Very pleased with my experience with Roger at the Jefferson City store. I had sort of a hiccup, that the Ashley store I was at the day before couldn’t seem to work around, where as Roger and his coworker made it seem like no big deal at all. They happily helped me and I was able to leave with a beautiful sectional purchased and hopefully delivered by thanksgiving. Will definitely be visiting this location again for future purchases.

Do not buy anything from Ashely if you like your money. They have horrible quality and customer service. Please check out Ashley furniture reviews on the better business bureau (BBB) and search for the groups on Facebook that have horrible service and issues with Ashely. This is an absolute horrible organization and even worse quality in their products. You will regret buying from them! Once you buy and it’s delivered to your home you are stuck with it no matter what. Don’t buy the extended warranty because they do not honor it!! Go spend your money at a small mom and pop furniture store that actually cares about you as a customer.
Upon meeting a sales associate at the entrance, and explaining to Kevin, my situation, he took me directly to the item I was inquiring about. He was very courteous and knowledgeable, and even though I purchased items other than the original my overall experience was great. Would definitely return! Thanks Ashley!

We forgot to bring in an ad to show what discounted furniture we were wanting, but they looked it up on the computer and still matched the price. We were in and out pretty quickly. An associate greeted is a we walked in, but we didn't feel like we were being watched or hounded by sales people, we were given our space so we could try out the furniture and ask questions when we were ready

Went to buy a power lift chair. Roger was very helpful. Willing to check inventory, check warehouse availability and delivery times, all without being asked. He voluntarily provided all the information to make things easier. Even though his work day was soon over, he didn't make me feel rushed in making a decision. Very pleasant and easy to work with.

Never felt pressured to buy anything but after trying out a few and then talking to the sales rep Kevin, I was quite happy with how things were going and decided to go ahead and pick up that mattress. Roger Crowder was an exceptional salesman! Wasnt pushy about our declining warranty even though he highly recommened it. It wasnt his fault we declined, we just had a bad experience with warranty company. They (the warranty company)didnt stand behind cleaning our furniture which is why we bought warranty anyway.THANK YOU ROGER! It was so great meeting you. Our experience was wonderful this go around!

I had an amazing experience at Ashley furniture! I have been at this store in the past...but this trip was different. I was absolutely pleased with the difference in my experience! Brien, was extremely helpful! He took his time to listen to what I wanted, I what I needed, was not extremely pushy, but tentative, well dressed, and absolutely made my shopping experience worth the difference in price! With the current sales they are running, the difference in quality, as well as his attention to detail I will be using Ashley, and only shop with Brien for my future purposes at this store! I recommend the Jefferson City Ashley store and their team! The woman, and other man seemed friendly too...But I will be referring my friends and family to Brien. Thanks for a great shopping experience! see you guys again soon! I looked at a rug some smaller items for living and dining and am dead set on some dining chairs and a mattress!

We ordered furniture in November in hopes to get it by March. Well no such luck to start with. Part came in May. Never got the side rails for our bed. Had to go with an after market so we could get our bed put together. I had two pieces of furniture left to receive and it finally came in beginning of August. I had ordered a dresser and matching chest. But when I got the bill the chest was almost $1700.00. That was not the price when I ordered it, but could find the info so I had to make a quick decision because they wanted paid to deliver. So I switched to a different chest in my price range so I could get my clothes off the floor. Good thing I was home because they were going to leave my dresser and chest the two pieces in the driveway. Of course it rained over 2" an hour after they left. Then I was going back through my paperwork and found the original Chest I had ordered. It was on sale for $639.00 and not $1700.00. The chest I chose on line does not match my furniture in my rush to pay them. So what would you do. I'm asking that they get me the original chest for $639.00 that they were trying to bait and switch for $1700.00 and pick up the other chest. I've emailed Robert Mullen now 3 times requesting that they need to make things right. Haven't heard from him yet. Other that the chest for $1700.00 they now don't have. My experience thus far is not anywhere near a favorable rating.

This store told me my dresser would be at their store for pickup on Saturday. It was not there and it ruined the whole day because my family and I planned the day around this. We live an hour away so we have to plan these sorts of things ahead of time.

We ordered a whole bunch of furniture from here and loved our salesperson. He left and it’s been a total disaster since with no communication and poor customer service. We finally received our furniture and two pieces have factory flaws which the delivery man reported when he delivered them and told us it would send a red flag across the company emails and prioritize replacements. He also said someone should call when he left to resolve the issue and no one did not even a week later. I called them and they acted like they didn’t know there was an issue when I literally watched the man submit the photos. I never had these issues with the Springfield store and honestly I think it may be a missouri furniture issue because they bought out ashley here. I love how cute the furniture is but I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone at this point. My end table has legs that lean and my daughters dresser didn’t have the hardware to connect the mirror. I would be very surprised if they fix it. I can’t wait for the rest of my set of furniture to get here so I can be done with them!

Couple months ago I got a sectional and ottoman from this store, my husband and I received a great customer service, we were attended by very kind people, they showed us different options and offered free doorstep delivery and an affordable protection plan. Even though there was a delay with the delivery of the ottoman, the sales people were very nice and attentive and tried their best to make it work for us. After having such a good experience at the store, we picked a dining room set online and decided go again to the store and get it. Unfortunately the nice guy who helped us the last time was busy with other customers, so another salesman offered to help. Although the service was not quite as good as it was the other time, it’s was not too bad. It was supposed to be an easy sale since I already had chosen what I wanted, I only wanted to see some similar stuff so I would make my decisión and order my set through the store. Finally we decided to order the set, so went to checkout. The price was going to be matched to the offered online, so it had to be approved for a guy who I think is the manager or something, I guess the guy was having a bad day or whatever but since we got to the counter he had a very bad attitude. Of course I was hoping to receive same service as the last time, but every thing I asked, the “manager” acted annoyed and answered in a bad way. He wanted to charge us a lot more than we paid before for the protection plan (that they did not even offered btw, I had to ask) and also the delivery, and when we asked him to check what we got the last time, again he gave his very rude face as if we were bothering him or asking for a favor. It was unbelievable, I’m not consider myself a picky person and really tried to be patient, but the service was awful at the point that I decided not to buy my dining set from this Ashley store. And guess what, when I told them I was not getting my stuff there because of their attitude, the guy just said “OK” of course with his annoyed “I don’t care” face. Too bad, I wonder how a business can remain open with this kind of service, there was not a soul in that showroom besides the other customers who were there when we walked in and they did not buy anything. Still they decided to let an easy sale go. Will order my dining set online or at the store in Columbia, won’t go back to that store ever! Have to mention, the nice gentleman who helped us with our first purchase saw what happened and catch up with us at the door and kindly apologized for what had just happened.
We came in to check out potential for a living room set for our new apartment, to replace a terrible sofa we needed to get rid of. First set we looked at was the Rotation Smoke reclining sofa and love seat (now discontinued) and chair. We tried all of the sofas they had in-store, but none of them felt as good. We ended up getting the Rotation Smoke set, with the power reclining option, which are still some of the most comfortable reclining sofas we've ever found. To boot, we got both for less than a single reclining sofa that also had our fancy, at the now defunct FFO.
Matt Hagood made the buying experience simple, easy, and he let me know EVERYTHING that was going on, step by step. I will recommend him, as well as the store!

Made a purchase for a sectional on 7/7/20, over 3 months later we are still waiting on the sofa part of our purchase. This store really needs to get their act together, each piece came in individually the first piece that came in was the Chaise part of sectional we then had to wait a full month for the armless love seat part. When notified that the last piece came in a full 2 and a half months after original purchase, we picked it up from the store and brought it home only to find out it was the wrong piece and doesn't match up with the other pieces we already have. When we brought it back they told us we are in luck because the part we need is currently in their warehouse in California and ready to ship. Two weeks later I had to call to check on my missing piece, and apparently it's still in California set to be shipped on Oct 11, and could be another 1 and a half weeks before I get the delivery. That's the same amount of time(1-2 weeks) we were told it would take when we originally purchased the sectional at the store in early July. Not once have they reached out or made a call to me about the status of my purchase. Every time I've had to either call them or stop by the store to check on item, only to get the run-around. This was the first time I've purchased from this store and Ashley furniture in general and will definitely be the last. I won't recommend anyone to shop here, due to this horrible experience and customer service. Even we I called corporate about the matter today, I was put on hold with a message about covid causing delays and experiencing a high amount of calls. Resorted to leaving a voicemail to receive a callback, and guess what I'm still waiting on the call back. I guess what's another day after 3 months of no return calls. Poor customer service all around with this store and company, get it together.
first time purchasing from Ashley's bought 4000 worth of furniture we purchased a sectional and kitchen table. we were told 6 to 8 weeks for them to get it but for sure by 8 weeks...ok great no problem 8 weeks came around get rid of old furniture to make room for new right.....ha wrong gor rid of old just to be told its another 4 and a half weeks out u til October 1st...then today is told not until the end of October so 6 to 8 weeks will have turned into 4 months 2 and a half of those months without furniture with a family of 6🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 maybe don't give people a time line of it will be here within 8 weeks if thats not true..I will never purchase anything from this company after this😡😡😡
The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Ordered furniture on June 7th and wasn’t told anything about delays or back orders. Two months later still no communication. Spent almost an entire month of phone calls and Facebook messages to get my order cancelled. We will never step foot inside an Ashley Homestore again.
Wiley Bird was an amazing sales person. Nice and easy to work with. I am adding to this review because I still have not received my furniture. My furniture was ordered on May 24th. I was told 6-8 weeks delivery date. Estimated date of July 8. June 29th I received a confirmation of delivery for July 8. On July 1st I was sent a message my delivery date was pushed back to Aug 3rd. At that time I called and asked what my option were. I was told by customer service I could 1) wait for my order or 2) go into the store and cancel my order. July 20th I received a message of delivery date of Aug 8th. July 30th I received a message pick a delivery date which I did, Aug 5. Aug 3rd I received a phone call giving me a PARTIAL delivery on Aug 12 (what happen to Aug 5 who knows). I am now told Aug 12th for part of my order and Sept for the other part. Also a heads up when asked how to cancel my order the customer service line tells me I have to cancel it in the store and the store tells me it has to be online. Good luck if you order from here!
These people are crooks! We went to the store 7/3/2020. We ordered over 1000 dollars of furniture. They have not called or delivered anything yet. Called the store 7/24/20 and spoke with a manager. He advised that the store was sold to another company and would get back to us about a possible delivery in the next 2 or 3 months. He then refused to offer a refund and of course didn't offer any help or apologize.
Kind sales people. Be warned... check their online prices first. They advertise huge sales yet the in store sale price is MORE than the online price. Extremely disappointed in their business practices.
Quite possibly the worst furniture store to buy from. We bought multiple pieces of furniture from this store. First problem, only one piece of furniture was delivered on time. Second problem, when trying to call customer service to figure out why only some furniture was delivered, we were put on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally after getting someone, they had ZERO clue on how to help us. We went to the store to figure out the solution and they were absolutely zero help as well. We finally figure out our furniture would not be delivered for another MONTH. They offered us zero discounts or even an apology as to why it was taking so long. Third problem, when the company called us to confirm our delivery, we were texted, emailed, and called, and apparently they still didn’t get the confirmation even though we went through all 3 options. Fourth, our furniture was delivered today, at the wrong time when they told us. Over an hour late. Finally, we bought the furniture over two months ago. The furniture was put on sale about 3 days ago and our furniture was still not delivered yet. We asked if we could get the sale price because we still do not have our furniture. The sales person told us flat out no. What an absolute waste of space in that retail shopping center. Ashley furniture is the worst store I have ever bought from and will make sure I tell everyone not to shop from them. What an absolute disgrace.

I went to Ashley Furniture one day after work just to take a glance at some sofas.Trina came up right away and was very friendly and helpful. I told her what I was interested in and that I would be back in a few days to look more thoroughly. I actually ended up going back in the very next day and Trina was not there but another gentleman named Chris that was there remembered me amd let me know what ever i needed help with to let them know. I ended up purchasing a very nice sofa after Lance was very, very helpful. He went above and beyond and it was a very nice experience. None of them were pushy at all and I found that refreshing, and they also seem like they truly want what is best for you and what you need.

Wiley at Ashley was awesome! I bought a new house and had hardly any furniture but knew what I was looking for and the staff at Ashley weren't trying to get me to buy something else or 'comparable'. They helped me get what I wanted for a fair price and enlightened me on the latest technology in getting a good nights sleep.
Went to the store and bought a complete bed set. We knew what we wanted when we walked in. Had to wait awhile to be helped as they were busy at the time. The salesmen apologized multiple times. Overall, the salesman who helped us was great and walked us through everything and answered all of our questions. Can't wait to get my bed set delivered to our home we just built!
The salespeople were very polite and professional. But they made an error when they gave me their best offer. After running my credit check and doing my paperwork, they found the error in the discount they had offered me. The final cost was $200 more. They apologized but said they could not go any lower. They gave me free delivery and a pillow.
We purchased a loft bed on sale last September. It was immediately scheduled for delivery in November. We thought that was pretty far out, but we understood being a sale it might take a little longer than expected (plus it gave us an extra month than expected to paint). November roll around and when we call to schedule a delivery they tell us it will be December. Ok... We call in December and it gets pushed to January....We call in January it gets pushed to February....FINALLY it gets delivered. Delivery guys come and set up the bed and lo and behold the bed was manufactured to the wrong specifications... So they disassemble the thing and take it back. New Delivery in March! I tell the store I don't think it's inappropriate for me to ask for the furniture at a discount. They happen to be in-between managers at the moment so other people are filling in? I literally got an answer one time, that "well...she was a little bit of the manager". They knocked off the delivery fee (which I found out later was standard for complaints, despite the fact that it would be the 2nd delivery to my home) and an extra 20 bucks off. It was relayed to me that another store manager made that decision and that's all I'm getting because they would be 'taking a loss' on anything more. They are basically saying with these purchases you get $20 worth of customer service. I will never buy another thing from an Ashley Store nor will I ever recommend it. Just a terrible experience. They've held my money since September and I have nothing to show for it.
Wiley was very helpful in the selection of my sectional and apprised me of all options. He was detained and very professional.
Walked in the door and immediately recieved friendly help! No pushy sales people, everyone was great and the process was quick and easy! I always dread these kinds of purchases because I always feel like I'm pressured into buying more than I want! Made a large purchase of furniture for our family room last fall. Found out one day prior to delivery the ottoman would be back ordered. Was given the runaround by the JC Ashley store for several weeks. After making multiple complaints the ottoman finally shows up. Lavon, a “district sales manager” told me I would receive a refund for my troubles for the ottoman. I have yet to receive that refund. I don’t like being misled or be lied to. One thing to note, the JC Ashley store is owned by a franchise co in Memphis. They’re pathetic with customer service, basically useless. Won’t ever go back to Ashley Furniture.

We have been looking for a while for some new furniture for our house and went to literally all the local furniture stores and the service was awesome. The associate there that assisted us, Savannah, was patient with us didn't try to force a sale, and really worked with us to get the exact furniture we wanted and walked us through the entire process. Also they will deliver and set it all up for you. Cant wait to get the new furniture and be rid of this old uncomfortable sofa. Thank you Ashley furniture and Savannah for a great job.

I want a dresser set last year and Ashley Home Store in Jefferson City Missouri. I can't believe I got approved for credit I was able to purchase it. I paid off the furniture this month. I was in need of a couch and went back to Ashley Home Store. They remembered me and I made me feel good. I was approved for credit again and purchased a lovely reclining couch which I can't wait to receive on Friday the 13th. I also have multiple sclerosis and the national MS Society said I could get in place for recliner and I choose Ashley Home store and they approved it hasn't dollar recliner for me. I matched it with the couch I ordered. This is going to be a beautiful blessed Christmas for me.

I recently placed an online order for dining room furniture. After submitting the order, I decided that I wanted to add another piece. I called the number provided in the confirmation email and waited over 45 minutes for someone to answer. No luck. I tried another number and waited again. No answer. Finally, I called the local store to try to talk to a live person. Brianna N was the first person I talked to. She was so helpful and understanding! Even though in-store purchases are completely separate from online purchases, she worked diligently to resolve the situation—I ended up cancelling my online order and going into the store to make a purchase. At the store, Keith helped me find just the right items to complete my space. He was also able to give me a much better price than online AND I saved on delivery. Keith stayed late to make sure everything was in order before sending me on my way. He also used the sale as a training experience for a new sales associate named Wiley. It was obvious that Wiley had been taught well—he was able to quickly answer my questions with confidence AND he did it with a smile. I learned an important lesson in all of this...take the time to shop in person. Online shopping is convenient, but excellent customer care can only be found in the store.

We were so excited about our sectional, when delivered it wasn't the color they had in the show room and the delivery men tore the couch portion. They said they would replace it, its been over a month since we got the delivery! When i call the store i get a run around. Then a couple of weeks ago a guy called and said the piece was ready and set up a delivery date we waited all day, no show. First and last purchase from Ashley!

I ordered two lamps which were delivered today by FedEx. When I opened first box I found three defective spots on the shade. Since the lamps were too big for my room and since one of them needed to returned I called Ashley for refund. After two calls to main number I called my local Ashley store in jc. After quite a bit of run around, I was told to bring lamps into store for refund. I had two giant boxes, one lamp and one shade. No one greeted me although two people were sitting at computers. I did mention they were returns. No one offered to help me bring in the merchandize. I felt like they did not want to help me and there was nothing wrong with shades. The person who did the refund told me there was no receipt to give me. That it would show up on my card. I left store and returned advising her I wanted something in writing. She said if I wait 10 min she would have a receipt showing the refund. I can't believe the negative service I got for the refund especially since I had purchased almost $3000 during the last month there. My thoughts are I won't be doing business with this store again. Sad day. .
I had been furniture shopping for the past couple of months. Thought I'd found things at another store. Went to local Ashley store a second time. Jared was great to work with! Gave me space and time to look, ask questions and decide. Working with Jared and the manager, I was able to get what I wanted for the living room, plus a dining set, for less than the living room set I was considering purchasing at a competitor. Couldn't be more pleased!!

On Friday, April 26th, my husband, Jim and I decided that we wanted a new love seat that reclined and a sofa that also reclined. Jim got online and researched for almost three hours checking specifications, prices and locations for a place to shop. Price and quality were both important since we're both retired and need to watch our budget. After researching, it was decided that the Jefferson City store was our best option. In his research, he'd found that the best price was through Amazon. Upon arrival at the store on Saturday, April 27th, we were greeted by Ramona Mormann who took us immediately to the furniture we had chosen online. She is such a pleasant salesperson, it was like shopping with a friend. She was also knowledgeable and not a high pressure attempt was made. She checked with the manager for the best price for us and came back with numbers that were about $200 more than Amazon. Jim showed her his figures, which she took to the manager, who said he would match the price. What a pleasant surprise this was! We were prepared to purchase if they could get close in price, just to keep our business local. We had no objection to the low delivery and set-up fees. We purchased our furniture and were on our way home in less than an hour. It was a fun time with no pressure or hard- line bargaining. We were dreading our trip and to have it end this way was just great. Thanks to Ramona and her manager for a memorable shopping spree. We will definitely be returning when we need furniture again and will recommend Ashley highly to our friends and relatives. Jim and Pam Butery

I bought two light tables and a mattress from the Jefferson City store. That&'s why it&'s so incredible that they damaged my home with such an easily delivery. I keep getting promises that they will pay for the damage but its been 4 weeks now with nothing done. To top that off, the store manager, Evan was extremely rude to me and refused to give me the information to reach someone at a higher level to get this resolved. The furniture is expensive and decent quality. The lack of respect for the customer and their customer&'s property is absolutely atrocious. I wouldn&'t go on the store even if they offered me free stuff. It&'s not worth damaging your home. I&'m still trying to reach a regional manager or someone to get this resolved and to let them know how Evan speaks to customers in his store. BUYER BEWARE.

My girlfriend and I just bought a sectional and ottoman today. Our salesman Dallas who was new, managed to make us feel incredibly comfortable and was so accommodating. Much to my surprise and delight, Keith Nigus was able to find a warehouse in our state that still had 10 in stock and I was able to purchase 2 of them! We were in need of some furniture due to life changes. We had been looking for some time and knew what we wanted for the most part. We got a flyer in the mail for a one day sale where we saved a lot of money. The best part was the help from Dallas, our sales associate. He was helpful, polite, not pushy, and stepped away kindly when asked so that we could discuss in private. Our trip to the furniture store was short and painless thanks to his assistance.

Great customer service at Jefferson City Ashley Homestore! My husband, kids and I went in looking to purchase a new sectional, the person working with us, Trina, patiently answered all of our questions (we had a lot) and helped us find the perfect couch for us. Furniture shopping with kids isn’t always easy, but the staff was accommodating and wonderful with our kids as well. She made sure we knew all of our purchasing options (financing options, protection plans, etc.) and took great care of us! We will definitely be returning for any future furniture needs, I highly recommend!

I stopped by last week just looking and spotted the perfect furniture. Keith Nigus was very knowledgeable about the furniture as well as pricing and warranty info. I told him I’d come back over the weekend (today) and my purchase was made within 10 mins of being in the store. I recommend the Jefferson City location.
