Ashley Store Columbia, MO

I’m amending an earlier review as was awful as is the following customer service. We paid extra for “white glove”. They would set up the dresser and mirror. When they arrived, they did not have the hardware to attach the mirror to the dresser. The delivery person told me they would bring it from the warehouse and set it up this afternoon. I signed. I should have looked closer as then, via the chatbot, they told me they would mail the parts in 7-10 days to the house. I called the store to see if they could bring hardware from the dresser at the store. No, they won’t do that and I have to wait 1-2 hours for the warehouse to answer back. I guess I am supposed to wait 7-10 days then put it up myself? It’s heavy. There is no way I can do that. I have a wedding and guests arriving. The person at the store said since she wasn’t there she didn’t know what the delivery driver said. I told her I did. Maybe she didn’t believe me. That wasn’t great either. Then, on closer inspection I see, when I get on my knees there is damage. Do not shop here.The salesman was great, but after that - no.

Amazing customer service!

Nathaniel was very knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. There were many options and he worked with us to find what would work best for our space and our family. It was a no-pressure environment and everything with payment, financing, and delivery was explained thoroughly.

Absolutely horrible experience with their distribution center. Store employees were great in trying to help. It was over 2 months to get my item delivered. Seven times it was promised. They no longer give you the option to pick up at store. Will probably never buy there again.

The two gentlemen greeted me with a smile and a handshake…had the furniture in the house with expert ease all the while watching out for the plants and doorframe. They explained how it went together and stayed together…move pieces several times to see the best fit. Absolutely the best!! Give these men a raise!!

Although the independent contractor they used for delivery was less than satisfactory, we really love the new couch we got!

Our furniture was delivered with faulty parts. When we tried to call the store, they sent us to the warranty department. Now I have to file a claim on something that was literally just delivered. Our experience at the store was awful, our sales associate just kept being pissed off about other people taking his sales. A manager came over to help and heard him and tried to laugh it off and say "oh, he's having a bad day". Meanwhile he's upset that we only purchased a coffee table and it wasn't good enough. I gotta say I am not impressed.

Got the chair I wanted at the price I wanted. Didn’t even have to negotiate all that hard. Dennis was great to work with. Day of delivery went pretty well. Running a little late but they kept in communication. Delivery guys did a great job getting it set up!

Visited today. Very nice people. Very helpful, and although their delivery is pretty quick, they would not sell anything off the floor today, in the moment. Was ready to buy so I went to Midwest Clearance and found nearly the same chair, in a better color for the same price. Loaded it up and its at my house today! Still, they have a nice selection and I would not discourage anyone from purchasing from Ashley.

Awful. Utterly awful experience. First, they do not have any products in stock whatsoever. You will have to wait months for the manufacturer in China to make the item and then wait a few more months for delivery. THEN, you will have missing parts and Ashley furniture will not help you. Finally, you will make a return, get your money back and make a bad review. Horrid company. I have reached out several times already and NO ANSWERs. The below copy and paste response is insulting.

My experience at Ashley was fantastic. Very helpful and professional and polite. On a tight budget and helped me find what I could afford. No high pressure at all to buy anything. Sat in many chairs and followed me around in case I had a hard time getting up since I was using cane. Explained everything regardythe product and delivery options. I go there for all my furniture needs.

Save yourself some time and money, and go to Furniture Row instead. Long story short every time I do business with these people something comes up. Bought an entire bedroom set with them 5 years ago. Delivery was rescheduled 3 times. Slept on the floor for those because they're incompetent. When it arrived they didn't bring the box springs. Slept on the floor another 4 days until it arrived. Sales person sold me on a $399.99 insurance which he said could be used as store credit in 5 years if no claims were filed. Fast forward 5 years, went in the store to use the credit, purchased an entryway table for $339. They called me saying I owed $185. Questioned them why and all the sudden the conversation became about the fact I had to spend $500 minimum to be able to claim the credit, which apparently I signed an agreement for but was never notified by any of the representatives I dealt with about. Not the one for the first sale, not the one last weekend either. I understand following contracts. I also understand that if it is their fault/miscommunication they should make it right by their customers. Spoke with a manager called Leah and she's as incompetent as the staff, if not more. In the meantime, I bought a sectional couch and a dining room table with 8 chairs from Furniture Row and not only paid WAY less than anything this store was offering, but also got great customer service and both deliveries on time. They also assembled my dining room table for free. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. EDIT: they have a guy there called Nate, and he's really good and friendly. Possibly the only one in the store.

My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from falling victim to these illegal and unethical business practices. After purchasing furniture from Ashley HomeStore, I quickly encountered delivery issues that were mishandled by both the store and Ácima. Despite several attempts to resolve the problem, neither company has taken responsibility for the mistakes made. Instead, they’ve blamed each other for the delays and poor communication, leaving me without the correct furniture I paid for and facing weeks of unnecessary charges. Although i have the items as of 2/13/25 after purchasing on 12/21/25. In addition to the lack of accountability, both companies have shown a complete disregard for customer service. I have been financially trapped into debt due to their negligence, and after numerous follow-ups, I’ve seen no real effort to make things right. Instead, I’ve been subjected to deceptive practices and a lack of transparency. This is not an isolated issue, as Ashley HomeStore has been involved in multiple class-action lawsuits for similar customer complaints regarding delivery delays, deceptive billing practices, and poor service. It’s clear that these problems are systemic, and I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from them to proceed with extreme caution. If you’ve been affected by similar issues, I encourage you to speak out and take action. Consumers should not be financially burdened by a company’s incompetence and disregard for the law. I will continue to pursue this matter through all available channels, including consumer protection authorities, to hold Ashley HomeStore and Ácima accountable for their actions. If you had actually read my review and looked at the evidence my partner provided from a separate email review, you would see that I have already reached out multiple times—through calls, texts, and emails—with no resolution. Great service! Nate was exceptional to work with & was very helpful with listening to what we wanted! *******WARNING********ALERT******* This is an edit to my previous review that I posted on the day after my purchase! Wow, has everything changed since then! First they changed my delivery date from a Saturday to a Tuesday so that meant I had no furniture for 4 days to sit on (I’ve had 2 back surgeries) The first delivery team professional and nice, the second team was rude and obnoxious, and the third team was apologetic because he told the warehouse the piece was dirty but they told him to send it anyway! Yes they’ve been here 3 times and my order is still not completed!! The buying process was great to work with Nate but it sure ended there! I bought my sectional and bedroom suite in February and nothing but problems with delivery since…it is now April and I still do not have a CLEAN oversized ottoman to go with the sectional. They have delivered 3 DIRTY ottomans! They also had to replace the right side of the sectional because it had 2 rips in the back of it and one cushion was dirty, the second one they brought they had me inspect it BEFORE they attached it and it was clean so I accepted it and they made me sign to accept it, but once they attached it there approx a 2 inch gap between the pieces. You can not contact the store directly anymore, it goes to customer service and they don’t seem to care, they just say we will reschedule AGAIN! However, Michelle from the store did give me her cell # I tried to call she didn’t answer so I texted her and she said… “Ok. At this point.. what do you want me to do from here? I’ve tried to get them to double and triple check the product before loading. I don’t really know what else I can do. I am very frustrated for you as well. This is not the type of service we want our name behind.” Last delivery she did tell us she was sorry and would refund delivery fee, she heard the rude and obnoxious delivery team and wondered how I kept my cool with them…kudos to me! I’ve kept my cool and haven’t raised my voice once but I’m at a loss, not just financially with this company, but mentally as well! So for anyone looking to buy furniture and to keep your sanity go elsewhere to buy your furniture or be ready for a struggle to get your merchandise! May the odds forever be in your favor!

Nate was extremely patient and knowledgeable. I must have sat on 75% of the loveseats/sofas and asked questions about every one. It was his paying attention to our needs and wants that let us to the perfect sofa. Would definitely recommend him to our family and friends. Michelle was also great assisting with our documents.

They messed up on delivery and are making me reschedule for their mistakes. Would not recommend due to previous orders in the past. Basically you will get scheduled 3 weeks out then magically their vehicle will break down and can't complete your order.

Nathaniel greeted us right away and took the time to show us what we were looking for. The furniture is very good quality. The purchase was very easy. Our table and chairs will be delivered and set up in our home. Looking forward to getting more furniture from here in the near future.

Ordered furniture in August and scheduled the delivery for mid October. Received an alert it was available sooner for delivery, but declined due to scheduling conflicts and opted to keep original date. Two days before delivery and after scheduling the day off I received a delivery confirmation and after confirming, it then told me it is scheduled for November 20th. I tried to reach out via automated messaging that said select 0 to speak with an agent and after sending 0 the reply was "invalid entry". Attempted multiple times without success. I tried calling customer service but it just listed their business hours and I was calling at 12PM CST and then it hung up. Finally got through by calling the store I purchased the furniture from. The answer was, well it was available for delivery earlier but now it's not and is now backorder. I asked if this will happen again in November but the assured me it wouldn't because I confirmed my delivery, the same way I confirmed it for October 23rd. I guess we will see. Just a frustrating situation and lack accessibility for customer questions and concerns.

Wow, what a wonderful sales experience! Kam went above and beyond to ensure we were able to get exactly what we wanted. Definitely built a relationship not just sell us some furniture. No pushy sales techniques, only shared what additional services were available to help us make an informed decision. Applied all available discounts and was able to break our delivery up into two deliveries to ensure we weren't stuck sitting on the floor. Highly recommend 👌 Ask for Kam!

I purchased a new sectional couch July 28th this year. The couch was delivered damaged so it was refused. The 2nd attempted delivery had a damaged arm of the left side. We called immediately to let them know it was damaged internally. Then fast forward 5-6 weeks and multiple calls/emails the replacement section was delivered with even worse issues and we refused the delivery. I’ve talked to multiple people again asking for a full refund and take the entire couch back. I’ve missed work days and wasted many hours dealing with this issue and have become very aggravated with the lack of customer service and care for their products quality. They offered me $250 on a $4000 couch and will not refund or take the couch back. Ashley furniture does not care about the customer or the quality of their product. Save yourself the headache and take your money somewhere else. Check the better business bureau for all the other people’s complaints and the real stories of Ashely furniture. Friendly people at the store but once you get product they don’t and will not stand behind their products as a company. I don’t not recommend this company nor will I ever shop there again. Look on Facebook and the complaint groups that have dealt with Ashley and their tactics and poor business model. Stay away from this organization.

Go anywhere else if possible. Bought a mattress that they said they "financed" but was actually just opening a credit card with another company and putting it on the new credit card. Never received any information on how to pay said credit card. Sales people are worse than used car salesman. Won't be using them in the future.

We ordered three bed frames, one chair, one ottoman, one sofa chase, two mattresses, and one end table. The chair, ottoman, and one mattress came in a week after our purchase. The other mattress was delivered two weeks from the purchase. The two bed frames, which we were promised would be assembled (which were not), also arrived two weeks from the purchase. I still cannot get a delivery date for my bed frame which has to be assembled together with the headboard. (We've been sleeping on a mattress on the ground) Also, I cannot schedule delivery for the sofa chase or end table. The chatbot is useless and asks me if I want my stuff way further out than when I talk to real people. I've never had to work so hard to get furniture delivered, while also being lied to about the assembly of it. In my opinion, the wait is not worth the savings, nor the extended delays I've experienced in delivery. I will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley again. If you think this review is bad, then you should ask my wife what she thinks.

I'm really frustrated with Ashley products and their customer service. Most of the delivered orders have problems and this shows their poor quality control system. Fixing the problems takes a long time and wastes our time fixing or replacing the items. I never come back to the Ashley store.

Walked in and right off the bat I was greeted by a sales person, I looked for a bit, then another sales person asked me if I needed help, right after that, the same sales person who was male came over and gave me papers on getting a new mattress although I came to look at dining sets, walked out after that terrible experience.

I would not recommend Ashley furniture especially if you purchase anything that will possibly require a part or replacement, you will be disappointed like me. We have been loyal Ashley customers for years and after one purchase, we were given the run around on getting a desk fixed and replaced. After one month the item stopped working and we called to get service out. Service came out after awhile and said it couldn’t be fixed. After inquiring about an update, they said they’d order parts that were delayed over the next 6 months and they had no record of someone coming out to our house for repair or my claim. Made another. Then they started to harass me and ask me to keep the desk for $60 off that cost me $500. I said no I wanted a return. They refused. After another few months they offered to exchange that desk. Well that desk didn’t work either. Made another claim (no record of any of my other claims still) and still waiting on parts. I went in to the store after speaking with the parts department and they said to ask for an exchange of another item or refund. I would accept the exchange of another item. Now they are refusing that. Only gave it a 2 star because the manager and customer service rep were helpful but limited in their own jobs. Very disappointing.

I was sold a protection plan for $400 that they explicitly told me covered pet damage. Now they are denying my claim.

I had the best experience at the Columbia Missouri location. Mo (manager) and Dennis were so kind, patient and worked with us. Both are very smart and know what they’re doing. They were completely transparent about all sales and saved me over $2,000 on two beautiful leather sectionals! The other employees were also welcoming when we walked in the door. Thank you all!

Always an excellent experience. I have purchased several times now and always helpful friendly and knowledgeable sales people. Delivery is always on time and seamless. I would not shop anywhere else for furniture as it is good quality furniture

Never again will I shop here. I have bought many things here before and this is mostly reviewing the company and less the store but they take away all discretion from the store and put it to corporate. I bought a table and chairs in April, after 2 deliveries (first one had broken items), 3 days off work to accept deliveries and wait for a tech to fix the broken merchandise, it has now broken again. They refuse to return the items and want to send out another tech to fix it. This process has cost me more time and days off work than the time it would have taken to drive to a decent furniture store that can still assist their customers.

I had the best experience! And I owe it all to Mohammad Zmaili! He was AMAZING! We told him what we wanted and he delivered exactly that! He gave us multiple payment options and explained everything in detail. He also made sure the process was quick and not lengthy but also didn’t rush anything. Great experience shopping at Ashley today. We told the representative what we were looking for, and she showed us a few options then gave us some space to try them and discuss. When we picked out the sectional couch we wanted, the manager came over and explained the pricing options and gave us an even bigger discount than what was already being offered at their spring sale. The pieces are all in stock and are scheduled to be delivered and set up in our home in just over a week! So thankful for the helpful people working at Ashley in Columbia!

I had been doing some internet searches for love seats and modular seating and saw a couple of items that my wife was interested in checking out, not sure if our local store would have what we were interested in. Dennis greeted us and was a great asset in finding what would fill our need and then worked to get a good price. He spent a lot of time with us and was very knowledgeable about the furniture. He gathered up data sheets on the products we were interested in. We went home to verify dimensions and found we had a winner. I went back and ordered our choice. It was a very good experience thanks to Dennis.

Decided we needed a new shelf and showed up on a whim. Happened to come in during the New Year's sales. Excellent customer service from Mohammed Z. He wasn't over bearing or pushy. Gave us the run down of the sales/events and pointed us in the right direction. Once we'd found something we liked, it wasn't too long before Mohammed checked in on us. Minimal wait for assistance, and once stock was checked, we were able to secure our item for delivery quickly. We even got free delivery in CoMo! Definitely a great shopping experience. Only thing I'd change is cost/price, but it's a store for NEW furniture. I expect it'll be well worth it once our fancy new board game shelf shows up.

My wife was in earlier today to purchase a dinning room table. She could not stop raving about the customer service and the help that she received while in the store. She specified that Anthony was a God send. He was patient, kind, helpful and extremely pleasant to work with. We have visited numerous stores both in Columbia, and Kansas City and nothing could compare to the help and service that we received at Ashley’s today. 100/10 on our scale and we will certainly be back. Not only was the service great but the quality of the tank and chairs is outstanding. Thank you Anthony for all of your help and hard work!

After Ashley I tried 4 other furniture stores but didn’t find what I wanted so I went back to Ashley. Adrian was knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. I got exactly what I wanted without being pressured into buying something that I didn’t want. I would recommend Ashley Furniture Store to anyone looking for furniture.

Ashley store has a beautiful selection of furniture pieces. The store is well laid out and easy to navigate. We were quickly greeted by Dennis as soon as we walked in. He was very kind and gave us space to shop alone until we were ready for assistance. He answered all our questions and showed us different collections. We set an appt with him to return another day to select our pieces, etc. He spent HOURS with us laying out dimensions for a sectional sofa and other pieces. He was super patient, knowledgeable and energetic. We had a great visit and will return for future purchases. Everyone there made the experience excellent for us. All smiles and good vibes. This is the quality of the sofa I bought. I've pd a lot less for a sofa and lasted for many years. I called the local store and spoke to someone about this but, they wouldn't do anything. It had been 2 yrs at that point so I was SOL. I thought I was getting a good couch that would last me for many years. Very disappointed in Ashley's quality. When I can afford to buy another one, it will not come from there.

Great experience

It's all good until you actually need to use the 1 year warranty. I'm 3 months into trying to get a cushion replaced. I call every few weeks to check on the status and either hear that the previous representative never placed the order, or that they can't find any record of my previous calls. I have called 5 times now, with several weeks in-between calls. It blows my mind how poorly organized it is, and makes me wonder if it's intentionally set up to make people give up on trying to get their furniture fixed so they save money. We'll likely be shopping elsewhere next time, this has been a terrible experience.

The sales staff was great. One piece of the furniture arrived damaged. I have gotten a lot of run around from the company. They now say the piece needed for repair is being shipped from overseas and won't even ship until the end of September. That means probably 8 weeks of an unusable piece for al.ost 8 weeks. I called the store my phone call was never returned. I will not buy from Ashley Furniture again. This was my first time and I have learned a lesson. I am now waiting for my credit card company to intervene and they said they will. Very disappointed.

Everything was good until one of movers was rushing and dropped our nightstand and broke it. I now have to wait for a new one. If they would have taken their time it would not have been broken. I am now inconvenienced with waiting for a new one. I need my new nightstand as soon as possible.

Salesman Nathaniel is awesome!! Very knowledgeable in what I was shopping for helped me make the right choice on the bedroom suite and new mattress. PSA… NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture Store!!! I bought a dresser over a month ago and was told by the salesman Antonio Rainey it would arrive within 2 weeks and still have not received it. I also told him I wanted my contact info in the system and not my fiancés for delivery because I would be home and he wouldn’t be able to answer his phone. I called and talked to their customer service multiple times to make sure they had my contact information for delivery because I knew I was going to be the one home but they never listened and didn’t save my information. After being given 3 different delivery dates they finally show up today and drive right past my house going so fast down my gravel road I can’t even stop them or wave them down. I tried to call the Columbia store number and the call went to customer support instead so I couldn’t even get ahold of who I actually needed to get ahold of. I live a couple hours from the warehouse/store so if they’re in the area, why not just go ahead and get it delivered??? But instead since they couldn’t get ahold of the number on file (my fiancé) they went ahead and pushed delivery back another 2 weeks. I told them they could just keep the dresser and give my money back. I will never purchase anything from them ever again!!!

The gentlemen that delivered our furniture were very professional.

We paid extra for the "safe home" delivery. Our salesman, Nate, assured us that everything would come together at once and in a timely fashion (we were trying to get our guest room ready for family coming into town). Instead, what happened is they forgot part of our order because it was "keyed in incorrectly". Then, after rescheduling the delivery and taking off work again, they dropped off the rest our furniture and didn't assemble it (again, because it was keyed in incorrectly). To get this resolved, they were very unhelpful and offered no apologies or compensation for their mistakes. They asked me to take off work a third time to have someone come out and assemble our furniture in a few days. Very unprofessional, disorganized, and I will not be purchasing from Ashley again.

I have tried to call customer service three times in the last week and each time it says stay on the line and I never get anyone to answer the phone. Not a good way to support your products.

Ordered a bed over the phone for my son in Columbia Mo. nick was so helpful as the one I looked at online was not available. I live in Chicago so could not visit their store. Nick helped me order one similar to the one I had wanted, set up delivery with assembly for my son who uses a wheelchair. So easy for me, prices were reasonable and Nick was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Would definitely use Ashley again

Horrible service. 5 hours to order a sectional, lamp and bed. The lamp was missing a part. They ordered it and I heard from Ashley and they said they will send it right out. They sent several items, including an item that is not listed as a part. The screw was not gold like everything else, it was black, too thin, too long, and sharp on the bottom edge, instead of flat. They forgot to add the free box springs that came free with the bed. It was added, but is not the low box spring requested, as it is just as thick as the mattress. I was told my headboard would not fit, that I had, since it was not Ashley, but Wayfair. So I bought a headboard. I was told the headboard will mount onto the adjustable base. I could have used any headboard, nothing can mount on the base. I have to lean it against the wall. I was told not only does the adjustable base adjust head and feet, it can be adjusted for height, so the bed would not be too high. That was a lie. It is too high and not adjustable. I went in they stated they would correct it, and then they would call. They never did. I complained to customer service. They said they would call. They constantly closed the ticket, and said the store denies everything. My sales man was Nate. Anything for a commission. I also worked with Payton, who assured me and my son he will fix everything. Then I was told Payton said, I never spoke to him. Every edit changes to a new date. If you wanted to make good you would. My original purchase was mid December. It wasn't until the last edit you finally responded. No I will not text an unknown number. If you cared about your customers you would have responded. Why tell you the store? Can you not see that this review is on a actual store review out of Columbia, Missouri? 🙄 No I will not text an unknown number. I call customer service and they continue to close tickets just to open them again. I made my purchase in mid Dec

Daniel made this probably the best experience at a furniture store ever. He gave us our space, then when we were ready, he answered all of our questions. We made a purchase and can't wait to get it!

I am now paying for a bed frame that is still in boxes in my bedroom and has been for the past month. I am also informed that it will be probably another 2 weeks before a team comes out to assemble this frame. The initial delivery team forgot the hardware, but assured me the next team would bring the hardware and assemble the frame. That didn't happen after two weeks so I went back to my local store and they put in a ticket. Sometime the next week I received a text to put in an order for parts to be MAILED to me, and I couldn't schedule a team until I received the parts. Another 10 days pass and I have no parts nor any followup. I complained again and turns out, they never actually put in the order for parts. Now I'm waiting ANOTHER 7-10 days for the parts to be sent via mail, only after which a team will be scheduled to come out. This was an absolutely horrible experience that I'm, again, now paying for without having anything to show for it. Under no circumstances would I recommend Ashley to anyone. Go somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculously terrible experience.

We saw Ashley was having a great furniture deal on YouTube! So on a whim, we stopped by and thanks to Dennis we found exactly what we wanted! It was in stock and we are able to have it delivered before all our guests come for Christmas! We may have went over a 100 different options, but Dennis was, patient, helpful and extremely knowledgeable…even showing us options that were not on the showroom floor! We walked into Ashley Furniture just to look around and get some ideas. Then Nate greeted us and showed us the Tempur Pedic beds and explained to us the benefits of a better night's sleep on one of those beds. So after laying on a few of them, we decided to purchase one because of how comfortable and beneficial it will be as an investment in our future. I will admit that Nate was very knowledgeable and he was very respectful, courteous, friendly and straightforward. Which is why we will be going back to Ashley Furniture.

The worst purchasing and sales processing experience I have ever encountered. I spent over 7k at this store. I purchased a tv stand that was defective. The sales person I worked with by the name of Anthony kept advising me that resolving the matter is outside his scope. I was refused connection with the management team at the store. I was also refused names of management at this store. I believe this was all in an effort for them to exclude themselves from responsibility on the matter. Which will not be the case as I'm not escalating the issue to a corporate and BBB level. It has been 1.5 weeks since initial delivery, 4 hours combined of my time trying to get this issue resolved with the store and with the customer service store. This was the first and last time I purchased through Ashley homestore. I highly encourage any consumers to not purchase through this organization. If you do want to purchase through Ashley surely do not do it at this store and their deceitful and unfair business practices and handling.

We save $700 by coming to Ashley and buying exact same mattress we were just about to buy at a mattress store here in town. Exact same product. $700 cheaper. Shut up and take my money. Payton was your salesman and he did a great job of walking through the process. They have a little bit of everything for your home. Not the worst way to spend a Saturday.

I ordered a bed which came in two weeks the guys did a great job. Now for my sofa and recliner my livingroom is empty and sitting in lawn chairs is no fun. I called its been 4 weeks and the automated system tells me 6 to 8 weeks. I paid cash so I wait for 3 to 4 months. They would have more stars if they delivered within a 1 month timeframe

Decent selection

They charged me for $1200 more than it was listed for on their website (same exact item #, delivery & protection plan & taxes). I had to cancel the order I placed in the store and order online. BEWARE!

EDIT TO ADD: After the below comment I sent an email to Ashley as requested. I have not heard anything from them. Do not purchase the protection plan through Ashley Official when purchasing furniture. They tell you when they sell it that it covers all sorts of things and give you the terms but when you go to make claims on your furniture the company will deny them with any other excuse they can come up with. I know we won’t be taking our business to Ashley furniture anymore and I suggest you don’t either.

Just moved to the area and needed to ship for furniture, since I was familiar with Ashley furniture already I popped in to see what they had. Paul was very nice and had a sense of humor which I appreciate. I picked out my livingroom, dinigroom, and some bedroom pieces. Once I'm in my new place I'll probably need some other items so will definitely go back.

Terrible products, terrible service. Do.Not.Shop.Here. We bought a warranty to protect our new furniture and recently found out the warranty doesn’t even cover what the store advertises. After spending several thousands of dollars at the store, our furniture is useless.

Everyone here has an incredibly intense "salesperson" energy to them, and it makes it really annoying to exist in there for more than 5 minutes. It feels more like you're at some shady used-car dealership than a furniture store. They greet you at the door, fine. My problem is when I say "I'm just looking" and they keep talking to me, trying to sell me something I don't want or need. I'm not actually clueless, it's actually code for "leave me alone, I don't want help right now". Then again, they probably already know that. They want a commission. It makes what would be a quick 15 minute stop-in-and-peek into an hour long nightmare of trying to pretend that I care about what they're saying. If I had poor social skills I would just walk away in the middle of the conversation, but I don't, so I couldn't. I wish commissions didn't exist.

We were so excited to get a complete bedroom set!!! However, when the furniture was delivered every piece was damaged in some way. A repair man came to fix them a month later and used a wax crayon which rubbed off and said 1 piece needed to be replaced. 5 refused deliveries due to damages later, we still don't have a replacement for that piece. The items that were fixed with a wax crayon, I had to make multiple calls to get a second repair man to come take a look. The second repair man requested new furniture for those 5 pieces (we purchased 6 total). One month after his request we still haven't received any replacements for those. I've tried calling the store I purchased from, customer service, and multiple requests to speak with managers but after this long I feel like we will never have an undamaged item delivered. This has been a very disappointing experience overall. The sales man was nice and I understand that's what they do, but I honestly wish we hadn't purchased anything from Ashley Furniture. If you do purchase from Ashley Furniture, please inspect your items. Really look at them with a flashlight and make sure your drawers close properly before the delivery team leaves your house. That's my best advice for anyone thinking of spending money with them. I will not even go into another Ashley Furniture ever again just because of this one bad experience that has lasted almost a year.

Solid couch. Two months late

Ridiculous amount of required signatures to purchase a small low cost item. I almost told them just forget it. Never have I had this many paper signings before outside of buying a house. This will drive customers away!!!!

An absolutely wonderful experience. Needed 2 matching recliners and additional seating for a new home. Paul was fantastic. Complete knowledge of product; able to incorporate what we needed (husband is very tall, etc) and even suggested a better layout. These great people stayed late to get us situated. Ended up purchasing the 2 recliners and a navy leather couch. While it wasn't cheap i left believing Paul helped us save as much as possible and didn't feel we were overcharged. Highly recommend

The salesman was quick, knowledgeable, attentive, and wrapped up my sale in no time at all. I knew exactly what I wanted so he didn’t have to push much, but he made it easy for me to make the purchase in the moment instead of coming back later.

Poor communication from this store. Mattress and base were supposed to be delivered the 12th, for some reason they were not. Never got a call on why it was not delivered with the other furniture we bought from this store. I called and set up a new delivery for the 16th, once again was not delivered. Never got a call on why it was not delivered. Went in to the store to cancel my order because I do not care for the unprofessionalism, and was greeted by a very, very rude desk lady. Can not get my down payment back or order canceled until the mattress is back off of the truck in St. Louis. Overall a terrible experience and will never be buying furniture from here again.

Amazing in store staff, good selection, horrible delivery service. They only deliver in our area in Thursdays, and they call you to confirm the delivery date 3 weeks out, but they say they can only schedule it 2 weeks before your delivery date, so they will schedule it the next week. It's confusing as hell, anyway, to make a long story short, they never scheduled the delivery and we are dealing with a almost 2 month out delivery date after our purchase for something that has been in stock this entire time, which I hope actually happens and they don't tell me "sorry" we didn't schedule you like we were supposed to, we need to schedule this again. For the price we paid in shipping they act like a group of interns that have no clue what they are doing and no manager. Someone has to be embezzling those delivery fees as it's sure as hell not going to competent staff.

Dennis was amazing to work with. Everyone was very helpful, there was no pressure on buying something. They gave us information about mattresses that we didn’t know about before and now have an amazing set at a great price. They will definitely be getting our business again.

Salesman/Customer Service: 4/5 stars... Paul was very accommodating and informative. I would have given them a 5/5 stars but the amount of effort I had to put into getting a refund for a cancelled (didn't fit in living room) item was substantial (multiple texts and 2 phone calls over the course of a month) and the refund took about 1 full month. Delivery: 5/5 stars... It was actually really fast. We go ours in less than a few days. The deliverymen were courteous and helpful. We gave them $20/each for their service although this was not expected. Cost: 3/5 stars...The cost was pretty high, but we were able to take advantage of a 20% discount due to buying over a certain cost (Our initial bill was about $2,700.00 which included taxes and delivery). Which was for a large sectional with no moving parts or frills. Additionally, I purchased a $450 insurance which after 5 years I will be able to use as store credit which is actually cool and probably worthwhile. Hopefully the store stays open and I don't just lose the credit.

Terrible experience. After waiting an additional 5 weeks for our couch, this is what was delivered. THEN, after not hearing for 3 days about what happened or where our couch was, we finally got word it would be delivered 3 days later. Skip to today, our expected delivery date - no couch. Then we hear that it “didn’t fit on the truck”. Excuse me? That should’ve been the first couch on that truck today after all of this. Would not recommend and will not be shopping here again.

I was greeted promptly and Nick took me directly to 3 different models that were close to what I was looking for. I was allowed to browse and take my time looking without feeling pressured but help was immediately available when I asked for it. Delivery options were clearly explained and the transaction went smoothly. Overall excellent experience.

Pleasant experience! We were able to walk the store and shop the inventory without feeling the “car salesman” pressure. Christian introduced himself at the door and was kind and helpful when we needed him. Great discounts and beautiful inventory. We are very happy with the products we bought. A little disappointed about the inventory wait time, but that’s out of Ashley’s control.

Our salesperson David was very friendly and had all the answers for the questions we had, the purchasing process was quick and easy, the whoke in store experience was very good. We found a couch and loveseat that fit our needs fairly quickly, this was a much better experience than our last couch and loveseat we purchased which by the way was from one of the other stores in Columbia

Always have great experiences with purchasing at Ashley. This time was with Nickolas who sold me my furniture and he was great. He was very patient and took care of what I needed and made sure my delivery was going to get to me before I moved into my apartment before move in.

The instore experience was just fine but tryin to get our mattress delivered has been a 6 week escapade on wheter or not or bed even exsist!!

I can only advise everyone to remain aware. Don't be deceived by a sales team that will mislead you about "expedited orders". While they might try to get things in sooner, we were told 2-3 weeks by the salesman. It's been over that and still several weeks to go. Call around. Keep your fingers crossed. Ashley's got a lot of pretty nice stuff in the showroom. Thanks to this lockdown and nation wide shortages most of their products are 4 to 6 months out. The phone support team has been very helpful however. Saved the sale at this point. Ugh.

We were looking for a mattress. When we walked in Will greeted us and showed us our options. He was with us throughout the entire process and answered all of our questions along the way. It was an enjoyable experience and we left feeling as though we made the right choice on the mattress and store.

I’ve bought almost every piece of furniture I own from Ashley, but never again. A piece of furniture we ordered was supposed to be delivered in 8-12 weeks, but kept getting delayed over and over. I had to always call myself to get the status of my order rather than them calling me with updates. It’s been almost 20 weeks now, and when I was told it was delayed again last week, I was done. I went into the store to discuss either cancelling the order or finding another model as a replacement. I didn’t see the piece we ordered on the floor, and when I asked about it, I was told it was clearanced out and sold to someone since they can’t get them in. Rather than checking to see if they had any customers waiting on that item, they just sold it to someone else. When I discussed my options with my salesman, he said “well what do you want to do then” rudely. When I asked if there was any type of discount they could give me for all the issues if we didn’t cancel our purchase, I was told they don’t do that. We went in the next day to go ahead and cancel, and as soon as we walked in the door, one of the salesman yelled “Uh oh!” at us and then asked me if I was in a better mood than the day before. That is completely disrespectful. We ended up ordering from Furniture Row. They showed us exactly how many they had in stock at their actual warehouse and said it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. If you’re wanting to buy some furniture, I advise staying away from Ashley’s and going to Furniture Row. Higher quality products and much better customer service.

If I could, I’d give you ZERO stars. I completely understand things are backed up and I’m more than willing to work with that, but what happened was ridiculous. We ordered a chair from Ashleys around July 15th. We were told we’d be getting the chair in 8-12 weeks, so at the end of October. We waited until the end of October came and nothing. So we waited a few days. We reached out to customer service and were given a date of arrival in mid-November. We then checked again, and were told it would be end of November. Then had to check again and were told December 15. When we didn’t hear anything by December 16, we were told it was delayed yet again. If I was a store manager I’d have the DECENCY to call my customer and explain the situation. But we had to call multiple times about this issue. Turns out the floor model they had of this chair was clearanced out and sold to someone else because of all the trouble they’ve had in getting this model in. Instead of looking to see who they had waiting on this chair and offering the floor model to them, the just put it on clearance and sold it to someone else. Anything to make a buck. We went to the store 4 different times to ask about the chair. The most recent time, someone was helping my girlfriend and said “well ma’am, this is the first we’re hearing about this issue.” That’s funny because at this point we’ve been in the store 4 other occasions about the chair. So apparently y’all don’t keep records; maybe start working on that. We ended up going to Furniture Row and buying a chair from them. They showed us their actual computer screen showing how many of this chair they actually had in stock at the warehouse, and we’re getting it in 2-3 weeks.

We had a great experience! We went in looking for a dining room table and found the perfect one for us. The staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked through the doors. We had Will, he was very helpful and answered all questions we had. He showed us shipping estimated dates and informed us of financing. We ended up buy a table that day and the staff loaded it on our trailer and wrapped the table as it was a clearance item. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely look here for future furniture items!

The sales person I worked with, Paul Lopez, in the Columbia, MO store made the entire experience one of the best shopping trips I have encountered in a long time. I do not like shopping and the day prior the manager took FOREVER just to check me out. No apologies offered. Interesting that Paul ended up apologizing for that long ordeal the following day when I returned to the store. I have no doubt if you deal with Paul you too will have a great experience. All stores need sales staff like Paul. He was not pushy and was going to do all he could to make me a happy customer! Great job on his part. Not sure what the store is thinking in some of their choices in staffing!? I would not have returned to Ashley furniture again if I would not have ended up with a positive experience as I did. Too many other furniture stores in town!

I found the whole experience pleasurable and worry free. Purchasing furniture for your home is something that can be stressful and Dennis at the Columbia, MO location was a huge help.

The sales reps were personal and didn't hover. It was an overall great experience.

My dad and I went to Columbia to go couch shopping. An hour and a half round trip for me and a 3 hour round trip for my dad. We had in mind having to go to different furniture stores so we could get it done in 1 trip, considering our milage, to find what i was looking for for a certain price and faster delivery date and the customization. Ashley's meet all of this for me. Not only was the couch more comfortable, about $500 cheaper and they were able to customize it the way i wanted to fit my front room were as the other place was going to charge me an additional $400 to $500 more for customization. I'm very thankful we chose to go to Ashley's Home store first or we would spent multiple weekends trying to find something that made me happy. Dennis my sales man was very knowledgeable and more interested in helping me find just the right couch for me instead of trying to sell me just anything. I'm very grateful that he was so patient with us and answered all our questions and just hung back until we had something else to ask. He never left our side the whole time. Thank you Dennis.

I ordered a bedroom set on Labor day. Paid cash.. Salesman and manager told us it would be 5 weeks to receive. Now 3 months out and I'm told it will be 5 more months before it will come in. And no one keeps you updated. You have to call and listen to an automated message about when you will receive your furniture. We were concerned about how long it would take .So we changed our decision about another set that was 10 weeks out . That set would probably take 2 years to get.

The salesman was relaxed, professional, and helpful. We were greeted upon entry and the whole process from start to finish could not have been better.

Will approached us to share the holiday sale but didn’t bombard us with any salesy tactics. He checked on us after we were looking around for a while to make sure we didn’t have any questions, and when we did he was very helpful. We bought some furniture without any pressure and it was a quick, smooth process. Thanks Will! Can’t wait to get our new couch

I went in knowing only that I needed new furniture for my living room. I wasn't sure if I wanted a traditional sofa/love seat combination or try a sectional. I needed something able to withstand two large dogs and multiple grandchildren, something to make my home feel warm and inviting. Jonathan listened, told me to look around and he'd check in with me again. He found me as I sat on a sectional and I was in love. It was comfortable, the material is virtually indestructible, it was waterproof and while it's not leather - it is very wipeable! Then the search for tables was on. I found items I truly loved that, while not matching, were so very close that it made me happy. So, while not knowing what I was looking for, Jonathan helped me talk through everything and I was able to piece together everything to make my house stay to feel like "home". Plus, the current sale was too amazing to pass up!

Purchasing from this store has been an awful experience, as we have yet to receive our furniture and have not received any accurate information. We understand that logistics are challenging right now, which is out of any one person’s control; however, we have received inaccurate information at every step of the way from both sales representatives and managerial staff about the original purchase, estimated delivery timeframes, and delivery itself. This includes the most recent error in a very long saga: notifications that a truck is 10 minutes away when delivery in fact had never even been scheduled.

Bought a lot of Ashley Furniture. Customer service is awesome. Quick to respond. Only had one issue when sales person sold us the wrong item. Customer service took care of it right away. Just bought a other piece of furniture from Ashley. Really like the quality and prices

The rest of the sales team were helpful but Christian lie to my wife and I about the deliver of our furniture sets. So what I got from this is do whatever it takes to get a sale. I feel ripped off, upset, and feel like I wasted my time and money on something that according to him was suppose to be delivered 3 months ago

Employees were very helpful and knowledgeable on all products from the items themselves all the way through the buying and financing process. Highly recommend shopping there. Also with everything going on right now delivery times are very reasonable.

Had a great sale going on and we bought our first brand new sofa after 41 years of marriage.

We ordered our furniture in March of 2021 and it is October with our furniture again being delayed another month. The corporate office when you call says to be honest we have no idea when it will come maybe next year, and the only help they offered was to credit us $40. We have spent over 6k. Absolutely ridiculous. If you want to be sold a product that you can actually use what you paid for, go somewhere else.

Ordered a bed frame. Estimated date (Sept. 24th) came and went. Their email said I'd receive an update, no update. I contacted them via facebook (Sept 25th) for an update. Stated it would be a week later. Received an email on Oct 1st, to schedule a delivery date. I set Oct 12th. Today, Oct 12th, my delivery window was 1230 to 330pm. I checked the tracker, stated i was stop 6. First estimated delivery time, 135pm. Update to 210pm Update to 245pm. Updated to 310pm. No more updates. Tracker states it is at stop 6 (my stop) but the map shows them across town. 330pm no update. I call the customer service #. States the tracker is wrong, I'm stop 11 and they will be in rpute when stop 10 is over with no time frame. So here i am, sitting at my house, stuck. This is my second negative experience and my last. Complete disrespect for the customer and their time.

Paul (one of the salesman) was very helpful with everything that we needed. We had just bought a house and needed to fill up the whole place. He gave ideas of how what he thought we might like and was very knowledgeable about what he was doing!

Worse customer service ever!

We purchased bed at the beginning of Sept 2021 and were told it would be delivered in 2-4 weeks. After calling multiple times and spending hours on the phone they now say to expect delivery in March of 2022!! Terrible communication, customer service, and transparency with delivery times.

If it were possible to leave less than one star I would. They sell furniture to people knowing that they can’t provide it. After waiting 5 months we were told it would be another year before they would have parts of our order available. Understand that the furniture is a set so having a bed with out a footboard is useless. Their communication is essentially nonexistent and they do nothing to resolve the issues other than make excuses. They take no responsibility for their poor service.

If I could give no stars I would. Customer service is the absolute worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Our items took months to get here, which was expected at delivery. Took twice as long as they said. The delivery guys were super sketchy, and damaged every single item they delivered making our bed drawers unusable. Now we have waited 2 more months for new furniture that should have been in 2 weeks ago. I have spent HOURS AND HOURS on hold to talk to customer service reps that can’t speak English, or have phones that don’t work properly, or that plain and simple can’t do their job. So when I call the next time, we have to start the process all over again. I absolutely hate Ashley furniture and if I can return the entire purchase that is what I’m going to do.

Won’t ever do business here again, I have gotten the run around about my refund since AUGUST, it’s almost October. I hadn’t signed any contracts or made any payments besides my down payment. I called again TODAY 9/28/21 to see where my refund was and they still had not started a refund process. Last time I spoke with them before today was 3 weeks ago! I’ve spoken with several rude and misleading people that have lied and have not done their job as far as getting my money back on my card, since August. Never again! American freight will always be the way to go! Ashley Furniture is quick to take your money but not give you back what they owe you.

As far as show room stuff they did a great job with all the bells and whistles! But when it comes to account information, getting your information correct and them being transparent they did a horrible job. I’ve called 4 times and every time it’s a different reason as to why my bills are incorrect and they also won’t fix the address they have on my account and I’ve asked multiple times.

Everything has bad and good that is not the issue with most places it how places take care when you get something bad. I bought about 10000 dollars worth of furniture about 3 yrs ago had a little trouble getting everything not to bad. my matriss is bad iv call they have sent people to my house not 1 but twice both time they said it was bad it should get replaced. just the same as the first time we waited for them to reach use for the store plans. finely a couple months after I stop by the store. they fill out warranty papers. we get a call that want pictures and to come by and look at it. I'm done ill take the 2500 dollar hit and won't return to ashley homestore. If you shop there just remember the furniture is nice just hope you don't have a issue they will not stand behind Product and just give you the runaround. I didn't listen and now I wasted 2500 dollars on a matriss that had a 10 ur warranty. and what you see on the floor is better quality then you actually get.

Think once before ordering furniture. I had a very bad experience with randomly altered delivery dates. Ashley changes delivery frequently and the products are substandard. Thanks

David finished up our sale and explained everything clearly and there weren’t any surprise fees. We had been there 2 times before and couldn’t decide but I received the same service and they were very professional - I never felt pressured to buy until I was ready.

A sales person helped is select a mattres July 2,2022. Told us delivery would be made in one week. No follow up from the store. We checked back 10 days later. We were told some one would follow up with us. This went on after several in persons visits at the store. Today 9/3/2022 we insisted our money be refunded. The store manager agreed. Buyer beware.

Nice quality furniture, but it took absolutely forever for my items to be delivered and the salesperson was not at all up front about that. And then once you've bought, it's like pulling teeth to get a hold of anyone for status updates or anything else.

So I really have to go back on my rave review on Ashley Home Store in Columbia, Mo. I still have not received my furniture after it said it has been delivered. I have delivery confirmation on something that never arrived. Called the store to talk to Nick my salesperson and he will not return any of my phone calls. I ordered the furniture in August knowing it might be awhile before I get it and the old manager said they had them in stock and they were shipping it out. Now no one can find my furniture! On top of everything else they already charged me for it which I found out they are not suppose to charge until it is in your possession. Do not go to Ashley Furniture in Columbia!

The BEST customer service! Our salesman went above and beyond to show me and give the best price with the best quality! My kids were so impatient and he kept their interest while I was deciding on my purchases. I would definitely go back and give them my business again!

The staff was great in the store but the delivery guys ripped the Loveseat. They said they would turn it in to be replaced. 2 days later I called customer service. They knew nothing about it. We will see if I just paid $700 for a loveseat in worse shape than my old one.

I chose Ashley Home Store when I was looking to replace my sofa. I found one online that I loved, and ran to the store to check it out. It was even prettier in person. It is the Morren Sofa. I loved the color because I have a dark gray leather chair and ottoman and an ivory chair. This sofa works with both colors and brings in navy blue as a third color. I wanted this because ALL the cushions are reversible, plus the throw pillows are large with a lovely fabric. The sales representative, Nick, was terrific and patient. We received it quickly and the delivery men were courteous and efficient. It was an all around wonderful shopping experience.

Store experience was good, people there have always done a good job for me. I bought a table and chairs over a year ago. It took 8 months to get the table and three chairs. I am still owed three chairs. I get the pandemic angle and I wouldn't be writing this if someone would just answer the phone. I've tried several numbers to get a status update, the phone rings and rings. Then the line just cuts off. No message, no answering machine, nothing. I've tried several times, over different days at different times. Nothing. I've bought several things from there over the years and I'm sorry to say this is probably my last time shopping there. The corporate support just doesn't seem to match the service locally. My rating is a reflection of the corporate Ashley, NOT the local store. Pretty disappointed.

Horrible customer service. Didn't bother to contact me that my furniture will be pushed back another month. Then a month later they drop off half of my order. Told me they dropping off the rest in a week and didn't do that either. I had to call them many times to find out that I'm now going to have to wait another month.

Loved my shopping experience at Ashley. Paul Lopez was the sales representative that helped us with our mattress purchase. Talk about NO PRESSURE!!! He literally spent 2 hours with us (my wife could not make up her mind) and he and I talked about everything except the fact that if my wife could not make up her mind his two hours would have been completely wasted. He never pressured or rushed her. I usually hate making large purchases but this was the most enjoyable shopping experience I’ve ever had.!

I’ve been to Ashley several times before committing to purchases. The sales associates have always been nice and just let me wander. They’ve been able to show me where the types of furniture I’ve wanted are on the floor and have helped me compare. I recently purchased a sofa, and the salesperson who helped me had no issue with me sitting, stretching, and laying on the two contenders at my leisure. This is the second big purchase I’ve made from Ashley, and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

Plenty of options. Great sales team. David and Tim were awesome. We purchased a 5 piece sectional. Delivery day comes and we only receive 4 pieces. We call to get the 5th piece delivered. They set the delivery date to today 7/8 from 3:45pm to 6:45pm. My wife gets a call at 2pm saying that the driver is at our house (20 miles away) and that since we're not there, they're cancelling our order. My wife had time approved to leave and be at our house by 3:45pm. I called my local Ashley store and spoke with David. He told me that he will make a call and call me back. 30 minutes pass, no call. I call him back and he says there was an issue with "lost funding" with my order. I told him if the funding was lost, they wouldn't have come today at 2pm to deliver the piece... So I call customer service and speak with one guy that I could barely understand. He says he submitted a cancellation and refund request and that I'll receive a call tomorrow to confirm. I told him I'm not changing my mind between now and then so I'll go ahead and speak with that person. He proceeds to tell me that he's transferring me to the Cancellation Department. I speak with a John in Customer Service. He says they don't have a cancellation department. He saw that our information between me and my wife was mixed up. They were sending the refund to her name/number instead of mine so the previous guy messed that up. Stayed on hold for about 5 more minutes, he comes back on the line and says the refund will be processed in 3-5 business days. If we knew this was going to be such a big deal to get what we paid for, we would have gone elsewhere. My advice, if it's not one solid piece or if it's not in the store you're in, DO NOT order it to be delivered. You will regret it.

Update: I received an email from Ashley today saying they have canceled our order and given us a refund. We did not cancel our order nor have we been given any kind of refund so I called customer care and was put on hold while the agent supposedly looked into it and was hung up on; then I called the Columbia store directly and spoke with the manager who also hung up on me after he told me to hold on why he looked into it. I called back to the store and got a voicemail. No furniture, no refund, no customer service after waiting 7 months! I will have to proceed legally now. Terrible business! We ordered our dining room set and barstools on December 5, 2020 and we were told we would have a delivery day of the beginning of February. They finally delivered our dining room table, minus one chair, in May 2021 but told us the barstools and missing dining chair would be in the beginning of April. It is now the middle of June, 2021 and I have been given several different dates and was told today I am now looking at possibly September or October for the 3 matching barstools and missing dining chair. I told them I wanted a full refund and they can take back the table since I don’t have the matching barstools and chair and they told me they do not do that. They said I could cancel the barstools and chair but they won’t take back the matching table. This is simply unacceptable! They have continuously lied to me and giving me fake dates over and over again with never producing my order that is paid for in full! I will never do business with Ashley furniture again!

BUYERS BEWARE. SCAM!!!!! I have only seen one other review about this, but they straight up lied to my face about getting approved to finance the couch I was buying. My credit score is in the near excellent range and said I should only have 1 lender based on that. I proceeded to get 2 other lines of credit opened ON TOP of the one I was told. All for a $500 couch? This hurt my credit score and it is absolutely ridiculous. The customer service on the phone even admitted that it was NOT supposed to happen. I even confronted Christian, the rep, and he just completely disregards my communications. This place is super shady and you best believe I am going to the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint

Great folks to work with! Hit up their one day sale and they actually had things in stock to be delivered the next week. Very nice and friendly staff. Hard to find this quality of service these days

Bought a chair, good deal. Put it together and it was totally different from showroom floor model, took it back to exchange and they realized i had put it together wrong. They fixed my chair right there for me in and out in under 5 min. I felt really silly but they were super nice and i love my chair!

The delivery is a joke. Ordered my couches Feb. 28th and still have not received them. I have had to change the delivery date 4 times. You try calling they are no help. All I’ve asked is before changing the date again just tell me if my stuff is there or not. Been very frustrating.

We were sold two couches two months ago. They told us it would be delivered in 4 weeks. 2 months later they tell us maybe 3 or 4 more months. We tried calling many times with no response. When we showed up David said (wait for it) I was just getting ready to call you!!! Customers service is terrible at this store!!!!

Simple and easy!! We found what we wanted but decided to shop around just to make sure. We have two littles so added on the protection package because it’s a matter of WHEN not IF we will need it.

I have been purchasing Ashley furniture exclusively for 17 years, well that ends today. Ashley furniture will never see another dime of money from me. Their customer service at the corporate level is deplorable, my furniture has been delayed and once my furniture finally arrived at the warehouse, and I had confirmation by three different people of this, my furniture was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, and someone called me today and says it didn’t actually arrive it’ll be there in 2 to 3 more weeks I feel like I’ve been lied to repeatedly. I’ve been dealing with Tim at the store level, and he has done his best, he is always polite always caring and doing everything he can. The people at the corporate level however are not the same story, once you order furniture and they have your money, they simply don’t care.

My wife and I simply wanted to find a new living room table set and ended up buying a TON of furniture! Too funny, but TOTALLY affordable and great quality. We planned on buying more furniture in a few more months, but their sale was perfect timing and the sales team was AWESOME to work with. Kim and Paul were knowledgeable and left us alone to look around/talk and ask questions. By far, the best furniture shopping experience we've ever had! The sales people are a great help, the selection was good, and all of the furniture we were interested in was well made (I didn't really take the time to look into the construction of anything else). What they don't have, you can order and can set up for pickup or delivery. The financing options are awesome, 0 down, or up to 7 year payment plans. My wife is super stoked on our bedroom set purchase and by extension I am happy. 🤣 Talk to Will for some sweet deals, he's the guy! I'll include some photos When we get the rest of our stuff delivered.

I ordered a tv stand in-store in Feb, which was supposed to be delivered in early March. When it finally arrived in late April, it arrived out-of-box, broken and scratched up! Additionally, it was the in-store model that was also missing a couple legs! What the heck?! This was supposed to be brand new. Obviously, I would never recommend this place.

Staff was helpful without being pushy. They showed me all the options and worked with me to meet both my living needs and budget. They even stayed open late to answer all my questions!! Find and talk to Paul he was great!

I have been sofa shopping, and after stopping at a few other stores, I decided to stop at Ashley Home Store. There were many great choices in their inventory, the prices were great as well! I ordered a dining table set. The chairs came seseparately. I was told it would be the beginning of the month when I receive the entire set, nope. Table wasn't coming for another month. So my financial institution released the hold on the funds and they never even sent an email. Also my chairs came missing parts. So, when the authorization was released without my knowledge, I was unaware I'd not paid for the table due to the shipping delay and such. So the rep I called allowed me to schedule a time to pay later and sent the order out. That was sweet as can be. Plus, the process to get the parts needed was quick and sple and the parts came promptly.

Update II: I'm going on 28 weeks (about 6.5 months) since I purchased my furniture. Tim at the Columbia store has helped me in every way that he can. He always seems happy to help and genuinely upset that I'm still waiting on furniture. That being said, I received most of my order in May but am still missing the bed rails, footboard, and chest for my master bedroom. I had already received the nightstand and headboard. Why they can make headboards and not the rest of the bed is beyond me. I can't say enough good things about the people that work for the Columbia location but the company as a whole isn't doing enough for the paying customers. If you are wanting to buy furniture from them, make sure you don't need it in the next 6 months. Update: I called the store and talked to one of the managers (Tim), he has been an incredible help working on expediting my furniture and getting me a credit for the time I spent waiting on my order. I went to Ashley Furniture in Columbia early/mid December to look for furniture for the new house I was purchasing in January. Since this was my first house I needed multiple pieces of furniture (living room, dining room, bedroom furniture). Nick, whom was very nice, was always there to help me. One thing that I did make clear to him was my worry on how long it would take for me to get the furniture. I had about 8 weeks before the purchase of my house and he was adamant that I would have it in 7-10 weeks. I'm now on week 18 and have only received the mattress I purchased. I feel like Nick told me what I needed to hear to make a big sale (spent over $8,000). I checked the bad reviews on google and noticed that the Ashley help center always commented an email address to get ahold of for help. Instead of originally leaving a bad review I went ahead and just emailed the email address. That was around a little less than a month ago and I just keep getting weekly emails saying that they are waiting on the logistics team to email them back. At this point I feel like they are just saying that to make it seem like they are doing something.

My only choice to shop for furniture...was there with my boyfriend cause he's looking to replace a piece of furniture and I found this one Zero Gravity sofa leather full power recline, headrest, heat massage all day all night, USB plug-in, basically I want this for myself...it never fails I find something there I love not like...then I ran into this beautiful chaise lounge couch...Ashley Furniture please keep making furniture to match the whole house..thank you for keeping me interested.

The store is lovely with lots of very nice furniture and lots of choices. The part that knocks my review down is, they have a guaranteed finance company that I was told they where running my credit through and I was approved but a few weeks went by and they had ran my credit through 30 other lenders and had dropped my credit score literally 40 points possibly more cause they seem to keep coming in the mail non-stop.

The location of the store on Business loop Columbia is easy to locate. They have a huge selection to pick from. Ranging from seating sets, dining sets, bedroom sets. I was able to pick an electric coach, love seat, and a matching recliner. At a good deal. Check them out for 👍

Really should be ZERO stars. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on furniture here, with only minor issues in the past. Last set we bought was 100% leather, so we were told. Expensive! Fast forward to a warranty claim just over a year later, and the warranty company employee (needless to say we have not heard from them after submitting our claim!) informs me it is a mix of polyester and polyethylene. NOT leather. I tell her she must be mistaken, she tells me she is looking at the product spec sheet. It is a polyurethane blend. The local store employee even expressed discontent at their own business practices, claiming if he could help me he would because they were clearly in the wrong! The employee that sold it to us no longer works for them, of course! Store manager (Quentin) wouldn't even talk to me by the way! Ashley 1, Jason 0. Well played Ashley, my serve now...

Nice showroom and stock. I was ignored the entire time I was in the store, however. I went in with a specific couch in mind and couldn't find anyone to help me locate it, but finally found it on my own. The tags on the furniture list monthly payments in big print but the actual price in tiny script, so I had to hold the tag in my hand and use my reading glasses, which isn't optimal during a pandemic. Hand sanitizer stations were empty. I had to ask a salesperson who was with another customer if he could help me next, and he said he'd be with me in a few mins, but 25 mins later he never appeared, or anyone else for that matter. I ended up calling Slumberland from the store and ordering the same couch I wanted for $200 less with free delivery. Saw several customers without masks or with their noses out. Some staff with noses uncovered. Super weird that I was ready to buy a couch and couldn't get anyone to let me do that.

I purchased a power recliner January 9th and was told we would get delivery by Feb 28th. They didn't deliver or even call, so I called to find out the delivery would be by March 9th. On March 9th again no delivery or call, so again I called to find out the delivery was pushed back, yet again, until the end of March, or later. I paid this furniture store $1800.00 for 1 recliner that I still don't have. I have no trust that it will even be delivered by the end of this month. I cancelled and got my money back. If you want your furniture by a short time, don't shop here cause you won't get it until months later, if you ever do.

Updated Review Follows: I can no longer in good conscience recommend Ashley Home Store. Every individual I have worked with in person or on the phone has been exceptionally helpful and have provided excellent service. If you need a specific piece of furniture prior to a specific date you should expect that your furniture will not arrive before any agreed upon delivery window. Unfortunately Ashley Home Store appears to have a delivery system intended to trigger as many delivery cancellations as possible and appears intended (from outside the company) to place the responsibility for said cancellations on the consumer. TL;DR Unfortunately the delivery service would warrant zero stars if evaluated separate from the excellent service I have recieved from every staff member I have spoken with. I recognize that supply chain issues are affecting the timelines for delivery and does not factor into the decision to strongly recommend against doing business with this company. If any furniture store does not stock their furniture on site, like Ashley Home Store, you are going to have a long wait for your furniture full stop and your patience with this business model in exchange for the price point is a necessity. That said the logistical side of the business when it comes to delivery is an embarrassment from the most charitable of perspectives. If you don't have a deadline before which you need a specific piece of furniture then Ashley Home Store is still a good place to get your furniture. If you are supremely flexible in your ability to adjust your schedule to accommodate last second unilateral delivery date changes then Ashley Home Store is still a good place to get your furniture from. If this does not describe your situation I cannot recommend purchasing from this business. Keep in mind that if you miss one of these multitude of ridiculous confirm or delivery cancelled messages than you may have additional significant delays impacting your delivery and the company plans to hold you responsible for not responding in a timely manner in order to decrease pressure on company logistics. The account of my experience follows: I needed my recliner to arrive prior to a shoulder surgery and I took steps to make sure I would have it prior to said surgery. My delivery was initially cancelled the day prior to delivery and the new delivery window placed the delivery at worst just after my surgery. I rescheduled the surgery to accommodate the delivery window. Unfortunately I recieved notification of the new intended delivery date two days prior while I was out of town and I attempted to reschedule the delivery for the first opportunity which happened to be one day prior to the surgery. I spoke to no less than three individuals on the phone to ensure the delivery date was correct and confirmed in spite of numerous text and voice messages from the company informing me that the delivery date was wildly different than discussed and required immediate confirmation on pain of delivery cancellation. Two days later I recieved the confirm or delivery cancelled message informing me that the delivery was scheduled for the day of the surgery not the day before as arranged with the company. I rescheduled for the day after the surgery due to the complete lack of warning regarding yet another unilateral delivery date change. I confirmed both with the individual on the phone and in response to yet another confirm or delivery cancelled message shortly later on the same day. I then confirmed again two days prior to scheduled delivery upon receipt of yet another confirm or delivery cancelled message. The next day as I came out of surgery I had three messages demanding still yet another confirm or delivery cancelled message for the delivery on the following day.

Edit: The furniture was supposed to be delivered this week, according to the person who sold us a bed. It was not. When I called to ask about this, I was informed that the customer service person who sold us the furniture should not have made such a commitment, and further that it was up to me to call and ask when the furniture would show up as delivery estimates change. First, I am frustrated that I was given a date that was not solid. Second, I am frustrated that in the days of email, that Ashley cannot automatically email or even text me with updated delivery times. I don't believe that I will be shopping here again. The furniture is fine, but the process is problematic. Original post: Staff was helpful without being pushy. Very pleased with my purchase.

After spending over three hours looking at furniture, picking out what we liked, was also told by the salesperson who was helping us that we could get financing, at the end of the night was told we would have to put apply a down payment that night. Would not work with us and give us any type of good deal since we were buy a lot of furniture. We need furniture by a certain date but everything we picked out would not be delivered by that date and it is OVER a month away! Very shady business. We will take our business elsewhere. They lost a good sale! Oh, also...salesperson has still yet to follow up. Don't bother...
