Bought a desk on clearance. It was marked at $510. I asked the salesman if that's as low as they would go and he said he could take it down to $430. There was a cord missing, so after we paid for it, i googled the model number to see if i could find the exact cord that goes to it, only to find it on Ashley's website BRAND NEW IN A BOX for $439. I feel the salesman KC was a bit misleading and should have either told me the price of a brand new one or discounted it further. That will be the last time we shop there.

Customer is Never Right! After viewing many sofas and chairs at the Ballwin Ashley Furniture Home Store on the weekend of February 24 and 25, we decided to order a sofa and chair as a gift for a family member. Drake had helped us in the store. I telephoned on February 26 to place an order by telephone. Drake was not working. Bailey took my telephone order. Neither mentioned anything about what a "no return and no refund" policy. The invoice provided by email does not mention this. The website mentions nothing. Furniture was delivered on February 29. It would not go through our family member's front screen porch door. The driver and his assistant suggested that my husband could, later remove the door frame and it would fit. They placed the sofa and chair in the garage (now not able to be used for almost a month in the spring storms and hail). They said there might be a restocking fee. Again, no mention of no refund no return. Since then: one trip back to the store where even the manager told us there is NO avenue to assist with returns; 17 telephone calls to Ashley Furniture Home Store's customer service and guest care, many times disconnected; chats online with Ashley folks who seem to care until they discover unused, unwrapped furniture is in the garage and was left by their driver (then they quit responding); a dispute filed with AMEX (they are not charging us); BBB registered complaint (the Ashley rep who handles BBB complaints [and there are more than 4,000!] telephoned once to offer us reselection and collection. but we no longer want to work with Ashley/buy from Ashley); and many, many requests for a manager to return my call (NONE HAVE) and we still cannot use our garage, we still have no refund. The two pieces are still unused and wrapped! Extremely POOR business model. BUYER BEWARE!
