went up - this sound to me like false advertising as all of the furniture had pricing listed, but he is implying the displayed price may not be correct. My recommendation - do not shop here. I do not appreciate unethical sales tactics.

DONT BUY FURNITURE INSURANCE! I have normally had great experiences with Ashley furniture. I have used them to decorate most of my house. I received an email about credit to be used to a future purchase due to not using the furniture insurance. I was in need of new barstools so I thought why not. I found some stools online but was told that I could not use the credit towards that and it had to be an in-store purchase. I go to the store and there are no bar Stools that meet my kitchen bar height news, but I cannot order them either. Since I did not want the credit to go to waste, I looked And ended up liking a kitchen table set. The table was on clearance. I was then told I had to spend at least $500. Then, Because it was a floor model on clearance, I could not use credit towards that either. So basically I have $350 that I can’t use. Just given the run around to still end up empty handed

Horrible customer service. I talked to ALLISON on the phone said they would honor sale prices online. We drove a hour and a half to come pick it up get here and she’s saying a totally different price. Will not be buying any furniture from ASHELY FURNITURE IN SOUTHAVEN.

A few years ago we bought recliners from these people and up paid for extended warranty. We was told after so long if we didn’t use the extended warranty we could get our money back on the money we up paid for the warranty. We went back after that time period and was informed that we could get store credit! We was NEVER told that EVER! So here we are a few years later and I’m ready to purchase new furniture for my new home and my people that’s buying my house are looking for a complete house full of furniture. Well guess who’s not getting this sale this week 💸Sorry Ashley, I told y’all when I left that day you’d regret that one day. So long!

I recently purchased a sectional and recliner from Ashley Furniture. I had already seen the Furniture previously and knew what I wanted. I contacted the store where I spoke with Allison about my purchase. She worked with me over the phone and also via text and email to ensure I had an easy process. The payment system we had some issues with but was resolved quickly and efficiently. I did make sure that what I was ordering was in stock at the warehouse before as we needed something immediately. We did pick up our order the next day in Memphis and that went well too. I would recommend using Ashley if they have the product in stock. Once we bought a bed and it took two months to recieve all the pieces. Overall I am happy with my experience.

My wife & I originally went in to purchase a mattress & foundation yet leaving the store she spotted a couch, love seat & rocker recliner, all electric reclining with USB charging ports. The purchases were made, though a bit pricey, but the thing you have to watch for is Ashley adding promotional fees near $100, so watch out for this, and if you schedule a delivery they don't tell you there's a charge for that, which costs me $300. Buyer Beware!

I told her that I wanted to purchase a new mattress. She showed me multiple options and actually sat there as I tested each one that she suggested. She even helped me to get my purchase financed. I had a pleasant experience at Ashley furniture! My sales person was Ms.Liza she did a great job of showing me things that I needed. I also went in with a budget and she helped me stay within it!! The only thing I didn’t like was I had to pay for 2 separate deliveries which was about 300$ I didn’t feel that was fair but whatever! Overall it was a good experience!!

We had the BEST experience at Ashley Furniture. This was our first time buying from them and the employees help and assistance and patience as we searched for the perfect couch was fantastic! We worked with (I will misspell it sorry) Chataque and Aliza?? I am not sure how to spell their names but they were the absolute best at helping my husband and I. We ended up getting approved to get a couch, loveseat and a chair and couldn’t be happier. We had laughs and just chilled while everything was getting ready and it was the best experience ever! Terrible experience. The sale person was friendly at first until we removed the protection plan she added to our purchase without asking us. Her attitude just turned 180 degrees, mad and rude. We canceled the order when we found out she added extra $50 to the price when we came home. Cancellation is a nightmare too. Took about 4 hours to get the order canceled. Roomtogo is a better store.

We went shopping for a bedroom suit and the experience started off OK, until we went to buy a mattress. That's when it went south by trying to sale me a 17,000 $ mattress and adjustable frame after finding out that my credit was great We were taken to the most expensive mattresses when I said oh no thats way to much I was asked how much do I want to spend on a mattress I was scoffed at. I was told that I couldn't get a good mattress for $500 to 1,000 $ this definitely made my experience not great along with the constant up salling made it feel more like dealing with a car dealer and we left feeling not so good about our almost 4,000 $ purchase .The only solace was the four year Interest free financing . Definitely going to shop around more in the future

I went in for a king bed paying for it with cash only to find out the bed will not arrive until 2 months from now. That is unacceptable.

First time shoppet/buyer. Looking for 4 barstools needed right away for family coming in for the holidays - needing extra seating for meal time. In store experience was good. I selected to pick up the following day and paid to have them assembled. I didn't make it to the warehouse to pick them up the following day because it was after 4:00. But I called the next morning @ 8:35 to let the warehouse know I was on the way to pick up my assembled stools. I arrived at the warehouse at 9:20am, 3 other cars in line before me. All had their deliveries made, still in boxes, so none had to be assembled. They all left. I was the only customer waiting. Then another customer pulls up, they wait a while, then their furniture comes out- sofa and chair- no need to assemble- and then they leave. Again, I'm the only customer waiting. 11:10 someone comes out to say they're bringing my stools out after they wrap them in plastic. I say ok. When the first 2 come out, placed them in the back of my SUV, I noticed the legs on one of them are scratches and chips of wood missing. The man tells me he can get the furniture tech to come look at it to see if it can be fixed. He says he can. It's now 11:20. I asked if he could do it right away and he said it'd take about 15-20 mins. I said that's fine, I've been here for 2 hours now, I can wait a few more mins. It was about 20 mins. On my way home, I called the store manager to complain about my 2 hr wait. The assistant Mgr took my call. She thought the assembly was only offered to delivery orders. But she said she'd check with the regular manager and find out and report back to me. Assistant Mgr was apologetic and offered me a10% discount on my next order, which is nice, but it won't be any time soon and doesn't help now that I lost 2 hours of my time sitting in my car when I had grocery shopping to do for company coming in that same day. And the main thing is- if the assembly is only offered on delivery orders, ALL the store employees NEED to know this! And I understand there have probably been times when furniture was assembled and then the customer never picks up or changes their mind on the furniture so it was a waste of time and now you have to put it somewhere BUT when I called to say I was on my way that morning (especially since I missed picking it up the day before), you'd think they would have it already assembled when I got there an hour from my call or at least started on it?! And here's an idea, If the assembly is available for pickup orders and a customer never picks up OR changes their mind on that order, charge them another assembly fee. You could have them sign a place on their order form in the beginning about this extra fee for not picking up their assembled furniture. If that happens, you have their address, and credit card, slap that extra fee on them if they don't pick up their assembled furniture. Anything But making someone/anyone wait 2 hours!!!! Geez!

Great customer service, love the experience

I ordered a bookcase and was told that it would be delivered and put together. The guys that delivered it said they did have the brackets to put the shelves on. They said they would put in an order for the brackets and someone would come out to put the shelves in. This was 9/4/24. No one called so I called back on the 6th. The lady I spoke with said she had no records showing I needed the brackets. She said she would check with the wear house but in the meantime she would put in an order for the brackets. I called back on today, 9/11 and was told that the order was placed on the 9th. 3 days later and that the brackets would not come until next week. I talked to Maria on the corporate office and another person before her and was told that no one would be putting the shelves on, that would have to do it myself. Now I was told that someone would come out and put them on by the person who sold me the furniture, the guys who delivered the furniture and the person who ordered the brackets. When I told Maria this, she said she was sorry but I was misinformed by three people and that Ashley had a no return policy when I told her they needed to come back and get the bookcase being I couldn’t use it. She did take 100 dollars off my bill for my inconvenience which I don’t feel is enough. I have all of the things that need to go on the shelves laying on my dining room table. This is unacceptable. I will be having guests this weekend and now I have to have a half finished book case. I am so disappointed. But of course there’s nothing I can do!!!!!

Order arrived but was missing one of the items. Guy said it was on back order...although when I ordered and paid for it, it was in stock. Now I have no information as to when it will be deliverd. The delivery guy was to desired. He went in out bedroom and closed the door to have a personal call with his girlfriend/wife. He literally huffed when he had to put the temporary bedframe together. He gave us no paperwork or information as to when my bedroom chest would be delivered. The way he told me that the chest was on back order was off and made me feel 'weird.' Overall poor attitude.

Recently had a terrible experience at this store. A woman named Taya Chuda waited on me. After traveling to the store in addition to several phone calls a purchase & a price was agreed on. I asked to get the price info emailed to me since she was unable to supply me with that at the store. Red flag! Fair enough I was ready to spend my money. Upon receiving the email there was no correct agreed on price information. I emailed her back & asked for the price information. Following this debaucle I called the store & left two messages with other store personnel. I did not receive any call backs at any time. From anyone. Perhaps Ashley furniture doesn't need my business? I will never set foot in that store again. And I will also share this.

UPDATE: It is now 11/12 and l have yet to see the $400 plus dollars credit on my credit card statement. I’ve been VERY patient and keep getting the run around. I see the “owner” or whomever only responds to positive post. I will make one more call tomorrow to figure this mess out. After that, l will get my lawyer involved. Started off as an amazing experience of course because they were trying to make some money 🙄🙄. Unfortunately, I’ve been trying to have an ottoman delivered since 7/27. They have been to my house 4 times. I’m not sure who’s doing quality control, but they obviously don’t do a good job. I called after the third delivery attempt and y’all assured me the fourth time would be successful. That was a lie. The ottoman was still dirty. Of course l called the store and text and guess what NOTHING. No one has called after the 4th attempt to deliver the ottoman. Take that ottoman off my bill NOW since no one can deliver clean products. I even told y’all that the couch is already squeaking. As much as y’all charge for furniture, nothing should be squeaky. I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley again and l mean it this time. Delivery dates 7/27 - ottoman ripped and dirty 8/2 - ottoman dirty 8/9 - ottoman dirty 8/20 - ottoman dirty UNACCEPTABLE and lot of my time wasted.

After visiting another furniture store and not finding what I was looking for, I was less hopeful when I came in the store at Ashley. Well… I found way more than I was looking for that day and thanks to Allison, I was able to knock several things off of my list. My experience with Allison was first class. She made the process smooth and was not pushy. MJ, her manager, checked on us several times and was very polite and helpful. I will shop there again and so should you.

I went in to purchase a night stand and the saleswoman Allison ordered the incorrect color. I immediately notified her of the mistake and she told me her manager had to approve the return ticket. After a couple days of no communication I called and spoke with a male manager. He stated that he would start the ticket and Allison would get back with me. That never happened and after a day I called and spoke with a female manager and she told me she saw the notes but no ticket. She told me she put the ticket in and she’d give me a call when the warehouse approves it. ( have the text thread which also shows the conversation). After a few days still nothing and she stopped responding. I called the 1800 number and they stated I had to deal with the store I purchased from. Finally I went to the warehouse and the receptionist explained what I needed to do. I went to Winchester they gave me a return credit and I was able to go to the warehouse and pick up my nightstand. If the Southaven store would have used communication skills my problem would have been solved days ago. This store mission and vision cannot at all be able communication and quality service because I receive neither one and nothing was done about it. Thank you Winchester store for fixing a problem you did not create. I will never buy anything from the Southaven store again.

Would not recommend this particular store to anybody. Poor communication once you receive the item even if they got your order wrong on their end. The furniture itself is nice but there need to be a change in management.

We stopped in late and tired on a Sunday. We thought we'd already decided on a sofa and loveseat from another company, but wanted to comparison shop to be sure. We were warmly greeted by Teya, who listened attentively to what we wanted and helped us zero in on a few choices. She patiently answered our questions and let us test each piece a few times. She also ensured we got the earliest delivery possible. She also opened our eyes to the world of bed risers - technology is definitely trying to address needs for better health. We'll receive the furniture later this week, but Teya certainly made the shopping experience painless. Update: the furniture delivery crew was very professional, friendly, and efficient. They made sure to confirm the delivery, set everything up, and ensure we were happy with their service and merchandise.

We went in to look at mattresses for my very bad back. Xavier greeted us at the door and helped us with his great knowledge of all the mattresses. He didn't rush us in our decisions and allowed us all the time we needed. Our experience was outstanding and much better than previous visits shopping for furniture 5 years ago.
