This is the absolute worst place to purchase furniture. I bought a dresser, mirror, and bed frame A MONTH ago. I was supposed to get it 2 weeks after my order. I had received three test messages confirming its delivery three days prior to it being delivered. That Saturday before my supposed Tuesday delivery, I received a call saying that my bed frame was being delayed until August 5th. I was livid because I took work off to receive this delivery and they told me last second. But hey, things happen. They told me I was still going to receive my dresser and mirror on the 22nd of July though so I kept that day blocked for my job. I had called customer service to get compensation for my delivery fee and they left me on hold for AN HOUR. All to tell me they would only offer 30 bucks. They “tried” to get me to the s supervisor, but every single time I called which at this point I had called a few times trying to see where my order was or find out more about my order. The supervisor was “on lunch”. They told me that the supervisor would reach back out to me and they never did. To make matters worse, I called on the 29th when they told me I was gonna get my dresser and mirror delivered because I wanted to talk to the supervisor who had never reached out to me and I had my delivery scheduled for 1:45, I called them at 1:20 to talk to them about what was going on with my bed set and it came up that they had canceled my order for that day the one that I was literally sitting on my couch waiting for, after I received three confirming text messages that they were on their way. Wasting another day of pay. At this point, I am at two days off of work to try to get this delivery. I called them and asked them for compensation because they had never delivered my stuff and it’s been a month and two weeks now, and they had wasted two days of my work and was trying to get my delivery feedback because they still have not delivered my stuff. And all they could do was $60. I don’t feel like I’m unreasonable asking for my three days of pay and my delivery feedback. Because they keep rescheduling this delivery and I’m at the point where I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen. I ended up going into the store itself to try to talk to a manager in there since everyone that I called customer service over the phone couldn’t help me, and the guy there wrote down all this information to “give to the manager”- Who, you guessed it was on lunch. That was two weeks ago and I’m still waiting for an update on that. All this to say, I will never in my life ever order from Ashley furniture ever again. They have been the most disrespectful, unhelpful, irritating people I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. At this point, I have probably spent five hours on the phone with these people and all they can do is offer me $60. Tell me that’s not the biggest kick in the nuts. DO NOT SUPPORT ASHLEY FURNITURE. THEY ARE THE MOST MONUMENTAL WASTE OF TIME. They have horrible customer service and they do not care at all about when your order gets there. We’ll see if it actually comes on the 5th of August- A MONTH and TWO WEEKS later.
