I will not buy anymore furniture from Ashley. Recliner control does not work and I have been waiting all week for someone to come and fix it. They still haven't come. I asked to speak to the manager and they would not transfer me to the manager. Well it has been two weeks and my recliner is still not fixed. Got the run around again and the same Asian guy would not let me talk to a manager or supervisor. They were supposed to have a tech time yesterday. No one showed up. Called again and they didn't know anything about it. He said it would be June 11th for a tech to come and fix it. I told them to come and get their damn chair. Was on the phone yesterday for 45 minutes and got no where. Went to the store in person and was told the repairs are thru another company and they don't have thing to do with repairs. Sorry this is not acceptable. This company represents ashley furniture and they are really giving you crappy service. The Asian guy was very rude and still would not let me talk to a manager or supervisor.

The sales person sold a bed without informing us, they won't remove the old bed (even if we pay a fee). The delivery guy had to be turned back and we had to cancel the whole purchase. Another furniture store took the old bed with no fee and we bought from them obviously.

That was the best experience ever! The staff is great!

The purchase was easy. However, the salesman said it would be delivered on Friday (purchased on Wednesday) after taking off work to be available for delivery. There was no communication of delivery. Once I called the number provided I was told the following Tuesday was the soonest available delivery date. So now I have to take off ANOTHER day to accommodate what the salesman could’ve more accurately calculated the first time.

By this point, I am pretty sure we are getting scammed (dramatic but true). We purchased a sectional in early November. It was delivered with cosmetic issues. I struggled to turn it in to get it reviewed because the software was clunky. Then, I was told that a technician would be out the following Saturday. Saturday comes around and by 3:00, no one had showed up. I called and was told that they cancelled. I received no notification of that. I asked if we could just get a discount and call it a wash. I was offered 5% (which was around $20). I declined and I was told someone would be out in mid-December and I would get an email with scheduling options. I wanted another piece to my couch, so I placed an order at the store so I could get the Black Friday discount. Then, a week later in November, I received a text saying my technician for the first piece would be out the next day (less than 12 hours of notice). This did not work, so I rescheduled to the first week of December and requested they just replace the piece completely because I was tired of waiting on this technician. My second piece was supposed to be delivered on November 29. I reached out several times that day and was told it was coming. Finally, I was told that they never loaded it on the truck and they would schedule it for the same day as the original piece. The pieces were supposed to be delivered today. I never received a confirmation text, so I reached out. I was told that they couldn't find information about it. They then reached out and told me the truck was broken and they would try for Saturday. They were only aware we had one piece and didn't actually schedule delivery for the second until I clarified I wanted both pieces delivered. By now, my husband and I are seriously regretting our purchase and are concerned that the furniture will never come. Once our furniture arrives, we will not be doing business with Ashley again.

We had an amazing experience today. Jake was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the products available . He really helped us in choosing our couch despite knowing what we wanted he went ahead and explained about other products which was so helpful.Michelle was also helpful when it came to payment options. I highly recommend them and I can’t wait to come back for more furniture.

My problem is not specifically with this store but with the company - and if you buy here it’s out of their hands once you’ve paid for your purchase. Delivery is unreliable and you’ll be waiting for hours past the promised time. Customer service has no right to call itself that. You can’t reach the store directly but are put in queue for their call center. I purchased a rug in June and first was told it would arrive around August 23 then when that didn’t happen the date changed to October 11. When it didn’t arrive then I called to cancel the order and was told it would be coming November 8. I said I needed to get a rug and didn’t want to be given any more made up dates. I was transferred to the Cancellation department and was told I could expect a refund on my card within 5-7 business days. Three weeks later I called to see why no refund had been issued and was told my “case” showed no updates and that it was under review by their Finance Department. I’ll be calling daily until I get my refund. Don’t get yourself into this situation! Shop elsewhere!

There’s a few things with the sectional that aren’t suppose to be on the couch! It just got delivered today and this is what i find. This is a brand new couch. I need a solution here….

The console that I received today is obviously repaired piece that someone returned before. It was dirty all over, the glass on the top is scratched and the drawer is crooked and inside the drawer the right side is unhinged. This is 2nd console that I received. The 1st one I didn't accept at all - the drawer was very visibly off - surprised that someone let a pieceof furnitureto go like that to a customer!!. This is the replacement I received today and I'm very disappointed that I got a re-worked console!!! Very unacceptable!!! That's Ashley, not Amazon!! When I put it between the sectional chairs it doesn't look straight. Very disappointed!!!

They told us it would be zero percent interest if paid off by the due date. Come to find out when we got the card. It has interest AND a “monthly charge” unless the balance is under $10. This is the absolute worst place to purchase furniture. I bought a dresser, mirror, and bed frame A MONTH ago. I was supposed to get it 2 weeks after my order. I had received three test messages confirming its delivery three days prior to it being delivered. That Saturday before my supposed Tuesday delivery, I received a call saying that my bed frame was being delayed until August 5th. I was livid because I took work off to receive this delivery and they told me last second. But hey, things happen. They told me I was still going to receive my dresser and mirror on the 22nd of July though so I kept that day blocked for my job. I had called customer service to get compensation for my delivery fee and they left me on hold for AN HOUR. All to tell me they would only offer 30 bucks. They “tried” to get me to the s supervisor, but every single time I called which at this point I had called a few times trying to see where my order was or find out more about my order. The supervisor was “on lunch”. They told me that the supervisor would reach back out to me and they never did. To make matters worse, I called on the 29th when they told me I was gonna get my dresser and mirror delivered because I wanted to talk to the supervisor who had never reached out to me and I had my delivery scheduled for 1:45, I called them at 1:20 to talk to them about what was going on with my bed set and it came up that they had canceled my order for that day the one that I was literally sitting on my couch waiting for, after I received three confirming text messages that they were on their way. Wasting another day of pay. At this point, I am at two days off of work to try to get this delivery. I called them and asked them for compensation because they had never delivered my stuff and it’s been a month and two weeks now, and they had wasted two days of my work and was trying to get my delivery feedback because they still have not delivered my stuff. And all they could do was $60. I don’t feel like I’m unreasonable asking for my three days of pay and my delivery feedback. Because they keep rescheduling this delivery and I’m at the point where I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen. I ended up going into the store itself to try to talk to a manager in there since everyone that I called customer service over the phone couldn’t help me, and the guy there wrote down all this information to “give to the manager”- Who, you guessed it was on lunch. That was two weeks ago and I’m still waiting for an update on that. All this to say, I will never in my life ever order from Ashley furniture ever again. They have been the most disrespectful, unhelpful, irritating people I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. At this point, I have probably spent five hours on the phone with these people and all they can do is offer me $60. Tell me that’s not the biggest kick in the nuts. DO NOT SUPPORT ASHLEY FURNITURE. THEY ARE THE MOST MONUMENTAL WASTE OF TIME. They have horrible customer service and they do not care at all about when your order gets there. We’ll see if it actually comes on the 5th of August- A MONTH and TWO WEEKS later.

Maureen was the sales associate that assisted me in finding the chair I was searching for. She made sure to listen to what I was looking for (I knew exactly what I wanted as far as style and color went) so she made sure to show me everything that was in stock. The only downside is that I have to wait a month before my chair is delivered (we don’t live that far from St. Louis) and I didn’t have the option to have it delivered to the store, saving me $79 in fees..

Mattresses was supposed to be delivered today, July 9th, they rescheduled delivery, very disappointing as we needed the mattress here before my husband’s surgery on July 11.

We had a great in store experience. The salesman was very nice and knew his products well. It was a great experience. However, we bought a mattress that does not feel the same as it did in store. Unfortunately I have been having back and neck pain since purchasing this bed. Our bed doesn't qualify for any return or replacement. I was not very happy with the customer service that I received when I called in about my concerns. We will look elsewhere for future furniture purchases.

I’m amending an earlier review as was awful as is the following customer service. We paid extra for “white glove”. They would set up the dresser and mirror. When they arrived, they did not have the hardware to attach the mirror to the dresser. The delivery person told me they would bring it from the warehouse and set it up this afternoon. I signed. I should have looked closer as then, via the chatbot, they told me they would mail the parts in 7-10 days to the house. I called the store to see if they could bring hardware from the dresser at the store. No, they won’t do that and I have to wait 1-2 hours for the warehouse to answer back. I guess I am supposed to wait 7-10 days then put it up myself? It’s heavy. There is no way I can do that. I have a wedding and guests arriving. The person at the store said since she wasn’t there she didn’t know what the delivery driver said. I told her I did. Maybe she didn’t believe me. That wasn’t great either. Then, on closer inspection I see, when I get on my knees there is damage. Do not shop here.The salesman was great, but after that - no.

Amazing customer service!

Nathaniel was very knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. There were many options and he worked with us to find what would work best for our space and our family. It was a no-pressure environment and everything with payment, financing, and delivery was explained thoroughly.

Absolutely horrible experience with their distribution center. Store employees were great in trying to help. It was over 2 months to get my item delivered. Seven times it was promised. They no longer give you the option to pick up at store. Will probably never buy there again.

The two gentlemen greeted me with a smile and a handshake…had the furniture in the house with expert ease all the while watching out for the plants and doorframe. Although the independent contractor they used for delivery was less than satisfactory, we really love the new couch we got!

Our furniture was delivered with faulty parts. When we tried to call the store, they sent us to the warranty department. Now I have to file a claim on something that was literally just delivered. Our experience at the store was awful, our sales associate just kept being pissed off about other people taking his sales. A manager came over to help and heard him and tried to laugh it off and say "oh, he's having a bad day". Meanwhile he's upset that we only purchased a coffee table and it wasn't good enough. I gotta say I am not impressed.

Got the chair I wanted at the price I wanted. Didn’t even have to negotiate all that hard. Dennis was great to work with. Day of delivery went pretty well. Running a little late but they kept in communication. Delivery guys did a great job getting it set up!

Visited today. Very nice people. Very helpful, and although their delivery is pretty quick, they would not sell anything off the floor today, in the moment. Was ready to buy so I went to Midwest Clearance and found nearly the same chair, in a better color for the same price. Loaded it up and its at my house today! Still, they have a nice selection and I would not discourage anyone from purchasing from Ashley.

Awful. Utterly awful experience. First, they do not have any products in stock whatsoever. You will have to wait months for the manufacturer in China to make the item and then wait a few more months for delivery. THEN, you will have missing parts and Ashley furniture will not help you. Finally, you will make a return, get your money back and make a bad review. Horrid company. I have reached out several times already and NO ANSWERs. The below copy and paste response is insulting.

Save yourself some time and money, and go to Furniture Row instead. Long story short every time I do business with these people something comes up. Bought an entire bedroom set with them 5 years ago. Delivery was rescheduled 3 times. Slept on the floor for those because they're incompetent. When it arrived they didn't bring the box springs. Slept on the floor another 4 days until it arrived. Sales person sold me on a $399.99 insurance which he said could be used as store credit in 5 years if no claims were filed. Fast forward 5 years, went in the store to use the credit, purchased an entryway table for $339. They called me saying I owed $185. Questioned them why and all the sudden the conversation became about the fact I had to spend $500 minimum to be able to claim the credit, which apparently I signed an agreement for but was never notified by any of the representatives I dealt with about. Not the one for the first sale, not the one last weekend either. I understand following contracts. I also understand that if it is their fault/miscommunication they should make it right by their customers. Spoke with a manager called Leah and she's as incompetent as the staff, if not more. In the meantime, I bought a sectional couch and a dining room table with 8 chairs from Furniture Row and not only paid WAY less than anything this store was offering, but also got great customer service and both deliveries on time. They also assembled my dining room table for free. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. EDIT: they have a guy there called Nate, and he's really good and friendly. Possibly the only one in the store.

WARNING: Unethical Practices and Deceptive Business Tactics at Ashley HomeStore I am writing this review to warn potential buyers about the appalling service I’ve received from Ashley HomeStore and its partner, Ácima. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from falling victim to these illegal and unethical business practices. After purchasing furniture from Ashley HomeStore, I quickly encountered delivery issues that were mishandled by both the store and Ácima. Despite several attempts to resolve the problem, neither company has taken responsibility for the mistakes made. Instead, they’ve blamed each other for the delays and poor communication, leaving me without the correct furniture I paid for and facing weeks of unnecessary charges. Although i have the items as of 2/13/25 after purchasing on 12/21/25. In addition to the lack of accountability, both companies have shown a complete disregard for customer service. I have been financially trapped into debt due to their negligence, and after numerous follow-ups, I’ve seen no real effort to make things right. Instead, I’ve been subjected to deceptive practices and a lack of transparency. This is not an isolated issue, as Ashley HomeStore has been involved in multiple class-action lawsuits for similar customer complaints regarding delivery delays, deceptive billing practices, and poor service. It’s clear that these problems are systemic, and I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from them to proceed with extreme caution. If you’ve been affected by similar issues, I encourage you to speak out and take action. Consumers should not be financially burdened by a company’s incompetence and disregard for the law. Nate was exceptional to work with & was very helpful with listening to what we wanted! *******WARNING********ALERT******* This is an edit to my previous review that I posted on the day after my purchase! Wow, has everything changed since then! First they changed my delivery date from a Saturday to a Tuesday so that meant I had no furniture for 4 days to sit on (I’ve had 2 back surgeries) The first delivery team professional and nice, the second team was rude and obnoxious, and the third team was apologetic because he told the warehouse the piece was dirty but they told him to send it anyway! Yes they’ve been here 3 times and my order is still not completed!! The buying process was great to work with Nate but it sure ended there! I bought my sectional and bedroom suite in February and nothing but problems with delivery since…it is now April and I still do not have a CLEAN oversized ottoman to go with the sectional. They have delivered 3 DIRTY ottomans! They also had to replace the right side of the sectional because it had 2 rips in the back of it and one cushion was dirty, the second one they brought they had me inspect it BEFORE they attached it and it was clean so I accepted it and they made me sign to accept it, but once they attached it there approx a 2 inch gap between the pieces. You can not contact the store directly anymore, it goes to customer service and they don’t seem to care, they just say we will reschedule AGAIN! However, Michelle from the store did give me her cell # I tried to call she didn’t answer so I texted her and she said… “Ok. At this point.. what do you want me to do from here? I’ve tried to get them to double and triple check the product before loading. I don’t really know what else I can do. I am very frustrated for you as well. This is not the type of service we want our name behind.” Last delivery she did tell us she was sorry and would refund delivery fee, she heard the rude and obnoxious delivery team and wondered how I kept my cool with them…kudos to me! I’ve kept my cool and haven’t raised my voice once but I’m at a loss, not just financially with this company, but mentally as well! So for anyone looking to buy furniture and to keep your sanity go elsewhere to buy your furniture or be ready for a struggle to get your merchandise! May the odds forever be in your favor!

They messed up on delivery and are making me reschedule for their mistakes. Would not recommend due to previous orders in the past. Basically you will get scheduled 3 weeks out then magically their vehicle will break down and can't complete your order.

Ordered furniture in August and scheduled the delivery for mid October. Received an alert it was available sooner for delivery, but declined due to scheduling conflicts and opted to keep original date. Two days before delivery and after scheduling the day off I received a delivery confirmation and after confirming, it then told me it is scheduled for November 20th. I tried to reach out via automated messaging that said select 0 to speak with an agent and after sending 0 the reply was "invalid entry". Attempted multiple times without success. I tried calling customer service but it just listed their business hours and I was calling at 12PM CST and then it hung up. Finally got through by calling the store I purchased the furniture from. The answer was, well it was available for delivery earlier but now it's not and is now backorder. I asked if this will happen again in November but the assured me it wouldn't because I confirmed my delivery, the same way I confirmed it for October 23rd. I guess we will see. Just a frustrating situation and lack accessibility for customer questions and concerns.

I purchased a new sectional couch July 28th this year. The couch was delivered damaged so it was refused. The 2nd attempted delivery had a damaged arm of the left side. We called immediately to let them know it was damaged internally. Then fast forward 5-6 weeks and multiple calls/emails the replacement section was delivered with even worse issues and we refused the delivery. I’ve talked to multiple people again asking for a full refund and take the entire couch back. I’ve missed work days and wasted many hours dealing with this issue and have become very aggravated with the lack of customer service and care for their products quality. They offered me $250 on a $4000 couch and will not refund or take the couch back. Ashley furniture does not care about the customer or the quality of their product. Save yourself the headache and take your money somewhere else. Check the better business bureau for all the other people’s complaints and the real stories of Ashely furniture. Friendly people at the store but once you get product they don’t and will not stand behind their products as a company. I don’t not recommend this company nor will I ever shop there again. Look on Facebook and the complaint groups that have dealt with Ashley and their tactics and poor business model. Stay away from this organization.

Go anywhere else if possible. Bought a mattress that they said they "financed" but was actually just opening a credit card with another company and putting it on the new credit card. Never received any information on how to pay said credit card. Sales people are worse than used car salesman. Won't be using them in the future.

We ordered three bed frames, one chair, one ottoman, one sofa chase, two mattresses, and one end table. The chair, ottoman, and one mattress came in a week after our purchase. The other mattress was delivered two weeks from the purchase. The two bed frames, which we were promised would be assembled (which were not), also arrived two weeks from the purchase. I still cannot get a delivery date for my bed frame which has to be assembled together with the headboard. (We've been sleeping on a mattress on the ground) Also, I cannot schedule delivery for the sofa chase or end table. The chatbot is useless and asks me if I want my stuff way further out than when I talk to real people. I've never had to work so hard to get furniture delivered, while also being lied to about the assembly of it. In my opinion, the wait is not worth the savings, nor the extended delays I've experienced in delivery. I will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley again. If you think this review is bad, then you should ask my wife what she thinks.

I'm really frustrated with Ashley products and their customer service. Most of the delivered orders have problems and this shows their poor quality control system. Fixing the problems takes a long time and wastes our time fixing or replacing the items. I never come back to the Ashley store.

Walked in and right off the bat I was greeted by a sales person, I looked for a bit, then another sales person asked me if I needed help, right after that, the same sales person who was male came over and gave me papers on getting a new mattress although I came to look at dining sets, walked out after that terrible experience.

I would not recommend Ashley furniture especially if you purchase anything that will possibly require a part or replacement, you will be disappointed like me. We have been loyal Ashley customers for years and after one purchase, we were given the run around on getting a desk fixed and replaced. After one month the item stopped working and we called to get service out. Service came out after awhile and said it couldn’t be fixed. After inquiring about an update, they said they’d order parts that were delayed over the next 6 months and they had no record of someone coming out to our house for repair or my claim. Made another. Then they started to harass me and ask me to keep the desk for $60 off that cost me $500. I said no I wanted a return. They refused. After another few months they offered to exchange that desk. Well that desk didn’t work either. Made another claim (no record of any of my other claims still) and still waiting on parts. I went in to the store after speaking with the parts department and they said to ask for an exchange of another item or refund. I would accept the exchange of another item. Now they are refusing that. Only gave it a 2 star because the manager and customer service rep were helpful but limited in their own jobs. Very disappointing.

I was sold a protection plan for $400 that they explicitly told me covered pet damage. Now they are denying my claim.

I had the best experience at the Columbia Missouri location. Mo (manager) and Dennis were so kind, patient and worked with us. Both are very smart and know what they’re doing. They were completely transparent about all sales and saved me over $2,000 on two beautiful leather sectionals! The other employees were also welcoming when we walked in the door. Thank you all!

Never again will I shop here. I have bought many things here before and this is mostly reviewing the company and less the store but they take away all discretion from the store and put it to corporate. I bought a table and chairs in April, after 2 deliveries (first one had broken items), 3 days off work to accept deliveries and wait for a tech to fix the broken merchandise, it has now broken again. They refuse to return the items and want to send out another tech to fix it. This process has cost me more time and days off work than the time it would have taken to drive to a decent furniture store that can still assist their customers.

Decided we needed a new shelf and showed up on a whim. Happened to come in during the New Year's sales. Excellent customer service from Mohammed Z. He wasn't over bearing or pushy. Gave us the run down of the sales/events and pointed us in the right direction. Once we'd found something we liked, it wasn't too long before Mohammed checked in on us. Minimal wait for assistance, and once stock was checked, we were able to secure our item for delivery quickly. We even got free delivery in CoMo! Definitely a great shopping experience. Only thing I'd change is cost/price, but it's a store for NEW furniture. I expect it'll be well worth it once our fancy new board game shelf shows up.

This is the quality of the sofa I bought. I've pd a lot less for a sofa and lasted for many years. I called the local store and spoke to someone about this but, they wouldn't do anything. It had been 2 yrs at that point so I was SOL. I thought I was getting a good couch that would last me for many years. Very disappointed in Ashley's quality. When I can afford to buy another one, it will not come from there.

It's all good until you actually need to use the 1 year warranty. I'm 3 months into trying to get a cushion replaced. I call every few weeks to check on the status and either hear that the previous representative never placed the order, or that they can't find any record of my previous calls. I have called 5 times now, with several weeks in-between calls. It blows my mind how poorly organized it is, and makes me wonder if it's intentionally set up to make people give up on trying to get their furniture fixed so they save money. We'll likely be shopping elsewhere next time, this has been a terrible experience.

The sales staff was great. One piece of the furniture arrived damaged. I have gotten a lot of run around from the company. They now say the piece needed for repair is being shipped from overseas and won't even ship until the end of September. That means probably 8 weeks of an unusable piece for al.ost 8 weeks. I called the store my phone call was never returned. I will not buy from Ashley Furniture again. This was my first time and I have learned a lesson. I am now waiting for my credit card company to intervene and they said they will. Very disappointed.

Everything was good until one of movers was rushing and dropped our nightstand and broke it. I now have to wait for a new one. If they would have taken their time it would not have been broken. I am now inconvenienced with waiting for a new one. I need my new nightstand as soon as possible.

Salesman Nathaniel is awesome!! Very knowledgeable in what I was shopping for helped me make the right choice on the bedroom suite and new mattress. I also told him I wanted my contact info in the system and not my fiancés for delivery because I would be home and he wouldn’t be able to answer his phone. I called and talked to their customer service multiple times to make sure they had my contact information for delivery because I knew I was going to be the one home but they never listened and didn’t save my information. After being given 3 different delivery dates they finally show up today and drive right past my house going so fast down my gravel road I can’t even stop them or wave them down. I tried to call the Columbia store number and the call went to customer support instead so I couldn’t even get ahold of who I actually needed to get ahold of. I live a couple hours from the warehouse/store so if they’re in the area, why not just go ahead and get it delivered??? But instead since they couldn’t get ahold of the number on file (my fiancé) they went ahead and pushed delivery back another 2 weeks. I told them they could just keep the dresser and give my money back. I will never purchase anything from them ever again!!!

The gentlemen that delivered our furniture were very professional.

We paid extra for the "safe home" delivery. Our salesman, Nate, assured us that everything would come together at once and in a timely fashion (we were trying to get our guest room ready for family coming into town). Instead, what happened is they forgot part of our order because it was "keyed in incorrectly". Then, after rescheduling the delivery and taking off work again, they dropped off the rest our furniture and didn't assemble it (again, because it was keyed in incorrectly). To get this resolved, they were very unhelpful and offered no apologies or compensation for their mistakes. They asked me to take off work a third time to have someone come out and assemble our furniture in a few days. Very unprofessional, disorganized, and I will not be purchasing from Ashley again.

Ordered a bed over the phone for my son in Columbia Mo. nick was so helpful as the one I looked at online was not available. I live in Chicago so could not visit their store. Nick helped me order one similar to the one I had wanted, set up delivery with assembly for my son who uses a wheelchair. Horrible service. 5 hours to order a sectional, lamp and bed. The lamp was missing a part. They ordered it and I heard from Ashley and they said they will send it right out. They sent several items, including an item that is not listed as a part. The screw was not gold like everything else, it was black, too thin, too long, and sharp on the bottom edge, instead of flat. They forgot to add the free box springs that came free with the bed. It was added, but is not the low box spring requested, as it is just as thick as the mattress. I was told my headboard would not fit, that I had, since it was not Ashley, but Wayfair. So I bought a headboard. I was told the headboard will mount onto the adjustable base. I could have used any headboard, nothing can mount on the base. I have to lean it against the wall. I was told not only does the adjustable base adjust head and feet, it can be adjusted for height, so the bed would not be too high. That was a lie. It is too high and not adjustable. I went in they stated they would correct it, and then they would call. They never did. I complained to customer service. They said they would call. They constantly closed the ticket, and said the store denies everything. My sales man was Nate. Anything for a commission. I also worked with Payton, who assured me and my son he will fix everything. Then I was told Payton said, I never spoke to him. Every edit changes to a new date. If you wanted to make good you would. My original purchase was mid December. It wasn't until the last edit you finally responded. No I will not text an unknown number. If you cared about your customers you would have responded. Why tell you the store? Can you not see that this review is on a actual store review out of Columbia, Missouri? 🙄 No I will not text an unknown number. I am now paying for a bed frame that is still in boxes in my bedroom and has been for the past month. I am also informed that it will be probably another 2 weeks before a team comes out to assemble this frame. The initial delivery team forgot the hardware, but assured me the next team would bring the hardware and assemble the frame. That didn't happen after two weeks so I went back to my local store and they put in a ticket. Sometime the next week I received a text to put in an order for parts to be MAILED to me, and I couldn't schedule a team until I received the parts. Another 10 days pass and I have no parts nor any followup. I complained again and turns out, they never actually put in the order for parts. Now I'm waiting ANOTHER 7-10 days for the parts to be sent via mail, only after which a team will be scheduled to come out. This was an absolutely horrible experience that I'm, again, now paying for without having anything to show for it. Under no circumstances would I recommend Ashley to anyone. Go somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculously terrible experience.

We saw Ashley was having a great furniture deal on YouTube! So on a whim, we stopped by and thanks to Dennis we found exactly what we wanted! It was in stock and we are able to have it delivered before all our guests come for Christmas! We may have went over a 100 different options, but Dennis was, patient, helpful and extremely knowledgeable…even showing us options that were not on the showroom floor! We walked into Ashley Furniture just to look around and get some ideas. Then Nate greeted us and showed us the Tempur Pedic beds and explained to us the benefits of a better night's sleep on one of those beds. So after laying on a few of them, we decided to purchase one because of how comfortable and beneficial it will be as an investment in our future. I will admit that Nate was very knowledgeable and he was very respectful, courteous, friendly and straightforward. Which is why we will be going back to Ashley Furniture.

The worst purchasing and sales processing experience I have ever encountered. I spent over 7k at this store. I purchased a tv stand that was defective. The sales person I worked with by the name of Anthony kept advising me that resolving the matter is outside his scope. I was refused connection with the management team at the store. I was also refused names of management at this store. I believe this was all in an effort for them to exclude themselves from responsibility on the matter. Which will not be the case as I'm not escalating the issue to a corporate and BBB level. It has been 1.5 weeks since initial delivery, 4 hours combined of my time trying to get this issue resolved with the store and with the customer service store. This was the first and last time I purchased through Ashley homestore. I highly encourage any consumers to not purchase through this organization. If you do want to purchase through Ashley surely do not do it at this store and their deceitful and unfair business practices and handling.

We save $700 by coming to Ashley and buying exact same mattress we were just about to buy at a mattress store here in town. Exact same product. $700 cheaper. Shut up and take my money. Payton was your salesman and he did a great job of walking through the process. They have a little bit of everything for your home. Not the worst way to spend a Saturday.

I called its been 4 weeks and the automated system tells me 6 to 8 weeks. I paid cash so I wait for 3 to 4 months. They would have more stars if they delivered within a 1 month timeframe

They charged me for $1200 more than it was listed for on their website (same exact item #, delivery & protection plan & taxes). I had to cancel the order I placed in the store and order online. BEWARE!

EDIT TO ADD: After the below comment I sent an email to Ashley as requested. I have not heard anything from them. Do not purchase the protection plan through Ashley Official when purchasing furniture. They tell you when they sell it that it covers all sorts of things and give you the terms but when you go to make claims on your furniture the company will deny them with any other excuse they can come up with. I know we won’t be taking our business to Ashley furniture anymore and I suggest you don’t either.

Paul was very nice and had a sense of humor which I appreciate. I picked out my livingroom, dinigroom, and some bedroom pieces. Terrible products, terrible service. Do.Not.Shop.Here. We bought a warranty to protect our new furniture and recently found out the warranty doesn’t even cover what the store advertises. After spending several thousands of dollars at the store, our furniture is useless.

Everyone here has an incredibly intense "salesperson" energy to them, and it makes it really annoying to exist in there for more than 5 minutes. It feels more like you're at some shady used-car dealership than a furniture store. They greet you at the door, fine. My problem is when I say "I'm just looking" and they keep talking to me, trying to sell me something I don't want or need. I'm not actually clueless, it's actually code for "leave me alone, I don't want help right now". Then again, they probably already know that. They want a commission. It makes what would be a quick 15 minute stop-in-and-peek into an hour long nightmare of trying to pretend that I care about what they're saying. If I had poor social skills I would just walk away in the middle of the conversation, but I don't, so I couldn't. I wish commissions didn't exist.

We were so excited to get a complete bedroom set!!! However, when the furniture was delivered every piece was damaged in some way. A repair man came to fix them a month later and used a wax crayon which rubbed off and said 1 piece needed to be replaced. 5 refused deliveries due to damages later, we still don't have a replacement for that piece. The items that were fixed with a wax crayon, I had to make multiple calls to get a second repair man to come take a look. The second repair man requested new furniture for those 5 pieces (we purchased 6 total). One month after his request we still haven't received any replacements for those. I've tried calling the store I purchased from, customer service, and multiple requests to speak with managers but after this long I feel like we will never have an undamaged item delivered. This has been a very disappointing experience overall. The sales man was nice and I understand that's what they do, but I honestly wish we hadn't purchased anything from Ashley Furniture. If you do purchase from Ashley Furniture, please inspect your items. Really look at them with a flashlight and make sure your drawers close properly before the delivery team leaves your house. That's my best advice for anyone thinking of spending money with them. I will not even go into another Ashley Furniture ever again just because of this one bad experience that has lasted almost a year.

Solid couch. Two months late

Ridiculous amount of required signatures to purchase a small low cost item. I almost told them just forget it. Never have I had this many paper signings before outside of buying a house. This will drive customers away!!!!

An absolutely wonderful experience. Needed 2 matching recliners and additional seating for a new home. Paul was fantastic. Complete knowledge of product; able to incorporate what we needed (husband is very tall, etc) and even suggested a better layout. These great people stayed late to get us situated. Ended up purchasing the 2 recliners and a navy leather couch. While it wasn't cheap i left believing Paul helped us save as much as possible and didn't feel we were overcharged. Highly recommend

Poor communication from this store. Mattress and base were supposed to be delivered the 12th, for some reason they were not. Never got a call on why it was not delivered with the other furniture we bought from this store. I called and set up a new delivery for the 16th, once again was not delivered. Never got a call on why it was not delivered. Went in to the store to cancel my order because I do not care for the unprofessionalism, and was greeted by a very, very rude desk lady. Can not get my down payment back or order canceled until the mattress is back off of the truck in St. Louis. Overall a terrible experience and will never be buying furniture from here again.

Amazing in store staff, good selection, horrible delivery service. They only deliver in our area in Thursdays, and they call you to confirm the delivery date 3 weeks out, but they say they can only schedule it 2 weeks before your delivery date, so they will schedule it the next week. It's confusing as hell, anyway, to make a long story short, they never scheduled the delivery and we are dealing with a almost 2 month out delivery date after our purchase for something that has been in stock this entire time, which I hope actually happens and they don't tell me "sorry" we didn't schedule you like we were supposed to, we need to schedule this again. For the price we paid in shipping they act like a group of interns that have no clue what they are doing and no manager. Someone has to be embezzling those delivery fees as it's sure as hell not going to competent staff.

Dennis was amazing to work with. Everyone was very helpful, there was no pressure on buying something. They gave us information about mattresses that we didn’t know about before and now have an amazing set at a great price. They will definitely be getting our business again.

Salesman/Customer Service: 4/5 stars... Paul was very accommodating and informative. I would have given them a 5/5 stars but the amount of effort I had to put into getting a refund for a cancelled (didn't fit in living room) item was substantial (multiple texts and 2 phone calls over the course of a month) and the refund took about 1 full month. Delivery: 5/5 stars... It was actually really fast. We go ours in less than a few days. The deliverymen were courteous and helpful. We gave them $20/each for their service although this was not expected. Cost: 3/5 stars...The cost was pretty high, but we were able to take advantage of a 20% discount due to buying over a certain cost (Our initial bill was about $2,700.00 which included taxes and delivery). Which was for a large sectional with no moving parts or frills. Additionally, I purchased a $450 insurance which after 5 years I will be able to use as store credit which is actually cool and probably worthwhile. Hopefully the store stays open and I don't just lose the credit.

Terrible experience. After waiting an additional 5 weeks for our couch, this is what was delivered. THEN, after not hearing for 3 days about what happened or where our couch was, we finally got word it would be delivered 3 days later. Skip to today, our expected delivery date - no couch. Then we hear that it “didn’t fit on the truck”. Excuse me? That should’ve been the first couch on that truck today after all of this. Would not recommend and will not be shopping here again.

I was greeted promptly and Nick took me directly to 3 different models that were close to what I was looking for. I was allowed to browse and take my time looking without feeling pressured but help was immediately available when I asked for it. Delivery options were clearly explained and the transaction went smoothly. Overall excellent experience.

Pleasant experience! We were able to walk the store and shop the inventory without feeling the “car salesman” pressure. Christian introduced himself at the door and was kind and helpful when we needed him. Great discounts and beautiful inventory. We are very happy with the products we bought. A little disappointed about the inventory wait time, but that’s out of Ashley’s control.

Our salesperson David was very friendly and had all the answers for the questions we had, the purchasing process was quick and easy, the whoke in store experience was very good. Always have great experiences with purchasing at Ashley. This time was with Nickolas who sold me my furniture and he was great. He was very patient and took care of what I needed and made sure my delivery was going to get to me before I moved into my apartment before move in.

The instore experience was just fine but tryin to get our mattress delivered has been a 6 week escapade on wheter or not or bed even exsist!!

I can only advise everyone to remain aware. Don't be deceived by a sales team that will mislead you about "expedited orders". While they might try to get things in sooner, we were told 2-3 weeks by the salesman. It's been over that and still several weeks to go. Call around. Keep your fingers crossed. Ashley's got a lot of pretty nice stuff in the showroom. Thanks to this lockdown and nation wide shortages most of their products are 4 to 6 months out. The phone support team has been very helpful however. Saved the sale at this point. Ugh.

We were looking for a mattress. When we walked in Will greeted us and showed us our options. He was with us throughout the entire process and answered all of our questions along the way. It was an enjoyable experience and we left feeling as though we made the right choice on the mattress and store.

I’ve bought almost every piece of furniture I own from Ashley, but never again. A piece of furniture we ordered was supposed to be delivered in 8-12 weeks, but kept getting delayed over and over. I had to always call myself to get the status of my order rather than them calling me with updates. It’s been almost 20 weeks now, and when I was told it was delayed again last week, I was done. I went into the store to discuss either cancelling the order or finding another model as a replacement. I didn’t see the piece we ordered on the floor, and when I asked about it, I was told it was clearanced out and sold to someone since they can’t get them in. Rather than checking to see if they had any customers waiting on that item, they just sold it to someone else. When I discussed my options with my salesman, he said “well what do you want to do then” rudely. When I asked if there was any type of discount they could give me for all the issues if we didn’t cancel our purchase, I was told they don’t do that. We went in the next day to go ahead and cancel, and as soon as we walked in the door, one of the salesman yelled “Uh oh!” at us and then asked me if I was in a better mood than the day before. That is completely disrespectful. We ended up ordering from Furniture Row. They showed us exactly how many they had in stock at their actual warehouse and said it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. If you’re wanting to buy some furniture, I advise staying away from Ashley’s and going to Furniture Row. Higher quality products and much better customer service.

If I could, I’d give you ZERO stars. I completely understand things are backed up and I’m more than willing to work with that, but what happened was ridiculous. We ordered a chair from Ashleys around July 15th. We were told we’d be getting the chair in 8-12 weeks, so at the end of October. We waited until the end of October came and nothing. So we waited a few days. We reached out to customer service and were given a date of arrival in mid-November. We then checked again, and were told it would be end of November. Then had to check again and were told December 15. When we didn’t hear anything by December 16, we were told it was delayed yet again. If I was a store manager I’d have the DECENCY to call my customer and explain the situation. But we had to call multiple times about this issue. Turns out the floor model they had of this chair was clearanced out and sold to someone else because of all the trouble they’ve had in getting this model in. Instead of looking to see who they had waiting on this chair and offering the floor model to them, the just put it on clearance and sold it to someone else. Anything to make a buck. We went to the store 4 different times to ask about the chair. The most recent time, someone was helping my girlfriend and said “well ma’am, this is the first we’re hearing about this issue.” That’s funny because at this point we’ve been in the store 4 other occasions about the chair. So apparently y’all don’t keep records; maybe start working on that. We ended up going to Furniture Row and buying a chair from them. They showed us their actual computer screen showing how many of this chair they actually had in stock at the warehouse, and we’re getting it in 2-3 weeks.

We had a great experience! We went in looking for a dining room table and found the perfect one for us. The staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked through the doors. We had Will, he was very helpful and answered all questions we had. He showed us shipping estimated dates and informed us of financing. We ended up buy a table that day and the staff loaded it on our trailer and wrapped the table as it was a clearance item. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely look here for future furniture items!

The sales person I worked with, Paul Lopez, in the Columbia, MO store made the entire experience one of the best shopping trips I have encountered in a long time. I do not like shopping and the day prior the manager took FOREVER just to check me out. No apologies offered. Interesting that Paul ended up apologizing for that long ordeal the following day when I returned to the store. I have no doubt if you deal with Paul you too will have a great experience. All stores need sales staff like Paul. He was not pushy and was going to do all he could to make me a happy customer! Great job on his part. Not sure what the store is thinking in some of their choices in staffing!? I would not have returned to Ashley furniture again if I would not have ended up with a positive experience as I did. Too many other furniture stores in town!

I found the whole experience pleasurable and worry free. Purchasing furniture for your home is something that can be stressful and Dennis at the Columbia, MO location was a huge help.

The sales reps were personal and didn't hover. It was an overall great experience.

My dad and I went to Columbia to go couch shopping. An hour and a half round trip for me and a 3 hour round trip for my dad. We had in mind having to go to different furniture stores so we could get it done in 1 trip, considering our milage, to find what i was looking for for a certain price and faster delivery date and the customization. Ashley's meet all of this for me. Not only was the couch more comfortable, about $500 cheaper and they were able to customize it the way i wanted to fit my front room were as the other place was going to charge me an additional $400 to $500 more for customization. I'm very thankful we chose to go to Ashley's Home store first or we would spent multiple weekends trying to find something that made me happy. Dennis my sales man was very knowledgeable and more interested in helping me find just the right couch for me instead of trying to sell me just anything. I'm very grateful that he was so patient with us and answered all our questions and just hung back until we had something else to ask. He never left our side the whole time. Thank you Dennis.

I was extremely satisfied

I ordered a bedroom set on Labor day. Paid cash.. Salesman and manager told us it would be 5 weeks to receive. Now 3 months out and I'm told it will be 5 more months before it will come in. And no one keeps you updated. You have to call and listen to an automated message about when you will receive your furniture. We were concerned about how long it would take .So we changed our decision about another set that was 10 weeks out . That set would probably take 2 years to get.

The salesman was relaxed, professional, and helpful. We were greeted upon entry and the whole process from start to finish could not have been better.

Will approached us to share the holiday sale but didn’t bombard us with any salesy tactics. He checked on us after we were looking around for a while to make sure we didn’t have any questions, and when we did he was very helpful. We bought some furniture without any pressure and it was a quick, smooth process. Thanks Will! Can’t wait to get our new couch

I went in knowing only that I needed new furniture for my living room. I wasn't sure if I wanted a traditional sofa/love seat combination or try a sectional. I needed something able to withstand two large dogs and multiple grandchildren, something to make my home feel warm and inviting. Jonathan listened, told me to look around and he'd check in with me again. He found me as I sat on a sectional and I was in love. It was comfortable, the material is virtually indestructible, it was waterproof and while it's not leather - it is very wipeable! Then the search for tables was on. I found items I truly loved that, while not matching, were so very close that it made me happy. So, while not knowing what I was looking for, Jonathan helped me talk through everything and I was able to piece together everything to make my house stay to feel like "home". Plus, the current sale was too amazing to pass up!

Purchasing from this store has been an awful experience, as we have yet to receive our furniture and have not received any accurate information. We understand that logistics are challenging right now, which is out of any one person’s control; however, we have received inaccurate information at every step of the way from both sales representatives and managerial staff about the original purchase, estimated delivery timeframes, and delivery itself. This includes the most recent error in a very long saga: notifications that a truck is 10 minutes away when delivery in fact had never even been scheduled.

Bought a lot of Ashley Furniture. Customer service is awesome. Quick to respond. Only had one issue when sales person sold us the wrong item. Customer service took care of it right away. Just bought a other piece of furniture from Ashley. Really like the quality and prices

The rest of the sales team were helpful but Christian lie to my wife and I about the deliver of our furniture sets. So what I got from this is do whatever it takes to get a sale. I feel ripped off, upset, and feel like I wasted my time and money on something that according to him was suppose to be delivered 3 months ago

Employees were very helpful and knowledgeable on all products from the items themselves all the way through the buying and financing process. Highly recommend shopping there. Also with everything going on right now delivery times are very reasonable.

Had a great sale going on and we bought our first brand new sofa after 41 years of marriage.

We ordered our furniture in March of 2021 and it is October with our furniture again being delayed another month. The corporate office when you call says to be honest we have no idea when it will come maybe next year, and the only help they offered was to credit us $40. We have spent over 6k. Absolutely ridiculous. If you want to be sold a product that you can actually use what you paid for, go somewhere else.

Had a great experience. Purchased a new bed.

Ordered a bed frame. Estimated date (Sept. 24th) came and went. Their email said I'd receive an update, no update. I contacted them via facebook (Sept 25th) for an update. Stated it would be a week later. Received an email on Oct 1st, to schedule a delivery date. I set Oct 12th. Today, Oct 12th, my delivery window was 1230 to 330pm. I checked the tracker, stated i was stop 6. First estimated delivery time, 135pm. Update to 210pm Update to 245pm. Updated to 310pm. No more updates. Tracker states it is at stop 6 (my stop) but the map shows them across town. 330pm no update. I call the customer service #. States the tracker is wrong, I'm stop 11 and they will be in rpute when stop 10 is over with no time frame. So here i am, sitting at my house, stuck. This is my second negative experience and my last. Complete disrespect for the customer and their time.

Paul (one of the salesman) was very helpful with everything that we needed. We had just bought a house and needed to fill up the whole place. He gave ideas of how what he thought we might like and was very knowledgeable about what he was doing!

Worse customer service ever!

We purchased bed at the beginning of Sept 2021 and were told it would be delivered in 2-4 weeks. After calling multiple times and spending hours on the phone they now say to expect delivery in March of 2022!! Terrible communication, customer service, and transparency with delivery times.

If it were possible to leave less than one star I would. They sell furniture to people knowing that they can’t provide it. After waiting 5 months we were told it would be another year before they would have parts of our order available. Understand that the furniture is a set so having a bed with out a footboard is useless. Their communication is essentially nonexistent and they do nothing to resolve the issues other than make excuses. They take no responsibility for their poor service.

If I could give no stars I would. Customer service is the absolute worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Our items took months to get here, which was expected at delivery. Took twice as long as they said. The delivery guys were super sketchy, and damaged every single item they delivered making our bed drawers unusable. Now we have waited 2 more months for new furniture that should have been in 2 weeks ago. I have spent HOURS AND HOURS on hold to talk to customer service reps that can’t speak English, or have phones that don’t work properly, or that plain and simple can’t do their job. So when I call the next time, we have to start the process all over again. I absolutely hate Ashley furniture and if I can return the entire purchase that is what I’m going to do.
