Hello There, I gave this store 5 stars because everyone was kind and honest with me on when my item was ordered at the store when it would come in ... since the online said a different time line i found out they are just a franchise and have different unrealistic time frames plus nowhere to turn to if there is a question or concern... I will only be going to the Ashley store , they helped me find the right piece I needed. This is the 2nd piece I ordered from the Ashley store and they will not disappoint. Thank you to the great staff!! I highly recommend the Jefferson City, MO. Ashley store... I will return in the future for more furniture. Thank you so much, Shana

I came into the Jefferson City location looking for a sectional that I found online. Trineity was very helpful and easy to work with, and answered all my questions.

They contacted another store because we didn't want to wait a month. They said the other store had it and would call Monday, we'll Monday was mlk day so we didn't stress on it, but no call Tuesday, today is Wednesday still no call. January 21 2026

Was a pleasure buying my chair and sofa from Mike Peneston. He was helpful and gave me time to think about what I really wanted - I changed my mind from what I originally wanted. No high pressure or gotta buy now tactics. So pleasant to work with and excited to get my new furniture.

We have been thinking of the purchase of new living room furniture. Decided to stop in and take a look. We were pleasantly surprised by the nicest woman. She didn’t push us in anyway. Let us look and when I told her we had made a decision she was right with us. Her and the young lady that was working with her we the best. We had a nice chat and it just felt good to talk to such nice people

He was super friendly and worked with us on getting exactly what we wanted (in my favorite color!).He was patient with the kiddo and explained all of the options we had. We went in looking for a mattress and some information on purchasing new furniture. We didn’t have to wait long for a sales representative and left the store very pleased with our new mattress purchase. It was easy to set up a delivery date, as well. Ashley is our go-to furniture store.

I have dealt with this store twice.. I should've learned the 1st time.. You buy the furniture no problem, getting it is the problem... The managers excuse was ,the people who work get paid very little by Missouri furniture and thats why the warehouse failed to contact him, instead you take the bull by the horns and resolve the situation.There is no communication, and the store manager is a jerk.. He's an uptight individual with a cocky attitude. I figured I would give them a second chance, but they messed that up, too. They won't see my business anymore. I FAILED TO MENTION HE DIDNT REFUND MY MONY ON A MATRESS PROTECTCTOR BECAUSE IT WAD MARKED DOWN... A class A jerk..

I had been dealing back and forth for a warranty claim and Barron stepped in to help and he made the process easier. Everyone was kind every time I went in as well.

Review edit! I originally gave my purchase 4 Stars... the sales person was great not pushy but helpful with answering questions. I had elected to have my purchase shipped to the store for pickup....which they allowed me to and helped me unbox the product from the main box and load into my trunk as the boxes wouldn't fit as they were originally packaged....this saved me from having to make a second trip and from having to find someone to haul the items for me. And lastly... I picked these chairs with this image of how they could look in my head and they are fabulous in reality! Attached are the chairs purchased as shown on Ashley's website.... excuse the mess in the background...remodel still in process but the blue really just pops on these.

Price tag said that mattress in the box for 199 but the sales person checked that and told it was for 1200$

Turned out to be a horrible experience with them. They said the furniture would take 3 weeks max to deliver (Most likely 1 week) and it actually took 6 weeks. And the salesman over and over again reassured us the furniture was the color we were looking for, after we were skeptical the entire time and it turns out we were right. So the delivery took twice as long as they said and it was the wrong color. Salesman just wanted to get a sale and knew it was the wrong color but was just hoping we would keep it anyway. Purposely wasted our time. Never shopping here again.

Staff (specifically Barbie) was super helpful with finding options and different choices of what we were looking for, while providing us our own space to make decisions!

I had sort of a hiccup, that the Ashley store I was at the day before couldn’t seem to work around, where as Roger and his coworker made it seem like no big deal at all. They happily helped me and I was able to leave with a beautiful sectional purchased and hopefully delivered by thanksgiving. Will definitely be visiting this location again for future purchases.

We forgot to bring in an ad to show what discounted furniture we were wanting, but they looked it up on the computer and still matched the price. We were in and out pretty quickly. An associate greeted is a we walked in, but we didn't feel like we were being watched or hounded by sales people, we were given our space so we could try out the furniture and ask questions when we were ready

Went to buy a power lift chair. Roger was very helpful. Willing to check inventory, check warehouse availability and delivery times, all without being asked. This store told me my dresser would be at their store for pickup on Saturday. It was not there and it ruined the whole day because my family and I planned the day around this. We live an hour away so we have to plan these sorts of things ahead of time.

We recently bought a sectional from this store. I want to say how helpful and nice Trina and Barron was to us! We only went in to look, but when we found this sectional, we fell in love and Trina answered all our questions and took the time to help us out! I have told my friends and will continue to tell others about the great service we received from Trina and Barron!

We ordered a whole bunch of furniture from here and loved our salesperson. He left and it’s been a total disaster since with no communication and poor customer service. We finally received our furniture and two pieces have factory flaws which the delivery man reported when he delivered them and told us it would send a red flag across the company emails and prioritize replacements. He also said someone should call when he left to resolve the issue and no one did not even a week later. I called them and they acted like they didn’t know there was an issue when I literally watched the man submit the photos. I never had these issues with the Springfield store and honestly I think it may be a missouri furniture issue because they bought out ashley here. I love how cute the furniture is but I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone at this point. My end table has legs that lean and my daughters dresser didn’t have the hardware to connect the mirror. I would be very surprised if they fix it. I can’t wait for the rest of my set of furniture to get here so I can be done with them!

Couple months ago I got a sectional and ottoman from this store, my husband and I received a great customer service, we were attended by very kind people, they showed us different options and offered free doorstep delivery and an affordable protection plan. Even though there was a delay with the delivery of the ottoman, the sales people were very nice and attentive and tried their best to make it work for us. After having such a good experience at the store, we picked a dining room set online and decided go again to the store and get it. Unfortunately the nice guy who helped us the last time was busy with other customers, so another salesman offered to help. Although the service was not quite as good as it was the other time, it’s was not too bad. It was supposed to be an easy sale since I already had chosen what I wanted, I only wanted to see some similar stuff so I would make my decisión and order my set through the store. Finally we decided to order the set, so went to checkout. The price was going to be matched to the offered online, so it had to be approved for a guy who I think is the manager or something, I guess the guy was having a bad day or whatever but since we got to the counter he had a very bad attitude. Of course I was hoping to receive same service as the last time, but every thing I asked, the “manager” acted annoyed and answered in a bad way. He wanted to charge us a lot more than we paid before for the protection plan (that they did not even offered btw, I had to ask) and also the delivery, and when we asked him to check what we got the last time, again he gave his very rude face as if we were bothering him or asking for a favor. It was unbelievable, I’m not consider myself a picky person and really tried to be patient, but the service was awful at the point that I decided not to buy my dining set from this Ashley store. And guess what, when I told them I was not getting my stuff there because of their attitude, the guy just said “OK” of course with his annoyed “I don’t care” face. Too bad, I wonder how a business can remain open with this kind of service, there was not a soul in that showroom besides the other customers who were there when we walked in and they did not buy anything. Still they decided to let an easy sale go. Will order my dining set online or at the store in Columbia, won’t go back to that store ever! Have to mention, the nice gentleman who helped us with our first purchase saw what happened and catch up with us at the door and kindly apologized for what had just happened.

We came in to check out potential for a living room set for our new apartment, to replace a terrible sofa we needed to get rid of. First set we looked at was the Rotation Smoke reclining sofa and love seat (now discontinued) and chair. We tried all of the sofas they had in-store, but none of them felt as good. We ended up getting the Rotation Smoke set, with the power reclining option, which are still some of the most comfortable reclining sofas we've ever found. To boot, we got both for less than a single reclining sofa that also had our fancy, at the now defunct FFO.

Matt Hagood made the buying experience simple, easy, and he let me know EVERYTHING that was going on, step by step. I will recommend him, as well as the store!

Trina and Barren were wonderful associates. They helped me find the perfect couch and answered any and all questions I had. They had lovely attitudes and were a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other furniture associates I have experienced lately at other furniture stores.

I waited 3 months for my furniture. The manager told me he would give me a 10 percent discount if I gave them a 5 star rating. I shouldn’t have to lie to get good service. This place is a joke.

Made a purchase for a sectional on 7/7/20, over 3 months later we are still waiting on the sofa part of our purchase. This store really needs to get their act together, each piece came in individually the first piece that came in was the Chaise part of sectional we then had to wait a full month for the armless love seat part. When notified that the last piece came in a full 2 and a half months after original purchase, we picked it up from the store and brought it home only to find out it was the wrong piece and doesn't match up with the other pieces we already have. When we brought it back they told us we are in luck because the part we need is currently in their warehouse in California and ready to ship. Two weeks later I had to call to check on my missing piece, and apparently it's still in California set to be shipped on Oct 11, and could be another 1 and a half weeks before I get the delivery. That's the same amount of time(1-2 weeks) we were told it would take when we originally purchased the sectional at the store in early July. Not once have they reached out or made a call to me about the status of my purchase. Every time I've had to either call them or stop by the store to check on item, only to get the run-around. This was the first time I've purchased from this store and Ashley furniture in general and will definitely be the last. I won't recommend anyone to shop here, due to this horrible experience and customer service. Even we I called corporate about the matter today, I was put on hold with a message about covid causing delays and experiencing a high amount of calls. Resorted to leaving a voicemail to receive a callback, and guess what I'm still waiting on the call back. I guess what's another day after 3 months of no return calls. Poor customer service all around with this store and company, get it together.

Wiley Bird was an amazing sales person. Nice and easy to work with. I am adding to this review because I still have not received my furniture. My furniture was ordered on May 24th. I was told 6-8 weeks delivery date. Estimated date of July 8. June 29th I received a confirmation of delivery for July 8. On July 1st I was sent a message my delivery date was pushed back to Aug 3rd. At that time I called and asked what my option were. I was told by customer service I could 1) wait for my order or 2) go into the store and cancel my order. July 20th I received a message of delivery date of Aug 8th. July 30th I received a message pick a delivery date which I did, Aug 5. Aug 3rd I received a phone call giving me a PARTIAL delivery on Aug 12 (what happen to Aug 5 who knows). I am now told Aug 12th for part of my order and Sept for the other part. Also a heads up when asked how to cancel my order the customer service line tells me I have to cancel it in the store and the store tells me it has to be online. Good luck if you order from here!

These people are crooks! We went to the store 7/3/2020. We ordered over 1000 dollars of furniture. They have not called or delivered anything yet. Called the store 7/24/20 and spoke with a manager. He advised that the store was sold to another company and would get back to us about a possible delivery in the next 2 or 3 months. He then refused to offer a refund and of course didn't offer any help or apologize.

Kind sales people. Be warned... check their online prices first. They advertise huge sales yet the in store sale price is MORE than the online price. Extremely disappointed in their business practices.

Quite possibly the worst furniture store to buy from. We bought multiple pieces of furniture from this store. First problem, only one piece of furniture was delivered on time. Second problem, when trying to call customer service to figure out why only some furniture was delivered, we were put on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally after getting someone, they had ZERO clue on how to help us. We went to the store to figure out the solution and they were absolutely zero help as well. We finally figure out our furniture would not be delivered for another MONTH. They offered us zero discounts or even an apology as to why it was taking so long. Third problem, when the company called us to confirm our delivery, we were texted, emailed, and called, and apparently they still didn’t get the confirmation even though we went through all 3 options. Fourth, our furniture was delivered today, at the wrong time when they told us. Over an hour late. Finally, we bought the furniture over two months ago. The furniture was put on sale about 3 days ago and our furniture was still not delivered yet. We asked if we could get the sale price because we still do not have our furniture. The sales person told us flat out no. What an absolute waste of space in that retail shopping center. Ashley furniture is the worst store I have ever bought from and will make sure I tell everyone not to shop from them. What an absolute disgrace.

Pillows were awesome, would recommend for everyone! Wiley Bird helped us out so much and would always recommend talking to him. I mean 400+ for two pillows sounds like a lot but he helped us try them and really showed us their worth.

Wiley at Ashley was awesome! I bought a new house and had hardly any furniture but knew what I was looking for and the staff at Ashley weren't trying to get me to buy something else or 'comparable'. They helped me get what I wanted for a fair price and enlightened me on the latest technology in getting a good nights sleep.

Went to the store and bought a complete bed set. We knew what we wanted when we walked in. Had to wait awhile to be helped as they were busy at the time. The salesmen apologized multiple times. Overall, the salesman who helped us was great and walked us through everything and answered all of our questions. Can't wait to get my bed set delivered to our home we just built!

The salespeople were very polite and professional. But they made an error when they gave me their best offer. After running my credit check and doing my paperwork, they found the error in the discount they had offered me. The final cost was $200 more. They apologized but said they could not go any lower. They gave me free delivery and a pillow.

Walked in the door and immediately recieved friendly help! No pushy sales people, everyone was great and the process was quick and easy! I always dread these kinds of purchases because I always feel like I'm pressured into buying more than I want! Made a large purchase of furniture for our family room last fall. Found out one day prior to delivery the ottoman would be back ordered. Was given the runaround by the JC Ashley store for several weeks. After making multiple complaints the ottoman finally shows up. Lavon, a “district sales manager” told me I would receive a refund for my troubles for the ottoman. I have yet to receive that refund. I don’t like being misled or be lied to. One thing to note, the JC Ashley store is owned by a franchise co in Memphis. They’re pathetic with customer service, basically useless. Won’t ever go back to Ashley Furniture.

The service is great but the paper work to just buy something from the store to take with you is rediculous!

Trina is very knowledgeable and courteous. Very neatly kept floor, great selection, and good prices. Made a purchase today and will be back very soon. If you are in the market for furniture, make this your first stop and ask for Trina.

We have been looking for a while for some new furniture for our house and went to literally all the local furniture stores and the service was awesome. The associate there that assisted us, Savannah, was patient with us didn't try to force a sale, and really worked with us to get the exact furniture we wanted and walked us through the entire process. Also they will deliver and set it all up for you. Cant wait to get the new furniture and be rid of this old uncomfortable sofa. Thank you Ashley furniture and Savannah for a great job.

I want a dresser set last year and Ashley Home Store in Jefferson City Missouri. I can't believe I got approved for credit I was able to purchase it. I paid off the furniture this month. I was in need of a couch and went back to Ashley Home Store. They remembered me and I made me feel good. I was approved for credit again and purchased a lovely reclining couch which I can't wait to receive on Friday the 13th. I also have multiple sclerosis and the national MS Society said I could get in place for recliner and I choose Ashley Home store and they approved it hasn't dollar recliner for me. I matched it with the couch I ordered. This is going to be a beautiful blessed Christmas for me.

We were so excited about our sectional, when delivered it wasn't the color they had in the show room and the delivery men tore the couch portion. They said they would replace it, its been over a month since we got the delivery! When i call the store i get a run around. Then a couple of weeks ago a guy called and said the piece was ready and set up a delivery date we waited all day, no show. First and last purchase from Ashley!

I ordered two lamps which were delivered today by FedEx. When I opened first box I found three defective spots on the shade. Since the lamps were too big for my room and since one of them needed to returned I called Ashley for refund. After two calls to main number I called my local Ashley store in jc. After quite a bit of run around, I was told to bring lamps into store for refund. I had two giant boxes, one lamp and one shade. No one greeted me although two people were sitting at computers. I did mention they were returns. No one offered to help me bring in the merchandize. I felt like they did not want to help me and there was nothing wrong with shades. The person who did the refund told me there was no receipt to give me. That it would show up on my card. I left store and returned advising her I wanted something in writing. She said if I wait 10 min she would have a receipt showing the refund. I can't believe the negative service I got for the refund especially since I had purchased almost $3000 during the last month there. My thoughts are I won't be doing business with this store again. Sad day. .

I had been furniture shopping for the past couple of months. Thought I'd found things at another store. Went to local Ashley store a second time. Jared was great to work with! Gave me space and time to look, ask questions and decide. Working with Jared and the manager, I was able to get what I wanted for the living room, plus a dining set, for less than the living room set I was considering purchasing at a competitor. Couldn't be more pleased!!
